- 0:01Speaker 1: Intend to make a deal with Europe. We have found
- 0:04Speaker 1: that the European Union treated as extremely unfairly, very difficult
- 0:09Speaker 1: and hurt themselves in doing so, and they very much
- 0:11Speaker 1: want to make a deal. We'll be dealing with them.
- 0:12Speaker 1: We are dealing with them currently, so that'll cover pretty
- 0:16Speaker 1: much the rest of it.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. Welcome, it is the forty seven Morning Update,
- 0:24Speaker 3: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are the three big
- 0:26Speaker 3: stories we're talking about today. First up, a trade deal
- 0:30Speaker 3: agreement between the US and the UK, setting a standard
- 0:34Speaker 3: for what other countries can expects they're negotiating their trade
- 0:38Speaker 3: deals with the US. And how did Wall Street respond
- 0:41Speaker 3: well with big numbers in the green up. Next, in
- 0:45Speaker 3: a shocking story that all of you I hope will
- 0:48Speaker 3: share because the media is not covering this, planned parenthood
- 0:52Speaker 3: has now been exposed, prescribing gender affirming care hormones to
- 0:58Speaker 3: minors and doing it virtually with no parental supervision. And finally,
- 1:04Speaker 3: a historic moment for the US as we have an
- 1:07Speaker 3: American pope that has been named. Who is he and
- 1:11Speaker 3: what did he have to say? When he walked out
- 1:13Speaker 3: on the balcony for the very first time as the Pope.
- 1:17Speaker 3: It's the forty seven morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Story number one victory.
- 1:22Speaker 3: President Donald Trump and the UK Prime Minister Starmer announced
- 1:26Speaker 3: a new trade agreement between the United States and the
- 1:29Speaker 3: United Kingdom. And this is one of many apparently coming
- 1:33Speaker 3: down the pipeline from the White House, yet again proving
- 1:37Speaker 3: the media and those on the left wrong. Now, this
- 1:41Speaker 3: deal marks the first major biledal trade pack since the
- 1:44Speaker 3: implementation of Trump's global tariff policy earlier this year. The
- 1:49Speaker 3: key highlights of the agreement include tariff reductions. The US
- 1:53Speaker 3: will reduced tariffs on Britain steel and aluminum exports to zero,
- 1:58Speaker 3: and lower tariffs on up to a one hundred thousand
- 2:01Speaker 3: UK made cars from twenty seven point five percent to
- 2:05Speaker 3: just ten percent. On agricultural access, the UK will open
- 2:10Speaker 3: its markets to more American agricultural products, including beef and ethanol,
- 2:16Speaker 3: helping American farmers significantly by removing tariffs such as the
- 2:20Speaker 3: nineteen percent duty on US ethanol imports that currently was there.
- 2:25Speaker 3: On industrial goods, tariffs on British aerospace components, notably rolls,
- 2:31Speaker 3: Royce engines will be eliminated, and the UK has agreed
- 2:34Speaker 3: to purchase ten billion in Boeing aircraft, yet again helping
- 2:39Speaker 3: American workers. Now, the non tariff barriers are also an issue.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Both nations have committed to reducing non tariff barriers and
- 2:49Speaker 3: streamlining customs processes to facilitate trade now. The Prime Minister
- 2:54Speaker 3: Starmer described the agreement as quote historic, emphasizing its potential
- 2:59Speaker 3: to protect UK jobs and industries. President Trump highlighted the
- 3:04Speaker 3: deal as a significant step in expanding American exports and
- 3:08Speaker 3: reducing trade deficits that help the American workers. Here's the
- 3:12Speaker 3: present in his own words at the Oval Office announcing
- 3:16Speaker 3: this deal.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Morning, I'm thrilled to announce that we've reached a breakthrough
- 3:20Speaker 1: trade deal with the United Kingdom, credible country. Today is
- 3:25Speaker 1: a victory day for World War Two. We won the
- 3:29Speaker 1: war together exactly eighty years ago, so there could be
- 3:32Speaker 1: no more perfect morning to reach this historic agreement. And
- 3:36Speaker 1: it's beautiful weather out. I will tell you that gear
- 3:38Speaker 1: beautiful weather, so perfect outside. But it's really in particular
- 3:44Speaker 1: the agreement with one of our closest and most cherished allies.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And we're so happy that that's the way it worked out.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I want to thank Prime Minister Starmer and his very
- 3:56Speaker 1: talented team for their outstanding work and partner ship. Today's
- 4:01Speaker 1: agreement with the UK is the first and a series
- 4:04Speaker 1: of agreements on trade that my administration has been negotiating
- 4:07Speaker 1: over the past four weeks. With this deal, the UK
- 4:11Speaker 1: joins the United States and affirming that reciprocity and fairness
- 4:16Speaker 1: is an essential and vital principle of international trade.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Now, the big takeaway from what the President just said
- 4:24Speaker 3: there and this deal that's done with the UK is precedent.
- 4:29Speaker 3: The agreement is seen as nothing but a foundation for
- 4:32Speaker 3: future negotiations with other countries, with both countries expressing interest
- 4:38Speaker 3: and expanding discussions to also include digital services, technology, and
- 4:43Speaker 3: other sectors as well. Now, this means that other countries
- 4:47Speaker 3: that are looking at doing a deal with the US
- 4:49Speaker 3: now what's expected of them. It also goes back to
- 4:53Speaker 3: the promise from the President those who got in line
- 4:56Speaker 3: first would get the best deals. And clearly this is
- 4:59Speaker 3: a the deal that UK is proud of and the
- 5:02Speaker 3: President of the United States of America. What does this
- 5:04Speaker 3: mean for Wall Street? When we know where Wall Street
- 5:07Speaker 3: closed and it was big as the markets love the
- 5:10Speaker 3: idea of this happening, with the Dow finishing up two
- 5:13Speaker 3: hundred and fifty four points, the NASDA Cup one hundred
- 5:16Speaker 3: and eighty nine, and the S and P five hundred
- 5:18Speaker 3: up thirty two. We expect more deals coming out of
- 5:21Speaker 3: the White House in the very near future as well,
- 5:23Speaker 3: so we'll keep you covered on all those details.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Now. Story number two.
- 5:27Speaker 3: This story is one that is incredibly important and I
- 5:31Speaker 3: hope it's one that all of you will share on
- 5:33Speaker 3: social media. Take this podcast and put it wherever you are,
- 5:37Speaker 3: because the story you're about to hear no one is
- 5:40Speaker 3: talking about, and that certainly includes the mainstream media. There
- 5:44Speaker 3: was an undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood prescribing hormones to
- 5:51Speaker 3: miners with minimal oversight. It's not healthcare, it's child abuse,
- 5:56Speaker 3: and it must be stopped, is what the Live Action
- 5:59Speaker 3: president Lee la Rose said in a statement after they
- 6:03Speaker 3: released the undercover sting operation audio and video undercover phone calls.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Release by the pro life activist group Live Action revealed
- 6:13Speaker 3: that in fact, Planned Parenthood clinics across several states offered
- 6:17Speaker 3: cross sex hormone treatments to miners as young as sixteen
- 6:23Speaker 3: with very little parental or medical supervision. The group is
- 6:28Speaker 3: now calling on Congress to defund Planted Parenthood of the
- 6:33Speaker 3: hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding. Yes, your
- 6:37Speaker 3: tax dollars are going to Planned Parenthood to the tune
- 6:40Speaker 3: of hundreds of millions of dollars. Live Action conducted the
- 6:44Speaker 3: undercover investigation in which a woman posing as a sixteen
- 6:48Speaker 3: year old miner called dozens of Planned Parenthood location seeking
- 6:53Speaker 3: gender affirming care. At least seven of the Planned Parenthood
- 6:58Speaker 3: facilities told her that they would prescribe cross sex hormones
- 7:04Speaker 3: at the very first appointment. In several instances, Planned Parenthood
- 7:10Speaker 3: assured the caller that she could choose to meet with
- 7:12Speaker 3: a provider virtually and have access to the cross sex
- 7:16Speaker 3: hormones as quickly as the same day, despite the person
- 7:20Speaker 3: posing as a miner saying they had just begun considering
- 7:25Speaker 3: changing her sex. Facilities in Minnesota and Oregon stated they
- 7:29Speaker 3: could schedule the miner within days or even on the
- 7:33Speaker 3: same day. Five facilities also stated no prior therapy, no
- 7:39Speaker 3: prior mental health clearances, no prior documentation was needed for
- 7:45Speaker 3: the undercover individual to obtain cross sex hormones. I'm going
- 7:50Speaker 3: to play for you this audio, and I hope every
- 7:53Speaker 3: one of you will share this wherever you can on
- 7:56Speaker 3: social media.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Difficling parent, thank you for ducing planned parent who had
- 8:00Speaker 4: a greater e or.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Thank you for calling planned Parenthead Minnesota and North Dakota, VA, Dakota.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Hello, get up for calling planned parents. Hi.
- 8:09Speaker 6: My name is Sophia. I'm just trying to schedule some
- 8:13Speaker 6: gender firming care. I really just want to be able
- 8:15Speaker 6: to get some testostero to start my journey.
- 8:18Speaker 4: So we just have to start my booking her in
- 8:20Speaker 4: Michel appointments that you've come in to few one of
- 8:22Speaker 4: our providers.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Are you or a he?
- 8:26Speaker 6: No, I'm sixteen, You're.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Good to be been here then sixteen and older?
- 8:30Speaker 6: Okay, you're okay to do it for minors, Yeah, you
- 8:33Speaker 6: can legally.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Get hormones under eighteen? How old are you?
- 8:38Speaker 6: Sixteen? I know my mom has to come in with me,
- 8:40Speaker 6: and does she have to be in there the whole time?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Like?
- 8:43Speaker 6: How does that work? Because I don't know if I'm
- 8:45Speaker 6: comfortable with that.
- 8:46Speaker 4: At some point that the appointment, maybe he doesn't have
- 8:49Speaker 4: to be in the remitting room with you.
- 8:52Speaker 6: You said I could do it virtually.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Yeah, you can do it virtually.
- 8:55Speaker 6: So what would that look like? So I just talked
- 8:57Speaker 6: to a doctor and then they'd be able to prescribe me.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Yeah, if it's virtual, you'll still meet with the doctor
- 9:06Speaker 5: and then go over like all men, very information and
- 9:09Speaker 5: at the end they will then be for supribing hormone
- 9:13Speaker 5: that would then be stripped out like your local party.
- 9:15Speaker 6: I don't need any like therapy or anything first, Like,
- 9:18Speaker 6: you don't need any record of that, no that I
- 9:21Speaker 6: know of. I don't need any sort of like records
- 9:23Speaker 6: of having one to therapy or anything like.
- 9:25Speaker 5: That, right, Yeah, so unless you have triparent here and
- 9:28Speaker 5: it would not be required.
- 9:29Speaker 6: There's nothing that I need before, right, Like I don't
- 9:32Speaker 6: need to like have records and meeting with a therapist
- 9:34Speaker 6: or anything, right because my parents definitely aren't.
- 9:36Speaker 4: I'll let me do that.
- 9:38Speaker 6: I just decided last week, and so I kind of
- 9:40Speaker 6: want to get in as soon as possible. Do you
- 9:42Speaker 6: have any pointments available soon?
- 9:44Speaker 4: Yeah? It depends on a location too, but we usually
- 9:47Speaker 4: do have availability for like the next week of whatever
- 9:51Speaker 4: you call it.
- 9:52Speaker 6: You think that if I came in, went over everything
- 9:54Speaker 6: with the doctor and they could send them prescription that day.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yes, I think they could be able to a prescription
- 10:02Speaker 4: to your pharmacy the same day of your appointment.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Oh perfect, Okay, so I can get the hormones the
- 10:08Speaker 6: same day, a little.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Bit to get it together.
- 10:13Speaker 5: But yeah, if not the same day, then more than
- 10:15Speaker 5: likely the very next thing.
- 10:17Speaker 6: Perfect.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Thank you for calling.
- 10:20Speaker 3: This is exactly why President Donald Trump has been questioning
- 10:23Speaker 3: your dollars going to planned parenthood, and why so many
- 10:26Speaker 3: conservatives are advocating now for planned parenthood not receiving a
- 10:30Speaker 3: single dime of taxpayer dollars, because this is what they're
- 10:33Speaker 3: doing with your money.
- 10:34Speaker 2: And lastly, story number three, history.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Was made as there is a new pope that has
- 10:40Speaker 3: been named to lead the Catholic Church, and this pope
- 10:43Speaker 3: is coming from the United States of America. It was
- 10:47Speaker 3: a historic moment as Cardinal Robert Francis Privos of Chicago
- 10:51Speaker 3: has been elected as the two hundred and sixty seventh
- 10:54Speaker 3: Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. This marks the first
- 10:58Speaker 3: time an American is ascended to the past. The announcement
- 11:01Speaker 3: was made following the appearance of the white smoke from
- 11:04Speaker 3: the Sistine Chapel, signaling the successful conclusion of the conclave.
- 11:09Speaker 3: President Donald Trump said this about the big announcement.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They have already spoken to us and we'll see what happens.
- 11:22Speaker 4: But again, to have the.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Vote from the United States of America, that's a great honor.
- 11:28Speaker 1: That's a great honor.
- 11:32Speaker 5: I'm welcome watching.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And they said he's from America, and he said, that's great.
- 11:37Speaker 5: Now.
- 11:37Speaker 3: The Pope, in his first address from the balcony of
- 11:40Speaker 3: Saint Peter's, greeted the crowd with peace be with all
- 11:44Speaker 3: of you. He emphasized themes of unity, inclusiveness, and peace,
- 11:48Speaker 3: reflecting a commitment to bridging divides within the church. At
- 11:53Speaker 3: the end of the day, this is a great day
- 11:55Speaker 3: for anyone in the Catholic faith, and certainly a great
- 11:58Speaker 3: day when it comes to him street, as President Trump
- 12:01Speaker 3: put it, for everyone in this country, having the first
- 12:04Speaker 3: pope ever from the United States.
