- 1:06Speaker 7: Love?
- 1:06Speaker 3: You know you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 6: I got to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You probably got to turn the mouth.
- 1:46Speaker 6: The water the water.
- 1:49Speaker 8: Look me.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come out your uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 6: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 6: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 2:12Speaker 6: nothing changes about that. Nothing changes about that, man. I
- 2:17Speaker 6: was just getting ready to come on the air this morning.
- 2:23Speaker 6: I was just thinking, man, I was just having a
- 2:26Speaker 6: reflective moment of just how really good God has been
- 2:30Speaker 6: to me. I just it's it's it's man. Let me
- 2:36Speaker 6: just say that again, how really good God has been
- 2:40Speaker 6: to me. And here's a cold part. In spite of myself,
- 2:46Speaker 6: you understand that, in spite of all my shortcomings, in
- 2:50Speaker 6: spite of all of my flaws and and and and
- 2:54Speaker 6: and in spite of all of what anybody has said
- 2:57Speaker 6: about me, God God, through his grace and mercy, just
- 3:02Speaker 6: keeps me anyway. So many of us are exceptional people,
- 3:09Speaker 6: but we refuse to just go ahead and be exceptional.
- 3:15Speaker 6: We settle for the ordinary, We follow the pack, We
- 3:22Speaker 6: try to fit in. Man, oh man, oh man, You know,
- 3:26Speaker 6: I've heard my wife say this to my children all
- 3:29Speaker 6: the time. When she's scolding him or talking to him,
- 3:31Speaker 6: she'll be talking to him about leadership. You know, why
- 3:34Speaker 6: are you following everybody when God clearly made you to lead?
- 3:38Speaker 6: So many of us are born, and so many of
- 3:40Speaker 6: you are born to be exceptional people, but we always
- 3:45Speaker 6: trying to follow the pack. Why would you try to
- 3:49Speaker 6: fit in? Why would you try to be like everybody
- 3:54Speaker 6: else be ordinary? Why would you follow the pack? When
- 3:59Speaker 6: God is created you to be exceptional? The key word
- 4:04Speaker 6: in exceptional is except you. Ever you ever dine this
- 4:07Speaker 6: right here? You know, everybody did that accept me. Everybody
- 4:12Speaker 6: felt that way except me. Everybody said that except me.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Everybody won't wanted that accept me. Everybody went over there
- 4:24Speaker 6: except me. Everybody jumped in except me except me. See
- 4:32Speaker 6: why have you said that in your life? If you
- 4:34Speaker 6: were not to be exceptional? See you got to say
- 4:38Speaker 6: everybody except me at one point in yo to I
- 4:41Speaker 6: don't know who ain't done it? You know, everybody wanted.
- 4:44Speaker 6: Everybody voted no except me. See, so you're not You're
- 4:50Speaker 6: not created to follow the pack. You ain't created to
- 4:53Speaker 6: fit in. You ain't created to, uh, you know, to
- 4:57Speaker 6: be ordinary. You were created to be exceptional, as exceptional
- 5:01Speaker 6: as your fingerprint on your finger is. You were created
- 5:05Speaker 6: to be exceptional. Why not make this the year that
- 5:09Speaker 6: you go head on and be exceptional? Why won't this
- 5:13Speaker 6: be the year that you decide in your mind? But
- 5:17Speaker 6: just has to be a decision that we make. Now
- 5:19Speaker 6: we not following the pack no more. We not trying
- 5:22Speaker 6: to fit in no more. We ain't settling for ordinary
- 5:26Speaker 6: no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But you know, you
- 5:30Speaker 6: got to go ahead and follow that. You got to
- 5:32Speaker 6: get on the exceptional path because that's what you were
- 5:34Speaker 6: created for. Why be ordinary? You know? But all of
- 5:38Speaker 6: this this comes It has to start with a thought.
- 5:42Speaker 6: You got to first think something. Thoughts become things. A
- 5:47Speaker 6: man is as he thinketh that's all you will ever be.
- 5:53Speaker 6: So what are your thoughts today? Why not have exceptional
- 5:55Speaker 6: thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts? Why not have exceptional thoughts
- 6:00Speaker 6: instead of fitting in thoughts?
- 6:02Speaker 9: So?
- 6:02Speaker 6: Why you want to be like everybody else? Why you
- 6:04Speaker 6: want to be ordinary when you could possibly be extraordinary
- 6:08Speaker 6: with a change of your mind, a change of your venue,
- 6:12Speaker 6: And you don't have to be any other kind of
- 6:14Speaker 6: way just because my mama was this, well, my daddy
- 6:18Speaker 6: was this way, or this the school I went to?
- 6:20Speaker 9: This?
- 6:20Speaker 6: What race I belong to? This my sexual preference? This
- 6:24Speaker 6: is my this? This is my dad? How many? How many?
- 6:27Speaker 6: How many excuses? You need? I mean, how many excuse? What? What? What?
- 6:31Speaker 6: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 6: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 6: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:44Speaker 6: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 6: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:55Speaker 6: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 6: did that accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 6: jumped in except me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Everybody voted for that except me. And now look at it, man,
- 7:12Speaker 6: it seemed like everybody went that way except me. Okay,
- 7:17Speaker 6: do you get it? Do you understand what's being said
- 7:21Speaker 6: to you that all accept me is because couldn't it be?
- 7:25Speaker 6: Because you're an exceptional person and it's time for you
- 7:29Speaker 6: to take control of that. It's time for you to
- 7:31Speaker 6: start thinking different. It's time for you to start acting
- 7:34Speaker 6: on what you think. It's time for you to start
- 7:37Speaker 6: doing something about it. It's time for you to stop
- 7:39Speaker 6: taking each and every day that God gives us for
- 7:42Speaker 6: granted and letting them go by the wayside. Like you
- 7:45Speaker 6: got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty more, but
- 7:48Speaker 6: guess what what you wasting the ones you got for?
- 7:52Speaker 6: I got you young, and you feel like you're gonna
- 7:55Speaker 6: live forever. Eh, okay, cool, But let me ask you something.
- 7:58Speaker 6: See here, here, here go the part about it. I
- 8:01Speaker 6: supose you do live? See see everybody worrying about dying.
- 8:05Speaker 6: But I got news for you. Suppose you keep on living.
- 8:08Speaker 6: You want to keep living in the condition you in now.
- 8:10Speaker 6: You want to keep living with the money you got now.
- 8:13Speaker 6: You want to keep living with the relationship you got now.
- 8:16Speaker 6: You want to keep living by yourself like you are now.
- 8:19Speaker 6: You want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right
- 8:21Speaker 6: man to the right woman, but you keep getting the
- 8:23Speaker 6: wrong one. You want to keep doing that for the
- 8:26Speaker 6: rest of your life. Problem ain't dying. There's problem is
- 8:28Speaker 6: if you keep on living, who wants to keep on
- 8:31Speaker 6: living just the way they are right now. And if
- 8:35Speaker 6: you can say I'm cool, what I am, just the
- 8:36Speaker 6: way I am right now? In cool, this conversation ain't
- 8:39Speaker 6: for you. Ain't got no problem with that. You know, say,
- 8:43Speaker 6: greatness ain't for everybody. Being exceptional ain't for everybody. Becoming
- 8:48Speaker 6: extraordinary ain't for everybody. Heck, becoming successful ain't for everybody.
- 8:53Speaker 6: I got it. And you can come up with a
- 8:56Speaker 6: way to justify your non existence and your ordinary life
- 8:59Speaker 6: all you want, and that's fine and dandy. I ain't
- 9:02Speaker 6: got no problem with it. Because some people just gonna
- 9:05Speaker 6: be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack, follow
- 9:09Speaker 6: the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in. But
- 9:12Speaker 6: if you're not that person, if you want to be extraordinary,
- 9:16Speaker 6: if you want to be exceptional, if you want to
- 9:18Speaker 6: be if you want a dad to be great at something,
- 9:21Speaker 6: and you got to change your mindset. You got to
- 9:24Speaker 6: get what your creator and find out what he created
- 9:26Speaker 6: you for. You got to quit thinking of things just
- 9:29Speaker 6: in your own thought process. You know, lean not to
- 9:32Speaker 6: your own understanding. I don't know where that is, but
- 9:34Speaker 6: it's in there somewhere. Seeing Once you lean, if you
- 9:38Speaker 6: lean to your own understanding. You know what it's gonna do.
- 9:40Speaker 6: It's gonna limit you, man, it's gonna limit you. Why
- 9:44Speaker 6: not see what God got for you. I would rather
- 9:47Speaker 6: know what God got for me than to think of
- 9:49Speaker 6: all the things I could because I can't out think
- 9:51Speaker 6: him out and tried it before. All right, it's just
- 9:54Speaker 6: the beginning. We're gonna have a good one man. Let's go.

- 11:40Speaker 6: still calling you a little bit. Come on, man, it's
- 11:43Speaker 6: all good. You gotta let your nickname go. Shellye Strawberry
- 11:46Speaker 6: calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior boy, the legend that
- 11:49Speaker 6: is nephew Tommy Junior. A lot on your mind this morning.
- 11:53Speaker 6: Trouble on my mind.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It's you.
- 11:56Speaker 6: You said let your nickname go, and you cool would
- 11:59Speaker 6: say in it up. People feel a certain way. You said, well,
- 12:03Speaker 6: you know it's it's it's it's like you know, it's
- 12:05Speaker 6: advice too, you know, if.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You ain't a little bit no more, that's it.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Yeah, your name, your nickname was a little bit when
- 12:13Speaker 6: you was growing up, well a little bit to spread.
- 12:17Speaker 6: Now your nickname ain't a little bit, it's lot more.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Really college college.
- 12:25Speaker 6: Yeah, your college nickname was a little bit, and now
- 12:27Speaker 6: all of a sudden you lock more. You like, you know,
- 12:36Speaker 6: in college your nickname was dimples. Well now your nickname
- 12:40Speaker 6: is d Yeah, you know it switches up, you know,
- 12:51Speaker 6: uh huh, because I got dimples. But I had enough
- 12:56Speaker 6: face fact where they met they so I went from
- 13:00Speaker 6: dimples to crease.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Let me see.
- 13:08Speaker 6: Yeah see if I lost a little weight though, so
- 13:10Speaker 6: I got him back a little bit. But it was
- 13:12Speaker 6: just a line at one point. It's just a line
- 13:14Speaker 6: with from here all all the way up under here.
- 13:17Speaker 6: But I got rid of the two faces. I lost
- 13:19Speaker 6: some weight. Elevate you, baby, you know what I'm saying.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Elevate you and a plus. I combined it with cold plunging.
- 13:26Speaker 6: I don't recommend cold plunging to nobody because it's like

- 17:21Speaker 11: Oh, how did you get my number? How did you
- 17:23Speaker 11: get my personal number?
- 17:25Speaker 9: They gave me your number and said you you would
- 17:27Speaker 9: be the one that would that would that would that
- 17:29Speaker 9: would that would take care of me.
- 17:33Speaker 11: I'm here, okay, let's take a din.
- 17:35Speaker 9: And you knew where you were then girls were girls
- 17:39Speaker 9: and men were men wishing we could use a man
- 17:43Speaker 9: like everybody Hugh, But right again, let up together.
- 17:46Speaker 11: I want to help you. I want to help you
- 17:48Speaker 11: and I want to help your situation. I want to
- 17:49Speaker 11: help you with your wife. But you you called me,
- 17:52Speaker 11: and I if you're looking for a lifeline for an anchor,
- 17:55Speaker 11: I'm trying to be that.
- 17:57Speaker 9: I mean, you did to help me. I knew you
- 17:59Speaker 9: did help me. When see, I know my wife is
- 18:03Speaker 9: gonna leave me here if I knownna quit doing it.
- 18:06Speaker 9: Here's this story of a lovely lady.
- 18:09Speaker 11: Jared, Jared, my technique is a little bit different and
- 18:16Speaker 11: maybe a little unorthodox.
- 18:17Speaker 9: If not, we gotta feel this crul, the minal would
- 18:21Speaker 9: be lost, the middle would be lost, the miner.
- 18:26Speaker 11: Okay, look here, look here.
- 18:28Speaker 9: I need you. I need I need you to help me.
- 18:31Speaker 11: I need to get you into my office. I need
- 18:33Speaker 11: to schedule an appointment with you. You need to erase my
- 18:35Speaker 11: personal number from yourself.
- 18:37Speaker 9: Because my body knows your name. Jared.
- 18:41Speaker 11: Focus, Focus, focus, Jared, Focus. There's a lot more going
- 18:45Speaker 11: on here. For one, you're making a.
- 18:46Speaker 9: Lot of fun now with me and all the games,
- 18:50Speaker 9: learning from each other while we do our thing and
- 18:57Speaker 9: gonna have a good time.
- 19:00Speaker 11: Jared, my patience is said up. I have no more
- 19:04Speaker 11: patience with you now. I need you to fake suckers
- 19:06Speaker 11: and get it together. Why didn't you call me? Why
- 19:09Speaker 11: don't you How did you get my.
- 19:10Speaker 9: Number at me? Why you're supposed to be a doctor.
- 19:15Speaker 9: You're supposed to be a doctor.
- 19:16Speaker 11: Am a doctor? Don't question my credentials, young man. You
- 19:20Speaker 11: called me. I want to help you, but this has
- 19:22Speaker 11: gone on too far.
- 19:24Speaker 9: This is Tommy gave me your number, Billy too, Steve,
- 19:28Speaker 9: you know, don't you.
- 19:30Speaker 11: Now, Look, I want to help you, but you are
- 19:33Speaker 11: not allowing me to do so. So who is Tommy?
- 19:36Speaker 11: Who is Stephen? And how did you get my number?
- 19:40Speaker 9: On the radio?
- 19:42Speaker 11: Then on the radio seven on the radio as in Tommy, Matthew.
- 19:52Speaker 9: Tommy, doctor Pat you have been.
- 19:58Speaker 11: You know you didn't go?
- 20:01Speaker 9: Oh my god? Do you have a colleague named Charles?
- 20:07Speaker 11: You know what I'm gonna ki Ooh, look that I
- 20:09Speaker 11: can't believe Charlie did this to me?
- 20:12Speaker 9: My god, do you know what time of war on?
- 20:16Speaker 3: You got a war?
- 20:17Speaker 11: You got me flustered. I was recording you.
- 20:18Speaker 12: I have you know that.
- 20:21Speaker 9: Oh. I gotta ask you something though. What is the
- 20:25Speaker 9: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 20:28Speaker 11: That's Steve have baby, My goodness.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Coming on.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Thanks, we'll hear from the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 20:45Speaker 1: top of the hour. In entertainment news, I'm sure received
- 20:48Speaker 1: the key to the city in Las Vegas. Jada and
- 20:51Speaker 1: Will Smith's kids feel bad for their dad and just Smallette. Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Back in the news he's entered a rehab facility. We'll
- 20:59Speaker 1: talk about all of these stories at the hour. You
- 21:02Speaker 1: know what, No, right now it is time to ask
- 21:15Speaker 1: the clo. All right, clo, here we go. I'm not
- 21:18Speaker 1: in Tuscaloosa.
- 21:19Speaker 12: Right.
- 21:20Speaker 1: So one of my boys told me that my girlfriend
- 21:22Speaker 1: was turking on a white guy at a club this weekend.
- 21:25Speaker 1: She said it was a joke because the white guy
- 21:27Speaker 1: was visiting from London. Am I supposed to let this slide?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Or is twerking on any man disrespectful?
- 21:35Speaker 6: Well? When you say, oh, should you let it slide? What? What? What?
- 21:38Speaker 13: What what if you don't let us slide? What that means?
- 21:41Speaker 6: What I mean? I mean, what you're gonna do? She
- 21:44Speaker 6: done tworked already, She didn't admit it that she did it.
- 21:48Speaker 6: And she did it because he was from London. Damn.
- 21:53Speaker 6: So now you won't know what I mean? What you're
- 21:57Speaker 6: not gonna let it slide? Tell me what you do?
- 22:01Speaker 6: What is the consequences for towerkin on the white boy?
- 22:06Speaker 6: From the consequences? What is it? I don't think it's
- 22:11Speaker 6: a lot break up? Break up?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:15Speaker 6: No, no, okay, well now what that could be a consequence?
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:20Speaker 6: No? Happy? Now what happiness.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you're on me, I'm happy. I know that.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Oh okay for a that's for the guy from London. Yeah, okay,
- 22:37Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Reesa in Miami, Resa says,
- 22:42Speaker 1: my friend let me borrow some clothes for a photo shoot.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I wore one of her blouses for fifteen minutes and
- 22:47Speaker 1: a jumpsuit for about ten minutes. She wants all five
- 22:51Speaker 1: of the items dry cleaned, even if I only wore
- 22:54Speaker 1: two items. Am I obligated to do it? Or is
- 22:57Speaker 1: she just being petty?
- 22:59Speaker 6: No? You you borrowed her clothes. She ain't got the
- 23:02Speaker 6: wonder which one you wore. Just dry clean the clothes.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Do you know what it would have cost you to
- 23:07Speaker 6: buy that stuff? Just try clean the woman's clothes while
- 23:10Speaker 6: you're being trifling. She was kind enough to give you
- 23:13Speaker 6: five outfits your funky behind. Wore two of them. Now
- 23:18Speaker 6: here the problem with the tooth. If you put the
- 23:20Speaker 6: two in the bag with the other three and you
- 23:22Speaker 6: had them on, you've now affected the freshness of the
- 23:25Speaker 6: other three. That's why all five of them got to
- 23:28Speaker 6: go to the cleaner. What's wrong with you? Though you
- 23:31Speaker 6: borrow the damn clothes, you don't pay for them. You
- 23:34Speaker 6: don't want to cleaner, that'd be your last time coming
- 23:37Speaker 6: to my house. Why is your poe ass over here? Anyway?
- 23:39Speaker 6: If you ain't got the clothes for the photo shoot,
- 23:41Speaker 6: what did you do in the damn photo shoot for wow?
- 23:47Speaker 6: Filter and do some selfish on ig and change your
- 23:50Speaker 6: clothes with the filter? Well, you better recognize Tommy, I'm
- 24:00Speaker 6: teaching juniors. I've been teaching all morning because what y'all
- 24:03Speaker 6: don't know what Junior couldn't get on this morning without
- 24:06Speaker 6: me because he was not a wicked little zoom but
- 24:09Speaker 6: he ain't even know to go to hit Dollar party.
- 24:11Speaker 6: Click on the blue icon, go ahead.
- 24:15Speaker 1: All rights and Seattle says, I went to dinner with
- 24:18Speaker 1: three of my male friends and we had a few drinks.
- 24:21Speaker 1: They asked for separate checks and said it was because
- 24:24Speaker 1: they had beer and I ordered to margaritas with expensive tequila.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Shouldn't they have paid the bill regardless of my drinks?
- 24:32Speaker 13: What didn't you say that y'all just friends and we
- 24:36Speaker 13: are work. We're from working.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Yeah, y'all, you ain't sleeping with nobody. You don't get
- 24:41Speaker 6: all them drinks for that. That ain't how that work.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Only one through that is me and Tommy and Jr.
- 24:47Speaker 6: We gotta take these girls out of every time we
- 24:50Speaker 6: go out. We gotta pay for every damn thing all
- 24:54Speaker 6: us hit, the extra double eggs and all this hell,
- 24:58Speaker 6: I want extra shrimp on my satin. I don't we
- 25:00Speaker 6: gonna pay all that. Yeah, but everybody ain't like us,
- 25:05Speaker 6: So you know that's what you get. You know, I
- 25:07Speaker 6: got these three male friends. They're not your friends. Oh
- 25:10Speaker 6: they're not.
- 25:12Speaker 13: Man, that is that's a real cowork.
- 25:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Well she just said the three of her friends. She
- 25:21Speaker 1: didn't say that they work together.
- 25:23Speaker 6: Oh they don't work together. Then they really don't, you know, Yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 6: they ain't your.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, okay there, but she's yeah, she's saying, shouldn't they
- 25:34Speaker 1: pay the bill regardless of her drinks?
- 25:36Speaker 7: So he thought she had a free meal and she's
- 25:39Speaker 7: not getting it, sir, free drinks and she's like, they're
- 25:42Speaker 7: just cheap.
- 25:42Speaker 1: They're cheap.
- 25:44Speaker 6: No, all that rosatto and all that old top shelf. No,
- 25:47Speaker 6: uh uh, get some of that ragglarss serana could be drinking.
- 25:53Speaker 6: Get you some damn teitos and sit your ass down,

- 26:07Speaker 6: of tito?
- 26:09Speaker 1: Guys?
- 26:12Speaker 9: All right?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Last one, Steve, last one? Jamerian and Canton says, I'm
- 26:16Speaker 1: renting a house from my aunt and her husband comes
- 26:19Speaker 1: to collect the rent and other things.
- 26:22Speaker 6: My aunt just.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Confided in me that her husband has become distant and
- 26:26Speaker 1: stopped having sex with her. This is terrible. Should I
- 26:29Speaker 1: tell her husband that she suspects something is up or
- 26:32Speaker 1: just breaks break things off with him?
- 26:35Speaker 13: What you're doing?
- 26:37Speaker 6: Is he still collecting the rent? And I don't understand
- 26:41Speaker 6: your arrangement. You say he comes and collects the rent
- 26:44Speaker 6: and other things. What is the other thing for if
- 26:48Speaker 6: you still got to pay the damn rount that? I
- 26:53Speaker 6: don't I don't understand. I'm on fire today. I'm sitting
- 27:01Speaker 6: trying to figure you what is wrong with Huddle?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but I mean there's a lot of things
- 27:07Speaker 1: wrong with her. First of all, she's sleeping with her
- 27:10Speaker 1: aunt's husband. Yeah, your uncle really.
- 27:17Speaker 6: Yeah, Uncle Raymond.
- 27:19Speaker 1: You're doing this to your aunt.
- 27:21Speaker 6: That's terrible. Yea horrible.
- 27:26Speaker 13: Ain't no booty discount or nothing, though, I.
- 27:28Speaker 6: Mean, yeah, yeah, we ain't got nothing for you. Yeah,
- 27:31Speaker 6: sorry about that? You stupid. You're stupid and trifling. Yeah.
- 27:36Speaker 13: Really, Now your aunt coming over here, you know, swait Raymond.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Why does her aunt have to talk like that?
- 27:44Speaker 6: Though? Because I only got one person, one boy, tell me,
- 27:49Speaker 6: got a lot of characters, don't tru Yeah, the truck
- 27:54Speaker 6: driver told me. You don't do no woman.

- 28:05Speaker 6: he comes back, he don't. We don't. We don't do

- 33:29Speaker 6: I know you're gonna get it tangle all up with
- 33:31Speaker 6: him now. You said that on what you said that fault.
- 33:35Speaker 13: Damn Mama.
- 33:36Speaker 6: I ain't folks as damn Mama just wearing us out.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Its truth.
- 33:45Speaker 13: It's sad. This is so sad.
- 33:48Speaker 6: Quick truth. Have you heard Steve show lie.
- 33:54Speaker 10: Truth will do?
- 33:58Speaker 1: All right, We're moving on. We're moving on.
- 34:01Speaker 10: They are.
- 34:03Speaker 1: We're going to try here. Yeah, all right, listen. According
- 34:08Speaker 1: to TMZ Jusse Smallett back in the news, he's getting
- 34:11Speaker 1: help now through a rehab treatment facility. This is through
- 34:15Speaker 1: an outpatient program. In a statement, Smallet's rep said, quote,
- 34:19Speaker 1: Jesse has had an extremely difficult past few years. He
- 34:22Speaker 1: has been quietly working very hard for some time now,
- 34:25Speaker 1: and we are proud of him for taking these very
- 34:28Speaker 1: necessary steps. And we all remember, of course, Justin was
- 34:32Speaker 1: found guilty of lying to Chicago cops about the alleged
- 34:35Speaker 1: attack that happened back in twenty nineteen, where he claimed
- 34:38Speaker 1: two mass Trump supporters attacked him and put a noose
- 34:41Speaker 1: around his neck. Jusse was sentenced to one hundred and
- 34:44Speaker 1: fifty days in jail for the incident, but was released
- 34:47Speaker 1: from jail for his appeal a short time after the sentence.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Sources are not quite sure what Jesse is getting treated for, However,
- 34:55Speaker 1: drug use was mentioned quite a bit during his trial.
- 35:00Speaker 13: There you go, well, maybe he was on drugs, said night.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Maybe that's what that Yeah, you got you know to
- 35:07Speaker 6: come over with that story that that's.
- 35:09Speaker 13: Drugs right there, I've lied before. That's way path line.
- 35:12Speaker 7: Who African guys hung me was trying to hang Yeah.
- 35:16Speaker 6: That's not a lie. That's an hallucination. That's a hallucination.
- 35:20Speaker 6: That's different from a lot.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Okay, we gotta go thank the Lord with the Mega
- 35:26Speaker 1: had on the home. It's twenty minutes after the hour.
- 35:32Speaker 1: One of the Kings of Comedy, Steve ended a twenty
- 35:34Speaker 1: five thousand dollars fund for his family after they complained
- 35:38Speaker 1: it wasn't enough money. We'll tell you which king right
- 35:40Speaker 1: after this, you're listening.
- 35:49Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 35:51Speaker 1: According to Essence magazine, during a recent interview on iHeartRadio Radio,
- 35:56Speaker 1: one of the Kings of comedy, Steve Cedric, the entertainer,
- 35:59Speaker 1: your good friend and of course a friend to the show.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Cedric was promoting his new book called Flipping Box Cards,
- 36:05Speaker 1: and he said he has no problem telling family members
- 36:08Speaker 1: no unborrowing money. Said went on to say that he
- 36:12Speaker 1: used to have a whole fund for the family every year,
- 36:14Speaker 1: twenty five thousand dollars for whatever it is. You can
- 36:18Speaker 1: get it if you qualify, and not for any nonsense,
- 36:21Speaker 1: and his sister managed the fund, says family members were
- 36:25Speaker 1: only allowed to take a portion, as opposed to a
- 36:27Speaker 1: single individual using the entire twenty five grand. Cedric eventually
- 36:32Speaker 1: put an end to the fan though to the fund, though,
- 36:35Speaker 1: reason being family members started asking for more money, saying
- 36:39Speaker 1: that wasn't enough the twenty five thousand dollars. So here's
- 36:42Speaker 1: a question for you, Tommy and Junior, Can you guys
- 36:45Speaker 1: relate to this and how do you deal with family
- 36:47Speaker 1: members who want to borrow money.
- 36:49Speaker 13: I've cut some off.
- 36:51Speaker 6: I know you can't quit being a family member, but.
- 36:53Speaker 13: I actually have. I've actually just why did.
- 36:55Speaker 7: You do that?
- 36:56Speaker 1: You opted out your fans.
- 36:58Speaker 13: I've just done. I'm just done fooling with you.
- 37:00Speaker 7: You know what when you loan out of grand, then
- 37:02Speaker 7: you loan out two grand, then another six months, here
- 37:05Speaker 7: come you need three more grand.
- 37:06Speaker 1: It's something persona.
- 37:08Speaker 7: Same person, and then and then that person to tell
- 37:11Speaker 7: another family member, or you loan me this, you know,
- 37:14Speaker 7: just tell them what you needed for the next thing.
- 37:16Speaker 6: You know, you're gonna look up.
- 37:17Speaker 7: You got about twenty five thirty out there, and it's
- 37:19Speaker 7: not coming back.
- 37:20Speaker 15: It's not just you just tell I'm not your cousin.
- 37:26Speaker 15: No moment, I'm not cousing, I'm not divorced. I'm not
- 37:30Speaker 15: your cousin.
- 37:33Speaker 6: What divorce. If I could divorce a wife, I could
- 37:37Speaker 6: damn show divorce a cousin. Show it's legal. It's much easier.
- 37:42Speaker 6: But you know, I'm very I'm familiar with saying with
- 37:45Speaker 6: this deal right here, because it's crazy. Enough is never
- 37:48Speaker 6: enough for some people, and people have this sense of
- 37:51Speaker 6: entitlement because the number one thing I used to hear,
- 37:54Speaker 6: I know you got.
- 37:54Speaker 13: It, Yeah, yeah, I do.
- 37:56Speaker 6: Yeah. And the reason I have it is because I'm
- 37:59Speaker 6: not gonna it all to you. In the beginning, you
- 38:03Speaker 6: suffer from guilt because you want to help everybody out,
- 38:08Speaker 6: and then you find out very quickly that they will
- 38:10Speaker 6: take advantage of that. So then I started thinking to myself, Man,
- 38:14Speaker 6: if they didn't have my sale number, what would they do?
- 38:19Speaker 6: So I changed my sale number and I blocked everything
- 38:23Speaker 6: from two one six. That's clear. But what I do
- 38:27Speaker 6: was my family works for me. Is my fan club.

- 39:03Speaker 1: twenty nine. Steven leave a message for him. You just
- 39:06Speaker 1: might hear your call in the air. Steve, you ready,
- 39:10Speaker 1: This call is from a truck driver on the road.
- 39:13Speaker 1: He wants to give you a compliment.
- 39:16Speaker 16: You get Hendrick, I drive truck and I finally got
- 39:19Speaker 16: a chance to get your Rashberry.

- 39:35Speaker 8: I thank you.
- 39:38Speaker 6: Take Kensrick Man right on. Appreciate your man. That Rashberry.
- 39:42Speaker 6: That's a new flavor that we came out. Rashberry. It's
- 39:46Speaker 6: a little different from Raspberry.
- 39:48Speaker 1: It has you're not clowning the way some more speaks.
- 39:50Speaker 6: I know this, yeah, you know this is more flavorful
- 39:53Speaker 6: hours just according to him, Rashberry. It's more flavor.
- 40:00Speaker 3: But I can love.
- 40:02Speaker 13: That's fank you Kendrick.
- 40:04Speaker 6: Some people like raspberry, but me, me and kids. You
- 40:08Speaker 6: Rashberry people.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Right, listen, keep on this one. This was one of
- 40:14Speaker 1: yesterday's asked the CLO question, Steve. This is from Laverne
- 40:18Speaker 1: and Greenville, Remember Laverne. Laverne was the one that wrote
- 40:21Speaker 1: in and said she worked at the post office. She
- 40:23Speaker 1: noticed that her neighbor gets a lot of money orders
- 40:25Speaker 1: every month and he mails them out of town remember her,
- 40:28Speaker 1: to the same address. And she wanted to know could
- 40:30Speaker 1: he be cheating on his wife and sending the money
- 40:32Speaker 1: to another woman. Well, this lady left a message about
- 40:36Speaker 1: your response.
- 40:39Speaker 12: This is thea Laverne on the CLO call this morning.
- 40:43Speaker 12: Could be onto something from the post office. There's a
- 40:46Speaker 12: lot of fraud with money orders. People send people money
- 40:50Speaker 12: then they asked them to send them back money orders.
- 40:52Speaker 12: So she might be onto something and not necessarily what
- 40:55Speaker 12: you're thinking. But that's a good observation from somebody working
- 40:59Speaker 12: in the She might need to say a little more
- 41:02Speaker 12: attention and alert the authority.
- 41:04Speaker 17: Have a great day. I love the show and everybody
- 41:06Speaker 17: else has fun.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Take it by.
- 41:09Speaker 6: Yeah, well, miss Vernon, listen, we really don't know what
- 41:14Speaker 6: the hell you talking about. What's her name?
- 41:20Speaker 8: Oh?

- 41:24Speaker 6: I don't we don't know what the hell you're talking about.
- 41:28Speaker 6: Oh I don't. I don't know why you thought you
- 41:30Speaker 6: should call in about this hit. That ain't your damn
- 41:32Speaker 6: be it sais? Miss deve is what the whole answer?
- 41:37Speaker 6: I told her to Laverne? So what did you call there?
- 41:39Speaker 6: Talking about that?
- 41:39Speaker 9: Lady?
- 41:40Speaker 6: Their post office might be on to something. People buy
- 41:43Speaker 6: money all this all the time, sending then they ask
- 41:45Speaker 6: for money back, So damn what that ain't got nothing
- 41:50Speaker 6: to do with you, and and and and and le
- 41:53Speaker 6: Verne in that letter was talking about he must be
- 41:55Speaker 6: sending money to some woman. Should I let his wife know? Lady?
- 42:00Speaker 6: Now see miss theo, that's how stuff gets started. Stay
- 42:03Speaker 6: out of this. Why are you calling here with that?

- 43:45Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this you're listening morning show
- 43:51Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 43:53Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, and
- 43:56Speaker 1: the subject is his father has to keep it down.
- 43:59Speaker 1: We'll get to that, find out what that's all about.
- 44:01Speaker 6: And justice we're keeping it up.
- 44:03Speaker 8: Huh.
- 44:05Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Any Sometimes these subjects are deceiving. We don't know. Right now,

- 44:38Speaker 7: bringing you refrigerator over the day.
- 44:40Speaker 8: Okay, what's going on?
- 44:41Speaker 7: Okay, listen, I know we had a window that was
- 44:43Speaker 7: from eight to twelve this morning's see, it's eleven thirty now,
- 44:49Speaker 7: so we're running a little bit behind schedule. Man, we
- 44:51Speaker 7: have some problems at the yard getting everything loaded up.
- 44:54Speaker 8: Man, come on, man, you killing me. I can't. Y'all

- 45:32Speaker 7: just got ruined. And now we're pushing things from our
- 45:34Speaker 7: twelve to four. So between twelve and four, Man, we

- 46:02Speaker 7: this morning and forklift was down and we had a
- 46:04Speaker 7: lot of stuff to load up. You know, we got
- 46:06Speaker 7: I got ten refrigerators on this truck, man, and one
- 46:08Speaker 7: of them is definitely yours, sir. So I'm definitely gonna
- 46:10Speaker 7: be getting to tell you as soon as I can.
- 46:12Speaker 8: So so man pushing it because I'm supposed to be
- 46:15Speaker 8: your work. And then I scheduled everything else around this
- 46:18Speaker 8: because I'm supposed to know, I gotta have a refrigerator
- 46:20Speaker 8: on the food and stuff in there in the in
- 46:22Speaker 8: the kitchen and whatnot.
- 46:24Speaker 6: You' you refrigerator went out? Did it go?
- 46:27Speaker 13: Refrigerator went out? Is that what happened?
- 46:28Speaker 8: Yeah, very so did. I mean, I had it for
- 46:31Speaker 8: quite some time, you know, So it's just amount of
- 46:33Speaker 8: time for we'll go out. So I'm trying to go
- 46:35Speaker 8: ahead and get a new one, you know, right.
- 46:37Speaker 7: So that's why, Well, no schedule. I can schedule you
- 46:40Speaker 7: next week sometime if you want me to.

- 46:47Speaker 8: the floor.
- 46:47Speaker 7: Let me let me get the hustling man. See if
- 46:49Speaker 7: I can move as quick as I can. But twelve
- 46:50Speaker 7: or four is the window.
- 46:51Speaker 6: Man. Like I said, I apologize, miss, but we'll be
- 46:54Speaker 6: that man.
- 46:54Speaker 13: We're gonna we're gonna we're gonna beat that with your
- 46:56Speaker 13: refrigerator day.

- 53:29Speaker 6: We got it for you.
- 53:29Speaker 13: Here it is Strawberry letter.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject his father has to keep it down.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married to a man that can't
- 53:39Speaker 1: tell his family no about anything. I met him twenty
- 53:43Speaker 1: two years ago at his daddy's shoe shop, and we dated,
- 53:46Speaker 1: fell in love, and got married. I'm forever grateful to
- 53:49Speaker 1: his dad because he paid my tuition for my senior
- 53:52Speaker 1: year of college after my family faced a financial crisis.
- 53:56Speaker 1: My dad did pay him back over time, and he
- 53:59Speaker 1: will forever be one of my favorite people. But I
- 54:02Speaker 1: want him out of my house. He's seventy two years
- 54:06Speaker 1: old and he's on his second wife. He cheated on
- 54:09Speaker 1: her in March. He was relieved that he got caught
- 54:12Speaker 1: so he could leave the woman. That's when he asked
- 54:15Speaker 1: me and my husband if he could live with us
- 54:17Speaker 1: for a while. I said no, and I told him
- 54:19Speaker 1: to work things out with his wife. My husband overruled me,
- 54:23Speaker 1: and he reminded me how his dad helped me out
- 54:25Speaker 1: years ago in college. So his dad moved in. We
- 54:29Speaker 1: have a split level house and at the front door
- 54:31Speaker 1: you go upstairs for the main part of the house,
- 54:34Speaker 1: and you go downstairs and there's a bonus room, a bathroom,
- 54:37Speaker 1: and a sauna that my husband got me for Christmas.
- 54:40Speaker 1: His daddy is on the bottom floor on our sleeper
- 54:43Speaker 1: sofa and he's been living down there since June doing
- 54:47Speaker 1: whatever he wants to do with his girlfriend, Miss Beverly.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I have caught them naked in my sauna, and I've
- 54:53Speaker 1: walked in on them down there having sex on the couch.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Miss Beverly likes to cook for him in my kitchen
- 55:00Speaker 1: and I have to say and I have no say
- 55:02Speaker 1: so in it. The worst part is all of the
- 55:06Speaker 1: begging and screaming that Miss Beverly does all hours of
- 55:09Speaker 1: the night. There isn't a door separating the floor, so
- 55:13Speaker 1: we hear them having sex constantly. How do I get
- 55:16Speaker 1: my husband to see that it's time for Papa and
- 55:19Speaker 1: Miss Beverly to get their own place. Wow, Papa is
- 55:23Speaker 1: living his best life. He's seventy two, years old, with
- 55:27Speaker 1: no responsibilities except to himself to have a good time.
- 55:31Speaker 1: But it sounds like his lady friend, Miss Beverly, is
- 55:35Speaker 1: having the most fun of all. And I could see
- 55:37Speaker 1: how this is on your last nerve. Yes, his dad
- 55:40Speaker 1: paid her tuition your last year of college, and yes
- 55:43Speaker 1: that was cool and very generous of him. But Papa
- 55:46Speaker 1: has truly worn out his welcome using your home as
- 55:49Speaker 1: his personal motel room. You and your husband are not
- 55:52Speaker 1: on the same page about this. You already said your
- 55:54Speaker 1: husband can't say no to his family about anything. You're
- 55:59Speaker 1: not in this same page. You guys aren't united. His
- 56:01Speaker 1: dad knows that, and that's why he's taking advantage of
- 56:04Speaker 1: the situation. How long is he supposed to hold this
- 56:07Speaker 1: loan thing over your head? I mean, your dad paid
- 56:10Speaker 1: him back. Eventually, It's time for you to step up
- 56:13Speaker 1: as the woman of the house and talk to your
- 56:16Speaker 1: husband about making arrangements for Papa and Miss Beverly to
- 56:19Speaker 1: either quiet it down downstairs or find themself a love
- 56:23Speaker 1: nest someplace else.
- 56:24Speaker 6: That's it, Steve, eh, Hey, I go here to go?
- 56:30Speaker 6: All right, let's go here we go. Let me tell
- 56:35Speaker 6: you what's really happening here. You you've been married to
- 56:38Speaker 6: a man that can't tell his family no. Uh, you
- 56:42Speaker 6: met him twenty two years ago at his daddy's shoe shop.
- 56:45Speaker 6: That's critical information. His daddy's shoe shop started dating, y'all
- 56:50Speaker 6: gotting married. Now, you said, I'll be fairver grateful to
- 56:54Speaker 6: his dad because he paid my tuition for my senior
- 56:56Speaker 6: year of college. After my family faced the cry find
- 57:00Speaker 6: out your crisis, you said, I'll forever be grateful he's
- 57:06Speaker 6: Then you said my dad did pay him back over time.
- 57:10Speaker 6: Now let me tell you something. This man must have
- 57:12Speaker 6: been doing good with the shoe shop because he paid
- 57:15Speaker 6: for his own son's college education, then stepped in and
- 57:18Speaker 6: paid George too. Now, your daddy did pay him out.
- 57:21Speaker 6: And then here's where the the lie. Here's where the
- 57:23Speaker 6: letter just turns into one big old line. He will
- 57:28Speaker 6: forever be one of my favorite people. The line I
- 57:33Speaker 6: wrote right after that is no he won't. He will
- 57:39Speaker 6: forever be one of my favorite people. My next line
- 57:45Speaker 6: I wrote was no he won't, because your next line was,
- 57:49Speaker 6: but I want him out of my house. See how
- 57:53Speaker 6: that work right there? Now, just one line prior he
- 57:58Speaker 6: was one of he will forever be one of my
- 58:00Speaker 6: favorite people. Then you say, but I want him out
- 58:03Speaker 6: of my house. You don't put favorite people out your house.
- 58:07Speaker 6: You know why my sons don't live with me no
- 58:09Speaker 6: more because they stopped being one of my favorite people.
- 58:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:14Speaker 6: See, once you stop being one of my favorite people,
- 58:17Speaker 6: you got to get out. So when you say he
- 58:21Speaker 6: will forever be one of my favorite people, no he won't.
- 58:25Speaker 6: If you're not married, you can be married to a
- 58:27Speaker 6: person and that person can stop being your favorite person
- 58:30Speaker 6: and you want them to move. Stop lying out here, people,
- 58:36Speaker 6: you will forever be one of my favorite people. Nobody ain't.
- 58:41Speaker 6: Nobody feet to be one of your favorite people all
- 58:45Speaker 6: the time, except your mama. My mama was my only
- 58:52Speaker 6: favorite person all the time. She was one of my
- 58:55Speaker 6: favorite people all the time. Other than that. Now them
- 59:00Speaker 6: all the mother favorite people they come to go. Now
- 59:03Speaker 6: you want to put the man out the house. He's
- 59:05Speaker 6: seventy two years old. He on his second wife. That
- 59:08Speaker 6: ain't nothing. He cheated on her and mand and heople's
- 59:12Speaker 6: relieved he got caught so he could lead a woman. Yep,
- 59:16Speaker 6: it happens. But let's just move on to his right head.
- 59:20Speaker 6: Yeah it happened. You know, Oh you don't think it happened.
- 59:25Speaker 6: You know how many favorite people you then left? Think
- 59:27Speaker 6: about it, y'all? Who in here ain't had a favorite
- 59:30Speaker 6: person that stopped being their favorite person? Hello?
- 59:35Speaker 13: Quickly a list.
- 59:37Speaker 6: Of I got that though, one hundred favorite people that
- 59:44Speaker 6: I don't talk too long more.
- 59:47Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:49Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters. Subject
- 59:53Speaker 1: his father has to keep it down. We'll get into it,
- 59:56Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:01Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: The subject is his father has to keep it down?
- 1:00:09Speaker 13: All right?
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: This lady done let her father in law move into
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: the house as a kind of a repayment. You know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: he helped her out in college when her family fell
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: in hard times, and so her husband's dad stepped in
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: and owns a shoe shop, paid her tuition. Well, he
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: got a divorce, he cheated on his wife. He was
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: relieved to lead a woman anyway, and so now he
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: needs a place to stay. She said, he will forever
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: be one of her favorite people. And then right after that,
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: she said, but I want him out of my house.
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: I know exactly where you at, ma'am. A lot of
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: favorite people I wanted out of my house before. They
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: weren't my favorite people at one point in time, but
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: the moment they stopped being a favorite person of mine.
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: Please your ask gots to move children included anyway, I
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: said that out there, Yeah, just children included. He as
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: could he move into the house. I said no. I
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: told him to work things out with his wife. Now,
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: I don't know how you think. What do you think
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: he got caught cheating? Now you want him to work
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: it out with his wife. Maybe the wife don't want
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: it worked out. You ever thought of that? So now
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: he come to you. Your husband overruled you, and he
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: reminded you of how his dad helped you out when
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: you were in college. So his dad moved in. Y'all
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: got a two level house and downstairs as a bonus room,
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: got a bathroom in it, and a soner that your
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: husband got you from Miss Christen, his daddy that moved
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: in down Now he's staying on the sleeper sofa and
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: he been living down there since June. Eh, that's a
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: lot of muss now doing whatever he wants to do
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: with his old ass girlfriend, Miss Beverley Beverly. And you
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: know they are old because on nobody name they baby Beverley,
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: no more whole ass, miss Beverley. I have caught them
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: naked in my sona just sitting up in there, just naked.
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: And then the worst part of it is, oh and
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: then you know you called him in that neked You
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: done walked in on them having sex on the couch.
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: Well where you want to have sex, because sometimes you
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: don't have time. He sleep on sleep or sofa and
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: if he ain't let it out into the sleeper yet,
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: well what else is he got used? Because now you
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: got this, you in the passion of the moment, you
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: ain't got time to let this damn bed out, put
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: your sheets on there and make it all up. The
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: mood could be gone because every time he gotta go
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: to bed, he gotta let this damn sleep. For so
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: far you got hardier when you nicked. If younked you
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: you are you excited and you gotta let this damn
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: sleep for sofar that is wrong of you to want
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: them to go through all that. Well, it's not the couch,
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: it's his bed, right and you need to start knocking
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: your ass is just walking in here like you fired well,
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: quit walking down in there looking at him, neked in
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: the sauna. You got the ass to come down there. Now,
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: that's his room. Your sauna is down there in his room,
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: and him and Miss Beverley is sitting up in the
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: ass naked sweating all these different body parsing fluids in
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: your sonna. The worst part is all the big and
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: and screaming that Miss Beverly does all hours of the night.
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: Miss Beverley is down there putting on a damn show,
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: begging ass screaming, please please, please, please yes, please.
- 1:03:54Speaker 13: Please don't stop. Please don't you damn don't.

- 1:04:41Speaker 6: old ass cats in the alley. You will never try

- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Pipon thinks. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: a guy on social media needs some advice. He wants
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to know is it okay to wander away from the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: family while they're on vacation. I will talk about it
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: right after this.
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: You good, lost.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: Morning Show.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: All Right, Steve Javon on Facebook says it's been three years,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: but he's finally in the position to take the entire
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: family on vacation. He says, it's going to be great
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: to see the kids cut loose at Disney, and we're
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: all very much looking forward to it. My wife and I, however,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: are at odds on one topic. I want one day
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: to just roam off on my own and do my
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: own thing. She's getting an attitude because she thinks I
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: need a vacation away from her. It's not just her,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: it's everyone. I just want a night away, to go
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to a couple of bars and just be all by myself.
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: Is that so wrong?
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: Yeah? Your dogs? I mean, I understand where you're coming from,
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: but that ain't the time to do it. You got
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: to do that at the house. You can't take your
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: family down to Disney and there's just one off because now,
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: I mean your dog, dog. Do you know how hard
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: it is to find somebody back at Disney. Dog, Once
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: you get separated at Disney, the chances of finding them
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: is slim, which may be your hold gone now I know,
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: But bruh, you can't do it on the Disney trips.
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: You got to get you some time by yourself. You
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: can saved up this money for the family. You one night,
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: you can go to some bars and all like that
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: dog that that ain't sounding real family at all, and
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: thin where you're going to tell me you're going somewhere.
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: He just wants to just be ye. See, he gotta good.
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: You gotta get off Disney for all that you're talking
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: about that. I'm gonna tell you right now that damn
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: mouse is everywhere. You can go there and go to
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: that damn mouse. It's a constant reminder. It ain't but
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: a couple of spots at Disney where you ain't got
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: to see that mouse. It's a constant response. Yeah, bro,
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: this ain't a good idea. Man, This is not a
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: good idea. Not on the family trip. You got to
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: get you a sad day all to yourself and go
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: home and go to some balls and stuff and then
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: come on back home. You can't take your family down
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: there and then wanda off.
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: What is that?
- 1:11:36Speaker 17: All right?
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I think we have time for one more. Steve Tom
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: on Facebook says, Hey Steve, my name is Tom and
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I'm one of your blue eyed soul brother listeners. Over
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the last week, I've been the most hated man in
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: my neighborhood, and it's all because of my love for Halloween.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: My love for the holiday is well known, and I've
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: invested tens of thousands of dollars over the last decade
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: making sure I have the greatest house in our subdivision.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Now people go out of their way to drive by
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the house, see the spooky decorations, look at the lights,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: and hear my new giant ogre yell at them. It's
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: freaking awesome. My neighbors, however, have let it be known
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: how much they hate me around this time each year.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I've set timers to shut things down at nine pm
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: each night, but it doesn't seem to make things any better.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Help me find common ground with my neighbors.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: Please, Yeah, ain't gonna be able to help you with
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: just some dog I'm coming, tom. I don't give a
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: damn by no ogas, goblins and all this here. I
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: don't care about no giant ass pumpkins with no lights
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: and their little teeth missing jack O Landas. I ain't
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: never been into that, so I can't help you all man,
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: and you blue eyes soul brother, I appreciate that. But
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: if you live in a black neighborhood, they gonna get
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: tied to your ass really fast. And if you live
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: in a white neighborhood, they probably tied the yeahs, who
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: is every year in it? Every year? Yeah? Every year?
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: That's cool. I can't help you, though. I can't help
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: you all saying. I mean, for crying out loud. Come on,
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: you're scaring the children. It's just crazy. We've got people
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: coming down the street that don't normally come here. They're
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: taking photos. Our address is showing up in the photos.
- 1:13:18Speaker 13: It's a safety hazard.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: I've got a ring doorbell and it's just crowded with
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: people all the time. Your yard is a nuisance, well.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: A white neighborhood. So if he lives in the hood hood, then.
- 1:13:31Speaker 13: What hey, man, you're gonna cut all the damn ghost
- 1:13:34Speaker 13: out and everybody like this.
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: Okay, right now, you got one more. I tell you
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: what you're gonna do. No, no, I tell you what
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: you're gonna do. You're gonna have your Halloween there Friday
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: after that. Cut all this mess out your Halloween. But
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: now cut all these lights out, cause we got all this.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: We gotta do all this again. On Christia.

- 1:15:50Speaker 1: we'll play around it. Would you rather? Right after this

- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Would you rather drink water from a vase that has

- 1:16:07Speaker 13: Surey where you get all this fear have to mess from?
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Would you rather? Would you rather drink water from a
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: vase that has a two week old flowers? Or would
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: you rather eat a big spider web?

- 1:16:26Speaker 13: Yeah, that water trifle two weeks old, it's in there.
- 1:16:30Speaker 13: You're gonna be sick.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: You're the web.

- 1:16:48Speaker 6: Oh you can take these toenails. I wear sandals and everything,
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: won't have a toenail. Man. I got that kind of
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: in my family. I get. I give my little son
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: in law, John John, John John, come over there and
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: paint some toenails on that for me. Realist.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Hell, he's an artist.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I'll be walking around with press. Just be walking
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: with them sanders on, just nails, just all over the mall.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: What color? What color.
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: Color ain't gonna be They're gonna be clear, clear, okay,
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: all right, all right?
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Would you rather find a dead body a year? Would
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: you rather find a dead body in your freezer, in
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: your deep freezer, or would you rather find a dead
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: body in your closet freezer?
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: Closet, that freeze, Yeah, that freeze. He's thinking, he's thinking,
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: if he in that, if he in that closet. Now,
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: if you in that freezer, we keep the smell down.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: We'll get it with your meat and stuff.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: We're gonna get him out of this. Your problem ain't
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: gonna be the meat, surely, what your problem is gonna
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: be with the police. Yeah, you've got to get to
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: get him out of here. Better than the freezer because
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: last he in one position. You know, you can just
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: get you up and get him and sliding. He's gonna
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: have a lot of ice on him. You can slide
- 1:18:29Speaker 6: him across the floe easy. Yeah, all right?
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Would you rather communicate only any mojis or never be
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: able to text ever? Again?
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: Been the hell with test? That's confused? Don't give me
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: them little yellow faces. I'll work with him.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, guys. That's today's rounded. Would you
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: rather coming up in forty nine minutes after we'll close
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: out the show our last break and Steve we'll have
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: some closing remarks right after this. You're listening.
- 1:19:02Speaker 10: Morning show?
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: It's been a good day, good Thursday.
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: We gotta say, uh, happy birthday to our production manager,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: he keeps the show together, David Hines. Thank you Dave.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Happy birthday.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:19:27Speaker 7: We gotta say, we gotta say we are just uh,
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: we are just in prayer for Will Smith right now
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: and just everything he's going through.
- 1:19:35Speaker 9: We just.
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: It's just disgusting. It just is the Smiths and then
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: the Smith's kids. It's just they can't tolerat it. No more.
- 1:19:45Speaker 6: It's just it's just it's just the same.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: What are you crying?
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: I'm sall that's what he wanted to pray for, So,
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: you know prayers, let them ahead on with it. But
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: for Will. Hey, y'all, I got closing remark today. I
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: just want to remind everybody that life is ten percent.
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: What happens to you is ninety percent of what you
- 1:20:18Speaker 6: do about it. Everybody has to deal with the ten percent.
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: Your job is to not let the ten percent be
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: bigger than ten percent. See, what happens is when things
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: happen to you in your life, you've got to develop
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: the coping skills to get you through it, because that's
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: the measure of life. That's the experience you we all
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: have to garner as we go along through this thing
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: called life. We've got to get better experienced at better
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: at handling the what happens to us in life. Because
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: if you notice the what happens, often time repeats itself.
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: I'll give you an example. You're gonna run up into
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: somebody that you think is your friend, and then you're
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: gonna discover that they're not really your friend at all.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: That will happen to you more than once everybody that's
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: grown has known that it will happen more than once.
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: You are going to have to deal with betrayal more
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: than once. You will have to deal with disappointment more
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: than once. Disappointment comes over and over and over again.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: It just comes in different shapes, forms and fashions. So
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: what you have to do is knowing that these things
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: are going to happen to you. It's called life. You
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: are going to be challenged, you are going to suffer setbacks,
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: you will experience hardship, and you will have to endure
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: things that's unfair. Unfairness is a part of life. All
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: of us have to deal with the unfairness of life.
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: Life ain't fair.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Who told you that?
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: Who told you life was fair? Because there are things
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: that are going to beset you that you have no
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: control over whatsoever. It's just somebody decided to do you dirty.
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: Somebody decided to lie about you. Somebody decided to make
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: a meme. Somebody decided that you was going to be
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: tag you in. Well, that happens to everybody, y'all. It's
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: different levels and different measures of it, but it happens
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: to everybody. But whatever happens to you, listen, to me,
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: that's the ten percent. Life is ten percent. What happens
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: to you is ninety percent what you do about it.
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: You've got to start perfecting the what you do about
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: it part, because that's the part you control. See, you
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: have control over the what you do about it, how
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: you handle it, how you perceive it, how you drink it,
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: how you take it. That's you. If you're drinking the
- 1:23:07Speaker 6: negative kool aid over and over and over and over
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: and over, do you know what you have? You gotta
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: stop stop drinking the negative kool aid. Stop letting people
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: determine about you what you know is not true. If
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: you know the truth about you, why are you allowing
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: somebody with an untruth to affect you. If you're in
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: a relationship and the relationship has gone bad, and all
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: of a sudden you find out that the person you
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: were in love with, y'all ain't really in love no more.
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: Y'all don't really even like each other no more. Well,
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: you ain't the first person that that's happened to, and
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: it may not happen to your only once. So now
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: you've got to figure out the what you're gonna do
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: about it? Okay, this person don't love you no more? Okay,
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: what you're gonna do about that? Do you know that
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: you can't make a person love you?
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: Do you know that.
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: You got to learn that one real quick. It took
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: me a minute to learn that one. Do you also
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: know that you can't make another person happy? Do you
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: know that you cannot make another person happy? As a
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: matter of fact, Bishop Jakes told me one time, you
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: can't make another person happy. It's not your job, nor
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: should you make it your job. Get over it. Let's
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: move on. We as we grow up, have to get
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: better coping skills so we can deal with these problems
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: that beset us. It's gonna happen now. There are some
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: things that happen to us in life where you really
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: just can't get a real grip on it. And grief.
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: Grief is one of those things, you know. I hate
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: it when I'm grieving over the loss of somebody. Here
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: comes somebody with all this advice. I was at my
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: mama's funeral. One more person that came up to me
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: and said she in a better place now. I was
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: gonna slap her because the better place I wanted her
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: to be was upstairs in her.
- 1:24:57Speaker 13: Rocking chair at the house I got. All the rest
- 1:25:00Speaker 13: of this stuff is what you do about it.
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: You've got to develop a better way of coping with it,
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: because guess what, y'all, it's gonna happen over and over
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: and over again. Get you some God in your life,
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: get you some prayer in your life, get you some
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: faith in your life, and let it help you deal
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: with all this stuff that happens, because once again, life
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: is ten percent. What happens to you is ninety percent.
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: What you do about it. You got to start doing
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: better about it because that you can control. My closing
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: remarks today, hope you got something out of If you didn't,
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: we'll try it again tomorrow. Y'all have a good one.
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: Peace for all.
