- 2:09Speaker 1: dig me now wanting on it. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Okay, here it is today. Gotta going for
- 2:15Speaker 1: you today because God puts something on my heart this morning.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And I have to give the credit to him because
- 2:23Speaker 1: I look, you know, he's catchy sayings and stuff. I
- 2:26Speaker 1: can't take credit for that. I'm just I'm I'm I'm
- 2:30Speaker 1: a I'm a I'm a small interest. I'm a small
- 2:33Speaker 1: piece of him. You know. I was created in his image,
- 2:36Speaker 1: as was all of us. All of us was created
- 2:39Speaker 1: in God's image. God created us. This week we're we're
- 2:44Speaker 1: very special species that he's created because of all the
- 2:48Speaker 1: things he's created on this earth, nothing he's created. It's
- 2:54Speaker 1: his greatest creation outside of man on earth. Now what
- 2:59Speaker 1: heaven is, I have no idea, But on earth man
- 3:03Speaker 1: is one of his greatest creations. And he's very, very
- 3:06Speaker 1: very proud of us, you know. And here's the information
- 3:09Speaker 1: that came to me today. When God created you, God
- 3:14Speaker 1: created you as a work of art, because like I said,
- 3:21Speaker 1: we are all a piece of him. He created all
- 3:24Speaker 1: of us as in his own image. So all of
- 3:27Speaker 1: us are this very unique. Each person is very very unique,
- 3:33Speaker 1: down to very fine details. No one is the exact same. Now,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you meet a lot of people are very similar to you.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You run into people who have a bunch of likes
- 3:42Speaker 1: that you like, share dislikes. You know, You've got a
- 3:44Speaker 1: lot in common with people. But nobody is exactly like you.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And the reason you know that is because of fingerprints.
- 3:51Speaker 1: How is it that this God is so imaginative, he's
- 3:58Speaker 1: so dead on that no two fingerprints are alike. How
- 4:04Speaker 1: in all the FBI and the criminal everybody at the database,
- 4:07Speaker 1: no two fingerprints are alike. That's how unique God made you.
- 4:12Speaker 1: That's a powerful thing to come to the realization of
- 4:15Speaker 1: that you, in some very small way, are so different
- 4:19Speaker 1: from everyone else. That's how special God is. But that's
- 4:23Speaker 1: how special he made you. So you are this creation.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You are this work of art. God said in his
- 4:31Speaker 1: word that he created us, and he came to us
- 4:36Speaker 1: so that we could have a life and have it
- 4:38Speaker 1: more abundantly. Now, okay, now let's just start right there.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You are created in God's image. You are very unique. Proof.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Your fingerprint is like no one else's living. That's amazing.
- 4:52Speaker 1: He hadn't done over six and a half billion people
- 4:55Speaker 1: and ain't duplicated the same finger print. Oh man, come
- 4:58Speaker 1: on now, okay. So now He's created you to be
- 5:03Speaker 1: something with this gift he has given you that he
- 5:07Speaker 1: can expose to the world, that he can show off
- 5:10Speaker 1: to your circle of friends that whatever your world is,
- 5:12Speaker 1: however big it is, and it doesn't matter about your
- 5:14Speaker 1: becoming famous in your world, he wanted to be able
- 5:17Speaker 1: to show you off, to flawsh you, to show the
- 5:22Speaker 1: peace of you that has Him in it. Okay, that's
- 5:26Speaker 1: what you were created for. Now, says God wants you
- 5:30Speaker 1: to have a life of abundance. That means everybody. Here's
- 5:33Speaker 1: the news that God has blessings designed specifically for you,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and the moment you were created, he started sending them
- 5:43Speaker 1: your way. Here is the good news. Here's that's the
- 5:47Speaker 1: good news. Here is the news. We gotta be aware
- 5:49Speaker 1: of you. I. We are the only ones that can
- 5:56Speaker 1: turn back the blessings. M Trump rope. Oh, news flash.
- 6:06Speaker 1: The moment we were created in his special way for us,
- 6:10Speaker 1: God started shipping the blessings that would allow us to
- 6:13Speaker 1: have this life of abundance that He wants for us,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that would have us to be able to accumulate and
- 6:19Speaker 1: acquire and develop the gifts and talents that He's bestowed
- 6:23Speaker 1: upon us to show off in the world that we
- 6:25Speaker 1: are created to be in. He sent them on the way. Uh,
- 6:29Speaker 1: news flash, you I, we are the only ones that
- 6:34Speaker 1: can turn back the blessings. See what you're talking about about?
- 6:38Speaker 1: That because of our attitude, we directly affect our altitude.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So our attitude, y'all, determines how high we go. You
- 6:51Speaker 1: got a bad attitude. You you got low self esteem,
- 6:56Speaker 1: You have low aspirations, you have low till rents for people.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You have a low relationship with your creator. You have
- 7:06Speaker 1: a low time on the meter of prayer. You have
- 7:10Speaker 1: low will guess what low altitude? You are the only
- 7:16Speaker 1: one that can turn back your blessings. Now the way
- 7:20Speaker 1: to get your blessings sit and you stop blocking them
- 7:24Speaker 1: and turning them back. You have to change your mind.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You have to get into receivership mode. You have to
- 7:32Speaker 1: be ready and willing to do just a couple of
- 7:36Speaker 1: things to get the blessings sense your way. First of all,
- 7:40Speaker 1: go to God, who is your creator? Who made the
- 7:44Speaker 1: fingerprint that you have? Man, I can't even get past
- 7:48Speaker 1: or what I just tripped on right here. He has
- 7:51Speaker 1: made you so specific. No two fingerprints are like out
- 7:54Speaker 1: of the six and a half billion people that He's created,
- 7:58Speaker 1: ain't No two fingerprints are life. You can't tell me
- 8:01Speaker 1: God didn't create you to make you special. With that
- 8:06Speaker 1: in mind, with your uniqueness, talk to the to the
- 8:11Speaker 1: God you served, the creator, and find out what he
- 8:14Speaker 1: created you for. It's a very simple prayer. It's God,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I know that I made by you. I've been struggling
- 8:22Speaker 1: with the who I am and the what I am.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I do not really know what my mission is. I
- 8:28Speaker 1: have not figured it out. Can you help me figure
- 8:30Speaker 1: that out? Today? And he will start sending the answers.
- 8:34Speaker 1: But let me give you a couple of jump starters.
- 8:36Speaker 1: First of all, identify your gift, Steve, what gift? The
- 8:41Speaker 1: gift that God gave everybody when he created us with
- 8:44Speaker 1: these fingerprints. See, he not only gave you your own fingerprint,
- 8:48Speaker 1: he gave you your own fingerprint because that's the imprint
- 8:51Speaker 1: you will put on the world that we live in today.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yours is uniquely yours because that fingerprint is the imprint
- 8:58Speaker 1: that you will put on the world when you're gone.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So now that's got to be something great in you,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and you know it. That's why you keep asking the question,
- 9:08Speaker 1: what is it? It's gotta be more to life than this. Um.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I asked my
- 9:12Speaker 1: God that. But let me tell you what I found out.
- 9:14Speaker 1: If you identify your gift, you start the process. Steve,
- 9:18Speaker 1: what gift you keep talking about? I keep talking about
- 9:20Speaker 1: that gift to God gave you. Because God, just like
- 9:23Speaker 1: he gave you the fingerprints, he never ever created a
- 9:26Speaker 1: soul that he didn't give a gift or talent to
- 9:29Speaker 1: the gift and the talent is the same thing. The
- 9:31Speaker 1: gift and the talent is the same thing. What is
- 9:34Speaker 1: that simple? It is the thing that you do the
- 9:39Speaker 1: absolute best with the least amount of effort. See now
- 9:43Speaker 1: we go back to one of them principles. That's the
- 9:45Speaker 1: same Steve, you said that thousand times on the radio.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to get another way to get you to
- 9:49Speaker 1: understand that. But it's your gift, your God given that
- 9:53Speaker 1: your gift and talent may be very similar to someone else's,
- 9:58Speaker 1: but your fingerprint that you're gonna leave with it, your
- 10:01Speaker 1: journey through life is gonna be totally different. Beyonce's give
- 10:05Speaker 1: God of the way she is. You may be able
- 10:07Speaker 1: to sing out saying Beyonce or seeing just as good
- 10:10Speaker 1: as Beyonce, But guess what, that ain't your fingerprint. You
- 10:14Speaker 1: ain't meant to be her. Maybe you're singing gonna go
- 10:16Speaker 1: somewhere else, But you first got to identify the talent.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And the talent is always not in entertaining in sports,
- 10:24Speaker 1: the majority and the greatest talents have nothing to do
- 10:28Speaker 1: with entertainment of sports nothing. What is it that you
- 10:31Speaker 1: do better than anything else that you do without any effort?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Do you counsel, do you teach, do you draw, do
- 10:39Speaker 1: you design? Do you do you worship? Do you are
- 10:43Speaker 1: you a nurturer? Are you have nursing skills? Whatever that is,
- 10:47Speaker 1: Go find that first. That's the starting point. Thank God
- 10:51Speaker 1: for that right there, and the wrest will start to
- 10:53Speaker 1: coming to you. Try to hit this again tomorrow. You're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to show. Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, listen to
- 11:05Speaker 1: me closely. In the world, there are a few things
- 11:10Speaker 1: that you can count on in the world. There are
- 11:12Speaker 1: some things that are considered wonders of the world. There
- 11:17Speaker 1: are seven, to be exact, I do believe possibly eight.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Does anybody know that? What is it? The seven wonders
- 11:23Speaker 1: of the world? Me just just is the number correct?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Eight wonders of the world. That's all I needed to know.
- 11:35Speaker 1: We're not Martin Shirley Morning, Steve so calling Hey, Steve
- 11:46Speaker 1: Morning Junior, Morning Up, Morning tom r some baby. The
- 11:54Speaker 1: knife Wonder other world. That's us show the right way
- 12:02Speaker 1: to kick it off that year. It's the knife Wonder.
- 12:06Speaker 1: The where be something? Yeah we are I'm pretty good. Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: President ain't do nothing crazy last night. Nobody's scared. You
- 12:26Speaker 1: got a new lawyer. He lawyered up. But why, I mean,
- 12:30Speaker 1: if he didn't do anything, why is he acting like
- 12:32Speaker 1: he did, trying to shut it down before it's time. Well,
- 12:36Speaker 1: here's here's the deal. There is no collusion between the
- 12:42Speaker 1: Trump campaign and Russia involved in the election collusion. Nobody
- 12:48Speaker 1: had come up with anything like that. The problem that
- 12:51Speaker 1: god is why why he won't say nothing bad about Russia?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Why he won't call poot now because of the deals
- 13:03Speaker 1: that they was gonna cut with Russia before he was president. Thus,
- 13:09Speaker 1: him not releasing his tax forms does not allow everybody
- 13:13Speaker 1: to take a look at where the money actually is,
- 13:16Speaker 1: which could possibly show connection to some Russian investments. There,
- 13:21Speaker 1: open yourself and leave yourself open to bribery if we
- 13:27Speaker 1: have something on you. That's the problem. So this whole
- 13:32Speaker 1: manifest thing, these charges he got all this is coming back, man,
- 13:38Speaker 1: this ugly right now. And that's all it is. But collusion,
- 13:42Speaker 1: ain't it. Let's just get into this other stuff. Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 1: that's all, that's all they said. Storm Let's talk about
- 13:52Speaker 1: Stormy Stormy. See, I told everybody, I'm not surprised about this,
- 13:58Speaker 1: about this poem. You said it this way before he
- 14:02Speaker 1: even announced. Yeah. G they are saying, man, you can't care. Man,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you can't count what Dad, I'm
- 14:21Speaker 1: just telling he's got the money. Right. Oh, that's the
- 14:24Speaker 1: game they've been playing, all right. They've been on yachts.
- 14:27Speaker 1: They hairwives on. I'll be on boat my wife right there.
- 14:33Speaker 1: All right? Coming up something funny, Um, we got to
- 14:37Speaker 1: find out about these elderly relatives and smartphones. That's what
- 14:40Speaker 1: we're going to talk about. We'll be back at thirty
- 14:42Speaker 1: two after you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It is time for something funny, guys. And here's a
- 14:49Speaker 1: question for you. Are your elderly relatives, you know, the
- 14:53Speaker 1: one to a little up and age of course, are
- 14:55Speaker 1: they becoming annoying with their texting? You know, as annoying
- 15:00Speaker 1: as young people with their texting and stuff like that.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Do you regret your parents and your in laws people
- 15:06Speaker 1: like that other relatives having a smartphone. They don't know
- 15:09Speaker 1: what they're doing and they can't see the screen good either. An'
- 15:16Speaker 1: my mom would say, called him and they'd be saying
- 15:18Speaker 1: called Hope. You'd be like, come on, now, you have
- 15:23Speaker 1: to work on this. But they expect you to know.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Why do you why didn't you call me back? You
- 15:29Speaker 1: call me home? My brother, my brother and sister what.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I'm the youngest in my family, so my my my
- 15:40Speaker 1: brother Levin years older than me, my sister twenty one
- 15:44Speaker 1: years older. So I got damn the old people in
- 15:50Speaker 1: my family. My sister Polly got a flip phone, so
- 15:54Speaker 1: she texted and won't change. Got to hit the number
- 15:58Speaker 1: of certain money to come up. And Lord Jesus, it's
- 16:03Speaker 1: like when her text come up, it's damn in Morrish Kobe,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I got a friend of people that specializes in encryption
- 16:16Speaker 1: to read hard. Damn. Like at the end when she
- 16:24Speaker 1: signed love Polly, it says something like Lo PAULA and
- 16:29Speaker 1: I just go Lo Paul. What the hell is Lo Paul?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Because you know their patients are short? You just go
- 16:39Speaker 1: to this sounds fine, he'll know what I'm talking about. No,
- 16:43Speaker 1: my grandmother just got the internet last year for Christmas.
- 16:47Speaker 1: She got the Internet. It's not even nash. She emailing
- 16:50Speaker 1: me moaning, that's the whole email. I will never get it,
- 16:58Speaker 1: moaning then she'll come, did you get my men? She
- 17:03Speaker 1: just got it? What you're doing that that's the second
- 17:09Speaker 1: a man. They don't have nothing to do with nothing.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I told my brother. I told my brother, I said, hey, man,
- 17:15Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't believe stuff that you read about
- 17:20Speaker 1: me online. My brother said, where is that? Where's the
- 17:27Speaker 1: land stoke? I love that? Did he get mad when
- 17:34Speaker 1: he read stuff about you, like like like he would
- 17:37Speaker 1: be at the grocery store seeing inquir something. Yeah, but
- 17:41Speaker 1: my brotherhood though, he called me man. He said, hey man,
- 17:45Speaker 1: little bro, don't take sugar honey off iced tea off
- 17:51Speaker 1: nobody love brog. That's his whole tex. Don't take sugar
- 18:00Speaker 1: hunted iced tea off nobody. No, bro, Man. Then you
- 18:07Speaker 1: see something else then here, just text me f all
- 18:10Speaker 1: no and I'm that is your brother and I oh
- 18:17Speaker 1: my brother man, he text mean, that's all he text.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But on the flip side, have have your kids ever
- 18:26Speaker 1: like taking your phone? Just give it to me, mom,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I'll do it, yead, I'll do They know how to
- 18:31Speaker 1: go into another settings I need? Yeah? Yeah, especially my daughter,
- 18:36Speaker 1: she's so everything she texts emojis. It's just absolutely I
- 18:42Speaker 1: don't even know what half those emojis mean. But Steve,
- 18:46Speaker 1: you're awfully quiet right now. I don't really I said,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I sent my daughter some emojis the other day, just
- 18:54Speaker 1: messing with her. Uh, she said, Dad, what does this mean,
- 19:00Speaker 1: I said, hell, you sent him. I don't know what
- 19:04Speaker 1: yours mean. I just sent some eyeball, some black feet,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and a ghost. Another I'm sure to kill. I'm sure
- 19:19Speaker 1: to kill kill. You describe what I said. Remember we
- 19:23Speaker 1: used to call him Imergy images. The ended with one
- 19:29Speaker 1: hunter and everything, my favorite one on what I said, eyeball?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Roll all right, he gonna tell you what I said? Okay,
- 19:40Speaker 1: that this fool sent some black feet. Huh, the looking ass,
- 19:48Speaker 1: one eyeball and a ghost. What does that mean? So
- 19:53Speaker 1: then my daughter said, give me that. Tell him what
- 19:57Speaker 1: I said? You said, hello, respond please. I knew that
- 20:03Speaker 1: through a little last cittisode. She said, l m a oh.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I wasn't really sure what to say to that. Then
- 20:15Speaker 1: a little crime face. Oh yeah, So I said, that's laughing.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So I told her what it said. That's laughing, sick,
- 20:26Speaker 1: crying face, the tears, that's laughing. Yeah, they just got
- 20:34Speaker 1: a smiling face for that. Well yeah, but that that
- 20:37Speaker 1: means yeah. So then text what I that's this is
- 20:41Speaker 1: what I text her. Okay, so he explains all the emotions.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Now she said, I don't know what that means. I
- 20:47Speaker 1: don't know how to respond. So now I said, okay,
- 20:50Speaker 1: check this out. It says black feet. Let's go as
- 20:55Speaker 1: see I means I'll see ghosts if you're surprised. That's
- 21:02Speaker 1: that's all A mean because we were going to have
- 21:06Speaker 1: a lunch date. That's prison code. He is my daughter's body.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'm damn prison Okay, crazy, but really, Steve though the photos,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I mean, that's what I'm talking to. The code. It's
- 21:29Speaker 1: the code. I'm not getting dog. That's the ghost. Say
- 21:37Speaker 1: let's go. I say, see the eyeball, I see, I
- 21:42Speaker 1: see see eyeball and then the ghost. If you surprise, yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 1: you do better. Just call Yeah, they have a surprise
- 21:50Speaker 1: face on there. All right, Look, we gotta get out
- 21:52Speaker 1: of here. Matthew. Tommy's prank phone call is coming up next.
- 21:55Speaker 1: You're gonna run that prank back. You're listening Steve MV

- 22:03Speaker 1: Ms Anna is going to be here with our national news.
- 22:05Speaker 1: She'll have the latest on that school shooting in Maryland
- 22:08Speaker 1: that took place yesterday. But right now it is time
- 22:11Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back. What you
- 22:14Speaker 1: got Let's see what I have here? Uh an invitation

- 30:43Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Miss Anna's gonna be
- 30:44Speaker 1: here with Today's National News. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 30:49Speaker 1: Morning Show. Alright, Wow, we're just about five weeks, five weeks,
- 30:56Speaker 1: five short weeks after the massacre that happened at Stoneman
- 31:00Speaker 1: Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Well, this is unbelievable.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Yesterday there was another shooting at Great Mills High School
- 31:09Speaker 1: in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Uh. The school was on
- 31:13Speaker 1: lockdown and police and FBI contain the scene very very early.
- 31:17Speaker 1: We're grateful for that, but I mean we have to say,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I mean, when is this going to end? Enough is enough?
- 31:24Speaker 1: We're in constant prayer, constant prayer for our children who
- 31:28Speaker 1: have to go to school every day, and of course
- 31:29Speaker 1: for the safety of our educators and the administration at
- 31:32Speaker 1: these schools. And don't forget this coming Saturday. March Saturday
- 31:38Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. And other parts of the country
- 31:40Speaker 1: as well. That is the March for Our Lives March
- 31:44Speaker 1: rally for in grease, increased gun control, and school safety measures.
- 31:49Speaker 1: All right, that's this coming Saturday. Lighthouse is already backed
- 31:53Speaker 1: off off of that conversation that Donald Trump had about
- 31:56Speaker 1: raising the limit. All they're talking about now is background
- 32:00Speaker 1: checks and you mean the age took off of the
- 32:04Speaker 1: rays the limit to buy an assault right. They got
- 32:07Speaker 1: off of that because he had lunch with the n
- 32:09Speaker 1: r A and they explained to him carefully, we will
- 32:13Speaker 1: take down your whole damn party. We will remove every quarter.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And he came right on out there and said, okay, well,
- 32:24Speaker 1: hopefully they'll they'll hear the message. You know, when these
- 32:27Speaker 1: young students get out here on this coming Saturday with
- 32:31Speaker 1: the rally, is going to vote all their asses out. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: money as soon as they turn eighteen, and they're gonna
- 32:41Speaker 1: have you know, yeah, yeah yeah. Would you say, Carla
- 32:48Speaker 1: there was I was saying, they're gonna have rallies to
- 32:51Speaker 1: all over the country. You know, folks can't make it
- 32:53Speaker 1: to Washington, d C. They're going to be rallies all
- 32:56Speaker 1: of the country. I saw some stuff getting put together
- 32:58Speaker 1: in Dallas and just Atlanta, all over the country. So
- 33:03Speaker 1: you write, Steve, these kids are trying to make a
- 33:06Speaker 1: change and the right and look forward to be organized too.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's not just gonna be a bunch of kids everywhere.
- 33:12Speaker 1: It's they have some grassroots people helping them. George George,
- 33:17Speaker 1: um clooney and Oprah and I think d Wade gave
- 33:20Speaker 1: money to the rally. So it's going to be organized. Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 1: a lot of celebrities. You don't even need celebrities for this.
- 33:29Speaker 1: The grassroots people can change this. Celebrities are one vote celebrities.
- 33:34Speaker 1: You know. Look, we bring attention to it with star power,
- 33:37Speaker 1: but we're not on the ground. We're not the boots
- 33:39Speaker 1: on the ground, folks. The boots on the ground, folks
- 33:42Speaker 1: are the ones who really make the difference. You know,
- 33:44Speaker 1: we show up at celebrities, we get some pr for it,
- 33:47Speaker 1: and then we've got to go back to have very
- 33:49Speaker 1: very busy lives. I'm just being correct. This is how
- 33:53Speaker 1: it works. That's all that's fining good. But it's them kids, man,
- 33:58Speaker 1: that's telling their parents. No, you don't understand. We do
- 34:02Speaker 1: get it. As a matter of fact, we get it
- 34:04Speaker 1: better than you think. We get it. This is all
- 34:06Speaker 1: about money and power with y'all. But we're the ones
- 34:09Speaker 1: getting shot and we're tired of it. And that's the
- 34:12Speaker 1: message that they send him. Yeah, that's the message that
- 34:16Speaker 1: they send it. And and and they mad because they're
- 34:19Speaker 1: back at school now and the desk they used to
- 34:21Speaker 1: have a free and in it they free them. So
- 34:25Speaker 1: now they send up going season. These ain't the elementary
- 34:27Speaker 1: kids that don't know how to verbalize it and do
- 34:31Speaker 1: nothing about it. These are kids who are going to
- 34:33Speaker 1: turn eighteen within the next year or so. Dim dim
- 34:37Speaker 1: boys is mad. Yeah, And then you're sitting up telling them, well,
- 34:42Speaker 1: we're gonna do something, what we're gonna meet when all right,
- 34:48Speaker 1: we're coming up there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this Saturday, the
- 34:54Speaker 1: March on Washington, March for Our Lives and all around
- 34:58Speaker 1: the country and Steve, we can go to sand now,
- 35:00Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, MS and Tripp. Thank you everybody. This
- 35:04Speaker 1: is answered with the news. Okay, reports out of Austin, Texas,
- 35:07Speaker 1: everybody listen up, say that the serial package bomber has
- 35:11Speaker 1: been killed. They say the man was traced thanks to
- 35:13Speaker 1: cell phone technology, to Flugerville, that's a suburb just outside
- 35:18Speaker 1: of Austin, and that as the police closed in, he
- 35:20Speaker 1: blew himself up. But again repeat. Reports out of Austin,
- 35:23Speaker 1: Texas say that that serial package bomber in Austin has
- 35:27Speaker 1: been killed. They say the man was traced to Flugerville,
- 35:29Speaker 1: which is just north of Austin, and that as policea
- 35:31Speaker 1: got closer to him, he blew himself up. Two people
- 35:34Speaker 1: were killed by the bombs, while several others were injured.
- 35:36Speaker 1: The victims were either black or Latino. And it happened again, yes,
- 35:40Speaker 1: this time at Great Mills High School in southern Maryland.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Sheriff Tim Cameron says a suspected gunman is dead and
- 35:45Speaker 1: that two other students have been hospitalized victims of the shooting.
- 35:49Speaker 1: The one male students in stable condition. The female student
- 35:53Speaker 1: was transported to Shock Trauma facility is in critical condition,
- 35:57Speaker 1: and the shooter was confirmed deceased. Our school resource officer
- 36:01Speaker 1: who was stationed inside the school, uh, he pursued the
- 36:05Speaker 1: shooter and engaged the shooter, during which that engagement he
- 36:08Speaker 1: fired a round at the shooter. Simultaneously, the shooter fired
- 36:12Speaker 1: around as well. You know, this is what we trained for,
- 36:15Speaker 1: this is what we prepare for, and this is what
- 36:18Speaker 1: we pray that we never have to do. Okay, yesterday's
- 36:21Speaker 1: gun incident, it comes more than a month after that
- 36:23Speaker 1: mass shooting in Stoneman Douglas High School. On this case, though,
- 36:26Speaker 1: the the alleged gunman, seventeen year old Austin Wyatt Rollins,
- 36:29Speaker 1: they say was involved with the girl he shot. Nevertheless,
- 36:33Speaker 1: this kind of stuff has really a spearheaded a renewed
- 36:36Speaker 1: political activism among the young. As you heard Stephen them talking,
- 36:38Speaker 1: spearheaded by students calling for safer schools, stricter gun control.
- 36:42Speaker 1: In a national March for Life this weekend, President Trump
- 36:44Speaker 1: announced that he placed a congratulatory call to Vladimir Putin yesterday,
- 36:48Speaker 1: two days after Putin Handley want to vote marred by
- 36:51Speaker 1: reports of ballast stuffing and other stuff. I had a
- 36:54Speaker 1: call with President Putin and congratulated him on the victory,
- 36:58Speaker 1: an electoral victory, and Trump as that he hops it
- 37:01Speaker 1: in a not too distant future he'll be able to
- 37:03Speaker 1: meet with Putin now. Republican senator and war hero John
- 37:06Speaker 1: McCain is denouncing Trump's attitude. McCain says, quote, an American
- 37:10Speaker 1: president does not lead the free world by congratulating dictators
- 37:14Speaker 1: on winning sham elections. Putin one another six years in
- 37:17Speaker 1: office in the landslide after preventing his only credible rival
- 37:20Speaker 1: from running. The Sana Intelligence Committee, by the way, recommending
- 37:23Speaker 1: steps designed to secure future elections now that US officials
- 37:26Speaker 1: say Russia is still working to undermine our elections. And finally,
- 37:29Speaker 1: today is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
- 37:33Speaker 1: On a lighter note, it's also National kick Butts Day,
- 37:38Speaker 1: Uh back When? More entertainment and today's training topics Training
- 37:41Speaker 1: minutes after the hour to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 37:44Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Carla, girl,
- 37:48Speaker 1: you know what today is And for the guys to

- 38:03Speaker 1: can even be a woman and have a crush on
- 38:05Speaker 1: another woman, admire another woman or whatever. Yeah, and guys,
- 38:09Speaker 1: of course, So Carlo, what's yours? I'll start with you.

- 38:32Speaker 1: women you admire, you know, appreciate. I just want to
- 38:36Speaker 1: put this out here, for this go too far. Do
- 38:39Speaker 1: not turn and ask me for my man crush, because
- 38:44Speaker 1: you don't have a crush on me. I just crushed
- 38:51Speaker 1: you talking about jokes, but I'm not. I'm not. I
- 38:57Speaker 1: don't have a crush only I know you feel like

- 39:02Speaker 1: next to me, you feel crool man hush. Back to
- 39:07Speaker 1: the women today. As women Crush Wednesday. It's a big
- 39:09Speaker 1: hashtag on social media. We do it every Wednesday. So,
- 39:12Speaker 1: like I was saying, Tamar Braxton. That's my woman crushing.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I'm crushing on Tamar today fearless. Last week she shaved off,
- 39:19Speaker 1: she cut off all her hair. She's feared, she's free
- 39:23Speaker 1: and she was brave to do that. So that's my wife.
- 39:25Speaker 1: And you can also see Tamar on Steve today. Can
- 39:30Speaker 1: be there today today. Okay, so maybe we will see
- 39:35Speaker 1: her because you see, I mean no without her hair.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I mean that's unless you wearing no. That was the
- 39:43Speaker 1: whole purpose of show. Yeah, and that's why I asked, Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 1: are we gonna see the new Tamar or yeah, she
- 39:48Speaker 1: coming on the show now, whether you're gonna see the
- 39:51Speaker 1: new one on the old up to take that weird
- 39:56Speaker 1: for you, go out here alright, woman, Okay, I think
- 40:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna pick Serena Williams. And the reason I'm gonna
- 40:10Speaker 1: pick her is because you know she she just had
- 40:13Speaker 1: her baby not too long ago, she got married, and
- 40:15Speaker 1: then just last week she went back to work, she
- 40:18Speaker 1: went back on the tennis courts and she was looking good,
- 40:21Speaker 1: feeling good and winning. So that's my Yeah, that's my

- 41:34Speaker 1: checked me out on sand with her name. I didn't
- 41:38Speaker 1: get it, but I bought most stuff that I was
- 41:40Speaker 1: spokes like, why am I up in bidding? What am
- 41:43Speaker 1: I doing up there? I've walked that stuff from bedding
- 41:47Speaker 1: back down to the first flow so she could just
- 41:49Speaker 1: check me back out. What I don't even know what
- 41:53Speaker 1: nationality she was. She was just beautiful. Oh man, I
- 41:58Speaker 1: just was Yeah, okay Jr. And what about your nephew.

- 55:43Speaker 1: of issues. Go ahead, asked for it. I read it
- 55:53Speaker 1: on that. You hear my response on the hell we're
- 55:55Speaker 1: doing financial request letters? No, we're not anyway right to us.

- 56:08Speaker 1: the air. We read yours, buggal hold on time. We
- 56:12Speaker 1: got it for you. Here. It is the strawberry letter. Alright, subject,
- 56:17Speaker 1: I want to call it quits after twenty one years
- 56:20Speaker 1: of dating. Here Stephen Shirley, My life could not be
- 56:23Speaker 1: more complicated. I'm a thirty six year old woman and
- 56:26Speaker 1: I've been dating the same man for twenty one years. Yes,
- 56:31Speaker 1: that's right. He's my boyfriend and we've been together off
- 56:35Speaker 1: and on since middle school. He was my first love
- 56:38Speaker 1: and my first sexual encounter. We have three teenage children,
- 56:42Speaker 1: and we have been through all of the ups and
- 56:44Speaker 1: downs and married couples have, but we've never been married.
- 56:48Speaker 1: He has never wanted to get married. I wanted to
- 56:50Speaker 1: marry him when we were in our twenties, but change
- 56:53Speaker 1: my mind because he was not treating me like a
- 56:55Speaker 1: queen and making me feel like I was the prettiest
- 56:58Speaker 1: woman in the world. I was thinking because he never
- 57:02Speaker 1: had to commit to me in marriage that he started
- 57:04Speaker 1: taking me for granted. For many years now, he has
- 57:07Speaker 1: not paid any attention to me when he's home. He
- 57:10Speaker 1: loves his video games. We rarely go out to dinner,
- 57:14Speaker 1: and we've never been on vacation. After twenty one years,
- 57:18Speaker 1: I'm done with trying to make this relationship work. It's
- 57:22Speaker 1: like I'm roommates with my best friend that I that
- 57:25Speaker 1: I grew up with. I want to call it quits,
- 57:27Speaker 1: but I don't know how it should be easy? Right
- 57:30Speaker 1: since I don't have to divorce him, How do I
- 57:33Speaker 1: end things with my best friend, lover and father of
- 57:36Speaker 1: my children? Help? All right? Uh? Something that you said
- 57:41Speaker 1: in the letter about he doesn't treat you like a queen, Well,
- 57:44Speaker 1: I say, if you really believe you're a queen, then
- 57:47Speaker 1: act like it. I mean, do what queens do. Put
- 57:49Speaker 1: yourself first and stop allowing him to treat you that way,
- 57:53Speaker 1: just any old kind of way. Uh. You know why
- 57:56Speaker 1: you have to put up with this foolishness. I have
- 57:58Speaker 1: no idea for twenty one years, and yes, he's taking
- 58:01Speaker 1: you for granted because you let him. If he doesn't
- 58:03Speaker 1: want to marry you, leave him. If you want to
- 58:05Speaker 1: get married, leave Uh. You know, why are you wasting
- 58:09Speaker 1: your life with him? Twenty one years of your life?
- 58:12Speaker 1: I understand you know that he may have a special
- 58:15Speaker 1: place in your heart because he was your first and
- 58:18Speaker 1: you know he was your first love and everything. He's
- 58:21Speaker 1: the father of your teenage children. But it's time to
- 58:24Speaker 1: you know, just start using your head in this situation.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Keep your heart out of it for a moment in
- 58:29Speaker 1: this relationship, because it's going to continually get broken. So
- 58:33Speaker 1: I just say, stay woke. You know, you have to
- 58:36Speaker 1: know that it's okay to feel how you feel and
- 58:39Speaker 1: be fed up and want out. It is okay. You
- 58:42Speaker 1: can walk away. I don't know what your living arrangement
- 58:44Speaker 1: is or anything like that, but either you can pack
- 58:47Speaker 1: your bags and get out, or you can pack his
- 58:49Speaker 1: bags and tell him to get out. Now is the time?
- 58:52Speaker 1: After twenty one years, Steve, Well, this is a crazy
- 58:58Speaker 1: letter man, because it has a couple of problem points
- 59:02Speaker 1: in it, more than a couple. I want to call
- 59:05Speaker 1: it quits after twenty one years of dating. Uh. That
- 59:10Speaker 1: that's an alarming number of years for dating. I want
- 59:14Speaker 1: to call it quits after twenty one years of dating. Wow,
- 59:21Speaker 1: twenty one years. You ain't got a ring, a proposal,
- 59:25Speaker 1: a promise ring, nothing, You just dating. But things are
- 59:33Speaker 1: happening in this relationship that goes a little bit past date. Uh,
- 59:38Speaker 1: I'm thirty six years old, which means you've been with
- 59:41Speaker 1: this man what I long since you were fifteen? Okay, Uh,
- 59:51Speaker 1: that's right, and he's my boyfriend. You're not supposed to
- 59:54Speaker 1: be anybody's boyfriend after college. That's ladies, you're not supposed
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: to be somebody's girlfriend at the college. After college, this
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: stuff has to start meaning stuff. Get all that way
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: with stuff out your system in college. After college, it
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: all to started meaning something to you. Friend. Uh, he
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: was my first love and my first sexual encrownter. Well,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: that's good. You were, That's that's good. I'm not saying
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: it happened at fifteen, but at least that's good. We
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: have three teenage children, so you're having babies while you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: just dating. And you've demanded nothing, as you've given this
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: man three children. You've demanded nothing, and you've been through
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: all the ups and downs that married couples go through,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: like what what like threatening threatening to divorce, threatening to
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: never see your children again, threatening to take everything you own,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: threatening to take half of his income due to child support.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: No you haven't, No, you haven't. That's what happens with
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: married people discussed leaving. Your discussion of leaving, like Shirley said,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: requires nothing unless you're in the state of California. Then
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: you got problems. Now. But we've never been married. Here's
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: here's the line. He has never wanted to get married. Well,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and he's been doing what he want to do. He
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: never wanted to get married, and guess what he ain't
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: ta where the hell is to surprise at this man
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: ain't ever wanted to get married. And guess what he
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: ain't married. I wanted to marry him when we were
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: in our twenties and change my mind because he wasn't
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: treating me like a queen. Listen to me. He still
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: don't treat you like a queen, nor will he ever
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: treat you like a queen. You have gotten what this
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: man at best, what was gonna give you three babies,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: and it took you twenty one years to get that.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: He has not treated you like a queen. He will
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: never treat you like a queen because he don't do
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: nothing he don't wanna do. He didn't want to get
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: mard and for twenty one years don'g gonna he ain't.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: This writing is on the wall. You say in your letter,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: my life could not be more complicated, or it could
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: be more complicated. You could be married. Oh it would
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: be a lot more complicated if you were married, So
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: your life could be a lot more complicated. But because
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you ain't married. Like Shirley said, you can just walk
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: off and he would have to pay for them kids.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I got the rest of them when we come back.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: That noticed right here you're talking about. All right, we're
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: gonna have part two of your response coming up a
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: tree after the hour. This man knows what he talks about.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: let's get to part two of your response to today's
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. Twenty one year twenty one year relationship of
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: dating with this man has produced nothing but hardship for
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: this woman and three beautiful children. So that's what you
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: got out of the deal. They beautiful kids. They're gonna
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: grow up to become something absolutely wonderful. Almost willing to
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: bet that, but asked for you. What you've gotten from
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: it has been what he said he wasn't gonna do.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: He said he never wanted to be married, and guess
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: what he ain't married. And this little you're talking about,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: you've been together twenty one years. Since they've been together
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: off and only since middle school. The hell do that mean?
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I keep telling you'all me and don't do all. You
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: always say that me and don't do off. We own somewhere.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: If we offer you, we own to her. If we
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: offer you, we own to her immediately. Period. That's how
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: men are built. Does that make us wrong? No, I'm
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: just telling you that's how we built. We don't need
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: no time to ourselves, go up in the mountains and
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: find ourselves. No, we go over to her house and
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: find ourselves that evening. Okay, So now you wanted to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: marry him when you in your twenties, but I changed
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: my mind because he was not treating me like a queen.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: And I'm telling you he still ain't treating you like
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: a queen. And I got some more news for you.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: He will never ever treat you like a queen because
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you are not his queen. You're not his queen. He's
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: not your king. So why would he treat you like that?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: And why would you keep expecting to be treated like
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: a when he has never performed or acted like a king.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: A man can't treat you like a queen unless he's
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: a king. He can't be the page now, he can't
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: be a little monkey jack. He can't be the jack
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: jack on the side show he uh to get you,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: treat you like the queen you really are. He has
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to be the king. Everybody else up. Oh my god,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: there's a queen bout out. But they can't come do
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: nothing for you because they ain't the king. Now, she said,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I was thinking, because he never had committed to me
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: in marriage, that he started taking me for granted. No,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: listen to me again, you said, uh, he never after
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: he said the queen line and making me feel like
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I was the prettiest woman in the world. I was thinking,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: because he had never committed to me in marriage, that
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: he started to take me for granted. No, you reversed.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: He's taking you for granted because he ain't got to
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: commit to you in marriage. I'll just flip it. That's all.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: That is why we got to commit to you. We're
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: gonna take you for granted here. We ain't married to you.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: You can't make us do nothing. We're not married. And
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: you keep saying your life couldn't be could not be
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: more complicated. It would be a lot more complicated if
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you was married. For many years now, he has not
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: paid any attention to me. That's because you're not his queen.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Let me go on the house and not pay attention
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to the queen of that house and see how long
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I'll be standing up at that time about I'm a
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: damn king. For many years now, he has not paying
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: attention to when he's home. He loves his video games,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: and that's what he pay attention to. All you gotta
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: do to know where you're staying with him? Man, what
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: do he pay attention to? If he don't pay attention
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: to you? What? What? But you say he loves his
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: video game? Sitting on that staying at that screen, though,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: ain't he? Because that's what he loved? Were elly? Go
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: out to dinner for what? Ain't you eat nothing else? Hello?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: And we've never been on vacation after twenty one years
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and you're not going anywhere. Listen to this right here,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: y'all ain't been nowhere because he has no plans of
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: this going anywhere. Oh, listen to me, ladies. When a
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: man don't care you nowhere, it's because he don't see
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: this going nowhere, do you? I'm teaching you how men
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: are part that hurts me. If I'm carrying you nowhere,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: it's because he don't see this going nowhere. Bam, news
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: flash printed put it on Twitter. It's like I roommates
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: with my best friend that I grew up with. That's
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: a great analogy because that's exactly what you are. I
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: want to call it quits. Okay, now we're okay, Now
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: we're getting down to but I don't know how. Well,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: won't you just do what he's been doing? Nothing? Because
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: he ain't paid your attention in years. He's been off
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: and on. He don't want to get married. So now
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: all you gotta do is take everything he's done and
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: just do it to him. Stop paying him attention, stop
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: wanting to go out to dinner with him, Free yourself
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: from the loser, and I bet you a winner come
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: long and want to take you out to eat and
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: probably take you somewhere. You ain't even been on a vacation,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: your grown ass woman ain't never been on vacation, thirty
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: six years old. You ain't never seen where y'all live. Carolina.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: You ain't been the South Carolina. Yours ain't been the
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: South Carolinas. The damn that's like you live in. You
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: live in You live in Florida. Ain't been to the beach.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: It's out there. We'll just drive over that man. Well,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: he don't take me, no, Uh, I don't know how
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: it should be easy right. Since I don't have to
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: divorce him, how do I end things with my best friend,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: lover and father of my children. Let's just go over
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: these three things that you're claiming. Is he's your best friend,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: he treats you like your best friend, or you claiming
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: him as your best friend. You need some new friends
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: because you don't know what best friends do. Best friends
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: care about each other. He's your lover. He ain't paid
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: attention to you in years. So even if y'all do
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: get to love it, ain't it all just about him? Hello?
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: And he's your father of your children, which he will
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: always be. That ain't gonna change now you make him
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: continue to be to fall that's for damn show. But
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the best friend and lover he that's strawberry. Let him kissing?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Why Steve? We got we gotta get out of here.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Email us us your thoughts go to uh my girls, Shirley. Okay, jeez,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: we'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Steve Show, alright. Two students at a Maryland high school
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: were injured yesterday after a colleague opened fire in the
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: hallway just before the start of classes. This is and
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: a fellow student, Yeah, it was at Great Mills High School, UH,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and they remained on lockdown after the shooting was contained
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: when a school resource officer engaged the gunman. Uh St
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Mary's County Sheriff Tim Cameron told NBC the chaos unfolded
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: before eight a m. East when the shooter walked into
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: a UH student school and fired around at a female student,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: also hitting a male student. The school resource officer was
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: alerted to the gunfire and quickly confronted the gunmen. This
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: is according to sources. I mean, this is terrible. The
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: the officer fired at least around at the shooter, and
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: the shooter fired around there saying they believe that's what
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: the shooter said. And it's your worst nightmare. And the
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: shooter is dead now, you know, I need to find
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: out Go ahead, my son is elementary first grade. Like,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: do I go to the school and and check out
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: this whole school to figure out what do I tell
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: my son to do? Or something like that? Well, I mean,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: they do have like drills and lockdown um UH exercises
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that they go through just in case. At at a
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: lot of these schools. You know, I don't know about
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: every school, but a lot of them. They do have
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: that now think I think it's you know, of course
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I understand your concern for your child, but I think
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the conversation you have to have is with the parents
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: and the and the school board and the leadership of
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: the school to say, what's our plan in the event
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: that something happened. You just can't have your little boy
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: go hide away, you know. They you have to have
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: a plan that they can run drills with, because that's
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: what a lot of schools are doing now, you know.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: So I think you gotta set with the other parents
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: and go to the board the principle and say, Okay,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: what's our plan in the event something like this happens
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: that our school. What do at my daughter school? Steve,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: they do that the superintendent when this went down last month,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the tragedy in Parkland, Florida, the superintendent sent out what
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: the school plan is for what happens with lockdown? What
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the children do? Increase Sometimes you're going up the find
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: and to hide and play for your board. And so look,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: you mean to say that you so Tasha knows right
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: now what lockdown means. Yes, in the fourth grade. Yeah,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: it really is sad, It really really is. Wow, it
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: was the other day. It was a bad car accident.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I think I was telling you guys. It was a
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: bad car incident in front of the school, and the
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: police didn't want the children to see this car accident,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: so they put the school on lockdown and the lights
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: are off in the classroom, the teachers cover up the windows.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: This is for a ten year old child. Yeah, this
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: is that. This is what utine right. Okay, Now, see,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: this is the world we live in. What college is described.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: What Tommy's concerns are real for parents who have children,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: you know, all of my children out of school. These
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: are very real concerns for a lot of our audience
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: members who listened. Now, with all these adjustments that have
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: to be made to help us survive, not live, but
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: surviving the world that is today, is it not time
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: for us to revisit the Second Amendment? Look, if we
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: gotta change and adjust for this damn amendment that you
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: have that's a couple hundred years old by some old
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: ass people that wrote it, and all of them is dead.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: All of them is dead, none of them prior to
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: their death or the writing of that constitution. Had anybody
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: walk in within a k forty seven and modown their church,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: modown a movie theater, and modown their class room. It
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: had never happened. So now the Second Amendment was a
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: cool thing back then. Well in two thousand eighteen, it ain't.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: It's not a cool thing. I don't know why, y'all,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know why we can't get
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: nobody to see this, that this old ass archaic piece
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: of constitutional writing has to be changed to fit the
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: world we live in today, because we have more unfit
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: people today, even though y'all was unfit back then to
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: hold on. And I think they don't see it, See what.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I don't think that it's that they don't see it.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: It's exactly that they don't see it. I think they
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: see it. They just don't want to change it. No, no,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: they don't see it because they can't see it because
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: of the money and power that it provides for the politicians.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Everybody else see it, but the politicians job is to
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: get you to not see it so they can maintain
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: the power and the money to die before they see it.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: We all know one of the kids have to die
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: for they see it. That's the stupidity of this, our
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: kids dying. We're gonna keep on hanging onto this in anything,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: but you let them politicians children start dying from some assault. Right,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: let somebody walk in the politician kids school with the
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: gun and lose one of them politicians kids. I promise
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: you the mother of that baby right there that's sleeping
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: with that man right there, they're gonna make some damn changes.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: That's let me explain to you. God forbid that happened,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: because I don't want that to happen to nobody's child.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: But that's the only way to get these people to move.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: They're not coming off the Second Amendment because it don't
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: affect them. It affects their profit and they power. That's
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: why the Second Amendment ain't going nowhere. But the Second
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Amendment been crazy for this country. We got more deaths
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: by guns than any other nation in the world. We
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: have the highest prison population than any other nation in
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: the world. Why because it drops and guns period the
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: hell period. That's the stupidity of this. These kids is
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: on the song. That's all I got to say. Yeah, well,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: don't forget the mark for our lives. Watch hold on,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: hold on dropped him mike. That was him dropping the mics,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: dropping the mic all right, we'll be back with more
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: of the show right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, Steve, here's the question for you.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: What is going on in Cleveland with the Cavaliers. Okay, Well,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: as you know, Lebron James had a shouting match with
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: head coach Tyran Lou during the calves On one oh
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: five loss to the Trailblazers last week. Okay, Lou left
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: the Bull versus Cavs game with an illness. It marked
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the third time this season that his health has kept
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: him from coaching an entire game, which is probably why
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: he made the announcement that he was taking a break
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: from coaching to deal with his health issues. He says,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: after many conversations with our doctors and general manager Kobe Altman,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and much thought given to what is best for the
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: team and my health, I need to step back from
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: coaching for the time being and focus on trying to
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: establish a stronger and healthier foundation from which to coach
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: for the rest of the season. He got Lebron ellipsy.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: What Lebron ellipsy? That's that's that's a Lebron thing. It's
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: it's like from Cleveland. He from Houston. Quicktok called James
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: cox Man man has fallen eel twice, but it's always
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: third time this year. It's always had the argument with
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: him and people are saying, yes, but that ain't the case.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Did you hear Lebron's interview the other days for him?
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: So let's go what else we got? We need a
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: damn quarterback for the brand when we talk about Cavaliers.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: We got the first two picks in the top four picks,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and what we need to do is pick say Kwon
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Bradley at number one, being the Jetston moved up to
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: get it for Kon. He made a name for himself
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: and then he would be bornever but hem schmil But
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I know what you better not do. Tell me and
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: let's talk about Lebron. Let's see what we look ahead.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Just gonna stay in Houston where you belong. This what's
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: gonna happen. We need to pick say Kuon Barkley number one.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Now the New York Giants and the Jets is next.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: The Jetston went up to get a quarterback. They really
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: won't break a may Fee. Oh you got that. Josh
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Allen boy out of Wyoming. Has he got the name right?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Then you got, oh, the Sam Donaldson boy out of USC,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: and then you got that other Josh boy out of
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: U c l A. Josh Rosen Do. We don't need
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: him because we Cleveland got snow in it. This little
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: boy been out here throwing in the sun all his life. Yeah,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: we come up there and frees your ass off in Cleveland,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: So we don't want interest in the Browns. I'm just asking. No,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: my heart is in the round. You put check up there.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: You don't want to. No, no, no, no, Steve, I
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: think that would help. No, no, no, And I ain't
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: got that much money. You're a great way more money
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: to me. They want they won't throw round some money,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: try something. I ain't got no trial money, all my
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: money for Steve. Because the draft is April six to
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: nine week, I'm taking off for the draft. I won't
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: be here for the draft. I'm gonna be too damn nervous.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: I'm taking off the draft three days of draft. They
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: won please don't expect me and to pill know what
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: they do. I might not make it in for day two. Yeah,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: they don't get sa Qua and a damn quarterback. I
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: probably gonna be in at camp for the second day.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: But now let me explain something to you. See the
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: number one rated quarterback in football in football is Sam
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Donaldson from USC. Then they got number four rated quarterback
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: is uh Baker Mayfield. Now it's a toss up between
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Josh Rosean and Josh Allen. I want to pick Josh Allen,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: the big country as boy from Wyoming that didn't get
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: no no college offers to come play. You talked about him,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: so he got speed, so he fun so he got that.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Now he don't broke all the damn college record and
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: that big country as boy, big ass boy to big
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: bucket Fana, that boy way bout damn the two fifty
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: about six six and this big old country as boy.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I predict he gonna be a big version of Terry Bradshaw.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: And you hell billy, you need to get that hell
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: billy that ball. See I'm telling you that's a good word.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Let's Mississippi produced dog Gone Brett Fall. You gotta get
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: the country as boy Louisiana produced Terry Bradshaw. Why only
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: the produced the big boy Josh Allen. He gonna be that.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: At the fourth pick, we get say Kwan and we
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: get h that big Josh Josh Allen. We got the
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: boy out of Buffalo, Taylor got Tyrod, he gonna start.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: We got a year for this boy to learn the system.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Then we got this big hell man throwing bucket fair
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Master sitting in the bitch bucket fair all his passes,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: it's hail Mary's. That's it. And then we have a draft.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Then I don't give damn who they pick after that,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: but the first two got to go. Right boy, boy boy,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: we can get a quarterback. And right now, if we
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: take the quarterback first, Sam Donaldson say Kwan might get
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: take by the Giants. The Jets don't want him to.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Jets gonna take a quarterback. Yeah, but we got two
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: more weeks of trade draft. Then y'all mess up on
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: getting you'all paperwork U in the in the middle of
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: the year with it. Now, what we messed up was
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: when we drunk. When we when we drafted your drunk
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: as class texts that that's where we bought that alcoholic
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: aggie is a swahealing word mean alcoholic drink. Two things.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: When we come back, guys, we're gonna talk about vassectomies.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, as promised when we left off, guys,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about vasectomies. Okay, it's not a pretty subject.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I know that. I know that. But as March Madness begins, uh,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: it might just be the time for the procedure. The
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: n C Double A basketball tournament and other major sporting
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: events are a very popular time for men to schedule
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: a vasectomy because doctors advised them to take it easy
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: for two or three days after the procedure. You sit
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: on the ice, right. And this is according to Dr
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Jim Dupree. He's an assistant professor of urology at the
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: University of Michigan. Uh, this is what he said in
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: a school news release. He said, in two thousand sixteen,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: more of a sect more of a sectomy is performed
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: during the first week of March Madness than during the
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: rest of the year. Okay, So the doctors want the
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: men to know that the procedure is quick, it's precise,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: it takes about twenty minutes, and it's done under local anesthesia. Okay, guys,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: most of the time they say they don't need a scalpel.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Most of the time. Oh oh, would say scalpel. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: it's okay. This is what the doctor. This is what
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: it says. The procedures quick and precise, Steve. It takes
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: about twenty minutes. It's done under local anesthesia. When you
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: say local anesthesia, what that means? It's not lone distance. Yeah,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: you're you're not put under. It's not general. Yeah, you
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: don't you're not under. You don't go under that I
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: got to be if you're going only to get your
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: teeth clean. Yeah, I looked down. Then you got a knife. Yeah,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: there's no way you can complete this if you see
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: you can uncross my legs after because I got radar
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: on it. Yeah, my whole package got a Viper radar
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: on it, even the Vipal system that the commercial, the
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: one that talked if a knife go down, my layer
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: crossed and you can't get them open, you got to
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: put me out to get my knees on the lock.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Mr Hardy, huh did you just what's your leg I
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: didn't know it, but Mr Harvey, we heard a chirping
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: sound in your lives crossed. Oh that's oh that's automatic.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: That's how I managed. Yeah. Oh I got a lock
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: on it. Yeah, yeah, cyclops saw that knife and shuttle.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying, if that, if you're thinking about it,
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: this is the time to do it. Doctor say, well, okay,
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: but anyway, it said, most of the time a scalpel
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: is not needed. Yeah, I'll tell you what if I
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: see it. That's why I have to be completely out,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: because if I see that knife. A matter of fact,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: they might need a lot of you about to procedure. Yeah,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: probably has a lot. Just tell me it's lazy and
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: have somebody down there with winning red pointer like yeah,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: and act like keep doing it, get my attention, help
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: me put them dark glasses on, so the light don't
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: it in my being so crazy that damn nice. This
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: procedure is over. Get your teeth kick you go ahead
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: to get your whole wire. This black kicked majo and located.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry I saw. All right, we'll be back up
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Wow,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: we're just about five weeks, five weeks, five short weeks
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: after the massacre that happened at a Stoneman Douglas High
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: School in Parkland, Florida. Well, this is unbelievable. Yesterday there
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: was another shooting at Great Mills High School in St.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: Mary's County, Maryland. The school was on lockdown and police
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: and FBI contained the scene very very early. We're grateful
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: for that, but I mean we have to say, I mean,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: when is this going to end? Enough is enough? We're
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: in constant prayer, constant prayer for our children who have
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: to go to school every day, and of course for
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: the safety of our educators and the administration at these schools.
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: And don't forget this coming Saturday, March Saturday in Washington,
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: d C. And other parts of the country as well.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: That is the March for Our Lives March Rally for increase,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: increased gun control and school safety measures. All right, that's
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: this coming Saturday. Nighthouse is already backed up off of
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: that conversation that Donald Trump had about raising the limit.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: All they're talking about now is background checks. And you
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: mean the age took off of the raised the limit
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: to buy an assault rifle. They got off of that
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: because he had lunch with the n r A and
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: they explained to him carefully, we will take down your
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: whole Dawn party. We will remove every quota and he
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: came right on out there and said, Okay, well, hopefully
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: they'll they'll hear the message. You know, when these young
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: students get out here on this coming Saturday with the rally. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: as soon as they turn eighteen, yeah yeah yeah. Would
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: you say, Carla there was I was saying, they're gonna
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: have rallies to all over the country. You know, folks
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: can't make it to Washington, d C. They're going to
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: be rallies all of the country. I saw some stuff
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: getting put together in Dallas, in Houston, just Atlanta, all
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: over the country. So you write, Steve, these kids are
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: trying to make a change and the right and look
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: forward to be organized too. It's not just gonna be
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: a bunch of kids everywhere. It's they have some grassroots
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: people helping them. George, George, Um Clooney and Oprah and
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: I think Day gave money to the rally. So it's
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: going to be organized. Yeah, a lot of celebrities. You
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: don't even need celebrities for this. The grassroots people can
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: change this. Celebrities are one vote celebrities. You know. Look,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: we bring attention to it with star power, but we're
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: not on the ground. We're not the boots on the
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: ground folks. The boots on the ground folks are the
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: ones who really make the difference. You know. We show
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: up at celebrities, we get some pr for it, and
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: then we've got to go back to have very very
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: busy lives. I'm just being correct with you. But it's
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: them kids, man, that's telling their parents. No, you don't understand.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: We do get it. As a matter of fact, we
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: get it better than you think. We get it. This
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: is all about money and power with y'all. But we're
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: the ones getting shot and we're tired of it. And
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: that's the message that they sent him. Yeah, that's the
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: message that they send it. And and and they mad
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: because they're back at school now and the desk they
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: used to have a free and in it they free
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: at the yah. It's so now they send up season.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: These ain't elementary kids that don't know how to verbalize
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: it and do nothing about it. These are kids who
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: are going to turn eighteen within the next year or so.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: Dim dim boys is made. And then you're sitting up
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: telling them, well, we're gonna do something. What we're gonna
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: meet when all right, we're coming up there all right,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: we'll be back with the last break of the day
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: and Steve's closing remarks right after this. You're listening to
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: the Steven Show. All right, here we are with our
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: last break of the day. Uh, pretty good day. We
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: had a good day today. Of course, we're praying for
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: the families in Maryland and the school and schools everywhere, educators, students,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: just you know, yeah everyone, yes, for sure, yes it is.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: And Steve, it's time now for your closing remarks. They've
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: been so on point. Well today, I thought I would
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: take this approach and just offer to everybody a um,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: a viewpoint that I take in life that has helped
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: me tremendously. Uh. You know, you can feel how you
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: want to feel about the law of attraction in the
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: book The Secret. A lot of people don't like the
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: book The Secrets say because it stole all of its
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: stuff from the Bible. That's exactly true. You're you're exactly
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: one correct. Everything that's a positive, everything about moving your
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: life forward, it's in the Bible. Now, I'm gonna be
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: honest with you, I don't know the Bible that well,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: I really don't. I went to Sunday School every Sunday.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: My mama was a Sunday school teacher for forty years.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: But I was playing football. I was trading baseball cards
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: and buying bubble gum with my church money. I was
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: doing what other little kids did. I probably missed a
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: lot of great lessons down there, but I picked up
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: on a few of them too, and a few of
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: them are picked up have been very, very valuable in
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: my life. The law of attraction is real. Whether you
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: believe in it or or or are aware of it
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: does not stop it from being in existence. The law
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: of attraction is real. What you put out is what
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: comes back to you. If you put out negativity all day,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: a lot of negative things gonna happen to you. If
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: you put out positive, a lot of positive things gonna
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: come to you. Now that's not to say nothing negative
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: will ever come your way, but you're compounding it by
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: putting out negativity. That's the law of attraction. So what
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna offer you today is a way to look
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: at life. And I'm gonna give you this right here.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: Have you ever tried this? Live your life in expectation.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Live your life in expectation. But when I say that,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: I'm talking about now. You can make the decision to
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: do it either way, folks, you can live your life
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: in the expectation of something negative happening, or you can
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: reverse it and live your life with the expectation of
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: something positive happening. I choose to live my life with
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: the expectation that something positive can happen to me. That's
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: how I wake up. I woke up this morning thanking
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: him already for a great day that he had allowed
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: me to see another one off. And I expect great
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: things to happen to me today. Now. Once again, that's
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: not to say something bad ain't gonna happen, because this
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: is life, but I'm not gonna attract it to me
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: with a bunch of negative thoughts. Oh Lord, something happening
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: a day. Oh my days don't ever go right. Seem
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: like trouble follow me always. It just seems like I
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: can't get a rate. Oh lord, Jesus, it just seemed
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: like everything I do turn out wrong. Do you know
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: somebody like that? I do? And do you know what day?
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: Life is like that all the time. But you can
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: reverse that, because the scripture says a man is as
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: he thinketh That's a scripture don't know where it is,
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: but it's in there, but you can find it. A
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: man is as he thinketh So I choose to think positively.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: I live my life in the expectation that something positive
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: can happen. Here's a scripture that I read every day.
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: It is Efphesians three twenty. I read this every day.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: I keep it in my iPhone. It's under my motivational section.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: I've underlined it in pink Donald Jr. I show it
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: to people all the time. I read it every day
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: Effhesians three twenty. And I have a lot life that
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: verifies that that scripture works, because I am living proof
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: that if you honor God, that He will manifest himself
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: in your life. He will show up in ways that
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: you have no idea how he would show up. Here
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: is the scripture. It is Ephesian three twenty. And I
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: declared this over my life every day Ephesians three twenty.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: I declared over my life that God will do exceedingly
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: abundantly above all that I ask or think, because I
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: honor Him, his blessings will chase me down and overtake me.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: I will be in the right place at the right time.
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: People will go out of their way to be good
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: to me. I am surrounded by God's favor. This is
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: my declaration. I read it every day every day. Once again,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: that don't mean nothing bad ain't gonna happen to me.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: But guess what it does mean that a whole lot
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: of good is gonna happen to me. The good off
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: sets the bad in my life by a landslide. No
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: matter what the haters try to do, say print right,
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: talk when they get through talking. Look at what God
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: has done for me simply because I choose to honor him.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: His blessings would chase me down and overtake me. Don't
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: you want that? Wouldn't you love it if God's blessings
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: would chase you down and overtake you. You have an
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: opportunity to do that by living your life with the
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: life of expectation. Do yourself a favor Rea Efesian three twenty.
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: Get the New Testament version where you can really understand
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: what it's saying, or if you're cool enough with the
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: Old King j version, do that. But put that in
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: your life and see what happens to you. Y'all have
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: a great week here. I'm out of here. Have a
