- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve ha listen to mo together for study. I don't
- 0:38Speaker 1: join join with me. You gotta turn, you gotta turn turn, turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out, then turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back at it. Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will come on and everybody you are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now one and on it.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, okay, here we go.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You know what's important, what can be a huge part
- 2:21Speaker 1: of your success is if you if you find a balance,
- 2:28Speaker 1: if you find a balance in your life. That's that's
- 2:32Speaker 1: been very important for me. And I've really never phrased
- 2:36Speaker 1: it this way until now, but I was kind of
- 2:39Speaker 1: thinking about it after my wife and I mean we
- 2:41Speaker 1: set up one night recently, man for hours. When I
- 2:45Speaker 1: tell you, we talked for hours, not listen. The conversation
- 2:50Speaker 1: started as an argument, Well, it started as a conversation
- 2:54Speaker 1: that turned into an argument that turned into a therapeutic conversation.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You know, we just had one of them, and it
- 3:03Speaker 1: was ours. But but my wife and I we have
- 3:05Speaker 1: a very unique way. Uh. If one of us starts
- 3:09Speaker 1: to raise our voice, the other one just says, hey, okay,
- 3:13Speaker 1: now we're not gonna accomplish anything like that, so so
- 3:17Speaker 1: we go okay, okay. Then that's usually me because you know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: a man, the one anger that we that we gravitate
- 3:25Speaker 1: too quickly more than the other ones. Instead of their loving, caring,
- 3:30Speaker 1: sharing anger, we can we see see me and know
- 3:32Speaker 1: how to deal with anger really well because we know
- 3:35Speaker 1: what it means. I'm mad nowede what I am out
- 3:38Speaker 1: of all of that, What I what I really learned
- 3:40Speaker 1: was you gotta find a balance in your life. You know,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I often come on here and this is kind of
- 3:46Speaker 1: an inspirational moment of the show, and I try to
- 3:49Speaker 1: remind people about that most important relationship between you and God.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And that's that's the apex of it. That's that's the
- 3:57Speaker 1: that's the top of the crown. You gotta form the
- 4:00Speaker 1: relationship with God. If you don't, everything else struggles. It's
- 4:04Speaker 1: hard to be a good husband without God. It's hard
- 4:06Speaker 1: to be a good family man without God. It's hard
- 4:09Speaker 1: to be successful without God. Man, it's hard to be
- 4:12Speaker 1: hard to get through this thing called life without God.
- 4:14Speaker 1: So that's clear. But at the same time, you can't
- 4:20Speaker 1: talk about God twenty four seven. You got to go
- 4:23Speaker 1: to work. Come on, man, let's just be real. I
- 4:25Speaker 1: ain't I ain't your past, and I ain't at your church.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But let's just be real about it. You know, if
- 4:31Speaker 1: people tell you got to keep your mind stayed on
- 4:33Speaker 1: Him and all like that, that's that's a true statement.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Got to keep your mind stayed in that area. I
- 4:38Speaker 1: don't not here to tell you how to live, but
- 4:39Speaker 1: you got to keep your mind stayed in that area
- 4:41Speaker 1: of God, of doing the right thing, caring about people.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's what I took it as. Now I could be wrong.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I apologize if I'm not saying that the way you've
- 4:49Speaker 1: been taught, I can only do me now. But after that,
- 4:53Speaker 1: you got to go to work. You got to have
- 4:55Speaker 1: some fun. You gotta take care of your business. And
- 4:59Speaker 1: that's to balance. You have to find so it. Once
- 5:04Speaker 1: you focus on shooing up your relationship with God, you
- 5:08Speaker 1: got you gotta balance this now. Now you got to
- 5:13Speaker 1: allocate some time. I don't care who you are, for
- 5:15Speaker 1: your family. If you're gonna have a family, you got
- 5:19Speaker 1: to allocate some time for them. See, we can't just
- 5:22Speaker 1: marry these women or make these kids and then neglect
- 5:26Speaker 1: them and fellas, especially if I'm talking to me and
- 5:30Speaker 1: out him. Ladies you can listen to, but listen. If
- 5:33Speaker 1: you find yourself struggling in your life, man, and you
- 5:35Speaker 1: can't seem to get it together, Let's just go over
- 5:38Speaker 1: a couple of things. The first two things. If you
- 5:41Speaker 1: find yourself struggling you can't seem to pull it together
- 5:43Speaker 1: and reach your goals and get to where you want
- 5:45Speaker 1: to go. Let's let's just do a check how is
- 5:50Speaker 1: your relationship with God? And then next how much time
- 5:55Speaker 1: are you taking to allocate for your family? Now, family
- 6:00Speaker 1: don't always live in your house, but if you made them,
- 6:04Speaker 1: they yours and the responsibility to them is never lessen
- 6:08Speaker 1: because you don't stay that no more. Because you and
- 6:11Speaker 1: the girl broke up, you and the woman don't speak
- 6:14Speaker 1: a man that don't ever release you from the obligation.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Feel me when I'm telling you this now, because I'm
- 6:21Speaker 1: not telling you something I'm wondering about. I've had to
- 6:24Speaker 1: live through them years. So two things you can start
- 6:27Speaker 1: looking at if you're not where you want to be
- 6:29Speaker 1: and you ain't. You ain't really solid. You can't figure
- 6:32Speaker 1: out why you keep spending your wills. Have you just
- 6:34Speaker 1: done a random inventory? Man? Have you just checked on
- 6:37Speaker 1: your relationship with God? Have you checked on the time
- 6:40Speaker 1: you spending dedicated towards your family, your children that you've created?
- 6:44Speaker 1: If them two things is out of saint man, that
- 6:47Speaker 1: I can tell you right now, you can go on
- 6:49Speaker 1: and get to explain in yourself away just like that,
- 6:53Speaker 1: a man, how come you ain't where you want to be?
- 6:54Speaker 1: Mancus man, I really ain't. Well, if you really ain't,
- 6:58Speaker 1: then you really ain't. The third thing is you got
- 7:02Speaker 1: to allocate the necessary time for your business. You got
- 7:06Speaker 1: to handle your business. All of this, man, is the
- 7:12Speaker 1: way it works, and the order, the order is God first,
- 7:20Speaker 1: family second. Then you got to handle all your business.
- 7:25Speaker 1: But as men, And this is what we do. If
- 7:28Speaker 1: I don't handle my business, I can't take care of
- 7:31Speaker 1: my family, true statement. But if your business is in
- 7:35Speaker 1: front of your family, you out of order. Nah. That's
- 7:38Speaker 1: all we're talking about now, ain't it. See that's that's
- 7:40Speaker 1: all we really saying here now, fellas you know you know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, come on, man, you know let's
- 7:46Speaker 1: let's have a real conversation about being better. You know,
- 7:49Speaker 1: if you have created these children, you got to handle
- 7:51Speaker 1: your business. You may not like the girl no more.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You and the woman might have broken up, y'all might
- 7:56Speaker 1: go your own way. But what that got to do
- 7:58Speaker 1: with the child though, Man out to handle your business.
- 8:01Speaker 1: They got to know who daddy is. That's your obligation, man,
- 8:04Speaker 1: And God ain't letting you off the hook for that.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Try it. Go ahead and try it, and thank you.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Gonna get off the hook with that, because you're not man,
- 8:12Speaker 1: You just not. I'm sorry, man, dog Steve, why are
- 8:17Speaker 1: you coming like that? Because I did it like that.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I did it, man. I was over here trying to
- 8:23Speaker 1: reshape my life, getting myself up on my feet when
- 8:25Speaker 1: I was a homeless man and trying to come back. Man,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I thought I had to take care of me first
- 8:30Speaker 1: and then so I can neglect it care about them kids. Man,
- 8:33Speaker 1: That ain't high work. Man. God kept us knee on
- 8:36Speaker 1: my neck for a long time for that one right there,
- 8:38Speaker 1: until I finally learned the lesson hold up man, put
- 8:42Speaker 1: these phone calls in, go spend some time, do something.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And then it started turning around for me. You know,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I can't beat there all the time because I am
- 8:51Speaker 1: out here on the ground in the hustle. But at
- 8:53Speaker 1: the same time, man, some more phone calls, some more letters, smohaha,
- 8:57Speaker 1: he he's something. Then take care of your business. Man.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You got to work hard to be successful. You know.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Sometimes I don't put that in there. I just living
- 9:08Speaker 1: and I expect my sons to emulate that. But I
- 9:11Speaker 1: gotta talk to him all the time. How hard you
- 9:13Speaker 1: got to work to be something. It's an all out
- 9:17Speaker 1: of salt on it. Man. If you gotta target in mind,
- 9:19Speaker 1: you gotta go. You gotta wake up every day trying
- 9:22Speaker 1: to get there, and you can't get tired of it
- 9:26Speaker 1: because it's it's it never ends. You're gonna always be
- 9:30Speaker 1: this way. That's how life is designed and set up.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You got to be a hard worker. Man. If you're
- 9:36Speaker 1: always looking for some time to chill, and man, I
- 9:39Speaker 1: wanta go do what I want to do, you ain't
- 9:41Speaker 1: gonna make it. In order to be successful, you have
- 9:44Speaker 1: to do a series of things that you're uncomfortable doing,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and work is the thing that most of us are
- 9:50Speaker 1: uncomfortable doing. It's so much easier to chill, man, I
- 9:54Speaker 1: wish I could kick back with a cigar man all
- 9:57Speaker 1: the time, but I can't, man, and I can't because
- 10:03Speaker 1: I got to work. Then the last piece of the
- 10:09Speaker 1: balance balance piece is you gotta take some time out
- 10:12Speaker 1: to enjoy yourself. But if you ain't where you want
- 10:16Speaker 1: to be, you ain't got a lot of time to
- 10:19Speaker 1: enjoy yourself. Quit thinking, man, that this balance is even.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It's a whole lot of God, a whole lot of family,
- 10:27Speaker 1: a whole lot of business, and a little bit of chilling.
- 10:31Speaker 1: The chilling can't be equal to the family, the business,
- 10:35Speaker 1: or your God. If the chilling is equal to any
- 10:38Speaker 1: of them, you ain't gonna make it. Quit chilling, man,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and go to work like a man. Do what you
- 10:44Speaker 1: post to do. Work on your family, work on your relationship,
- 10:48Speaker 1: work on your God, work on your business. And then
- 10:50Speaker 1: when you chill, you might not chill is long, but
- 10:53Speaker 1: you show gonna chill bigger. You're gonna ball bigger. Baby.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen are undivided, all of it.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Full house. Yeah, Hutley Strawberry, Good morning, Colin Farrell, Good morning,
- 11:13Speaker 1: what's up? Steve Junior morning? Uh? That damn Jaffony Brown
- 11:18Speaker 1: like I never left, but I'm back. What what and
- 11:23Speaker 1: the food your so and the building that's more like
- 11:30Speaker 1: the Tommy we know right there, team Tommy, baby baby,
- 11:35Speaker 1: my partner crying back up in here. You hear me
- 11:38Speaker 1: here here, here, here? What is disloyal yourself? Though, however
- 11:42Speaker 1: you do it is good here here. That's my partner.
- 11:46Speaker 1: He lived here. That ain't what he was saying. Why
- 11:51Speaker 1: he was missing? What? Oh man? How much? How he
- 11:58Speaker 1: enjoyed all the extra time to tell you know how?
- 12:02Speaker 1: You know, yesterday's show was outstanding. They trying to break
- 12:07Speaker 1: us up and I'm but we're glad. Yeah, welcome back.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I went. I really though I was a sad occasion.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I went to a funeral. Two of my friends committed suicide.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Real time. Yeah, they got married. Seriously, I'm joking. Ye,
- 12:31Speaker 1: that's too much. I ain't worried about it all. I
- 12:34Speaker 1: was gonna ask the wards day together? No, really, you
- 12:39Speaker 1: knew immediately. I knew, right, I was gonna my next
- 12:42Speaker 1: question was was day together? Really? Jay? Congratulations? House and Karen?
- 12:49Speaker 1: That was a that was a was It's the best
- 12:53Speaker 1: way I've ever been to my life. Really? Wait wait
- 12:56Speaker 1: wait House got married? Yeah, House gott who House got
- 13:03Speaker 1: married again? Yeah? House got married? So Jay, did it?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Did it make you feel like you wanted to jump
- 13:09Speaker 1: the broom? No? It wasn't that. Damn good on. Hold on,
- 13:12Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on. You ain't talking about house. Yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 1: my buddy, house dog, Randy great house. Yeah. Man to
- 13:21Speaker 1: the show? Yeah, well house on fire heartbeats? No, no, no, no,
- 13:29Speaker 1: he been over to? What show he came over to?
- 13:33Speaker 1: You're sitting in the audience, Yeah, oh no, no, I
- 13:36Speaker 1: ain't that house the house I used to play golf with.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no no, oh no, no oh, That's
- 13:40Speaker 1: what I'm thinking about. I was thinking about in a
- 13:44Speaker 1: long time. Yeah, that's what I'm wedding. Yeah. And I
- 13:47Speaker 1: ate some chicken. Oh, that's right back. You're vegan, die man,
- 13:52Speaker 1: you back, Jake? I was that chicken though, Jake? You
- 13:55Speaker 1: were crazy? How was that chicken? I ate chicken? It
- 13:59Speaker 1: was time? Me was so damned when you whisper. It
- 14:07Speaker 1: was like a left long lost friend. I know exactly
- 14:15Speaker 1: what you tell about the skin and all everything book.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Didn't you say, Steve, you're vegan until your next uh?
- 14:28Speaker 1: But you can't me vegan down south? It don't even
- 14:31Speaker 1: make sense to go down there with debt. All right, well,
- 14:34Speaker 1: we'll come back with something funny. We're gonna play a
- 14:37Speaker 1: little comedy roulette since Jay is back. We'll be back
- 14:40Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to Steve Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 14:48Speaker 1: of the hour. Our special guests will be former President
- 14:51Speaker 1: Obama and White House advisor Valerie Jared. We're going to
- 14:54Speaker 1: talk to Miss Jared about her brand new book, Finding
- 14:57Speaker 1: My Voice, My Journey to the West Wing, and the
- 15:00Speaker 1: Path Forward. But right now it is time for something funny. Jay,
- 15:05Speaker 1: please Stephan comedy Baby. Since we have four comedians on
- 15:09Speaker 1: this show, Junior's comedian, Time is a comedian, I'm a comedian,
- 15:14Speaker 1: Steve's a comedian. And what we do is we take
- 15:17Speaker 1: four subjects, we put them on the wheel. We spun
- 15:20Speaker 1: the wheel where it stops. We can make it funny
- 15:23Speaker 1: because we're all comedians. Junior is a comedian, Tommy is
- 15:26Speaker 1: a comedian, I'm a comedian. Comedian stupid, and so we
- 15:30Speaker 1: can make it funny. And the reason we can make
- 15:32Speaker 1: it funny is because Junior is a comedian, I'm a comedian.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Tim is a comedian, and Steve Harvey nerves Jay, you
- 15:43Speaker 1: can start. Let me give you the category. Steve, You're
- 15:52Speaker 1: about to be in a long conversation when dot dot
- 15:56Speaker 1: dot stuff. You say to people who having an ugly
- 16:00Speaker 1: Easter outfit, Well, Easter's coming up this Sunday. What food
- 16:06Speaker 1: you can eat? Hot or cold? And something you wore
- 16:09Speaker 1: to school and hated? Oh? Sun, well it better be funny. Man?
- 16:24Speaker 1: Whoa it stopped on? Stuff? You say to people who
- 16:27Speaker 1: having an ugly Easter outfit? Easter? Oh my god, you

- 16:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to church Sunday. I'm having to tell
- 16:52Speaker 1: somebody I can't see you get into heaven with that.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I don't see how you gonna get in. How is comedian?
- 17:00Speaker 1: I don't. I don't see how that's gonna get I
- 17:06Speaker 1: gotta hear them with it like this. Whoa man? Let
- 17:10Speaker 1: me tell you some boy? Whoa you got blind? People
- 17:14Speaker 1: feeling good? Right now? You? Who? Yeah? Tommy's a comedian? Hey, dog,
- 17:22Speaker 1: let mess something that coming in the other color, because
- 17:35Speaker 1: now that's a lot of lime. Yeah. Stuff you say
- 17:47Speaker 1: to people who have over an ugly Eastern outfit? Hey man,
- 17:51Speaker 1: your skinned tone and your suit there's supposed to mash.
- 17:57Speaker 1: It's not people wearing ugly outfits doing Eastern time. Man,
- 18:05Speaker 1: do you know that color ain't nowhere in the color box?
- 18:11Speaker 1: That right, that ain't nowhere in there. I thought I
- 18:14Speaker 1: knew every color. That ain't the time. Oh man. I
- 18:21Speaker 1: like how you mentioned up short with a cape. How
- 18:24Speaker 1: do you do that? Rocking it? Mane my man, I
- 18:35Speaker 1: guess the easter bunning necking hum stuff? You say the

- 19:05Speaker 1: let me tell you something that will make Jesus come
- 19:08Speaker 1: down off that cross right there by that right down
- 19:10Speaker 1: that right now? He might make him come on down.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, man, you used all the fabric. Huh,
- 19:18Speaker 1: you didn't throw none of it away? Come one, look
- 19:26Speaker 1: over there, look over down. Welcome that back room right there.

- 21:00Speaker 1: garments that don't that sabord don't make you itch because
- 21:07Speaker 1: it's making me grisp. Burlough, you say to people who

- 23:22Speaker 1: stuffcom there. Well, congratulations to you. Listen. I don't know
- 23:26Speaker 1: how to tell you this now, as far as your
- 23:28Speaker 1: praiser lists concern, I've looked at your ring over and
- 23:31Speaker 1: over and this ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Excuse me, I've I've been I've been in this business
- 23:41Speaker 1: for over twenty years. But you know what, I'm confused
- 23:43Speaker 1: on what you just seeing. And I understand that what
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain to you is that I've been
- 23:47Speaker 1: in this business for over twenty years. I've seen so
- 23:49Speaker 1: many different pieces of jewelry. And this is something that
- 23:52Speaker 1: you that you buy late night on an infomercial for
- 23:56Speaker 1: nineteen ninety nine. This is a Cubic Declonian stone and
- 24:00Speaker 1: the gold is not real at all. It's like, wait,
- 24:04Speaker 1: you wait, you lost me. You lost me as much
- 24:07Speaker 1: money as my friends make and as much money as
- 24:09Speaker 1: my father is putting down on his wedding or has
- 24:12Speaker 1: put down and you're gonna say understand everything you're saying.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But Denise, honestly don't know. What I need you to
- 24:17Speaker 1: do is hold on. Wait, no, no, no, I need
- 24:20Speaker 1: you to hold on because we need to call victims.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Wait wait man, First of all, I can't wait wait
- 24:26Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait, hold hold on because do you
- 24:33Speaker 1: wait wait wait? What are you trying to what you're
- 24:35Speaker 1: trying to do? Sorry? I need I need you to
- 24:37Speaker 1: repeat what you just said to me. Okay, I need
- 24:41Speaker 1: little of personal stuff. Man, you oh you hit it.
- 24:44Speaker 1: It's personal now, So I need you to hold on. Okay,
- 24:49Speaker 1: Oh she calling man? Okay, think think hello victim. I
- 24:55Speaker 1: want you to listen to this jeweler that's on the phone.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I want you to hit it that he just told me.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Hold on, what's what's the problem? What you mean, what's
- 25:01Speaker 1: the problem. He's gonna tell you what the problem is.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on. Hello. Yeah, who's
- 25:07Speaker 1: this all right? My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds
- 25:10Speaker 1: and actually your wife, I mean where your fiance rather?
- 25:13Speaker 1: She brought her ring in to actually be resized. Yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and we we also did an appraisal on the ring
- 25:19Speaker 1: for her, and actually the ring is estimated to be only,
- 25:24Speaker 1: in the word of around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars fifty
- 25:28Speaker 1: that's what the man said, sir. Obviously there's some sort
- 25:34Speaker 1: of mistakes, sir. Yea, what you got to say about
- 25:36Speaker 1: that fifty dollars? That's that's got to be some kind
- 25:39Speaker 1: of mistakes. But what'd you say your name was, sir?
- 25:41Speaker 1: My name is Gavin. I work here at Diamonds. I'm
- 25:44Speaker 1: the head jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years,
- 25:46Speaker 1: and there's there's no way that that ring is worth
- 25:49Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I know what I paid for it, So
- 25:51Speaker 1: obviously there's some sort of mistakes. There's not a mistake.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I've been dealing with jury, I've seen it. I can
- 25:57Speaker 1: pretty much look at a ring, but I actually went
- 26:00Speaker 1: into detail on this one, as I do all of them,
- 26:02Speaker 1: and so I promise you this is probably maybe between
- 26:06Speaker 1: forty and fifty dollars before his workers. No, absolutely not.
- 26:10Speaker 1: That's that's impossible. How is that impossible. He's the jeweler
- 26:13Speaker 1: you heard him say, he's been doing it for twenty
- 26:15Speaker 1: he's the highest. That impossible. I don't understand that all
- 26:18Speaker 1: the money that my dad is putting down on this wedding,
- 26:20Speaker 1: and you're donna pay fifty dollars. You bought a cheap ring, sir. No, no, no,
- 26:25Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
- 26:27Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it.
- 26:30Speaker 1: You show got that right, You show got that right.
- 26:32Speaker 1: So what you got to say for yourself fifty dollar? This?
- 26:36Speaker 1: You can't I believe that that's right, that this is
- 26:38Speaker 1: obviously some kind of mistair. Oh, it is a mistake.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm mistake and thinking I'm gonna get married to the
- 26:43Speaker 1: man of my dream. I do have the engagement ring
- 26:46Speaker 1: that was purchased and bought for your wife. No, I
- 26:49Speaker 1: don't think. I don't think you do. I don't think
- 26:50Speaker 1: you have my ring, because if you have my ring,
- 26:52Speaker 1: you wouldn't be telling me this is worse fifty dollars.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I have the ring that your wife, that your fiance
- 26:57Speaker 1: brought in his wife. Yet, hold on, hold on, the
- 27:00Speaker 1: man trying to explain, I'm trying to get to the body.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Thank you, So you have I don't think you have
- 27:06Speaker 1: the right ring. I have the right ring. And what
- 27:08Speaker 1: I'm letting you know, sir, is that this is something
- 27:11Speaker 1: you buy on an infomercial in the two ocock the dude,
- 27:14Speaker 1: you know I ain't bott a damn ring on infomercial.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I bought the ring from a reputable establishment. I have
- 27:22Speaker 1: the receipt, I have the certificate. So obviously the mistake
- 27:26Speaker 1: is on your and where you're mistakes now here? Search
- 27:28Speaker 1: you bought a piece of jump. He's been doing it
- 27:31Speaker 1: all these years. How hell you're gonna make a mistake
- 27:33Speaker 1: where you come off telling me I bought a piece
- 27:35Speaker 1: of jump? I know what I bought. If there's any
- 27:37Speaker 1: mistakes that's been made, it's on your end, world, It's
- 27:40Speaker 1: not on my end. Yeah, Hold don't. Don't you want
- 27:46Speaker 1: to think that my dad has had too much money
- 27:48Speaker 1: for this wedding? So your doaa? You wait till I
- 27:52Speaker 1: tell him this? Chill? Hold on. First of all, I
- 27:55Speaker 1: don't appreciate you. I want to tell you this. This
- 27:57Speaker 1: is a typical case of you trying to put it off.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Does because you bought a piece of tru for fifty bucks?
- 28:02Speaker 1: I don't know many that I get fifty dollars worth
- 28:05Speaker 1: of a ring? Then he's hold on, let me talk
- 28:07Speaker 1: to this. Where are you going and get base I
- 28:11Speaker 1: never heard of it, So your wife knows exactly where
- 28:15Speaker 1: she's the one that brought the ring. I tell you what,
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna come down there to see the ring that
- 28:19Speaker 1: you're talking about. If it's not the ring that I
- 28:21Speaker 1: gave my girl, I'm gonna take seventy six hundred dollars
- 28:24Speaker 1: out of your because that's so. Now you want to
- 28:28Speaker 1: jump on me because you bought your wife a pieces.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Come on and you want to put it on me.
- 28:33Speaker 1: You you don't tell me what the I don't know
- 28:35Speaker 1: what the I spin on the ring, and you I
- 28:37Speaker 1: don't kind of trying to pull. First of all, I
- 28:39Speaker 1: don't appreciate you coming in my household trying to mess
- 28:41Speaker 1: my and you want to come at me with this one.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I know the ring's gotta be real. If I were you,
- 28:47Speaker 1: mister niece, I would not marry somebody that's gonna I'm
- 28:50Speaker 1: coming there. I'm looking for your puppet. And you know what,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you don't get the ring in a right man, you're
- 28:55Speaker 1: gonna go in it. Could I say one more thing
- 28:57Speaker 1: to both of you? Are better? I tell you what
- 28:58Speaker 1: if they did, I want to hear me and you
- 29:00Speaker 1: gonna have some more problems this is nephew, tell me
- 29:03Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all just got planked
- 29:06Speaker 1: by the niece's sister that that's why she ain't got
- 29:15Speaker 1: no man to be Wow. Man, Wow, that's how clue time?
- 29:21Speaker 1: Are you about to start? Wow? I think I'm sorry, baby,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I will make it ring. I
- 29:31Speaker 1: gotta ask y'all something. What is the baddest radio show
- 29:35Speaker 1: in the Wow? The Steve Harvey The Morning Wow. All right,
- 29:48Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Valerie Jared will be our special guests right after this
- 29:54Speaker 1: you're listening show, all right, everybody else special guests as promised.
- 30:01Speaker 1: As senior advisor to the Obama Foundation, she's also an
- 30:05Speaker 1: advocate for social justice, former government official, and now a
- 30:09Speaker 1: best selling author. Her brand new book is called Finding
- 30:12Speaker 1: My Voice. It's my journey to the West Wing and
- 30:16Speaker 1: the Path forward. Now in this book, everybody, it gets
- 30:20Speaker 1: really good because she highlights a really remarkable journey that
- 30:24Speaker 1: she's had from childhood to her time spent in the
- 30:27Speaker 1: White House and life beyond it. So let's find out
- 30:30Speaker 1: more about the book. Please welcome to the show, our friend,
- 30:33Speaker 1: missus Valerie Jarrett, welcome to your show. It's really good.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I gotta congratulate you because you were for just being
- 30:49Speaker 1: the longest serving senior advisor to President Barack Obama. That's
- 30:54Speaker 1: a great, just a great accomplishment before he did. In fact,
- 31:00Speaker 1: I left it about eleven fifty nine on January twentieth,
- 31:04Speaker 1: two thousand and seventeen, and he left it about eleven
- 31:07Speaker 1: fifty eight, so I wanted to go right behind him
- 31:09Speaker 1: and say goodbye. It was an amazing, amazing journey to
- 31:14Speaker 1: be on with both President Obama and Miss Obama exactly right, Lord,
- 31:22Speaker 1: do we miss him? You would have seen the advisor
- 31:25Speaker 1: to President Obama for all these years. You've got to
- 31:28Speaker 1: have some really really interesting stories. I do. I do.
- 31:33Speaker 1: It was an interesting eight years. I can tell you that,
- 31:36Speaker 1: that is for sure, and a privilege sieve every single
- 31:41Speaker 1: day of such a privilege to see the challenges that
- 31:46Speaker 1: President Obama faced up close and personal, and to watch
- 31:49Speaker 1: how he made decisions and antonia, Oh my goodness. I
- 31:54Speaker 1: hunger for a president or any elected official who is
- 31:58Speaker 1: willing to put his own self interest, society his own
- 32:03Speaker 1: You know, he didn't react when people would yell at
- 32:06Speaker 1: him at the State of the Union address, you lie.
- 32:08Speaker 1: He never with Bob and when the Republicans snubbed him,
- 32:12Speaker 1: he just kept trying to do the people's book. And
- 32:15Speaker 1: I think that a president we could all be proud of.
- 32:17Speaker 1: And I'm just just honored to have been a part
- 32:20Speaker 1: of that administration and so much of what I learned
- 32:22Speaker 1: on the ground in Chicago working for Mayor Held Washington,
- 32:25Speaker 1: the first black mayor of Chicago, where you are approximate
- 32:29Speaker 1: to the people you serve. That taught me so much
- 32:32Speaker 1: about service and that you should not ever lose sight
- 32:36Speaker 1: of why you're there. And I just I've been so disappointed,
- 32:40Speaker 1: disease the Republicans just for years now forget about the
- 32:44Speaker 1: people and focus on the politics. And you can't do that,
- 32:46Speaker 1: and we deserve better. And the only way that changes
- 32:49Speaker 1: is if we all get out there and vote. Yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 1: that's been a rallying cry for quite some time, and
- 32:54Speaker 1: I think I hope that people are sick enough to
- 32:58Speaker 1: get out and do something about it. You know, we
- 33:00Speaker 1: can beat this electoral system, you know, we really can.
- 33:03Speaker 1: We just gotta vote. So we have to do it,
- 33:06Speaker 1: not just for the president, but it matters who's your mayor,
- 33:08Speaker 1: who's in your city council, your state legislature, your state's
- 33:11Speaker 1: attorney making decisions of our prosecutions. It all matters. And
- 33:16Speaker 1: we have to change the culture. And you know, missus
- 33:18Speaker 1: Abomini started this new organization called When We All Vote,
- 33:22Speaker 1: non partisans, but just designed to change the culture so
- 33:26Speaker 1: people appreciate, particularly the Black community, people sacrifice so much
- 33:30Speaker 1: for us to have the right to vote. None of
- 33:33Speaker 1: our children should get a pass on not voting when
- 33:35Speaker 1: they are adults. Ladies to vote in every election their
- 33:38Speaker 1: entire lives, absolutely, and so do we. We gotta vote.
- 33:42Speaker 1: We gotta be then example for our children. So tell
- 33:45Speaker 1: me this value. What's the takeaway when people are reading
- 33:50Speaker 1: finding my voice? Well, what do you want to readers
- 33:52Speaker 1: to get from this memoir? Steve? I started out shy,
- 33:57Speaker 1: painfully shy. I started out insecure where I didn't even listen.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I didn't trust my own voice. That's that quiet one
- 34:04Speaker 1: inside of us. And when Harold Washington was elected mayor Chicago,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I was practicing on a big fancy law firm, miserable.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I was in the middle of a bad marriage. I
- 34:16Speaker 1: married the boy next door that did not work out,
- 34:18Speaker 1: and I thought that my life was kind of falling apart,
- 34:21Speaker 1: and a friend of mine said, why don't you try
- 34:23Speaker 1: public service? You feel like you're personally bigger than yourself,
- 34:27Speaker 1: and so I swerved. I did a zig zag. I
- 34:30Speaker 1: did something where I took a cut in salary, a
- 34:33Speaker 1: cutting stature. So people thought, but I did what I
- 34:36Speaker 1: knew was right for me. And I want people to
- 34:39Speaker 1: have the courage to swerve out of their comfort zone,
- 34:42Speaker 1: to take a chance to do something that's unconventional, just
- 34:46Speaker 1: like my dad did when he went off to Iran,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and recognize that that's where the adventurous and I spent
- 34:54Speaker 1: my young adulthood playing it safe, and I wasn't really
- 34:58Speaker 1: even very good at my job. I'm feeling like I
- 35:00Speaker 1: was doing anything that would make my daughter proud of
- 35:03Speaker 1: me one day. And so I'm hoping, as I've told
- 35:07Speaker 1: my story about how I found my voice and then
- 35:10Speaker 1: what I chose to do with it, which is to
- 35:11Speaker 1: try to be a catalyst for positive change and help
- 35:14Speaker 1: empower other people to find theirs, that in reading it,
- 35:17Speaker 1: people will see themselves in my story and recognize that
- 35:21Speaker 1: just could just start out as a shy young girl
- 35:24Speaker 1: doesn't mean that you can't grow up to be a
- 35:26Speaker 1: senior advisor to the President of the United States. Wow,
- 35:30Speaker 1: that's exactly what you did, Valerie Jared, I gotta tell you, hey,
- 35:33Speaker 1: listen to everybody. I want you to listen to this.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Finding My Voice, My Journey to the West Wing and
- 35:39Speaker 1: the Path Forwards in all stores now, and it's available online.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I want the book because I'm in a period in
- 35:48Speaker 1: my life where i gotta do something different, you know,
- 35:52Speaker 1: I gotta and I just want to hear because I
- 35:54Speaker 1: like hearing people who stepped out of their comfort zone
- 35:58Speaker 1: to go do something else, because that's really what I'm
- 36:00Speaker 1: thinking of doing, and I just want them, you know.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It could probably be some enlightening encouragement in it for
- 36:06Speaker 1: me and for all of you out there, because all
- 36:08Speaker 1: of us, if you aren't outside your comfort zone, that's
- 36:11Speaker 1: usually where success is anyway, So you're gonna have to
- 36:13Speaker 1: get out of it to make it so. Valerie jack
- 36:17Speaker 1: that's the book, Finding My Voice, My Journey to the
- 36:19Speaker 1: West Wing and the Path for Its online in the
- 36:22Speaker 1: stores now. Valerie Jerry, we love you girl, Thank you
- 36:25Speaker 1: so much. I love you right back. Thank you so much.
- 36:28Speaker 1: And hello to everybody. You're listening audience. I just respect
- 36:32Speaker 1: and love everything about you, so thank you for having
- 36:35Speaker 1: me on. Ladies and Gentlemen, Valerie Jerry, Yeah you're listening. Show. Well,
- 36:44Speaker 1: yesterday it was all about Beyonce. Yes, it wasn't it though.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Beyonce delivered again, Yeah she did. I mean she's always
- 36:53Speaker 1: doing special things for her fans, for her fans, and
- 36:56Speaker 1: yesterday was no difference. She delivered a special gift to
- 36:59Speaker 1: her fans. Over night, Queen Bee dropped a forty track

- 37:19Speaker 1: some dudes in the basement right now. I can't finish
- 37:21Speaker 1: that one damn song forty that's yeah, Homecoming. The live
- 37:30Speaker 1: album was released shortly after midnight to streaming services and
- 37:33Speaker 1: includes a brand new song. The album was recorded at

- 37:41Speaker 1: of course. Now, Steve, You're gonna love this. There's a

- 38:34Speaker 1: you all, y'all c pop over my house, try coming
- 38:45Speaker 1: in with my as yet. But congratulations though to Cranby Beyonce.
- 38:52Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, that's amazing. She said. She ballooned up
- 38:58Speaker 1: to two hundred and eighty pounds with the twins and
- 39:02Speaker 1: she had to have an emergency C section. These are
- 39:04Speaker 1: some of the things she talks about and when the
- 39:07Speaker 1: makes you. And she did that and then did Cochella
- 39:12Speaker 1: the next year. Right, the next year, girl, right, she
- 39:15Speaker 1: had eight months to get into Coachella's shape, and she
- 39:19Speaker 1: did it. Eight months. She did it. She said she
- 39:22Speaker 1: didn't need any carbs, any meat, any sugar, any fish.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Just all right, coming up at thirty four after the
- 39:36Speaker 1: hour when Easter speeches go wrong, yes, right after this.
- 39:43Speaker 1: You're listening, all right. Everybody knows that Easter is on Sunday,
- 39:49Speaker 1: this Sunday, which means it's time for the kids to
- 39:52Speaker 1: give their Easter speeches. Here's some examples, yeah, for when
- 39:56Speaker 1: Easter speeches go badly, Okay to hey, we'll have speeches

- 42:13Speaker 1: on the he died. He died, but he died, but
- 42:16Speaker 1: on the seventh day he rolled. Hey, that's the guy

- 54:22Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the straw
- 54:25Speaker 1: Berry Letter subject Something Wasn't smelling right. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I'm a married associate pastor and my wife is a
- 54:34Speaker 1: stay at home mom. Two months ago, I went to
- 54:38Speaker 1: Africa on a mission trip, and when I came home,
- 54:41Speaker 1: my wife was acting weird. She would be either really
- 54:45Speaker 1: happy or really sleepy, so I thought she was having
- 54:48Speaker 1: a nervous breakdown until one night I leaned into her
- 54:52Speaker 1: to kiss her, and I noticed a strange smell in
- 54:56Speaker 1: her hair and breath. It was weed. I asked her
- 55:01Speaker 1: if she had been smoking, and she denied it and
- 55:03Speaker 1: got irritated, irritated with me for asking. After that, I
- 55:07Speaker 1: started watching her closely and I snooped through her car.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I found cigar wrappers, a lighter, and an ATM receipt
- 55:15Speaker 1: under her seat. She told me that she had no
- 55:18Speaker 1: idea how that stuff got in her car. He knows
- 55:22Speaker 1: that I don't condone marijuana use at all, and definitely
- 55:26Speaker 1: not in my home around my children. Thankfully, God revealed
- 55:30Speaker 1: her wrongdoings and I was able to bust her in
- 55:33Speaker 1: the act of smoking weed on the patio when she
- 55:35Speaker 1: thought I'd be gone for a while. She has been
- 55:38Speaker 1: living a double life and playing me for a fool.
- 55:41Speaker 1: She came clean and started defending her smoking by saying
- 55:44Speaker 1: that she smokes with a few of the ladies from
- 55:46Speaker 1: our church and it's no big deal. Even though it's
- 55:50Speaker 1: legal in our state, I still don't allow it in
- 55:54Speaker 1: my home. She told me that my views are old
- 55:58Speaker 1: school and I'm stuck on stupid. She said, if she
- 56:01Speaker 1: is to continue to take care of our kids and
- 56:04Speaker 1: the home daily, she does not plan to stop smoking
- 56:07Speaker 1: weed because it's therapeutic for her. I want her to
- 56:10Speaker 1: go to counseling and or rehab, but she refuses. She
- 56:14Speaker 1: said that as long as she does it away from
- 56:16Speaker 1: the kids, it's fine. Am I the only one that
- 56:19Speaker 1: thinks this is a huge problem? Please help? Oh, You're
- 56:23Speaker 1: absolutely right, this is a huge problem because it's affecting
- 56:28Speaker 1: your marriage. It's affecting your marriage in a major way,
- 56:31Speaker 1: and it sounds like it could be a deal breaker
- 56:34Speaker 1: because your wife. Your wife likes her weed, Sir, she
- 56:38Speaker 1: likes her weed. Pastor, it's disrespectful, I think because you
- 56:42Speaker 1: are a pastor, and it's not a good look for you.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I get that, even though she's smoking it with the
- 56:47Speaker 1: ladies from the church, the whole church will know in
- 56:49Speaker 1: a minute. I'm sure I get that it's illegal in
- 56:54Speaker 1: your state. She said that, but you don't support it.
- 56:57Speaker 1: You didn't mention it. But I don't think this is
- 56:59Speaker 1: for any type of medicinal reasons or anything like that.
- 57:03Speaker 1: The issue I have is that you say you don't
- 57:06Speaker 1: allow it or condone it in your home. Well, guess what,
- 57:09Speaker 1: it's her home too. It's her home too, and she
- 57:14Speaker 1: lives there. She takes care of the kids all day.
- 57:16Speaker 1: She takes care of the home and the children. And
- 57:19Speaker 1: she says she does not want to stop. So this
- 57:22Speaker 1: is a major problem. You want her to stop. You
- 57:24Speaker 1: don't condone it, you don't think it's cool. You don't
- 57:27Speaker 1: want her smoke it in in the house or around
- 57:29Speaker 1: the kids. And she says it's therapeutic for her, and
- 57:32Speaker 1: she's not going to stop. You've suggested you want her
- 57:35Speaker 1: to go to counseling. Have you suggested that to her
- 57:38Speaker 1: counseling or rehab? Well, yeah, you said that, but she refuses.
- 57:41Speaker 1: You guys have a major impasse in your marriage. You're
- 57:44Speaker 1: gonna have to try and work this out. But if
- 57:47Speaker 1: if you're not into weed smoking and she is, I
- 57:50Speaker 1: don't see this working. Absolutely not. Steve well Pastor, you
- 57:58Speaker 1: don't believe in weeds, okay, but she do. We have
- 58:03Speaker 1: two different belife systems under one roof. You ain't gonna
- 58:08Speaker 1: have it because where you found out, you started watching
- 58:10Speaker 1: her closely, snooped through her car. You found cigar wrappers,
- 58:14Speaker 1: a lighter, and an ATM receipt. She told me she
- 58:19Speaker 1: had no idea how this stuff got in her car.
- 58:22Speaker 1: What I do know is I don't condone Mariano use
- 58:25Speaker 1: marijuana youth, saying, it's all definitely not in my home
- 58:27Speaker 1: around my children. Then he says, thankfully God revealed her
- 58:31Speaker 1: own doings and I was able to bust her in
- 58:33Speaker 1: the act smoking weed on the paddil when she thought
- 58:36Speaker 1: I'd be going for a while. Now she's saying your
- 58:38Speaker 1: old fashion because hearing some of the ladies from the
- 58:41Speaker 1: church and smoking you don't allow it in your house.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Told you your views as old school, and you stuck
- 58:48Speaker 1: old stupid. Then she told you if you want her
- 58:51Speaker 1: to continue to take care of them damn kids, she
- 58:53Speaker 1: gonna have to smoke a weed. So now let's get
- 58:59Speaker 1: into why she got to smoke so much weed. Let's
- 59:05Speaker 1: talk about your sermons, pastor. Are they good sermons or
- 59:10Speaker 1: the am sermons where people go, Man, what time is
- 59:13Speaker 1: it with the game is on? So I'm thinking, I
- 59:18Speaker 1: don't know, man, I don't. I don't. I don't really
- 59:21Speaker 1: know how to put this to you, except you're dealing
- 59:23Speaker 1: with the situation here where your wife smoke weed and
- 59:28Speaker 1: you don't. And I think the best way to do
- 59:31Speaker 1: this is just a complete reenactment, because we're not gonna
- 59:35Speaker 1: get to the bottom of this any other way. Shelly
- 59:39Speaker 1: says that she thinks that it is a problem because
- 59:42Speaker 1: it's affecting your marriage, so we need to go on
- 59:45Speaker 1: and act this out. That Jay been going for a while,
- 59:49Speaker 1: but I'm pretty sure he still remember I'm the pastor
- 59:55Speaker 1: and you the weed smoker. Oh how perfect? This is?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: A man? Baby baby, baby, I would you would sleep
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: up not smelled your breath in your hair and a
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: smell like we was happening. First of all, you have
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: got this dope, women, Hold on, hold on, Claire, I
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: ain't ain't nobody yellow, ain't screaming all the time, girl,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: ain nobody screaming. You don't smoke that weed taking down
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: night while? Are you telling me to take it down
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: or not? And you ain't smoking weed? Dude, dude, don't
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: dude me. Dude, dude, this happens so every day. Let
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: me go preach and you stay here with you see
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: smoking man. I'm telling this ain't an easy job. Baby. Yeah,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I married you. You didn't smoke. No, and I ain't
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: gonna have it in my house now. I'm not even
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: smoking in him, my side, behind him, I'm side, not
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: even in the house. Yeah, but baby, at night, dude,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: we've sold your breadth fin this in your hair. Look,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: let me just say this. I don't know, but I'm
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: sure weeds was in the Bible. I don't know. I'm
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: not sure. Twelve dudes and I smoked something. Hold on,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Clara and a pastor. Man, we'll have part two of
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: this re enactment. And of Steve's response coming up at

- 1:02:06Speaker 1: So this past is married to this woman, went on
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: a trip and came back. Noticed she was acting kind
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: of strange, and uh, she was always tired on he
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: just wasn't herself. So he's one night he smells I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: had in a mount and smelled a weed. So he
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: says in the letter at wedding point, let me pull
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: it up because I wanted to quote it to you.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: She said that she had no idea how the stuff
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: got in her car. She knows that I don't condone
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: marijuana use at all, definitely not in my home. Thankfully,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: God revealed her wrongdoings and I was able to bust
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: her in the act of smoking weed on the patio
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: when she thought I was going for a while. This
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: ain't really trying to hide it. Past. I'm gonna be
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: real with you. Do she out on the patio. So
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: now here's the pastor confronting her, his beloved Clara, who
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: he didn't they didn't, he didn't know she was a jumper.

- 1:03:37Speaker 1: that reverend Clara, I'm shocked that you would go to
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Dees or know it. I'm against I'm a man of God,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I'm against weed smoking. How could you, Claren, I'm winning this.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Can we make a deal. I'm willing to see things
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Joe way, but I'm gonna have to smoke. What I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: got left to get rid of all these snacks I got?

- 1:04:30Speaker 1: These kids? Man? You heard you? Don't you have no idea? Clara,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Dee's kids is twenty nine and thirty two. That's what
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I'm talking about. They need to be out of here.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Out But Clara, de kids have their old apartment, Sweete,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: what is wrong with you? I don't want to disrespect you, daddy,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I swear I don't. I don't, but you if you
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: say do it your way, I'll give it a try
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: night because I don't want to joint to come between us. Okay, Claire,

- 1:10:51Speaker 1: that dude did the same thing long time ago when H. W.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Bush was in the White House, and he didn't he
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: cover from Jacob for him. I'm in the Republican Party.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I know all the inside stuff he gonna cover for
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: this this one. And the only way we can get
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: him out of office, we need to vote him out
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: of office. And I don't give a dog on that.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders is number two, and and what what's the name?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Bude Ledge? Well? I like him, I mean as a
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: young dude, but he got some racial issues he got
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: to deal with. You know what I'm saying. Got some
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: gentrification issues. He got to deal. See, we gotta look
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: at everybody. I'm still going for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: That's the money team right there, that's the money what y'alla.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: He hasn't announced formally yet. Joe Biden has issues too, Cheryl,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: though the stupid Democratic Party is calling him on everything. True. Yes,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the Republicans would never do that. We want to win
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: by any means necessary. That's why we let this sucker
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: being our part of Donald Trump's with his children, and
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you go to Africa's many times you want to and
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: they ain't gonna make us feel better about you. And
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: we want our reparation money. We got a list of
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: everybody got reparation money. See, I don't switch my side
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: on this one. We need our coin for reparation. Everybody
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: ain't got money. The Indians ain't got money, Javanese ain't
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: got money, and they should have. All the people should
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: have got money. Don't be playing us talking about you
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: want to put together a panel or something like that.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: What you gonna do? But I don't care what anybody
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: to do. Trump need to get out of all. I'm
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: saying that as a Republican need to get out of office.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I don't care how many bars he get up that
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Roseanne Ball, William Ball, whoever it is, it ain't gonna
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: cover for him with this foolishness that's going on, not
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: on Resurrection weekend, see that that ain't that just ain't
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: gonna happen. But Steve, what was you finna say about
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Joe Bidens and even President Obama say it's a circular fire.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Scrid y'all just shooting at each other. How stupid is
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: that they need to get together and back one? What
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: was you fing to say, Steve Harves gonna say nothing
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: except that we're tragically making mistakes as a Democratic party
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: because now we're dog and Biden about his past behavior
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: and you know, man making him have to pay for
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: something he did years ago, which the Republicans never do.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: They never do that. Man. They let I mean, man,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: look at this, this dude. They don't care, man and man,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: everybody else has to pay except Republicans. They get together
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: and they said, don't worry about it, and that's what
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: they've done, and they squash it. They squash and the
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Democrats need to get together, and they need to squash it.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: They need to sell all the difference behind closed door.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: They need to come out back one person then say okay,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: it's just like we do in Greek them you're gonna
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: run a slate. Then everybody gonna run together, you know,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and then we're gonna make it work. This Resurrection weekend,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: first week gonna we're gonna forget if we're gonna say focused.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: And I'm just glad. Let me say this too while
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I lose my whole train of thought. We're glad that
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: they're given a billion dollars for Notre Dame, but I'm
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: gonna need somebody to go down there. What is an
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: obolusis Louisiana. They got one point three you know what
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I'm saying. We need some money over there too. And
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: I'm glad that everybody coming together. I'm glad everybody got
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: loving their heart. But then after Resurrection Weekend is over,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: then I need us to get back to work. I
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: need us to get through these primaries. I need us
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: to start electing the right people. Then I need us
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: first of all, Nasa Pelosi, I need you on nothing
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: but celery water and the air for the rest of
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: your life, because you're the only one putting the foot in.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Colin Farrell, stop looking at me. You're the
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: only one getting that trump Listen. I believe she was
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: in Game of Thrones when they first started last week.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I believe she was flying on one of them dragons,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: sitting in that chair with all the swords in it.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Because Pelosi, it's no je I like Nancy for losing.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: She got man. She is one of them people that
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: be getting in your path. You can't even play the
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: dozens with her because she dig in your old family business.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Don't even that's right, don't even do it. What y'all
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: finna do for Easter, though, what y'all fnna do for Easter?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I go the best side Baptists. Yeah, I go the
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: best side Baptists. You know I'll be I'll be trying
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: to motivate myself for Sun. Right, I'm already of the year.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: That's right, That's right. You know what, I really go
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: far the little edge. The boy and I punch your
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: baby in the stomach for a boy, I will Jamee Brown,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and I have a salt shaker, salt and pepper shaker
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: in my pocket, and I kiss them me. I punch
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: your baby in the stomach. I stopped crying. They go
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: to Eastern Bunny, stop crying, you throw up? Since how
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: five years old? I've been taking blood presidentical, that cholesterol white,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the yoke and the white. Thank you so much. We
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: love you girls. Is it time for me to go? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: we gotta I'm making me leave because I said I'll
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: punch your baby. Stop. Now, we just gotta go. You
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: know how it goes. It's coming up at the top
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: of the hour. It's Carla's Reality Update. Right after this.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: You're listening to stew get ready to get ready, to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: get ready, to get ready, to get ready to get ready.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: She is here, call A Ferrell with what reality update?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: With what that's right? Nephew, Reality update? All right, here
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: we go on Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Show Part
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: dose spot two. Okay, so niny, Wow, she was clowning
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: on this particular Listen to this one, yeah, shob please listen.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Nini said that she and Greg may actually get a divorce.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: What yeah, yeah, yeah, Nini said that her and Greg
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: may get a divorce now on the reunion show. She
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: actually Greg was a guest on this particular part of
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: the reunion show, and he doesn't want to get a divorce.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: But Nini said that her marriage had problems before Greg
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: was diagnosed with colon cancer, and she also mentioned that
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: he cheated in the past and that Greg was grouchy
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: while being sick. She went on and on and on. Yeah,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: there was some issues. Yeah, cancer change. Yeah, he has
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: colon cancer. So anyway, take a listen. When Andy talked
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: to Nini about the possible separation between her and her husband, Greg,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: take a listen. Do you wish that she had not
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: revealed that you had cheated? Um, that was so long
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: ago that that really just didn't have any weight. Did
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you hurt from that guy removed from me a long
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: time ago? Um, maybe it didn't get removed from you.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Maybe Greg. Ninie made it sound like you were the
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: one asking for separation when she was talking to Cynthia
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Eva's wedding. Is that what happened? You know, I can't
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: recall exactly what it was, but we were into it.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I went to the wedding alone. Well, I was getting dressed,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: so I thought I was going. He couldn't go, not
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: arguing with me, You ditched him? Yes, yeah, so you know,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: I think Greg was a little uncomfortable about it. But
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: he loved, yes, yes, and he talked about maybe they
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Nini kind of reveals a little too much, you know,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: they talked about they both do really yeah, yeah, but
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: he you know you rooting for him. You're rooting for
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Greg to stay strong, to beat colon cancer. And I
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: hope they worked their marriage out. I really really do.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Moving on, Ninie was acting mean on the show. You know,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: she was mean, she was short, you know, with the
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: other cast members on the show, and the new cast
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: member member. She's a friend of the show. Her name
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: is Tanya, and she was introduced to the group by Ninie,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: and she says that when you become friends with the
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: other ladies in the group, it's like Ninie will dismiss you,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: and so yeah, so Porta and Cynthia kind of agreed
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: with Tanya. What do you think so too, Steve go
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: ahead say oh yeah, Steve, what's happening there here? Let
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: me help y'all. Ninie is all what you call oh,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you know, just wanted. I don't know the name of it.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: The people were and see, nacissists are very close to
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the word narcotics, and once you get involved with narcotics,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: it's just all about you damn about your family or nothing,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Thus the word narcissist. And so when she just wants
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: you to love her once you go get somebody else,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: she played you hard to the level because it's gonna
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: be about nine now. Yeah, well I have to say
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I feel she has. Yeah, she is. And Nini she
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: kind of whispered to Andy that you know, the women
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: were working really hard for their peaches, trying to say,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: you know, they're just coming after her on this particular
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: reunion special. But she also talks about her behavior at
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: the Bye Wig party, remember the whole closet gate. She
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: had to explain her behavior. You remember when Nini ripped
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: the shirt off the cameraman, pulling him back so he
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: could not film what was going on with her close
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it and Porche and Candy and all that drama. Pani Uh,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Candy and Porsche. But Nini admitted she had a natural
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: breakdown because so los story shore Portia was very hurt
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: by Nini just dismissing them, and and she said, you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: know what, we pray for you. We thought we were
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: your friends, you know, we pray for you, My family
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: pray for you, my man prayed for you. And then
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: here you are treating us all like this. It just
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: wasn't genuine. Take a listen to Porsche, She's really pouring
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: our heart out to Nini, Take a listen. We were
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: there for you, and we genuinely pray for you and
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: your husband. Your main issue is you don't know how
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: to accept the support from your friends all of us. Yes,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: that's hurtful. Like that makes me feel like any experience
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: I have ever had with you was faced so many
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: times since we've been on this couch, which is brand
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: new to me, that we are not friends. Okay, so
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: just understand what you're doing. You think it's all nonchalant
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: and que but that hurts because me and my fiance
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: have prayed for you and my mother, all of us,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: and the fact that you would sit here now and
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: give a big to all of us is very hurt fault.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: What's your response? No response? No response, You're just shut down.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I just irritated me. That's wrong. So what do you want?
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: I thought sheld just poured her heart out? What do
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you want me to say? She wants say something. If
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: someone poured their heart out to me, I might have
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: a response. I don't know. Call me crazy, Okay, he
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: built up. He just built up. Well, no response is
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: just better, is Yeah. She just feels that they're attacking
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: her and they're all ganging up on her. And every
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: time they do a reunion show, it's always about ni
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Need and that's what it was, Just like the one
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: from last Saunion Are you right about he's the same

- 1:23:15Speaker 1: what she's doing. She does what she wants to do. Yeah,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: but if anybody call on it, then you get like
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: she said, no comment man with cancer. Damn that's cool man,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: yea god, yeah yeah, So hit me up social media

- 1:27:59Speaker 1: being on the list. To him, well, there's always next year.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: He always liked this. After he Texas, y'all just had
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, he is kind of somber. Yeah, King. Yeah,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: We'll be back with Laura of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to show, Well, yesterday,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: it was all about Beyonce. Uh yes, wasn't it though?
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: Beyonce delivered again, Yeah she did. I mean she's always
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: doing special things for her spans, for her fans, and
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: yesterday was no difference. She delivered a special gift to
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: her fans. Overnight, Queen Bee dropped a forty track did
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: You hear Me? Forty track live album to coincide with
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: her new Coachella Netflix Netflix concert film okay, called Homecoming,
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: a film by Beyonce. Forty songs, forty City, forty there's
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: some dudes in the basement right now. I can't finish
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: that one damn song forty that's my yeah. Homecoming. The
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: live album was really shortly after midnight to streaming services
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: and includes a brand new song. The album was recorded
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: at her twenty eighteen headline performance at Coachella. That was
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: last year, of course. Now, Steve, you're gonna love this.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: There's a bonus track on the album. It's her cover
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: of Frankie Beverly and Mazes before I Let Go Got
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: It here Okay, New Orleans, be with it. I am
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: about the album A forty yeah, forty tracks, Yeah, no, yes,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: in the car right now? Wait yeah, I haven't had
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: a chance to watch the specially yet. I planned to
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: do that this weekend of course. So yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: do well to be back. Yeah. Yeah, we're gonna really
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: lay around ned a lot. So you got special talent,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: real with what time that's gonna be, So I don't
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: call up over there and y'all faint pop over my
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: house try coming in with as yet. But congratulations though
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: to Cranby Beyonce, I mean, yeah, that's amazing. She said
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: she ballooned up to two hundred and eighteen pounds with
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: the twins and she had to have an emergency c section.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: These are some of the things she talks about, the
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: which makes you bow down even more. And she did
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: that and then did coello the next year. Right, the
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: next year, girl, Right. She had eight months to get
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: into Cella's shape and she did it. Eight months. She
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: did it. She said she didn't need any carbs, any meat,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: any sugar, any fish, just what that leave. All right,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: we'll be back with the clothes. Uh, today has been
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: a good day. Um, we'll be back to closing the
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: show with Steve's closing remarks coming up at forty nine
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: after the hour, Right, after this. You're listening here, we are,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: last break of the day. Wants to get it's about Sherry. Oh,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: the things that I've learned along the way. One of
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: the things I think is very important that we should
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: talk about. We should talk about blame and excuses. Um,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: blame and excuses. I'm telling you, man, they serve no purpose.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: Excuses first of all, only good for the person that's
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: providing them. It does nothing for the person who receives it.
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: Have you ever had somebody tell you a reason why
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: they didn't do something and you were counting on them
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: to get it done, and they gave you an excuse
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: as to why. Okay, here's somebody's supposed to pick you
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: up in the car pool for work. Now you didn't
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: gave your car to your spouse so they could go
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: do what they want to do. Now you're sitting there
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: waiting on the car pool to come pick you up.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: They don't pick you up now they late. Man, I
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: had a hard time getting up this morning. Man, I'm glad,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: but i'm here though. Whoa man, that's an excuse? What
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: do you mean you're late? You had a hard time
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: getting up? I'm sitting up here waiting on you to
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: pick me up, and you come forty five minutes later.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Now I'm late for work. See that excuse that does
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: okay for I was sick this morning. I didn't fill
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: up to it. That excuse works wonderful for you, but
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: the person receiving the excuse gets nothing. You've got to
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: remove excuses from your vocabulary and your walk in life. See,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: I don't really accept excuses from anybody in my camp.
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: If you're an employer, you work for me. I don't
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: do excuses because I don't give none. Today. For example,
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: I'm not feeling real well. You know, my sign assistant
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: kicked in. I've had a troublesome night last night. I'm
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: not feeling well. But guess what, I came to work
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: on the radio today, and I'll do these two shows
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: I got to do today because I don't. I heard
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: they don't care up about my excuses. People who are
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: looking for me to wake them up in the morning,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: give them a laugh, or give them a thought starter.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: They're not looking for my excuses, they're just looking for
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: the results. Excuses don't do me no good. Now, that's
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: some days all of us are not up to part.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: We're not on but I'm not. I don't care about
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: the excuses. I don't accept excuses because I don't give excuses.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: The other thing I removed from my life is blame.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: And once you blame another person, man, this is what
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: happened with blame, blame and excuses. Listen to me. Finger
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: pointing does nothing. Because you've heard old saying, every time
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: you point your finger in a person, you notice that's
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: three of them pointing back at you. Once you're in
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: the blame business and the excuse business, you forfeit your
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: chance for growth. I give you an example. If you're
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: always talking about is somebody else's fault and you're always
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: have an excuse why something didn't get done or accomplished,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: guess what now you can't grow. You can't grow, You
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: can't fix it because the reason why it didn't happen,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: or the reason why you didn't accomplish it is because
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: you blame someone else and you have an excuse. Once
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: you aren't accepting blame and excuses, you forfeit your chance
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: for growth. You killed any chance for change. Sometimes all
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you have to do as a person is search within
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: yourself and find out what it is about you that
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: you could change that could start producing a better result.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: But if you always blaming somebody else and providing it
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: and accepting excuses from yourself and other people, guess what
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: you've done. You've killed your chance for change. Sometimes you
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: could be doing a whole lot better in life if
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: you would just change, if you would search yourself and
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: change something about you, you would be doing so much better.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: If you just search yourself, stop allowing excuses to be
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: a part of your makeup, and stop allowing blame to
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: be a part of it, and you would discover a
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: lot of this suggest you it could be you another
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: thing to blame an excuse it does. It allows you
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: to fail favorably, you know, man, you can just get
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: all right with failing. You can fail favorably because it
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: ain't my fault and I didn't do it because it
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: was cold outside. So ta you allow yourself to fail favorably.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: That's an ugly spot to be in. But blaming excuses
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: allows you to fail favorably, Like it's okay to fail
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: because it ain't my fault because I have an excuse.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: And if they fault, blaming excuses, man, is a very
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: very dangerous thing out there. Also, blaming excuses promotes a
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: climate of failure. It just premeates man throughout your life.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: And next thing, you know, you ain't accomplishing nothing because
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: if blaming, blaming excuses a part of your makeup, you
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: now have promoted a climate for failure. It's okay, It's
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: okay because I have a reason why why you didn't
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: finish school, because because it was too cold to go?
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: Why you didn't finish school because that test was too hard.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: I didn't study them two pages. I thought they said
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: the first chapter. She questions us on the first three chapters.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: I didn't hear that that's the only reason I failed.
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: And you get all right with it. When you're no
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: longer the reason why something happens. You no longer have
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: control over what happens. Let me say that to you
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: one more time. When you're no longer the reason why
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: something happens, you ain't gonna take responsibility. You're not the reason.
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: Stop allowing blame and excuses to end into your makeup.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: They served nobody any good, especially you. Those are my
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: closing all right now, day, have yourself a good week.
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: You better clap from Daniel. I'm try That's what the
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: president does. Yes, that's all. I'm safe. Yeah, I have
