- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in it to be true. Good Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother for st Please, I don't join joining me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turnout, turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. The water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your bad uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, One and only Steve Harvey Man old man,
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I do. God so big
- 2:13Speaker 1: to me, man, I just have to tell you about it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't help it. It's rather obvious to me how big,
- 2:21Speaker 1: how good God is. He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He on one, he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm just over here, just on receiving it. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:43Speaker 1: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:49Speaker 1: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 2:58Speaker 1: to begin what we want on our hopes, our dreams,
- 3:02Speaker 1: our desires. Why won't you start your mission today? Why
- 3:06Speaker 1: don't we all decide together that just individually. Look, you're listening.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You got something that you've been dreaming about. You got
- 3:16Speaker 1: an ambition of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got
- 3:19Speaker 1: goals you haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Everybody's got something that's that's on the table that they
- 3:29Speaker 1: haven't yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start
- 3:32Speaker 1: your mission today? Stop the procrastination. Now, the procrastination is
- 3:38Speaker 1: only hurting you yourself. If you got a goal or aspiration,
- 3:43Speaker 1: a dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 3:47Speaker 1: get back to that because God know where you're left off. Now.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 1: you stop for a long period of time, but God
- 3:56Speaker 1: know where you left off, you can get back on track. Look, man,
- 4:00Speaker 1: this dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and it got off track. Now it got off track.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I just kept it as one of the dreams. And
- 4:10Speaker 1: in some real dog moments when it looked like it
- 4:13Speaker 1: wasn't gonna happen, all I was hanging on too was
- 4:16Speaker 1: just the hope that one day it could. But that's
- 4:19Speaker 1: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
- 4:23Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. But faith gives you the
- 4:26Speaker 1: confidence to keep hoping. Man, Sometimes it just keep hope alive.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's just the hope. I was hanging on the hope.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And I'm talking about when it got real ugly and
- 4:43Speaker 1: funky out there for me, when it looked like I
- 4:46Speaker 1: wasn't gonna ever make it, and all of the facts
- 4:49Speaker 1: was in and everything pointed in the direction you're not
- 4:52Speaker 1: gonna make it. You didn't really messed up this time.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Then I sat there and I just hung on to
- 4:58Speaker 1: the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying. If you
- 5:03Speaker 1: got a dream on aspiration of vision or something, when
- 5:06Speaker 1: you fall off track and you want to go get
- 5:09Speaker 1: back in line, God holds your place. See he held
- 5:13Speaker 1: on to that fum me. He knew I was off
- 5:16Speaker 1: tracking out the line, but he said, Okay, here's where
- 5:18Speaker 1: we stopped. You want to be on TV that when
- 5:21Speaker 1: you get it together and you quit tripping and you
- 5:23Speaker 1: coming your turn to me, I'm gonna hold your place,
- 5:25Speaker 1: put you back in line. Then we're gonna finish the
- 5:27Speaker 1: journey that took me a lot longer to get here
- 5:30Speaker 1: than I wanted to. But then it was necessary because
- 5:32Speaker 1: I needed all of the mishaps to happen to me
- 5:35Speaker 1: along the way. So when I got on the radio
- 5:37Speaker 1: one day, which I did not see coming, Steve Harvey
- 5:40Speaker 1: got a radio show, y'all. That's why I say it
- 5:42Speaker 1: every day. See, because of this radio show that I
- 5:45Speaker 1: didn't see coming. Now I have stories to tell, I
- 5:49Speaker 1: got experiences to share, and I can tell you about
- 5:53Speaker 1: me better than I can tell you about anybody. And
- 5:56Speaker 1: I don't been through enough where it's relatable, where enough
- 5:59Speaker 1: people can go. Man, that happened to me. Appreciate you
- 6:02Speaker 1: saying that that's what it was for. See, I get
- 6:04Speaker 1: it now. See at the time, though I didn't like
- 6:07Speaker 1: what was happening to me. At the time, I was
- 6:10Speaker 1: really in total disagreement with God on a lot of
- 6:12Speaker 1: stuff he was pulling off on me, But in essence
- 6:15Speaker 1: I was really pulling it off on myself. But through
- 6:19Speaker 1: his grace and mercy, he kept me through all of
- 6:21Speaker 1: my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations, all
- 6:26Speaker 1: my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out there
- 6:31Speaker 1: and died wrong. He forgave me, he said, because, man,
- 6:35Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:46Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Now see threw it me yet? Nope? Have I arrived object? Nope?
- 7:01Speaker 1: But guess what the journey is cool? You know. It's
- 7:05Speaker 1: like I was talking to this young brother the other
- 7:07Speaker 1: day about comedy and he's really good stand up. You know,
- 7:11Speaker 1: this young dude is really good. He said, Man, what
- 7:15Speaker 1: is this I feel every night before I go on stage.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I just wanted off me,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I said, sir, listen to me, you young dude. This
- 7:24Speaker 1: thing that climbs on my back every night before I
- 7:28Speaker 1: go on stage. I don't know what it is. It's
- 7:31Speaker 1: got something to do with pressure, It's got something to
- 7:34Speaker 1: do with anticipation. It's got a whole lot to do
- 7:37Speaker 1: with the fear of falling. He said, What you mean
- 7:39Speaker 1: by that? I said, every night I walk out on stage,
- 7:42Speaker 1: it's like I'm about to go and step off a cliff.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I said, it's a sickening feeling. He said, man, but
- 7:48Speaker 1: you do so well. I said, that's because the parachute opens.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I say, but I want you to understand something. When
- 7:54Speaker 1: I first walk out there, it's just stepping off the cliff.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Now these yokes provide a parachute which slows my descent
- 8:04Speaker 1: when I jump off the cliff, and I turned it
- 8:06Speaker 1: into a glide. And then I take the audience this
- 8:09Speaker 1: way and I swing them back over that way. We
- 8:12Speaker 1: might swing out to the Colorado Rockies. We may go
- 8:16Speaker 1: down to Miami with this joke. We may take it
- 8:18Speaker 1: on out to LA and I just swing back and
- 8:20Speaker 1: forth till I land softly. The crowd cheers. The night
- 8:24Speaker 1: is over with, I said, but it's been too many
- 8:27Speaker 1: nights though. When I walked off that cliff and I
- 8:29Speaker 1: pulled the cord in, the parachute didn't open. I said,
- 8:32Speaker 1: Now I'm just free falling out there for thirty minutes.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Ain't no jokes working. Ain't the parachute didn't open. I said,
- 8:39Speaker 1: so see, that's what it's like for me. And then
- 8:42Speaker 1: you know what I found out. If you don't walked
- 8:44Speaker 1: off the cliff in life, and you ain't got no
- 8:47Speaker 1: God in your life. It's like not having a parachute.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You step off the cliff and you just free falling.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Now see we all now that fall gets you closer
- 8:58Speaker 1: to the grave, right, we all head into the grave
- 9:01Speaker 1: from the moment we're born. But the cool thing about
- 9:03Speaker 1: a relationship with God is when you step off the
- 9:06Speaker 1: cliff and you got God here a parachute. You're still
- 9:10Speaker 1: going down, but it's a nice ride, and God just
- 9:14Speaker 1: helps your your descent appear more like a rise and
- 9:17Speaker 1: then more like a euphoric fall. Instead of not having
- 9:21Speaker 1: no God in your life and you just walking off
- 9:24Speaker 1: that cliff every day, free falling. Ain't got no core,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you steady pulling, you hauling the whole way because you
- 9:31Speaker 1: messed around with yourself and ain't let God come into
- 9:34Speaker 1: your life and provide a parachute for you. I would
- 9:38Speaker 1: rather have a parachute since I got to jump every day,
- 9:41Speaker 1: than to not have one. God has been like a
- 9:44Speaker 1: parachute from me. Ask me why where that came from.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I can't tell you. But like I always say, most
- 9:52Speaker 1: good things that happened in my life that I can't
- 9:54Speaker 1: explain it's usually him. You're listening, ladies, gentlemen, let me
- 10:04Speaker 1: have your attention today. I'm going to start this show
- 10:08Speaker 1: off quite differently. I'm not gonna play with y'all. I'm
- 10:13Speaker 1: not gonna give you any suggestions. I'm going to tell
- 10:17Speaker 1: you for a tick, do you open your mouth at
- 10:22Speaker 1: one point this morning and give God some credit, some glory,
- 10:29Speaker 1: some praise, and some thanks. That's how I want you
- 10:34Speaker 1: to start it. At one point you can do a
- 10:36Speaker 1: nine while I'm talking. I don't care. It's more important
- 10:38Speaker 1: than what I gotta say. Anyway, that is not a request,
- 10:41Speaker 1: That is a direct order coming from your boys. Steve Harvey,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm talking to myself too right there, because I got
- 10:49Speaker 1: up this morning complaining, you know, like like like like
- 10:53Speaker 1: like like I got the right to complain all he
- 10:56Speaker 1: didn't done for me. I had to nerve this morning.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I got out of complaining, woke up, didn't get to
- 11:03Speaker 1: sleep I wanted, but still woke up, had to nerve
- 11:07Speaker 1: the star complaining. Can you get a load of me?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Who in the world do I think I am? I'm
- 11:16Speaker 1: about one of the most ignorant, stupidest people I'm on
- 11:22Speaker 1: ever walked the earth. For me with all he'd done
- 11:26Speaker 1: for me to wake my ignorant behind. Oh it got
- 11:30Speaker 1: the near to be mad about something he'd left me
- 11:34Speaker 1: laying are not breathing hot? Good withoot he being mister Steve.
- 11:39Speaker 1: But now you woke you up, man, Thank you God.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I forgot forgot how good you've been, Ben tim forgot
- 11:47Speaker 1: to tell you that this morning. So now I'm saying
- 11:50Speaker 1: thank you. I'm saying thank you for everything you've done
- 11:52Speaker 1: for me, from a measure of health, for my family,
- 11:56Speaker 1: for friendships, for business opts, for my lifestyle man, but
- 12:03Speaker 1: most of all for you being a forgiving God that
- 12:06Speaker 1: you forgave me for how I woke up this morning.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Now let's get this show started. Steve Harvey, Martin Show,
- 12:12Speaker 1: Shirley strop Y Colin Forrell, Mouth of the South, Junior
- 12:15Speaker 1: Boar in the legend of Nephew Timmy Hey, Julior man,
- 12:20Speaker 1: you just did yourself waiting man. Any funny how the
- 12:26Speaker 1: fans we forget that? We started complaining earlier in the morning, complaining, Dog,
- 12:32Speaker 1: I ain't said a good thing this morning, just been naked.
- 12:36Speaker 1: M Yeah. And now then I came on here with y'all,
- 12:41Speaker 1: what was I doing this morning complaint. What what what ya? Yeah? Man?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Which thank you for how I came to the studio.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Didn't thank you that I that I got a studio
- 12:57Speaker 1: to go to, that I got a job. I ain't
- 13:00Speaker 1: hit none of that stupid earth. I'm about the most ignorance.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Stupid Steve, don't use word stupid. What you won't call me?
- 13:16Speaker 1: I ain't talking to you, so you ain't got to
- 13:18Speaker 1: email me. Stupid It is not a good word. It's
- 13:20Speaker 1: the perfect word for the way I've been that I'm
- 13:23Speaker 1: standing un man. We've been self self checked on you.
- 13:27Speaker 1: All the rules at h only all right, guys, coming
- 13:33Speaker 1: go to thirty two minutes after the hour. Well, here's
- 13:36Speaker 1: some church complaints from Reverend Motown and Deacon death Jam.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening show. It is time now
- 13:46Speaker 1: for church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Yeah,
- 13:52Speaker 1: we come here to day. Take your time to red
- 13:58Speaker 1: your style complaints. You would think that I would be
- 14:08Speaker 1: mad at the congregation today. Don't correct my pastor. I'm
- 14:12Speaker 1: go head path. But tis eye TI his eye that
- 14:18Speaker 1: woke up with the most complaints. Therefore gives me a
- 14:24Speaker 1: greglarious amount of honor. And grew gracious that we are
- 14:28Speaker 1: about to partake from Deacon Death jail. His aptitude, chalol,
- 14:35Speaker 1: wisdom has been permulgated through this congregation on a red,
- 14:41Speaker 1: glorious way. Glory, Glory. Don't try to say these words
- 14:48Speaker 1: is too heavy for you, son, You're not bad yet. Yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 1: let us here from Deacon Death long mighty Lord. Um, yes,
- 15:05Speaker 1: all right, Pastor, let's get down to it. Brother Marcus. Uh,
- 15:10Speaker 1: Marcus King told the police that he lived at the
- 15:14Speaker 1: church after being arrested for shoplifting. He is now on
- 15:20Speaker 1: house arrest. I guess we should say he is on
- 15:23Speaker 1: church house arrest. So he's actually staying at the church
- 15:27Speaker 1: for the next eight months while he's on church house arrest.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And he's asking, uh, will we be bringing him some food? Uh?
- 15:37Speaker 1: What do we need to do about this boy? Past
- 15:39Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't quite know what to
- 15:41Speaker 1: do with it. We go, we go. We're gonna work
- 15:43Speaker 1: this situation to all advantage. Hell, brother or Marcus ah
- 15:52Speaker 1: that he will be cleaning all the rest, cleaning up
- 15:57Speaker 1: the dining hall on justin all used window sills, and
- 16:04Speaker 1: the every Monday required to get up there and polished
- 16:07Speaker 1: the cross, polished the cross, and then we'll have sister
- 16:13Speaker 1: one needle bring him two servants. Just like jail. He
- 16:20Speaker 1: gonna eat twice to the week. Now in jail, the
- 16:24Speaker 1: feeds you three times. But his little feather ass is
- 16:27Speaker 1: gonna be intermittent fast while he's on this locker up.
- 16:32Speaker 1: He neo ain't coming into one am in the last
- 16:35Speaker 1: one to be a nine. I've done the mouth. That's
- 16:38Speaker 1: a sixteen hour fast and a eight hour window. M
- 16:43Speaker 1: That boy gonna be in shape. So A this is
- 16:50Speaker 1: there's a situation. There's a shotgun wedding U this coming Saturday.

- 17:04Speaker 1: her dad is Cisco said there's either easther there's a wedding,
- 17:09Speaker 1: or he gonna funeralize the wedding. You probably need to
- 17:12Speaker 1: talk to Tip Tip brother Cisco passed well. Sis. We
- 17:19Speaker 1: used to call him kids fishco kids whoa or friend
- 17:25Speaker 1: of mine. We drink whiskey. Hatcho drank them one. Therefore,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I'm not gonna fool with that. Y'all don't know him
- 17:40Speaker 1: like I do. And when it came to that girl,
- 17:44Speaker 1: he was a little girl in his he was very serious.
- 17:46Speaker 1: So it looks like we fit to have a shotgun wedding.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Can you possibly get him to lead a shotgun at home? Please? No,
- 17:55Speaker 1: that's the only way you can have a shot girl.

- 18:20Speaker 1: Darris Gieddriy, her son Nathaniel Gieddrid robbed the Wayne's barbecue
- 18:26Speaker 1: shot while in his Mama's tesla, which is electric now
- 18:31Speaker 1: where the boy didn't know that the car needed charging
- 18:34Speaker 1: and he ran out of charge as he pulled out
- 18:36Speaker 1: of the radway. They beat that boy with hot briskets
- 18:41Speaker 1: and ten slabs of ribs. He is in the hospital.
- 18:44Speaker 1: He got barbecues off in his eyes and can't see.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Sister Darris is asking can someone go get her car?
- 18:52Speaker 1: And I just know I'm not going, but he's asking
- 18:55Speaker 1: can somebody go get her car? From out front to
- 18:57Speaker 1: barbecue cat. Well, I know, Wayne person what they don't
- 19:01Speaker 1: know where wayn and cut the roof off of it
- 19:03Speaker 1: and he's Bobby queing out of it. Now, I think

- 19:13Speaker 1: the expensive as robbery you boy? Yeah, Bob dry had
- 19:18Speaker 1: just drove by that last night because you know he
- 19:22Speaker 1: had a tip the other tips sale last night. You
- 19:27Speaker 1: can't get two real tips saying with you for eight dollars.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I swung by the boy. I never knew that put
- 19:35Speaker 1: the girl or Testamo or testical holes in the eat
- 19:41Speaker 1: boy was right all right, last but not least Pastor.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We got some people that are upset y'all. As you
- 19:50Speaker 1: know the church through a Netflix hardy watching Chris Rock.
- 19:54Speaker 1: We got some unreadiness. Brother Wheel and Jada did not
- 19:58Speaker 1: appreciate y'all running a speci so at the church seeing
- 20:01Speaker 1: us how much money they have donated to the church. Annie,
- 20:05Speaker 1: it seemed like we all is upset and thinking about
- 20:08Speaker 1: coming to the church and slapping you. So I just
- 20:11Speaker 1: want you to know that there's an issue. Well, please
- 20:18Speaker 1: calm down hill and slapped me here. There will be

- 20:40Speaker 1: we gotta go up after the hour. Coming up next,
- 20:47Speaker 1: I should say it is asked the CLO with Chief
- 20:51Speaker 1: Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building, ready for your
- 20:54Speaker 1: love questions. Right after this, you're listening Harvey Morning. Coming
- 21:01Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 21:04Speaker 1: former Sweetey Pies co owner Tim Norman is sentenced to life.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Fox Nations. Anatomy of a hoax docuseries covering the Jesse
- 21:13Speaker 1: Smallette Saga premiers this month, and actor Isaiah Washington remember
- 21:18Speaker 1: him well. Isaiah says he's retiring from acting. We'll talk
- 21:22Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:24Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:28Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey, Regina and Detroit. Steve says,
- 21:33Speaker 1: I suspect that my husband was cheating, so I got
- 21:35Speaker 1: a female co worker to flirt with my husband in
- 21:39Speaker 1: his d ends. He started talking to her instantly and
- 21:43Speaker 1: I confronted him. He apologized, but he said, my co
- 21:46Speaker 1: worker is still d ending him. How should I handle this? Carol,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you opened up the can of words. Not a word
- 21:57Speaker 1: is loose In the flow. What want what you want?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Your husband say you co work still DM, So there
- 22:04Speaker 1: you go. Your husband is cheating and co worker at
- 22:08Speaker 1: your friend. You need some new people in your life
- 22:13Speaker 1: because you don't know how to pick friends. All okay, No, really,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I mean you got started, you all right? Moving on
- 22:30Speaker 1: to Sean in Tampa, Tampa says, I have two female roommates.
- 22:35Speaker 1: They think we are one big, happy, platonic family, but
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm sleeping with both of them secretly. Should I call
- 22:41Speaker 1: a family meeting and discuss how we shall all come
- 22:44Speaker 1: together knowingly and just have fun boy show mouth enjoy
- 22:54Speaker 1: the right man? But it's wrong with you, y'all already
- 22:59Speaker 1: a big happy family, You already are sleeping with each
- 23:05Speaker 1: one of them. What in the world would you tell him? Fault?
- 23:10Speaker 1: So y'all can all sleepygether? What one out of time is? Fine?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Shut up? Yes, stupid? You know that's stupid. That's real stupid.

- 35:31Speaker 1: to twenty minutes after the hour, speaking of being responsible
- 35:33Speaker 1: for what you say, we'll tell you what Shaka Khan
- 35:36Speaker 1: had to say. I'm on Shark about the two hundred
- 35:41Speaker 1: best singers of all time. Right after this, you're listening
- 35:46Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shaka Khan, the famous singer
- 35:51Speaker 1: Shaka Khan, we all know her. Shaka Khan shared her
- 35:54Speaker 1: unfiltered opinion of the vocal talents of Mariah Carey, Mariah
- 35:58Speaker 1: J Mary J. Blige, and others during an interview on
- 36:02Speaker 1: the Originals podcast. This happened recently as Shaka's opinions were
- 36:06Speaker 1: in reaction to Rolling Stones list of two hundred best
- 36:10Speaker 1: singers of all time. Shaka claimed it was her first
- 36:13Speaker 1: time hearing of the list and commented, I didn't even
- 36:16Speaker 1: know what the hell you were talking about, so obviously
- 36:19Speaker 1: this don't mean a great deal to me. These people
- 36:21Speaker 1: don't quantify or validate me in any way. When Shaka
- 36:26Speaker 1: heard that Mariah was in the number five spots. She said,
- 36:29Speaker 1: quote that must be Paola or some sugar honey iced
- 36:32Speaker 1: tea like that. As the host went down the list
- 36:36Speaker 1: of singers on the list, Shaka said, these are blind bees. Okay,
- 36:43Speaker 1: they are blind as yeah, mother blanking bat. They need
- 36:52Speaker 1: hearing aids, all right. When Shaka heard that Adele was
- 36:57Speaker 1: ranked ahead of her at number twenty two, she said, Okay,
- 37:01Speaker 1: I quit I question. Carler, you got the top ten,
- 37:09Speaker 1: the top ten of the two hundred greatest singers from
- 37:13Speaker 1: Rolling Stone Magazine of all time. Yeah, Rolling Stone magazine
- 37:19Speaker 1: needs the ass you fund like. But Shaka Khan is right.
- 37:28Speaker 1: She got every right to be sold just now. Well,
- 37:34Speaker 1: they can be mad, but Shaka Khan can say, give
- 37:37Speaker 1: me the top ten, Carler. Al Green is number ten. List,
- 37:42Speaker 1: just do this oldest reading. Eight is Beyond, seven is
- 37:48Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder, six is Rachelarles, five is Mariah, four is
- 37:54Speaker 1: Billy Holiday, three is Sam Cook, two is Whitney and
- 37:59Speaker 1: number one the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. With one
- 38:06Speaker 1: and two I have no problem with at all at all. Right,
- 38:10Speaker 1: the rest of the list, the top ten is shot.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Let me tell y'all something. Michael Jackson is that eighty six? Wow?
- 38:22Speaker 1: How Prince is that sixteen? Where's Luther? He ain't on now?

- 40:12Speaker 1: Whitney Houston's music video for I'm every Woman because you know,
- 40:16Speaker 1: she and Whitney were very good friends. Here's what Cecy said. Yeah,
- 40:20Speaker 1: Cecy said quote I'm every Woman was a great video
- 40:25Speaker 1: when you think about how it was written. It's a
- 40:27Speaker 1: great song, but the lyrics don't line up with the
- 40:30Speaker 1: word of God because it started off with I could
- 40:34Speaker 1: cast a spell and Cecy said, I'm not saying that,
- 40:39Speaker 1: but no video. That's fine? Well who saw the videos going?

- 41:21Speaker 1: you're listening to demonic stuff and you wonder why you
- 41:23Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. I can cast a spell
- 41:27Speaker 1: on you in mean one thing and one thing only,
- 41:30Speaker 1: and we all know what that is. Yes, Wendy was

- 42:31Speaker 1: It's so pissed, sick. I get so sick of people
- 42:34Speaker 1: trying to be more Christian than me. Who, well, did
- 42:38Speaker 1: you know the wind and knew one of them? I
- 42:44Speaker 1: knew that great great grandfather who what was his name?

- 47:18Speaker 1: Maso limb. Now we got out there and prayed over
- 47:21Speaker 1: my sister friends as bearer and find out that we
- 47:24Speaker 1: were in the wrong space, and they say, you was
- 47:27Speaker 1: the one that told it to us. So I don't
- 47:29Speaker 1: even know what you're talking about. The you is the
- 47:31Speaker 1: one that told us that my sister friends, I don't
- 47:34Speaker 1: give us spaces. I'm in an administrative office. I don't
- 47:37Speaker 1: know where you working out. All I know is you
- 47:39Speaker 1: was the one that told us this. No, yes, you did.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You was the one that my grand baby said that
- 47:46Speaker 1: she talked to the woman named Tabor, and you had
- 47:49Speaker 1: us out there standing over some white man's boy and
- 47:51Speaker 1: it wrong out of concert. So I can't tell you
- 47:54Speaker 1: we're a space to you. So your granddaughter last you
- 47:57Speaker 1: ain't nobody lied to me that you had us out
- 47:59Speaker 1: there a wrong space. I couldn't have had you in
- 48:02Speaker 1: the wrong spaces. I don't even know the Simmons here.
- 48:04Speaker 1: You know what. I must send my grand baby up
- 48:07Speaker 1: there to talk to you. Okay, I'll be here to five.
- 48:10Speaker 1: You're very miss Javid. You know that I'll be here
- 48:12Speaker 1: to five o'clock. You have a good day. No, you don't.
- 48:15Speaker 1: You hang up this phone on me. You have a
- 48:17Speaker 1: good day. No, I'm not gonna have a good day.
- 48:20Speaker 1: You had me praying over the president's body. That was
- 48:23Speaker 1: the wrong one, and we're sending up praying over this
- 48:26Speaker 1: white man's body. It was right. Hello, I'm listening to you.
- 48:33Speaker 1: You don't have an apology or nothing, because I know
- 48:36Speaker 1: I didn't tell your granddaughter where a space was. Then
- 48:39Speaker 1: what did you tell them? I don't even know who
- 48:41Speaker 1: your granddaughter is. What you mean the Stamon's family, if
- 48:45Speaker 1: we will not, I don't know who the Simmons family is,
- 48:48Speaker 1: if not Simon, that Stamons Stamons, I don't know a
- 48:51Speaker 1: Simon's family. That's what I'm telling you. I'm not a counselor.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I don't even deal with family. Here's what I need
- 48:57Speaker 1: you to do. Can you go out there and pray
- 49:00Speaker 1: over my sis? The body? I don't know where your
- 49:02Speaker 1: sister is buried. It's supposed to have been sex bathed
- 49:05Speaker 1: away from the mother limb. I don't are there any faces? Yes,
- 49:10Speaker 1: where is it? Where is it that section two? It
- 49:14Speaker 1: was that in section two? But there was some white
- 49:16Speaker 1: man we was that That wasn't my su priss Okay,
- 49:20Speaker 1: I don't even know who your sister friends is. I
- 49:24Speaker 1: do not even know where section two is. Whoever came
- 49:28Speaker 1: into the cemetery and said that they spoke to me.
- 49:31Speaker 1: They probably did speak to me, and I probably got
- 49:33Speaker 1: the information from a concert, but I never told them
- 49:36Speaker 1: exactly where the spot was. So if they were out
- 49:39Speaker 1: there praying over your sister and they were in the
- 49:41Speaker 1: wrong spot, that's not my problem. That praying over some
- 49:45Speaker 1: white man, That's not my problem, sir. If you gave
- 49:48Speaker 1: the wrong the wrong spot, if you gave the wrong information,
- 49:51Speaker 1: it is I don't give the wrong information. I told them, yes,
- 49:56Speaker 1: she's in section two. I did not physically go out
- 49:59Speaker 1: there and point to the spot to tell them to
- 50:00Speaker 1: pray over that spot. Let me explain what I'm trying
- 50:03Speaker 1: to stop from happening. If my people come out there,
- 50:07Speaker 1: it's gonna be some more bodies getting buried. And I
- 50:09Speaker 1: don't want nobody to get hurt. I mean, your family
- 50:12Speaker 1: can come up here. It's not gonna be no more
- 50:13Speaker 1: bodies being buried that. What they can do is come
- 50:16Speaker 1: up here writing. We can conversate about this, but it's
- 50:18Speaker 1: not going to be an up world here. I want
- 50:21Speaker 1: you to go out there and you pray over friends
- 50:23Speaker 1: of this body. I'm not going out to pray over
- 50:26Speaker 1: nobody's body. It's not family. Remember I didn't tell them
- 50:30Speaker 1: to wrong information. Do you love the Lord? Do you
- 50:34Speaker 1: love the Lord? I dearly do? Then you ought to
- 50:37Speaker 1: have some sepathy. I want you to bouy your head
- 50:40Speaker 1: right now. No, I'm going to end this conversation because
- 50:44Speaker 1: that all the work to do now and froust to me,
- 50:48Speaker 1: I will be hearing some five o'clock. Can I say
- 50:50Speaker 1: one more thing for your goal? One more thing and
- 50:53Speaker 1: I'm ending the car. Okay, this nephew comment from the
- 50:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvard Morning Show. You just got prank. You are
- 51:09Speaker 1: your sister to me because sets you up and you
- 51:13Speaker 1: just got it baby from nephew tim me. You were
- 51:19Speaker 1: standing your ground. You like no this, guys, she wasn't
- 51:22Speaker 1: prayed over the wrong bout it. That don't mean that
- 51:24Speaker 1: I ain't all right check it out. You gotta tell
- 51:31Speaker 1: me one thing. What's the baddest radio show in the land?
- 51:39Speaker 1: And now you have it? That's it? Well, last I've
- 51:43Speaker 1: been to a funeral lay, but I've been a field. No,
- 51:46Speaker 1: I stopped going. I have been many. I don't nobody
- 51:50Speaker 1: want to go to no feeling. I know it's some
- 51:53Speaker 1: people love to ghost it is you know what it
- 51:58Speaker 1: is people who who hear bottom and go to they
- 52:02Speaker 1: don't even know her. Yeah, I'm talking about but being
- 52:05Speaker 1: that grieving like the family. Yeah, yea, my aunt had
- 52:10Speaker 1: a thing. She just wanted to see the body. That's it.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I told you guys that before. That's all. What is
- 52:15Speaker 1: that fetish? Right? I mean, I'm gonna try not to
- 52:21Speaker 1: go up to it. I'll be trying. Yeah, everybody gets
- 52:25Speaker 1: to be the body at one point in time. I
- 52:27Speaker 1: ain't even know Herry. I know that's right. I'm not
- 52:30Speaker 1: a funeral guy, man. I just don't like it. If
- 52:33Speaker 1: you went to the funeral, my aunts didn't get a
- 52:35Speaker 1: chance to go. Did you see the body? How do
- 52:37Speaker 1: you look how she lookt him. He looked dead. He
- 52:43Speaker 1: wasn't moving, he wasn't breathing, his eyes were shut. The
- 52:48Speaker 1: makeup was a little off. She looked he looked embalmed.
- 52:54Speaker 1: That's how he looked up neck Strawberry Letters. Subject. I
- 52:58Speaker 1: went right over there and got him him. We'll get

- 53:38Speaker 1: I went right over there and got him. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:42Speaker 1: I'm forty two years old and I dated a man
- 53:44Speaker 1: for eight years and we broke up about five months ago.
- 53:48Speaker 1: For years, he told me that he wanted to get
- 53:50Speaker 1: married and we get engaged when the time was right.
- 53:53Speaker 1: He told me that he wanted to have babies with
- 53:55Speaker 1: me and buy me a big house. He had the
- 53:58Speaker 1: means to do everything he promised to me, but he
- 54:00Speaker 1: didn't follow through. He preferred to be out with his
- 54:04Speaker 1: friends or over his parents house. I started seeing the
- 54:08Speaker 1: signs that either he was tired of me or had
- 54:12Speaker 1: he had someone else. He assured me that he was
- 54:14Speaker 1: just getting out more. And you know, since we've been
- 54:18Speaker 1: in a house together for two years because of the pandemic,
- 54:22Speaker 1: I started to feel like our relationship was a joke,
- 54:25Speaker 1: and it was. He didn't even have the decency to
- 54:28Speaker 1: tell me that he was moving on and we were done.
- 54:32Speaker 1: On a Friday night five months ago, he staged an
- 54:35Speaker 1: argument so he could leave. He packed up most of
- 54:38Speaker 1: his clothes in one night, and he left. The next morning.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I woke up he was getting the TVs off the wall.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I threw myself at him and made a fool of
- 54:48Speaker 1: myself as I begged and pleaded with him to stay
- 54:51Speaker 1: with me. His friend that was with him had tears
- 54:55Speaker 1: in his eyes too, and he tried to calm me down.
- 54:58Speaker 1: My man was emotionless and just kept getting more of
- 55:01Speaker 1: his stuff so he could leave. After two months of
- 55:04Speaker 1: going crazy and trying to talk to him, his friend
- 55:07Speaker 1: told me that my man is engaged to one of
- 55:10Speaker 1: his exes and they lived together. I went right over
- 55:13Speaker 1: to her house and tried to get my man back.
- 55:16Speaker 1: His fiance says she's sorry and that he didn't tell me,
- 55:20Speaker 1: but they've been back together for almost a year. I
- 55:23Speaker 1: still begged him to leave with me. Still today, I
- 55:28Speaker 1: feel like such a fool. What did I do to
- 55:31Speaker 1: deserve this? Why couldn't he just say he wanted to
- 55:35Speaker 1: leave me? Well, I mean he didn't say it because
- 55:39Speaker 1: some men, you know, they just start right. You know
- 55:42Speaker 1: that they can't handle telling the truth when they want
- 55:46Speaker 1: to break up. They would rather do just what he
- 55:48Speaker 1: did and just leave stage in argument or something like
- 55:51Speaker 1: that and get out of there. But I got to
- 55:54Speaker 1: ask you, you were with him eight years. You didn't
- 55:56Speaker 1: see any signs. I mean you said that, you know,
- 56:00Speaker 1: he was hanging out with his parents and his friends
- 56:02Speaker 1: and all of that. You saw something going on, you
- 56:04Speaker 1: felt something, you knew something wasn't right. Why were you
- 56:08Speaker 1: with him for eight years? Anyway? You know what I
- 56:12Speaker 1: just say this. You should be happy that he's gone.
- 56:15Speaker 1: You should be I mean, he's no longer cheating on you,
- 56:18Speaker 1: he's no longer lying to you, all of that. He's
- 56:21Speaker 1: no longer playing you. Right now, you're playing yourself. Just
- 56:25Speaker 1: let him go. He has clearly moved on with this woman.
- 56:29Speaker 1: You know, you said he had the means to do
- 56:31Speaker 1: everything that he promised you, but he never followed through.
- 56:34Speaker 1: So for eight years you knew that, and you still
- 56:37Speaker 1: stayed with him. I think at this point you have
- 56:40Speaker 1: more of a relationship with his fiancee that he's been
- 56:43Speaker 1: with for a year than you have with him, because
- 56:46Speaker 1: at least she apologized. Let them have each other. You
- 56:50Speaker 1: move on with your life. It's over. He took the
- 56:53Speaker 1: TVs off the wall. It's over. Steve, Wow, this letter crazy.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I went right over there and got him right there,
- 57:09Speaker 1: the Tyler letter. I went right over it ain't got him.
- 57:11Speaker 1: You know you didn't. No, you didn't. They ain't got nobody.
- 57:16Speaker 1: All Right, you go, I'm forty two data man for
- 57:20Speaker 1: eight years. I mean, you've been dating this man since
- 57:22Speaker 1: she was thirty four years old. Y'all broke up five
- 57:26Speaker 1: months ago. Now, listen to this they broke up five
- 57:31Speaker 1: months ago. Why is she writing us a letter of
- 57:38Speaker 1: a breakup that occurred five months ago. You know why?
- 57:44Speaker 1: Because she won't let it go cost for years. He
- 57:48Speaker 1: told me he wanted to get mad and we get
- 57:51Speaker 1: engaged when the time was right. He told me wanted
- 57:54Speaker 1: to have babies with me, by me, a big house.
- 57:56Speaker 1: He had the means to do everything. This is a
- 57:59Speaker 1: dangerous line. He had the means to do everything. I
- 58:03Speaker 1: might have to come back to the happy he promised me,
- 58:05Speaker 1: But he didn't follow through. He preferred to be out
- 58:08Speaker 1: with his friends or over to his parent's house. Wait,
- 58:10Speaker 1: min what he would rather be out with his friends
- 58:14Speaker 1: or over to his parent's house. You think this grown
- 58:20Speaker 1: ass man was going over to his mom and daddy house.
- 58:24Speaker 1: He was going over to a house. But he didn't.
- 58:28Speaker 1: He wasn't at his friend's house or his mom and
- 58:30Speaker 1: daddy house. He was at his new house. Yeah. I
- 58:35Speaker 1: don't know what you I started seeing the signs that
- 58:38Speaker 1: either he was tired of me or he had someone else.
- 58:42Speaker 1: He just told you he was getting out more. Since
- 58:45Speaker 1: we've been in the house together for two years because
- 58:47Speaker 1: of the pandemic breaks. Here we go, Dad, He is right.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Y'all was stuck in that house together for two years
- 58:56Speaker 1: in the pandemic. That did it for him. Him. He
- 59:01Speaker 1: knew in that two year period during the pandemic you
- 59:06Speaker 1: was not the one for him. You should have discovered
- 59:11Speaker 1: in that pandemic that he was not the one for you.
- 59:15Speaker 1: So y'all broke up. That pandemic broke up a lot
- 59:17Speaker 1: at home. Oh, it's a statistic out there that a lot,
- 59:21Speaker 1: a lot of divorces came out of that pandemic. Yeah,
- 59:27Speaker 1: you started to feel like your relationship was a joke,
- 59:30Speaker 1: and it was. He didn't even have the decent to
- 59:33Speaker 1: tell me he was moving on and we are done.
- 59:35Speaker 1: And then something happened on a Friday night. When we
- 59:38Speaker 1: come back, I'll tell you how he told you. But
- 59:40Speaker 1: you just didn't listen when we come back. All right, See,
- 59:45Speaker 1: we will have part two of your response coming up.
- 59:47Speaker 1: At twenty three minutes after the our Today's Strawberry letter
- 59:50Speaker 1: subject I went right over there and got him. We'll
- 59:55Speaker 1: get back into the letter right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: The subject is I went right over there and got
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: him Now, this woman right here lost a relationship. They
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: had been dating for eight years. She was thirty four.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: They broke up five months ago. You're listening to that now,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: never got engaged, got a bunch of false promises, said
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: that he was gonna marry her, get a big house,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: and you know, she said he had the means to
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: do all of this, and he never followed through. Then
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: she said he preferred to be out with his friends
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: over his parents' house. If you think a man that's
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: spending all his time at his friend's house and mom
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: and daddy's house, you stupid. I started seeing signs that
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: either he was tired of me or he had somebody else.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Oh really, But he assured me that he was just
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: getting out more since y'all had been in the house
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: together for two years during the pandemic. That pandemic broke
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: y'all up. Lady, he saw you every day for two years,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and he decided that ain't what he wanted to rest
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: of his life. He decided after two years, you wasn't it.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: He saw that in the pandemic, and you didn't see
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: it in him. He was through with you after the pandemic.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: The pandemic broke y'all up. He didn't even have a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: dcncy to tell me that he was moving on and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: we were done. Yes, he did, but you didn't hear
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it though this I told you. On a Friday night
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: five months ago. He staged an argument so he could leave.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: He packed up most of his clothes in one night
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and left. Lady, you wasn't paying attention. He already had
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: a couple of boxes pack. He had been working on
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: this for about two weeks. A couple of boxes was packed.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: You can't hear you ain't. Nobody moved in the night.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Nobody stelf be everywhere. You don't know it. But it
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: was a couple of prepackaged boxes. You just didn't see it.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: He packed up most clothed one night, and he left.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: The next morning. I woke up and he was getting
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: TVs off the wall. Wait a minute, Wait a minute.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: This says is over when you wake up and he
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: getting TVs off the wall. But now let's go back
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: to a line in the letter. Said you said, he
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: told me he wanted to have babies with me and
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: buy me a big house. And then you said, I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: started seeing the signs that he has some But he
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: had the means to do everything. Well, hold on, if
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: he had the means to do all this, why is
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: he in there taking TVs off the wall? Sound like
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: a poe ass moved to me. Sounded mighty mighty poe
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: to me. So now I threw myself at him, made
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: a fool of myself, begged and pleaded with him to stay.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: His friend that was with him had tears in his
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: eyes too. Well, he had tears in his eye because
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: he said, H'm been gonna I can't believe I'm over him?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: And what device do? Why you have to tell us
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: that his friend had tears in the eye. The dude
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: that was packing and taking TVs off the wall, he
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: hand on tears in his eye, and he tried to
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: calm me down. My man was motionless and just kept
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: getting more of his stuff so he could leave. After
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: two months of going crazy and trying to talk to him,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: his friend told me that your man, my man was
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: engaged to one of his exes and they lived together.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I went right over to her house and tried to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: get my man back. Oh lord, used to do his
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: fiance Wait a minute, just then jump, this is his fiance. Now,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: his fiance says, she was sorry he didn't tell me,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: but they've been back together for a year almost. I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: still begged him to leave with me. He didn't, and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: still today I feel like such a food. What did
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I do to deserve this? Well, probably nothing. It doesn't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: You don't have to do nothing to get deserved to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: get treated wrong. You didn't stop trying to beat yourself
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: about what you deserved to do that it happened. Why
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: couldn't he just say he wanted to leave me? He
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: said it. You wasn't listening when he told you he
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: was over his friend's house and his mama's house. He
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: was telling you then he was gone, But you didn't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: listen to him when he started packing him clothes. What
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: you think he was doing when you walk up to them?
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: TVs was coming off the wall? What do you think?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: At one? Why did you go over that? And his
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: fiance say, I'm sorry he didn't tell you, but we've
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: been together for over you she didn't offer him back,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: She didn't tell him to get out. Now the decision
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: was made. Everybody's made the decision that comes to the conclusion.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: But you, but oh no, you need closure. It's over.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: He ain't coming back. He lived with her. Why don't

- 1:04:54Speaker 1: his eyes that felt so so hot, and maybe he

- 1:05:00Speaker 1: at somebody, you know, go over there and talk to you,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: you know, you know, mister mister TLC, you know, since
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: he had tears in his eye, you know. But sometimes
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: you just gotta move on. There's no closure. It was
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: a pandemic. Y'all found out a lot about each other
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: that you didn't know before, and he found out he
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: didn't care for you, but you still cared for him.

- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you got Junior? Okay, Man, Memphis Grizzle guard John Moran
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: in trouble miss game last night. He's gonna miss a
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: game tomorrow for brandishing a gun in a club with
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: his shirt off on Instagram. So yeah, yeah from Memphis man, Yeah, man, Yes,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Shannon and told him you are not a gangster, hey man.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: So he did apologize. Hey, let his team down, his
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: fans and his family, and uh, you know, he's gonna
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: take some time away from the game to get him
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: some help and you know, work through his situation. But man,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: you such a star in the NBA, man, you you
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: just have a different role. You just can't be out
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: here on security. Bro, Bro, Why are you in the
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: club in US with no shirt? Though? Why are you
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: in the club in Memphis with a gun? You are
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: in the NBA cat spending their whole life trying to
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: get out the hood. He not a gangster. Shannon Sharp
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: told him that, man, you not a gangster. J'all stop
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: hanging with them people. Shannon Sharp four warned him about this.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: He keeps trying to prove he hard. This little boy
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: was about to be the face of the NBA. Yeah,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: well I don't keeper. Oh boy, let me tell you something.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: What he's fixed that face in the NBA. He didn't
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: fix that up for this. They can't let that go. Yeah,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I got the man. So man, we're just praying for you. Man. Listen, brother,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: this is an act of stupidity. People who have far
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: less got enough sense not to walk in the club
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: with no shirt on and put a gun out. You're
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: a millionaire, what you're doing. This is where your dad
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: is supposed to step in. Now's the time where he
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: supposed to step in, and this is what you're supposed
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: to step up and be doing, not stepping up in
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: the midst of a fire. He did apologize and say
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: he takes full responsibility for his actions. No, that's what
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: the publicists are telling you to say. See, this is
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: the this is the damage control. It's too late for that.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Where were you act when you were in the club
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: with the gun with your shirt off on Instagram? Why
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: are you This is a act of ignorance, man, No,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: this is just me just hearting the story as it is. Yeah,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I don't know if his mod to it, but what
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: more could it be? There's a most shirt, there's a
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: shirt somedawn where before we draw for the gun at
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: home somewhere. I just it just doesn't make any it
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: really is. Yeah, all right, thank you, Junior. Coming up
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, a Dallas journalist gets
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: fired for calling the mayor bruh in a tweet. We'll
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening well. Last month,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Megan Mangram, a journalist for the Dallas Morning News, spoke
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: out about a tweet from the Dallas Mayor, Eric Johnson,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: where he claimed that media hasn't brought enough attention to
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the drop in violent crime. Meghan responded by tweeting saying,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: bru National news is always going to chase the trend,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: cultivate relationships with quality local news partnerships. Mayor Johnson responded
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: with a tweet that said, um that has been It's
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: been deleted by now, but the tweet said bruh, have
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: we met. Three days after Mangram sent the tweet, she
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: was fired now. According to Mangram, her executive editor at
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: the Dallas Morning News asked her if she would have
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: used the term bruh. If the mayor was white, Mangram
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: answered yes, claiming that her Twitter feed it is full
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: of the word bro. What do you guys thinks she's white? Yeah,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: she's White's white back? Yeah, that's the culture when she
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: going Now she should get her job back. Yeah, I
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: think she should be suspended for a minute because everybody
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: won't action. But she should get a job. Bro. But
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: brother may to the mayor, Yeah, he word please would
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: have been a little rougher though, Oh goodness, that turned
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: into and that's termination. Shed have lost a job now
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: with but and she would not have called him a
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: bro if he wore white. That's a lot. That's why
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: her ass is going gone. Yeah, you know what she
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: should have said. She said, I was trying to be funny,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: and I wish I hadn't. It was my attempt to
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: be humorist. But no, no, no, they always hold on
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: to the self righteous stuff. She should have said, you
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: know what, I was trying to be funny, like, hey,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: hold up, now, this is what we do. But you know,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you're a journalist. You know better, Especially a writer who's
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: a journalist, they know exactly how to use each word
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: to convey out and so she's guilty of that now.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: She just said, trying to be funny, she helped herself.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: But oh no, no, no, I have that all in
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: my tweeter feed. Well, you don't write for twitters, which
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: is a newspaper, and she covers education and children's issues
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: for the Dallas Morning News. Bye. Well yeah, somebody isn't
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: gonna be covering it now, bro, bro, somebody as covering brother. Yeah,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: she never would have said that to anyone else. I mean,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: let's just be true. She's trying to say too that
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: she uses the word all the time. Yeah, that's what
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: she did say. Yeah, and I've heard white kids and
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: young white people that's they use that word. So that's
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: what she's trying to say. But no, it just was
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: disrespectful to use that with the mayor right, very much so.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: And I don't think if he were a white mayor
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: she would have used the term. Bro. I agree, Yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: that's right bro, right bro bro yeah Bro. But she
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: said she would have black journalists no not to call
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: the mayor. Bro. Black journalists know not to call the
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: mayor brom out of out of respect. They would respect. Yes,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: you know, as hard as this man did work climbed
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: up political letter become the mayor of a major city,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: a major city or yellous city, to degrade him down
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: to just Bro, it's mister mayor or whatever the term.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: And Junior, you're if if if the if the reporter
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: were black and the mayor were white, and the reporter said, dude,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: you know what he has gotten liar, you know, would
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: he have gotten fired? Yes, he would have been fired. Yeah,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: out of respect, we wouldn't do that, Yes, just to
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: respect that. Well, Bro, I'm gonna be in Dallas, uh
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: until June. Bro. Well talk, I'm I'm not talking to
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the mayo. I'm talking. I'm talking to you, Julia. I'm
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: not talking to mayo. I know who to Bro, I
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: know who. And Junior going to Dallas. Bro, Bro, we
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: don't we don't prefer all you bros can come up. Bro,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: we gotta gonna happen. Twenty minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
