- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time to y'all don't know y'all bag
- 0:09Speaker 1: all sung looking back to back down, giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: theming buck bus things and it's cubs, y'all true good
- 0:20Speaker 1: to the hut. Yeah, listen to me together for stoo
- 0:27Speaker 1: barn to listen. Honey, why don't you join? Yeah, well,
- 0:43Speaker 1: hobby joining me? Honey said you got you turn yet
- 1:15Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn at the time, by got
- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back at it. Uh huh, I
- 2:05Speaker 1: shall will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:10Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Arvy
- 2:14Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, Old Man. Old Man symbolizes
- 2:18Speaker 1: just one thing to me. Man, it's just a constant
- 2:20Speaker 1: remind of exactly how good God has been to me
- 2:23Speaker 1: over the years. And I'm thank him for it too,
- 2:26Speaker 1: because I realized every day that I wake up that
- 2:28Speaker 1: I would be nothing without him. That everything I am
- 2:32Speaker 1: that's any good in me, I owe to him. Now.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Have I made some mistakes along the way, yep, bunches,
- 2:40Speaker 1: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:44Speaker 1: along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I
- 2:49Speaker 1: have in the past, because a lot of stuff I
- 2:52Speaker 1: know better now. But you're still going to make mistakes now,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you know, hopefully I'll I've limited the amount of intentional
- 3:03Speaker 1: errors in my life. I've wiped quite a few of
- 3:06Speaker 1: those out, but from time to time, because we're human,
- 3:10Speaker 1: we're going to make a mistake every now and then.
- 3:12Speaker 1: To trick what it is, y'all, it's not to let
- 3:15Speaker 1: the devil deceive you into thinking that once you make
- 3:18Speaker 1: that mistake, that that's it. You can't do it, and
- 3:21Speaker 1: you're falling off the wagon, you can't reboard it. That's
- 3:25Speaker 1: the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you think
- 3:29Speaker 1: that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run the race. Um.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner. From
- 3:39Speaker 1: time to time I watch him on TV and you'll
- 3:43Speaker 1: see some people who are finished the race, you know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: in a in a in a nice pace. You see
- 3:50Speaker 1: people finish the race, sprinting towards the finished line. But
- 3:54Speaker 1: every now and then you're watching marathon and you'll see
- 3:59Speaker 1: a runner and the runner is in really really bad
- 4:04Speaker 1: shape and getting close to the finish line to the
- 4:07Speaker 1: point where you see them fall, and sometimes you see
- 4:10Speaker 1: them crawling and you see the people, the aid people
- 4:15Speaker 1: that work there trying to encourage them on. Now they
- 4:17Speaker 1: can't lift them up and walk them across the finish
- 4:20Speaker 1: line because they'll be disqualified. But you see people staggering
- 4:25Speaker 1: from side to side, I mean wobbling really really bad
- 4:30Speaker 1: legs are completely shocked, and you're thinking, man, I hope
- 4:34Speaker 1: they make it and hang on. And a lot of times,
- 4:38Speaker 1: almost every time I've seen this person or these people
- 4:42Speaker 1: managed to somehow cross the finish line and then the
- 4:46Speaker 1: aid workers running in and wrap them in the aluminum
- 4:49Speaker 1: fall looking up blanket and start trying to get some
- 4:54Speaker 1: water to them and get an I V in their
- 4:56Speaker 1: arm and get them in an ambulance. The key is
- 5:01Speaker 1: they finished the race. See, you don't get disqualified in
- 5:06Speaker 1: the marathon because you stumble. You don't. They don't. They
- 5:11Speaker 1: don't take your opportunity to finish the race because you
- 5:16Speaker 1: keep falling. That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And a lot of times what what the devil does
- 5:23Speaker 1: is he makes you think that because you keep stumbling,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because you're swaying from side to side, that you know
- 5:31Speaker 1: you're out the race. Well that's not the case. And see,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and in this thing called life, let me help you
- 5:37Speaker 1: understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 5:41Speaker 1: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear that some
- 5:46Speaker 1: people running faster than you and all like this, and
- 5:49Speaker 1: some people gonna get to the end before you. Let
- 5:51Speaker 1: them go ahead. And when the end come, the end come.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I ain't in the rush to get to the end.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But in this race, though, when you're stumbling and you're falling,
- 6:00Speaker 1: it's a part of it. No one gets through this
- 6:03Speaker 1: race without stumbling and falling, swaying from side to side.
- 6:06Speaker 1: So don't let the the enemy to see you into
- 6:10Speaker 1: thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging to
- 6:15Speaker 1: people because I don't want people to get stuck on
- 6:19Speaker 1: this thing, you know. And my walk is very different
- 6:21Speaker 1: from a lot of people's walks. And then I know
- 6:23Speaker 1: a lot of people who are walking in faith the
- 6:26Speaker 1: way I'm walking in faith. But my my thing in
- 6:28Speaker 1: the morning is just to remind those that is not
- 6:31Speaker 1: a perfect walk man, that it's not something that's set
- 6:36Speaker 1: up where you're gonna be skipping through life scott free
- 6:40Speaker 1: without any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it over
- 6:43Speaker 1: and over and over again, because, like I said, when
- 6:45Speaker 1: I was in d c Um, my boy Hando said
- 6:48Speaker 1: this to me and it just kind of stuck with
- 6:50Speaker 1: me that the road to construct, the road to successes
- 6:54Speaker 1: always under construction. You have to figure and count on
- 6:59Speaker 1: the setback, set the pitfalls. But it's those people that
- 7:03Speaker 1: that that that that fight through will be the victors
- 7:06Speaker 1: in the end. You cannot give up, man, Stop going
- 7:10Speaker 1: somewhere sitting down every time something goes down. It's going
- 7:15Speaker 1: to go down. It's a part of it. It's going
- 7:19Speaker 1: to happen. It's going to occur that are going to
- 7:22Speaker 1: be setbacks. If you go and sit down every time
- 7:25Speaker 1: there's a setback, you that's not how this works. Please
- 7:30Speaker 1: understand it is designed that way. If success were easy,
- 7:36Speaker 1: everybody would be successful. But success is just reserved for
- 7:42Speaker 1: those who are willing to fight through, who refused to
- 7:45Speaker 1: settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now, don't get
- 7:50Speaker 1: me wrong. Success is defined by each individual. So what
- 7:55Speaker 1: I may consider to be successful, you may not consider that.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You know what Bill Gates considers successful. I might not
- 8:03Speaker 1: consider what what Michael Jordan considers successful. I might not
- 8:07Speaker 1: consider what you consider successful, your boss might not consider.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You have to define what that is for yourself. It
- 8:14Speaker 1: may not be monetary at all. You know, your level
- 8:18Speaker 1: of success could be tied up in community service. It
- 8:22Speaker 1: could be tied up in family. It could be tied
- 8:25Speaker 1: up in the church. Your level of success could be
- 8:27Speaker 1: tied up into boys clubs. It could be any number
- 8:31Speaker 1: of things. Whatever your level of success is, you have
- 8:35Speaker 1: to determine what that is you And the best way
- 8:38Speaker 1: to determine that is to get in touch with your
- 8:42Speaker 1: maker who created you, to find out what your mission
- 8:46Speaker 1: and your purpose is so he can put you on track.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my son and we
- 8:53Speaker 1: were talking about getting on the path that God has
- 8:57Speaker 1: set up for you. So many times we find ourselves
- 9:00Speaker 1: fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because we
- 9:04Speaker 1: have no idea where we're headed. It's like one of
- 9:10Speaker 1: my own sayings that I have at my mentoring camp
- 9:14Speaker 1: for boys is is that a boy without a male
- 9:19Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. See
- 9:24Speaker 1: if you don't have a map laid out in front
- 9:28Speaker 1: of you of where you're going when you wake up
- 9:32Speaker 1: every day. That pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 9:38Speaker 1: the lasadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 9:45Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 9:50Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 9:54Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing?
- 9:57Speaker 1: The moment you can identify that is the moment that
- 10:01Speaker 1: you get started waking up with purpose, with the sense
- 10:04Speaker 1: of direction. When you kill the sense of I don't
- 10:08Speaker 1: know what's next or what to do. Now, there's gonna
- 10:11Speaker 1: be some confusing moments no matter what happened, it's gonna
- 10:13Speaker 1: be some uncertainty. But at least you know where you're going.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So if you're tied a waking up feeling loss, abandoned, confused,
- 10:22Speaker 1: don't know what to do, don't know what you're supposed
- 10:25Speaker 1: to be doing, refer back to your makeup. Because when
- 10:31Speaker 1: he created you, he had a plan for you. When
- 10:34Speaker 1: he created you, he had a path for you. Now
- 10:38Speaker 1: we've made some decisions to get off of both of those,
- 10:40Speaker 1: the mission and the path. But God can get you
- 10:44Speaker 1: right back on track. Do that today, Talk to him
- 10:48Speaker 1: about it, ask him what you're supposed to be doing,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and listen. God has all the answers. If you form
- 10:56Speaker 1: the relationship. Okay, all right, let's go. You're listening to
- 11:01Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Here it is Steve Harvey Morning Show on and cracking
- 11:12Speaker 1: on this long time. Hey Steve, good morning to you,
- 11:17Speaker 1: calling for real. Good morning. What's up crew, Junior. I
- 11:22Speaker 1: got office, drifting Brown. I want to thank you so
- 11:26Speaker 1: mad damn I got out office. Thank you. Look for
- 11:37Speaker 1: my fast, but I want a window. You just got
- 11:44Speaker 1: a cuico with the door on it, but they're calling
- 11:46Speaker 1: it the people who Tommy tom Rich chunko. What it do? Baby?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Hey man, let me tell y'all something. First of all,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I'm glad to be back, but I got to tell
- 12:08Speaker 1: you man, gain some damn weight on that vacation. I'm
- 12:17Speaker 1: gonna release this because I went to the doctors yesterday
- 12:20Speaker 1: and I did this special scan. I'll tell you the
- 12:23Speaker 1: name of as soon as I learned how to say it.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I don't know how to say it right now. I'm
- 12:29Speaker 1: gonna have him come on the show and talk about
- 12:31Speaker 1: some of the health benefits and stuff I'm really gonna
- 12:33Speaker 1: work on this year, and um, you know, I'm just
- 12:36Speaker 1: working on my health and uh boy, I stepped on
- 12:40Speaker 1: that dog on scale yesterday. Because it's a scale and
- 12:43Speaker 1: a scanner, it actually scans your body, shows you where
- 12:47Speaker 1: all your bones are, all your muscles, and your fat,
- 12:52Speaker 1: and it rotates you on this disk. And man, I
- 12:56Speaker 1: gotta tell you something. But you ain't gonna turn my
- 12:59Speaker 1: fat though. You're gonna just turn my fat around. Yeah, well,
- 13:02Speaker 1: don't get on it then, because they damn I're gonna
- 13:05Speaker 1: turn it. You're gonna see yourself from angles. It's it's
- 13:07Speaker 1: de moralizing. But see, I gotta I gotta tell you this.
- 13:12Speaker 1: You're rich. Keep that in mind. That's what I told him.
- 13:16Speaker 1: After I got off the scan they said, Mr Hervey,
- 13:19Speaker 1: it's nowhere near as bad as you think. This isn't
- 13:23Speaker 1: bad at all. You know, he got a little work
- 13:25Speaker 1: to do. But this is okay. I said, I'm gonna
- 13:28Speaker 1: have to go look at my bank act I can
- 13:30Speaker 1: feel better about myself. Can I say this to you? Please?
- 13:38Speaker 1: A fat man on the bus ain't lack A fat
- 13:40Speaker 1: man with a yacht, okay, it ain't give your percentage
- 13:51Speaker 1: of body fat, don't. Yeah, I don't want to share that, right,
- 14:00Speaker 1: And so what you do is it gives you this
- 14:03Speaker 1: three D view of your body and it rotates and
- 14:07Speaker 1: as you get on the program. What it helps especially
- 14:11Speaker 1: good for women who get frustrated because you all are
- 14:14Speaker 1: married to the scale and you step on the scale
- 14:17Speaker 1: and you don't see it moving and you get frustrated.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You can actually be trimming and not see it on
- 14:23Speaker 1: the scale. Is that like that machine on the Biggest
- 14:26Speaker 1: Loser when they go, I'm not that damn fat Mama
- 14:33Speaker 1: got on it. It wouldn't spin around at all. We
- 14:37Speaker 1: gotta go. Coming up at thirty two after the hour,
- 14:40Speaker 1: Steve has something funny. People who overdo their jobs. We'll
- 14:44Speaker 1: be back at thirty two after you're listening to Steve
- 14:49Speaker 1: Morning Show. Now, before we get to people who overdo
- 14:52Speaker 1: their jobs, Uh, talk about overdoing it. Donald Trump's former lawyer,
- 14:57Speaker 1: Michael Cohen appears to be in deep, deep, deep trouble.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Federal authorities are looking into his possible bank and tax fraud.
- 15:05Speaker 1: They're focusing on more than twenty million dollars in loans
- 15:10Speaker 1: taken out for taxi businesses owned by Cohen and his family,
- 15:13Speaker 1: says sources familiar with the investigation. To sources say they're
- 15:17Speaker 1: investigators are also checking to see whether Cohen broke campaign
- 15:21Speaker 1: finance and other laws by helping to arrange payouts to
- 15:24Speaker 1: women like Stormy Daniels who claimed to have had sexual
- 15:27Speaker 1: encounters with Donald Trump. Those charges could come by the
- 15:31Speaker 1: end of the month. So now you know, over the years,
- 15:35Speaker 1: should all these people be in jail all everybody is
- 15:38Speaker 1: in the White House? Should they or will they? That
- 15:46Speaker 1: will never happen. Michael Cohen wasn't in the White House. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: he was the attorney to talk because he feels he
- 15:55Speaker 1: was left behind. But okay, I have a question for
- 15:57Speaker 1: you guys, and this is a real question because this
- 16:00Speaker 1: was proposed. Would you all have i'ma Rosa as a
- 16:05Speaker 1: guest on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And if you did,
- 16:10Speaker 1: what question would you ask her? Yeah? Yeah? Why? Why? Why? What?
- 16:19Speaker 1: Why did you work there in the first place? Why?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Why would you go there? Why? I think mine is more?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Why bring all this out now? Then? Before? Why? Now?
- 16:32Speaker 1: Still another? Why is it just because you got fired?
- 16:34Speaker 1: So if you were still working there, would we know
- 16:36Speaker 1: all of this this quote unquote racist, all this stuff?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Would we know that? Or would you have kept that
- 16:41Speaker 1: hush hushing if you still had your job? I got
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'd asked a lot of anger. Okay, I pull it back,
- 16:50Speaker 1: but it's gonna be the same damn question, and just
- 16:52Speaker 1: in a different way. Yeah, I have to text it
- 16:55Speaker 1: to it, but it's gonna be another why Yeah, that's why, Rosa. Yeah, no,
- 17:01Speaker 1: this is a serious question though, really, I really would
- 17:04Speaker 1: I mean I appreciate those two. Tell me why would
- 17:07Speaker 1: you brought this out? But would you have her on
- 17:10Speaker 1: this show? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, and I would be respectful
- 17:17Speaker 1: to her book? Now, you know, am Rosa. You know
- 17:21Speaker 1: she likes You've heard her interviews. You know she likes
- 17:23Speaker 1: to take control, Steve, you knows. You know, she's combative,
- 17:27Speaker 1: you know that, Gordon, Yeah, no, you know these interviews,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and she thinks that people are out to get her.
- 17:42Speaker 1: So she's always the very defensive about the game. So
- 17:46Speaker 1: I recommend us recording her. Then we let the people here. Yeah. Well,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you know the question I would ask is are you
- 17:55Speaker 1: taping us? Well? Were this up in stinner soap? And
- 18:03Speaker 1: you gotta keep in mind, Yeah, you gotta keep in mind, Steve,
- 18:05Speaker 1: that she is trying to promote her book, and controversy sells,
- 18:10Speaker 1: you know, what she's doing sells this kind of Yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 1: she definitely does. So she and she's trying to sell
- 18:17Speaker 1: a book. She's trying to, you know, get a peak
- 18:19Speaker 1: interest in her book sales. That's basically what it is
- 18:22Speaker 1: as well. And she's been on the show a few times,
- 18:25Speaker 1: quite a few times. Yeah, on this show. Yeah, and
- 18:29Speaker 1: you're Rady Steve, And yeah, she's been on the show
- 18:37Speaker 1: of quite a fit. And she was with Michael Clark.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I think they both came on together, didn't I'd ask
- 18:42Speaker 1: another question up close? What that help people look like?
- 18:45Speaker 1: Up close when you're standing a right Anthony Brown show.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I just saw you're considering. I
- 18:56Speaker 1: think she would too. I think, well, here's the part
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm see because we live in this social media climate.
- 19:05Speaker 1: What I don't want is, you know, if I try
- 19:08Speaker 1: to give her a decent interview and try to just
- 19:12Speaker 1: allow her to make her viewpoints, then here come why
- 19:16Speaker 1: you got that Trump love on your show up there?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Blah blah blah, you know, and and and then I
- 19:24Speaker 1: got to hear all that mess that ain't even really
- 19:26Speaker 1: connected to me. You know, that's many hesitation. Don't let
- 19:31Speaker 1: fear drive your answer. I mean, don't you think you
- 19:35Speaker 1: still have that if you don't put her on too.
- 19:38Speaker 1: It's like, why if you don't well, but see, I
- 19:43Speaker 1: see people that I think that Trump administration has the
- 19:47Speaker 1: general public so polarized that the Trump haters is gonna
- 19:53Speaker 1: go against you. I don't care. If you don't say
- 19:56Speaker 1: you hate him too, then your ass ain't can he blak?
- 20:01Speaker 1: You know, if you're a Trump supporter, if you say
- 20:05Speaker 1: anything against him, you ain't blankety blake. It's a really
- 20:09Speaker 1: really tough spot to be in, you know, as an interviewer,
- 20:15Speaker 1: people of color have an attitude. I mean, he seems
- 20:17Speaker 1: like he always attacks people of color. He always has
- 20:21Speaker 1: remarks to say, he talks about Maxine Waters. He you know,
- 20:25Speaker 1: it's the stuff that he does and what he says
- 20:27Speaker 1: and makes us as anyway. Absolutely, and and and before
- 20:33Speaker 1: she was fired, she was, you know, in there in
- 20:36Speaker 1: all of that mess, not saying you're not saying anything,
- 20:40Speaker 1: you know, But so now if i'd be if I'm
- 20:43Speaker 1: a fair person and just allows you to give your
- 20:46Speaker 1: viewpoint about the book, then all of a sudden she
- 20:52Speaker 1: was up there and she was supporting him. Why are
- 20:54Speaker 1: you giving her a platform? I just look at people. Now,
- 20:58Speaker 1: it's not fear that drives our decision. Yeah, I really
- 21:01Speaker 1: don't need to invite the unnecessary into my net. You know, no, no, no, no.
- 21:11Speaker 1: We can make it just a straight igged week and
- 21:13Speaker 1: we can do Alma Rossa on Wednesday being casting on Tuesday.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Dennis Rodman and you were just speaking this running the
- 21:21Speaker 1: whole week and be ignorant. Yeah, put mo in there.
- 21:25Speaker 1: How you want to do what you want to do
- 21:27Speaker 1: with the whole money through Friday. We got people to
- 21:29Speaker 1: put on here. As long as he keep that bottom
- 21:39Speaker 1: row of teeth covered, we could a few good man, right,
- 21:46Speaker 1: So we're a marketing as the ignorant interview week week. Yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 1: all right, um, listen. Coming up NeXT's the nephew who
- 21:57Speaker 1: just made that suggestion with we've run that prank back.
- 22:01Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 22:05Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, coming up at the top of
- 22:08Speaker 1: the hour, we'll talk about last night's MTV v m
- 22:11Speaker 1: A Awards of VM as I should say, from Radio
- 22:14Speaker 1: City Music Hall in New York. Right now, it is
- 22:17Speaker 1: time for the nephew and run that prank back. What
- 22:20Speaker 1: you got, king of pranks? Yo, son Pete in the pool, Yes,
- 22:24Speaker 1: Pete in the pool, Your son Pete in the pool
- 22:28Speaker 1: running Pete in the pool. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 22:32Speaker 1: reach it. Can you hear me? Yes, I'm trying to
- 22:34Speaker 1: reach Anastasia. This is she? How are you doing? Listen?
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm Glee and the lifeguard over here at the pool

- 37:25Speaker 1: and grabbed the woman instead when she tried to save

- 46:41Speaker 1: the subject the secret much longer. But right now the
- 46:43Speaker 1: nephew is here with the prank phone call. What you
- 46:46Speaker 1: got pecan tree? You can say pecano, pecan? Which one
- 46:50Speaker 1: y'all want? Pc? He can't hit it. Hello, Hello, I'm
- 46:59Speaker 1: trying to uh lc hey, let me let me Hey,
- 47:04Speaker 1: my name is Marcus, uh my, my mom and them
- 47:07Speaker 1: little next dough to you uh, Mr and mrs my
- 47:10Speaker 1: mom and daddy little next dough to you. And I
- 47:13Speaker 1: was calling because y'all got a pe country in y'all backyard,
- 47:17Speaker 1: I mean right on the fience line and and to
- 47:20Speaker 1: keep you know, pecan and stuff keep falling over into
- 47:23Speaker 1: my mom and them yard. So I'm talling to see
- 47:25Speaker 1: if y'all can do something man, where y'all can pick
- 47:29Speaker 1: up I mean, my mom and them got a little older.
- 47:32Speaker 1: You know, we've been picking them up for a long time,
- 47:34Speaker 1: but I need somebody to, like, maybe you can cut
- 47:37Speaker 1: the limbs back that's hanging over so that they won't
- 47:40Speaker 1: you know, the pecans won't be falling over into my
- 47:42Speaker 1: mom and them yard because you know, for them to
- 47:44Speaker 1: be bending over like they're picking up them paca and
- 47:46Speaker 1: there's a lot of them. So you know, Mr, I
- 47:49Speaker 1: just wanted to how let you and see if you
- 47:51Speaker 1: don't mind maybe cutting the limbs back, because even when
- 47:54Speaker 1: we turned the lama on and stuff, man, it just
- 47:57Speaker 1: you know, the pecons and stuff be coming out of
- 47:59Speaker 1: the law, just shooting all over the place. Well, first
- 48:02Speaker 1: of all, my Mavacom tree, there's old calm tree. You know,
- 48:08Speaker 1: it's about will and I can't see me cutting it. Well.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying you can't have no body
- 48:15Speaker 1: to maintain your yards, but I mean you your mother.
- 48:21Speaker 1: You can maintain your mother's y'all. So I go by
- 48:24Speaker 1: my mother's house, you know, every other day and check
- 48:26Speaker 1: on it. But I don't have time to go on
- 48:28Speaker 1: the back and pick up pecans and stuff. You know
- 48:30Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I mean, if you just it don't
- 48:32Speaker 1: seem no more than like maybe four or five limbs
- 48:35Speaker 1: that's hanging over there. But them four or five limbs,
- 48:37Speaker 1: I mean they they there's a lot of pecans falling
- 48:40Speaker 1: off of that. So mavacorn tree and shady I goes
- 48:45Speaker 1: back there. There's no kind of nothing back the okay whatever, sir.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I'm not cutting my tree for like that, sir. Listen,
- 48:55Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get you to do
- 48:57Speaker 1: is I'm not I don't want you cutting your entire
- 48:59Speaker 1: tree down. I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 49:02Speaker 1: so you know those that way that those are the
- 49:04Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 49:06Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's near yard.
- 49:09Speaker 1: And and and you know, like I say, they're older now, man,
- 49:12Speaker 1: they can't be bending over like that's so you know,
- 49:14Speaker 1: I'm I'm just coming to you as a man right
- 49:17Speaker 1: now and asking you when you please cut this down
- 49:19Speaker 1: to these pecans can quit falling over my mom and
- 49:21Speaker 1: them yard almost and you all you can do is
- 49:24Speaker 1: hard someone. Okay, I know your mother. Don't cut your yard. No,
- 49:29Speaker 1: it's it's a guy that it's a guy that cuts
- 49:31Speaker 1: the yard. But even when he cutting the yard, these
- 49:34Speaker 1: pecans is flying out from underneath the y'all the law
- 49:37Speaker 1: more they sooner, lady, we're gonna be breaking windows over that.
- 49:40Speaker 1: What kind of lord person you have that don't pick
- 49:44Speaker 1: up before they cut? Why am I arguing with you
- 49:47Speaker 1: about picking up stuff and all of this? I'm asking
- 49:49Speaker 1: you to cut a funking left five limbs so these
- 49:52Speaker 1: dogs anna pecans they're falling over my mama yard. You

- 50:06Speaker 1: that tree gonna stay long. I stay though, sir, Look,
- 50:11Speaker 1: I didn't ask you like a man to cut your
- 50:13Speaker 1: little funking for corn tree down. Now, I ain't in
- 50:15Speaker 1: the hat. What you know? What what you you you
- 50:20Speaker 1: bad know you can't cut it. I've been look sir
- 50:24Speaker 1: tonight today rather this evening. It's either gonna be two
- 50:28Speaker 1: things happening. Either you're gonna cut the five limbs that
- 50:31Speaker 1: I won't cut up in the cut, cut the whole
- 50:33Speaker 1: damn or corn tree down. That's my tree in any game.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Nobody with my I'm here right now, I'm you're not

- 53:55Speaker 1: it's yeah, it's good, but she doesn't make it. Sometimes
- 53:59Speaker 1: it's just it's just sugar dog sious. Man, you eat
- 54:02Speaker 1: a slice of peak and pote, you gotta go sleep.
- 54:07Speaker 1: It's an instant sugar coma. What you gotta have it
- 54:10Speaker 1: with some blue bell ice cream? Blue bell? Yes? What's that?

- 55:12Speaker 1: Here it ease the Strawberry LETTA. Subject can't keep this
- 55:15Speaker 1: secret much longer. Dear Stephen Shirley, my fiance and I
- 55:19Speaker 1: met in college and we've been together for three years.
- 55:23Speaker 1: She is perfect in every way. She has the looks,
- 55:26Speaker 1: a great job, and when it comes to the bedroom,
- 55:29Speaker 1: she is on fire. But anyway, here is the problem.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Last weekend I took her to our usual breakfast spot
- 55:37Speaker 1: and we started talking about the wedding and our guest list.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I have met her mom, dad's siblings and grandparents, and
- 55:44Speaker 1: she's met my immediate family as well. As we talked
- 55:47Speaker 1: more in depth about our relatives. I told her about
- 55:50Speaker 1: the small city where my family was from, and she
- 55:52Speaker 1: said that her family was from there too. I told
- 55:55Speaker 1: her my dad was a huge has a huge family,
- 55:59Speaker 1: and they all live near the river. She said that
- 56:01Speaker 1: her mom's family lives near that same river. At that point,
- 56:05Speaker 1: we both had strange looks on our faces. Intrigued by
- 56:09Speaker 1: these unique circumstances, my fiance called her grandmother and asked
- 56:14Speaker 1: her if she knew my family. When her grandmother replied, yes,
- 56:18Speaker 1: we're all related, our mouths dropped open. She told us
- 56:23Speaker 1: that everyone that lives on either side of that river
- 56:26Speaker 1: is related. Since then, we've done more research and we
- 56:30Speaker 1: found out that we are, in fact cousins. I cannot
- 56:34Speaker 1: believe that I've been sleeping with my cousins. We are
- 56:38Speaker 1: not sure what we should do. We are in love
- 56:40Speaker 1: and plan to get married. I don't want to lose her,
- 56:43Speaker 1: but I'm afraid to continue the relationship, especially when our
- 56:47Speaker 1: families find out. Her grandmother is bound to tell our
- 56:50Speaker 1: secrets sooner or later. We need some advice. What should
- 56:53Speaker 1: we do? Wow? God, yeah, this is something right here. Uh.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I mean, as far as I know, you can't marry
- 57:02Speaker 1: your cousin. You didn't say if you guys were first cousins.
- 57:04Speaker 1: I think in some countries like England and stuff like that.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I think long ago they um, you know, in the
- 57:10Speaker 1: monarchy and stuff like that, they wanted to keep the
- 57:12Speaker 1: bloodline going, so sometimes they would marry their cousins and stuff.
- 57:15Speaker 1: But you're not over there, clearly. Uh. Some states over here,
- 57:19Speaker 1: as I understand it, I look this up, they do
- 57:22Speaker 1: have laws where you can marry your cousins. So I
- 57:24Speaker 1: don't know, I've never heard of this. I know before
- 57:27Speaker 1: long long ago, like when my mom got married, they
- 57:29Speaker 1: used to give you blood tests and things like that
- 57:31Speaker 1: to see if you were related. But now when you
- 57:34Speaker 1: get married, you don't have to do blood tests. So, uh,
- 57:38Speaker 1: this right here, I couldn't do it at once I
- 57:42Speaker 1: found out it would be It would be hard for me.
- 57:45Speaker 1: But um, you're in love and you plan to get married.
- 57:48Speaker 1: You don't want to lose her, and you're afraid to
- 57:50Speaker 1: continue the relationship. But remember that look that you had
- 57:53Speaker 1: on your face when you found out. Are you going
- 57:55Speaker 1: to be able to go on with this marriage knowing
- 57:59Speaker 1: that you're married to your cousin? Uh? You know when
- 58:02Speaker 1: you have kids, that's something to consider. This is this
- 58:05Speaker 1: is uh well above my pay grade here. I'm gonna
- 58:08Speaker 1: just be honest with you. I personally would have to
- 58:11Speaker 1: back out once I found out that it was in
- 58:13Speaker 1: fact my cousin Steve. Well, it ain't above my pay grade.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I can tell you that right now. As a matter
- 58:20Speaker 1: of fact, let's damn that river. Yeah, let's just go
- 58:29Speaker 1: and get to this hill. You don't fell in love
- 58:36Speaker 1: obviously the girl of your dreams now, y'all, y'all was
- 58:41Speaker 1: at this breakfast place, playing in your way. I just
- 58:44Speaker 1: can't believe that it took y'all three years to start
- 58:49Speaker 1: talking about where y'all through h that's just sort of
- 58:54Speaker 1: crazy to me. Now you've each met each other's immediate family,
- 59:02Speaker 1: But y'all started talking about this river. And that's why
- 59:07Speaker 1: I say the subject of this letter ought to be
- 59:10Speaker 1: can't keep the secret much longer, Oh damn that river.
- 59:18Speaker 1: And the subject is can't keep this secret much longer,
- 59:22Speaker 1: Oh damn that river, because that damn river then messed
- 59:28Speaker 1: up the plans. You got to talking more in debt
- 59:31Speaker 1: about your relatives. I told her, from a small city,
- 59:35Speaker 1: where my family is from. Her family, from a small city.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Told her my dad had a huge family. She said,
- 59:41Speaker 1: her mama got a huge family. She said, her mom
- 59:44Speaker 1: family living near the river. I said, damn, my dad
- 59:47Speaker 1: and family lived near the river. Then you got that
- 59:49Speaker 1: strange look on your faith. Then, when you know something
- 59:51Speaker 1: wrong right here, you intrigued by these unique circumstances. She
- 59:57Speaker 1: called her grandmama, asked her grandmama, and a at my reply, yeah,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: we are related. Everybody on that river is related that
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: river and quit talking to her old way. We all
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: related to everybody on each side of that river. Well,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: if everybody on each side of the river is related,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: how all and people get on east side of the
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: river some cousins de met before. You ain't the first one.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Y'all in love, What you need to do is find
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: out how far down the line this cousin thing goes
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the river. Because, like Shirley say, she didn't she didn't
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: researched it. I don't research stuff like this because I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: don't really give damn what y'all do, so so I
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: don't give damn what you do. All I know is
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: damn that river. Now listen, if I was you, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: would get a DNA test so you can see how
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: closely it is. Secondly, you're in love. You ain't gonna
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: stop loving now, you ain't gonna stop seeing how. I
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: don't know how you can. I don't know how this happened.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I don't know if it's meant to be. But hear
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: what you can't do. I'm gonna come back and share
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: this information. I'm gonna tell you reasons why you can't
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: have a wed and have all the asses. That's why, man,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you can't have a wed and that ass here. See,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: if it's so many states in the US that allow
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: cousins to get married, it's unbelievable. Yeah, and I think
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I understand that if it's so far down the line.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: It may not be nothing that can happen, but there's
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: one damn show way to find out if you should
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: have gotten marrid or not called that baby. That he
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: could be different to Steve's response coming up. He could
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: be standing on the bridge and be looking at both
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: sides of the river at the same time. We'll be
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: back in twenty three after the hour. The subject can't
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: keep the secret much longer, or Steve right after this
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: you're listening to Steven show. Alright, Steve, come on, we're back.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Let's recap this letter. The subject can't keep the secret
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: much longer. Or this couple been in love. They're so
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: in love. They've been dating three years. They decided to
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: get married. They're sitting down at the breakfast place. They're
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: going over the list, trying to figure out what they're
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: going do, who they're gonna invite. She started talking about
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: her grandmama, her down there. Uh had a big family,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: lived on the river. He said, his daddy had a
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: big family. Her daddy lived people lived on every body
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: the river too, and then the same small city, same

- 1:22:02Speaker 1: address it, it has no effect on you. Right Like
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: like your pastor told me, Shirley, stay on the wall.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: So when they're trashing us with garbage, why would we
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: pay attention to that. I'm not leaving my girl for
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: no damn body death, I'm not. I'm not leaving Margreie
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: for nobody. Beautiful, nobody, man, that's beautiful. And Chris Jenner's
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: friends of ours, So how would that work? Well? Can
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I say this? I don't think so. No. It's not
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: positive about positive, it's very positive about marriage. And you
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: don't want Chris Jenna. You got out of that if
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you want. If you want old Black, it's here, Oh black,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: old Black, come on regard she like ash you old
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: black with diabetes? O Blacklo, you can put that on
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: old Black. It's over here waiting on you. So you
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: want steam to pass that along? What he said, he's
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: not You're stupid, man, That's what he got out of that.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I mean that part part felt thing that Steve just said.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: He professed his love for Marjorie and then he's never
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: going anywhere. Should have left him over there too late. Now,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: all right, look, we'll be back with more of the
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Steve Hartley Morning Show right after this. In it, man,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Al Right, guys,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: one of the most famous brothels in the world. Things
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: what with famous? When I said famous, when I said world,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: when I say world, when I say well, yes, alright,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: one of the most famous brothels in the world thinks
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: it can help Tiger Woods get over the hump because
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you know he came really close last week. Uh okay,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: we all love Tiger here at Sherry's Um. That's what
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Dina said. She's um, the Madam of the ranch, Sherry Branch.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Write that down. What is what is wrong with him?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Ain't the most famous one. Dina is the madame of
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Sherry's Ranch that you've never heard. Okay, so keep going
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to go ahead, you're taking notes. Since Sherry's is known
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: for keeping secrets, there is no safer place for Tiger
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to indulge with a wide variety of women. This is
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: what Dina is saying, she's the madam. In fact, they're
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: offering up to a seventy five discount for Tiger on
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: anything that they offer off. Yeah, three quarters off, yeah,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: and they offer a whole lot. They're in Vegas bottom, Nevada.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Now look, and it's a resort style brothel. They have
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: like upscale rooms. Oh you can drink swimming do they
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: have it around the world? But they got in there.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: They have a spa and an outdoor swimming pool. Oh
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: that's niken. Keep going a Tiger though. They want to
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: help Tiger get back. You can ask another question, what
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: you think you think Old Black could get that? Not
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: old be though. I love then you get that sent
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: reps and on the Old Black I'll go that and
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: didn't get it. Well, you know about golf, I mean
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: you know you do too. To help Tiger team Jake.

- 1:28:15Speaker 1: back at thirty three after the hour. Right after this.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: He lamar been down there. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. A health official in a Colombian city
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: is urging residents to have less sex as a way
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: to avoid dehydration during a heatwave that has impacted the area. Okay,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: so they feel like, you know, yeah, first of all,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: if the lands break, y'all tell us about a broth,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: then y'all come to this break now. Y'all don't want
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: us to do it normal because there's a heatwave going
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: down there. You know, I don't give a damn how
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: hot it is. I don't want you to be hydrated.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: I don't know. They're looking out for your health again,
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: you know, that's all. It's. In the Caribbean city of
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Santa Marta, temperatures have hovered in the mid nineties for
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: much of the month. Health Secretary Julio salas Uh told
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: the local radio station their radio. Galan that residents should
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: avoid sex during the day when temperatures are at their highest.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: He says avoiding making avoiding avoid making love or having
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: sex at times when the temperature is high, especially at noon,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: because this activity places physical demands on you and increases
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: your heart rate. So what is Julio doing? It? New
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: what he doing? And Julio got no. Here's how anybody
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: got to add on it. I don't give a damn
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: how heart it is. I don't give a damn if
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: my air is out, and I don't care if I
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: got that same fan we head in my room when
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: I was a boy. One blade. Time to do it.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Let's go tomorrow. But you can't do it at certain
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: times of the day. Just get you, just cut. You
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: can't pick my love. Tak for your health. Guy, I
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: love to sweat, hurt the ball. I'm talking about it
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: dripping in my eyes. This is hot yoga, basically. Yeah,
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. We just get in the shower
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: and turn the shower off. I was gonna ask you guys,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: but you guys have pretty much answered it. Does being
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: hot and sweating make you want to not make love?
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Or does does it not make you want to go
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: there with you know, I've been freezing to death and
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: felt like fact, let's open that big deep freeze up
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: and turn it sideways and get in there. We're gonna
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: find out a way I have been outside in the cold,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: risking a sickle sale. Christ come on, come on, let
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: me tell you something. I go down to the supermarket
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: a crow and get in the frozen section. We both
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: lay cross, but we're gonna we're not gonna not do
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: this though, and carrots right on them. Care. I dated
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: a girl in the in the projects, and if you
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: didn't pay your rent in the projects, they sent the
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: maintenance man over there to take your front dough off
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: until you came and bought your rent money. Yeah, with
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: the dope off with the door can say that, no,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: damn dope. So you all just be walking around dehydrated,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: I guess. And Nike's thick. Yeah, it's sick. That's not
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: a tough choice to make. Yeah, I'll do it on
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: the kitchen floor with the oven door open. Bacon, you're
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: gonna cook yourself all right. We'll be back with more
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: of the Steve Harpy Morning Show and to close it
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: out right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: Morning Show. Here we are, last break of the day.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: We've had a good day, right, It's been fun today.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Huh yeah, yeah, on Carlo's anniversary. Girl. All right, Steve,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: take us home with some closing please. Yeah. You know,
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: I wanted to address men oh today and just pay
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: a compliment to men. I'm talking to men who who
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: take the time out to be dad's. Uh, if your father,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: that's one thing. If you are dad, that's a whole
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: another thing. You know, any anybody can father child. You
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: can commit an act of love or act of lust
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: and become a father, But it takes another dude to
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: become a dad. And I just wanted to take some
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: time out to recognize the dad's out there. Um. You know,
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: moms get a lot of the credit, and as they should.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: I mean, being a mother is something special. I think
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: we all would agree. The fact that a woman can
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: have a child and give birth to a human being,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: I mean that puts them in a class of their own.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: We we can't even begin to compete or compare who
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: we are and what we do, but we are valuable
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: all the same. And there are men out there who
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: have taken the responsibility after they've become fathers to become dads,
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: and and this of it is just to you, just
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: to say thank you for being dad's, for taking the
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: time to honor your commitment. Understand that it don't always
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: work out with the mother. I do understand that, but
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: it has got to work out for the children. I'm
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: so happy for the men who fight through the problems
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: of the relationship to still maintain a relationship with the child.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: That's so critically important, it really really is. I thank
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: God for men who take the responsibility of other fathers
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: children who have not, cannot or won't, for whatever the
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: reason is, take up the banner of being a dad.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: There are a lot of men who have stepped in
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: and become dads and father figures for children all around
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: and because simply because their actual biological father just ain't
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: up to the task, for whatever the reason is. But
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: this ain't slamming nobody. I'm just saying thank you for
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: the dads who are dads. It has been an honor
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: to be a father and a dad. And I want
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: every man out there that's being a dad, that's that's
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: seeing about their kids in school, that's sending them texts,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: that's checking on them, that's taking them to the park,
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: that's walking with them, that's holding their little girl's hand,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: that's putting their arm around their son and offering them
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: leadership and guidance. That's going through all the things to
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: help provide the necessary tools for this young person to
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: grow up and feel the security of a man. It
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: has been an honor for me to be a father.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: Uh yesterday my daughters were born and then callig and
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: they grew me up quite a bit. They were twenty
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I was twenty five years old when they were born.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: I wasn't really equipped for the job fully, but they
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: grew me up and ever since then, I have tried
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: to uphold my end of the bargain. I fall in
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: short sometimes I guess along the way, but at the
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: end of it, I always tried to make good on
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: my promise to them. I always tried to be the
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: best I could for them. And you know, everybody makes
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: mistakes in life. And once again, this ain't a slam
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: on nobody. I'm just taking out the time to say
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: to the dad's out there, thank you all for being dads,
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: for putting it down. It is an honor to be
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: a father. It's a beautiful thing to see a man
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: with his child, playing with the baby, walking, a little
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: girl holding her walking, these boys teaching them, throwing a
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: ball with him. You ain't got to have money to
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: be a great dad. A matter of fact, you don't
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: have to have money at all. You got to have love,
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: you got to have some time, and you got to
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: have hard for it. And there's a lot of men
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: out there that's got too hard for And I'm appreciative
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: of that because oftentimes me and get a bad rap.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: But it's a lot of good men out there. It's
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: a lot of good men that the found a way
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: to take care of their children. It's a lot of
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: good men out there that have found a way to
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: take care of other men's children that hate that ain't
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: stepped up to the plate, like I said, for for
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: whatever the reason. But this ain't really about them. This
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: is about the men who have given themselves unselfishly two
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: children so that they can say that's my daddy, that's
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: my dad. I mean, that's got to be a reassuring
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: feeling for a child and say I'm going to tell
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: my daddy, not that it's gonna get you in trouble.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: It's just I got somebody that I think is big
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: and strong, and there's a lot of men out there
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: that's being their kids hero that maybe your kid think
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: you better than Superman or Batman. And that's what it's
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: all about. Man. You just want somebody to feel that
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: way about you. So hats off to all the men
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: out there that's been being dad's that's been giving it up,
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: that's taking care of your families, that's putting it in,
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: that's providing a place to stay cause, protection, security, love, guidance, discipline.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: That's what fatherhood is about. That's what being a dad
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: is about. My hats off to all of y'all those
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: happy Father's day yea Father's days every day? Yeah huh.
