  I am thinking today of 1 Corinthians 15, 57.

  So it kind of begins in the beginning, or in

  the middle of a sentence. So it says, the sting

  of death is sin and the power of sin is the law.

  That was 56. But here comes the great news in

  57. It says, 1 Corinthians 15, 57, but thanks
• 0:18
  be to God who gives us the victory through our
• 0:21
  Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, God. Through Jesus'
• 0:27
  coming and death on the cross, his sacrifice,
• 0:30
  his death, burial, resurrection, his clear teaching,
• 0:33
  his administering the beginning of the church,
• 0:36
  through all of that, we have access to the pathway
• 0:41
  to victory. Not only that, he gives us total
• 0:44
  victory. So when we have sinned, when we screw
• 0:47
  up, we can confess our sins, and he is faithful
• 0:50
  and just to forgive our sins. When we fail to
• 0:53
  work, we can remember that it is by grace we
• 0:56
  are saved, not by works. We can't look at somebody
• 0:59
  else who's bragging and say they're saved and
• 1:00
  I'm not because it is by grace that we're saved.

  So believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, trust in
• 1:04
  the Lord Jesus Christ, and receive the Lord Jesus
• 1:07
  Christ as Lord and Master in your life. And notice
• 1:11
  that it is through Him you will achieve victory,
• 1:14
  our Lord Jesus Christ. A lot of my life I needed
• 1:18
  somebody to tell me what to do. Jesus will do
• 1:21
  that. He'll tell you what to do. And he only
• 1:23
  tells you what to do in ways that benefit you
• 1:26
  in the long run, benefit the kingdom. He's the
• 1:29
  boss. Go King Jesus. You're the Lord. And I thank
• 1:32
  you, God, that we have a Savior and a Lord who
• 1:35
  is Jesus.
