- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: milling bus things in it to me through good hastening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother. Please I don't join joining me. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you're going to are you gotta turn to turn out? Turn?
- 1:43Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out to turn? Turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: water to the water? Go? Come come on your bad
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well, good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now one it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show? Man. I love it
- 2:15Speaker 1: when I run up into people and they say that
- 2:17Speaker 1: to me. They say, hey, Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Then they wink at man, I know they're listening. You know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I got a lot off my chest yesterday. I wanted
- 2:24Speaker 1: to clear some things up. And I appreciate y'all giving
- 2:27Speaker 1: me a minute, because sometimes, you know, you just gotta
- 2:29Speaker 1: say some things out loud. Not complaining, but hey, just verbalizing,
- 2:34Speaker 1: but realizing that I gotta keep going anyway. And that's
- 2:38Speaker 1: for my words this morning to you that I want
- 2:43Speaker 1: you to keep pushing no matter what happens. I want
- 2:48Speaker 1: to share something with you that's important that's very very important. See,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you have to give God something too, bless you know,
- 3:00Speaker 1: if your prayer is asking for God's blessings, you got
- 3:05Speaker 1: to give him something to work with. Now, you know,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you got to show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You gotta let him know that you're in it for
- 3:17Speaker 1: the long haul. No matter what happens. Don't turn around.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You will never ever see what the end could be.
- 3:30Speaker 1: If you turn around and go back, you'll never know
- 3:34Speaker 1: what the end could have been had you stuck it out.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You'll never know how good it could have gotten had
- 3:44Speaker 1: you not just weathered the storm. That's the thing that
- 3:49Speaker 1: gets most people. They get tough for them, It get
- 3:55Speaker 1: hard for them, and then they let doubts set in,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and then those doubts become facts and the next thing
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know, they give up. Had you not given up,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or had you given your best, what the results or
- 4:09Speaker 1: outcome could have been. I look back on my life
- 4:12Speaker 1: on so many occasions where in college I wasn't giving
- 4:17Speaker 1: my best. Now I flunked out. Now it's easy to
- 4:23Speaker 1: look at my life nine go yeah, but look at
- 4:25Speaker 1: you now. But back then, man, it cost me for
- 4:30Speaker 1: so many years that failing to finish that not giving
- 4:36Speaker 1: my all. It cost me a number of years. I
- 4:42Speaker 1: wish I could say that it didn't mean nothing, that
- 4:45Speaker 1: it was just a blimp on the radar skin screen,
- 4:48Speaker 1: but at the time it was major. And so you
- 4:51Speaker 1: have a lot of decisions in your life that are
- 4:53Speaker 1: happening now. You may be in your twenties, your late teens,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you could be in your early thirties, and it's happening.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But guess what you'll eventually get through it provided one
- 5:05Speaker 1: thing you never give up. You never turn around and
- 5:09Speaker 1: go back. Had I written myself off because of one failure, see,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and this is where so many people go but go
- 5:17Speaker 1: wrong at two. You write yourself off after you failed
- 5:20Speaker 1: at something, the one thing you thought you wanted to accomplish,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and you failed at it. Now you write yourself as
- 5:28Speaker 1: a failure. Now you go settle on end to life
- 5:31Speaker 1: and just see what See what hand you get had
- 5:35Speaker 1: when I flunked out of college, had I written myself
- 5:38Speaker 1: off as a failure, I wouldn't be here today. When
- 5:42Speaker 1: I lost my carpet cleaning company, I would have written
- 5:45Speaker 1: myself as a failure. And I wouldn't be here today
- 5:49Speaker 1: when I didn't become a diamond distributed in Amway or
- 5:52Speaker 1: a direct distributor in am Way, even I would have
- 5:55Speaker 1: written myself as a failure and I wouldn't be here today.
- 6:01Speaker 1: When I bought a distribution kit to become a distributor
- 6:04Speaker 1: of the Bohemian Diet and I didn't make it, I
- 6:10Speaker 1: would have written myself as a failure. When I became
- 6:13Speaker 1: an Al Williams distributor and I didn't make it, I
- 6:15Speaker 1: would have written myself as a failure, and I wouldn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: be here today. Oh, I got a list for you.
- 6:22Speaker 1: When I got laid off it for a motor company.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Had I written myself as a failure, I wouldn't have
- 6:27Speaker 1: made it. Do you need some more? Because I have
- 6:33Speaker 1: a story filled with mishaps. I have a story filled
- 6:39Speaker 1: with failures. A couple of things now, the grace of
- 6:44Speaker 1: God and his mercy which is available to us all.
- 6:48Speaker 1: See that's the key, y'all, Because of his mercy, because
- 6:53Speaker 1: of his willingness to forgive and to even understand why
- 7:00Speaker 1: we do the things we do. In all of my shortcomings,
- 7:05Speaker 1: failed marriages I'm talking about, man got it all wrong.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I can't blame nobody else. It's just me, Steve ain't
- 7:15Speaker 1: have it together at that point in life. I've could
- 7:19Speaker 1: have ridden myself as a failure the first time I could.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I just could have gave up on it after the
- 7:25Speaker 1: second one. And please know that this is an admission.
- 7:29Speaker 1: This ain't bragging. So before you start in with me,
- 7:32Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. I'm pointing out in my life
- 7:38Speaker 1: a series of missteps and failures. But how I still
- 7:43Speaker 1: get here today A couple of things. God's grace and
- 7:49Speaker 1: mercy is first. But that's the key that's for everybody
- 7:55Speaker 1: see if it's God's willingness to forgive you and God's
- 8:00Speaker 1: understanding of why we do what we do because he
- 8:03Speaker 1: said we wasn't gonna be perfect. So in all of
- 8:07Speaker 1: your imperfections, your creator told you you would not be perfect.
- 8:12Speaker 1: He's sad it to you. It's out there. I don't
- 8:15Speaker 1: care which one of the books you read it tells
- 8:17Speaker 1: you that. So guess what With that in mind, he
- 8:23Speaker 1: has a grace that he has. It's like a grace period.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It's like when you don't pay your insurance premium on
- 8:30Speaker 1: the day that is due. The next day, they don't
- 8:33Speaker 1: just cancel your insurance premium. They have a grace period
- 8:38Speaker 1: because they ain't trying to stop this money from coming in.
- 8:42Speaker 1: But when it comes to God, there's no money required.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He just gives you the grace freely. It don't cost
- 8:49Speaker 1: you nothing. So you got tap into that, y'all. You
- 8:51Speaker 1: gotta get in touch with that, because that's an important
- 8:54Speaker 1: part to making it. Understanding that His grace is available.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So when you make a mistake, So when you fail
- 9:02Speaker 1: at it, he has a loophole in the contract with
- 9:06Speaker 1: him that allows you to make mistakes, that allows you
- 9:09Speaker 1: to get it wrong, that allows you to fail time
- 9:12Speaker 1: and time and time again. But if you never give up,
- 9:16Speaker 1: if you keep getting up, if you keep trying, if
- 9:19Speaker 1: you keep striving, if you keep making the effort to
- 9:23Speaker 1: go forward and not go back, God has a blessing
- 9:27Speaker 1: for you, and He has it in abundance for you,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and God will give it to you at the right time.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But you got to be ready. Oh, I want it
- 9:38Speaker 1: to be successful. But if he had given it to
- 9:41Speaker 1: me back then, I wouldn't have handled it correctly because
- 9:44Speaker 1: I would have made some more mistakes along the way.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So you make the mistakes to learn the lessons. Lord.
- 9:53Speaker 1: They ain't God been good to me, I ain't gonna
- 9:55Speaker 1: lie to you. Cool you're listening show, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: the time is here, another great day, another opportunity. Gratitude
- 10:10Speaker 1: changes your attitude that directly affects your altitude. So if
- 10:18Speaker 1: I was you, I'd get to getting grateful. If I's you,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I get to being grateful. Ladies and gentlemen, we is grateful.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Charley Strawberry caller for real Mississippi Monica Junior, better known
- 10:39Speaker 1: as Killed Spits or the legend of nephew tommed So, Junior,
- 10:44Speaker 1: what's on your mind today? Yeah, let me ask you this.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You know, group vacations now kind of mind? I ain't
- 10:50Speaker 1: seeing them wound? And uh, he said, man, we should,
- 10:55Speaker 1: we should go on the trip. But I know how
- 10:57Speaker 1: he liked to He liked to travel, and I know
- 11:00Speaker 1: there's gonna be a problem. How you have any experience
- 11:03Speaker 1: with group travels? Yeah, now, let me ask you a question.
- 11:07Speaker 1: How do he like to travel? Okay, we are we
- 11:11Speaker 1: talk about light? How are they any expressing calls? See
- 11:15Speaker 1: right there, That's why I don't do that. And I've
- 11:21Speaker 1: never been a fan of group vacations. Your problem is
- 11:24Speaker 1: he the key word you said? I haven't seen him
- 11:28Speaker 1: in a Hawaii. Yeah, why would you go somewhere for
- 11:33Speaker 1: an extended period of time with somebody you ain't seen
- 11:36Speaker 1: in a while. He has changed and you don't know
- 11:44Speaker 1: what the change is. Yeah, you know, y'all gonna be
- 11:49Speaker 1: sitting somewhere dividing checks with a calculator. Y'all gonna be
- 11:54Speaker 1: somewhere argument which way to go? And then all you
- 12:00Speaker 1: need it's for your girl to want to do something
- 12:03Speaker 1: and his girl don't lord him less it. Now you
- 12:09Speaker 1: got to do what to what your woman say? So
- 12:11Speaker 1: now what you're gonna do? See, it's just gonna create
- 12:14Speaker 1: a problem. Man, I don't know that I would uh
- 12:19Speaker 1: do it? We have an expert on the show that
- 12:23Speaker 1: does it all the time, and he seems to have
- 12:25Speaker 1: worked it out. I personally am not of that. Timmy,
- 12:30Speaker 1: you do a lot of group vacations. Why don't you
- 12:33Speaker 1: give him suggestions on how to do it? Uh? Well,
- 12:38Speaker 1: if you want to really cut down on your price,
- 12:41Speaker 1: I mean you need at least twelve to twenty people
- 12:44Speaker 1: which twel to twining out a cut thing. I mean,
- 12:51Speaker 1: if you want to really cut it down where you
- 12:53Speaker 1: can't like stop, see if you twining. You won't feel
- 13:00Speaker 1: it at all, see that right away? Yeah, that communal vacation.
- 13:06Speaker 1: That that dad, damn you got to vote every time, y'all. Everything,
- 13:13Speaker 1: everything breakfast is a vote where we're gonna go to vote.
- 13:18Speaker 1: How many rv vote? What side the vote vote? How
- 13:24Speaker 1: a car van on truck vote? The bottom line, Junior,
- 13:28Speaker 1: don't do it? Yeah? Can I stay in your suite
- 13:33Speaker 1: with y'all? No? All right? Coming up at thirty two
- 13:38Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, the pastors with church complaints right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. Well, guys, it is Monday,
- 13:47Speaker 1: so you know what that means. It is time now
- 13:50Speaker 1: for church complaints. We gavel imprecariously, then diffecate about the
- 14:00Speaker 1: possibilities of an iron nation. We do this EMBIBLICI blee
- 14:11Speaker 1: with the will and the concept of thought that everything
- 14:16Speaker 1: will embellish the rifle by neverty of joy. I know
- 14:26Speaker 1: y'all know I'm preaching now, Am Deacon Jeff jam is
- 14:31Speaker 1: healed with in the words or Spanish word complainciones or
- 14:39Speaker 1: the congregation. I've been studying my Spanish and that's what
- 14:43Speaker 1: I've come up with. Who here, Yeah, I can't pass it, brother,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Travis Lennard says he has he thanked, he got don't
- 14:55Speaker 1: get pox, and he keeps kicking people that walk behind
- 14:59Speaker 1: him every five seconds. He kicked Brother Moses and got
- 15:06Speaker 1: his behind and now he trying to get you to
- 15:10Speaker 1: drop in and justify what was going on. But he
- 15:14Speaker 1: say he got don't get pops. I don't know that's legitimate.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Who did you say or jumped on him? My brother Moses. This. Oh,
- 15:24Speaker 1: if he kicked Brother Moses and Brother Moses whooped on him,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I can safely say Brother Travis is cured. Now. Yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 1: he has been healed by Brother Moses. I was with
- 15:40Speaker 1: Brother Moses or before and I've seen him whoop ass. Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Oh oh it's a beautiful thing. You know before he
- 15:56Speaker 1: throw a punchy, lick his knuckles. Now, who do that?
- 16:02Speaker 1: That would be old school? That would be old school pastor.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Let's see, I'm moving right along. Now you're gonna have
- 16:11Speaker 1: to do something back this. I don't I don't know
- 16:12Speaker 1: how you're gonna feel about it. Brother Kendrick Anderson has
- 16:16Speaker 1: been stealing members underwear and using them as a pocket square.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Now he had a thong with hearts on it on
- 16:26Speaker 1: Sunday and mister Deedre David says she uh, she knowed
- 16:32Speaker 1: them her drows because he was at the laundron mat
- 16:34Speaker 1: and she saw him folding them up. But but he
- 16:37Speaker 1: had a thong in his pocket with hearts on it. Now,
- 16:41Speaker 1: you know, I think you're gonna have to talk to
- 16:43Speaker 1: this boy. He didn't got way out of hand with
- 16:46Speaker 1: this him. That's interesting. You know people that didn't using
- 16:51Speaker 1: or different ideas for pocket squares or brother Rolling or
- 16:58Speaker 1: that whole people. You're not you're not gonna do it
- 17:06Speaker 1: feather dusters or as pocket squares I've noticed also, or
- 17:15Speaker 1: Brother Rolling at one time was down at the paltry
- 17:19Speaker 1: shop using chicken feathers. Somebody had handed him some our feathers,
- 17:29Speaker 1: but he turned that down, said that was a little
- 17:32Speaker 1: too close for his comfort. Okay, anything now, I'm gonna
- 17:49Speaker 1: leave that at that. But you gotta do somebody this
- 17:51Speaker 1: man putting the people drows in their pocket. You know,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you know you can't really tell themine how to dress.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We've had a whole session on dressing at the church.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Brother Rolling was there. Yeah, Okay, some people's just gonna
- 18:09Speaker 1: do like they won't, all right, I'm just saying, yeah, well,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you know some things. You know what, we can't fix
- 18:21Speaker 1: that every complaint. No brother rolling next week is coming
- 18:25Speaker 1: in with peacock felt. They're gonna be long stick way
- 18:33Speaker 1: up out of his pocket, Paul, he's gonna have squat
- 18:36Speaker 1: down to go through doorways. You still ain't fix these draws,
- 18:41Speaker 1: but okay, you still I think the rolling the rolling
- 18:45Speaker 1: joke was way better. Thank you for misleading me in
- 18:53Speaker 1: that direction. Carry hole now by Carrious, all right, we
- 19:00Speaker 1: got an issue that the kids is just in an uproar.
- 19:04Speaker 1: You're gonna have to talk to Sister Nubby. As you know,
- 19:08Speaker 1: she's missing her fingers except her thumb on her right hand.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And he was selling cookies after service and giving them
- 19:16Speaker 1: to the kids with that nubbing hand. And the kids
- 19:20Speaker 1: just they won't eat the cookies. They didn't got scared
- 19:23Speaker 1: and everything. You're gonna have to talk to Sister Nubby.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He just Sister nubr husband has the same condition. And
- 19:34Speaker 1: he had come to a concert one night or back
- 19:38Speaker 1: on the keen tool and shook my head or backstage.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I thought he was high five in me, and when
- 19:48Speaker 1: I reached Ford, it felt like he had slapped a
- 19:51Speaker 1: pack of me in my hand without them fingers on
- 19:56Speaker 1: this scared scared back. He was highly offended because he
- 20:03Speaker 1: come talking about it. Oh, I can't believe or you're
- 20:06Speaker 1: gonna act like that, Well, you need to tell somebody
- 20:12Speaker 1: back his shake his hands in the dog I was
- 20:14Speaker 1: about to go on. It came to him and I
- 20:17Speaker 1: was backstage or not. It was dog back. He was
- 20:21Speaker 1: married to sister Nubby at the time, and you know
- 20:24Speaker 1: his nickname Chubby, and he ain't got no fraingers on
- 20:27Speaker 1: his hand either self a thumb, and he tried to
- 20:30Speaker 1: dap me up before I walked on stage. And when
- 20:33Speaker 1: he dapped me, he slapped his hand in my palm
- 20:36Speaker 1: and he had no fraingers. He had just felt like
- 20:39Speaker 1: a pack of me was in there and it scagged.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Now Shot, I didn't know what to do. Never since then,
- 20:49Speaker 1: I've never dapped Chubby or Nubby. Next that church can
- 20:59Speaker 1: play right after this. You're listening to Morning show coming
- 21:05Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, and entertainment news
- 21:08Speaker 1: Rihanna and Asap Rocky welcome their first child. Sixty three
- 21:12Speaker 1: year old Flavor Flay found out that he's got a
- 21:15Speaker 1: three year old son, and Bill Cosby is heads back
- 21:18Speaker 1: to court. Bill Cosby is headed back to court in
- 21:22Speaker 1: a brand new sexual assault case. We'll talk about all
- 21:25Speaker 1: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 21:27Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the CLO Chief
- 21:31Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building for your love questions.
- 21:35Speaker 1: And this one is from Sheena in Connecticut, Na says,
- 21:38Speaker 1: my nineteen year old son got a speeding ticket in
- 21:41Speaker 1: my car and I got the ticket notice in the mail,
- 21:44Speaker 1: and I confronted him. I can't take away his driveling
- 21:47Speaker 1: privileges because he's got to get to work. How else
- 21:50Speaker 1: can I punishment punish him? Or it's he too old
- 21:53Speaker 1: for punishment? Well, he got to pay to ticket. Everybody
- 21:58Speaker 1: get tickets, say no major crime, he didn't commit it.
- 22:03Speaker 1: You got to pay the ticket. You know, you can't
- 22:05Speaker 1: take his driving privileges away. You ain't never had a
- 22:08Speaker 1: ticket before. He keeps getting the tickets. They're gonna take
- 22:11Speaker 1: his driving bible to just for him. You ain't got
- 22:13Speaker 1: to and he's got a job, so he can't pay it. Yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 1: just let him pay the ticket. Yeah, that ain't even hard.
- 22:21Speaker 1: She wants to know. Is he too old for punishment too?
- 22:24Speaker 1: What punishment? What she wants to punish him. Yeah, pay
- 22:28Speaker 1: the ticket to trust me. Ain't the best lesson is
- 22:33Speaker 1: about lesson? Let me tell you something. Them tickets. You're
- 22:36Speaker 1: gonna quit doing that if you if you got to
- 22:38Speaker 1: keep paying him, Yeah, yeah, you want to punish him
- 22:42Speaker 1: the ticket. That's why they gave him the ticket. They've
- 22:44Speaker 1: already decided the punishment. The fine is the punishment, and
- 22:50Speaker 1: if you keep doing it, they're gonna take your driver's
- 22:52Speaker 1: less You don't. You don't have to punish him. Some
- 22:54Speaker 1: people don't need kids, that damn car, He would no
- 23:01Speaker 1: elementary asked parenting question. All right, moving on to Jabria
- 23:07Speaker 1: in High Point, Jabria. Right, I'm a twenty eight year
- 23:09Speaker 1: old single woman and I let a friend from college
- 23:12Speaker 1: stay with me for the weekend. He got in late
- 23:15Speaker 1: one night and came and laid across my bed to talk.
- 23:18Speaker 1: He was tipsy, but he smells so good. I wanted
- 23:22Speaker 1: him so bad, but he didn't try to touch me.
- 23:25Speaker 1: If he didn't make a move, does that mean he
- 23:27Speaker 1: doesn't like me? Well, and he could be doing like
- 23:31Speaker 1: every other man doing. You know, he's just your friend
- 23:34Speaker 1: because that's what you that's the category you put him in.
- 23:38Speaker 1: He laid across your bed to test you didn't do nothing.
- 23:42Speaker 1: He'll be back in that now. See the fact that
- 23:45Speaker 1: you didn't put him off the bed. Oh, he gonna
- 23:47Speaker 1: come and he ain't gonna lay cross next time. He
- 23:51Speaker 1: gonna be horizontal that bed. Yeah, at the same damn cologne. O.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You can believe that he just testing the water. I'm
- 24:00Speaker 1: gonna lay cross the foot of the bed and see
- 24:02Speaker 1: how she feel you didn't put him out. Trust me,
- 24:04Speaker 1: he'd be back in there. All right, all right, that's
- 24:08Speaker 1: all ok, all right. Moving on to Paulina and Callie.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Paulina says, I'm forty four. Let me just say one
- 24:16Speaker 1: of the things, I ain't never laid across the foot
- 24:19Speaker 1: of the bed of a girl. I ain't wanning, okay,
- 24:23Speaker 1: in my life. The same applies for Jabia, Jabria's college friend, Tommy,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you ever laid across the girl's bed and didn't want her?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Now your bed, I laid across I want it, Julia. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 1: we'll just say yeah for Julia Junior. Speechless right now,
- 24:43Speaker 1: go ahead, all right. Moving on to Paulina and Callie.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Paulina says, I'm forty four and my daughter is twenty seven.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Because I had her so young, we looked more like friends.
- 24:54Speaker 1: One of my exes said that he took her out
- 24:56Speaker 1: and she was a quote good time. She had to
- 25:00Speaker 1: mention it to me, and I don't want her settling
- 25:02Speaker 1: for my leftovers. What do I do? Well, you should
- 25:07Speaker 1: probably tell her be careful. I've dated him and he's
- 25:13Speaker 1: telling y'all's business. That's what I do, and then just
- 25:17Speaker 1: walk away. She can handle it like that. If I
- 25:20Speaker 1: were you, I would be careful. I dated him and
- 25:23Speaker 1: now he dated you and said you were a good time.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know he's telling your business and
- 25:29Speaker 1: that ain't that ain't being messy or nothing. That ain't snitching.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You know. That's that's fair right there? What a good
- 25:37Speaker 1: time mean? You think what you're thinking? Missus? I want
- 25:42Speaker 1: to know. I want you to say it. Well, if
- 25:44Speaker 1: I'm out with a woman and we had a really
- 25:45Speaker 1: good time, we wasn't sitting up there eating I eat
- 25:50Speaker 1: by myself, health good as time, you know. Hell stop
- 25:56Speaker 1: it at Wendy's with Boomerang used to be a good
- 25:58Speaker 1: ass to you know, definitely one of your boys. You know,
- 26:02Speaker 1: that's where it was, you know, me and boom stop
- 26:04Speaker 1: and get a triple at Wendy's back in the dairy.
- 26:06Speaker 1: That was you know about that? You think he would
- 26:10Speaker 1: tell her mom, his ex that about his daughter. Why
- 26:14Speaker 1: your daughter? Why would no? No? Why would he mention
- 26:19Speaker 1: it to the mother? He got type of dude. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:23Speaker 1: I took your daughter out. I had your daughter too,
- 26:27Speaker 1: because he is skank aass dude, that's why he told him. Yeah, okay,
- 26:32Speaker 1: So there's no purpose to you trying to hurt the woman.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I took your daughter. She was a good time. Yeah
- 26:43Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, I just wanted okay. Moving on to
- 26:46Speaker 1: Marla in Panama City, Marla says, I'm fifty nine years
- 26:50Speaker 1: old and married. I love going to the casino on
- 26:53Speaker 1: on the weekends and I get a room because I
- 26:56Speaker 1: like to drink and gamble. My husband thinks I'm cheating,
- 26:59Speaker 1: and I'm tired of proving myself. Do I give up
- 27:02Speaker 1: my hobby because he's insecure? I'm not? Well? I would.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I would have to see. If you're a man, it's
- 27:10Speaker 1: different if you get in the room down there because
- 27:14Speaker 1: you're drinking and your wife thank you cheating? You got
- 27:16Speaker 1: to do something to prove it. As a man, you
- 27:19Speaker 1: gotta do something to prove. You gotta bring her with yourself,
- 27:22Speaker 1: have her in the room, and then you just stay
- 27:25Speaker 1: down there a couple hours later, you know, so she
- 27:28Speaker 1: don't want to go next time. But a woman, you're saying,
- 27:33Speaker 1: it's different, it's I mean, you're get in the room
- 27:36Speaker 1: because you like to drink. He thank you cheating? That's crazy.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I mean, if he don't trust you out, I can't
- 27:42Speaker 1: help you. I don't know what to do. Do you
- 27:44Speaker 1: have a track record of cheating as he has anything
- 27:47Speaker 1: to be worried about it? As he found photos numbers?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Do you pick up the phone and go in another
- 27:52Speaker 1: room when he rang? Or all that right there? Well,
- 27:54Speaker 1: she says she's tired of proving herself. She did say that. Well,
- 27:57Speaker 1: if she tired of proving it, then you know, quick
- 27:59Speaker 1: going to the casino and quit doing the thing you
- 28:01Speaker 1: like to do and just sit up under his ass
- 28:06Speaker 1: because it's old as obviously, ain't going nowhere. Don't like
- 28:12Speaker 1: the gambell man? Please? So is he insecure? Well, I
- 28:18Speaker 1: mean sometimes I ain't insecure. I want ladies to understand
- 28:23Speaker 1: something about me. And sometimes it's not insecurity. Sometimes it's
- 28:26Speaker 1: controlling and you got to know the difference. But then
- 28:32Speaker 1: you'd have to know your man. Yeah, you know if
- 28:36Speaker 1: he's insecure or he's controlling. There are two different things,
- 28:39Speaker 1: and you know who you have. You fifty nine, you've
- 28:42Speaker 1: been married for a while. You know if he's controlling
- 28:44Speaker 1: or insecure. Now, if he both, I would have been
- 28:47Speaker 1: negut the divorce. I recommend divorce. I don't really I'm
- 28:53Speaker 1: not the person that hanging there to death to you,
- 28:57Speaker 1: part once, I feel like I'm dying to death news
- 29:05Speaker 1: Part it once, I feel like I'm dying, It's time
- 29:07Speaker 1: in Paul, It's time to get out, all right, as
- 29:14Speaker 1: soon as I feel like I'm dying, all right, Thank you, Cielo.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 29:20Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you. Right after this. You're listening
- 29:23Speaker 1: to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well, Rihanna gave birth
- 29:29Speaker 1: to her first child. It was a baby boy with
- 29:31Speaker 1: rapper boyfriend Asap Rocky. The baby was born May thirteenth
- 29:35Speaker 1: in Los Angeles, and the couple has not yet released
- 29:38Speaker 1: the baby's name. Asap opened up about um one day
- 29:43Speaker 1: becoming a dad during a May twenty twenty one interview
- 29:45Speaker 1: with GQ, saying, I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably
- 29:50Speaker 1: overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child,
- 29:53Speaker 1: very fly. Meanwhile, in a March twenty two, twenty twenty
- 29:58Speaker 1: two interview with el Mac magazine, Rihanna predicted that she
- 30:01Speaker 1: will be a quote psycho mom. I feel that that's
- 30:05Speaker 1: the type of mom. I'm going to be psycho about it.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I think they'll both be great parents. And congratulations to
- 30:12Speaker 1: the both of them. You know. Well, all I can
- 30:14Speaker 1: say is, oh, come on, welcome and you all. Hardest
- 30:24Speaker 1: thing you'll ever do, yea, is be responsible for the welfare, being, guidance, love,
- 30:30Speaker 1: and existence of another human being. Watch this is true? Um.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Other yeah, other baby news. Flavor Flame. Flavor Flame just
- 30:43Speaker 1: found out that he is the father of his eighth child.
- 30:48Speaker 1: All right, eighth one more than you, Steve, according to
- 30:52Speaker 1: t MZ. You know, hired. You know you ain't gonna
- 30:58Speaker 1: take all that, you know one morning? Yeah, my seven.
- 31:02Speaker 1: The youngest one is twenty five, so you know, not three. Yeah,
- 31:08Speaker 1: big difference. Flave father the child with his former manager,
- 31:12Speaker 1: and the little boy is now three years old. Like
- 31:14Speaker 1: we said, flav and the woman worked together back in
- 31:17Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, and he initially asked for a DNA test,
- 31:21Speaker 1: and once it was confirmed that he is the father Flavor,
- 31:24Speaker 1: Curt just showed me the picture. I'd have told you, now,
- 31:30Speaker 1: how old is flav gonna be at this baby graduation? Well,
- 31:34Speaker 1: he's sixty three now, he's sixty three now the babies three,
- 31:38Speaker 1: So you got fifteen years right, eighteen, So he'll be
- 31:41Speaker 1: what seventy eight? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he gonna be
- 31:47Speaker 1: after graduation. But they're gonna have to nudge him when
- 31:50Speaker 1: he walked by. Did he called Flavor? But he flavor?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Flavor is hell Flave. Yeah. But the clock donna change.
- 32:05Speaker 1: It ain't gonna be around no more. It's gonna be
- 32:07Speaker 1: when them tall as grandfather clock, the one you stand
- 32:12Speaker 1: up on the end of the corner. Yeah, right right,
- 32:15Speaker 1: the clock donna look different, but the Roman numerals, Yeah,
- 32:19Speaker 1: he gonna have on the same clock that's in London. Wow,
- 32:31Speaker 1: is Drayton having a little boy? Name is Atlas. He's
- 32:37Speaker 1: paying child support and that he's worked out custody arrangements.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So I do like that about Flame. Yeah, man, Flav'
- 32:45Speaker 1: always been a good dad. Yeah, So there you go,
- 32:50Speaker 1: Flavor Flame at seventy eight he's still gonna be flavor. Yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: they're gonna think that's his granddaddy, though I promise you
- 32:59Speaker 1: they don't think that's his papa. They go do the
- 33:02Speaker 1: flavor flame days. Iced to do that all the time.
- 33:05Speaker 1: All right, all right? Moving on? Well, um wow. A
- 33:12Speaker 1: year after Bill Cosby was released from prison, he's heading
- 33:16Speaker 1: back to trial for an alleged sexual assault. This time
- 33:19Speaker 1: he's been the case. Judy Hues alleges that Cosby groped
- 33:24Speaker 1: her at the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles. This happened
- 33:28Speaker 1: fifty years ago when she was just a teenager. She's
- 33:31Speaker 1: suing him for sexual battery in a civil case, and
- 33:35Speaker 1: Cosby has denied all the allegations. Cosby's attorneys took issue
- 33:40Speaker 1: with the accuser changing the details of her story from
- 33:43Speaker 1: the alleged assault taking place in seventy five, not in
- 33:47Speaker 1: nineteen seventy four as she previously reported. Jury selection is
- 33:51Speaker 1: set to begin later today. Now Cosby's eighty four. How
- 33:55Speaker 1: did this all come out? You know, where does this
- 33:58Speaker 1: coming from? You know, there's a Playboy documentary streaming on TV,
- 34:03Speaker 1: and a lot of things are coming out, not just
- 34:06Speaker 1: about Cosby but for other people as well because of
- 34:11Speaker 1: this whole Playboy documentary. So the behavior that went on
- 34:14Speaker 1: at the mansion, oh yeah, it was as a Playboy mansion. Yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 1: they were wilding. Okay, I just don't understand being quiet
- 34:23Speaker 1: so long. But it doesn't mean that she was or
- 34:26Speaker 1: that that she didn't try. Maybe, you know, because he
- 34:29Speaker 1: was so popular and powerful and powerful at NBC at
- 34:34Speaker 1: the time, you know, number one show. So you could
- 34:37Speaker 1: be under age and get into Playboy mansion. You could
- 34:40Speaker 1: be under age and get into Playboy mansion. Well, I mean,
- 34:45Speaker 1: you know, it's no telling what went on there. Yeah,
- 34:48Speaker 1: I think anything was possible. Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, so
- 34:56Speaker 1: um yeah. So now, like I said, jury selection is
- 34:59Speaker 1: set to begin later today. We'll see how this one goes.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Bill Cosby is about what eighty four years old. I
- 35:08Speaker 1: wouldn't drink water with him. I'm so scared with him.
- 35:14Speaker 1: I'm really sad. Is really yeah it is. This is
- 35:17Speaker 1: a civil case, so she's looking for money and um
- 35:22Speaker 1: in this particular instance. But um wow, yeah, fifty years
- 35:26Speaker 1: is a long time. You know. I know you're not
- 35:30Speaker 1: supposed to comment, so I can't say, but let me
- 35:34Speaker 1: ask you a question, ladies, does this seem fair at
- 35:37Speaker 1: this point. Um, if he did it, then it's it's fair.
- 35:43Speaker 1: There's no time limit, right, that's that's exactly right. If
- 35:47Speaker 1: he did this, I'm sure this woman wants some kind
- 35:50Speaker 1: of you know, pa compensation whatever. Yeah, compensation whatever for
- 35:58Speaker 1: what she had to go through. Um, yeah, all right,
- 36:01Speaker 1: that's all the time we have coming up at twenty
- 36:03Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Are you registered to vote? We
- 36:06Speaker 1: sure hope, so we'll talk about that right after this
- 36:09Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. Georgia experienced a record number
- 36:15Speaker 1: of early voter turnout for the twenty twenty two primary elections.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That's great news, right, more than seven hundred thousand people
- 36:22Speaker 1: voted early, and the recent surge shatters the twenty twenty
- 36:26Speaker 1: early voting total. Voters have several key races to decide
- 36:30Speaker 1: on in the US Senate, US House, and Georgia governor.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Tomorrow is Tuesday, May twenty fourth. It is the actual
- 36:38Speaker 1: election day. Georgia, Alabama, and Arkansas all have primary elections
- 36:43Speaker 1: tomorrow Tuesday, May twenty fourth. So if you didn't vote
- 36:46Speaker 1: early tomorrow it's the actual election day, you can vote
- 36:50Speaker 1: that day as well. Get out and vote, can vote.
- 36:56Speaker 1: We have got to get out and vote in Georgia.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams is on it. Oh yeah, yeah, in the
- 37:03Speaker 1: primary for the Democratic nod for governor absolutely Alabama and Arkansas.
- 37:09Speaker 1: And if you have any questions, let me tell you
- 37:12Speaker 1: dot org. Let me tell you how they are, how
- 37:14Speaker 1: afraid they are stay Siable. The campaign between Kemp and Perdue,
- 37:22Speaker 1: they're saying Kemp beat stay Abrams before, and he can
- 37:27Speaker 1: do it again. That's his campaign against the other Republicans.
- 37:32Speaker 1: That's how afraid they are of her. She's brilliant too. Well.
- 37:36Speaker 1: They need to be afraid because we're voting for her, right.
- 37:39Speaker 1: They're not running against each other. They're running to put
- 37:42Speaker 1: somebody in there who they hope can beat stay Siable.
- 37:45Speaker 1: All We're gonna shock them, yes, sir, yes, I'll come
- 37:49Speaker 1: on Georgia. We got work to do. Yes, we do
- 37:53Speaker 1: work to do. That's it. But I mean, yeah, good
- 37:56Speaker 1: news though that it was a record turnout. Good news
- 37:59Speaker 1: for early voting. Let's keep the momentum going, keep it going.
- 38:03Speaker 1: And again, if you have any questions about voting, your
- 38:05Speaker 1: polling places, all of that for Election Day tomorrow, go
- 38:08Speaker 1: to when we All Vote dot org. When we All
- 38:11Speaker 1: Vote dot org. It's not too late. We need to
- 38:15Speaker 1: keep that same energy we have for the presidential election
- 38:18Speaker 1: this year. We got to keep the same voting energy.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Mid term elections are coming up. Don't slee up every election,
- 38:27Speaker 1: stay woken every election. Yeah, every election, I mean, And
- 38:33Speaker 1: the same goes for Alabama, Arkansas, every state, I mean,
- 38:38Speaker 1: you know, every state that has elections tomorrow, every single state.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Please get out and vote. Get out and vote. We
- 38:46Speaker 1: need you, We need you. It's critical. And to young
- 38:50Speaker 1: people that may not have voted in the last election,
- 38:52Speaker 1: may not been old enough to vote, do your homework,
- 38:55Speaker 1: give registered. Let's you know, time and see her. Well,
- 38:59Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all, here's a deal. The Republicans have all
- 39:03Speaker 1: gotten together and decided to ride that lie out about
- 39:07Speaker 1: the election being stolen and fraud. No Republican judge or
- 39:14Speaker 1: Conservative judge found any evidence of that at all. It's
- 39:19Speaker 1: nothing but a lie. They are up to all the
- 39:21Speaker 1: tricks on this one, y'all. We just got show up
- 39:24Speaker 1: in vote. That's right, that's right, Steve all right. Coming
- 39:28Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, a Virginia
- 39:31Speaker 1: mom is suing a school over the critical race theory.
- 39:34Speaker 1: We'll find out what that's all about. Right after this
- 39:36Speaker 1: You're Listening show, a white Virginia mom says her thirteen
- 39:43Speaker 1: year old son has changed since he learned about critical
- 39:46Speaker 1: race theory and now she's suing the school. In an
- 39:50Speaker 1: interview with Jesse Waters Primetime, Melinda Riley says she never
- 39:54Speaker 1: had issues with her son before the Albemarle School District
- 39:59Speaker 1: introduced used him to the critical race theory. Because of
- 40:03Speaker 1: the information, Riley says her son now identifies as black.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Now she's white and the child's father is black, so
- 40:11Speaker 1: technically he's bi racial. She is the custodial single parent,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and she is very concerned now that her son sees
- 40:20Speaker 1: himself as just a black man. Take a listen, Well,
- 40:24Speaker 1: he's seen himself just as a black man. He's seen
- 40:27Speaker 1: things that don't go his way as racism, and he's
- 40:32Speaker 1: finding safety in numbers now. So when you're saying he
- 40:36Speaker 1: gets a bad grade at school, he blames racism, or
- 40:39Speaker 1: a girl rejects him on a date racism, or those
- 40:42Speaker 1: the kind of things you're seeing. Yes, I ask him
- 40:44Speaker 1: to clean the house. Racism. Yes, you're kidding, right, Are
- 40:48Speaker 1: you serious? No, I'm serious. They have totally changed his perspective.
- 40:52Speaker 1: They have put him in a box. See see here's
- 40:55Speaker 1: what the problem. Yeah, your son is learning things about himself. Now,
- 41:05Speaker 1: you're biracial, so you don't want him just to identify
- 41:08Speaker 1: with the black But I can assure you if his
- 41:12Speaker 1: appearance denotes any tones of blackness, that's how he gonna
- 41:18Speaker 1: get treated. And now what he's realizing, and it explains
- 41:22Speaker 1: a lot to him now by you being his white mom,
- 41:26Speaker 1: and I understand, and you're very, very loving and caring
- 41:29Speaker 1: of your son. And that's not what this comment is
- 41:31Speaker 1: about that I'm making. But your son, because his father
- 41:35Speaker 1: is black, he's identifying with that and he's learning what
- 41:39Speaker 1: that means because some things has happened to him that
- 41:42Speaker 1: you don't know about and that he can't share with you,
- 41:46Speaker 1: and you have no answers for. So maybe because of
- 41:51Speaker 1: the way he's looked and he's maybe approached the white
- 41:55Speaker 1: girl with it and was turned down, maybe he's starting
- 41:59Speaker 1: to get the fact. Hey, maybe because my hand looks
- 42:01Speaker 1: like this in my skin tone, that might have something
- 42:04Speaker 1: to do with it. You can sue the school all
- 42:08Speaker 1: you want, but welcome to the world that we live
- 42:11Speaker 1: in on a daily basis. Yeah, And I'm sorry that
- 42:15Speaker 1: you think this is being taught in school. It's being
- 42:19Speaker 1: taught in his life every day. It's just schools now,
- 42:23Speaker 1: I got a course talking about it. Y'all mad about that?
- 42:28Speaker 1: And it's the truth. Sorry, clean room? Then the reporter
- 42:38Speaker 1: the purport if he wants to clean your room, he
- 42:40Speaker 1: has a problem. That's racism. Are you serious, lady? We
- 42:43Speaker 1: already know it ain't that simple. Yeah, ain't cleaning room
- 42:47Speaker 1: while asking me to clean my room. So it ain't
- 42:51Speaker 1: that simple. And we know that, right, we know an
- 42:55Speaker 1: extreme example. But that's how the world is going to
- 43:01Speaker 1: treat him as a black kid and a black man.
- 43:05Speaker 1: That's how the world sees him. If you have you know, um,
- 43:08Speaker 1: so he's acting accordingly. Now she said the boy finds
- 43:14Speaker 1: safety in numbers. Boy, how true? Is right there? I'd
- 43:23Speaker 1: like to hear what the school thing about her lawsuit?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Same over here, we struggling at we don't. I'm thinking
- 43:35Speaker 1: about marching down here at this damn school. What they're doing.
- 43:42Speaker 1: See what they're doing. They're putting the kool aid down
- 43:46Speaker 1: at thee. See they trying to do with dog. The
- 43:50Speaker 1: problem is if the mother has a problem with her
- 43:56Speaker 1: son identifying with the black father and the black call.
- 44:02Speaker 1: That's what it seems to be the problem. That's the
- 44:05Speaker 1: deeper problem. That's the issue. Sounds like because every night going,
- 44:08Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna turn out like Tiger Woods lady and
- 44:11Speaker 1: get to call the self cablination. That's not how this works. Nope. Now,
- 44:17Speaker 1: if you have some black in you, it doesn't, all right, Obama? Yeah, yeah,
- 44:23Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on. Coming up next, it is
- 44:25Speaker 1: the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:29Speaker 1: you're listening to show coming up at four minutes after
- 44:35Speaker 1: the hour, today's strawberry letter is married to a moocher.
- 44:40Speaker 1: We'll get into that in just a bit, but right
- 44:42Speaker 1: now it is time for today's prank phone call with
- 44:45Speaker 1: the nephew. Nephew, what you got bad? Let me look
- 44:48Speaker 1: in here and see what I have. What's on the menu? Yeah,
- 44:53Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I'll be trying to figure out
- 44:55Speaker 1: what to gear y'all. I don't never know if y'all
- 44:56Speaker 1: won't advertise on trade dessert. You know I have the

- 46:19Speaker 1: about putting my foot out the door. Yeah, so just
- 46:24Speaker 1: for safety, you stick it. I'm sorry. My name is
- 46:27Speaker 1: Milton with m Precious pop Up Pedicure. We do pedicure
- 46:30Speaker 1: as we go around because we know a lot of
- 46:32Speaker 1: people can't get out. So you know, we're small business
- 46:35Speaker 1: we're just trying to stay afloat right now. So that's
- 46:37Speaker 1: but your husband called in about you know, he called us.
- 46:40Speaker 1: He wanted to get an appointment for you. And but
- 46:42Speaker 1: we come to your house and when you stick your
- 46:44Speaker 1: leg out, we'll do the pedicure, and then you stick
- 46:46Speaker 1: the other leg out and we'll do that one. Melton, honey, sweetheart,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I know you've seen a lot of feet and you've
- 46:51Speaker 1: done a lot of toes and hands. And let me
- 46:53Speaker 1: tell you something. I put my feet out the window.
- 46:57Speaker 1: First of all, Well, whichever it is convenient, the window
- 47:01Speaker 1: of the door, I don't care what it is. If
- 47:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna get my feet done, I'm gonna have my
- 47:07Speaker 1: dump my feet done in a chair inside, and I
- 47:10Speaker 1: would be I'd be out of my head if I
- 47:13Speaker 1: put my feet out the window. People don't see my
- 47:15Speaker 1: feet out the window. That is crazy. And I'm I'm
- 47:19Speaker 1: coming correct as as a businesswoman, woman's a man, Milton.
- 47:24Speaker 1: I suggest you just you tell her that back in.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Maybe you can do some some buy me in advanced
- 47:29Speaker 1: pettitars like that from my feet are too fragile beautiful
- 47:33Speaker 1: to be putting out there. Well, well, there there's lives
- 47:36Speaker 1: the problem man, And if you don't mind your your husband,
- 47:40Speaker 1: Kelvin is the one that called, and he's the one
- 47:42Speaker 1: that says that your feet look a mess. So that's
- 47:44Speaker 1: why we're calling. He's the one that booked the appointment
- 47:47Speaker 1: for you. You know what, My feet are beautiful. And again, Milton,
- 47:52Speaker 1: you know they are they beautiful now? Since you've been
- 47:54Speaker 1: in I'm sorry, use me? Are you? Are you the
- 47:57Speaker 1: person who should be telling me that? That's till my
- 48:00Speaker 1: husband who I will have a conversation with after this conversation.
- 48:03Speaker 1: So I guess my question is, man, you're saying your
- 48:06Speaker 1: feet are beautiful, but are they beautiful now since they
- 48:09Speaker 1: you've been locked up for a month or so. I mean,
- 48:11Speaker 1: evidently you ever doing your feet are scaring your husband
- 48:14Speaker 1: because he's the one calling saying, oh my god, I
- 48:17Speaker 1: gotta get my wife's feet done. My feet are gorgeous, tweetheart, Okay,
- 48:21Speaker 1: they're beautiful, the supple, the beautiful that got a beautiful
- 48:24Speaker 1: tone of caramel to them. They shine at the sunshine.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Whether they're policed or not. My husband will love them
- 48:30Speaker 1: whether they're painted clips. Well, I don't think your husband
- 48:33Speaker 1: loves them because he called us. Obviously, Milton, you're not thinking,
- 48:38Speaker 1: and I think you need to check with your wife, Wendy.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Do you know that there's no reason you should ever
- 48:43Speaker 1: have this conversation with a grown woman about her feet,
- 48:45Speaker 1: is what her husband says. I don't know you, and
- 48:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as polite as possible. You will
- 48:51Speaker 1: not be stepping into my window, are you crazy? I'm
- 48:55Speaker 1: not gonna come in your window. You just stick your
- 48:57Speaker 1: foot out of the window of the door, whichever one
- 48:59Speaker 1: is convenient for you. Okay, it's not that hard. It's
- 49:02Speaker 1: gonna fifteen twenty minutes and we're done. Oh no, no, no, no,
- 49:06Speaker 1: you are not getting business fifteen or twenty minutes. Do
- 49:08Speaker 1: you know how much time it takes to get a
- 49:10Speaker 1: pedicure done? You know this is well, this is a
- 49:14Speaker 1: pop up. It's a pop up pedicure, pop up down.
- 49:20Speaker 1: You're gonna be driving through with freewos at this point.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I'm not taking that. No, no, no, no no. And
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm having a conversation with my husband to never call
- 49:28Speaker 1: you again. And I do suggest that you have a
- 49:31Speaker 1: conversation with Wendy, who I don't know, but I think
- 49:33Speaker 1: she would agree with me. Twenty ten minutes is not
- 49:36Speaker 1: long enough. My feet are beautiful. And don't ever call
- 49:39Speaker 1: me again and tell me that you think, for some
- 49:41Speaker 1: reason that because my husband told you that they were
- 49:44Speaker 1: bad feet or I needed to get a pedicure, that
- 49:46Speaker 1: you have the right to tell me that you don't
- 49:49Speaker 1: know me. And if you do ever come by my house,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I swear to God I will stick my foot up yours.
- 49:56Speaker 1: And don't ever ever trying to bring that up to
- 50:00Speaker 1: me again. Don't call my house. This is what this
- 50:04Speaker 1: is what Kelvin told us. Man, okay, Levin told me
- 50:07Speaker 1: what you are not supposed to tell a woman that.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm done. I'm okay. But you do
- 50:15Speaker 1: you want do you want to know what else Kelvin?
- 50:17Speaker 1: Do you want to know what else Kelvin told us
- 50:18Speaker 1: to do? Do you want to know what else Kelvin
- 50:20Speaker 1: told us to do? No? I don't, okay, okay, but
- 50:23Speaker 1: can I just can I just please tell you what
- 50:25Speaker 1: else Kelvin told us? Seconds then I'm hanging up. Okay,
- 50:29Speaker 1: this is a moment of true Kelvin gave us a call.
- 50:32Speaker 1: He gave me a call me nephew Tommy from the
- 50:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey more on the show. He told me the
- 50:37Speaker 1: prank phone call his wife. No, I'm serious? Are you serious? Yo?
- 50:47Speaker 1: You know what sweetheart? You're you are so on car
- 50:51Speaker 1: right now because if this had actually been the fruit,
- 50:54Speaker 1: I would have been throwing my husband out the door.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Excuse my frankiness. How are you? How are you doing?
- 51:02Speaker 1: I mean not going to have you on the phone.
- 51:03Speaker 1: If we have a hard hardest, because I love you,
- 51:07Speaker 1: we can have heart to heart. How you doing? How
- 51:11Speaker 1: are you doing? How are you doing? Doing this this
- 51:14Speaker 1: whole pandemic? How are you doing? I'm okay, I'm okay,
- 51:17Speaker 1: I'm you know, my feet are looking good. But I've
- 51:20Speaker 1: been listening to you on the day leave and thank
- 51:23Speaker 1: you put your voice there we go. I appreciate it.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I've been staying up to beat and everything. You've been
- 51:28Speaker 1: putting a smile on my face every day. Um, I
- 51:32Speaker 1: feel like there's a new life here now. So you know,
- 51:35Speaker 1: thinks are great. I love me from Cattleman. Let me
- 51:36Speaker 1: tell you that I love you too. I appreciate Hey

- 51:41Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 51:44Speaker 1: There's nothing better than the seed Harvard Morning Show, the
- 51:47Speaker 1: Banks Radio showing the man. Hey see, yeah, that will
- 52:01Speaker 1: give you the most praise and worship. Do we still

- 52:52Speaker 1: feet done. Go out and get yourself a pedicure today,

- 52:58Speaker 1: little bit. It's necessary sometimes you need that. All you

- 53:07Speaker 1: with you? What's wrong with you? There's a lot of men, Tom,
- 53:13Speaker 1: I know, man, I know. If you can kick a

- 54:47Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 54:49Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew,
- 54:52Speaker 1: subject married to a moocher. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 54:56Speaker 1: thirty eight year old married woman and my husband is
- 54:59Speaker 1: thirty four. We've been married for four years and we're
- 55:02Speaker 1: getting our first house built, so I've had to put
- 55:05Speaker 1: my husband on a budget to make sure we can
- 55:08Speaker 1: afford to furnish our new house. He is the one
- 55:11Speaker 1: that is always shopping and buying gadgets for the house.
- 55:14Speaker 1: We are sharing one credit card and I give him
- 55:17Speaker 1: an allowance weekly at his request. His money is usually
- 55:21Speaker 1: gone within two days because he's forgotten. He's a baller
- 55:24Speaker 1: on a budget and will splurge on a steak for
- 55:27Speaker 1: lunch a couple of days a week. I blame it
- 55:30Speaker 1: on his parents, who still enable him and coddle him.
- 55:34Speaker 1: He's definitely not a mama's boy, but his mama can't
- 55:37Speaker 1: stand to hear him complain about money. They're retired and
- 55:41Speaker 1: have plenty of money saved up, so they give it
- 55:43Speaker 1: to him if he asks. It's gotten so bad that
- 55:47Speaker 1: his mother called me and said she needs my help
- 55:49Speaker 1: because her son said he's on a budget and can't
- 55:52Speaker 1: afford to eat lunch during the week. I reminded her
- 55:55Speaker 1: that her son is bougie and I can't eat leftovers
- 55:59Speaker 1: for lunch. So's his fault if he can't afford his
- 56:01Speaker 1: overpriced lunches. That's when she opened up about how much
- 56:05Speaker 1: money they've given my husband in the past month. She
- 56:08Speaker 1: called her own son a moocher, and she blamed herself
- 56:11Speaker 1: since she spoiled him all of his life. She said
- 56:15Speaker 1: that I have a problem on my hands if he
- 56:17Speaker 1: doesn't stop spending. She told me to check his closet
- 56:20Speaker 1: because he's been buying new shirts and leaving out with
- 56:23Speaker 1: his t shirt on, then putting the new shirt on
- 56:26Speaker 1: before he walks into his office. My mother in law
- 56:29Speaker 1: wants me to talk to my husband and tell him
- 56:31Speaker 1: to stop mooching off them. I think it's their job
- 56:34Speaker 1: to finish raising their son. Should I get into the
- 56:38Speaker 1: middle of their problem, I'll agree with you, this is
- 56:42Speaker 1: his parents problem, but this is also you and your
- 56:45Speaker 1: husband's problem. This is the whole family issue right here.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Your husband wants what he wants and he doesn't care
- 56:51Speaker 1: where he gets it if he can't get it from you.
- 56:53Speaker 1: If he spends all the money you give him, then
- 56:55Speaker 1: he'll go to his mom and she'll give it to him.
- 56:57Speaker 1: So he is a mama's boy in that sense. I
- 57:01Speaker 1: think he's immature, and I think his mom, you know,
- 57:04Speaker 1: keeps giving him money because she obviously can't say no
- 57:08Speaker 1: to him, even now that he's a grown man with
- 57:11Speaker 1: the family of his own. She wants you to talk
- 57:14Speaker 1: to him and be the bad guy, so to speak.
- 57:18Speaker 1: And that's a problem. But you all need to talk,
- 57:21Speaker 1: all of you. Maybe when he sees that you guys
- 57:23Speaker 1: are all in one accord about saving and sacrificing for
- 57:27Speaker 1: the new house, he'll get it. Maybe not, but you
- 57:29Speaker 1: got to do something. You got to put some sort
- 57:32Speaker 1: of system in place where a certain amount of money
- 57:35Speaker 1: goes into the house account. You know. Try that. I
- 57:37Speaker 1: think that's a good place to start. His parents have
- 57:40Speaker 1: to be on board with this in order for this
- 57:42Speaker 1: to work. Though I do know it can be done
- 57:46Speaker 1: because people do it every day. It's hard for him
- 57:49Speaker 1: because he's never had to do anything like this before.
- 57:51Speaker 1: He's been spoiled. His mom told you that, and you
- 57:54Speaker 1: probably knew it before you married him, and it's all
- 57:57Speaker 1: part of growing up and being responsible. He is a
- 58:00Speaker 1: grown man, but his parents need to put a stop
- 58:04Speaker 1: to him running to them every time he needs money.
- 58:06Speaker 1: If they want to give him money, leave it for
- 58:09Speaker 1: him in the will. Okay, that's what I say. From
- 58:11Speaker 1: now on, they're not teaching him anything if they keep
- 58:14Speaker 1: spoiling him this way. Steve, this letter. It's utterly ridiculous,
- 58:22Speaker 1: And I'll tell you why. You're not married to a moocher.
- 58:26Speaker 1: That's not the problem. Now, I don't need This is
- 58:29Speaker 1: the wrong title for this letter. You're married to what's
- 58:33Speaker 1: supposed to be a man who doesn't act like a
- 58:37Speaker 1: man who hasn't grown up and who hasn't been required
- 58:40Speaker 1: to grow up. That's not a moocher. That's something totally different.
- 58:46Speaker 1: We dealer hire. This is really ridiculous. You're thirty eight
- 58:49Speaker 1: and your husband is thirty four. You already was in
- 58:53Speaker 1: trouble with him. Not only is he younger than you,
- 58:58Speaker 1: but he acts like kid. That's scary. But he don't
- 59:03Speaker 1: even act thirty four. See if this letter was from
- 59:07Speaker 1: a sixteen year old or eighteen year old or twenty
- 59:10Speaker 1: year old, I could be a little bit more tolerant.
- 59:13Speaker 1: This guy is thirty four years old. So here's a deal.
- 59:21Speaker 1: We've been married four years. We're getting our first house,
- 59:23Speaker 1: so I've had to put my husband on a budget. Okay,
- 59:27Speaker 1: that's a little bit of a problem to make sure
- 59:30Speaker 1: we can afford to furnish our house. You couldn't just
- 59:33Speaker 1: tell him that. He don't understand that he is the
- 59:38Speaker 1: one that's always shopping and buying gadgets for the house.
- 59:41Speaker 1: We're sharing one credit card. I give him allowance weekly.
- 59:46Speaker 1: That's another problem. That's what you do for teenagers. At
- 59:50Speaker 1: his request. His money is usually gone within two days. Wow, dude, suck,
- 59:58Speaker 1: that's wrong, cause he's forgotten he's a baller on a budget. No,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: he's not a baller on a budget. He's not a baller. See,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: he's just on a budget because what you're described to
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: be next just threw me off. And he will splurge
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: on a steak for lunch a couple of days a week.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I'll be damn two steaks through your ass, complete out
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: of way, two damn pieces of meat. You s got
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the chicken and your asses out in steak. Hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after be our today's strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: married to a mucher. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, Steve, Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. Finish up
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: your response. The subject married to a mucher. You don't
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: like that title. I don't like the title because this
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: is a thirty four year old dude that can't stay
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: on budget and does a lot of other things too.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: We haven't gotten into it, but here we go. She
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: had to put this dude on the budget because they're
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: trying to buy a house and they want to be
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: able for furnitures. He's the one that's always shopping, buying
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: gadgets for the house. We share a credit card. I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: give him a weekly allowance. This is what you have
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: to do for a thirty four year old. Like I
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: said at the top of this letter, this letter was
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: about a sixteen year old, eighteen year old, a twenty
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: year old. I'd be a lot bit or tolerant. He's
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: thirty four. He's thirty four. What are we talking about him?
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: All right? And because he's forgotten and then the money
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: is usually gone that she gives him in two days
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: because he's forgotten. He's a ball on the budget. No,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: he's just on a budget. He will splurge on a
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: steak for lunch a couple of days a week, So
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: if you're in the restaurant, they got chicken fishing steak,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: and your decision to go with the steak twice throws
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: your whole budget out of what He's not making smart
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: decisions somewhere else, and this guy is just not But
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: then you explain it in the letter. I blame it
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: on his parents, who will enable him and coddle him.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: He's definitely not a mama's boy. But his mama can't
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: stand to hear him complain about money. They've retired, They
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: got plenty of money saved up, so they give it
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: to him if he asked. It's gotten so bad that
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: his mother called me and says she needs my help
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: because her son says he's on the budget and can't
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: afford to eat lunch during the week. So you go
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: to your mama for that. And then you said he's
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: not a mama's boy. Excuse me, excuse me. What do
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: you think of mama's boy? Is you put him on
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the budget? He mad, he goes as mama told me,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: He get on the budget, he can't even have lunch,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and then she give him the money. That's a mama's boy. See,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you're thinking of mama's boy if he got to be
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: up under all the time. Now, mama's boy, if he's
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: totally dependent on his mother instead of the other way around.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: When you grow up, you're supposed to take better care
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: of your parents the older you get. They shouldn't still
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: be taking care of you the older you get. That's
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: a mama's boy. I reminded her that her son is
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: boogie and ken't eat leftovers for lunch, so it's his
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: fault if he can't afford his overpriced lunches. That's when
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: she opened up about how much money they've give him
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: my husband in the past month. She called her own
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: son a mucha and she blamed herself since she spoiled
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: him all his life. She said that I have a
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: problem on my hands if he don't stop spitting. She
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: told me to check his closet because he's been buying
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: new shirts and leaving out with the T shirt on,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: then putting a new shirt on before he walks into
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the office. I hear women say that all the time,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: because when a man won't give him money, there I'll
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: see women they really see a man. A matter of fact,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I don't know any man in that boy, which lets
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: me know you have a boy, because I don't know
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: any man who do this. And you know, I don't
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: know any man who do this because at this age
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I don't hang out with nobody but men. You got
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: a lot on your hand, grown ass man's taking care
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: of families were sacrificing, so our families can't have a life. Man,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: get out of here. What are y'all tum on and
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: putting up? My mother in law wants me to talk
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: to my husband and tell him to stop mooching off
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: of them. I think it's their job to finish raising
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: their sons. Should I get into the middle of day problem?
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: What do you mean in the middle of day problem?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: This is your problem. This is your problem, ain't they problem?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: You ain't in the middle of day problem. You got
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: your own problem. What is the daddy doing? You said, parents?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Where where is his ass at? Or is he in
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the same position the boy? And maybe the boy is
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: emulating his father. That's why the father ain't stepped in
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: and said nothing. He got this, He got this behavior
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: from somewhere. So the boy's mama been been baby and
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: the daddy too. Maybe the daddy, saw I promise you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I couldn't go over Slick Harvey's house asked for a
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: damn thing. Ye boy, boy, are you coming over here
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to eat lunch? What? What? What? Ain't you working? Yeah, daddy,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: where your money? I spend it on two steaks? Well, yeah,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you ain't gonna beby steak no more. I'm just telling
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you how smooth it come stake when you go you
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: didn't started making some saying when you're taking the work.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: You can't come over here, boy, But man, your mama retired.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: We even to come over here. You what, this doesn't
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: make any sense what you're saying. He's thirty four. You
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: and them enabled him. He acts like a child. You
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: all treating him like a child. Now, let me ask
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: you something in this whole letter between you, the writer
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: of the letter, your mama ended daddy as anybody thought
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: of mentioning manhood to him. But the only one can
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: tell him how to man act is his father. And
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: his father is solid because I think he's duplicating what
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: his father did. But then you say they got a
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: lot of money and they both retired, so somebody did
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: something right in their family. Should I get in the
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: middle of the situation. Girl, you in the middle of
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: your own mess. Look look what his mama told you.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: She said, you got a problem on your hands. If
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: he don't stop spending, I leave, He's asked, that's what flash.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey promotes a divorce Why It is up on

- 1:07:13Speaker 1: thank you very much. Okay man, Nick Saban, let's just
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: gonna get this out of here. Who snitches? Get stitches?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: What a minute? Dree Man? So Nick Saban had the
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: number two recruiting class. Takes him had the number one
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: recruiting class. Congratulations Tommy. And Nick Saban said that an
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: l bought all day players name, image, and likeness, and
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Jimbo said, no, he didn't. But hey, Nick, you might
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: want to stop talking because you know you've been buying
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: players illegally. That's the addensation now. Also, he threw prime
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: in there, man, he threw coach prime and he said,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Dan Sanders got a player he paid a million dollars too,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: name Travis Yeah acts state. Man. Let me tell you something,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: probles say problems. That can't nobody to play for me
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: making more money than me that party. No, And you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: know I'm not saying like these kids now have a
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: right to sell their name into likeness and gonna play
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: for school. Well, how would you act up if they
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: gave you time, if they gave you a million dollar
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: to play ball with? What's gonna happen? I'm playing ball.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I don't do playing ball when I was that age.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: I'm not only playing ball for a million dollars. I'm
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: not gonna miss I swear to God, I'm not gonna
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: miss yeah Yeah. But I don't. I don't understand why
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Nick saved it upset because hey man, you ain't got
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the number one. He don't get his weight, And it's
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: kind of like he's saying that HBCU shouldn't be getting
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: these players. Has been running this game forever. That's why
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: they went on the side to pay these kids. Because
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: they're paying them anyway. Y'all need to stop the leaders
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: off the man's jaw to due Jim Bow they paid
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: some people. Texas got money, y'all paid some people, timing,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Yes she did, said yes, do it now, Mississippi Jackson, Stay,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: we ain't got money for water down that held. We're
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: trying to get these kids drinking water, get good dorms
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: down there. If the ball want to go play for
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: prime time, so can be around. One of the premier
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: coaches in the world to day, who's been in the
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: NFL player can understand all the struggles he going through.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Why can't he go play for prime Come on? Why not?
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: As soon as these black kids start playing for black
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: players at black schools now here. Come oh, they paid
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: a million dollars. You have no idea how much Crimson
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: tied and paid over the year of all um damn
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: playoffs man missing All right, junior, thank you, thank you.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Cardi B
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: talks about how she uses her platform as an influencer.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this. You're listening to
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Morning Show. In a preview for David Letterman's
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Netflix series called My Guest, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Cardi B sat down with Letterman and admitted that she
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: doesn't discuss politics in her rap lyrics, but she does
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: use her platform to express her views on political issues.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Cardi b has always been open to engage with politicians.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: She sat down for interviews with both Senator Bernie Sanders
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: and President Joe Biden. Cardie stated that she feels like
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: she has a responsibility to speak out. Take a listen.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: I think people in your position have a strength in
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: terms of political activism and changing the world and changing
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: the way people feel and think not only about themselves,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: but the problem to the world as large as wonderful.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I don't really put a lot of political things in
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: my music, but I use the filet on my platform,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: and I have used my platform even when I was
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: a dancer. Because you might think that people are not looking,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: but they are. Yeah, people may not understand, people may
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: be ignorant, and so somebody that they admire, somebody that
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: they respect, expresses a viewpoint on something current and controversial.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: That's great. Yeah, that's that's like being in class. That's
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: a direction. Okay, Karting, all right? Nice? Yeah, I mean, yeah, Steve,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: you use your platform to speak out when I of course,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I mean you know you, I mean, what's it for
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: if you have to do something of meaning with your life,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: everything can't be ha ha he he. Because people want
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: people want to be inspired, people want to be given hope,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: people want direction, people want information. Everybody needs that. You know,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: when you ain't laughing, you know you got to be
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: doing something. So we just always have taking a point
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: on this radio show to be a part of that,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: to do the things as necessary to help educate, to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: help motivate, to help, you know, inform our listeners. It's
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: our platform. You know, we stand up and we stand
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: up for justice. Injustice yeah, you know, we call out
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: people we need calling out. Man. What about I think
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: we talked about this last week, did we athletes and
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: actors who use their platform to speak out? I think
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: specifically Lebron's name was used because he's starting to do
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: that more and more. I mean, I think he's done
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: a great job of it. It's not his obligation, yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: but for them to take it on like a Cardi
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: b or Lebron or Steph and Patrick Beverly and Carmelo
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: and Colin Kaepernick and all these guys to bring awareness
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: all of the football players and stuff that knelt you
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: know what I mean? Even though it gathered the wrong attention,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: and even though they flipped the narrative damn President Trump
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: because he was trying to you know, uh, I man, Yeah,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I think, I think. I think it's great when young
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: people take that platform and do something with it. And
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: as far as h shut up and dribble, uh you
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: shut up and just do the damn news right and
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: let them seat. Yeah yeah, see see that's what you do.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: But see and then I want to say something else too.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: As black people, we can't afford to just be who
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: we are. We have an obligation to guide, uplift, motivate,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: to be come role models. Now, it's hard making a
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: person a role model. You know, nobody wants that put
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: on them. You're but it comes with the territory. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: you're thrust into the into that position, whether you want
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to be or not. It comes with the package. Man,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: And people gonna have some expectations of you. And some
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: of those expectations are unrealistic because the person is famous
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: or rich or athlete or something like that. Hell, they
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: just you know, right. But but Muhammad Ali had a
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: lot of flaws. Yeah, yeah, you know, Marl Luther King
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: did it with flaws. The only person did it right
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: with no flaws was Christ Jesus, Jesus, the rest of
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: us all right? Coming up in twenty minutes, we'll have
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: You're listening to the same Harvey Morning Show. A New
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: York surgeon has a wait list for luxurious Birken Body procedure.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: That is the new cosmetic surgery that gives patience what's
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: known as the Birken Body. Because it costs a fortune
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: and you still need to know the right people if
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: you want to get one. For seventy five thousand dollars.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Seventy five thousand dollars now, doctor Ryan Ninstein has patients
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: picked up from the airport and whisk to his clinic
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: at burged Off Goodman, where they're expertly tweaked and tucked.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: They're then taken to legendary hotel, the Pierre, two blocks away,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: where they recover with a twenty four hour nurse and
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: daily visits from the good doctor. Apparently, the procedure is
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: aimed mainly at moms and focuses on postpartum issues like
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: loose skin, muscle damage, hard to loose that and stagging boobs.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: So there you go, a makeover for if you know
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the right. Here's the question each person on the show.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: You have to have plastic surgery. You gonna have to
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: have plastic surgery. What's the one place you're gonna get done?
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: We will have that as soon as we come back.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Come back and listen to what the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Show thinks of themselves. As time spent listening to I
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: know you got to thank you something because you're perfect.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: So you take your time, you'll go last. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: we'll be back with the Morning Show with the crew
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: thirty three after right after you're listening to Steven Show.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: So the question on the table is what would you
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: have if you had to have plastic surgery? What would
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: you do? We're gonna start you first. Okay, what I
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: have to have I'm telling you right now, I'm going
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to get this hairline back. I'm going to get it.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: I'm going I got to get that. I'm tired of
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: everybody thinking I'm always surprised. I'm not. I'm just looking
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: at well, I'm looking at you on the zoom Junior,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: and I do like to say that your hairline and
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: your head sets. Dude, man, it's just amazing. I love
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: that about you. Dog. I'm concerning the ball. Yeah, okay, caller,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: you got to get one plastic surgery down. What is it?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, tummy, tuck. Now you'll be
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: able to talk to me, talking to you. I don't
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: have on so many crop tops. Y'all gonna be like
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: put the clothes on, never to church. I probably get
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: my thighs done. My thighs, I'm a little tired of together.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Make a noise, get them, get them tightened, a little,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: tightened a little. Yeah, I'll get my thighs done. You
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: know they got it. What tell me because I wanted
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: I'm doing. I want that on how you're doing? And
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: do they have it for Tommy? Whatever you're about to
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: say Tommy, My real answer you can skip. No, I'm
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: not can't what I got ready to say? We're so

- 1:23:48Speaker 1: limo driver. We were in New Orleans and Boomerang has
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: this thing that he traveled with that's made out of
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: wood that helps you take off cowboy boots. You put
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: your heel into it and staying on the back of
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: and then you lift your foot right out the boot.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: So Boom like this guy, Big Larry weighed about three
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: hundred and seventy pounds, but he was about five ten.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: He was big guy man, and a Boom gave him
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: a pair of cowboy boots. One time and we were
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: downstairs waiting on the limo. He was our limo driver
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: and he always on time. And we had been downstairs
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: in front of the hotel about ten minutes and we
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: came upstairs because we was looking for and we thought
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: something was wrong, so I had to go back upstairs
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and get something. So Boomerang one came with me. Boy.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: We passed by Larry's door and it was cracked and
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Larry was trying to get the cowboy boot on all.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: You're not quite sure, but he lost as we was
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: passing by his door. The door was wide open. He
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: lost his balance with that boot in one hand and
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: his big ass starting to fall, and he didn't want
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: to go down. Let me tell you what he did.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: You know how the TV be on that little turntable
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: in your on your dresser, you know where you can
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: swivel it. Yeah, he grabbed the TV to keep from
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: going down, towed the TV off the swivel head it
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: towards the drapes. You know how they had an air
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: condition to write up under the draper. He grabbed the
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: draper to stay up. He told all the damn drapes down.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Then he fell back on the corner of the mattress,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: but the mattress was on the box, so when he
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: fell on the corner of the mattress, it flipped the
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: whole damn mattress over on top of his ass. He
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: told his hotel room up. In about will seconds were
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: in the doorway. I can't breathe. You try to help him?
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Hell nah, hell na, I was HOLLI I watched this
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: fat ass te TV off a turnstyle take all the
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: drapes down. After rum fell on the corner the bed
