- 2:04Speaker 1: come on and everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do you understand that?
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you God been big in my life. God,
- 2:18Speaker 1: God is a gentleman. You know. I want to I
- 2:21Speaker 1: want to point that out to you. God is an
- 2:24Speaker 1: absolute gentleman. He will not come in unless he's invited.
- 2:31Speaker 1: He don't just barge into your life. He gives us
- 2:35Speaker 1: the power of choice. You know. If you say you
- 2:38Speaker 1: got it, I don't need you. He let you have it.
- 2:42Speaker 1: If you say I need you, come see about me.
- 2:45Speaker 1: He right there. It's just a real simple thing, man.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So always say to people this. If you've gotten yourself
- 2:53Speaker 1: into something, and please know I have I man see that.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That's why I'm so adamant about it because I've gotten
- 3:04Speaker 1: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life. But
- 3:08Speaker 1: I've been I've had some low moments, man, I've had
- 3:12Speaker 1: some moments why I did not know what to do.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I didn't know what was next, I didn't know how
- 3:20Speaker 1: to go about it. I didn't have no more ideas.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,
- 3:31Speaker 1: might not make it past this one. But then if
- 3:34Speaker 1: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And
- 3:37Speaker 1: then I held on to this little thing that my
- 3:40Speaker 1: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes when
- 3:43Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope, she said,
- 3:48Speaker 1: just hope it'll be all right, you know. And what
- 3:51Speaker 1: I've learned in my life is that hope. It's the
- 3:54Speaker 1: beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there a possibility
- 3:59Speaker 1: out there for me? I sure hope something happened? See hope,
- 4:06Speaker 1: Hope it's okay, man, Because like I said, for me,
- 4:10Speaker 1: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 4:13Speaker 1: of faith. It was just the idea. It's just the
- 4:16Speaker 1: thought that something could change from me, that something could
- 4:20Speaker 1: be a little bit different from me. That maybe, man,
- 4:23Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
- 4:30Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:35Speaker 1: any other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up. Maybe
- 4:40Speaker 1: somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say all right.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I don't know, but I can't count the times I've
- 4:48Speaker 1: been in that position. But then once I hope a
- 4:52Speaker 1: little bit, and then I remember. Also my mother, because
- 4:55Speaker 1: she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me the
- 4:58Speaker 1: most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life. Nothing
- 5:01Speaker 1: has been greater in my life than my faith. She
- 5:05Speaker 1: taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when you
- 5:08Speaker 1: get real dog for your son. Prad changes things, she said,
- 5:13Speaker 1: when you seem like you lost and you can't finding
- 5:16Speaker 1: your way, stop and pray, she said, because prad changes things.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You know, when you get a point in your life
- 5:24Speaker 1: when you've done all you can do and you can't
- 5:26Speaker 1: do no more and you just don't know what to
- 5:29Speaker 1: do next, she says, stop, So pray and combine that
- 5:35Speaker 1: prayer with that hope that you got, she said, because
- 5:40Speaker 1: that hope is the beginning of faith. She said. If
- 5:43Speaker 1: you pray just hoping, she's saying that God come through
- 5:48Speaker 1: for you. That will give you confidence that he can
- 5:51Speaker 1: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 1: she's saying, you start believing. She saying, that's when you're
- 5:59Speaker 1: on to something. Then if you can turn that hope
- 6:03Speaker 1: into belief, that hope into faith, that's that's the ability
- 6:13Speaker 1: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
- 6:17Speaker 1: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
- 6:20Speaker 1: you can't see. See Hoping a little bit different from
- 6:24Speaker 1: me now, I'm pretty sure, like I say, oftentimes to
- 6:27Speaker 1: tell a lot of people who can explain this thing
- 6:29Speaker 1: a lot better than I can to you hope. It's
- 6:32Speaker 1: just kind of I don't know how to I don't
- 6:34Speaker 1: know how to say it. But I'm just telling you hope.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You're just hoping it worked out right. You just have
- 6:39Speaker 1: a thought in your mind that you know, man, whoever
- 6:43Speaker 1: you are, or whoever you are, whatever you are to me, God,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I show hope something change. Hope helps. Man. If you
- 6:52Speaker 1: ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, hope, and
- 6:58Speaker 1: then if you pray with some hope and God answers
- 7:02Speaker 1: your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence. And
- 7:07Speaker 1: after a while, that confidence becomes faith. Now they're just hoping,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 7:28Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 7:33Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 7:38Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 7:44Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 7:48Speaker 1: your faith. See. A lot of people get the word
- 7:53Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
- 7:57Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
- 8:00Speaker 1: out here. But really an essence, man, when I talk
- 8:03Speaker 1: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
- 8:08Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
- 8:20Speaker 1: me today. It is the faith that I have in
- 8:24Speaker 1: my relationship with God that enables me to just oftentimes,
- 8:30Speaker 1: if I stay on the right course and believe a
- 8:33Speaker 1: certain way and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:40Speaker 1: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
- 8:43Speaker 1: little ways too. I've started to notice. See it ain't
- 8:46Speaker 1: just a lot of people think blessings is money and now, man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that ain't it. It's coverage. It's every time my plane
- 8:53Speaker 1: lands safe. It's every time they predict bad weather and
- 8:58Speaker 1: I get up in the sky and don't be no
- 9:00Speaker 1: bad weather. You know this, This is favor. These are
- 9:05Speaker 1: blessings that get poured out to me. Somebody call me
- 9:09Speaker 1: and offer me something, not money, but an opportunity. See,
- 9:15Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:19Speaker 1: into God, once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:24Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:27Speaker 1: Him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:30Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:33Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:36Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:39Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:41Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Come on? Why why would you not change? Why would
- 9:48Speaker 1: you not allow God to be a part of your life?
- 9:51Speaker 1: God got some big plans for you. If he didn't,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you wouldn't keep waking up. All right? You're listening show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, it is here the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Another blessed day. I just want to say thank you God,
- 10:10Speaker 1: I really do, for just keeping me, for allowing me
- 10:13Speaker 1: another opportunity. I really do appreciate that. Thank you, and
- 10:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna take full advantage of today and do the
- 10:21Speaker 1: best that I can to turn this blessing into what
- 10:25Speaker 1: you intended it to be. That's how we started it
- 10:28Speaker 1: right here this morning. You understand, I'm here representing a
- 10:31Speaker 1: crew Charley Strawberry Carlin for rel Mississippi Monica Junior, better
- 10:40Speaker 1: known is no All. He's better known as Junior. Government

- 11:04Speaker 1: PRIM back in the Semnis You know what was you

- 11:43Speaker 1: and heel on them. Fourteen dollars had him in layaway

- 11:51Speaker 1: him out in time for pram. Yeah. The music back
- 11:56Speaker 1: then was jungle boogie and Hollywood Swam. Ain't those were
- 12:01Speaker 1: the two hit songs. Cool at the game, Yeah, and

- 12:30Speaker 1: gonna have a good time. No, man, but she pretty.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna gonna take her. Pretty don't always translate into
- 12:38Speaker 1: a pretty good time. I can tell you that, right, appreciate.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I mean, did you go eat? Did you go eat? Done?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Before the prom? Nah? Noah? Man, we was eating at
- 12:49Speaker 1: the prom? What did she telling about? I ain't got
- 12:51Speaker 1: no money for all that. She had to work, sleep,
- 12:56Speaker 1: had to work. She was in high school. Shop work.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Why was she so sleepy? Yeah, he won't none to
- 13:03Speaker 1: this date, he was all right, you know, yeah I

- 13:09Speaker 1: of that, none of that. Just come on, let's just
- 13:11Speaker 1: go and get this over with. But the next day
- 13:13Speaker 1: at the Senior picnic, I was riding with on the
- 13:16Speaker 1: train and saw Patricia Turner and Lord have mercy. I
- 13:21Speaker 1: jumped off the train and see the point, climbed over
- 13:25Speaker 1: eight foot fish and spent a whole day with Patricia Turner.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah you talk about make a green country. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I wasn't from the ruin my whole damn senior weekend,
- 13:35Speaker 1: right all right, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:40Speaker 1: the hour, Yes he did. Carla, it is the nephew,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and run that frank back right after this. You're listening show,
- 13:49Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew, and run that
- 13:51Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for us? Now, we're gonna
- 13:54Speaker 1: take it to a funeral today, take it to a
- 13:57Speaker 1: funeral to day. And what we want is we want
- 13:59Speaker 1: three minute remarks. Don't want four and I one five.
- 14:02Speaker 1: We just won three. Okay, all of the Black America's
- 14:06Speaker 1: thinking about changing that to two minutes. I'm thinking about
- 14:09Speaker 1: changing it too, but right now this is a three

- 15:04Speaker 1: I wanted to call you because we're getting ready to
- 15:07Speaker 1: print the programs for the funeral and let you know
- 15:11Speaker 1: that they have taken you off for the remarks because
- 15:17Speaker 1: they say that you're not going to be What do
- 15:21Speaker 1: you mean taking me off? Well, what I'm saying is
- 15:24Speaker 1: they say that you're you're not going to abide by
- 15:28Speaker 1: the two three minute rule that they have for remarks,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and they wanted they've they've taken you off and uh

- 15:44Speaker 1: the actual funeral director lord, and who who told you
- 15:48Speaker 1: to take me off? One of the one of the
- 15:52Speaker 1: family members I'm assuming is who who made the adjustment?
- 15:56Speaker 1: And an adjustment that ain't no adjustment, that's that's in
- 16:00Speaker 1: the whole program. Who else is on the list? I
- 16:03Speaker 1: mean there's quite a few family members doing different things,
- 16:06Speaker 1: uh throughout the funeral. Okay, so how did you get
- 16:11Speaker 1: to my name? Is what I'm trying to figure out
- 16:13Speaker 1: that they said that. Let listen to me. Listen, listen
- 16:16Speaker 1: to me. Listen to me, brother, keep listen to me.
- 16:19Speaker 1: What they said it is that you weren't going to
- 16:22Speaker 1: abide by the time. You weren't going to do your
- 16:26Speaker 1: remarks in three minutes or less. Listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Monty raised me, he put me through college. And you
- 16:35Speaker 1: think I'm ben I've Beenna goes there in her funeral
- 16:39Speaker 1: and be under two minutes. Well, well listen for listen
- 16:43Speaker 1: to keep brother, keep listen to me. Normally, when we
- 16:46Speaker 1: have these funerals, people who give remarks, we have them
- 16:50Speaker 1: three minutes or less. Okay, Okay, I'll tell you, I'll
- 16:55Speaker 1: tell you what, mister lord, don't list we have a sealer. Yes,
- 17:02Speaker 1: there's a ceiler that's singing her name off the list.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Take her off the list and put me where she
- 17:08Speaker 1: supposed to be with my current and her time is
- 17:12Speaker 1: Bobby Bobby um, Yes, Bobby Junior is given remarks. That's
- 17:20Speaker 1: a that's that's Delores'. That's mister Lories's son, right, Yes,
- 17:26Speaker 1: her son, the one that been locked up. He just
- 17:28Speaker 1: got out of tail. The truth be told, he the
- 17:30Speaker 1: one down. Then put her in the cof. You needn't
- 17:33Speaker 1: take him off the list too. Give me all that time,
- 17:35Speaker 1: because I mean, if inge gonna take nothing that Keith,
- 17:39Speaker 1: let me let me. Let me just say this to you.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I cannot take Sheila or Bobby Junior off. I can't
- 17:46Speaker 1: make any alterations to this program unless they say that,
- 17:51Speaker 1: actually you already you already taking you already taking people
- 17:57Speaker 1: name off, you're taking my name off. But but they
- 18:00Speaker 1: they orchestrated this though. Who is they? Who is they? They?
- 18:05Speaker 1: For having my problems? They try to take me off
- 18:07Speaker 1: my hockey program? Who is they? Sir? I'm not gonna
- 18:13Speaker 1: get into a family matter. But until they say that,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you can't matter sure, I'm not gonna. I don't want to.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I don't want to have this turn out to be
- 18:23Speaker 1: bad and we want to have a great homegoing for
- 18:25Speaker 1: sister Deloyder. Okay, damn right. And if I don't get
- 18:29Speaker 1: to say nothing, I guaranteez, I guarantee you it's gonna
- 18:32Speaker 1: be a truthful one in there. Somebody else don't get
- 18:35Speaker 1: things and a call for tooth. I guarantees that if
- 18:38Speaker 1: I don't get to say nothing that my monkey funeral,
- 18:40Speaker 1: Monethy didn't pay for the college. I didn't put six
- 18:44Speaker 1: thousand induitable. I bet you, I tell you this. I'll
- 18:48Speaker 1: tell you this, miss Lord. I bet you whether I
- 18:51Speaker 1: want the program I'm not. I bet you, I say
- 18:53Speaker 1: with the fool I want to. I'll bet you that much.
- 18:57Speaker 1: You tell bay that I didn't. I didn't put me
- 19:01Speaker 1: through college put money on the funeral. I called around
- 19:05Speaker 1: a few who ain't putting no money on the Frindal
- 19:07Speaker 1: fell in. They can't be on the program, man Keith.
- 19:13Speaker 1: They when they decide who who Who's own it? If
- 19:18Speaker 1: they changed the format, then I will call you back.

- 19:25Speaker 1: Get you understand who is back. Can I can I

- 21:23Speaker 1: when her phone rings, she goes away from me to
- 21:25Speaker 1: take the call. I pick her up from work when
- 21:28Speaker 1: we go out, and she's met all my friends, but
- 21:31Speaker 1: I've only met a few of her co workers. It's
- 21:33Speaker 1: been four months. So why is she so reserved? Will
- 21:37Speaker 1: Rodney a couple of things? Either she has no plans
- 21:42Speaker 1: for you in the future, or she shame? Are you
- 21:46Speaker 1: That's it? Those are his choices. I mean, what else
- 21:49Speaker 1: could it be? She has no plans for you in

- 21:57Speaker 1: taking it easy, taking it slow, get to know them all.
- 22:00Speaker 1: That couldn't be that. Well, then she has no plans

- 22:11Speaker 1: It is to find a good man out here. You
- 22:14Speaker 1: find one, and now you don't want to round nobody.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Come on, let's stop this. Let's stop this right here.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Who playing in this circus trick right here? Yes, of
- 22:22Speaker 1: her co workers, just co workers. That's because he got
- 22:25Speaker 1: to go down there to pick her up. Yeah, he
- 22:28Speaker 1: can't come by the house, this mysterious woman she married.
- 22:35Speaker 1: All right, hey, Rodney, it's time for you to take
- 22:37Speaker 1: a self check, partner. Really, you need to look at
- 22:39Speaker 1: yourself real close and just make some magnicians. It'll help you, man,
- 22:45Speaker 1: It'll just help you in your life, in your future. Rodney,
- 22:47Speaker 1: just be real with yourself. All right, here we go,
- 22:49Speaker 1: moving on to my Issha and Tempe. Uh. My issue says,
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'm twenty nine years old and I'm engaged. My fiance
- 22:57Speaker 1: was dmning a woman that's eleven years older than me,
- 23:00Speaker 1: and she told him that he should experience an older
- 23:02Speaker 1: woman before he gets married. And he said, all right, bet.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He swears that he has no intentions of having sex
- 23:08Speaker 1: with her. Doesn't all right, bet mean that he wants
- 23:11Speaker 1: to do it? Well? Usually when I say bet, okay,
- 23:19Speaker 1: it's because I know something fit to pop off. Bet. Bet,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I bet I'm coming over there. I bet you won't bet. Huh. Yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 1: that's what it means. But if he said it's no intention,
- 23:33Speaker 1: then you have to find a way in your world
- 23:37Speaker 1: to believe that. But what is the DM's fault? Exactly? No,
- 23:44Speaker 1: these people with just social media? Man, what y'all doing
- 23:47Speaker 1: with it? I bet her? Bet? Yeah, she's eleven years older.
- 23:54Speaker 1: That's a good way to say. No. Yeah, a creative
- 23:59Speaker 1: you're creating, all right. So you think he's gonna he's
- 24:05Speaker 1: gonna do it with the older woman, Well, she told him,
- 24:10Speaker 1: you need to experience an older woman, he said. Bet.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I felt that way when I was young too. I
- 24:15Speaker 1: felt I should experience an older woman. Everybody feels that
- 24:19Speaker 1: way to get the experience. Yeah, then when you get older,
- 24:25Speaker 1: you're older, you think you should experience a younger woman.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You're always lying to yourself. A man is constantly in
- 24:37Speaker 1: a lie with hisself. All right, Here we go, moving
- 24:43Speaker 1: on to Alexis in Harlem. Alexis writes, to my five
- 24:46Speaker 1: year old daughter grabbed my face and pressed her tiny
- 24:50Speaker 1: little lips on mine and moaned. I asked her what
- 24:54Speaker 1: she was doing, and she said her daddy kissed her
- 24:56Speaker 1: aunt my sister like that. My husband called our child
- 25:01Speaker 1: a liar? Who's really that lying? Hell yeah, that little
- 25:08Speaker 1: baby lying? Yeah yeah, a little baby whom busted his head.
- 25:24Speaker 1: We'll look at that from where daddy kids Auntie? What baby?
- 25:32Speaker 1: You baby? She lying? That's what he said. What her
- 25:36Speaker 1: husband said his child? Yeah, hell yeah, he got to
- 25:39Speaker 1: say that. That's amazing. Where you get that from daddy?
- 25:48Speaker 1: When he kills Auntie right now, she gonna get a
- 25:51Speaker 1: whooping put out time of the truth. That child your
- 25:59Speaker 1: hands on. No, I can't spankle for that. No, you
- 26:04Speaker 1: can't spank your child because you stupid. Right. Yeah. It's
- 26:16Speaker 1: like when I was cussing around my grandson and I
- 26:19Speaker 1: wasn't posed to it. He was in the high chair,
- 26:21Speaker 1: and uh, Mordred came in the room and he said,
- 26:24Speaker 1: Papa mo faul. What I looked at him? I said, look,
- 26:31Speaker 1: black uncle Tom, what did you ask? In't here telling
- 26:35Speaker 1: his fault. But I was on the phone talking to
- 26:37Speaker 1: one of my boys, and he heard me cussing, and
- 26:40Speaker 1: he was just eating his little crackers. And when Mordre
- 26:42Speaker 1: came in the room, she said, he said, Papa mo faul.
- 26:47Speaker 1: But he couldn't say it, but he's trying to say
- 26:49Speaker 1: Papa said mother and you know, but all he got
- 26:53Speaker 1: out was mo faul. So that's what I realized. He
- 26:55Speaker 1: was uncle Tom and ahead him stop taking him place.
- 26:59Speaker 1: You didn't say he's lying. No, I just looked at
- 27:02Speaker 1: him and tried to get up. She says, Steve, Steve,
- 27:04Speaker 1: where did he get that from? Baby? You know you
- 27:13Speaker 1: see it at all? All right? Moving on to last one,
- 27:21Speaker 1: Steve Sonia in Texas. Sonia says, I'm married to a
- 27:25Speaker 1: man that has a grooming schedule better than mine. And
- 27:28Speaker 1: when he told me he couldn't move a box in
- 27:30Speaker 1: the garage because he might damage his nails, I used
- 27:33Speaker 1: an app on my phone to get two guys to
- 27:37Speaker 1: help me clean the garage. My husband didn't approve. But
- 27:40Speaker 1: what am I supposed to do if he's slacking off?
- 27:45Speaker 1: This is husband? This is her husband? Uh huh, yeah, yes,
- 27:49Speaker 1: she's married to you married him. He can't move a
- 27:53Speaker 1: box because it'll mess up his nails? Is manicure? Yeah? No,
- 27:57Speaker 1: that's all that's that's that's what you call tendencies. He
- 28:01Speaker 1: ain't got no gloves, No, no, I don't give a

- 28:09Speaker 1: because it'll mess up your nails. And what do you
- 28:14Speaker 1: mean by tendencies? Tendencies? He has tendencies, that's all that is.
- 28:20Speaker 1: He has tendencies that may not be pertaining to be
- 28:25Speaker 1: in just a full time hud tends no explanation. Everybody
- 28:28Speaker 1: know to him tendencies? Do they Okay? Yeah, do they? Yes,
- 28:33Speaker 1: they do. I'm just at making sure he got tendencies. Okay,

- 30:50Speaker 1: city this past weekend and declared may second to be
- 30:53Speaker 1: Megan the Stallion Day. I love it, Megan posted on
- 30:56Speaker 1: his man. Uh huh, she said, come home real quick
- 31:02Speaker 1: to get the key to the city. And in honor

- 31:10Speaker 1: Megan the Stallion Day in Houston, Texas. Thank you Mayor's
- 31:14Speaker 1: Sylvester Turner for honoring me today and I will continue
- 31:18Speaker 1: to give back to the city that made me who
- 31:21Speaker 1: I am today hashtag htown. In December, you all remember
- 31:25Speaker 1: that May graduated from Texas Southern University in Houston. She
- 31:29Speaker 1: received her bachelor's degree in health administration. Following the ceremony,
- 31:33Speaker 1: t AS she established a scholarship fund in her name,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Megan doing Big Things where Megan gives back big and
- 31:41Speaker 1: good for her third war Texas girl, that's all right,
- 31:47Speaker 1: go ahead, Uh huh, I know the same people, jun Well, Megan,
- 31:51Speaker 1: the only one got in a war from Sylvester Turner.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I got one too. Yeah, what's good for our foundation? Girl?
- 31:58Speaker 1: You know I'm big and Houston with this signal SA
- 32:00Speaker 1: me and make it both got subst turn I mean
- 32:02Speaker 1: that's cool, you know, I mean, I'm glad she finally
- 32:05Speaker 1: got here. How was here? You want some shots. I mean,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I'm just saying that. I mean, hey, another famous Houstonian
- 32:18Speaker 1: is in the news as well, along with a beautiful
- 32:20Speaker 1: mommy to be. Beyonce and Rihanna are reportedly named as
- 32:25Speaker 1: investors in death Tree that say French ready to wear
- 32:29Speaker 1: and accessories company. It is based in Paris. Deastry launched
- 32:34Speaker 1: back in twenty sixteen and offers pieces that are essential
- 32:38Speaker 1: and unique with graphic charm. Deastry aims to open its
- 32:42Speaker 1: first freestanding stories, reaching into several markets. The budding fashion
- 32:46Speaker 1: brand has also garnered support from Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon,
- 32:50Speaker 1: and just Sell Bunching, among others. All of these are
- 32:54Speaker 1: strong female businesswomen, and we salute them. Nice. Yeah, really
- 33:01Speaker 1: really nice. I don't know who all else you said,
- 33:03Speaker 1: but you said Rihanna and Beyonce. You pretty much gonna.
- 33:06Speaker 1: You shouldn't kill the story right there? Okay, yes, but Steve,
- 33:15Speaker 1: can we shout out Lorie Harvey met Gala gallag flies,
- 33:21Speaker 1: little girl on that carpet to her dad. I'm telling you, boy,
- 33:25Speaker 1: the little Laurie was not playing with him. Add on
- 33:27Speaker 1: a little Michael Kors, you know, yeah, Michael Kors and
- 33:32Speaker 1: had a collaboration and stuff. Really, you know, she really
- 33:36Speaker 1: finding her niche. You know. Now, does she come to
- 33:39Speaker 1: you for advice, Steve very little, very little, you know,
- 33:44Speaker 1: not all the time, but you know, probably twice a year,
- 33:48Speaker 1: you know a year, I mean twice a year for
- 33:51Speaker 1: for real father daughter talk, you know that those type
- 33:55Speaker 1: of talks. You know, yeah, you know, but she listens, Lord,
- 33:59Speaker 1: Lord's different though, she listens different, like she don't say much.
- 34:02Speaker 1: She had just come to you kind of like hint
- 34:04Speaker 1: around the problem. Then if you guess what it is,
- 34:07Speaker 1: then she'll let you talk about it. But she don't
- 34:09Speaker 1: say much, you know, because she know I'm gonna just
- 34:12Speaker 1: vent and say what I got to say. I'm gonna
- 34:14Speaker 1: make it known, and she'll go off and then she'll
- 34:17Speaker 1: do it. Though she will do it well pretty much.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So I've seen her do some stuff that I wanted
- 34:25Speaker 1: her to do and she did well. But she's making
- 34:26Speaker 1: some smart decisions on her own right now, which is
- 34:30Speaker 1: really making us really proud. You know, she's making some
- 34:33Speaker 1: really really smart She's a good business lady and she's
- 34:36Speaker 1: smart and she works hard. She works hard. Good that's
- 34:41Speaker 1: beauty and braids go Lorie Hard great combo right there. Well,
- 34:47Speaker 1: as we told you yesterday. In the case of Black
- 34:49Speaker 1: China versus a Kardashian Jenner family, the jury found members
- 34:53Speaker 1: of a Kardashian Jenner family not guilty of defaming Rob
- 34:56Speaker 1: Kardashian's fiance, Black China and using their influence to get
- 35:00Speaker 1: her reality show canceled in two thousand and sixteen. So
- 35:05Speaker 1: this ruling closed out a one hundred million dollars lawsuit
- 35:08Speaker 1: brought on by Black China, with a win for the Kardashians.
- 35:12Speaker 1: While the jury found the Kardashian's behavior at times aligned
- 35:16Speaker 1: with some of China's claims towards them, it determined their
- 35:19Speaker 1: actions did not affect the longevity of China's reality show
- 35:23Speaker 1: or her career overall. So there you go. So and
- 35:28Speaker 1: and China said she will appeal. Black China said, her
- 35:31Speaker 1: lawyer said she will appeal, wasting her damn time with
- 35:35Speaker 1: the appeal. With three calls on this one, then yeah,
- 35:41Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 35:44Speaker 1: after Tommy has a question for you uncle Steve. Right
- 35:47Speaker 1: after this you're listening show, all right, Tommy, you have
- 35:53Speaker 1: a question for your uncle, What if I do, I do, okay, uncle,
- 35:56Speaker 1: Now we got these three beautiful ladies here, we got
- 35:58Speaker 1: surely call on na. But they checking me on how
- 36:01Speaker 1: I talk on TV. And I want to make sure
- 36:04Speaker 1: that I'm doing something right now. You letting me know
- 36:06Speaker 1: what you think? Is it galla or is it gala? Now?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Which one is? I think it's either one, depending on
- 36:12Speaker 1: if you to drink, if you're thirsty or not. You know,
- 36:16Speaker 1: if you're thirsty, is galla? If you don't have something
- 36:19Speaker 1: to drink? Is gala? Okay? Okay gala? Or it's it's
- 36:27Speaker 1: it's several words that go like that, you know, I mean,
- 36:30Speaker 1: you know, just why why are they on you about?
- 36:32Speaker 1: They own me about certain words I say, not that
- 36:35Speaker 1: phrases are all words interposed to what is wrong with
- 36:38Speaker 1: the interposed to? Is this something wrong with that? To you?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Not at all interposed to any interposed what they'd be thinking? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 1: we get up out of him. See you know, thank you,
- 36:51Speaker 1: thank you. I knew I wasn't a wrong with me? Okay?
- 36:53Speaker 1: Is it himself or his self? Oh my god? Is
- 36:57Speaker 1: it what himself or his self? Well, it depends on
- 37:02Speaker 1: what you're doing. You know, he did it to his
- 37:03Speaker 1: self is good. And then you know, if you around
- 37:08Speaker 1: some other people, you know, I know, I know, I know,
- 37:11Speaker 1: he'd better not bring himself back up here. No down himself. No,
- 37:18Speaker 1: that's that's really not a word we use. But I
- 37:20Speaker 1: bet he'd better not bring himself up here, no more
- 37:23Speaker 1: not bringing himself. See if he doing it, if he
- 37:25Speaker 1: doing it to him his self, deness him. If we're
- 37:30Speaker 1: talking about him, then his self is a Carcasian or Caucasian.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Say it again, carcasion or car. I think that's white
- 37:47Speaker 1: people with cars. What you just tell me? What you think?
- 37:54Speaker 1: Say it again? Is a Carcasian or caucade. Well, that depends,
- 38:02Speaker 1: you know, if you're mad, it's Caucasian, because yeah, if
- 38:09Speaker 1: you're mad, well, if it's mad, it's not even that.
- 38:15Speaker 1: But if you have to pick a two, it's Caucasian.
- 38:17Speaker 1: If you're mad, it's Caucasian. If you read, Okay, last
- 38:22Speaker 1: thing they saying, you can't say that whole nuther whold nub,
- 38:29Speaker 1: whole nother situation, dog, dog dog, that's a whole nother episode.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I don't even know why we're talking about this here
- 38:35Speaker 1: right now. You know we told you know, you know
- 38:40Speaker 1: we actually talking about a whole noother time. So I
- 38:42Speaker 1: only want you bring it up for now because we
- 38:44Speaker 1: talk about a whole another time, and you don't tell
- 38:46Speaker 1: me you like, look, man, don't listen to them. Don't
- 38:49Speaker 1: listen to them, dog do you? But listen to you?
- 38:55Speaker 1: It is I'd be right a lot of times. Sure
- 39:01Speaker 1: you do be coming up in thirty four minutes after
- 39:05Speaker 1: the hour. Oh god, we'll have more of the signor show? Right?
- 39:09Speaker 1: You always like this, you're listening to show. A school
- 39:16Speaker 1: bus driver unleashes his anger toward a student who reportedly
- 39:20Speaker 1: attacked him and spit on him while he was driving.
- 39:23Speaker 1: The incident took places past Friday, when seventy two year
- 39:26Speaker 1: old bus driver Jerome McNabb was finishing his bus route.
- 39:30Speaker 1: The student reportedly spit on McNabb, kicked him, and threw

- 39:45Speaker 1: and m F. McNabb was later arrested that day for
- 39:49Speaker 1: the assault, and the Saint Helena School District in Louisiana

- 43:32Speaker 1: you be hide of the bus. Different when you get
- 43:33Speaker 1: on that nap everybody hands to themself like out the windows.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Don't do that. He gonna be my daddy. My daddy
- 43:41Speaker 1: would have beat my butt again when I got home.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Dare you how? Yes? You did what the mister McNair boy? Yeah, man,
- 43:50Speaker 1: my daddy would have killed me man. Yeah. Yeah, it's
- 43:54Speaker 1: different times, different times, for sure, different times. Yeah, all right,
- 43:59Speaker 1: thank you. Is coming up next to is the Nephew
- 44:01Speaker 1: and the prank phone call right after this you're listening
- 44:06Speaker 1: show coming up at about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:11Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject is on
- 44:15Speaker 1: campus clowning. But right now it is time for the
- 44:19Speaker 1: prank phone call. What's you got, Tommy? What's you got?
- 44:22Speaker 1: Let me see what I got here, Shirley Frank Archives,
- 44:28Speaker 1: All right, here we have. God is not through with you,
- 44:35Speaker 1: but we are cat dog Hood. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 44:43Speaker 1: to reach our sister Takara. This is Brother Brinkley from
- 44:48Speaker 1: the church. How are you doing? Oh? Hey, how is it?
- 44:52Speaker 1: It's I'm at work? Can I call you back? Well?
- 44:57Speaker 1: This is this is kind of urgent. I've called you
- 45:00Speaker 1: your house phone and I didn't get an answer, and
- 45:02Speaker 1: I had this other number on file, so I wanted
- 45:04Speaker 1: to reach out to you. But what I won't take long,
- 45:06Speaker 1: but it really is a hurt. All right, Well, that
- 45:09Speaker 1: urgent matter, if you don't mind, all right, hold on,
- 45:11Speaker 1: hold on, let me step away from our tubercle hold on, hello, hello, yeah, okay,
- 45:19Speaker 1: so what's setually? Okay, we have a bit of a
- 45:24Speaker 1: problem here and we're gonna try to We're trying to
- 45:27Speaker 1: clean up a lot of things here at the church.
- 45:30Speaker 1: You know, I hate to be the one to bring
- 45:31Speaker 1: you some bad news. Let me just start by by
- 45:36Speaker 1: saying this. God might not be through with you, but
- 45:39Speaker 1: we are here at the church. It has been brought
- 45:42Speaker 1: to our tension, Sister Carr that you guys are halfway
- 45:46Speaker 1: coming to church. You you you might come once once
- 45:49Speaker 1: out of a month. You're not tithing as we expected.
- 45:53Speaker 1: You know, the church can't really depend on you. Um,
- 45:56Speaker 1: it's you. You got you know, you bring your kids.
- 45:59Speaker 1: I think your brother comes to the church, but everybody
- 46:01Speaker 1: is coming every now and then. We cannot depend on
- 46:05Speaker 1: you all to be the members and have the expectation
- 46:09Speaker 1: of what we're trying to. Dodd say, you say your name, yes,
- 46:16Speaker 1: and you work, you work under the Dacian. I'm sorry,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I've never heard of you before. I have been officiated
- 46:24Speaker 1: by the pastor as I'm over actually over the finance,
- 46:28Speaker 1: and we're going through all of the books and looking
- 46:30Speaker 1: at all of the numbers of the of the members
- 46:32Speaker 1: of the church, the directory, and we're noticing what people
- 46:35Speaker 1: are paying tide, what people are fans I, who's coming
- 46:38Speaker 1: to church, who's participating in different and different UH ministries
- 46:43Speaker 1: and whatnot. And Sister Dakar, I got I have to
- 46:46Speaker 1: be honest with you. You you am maybe once every
- 46:49Speaker 1: one of the mind. We might see you might not
- 46:51Speaker 1: see you, you know, and like I said, God may
- 46:54Speaker 1: not be through with you, but we are. Who can
- 46:57Speaker 1: you been saying that? Listen, why I don't understand, like
- 47:03Speaker 1: y'all monitoring my my my church going like I can't,
- 47:07Speaker 1: I can't, I can't. I have to go every single week.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I mean when I came, Why are you absent so
- 47:13Speaker 1: much at the church explaining that, I mean, I have
- 47:17Speaker 1: three kids, you know, I mean I have two jobs.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Two times I don't I mean, I still pray. I
- 47:24Speaker 1: don't understand how a church can are you y'all stir
- 47:28Speaker 1: you got two jobs, but we're not getting tired, Like
- 47:30Speaker 1: you got two jobs. You're not tired, and like you
- 47:33Speaker 1: got two jobs because I can't afford you Just you
- 47:36Speaker 1: just said I got two jobs. That's what you just said,
- 47:39Speaker 1: and that those two jobs are in supporting my chids.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I mean I can't support the church and my kids.
- 47:44Speaker 1: It's the same term. I can't do both. I mean
- 47:47Speaker 1: I I give when I can. Let me ask you something.
- 47:51Speaker 1: What are you making on that other job? Are you? Is?
- 47:55Speaker 1: Are you really? You? Really? You? Really? I didn't know
- 47:59Speaker 1: the church? God is this deep with you really asking
- 48:03Speaker 1: me how much I make? And my fucking y'all that
- 48:06Speaker 1: I cheat to support my kids. Cool. Now, I'm gonna
- 48:12Speaker 1: say this to you again. God may not be through
- 48:15Speaker 1: with you, but we are thank you. You are not
- 48:19Speaker 1: gonna pay your tides. If you're not gonna come to
- 48:22Speaker 1: work on a consistent basis, then what what do you benefit?
- 48:27Speaker 1: The church? Is that what the church is about? This
- 48:29Speaker 1: can be I'm gonna say this. I'm gonna say this
- 48:32Speaker 1: to you. You Let me tell you what the church
- 48:35Speaker 1: is all about? The churches? Hey? And you say with
- 48:38Speaker 1: you again one more time? I'm serious. No, I'm gonna
- 48:42Speaker 1: tell you this you're talking about? This? Is that what
- 48:44Speaker 1: the church is about? Let me tell you what the
- 48:45Speaker 1: church is. The church is a hospital for criptal souls.
- 48:50Speaker 1: You understand that that's what Okay, that's what the church is.
- 48:54Speaker 1: But when when we have the souls that are coming
- 48:56Speaker 1: in to be saved, we are doing our job. And
- 49:01Speaker 1: guess what those people that are coming and you know
- 49:03Speaker 1: what they're doing. They're tithing. That's what they're doing. They're
- 49:06Speaker 1: tithing you, sister Dakara, and I'm sure your soul it's crippled.
- 49:11Speaker 1: You're not coming and you're not tithing. You may give
- 49:15Speaker 1: us a little something when you show up if you
- 49:17Speaker 1: show up. Am I right wrong? M okay? Hold? Let
- 49:22Speaker 1: me get one thing straight. This is what you called
- 49:24Speaker 1: me for in the middle of my work day to
- 49:28Speaker 1: tell me that you're kicking me out the church because
- 49:31Speaker 1: I don't give enough money to the church while I'm
- 49:34Speaker 1: at my job that I can barely afford to pay
- 49:38Speaker 1: my bills with. Not a fact, I don't even know
- 49:41Speaker 1: who you are. I've never met you in my life,
- 49:44Speaker 1: and I don't even know what this church. You know?
- 49:47Speaker 1: This church. I hate to say it, but if that's
- 49:49Speaker 1: what the church is about, you had the nerve to
- 49:52Speaker 1: call me. I'm flying people. I'm okay, na na na na?
- 49:59Speaker 1: Let me say something. Are you being very Unchristian like, nah,
- 50:03Speaker 1: just the car. You're gonna watch you Johne and your
- 50:06Speaker 1: language him, this is not Christian? Like, well we do
- 50:10Speaker 1: you do? You know? Brother Duwayne? Isn't that your brothers? Okay?
- 50:14Speaker 1: And my brother Duwayne is who told me to call you?
- 50:19Speaker 1: Really my brother? So so what is this about? Hum? Whatever?
- 50:25Speaker 1: I don't know. What is your name? My name is
- 50:27Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your brother
- 50:31Speaker 1: Duwayne got me to prank phone call you. No, Oh
- 50:43Speaker 1: my gosh, yo, he's about to get me fire you
- 50:46Speaker 1: from this job. I'm a lobby screaming. He's looking at me.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Oh you all right? Yeah? What's up? No? Oh no, normal?
- 51:02Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god. My heart is racing.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Tell me it's the car. What is the baddest and
- 51:09Speaker 1: I mean the baddest radio show in the land, Steve
- 51:13Speaker 1: Harvey me the doors of the church open, please, there

- 53:50Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew, subject on
- 53:54Speaker 1: campus clowning. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a single mother of
- 53:58Speaker 1: an honor student that got full right scholarship to a
- 54:01Speaker 1: predominantly white college in the Northeast. We're Southern nursed and
- 54:05Speaker 1: he was raised with Southern manners. He moved into the
- 54:09Speaker 1: dorms and found out he had a black roommate, and
- 54:11Speaker 1: he was excited. His roommate is a Northeasterner and he's
- 54:15Speaker 1: a bit rough around the edges. Within two months, my
- 54:19Speaker 1: son had used my credit card to buy new clothes
- 54:22Speaker 1: and he no longer said yes, ma'am when we talked.
- 54:25Speaker 1: He said that was slave talk and he wasn't with that.
- 54:29Speaker 1: After four months on campus, I got a call from
- 54:32Speaker 1: the hall director at his dorm because he and his
- 54:35Speaker 1: roommate had been smoking weeds. He said it was the
- 54:38Speaker 1: first time trying it, and he said he couldn't promise
- 54:41Speaker 1: that he wouldn't do it again. He also told me
- 54:44Speaker 1: that he'd met a female and she was mixed. I
- 54:47Speaker 1: told him to send me a picture, and he sent
- 54:49Speaker 1: us selfie and she looked all white. To me, He's
- 54:53Speaker 1: gotten in trouble for this girl being in his room
- 54:55Speaker 1: after curfew, and all I can do is tell him
- 54:58Speaker 1: to be careful him prepare my son for this. But
- 55:02Speaker 1: his street smart roommate is more than happy to pick
- 55:04Speaker 1: up the slack for me, usually in the background on
- 55:09Speaker 1: the phone, talking loudly and using profanity while I'm trying
- 55:13Speaker 1: to talk to my son. Even though I felt my
- 55:16Speaker 1: son didn't deserve it. Yet, his father decided he could
- 55:20Speaker 1: have his car on campus. Two days after he got it,
- 55:23Speaker 1: he and the girl were caught having sex in the car.
- 55:27Speaker 1: I let his father handle that, and all I did
- 55:29Speaker 1: was pray for him. He is on campus clowning, and
- 55:33Speaker 1: I don't know what to do. He's not the young
- 55:35Speaker 1: man I raised. His father has told me it will
- 55:38Speaker 1: all be fine as long as our son's grades don't drop.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Is this normal or should I pop up often to
- 55:44Speaker 1: see what he's up to. It seems to me, Mom,
- 55:49Speaker 1: one of the problems you're having is the fact that
- 55:51Speaker 1: he's from the South and he's up north. Naturally, Yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 1: you should worry about him. You didn't raise him this way.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I understand your concern. I think you did a great
- 56:00Speaker 1: job as a mom and raise your son to the
- 56:02Speaker 1: best of your ability. I mean, there are no manuals,
- 56:04Speaker 1: no instructions on having kids and you know, raising them.
- 56:08Speaker 1: We just do the best we can, and most of
- 56:10Speaker 1: the time we bring them up in the way we
- 56:12Speaker 1: were brought up, or you know, sometimes even the opposite,
- 56:15Speaker 1: But most of the time we raised our kids like
- 56:17Speaker 1: we were raised, and we all want better for our kids.
- 56:21Speaker 1: And you did that. I mean, he's an honor student
- 56:23Speaker 1: with a full right scholarship. Very impressive. Again, I think
- 56:27Speaker 1: you've done a great job. Mom. You're a praying mother,
- 56:30Speaker 1: So keep doing what you're doing as far as that's concerned.
- 56:33Speaker 1: And you've got to stop worrying. I mean, yeah, he's
- 56:36Speaker 1: wildent at school right now with this girl and in
- 56:39Speaker 1: the car that his father gave him having sex. And
- 56:42Speaker 1: you know, what you don't want is for the school
- 56:44Speaker 1: to make any more phone calls. You don't want your
- 56:46Speaker 1: son to lose a scholarship. You don't want your son,
- 56:49Speaker 1: you know, for its greats to drop in all of that. So, yeah,
- 56:52Speaker 1: he does need supervision, but you know that's what kids
- 56:55Speaker 1: do when they go to college. You know, they don't
- 56:58Speaker 1: have that supervision, so they do. While I think it
- 57:01Speaker 1: would help in this situation if his father were more involved.
- 57:05Speaker 1: His father seems to think, oh, it's gonna all be fine,
- 57:09Speaker 1: But I do think that his father should have more
- 57:11Speaker 1: of a presence. You know, maybe I don't know how
- 57:14Speaker 1: he was throughout his life. I see now that he
- 57:17Speaker 1: gave him a car to go to school, but I
- 57:19Speaker 1: think that would help if he If you guys had
- 57:21Speaker 1: to sit down with your son and try to talk
- 57:24Speaker 1: to him and tell him what's at stake, you know,
- 57:26Speaker 1: what he could possibly lose. Maybe he'll listen and, you know,
- 57:31Speaker 1: get it together. I think you should talk to your
- 57:34Speaker 1: ex husband or your baby daddy, your son's father about this,
- 57:38Speaker 1: because you definitely don't want any more calls from school
- 57:40Speaker 1: or your son to lose a scholarship because he's up
- 57:43Speaker 1: in the north wild and Steve, this is a common problem. Yeah,
- 57:53Speaker 1: this is a common letter. This is a common situation.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Take all the surprise out for those of you that
- 58:03Speaker 1: are about to send children to college. Take all the
- 58:06Speaker 1: surprise out. Oh my god, how could he you know?
- 58:09Speaker 1: This is he from the south. He then went up
- 58:11Speaker 1: to the northeast. Yeah, I don't give a damn. My
- 58:14Speaker 1: college was forty miles from my house. Didn't have a
- 58:20Speaker 1: damn thing to do when hours of southern and went
- 58:24Speaker 1: up north, I went straight bok why forty miles from
- 58:34Speaker 1: my damn house with all white roommates to the point
- 58:40Speaker 1: where after the two weeks was over, they was down
- 58:43Speaker 1: there in line. I walked past. I saw him all
- 58:45Speaker 1: in lines. Hey man, what y'all doing? None here? He
- 58:47Speaker 1: looked all shame and stuff. They was in the damn
- 58:49Speaker 1: room changed line. I ain't understand that way. I was
- 58:54Speaker 1: too much for them. The black dude was down there
- 58:58Speaker 1: being black. Somebody told me, when you go to Kent State,
- 59:02Speaker 1: you're gonna have these three white roommates, it's gonna be
- 59:04Speaker 1: culture shock for who it me, So lady, I'm sorry.
- 59:13Speaker 1: You know he went to an all white university up north,
- 59:16Speaker 1: and he's got excited when he found out his roommate
- 59:19Speaker 1: was black. Great, he's a bit rough around the edges,
- 59:23Speaker 1: you hood boy. Within two months, when my son had
- 59:26Speaker 1: used my credit card to buy new clothes and he
- 59:29Speaker 1: no longer said yes, ma'am when we talked, he said
- 59:32Speaker 1: that was slave talk and he wasn't with that. That
- 59:37Speaker 1: would have gotten my lips swoll up to the size
- 59:40Speaker 1: of my head. I said, yes, ma'am to my mama
- 59:44Speaker 1: to she passed. I don't know where slave talk came from.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Just the way this way, you're gonna talk to your
- 59:50Speaker 1: mama and you call the slave talk or whatever you
- 59:53Speaker 1: want to, but that's why we're doing it. So just
- 59:55Speaker 1: you asked me to get the slave that's what. Don't
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: don't come in here with that mess. Late. We come
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: back our straight in this whole let out very easy,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: all right, Steve, thank you. Coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, Part two of Steve's response to
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the letter for today, on campus clowning. We'll be back
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is on campus clowning.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: This lady's upset because she didn't sent her son to
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: college up north, all white university or full ride scholarship.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: He's an honor student. He gets excited because he has
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a black roommate, and then he walked in and the
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: black roommate has been a bad influence on him. So
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you think you think it's because you from the south
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: and you didn't send him up north. Like I said,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I was forty miles from my house and the same
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: thing happened to hire and they ain't had nothing. I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: went to college up north and wasn't northern or from
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the south. So i'm I am this letter. But you
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: know he said, you said, when y'all talk, he don't
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: say us, yes, ma'am no more because he said that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: slave talking hen with that, Well, okay, I don't know
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: who you think paying for all this hell, but your
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: ass better get the slave. After four months on campus,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I got a call from the hall director in his
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: dorm because he and his roommate had been smoking weed.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Oh lord, Now he said it was his first time.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: But then he also told you he can't promise you
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: he ain't gonna do it again. So now you look,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: boy up, they're smoking weed. A lot of people smoke weed.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: That's coming. Mostly everybody in my college smoked it. Yeah,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: it's all right, he'll be all right. Okay, So now
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: he's smoking weed, and he finished smoking again. He also
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: told you that he met a female. She was mixed.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: You told him to send you a picture. He sent yourselfie.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: She looked all white to me. It's because she is.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: She's white, mixed up with the black dude, which is
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: your son. That's what he meant by mixed. She has
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: mixed feelings about race. That's what he meant about mix.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: That's okay. He's dating the white girl. That ain't no
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: big deal. He's gotten in trouble for this girl being
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: in his room aufter kirkfew and all I can do
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: is tell him to be careful. Yes, ma'am, that's all
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: you could tell it. I didn't prepare my son for this,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: but his street street smart roommate is more than happy
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: to pick up the slack for me. Well, let's thank
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: god for the roommate. Then, see you're mad at the roommate.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: But you just said he picked up the slack because
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: you didn't prepare your son for none of this. Matter
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: of fact, you sheltered him, and thus the problem we have.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: You have a shelter child that that went to college
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: and now he gets to do like he wanted to do.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You can not shelter these children, folks, because when you
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: let him out the gate, when you do open the gate,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: the ass is gone. You ain't gonna be able to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: find him in the field when you keep him locked in.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I had a partner named Butch Boy. When he got
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: to college, he was everything whoa This boy wasn't man,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: he was only he was the central statement to Kent State,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: they're going to see him. Was wonderful. Then he went
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: to Ohio State. I just love going to see this boy.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: He has so much stuff going on. The girls that
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: was in his room. I just was just thanking the
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Lord for him. Anyway, He's usually on the background of
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: his phone talking loudly and using profanity while I'm trying
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to talk to my son. This is the roommate. And
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: even though I felt my son didn't deserve it, yet
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: his father decided he could have his car on campus.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: That was a mistake. Two days after he got it,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: he and the girl were called having sex in the car. Well, okay,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: what did you think he was gonna do with the car? See,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: in college, it ain't just a car. It ain't just transportation.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: It's a motor in rvy, it's a motor d it's lodging,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: it's everything. I let his father handle that, and all
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I did was pray for him. There you go, he's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: on campus clowning, and I don't know what to do.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: This is not the young man I raised. It is
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: it is a young man you raised. Except you raised
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: him and you sheltered him. So now this is what
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: this is what you This is the result of the sheltering. See,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: when you ain't there to watch him, he get to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: do what he want to do. So he'd been thinking
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: all this stuff while he was in high school. He
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: just got a chance to do it now, and he
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: like white girls too. He knew that back in high school.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He went right on up there, an't got anymore. Ain't
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that. Let that boy leave hill. Gonna
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: be all right? Huh. His father has told me to
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: all be fine as long as our son's grave. Don't drop.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: That's where the daddy wrong, because you don't think you're
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: grave friend to take a drop. You're saying the mistaken
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: about this right there, you're all out here having sex
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: in a oh, smoking weed. All this is too new
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: to you. You don't even know how. He don't even
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: know how to place this stuff in the proper order.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: He having sex, He got breaking curfew, smoking weed, cussing
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: here on like slave talk. No more, you ain't yes,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: ma'am at first report callee, y'all got could you send
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: it to me? Because I promise you he ain't never
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: little Steve Harvey. Yeah, it's gonna be bad. It's gonna
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: be bad for a minute. Then he gonna get himself
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: together when he sees his future slipping out the window.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: So he gonna go through this phase. He gonna get
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: in a little bit of trouble. It might even get
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: on academic pro but it's hard to go from honor
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: roll to academic pro It's very easy for me. I
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: was a C student in high school. Immediately went to
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a very low D in college. Immediately, don't do that.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Immediately I went to a very low D in college.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Fought like a dog. Well, I'm just just screw this
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: letter here. Yeah, Tank you Sherley College. Who you got
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: to get that academic probation put on you for? You
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: make the jests, you realize you ain't coming back. They
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: put it on me so many times. Finally they just
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: send a letter to the house say hey man, please
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: please don't bring your head all right, thank you. Please
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: leave your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Facebook at Steve Harvey FM, and check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand as well. Now, coming up next
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: it is Junior and Sports Talk. Right after this, you're
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: listening to Dave Harvey Morning Show time now for Junior
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: and Sports Talk Junior with you got okay, Shirley. But
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: let me remind everybody that in thirty days, June fourth
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: is going down the kiers Hope five k Fun Walk
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: and fun Run. We'll be having at the Margaret Hunt
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Hell Bridge in Dallas Texas go to Kershope dot Org
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: the fourth year. Thank everybody who comes out. Man, it's
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: such a great event. We got a day party too
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: this year. I love music Day party happening at Zindaga.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: So after the race, go have some fun lists to
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: some great music and hang out for me. So nice. Yeah,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I'm doing this for year. This is gonna be great,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: all right now, NBA last night was let's say the
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Bucks and Celtics Celtics one is tied at won one
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: a series of the Celtics one on nine to eighty six.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: It's pretty much with just a runaway game. Jaylen Brown
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: hit twenty five in the first half and A Tatum
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: has finished with twenty nine. So thirty for Brown, twentyin
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: for Tatum, the Greek Freak twenty eight. Not enough to
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: get it done. But then let's get to the game
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: of the night, the best one I've seen this series.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: It's gonna be a tough one. It's also tied at
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: one apiece. All I know is that the Warriors and
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: the Grizzly series will be the one to watch because
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Johm Rant this boy dropped forty seventh last like was
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: like it wasn't nothing score ring. I'll talk about it
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: at will. Shot going down, working to paint in and out.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I just think he's the next generation of point guard.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: You know, Kurt had a good game twenty seven with
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: twelve and Wiggers with sixteen. It just was One of
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the biggest things to talk about was the loss of
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Gary Payton the second for the Golden State Warriors. Dylan
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Brooks had a flagrant foul two ejected from the game.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: But the crazy part about the play though, carl it
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: and this he was in the air. Gary Payton the
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: second was in the air and from behind, Dylan Brooks
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: swipes at him and he hits us. He is the
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: hardwood and fracture his elbow. That's dirty. So you know,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: everybody said this, he's not a dirty player. That was
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: a dirty play because there's a code they go by
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: while you're playing in the NBA, and you shouldn't really
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: not want to. You know, they were already down eight nothing,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: so this is gonna be their first two points and
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: you found him and he fracts the elbow and now
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: this you don't know what the impact of this cann have.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: That's why everybody is so upset because he may not
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: be able to play ball again. We don't. We don't
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: know he outc this season. He's been in the league.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: You know, we don't know what it is. I mean,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: that's why. Yeah, yeah, Dad, I know, yeah, get me
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: the ball you are you don't get but man, he
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: tied the series at one one. I just found out. Man.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I saw a little boosty at the game last night
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: seeing court side. Nay, little boosting course side. I know
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: what they do. The theme song and the fight song
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: for the Mimphis Grizzlies is from Hustling to flow. Whoop
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that trick you get to the gristleis gase. That's our
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: sports for the Dame. All right, we're gonna look after Yeah,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: great job, Junior. We'll be back with more of the
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this. You're
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Morning Show. Well, the month of
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: May is National Barbecue Month, guys, and the weather is
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: perfect for it right now. What is your favorite thing
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: to grill? Is it ribs? The chicken? Is it burgers?
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: And there's another question. Who's better at grilling? You? Steve?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: You Tommy? But Junior do you barbecue at your play? Hey? Nah?
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I can't barbecue here. You know the codes that's against
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: this building. Five. But be on be on five if
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: I get the barbecue in here. None not as our apartment,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you know, I mean five car be out here. I'm
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: on the third floor. That's ceiling gonna be full of smoke.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: I can't do nothing. Nah, all right, come on, get grilled? Recently?
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Did the real reason? Yeah? You know, surely don't even
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: ask that question. Okay, just let us talk about grilling
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: is don't even do that? Well, both grill and Tommy cooks.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: We know that I don't have the high end grills
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: he has. He got grills I didn't even know existed.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I'm old skills, you guys, Yeah, does girl for you? Well?
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Does it grill for me? Who's no? Does the high
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: end grill that you mentioned? It's gonna help skills to grill?
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you gotta have some good equipment,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: you know. Okay, you ain't smoking on the weather with
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: the wheels on it, with the two back wheels and
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: the two stick legs and smoke some good ribs on
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: that though. That? Okay, Well, good luck. I don't know
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: how you controlling the damn heat. Good luck? Special yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I want to hear it. The rub. The season is.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: My secret is the temperature. Okay, that's my secret. Is
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the temperat really hot, not really hot, about two seventy five.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: What you're talking about at max two seventy five. I
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: don't let it get up to three two eighty. I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: try to back it down a little bit. Two seventy five,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: two fifty. And what are we grilling? Are we grilling?
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I do everything, Shirley, I'm smoking chickens. I'm doing ribs. Yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: no old chickens. Quotas beef for pork, red both, it's
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: be no. Nobody really food with beef that here, with
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: this big John hard as tough as piece of meat,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: don't him with all this him more. Once you put
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: pork on an open fire with charcoal, it loses all
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: pork properties. It is no longer pork. I'm telling you, baby,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: listen to me. Once you take a slab of pork reels,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: put them on a grill, yes, okay, with charcoal at
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: a certain temperature for a certain amount of time, it
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: loses all pork properties and becomes a separate meat item
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: called bobby Quobby. Well that barbecue, I said, it's not.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: It's Bobbie que chirl. It's not barn b que Barbie
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: like a white girl Barbie. No, it's Bobby bobb y
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: dash que Bobby. That's hot. I Bobby q b o
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: b b y dash qute. That's what I'm out here
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: doing now. If y'all here, Barbie que in, i'd hit
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: roasting corn and all that. Get your ass off my grill.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: You got all this stuff on, these skewers and stuff.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Get your ass all for my grill. And beef realms
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: take way too long chery. We don't want to smoke.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: That's that's true. That's true. I ain't out here now.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: We'll smoke a punk. But see it's one hour pup pound.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: If you got a nine pound bone in but you
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: inject it with juice, you rub it, you wrap it
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: it fall. You put it in your smoker at two
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: twenty five, two fifty, and you leave it in there
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: for one hour for every pound, so that's nine hours.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Then you take it out, you take the butt out,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and then you wrap it in fall six times. Yeah,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: that's what I like them. Like that, and then you
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: put it back in there and you do half of
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: that four and a half hours. When you take it out,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you can. You can take some clamps and pull that
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: bone right out. That's a moist butt. Now, that's a
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: that's a moist bois juicy. But no, you gotta Steve
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Twenty minutes after, right after this, you're
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. I think all of
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: us have this fear if we work this shift, this
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: morning shift, over sleeping and being late for work. I don't.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: You don't have that fear. I do. Uh So, So
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: the question is how many alarms do you set in
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the morning to make sure you're on time for work?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I got two? You have two alarms? To Tommy, yeah,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: I have to. You don't have that beer, Steve that
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: if we oversleep, if we see daylight, for us, it's
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: day kid that the other day. I just did it
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the other day. Woke up mad at you guys because
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: you didn't call me. I ain't no since in Russian,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: if you see that daylight, ain't since morning radio. Remain no.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I woke up one time and saw daylight. I knocked
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: the lamps over, and everything sail over the rug. Right,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: So you say, you said to Tommy Carl, you set too.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: What about you, Junior Foe, you set four? Okay, I
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: usually don't set the alarm, but if I do, I
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: only need one. I just wake up. I'm up early anyway.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: But Junior four four, well, you know, well he got sick.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I got it. Yeah, because I gotta chicks. I got
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: all kind of stuff I got to do for you
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: have most Americans set for alarms? Most of them for
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: most Americans. But let's see that people don't like their job.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after we'll play a round
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: of would you rather? Right after this. You're listening to
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Save Harvey Morning Show. It is time now for a
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Would you rather get a
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: tattoo on your neck or go home wearing glitter residue?
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: A tattoo or glitter? Basically, yeah, I'm going home with
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: that glitter residue. Try to work through some things, don't
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: you get glitter? Of yeah? Be no, I can go.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I can say I was down there. Crap place was
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: named the Crab Places. Uh, Michael, another lie here, I
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: can tell him I was playing with the grand kids
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: for I came in now they keeps another lot tattoo
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: on my net. No, we're not doing that, all right,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Moving on to would you rather dive in to twelve
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: feet of icy water or sit in a scalding hot tub?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Don't even ask me? Scalding hot scalding hot tub or
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: twelve feet of icy water? Can I get right back
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: out the water once I get it? You got to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: get out that water. You're gonna die in that, ye
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I After getting that icy water, I can't sit in
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: that scalding There's no way. There's no way I can
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: lower Roscoe down in that hot as water. Any way.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: I'm not gonna deliberately cook my own ass. I'm not
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: gonna do. I'm not gonna deliberately myself all right. Would
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: you rather fly? I'm sorry you say it's actually on
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: like Rolls Roys. It's like Roscoe Russell. That's his name, anyway,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: a high performance vehicle? All right? Would you rather fly
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: eight hours in a middle seat or drive two hours
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: in a thunderstorm? I'm not storm. I'm in that middle
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: seat storm driving the storm. I see y'all when I
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: get there. Then, I'm sorry this lightning and caring. I
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: hope you're being that middle seat and run into the
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: storm that I'm driving that we try to avoid. Yeah,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: now you have to holding on everybody on east side
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: of you. All right? Last one? Would you other have
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: really big front teeth or really big eyes? Shirley, Shirley,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: you got really big front teeth and big ass ass.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Did you write this question yourself? Which war you want
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: to live without? Would you rather do your teeth them? All?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with our last break of
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: the day and we'll have some closing remarks from the

- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Junior said he had one. Yeah, I'm ask you a
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: question of you know, because you have so many businesses own,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: what's the business that you you knew wasn't gonna work
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: when you got into weeks? Like? What business did you
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: had that You're not really proud to say you had
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: that one? Confidence installation? When did you have that? Too
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: many jobs? Twenty five? I knew that one gonna work.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I had a carbon installation company and I couldn't install
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the carbon. I had had an old wine Oh that
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: knew how to do it. When he's asked me with
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: some of the buckets and the new people's rugs, I
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: was sitting there on the first job just looking at him,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: just kicking car, but just buckles all in this people's car.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: But I said, love, I'm this is not going to work. Yeah,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: next question, here's the question, Steve. You know, just like
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: just like Junior said, you know, you have so many jobs,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: You're doing so much, do you ever think about slowing down?
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: You know. I mean for the first time, this is
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: the year I've considered slowing down because I got to
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: him getting older, man and working as hard as it's
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: getting a little bit harder to do it. So I
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: am thinking about cutting back some. I just don't know
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: how I got a funny job though. They actually paid
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: me to to stay. That's that's crazy, that's cool. Yeah,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: every time I talked about leaving, somebody goes, we give
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you this if you stay, all right, then, Yeah, they
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: knew how to get you. Tommy, I got one. What's
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: what's what? Do you have a bucket list? Oh? What's
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: on your bucket list? Movie? Phone full of bucket list?
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Give me three up. I'll give you three of them. Uh.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: To become an investment banker, that's one. Really. Uh yeah,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I know you're surprised about that. That shock. To become
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: an investment banker, Margo, you're gonna be sitting at the desk.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I can't tell you at what level, but somewhere, uh,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: working between governments around the world. It's on my bucket list. Now,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: we see that, we see that. Yeah, yeah, and just
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: uh my my main goal in life now is changing
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: minds and change lives. I want to be helps so
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: many young people man get it together and learn the
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: principles of success so they could go on. Because like
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: at the top of my list is to make is
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: to create ten thousand millionnaires. That's my goal is to
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: create ten thousand millionaires. Show ten thousand people how it's done.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Who's willing to listen? Great question? Tell me about the
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: bucket list. I also want to point out Freeman start
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: in that movie Nobody. All right, it's my question. Was
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: the last lie you told? Oh, don't do that yesterday? Today?
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: The tail one today? As soon as I get it
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: my other job, I wasn't okay, tell us what was
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: it about. Well, for the first time ever, I had
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: to leave my job early because I wasn't feeling good.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: You know yesterday I wasn't feeling good on radio yesterday,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: but I thought, but I had to leave. Yeah, but
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: I had to leave family few early yesterday. They had
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: several nurses and doctors looking out for me up there,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: and the doctor asked me a question. What do you
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: asked me? And I lied to him the doctor, Yeah,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: because it ain't your business. What you don't what do
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: you mean, it's not his business? I don't know you dog.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Part of your medical history. I ain't gonna see you
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: no more. You ain't my doctor. Have you ever had
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: hot blood pressure? I said no. I don't know a
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: black dude that ain't got it. You know. Yeah, I'm
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: starting to notice some pattern with you. It's like, is it?
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Is it always your first move just to go against
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: whatever's asked to you? Do you? You must do that.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I was voted in high school, Julia most difficult. Obviously
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: I don't. I do not. I'm not going to play
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: this with you. I see. I let say everybody know
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: after dribble, I ain't with it that way. If it
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: go down, I said, I wouldn't with it. This is
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: not high school. No, I don't give a damn. This
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: real life, which is even better than he's coming here
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: with some foolish this with me. I said, I wouldn't
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: with it. Everybody know that with it, I'm on record
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: I ain't with it. And then you know, and then
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I come back around slowly, But first man's usually usually
