- 0:00Speaker 1: As far as I'm concerned, if all of the hostages
- 0:03Speaker 1: aren't returned by Saturday at twelve o'clock, I would say
- 0:06Speaker 1: cancel it, and all events are off and let hell
- 0:09Speaker 1: break out, all of them.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Not in drips and drafts, not two and one and
- 0:12Speaker 2: three and four and two.
- 0:14Speaker 1: All hell is going to break out.
- 0:16Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Good Tuesday morning, Ben Ferguson with you and hear the
- 0:22Speaker 4: big stories we're covering today on the forty seven Morning Update.
- 0:26Speaker 4: First up, Elon must and Doge have found massive waste
- 0:30Speaker 4: when it comes to your tax dollars going to luxury
- 0:34Speaker 4: hotels that are housing illegal immigrants.
- 0:37Speaker 5: How much money I'll tell you in just a moment.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Also, Donald Trump has come out with a new warning
- 0:43Speaker 4: that if the hostages are not released by Saturday, there
- 0:47Speaker 4: will be hell to pay for those that took the
- 0:49Speaker 4: hostages in Israel. And finally, Donald Trump says it's time
- 0:54Speaker 4: to make a deal with Iran.
- 0:56Speaker 5: He would rather make that deal than well go to war.
- 0:59Speaker 4: I'll have the latest on the threat against Iran, especially
- 1:02Speaker 4: with their nuclear program. It's the forty seven Morning Update
- 1:06Speaker 4: and it starts right now.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Cutting waste, fraud, and abuse is clearly a theme of
- 1:11Speaker 4: the Trump administration. Exposing it is the hard part, but
- 1:15Speaker 4: it seems that Elon Musk and DOGE are having success
- 1:18Speaker 4: every single day. Their latest success comes as an even
- 1:22Speaker 4: bigger shock to American tax payers. We have now found
- 1:26Speaker 4: out that DOGE says that FEMA sent fifty nine million
- 1:31Speaker 4: dollars in payments just last week to hotels in New
- 1:35Speaker 4: York City that are housing illegal aliens. The Department of
- 1:40Speaker 4: Government Efficiency uncovering that fifty nine million dollar FEMA payment
- 1:45Speaker 4: from just last week to house all of these legal
- 1:49Speaker 4: aliens and what they described as quote, luxury hotels in
- 1:52Speaker 4: New York City. Now, to be clear, there are quite
- 1:55Speaker 4: a few Americans that are suffering from natural disasters. They
- 1:59Speaker 4: are not receiving fifty nine million dollars from FEMA for
- 2:03Speaker 4: luxury hotels, whether it's in California with the wildfires or
- 2:07Speaker 4: the flooding that we saw after a hurricane hit the
- 2:10Speaker 4: East coast all the way down to Tennessee. Now, this
- 2:13Speaker 4: is what we've also found out about these payments and
- 2:17Speaker 4: serious corruption involved with them. The payments come after the
- 2:21Speaker 4: Biden administration had claimed that FEMA was not using funds
- 2:24Speaker 4: to support illegal immigrants. Quote it's just categorically false. It
- 2:30Speaker 4: is not true. That was the statement from the former
- 2:32Speaker 4: White House pre Secretary Jean Pierre that she said over
- 2:36Speaker 4: and over again, including in October when she was asked
- 2:40Speaker 4: about are FEMA funds going.
- 2:42Speaker 5: To support illegal aliens.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Republicans have argued that FEMA did not have enough money
- 2:47Speaker 4: in the fall to help victims of the hurricane in
- 2:49Speaker 4: North Carolina and in Tennessee. The President Joe Biden's Apartment
- 2:53Speaker 4: of Homeland Security claimed those reports were quote completely false,
- 2:58Speaker 4: and noted the agency had an enough money to fund
- 3:01Speaker 4: relief efforts and the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program,
- 3:05Speaker 4: which the Biden administration authorized in late twenty twenty two
- 3:08Speaker 4: to respond to the migrant crisis. Well, now we know
- 3:12Speaker 4: they were lying to every single American, every taxpayer. Musk,
- 3:17Speaker 4: who is leading the Doge initiative to cut waste, fraud,
- 3:20Speaker 4: and abuse, said the FEMA payment violated the law and
- 3:24Speaker 4: quote a clawback demand will be made today to recoup
- 3:28Speaker 4: those taxpayer funds.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Now.
- 3:31Speaker 4: He also tweeted out more about exactly how this went down,
- 3:35Speaker 4: saying the DOGE team just discovered that the FEMA payments
- 3:38Speaker 4: were sent last week fifty nine million in total to quote,
- 3:42Speaker 4: luxury hotels in New York City to specifically house illegal immigrants.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Sending this money violate the law and is a gross
- 3:50Speaker 4: insubordination to the President's executive order. What this means is
- 3:55Speaker 4: the deep State is still fighting back against President Donald Trump.
- 3:59Speaker 4: They knew they were not allowed to make this payment,
- 4:01Speaker 4: and they did it anyway. He then said that money
- 4:04Speaker 4: is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being
- 4:07Speaker 4: spent on high end hotels for illegals. The other question
- 4:12Speaker 4: everyone should be asking now is who's getting the kickbacks
- 4:15Speaker 4: and who got these hotels hooked up with these massive payments,
- 4:18Speaker 4: and how long have they been receiving the payments and
- 4:21Speaker 4: how much money are we talking about overall that went
- 4:24Speaker 4: to illegal immigrants now. President Donald Trump announced this executive
- 4:29Speaker 4: order to improve FEMA's efficiency, priorities, and competence, including evaluating
- 4:35Speaker 4: whether FEMA's bureaucracy in disaster response ultimately harms the agency's
- 4:41Speaker 4: ability to successfully respond. The executive order reads it has
- 4:46Speaker 4: lost mission focus and diverting limited staff and resources to
- 4:51Speaker 4: support missions beyond its scope and authority, spending well over
- 4:55Speaker 4: a billion dollars to welcome illegal aliens. The order added,
- 4:58Speaker 4: Trump suggested on jail Anuary of the twenty four, just
- 5:01Speaker 4: four days after he was TOWRN in that quote, maybe
- 5:03Speaker 4: getting rid of FEMA and instead permitting the federal government
- 5:06Speaker 4: to send funds to the state to deploy to disaster
- 5:09Speaker 4: relief would be a better use of our tax dollars.
- 5:13Speaker 4: President then said, I also will be signing executive order
- 5:16Speaker 4: to begin the process of fundamentally reforming and overhauling FEMA,
- 5:21Speaker 4: or maybe getting rid of FEMA. I think, frankly, FEMA
- 5:24Speaker 4: is not good. Well, now we know that FEMA said,
- 5:27Speaker 4: we don't care what you say, mister President. We are
- 5:30Speaker 4: going to send to people that own these hotels massive
- 5:35Speaker 4: payments of fifty nine million to house illegal immigrants, putting
- 5:39Speaker 4: illegal immigrants ahead of American citizens. Question now is how
- 5:43Speaker 4: quick will the present move to shut down FEMA In
- 5:47Speaker 4: response to this, We'll keep you.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Posted now story number two.
- 5:51Speaker 4: If there's anything you can take away from the Trump administration,
- 5:54Speaker 4: it's that very clearly they are working twenty four to
- 5:58Speaker 4: seven for the American people, whether it's protecting your tax
- 6:02Speaker 4: dours or dealing with issues of national security and foreign policy.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Donald Trump has a very new and very real demand
- 6:10Speaker 4: when it comes to Hamas. He is demanding that they
- 6:13Speaker 4: free all the hostages by Saturday noon, or the ceasefire
- 6:17Speaker 4: deal is off and Israel can unleash Holy hell. The President,
- 6:22Speaker 4: in his own words, saying this from the Oval Office, Well.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I would say this, and I'm going to let that
- 6:28Speaker 1: because it's Israel's decision. But as far as I'm concerned,
- 6:32Speaker 1: if all of the hostages aren't returned by Saturday at
- 6:36Speaker 1: twelve o'clock, I think it's an appropriate time. I would say,
- 6:40Speaker 1: cancel it, and all bets are off and let hell
- 6:43Speaker 1: break out. I'd say they ought to be returned by
- 6:46Speaker 1: twelve o'clock on Saturday. And if they're not returned.
- 6:49Speaker 2: All of them, not in drips and drafts, not two
- 6:52Speaker 2: and one and three and four and two Saturday at
- 6:56Speaker 2: twelve o'clock.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And after that, I would say, all hell is going
- 7:00Speaker 1: to break out.
- 7:01Speaker 4: All hell is going to break out. President Trump issuing
- 7:05Speaker 4: this ultimatum to Hamas, saying, you got a week or less.
- 7:09Speaker 4: He said it on Monday, you must release all the
- 7:11Speaker 4: remaining Israeli hostages and American hostages from Gaza by noon
- 7:15Speaker 4: on Saturday, or the ceasefire deal is over. This is
- 7:18Speaker 4: a threat that President Donald Trump has made that Joe
- 7:22Speaker 4: Biden didn't make in well over a year.
- 7:25Speaker 5: When he says all bets are off, let hell break out.
- 7:28Speaker 4: It's very clear that the President saying, I am supporting
- 7:31Speaker 4: Israel fighting back and unleashing Holy hell on you. The
- 7:34Speaker 4: President made his announcement why after Hamas said it would
- 7:39Speaker 4: delay the release of the hostages in the first phase
- 7:43Speaker 4: of the six week ceasfire deal. Citings supported Israeli violations
- 7:49Speaker 4: they claim of the deal. In Israelis speculate that Hamas
- 7:52Speaker 4: had been badly stung by the global reaction to the
- 7:56Speaker 4: site of an emancipated Israeli hostage being released on set Saturday.
- 8:00Speaker 4: The President himself said that they reminded him of Holocaust
- 8:04Speaker 4: survivors after the Second World War. Times of Israel reported
- 8:10Speaker 4: this way. US President Donald Trump says the Gaza sees
- 8:13Speaker 4: fire and hostage release deal should be canceled if all
- 8:16Speaker 4: the hostages are not released by twelve on Saturday noon.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Trump said in December that there would be quote all
- 8:23Speaker 4: hell to pay if Hamas did not release the hostages
- 8:27Speaker 4: by January the twentieth. Now, the current hostage deal was
- 8:30Speaker 4: reached in January, and Trump appeared to accept the Biden
- 8:33Speaker 4: administration's plan to have the hostages released in a multi
- 8:37Speaker 4: phase process. There are seventy three hostages still in Gaza,
- 8:43Speaker 4: seventeen of.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Whom are still slay to be released in the first phase.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Not all of them are alive, and dozens would have
- 8:51Speaker 4: remained in captivity until a second phase of the agreement.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Now the President saying I want them all home. Now.
- 8:59Speaker 4: We'll have to wait and see what the next move
- 9:01Speaker 4: is by Hamas, but it's clear that the President is
- 9:04Speaker 4: not willing to wait any longer.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And lastly, story number three.
- 9:09Speaker 4: It is very clear that Donald Trump's foreign policy is
- 9:12Speaker 4: one that he is willing to make changes, especially when
- 9:15Speaker 4: it comes to different countries. The way he treats Hamas,
- 9:19Speaker 4: for example, is very different than the way he's talking
- 9:21Speaker 4: about Iran right now. How do we know this because
- 9:25Speaker 4: of a sit down interview that the President has done
- 9:27Speaker 4: talking about Iran and saying he's ready to make a deal.
- 9:30Speaker 4: It's also very clear that the President is not going
- 9:34Speaker 4: to let Iran get a nuclear weapon, take a listen.
- 9:38Speaker 6: It went down to nothing. Now they are up to
- 9:40Speaker 6: a tremendous amount of money. I think there's a deal
- 9:42Speaker 6: there in Iran. Yeah, I think we're going to make
- 9:44Speaker 6: a deal in a run. I think I would rather okay,
- 9:47Speaker 6: And you know, there are a lot of people think
- 9:49Speaker 6: that we are going to attack or Israel or with
- 9:52Speaker 6: our blessing or is what Israel needs us? Everybody needs us.
- 9:57Speaker 6: We have the weapons, we have the strength with very
- 9:59Speaker 6: strong I rebuilt our military, and people forget I rebuilt
- 10:02Speaker 6: our own. Now, they shouldn't have given a lot to Afghanistan,
- 10:05Speaker 6: which they did. They gave a lot. There was no
- 10:06Speaker 6: reason for that. But we're very strong. We have things
- 10:10Speaker 6: that nobody else has, so they need us. But everyone
- 10:13Speaker 6: thinks Israel, with our help or our approval, we'll go
- 10:17Speaker 6: in and bomb the hell out of them. I would
- 10:19Speaker 6: prefer that not happened. I'd much rather see a deal
- 10:22Speaker 6: with Iron where we can do a deal, supervise, check it,
- 10:26Speaker 6: inspect it and then blow it up, or just make
- 10:29Speaker 6: sure that there's no more nuclear there.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We just a better deal than the Obama nuclear deal.
- 10:33Speaker 6: Well that there was the dumbest so by the way,
- 10:35Speaker 6: that would have expired by now. That was a road
- 10:38Speaker 6: to a nuclear weapon. It was a short term deal.
- 10:41Speaker 6: You can make a deal with just a few years
- 10:43Speaker 6: on it. That deal would be expired by now, think
- 10:45Speaker 6: of it, and they would have a legal right to
- 10:48Speaker 6: have a nuclear weapon. You can't allow them to have
- 10:51Speaker 6: a new flureban. But there's two ways of stopping them
- 10:54Speaker 6: with bombs or with a written piece of paper. And
- 10:57Speaker 6: I'd much rather do a deal that's a deal that's
- 11:01Speaker 6: not going to hurt them, and I think they wanted to.
- 11:04Speaker 6: I think that Iran is very concerned. I think that
- 11:06Speaker 6: Iran is very frightened, to be honest with you, because
- 11:09Speaker 6: their defense is.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Pretty much gone.
- 11:11Speaker 6: Maybe they get to trying to get new defense as
- 11:13Speaker 6: we speak, you know, they're meaning air defense, but their
- 11:16Speaker 6: defense is largely gone. They've had some very bad moments.
- 11:19Speaker 6: The whole thing with the Pages was a disaster for them.
- 11:21Speaker 6: The Pages, you know what I'm talking about. It was
- 11:24Speaker 6: a horrible thing, but it was you know, knocked out
- 11:27Speaker 6: a lot of leadership like nobody's ever seen before. But
- 11:31Speaker 6: I think of Iran is very nervous. I think they're scared.
- 11:34Speaker 6: I think Iran would love to make a deal and
- 11:36Speaker 6: I would love to make a deal with them without
- 11:38Speaker 6: bombing them.
- 11:39Speaker 4: This is making liberals' heads explode. They want to blame
- 11:43Speaker 4: Donald Trump is a guy that's going to get us into.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Warld War three. But it's very clear the presence willing
- 11:48Speaker 5: to make a deal.
- 11:49Speaker 4: That's the question that everyone asked at the very beginning,
- 11:53Speaker 4: could Donald Trump make a deal? Well, he's walking up
- 11:56Speaker 4: to a Ran right now saying let's make a deal
- 11:58Speaker 4: instead of us having a major war. The President says
- 12:01Speaker 4: he believes he will get that deal done. And there's
- 12:04Speaker 4: many in the foreign policy arena that believe that Iran
- 12:07Speaker 4: is willing to now make a real deal for a
- 12:10Speaker 4: long term stability with an Iran nuclear program. And if
- 12:14Speaker 4: it doesn't happen, President's also saying he is going to
- 12:17Speaker 4: make sure they don't get a nuclear weapon. So it's
- 12:21Speaker 4: up to Iran now what happens. But the President clearly
- 12:24Speaker 4: is saying let's talk.
