- 0:39Speaker 1: I don't join join me to be doing me out
- 1:00Speaker 1: of you turning. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Turn you haven't got to turn them out. Then turn
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your uh huh,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I shall well, good morning everybody. You'll listening to the voice,
- 2:08Speaker 1: come on dig me now, One and only Steve Arvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got a radio show, man, old Man. Old Man symbolizes
- 2:16Speaker 1: just one thing to me. Man, It's just a constant
- 2:18Speaker 1: remind of exactly how good God has been to me
- 2:21Speaker 1: over the years. And I'm thank him for it too,
- 2:24Speaker 1: because I realize every day that I wake up that
- 2:26Speaker 1: I would be nothing without him. That everything I am
- 2:30Speaker 1: that's any good in me, I owe to him. Now.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Have I made some mistakes along the way, yep, bunches,
- 2:38Speaker 1: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:42Speaker 1: along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I
- 2:47Speaker 1: have in the past, because a lot of stuff I
- 2:50Speaker 1: know better now, but you're still going to make mistakes now,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you know. Hopefully I've limited the amount of intentional errors
- 3:01Speaker 1: in my life. I've wiped quite a few of those out.
- 3:05Speaker 1: But from time to time, because we're human, we're going
- 3:08Speaker 1: to make a mistake every now and then. The trick,
- 3:11Speaker 1: what it is, y'all's not to let the devil deceive
- 3:14Speaker 1: you into thinking that once you make that mistake, that
- 3:17Speaker 1: that's it. You can't do it. You're falling off the wagon.
- 3:21Speaker 1: You can't reboard it. That's the biggest trick that he uses.
- 3:25Speaker 1: He makes you think that if you keep stumbling, that
- 3:30Speaker 1: you can't run the race. It kind of reminds me
- 3:36Speaker 1: of a marathon runner. From time to time I watch
- 3:39Speaker 1: him on TV, and you'll see some people who finish
- 3:43Speaker 1: the race, you know, in a in a nice pace.
- 3:48Speaker 1: You see people finish the race sprinting towards the finished line.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But every now and then you'll watch a marathon and
- 3:56Speaker 1: you'll see a runner and the runner is in really,
- 4:01Speaker 1: really bad shape. The key is they finish the race. See,
- 4:08Speaker 1: you don't get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble,
- 4:14Speaker 1: You don't. They don't. They don't take your opportunity to
- 4:19Speaker 1: finish the race because you keep falling. That's not the key.
- 4:24Speaker 1: The key is finishing. And a lot of times what
- 4:27Speaker 1: the devil does is he makes you think that because
- 4:31Speaker 1: you keep stumbling, because you're swaying from side to side,
- 4:35Speaker 1: that you know you out the race. Well, that's not
- 4:38Speaker 1: the case. And see and then this thing called life,
- 4:42Speaker 1: let me help you understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints
- 4:46Speaker 1: to the tape in this one. Nobody just runs free
- 4:49Speaker 1: and clear as some people running faster than you and
- 4:53Speaker 1: all like this. And some people gonna get to the
- 4:55Speaker 1: end before you let them go ahead. And when the
- 4:57Speaker 1: end come, the dcome. I ain't in the rush to
- 4:59Speaker 1: get to the end. But in this race, though, when
- 5:03Speaker 1: you're stumbling and you're falling, it's a part of it.
- 5:06Speaker 1: No one gets through this race without stumbling and falling,
- 5:10Speaker 1: swaying from side to side. So don't let the enemy
- 5:14Speaker 1: deceive you into thinking that it's over. I try to
- 5:19Speaker 1: be encouraging to people because I don't want people to
- 5:23Speaker 1: get stuck on this thing, you know. And my walk
- 5:26Speaker 1: is very different from a lot of people's walks. And
- 5:28Speaker 1: then I know a lot of people who walking in
- 5:30Speaker 1: faith the way I'm walking in faith. But my thing
- 5:33Speaker 1: in the morning is just to remind those that is
- 5:36Speaker 1: not a perfect walk man, that it's not something that's
- 5:40Speaker 1: set up where you're gonna be skipping through life scot
- 5:44Speaker 1: free without any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it
- 5:47Speaker 1: over and over and over again because, like I said,
- 5:50Speaker 1: when I was in DC, my boy Hondo said this
- 5:54Speaker 1: to me, and it just kind of stuck with me
- 5:55Speaker 1: that the road to construct, the road to successes always
- 5:59Speaker 1: under instruction. You have to figure and count on the
- 6:04Speaker 1: setbacks and the pitfalls. But it's those people that that
- 6:08Speaker 1: that that fight through will be the victors in the end.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere sitting down
- 6:17Speaker 1: every time something goes down. It's going to go down.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It's a part of it. It's going to happen. It's
- 6:25Speaker 1: going to occur that are going to be setbacks. If
- 6:28Speaker 1: you go and sit down every time there's a setback,
- 6:33Speaker 1: that's not how this works. It is designed that way.
- 6:36Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success
- 6:43Speaker 1: is just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:46Speaker 1: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more
- 6:51Speaker 1: now don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:57Speaker 1: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 7:00Speaker 1: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considers successful.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considers successful. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:12Speaker 1: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:20Speaker 1: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:26Speaker 1: tied up into church. Your level of success could be
- 7:29Speaker 1: tied up into boys clubs. It could be any number
- 7:33Speaker 1: of things. Whatever your level of success is, you have
- 7:37Speaker 1: to determine what that is you and the best way
- 7:40Speaker 1: to determine that is to get in touch with your maker,
- 7:44Speaker 1: who created you, to find out what your mission and
- 7:48Speaker 1: your purpose is so he can put you on track.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my son, and we
- 7:55Speaker 1: were talking about getting on the path that God has
- 7:59Speaker 1: set up for you. So many times we find ourselves
- 8:03Speaker 1: fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because we
- 8:07Speaker 1: have no idea where we're headed. It's like one of
- 8:12Speaker 1: my own sayings that I have at my mentoring camp
- 8:16Speaker 1: for boys is is that a boy without a male
- 8:21Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. See
- 8:26Speaker 1: if you don't have a map laid out in front
- 8:30Speaker 1: of you of where you're going when you wake up
- 8:34Speaker 1: every day. That pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 8:40Speaker 1: the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 8:47Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 8:52Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 8:56Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing
- 8:59Speaker 1: the moment you can identify that it is the moment
- 9:03Speaker 1: that you get started waking up with purpose, with the
- 9:06Speaker 1: sense of direction. When you kill the sense of I
- 9:10Speaker 1: don't know what's next or what to do. Now, there's
- 9:12Speaker 1: going to be some confusing moments no matter what happened,
- 9:15Speaker 1: it's going to be some uncertainty, but at least you'll
- 9:18Speaker 1: know where you're going. So if you're tied a waking
- 9:20Speaker 1: up feeling loss, abandon confused, don't know what to do,
- 9:26Speaker 1: don't know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back
- 9:30Speaker 1: to your makeup. Because when he created you, he had
- 9:34Speaker 1: a plan for you. When he created you, he had
- 9:38Speaker 1: a path for you. Now we've made some decisions to
- 9:41Speaker 1: get off of both of those, the mission and the path.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But God can get you right back on track. Do
- 9:48Speaker 1: that today, asking what you're supposed to be doing, and listen.
- 9:54Speaker 1: God has all the answers if you form the relationship. Okay,
- 10:03Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people from all around
- 10:06Speaker 1: the world. You are listening to the baddest morning show
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the land. This is a Steve Harvey Morning Show, Yale.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Today's show is dedicated to people who don't have pleasant voices.
- 10:22Speaker 1: All of you who when you talk, it sound like
- 10:26Speaker 1: a shovel getting drug down the driveway. Those of you
- 10:30Speaker 1: who speak and sound like chalk going across the black boys.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Those of you who speak and sound like a plate
- 10:39Speaker 1: in the synk with a little grit under. Those of you,
- 10:43Speaker 1: when you talk it sound like a toilet flushing. This
- 10:48Speaker 1: show is dedicated to people with unpleasant voices. Oh now,
- 10:54Speaker 1: they can be pleasant people, they can be very bright people.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I've all didn't find that most of them are extremely
- 11:02Speaker 1: intelligent and sweet people. But the voice decries and defies
- 11:08Speaker 1: all that is presented by him. I've seen cute girls
- 11:12Speaker 1: with uncredibly irritating voices. Ladies and gentlemen, this show is
- 11:18Speaker 1: dedicated to Mississippi Money. This show is dedicated to Tanya,
- 11:25Speaker 1: my stage crew. Tanya her Monica be together talking. It's
- 11:33Speaker 1: like a rap group called Squeaky and Scratching. Hey, Steve,
- 11:38Speaker 1: how are you doing? I need a demonstration later? Please? Okay? Well,
- 11:43Speaker 1: ain't no problem, hey, Steve. Hey, Shirley moaning, mornarybody, what's
- 11:54Speaker 1: wrong wrong? No? Oh? You didn't sound like your normal
- 11:58Speaker 1: cheerful self today. I'm trying to to be one of
- 12:00Speaker 1: the voices. Too late. I didn't Junior. I wasn't even
- 12:08Speaker 1: think about you. I won't throw you in. I know,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I know when it was coming. Well, let's hear Squeaky
- 12:14Speaker 1: and scratchy Steve. Hey, mister e Hi, mister Harby, how
- 12:19Speaker 1: are you today? Welcome to family? Few? He don't need
- 12:22Speaker 1: to be welcome to family feud child we need and
- 12:25Speaker 1: we ain't bring no catfish with it? Now? Who was good?
- 12:29Speaker 1: That's Monica? This how happy boy? Good morning man today today?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Calling him Charlotte today. Gunpoint yeah, gunpoint and fit the
- 12:50Speaker 1: c into Monica, Steve, what I mean? Quits on her nerves.
- 13:00Speaker 1: She doesn't like noise. I'm actually working at a radio shop.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I don't know So that's who dedicated and we'll be
- 13:10Speaker 1: back with something funny at thirty two after the hour.
- 13:13Speaker 1: This is going to be good, Steve. You're listening, all right,
- 13:18Speaker 1: It's time for something funny, Steve. We want you to
- 13:22Speaker 1: try and help people get their next jobs simply by crying. Okay,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what this is all about.
- 13:28Speaker 1: It says breaking out some tears may help you land
- 13:32Speaker 1: your next job during a job interview, you definitely want
- 13:36Speaker 1: them to remember you, and it turns out a few
- 13:38Speaker 1: tears just might do the trick. While you may think
- 13:42Speaker 1: that crying during the interview process would blow your chances
- 13:45Speaker 1: of getting a job, there are some people who say
- 13:48Speaker 1: it actually works wonders. So okay, well let's go here. Okay,
- 13:55Speaker 1: we're in a job interview and Carla are interviewing me,
- 14:03Speaker 1: and so let's go and let's start in. Let's start
- 14:06Speaker 1: interview again. Well, good morning, mister Harvey, how are you today? Fine?
- 14:10Speaker 1: How are your Harvey? Mister Strawberry, mister Miles, thank you
- 14:14Speaker 1: for having me such an opportunity. All right, so mister Harvy,
- 14:18Speaker 1: let's get start. I wanted to ask you what exactly, um,
- 14:20Speaker 1: what makes you qualify for this job. Well, having had
- 14:24Speaker 1: several jobs before that gave me the experience of the
- 14:28Speaker 1: exact thing that you folks are looking for. This pretty
- 14:31Speaker 1: much made me qualify. And you know, everybody that I've
- 14:37Speaker 1: ever worked with have always said I was really just overqualified.
- 14:41Speaker 1: So here, um, let me ask you something, mister Harvey.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Why did you leave your last job? Oh? God, what
- 15:00Speaker 1: difficult that you bought this up? Ye? Oh god, do
- 15:06Speaker 1: you need am I was. I was there for sixteen
- 15:12Speaker 1: years and no, really, you know, they just came in
- 15:19Speaker 1: and they just closed it. I mean it's they just
- 15:26Speaker 1: shut it, shut the doors. Well, let me I was
- 15:31Speaker 1: in the parking lot when it had happened. I was
- 15:36Speaker 1: standing there. Jane Jane put them crying, mister Harvey. No, no,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not. It was just such amicas Jane
- 15:53Speaker 1: to talking about interview. It's happy. Let me jump in here, okay,
- 15:58Speaker 1: just big, okay. Before we were all I wanted to
- 16:07Speaker 1: ask you, mister Harvey. You know, a job like this,
- 16:10Speaker 1: you're gonna be working with a lot of people. You're
- 16:12Speaker 1: gonna be doing a lot of interacting. Uh, you know,
- 16:15Speaker 1: how do you do you have the skill set to
- 16:17Speaker 1: actually interact with other people. Yeah, exuse me. Yeah, I'm interacted, quam. Sorry,
- 16:25Speaker 1: doesn't take much, we see. Yeah, I interact with people
- 16:32Speaker 1: from time to time. You just talking about it sort
- 16:36Speaker 1: of gets me. No, no, oh no, I'm fun fun
- 16:40Speaker 1: with other people. Um, mister Harvey, this is a sales
- 16:44Speaker 1: position we're um looking to hire you for, and we
- 16:48Speaker 1: just want to make sure that you're the right person.
- 16:51Speaker 1: As Thomas mentioned earlier, you have the right qualifications for
- 16:55Speaker 1: this position. You have to interact with people, you have
- 16:59Speaker 1: to sell our product, and you know people buy you
- 17:04Speaker 1: first before they even buy the products. So I just
- 17:08Speaker 1: want to make sure that that, um, you know, this
- 17:11Speaker 1: little crying thing I hear, um, it's it's not really
- 17:16Speaker 1: listen eight, I'm just I don't cry. I got a
- 17:21Speaker 1: question for you, But I don't just cry. You know
- 17:26Speaker 1: all this time sounds like you do. I'm out of work.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm crying because I'm out of work. Yeah, there's no
- 17:34Speaker 1: crying at work. I don't want I don't not hear yet.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I can stop you cry. Two of you one work.
- 17:54Speaker 1: What are your strengths. Let's talk about something positive. I
- 18:01Speaker 1: can absoulutely pull it together. That's one of my strokes.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I promise you, I cam, if you just hired me,
- 18:10Speaker 1: just give me a job. You'll see. It's like instant.
- 18:14Speaker 1: If you just say you're hired, you begin to show
- 18:20Speaker 1: you city g the eighteenth interview. This is the third level. This,
- 18:27Speaker 1: this is supposed to be it. I was told by
- 18:30Speaker 1: your supervisor that it wouldn't we wouldn't even be here
- 18:34Speaker 1: to cloaking. Now here I am, and we're still talking
- 18:38Speaker 1: to a job. Well, this is That's why it's called
- 18:44Speaker 1: a process, mister Harvey. Oh process, ye oh father, the
- 18:50Speaker 1: interview process suffer. Oh Jesus, oh Jesus. Um, he'll stop. Please. Well,
- 19:04Speaker 1: let's let's evaluate miss Shirley Strawberry Carlin. Do you think
- 19:07Speaker 1: we have the right person for the job. Well, how
- 19:10Speaker 1: about we let this person sell themselves in thirty seconds
- 19:14Speaker 1: to us? Okay, yeah, sounds good. Yeah, mister Harvey, could
- 19:17Speaker 1: you sell yourself for thirty seconds to us? Please? Old,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you need a moment, you want to go out, let
- 19:25Speaker 1: me know, okay, and you can start now and now.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And I believe that I'm extremely qualified for this position
- 19:35Speaker 1: due to the fact that I'm probably the most experienced
- 19:38Speaker 1: candidate that you'll meet from time to time. I've also
- 19:42Speaker 1: discovered that I have several traits that this company's lacking,
- 19:45Speaker 1: and I can be a most fulfilling factor in developing
- 19:50Speaker 1: the app loot direction of your firm and your company.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I will be but an asset, and that is why
- 19:58Speaker 1: I think I should have the job. Okay, all right,
- 20:02Speaker 1: he said a mountain right, no tears. Okay, if you're
- 20:07Speaker 1: asking me, I would say he's hired. All right. Coming
- 20:10Speaker 1: up next, guys, you know it's Monday, so you know
- 20:12Speaker 1: what that means. Church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon
- 20:15Speaker 1: death Jam right after this. You're listening right now, you
- 20:24Speaker 1: know what we're gonna talk about church and church complaints.
- 20:30Speaker 1: We are here, oh most gracious by a dollarc forgive
- 20:42Speaker 1: it and mountain nutraction Nash giveball of greatness. Oh lord.
- 20:52Speaker 1: We are here to handle church complaints. Deacon death Jam
- 20:58Speaker 1: is to represent WI or the complaints section for this
- 21:03Speaker 1: raggedy busted what membership? What we have? Good membership past
- 21:09Speaker 1: it we just have all the time. Yeah you ready,
- 21:19Speaker 1: I can't say nothingless out here. Complaint all right? To
- 21:22Speaker 1: start this thing off, our sister older b Giddri is
- 21:26Speaker 1: pregnant with thirty two kids and she is due this
- 21:31Speaker 1: coming Friday. She is asking members of the church does
- 21:35Speaker 1: sponsor each child, and she is also starting her own
- 21:40Speaker 1: adoption program. Well, Sister guildry or talk to her about
- 21:47Speaker 1: the gig is up. Sister Guidri has not had thirty
- 21:53Speaker 1: two kids. He has taken in thirty two kids. And
- 22:00Speaker 1: all of the kids she has taken in ain't children
- 22:04Speaker 1: any more. It's two forty eight year old men staving
- 22:12Speaker 1: thirty four year olds, nine twenty nine year olds and
- 22:20Speaker 1: eleven one of them one boy just turned eighteen, he
- 22:25Speaker 1: almost out, and ten there's one that's fifty four man.
- 22:33Speaker 1: The rest of them is are you saying out of
- 22:37Speaker 1: the thirty two, one of them one of them and
- 22:39Speaker 1: we're here forty three year old and that them damns
- 22:42Speaker 1: the kids. So we are giving nothing else because all
- 22:45Speaker 1: of them should be working. Yeah, but if she wants
- 22:50Speaker 1: to start an adoption agency, where don't nobody want to adopt?
- 22:54Speaker 1: Or damn forty year old man. Now we're not taking
- 22:58Speaker 1: on all that. It's hard enough feeding kid. Now you're
- 23:03Speaker 1: trying to figure out a grown man Bob movement, Patty
- 23:11Speaker 1: normal money for her? All right, let's move on past
- 23:15Speaker 1: the Adam and even ministry is asking when can they
- 23:20Speaker 1: come new to church to represent who they are? Sister
- 23:24Speaker 1: why need a whill Cox is the president and she
- 23:27Speaker 1: is asking when can they come newde to represent their
- 23:31Speaker 1: own men? Now I've seen sister will Cox clothed? Yeah, yes,
- 23:38Speaker 1: why is she in the Adam and even I don't
- 23:44Speaker 1: understand what you mean when you say that, Oh you don't.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I think it's obvious. We got a matter of fact.
- 23:52Speaker 1: That's why we can't do it. Because she hand picked
- 23:56Speaker 1: everybody in there, and they're all friends, and they meet
- 24:01Speaker 1: three times a week at Golden Corral. They have buffet
- 24:07Speaker 1: busting content, buffet busting content. They're going there and see
- 24:13Speaker 1: what you one of them can bust the buffet? Who
- 24:15Speaker 1: can get put out first? Where? Yeah, the roads are good?
- 24:24Speaker 1: It stay in your voice, because you sound a lot
- 24:27Speaker 1: like Tommy right now telling me to stay in mind.
- 24:34Speaker 1: All of a sudden, I was just talking in nephew
- 24:36Speaker 1: Tommy morning along past mister delorious Cavanaugh pastor. As you know,
- 24:47Speaker 1: she just had knee surgery. She couldn't afford the part
- 24:51Speaker 1: that allows you allows her to bend, so she stands
- 24:55Speaker 1: the entire service. She's asking if if we can buy
- 24:59Speaker 1: her a stand up bathroom. He's been going out of
- 25:03Speaker 1: her window at the house and she lives on the
- 25:06Speaker 1: third floor. People below have been really catching it. We're
- 25:12Speaker 1: not really understanding what you're saying. Did you think me
- 25:15Speaker 1: say that one more time? The lord? It's Calvin now
- 25:21Speaker 1: being now, what's she doing in the bathroom? What I'm saying?
- 25:24Speaker 1: She's asking She stands the entire time. She can't see,
- 25:29Speaker 1: she can't being padded. He's asking if we could buy
- 25:32Speaker 1: her a stand up bathroom. He's been going out of

- 28:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening Steve
- 28:12Speaker 1: Morning Show. Um, Steve, you might enjoy this. Have a
- 28:18Speaker 1: question for Junior and Joe Anthony Brown one and only. Uh,
- 28:23Speaker 1: since you guys are the single guys on the show,
- 28:25Speaker 1: does being on the radio every day make it harder
- 28:29Speaker 1: for you guys to date or does it? No? You
- 28:31Speaker 1: make it easier. Yeah, you're married, he's married. What he
- 28:37Speaker 1: would make it hard? All right? Then you go first
- 28:48Speaker 1: tell me what? Yeah, people hearing what you're getting through.
- 28:56Speaker 1: What you're going through? Here about you wife and he's
- 28:58Speaker 1: in a difficult situation. You've managed to get around it though.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I'm sure yes, your wife? I mean what Junior? This
- 29:12Speaker 1: absolutely from himself? Yeah, himself. Nah, it's absolutely no problem. Nah,
- 29:20Speaker 1: they don't even know who hell I am. Hey, I
- 29:25Speaker 1: walk outside every day, don't get stopped. I'm meeting them everywhere. Restaurants,
- 29:30Speaker 1: the laundry, matt the mall. I ain't got no problem. Well,
- 29:36Speaker 1: I can. I can truly say this that from being
- 29:38Speaker 1: on the radio, people recognize you and you probably had
- 29:40Speaker 1: just they recognize you from your voice. They can hear
- 29:42Speaker 1: your voice. Oh I heard radio. But I'm here to
- 29:45Speaker 1: tell you to tap on the shoulder that I get
- 29:48Speaker 1: and when I turn around. All I'm saying when I
- 29:52Speaker 1: get the you know, the tap on the shoulder, and
- 29:54Speaker 1: then I turn around. When I turn around, it's never
- 29:59Speaker 1: and I I mean never, never worth turning around. I
- 30:08Speaker 1: do you think you're gonna say that? I could just
- 30:12Speaker 1: keep going bout you know a lot of times I
- 30:15Speaker 1: think it's a dude, you on radio, right, and then
- 30:19Speaker 1: I turn around and it's to my surprise that that
- 30:26Speaker 1: was a woman. It's never fine, never touched me. And
- 30:34Speaker 1: it's difficult for y'all because a person gets to hear
- 30:40Speaker 1: before they meet you already that they ignit your reputation.
- 30:47Speaker 1: It's almost kind of well, Steve, I mean, you're the
- 30:54Speaker 1: relationship expert on the show. Help them they do? Have
- 31:01Speaker 1: you ever given any advice? Can't? And then Junior ain't
- 31:05Speaker 1: never been mad, Junior ain't got no kids. Well he's young,
- 31:10Speaker 1: he's only thirty two or something something. I don't know
- 31:12Speaker 1: what something thirty something thirty nine, she's off by seven
- 31:17Speaker 1: thirty nine? Why gave me? I don't believe that. Gab
- 31:26Speaker 1: trying to say, can't be fine? Wh why I can't
- 31:33Speaker 1: be fine? I can't. So when you were a little
- 31:39Speaker 1: you know, boys, voices change and what about fourteen or something?
- 31:43Speaker 1: It changed? No, you just changed to when he when
- 31:49Speaker 1: he was when he was before it changed? He just
- 31:51Speaker 1: sound ain't y'all be detecting to me? I'm everybody, I'm junior. Hey,
- 32:10Speaker 1: every stupid and then when he got fourteen it changed it?
- 32:16Speaker 1: Twe Why sound like now you know what I was
- 32:25Speaker 1: sharing to be all time? Be hapen their kids and
- 32:29Speaker 1: every day right now, Junior? Yeah, exactly right. I mean
- 32:37Speaker 1: I could, I'll fight. That's what I had to learn
- 32:39Speaker 1: how to fight be they try. But when I've been
- 32:41Speaker 1: understand you've been stopped talking about chicken with Mysa. I'm
- 32:51Speaker 1: telling about you want none of this. What you've been

- 33:09Speaker 1: that's true. Yeah, you ain't Mike Junior. It's a bit
- 33:15Speaker 1: difference between Mike Tyson and Junior. Huge gift because you're
- 33:20Speaker 1: just sitting there, but you're just trying to talk like
- 33:22Speaker 1: you bad? What you look at that sucker? What is
- 33:27Speaker 1: your pocket? Just so glad? Else? Ya? And look, kid,
- 33:36Speaker 1: don't make me dig fit. I know you don't want
- 33:40Speaker 1: me to dig gofit? You That was Junior? What age
- 33:47Speaker 1: at thirteen? I don't put my shoe so far up
- 33:50Speaker 1: in the crack of your tail. You choke on the
- 33:53Speaker 1: shoe laces. Now what does he summon? Humpty dumpty said
- 33:59Speaker 1: on what ain't he's doing you? Yeah? But na look
- 34:05Speaker 1: at me? Yeah, I sound like a grown ass made.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Oh this show is really really ignorant. And I was
- 34:19Speaker 1: sitting up in here with me and my homie. We
- 34:21Speaker 1: were ribbing a bank one time. Alight, all right, we'll
- 34:25Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 34:28Speaker 1: right after. You're listening to the show. Now. This is
- 34:34Speaker 1: according to Business Journal, If given the choice, forty one
- 34:38Speaker 1: percent of people would actually rather have more paid vacation
- 34:41Speaker 1: time than a paid raise. While we're always, yeah, we're
- 34:46Speaker 1: always hearing about US employees not using a ball. They're
- 34:48Speaker 1: paid vacation each year. It seems like a lot of
- 34:51Speaker 1: folks really do want more time off. Do you think
- 34:54Speaker 1: you'd rather have more vacation time or a paid race. Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I'm kind of on the fence with this one because
- 35:02Speaker 1: I don't take a lot of vacation, which is crazy.
- 35:05Speaker 1: If you give me sick days, I'm taking them, every
- 35:07Speaker 1: last one, every last one. I don't take a lot
- 35:10Speaker 1: of vacation. I really don't. Never tell me. I don't
- 35:12Speaker 1: hand them. It ain't an option from me. You got
- 35:15Speaker 1: to tell me about a six days in vacation. Yeah.
- 35:18Speaker 1: So if you don't say no, no, I'm on. Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 1: I guarantee I'm taking my sick days. No. I guess
- 35:22Speaker 1: I would be I get a pay raise, I guess
- 35:24Speaker 1: i'd be that that person. Yeah, instead of vacation days.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Because I barely rarely take the ones that I have.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be a vacation right now? Am I
- 35:33Speaker 1: a workaholic? Well? I think your business I want to
- 35:37Speaker 1: allow you. I think I think you're I think you're
- 35:40Speaker 1: bug buess borderline tips off into stupids. You can't send
- 35:47Speaker 1: you and if your bushiness is overrunning you. Yeah, and
- 35:56Speaker 1: it tips over into stupidity, because why your ass won't
- 36:01Speaker 1: take your vacation. Supposed to be on vacation. Now take
- 36:05Speaker 1: it in for it and I put in for it,
- 36:09Speaker 1: and I'm here. You can have your days. Let me
- 36:14Speaker 1: tell you something, Okay, I totally steve. You can take
- 36:20Speaker 1: off from now all of your jobs and we'll just
- 36:24Speaker 1: send you the check. Oh yeah, who wouldn't sign up
- 36:26Speaker 1: for that? My ass is going, yeah, oh I'm doing that.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I'm gone, gone, go Okay, let me ask you this quick.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Whatever your salary is. If somebody gave you three years
- 36:38Speaker 1: of your salary and gave it to you at one time, yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 1: would you quit your job? No? Hell now no, No,
- 36:46Speaker 1: I got to be in here and running the bullet
- 36:48Speaker 1: move over. I like I like having a purpose. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 1: I think that's what I like. Having a purpose. Definitely,
- 36:57Speaker 1: I have something. I like it. So, so let me
- 37:00Speaker 1: ask you your salary. Yeah, your salary for three years?
- 37:05Speaker 1: Would you quit all of your yeah, straight out of here? Yeah,
- 37:10Speaker 1: well a little different out here, and would not and
- 37:15Speaker 1: not three home and tell Marjorie and she'd be all
- 37:20Speaker 1: right with that decision. This is what we're gonna do
- 37:23Speaker 1: it well, you can live off of it. Let me
- 37:27Speaker 1: tell you what we're gonna do. Now, listen to me.
- 37:29Speaker 1: We're gonna slow down. I'm gonna slow down. We're gonna
- 37:33Speaker 1: buy a couple of things. We're gonna lock it down.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna go back and get another show. All right,

- 37:56Speaker 1: for one bit he muscle his way in on hand
- 37:59Speaker 1: and put out all this day I'm talking on this.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I'm sorry. All right, Hits, we got a fresh one
- 38:10Speaker 1: for you today, Steve. I don't think Shirley if it's
- 38:12Speaker 1: coming up with the concept of us Sherley. This Charlie

- 38:36Speaker 1: is stress, not blessed. Steve Harvey money show man. I'm

- 43:09Speaker 1: Hi on just a second, let me count it down. Okay, Hi,
- 43:14Speaker 1: how are you trying to reach I'm trying to reach Angela?
- 43:16Speaker 1: This is Angela? Oh yeah, this see Hi Angela. This
- 43:20Speaker 1: is Chip Chip. I'm the new camp director for the
- 43:23Speaker 1: cheerleading camp for the summer. Oh hi, Chimp, what can
- 43:25Speaker 1: I do for you? I just wanted to give you
- 43:27Speaker 1: a courtesy call. Your daughter. You've got her signed up
- 43:29Speaker 1: for four weeks with the camp, right yeah, but Joe, Yeah,
- 43:34Speaker 1: this is your guys, third year being a part of
- 43:36Speaker 1: the camp. Yep, and she's really excited. She loved coming
- 43:39Speaker 1: to the camp and we think it's a great thing
- 43:41Speaker 1: for her to be involved in. What's up? Okay, you
- 43:43Speaker 1: guys just finished the whole cheerleading season two? Am I right?
- 43:46Speaker 1: The competition season? Yes, that's coming off of that, right right, Okay, Well,
- 43:51Speaker 1: we're getting ready for the summer. You know, everybody's excited
- 43:53Speaker 1: about coming out and being a part of what's going on.
- 43:55Speaker 1: So here's what I wanted to give you a little bit.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm the new camp director. I was
- 44:01Speaker 1: just starting at this job. I got a few notes
- 44:03Speaker 1: that um that we're given to me about about so
- 44:07Speaker 1: I wanted to give you a call and see if
- 44:09Speaker 1: I could talk to you about it. A few notes
- 44:11Speaker 1: given to you about it, Yeah, just a couple of notes.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I don't think it's anything that we can make sure
- 44:15Speaker 1: it's okay. What kind of note. Well, it's been brought
- 44:18Speaker 1: to my attention that some of the parents whose daughters
- 44:20Speaker 1: are out there as well, there's gonna be there this summer.
- 44:23Speaker 1: A little concern about her being on top of the
- 44:27Speaker 1: pyramid that she's uh is getting a little heavy, should
- 44:31Speaker 1: she uh wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 44:35Speaker 1: wait wait ho ho ho? You calling me about some
- 44:39Speaker 1: some other parents and saying about how big my child
- 44:43Speaker 1: is or how much my child? Way is that? What
- 44:47Speaker 1: I wanted to let you know was we're gonna put
- 44:49Speaker 1: it as a base. Oh no, you ain't gonna put
- 44:54Speaker 1: no base. I don't already pay my money. And what
- 44:56Speaker 1: you say? Your name is Chip? And um, how long
- 44:59Speaker 1: have you you've been the director? Because I was just
- 45:01Speaker 1: up there two weeks ago and they told me that
- 45:03Speaker 1: she was gonna be the same position that she was
- 45:07Speaker 1: last year, because that is what worked, that's the formation
- 45:09Speaker 1: that worked. So I don't even know what you supposedly
- 45:12Speaker 1: that some of the girls are complaining that she's too
- 45:14Speaker 1: heavy to hold up. So that's what it seems to
- 45:16Speaker 1: be the problem in there. They're not getting a strong
- 45:18Speaker 1: enough pier men. And I'm wait a minute, wait, wait
- 45:22Speaker 1: a minute. I know, well she ain't the biggest one.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I felt, have you been myself? My child is not
- 45:27Speaker 1: the biggest child lot there when it because I would
- 45:30Speaker 1: see you, I've not seen these Chileys and if some
- 45:32Speaker 1: baby so most I felt, okay, hang on a second, Angela,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I want you to calm down a bit now. Aint
- 45:37Speaker 1: nobody's gonna calm down because I'd not already paid my money,
- 45:39Speaker 1: and that I'll be talking about what parents? What Harrison said?
- 45:43Speaker 1: Something is it? Uh? Is it carries? Man? I'm not.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I'm not gonna state who it is, but let's just
- 45:48Speaker 1: say it was several Harris has got something to say
- 45:52Speaker 1: about my child and her position on the chimleying squad.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Because if you ain't going to fuck up no names,
- 45:57Speaker 1: then I'm gonna tell what you're calling me about. I'll
- 45:59Speaker 1: tell you one thing. When she get out there, I
- 46:02Speaker 1: didn't pay my money. She'd better not be on no base.
- 46:05Speaker 1: She better be in the hour. I guarantee you that, right. Nah,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I've been hanging with these seer and I ain't nobody
- 46:11Speaker 1: said nothing to me about in my way and all that. Okay, Angela,
- 46:15Speaker 1: can you hear me? I just wanted you to hear
- 46:17Speaker 1: me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet. Once
- 46:20Speaker 1: I see them, I will critique what I think. You
- 46:23Speaker 1: don't even need to be calling me because you ain't
- 46:24Speaker 1: even seen nothing. So you calling me with him? He
- 46:26Speaker 1: says she's from some other parents. That's been skinny and
- 46:29Speaker 1: gritted in my face, and they now wanted you been
- 46:32Speaker 1: nothing to me. They have been in my house. We
- 46:34Speaker 1: didn't have parties, always have to competition every weekend, every
- 46:37Speaker 1: other day, and they couldn't say nothing to me about
- 46:39Speaker 1: my baby. I tell you what, why don't you call
- 46:42Speaker 1: your girls on the three way? Miss the chip? If
- 46:45Speaker 1: you can't call him on the three I got them, No,
- 46:48Speaker 1: I call him on the three way. Okay, okay man.

- 49:29Speaker 1: she's a she's a backspot, she's a bass. Okay, yeah,
- 49:32Speaker 1: so she would be the one holding up the flyer
- 49:35Speaker 1: and that's the person that everybody don't want to drop
- 49:37Speaker 1: their baby. Yeah, but they need to watch the weight. Yeah,
- 49:42Speaker 1: right right, somebody got to be the base. Yeah, somebody
- 49:48Speaker 1: got to be the fly. Yeah. Now your baby can't
- 49:50Speaker 1: be the fly. Yeah, yeah, we ain't got nobody want
- 49:54Speaker 1: to be the base. Want to be the base because
- 49:56Speaker 1: she's the tallest, she was one of the yah. But
- 49:58Speaker 1: if your baby won't fit, Yeah, that baby needs to bottom. Yeah,
- 50:01Speaker 1: your baby need to be on the bat. Yeah, your
- 50:03Speaker 1: baby on the bottom, because when you throw it, then
- 50:05Speaker 1: you throw the big baby up. The other little kids

- 50:14Speaker 1: just come down and splay, Yeah, the first thing they

- 50:31Speaker 1: a good look. If you big hurt, Yeah, they can
- 50:35Speaker 1: get hurt like that, you know. You know, look, look,
- 50:38Speaker 1: look we can take that approach to it, but let's
- 50:40Speaker 1: just don't stay on it where it is. If your
- 50:43Speaker 1: baby big, ain't nobody tossing it, Ye were tossing big.
- 50:47Speaker 1: We can't get up. If you thick, you ain't posed
- 50:50Speaker 1: to be you know, if you big boned it. You're
- 50:56Speaker 1: not the one that's gonna get taught. We want that
- 50:58Speaker 1: little light ass backing and balls pass up there, she'd
- 51:03Speaker 1: come back down. One of us can catch her. We
- 51:06Speaker 1: really don't care about your baby getting mad. Yeah, down,
- 51:11Speaker 1: But she wanted her turn to fly. Yeah, your big
- 51:14Speaker 1: ass don't get a turn. But it'd be some fig babies.
- 51:18Speaker 1: We want to be on top. Yeah, I wanted me
- 51:21Speaker 1: on top one time. You can't ain't no more top
- 51:26Speaker 1: happened to Tasha, and this big girl was mad because

- 52:12Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter, subject you did? What where all right?
- 52:19Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I met the love of my life.
- 52:23Speaker 1: This beautiful woman was so perfect I could not believe
- 52:27Speaker 1: she was still single. Well after dating her for six months,
- 52:30Speaker 1: I figured out exactly why she is not married. She
- 52:35Speaker 1: has a bizarre, nasty habit. It all started to go
- 52:39Speaker 1: downhill when I took her around my friends for the
- 52:41Speaker 1: first time. We went to a house party and had
- 52:44Speaker 1: a good time eating and drinking. The next day, my
- 52:48Speaker 1: friend called me upset because someone had relieved themselves in
- 52:53Speaker 1: his bathroom drawer. What to put it politely, It was
- 52:59Speaker 1: not arn what he thought. Someone had had too much
- 53:04Speaker 1: to drink and made a mistake. Two months later, my
- 53:08Speaker 1: lady and I went to play cards had another friend's home.
- 53:11Speaker 1: The next day, my buddy called me and was very
- 53:14Speaker 1: upset because someone had relieved themselves in his son's closet.
- 53:20Speaker 1: It's odd to me that it's happened twice, but I
- 53:23Speaker 1: don't dwell on it. A week later, my lady and
- 53:26Speaker 1: I went to my brother's house for a cookout. The
- 53:29Speaker 1: next day same thing, my brother called me and said
- 53:33Speaker 1: he had discovered a mess on the back seat of
- 53:36Speaker 1: his suv. Now there have been three incidents and it's
- 53:41Speaker 1: starting to get really weird. So I mentioned it to
- 53:45Speaker 1: my girl. I told her that everywhere we had been,
- 53:49Speaker 1: someone had left a surprise for the homeowner each time.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Her response blew my mind. She shamefully admitted that it
- 53:58Speaker 1: was her all three times. She said she can't help it.
- 54:01Speaker 1: She likes to relieve herself in odd places when she
- 54:04Speaker 1: goes out. She said she tried therapy for many years,
- 54:08Speaker 1: but nothing has worked. I consulted a psychiatrist on my
- 54:13Speaker 1: own and he said that the problem is very common
- 54:16Speaker 1: and that I should stay with her and support her.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I was going to marry this woman, but now I'm
- 54:23Speaker 1: thinking that marriage would not be a good idea. What's
- 54:26Speaker 1: your advice? Should I throw in the towel now or
- 54:29Speaker 1: stay with her and help her through this? All? Right?
- 54:33Speaker 1: My ample is going to be very short and very simple. Money.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Run as fast as you can. This is not a
- 54:41Speaker 1: good look. Run. Something medically is wrong with her, mentally
- 54:45Speaker 1: is wrong with her. Therapy didn't help her. Uh. I
- 54:49Speaker 1: don't think anything can be helped by this situation. This
- 54:51Speaker 1: is crazy and nasty. Steve, Run, I say, run, Steve. Oh,
- 55:00Speaker 1: this is what I specialize. And this is why I'm
- 55:03Speaker 1: a proponent of who I go to school when you
- 55:06Speaker 1: could do coming see, education will get in the way
- 55:10Speaker 1: of what I'm about to say, school and and and
- 55:14Speaker 1: proper technique and discussing what could have gone wrong in
- 55:19Speaker 1: her childhood? How normal? This is a behavior? Clinically what
- 55:24Speaker 1: this is called, well, there is no clinical name for this.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Let's call this what it is. This is just yeah, yeah,
- 55:36Speaker 1: come on board, come on? What is it again? They
- 55:41Speaker 1: can't believe I said, just bleep it cat all this
- 55:48Speaker 1: is and you can't call this listen to me. This
- 55:51Speaker 1: is shout out. You just running around just ever you
- 55:58Speaker 1: want to now when we come back, we want to
- 56:06Speaker 1: give a different name to her. We don't call it
- 56:10Speaker 1: sugar honey, iced tea. But what really is it? Right now?
- 56:15Speaker 1: We all know you just rush, We'll be right back.
- 56:26Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve, let's recap
- 56:31Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. Uh and get to your impart. Let
- 56:34Speaker 1: me explain so too. You met his beautiful woman. You
- 56:37Speaker 1: can't believe she's still single, but then you found out
- 56:40Speaker 1: why she's still single, because she got a disgusting habit.
- 56:44Speaker 1: She likes to relieve herself in odd places. She went
- 56:48Speaker 1: on your friends tossed. She the sugar hounded iced tea
- 56:52Speaker 1: in the drawer in the bathroom. Then she went over
- 56:55Speaker 1: your brother's house. Shut her fucking ass up in the
- 56:58Speaker 1: best seat of this issue and sugar hunting iced tea.
- 57:02Speaker 1: But it's right here. It's a nasty call. This. Now
- 57:07Speaker 1: you can marry her. If you want to Sugar to

- 58:07Speaker 1: You're going down in the basement. You're gonna wash a
- 58:09Speaker 1: load of clothes. You open up the leg teeth in
- 58:16Speaker 1: the damn washing machine. You're sitting up in here. You're
- 58:21Speaker 1: going the bathroom. You ain't paying no attitchen. You use

- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I'm love for my place. I'm afraid to be laid mary. No,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I might give a better to get by drinking, and
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I can't get a night night. So we've been looking back.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: You see me cry because I ain't got nothing but
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: better love as me. All I'm doing. I'm stressed. Yes,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I put the letter D in the world deep press.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I always have a throbbing in my hole. Yes I'm stressed.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Yes I'm stressed. Yes, don't let's now I'm doing. I'm
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: a mess. Yes, my side bees past to pretend you
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: never see a smile up on my face. Yes I'm stressed,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Yes I'm stressed. Yes I'm doing I'm stressed. Yes, I
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: put the letter D into deep press. I always have
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: a throbbing in my hole. Yes, I'm stressed. Yes, I'm stressed. Yes,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: don't let's now I'm doing I'm a mess. Yes, my
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: side bees past to pretendy jest. You never see a
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: smile up on my face. Yes, I'm howking baby, So
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: how we do it? That's how we do it. I'm stressed, stress,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I'm stressed that a car wreck car c I'm gonna
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: keep a throbbing in my ches. All right, coming up,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: it's Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: to miss it. At forty nine after the hour you're
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: listening to. All right, here we are Steve, last break
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: of the day. It's been a good day. We love
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: having you, Steve. So you can give us some closing remarks,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: some words today. Oftentimes my best closing remarks remarks that
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: are reflective of something that I'm going through, have been
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: through or experienced, and so today is going to be
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: in that vein. I want to talk to you all
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: today about faith. Faith, the purest definition of faith to me,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: this is to me now, I don't know how all
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: the people view faith. I'm just talking about the purest
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: definition of faith to me is simply this, faith is
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: faith really means to me. Faith is the belief in
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. That categorizes faith for me,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: That exemplifies faith for me, that expresses faith for me,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: that somehow, over the years, I have managed to understand
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: that faith is in the belief in things that you
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: cannot see. So when situations beset me, when circumstances run
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: up into me, when I find myself in something that
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I have no control over, that circumstance, just set thyself
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: right in front of my door, and then all of
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: a sudden, I get to fall calls, hey man, you
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: all right, hey man, hanging now? Man. So sad to
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: hear the news. You know, I had a slew it
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: that this week because of some article that came out
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: about the show Friends from Cleveland. And I appreciate it all.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you something that I'm drawing on.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I'm drawing on this thing called faith. I'm drawing on
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: some words that my mother told me when she was young.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: When I was young, my mama was a Sunday school
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: teacher for forty years. She always taught me that I
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: don't believe God brought me this far to leave me.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: There is no way that God got me to this
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: place to leave me. See where faith comes in. I
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: firmly believe that when one door closes, God has another
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: one to open up. See. I never stand in the
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: doorway that's closing in my face and keep knocking on
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: that door. Y'all need to open this door back up.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I'm not gonna stand there and try to force my
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: way back in the door. I'm gonna take care of
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: my business. Of course, faith with our works is dead.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: But I do not get crippled and crumbled over the
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: predictions or the thoughts of somebody else. Somebody come to
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: me and tell me what they're gonna do to me.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: How many times have you had somebody come to you
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: and tell you what they was gonna do to you?
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: How many times have you had a boss confront you
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: and tell you what they was gonna do to you?
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: And they say it with the full intent of shaking
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: you up? And sometimes it work, don't it? You go
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: home and you shake it. Let me offer you something
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: stop shaking. Don't worry. Don't be dismayed that there is
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: no way God brought you this far to leave. See,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: the people is talking about taking stuff from you. They
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: didn't give it to you in the first place. What
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: they don't know that your steps was ordered by God.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: What they don't know that God positioned you right where
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: he wanted you to be at a particular time. They
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: had no choice that to put you into position because
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: God had ordered his soul. So when they come along
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and they start talking about taking you out of position,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: what you're worried about that fault? You don't think. You
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: don't think that you have an option here. You don't
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: think that the God you served that put you where
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: he wanted you to be placed. You don't think he
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: see all of this. I do. I think he sees me.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: I think he places me right where he wanted me
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: to be placed. I think he has people saying things
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: about me so I can hear it. I think he's
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: allowing people to think that they're making decisions because they
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: want to. I believe that they don't know that God
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: is always working on my behalf, behind the scenes, always.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Why Because I believe and I trusted him, That's why
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: he always working on my behalf. That is no, I'm
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: not an evil person. I'm not an unrighteous person. I'm
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: really a good person. I'm flawed, but I'm a good person.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I don't set out to hurt nobody. I ain't trying
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to step on nobody. So when somebody bring me some
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: disparaging news about what they're gonna do to me, in
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: the words of Bishop T. D. Jakes, you got to
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: be careful how you handle me. Be very careful how
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: you handle me. Because I happen to be a child
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: of the Most High. What He's done for me in
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: the past he or can continue to do for me
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: in the future. I have no fear of what you
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: claiming that you will do to me, because God didn't
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: bring me this to leave me that I'm certain. Though.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Faith is to belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: And even though I can't see what He's doing right now,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I bet he's doing something. I'm excited about the future
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: of what God got for me. Those are my closing
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: yourself a good week. I am right, faith, baby dropped it?
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Did you drop the micro drop yourself? What did you do?
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: All right? Thank you everyone, We love you, Bye bye
