- 1:59Speaker 4: You think that?
- 2:01Speaker 9: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 9: to the voice. Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 9: only Steve Harvey got a radio show today?
- 2:11Speaker 3: Is it?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Everybody? On a real positive note? Today? Is it? Today
- 2:17Speaker 4: is the day?
- 2:17Speaker 9: You know, when I was in high school, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 9: my mother was a Sunday school teaching until she passed.
- 2:23Speaker 9: I would walk out the door every morning on my
- 2:26Speaker 9: way to school, and my mother used to say, listen
- 2:29Speaker 9: to me, son, Hey, don't forget. Today is the day
- 2:32Speaker 9: that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be
- 2:34Speaker 9: glad in it. And you know, I ain't think much
- 2:36Speaker 9: of it. You know, it was just my mama being religious.
- 2:39Speaker 9: You know, Mom's spiritual woman, So you know I just
- 2:42Speaker 9: took it as that. But as i've gotten older, man,
- 2:44Speaker 9: You know that's registered more and more with me. Today
- 2:47Speaker 9: is the day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 2:49Speaker 9: rejoice and be glad in it. That's pretty cool, man.
- 2:53Speaker 9: What better blessing will you get throughout the day than
- 2:57Speaker 9: the fact that he allowed you to live and see
- 2:59Speaker 9: it the day? See sometimes, man, when you're young, you
- 3:03Speaker 9: don't pay no attention to that. But all you got
- 3:05Speaker 9: to do is keep living, keep watching some people that
- 3:08Speaker 9: you know not be here anymore, go to class reunions
- 3:12Speaker 9: and they smaller, see people that you really loved.
- 3:15Speaker 4: It meant a lot till you leave.
- 3:16Speaker 9: This world, and all of a sudden, man, immortality starts
- 3:20Speaker 9: to matter a great deal to you. Some of us
- 3:24Speaker 9: learned this lesson sooner than others. But I know when
- 3:27Speaker 9: you're young, man, you know, you think you're gonna be
- 3:28Speaker 9: here for a while. You think you got time to
- 3:30Speaker 9: play around, You think you got time to get it together,
- 3:33Speaker 9: You got time to make the mistakes. And but man,
- 3:35Speaker 9: oh man, I almost every full blown adult that I
- 3:39Speaker 9: know will tell you and have said these words right
- 3:41Speaker 9: here many times, And I would see the reason I'm
- 3:44Speaker 9: saying is because I want you to hear them, because
- 3:46Speaker 9: you're gonna use them if I only knew then what
- 3:49Speaker 9: I know now? Do you know how many people have
- 3:52Speaker 9: said those words right there? Because in time, man, you
- 3:55Speaker 9: gain so much wisdom. Oh but it ain't like nobody
- 3:59Speaker 9: didn't tell you, though somebody told you back then. Hey man,
- 4:02Speaker 9: it's best to buckle down now, he say, Hey man,
- 4:04Speaker 9: you better quit wasting time. Hey, look, do your best
- 4:07Speaker 9: at all the times. You know, stop stop worrying about that.
- 4:10Speaker 9: I'm telling you, son, in a minute, them clubs ain't
- 4:12Speaker 9: gonna mean nothing to you. In a minute, that going
- 4:15Speaker 9: out all the time ain't gonna mean nothing to you.
- 4:17Speaker 9: I can't tell you how many times I repeat it
- 4:19Speaker 9: to my kids. But man, today is a different day,
- 4:23Speaker 9: because today is the day that the Lord has made.
- 4:25Speaker 4: So he gave you a shot today. If you woke up.
- 4:28Speaker 9: This morning, or if you're finishing your day on your shift,
- 4:30Speaker 9: he gave you a new day. Nothing bigger than the
- 4:35Speaker 9: fact that he woke you up today. Now, why don't
- 4:38Speaker 9: you do something about that? Why don't you take advantage
- 4:41Speaker 9: of it? How about if you start today? How about
- 4:43Speaker 9: if you stop hesitating today? How about if you stop
- 4:46Speaker 9: delaying it today? How about if you stop procrastinating today.
- 4:49Speaker 9: How about if you make today to day that you
- 4:51Speaker 9: go for it. I mean, man, let's all just decide today,
- 4:55Speaker 9: let's go for it. Let's put forth a maximum effort today.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Man, what you're doing.
- 5:01Speaker 9: Look, man, take advantage of this blessing of waking up,
- 5:04Speaker 9: do something today. If you would just start the process, man,
- 5:08Speaker 9: start that business you always dreamed of. Go look into
- 5:11Speaker 9: that other job you always yearn for. Go get the
- 5:14Speaker 9: training you need to get the promotion. Man, go back
- 5:17Speaker 9: to school, man, go see what you need to do
- 5:20Speaker 9: to lift yourself to the next level. Stop waking up
- 5:23Speaker 9: every day seeing how it's gonna go, and start waking
- 5:26Speaker 9: up and do something about how it goes.
- 5:28Speaker 4: If you make one step, he'll make two. But you
- 5:31Speaker 4: could people.
- 5:32Speaker 9: Talk about all the time, man, it seemed like you're
- 5:34Speaker 9: always getting a blessing. Oh man, when you talking to
- 5:36Speaker 9: a person, listen to this. If you talking to a
- 5:39Speaker 9: person and it seems like there's always a blessing coming
- 5:43Speaker 9: his way, let me tell you what that person doing.
- 5:45Speaker 9: That person is putting one foot in front of the next.
- 5:48Speaker 9: That person is putting forth some efforts out there, and
- 5:51Speaker 9: that's the only way God can bless you.
- 5:53Speaker 4: God can only bless you with your efforts.
- 5:55Speaker 9: He can only put his finger on the thing that
- 6:00Speaker 9: you are doing or attempting.
- 6:02Speaker 4: That's all he can help you with.
- 6:04Speaker 9: He there are no jobs walking up to your door,
- 6:07Speaker 9: knocking on your door. But if you beating the pavement,
- 6:10Speaker 9: if you sending in the apps, if you online scouring
- 6:13Speaker 9: somewhere to work, somewhere to get a job, then God
- 6:15Speaker 9: can touch somebody's heart to hire you. But if you
- 6:18Speaker 9: sitting at the house every day, smoke every day, drinking,
- 6:22Speaker 9: but you wondered why you just can't get a job
- 6:24Speaker 9: a couple times, you the one out there. If you
- 6:27Speaker 9: ain't got a job, you got to look go get
- 6:29Speaker 9: one every day. You got to go look for one
- 6:31Speaker 9: every single day. You can't take no days off. How
- 6:34Speaker 9: about today? How about today? If we decide today is
- 6:38Speaker 9: the day that we're gonna make the move. Today is
- 6:40Speaker 9: the day that we stop delaying, hesitating, procrastinating. Today is
- 6:44Speaker 9: the day that we take a step in the direction
- 6:46Speaker 9: to do something for ourselves, for our lives, for our family,
- 6:50Speaker 9: for our wives, for our children, for our community, for
- 6:53Speaker 9: our school. Do something today, for crying out loud, man,
- 6:58Speaker 9: stop sitting in your own life in just a stew
- 7:02Speaker 9: of misery.
- 7:03Speaker 4: In your own life. I'm gonna tell you something.
- 7:05Speaker 9: If you are in a state of confusion, if you
- 7:08Speaker 9: are troubling, if you're stuck on what to do next,
- 7:11Speaker 9: you let me tell you what's happening. You're not doing enough.
- 7:14Speaker 9: That's what it is.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Man.
- 7:16Speaker 9: See when I get in a place, man, where I
- 7:20Speaker 9: don't know what the next move is, it's because i'd
- 7:23Speaker 9: unusually stalled out.
- 7:25Speaker 4: See, this is the way God works. This is the
- 7:27Speaker 4: way He's worked for me.
- 7:28Speaker 9: Every time I'm busy and I'm about the business of
- 7:32Speaker 9: always trying to live my creed, which is ABC.
- 7:35Speaker 4: My model is ABC. Always be closing.
- 7:38Speaker 9: I'm always working on something, something to close something. When
- 7:43Speaker 9: you're so busy with the business of improving yourself and
- 7:47Speaker 9: doing with yourself and becoming the best you you can be,
- 7:50Speaker 9: God is always working on your behalf behind some scene
- 7:55Speaker 9: of something that you're in the process of tempting to close.
- 8:00Speaker 9: But because you're not doing all you can do, you're
- 8:04Speaker 9: limiting you. You are because if your decision not to
- 8:07Speaker 9: give you all and all, you're limiting the opportunities for
- 8:10Speaker 9: God to put his finger on things in touch them,
- 8:13Speaker 9: on your behalf. I don't know if the average person
- 8:17Speaker 9: really understands or knows what it takes to truly be
- 8:22Speaker 9: successful on whatever level you're talking about. But whatever that
- 8:26Speaker 9: level is, I don't care what a dollar amount you've
- 8:28Speaker 9: got attached to it, what level you got if you
- 8:31Speaker 9: have made the decision that you're going to be successful.
- 8:34Speaker 9: I think that a lot of people, the average person
- 8:37Speaker 9: does not know what that means.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Whatever level you've decided to be successful on.
- 8:42Speaker 9: See, that's your level of faith, that's where you see
- 8:44Speaker 9: your life at. Well, guess what you got to maximize
- 8:49Speaker 9: your efforts to even get to that level.
- 8:52Speaker 4: So listen to me.
- 8:53Speaker 9: If you want to be successful at your church, if
- 8:56Speaker 9: you want to be successful in your relationship, if you
- 8:58Speaker 9: want to be successful down at the day, if you
- 9:01Speaker 9: want to be successful at your college, if you want
- 9:04Speaker 9: to be successful on your job, guess what it's gonna
- 9:07Speaker 9: take all you got in that world to become a success.
- 9:12Speaker 4: I don't know why people think.
- 9:14Speaker 9: That if you don't want to be what somebody else said,
- 9:17Speaker 9: you ain't got to put forth that effort.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Na, Nah, I ain't wrong.
- 9:20Speaker 9: You've got to put forth your maximum effort at whatever
- 9:23Speaker 9: role you trying to accomplish. Lord have messy man. How
- 9:27Speaker 9: about today, though, y'all? How about today? Today is a
- 9:31Speaker 9: good one. Let's make today today. Let's get out of that.
- 9:34Speaker 9: Let's get on with it. Stop hesitating, stop delaying, stop procrastinating,
- 9:38Speaker 9: start today. Watch God have something to put his finger
- 9:43Speaker 9: on there. And that's all you're trying to do, man,
- 9:45Speaker 9: To line yourself up with God's grace, you got to
- 9:48Speaker 9: put out a lot of effort so God can put
- 9:51Speaker 9: his finger on something. You feel me today, I shall
- 9:54Speaker 9: hope you do, because I'm on one today.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning, ladies and gentlemen, everybody. As difficult
- 10:06Speaker 9: as life can be, sometimes I am still ever so greatful.
- 10:11Speaker 8: Man.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Oh man, I thank God, I.
- 10:14Speaker 9: Really do, man, because he just he keeps me covered,
- 10:17Speaker 9: He keeps me waking up, He keeps me moving forward,
- 10:22Speaker 9: He keeps me mentally protected.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Am I tired? Yes? Am I covet even more so? Whatever? Whatever?
- 10:31Speaker 9: In spite of all of it, I don't care what
- 10:34Speaker 9: besets me in my life. God is in control, and
- 10:38Speaker 9: God gonna get you through it, just like he's gotten
- 10:41Speaker 9: you through every other thing He's gotten. You've been easy
- 10:43Speaker 9: and I've been in some stuff. But boy, God been
- 10:46Speaker 9: good to me.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Man.
- 10:47Speaker 9: That's what I'm appreciative of. And I'm a ride with that.
- 10:50Speaker 9: That's my testimony today. God be good to me through
- 10:54Speaker 9: it all. You know, I don't care hide and look
- 10:57Speaker 9: what it seemed like, what it may appear to be
- 11:00Speaker 9: when it when it, when it passed, we're gonna be
- 11:03Speaker 9: shining like two brand new pennies. Yeah, I remember I
- 11:07Speaker 9: used to put pennies in my loafers.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you were loafers.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Wow, Yeah, I had loafers. I had, I had a liking.
- 11:16Speaker 9: Let me introduce her by damn gonna tell this story

- 11:28Speaker 8: Job, well you know I had, Yes, you did life

- 11:41Speaker 4: My follow three wasn't good. I didn't don't know.
- 11:43Speaker 9: Once you bought the policy because I wanted to commission
- 11:47Speaker 9: right services and servicing it.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Call me, I mean know you called me with a
- 11:56Speaker 4: claim or something like that. What what did you just
- 11:59Speaker 4: saw you, sir.
- 12:03Speaker 9: Okay, damn because because every time they call you it
- 12:07Speaker 9: was a problem.
- 12:08Speaker 3: You know.
- 12:09Speaker 4: But we sold fine shoings.
- 12:11Speaker 9: You know, Renters inshoance and you know, whole life insurance.
- 12:15Speaker 9: But it was a death company, so it wasn't a
- 12:17Speaker 9: high levels though. And I used to wear penny loafers.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Okay, back to a penny.
- 12:21Speaker 9: Sears came out with a suit, a khaki suit.
- 12:25Speaker 4: I don't know if anybody remembers this. That came with
- 12:29Speaker 4: a badge.
- 12:30Speaker 9: And whenever you had to clean the suit, you put
- 12:34Speaker 9: the suit in the bag and you put the whole
- 12:36Speaker 9: bag in the Washington shuit.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Okay, No, it was a khaki suit.
- 12:40Speaker 9: About to remember that now, I ain't ever heard that.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That's okay, interesting Jr.
- 12:46Speaker 9: You probably wasn't born yet whatever to give a damn.
- 12:53Speaker 9: It was either Seals or J. C. Pennies. One of
- 12:55Speaker 9: them had a suit, a khaki suit. You can only
- 12:58Speaker 9: get it in khaki. Ain't come no other coming. What
- 13:01Speaker 9: it got it dirty, You put it in this red
- 13:04Speaker 9: bag and you do the whole bag in.
- 13:06Speaker 4: The Washington Let me tell you something, Yeah, don't say
- 13:13Speaker 4: all that. No more penny loafers. What huh, what with that?
- 13:20Speaker 4: In the penny loafers. That's where my life was.
- 13:24Speaker 9: I wore penny loafers with a penny in it, and
- 13:26Speaker 9: I wore a kaki suit from Seals that you can
- 13:28Speaker 9: wash in the bag hardly.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Don't rest of me in washing a suit in the bag, reude.
- 13:34Speaker 7: Geez.
- 13:36Speaker 10: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 10: we'll run that prank back with Junior in for the
- 13:42Speaker 10: nephew right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 5: You're listening Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 10: It is time now to run that prank back with
- 13:50Speaker 10: Junior in for the nephew.
- 13:51Speaker 1: What you got for it's Junior.
- 13:53Speaker 11: When y'all tell me that he don't work here no more,
- 13:55Speaker 11: I feel better because he ain't in here.
- 13:57Speaker 4: So it is run that prank back. Your baby got
- 14:00Speaker 4: my baby name? But I know timmy fire, you ain't.
- 14:06Speaker 12: Two weeks on the vacation time.
- 14:11Speaker 4: I am.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Come on, hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a Patricia. Patricia,
- 14:23Speaker 3: who is it? How you doing? Listen? My name is
- 14:26Speaker 3: Floyd Floyd. I want to give you a call. You
- 14:28Speaker 3: your daughter she attends middle school? Right?
- 14:31Speaker 13: Okay, what's your name again?
- 14:32Speaker 3: Floyd Floyd?
- 14:34Speaker 14: Okay?
- 14:34Speaker 13: What can I just fight you.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Uh, well, like I said, your your daughter she goes
- 14:37Speaker 3: she do go to middle school, right yeah, okay, her name,
- 14:41Speaker 3: her name is Derek.
- 14:42Speaker 14: Why you need to know that?
- 14:44Speaker 3: Okay, Well, ain't something wrong or something? No, no, no, no,
- 14:48Speaker 3: nothing wrong. I mean I don't mean the alarm. Ye're
- 14:50Speaker 3: nothing like that. But let me see what you calling me. Well,
- 14:54Speaker 3: here here's the situation. My daughter actually goes to middle
- 14:58Speaker 3: school along along which with your daughter. Okay, And and
- 15:03Speaker 3: it's it's a bit of a problem that that that
- 15:05Speaker 3: has arisen that me and my wife just found out about.
- 15:07Speaker 13: Okay, what they have some issues Derek and you in
- 15:11Speaker 13: some kind of like trouble or something.
- 15:13Speaker 3: No no, no, no, nothing like that.
- 15:16Speaker 13: But I say, you don't food with nobody at that school.
- 15:18Speaker 13: She don't mess with nobody. She own the honor row
- 15:21Speaker 13: and everything. I don't have no problems out of Derreka,
- 15:23Speaker 13: right like none.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Okay, now let me no, let me tell you, miss
- 15:29Speaker 3: miss Patricia, what the problem is. See, my daughter name
- 15:32Speaker 3: is Dereka.
- 15:33Speaker 13: Okay.
- 15:34Speaker 3: So, and and it just blew me and my wife
- 15:37Speaker 3: away that it was another Dereka that went to the school.
- 15:41Speaker 13: Okay, all right, So I don't know too many Derekase,
- 15:43Speaker 13: that's the unique name. That's cute.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Okay, right, right, Well here's the problem. Me and my
- 15:49Speaker 3: wife Actually, you know, when it was time to name
- 15:51Speaker 3: my child, we thought we was really picking the name
- 15:54Speaker 3: that nobody would have a pick out for their daughter,
- 15:57Speaker 3: and to have another Derek in the school that lewis
- 16:00Speaker 3: to wait and I guess the real reason why I'm
- 16:03Speaker 3: trying to call you, miss Patricia c is if if
- 16:06Speaker 3: there's something maybe we can work out, you know, maybe
- 16:10Speaker 3: like your Dereka does middle name or nickname she can
- 16:14Speaker 3: be called by in opposed to both of them being Derek.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You really want to our child to be the only
- 16:20Speaker 3: one with this name?
- 16:21Speaker 15: Okay?
- 16:21Speaker 13: Wait, wait, wait, wait? Now you calling me and you
- 16:25Speaker 13: asking me to change my baby's name.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Well, I mean you you ain't really got to legally
- 16:30Speaker 3: change I mean we just start calling us something else,
- 16:32Speaker 3: you know.
- 16:32Speaker 13: No, no, wait a minute, say what you the name
- 16:35Speaker 13: in police or something? Do you know how many ands
- 16:39Speaker 13: and lit with this? And Patricia's out there? What if
- 16:41Speaker 13: I asked everything in the United States to change their
- 16:44Speaker 13: name from Patricia? You know how crazy that is?
- 16:47Speaker 3: And I understand that you must be on drugs. Now
- 16:50Speaker 3: what I'm trying to say, is you know this is
- 16:52Speaker 3: something that we really have. Our baby girl was this
- 16:54Speaker 3: name and we didn't want nobody else to have this.
- 16:56Speaker 3: So does Yo Derek have a middle name she can use?
- 17:00Speaker 13: No, we gonna call her Dereka like we've been calling.
- 17:02Speaker 13: You name your baby d D. Let's call your baby
- 17:05Speaker 13: d D.
- 17:05Speaker 15: Is you change y'all?
- 17:07Speaker 13: Y'all change y'all baby name at the school.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'm not calling. I'm not calling.
- 17:11Speaker 13: I don't give what you call it, but I'm not
- 17:13Speaker 13: changing my baby name.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Hey, listen, Okay, look, I'm trying to call you and
- 17:17Speaker 3: handle this like adults, you know, but you're seeing the
- 17:19Speaker 3: sit You're gonna push my foot and to take me
- 17:21Speaker 3: to another level.
- 17:22Speaker 13: You ain't calling me trying to handle You can just
- 17:24Speaker 13: ask me to change my baby name, call my baby
- 17:27Speaker 13: something else at the school because y'all want y'all baby
- 17:29Speaker 13: name to be Derek and the only Derek in the school. Hey,
- 17:32Speaker 13: you know how many other kids at the damn school got

- 20:35Speaker 4: know it. I mean, will you let me have fifteen
- 20:38Speaker 4: days in a row?
- 20:39Speaker 9: Up?
- 20:39Speaker 11: Can I just take fifteen?
- 20:42Speaker 5: Right there?
- 20:43Speaker 4: I knew it. You used up all your days with
- 20:46Speaker 4: CHRISTI thank you.
- 20:49Speaker 10: Coming up next to it is asked to see you, Lord,
- 20:53Speaker 10: you're listening hard Morning Show coming up at the top
- 20:57Speaker 10: of the hour and Entertainment news. Tim Braxton reportedly wants
- 21:01Speaker 10: to leave Atlanta after a car robbery. Megan this Stallion
- 21:06Speaker 10: says she's starting a new chapter in her life and
- 21:09Speaker 10: little Ken says she did not approve of the Ebony
- 21:12Speaker 10: magazine cover. We'll talk about all of these stories at
- 21:15Speaker 10: the top of the hour, but right now it is
- 21:17Speaker 10: time to ask the clo.
- 21:20Speaker 1: This is from Brenn in Saint Paul.
- 21:23Speaker 10: Brenn writes, my son's first grade teacher can't stand me,
- 21:26Speaker 10: so I asked that he'd be moved out of her class.
- 21:29Speaker 10: I have problems with her when my older son was
- 21:32Speaker 10: in her class. She shouldn't be allowed to teach black
- 21:35Speaker 10: kids at all. How do I get the principal to
- 21:38Speaker 10: hear me out?
- 21:40Speaker 4: Oh, oh, so you want to play the race card.
- 21:46Speaker 9: Oh, she shouldn't be allowed to teach black kids at all. Well,
- 21:54Speaker 9: I deal with that quite differently. So we can't get
- 21:57Speaker 9: into what I do. Because when Winter was a little
- 22:00Speaker 9: boy that we had a problem at the school that
- 22:03Speaker 9: I thought was race, and it was it was. It
- 22:06Speaker 9: was a little white boy that used to bully win
- 22:10Speaker 9: to and he was step on his hand.
- 22:12Speaker 4: He was a bigger boy, and he step on his hand.
- 22:15Speaker 9: And went to come home and show me his hand
- 22:17Speaker 9: that this boy he stepped on my hand when I
- 22:19Speaker 9: be on play fround. So you know, I was trying
- 22:22Speaker 9: to teach my son to, you know, whoop his ass.
- 22:25Speaker 4: But I couldn't quite get that across.
- 22:27Speaker 9: To him because my kids didn't go to school where
- 22:30Speaker 9: you had to whoop ass. I did, and so I
- 22:34Speaker 9: had to go up to the school and I explained
- 22:37Speaker 9: to the teacher what I thought the problem was, and
- 22:41Speaker 9: then I asked for a meeting with the administration, which
- 22:44Speaker 9: was the principal, and I had the boy's father come
- 22:47Speaker 9: up to the school and then that's when I introduced
- 22:51Speaker 9: him to what racism looks like. And I don't know
- 22:55Speaker 9: if you're gonna want to do that, because I wore
- 22:57Speaker 9: a white T shirt up to the school with a
- 22:59Speaker 9: big N on the front up and then we started
- 23:02Speaker 9: the meeting like that, Yes, this is a true story.
- 23:06Speaker 9: You became then when I was in there then, So
- 23:10Speaker 9: you're not gonna do that. So now let's get back
- 23:12Speaker 9: to what you should do.
- 23:15Speaker 1: This is not another student.
- 23:17Speaker 4: So now what that's the only racism, uh story? I had?
- 23:20Speaker 1: So you can't help Brend. Is that what you're saying?
- 23:23Speaker 9: All my other racism I was in college and I
- 23:26Speaker 9: handled it with violence, So I don't have it. I
- 23:29Speaker 9: ain't never had a teacher. All the teachers didn't like
- 23:31Speaker 9: me because I was black. I wasn't doing good in
- 23:33Speaker 9: school nowhere. My els was earned, So I can't really
- 23:37Speaker 9: claim that on racism. I just I turned in bad
- 23:39Speaker 9: and work, all right. What I'm saying is all you
- 23:43Speaker 9: should do is you should demand a meeting, yeah, with
- 23:47Speaker 9: the superintendent and the principal in school, and start building
- 23:51Speaker 9: a fire. And if it's right, right and justified, then
- 23:55Speaker 9: you have a case and maybe they could reprimmend and
- 23:58Speaker 9: she'll start being walking a little bit more like. But
- 24:01Speaker 9: you little baby ain't finn to be stopped being black.
- 24:04Speaker 9: Welcome to America, all right.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Moving on, thank you.
- 24:08Speaker 10: Moving on to Aliyah in Indianapolis, got Aliah, what are
- 24:14Speaker 10: you thinking? Alia writes, I've been with my fiance for
- 24:17Speaker 10: five years and he told me that he possibly has
- 24:20Speaker 10: a two year old daughter.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I have a three year old with.
- 24:23Speaker 10: Him, and I plan to marry him and continue loving him.
- 24:26Speaker 10: How do I convince him to take the DNA test
- 24:29Speaker 10: so we can move ast this?
- 24:31Speaker 9: Well, look, if he's telling you he think he got
- 24:35Speaker 9: a daughter, it's pod because he got more. Now, how
- 24:38Speaker 9: do I convince him to do a DNA Well, you know,
- 24:41Speaker 9: child supporters is if it ain't hit.
- 24:44Speaker 4: It's coming.
- 24:44Speaker 9: So I mean, you know now you don already said
- 24:47Speaker 9: you're gonna stay with him and you can love it.
- 24:49Speaker 9: Y'all need to just go ahead on. You're not finna
- 24:52Speaker 9: break up with him. He being honest and bought this
- 24:55Speaker 9: to you. So all you got to convince him to
- 24:58Speaker 9: do a DNA test to But first he was testing
- 25:01Speaker 9: the waters. I think I might have a two year
- 25:03Speaker 9: old daughter. He's trying to see how that's gonna lay
- 25:06Speaker 9: out there first. Then if you cool with it, he'll
- 25:09Speaker 9: take the DNA. But you seem like you've already made
- 25:11Speaker 9: that necessary for testing. Good luck to both of you.
- 25:15Speaker 9: Life ain't perfect. You know, go ahead on. And he
- 25:18Speaker 9: told him truth, but you know and you can.
- 25:21Speaker 10: In some cases, yeah, because he was cheating and he
- 25:24Speaker 10: knew that it would come out eventually.
- 25:26Speaker 9: Yes, well, that ain't why he did it. The baby
- 25:30Speaker 9: ain't finding come out eventually. The baby hell right, see
- 25:35Speaker 9: you I don't I don't do the eventually. No, No,
- 25:40Speaker 9: you got the problem got to be here right before
- 25:43Speaker 9: we confess to ye, see the baby here. That's why
- 25:48Speaker 9: he figured. He don't figure you might get busted. The
- 25:51Speaker 9: bust is hill.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I think all right, moving.
- 25:58Speaker 10: On to Wilma and Huntsville, woman says, I was going
- 26:02Speaker 10: through my man's phone and I saw Texas between him
- 26:05Speaker 10: and his mom. He told her about our last argument,
- 26:09Speaker 10: and he asked her for advice on dealing with my attitude.
- 26:12Speaker 10: Should I be mad or let it go and be
- 26:14Speaker 10: grateful that he even cares.
- 26:16Speaker 12: That's the text between him and her mother, not his mother,
- 26:20Speaker 12: her mother.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Oh so he done went to your mama? Between him
- 26:26Speaker 4: and my mother.
- 26:27Speaker 16: Yeah, yeah, it was a text between him and the
- 26:34Speaker 16: girl's mama, and he was asked her for advice on
- 26:38Speaker 16: how to helen what you mad at him phone.
- 26:41Speaker 9: Damn, he went to your mama. He didn't even go
- 26:44Speaker 9: to his mama. He went to your mama, the one
- 26:46Speaker 9: that made you. Who would better know what's wrong with
- 26:50Speaker 9: you than the one who gave you birth and life?
- 26:55Speaker 9: So now he didne went to her going, hey, hey, hey, apple,
- 26:58Speaker 9: don't fall far from so let me ask you. So
- 27:02Speaker 9: it's crazy hell for him, that's what she did. This
- 27:06Speaker 9: is what she did. How do I handle this?
- 27:09Speaker 4: Right here?
- 27:10Speaker 9: Because he and he trying the problem solved, because figuring
- 27:13Speaker 9: women out is an impossible text.
- 27:16Speaker 1: He'll never be able to do that.
- 27:17Speaker 4: So he just trying to find some help.
- 27:20Speaker 9: Because brother, and listen to me, you will never have
- 27:26Speaker 9: a more difficult task your life than to try to
- 27:30Speaker 9: figure one of them.
- 27:32Speaker 10: And that's why she's asking should she be mad or
- 27:34Speaker 10: let it go and just be grateful that he even
- 27:36Speaker 10: cares enough to call.
- 27:39Speaker 9: All of them crazy though, all of them.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Every last one of them.
- 27:45Speaker 11: Yeah, her name Wilma already, So what age is we
- 27:51Speaker 11: looking at?
- 27:51Speaker 4: And how old them? Well, Wilma.
- 27:59Speaker 9: They just get it up in there, you know, because
- 28:01Speaker 9: they want to honor their grandmama and honor.
- 28:02Speaker 4: The great grandmama.
- 28:04Speaker 9: Baby, you go back, she texting her mama, So her
- 28:09Speaker 9: mama ain't all that old. Her mama was probably Wilma.
- 28:13Speaker 9: Mama could have been a mama, you know, sixteen something
- 28:16Speaker 9: like that.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You don't know.
- 28:17Speaker 9: She probably grandmama at thirty eight. So you know, you
- 28:20Speaker 9: just had to work through that. Sometimes that Wilma get
- 28:24Speaker 9: passed down, the pay tribute to grandmama's and stuff like that.
- 28:29Speaker 9: You know, it was a girl text us one time.
- 28:32Speaker 9: Her name was Ernestine. She was twenty five. You know,
- 28:38Speaker 9: it's some carryover right here. They had reached Lord Mercy,
- 28:45Speaker 9: I'm gonna name you after your great grandmama. Yeah. Man,
- 28:51Speaker 9: you you're sitting up been the job at of vocation.
- 28:53Speaker 9: They come out to get you out of the room.
- 28:56Speaker 9: Is here's it main up here?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Thank you, Celia. We gotta go.
- 29:07Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 29:08Speaker 10: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 29:13Speaker 10: Hardy Morning Show. Well, according to Hollywood Unlocked, Tamar Braxton
- 29:19Speaker 10: recently posted on an Instagram some footage of her car
- 29:22Speaker 10: being broken into at her luxury Atlanta apartment building parking garage,
- 29:27Speaker 10: and now Tamar is ready to move out of Atlanta altogether.
- 29:32Speaker 10: Tamar wrote quote, I hate it here. OMG. I mean
- 29:36Speaker 10: everyone is a target. You just don't know. Tamar feels
- 29:39Speaker 10: like she's being watched, but as a public figure, she
- 29:42Speaker 10: stands out even more. It might be difficult for Tamar
- 29:45Speaker 10: to relocate because she works for Dish Nation, which tapes
- 29:49Speaker 10: in Atlanta. And if you recall back in twenty twenty one,
- 29:52Speaker 10: she was robbed in calab Assa's I think so yeah.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well, nuts in crime.
- 30:02Speaker 9: It is everywhere crime, and you know it's no running
- 30:07Speaker 9: from that. We're in the falling world. You got robbed
- 30:10Speaker 9: in tlabasts you got robbed first of all. You know
- 30:13Speaker 9: when you do some precautionary stuff. Look y'all know you
- 30:19Speaker 9: can't leave no whole lot of stuff in your car overnight.
- 30:22Speaker 9: You can't leave no Christmas boxes on the front doorstep.
- 30:28Speaker 9: You got to get you a doughbell camera like everybody else.
- 30:33Speaker 9: It's things you have to do. You can't leave packages
- 30:37Speaker 9: in your car. I mean some of the stuff. And
- 30:39Speaker 9: I'm not blaming Tamark. She got victimized. Oh yeah, and
- 30:44Speaker 9: the looking.
- 30:44Speaker 4: At the tape. These low life ass people.
- 30:47Speaker 9: You can't have nothing no more without some butthole coming along.
- 30:52Speaker 9: It's too trifling to take their ass to work now.
- 30:55Speaker 9: They won't take what you got.
- 30:58Speaker 12: I mean, and on that video they just taking their
- 31:01Speaker 12: time through, like going through her stuff. This is terrible.
- 31:05Speaker 12: But you know you can't leave stuff in your car.
- 31:07Speaker 12: You can't leave a backpack in your car. Even tell
- 31:09Speaker 12: you that, don't leave nothing.
- 31:12Speaker 4: But Tamar, Tamar is a really cool person.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Man.
- 31:15Speaker 4: What Tamar should do is just settle down, refocus.
- 31:19Speaker 9: You can't keep moving and running, and you can't allow
- 31:24Speaker 9: people to upset your life with every little blow of
- 31:28Speaker 9: the wind.
- 31:29Speaker 4: You left calibas, you move to Atlanta, you go, you go,
- 31:33Speaker 4: what and listen to.
- 31:34Speaker 9: Me, here's you know? Well, okay, I don't know. I
- 31:40Speaker 9: don't want to sound. Look, probably your largest expense in
- 31:45Speaker 9: your life will beat your home purchase.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Yeah you know, nobody.
- 31:50Speaker 9: Yeah, And it's and it's a worthwhile investment because you
- 31:56Speaker 9: spend more time home than you do anywhere. Your off
- 31:59Speaker 9: days is home, when you sleep at home, and it's
- 32:02Speaker 9: the place you go to recuperate, rejuvenate. You've got to
- 32:06Speaker 9: put yourself in the safest environment that you can. But
- 32:13Speaker 9: we all know crime got car keys. Even if you
- 32:18Speaker 9: move out way. Our criminals have car keys. They drive now,
- 32:27Speaker 9: so they can find you. But try to limit your exposure.
- 32:32Speaker 9: Get yourself in a secure garage, especially if you're a
- 32:37Speaker 9: high profile person, and if you're a single woman. You've
- 32:43Speaker 9: got to protect yourself with as many measures as you
- 32:46Speaker 9: can afford to do. And your safety and and and
- 32:50Speaker 9: well being and peace of mind is worth a little
- 32:54Speaker 9: extra money.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Because peace of mind, man is priceless.
- 33:00Speaker 11: Can't find Steve Harvey right now.
- 33:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not.
- 33:06Speaker 9: I'm not, Look man, I don't yeah, yeah, I don't
- 33:10Speaker 9: live behind no castle walls.
- 33:12Speaker 4: I ain't got no moat around my house. I wish
- 33:14Speaker 4: you to live.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I still have to live.
- 33:17Speaker 4: I do want to mote, though, I want.
- 33:19Speaker 10: To dig all right?
- 33:25Speaker 4: Had you in half? You belsh.
- 33:31Speaker 3: All?
- 33:32Speaker 10: Moving on to Meg the Stallion did a recent interview
- 33:36Speaker 10: on entertainment tonight. She addressed to Justin Timberlake issue at
- 33:39Speaker 10: the VMAs Plus. Megan said she's staying off social media,
- 33:42Speaker 10: and she says she loves herself take a listen.
- 33:44Speaker 17: And it took me a while to I always like
- 33:47Speaker 17: to think of myself as a confident person. I always
- 33:50Speaker 17: like to thought that I didn't care about much. I
- 33:51Speaker 17: thought I was nonchalant. But it took me to go
- 33:53Speaker 17: through things where so many people were talking about me
- 33:55Speaker 17: constantly to where I had to realize, Okay, maf you
- 33:58Speaker 17: know that's nonchalant to care for you as you thought
- 34:00Speaker 17: you was. So I had to take a step back
- 34:02Speaker 17: reevaluate myself. I had to get in a comfortable position
- 34:07Speaker 17: with myself, and now I genuinely can say I'm in
- 34:10Speaker 17: love with Megan.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Good for her.
- 34:14Speaker 12: She says she stayed off social media in that interview too,
- 34:18Speaker 12: that's good.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Good for her. She went through a lot and finally
- 34:22Speaker 1: in entertainment news.
- 34:23Speaker 10: Ebony Magazine released a release multiple covers for their Hip
- 34:27Speaker 10: hop fiftieth anniversary issue. Lil Kim, Buster Rhymes, Swiss Beats,
- 34:32Speaker 10: Rick Ross, and fifty Cent were all featured. However, Kim
- 34:35Speaker 10: and some of her fans aren't feeling her cover. One
- 34:38Speaker 10: person wrote, whoever did the editing needs to be fired? Okay,
- 34:42Speaker 10: Little Kim's cover shot appears to have a lot a
- 34:45Speaker 10: lot of airbrushing. The photography director Keith Major has responded
- 34:50Speaker 10: to the backlash and said Little Kim wanted to be
- 34:52Speaker 10: in She wanted to be in charge of her own
- 34:55Speaker 10: retouching for her Ebony Magazine cover.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna start doing that.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yeah, on a lot of magazine covers.
- 35:05Speaker 9: What are you gonna I'm gonna get on now. I

- 50:39Speaker 14: I done been here. I tell you what I'm gonna do.
- 50:41Speaker 14: I go out there and I temp slapped this little
- 50:43Speaker 14: fem okay, and then I find out who his boss
- 50:46Speaker 14: is or whoever the Nesty votes to beach and kick
- 50:48Speaker 14: hit because I ain't giving up nothing. And this is
- 50:51Speaker 14: them talking about job y'all with the wrong one, okay,
- 50:53Speaker 14: with the wrong one at this time.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Abody, you're talking about beating the vice president's nephew. You're
- 51:00Speaker 3: you're losing control here, Jason.
- 51:02Speaker 14: No, I ain't losing nothing. I'm the only thing control
- 51:04Speaker 14: I'm gonna lose. And when I kick it, how that sounds?
- 51:06Speaker 14: And I'm gonna kick the boat to see all of them?
- 51:09Speaker 14: How that sounds? And that makes it sound clear for you.
- 51:11Speaker 3: No, We're trying to just give you someplace to be
- 51:14Speaker 3: temporarily until I find you another slot.
- 51:17Speaker 14: Ain't no other slot. My slot is my slot.
- 51:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna kick it.
- 51:21Speaker 14: Give ratt not how that sound to you.
- 51:27Speaker 3: All I'm asking is I need your key card and
- 51:29Speaker 3: I need the key to the office. Get all your
- 51:31Speaker 3: things out so I can get Victor moved in within
- 51:33Speaker 3: the next week.
- 51:34Speaker 14: Ain't no keys, okay, all of them. I don't give
- 51:37Speaker 14: a how that sounds. I don't care nothing about them. Okay,
- 51:40Speaker 14: because I see you gonna make me somebody out here today. Okay,
- 51:44Speaker 14: I'm tired of it and this ain't gonna happen to me.
- 51:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna get security to come over and walk you out. Okay.
- 51:49Speaker 14: No, ain't no security for to walk me no way
- 51:51Speaker 14: how that sounds. I came here, ain't buy myself. Ain't
- 51:54Speaker 14: nobody said to walk me up out in?
- 51:55Speaker 3: Are you having problems moving out for the nephew.
- 51:57Speaker 14: The nephew okay, the nephew is not gonna come in here.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Take Okay, there's another nephew that you need to be
- 52:03Speaker 3: aware of. Do you know who the other nephew is?
- 52:06Speaker 14: Hell no, I ain't never seen no other nephew. I
- 52:08Speaker 14: ain't know that was a nephew.
- 52:09Speaker 3: Let me tell you who the other one is.
- 52:10Speaker 14: Who the other one is the other one is.

- 52:26Speaker 14: Tommy Man. Y'all need to put that man. Man, y'all
- 52:29Speaker 14: don't know how long the brother man I worked I
- 52:31Speaker 14: worked up man. Hey, man, I ain't me just.
- 52:34Speaker 3: This baby, y'all.
- 52:35Speaker 14: But man, Man, y'all.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Got me good man, I got you, man, I got
- 52:38Speaker 3: I got one thing to ask you, man, what's the
- 52:40Speaker 3: baddest radio show in the.

- 52:50Speaker 11: Y'all new boss with Tommy hands. I'm telling you, I
- 52:52Speaker 11: know it.
- 52:55Speaker 4: His boss on vacation. This is not vacation. We all here,
- 53:01Speaker 4: we do have time.
- 53:02Speaker 9: Take it, Tommy, I mean, junior, why don't you take
- 53:07Speaker 9: advantage of the situation.
- 53:09Speaker 4: I need all my time for crisis.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I can't.
- 53:14Speaker 4: You don't have to use did I start hurting?
- 53:17Speaker 11: I got to take off, so I got to take off.
- 53:20Speaker 1: But you don't have to use your vacation days. All right,
- 53:24Speaker 1: You're never gonna solve this. Coming up next the same time.
- 53:29Speaker 4: I got off.
- 53:32Speaker 10: Coming up next, it is today's Strawberry Letter. The subject
- 53:35Speaker 10: is scratchy and stubbly, but I love him. We'll get
- 53:38Speaker 10: into that right after this. You're listening hard Morning Show.

- 53:53Speaker 10: click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter
- 53:56Speaker 10: live on the air, just like we're gonna read this
- 53:59Speaker 10: one right here, right now, and you never know, it
- 54:01Speaker 10: could be yours.
- 54:03Speaker 4: It could be yours.
- 54:05Speaker 11: He really could leads doing the time of the Strawberry,
- 54:08Speaker 11: A little of my good friend, Shirley Strawberry.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Thank you, my good friend.
- 54:11Speaker 10: Junior's subject scratchy and stubby, but I love him just
- 54:15Speaker 10: Stephen Shirley. I'm forty two years old and I've rekindled
- 54:19Speaker 10: an old flame with a man from my past. I
- 54:22Speaker 10: ran into him at the grocery store and he was
- 54:26Speaker 10: wearing a skull cap and hoodie because it was a
- 54:28Speaker 10: cold and rainy day. I was so excited to see
- 54:31Speaker 10: him that I didn't focus in on his ungroomed facial hair.
- 54:35Speaker 10: He asked me to meet him at a juice bar
- 54:36Speaker 10: so we would catch up. We could catch up, and
- 54:39Speaker 10: that's when I realized how much he has changed over
- 54:42Speaker 10: the years. He showed up with the same skull cap
- 54:45Speaker 10: on and I asked to see his hair. It was
- 54:48Speaker 10: a big bush of naps and he hadn't combed in
- 54:50Speaker 10: a while. He told me he washes it daily and
- 54:53Speaker 10: lets it do whatever it wants to do. After that,
- 54:56Speaker 10: he is very handsome, but he needs a haircut and
- 54:59Speaker 10: he needs to s shave. The patches of hair on
- 55:01Speaker 10: his face. I cannot even call it a beard. It's
- 55:05Speaker 10: scratchy and stubby. And if he kisses me. It's painful.
- 55:09Speaker 10: So I'm sure you're going to wonder why I continue
- 55:12Speaker 10: to go out with this man that doesn't groom himself.
- 55:14Speaker 10: It's been almost a year since we've reconnected, and it
- 55:17Speaker 10: was a long winter last year. I was tired of
- 55:20Speaker 10: being alone and cooking for just me, so I started
- 55:25Speaker 10: seeing him regularly to pass the time. And I'm fallen
- 55:28Speaker 10: and I've fallen back in love with him despite the prickly,
- 55:32Speaker 10: itchy sex. I asked him if he'd consider cutting down
- 55:36Speaker 10: his back hair, his leg hair, and his underarm hair
- 55:40Speaker 10: a little bit, and he said it's not the manly
- 55:42Speaker 10: thing to do. He sees how his body hair leaves
- 55:47Speaker 10: find scratches all over my body, but he still won't
- 55:51Speaker 10: groom himself. He's a clean man and he smells wonderful,
- 55:55Speaker 10: but I'm sick of the scratchy, stubby sex. Since he
- 55:59Speaker 10: won't compromise, Is it a sign that he doesn't care
- 56:01Speaker 10: about me?
- 56:03Speaker 1: Is this just a fling to him?
- 56:05Speaker 10: Well, I just say forget about what it is to him,
- 56:09Speaker 10: because this is about you. You're dating and sleeping with
- 56:13Speaker 10: a man whose body hair leaves scratches all over you.
- 56:18Speaker 10: Why I mean this has to be painful. It has
- 56:20Speaker 10: to be uncomfortable for you. Does he care about you?
- 56:23Speaker 10: You asked, Well, he must not care about your feelings,
- 56:27Speaker 10: or he would shave quickly, itchy stubbly. Sex is not
- 56:31Speaker 10: good sex that period. You don't have to do this.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You don't have to be with him.
- 56:36Speaker 10: Have you thought of stopping the intimacy until he shaves
- 56:39Speaker 10: and grooms himself? Otherwise you're just taking whatever he gives
- 56:43Speaker 10: you and not getting what you want. You want a clean,
- 56:46Speaker 10: well shaven, well groomed man, and that's not too much
- 56:50Speaker 10: to ask. You say, he won't compromise, and yet you're
- 56:53Speaker 10: compromising way too much. And what does he mean it's
- 56:57Speaker 10: not manly. It's very manly to shave and groom yourself,
- 57:00Speaker 10: very much so. And most clean men, do you know,
- 57:04Speaker 10: They may not do it all the time every day,
- 57:06Speaker 10: but they certainly groom themselves and shave. You're only staying
- 57:10Speaker 10: with him because you don't want to be alone. And
- 57:13Speaker 10: I'm sorry, that's just not a good enough reason. You
- 57:16Speaker 10: can do better, Steve.
- 57:19Speaker 9: Well, Well, so this is the first letter in all
- 57:26Speaker 9: the years of doing the Strawberry Letter. Uh huh, Well,
- 57:30Speaker 9: a woman is dayton a superhero, a superhero. The fact
- 57:37Speaker 9: what you're Dayton Wolverine. Really, it's fascinating to me. You're
- 57:46Speaker 9: saying all the right things and wrong things at the
- 57:51Speaker 9: same time, and that I don't understand. So let this
- 57:56Speaker 9: be a lesson to all women who are compromised. But
- 58:00Speaker 9: you have to understand what a compromise is. A compromise
- 58:04Speaker 9: means you give a little, they give a little. You
- 58:09Speaker 9: all meet in the middle, and that is the comp
- 58:12Speaker 9: pro mind. That's how it's done.
- 58:17Speaker 4: You give, he give.
- 58:20Speaker 9: You're doing all the giving, and the giveing he doing
- 58:26Speaker 9: is only enough to BENEFITEO. You rekindle a relationship with
- 58:30Speaker 9: a guy used to day you're forty two, You saying
- 58:34Speaker 9: the letters. You've been a long winner. You're tired of
- 58:36Speaker 9: cooking for yourself and tie of being alone. That ain't
- 58:41Speaker 9: no reason to just take anybody in anything. Come on now,
- 58:49Speaker 9: tied to being I get it, but come on, you
- 58:53Speaker 9: gotta think more of yourself. Matter at the grocery store
- 58:56Speaker 9: had a skull cap in the hoodie because it was
- 58:57Speaker 9: cold and raining. To seem you didn't focus on his
- 59:02Speaker 9: ungroomed facial hair.
- 59:04Speaker 4: You ain't see that.
- 59:07Speaker 9: If I'm were you and I'm forty two and I
- 59:09Speaker 9: run up in the woman I ain't seen in a while.
- 59:12Speaker 4: I promise you I would notice her facial hand. I'll
- 59:17Speaker 4: give you my damn word on me.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Ain't don't wear a hell.
- 59:24Speaker 4: David, I'm gonna not notice this.
- 59:29Speaker 9: He asked me to meet him at a juice bar
- 59:31Speaker 9: so we could catch up, and then that's when you
- 59:34Speaker 9: realize how much he's changed over you. He showed up
- 59:37Speaker 9: with the same skull cap on. I asked to see
- 59:40Speaker 9: his hair. It was a big bush of naps that
- 59:43Speaker 9: he ain't calmed in a while. He told me he
- 59:45Speaker 9: washed it daily and let it do whatever you want
- 59:48Speaker 9: to do. Next line, he is very handsome. What what
- 59:58Speaker 9: did I just read?
- 59:59Speaker 4: The same.
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: You said he had a big bush and naps that
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: he ain't combed in a while. He ain't combed his hand.
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: What he told you he washed it daily and he
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: let it do whatever he want to do?
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: After that? Is he wearing the halftl of the halfstyle win?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Hang on, we'll find out.
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:29Speaker 10: stubby and scratchy, but I love him. We'll get back
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: into that right after this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: All right, Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: The subject is scratchy and stubby, but I love him.
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: Letty ran up into an old flame one day, had
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: a hoodie on the skull caps. She was so excited
- 1:00:50Speaker 9: to see she didn't notice the ungloomed facial hair. I
- 1:00:55Speaker 9: said earlier, and I will repeat. If I'm forty two
- 1:00:58Speaker 9: and I run up in a woman and I ain't
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: seen in a while, and I see her at the
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: grocery store, I can assure you I will notice and
- 1:01:05Speaker 9: pay attention to her ungrown facial hair. I'm gonna know this.
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: I'm gonna know this right here. You're a woman and
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: you got some damn facial hair. I fin to know that.
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: I'm fin to know that. I'm gonna have to take note.
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: I don't know what didnt happened, But then and then
- 1:01:25Speaker 9: he asked me to meet him at the juice bar,
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: so we can catch up at that point. If I
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: see a woman and I'm forty two, and she got
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: facial hair, I ain't seen it in a while. She's
- 1:01:34Speaker 9: down at the juice bar by her. Damn, we ain't
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: got to go down here and catch up on nothing.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: I done caught up. I seen what I oh.
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: I ain't gonna hurt your feelings and say no, I
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: ain't gonna meet you, but I ain't coming to the
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: juice bar. You ain't seen then the while, you ain't
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: got my note. It's called ghosting, all right. So she
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: get down there. She ain't seen the Why I got
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: the same scull cap on. You asked to see his hair.
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: It was a big bush and naps, and he ain't
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: calmed it in a while. He told me washington every
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: day and let it do what it do. After that
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: next line, he is very handsome. Damn, you ain't that line.
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: I'm not gonna see what she I told you. She
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: making a lot of statements. I don't understand. Ran up
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: into a guy you ain't seen a while. You didn't
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: notice his ungroom, facial hand. I run up into a
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: woman I ain't seen it in a while. I'm gonna notice
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: any facial hair. I don't give a damn what if
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: there's one. It's this one curl coming off your chin.
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: I'm gonna pick up on that. I'm gonna notice that,
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: and I'm gonna make mental note of it. Now you
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: do dated this man that don't calm wash, don't comb
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: his hair, don't let it do nothing. It is looking
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: nappy to you. It looks untain. And then right after
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: that you say, and he's very handsome.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: How you know? He might be? But how do you know?
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: But he needs a haircut, and he needs to shave
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: the patches of hair on his face. I can't even
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: call it a beer to scratch he and stubbly. If
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: he kisses me, it's pain. So I'm sure you're going
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: to wonder why I continue to go out with this
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: man that doesn't groom himself. Everybody wanted that. Everybody listening
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: to the Strawberry letup? What are you doing? You're going
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: out with the man that doesn't groom himself? What now
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: it goes crazy. It's been a year since we reconnected,
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: and it was a long winter last year. I was
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: tired of being alone and cooking just for me, so
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: I took Wolverine in. He was out in the cold,
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: living in a cave, and I decided, come on, Wolverine,
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: you ain't got to live in a cave no more.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Come on over here and stay with me.
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: So I started seeing him regularly to pass the time,
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: and I've fallen back in love with him.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Yes, I'm in love with a superhan.
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: I'm in love with him despite the prickly, itchy sets
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: most animals have, harry prickly wild set. I saw a
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: video two Kowala bears having set. They were tearing his
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: skin off each other's back, and I guess, you know,
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: for if I'm a wild ass animal, and that's what
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: it is, that's what it is. I've seen a line
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: climb up on the line this and hand set and
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: bite it on the back of her neck.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: I've seen that on PEV folks. That ain't what I want.
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: Bob Albert was doing this women though he was fighting
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: women while he was having such as just being have
- 1:04:33Speaker 9: a little line ass moments and stuff like that. It's
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: just I'm just not in all that, like Thateve. I'm
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: just going to he Hey, this is my turn with
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: this letter. I'm just telling you, and you said I'm
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: in love with him despite prickly itchy sex. Nobody won't
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: that but you. I asked him if he considered listening
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: to this cutting down his back hair leg hair and underarmed.
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: Heir, what so it just ain't on his face?
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: You done went out with sash Squatch or whatever his
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: name is, Bigfoot, You done make big foot and just
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: and it's just and under and had a little bit
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: and he said, it's not the manly thing to do,
- 1:05:22Speaker 9: or damn dog, it is grooming and taking care of yourself.
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: Is cutting your hair? All this is manly? I don't
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: is he familiar with this? Does the thing that thowns
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: called the black Man's country Club, It's called the bober Shop.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: He spent a lot of time down.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: There because we have to groom ourself and then we
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: have to honor our woman's wishes. Anyway, he sees how
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: his body had leaves, fine scratches all over my body.
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: And he still won't groom himself, but you still letting
- 1:05:53Speaker 9: him climb on it, girl body. He's a clean man
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: and he smells wonderful. What but I'm of the scratchy,
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: stubbly sex. Since he won't compromise this it a side
- 1:06:04Speaker 9: that he don't care about me? Absolutely good, Damn what
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: you think? This is who I am? Just what I am,
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: Just what I'm giving you? Taking a lead, Stop having
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: sex with him till he groomed himself. Now, if he
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: decides he'd rather stay ungroomed and have sex with you,
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: he'd rather be scratchy, itally, itchy and prickly than to
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: have sex with you or to be with you. You
- 1:06:23Speaker 9: can find this out right away. Stop having sex with
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: him until he grooms himself. If he won't groom himself,
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: then y'all finish having.

- 1:07:04Speaker 11: the Steelers.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Horrible injury. Horrible, horrible injury.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: I felt so bad from that young guy, man horrible.
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: It was horrific. It was so bad. ESPN wouldn't even
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: show it. Oh yes, but the pictures, the steel pictures
- 1:07:17Speaker 9: of the actual man. This brother's leg was bent in
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: a way I've never seen that before.
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: Oh wow, didn't look good at all. And on top
- 1:07:28Speaker 11: of that, Kareem Hunt though paid a visit to the Browns.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Would you take him today? That bucket ball though?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Man that day right now?
- 1:07:42Speaker 11: Also up, man, let's go get to it, man, Dean Sanders.
- 1:07:45Speaker 11: In the Buffaloes, Colorada, Buffalo is going up against or.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: Again number this would be their toughest test.
- 1:07:52Speaker 11: Yes they twenty one point underdogs Colorado Colorado is yes.
- 1:07:57Speaker 9: Yeah they They was twenty one point under dog against
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: Tulane too, but they had Travis Hunter. But they had
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: Travis Hunter, Trafford Hunter. Travis Hunter is out. It's gonna
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: be tough now that late hinter. This boy is getting
- 1:08:15Speaker 9: these death threat He doesn't deserve death threats for that
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: late hit.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: But here's the problem.
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: Any other time they review stuff, like if there's a
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: fight in the NFL or colleague, they review it even
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: after the game is over and they hand out suspensions.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: They now review targeting.
- 1:08:35Speaker 9: And if they missed the call on the field, they
- 1:08:39Speaker 9: review targeting and put people out. This was a blatant
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: late hit. Absolutely, Why nothing has happened to this player
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: is beyond me, especially with the severity of the injury
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: they've got.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: This guy got. Yeah, man, because that's a late hit.
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: Y'all missed it on the field, but if you miss targeting,
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: you go.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: I can review that.
- 1:09:01Speaker 9: They review fights and issue punishments a week after the
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: game over with, and that if they had given something
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: to this guy that I believe that would squash the
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: death threats. Now that death threats are unfair. It's unfair because.
- 1:09:16Speaker 12: It's a football came out against that. He spoke to
- 1:09:20Speaker 12: He said, stop that, yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:22Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, well man, let's talk about this. Giants
- 1:09:25Speaker 11: forty nine is tonight? Who you got forty nine?
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: Giants can't be What is we talking about?
- 1:09:33Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: What we're doing it for? Party? Samuel defense? You know
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Saquan Is he hurt? Yeah, he's out. We were talking
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: about folk.
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: What is.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Come on?
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: Sports?
- 1:09:51Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: All right? Upset? Game of the Week Colorado, Oregon? Okay, okay,
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: let's not.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Coach Money's on. Coach Prime are coming up. At the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: top of the hour.
- 1:10:04Speaker 10: A woman needs some social media advice Steve, her boyfriend
- 1:10:07Speaker 10: doesn't listen when she says she won't marry again. We'll
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: talk about it right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:17Speaker 10: All right, Steve Leslie on Facebook Rights. I got married
- 1:10:20Speaker 10: young and we had a son when I was twenty.
- 1:10:22Speaker 10: My husband was emotionally abusive and we divorced after three years.
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: I've been dating my current boyfriend for five years now,
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: and he's a wonderful man, and my son adores him.
- 1:10:33Speaker 10: I've told him many times that I don't ever want
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: to get married again, but he basically just ignores what
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: I say and talks about how we will get married
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: one day. Last night, I told him that if getting
- 1:10:44Speaker 10: married is important to him, then we should break up,
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: and he left mad and didn't come home. I'm worried
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: about how this is going to affect my son. I
- 1:10:53Speaker 10: don't really want to break up with my boyfriend, but
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: if I refuse to ever get married again, what should
- 1:10:58Speaker 10: I do?
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Well, tell a person what to do.
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: But sometimes you take the baggage and you carry it
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: too far. Why don't you give that baggage over to God.
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: He got you out of the mentally abusive relationship. That
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: doesn't mean all relationships are abusive. You being with this
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: guy for five years. You absolutely love him. He treats
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: your son wonderful. You're not in an abusive marriage, but
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: you're not an abusive relationship. But you think if you
- 1:11:29Speaker 9: get married, all of a sudden, this guy is going
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: to become what you had before. That's not fair to yourself, right,
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: It's not fair to your relationship with God. It's amazing
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: how God delivers us from things, and then we keep
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: revisiting it. God gets us through something and we keep
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: taking it with us. God get us over something, and
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: we keep wringing it back up. You can't drive your
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: car looking in the rear view mirror. So now you
- 1:11:59Speaker 9: want to resign yourself to being a girlfriend the rest
- 1:12:02Speaker 9: of your life when you clearly have a man who
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: wants to honor you, put a ring on your finger,
- 1:12:08Speaker 9: have a family, and treat you right. But you don't
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: want that because you was in a bad relationship.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Girl.
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: Come on, now, this is two separate dudes. He's proving
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: it for five years. Why would you not give.
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: Yourself, your child, your.
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: Family, your life a chance now if that's just not
- 1:12:29Speaker 9: what you want now, if you don't want to be married,
- 1:12:32Speaker 9: you don't like being in a monogamous relationship and committee it.
- 1:12:36Speaker 9: What's the boyfriend fault? See, I don't, you don't. It's okay.
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: Let me ask you a question, young lady. Is it
- 1:12:44Speaker 9: okay if your boyfriend see other people?
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: No?
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: Probably not, probably not. Okay? Are you trying to see
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: other people?
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: No?
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: She's cool, it is, yeah, okay, so cool.
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: I don't ever want to get married again, but you.
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: Want to act married. Yeah, I'm missing the point.
- 1:13:09Speaker 9: And for all of you women out there that's gonna
- 1:13:12Speaker 9: be hating on me talking about Steve. She ain't got
- 1:13:14Speaker 9: to get married or she don't want to, she don't.
- 1:13:17Speaker 9: But let's be honest about the reason why I want
- 1:13:22Speaker 9: to be somebody somebody, prince.
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to belong to somebody.
- 1:13:31Speaker 9: I want to be thought of first by somebody.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: You don't want that. You don't.
- 1:13:37Speaker 9: You don't want a man to put you on a
- 1:13:40Speaker 9: pedestal and honor you.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: You don't honesty? Why you would not want Yeah, she
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: doesn't want?
- 1:13:47Speaker 9: Okay, Well then you shouldn't be in a relationship.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: No, I just don't want to be married.
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: But y'all playing married though y'all live for you live together.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: He left in come back you hurt the man. Man.
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: If a man tell you want to marry you, that's
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: an ultimate commitment for anybody.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: And you tell him.
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: If I don't want to get married, If that's the
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: deal breaker, you should we should break up.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Okay, All right now when you.
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: Walk away, Yeah, if you don't want him, okay, because
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: I don't lie. The women gonna sign up for this one. Yeah,
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: and I don't know what you're gonna tell your boy. Yeah,
- 1:14:33Speaker 9: if he wanted us, but I didn't want him to
- 1:14:35Speaker 9: want us, that he wanted us too much because.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Of how your daddy treated me five years ago.
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: It's just too much, won't.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Too much loving?
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:14:50Speaker 10: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming

- 1:16:47Speaker 10: time now for another round of would you rather? Would
- 1:16:51Speaker 10: you rather be friends with someone you were in love? With,
- 1:16:53Speaker 10: or would you rather be married to someone you secretly hate?
- 1:16:56Speaker 9: Huh?
- 1:16:57Speaker 10: You want to be friends with someone you you are
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: in love with, or you want to be married to
- 1:17:03Speaker 10: someone that you secretly hate.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: You can't stand this person.
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: I've been married to that person. That ain't no fun
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: at all. I sely hated her and she openly hated me.
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: Something I've had it the best of both will and
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: the only reason I secretly hated hush because I didn't
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: want to say it out loud, but I did. But
- 1:17:24Speaker 9: she was openly hating me secretly, I developed the hate.
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: It was an incredible relationship. We shared a hate. We
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: shared a hate, and so I've done that before. So
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: what is option eight?
- 1:17:40Speaker 10: Would you rather be friends with someone you love, you're
- 1:17:43Speaker 10: in love with?
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: You're a Marjorie friend Marjorie right now? I kid you,
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: not including all my dudes. Marjorie is my best friend.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: That's right, should be?
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: Ye?
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: Well, it's not as it should be. You should be
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: your wife doesn't have to be your best friend. She
- 1:18:01Speaker 9: could just be your friend. Your best friend oftentimes is
- 1:18:05Speaker 9: one of your boys. It's always been that way for me.
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: It's never been My best friend was my wife before
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: My best friend has always been my homies. I've discovered
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: something over the years. My best friend now happens to
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: be Marjorie. But do I have some great friends?
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: That's homies?
- 1:18:21Speaker 9: Ride or die? I'm talking about make a phone call
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: in it go down, hey man? Like he man, Amen,
- 1:18:28Speaker 9: Like that scene in the movie, Hey man, I'm getting
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: ready to go hurt some people. You could never ask
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: me what it's about now or later. The dude looked
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: at him and said, who car we take?
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: That's all I got some cats like that? Yeah, friendship,
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: all right?
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: Which marginie?
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: She not that way, baby, I'm going down here to
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: hurt some people.
- 1:18:55Speaker 9: Know you not know you're not not that? Yeah, we
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: got to I draw the line with her right there.
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: She can't do that. I got some cat talking call
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: for this.
- 1:19:03Speaker 10: Would you rather go bald or would you rather have
- 1:19:06Speaker 10: a high pitched voice?
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: Surely we missed it.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Repeat would you.
- 1:19:10Speaker 10: Rather go bald or would you rather have a high
- 1:19:13Speaker 10: pitched voice?
- 1:19:14Speaker 12: Well?
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: We very much one. I'm fighting? He said, Yeah, damn
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: what her? You got both.
- 1:19:22Speaker 7: Her?
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: You got a high pitched boy? Then you're going bold
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: your answer? What you want to do? That's what was
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: in here.
- 1:19:30Speaker 9: You're talking about I'd rather go bald all you.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Let him speak in his lower lower voice.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: Go ahead me okay from the thread in my lowest voice. Dude,
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: you go. You gonna stop talking about me a rather.
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Close out the show and just a few right after this.
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: You're listening morning show.
- 1:20:04Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:06Speaker 10: day on this Thursday. As always, it's been a good day.
- 1:20:10Speaker 10: And Steve, we have one more phone call for you
- 1:20:13Speaker 10: before we get out. Uh, this is a guy who
- 1:20:16Speaker 10: needs some life motivational advice. You're going on a big
- 1:20:20Speaker 10: motivational speaking tour, so this is a great call.
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: Hey, what's going on, Steve? Morn and cool keeping listening
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: to you. Hey, I just had a quick question. Man,
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: I feel like I have a calling on I know
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: I have a calling on my life because so it
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: burns inside of me when I think about it. You
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: know what I'm saying. But I have a calling on
- 1:20:41Speaker 7: my life, and I believe not only put me and
- 1:20:45Speaker 7: my family on a different level, but it will also
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: help a lot of other people. But I'm not being
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: consistent about it. I'm being just a beating about it,
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: and I'm not I'm not going after it like I should.
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: What you suggest I can do to keep me focused,
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: and you keep me consistent about it and about it.
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: I appreciate it in a day.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:21:06Speaker 9: It's simple. It's very simple. What I answer I'm about
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: to give you. It's very simple, but it's hard. You
- 1:21:13Speaker 9: have to become disciplined. Discipline is doing what you have
- 1:21:17Speaker 9: to do even when you don't want to. See to
- 1:21:20Speaker 9: answer the calling on your life, it requires some discipline
- 1:21:24Speaker 9: because that calling.
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: You don't want all to come with the calling.
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: I've oftentimes not wanted everything that comes with my calling.
- 1:21:32Speaker 9: But you it eats away at you. You have to
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: answer the call. You not answer the call. You just said, brother,
- 1:21:40Speaker 9: it will make a better way for your family, your
- 1:21:42Speaker 9: life and everything. But you also are looking at the requirements,
- 1:21:48Speaker 9: and that's what's got you shaking. You ain't consistent because
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: you wake up some days and you just don't want
- 1:21:54Speaker 9: to do that today. Discipline is doing what you have
- 1:21:58Speaker 9: to do even when you don't want to do it. So, bruh,
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: you have to become disciplined. Discipline is the key to
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: becoming successful. Without discipline, you cannot become successful.
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: You just can't.
- 1:22:13Speaker 9: And discipline is hard to do. Discipline is hard to develop.
- 1:22:18Speaker 9: It's hard to wake up and do something that you
- 1:22:20Speaker 9: have to do, do something you don't want to do,
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: and got to do it anyway.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: It's hard, man.
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: But those that honor the discipline are the ones that
- 1:22:31Speaker 9: have different types of lives. And you get to make
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: that choice. God gives us the power of decision. We
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: all get to decide who we are, what we gonna be,
- 1:22:42Speaker 9: and the moment you stop trying, you have to now
- 1:22:45Speaker 9: make the adjustment to settle in, well, this is my life.
- 1:22:49Speaker 9: If you say this is my life, this is what
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: I resigned myself to, then that's guess what. That's what
- 1:22:55Speaker 9: your life is to be. And if you ain't happy
- 1:22:58Speaker 9: with it, that's your God ain't stopped you from dreaming.
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: God didn't stop you from believing you did. That's yourself.
- 1:23:09Speaker 9: When you stop dreaming, that's you. When you quit believing
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: that's you. That decision occurs in your mind, between your
- 1:23:22Speaker 9: temples and your earloads. Those decisions are made up there you. You,
- 1:23:32Speaker 9: you are the foreman of your brain. You just have
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: to understand that your brain is operated in two halves.
- 1:23:41Speaker 9: You have a positive side and a negative side, a
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: foreman is in charge of the negative side, and a
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: foreman is in charge of the positive side, and a
- 1:23:51Speaker 9: foreman is in charge of the negative side. Who you
- 1:23:54Speaker 9: called to the forefront to give instructions to every day Because.
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: You're the CEO, you're the ball.
