- 0:14Speaker 1: Come on.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will come on with everybody you
- 0:25Speaker 2: are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 0:28Speaker 2: one and only Steve Hardy got a radio show. Well, okay,
- 0:34Speaker 2: here we go. You know what's important, what's what can
- 0:40Speaker 2: be a huge part of your success is if you
- 0:44Speaker 2: if you find a balance, if you find a balance
- 0:50Speaker 2: in your life. That's that's been very important for me.
- 0:54Speaker 2: And I've really never phrased it this way until now,
- 0:57Speaker 2: but I was kind of thinking about it after my
- 1:00Speaker 2: wife and I mean we set up one night recently. Man.
- 1:04Speaker 2: You know, I often come on here and this is
- 1:06Speaker 2: kind of an inspirational moment of the show, and I
- 1:09Speaker 2: try to remind people about that most important relationship between
- 1:13Speaker 2: you and God. And that's the apex of it. That's
- 1:17Speaker 2: the that's the top of the crown. You've got to
- 1:20Speaker 2: form the relationship with God. If you don't, everything else struggles.
- 1:24Speaker 2: It's hard to be a good husband without God. It's
- 1:26Speaker 2: hard to be a good family man without God. It's
- 1:29Speaker 2: hard to be successful without God. Man, it's hard to
- 1:32Speaker 2: be hard to get through this thing called life without God.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So that's clear. But at the same time, you can't
- 1:40Speaker 2: talk about God twenty four seven. You got to go
- 1:43Speaker 2: to work. Come on, man, let's just be real. I
- 1:45Speaker 2: ain't I ain't your past, and I ain't at your church.
- 1:48Speaker 2: But let's just be real about it. You know now,
- 1:51Speaker 2: people tell you got to keep your mind stayed on
- 1:53Speaker 2: Him and all like that. That's that's the true statement.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Got to keep your mind stayed in that area. I
- 1:58Speaker 2: don't not here to tell you how to live. You
- 2:00Speaker 2: got to keep your mind stayed in that area of God,
- 2:02Speaker 2: of doing the right thing, caring about people. That's what
- 2:05Speaker 2: I took it as. Now I could be wrong. I
- 2:07Speaker 2: apologize if I'm not saying it the way you've been taught.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I can only do me now. But after that, you
- 2:13Speaker 2: got to go to work. You got to have some fun.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You got to take care of your business. And that's
- 2:20Speaker 2: the balance you have to find. So it once you
- 2:24Speaker 2: focus on showing up your relationship with God, you gotta
- 2:29Speaker 2: balance this. Now. Now, you got to allocate some time.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I don't care who you are, for your family. If
- 2:37Speaker 2: you're gonna have a family, you got to allocate some
- 2:40Speaker 2: time for them. See, we can't just marry these women
- 2:44Speaker 2: or make these kids and then neglect them. And fellas
- 2:48Speaker 2: especially if I'm talking to men out here and ladies
- 2:51Speaker 2: you can listen to. But listen. If you find yourself
- 2:54Speaker 2: struggling in your life, man, and you can't seem to
- 2:56Speaker 2: get it together, Let's just go over a couple of things.
- 2:59Speaker 2: The first two. If you find yourself struggling you can't
- 3:02Speaker 2: seem to pull it together and reach your goals and
- 3:05Speaker 2: get the where you want to go, Let's just do
- 3:08Speaker 2: a check how is your relationship with God? And then next,
- 3:14Speaker 2: how much time are you taking to allocate for your family? Now,
- 3:20Speaker 2: your family don't always live in your house, but if
- 3:23Speaker 2: you made them, they yours and the responsibility to them
- 3:28Speaker 2: is never lessen because you don't stay that no more
- 3:30Speaker 2: because you and the girl broke up, You and a
- 3:33Speaker 2: woman don't speak that. Hey, man, that don't ever release
- 3:36Speaker 2: you from the obligation. Feel me what I'm telling you
- 3:39Speaker 2: this now because I'm not telling you something I'm wondering about.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I've had to live through them years. So two things
- 3:47Speaker 2: you can start looking at. If you're not where you
- 3:49Speaker 2: want to be, and you ain't, you ain't really solent.
- 3:51Speaker 2: You can't figure out why you keep spinning your wheels.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Have you just done a random inventory. Man, have you
- 3:56Speaker 2: just checked on your relationship with God? Have you checked
- 3:59Speaker 2: on the time you spending dedicated towards your family, your
- 4:03Speaker 2: children that you created? If them two things is out
- 4:06Speaker 2: of sink man, that I can tell you right now,
- 4:09Speaker 2: you can go on and get to explaining yourself away
- 4:11Speaker 2: just like that. Hey man, how come you ain't where
- 4:14Speaker 2: you want to be?
- 4:15Speaker 3: Man?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Comes man, I really ain't. But if you really ain't,
- 4:18Speaker 2: then you really ain't. The third thing is you got
- 4:22Speaker 2: to allocate the necessary time for your business. You got
- 4:26Speaker 2: to handle your business. All of this, man, is the
- 4:32Speaker 2: way it works, and the order. The order is God first,
- 4:40Speaker 2: family second. Then you got to handle all your business.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But as me, and this is what we do. If
- 4:47Speaker 2: I don't handle my business, I can't take care of
- 4:50Speaker 2: my family, true statement. But if your business is in
- 4:54Speaker 2: front of your family, you out of order. Now that's
- 4:57Speaker 2: all were talking about now in it. See that's all
- 5:00Speaker 2: we really say in here, now, fellas you know you
- 5:02Speaker 2: know I mean, I mean, come on, man, you know,
- 5:04Speaker 2: let's have a real conversation about being better. You know,
- 5:08Speaker 2: if you have created these children, you got to handle
- 5:10Speaker 2: your business. You may not like the girl no more.
- 5:14Speaker 2: You and the woman might have broken up, y'all might
- 5:16Speaker 2: go your own way, But what that got to do
- 5:17Speaker 2: with the child though, Man, you got to handle your business.
- 5:20Speaker 2: They got to know who daddy is. That's your obligation, man,
- 5:23Speaker 2: that God ain't letting you off the hook for that.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Try it. Go ahead and try it and think you're
- 5:28Speaker 2: gonna get off the hook with that, cause you're not. Man,
- 5:31Speaker 2: You just not. I'm sorry, man, dog Steve, Why you
- 5:37Speaker 2: coming like that? Because I did it like that. I
- 5:41Speaker 2: did it, man, I was over here trying to reshape
- 5:43Speaker 2: my life, get myself up on my feet when I
- 5:45Speaker 2: was a homeless man and trying to come back. Man,
- 5:47Speaker 2: I thought I had to take care of me first
- 5:49Speaker 2: and then so I can neglect it. Cared about them kids. Man,
- 5:53Speaker 2: I ain't hid at work. Man, God keep his knee
- 5:55Speaker 2: on my neck for a long time for that one
- 5:57Speaker 2: right there, till I finally learned the lesson. Hold up, man,
- 6:02Speaker 2: put these phone calls in, Go spend some time, do something.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And then it started turning around for me. You know,
- 6:08Speaker 2: I can't be there all the time because I am
- 6:10Speaker 2: out here on the grind, in the hustle. But at
- 6:12Speaker 2: the same time, man, some more phone calls, some more, letters,
- 6:16Speaker 2: some more. How high he hes something? Then take care
- 6:21Speaker 2: of your business. Man. You got to work hard to
- 6:23Speaker 2: be successful, you know. I sometimes I don't put that
- 6:27Speaker 2: in there. I just live it, and I expect my
- 6:28Speaker 2: sons to emulate that. But I gotta talk to them
- 6:31Speaker 2: all the time. How hard you got to work to
- 6:34Speaker 2: be something? It's all out of salt on it. Man.
- 6:37Speaker 2: If you gotta target in mind, you gotta go. You
- 6:39Speaker 2: gotta wake up every day trying to get there, and
- 6:42Speaker 2: you can't get tired of it because it never ends.
- 6:48Speaker 2: You gonna always be this way. That's how life is
- 6:51Speaker 2: designed and set up. You got to be a hard worker. Man.
- 6:55Speaker 2: If you always looking for some time to chill, and man,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I wanna go do what I want to do, you
- 7:00Speaker 2: ain't gonna make it. In order to be successful, you
- 7:04Speaker 2: have to do a series of things that you're uncomfortable doing.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And work is the thing that most of us are
- 7:10Speaker 2: uncomfortable doing. It's so much easier to chill matter. I
- 7:14Speaker 2: wish I could kick back with a cigar man all
- 7:16Speaker 2: the time, but I can't, Man, I can't because I
- 7:23Speaker 2: got to work. Then the last piece of the balance
- 7:29Speaker 2: pie balance piece is you gotta take some time out
- 7:32Speaker 2: to enjoy yourself. But if you ain't where you wanna be,
- 7:36Speaker 2: you ain't got a lot of time to enjoy yourself.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Quit thinking, man, that this balance is even. It's a
- 7:44Speaker 2: whole lot of God, a whole lot of family, a
- 7:47Speaker 2: whole lot of business, and a little bit of chilling.
- 7:50Speaker 2: The chilling can't be equal to the family, the business,
- 7:54Speaker 2: all your God. If the chilling is equal to any
- 7:57Speaker 2: of them, you ain't gonna make it. Quit chilling, man,
- 8:01Speaker 2: and go to work like a man. Do what you're
- 8:04Speaker 2: supposed to do. Work on your family, work on your relationship,
- 8:07Speaker 2: work on your God, work on your businesses. And then
- 8:10Speaker 2: when you chill, you might not chill his law, but
- 8:12Speaker 2: you show gonna chill bigger. You're gonna ball bigger. Baby.
- 8:15Speaker 4: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Ladies and.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Gentlemen, boys and girls, anybody in this world listening to
- 8:28Speaker 2: a voice of a man that is free finally found
- 8:32Speaker 2: peace within. I want to thank God all my tea.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Without that peace, I don't know what I do. I'd
- 8:39Speaker 2: probably lose my mind. But the fact that I can
- 8:43Speaker 2: pray and ask God for help and he never leaves me,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and he's always on time. Now this same thing is
- 8:50Speaker 2: available for you. All you have to do is ask.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It's not too much he wants you to do. It's
- 8:56Speaker 2: really quite a simple task. He just wants you to
- 8:59Speaker 2: be grateful, show gratitude, let him know that he means
- 9:03Speaker 2: the world to you. And I can tell you after
- 9:06Speaker 2: you start doing that, ain't hardly nothing he won't do.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Because God is able, most able. Oh yes he is.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And if you don't believe what I'm saying, just try
- 9:17Speaker 2: getting down on your knees and see what it can
- 9:20Speaker 2: be for you. Lady, gentlemen, Steve Hart, Marty Show, Shirley Strapberry,
- 9:24Speaker 2: Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica Junior to come back kid. Tom
- 9:28Speaker 2: is off today again. He has some difficulties of somewhere.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I just think his mind gone, That's all. I think.
- 9:38Speaker 2: His mind is gone.
- 9:39Speaker 4: What do you mean he's just off? Work is gone?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Tommy? I ain't let you're his supervisor? Is he here?
- 9:57Speaker 4: Why? That's what I mean? His mind is gone. I
- 10:00Speaker 4: I mean, what were you saying something?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Something he said? Why he ain't here?
- 10:06Speaker 4: An't working that well?
- 10:10Speaker 3: You know?
- 10:10Speaker 5: His mind going sounds crazy?
- 10:22Speaker 4: I don't I don't know where my.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Mind at right there, but he ain't here.
- 10:26Speaker 4: He's not here, Julia said, he wasn't here. Yeah, but
- 10:30Speaker 4: you're letting him be off though.
- 10:34Speaker 2: This is me. Oh who y'all think? I am Keim Hart?
- 10:38Speaker 4: Oh what do you mean?
- 10:43Speaker 2: I'm like, I ain't got no keys in Tommy car,
- 10:47Speaker 2: Tommy grown man, Tommy want to tell this joke? Let
- 10:52Speaker 2: Tommy tail this joke? Now he not here today? What
- 10:55Speaker 2: are what I'm supposed to do?
- 10:57Speaker 4: Where is? You brought him on this show and he
- 11:01Speaker 4: should be accountable.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It was roll and if joke got told anyway, it's
- 11:09Speaker 2: my show and Tommy ain't here anyway. Yes, I am.
- 11:13Speaker 6: You have to do with anything, you know, but we
- 11:20Speaker 6: feel like you let Tommy get away with stuff we
- 11:22Speaker 6: wouldn't be because he's your nephew.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Yeah, because he's y'all know that's not fair, Steve, that's
- 11:29Speaker 4: not fair.
- 11:30Speaker 5: He's stupid, stupid, But you knew that when you hired him.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And been knowing it for twenty years. Do y'all know what?
- 11:41Speaker 2: What is? What part of it y'all ain't getting?
- 11:45Speaker 4: He told?
- 11:45Speaker 2: He tell you how stupid he is every day, and
- 11:47Speaker 2: then when you do something stupid like don't come to work.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Oh his check is then got some dates? All right?
- 11:55Speaker 4: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 11:57Speaker 4: will hear from Junior in for the nephew. Is he
- 12:00Speaker 4: that point back right after this? Juniors here?
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yes, you are.

- 12:58Speaker 4: It is time now to run that prank back and
- 13:01Speaker 4: in for the nephew today is Junior, what you got
- 13:04Speaker 4: for is junior.
- 13:05Speaker 2: The nephew.
- 13:06Speaker 8: We don't know where he's at. We can't explain it,
- 13:08Speaker 8: but he did leave with a prank called repolded pews.
- 13:11Speaker 8: But does anybody know who he at? Hold on, I
- 13:15Speaker 8: got a text. It's Tom Oh he said. He said,
- 13:21Speaker 8: what y'all doing?
- 13:25Speaker 4: We're working? What do you think doing?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Well? I'm trying to reach a pastor, Pastor Wilkins.
- 13:36Speaker 9: This is reverend doctor Wilkins.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Are you the you're the pastor of Baptis Church? Am
- 13:40Speaker 3: I right?
- 13:42Speaker 9: Mathe shirt? That's correct?
- 13:44Speaker 3: Okay. My name is Daniel, and I'm calling from a RCS,
- 13:49Speaker 3: which is a church supply, and we have an outstanding
- 13:52Speaker 3: bill here that we wanted to bring to you all's
- 13:55Speaker 3: attention for like twenty three thousand dollars for your pews
- 13:59Speaker 3: that has not been paid. So we wanted to see.
- 14:04Speaker 9: Not to cut you off.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Daniel, RCS, Yeah, church supply, sir. That's this
- 14:11Speaker 3: is exactly what you guys got your pews.
- 14:14Speaker 9: Okay, our standing bill for twenty three times Well, first
- 14:18Speaker 9: of all, that's normally all our standing bills are handled
- 14:22Speaker 9: by our finance department. You know you wouldn't to speak
- 14:25Speaker 9: to our treasurer and they will be able to help
- 14:27Speaker 9: you with that.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Evidently, sir, that this hasn't been taken care of in
- 14:30Speaker 3: this matter when it comes to these pews, because like
- 14:33Speaker 3: I stayed it before, you guys owed twenty three thousand
- 14:35Speaker 3: dollars on these pus and I think this was probably
- 14:38Speaker 3: twelve to thirteen years ago, so maybe this was something
- 14:41Speaker 3: before you got there. But nevertheless, they're still an our
- 14:44Speaker 3: standing billing. Right now, we're actually going to be repossessing
- 14:48Speaker 3: these pews as of early seven o'clock Sunday morning.
- 14:53Speaker 9: Not far this Sunday morning. No, we have the Women
- 14:56Speaker 9: Days Missionary is here today and also that we.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Have like our well then you have a lot of
- 15:04Speaker 3: things and you actually run it off your schedule. To me,
- 15:07Speaker 3: that's that's really not my concern. And maybe you're Women's
- 15:10Speaker 3: Day or whatever is gonna y'all gonna do a standing
- 15:12Speaker 3: up because.
- 15:13Speaker 9: Right now we're not going to do you're not understanding me.
- 15:16Speaker 3: See did you.
- 15:17Speaker 9: Say twelve or thirteen years ago? Sure, well, I've been
- 15:20Speaker 9: the past here for ten years and you know, you know.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Like that occurred or you got there, But nevertheless, the
- 15:28Speaker 3: bill is still outstanding, and these cues need to be
- 15:31Speaker 3: taken care of. Now, if y'all don't have the twenty
- 15:33Speaker 3: three thousand dollars, then I got to come pick these
- 15:36Speaker 3: pews up Sunday morning. Sir, we're gonna I don't go
- 15:39Speaker 3: over there. You're not hearing me.
- 15:40Speaker 9: And first of all, this is my private number. How
- 15:42Speaker 9: did you get this number?
- 15:44Speaker 3: Your your numbers here in the books as a contact?
- 15:47Speaker 9: No, this is this is I only get us out
- 15:49Speaker 9: to very few people, and I know none of them
- 15:51Speaker 9: will will give our numbers. So that's definition right there.
- 15:54Speaker 9: And second of all, if you're talking about coming in
- 15:56Speaker 9: our church Sunday morning to take our pews, uh, that's
- 16:00Speaker 9: not something you really want to do, sir.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I have to do my job the same way you
- 16:04Speaker 3: get up on Sunday morning and you have to do yours.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I have to do mine. So my job is to
- 16:09Speaker 3: get these pews back because you guys are twenty three
- 16:11Speaker 3: thousand dollars in.
- 16:12Speaker 9: The riars, no tiling. And tell you I ain't always
- 16:15Speaker 9: been being a preacher. Now you come to my church
- 16:18Speaker 9: and you touch them pees, I'm gonna come out that
- 16:20Speaker 9: proof fit, don't you.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I'm not here to go to what you used to
- 16:25Speaker 3: be and what you are. Now I'm nothing to go
- 16:27Speaker 3: back and forth with you on that. The bottom line.
- 16:30Speaker 9: Consequence you don't want to deal with sign because you
- 16:32Speaker 9: know I, oh, hold on, hold on, hold on, let
- 16:36Speaker 9: me let me calm down, because you know you might
- 16:38Speaker 9: have to make me take some words that I've been
- 16:39Speaker 9: delivered from. Thank God, I'm going.
- 16:42Speaker 3: To deliver them pews away from you on Sunday.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Now.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I got to come and pick them pews up. That's
- 16:48Speaker 3: the bottom line. Do you have twenty three thousand Sunday morning?
- 16:52Speaker 9: Twenty three thousands? I understand that's not the issue. The
- 16:54Speaker 9: issue is you have no business calling me on my
- 16:57Speaker 9: personal phone. I'm in my metigration time right now. I'm
- 17:00Speaker 9: trying to get consecrated. So you know my message that
- 17:02Speaker 9: after the ever lady, this afternoon. So we need all
- 17:05Speaker 9: of our tumors.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Okay, Well let me ask you something, sir. Do you
- 17:09Speaker 3: have the twenty three thousand dollars that you can give
- 17:11Speaker 3: me Sunday morning and then you can continue whatever it
- 17:14Speaker 3: is you have going on that day Other than that,
- 17:17Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to take them pills.
- 17:19Speaker 9: I got to prod me between two dollars. If you're
- 17:21Speaker 9: not listening, Signed that ain't my meal. I ain't paying it.
- 17:24Speaker 9: You ain't touching my cues.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I'm not gonna continue to go. Okay, listen, I'm trying
- 17:30Speaker 3: to respect what's Pastor willis trying to respect you.
- 17:34Speaker 9: First, Reverend doctor Wilkins, I'd appreciate it if you call
- 17:38Speaker 9: me in my name, Reverend doctor Wilkins.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Okay, Reverend Dr Wilkins. Now, first of all, I'm coming
- 17:45Speaker 3: up there Sunday. Now, I'm hoping I only have to
- 17:47Speaker 3: lay hands on these pews. Now I gotta lay hands
- 17:50Speaker 3: on something else. Then I got to do what I
- 17:52Speaker 3: got to do. It out.
- 17:54Speaker 9: You can come on up here and you say it
- 17:56Speaker 9: on the property. That's cool, but you touch them pews.
- 17:59Speaker 9: I got some lawyers and yeah, they can take that

- 29:09Speaker 4: William Bumpus from nineteen eighty two to nineteen ninety three.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Gail said when she returned home from a trip early,
- 29:17Speaker 4: her husband told her she could not enter their bedroom.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Then uh huh. Then Gail found her husband wearing a
- 29:28Speaker 4: towel her friend wearing a towel. Gail told Oprah, and
- 29:32Speaker 4: she told her to tell the woman's husband. Oprah told
- 29:35Speaker 4: Gail to tell the woman's husband. When Gail did tell
- 29:37Speaker 4: the woman's husband, he told her basically quote, oh yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 4: my wife told me you'd be calling. She said that
- 29:44Speaker 4: you came home early, unexpected, and you drew the wrong
- 29:47Speaker 4: conclusion and said that they were having an affair. The
- 29:50Speaker 4: husband also called Gail delusional. Oprah told Gail that she
- 29:54Speaker 4: had been basically played and offered to relocate her and
- 29:57Speaker 4: her kids to Chicago. Go well, yeah, so what do
- 30:05Speaker 4: you think?

- 30:22Speaker 2: You want to get that out your system, it's fine,
- 30:24Speaker 2: but I didn't. It didn't bother me, okay.
- 30:27Speaker 4: But she also addressed the rumors about her and Gail
- 30:29Speaker 4: being gay.
- 30:30Speaker 10: She addressed those two. Yeah, I didn't hear that out. Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 10: and again again.

- 30:42Speaker 4: Well, Gail said that they would tell if they were gay.
- 30:46Speaker 4: They would tell people because there's nothing wrong with it.
- 30:48Speaker 4: So she had a simple explanation for that simple answer,
- 30:52Speaker 4: so meaning that they're not, And again, once again, what
- 30:56Speaker 4: was your response. Well, you know your best friend was
- 31:01Speaker 4: a billionaire whatever you want to call.

- 31:16Speaker 4: Though that will be gay.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I have a cold fishing boat, I tell you that.
- 31:25Speaker 7: Yeah, But I mean it was probably painful for her
- 31:27Speaker 7: to look back on that, you know, when her husband
- 31:29Speaker 7: cheated with her friend.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Come on, and.
- 31:34Speaker 2: She didn't sound painful. She was telling it rather matter
- 31:38Speaker 2: of fact.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Okay, all right, that's why you It didn't bother you,
- 31:43Speaker 4: but it bothered me.
- 31:44Speaker 2: She wasn't crying, didn't didn't show no emotion.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I think as women, you know, just to think about
- 31:49Speaker 4: something like that happening. Yeah, yeah, it's it stings. That stings. Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 4: it hurts. It does, absolutely do it in the house.
- 31:59Speaker 2: And now that to me, I can't ever understand.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Yeah, wow, if.
- 32:10Speaker 2: You're a man or woman, why would you have somebody
- 32:12Speaker 2: come to your health. I've been watching these people get
- 32:14Speaker 2: busted on tender and the man come home from fishing.
- 32:18Speaker 2: And she didne have a tender day. She got two kids.
- 32:22Speaker 2: She got two kids.

- 34:17Speaker 4: entertainment news. According to the Detroit Free Press, George Clinton
- 34:21Speaker 4: has filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group, accusing them
- 34:25Speaker 4: for improperly withholding more than one point one million dollars
- 34:29Speaker 4: in royalties. George claims that he is owed royalties from
- 34:33Speaker 4: nineteen sixty nine to nineteen ninety under Parliament and Funkadelic.
- 34:37Speaker 4: The royalty freeze has caused Clinton's quote severe financial harm.
- 34:41Speaker 4: He alleges in the twenty page complaint. He's seeking unpaid royalties,
- 34:45Speaker 4: as well as damages, interest, and a court ordered accounting
- 34:49Speaker 4: of activity tied to his accounts with UMG. So here's
- 34:53Speaker 4: a question, and Steve, I think we know this. What's
- 34:56Speaker 4: your favorite George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic song is? Will he
- 35:01Speaker 4: get to it? I think we know it. I think

- 36:28Speaker 4: Well according to USA Today, President Donald Trump told his
- 36:32Speaker 4: cabinet on yesterday that Wednesday, that Iran misled his resolve,
- 36:37Speaker 4: saying he does not care about the twenty twenty six
- 36:40Speaker 4: mid term elections and warning he will finish the job
- 36:43Speaker 4: militarily if a deal is not reached. He highlighted citing
- 36:48Speaker 4: failing gas prices and the limited US casualties in the
- 36:52Speaker 4: Iran war, and described ongoing negotiations to reopen the Strait
- 36:57Speaker 4: of Her Moves. During remarks at the cabinet meeting, Secretary
- 37:00Speaker 4: of State Marco Rubio said the President prefers to make
- 37:04Speaker 4: an agreement with Iran, but he has other options available
- 37:08Speaker 4: to him if the mediated talks collapse. The ongoing war
- 37:12Speaker 4: and closure at the Strait of Her Moves has elevated
- 37:15Speaker 4: gas prices in the United States. We're all feeling the
- 37:17Speaker 4: brunt of that. Yesterday, the national average stood at four
- 37:21Speaker 4: dollars and forty four cents a gallon. The President said
- 37:24Speaker 4: he is not worried about the mid terms, basically because
- 37:27Speaker 4: he was pleased with his past Tuesday's Republican primary results
- 37:32Speaker 4: in Texas and other states, and they are a prelude
- 37:35Speaker 4: to the midterms. So that's why he says he's not worried.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Well, oh, he's very worried. That's what this redistrict king
- 37:42Speaker 2: is about. That's what this reversal of the voters Rights
- 37:45Speaker 2: actors about. He is very worried because if we get
- 37:49Speaker 2: out and show up and change these things into mid terms.
- 37:53Speaker 2: He now has a problem because all this racist stuff
- 37:59Speaker 2: he's getting away with pas asking it through the House
- 38:01Speaker 2: and the Senate and all these bills he's running. All
- 38:04Speaker 2: that can get slowed down with checking balance.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Yep, all we have to do is get out and vote.
- 38:09Speaker 4: We have to vote. We have to have to vote,
- 38:12Speaker 4: we have to register. Y'all know the drill.
- 38:15Speaker 6: We have been telling y'all this year after year after year.
- 38:19Speaker 6: And you cannot sit out any election.
- 38:23Speaker 7: Anyment terms, not neural races, not the presidential rate, none
- 38:27Speaker 7: of them.
- 38:27Speaker 6: You're right, primaries and nothing, nothing because especially especially the primaries,
- 38:35Speaker 6: because you are voting for the person that you want
- 38:37Speaker 6: to represent you on the.
- 38:39Speaker 4: Ballot in November.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 4: So this is not a drill, y'all. You used to
- 38:45Speaker 4: say life. When we live in a democracy, it's we
- 38:49Speaker 4: have to vote. I mean, that's part of being a
- 38:51Speaker 4: US citizen, your right to vote. So exercise it. Use it.
- 38:56Speaker 4: It means something. It matters for sure, y'all.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Listen to me. Not voting is giving the power to
- 39:05Speaker 2: someone else. Yeah, you're just handing over the keys to
- 39:10Speaker 2: the car. He has no black cabinet members. You've got
- 39:15Speaker 2: seen that in a long time.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to care. You don't vote because you
- 39:19Speaker 4: don't care. You got to care, all right?
- 39:22Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:23Speaker 4: Yeah, coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour,

- 40:45Speaker 4: You're just guarded. You you know, your partner can't see
- 40:48Speaker 4: your phone, you can have your passwords, none of that. Yeah,
- 40:54Speaker 4: so that's amazing. You agree, you agree with that?
- 40:56Speaker 2: Oh hell yeah, that's why you have to get a burner.
- 41:03Speaker 4: He sounded just like your nephew. Right then, I'm sorry,
- 41:06Speaker 4: but you did because you know. All right, So another

- 42:17Speaker 2: your man because he seems just interested or.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Or he's distracted.
- 42:21Speaker 8: All right, First of all, I don't want to be
- 42:23Speaker 8: at this basketball game. Your son can't play that will anyway?
- 42:25Speaker 2: I'm not. I'm through cheering.
- 42:28Speaker 4: What's that to do with cheating? Don't come on, Divonte?

- 42:35Speaker 4: for me? Wow?
- 42:38Speaker 2: Now see, I just I just don't you know. Look,
- 42:41Speaker 2: after you've been married for a while, your husband don't

- 42:59Speaker 4: What are you you want to talk about? I don't
- 43:04Speaker 4: want to talk about that. She didn't know? So what

- 44:00Speaker 8: fell out. She kissed him and she put the blanket on.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I can believe.
- 44:03Speaker 4: It's just crazy story. I've never heard that. It's bad story.

- 54:53Speaker 8: Jim's tip of to Strawberry Little my good friend, Shirley Strawberry.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Thank you, my good friend, junior subject. She is so
- 55:01Speaker 4: foul for that. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm a forty seven
- 55:04Speaker 4: year old married man and I have been married for
- 55:07Speaker 4: seventeen years. Everything was fine with my marriage for the
- 55:11Speaker 4: last for the first fourteen years, and then my wife
- 55:14Speaker 4: cheated on me. I wanted to leave her, but we
- 55:17Speaker 4: have two sons and I didn't want to miss one
- 55:20Speaker 4: minute of them growing up. It took me a full
- 55:22Speaker 4: year to have sex with my wife after she cheated,
- 55:26Speaker 4: and it will never be the same. My family found
- 55:29Speaker 4: out and they hate my wife. But she still shows
- 55:33Speaker 4: up at family outings and she said she's praying that
- 55:36Speaker 4: they will all forgive her like I did. I am
- 55:39Speaker 4: sure that will never happen after what she did. Last weekend,
- 55:43Speaker 4: my wife and I went to dinner with my mom, dad,
- 55:46Speaker 4: and my sister and her husband. My wife and my
- 55:49Speaker 4: sister got into a big argument over my wife playing
- 55:52Speaker 4: a game on her phone during dinner. I'm used to
- 55:56Speaker 4: my wife playing games, texting, and scrolling on social media
- 55:59Speaker 4: all of the time, so it was no big deal
- 56:01Speaker 4: to me. My wife and my sister went back and forth,
- 56:05Speaker 4: insulting each other. Then my wife bragged about cheating on me.
- 56:09Speaker 4: She started with quote, that's why I cheated on your brother.
- 56:14Speaker 4: She called me hindpacked and said I was below average
- 56:17Speaker 4: size down there. I snatched her arm and she fell
- 56:20Speaker 4: out of the chair and hit the floor, causing a
- 56:23Speaker 4: big scene at the restaurant. I didn't pull her that
- 56:27Speaker 4: hard and she didn't have to overreact like that. Now
- 56:30Speaker 4: she's saying she should press charges against me. She's also
- 56:34Speaker 4: said that she said those nasty things about me out
- 56:39Speaker 4: of anger and she didn't mean any of it. She
- 56:41Speaker 4: is so foul for how she embarrassed me. Now that
- 56:44Speaker 4: I know how she really is, is it finally time
- 56:48Speaker 4: to divorce her?
- 56:50Speaker 9: Yes?
- 56:50Speaker 4: I mean what are you waiting on this one?
- 56:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:54Speaker 4: This woman has no respect for you at all none.
- 56:59Speaker 4: You obviously still love her, though, because you forgave her
- 57:02Speaker 4: and took her back. You do know that's rare, right,
- 57:06Speaker 4: because men are very territorial and usually they don't take
- 57:10Speaker 4: their wives back after they cheat. You said it took
- 57:12Speaker 4: you over a year to have sex with her again.
- 57:15Speaker 4: You also said you didn't want to divorce her because
- 57:17Speaker 4: of your two sons. In other words, you tried to
- 57:20Speaker 4: save your marriage. And there's nothing wrong with that. But
- 57:24Speaker 4: your wife let it be known in front of your
- 57:26Speaker 4: family and the whole restaurant that she doesn't give a
- 57:29Speaker 4: darn about you. She didn't have she didn't have to
- 57:34Speaker 4: do all of that she really didn't. She was wrong
- 57:37Speaker 4: for saying all the things she said. They're hurtful. She
- 57:39Speaker 4: can't take them back, and I don't know what else
- 57:42Speaker 4: she has to do for you to see that she's
- 57:44Speaker 4: evil and it's over.
- 57:45Speaker 2: She went too far, Steve, I can't believe this letter,
- 57:51Speaker 2: you know, I mean, it was going okay in the beginning.
- 57:54Speaker 2: You know, she is so foul for that. For that,
- 57:57Speaker 2: she's been filed a whole letter though. See what he's
- 58:00Speaker 2: writing a letter about. She's fouled for that. For what
- 58:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna read at the end of the letter. But Doug,
- 58:07Speaker 2: you're married to a foul person. I'm forty seven married,
- 58:12Speaker 2: been married seventeen years. Everything was fine for the marriage
- 58:15Speaker 2: for first fourteen years, and then my wife cheated on me.
- 58:19Speaker 2: I believe that's when you first found out. That's really
- 58:24Speaker 2: what I think. I wanted to leave her, but we
- 58:26Speaker 2: got two sons, and I don't want to miss a
- 58:28Speaker 2: minute of them growing up. Okay, I understand that, but
- 58:33Speaker 2: me and her we threw Now I'm not gonna miss
- 58:35Speaker 2: a minute. I'm gonna get you. I'm gonna get placed
- 58:37Speaker 2: across the street this summer, and I'm gonna get visitation.
- 58:40Speaker 2: I ain't gonna the sons come across that we're gonna
- 58:42Speaker 2: do something to that. It took me a full year
- 58:45Speaker 2: to have sex with it after she cheated, and it'll
- 58:48Speaker 2: never be the same. Here's a story. It gets interested.
- 58:51Speaker 2: My family found out and they hate no wife. I
- 58:53Speaker 2: don't know how she found out, but I think you
- 58:56Speaker 2: told her. That's what I think. But she still shows
- 59:02Speaker 2: up at family outings and she said she's praying that
- 59:05Speaker 2: they will all forgive her like I did. I'm sure
- 59:09Speaker 2: that will never happen after what she did last weekend.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Now this way to let her get real crazy. Him
- 59:16Speaker 2: and his wife went to dinner with his mom and
- 59:18Speaker 2: dad and his sister and her husband, so it's three
- 59:21Speaker 2: couples at the table. My wife and my sister got
- 59:24Speaker 2: into an argument because she would play in some video
- 59:27Speaker 2: games on her phone. He say he used to her
- 59:30Speaker 2: wife playing games and texting and scrolling on social media
- 59:32Speaker 2: all the time, so it wasn't no big deal to me. Well,
- 59:36Speaker 2: the wife and the sister went back and forth, insulting
- 59:39Speaker 2: each other. Then my wife bragged about cheating on me.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Now where that come from? And then she said she
- 59:54Speaker 2: started with that's why I cheated on your brother? What
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: she called me? Heinpacked, hend packed and said I was
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: below average size down there, oh Seattle, see that one
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: right there. She's trying to cut me deep now.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: So now.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I got to stand up at the table some wait
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: what I don't know what I'm finna do, but we're
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: gonna some somebody were finished. Shut this one down right now.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: You might say, I'm here in picked and you might
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: have chieved on me. You might have done all that.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I might be a little scary, little timidy, but what
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: I ain't gonna be be little though you're going to
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: do not finn to be talking about my side. I'm
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: not finna be no big.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: Now we'll hold up.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: You know, you gotta upgrade me. I'll be a monk
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: blanc or something. That's not what I'm finna be. I
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: want to be monk blank. I finished what is right?
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: Shut it down for now, please and not say truth
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: pick say it will have well have part two of
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: your response maybe if you don't stop at twenty three
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letters subject she is
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: so foul for that. We'll get back into it right

- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Forty seven year old dude been married for seventeen years.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Say everything was going for the first fourteen years and
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: then she cheated on me. He didn't want her to
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: go because they got two sons. He didn't want to
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: mess up the family. He didn't want to miss no
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: time with the sons, so he forgave her. But it
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: took him a year to have sex with her, and
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: it wasn't the same. And she but she still go
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: to family outings and cookouts and everything. And my family
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: hates her because they found out about her cheating because
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: you took your little simple over there and told them,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: because you can't keep your mouth shuit, your little handpicked.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Now I found out he was hand packed because she
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: said this a little bit later in the letter, cause
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: they all went to dinner and said, she said, to
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: hope your family can't forgive me. He said, I know you.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: My family ain't going to give her, especially after what
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: she did last week. Because me and my mom and
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: daddy and my sister and her husband and her went
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: out the dinner had three couples, and she was on
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: her phone scrolling playing games the whole time, and her
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: and my sister got into an argument, and the argument
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: going thing and went back and forth and they started
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: insulting each other, and then out of nowhere, she said,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: now that's why I cheated on Herbert Wow. And then
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: they all looked at her like what that's why I
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: cheated on Herberts. And then just sitting up here and
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: she started with she called me hand peck, which I
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: know you are because you went over there and told
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: your family. And then she said that I was below
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: average size down there. You didn't have to say down there,
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: we know what you were talking about. Your Yeah, because
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: she pulled her drinking straw out of her drink and
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: was pointing at you with it. Oh, she was insultant him.

- 1:04:22Speaker 2: shaker on the table, y'all, y'all, y'all probably was at
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: cracker barrel. She picked up that little board, the little
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: peg game, and threw the peg at you there years
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: right there.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: It's ugly with it.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Huh Oh, it got ugly, It got ugly. Lead you know,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: you know, flipped him off, not the bird, but with
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: her baby finger, just did shaking her baby finger all
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: in talking about his size and everything. Here, gonna tell
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: me just a little big pin. And that's the one
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: that pitched me off when she said I was big
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: side big. I'm not finna be no big. You're gonna
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: call me a pin. I'm at least make me a
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: mat blog on the big boys on putting her. But
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: I'm not finnsha be no big, it's not what you
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: call what should he do? But then she really dug
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: deep into him and said you ain't even a big
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: You a refiel And I went, oh, that really hurt him.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Then when you saw the hendpeck come out of him,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: then what he was, he was a reading. She called
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: him a refiel that.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Would get back.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: It's really no coming back from this dog. Really, I
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: think it's over, just based on that comment right there.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: I mean, how do you come back for that? She
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: had so many things, you know, yeah, just finished a
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: chicken leg and held a little leg and said, day,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: he is right there, you know, just too much stuff
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: at that table.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: You know, she is foul.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Then reached over on your sister. Play. Your sister was even.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: She grabbed the French fright here, go right here him.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: She was just doing you at that table. You sitting
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: up there out, don't say no more like that. I'm
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: I'm hearing picked, I'm hurting. And so anyway, then you
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: snatched her arm and she fell out her chall it's
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: too much. Oh now you're snatching them. And then she
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: said causing her a big scene because she hit the floor.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I ain't pull her that hard. Nah, you wanna beat
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: the rough and tumble. She said she should press charges
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: against me. She also shard said she said those nasty
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: things about me out of anger, and she didn't mean
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: not any of them. We arguing about you being on
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: mentor and all of a sudden your size come into this.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: She meant it every word.

- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Mm?

- 1:09:22Speaker 8: First of all, June sixth is coming. Listen, sureley is
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: the cures On five K running from Walk Heavy at
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: the Market Hunt Hill Bridge on June sixth in Dallas, Texas.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Man's the eighth annual.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Thank y'all so much for all the support. Man.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: The race is going good.
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: But it's my favorite line because people have been called
- 1:09:38Speaker 8: me because you said that they're gonna part the ambalane
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: sideway in the middle.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Side, the middle of the bridge, so they go either
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: way right on that right. They ain't even got anybody.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Ain't got to make no U turn on the bridge.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: None, no, thanks gus.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: And remember now remember this whole this whole run, y'all
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: is on the bridge.
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: Yeah five K.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Yeah, once you get it up bottom of that bridge,
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: do not run behind that building or go around that
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: corner where we can't see you, because that's been one
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: of the great things about this run. In the how
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: long you've been doing it, Junior eight years? He has
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: not lost anybody. So and that's because we keep everybody
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: on this bridge. Now, be a little crowded sometime because
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: if you're going back and forth and you know, sometimes
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: they stumble off into the other lane and end up
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: going back the other way twice and all this here,
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: but no, and know your strips. This is a five
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: k run. But we were done, broke it down. You
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: could do you could do a five K, You could
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: do a two K or one K. Could you could
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: do one A, you could be a two B. You
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: don't even have to get up to k. You can
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: you can run get to it.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: You ain't even gotta run up.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: You ain't got to get to a K. You can
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: do a five G.
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: Three miles, but everybody, everybody can't do that. Do what
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: you can do?
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Do like do a five m that's five minutes.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: The people how they can sign up for your race
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: plus or.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Don't even do a kilometers. That's that's Columbia.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: Here's hope, e R. You can do yards. Just go
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: run a hundred see say against please.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: E R s Hope dot org. I can't wait to
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: see you and we have extra sweaters on the bridge,
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: so everybody, we're gonna be hot. And I know we
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: can't make sure you hot. What you can't do is
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: get cold. So we're gonna have sweaters and windbreakers on
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: the bridge. The wind blow. We don't want nobody to
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: get cool. Speaking after they get hot and they cool off,
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: that's dangerous.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: on social media needs some advice about his girl. He said,
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: she's going to come to her senses. We'll talk about
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: Morning Show. This is from Paul and Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: Paul says, my ex girlfriend and I were together since
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: high school and dated for almost eight years before she
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: broke up with me about six months ago. She's been
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: dealing with a ton of family drama and stress the
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: last couple of years, and honestly, I think that's the
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: main reason she ended things. I told her when we
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: split that no matter what happened, I'd always be there
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: for her, and I've stayed true to that. I still
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: help her out when she needs something, listen to her
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: vent and show up for her as a friend. I
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: haven't really moved on because deep down, I feel like
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: once things calm down in her life, she's going to
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: realize that breaking up with me was a mistake. Some
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: of my friends think I'm wasting my time and acting pathetic,
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: but I don't see how you just walk away from
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: someone you spend basically your entire adult life with. Am
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: I wrong for sticking around and wanting her to come
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: back to her senses? That's what Paul wants to know.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: Yes you think, yes, Yeah, you don't think she's going
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: to come back around.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: She don't want you, and she got drama going on.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: This drama ain't finish clip and you being there and
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: helping out and all this here man gone somewhere to
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: find somebody that won't you?
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: Oh okay, so stop waiting around for her.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Well, our family drama is not going nowhere. Yeah, you
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: can love her, love somebody else.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: Okay, so he's almost for love.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: You can love somebody else. I'm bron move on, Go
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: get you somebody that won't you. Then they ain't got
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: all that going on in their life. It's hard enough
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: to be in a relationship. You can't fix her relationship
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: and everybody, Now look when when stuff happens in my
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: girl's life.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: I help them.
- 1:14:02Speaker 10: I got that, but it's not and broke up with you. Yeah, no,
- 1:14:07Speaker 10: it's not, Finn be no constant drumk Okay, all right,
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: so you heard it from Steve Paul.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: If we're not sleeping together, this is over.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: All right what I'm helping you fall? All right, we
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: get it, Steve. We're moving on now. We have time
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: for another one. This is from Jaquila and Steve Harvey FM. J.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: Kaula says, I know I'm not perfect, but I do
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: think I'm a good wife and mother. I work hard,
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: take care of our home and kids, and try to
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: be a good wife to my husband of ten years.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Even so, I constantly feel like he's disappointed in me
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: over the things I forget or don't get quite right.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: I know he loves me, but he makes me feel
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: incompetent sometimes even if he doesn't me. Honestly, I think
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: a lot of it probably has more to do with
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: his own anxiety and stress than anything I'm actually doing wrong,
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: But knowing that doesn't make it hurt any less. I
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: feel like if I could let his quiet criticism go
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: a little and he could be a little less critical,
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: we'd both be happier. How do we get there?
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Why don't you sit down and talk to him about this?
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: All this constant criticism, this constant reminding you of what
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: you don't do, because what he may need to do
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: is make the list of what you do do. See
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: sometimes in your running your mouth by what somebody don't do,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: you forget what they do.
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: Do.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Stop things like that.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: And here's the deal. If you stop that and let
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: him miss it. See okay, I got okay, I forgot that. Well,
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: you must be doing a lot for you to start
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: forgetting some things. Yes, just doing the things that you've done,
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: and then watch how he feel. But you you should
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: have this conversation about it. I just feel you being
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: overly critical and it bothers me. Now what's really wrong?
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: And it will be just like you thought, something.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Is wrong with him? Yeah, he ain't frying the bacon.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Like he used to either, is it?
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: So?
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Now he want to make it about you.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: Flipping it on her?
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: What you say, Shirley flipping it on her? Okay? And
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: when the last time you flip me seek? Yeah, and
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: that's how you bring it up. I don't like the
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: way you flipping this on me when in actuality, you
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: ain't flipping me at all.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: All right, Okay, thank you. We saw that issue, didn't we.
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: All right? Coming up more of the Steve Harby Morning
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: Morning Show. With the high cost of groceries today, it's
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: easy to forget how things used to be so cheap.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: You know, how cheap things used to be. But a
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: post on x is revealing the shocking difference twenty years
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: makes in prices. A woman recently shared a two thousand
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: and six receipt from Walmart that she found while going
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: through her mom's old stuff, and it shows seventy nine
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: items were purchased for just one hundred and sixty one
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: dollars and eighty seven cents. Seventy nine items okay today?
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: Nine items for how much?
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: One hundred and sixty one dollars and eighty seven cents
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: Seventy nine items. Seventy nine items. That's back twenty years ago,
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: in two thousand and six, okay today, that same shopping
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: list could end up costing well over four hundred dollars,
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: depending on sales and brand choices. The post has gone
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: viral with more than twelve million views. So here's the question.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: Which food items have become so expensive you are not
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: adding them to your card anymore? And we know you
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: don't go to university, Steve, but yeah, steak, Look at that,
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: said steak. She's not buying it, maybe not as frequently. Yeah,
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: yeah as she used to.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well, junior, you you got steak money. So I
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: No, not right now.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: I don't not have haircut. We'd have a right there
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: haircut that you.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: Keep coming out of that whatever, we'll play around it.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Would you rather right after the you're listening to the
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Would you rather sit courtside next to Spike Lee or
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: President Obama? Obama courtside next to Spike Lee? Or would

- 1:20:09Speaker 2: You know I'm both. I'm more friendly with Spike.

- 1:20:37Speaker 2: the back, won't talk to you. What was that about?
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: White questions, White questions, all right? Would you rather flip?
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: Would you rather wear flip flops or sneakers? The entire
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: summer which ones flip flops are sneakers the entire summer.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: Hell no, I'm gonna be fishing. I gotta put your
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: sneakers on. I can't win on nakers. I walk in
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: the woods and stuff, I can't.
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, your feet out, Okay, all right.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: So that's almost as somebody dumb. That's almost as dumb
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: as somebody coming to the ranch wearing all white.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: I wonder who did that. We're white in the summer.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Somebody with sparkles on.
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: Now I know, okay, now I know, Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: did that.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: That was me?
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: So, speaking of fishing, Steve, would you rather go fishing
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: with Junior or would you rather go fishing with Tommy?
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Which one I thought to be easy? No, you know
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Tommy know how to fish? You don't.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: Well, first of all, Junior know how to come to
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: work too.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but that ain't a question.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: But he thought he'd get it in there though. I'm
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: not mad.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: That ain't gonna do me. Okay, okay, do something for me.
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: Can you can you teach me to fish?
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: Can it be fish?
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: Know the thing in the water and get the fish?
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: I mean, how about them in hats?
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: I come down there, I help with the kids at
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: your ranch every year. Now, all of a sudden, the
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: kids you teach you to fish every time I come out,
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: I can't get.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: To even are you for stand with the kids?

- 1:23:52Speaker 4: every day. We appreciate you so much. Steve Harvey Nation,
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: thank you, Junior. You got a question for Steve before
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: we go?
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: Yeah, you know, would you say you are a friend's friend, like,
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: no matter what happens, you're gonna be there.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: Form Oh yeah, Yeah, I'm a man's man. That's a
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: better way to describe me.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: I know the.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: Principles of manhood and I honor them all. I have
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: never stabbed a man in his back. I have never
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: used a man to get to where I am. I've
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: never stepped on anybody to get here or stepped over
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: anybody to get here. And I stand on that. And
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: anybody that tells stories that I have I've had. I've
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: heard a couple of stories on the Internet that I have.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: I promise you they can't say that to my face
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: because they ain't gonna have no receipts for that, none,
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: not a one. Because I've been that man. I've honored
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: my commitment to friendship. You know, there's an amazing organization
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: and when it comes down to it is boiled down
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: to this one sentence that friend is essential to the soul.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: You can live without your brother, you can live without
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: your father, You gonna miss your mama one day. You
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: can live without your cousins, you can live without your
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: coworkers and all of that. You can live without some
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: church members. But you know what, you can't live without
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: in this world. You can't live in this world without
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: a friend is just not doable. Everybody needs somebody that
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: they can just sit around and they know that they're
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: sitting around with them because they with them, that they
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: can count on them. You ain't got to be right
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: and they don't judge you. I like that to sit
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: around somebody that don't judge and sit around as somebody
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: that don't. Man, you was wrong for that, I know that.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: But man, this what's happening right now. I'm with your dog.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: You gotta have that. Friendship is essential to the soul.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: That's one of the greatest mantras ever created. When you
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: think about it. If you had to have an organization,
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: this organization had to be built on something. Friendship is
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: strong man friendship is strong, and so yeah, man' I'm
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: that one. I'm that one right there, I'm that one.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: I have a group of guys that I've been friends
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: with since college. I got a few friends that I've
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: been friends with since I came to Cleveland, that I've
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: been friends with for sixty five years. And not one
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: of them, not Manny, not Butcher, not Amp, not really,
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: not all or not Rico, not Neither one of them
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: has a story of how I ever betrayed them, not
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: not want to ask them because they still living asked them.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: Has Steve Harvey ever betrayed them, backstab them, now lied
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: on them? But as he was there was they was
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: gonna get the whooping, and I was gonna get the whooping.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: Well you gotta take this whooping, dog, because I'm finna
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: lie to your mama. He hit me first, but they
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: lied on me too. But I'm talking about man when
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: it comes to crunch time down there and even in
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: this business, man or I've heard some cats tell some
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: lies about me, but they ain't never said it till
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: my face. Steve Harvey did this and left me off
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: this and another man, there's one dude that stay on
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: the podcast talking about what I didn't do for him,
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: that he thought I owed him something. But he don't
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: say that to my face, nobody, man, Because I've honored
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: the cold of manhood that I know what friendship is.
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: I got a group of men that I tell you
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: some stories about me you wouldn't even believe, man, about
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: how loyal of a friend I been. And that's just
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: me taking a moment to say that's who I am.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: But guess what, I know a lot of men like that.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: I know a lot of men like that. I got
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: some partners, man that ain't ever crossed me. They ain't
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: ever stabbed me in my back. When the internet come
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: for me, they call me, make sure I'm good. Hey man,
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: when I'm under attack, say hey man, we with you.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: What you need us to do? You need us ride
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: down there, You need to come sit with you, hey man,
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: you want us come to the crib, hang out with you.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: Them type of cats I know, and I know a
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: bunch of them like that. So the one thing I know, man,
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: is how to be honorable. That I know I know
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: how to do that. I'm proud of that that I
