- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Got to turn them out, to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your baby,
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh, I shall will. Good morning to everybody you
- 2:05Speaker 1: are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:11Speaker 1: oh man, almost forgot I had one this morning. But
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm okay. I'll tell you who I am. It a
- 2:18Speaker 1: little bit, you know, I get around. Man, it's so much.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But man, good morning everybody. You know today I was
- 2:26Speaker 1: having a conversation with my wife last night, and we
- 2:29Speaker 1: were talking about our plans. You know, we often sit down,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know, just like a married couple. I mean, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know we're married. You know, we have children, we
- 2:38Speaker 1: have aspirations, we have hopes, we I mean, we have
- 2:42Speaker 1: things we want. You know, when you're married, you know,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean it's important to sit with your partner. I'm
- 2:48Speaker 1: not telling you anything you don't know, it's common sense. Really,
- 2:51Speaker 1: it's important to sit down with the person that you've
- 2:54Speaker 1: chosen and decided to share your life with it and
- 2:57Speaker 1: have multiple conversations on a lot of things. And we
- 3:00Speaker 1: try to make sure that all of our conversations aren't
- 3:04Speaker 1: always just business related and always kid related, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 1: because that that that becomes it's a part of it.
- 3:14Speaker 1: But it weighs so much on the marriage that because
- 3:18Speaker 1: that that's the grunt work of being married. You know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: your children, your family, your bills, your your mortgage, your
- 3:25Speaker 1: your car notes. You know though, what's due, what's coming up,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and if you're not careful, you'll you'll start that becomes
- 3:35Speaker 1: the focal point of you all's conversation. And this woman
- 3:40Speaker 1: or man or person that you've decided to have this
- 3:42Speaker 1: life with, all of a sudden, they're an extension of
- 3:45Speaker 1: your business, and you guys become business partners or whatever,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and and and it just gets so anywhere. I'm just
- 3:54Speaker 1: saying that that is important to sit down and have
- 3:56Speaker 1: these conversations, but it's even more important to have the
- 4:01Speaker 1: other conversation, you know. It's it's important with the person
- 4:04Speaker 1: that you're planning on making the run to sit down
- 4:07Speaker 1: and talk about other things, you know, on a more
- 4:11Speaker 1: upbeat note. You know, we were having a conversation that
- 4:14Speaker 1: she was reminding me of what she loved about me,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and then I, in turn, was turned around telling her
- 4:22Speaker 1: the things that I admired about her and loved about her.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And we kind of have these all the time, you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: when we sit down and we talk about the things
- 4:32Speaker 1: that we still enjoy about one another, or we may
- 4:35Speaker 1: talk about some of the things that we miss in
- 4:37Speaker 1: one another. But we constantly had these conversations about appreciation.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You know, it's so important man, that the other person
- 4:45Speaker 1: feels appreciated. So these things are important. But we got
- 4:50Speaker 1: into the conversation deeper last night, and I was telling
- 4:53Speaker 1: her about this idea that I had and that I
- 4:57Speaker 1: wanted her to help me with and make a own
- 5:00Speaker 1: call for me because she knows these people and I
- 5:03Speaker 1: was going to be doing this, and then my wife
- 5:05Speaker 1: reminded me of something. Now once again, you know, as always,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you know, when I'm talking to you, I just keep
- 5:12Speaker 1: it as real as I can. I don't know the
- 5:14Speaker 1: Bible inside out. I can't quote to you scriptures and
- 5:18Speaker 1: tell you exactly where it is I just you know,
- 5:21Speaker 1: I heard her say it, but it kind of blew
- 5:23Speaker 1: by me. I was, I was telling about something I
- 5:27Speaker 1: wanted to make happen, and she reminded me that there's
- 5:29Speaker 1: a scripture somewhere and somebody emailed it to me to day.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I'm sure, well, the Bible reminds us not to be
- 5:36Speaker 1: anxious for anything. Don't be anxious for something. And you know,
- 5:42Speaker 1: it really mattered to me at that point yesterday that
- 5:45Speaker 1: she bought this to my attention, because how many times
- 5:48Speaker 1: I've been guilty of that in my past and I've
- 5:52Speaker 1: learned better now, but every now and then I need
- 5:54Speaker 1: to be reminded, you know, And I think what that
- 5:58Speaker 1: what she was saying to me, He was, you know,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I've gotten to a point in my life, and we
- 6:04Speaker 1: all should get to a point where. You know, you've
- 6:07Speaker 1: heard old people say this. If you're gonna pray about something,
- 6:10Speaker 1: then don't worry about it. And if you're gonna worry
- 6:12Speaker 1: about it, don't pray about it. Back to this, be
- 6:17Speaker 1: anxious for nothing, don't. If you're going to trust in God,
- 6:22Speaker 1: didn't do that, and trusting in him means sometimes you
- 6:27Speaker 1: got to be patient. God has never been too late.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You don't know the plan he has, You don't know
- 6:35Speaker 1: You don't really always know his will. You definitely don't
- 6:38Speaker 1: know his route, his way of doing anything. So he's
- 6:42Speaker 1: always on time. He's always been there on time for me.
- 6:46Speaker 1: He's always been there on time for you. How many
- 6:49Speaker 1: times have you thought it was over only to find
- 6:53Speaker 1: out it's really just begun. How many times have people
- 6:57Speaker 1: wrote you off? There are those of you who have
- 7:02Speaker 1: lost jobs, but you are still maintaining. But man, God
- 7:08Speaker 1: has already began to turn around process for many of us.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Some of us lost jobs and now have better jobs.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Some of us lost jobs and now has forced us
- 7:20Speaker 1: to rekindle that dream and that vision for business we had.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It's sometimes the mishap is the thing you need to
- 7:28Speaker 1: make something good happen. See a lot of times we
- 7:32Speaker 1: get so comfortable in our life where we we get complacent,
- 7:38Speaker 1: We just settling in and when this is it and
- 7:41Speaker 1: this is what I'm doing. But in actuality, God has
- 7:44Speaker 1: a tremendous amount of abundance for you. He has an
- 7:48Speaker 1: amazing amount of things. He has all these boxes packaged
- 7:52Speaker 1: up with your name on him that he's willing to
- 7:54Speaker 1: ship if you would just align yourself with some of
- 7:59Speaker 1: his wills so you can get some of these things.
- 8:01Speaker 1: How many times have you thought it was over and
- 8:04Speaker 1: it didn't really go over. How many times have you thought, well,
- 8:08Speaker 1: this is it and it wasn't it at all. Well,
- 8:11Speaker 1: how many times do you thought, well, it don't look
- 8:13Speaker 1: like this gonna work out, and it didn't work out,
- 8:16Speaker 1: but then something better came along? How many times has
- 8:19Speaker 1: that happened? You've got to realize this. Man. I was
- 8:23Speaker 1: talking to a family who had got displaced from the
- 8:26Speaker 1: Katrina thing that happened down there in New Orleans, and Man,
- 8:31Speaker 1: when they said, yeah, we got a displaced from Katrina,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and I braced myself because old what was me? Here
- 8:36Speaker 1: comes this story. I gotta hear this, and I gotta
- 8:39Speaker 1: be encouraging think of something. It was totally different. They
- 8:42Speaker 1: totally totally blew me away. Man. The brother said, Man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: is actually the best thing that ever happened to my family.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And I went whoa And he said, yeah, man, he said,
- 8:54Speaker 1: because what happened was he said, I got settled in.
- 8:57Speaker 1: He said, Plus, I was doing something outside of my
- 9:01Speaker 1: marriage down there, he said, I was doing some stuff
- 9:04Speaker 1: in the streets I ain't need to be doing he said, Man,
- 9:06Speaker 1: it all got washed away. We thought our life would
- 9:09Speaker 1: never be the same. But he said, man, my life
- 9:11Speaker 1: ain't need to be the same. He said. Man. Now
- 9:14Speaker 1: we live up here in Texas. We got a house,
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I
- 9:20Speaker 1: know to get into trouble with. He said, man, I've
- 9:23Speaker 1: rediscovered my wife, how beautiful she really is, how much
- 9:26Speaker 1: my family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: it's straightened me up. Man, he said, so, I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 1: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:37Speaker 1: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:40Speaker 1: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 1: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:47Speaker 1: on cause, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He got some great stuff in store for you. You're
- 9:58Speaker 1: listening harding morning show. Ladies and gentlemen. I don't know

- 10:10Speaker 1: Don't really care though, because what I want you to
- 10:12Speaker 1: do is turn your radio loud. Huh. Get the handsets
- 10:18Speaker 1: off high huh. Cut off all that other noise in
- 10:24Speaker 1: that racket in the back. Huh huh. Hear me. That's

- 11:14Speaker 1: could really Just the melody just came into my head.
- 11:17Speaker 1: The music boom boom boom boom wow. I remember that thing.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I can't think of her name. You want to? You
- 11:28Speaker 1: want to? You want to fly to La and do
- 11:30Speaker 1: a Thursday night at the l Ray. You want to
- 11:32Speaker 1: do that? Oh? I legend it. Man. When Wednesday I
- 11:44Speaker 1: was in that man to like one one thirty and
- 11:48Speaker 1: had to be on the as Foe four. Man. Oh
- 11:52Speaker 1: we just we just went straight to the station. I
- 11:56Speaker 1: end up seen nothing like that first I stopped back in.
- 12:01Speaker 1: That's what he was, I mean, writing them on his feet.
- 12:04Speaker 1: That was That was hilarious. Yeah, that was a great,
- 12:08Speaker 1: great radio great time for sure. Do you remember the
- 12:11Speaker 1: dude at the ill raid that had on his wife's
- 12:14Speaker 1: jacket that was glittering man. You did about thirty minutes
- 12:17Speaker 1: just on that jacket. Oh my god, her name Latia
- 12:24Speaker 1: william That's Latroia Williams. Just looked it up. The thing
- 12:32Speaker 1: that girl can say, falling star. That was the cut.
- 12:37Speaker 1: That was it. That's it, Carla. I just find that
- 12:40Speaker 1: on your phone and play it for me on the
- 12:43Speaker 1: commercial break, Yes, sir, where she sometimes the really great
- 12:53Speaker 1: you know, don't even make it. The people know this
- 12:56Speaker 1: girl could flat out blow who she could? This girl
- 13:01Speaker 1: and she had a hit too. Of course I was
- 13:04Speaker 1: playing it on a hip hop station. We could actually
- 13:08Speaker 1: break music back then. Oh yeah, yes, we still do. Yes,
- 13:14Speaker 1: what was that? Excuse me? You know Morning Drive is
- 13:19Speaker 1: very different nowadays. I mean, you know, but we play hits,

- 13:34Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes apt to the hour, asked
- 13:37Speaker 1: the record breaker, himself. The cello. Steve Harvey's coming up
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, Well, guys, it's time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: to ask the clo chief love of Officeden. The cloth
- 13:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is in the building. That's what Tommy calls him.
- 13:55Speaker 1: The cloth. Towanda in New Jersey says, I'm engaged to
- 13:59Speaker 1: a man that has cheated in the past, not on me,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but on his ex wife. I'm on good terms with
- 14:04Speaker 1: his ex wife, and recently she told me that he
- 14:07Speaker 1: cheated on her three times with white women. She said
- 14:11Speaker 1: he wants a white woman but would never date or
- 14:14Speaker 1: marry one because he respects his mother. Should I be
- 14:17Speaker 1: worried that I'm going to have the same problem with
- 14:20Speaker 1: him because he has said that Kim Kardashian and Kylie
- 14:23Speaker 1: Jenner are dropped dead gorgeous. He's never even said that
- 14:27Speaker 1: about me. You know, all said that about that, but asks, well,
- 14:32Speaker 1: that's no big deal Kim and Kylie, that's what are
- 14:35Speaker 1: you talking about. Why are you talking to this other
- 14:37Speaker 1: woman his ex wife? His ex wife is telling you
- 14:42Speaker 1: damaging things about him. Wow, that don't sound crazy to you.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Why why are you even talking to this woman? Maybe
- 14:51Speaker 1: the dude like all women got that, But he never
- 14:54Speaker 1: told you he was dropped down dead gorgeous. I mean,
- 14:57Speaker 1: did you hear him say that about them? I mean
- 15:01Speaker 1: you maybe you said they drop dead gorgeous. But I
- 15:04Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. You know, if you're
- 15:07Speaker 1: worried about it, don't do it. But why are you
- 15:09Speaker 1: talking to his ex wife? Though? Wow? That don't make
- 15:14Speaker 1: no sister? She on good terms? Why why is she
- 15:17Speaker 1: on good terms with his ex wife? And why is
- 15:21Speaker 1: she on good terms with you? Always try to figure
- 15:23Speaker 1: out a person's motivation. Here, she ain't got no other
- 15:26Speaker 1: friends but you, so she got to be cool with you.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But when y'all talk about your fiance, this is what
- 15:34Speaker 1: she tell you. And the only reason he won't married
- 15:39Speaker 1: white woman to respect his mother. Okay, I mean it
- 15:43Speaker 1: sounds like he could be true, But I mean, what
- 15:45Speaker 1: you want us to do? I don't know what to
- 15:47Speaker 1: tell you. I would quit talking to your damn ex wife.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I know that that's all that's moving on. D d
- 15:57Speaker 1: and Augustus says, I took my four year old to
- 16:00Speaker 1: her to my hair appointment with me because I didn't
- 16:02Speaker 1: have anyone to keep her. The salon owner made my
- 16:05Speaker 1: child sit in the back room of the salon by herself.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I called my baby daddy's mama, and she had to
- 16:12Speaker 1: leave work to come get my daughter. She came in
- 16:15Speaker 1: going off and ended up getting into a fight with
- 16:19Speaker 1: the salon owner. I was under the dryer and I
- 16:22Speaker 1: didn't get up. My baby. Daddy and his mama are
- 16:25Speaker 1: mad at me for staying out of it. Was I
- 16:27Speaker 1: wrong for not helping her fight? Yea? A are you
- 16:31Speaker 1: kidding me? What are you kidding me? You call this
- 16:35Speaker 1: woman down now? Took off work, Steve, if you wouldn't
- 16:39Speaker 1: have did nothing but at least get up and stop
- 16:41Speaker 1: the fight. Was I wrong for not jumping in? What?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you bought the girl down there? Yo?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Ain't as her daughter? Yeah? Her daughter? Are you serious? Girl?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Daddy's mama came down there, grandma, she got grandma? Yeah? Girl?
- 17:01Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? You have called it this whole mess.
- 17:05Speaker 1: First of all, you took the baby to the salon
- 17:08Speaker 1: now after the woman got a policy about bringing your
- 17:10Speaker 1: kids because it ain't a daycare center, which the salon
- 17:13Speaker 1: is a grown folks bot. Now. I know some salons
- 17:17Speaker 1: that have daycare facilities at it, but it's just one
- 17:20Speaker 1: and I can't even tell you where it is, so
- 17:25Speaker 1: so much for that that I know, by a matter
- 17:29Speaker 1: of fact, let me just say, I think I just
- 17:31Speaker 1: made that up just now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna
- 17:36Speaker 1: just go with that right there, because I ain't got
- 17:38Speaker 1: no valid information for you. But I'm just saying, so
- 17:42Speaker 1: now you have took the baby down there, you'd have
- 17:44Speaker 1: called your mama. Now that's it. I don't I don't
- 17:48Speaker 1: know what to tell you. You should have done something,
- 17:51Speaker 1: yeah to stop it. Yeah, you're wrong, set up down
- 17:56Speaker 1: to the dry because you don't want to mess your appointment.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Though now I know you was gonna crazy when you
- 18:00Speaker 1: come out Monday that dry early that I know. I
- 18:04Speaker 1: know that that can't be my mama. Dog, you didn't
- 18:07Speaker 1: sat there and watching my mama getting a bike. That
- 18:09Speaker 1: can't do my mama? No, then she down that man
- 18:12Speaker 1: because later made the baby stay in the back. Yeah yeah,
- 18:18Speaker 1: at here the other problem how you didn't have no
- 18:20Speaker 1: problem with the baby in the back. Hello, because before
- 18:24Speaker 1: I stick my four year old baby in the back
- 18:26Speaker 1: by herself, we're not getting our hair done today. Change
- 18:29Speaker 1: your appointment if you don't schedule, if your child all
- 18:33Speaker 1: you have to do. You are dad beat mama, haven't
- 18:39Speaker 1: you hell yeah? All these years? Yeah, I don't. I
- 18:45Speaker 1: don't like that. She should have helped, for sure, stopping
- 18:49Speaker 1: something something cancer your appointment and making another day schedule. Baby. Yep,
- 18:55Speaker 1: all right, here we go. Mandrea in the Midwest says,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm in my mid thirties and I bought a house
- 19:01Speaker 1: with my sister five years ago, and when she got married,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I moved to an apartment while we sold the house.
- 19:09Speaker 1: My sister didn't move out, though she and her husband
- 19:11Speaker 1: have painted some rooms and he turned part of the
- 19:13Speaker 1: basement into his man cave. I need to sell the
- 19:16Speaker 1: house so I can buy a new home for myself.
- 19:18Speaker 1: How do I get my sister and her sorry husband
- 19:21Speaker 1: out of this house? Please advise. I must have missed
- 19:25Speaker 1: something in the letter, because you said you all sold
- 19:27Speaker 1: the house, or did you say you put it up
- 19:30Speaker 1: for sale? Well, that's basically I think what she means.
- 19:33Speaker 1: But she did say she moved into an apartment while
- 19:36Speaker 1: we sold the house, So she's saying that's what she means,
- 19:40Speaker 1: she put it up for sale. You and your sister
- 19:43Speaker 1: bought the house together, that's the problem. So she half owner,
- 19:48Speaker 1: just like you had phwner. You moved out, she didn't.
- 19:53Speaker 1: That's the sucker move. Yeah, see, that's the sucker move there.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Now if you paying your half o mortgage, you we
- 20:01Speaker 1: got another problem, right, I'm moving back in. But he'd
- 20:05Speaker 1: have made a man cave and all this here and
- 20:07Speaker 1: they got a house seemed like rooms. And because I
- 20:11Speaker 1: really don't see how you can put this woman out
- 20:13Speaker 1: and her name is on the list and she on
- 20:15Speaker 1: half the house. Yeah, I don't see no way you
- 20:18Speaker 1: can make a move. She can get bought out, right, Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: that's about the only thing. Yep, that's about it. I
- 20:26Speaker 1: don't see how you can make a move. I don't
- 20:27Speaker 1: see how I see I could get him out of
- 20:30Speaker 1: my house. But this ain't the type of show where
- 20:32Speaker 1: you can take this advice. You can the lord, right,
- 20:38Speaker 1: I get you and him about there? Thank you? Cave
- 20:42Speaker 1: be a man grave. We now coming up next, and
- 20:51Speaker 1: is the nephew would run that prank back right after this.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You're listening coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:59Speaker 1: miss An, it's standing by with today's national news and
- 21:03Speaker 1: people and entertainment news. It's a rap for Ellen Ellen
- 21:07Speaker 1: de Generes. She's calling it quits. Yeah, and the countdown, Tommy,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I know, I know you're gonna get depressed because that's
- 21:15Speaker 1: one of your girlfriends. I get. Well, you know that's
- 21:18Speaker 1: that's okay. You know, me and Ellen might wind up
- 21:20Speaker 1: on a show to gether. But that'll be fine. Lead
- 21:22Speaker 1: at you know, me and Ellen have a sitcom. It
- 21:24Speaker 1: could it could be nice. Yeah, okay, love it because
- 21:30Speaker 1: she called you I man. And the countdown is on
- 21:38Speaker 1: for the iHeart Radio Awards. We'll talk about all of
- 21:41Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour, but right
- 21:43Speaker 1: now it is the nephew in the building to bring
- 21:46Speaker 1: us some laughter, as he always does, would run that
- 21:49Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for us? Neshew? You not graduate?
- 21:54Speaker 1: That's it right there, you're not graduate. Okay, next the master. Enough,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you're not walking. Pardon, let's go get you're not graduating. Hello. Hello,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a travads place. This himble is this? Uh?
- 22:13Speaker 1: This is my name is Joseph work Over in student affairs.
- 22:17Speaker 1: How are you doing today? I'm good? How are you?
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm good? Listen, you're supposed to be um. This is
- 22:24Speaker 1: your fifth year here at the university. You're graduating and
- 22:27Speaker 1: m in the next seven eight days. Am I right? Yes,
- 22:30Speaker 1: there have of this joint. Okay, listen, I'm giving you
- 22:35Speaker 1: a call. We got a bit of a problem here
- 22:37Speaker 1: that we want to try and discuss with you, and
- 22:39Speaker 1: maybe we can get you over at Student Affairs and
- 22:41Speaker 1: come in and have a meeting with us. But we
- 22:43Speaker 1: wanted to bring it to your attention. Now. You took
- 22:46Speaker 1: a one of your last subjects was English, uh, and
- 22:50Speaker 1: you had an English exam with a You guys are
- 22:53Speaker 1: writing an essay? Am I am? I am I correct
- 22:56Speaker 1: about that? Yeah? And yeah, that's true. Okay, we got
- 23:00Speaker 1: some problems here that the professor there is actually a
- 23:03Speaker 1: signulating that you may have cheated on this on this
- 23:07Speaker 1: essay that you've actually written cheated. No, I mean, from
- 23:13Speaker 1: from what he's telling us here at Student Affairs, is
- 23:15Speaker 1: that you may have plagiarized some things that that we're
- 23:20Speaker 1: in your essay. Dude, No, I didn't. I didn't plagiarize
- 23:23Speaker 1: nothing that was in the essay. Everything is documented like
- 23:25Speaker 1: it should be. So I don't know what you're talking about,
- 23:27Speaker 1: especially cheating on no exam or no paper, nothing like that.
- 23:30Speaker 1: You must got me mixed up with somebody else. No, No, no,
- 23:33Speaker 1: not at all. You're actually mister Travan, correct. I mean
- 23:36Speaker 1: that's me. But I didn't cheat on no exam. But
- 23:39Speaker 1: that matter. Okay, well, let me let me try to
- 23:41Speaker 1: bring you up to speed here at Travan. What we're
- 23:43Speaker 1: gonna need is, we're gonna need you to actually come
- 23:45Speaker 1: in and talk to us over here at student affairs
- 23:48Speaker 1: so we can try to get this thing rectified. But
- 23:50Speaker 1: I will let you know, it's gonna take a few
- 23:53Speaker 1: more days longer than graduation. So as of right now,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you're actually not gonna be walking in grab situating with
- 24:00Speaker 1: the rest of the students. Man, dude, man, you got
- 24:03Speaker 1: me messed up. What's what you mean? I'm not gonna
- 24:05Speaker 1: be walking well until we get this situation rectified here.
- 24:09Speaker 1: You're not gonna be graduating with the rest of the
- 24:11Speaker 1: students now, dot. I don't know what y'all gotta do,
- 24:14Speaker 1: but y'all need to figure it out or find out
- 24:16Speaker 1: what the problem. Man. I ain't cheat on know exam
- 24:18Speaker 1: there you're talking about? Dude, My family is coming down here?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Are you're talking about cheating on an English exam? There?
- 24:23Speaker 1: I look like cheating on an example, And I'm getting
- 24:25Speaker 1: ready to graduate. Man, Now, y'all need to fix it,
- 24:27Speaker 1: like right now, like today while we're on the phone.
- 24:29Speaker 1: We can't do that. It's a little it's a sensitive
- 24:32Speaker 1: subject and like I said, it seems like it's plagiarism.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I mean, you know, if we can get you to
- 24:36Speaker 1: actually come over the student affairs next Wednesday? Man, you
- 24:40Speaker 1: got me? What you mean next Wednesday? Dude, I'm graduating
- 24:44Speaker 1: in a few days. Think you're talking about next wednesday? Man,
- 24:46Speaker 1: why don't my professor didn't give me a call? Why
- 24:49Speaker 1: are you calling me? Sir? This is not something that
- 24:51Speaker 1: professors actually take care of. This is a student affair
- 24:54Speaker 1: situation now, and it's a very sensitive situation. And what
- 24:57Speaker 1: we want to do is try to get this thing
- 24:58Speaker 1: taken care of. And if if what you're saying is
- 25:01Speaker 1: actually true, then you're probably graduating August. Man, Man, you
- 25:06Speaker 1: got me. I'm telling you writing that this is some
- 25:09Speaker 1: you got me, August. I'm graduating. This to me, I
- 25:13Speaker 1: to me here too long to go through some my
- 25:15Speaker 1: last few weeks of school, and you talk about August,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I ain't even right here. You even say, Man, you
- 25:22Speaker 1: didn't even time to hear what you got to say. Man,
- 25:24Speaker 1: my family is coming down here from everywhere to see
- 25:27Speaker 1: me graduate. Now, I'm my first to graduate from my family.
- 25:30Speaker 1: He's talking about some talk about my teeth on the paper,
- 25:32Speaker 1: A paper, a paper. Can you come me, man, I'm
- 25:37Speaker 1: gonna work two and three dogs to see me to
- 25:39Speaker 1: this school. And now I'm coming getting rid of to
- 25:41Speaker 1: graduate and you're talking about how to wait until August
- 25:43Speaker 1: to graduate? Man. Hell, Now, I'm on my way to
- 25:46Speaker 1: the office right now, and you can tell whever the
- 25:48Speaker 1: professor is that I'm on my way and he needs
- 25:50Speaker 1: to be there too, Sir, I can really tell you
- 25:53Speaker 1: that we can try and get this thing rectified and
- 25:55Speaker 1: earlier the next Wednesay. Man, what's your name again? And
- 25:58Speaker 1: where where's your office? Suiting the prayers? I'm Joe. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 26:02Speaker 1: So I'm about to get in my car right now
- 26:04Speaker 1: and I'm about to come over there and we're gonna
- 26:06Speaker 1: handle it today. And how are you singing to me
- 26:09Speaker 1: cheating on the exam paperman? Is that so honest? Thing?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Is the professor? There's a possibilitism here? Man, Are you
- 26:17Speaker 1: kidding me? Do I've been in five Yes, I'm the
- 26:21Speaker 1: first man to graduate from callers. Man, my grandmo is
- 26:25Speaker 1: eighty two? He is old? Is she coming in and
- 26:27Speaker 1: see me graduate? And you're telling me the somebody seeing
- 26:31Speaker 1: on the papers? And I got away till I'll get
- 26:33Speaker 1: a graduates. Man. Man, you tell the professor to come
- 26:37Speaker 1: to your office right now, because I'm already in my
- 26:39Speaker 1: car on my way to come to your office. And
- 26:41Speaker 1: we're gonna handle this today. Man, you got me. I
- 26:45Speaker 1: don't have any more room or my schedule to actually
- 26:47Speaker 1: pull anybody in today or you're gonna call me with
- 26:51Speaker 1: like this. Some my too, ain't got room in your schedule. Man.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Hell now, miss missile, whatever your name is, I'm all
- 26:57Speaker 1: my way to your office room and you I'm gonna
- 27:01Speaker 1: tell you, and I'm telling you up front it's gonna
- 27:03Speaker 1: be a problem. I ain't graduating in a few days.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You got to deal with me. You got to deal
- 27:07Speaker 1: with my family and my mama. We don't play this.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Think you got a st sir, I understand. Is there
- 27:13Speaker 1: a possibility that maybe you plagiarized and didn't know that
- 27:16Speaker 1: you did that? Man? You mean the paper was officerad
- 27:20Speaker 1: and new Sir? Can I can I can I tell
- 27:22Speaker 1: you one more thing and then and then all that
- 27:24Speaker 1: you can't tell you you're not ready to call me something.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I can't graduate with my class after I hadn't been
- 27:29Speaker 1: this for five years, the sea and sun in myself,
- 27:32Speaker 1: and you're telling me I can't graduate until August. You
- 27:35Speaker 1: ain't got to tell me. I do have one more
- 27:37Speaker 1: thing I need to tell you, and then I'll let
- 27:39Speaker 1: you be on your way. Okay, man, go ahead? Are
- 27:42Speaker 1: can I tell you what I want to tell you?
- 27:44Speaker 1: New go ahead? I'm telling you this. It was nephew
- 27:46Speaker 1: Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got
- 27:50Speaker 1: prank phone called by your best Frian Brian. What hello, Man?
- 28:05Speaker 1: Do somebody gonna playing jokes like that? Dude? Man? Do
- 28:09Speaker 1: you know how hard I five years year? Man? You
- 28:16Speaker 1: are the first black male in your family to graduate
- 28:20Speaker 1: from college. You're doing a big boy man. I know, Man,
- 28:23Speaker 1: it's been a journey. Bro, I can tell you it's
- 28:26Speaker 1: I got one more than ask your baby? What is
- 28:29Speaker 1: What is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 28:31Speaker 1: show in the land? Man, it's that Steve Harvey Morning.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I think I went a little too far, Lord, but
- 28:43Speaker 1: guess what Grandmama gonna see him? Walk. I just sent
- 28:46Speaker 1: him through something he fling. It ain't like I prank
- 28:49Speaker 1: grandmama or something. I pranked him. But you're not. You're not.
- 28:52Speaker 1: You're not above that. You will prank your grandmother. Yeah,
- 28:56Speaker 1: now if you give me his grandmama Noma. Hello, all right, well,
- 29:01Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Coming up, coming up at the top
- 29:06Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment and national news
- 29:10Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Ellen DeGeneres has announced she is ending her talk show
- 29:20Speaker 1: after nineteen seasons nineteen seasons. The sixty three year old
- 29:25Speaker 1: comedian and host informed her staff yesterday that she will
- 29:28Speaker 1: wrap the show at the end of the twenty twenty
- 29:31Speaker 1: one twenty twenty two season, and told The Hollywood Reporter,
- 29:34Speaker 1: when you're a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged,
- 29:38Speaker 1: and as great as this show is and as fun
- 29:42Speaker 1: as it is, it's just not a challenge anymore. She
- 29:45Speaker 1: adds that her decision to end the show was made
- 29:47Speaker 1: a long time ago and before she and before claims
- 29:50Speaker 1: were made about the alleged toxic work environment behind the scenes.
- 29:55Speaker 1: She says she had initially wanted to stop after season sixteen,
- 29:59Speaker 1: but was urged by affiliates to keep going. Wow, that's true. Yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 1: that's true. I've heard many conversations about Elliot Lee. That's
- 30:09Speaker 1: very true, right, right, But I would have right but
- 30:15Speaker 1: right after they started the mess about me, I said,
- 30:18Speaker 1: she ought to just leave. She got plenty money, She'll
- 30:21Speaker 1: just leave because you know, we're a councel culture, man,
- 30:24Speaker 1: and people people just come out. They was just trying
- 30:27Speaker 1: to do this woman. Man. And like I said, look,
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm old enough. I know racism. You can't fool me
- 30:33Speaker 1: with it. You can't mask it. I know what it
- 30:36Speaker 1: looks like. I know when you when it's undercurr I
- 30:39Speaker 1: know when it's under your breath. I know when you
- 30:41Speaker 1: behind my back with it. I would have been over
- 30:43Speaker 1: there many times. That ain't what that is over there,
- 30:46Speaker 1: not from her, ye, not from her. You might have
- 30:49Speaker 1: a staff member to getting a little full of theirselves
- 30:51Speaker 1: because that's your problems. Sometimes people take on, you know,
- 30:54Speaker 1: your power and used it the wrong way. That can
- 30:57Speaker 1: happen on any any stay. You can do that. But
- 31:03Speaker 1: that woman right now is one of the best people
- 31:06Speaker 1: I've ever met. Clean pepe, be kind to one another,
- 31:11Speaker 1: you know, you know, Yeah, always giving back always always,
- 31:20Speaker 1: And Steve, didn't she come to your um when you
- 31:23Speaker 1: had when you got the star on the Hollywood Walk
- 31:25Speaker 1: Up thing? Yah? Yeah, yeah I remember that. I mean,
- 31:30Speaker 1: you guys are good friend to do something like that.
- 31:32Speaker 1: She's super cool people, man. But like I'm glad she's leading.
- 31:37Speaker 1: I really am, because I really didn't appreciate the way
- 31:40Speaker 1: they tried to do her. Man. I thought that was
- 31:42Speaker 1: so uncool. And she got plenty of money, she can go,
- 31:46Speaker 1: she can go. Yeah, find another challenge, toxic now you
- 31:51Speaker 1: know that's replacing her, that's who do you know? The
- 31:58Speaker 1: hole in that schedule? Yeah, that's true. That's a big hole.
- 32:03Speaker 1: See it's a hard actor problem. Yeah. See now I
- 32:07Speaker 1: couldn't still offend now. But the blessing was in the
- 32:12Speaker 1: cancelation of that. That was truly a blessing for me
- 32:16Speaker 1: in disguise. You know, I know a lot of people
- 32:18Speaker 1: didn't see it that way, but I'm grateful of how
- 32:20Speaker 1: God operate in my life. But now they got they
- 32:23Speaker 1: got some holes in that schedule, man, because Ellen Degenerous
- 32:26Speaker 1: is a bad girl. That's the number two show. Talk
- 32:31Speaker 1: was very entertaining because it's doctor Field. And then it's
- 32:35Speaker 1: ellen back to back. You're right, yeah, right, CBS. So
- 32:42Speaker 1: I don't know what it didn't be safeing to do.
- 32:47Speaker 1: You know somebody Mama saw I heard of somebody say
- 32:51Speaker 1: one time, you can't cut your nose off and spite
- 32:53Speaker 1: your face. You can't do it. Ain't gonna work out
- 32:57Speaker 1: for you. Which It's just I'm just just going down here.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit over here on our own. He'll prepare.
- 33:10Speaker 1: We were selling footstep pass the table in the presence
- 33:16Speaker 1: of time, preach bart Okay, it's time now, let him talk,
- 33:20Speaker 1: Let him talk. Jesus name, lady and gentleman, miss and
- 33:25Speaker 1: trip the Gaza strip are quote harrowing. So he says
- 33:48Speaker 1: both sides are going to be asked to de escalate
- 33:50Speaker 1: the attacks if they can't. Over eighty pounced Indians have
- 33:53Speaker 1: been killed, some seventeen casualties reported in Israel and as predicted.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Wyoming GOP Congress from Liz Cheney was removed from her
- 34:01Speaker 1: leadership position in the Congress yesterday by fellow Republicans. She
- 34:04Speaker 1: still has her seat, but in a closed door meeting
- 34:07Speaker 1: so nobody knew who voted for what. She was removed
- 34:10Speaker 1: as conference chair all because she would not pretend that
- 34:13Speaker 1: Donald Trump is telling the truth when he claims the
- 34:15Speaker 1: presidential election was stolen. It was apparently made clear to
- 34:18Speaker 1: her that if she didn't tell the party line, she'd
- 34:21Speaker 1: be out, but she stood her ground and did not
- 34:23Speaker 1: mince words before she left. I will do everything I
- 34:27Speaker 1: can to ensure that the former president never again gets
- 34:31Speaker 1: anywhere near the Oval office. We have seen the danger
- 34:34Speaker 1: that he continues to provoke with his language. We have
- 34:38Speaker 1: seen his lack of commitment and dedication to the Constitution,
- 34:42Speaker 1: and Chaney's urging the members of her party not to
- 34:44Speaker 1: let Donald Trump quote drag them backwards. In Minnesota, the
- 34:48Speaker 1: Derek Chauvin case back in court yesterday was the subject
- 34:51Speaker 1: was his sentence for murdering George Floyd. Under that state's law,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Chavin could only be sentenced to the most serious charges
- 34:58Speaker 1: he was convicted on, which would be second to be murder,
- 35:00Speaker 1: which means he would only face a max of twelve
- 35:02Speaker 1: and a half years behind bars next month, But prosecutors
- 35:05Speaker 1: are asking the judge for a longer term, something called
- 35:08Speaker 1: an upward departure, arguing that Chauvin inflicted gratuita's pain called
- 35:13Speaker 1: psychological distress to Floyd and even bystanders. The judge already
- 35:17Speaker 1: says not only did Chauvin you abuse his authority as
- 35:19Speaker 1: a cop, but that he treated George Floyd with particular cruelty.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Prosecutors saying this seeking the death penalty for the white
- 35:25Speaker 1: man accused of killing eight people in Atlanta area massage
- 35:28Speaker 1: parlors back in March, six of them Asian women. Twenty two.
- 35:32Speaker 1: You are Robert Aaron long faces hate crime and murder chargers,
- 35:35Speaker 1: and the newest inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall
- 35:38Speaker 1: of Fame include the Foo Fighters, The Go Goes, Carol King,
- 35:41Speaker 1: Todd Rundgan, Jay Z, and Tina Turner, who of course
- 35:44Speaker 1: knows what all that means. That's right, girl. Then then
- 35:52Speaker 1: oh little rest. Now back to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You're listening to show. First, that's the asolene shortage. And
- 36:01Speaker 1: now in trending Chicken news check this out. Chick fil

- 36:26Speaker 1: we cannot run out of polynesia. Okay, Well it's happening.
- 36:31Speaker 1: No barbecue. Well, damn the gas shortage. We're focusing on
- 36:35Speaker 1: the chicken sauce. I'm very confused here, folks. All right,
- 36:42Speaker 1: you heard, you heard right. We will now be giving
- 36:47Speaker 1: out one dipping sauce per item. Okay, who don't be
- 36:52Speaker 1: going up to the window talking about can I get
- 36:54Speaker 1: three more? None. The sauce is affected include the chick
- 36:58Speaker 1: Chick fil A signature sauce. This is a Polynesian sauce,
- 37:01Speaker 1: and catch Up is a sauce too. Don't forget okay
- 37:05Speaker 1: for your fries. Come on, you can't hear no one
- 37:10Speaker 1: up all fries, last packs? What is you gonna put
- 37:14Speaker 1: them on? Six fries? Come on now, Sorry, we're just
- 37:19Speaker 1: going to the barbershop tomorrow, hustlemin gonna have plenty of them.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Got that sauce? Got that? Chick Fila said, it's good news.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Chick fil A said it's working to fix the sauce
- 37:34Speaker 1: supply problem as quickly as possible. Man, I don't really
- 37:40Speaker 1: see that as a big problem. You don't us. We
- 37:46Speaker 1: love Chick Filight in Georgia. In the next pian sauce gas,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I'm going with the sauce. What are you going to
- 38:00Speaker 1: eat while you drive. Steve right, you know, you know,
- 38:06Speaker 1: you know. When I left the set last night, I said,
- 38:08Speaker 1: I don't having a cheap meal because I just really
- 38:11Speaker 1: been going hard with this weekend thing. So I was
- 38:14Speaker 1: asking people where should I go? In the audience, I
- 38:17Speaker 1: couldn't believe how many people are going, Steve, you got
- 38:19Speaker 1: to go to public. I was a bit confused, because
- 38:22Speaker 1: you mean get out to car and go in a
- 38:25Speaker 1: grocery stove to get a sub Yes, rich Man, Yes,
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'm confused with the grocery stove making the sub sandwich
- 38:36Speaker 1: though Atlanta from LA Back in two thousand and eight,
- 38:43Speaker 1: somebody told me about the Public's chicken sand uh subway sandwich.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I got one. I didn't believe it, Steve, I didn't.
- 38:51Speaker 1: It's the bread, it's the fresh meat, the veggies, all
- 38:54Speaker 1: of that. As Justice small Lake said anything about it,
- 38:59Speaker 1: They're like actual, all right, coming up at thirty four
- 39:07Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 39:09Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:12Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, guys, here's what's going on. Travis McMichael,
- 39:18Speaker 1: Gregory McMichael, and William Bryan faced nine counts each, including
- 39:24Speaker 1: federal hate crime charters in the murder of Ahmad Arbory.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Ahmad Aubury was shot and killed back in February of
- 39:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty by Travis after his father, Gregory, confronted him
- 39:36Speaker 1: and suspected him of breaking into homes while jogging in Brunswick,
- 39:41Speaker 1: Georgia and just in an area neighborhood there. The jury
- 39:45Speaker 1: selection for the trial will begin October eighteenth. The defendants
- 39:49Speaker 1: also want Ahmad Arbory's passed encounters with law enforcement to
- 39:53Speaker 1: be introduced, but the prosecutor prosecution objected to that and
- 39:57Speaker 1: argued that it's irrelevant and it is an attempt to
- 40:00Speaker 1: smear Ahmad's name. I don't care if he's a former
- 40:08Speaker 1: gang banger. I don't care if he was out on parole.
- 40:15Speaker 1: The young man was jogging and y'all drove up and
- 40:21Speaker 1: murdered him on tape with no probable cause. He had
- 40:30Speaker 1: nothing on him that he had stolen. He wasn't running
- 40:35Speaker 1: from the scene of a crime. Nothing man, and y'all
- 40:40Speaker 1: drove up in cold blood as some damn vigilanties like
- 40:45Speaker 1: y'all got the right to kill black people who you
- 40:48Speaker 1: think was looking in the house and rob some What
- 40:52Speaker 1: did he take from that house that was under construction
- 40:57Speaker 1: that he could jog down the street with of any value? Nothing? Right? Yeah? Nothing.
- 41:06Speaker 1: You just wanted to go kill somebody, and that's what
- 41:10Speaker 1: you did. And you thought since he was black, it
- 41:14Speaker 1: was fine. And question Derek Chauvin, uh, his his attorneys
- 41:21Speaker 1: or the prosecution, I should say, they weren't allowed to
- 41:24Speaker 1: bring in his past, right, and he had a past
- 41:28Speaker 1: of his conduct as a police officer, you know, and
- 41:32Speaker 1: his treatment of black men. He had a past. They
- 41:34Speaker 1: couldn't bring that up. So why are they trying to
- 41:37Speaker 1: bring him up. Arby's passed up. He's the victim. He's deceased.
- 41:43Speaker 1: A little tim and shocked him and cold blood in
- 41:47Speaker 1: the middle street bunted him down. No, sir, like all
- 41:54Speaker 1: three don't buy by. Yeah, absolutely for a long time
- 42:01Speaker 1: and never get out ever. Even the home of the
- 42:05Speaker 1: trial video tapes of other people going out to the
- 42:08Speaker 1: house looking in the house. Well, family, it wasn't a problem.
- 42:13Speaker 1: There you go, junior, there no problem then yeah, but
- 42:18Speaker 1: again the trial will be began October eighteenth. Yeah, this, this,
- 42:24Speaker 1: this story is so heartbreak. That's a long way, isn't it.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Nine counts, including federal hate crime. They're still in Look,
- 42:36Speaker 1: listen to me, this is not going to end this
- 42:39Speaker 1: type of attacks on black people. But it's there's a
- 42:43Speaker 1: turn being made. It's starting to be. It's gonna start
- 42:45Speaker 1: being some consequences. It's gonna start to be so constou
- 42:49Speaker 1: to be it has to be. And we saw that
- 42:53Speaker 1: with the jury that got it right in the Derek
- 42:56Speaker 1: Chauvin case. They got it right. Convicted on tim guilty. Yes,
- 43:03Speaker 1: now he's trying to get out, well, technicality, no no, no, no,
- 43:09Speaker 1: no, no no, no no, it ain't no technicality for your ass.
- 43:12Speaker 1: No no, it ain't no missed trial. I don't even
- 43:13Speaker 1: damn what did jurors said? That? Don't mean all the
- 43:16Speaker 1: jurors said all that. After the damn verdict was over,
- 43:19Speaker 1: they ask the prison partner, right, ain't no technicality. You
- 43:23Speaker 1: can't get out of pre can't you can't get off
- 43:25Speaker 1: with murder on a technicality? After a juror said something
- 43:30Speaker 1: after he got off the trial too late, partner worried
- 43:34Speaker 1: about the trial. You used to hear some other language.
- 43:36Speaker 1: They didn't bring up. Everybody who's gonna put their foot
- 43:38Speaker 1: on your neck, you need to worry about you get
- 43:42Speaker 1: used to some phrases that he needs to be started
- 43:43Speaker 1: here rollo sex. You used to hear that that me
- 43:46Speaker 1: need to blow that door, lights out? Stuff, used to
- 43:52Speaker 1: don't All right, guys, coming up, we're gonna switch gears.

- 56:32Speaker 1: Our nanny takes care of everyone, Okay. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I'm a thirty three year old married woman and my
- 56:39Speaker 1: husband and I had our first child six months ago.
- 56:42Speaker 1: My husband is a musician and he's back to traveling
- 56:45Speaker 1: a lot, so he suggested that we hire a nanny.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I welcome the help, and when my son was two
- 56:51Speaker 1: weeks old, we hired a twenty six year old girl
- 56:54Speaker 1: that had just moved to the US from Belize. She
- 56:57Speaker 1: is beautiful inside and out and she has a big family,
- 57:02Speaker 1: so she's been helping raising children since she was twelve
- 57:05Speaker 1: years old. She came to the house daily from seven
- 57:08Speaker 1: am until four pm, and she taught me a lot
- 57:11Speaker 1: about parenting. When I returned to work, I asked her
- 57:14Speaker 1: to move in and she agreed. She cooked, cleaned, ran
- 57:19Speaker 1: errands for us, and our son loved her. As time
- 57:22Speaker 1: went on, I loved coming home having her there so
- 57:26Speaker 1: I could vent about my day. She would rub my feet,
- 57:29Speaker 1: or massage my shoulders or gently rub my scalp if
- 57:33Speaker 1: I had had a rough day and I got caught
- 57:35Speaker 1: up one day and gave her a prolonged hug and
- 57:39Speaker 1: she kissed me. That's how it started, and you can
- 57:44Speaker 1: guess how it ended. It's been going on for weeks
- 57:48Speaker 1: and my husband is home. I'm sure he can sense
- 57:51Speaker 1: how touchy feely we are, but he's never said anything.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Dot dot dot, And now I know why. I walked
- 58:00Speaker 1: into our ident a few days ago and the nanny
- 58:03Speaker 1: was sitting on my husband's lap, straddling him, and his
- 58:06Speaker 1: mouth was all over her chest. I stood and watched
- 58:10Speaker 1: them because it turned me on. He eventually saw me
- 58:14Speaker 1: there and he motioned for me to join them. There
- 58:18Speaker 1: was a whole lot of kissing and caressing, but that's it.
- 58:23Speaker 1: My husband and I haven't mentioned that day. I'm sure
- 58:26Speaker 1: he's going to go all the way with her if
- 58:29Speaker 1: he hasn't already. Should I bring it up to my husband?
- 58:32Speaker 1: And what about her? Should we keep her? But set
- 58:35Speaker 1: some house rules. You're you're working backwards, aren't you, Wifie.
- 58:43Speaker 1: You're working backwards right now. It's a little late to
- 58:45Speaker 1: be setting boundaries. And stuff right now. Obviously you are
- 58:50Speaker 1: smitten with this young woman, and so is your husband.
- 58:53Speaker 1: And rule number one, when you need a nanny and
- 58:56Speaker 1: that sort of thing, it's never to bring that kind
- 58:59Speaker 1: of temptation into your house. Is just never a good thing.
- 59:03Speaker 1: It doesn't end well. You've seen the movies and all
- 59:07Speaker 1: of that. She's a beautiful inside and out and is
- 59:09Speaker 1: quite efficient in her job. You were able to relax
- 59:13Speaker 1: and get rid of some of the stress from all
- 59:15Speaker 1: you have been through after having a baby and getting
- 59:18Speaker 1: back to work. And although we all should exercise self
- 59:21Speaker 1: control in these type situations, we're human. We can get
- 59:24Speaker 1: caught up like you guys did. The nanny getting with
- 59:26Speaker 1: your husband even turned you on. You said so much
- 59:29Speaker 1: so that you joined in. And I know you and
- 59:31Speaker 1: your husband haven't spoken since, but you're gonna have to
- 59:34Speaker 1: settle this. You got to speak. I think the thing
- 59:36Speaker 1: that scares you the most is that you don't trust
- 59:39Speaker 1: your husband is gonna stop with her. You didn't even
- 59:44Speaker 1: know that we're doing it. That was a surprise to
- 59:46Speaker 1: you and there's no guarantee that that won't happen again.
- 59:48Speaker 1: So based on all of that, I think it's best
- 59:50Speaker 1: that the beautiful nanny goes. So you guys can get
- 59:53Speaker 1: your marriage back on track and the next time, if
- 59:56Speaker 1: there is a next time, get a misdoubt fire type. Okay,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: so you and your husband will not be tempted to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: have sex with her. Steve, Yeah, we'll come back. Our
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: nanny takes care of Everyone is the title of today's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: strawberry letter. We'll be back at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: with Steve's response right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: come on, Steve, look's recap today's Strawberry letter. That's subject
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Our nanny takes care of Everyone. Well, I didn't get
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: a chance to response earlier, so I don't have to
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: do a recap. I'm gonna read the letter and tell
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you my thoughts as I go read it. Let's go. Yeah,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: this is me reading the letter having never heard it.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Here my thoughts as we go. Stephen Sherl. I'm a
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: thirty three year old man woman. My husband. I had
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a first child six months ago. My husband is a musician.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: He's back to traveling a lot, so he suggested we
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: hired nanny. I welcome to help, and when my son
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: was two weeks old, we hired a twenty six year
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: old girl had it just moved to the US from Belize.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: She's beautifu for inside and out. She has a big family,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: so she's been helping raise children since she was twelve
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: years old. Okay, she's twenty six, beautiful inside and out.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Bad idea, You ain't but thirty three. You ain't but
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: thirty three. You didn't hide a fine chick to work
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: in your house and she twenty six. Bad idea. When
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I returned, she came to the house daily from seven
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to fourth and she taught me a lot about penndy.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: When I returned to work, I asked her to move in,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and she agreed. Another bad idea. You didn't ask the
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: bad chick to move into your house. She could clean
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: ranns and her son. The son loved the time went on.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I loved coming home having her there, so I convent
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: about my day. Oh you got somebody talk to Oh
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: that's She would rub my feet, the massage my shoulders,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: gently rubbed my scalp if I had a rough day,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: all right, now, I got caught up one day and
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: gave her a prolonged hugging. Here she kissed me dead
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: in my mouth and my mouth was open, so I
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: kissed top back and we just had just tongues all
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: over the place. That's how I started. And you can
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: guess how it is. No, I can't guess, but go ahead.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: You could have told. And I've been going on for
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: really Yeah, it's been going on for weeks. And with
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: my husband home, I'm sure he can see how touchy
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: feel it we are. Oh, I know he can't see
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: your husband ain't stupid. But I got news for you.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You didn't have to know because I bet he told.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I bet she told her because this HIGHMU take you.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: But she's never but but he's never said anything. Are
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: you just buying this time? And now I know why.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I walked into I Din a few days ago and
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: the nanny was sitting on my husband's lap, strattening him,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and his mouth was all over her chest. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: mouth all over her chest? What you mean by that?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: While she was strattling him. I'm trying. I can't get
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that visual out of my head. Right. Yeah, I stood
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: and watched him because it turned me on, and I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: hit the part where it got crazy. He eventually saw
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: me there and he motioned for me to join them. Well,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: that was a whole lot of kissing the carressing, But
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: that's it. There's a whole lot of kissing and carressing,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: but that was it. My husband and I haven't mentioned
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: that day. Why hell, you was both down. I don't
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I don't understand what you got to bring it up for.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: He we ain't mentioned that day because you was both down. See,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: but you're stupid because he's waiting to see if you
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: want to bring it up to do it again. But
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: just like you walked in on him with him stratgy,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: you think that's it? Girl, I'm sure he's going to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: go all the way with her if he hasn't already.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Should I bring it up to my husband? Should you
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: bring it up? Hell? He already up all the way up,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: you know, all the way up. Let me get it again.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Should you bring it up? Hell? He already up? Wink wink?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: And what about her? Should we keep her? You know,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you've got the kindest reply to walking in on a
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: woman stratton in your husband that I've ever seen. But
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: since it turned you on, let's just admit a couple
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: of things. Should we keep her? Well, it sounds like
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you want to because you like the foot rubs, the massages,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: the neck rubs, the scouts and the foot massages and
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: the kissing, and y'all that went all the way. So
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: you don't want her to go. So now y'all have
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: a threesome at y'all's house. Y'all have what's called an
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: open manage. She didn't know it. I don't really know
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: what you want us to do. Should we keep her? Yes? Yes,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: sound like it's not about you. Seem like everybody happy.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: It seemed like everybody happened. She happy, he happy, The
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: nanny happened at bay be happy. There's one big happy
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: ass ragglar As family here. Y're keeper and the baby happy,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Dawn baby happy. You said the baby love your husband,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: love her, and you love her, and she loved everybody.

- 1:06:58Speaker 1: When you heard that jack A Loo and Ben affleck
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: A got back together. I know you were scared about
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: that because you thought maybe I had went back to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: somebody in my past. But that's not what happened. Every
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: man in my life Tommy has all signed petitions to
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: say that me and Junior love is too strong for
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: them to challenge and we will never, ever, ever ever
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: get back together again with anybody ever ever. So Junior,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you have nothing to worry about that I would go
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: to Montana, Wyoming, you talk any place like that and
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: get back with somebody that I used to be with.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: But I know you was worried about it. So I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: just wanted to assuage your fear that that will happen,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: because it's not. What's Chary describe ages? What's that? What

- 1:07:58Speaker 1: but sometimes you don't sound like you do. Shelley Scrabberries, Well,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: that's on you, not on me. That's your ears. Why
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I do be questioning? Are you sincere about being my
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: maid of honor when I asked you? Yes I am.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I'm here for Ityl. Yes, she's married. Steve. I don't
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: know why you playing. It's gonna be at your house.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Why do you playing? And you cater rent I don't understand, Carlis.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I thought you hooked it all up. Hey, I can't
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: hook up a wedding at this man's house. I gave
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: you seven hundred and fifty dollars. You're supposed to be
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: hooking up a wedding deposit. Yes, yes, it's a wedding
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: and the reception and at the set with all the
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: food and the girl. I'm gonna need all my money
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: back if you okay, but get okay, get on it.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: At Junior Junior, I will be wearing white because don't
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: nobody know none about my business. If so, you will
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: be saluting to bribe. We will be living happily ever
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: after at Steve Harvey house. You might as well get
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: ready Tommy. Tommy, you will be the usher and you
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: will be presiding at the same time. Yes, all right, Cheryl,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: we can't wait till this all jumps offer right, thank you.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, it's Carla's
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: reality update right after this. You're listening, all right, Tommy
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: come on and introduced Kyla. Please, ladies and gentlemen, it's
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: that time, the one and only call a Ferrell with
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: what reality update? Thank you? That coming in hot? Like
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: take so long with the coveted et do she always
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: lewis hot? All right, yeah, it's hot, it's hot. Let's
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: talk about it. We talked about it yesterday Porsha Williams again,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: she is still trending. So now, as you know, um
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Porsi got engaged recently to a guy named Simon, who's
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: an ex husband Fallon on the show, who was a
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: friend on the show. That's what we saw. That's what
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: they presented to us as viewers. Well, Portia is saying
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: that she and Fallon were not friends and that well,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: this is the thing. She said, they literally met the
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: day that they started filming together, and that the producers,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the producers told them to act as if they've known
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: each other despite how it appeared on TV. So there
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you have it. If you met her that day, then
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: you met her hood in that same day too. They
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Oh he was there, he was there, Junior, he was
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: there on TV in the scene and you still was
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: swimming over their pool party. I still say, twist my
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: girlfriend cold. I still this is money right right. So
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: that is part two of this whole Porsche Williams drama.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: And now she's engaged to this guy Simon who was
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: bowing sex husband so soon to be ex husband. So
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: there you go. Let's move on to married to medicine.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Doctor Contessa revealed that she tested positive for COVID on
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the show. So with that being said, she said, it's
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: a risk being a doctor and a healthcare professional. You
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: know it can happen. Sure, absolutely, So all the doctors
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: and the spouses on the show, they had to quarantine
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: because you know, they've been all hanging out, they've been
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: traveling together. So everyone on the show, the cast, their families,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: spouse this, they all quarantine. After quarantine, Doctor Jackie Monica
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: she decided she was gonna host a get together for
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: the ladies and to talk about self love and getting
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: you know, getting back to getting their groove back, so
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: to speak. You know, doctor Jackie will go there sometimes. Well,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: she had a special guest, being a porn star. Huh yeah,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I'm up now, come on, I'm all the way up.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: So the porn star was there at this get together
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: and she talked to them about those sex lives. Okay, okay, quiet, yeah,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out who house is that now,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Doctor Jackies. This is doctor Jackie said she had a
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: little outside get together about self love and the porn star.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: She did a little no, she did a contest, Tommy,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: where is the video? She did a contest, and she
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: asked the ladies, the doctors and the wives to kind
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: of rate their sex life and they had to give,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: you know, in a scale I guess from one to ten,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: so to speak. And she had various sex toys, toys
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: and prizes to give to the women. So it was
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: a what kind of sex towards? Carl Quick running over store?
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: What kind of sex toards was? I don't know if
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I can say all that all morning radio time. What
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: did they all? Gods and dadgets and toys. Let's just
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: go with that. Let's go with that. So moving on
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: from the part at the party, Anila and Toya they're
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: kind of beef and and Annila is mad at Toya
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: because she's been talking about her behind her back to
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: the little group, the tennis group, the suburban tennis group.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: And Aniela has a point, Toya. You know she played
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: on that running her mouth behind her back or even
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: front of her about the whole makeup artist stuff. Toya
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: had a point, But it was when she did it
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: and how she did it. Was we arguing while we're
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: in the middle of a party. It all went down there.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: It actually did hit me up at Love Spark Carla,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: and we'll talk more about the reality update. What you guys, Shirley.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: All right, more of today's trending stories on the Steve

- 1:16:16Speaker 1: after right after this, you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: here's what's going on. Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael, and William
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Brian faced nine counts each, including federal hate crime charters,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: in the murder of Ahmad Arbury. Ahmad Aarbury was shot
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: and killed back in February of twenty twenty by Travis
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: after his father, Gregory, confronted him and suspected him of
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: breaking into homes while jogging in Brunswick, Georgia and just
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: in an area neighborhood there. The jury selection for the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: trial will begin October eighteenth. The defendants also want Ahmad
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Arbury's past encounters with law enforcement to be introduced, but
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: the prosecutor prosecution objected to that and argued that it's
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: irrelevant and it is an attempt to smear Ahmad's name.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I don't care if he's a former gang banger. I
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: don't care if he was out on parole. The young
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: man was jogging and y'all drove up and murdered him
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: on tape with no probable cause. He had nothing on
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: him that he had stolen. He wasn't running from the
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: scene of a crime. Nothing man, and y'all drove up
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: in cold blood as some damn vigilanties like y'all got
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: the right to kill black people who you think was
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: looking in the house and rob some What did he
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: take from that house that was under construction that he
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: could jog down the street with of any value? Nothing? Right? Yeah? Nothing?
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: You just wanted to go kill somebody, and that's what
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you did. And you thought since he was black, it
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: was fine. And question Derek Chauvin, uh, his his attorneys
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: or the prosecution, I should say, they weren't allowed to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: bring in his past, right, and he had a past
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: misconduct as a police officer, you know, and his treatment
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: of black men. He had a past. They couldn't bring
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: that up. So why are they trying to bring him up.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Arby's passed up. He's the victim. He's deceased, a little
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: tim and he stocked him and called blood in the
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: middle street and blunted him down. No, sir, unless yeah,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: all three don't bye bye yeah, absolute for a long
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: time and never get out ever. Even the whole of
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the trial, video tapes of other people going out to
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: the house, looking in the house. Family, it wasn't a problem.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: There you go, junior. But again, the trial will be
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: began October eighteenth. Yeah, this, this, this story is so heartbreak.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: That's a long way, isn't it. Nine counts? Yeah, coming up.
