- 0:02Hello everybody, welcome back to the Lila Rose podcast.
- 0:06It's great to be with you guys in this latest episode of a
- 0:09YouTube live here. We'll put this on podcast app
- 0:12afterwards, but welcome back to the podcast.
- 0:14I will be keeping my eye on the chat for any folks that TuneIn
- 0:18while we're doing this live and I will be answering questions if
- 0:22folks have them or interacting with the chat.
- 0:24So be sure to be interacting in the chat if you're watching live
- 0:28right now today, there's a lot to cover.
- 0:31We're going to do a quick roundup of some of the breaking
- 0:33news stories that are really taking the Internet by storm
- 0:36right now, but that are really important for us to look at
- 0:40because of course, abortion is in the news right now in a big
- 0:44way. And I want to talk about why
- 0:46that is and what's being talked about.
- 0:48Also, Ted Cruz and the Democrats are battling over an IVF bill, a
- 0:53pair of competing IVF bills right now in Congress.
- 0:56So we're going to talk about that as well.
- 0:58But I want to start by deep diving the tragic story of Amber
- 1:02Thurman. Now, some of you might not have
- 1:05heard this name before. This is the first time you're
- 1:07hearing Amber's name. But that's because this is a
- 1:09brand new story that is broken in just the last few days that
- 1:13is being relentlessly pushed by pro abortion media sources and
- 1:17even by Vice President Kamala Harris herself right now for
- 1:22justification for abortion on demand.
- 1:24So we're going to unpack what actually happened in this tragic
- 1:27case. Why the media narrative and
- 1:30Kamala Harris's narrative on this is an outright lie and why
- 1:34the story of what happened to Amber is the reason why we
- 1:38actually need abortion to be banned.
- 1:42We need to stop the lethal killing of children.
- 1:45We need to protect the women that are being preyed upon by
- 1:48the abortion industry. So we're going to unpack all of
- 1:51that and more. So again, hello.
- 1:53Hey, Caleb, the chat starting on here.
- 1:56Hello, Brooke, thanks for joining.

- 4:12All right, let's go to the Amanda Thurman story.
- 4:16I saw this headline and I immediately knew something was
- 4:20up because the reality is, since the overturning of Roe V Wade
- 4:26over two years ago now, the pro abortion side has been desperate
- 4:33to push a narrative that abortion is necessary for women,
- 4:38that it's essential for our healthcare, that we need it.
- 4:41And then without abortion, women are going to die.
- 4:43Of course they don't talk about the 1,000,000 babies that are
- 4:46dying from abortion. Every single year in America,
- 4:50that's a that's ignored by these media reports, but they zero in
- 4:54on these really tragic cases of women who are experiencing
- 4:56miscarriage or women who are experiencing maybe a life
- 5:00threatening emergency. And then these media groups,
- 5:03these very pro abortion ones, not all of them, but several of
- 5:05them, many of them are really focused on claiming that it is
- 5:09pro-life laws that are putting women at risk.
- 5:13This is a flat out lie. We debunked the Kate Cox case on
- 5:17the podcast before. We've been debunking that as an
- 5:20example, the case from the the state of Texas.
- 5:23This was the mother. You might be familiar with her.
- 5:26She was pregnant with her third child and discovered that her
- 5:29child had trisomy 18. So it was a disorder, genetic
- 5:33disorder and because her baby would have potentially life
- 5:38threatening disability and, and maybe the baby could have lived.
- 5:40I mean, some babies with this condition like Bella Santorum
- 5:43live to be, you know, 1617 years old are still thriving.
- 5:47But it's can be fatal for a lot of babies as well, both maybe
- 5:51before birth or during birth or after birth.
- 5:54And So what Kate Cox insisted was that she be given a late
- 5:57term abortion in the state of Texas.
- 6:00And Texas, she wanted to ultimately give a lethal
- 6:02injection to her baby with disabilities because she didn't
- 6:05want to give birth to this baby. And the state of Texas said, no,
- 6:08we're probably state. We're not going to do that.
- 6:10So Kate Cox tries to sue the state.
- 6:12The state refused to back down. Obviously, this is a human life.
- 6:16You don't just get to kill your baby because they have a
- 6:18disability. And So what did Kate Cox do?
- 6:20She went out of state for a lethal procedure to end the life
- 6:24of her living baby. And this was done in the name of
- 6:27compassion. So these are the kinds of
- 6:29stories that are trotted out by the pro abortion narrative.
- 6:33And they're always putting the empathy and the compassion on
- 6:36the side of this poor mother who has to deal with a, you know,
- 6:39baby who's sick or a baby who's disabled.
- 6:42And there's never a shred of consideration.
- 6:45There's never a shred of consideration for the little
- 6:47baby that's being sometimes dismembered alive in an abortion
- 6:52procedure that they're so zealously defending.
- 6:56That's what we're dealing with when we're dealing with these
- 6:59stories. You never are told the story of
- 7:02the baby who's at risk of being killed via a violent abortion.
- 7:06It's always this smoke and mirrors presentation of how
- 7:10women supposedly need this procedure when the reality is
- 7:13they don't. Let me unpack that a little more
- 7:15specifically with this Amber Thurman story.
- 7:19We're going to go to some really important statistics that you
- 7:22need to know and some facts that you need to know about this
- 7:24particular case. All right, so we're going to
- 7:26start. I, I love our live Action News.
- 7:28You guys are familiar with it. If you know about live action,
- 7:31my organization Live Action News has been doing a phenomenal job
- 7:35debunking some of these really terrible lies that are being
- 7:37told. So pro Publica, that very pro
- 7:41abortion rag came out with this claim.
- 7:45This was just a few days ago, that a young mother is dead
- 7:48because of this pro-life law in the state of Georgia.
- 7:52And they went on to tell the story.
- 7:53The author was Kavitha Serrana, tells a story about how pro-life
- 7:58laws are to blame for the deaths.
- 7:59And this woman who was Amber Thurman, she was a single
- 8:03mother. She had a six year old son.
- 8:05She was pregnant with twins. She had twin babies that she
- 8:08found out she was pregnant with how she went out of state out of
- 8:11Georgia because Georgia has a an abortion ban, they do not permit
- 8:14abortions. And she went out of state to
- 8:18North Carolina to go get ultimately the abortion pill.
- 8:21So she took the abortion pill. She went home and she started to
- 8:25have serious complications. Now here's where the first lie
- 8:28from pro publica comes in. Pro publica is blaming a
- 8:32pro-life law for her complications.
- 8:34Her complications were directly a consequence of taking the
- 8:39abortion pill. Amber Thurman ultimately ended
- 8:42up dying because she took abortion pills, which killed her
- 8:48twins and then threatened and ultimately took her own life.
- 8:52This is not some random accident of what happened to Amber
- 8:57Abortion pills at large in America.
- 9:00According to the latest data land one out of every 25 women
- 9:05in the emergency room. So this is now 60% of all
- 9:08abortions. Abortion pills were under the
- 9:10Biden administration. The FDA lifted even more
- 9:14controls and regulations off of abortion pills.
- 9:16They can now be delivered via mail.
- 9:18So you can just get your abortion pill in the mail or you
- 9:21can in this case of Amanda, you could Amber, you can just drive
- 9:25to another state And one out of every 25 women are taking
- 9:29abortion pills end up in the emergency room because the
- 9:32complications are so severe. Why are the complications so
- 9:36severe? Well, the abortion pill regimen
- 9:38is two different pills. One of the pills is designed to
- 9:41starve the developing baby of nutrients, basically blocking
- 9:45the flow of of progesterone so that the baby no longer can
- 9:49attach the lining of the uterus and get the nutrients that he or
- 9:52she needs. And then the second abortion
- 9:55pill is used to ultimately force a labor of that baby force a
- 9:59miscarriage. And So what happens sometimes is
- 10:02it doesn't complete the process of forcing the miscarriage.
- 10:06What happens is the baby is killed, the baby's dead and
- 10:10instead of miscarrying that baby, the pill fails.
- 10:14And so the baby, the, the, the parts of this baby are left
- 10:18inside the mother. The problem with this is it can
- 10:20lead to hemorrhaging or infection and can lead to death.
- 10:23In fact, women have died from the abortion pill.
- 10:27So it's a new, it's a horrible, you know, everything about it is
- 10:31horrible and, and heartbreaking, right?
- 10:33Everything, every aspect of this heartbreaking for the lives of
- 10:36the babies that have been killed and are being killed by these
- 10:39pills. Heartbreaking for the mothers
- 10:41who choose this. Sometimes out of ignorance,
- 10:43sometimes out of fear, sometimes just out of the the own darkness
- 10:46in our human heart and choosing to take these pills, which can
- 10:50have such serious complications and sometimes life threatening
- 10:55complications. So let's keep going back to
- 10:58Amber's story, though. She comes back from North
- 11:01Carolina to her state of Georgia.
- 11:03She starts to bleed a lot. She's bleeding heavily, She's
- 11:08starting to have an infection and she ultimately goes, her
- 11:11body goes into septic shock. Now pro publica presents this as
- 11:17well. They didn't provide her
- 11:18healthcare in Georgia because it's a pro-life state.
- 11:22But the reality is there is nothing in Georgia pro-life law
- 11:27that says that you cannot treat a miscarriage.
- 11:30You know, at this point, she's effectively having a a
- 11:32miscarriage because she took the abortion pills and they
- 11:35particularly zeroed in and on the DNC procedure.
- 11:39Now, if you guys who are familiar with this and who kind
- 11:41of follow abortion politics and understand the abortion issue,
- 11:45understand that ADNC can be used in an abortion procedure to kill
- 11:52a developing baby. But D and CS can also be used in
- 11:56a miscarriage if the baby has already passed away and there's
- 12:00infection that may take place or it's a missed miscarriage.
- 12:03The baby hasn't passed yet to remove the baby.
- 12:06All right. I have a very close friend as an
- 12:08example recently who miscarried. She's hardcore pro-life and she
- 12:14was devastating for her and she ultimately got a DNC procedure
- 12:20because she what had miscarried the baby had passed away and
- 12:23they used that to complete the miscarriage.
- 12:25After waiting and monitoring the situation for a few weeks.
- 12:28Actually, this friend of is pro-life, she did not have an
- 12:31abortion. Her baby had already passed
- 12:33away. She was not.
- 12:34There's nothing about ending the life of her baby, but the
- 12:37procedure was used in order to help her pass her baby.
- 12:42Now, some people still get confused about this.
- 12:44Well, it's the same procedure and you just want it.
- 12:46You're just making it illegal. No, it's, it's, it's similar to
- 12:50if you're doing, I think I've talked about this in the podcast
- 12:52before. I was talking about a recently
- 12:53in a media interview. If you are burying somebody and
- 12:57they're alive, you're taking a live person and you're burying
- 13:00them and you kill them that way, that's a murder.
- 13:04If you take a dead body, somebody who's passed away, and
- 13:06you give them a proper burial, that's the proper treatment of a
- 13:09dead body. Similarly, it can be the proper
- 13:12treatment of a miscarriage when the baby has already passed away
- 13:14to do a procedure to remove the baby.
- 13:16But if the baby is alive, this is what Georgia prohibits,
- 13:20right? Well, in the case of Amber, the
- 13:23babies had passed away. She had killed them via the
- 13:25abortion pill, the first pill that she took, and she just
- 13:28wasn't able to pass them. And so pro publica claiming that
- 13:32it was George's pro-life law that killed Amber is a complete
- 13:37and utter lie. And what's so tragic about this
- 13:41lie, guys, is that they're using Amber's death and the death of
- 13:45her twin babies as justification for saying let's have abortion
- 13:50on demand in the state of Georgia.
- 13:52That's what they're doing. In fact, Kamala Harris, I want
- 13:55to pull up this tweet for you guys.
- 13:57Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States,
- 14:00came out recently. It was today, actually, I think
- 14:03it was this morning with this tweet.
- 14:06Let's pull this tweet up. She says a young mother from
- 14:09Georgia should be alive today, raising her son and pursuing her
- 14:13dream of attending nursing school.
- 14:16This is exactly what we feared when Roe V.
- 14:18Wade was struck down in more than 20 states.
- 14:20Trump abortion bans prevent doctors from providing basic
- 14:23medical care. This is a complete and utter
- 14:26lie. Georgia does not prohibit in any
- 14:29way, shape or form. Georgia does not prohibit
- 14:32pro-life Georgia in any way, shape or form.
- 14:34Using a DNC procedure in the case of a MIS miscarriage and in
- 14:39the case of a life threatening medical emergency.
- 14:41In rare, rare, rare cases, early delivery of a baby may be
- 14:45necessary. And Georgia doesn't permit that
- 14:47doesn't for doesn't forbid that either.
- 14:52That's the reality. Georgia has an incredibly
- 14:56important and and valuable pro-life law that is protecting
- 15:00lives and they're getting attacked because the abortion
- 15:03pill is lethal not just for the baby, but sometimes for the
- 15:07mother. So the first fact that everyone
- 15:11needs to know about this case is that DN CS are not illegal in
- 15:16Georgia or in any pro-life state unless the DNC procedure is
- 15:21being used to intentionally kill a child AKA and elective
- 15:25abortion. That is what is illegal.
- 15:28If the DNC procedure is being used to kill somebody, it is
- 15:31wrong. The DNC procedure is used in a
- 15:34rare case of maybe a missed miscarriage to remove a baby
- 15:38who's already passed away. That is medical care.
- 15:40That distinction is incredibly important #2 Fact Check for this
- 15:46Amber store, for this Amber story is that sepsis, and this
- 15:50is pro publica talking about how Amber underwent endured sepsis
- 15:54that ultimately killed her. Sepsis is a known risk of the
- 15:58abortion pill. In fact, if you have that, you
- 16:01see, there's the abortion pill comes to the black box warning
- 16:04because the the abortion pill is a lethal, A lethal drug.
- 16:08And the abortion pill, it's black box, its own black box
- 16:12warning indicates that this can be a deadly drug.
- 16:16Even though they're claiming all this is safer than Tylenol,
- 16:18yadda, yadda. No, it has a black box warning
- 16:21because the abortion pill can lead to sepsis.
- 16:25It can lead to infection that can be lethal for the mom #3
- 16:31Another fact to Fact Check the pro publica hit piece against
- 16:36the Georgia pro-life law. Pro publica blaming pro-life
- 16:40laws is speculation of course because they're saying well the
- 16:43doctors were afraid to do AD and C because of the pro-life laws
- 16:47and that's why they didn't do the DNC in enough time.
- 16:51There is 0 evidence and they show 0 evidence in her own
- 16:55article which is pretty lengthy that the reason that doctors
- 16:59waited and didn't immediately do the DNC had anything to do with
- 17:03a pro-life law. The reason that the doctors in
- 17:06many of these cases will wait and see is because they're
- 17:08monitoring the pregnancy to see do we need to go to a surgery
- 17:11because there are additional risks with surgery.
- 17:14That's often the reason for a wait and see approach.
- 17:18Now I'm wasn't in the shoes of the healthcare folks who are
- 17:22treating Amber. I don't know how much care or
- 17:25lack of care she specifically received.
- 17:27I think in many of these cases, medical malpractice may come
- 17:30into play. There are, there's tons of that
- 17:33unfortunately happening in our country.
- 17:35Medical malpractice is a serious issue.
- 17:38And so there this could be an element here.
- 17:41But of course pro publica doesn't want to blame medical
- 17:44malpractice. Again, pro publica and Kamala
- 17:47Harris and other pro abortion advocates want to blame pro-life
- 17:50laws. Finally, pro publica of course,
- 17:54and Kamala Harris for that matter, is not being honest
- 17:57about Georgia's pro-life law. Georgia's pro-life law very
- 18:02clearly states that in a life threatening medical emergency,
- 18:06early delivery may be necessary and can be permitted.
- 18:10And it also in no way prohibits using the DNC procedure in the
- 18:14case of a MIS miscarriage. That is the reality.
- 18:17And in fact, there is no pro-life law in the country that
- 18:21prohibits treatment of an ectopic pregnancy or that says
- 18:25that you can't use ADNC in a case of a miscarriage.
- 18:28Those pro-life laws don't exist because everybody who's pro-life
- 18:32understands the difference between removing a baby who's
- 18:35already passed away versus killing intentionally a living
- 18:39baby or the difference in a, in the case of an ectopic
- 18:42pregnancy, removing the baby from a hostile environment if
- 18:45the baby's developing in a fallopian tube and the tragic
- 18:48death of that baby, that wasn't the intention, right?
- 18:52That wasn't the goal, to kill the baby, but to remove it from
- 18:55the hostile environment of the fallopian tube where it's
- 18:57implanted there instead of the uterus and the baby can't grow.
- 19:01Or the baby's already dead or is dying and the mother could have
- 19:04a life threatening complication because there could be a
- 19:05rupture. That has never been prohibited
- 19:08by any pro-life law on the books in this country.
- 19:12So these are the facts that people need to know.
- 19:13I'm going to run through them one more time so you guys can
- 19:15use these when you're maybe on social media, talking with
- 19:19friends, whatever your, you know, your place of influence is
- 19:23DN CS are not illegal in Georgia unless they're being used to
- 19:26kill a baby. That's the fact of Georgia's
- 19:28law. Sepsis is a known risk of the
- 19:30abortion pill. There have been other people who
- 19:32have died from the abortion pill because of complications like
- 19:34sepsis. That's why Amber passed away.
- 19:37Pro publica blaming pro-life laws and doctors because of the
- 19:42pro-life law is complete speculation.
- 19:44There's zero evidence to show that the doctors didn't give her
- 19:47the DNC because of anything to do with pro-life law.
- 19:50Often in these cases, I think medical negligence or failure to
- 19:53properly understand what was going on with the patient can be
- 19:57part of the reason that treatment wasn't given in the
- 20:00right on the right course. And then finally, Pro Publica is
- 20:03outright lying about Georgia's pro-life law, as is Kamala
- 20:06Harris and many other abortion advocates who are using tragic
- 20:09stories like this one. To advocate for abortion on
- 20:12demand, I want to pull up a video for you guys to hear of
- 20:17another story. This is the story of a young
- 20:19woman who was killed, one of the first young women in America who
- 20:23was killed by the legal abortion pill.
- 20:25So this was back I think in the late 90s, might be the early
- 20:292000s when the abortion pill was first legalized.
- 20:33So in the 90s is when it was legalized first by then
- 20:36President Bill Clinton. The history of the abortion
- 20:39pill, of course, is a lengthy one.
- 20:40We're not going to get into all of that today.
- 20:42But what I can say, what I will say is that Bill Clinton was the
- 20:45one who ultimately fast tracked its authorization.
- 20:50So his FDA fast tracked the authorization of the abortion
- 20:54pill, even though it didn't go through any kind of proper
- 20:57clinical trial process. And once the abortion pill was
- 21:01on the market, it started to grow in popularity in in the use
- 21:05of killing babies and it started to claim the lives of women too,
- 21:09and girls. So we're going to watch a video
- 21:11here of the story of one of these young women, the first
- 21:14young women in America who was killed by the abortion pill, by
- 21:18the legal abortion pill. And this is her father, her
- 21:20distraught father talking about what happened to her.
- 21:23This is the story of Holly. 18th birthday On September 10th,
- 21:262003, she walked into a Planned Parenthood clinic to be
- 21:31administered in RU46 medical abortion regimen.
- 21:35By the 4th day, she was admitted to the emergency room of a local
- 21:40hospital. She was examined.
- 21:44She was given painkillers. She complained of bleeding,
- 21:47cramping, Constipation and pain, but subsequently she was sent
- 21:52home. Seven days after taking RU, 46,
- 21:55Holly returned to the same emergency room hospital
- 21:58complaining of weakness, vomiting, abdominal pain.
- 22:02Hours later, I was called to the hospital where I found her
- 22:05surrounded by doctors and nurses, barely conscious and
- 22:08struggling to breathe. Holly was so weak she could
- 22:12barely hold on to my hand. Feeling utter disbelief and
- 22:15desperation, I watched Holly succumb to a massive bacterial
- 22:19infection as a result of a drug induced abortion with RU46.
- 22:24With the support of my family and friends, I've spent
- 22:27thousands of hours researching medical and scientific journals,
- 22:31talking to doctors, legislators, state and federal agencies, and
- 22:36to learn about the drug RU 46, otherwise known as
- 22:41Mythopristone. I believe that RU 46 is the
- 22:45substantial contributing factor responsible for Hawley's death.
- 22:51Currently, there have been 8 deaths reported by the FDA
- 22:54linked with the drug. Furthermore, there are 900 or
- 22:59more serious health consequences associated with RU46.
- 23:04How many must I needlessly before this drug is removed from
- 23:08the market? Women have been and are still
- 23:12relying upon what they think is truthful information concerning
- 23:16the limited risk involved with a medical abortion.
- 23:20Yet does the average patient, a teenager like Holly, understand
- 23:25she may be risking her life taking RU46 when she's
- 23:28repeatedly exposed to statements like it's what women have wanted
- 23:32for years? It's the first FDA approved pill
- 23:36providing women with a safe and effective non surgical option
- 23:40for ending early pregnancy. There are no quick fixes or
- 23:44magical pills to make an unplanned pregnancy go away.
- 23:48My family, friends and community were deeply saddened and are
- 23:51forever marred by Holly's preventable and tragic death.
- 23:56It is my vibrant memory of Holly and her premature death that
- 23:59have inspired me to make the public aware of the serious and
- 24:03lethal effects of the RU 46 regimen.
- 24:07Not a day goes by that I do not recall her brilliant blue eyes,
- 24:11engaging smile, laughter and sheer general beauty.
- 24:17Holly's personal drive and unwavering determination
- 24:23continue to inspire me and give me strength to pursue these
- 24:27critical issues and her name. I mean, his story is so gut
- 24:31wrenching. This father, he's so distraught
- 24:33because he lost his daughter, of course, because of the abortion
- 24:36bill, because of RU 486 or Mythopristone.
- 24:38And he's testifying right here about this experience and he's
- 24:41saying these pills are dangerous.
- 24:43Why are no one, why is no one being told this, right?
- 24:47Well, because the very advocates who claim to speak for women and
- 24:50for Women's Health are lying. They're not telling you the
- 24:54truth. They're not telling women the
- 24:55truth. They're not telling us the facts
- 24:58about the risks of RU 46, the thousands of women who have gone
- 25:01to emergency rooms because of RU 46, the abortion pill.
- 25:05That's not headline news. That's not in any way a story
- 25:09that we hear. What we hear is headline news
- 25:13when somebody like Amber passes away tragically, and then her
- 25:18death is weaponized not to expose the evil of the abortion
- 25:21pill, or her death is weaponized by abortion advocates to say we
- 25:25want more abortion pills. How dare Georgia not give all of
- 25:29its women abortion pills, How dare Georgia protect the lives
- 25:33of innocent babies? And look, guys, when I think
- 25:36about this, I also think about the fact that we can do so much
- 25:41better as women than abortion, that we living in a society that
- 25:47tells us that the solution to unexpected pregnancy, the
- 25:51solution to pregnancy complications is to kill the
- 25:53baby. What a brutal society to live
- 25:56in. We've got to do better than
- 25:58that. And I think women are stronger
- 26:01and more capable than we sometimes make them out to be.
- 26:06And human beings, the human spirit has more possibility, has
- 26:09more power than we give it. And so when we say to women, you
- 26:14need abortion, you need abortion, you need abortion, I
- 26:16think it's infantilizing of women.
- 26:19And I think that part of the solution here is to work to
- 26:23connect women in need, families in need with the resources that
- 26:27they need. Because there's thousands of
- 26:29pregnancy resource centers and resources out there.
- 26:32But it's really also an information campaign.
- 26:35You know, we have thousands of pregnancy centers, we have
- 26:37thousands of resources out there.
- 26:38Some of them go a full day and they only get a couple visits.
- 26:42They don't have enough people even showing up at the door to
- 26:44get all of the free resources, the counseling, the prenatal
- 26:47care, the parenting classes, the resources, the the diapers, the,
- 26:51the clothes, the material support, the housing support
- 26:54that they may have to offer. They have a lot to offer.
- 26:58But when we have it ingrained in our minds in our society that if
- 27:03I get pregnant, I should just have an abortion, right?
- 27:06If that's, if that's the go to that I should have an abortion
- 27:10because that's the right thing for me to do, the smart thing
- 27:13for me to do, then we can have all the resources in the world
- 27:16and they won't matter, right? So, so much of our pro-life
- 27:19movement has to be to speak the truth and to educate people
- 27:21about what abortion actually is and to educate people about why
- 27:26we need abortion laws to prohibit abortion.
- 27:29If North Carolina had abortion illegal as Georgia did, Amber
- 27:34would not have drove there to get these abortion pills.
- 27:36She likely would not have taken the abortion pills.
- 27:39Imagine if we put all of our fire and our fuel and our money,
- 27:43you know, and Kamala Harris, instead of using your platform
- 27:45to promote abortion, she used it to promote supporting mothers
- 27:48and saying we've got to do better for moms and kids.
- 27:51Imagine how transformational that would be, how many lives
- 27:55that that would save, right? That's what we've got to work
- 27:58towards. I want to address something else
- 28:01here, which is this mythology now that's developing that
- 28:07somehow abortion is healthcare, right?
- 28:08And we need abortion for medical emergencies.
- 28:11When the reality is the countries, some of the countries
- 28:15with the best pro-life laws have the lowest maternal mortality
- 28:21rates in the world. This is really interesting data
- 28:23that I wanted to share with you guys.
- 28:25Did you know as an example, we're going to show this chart
- 28:27here in a minute. The country of Malta has one of
- 28:30the lowest maternal mortality rates in the world.
- 28:33Malta is a fully pro-life country, so they do not permit
- 28:37any abortion and they have not had a single maternal death in
- 28:4112 years. All right, check out this chart.
- 28:44Let me see. Let me know if you guys can see
- 28:45this. This is really incredible.
- 28:48So this is a chart through the year 2020, from the year 2000,
- 28:51so 20 years of maternal mortality rates.
- 28:54So your maternal mortality rate as a country, as you guys
- 28:56probably know, is how many women basically are dying who are
- 29:00pregnant, whether it's from birth or pregnancy.
- 29:03And what's so incredible about this maternal mortality ratio,
- 29:07This is a modeled estimate, So for every 100,000 live birth.
- 29:10So it's taking into account the size of populations, etcetera.
- 29:13You can see the top line here is China.
- 29:16OK, this red line, an extremely high maternal mortality rate.
- 29:21It's gone down over the last 20 years, but it's still very high.
- 29:24Who's up there with China in terms of having an extremely
- 29:27high maternal mortality rate? And China, by the way, as you
- 29:29guys know, it's abortion on demand and and in many ways
- 29:33coerced abortion. Who else has the sky high
- 29:35maternal mortality rate? the United States, who has a
- 29:40lower maternal mortality rate than the United States?
- 29:43The UK is lower than US, but even lower than the UK are three
- 29:48countries who have been very pro-life.
- 29:51Two of them are still strongly pro-life and one of them in just
- 29:54recent years has faltered. But before that it was strongly
- 29:57pro-life and their maternal mortality rates were some of the
- 30:00best in the world. Those countries include Ireland,
- 30:03Malta and Poland. Malta, I already mentioned, has
- 30:05not had a maternal death in 12 years.
- 30:08Ireland had a complete abortion ban for decades until just a few
- 30:13years ago. But you see for the 20 years of
- 30:162000 to 20/20/20 how low their maternal mortality rate was.
- 30:20They didn't need abortion for women's healthcare in Ireland.
- 30:23They don't need abortion for women's healthcare in Malta.
- 30:26Those are some of the healthiest populations and the safest
- 30:29places to have a baby. There's no abortion.
- 30:32There was no abortion or in Ireland and there is no abortion
- 30:36in Malta. But the United States with our
- 30:381,000,000 abortions a year, we're killing more women who are
- 30:43pregnant than any of these other countries on this graph except
- 30:46for China. So when you look at a holistic
- 30:50view of what is a healthcare system look like that is
- 30:52actually going to help women and lead to better outcomes for
- 30:57women, it does not include abortion.
- 31:00So this is the big lie, right? This is the big scam of media
- 31:04today. The big scam of media today is
- 31:07that you need abortion. That is that killing a baby is
- 31:10somehow healthcare. When thousands of OBGYN agree
- 31:15abortion is not healthcare. It's not.
- 31:17It's not needed in a medical setting.
- 31:19And when we know the truth that abortion is actually the
- 31:21intentional destruction of an innocent human life, That's what
- 31:25an abortion is. And it's never medically
- 31:28necessary. It is just honestly, it's just
- 31:32heartbreaking and it should lead us to, I think, a righteous
- 31:36indignation that these lies are just told incessantly.
- 31:40And I do think sometimes guys that listen, I do think that
- 31:44sometimes because the lies are so incessant and they make it,
- 31:49they make anyone who opposes the lie to be like the outcast.
- 31:52You are so crazy to be pro-life. You are so crazy to want an
- 31:57abortion ban. How could you?
- 31:59You're like, it's such a tiny minority.
- 32:02And that narrative is so pernicious because it tells you
- 32:09the lie again and again and again until people think it's
- 32:12true. And then it gaslights the person
- 32:16who's speaking the truth to the lie and saying, how dare you
- 32:20even think that? How dare you even say that?
- 32:24And the only way to deal with those sorts of bullies, because
- 32:27that's, that's, that's like a bully on the playground who's
- 32:30saying the sky is red, the sky is red, the sky is red.
- 32:33And if you dare say anything, you are stupid and I'm going to
- 32:37punch you in the face, right? That's the, that's the idea
- 32:39here, right? The only solution to this is to
- 32:43stand up to the bully and to never back down and to say, no,
- 32:47what is true is true. Abortion is not healthcare.
- 32:50Abortion is the killing of an innocent human being.
- 32:52And I'm going to oppose it no matter what.
- 32:54And guess what? A lot more people would even
- 32:56agree with me or have the courage to agree with me if they
- 32:58see me standing up to the bully. That's what this is.
- 33:02The other part that's so pernicious here, it's so
- 33:04deceptive is that the bully who's saying the sky is red, the
- 33:07sky is red, the sky is red, right?
- 33:08That's pro abortion Bully is also saying, and I'm the one who
- 33:12cares for women, not you, right? That's that's the pro publica
- 33:15lie. That's the Kamala Harris lie.
- 33:16Well, I care about women and you don't care.
- 33:18You hate women. This is a complete lie.
- 33:21As you know, the pro-life path is the only pro woman path.
- 33:26It is a pro child path. Women's Healthcare is better
- 33:31served when abortion is off the table.
- 33:33That's proven by maternal mortality rates being better in
- 33:36pro-life countries, and it's proven by the testimonies of
- 33:38thousands of medical professionals who attest to
- 33:41that. Women's Healthcare is better
- 33:44without abortion. And of course babies are better
- 33:48off without abortion. They're not dismembered and
- 33:50killed by abortion. We've got to say these things
- 33:53again and again, guys. And I just want to, I'm so
- 33:55grateful there are many of you speaking out about this.
- 33:58And I want to encourage you to keep doing it because the more
- 34:00you speak, the easier it will be for other people to speak to and
- 34:05for other people to not just listen and believe the incessant
- 34:10lies coming from media groups and coming from even some of the
- 34:15highest offices in the in the country, like our, you know, the
- 34:19vice President Harris, who's running to be president of the
- 34:22United States. So we've got to keep on pushing
- 34:25back against the lives. You know, my heart goes out to
- 34:28Amber for the loss of her life, the loss of her twins life for
- 34:33for her six year old son that she left behind.
- 34:36Imagine if we lived in a society instead that never thought of
- 34:39abortion even as an option. It was, it was just a seen as a
- 34:43as a horrible and dangerous thing that should not be
- 34:45considered. Amber would be alive.
- 34:48Amber would be alive and her twins would be alive.
- 34:52That's the society we need to fight for.
- 34:54For her sake, for the sake of her, for her twins that we've
- 34:58lost. Listen, abortion bans don't just
- 35:01save the lives of babies. Abortion bans save the lives of
- 35:05women too. They save the lives of people
- 35:09that are being tricked into believing that killing a baby is
- 35:12somehow healthcare and it's going to somehow help them get
- 35:14ahead when it can never do either of those things.
- 35:17It can never actually heal, and it can never actually help you
- 35:20get ahead in any meaningful way. Because the most important thing
- 35:25at the end of the day is not how wealthy I am or how many
- 35:30opportunities are I have or how many things I get to do because
- 35:33I'm not shackled with a baby, right?
- 35:34This is the mentality, but it's about relationships and it's
- 35:38about love. That ultimately is the path to
- 35:41the deepest human meaning and experience, not all the material
- 35:46things that people are sometimes tempted to or people sometimes
- 35:49want to prioritize. So I hope for future Amber's out
- 35:54there that our movement can get through to them.
- 35:56That we can be there to be the resources and the support that's
- 35:59needed, because that support is out there.
- 36:02And that we can put in place the abortion bans in every state to
- 36:06stop the killing and to instead move healthcare to focus on
- 36:11loving and serving both mother and baby and not pitting mother
- 36:16against baby. All right, I'm going to take a
- 36:18look at the chat we got. We still have to cover the Ted
- 36:21Cruz bill that was recently the competing bills between Cruz and
- 36:28the Democrats. Thanks, everybody again for
- 36:31joining the chat. Rachel, thanks for joining.
- 36:34Rachel says I can't believe they're misinforming people
- 36:36about her death for political weaponry.
- 36:39It's very devastating. Brooke is saying women deserve
- 36:42better OB care 100% that is. That is exactly it.
- 36:47Loli Valento is saying the clinic that she got the pills
- 36:49from wouldn't have helped her. They would have sent her to an
- 36:51ER exactly where she went. That's true, by the way.
- 36:55That is that that the reality is most of these abortion clinics,
- 36:58they're not prepared to deal with serious complications from
- 37:01the abortions that they do. So they'll call the ER if
- 37:05there's an an emergency situation at their clinic.
- 37:07Or they'll wait to call the ER because they don't want to have
- 37:11the sirens running outside their building and scare off potential
- 37:14clients. Or they'll send the woman home
- 37:17and she'll have to call the ER. But they're not set up to deal
- 37:20with high risk situations. And these are abortion clinics.
- 37:23Planned Parenthood is not dealing with high risk
- 37:25situations. They're going to send you to a
- 37:27hospital for that. So that's why so many women show
- 37:30up at the ER. One out of every 25 women who
- 37:32take an abortion pill will show up at the emergency room.
- 37:36That's because this is a deadly, deadly drug.
- 37:39Danielle says thank you for speaking the truth.
- 37:41Thank you, Danielle, thank you for listening.
- 37:43All right, we are going to go over to the story we're
- 37:48following here on IVF legislation.
- 37:50We just did a podcast on this as you guys may have listened to it
- 37:53with Doctor Lauren Rubal. It was really insightful.
- 37:56She had a lot to say about the Trump Vance policy proposal on
- 38:02IVF. So you guys probably have
- 38:04already heard this, but President Trump proposed a few
- 38:07weeks ago, taxpayer funded IVF for all people.
- 38:11Pretty insane policy proposal, especially considering that this
- 38:16goes against not just the conscience protections of
- 38:19everyday Americans because IVF involves highly dangerous and
- 38:22unethical technology that leads to the death of 93% of the
- 38:27babies that are created via IVF. But it also goes against the
- 38:31beliefs of many Americans, this approach to a fertility
- 38:35technology. And in addition, you're talking
- 38:37up to $60,000 per live birth that IVF costs.
- 38:42So this is an incredible amount of money.
- 38:45And the American, our American culture is the Wild West of the
- 38:49IVF industry. We don't have any regulations.
- 38:52You can create a dozen babies. You can create two dozen babies.
- 38:54You can sex select the baby you want.
- 38:56You can indefinitely freeze your babies in the United States.
- 38:59You can be a single man and get a baby.
- 39:01You can be two gay men and get a baby.
- 39:04It doesn't matter. You can just get a baby.
- 39:06You can create a baby using this technology without any of the
- 39:10natural order in place and the natural protections of the
- 39:13natural order in place. And by that I mean there's
- 39:16natural protections in place with the natural way that life
- 39:19comes into being, right? Meaning when I'm pregnant
- 39:23naturally, there's a whole series of hormones and interplay
- 39:28to create a sense of protectiveness for that baby.
- 39:30If that baby is born, a sense of protectiveness for that baby.
- 39:34Of course, women I think have a natural protectiveness.
- 39:37Men also have it, but it's it's a different kind.
- 39:40There's a lot of science behind why there's bonds are so
- 39:43beautiful and natural between mother and baby, between baby
- 39:47and parents. And IVF not only recklessly
- 39:50treats the lives of millions of babies, There's a million baby
- 39:54babies frozen right now via IVF, but it also breaks all of those
- 39:59natural bonds. So we have these horror stories.
- 40:02Of people like the two men in California who created and test
- 40:06tubes little babies had a little baby boy implanted in a
- 40:09surrogate. These were two men living in a
- 40:12same sex relationship and the baby was 20 weeks old.
- 40:17The surrogate this is a woman named Brittany in California
- 40:20found out she had early stage breast cancer.
- 40:22She wanted to get cancer treatment so she wanted to do an
- 40:24early delivery of the baby but still let the baby survive.
- 40:27Of course, this little boy and the two dads said we don't want
- 40:33our genetic material out there. We want you to kill the baby.
- 40:36I want you to abort this 20 week old baby.
- 40:39And that's what happened to him. This little boy was created in a
- 40:46in vitro fertilization clinic with probably multiple other
- 40:50siblings, genetic siblings who are either destroyed or frozen
- 40:54indefinitely. He was chosen to be implanted in
- 40:58the womb of a woman who didn't know him from Adam, was paid
- 41:03money for this. She gestated that little boy
- 41:06till he was 20 weeks old. He could feel pain, He could
- 41:09move. He had all of his, you know,
- 41:12fingers and toes, his beautiful eyes and face and eyelashes.
- 41:16And his dad's decided they didn't want him anymore.
- 41:20And so they ordered his death and they achieved his death.
- 41:23He was killed. In my state, this is legal,
- 41:26guys. This is the IVF industry.
- 41:28So of course there should be an outcry against a government
- 41:31funded proposal to force, to mandate insurance companies and
- 41:35taxpayers to fund this for anybody and everybody.
- 41:38And that is where the blowback lies, right?
- 41:41But I just want to look at what has happened here with this
- 41:44legislation because you guys should know this isn't just the
- 41:46Trump fans ticket doing this. This is this weird the focus of
- 41:52some Republicans now to push for IVFI think they're trying to
- 41:55find something that's going to be maybe populist and win
- 41:58amongst the voters. I don't know what the the the
- 42:00focus here is exactly politically that the strategy.
- 42:03But this is not a smart strategy.
- 42:06First of all, because this is serious ethical complications
- 42:09with it that are upsetting a lot of potential voters.
- 42:13But it's also very short sighted.
- 42:15Because if you want to make America a healthier place for
- 42:19families and address infertility, you would actually
- 42:22pursue and invest in restorative fertility treatments that
- 42:26address the root causes of infertility and work with the
- 42:29body naturally to achieve pregnancy instead of using this
- 42:32unethical and dangerous technology of IVF.
- 42:34And that technology, by the way, restorative approaches to
- 42:37fertility. And we talked about this with
- 42:39Doctor Rubal on the podcast in the episode that came out
- 42:42yesterday. The restorative approach to
- 42:44fertility has as good outcomes in achieving a live birth in, in
- 42:48many studies as IVF and it's dramatically less expensive.
- 42:55Usually the average cost for these restorative approaches are
- 42:57between maybe 2 or $5000. IVF can be up to $60,000 to
- 43:02achieve one life birth. So she shared some really
- 43:04incredible information. Go back and check out that
- 43:06episode if you can. But what is what is happening
- 43:10here with this IVF legislation? So right now the Democrats had a
- 43:16IVF bill out and they wanted to again do IVF, tax funded,
- 43:22mandated, everything else. Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz
- 43:26responded with his own and and Senator Kate Britt from Alabama
- 43:31responded with their own IVF bill.
- 43:35So let's pull this article up from The Hill explaining what
- 43:37happened here. It says Democrats on Tuesday
- 43:40blocked an attempt by Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Katie
- 43:42Britt to pass a GOP in vitro fertilization access bill
- 43:47through unanimous consent. The fact that the GOP is doing
- 43:50AIVF access bill is absolutely crazy.
- 43:53This is insane. This would not even have been
- 43:55considered two years ago. I think this is the Trump
- 43:58influence in the party because Trump gutted the RNC platform on
- 44:03life and then added in birth control and added in IVF, very
- 44:07ethically problematic procedures and approaches that actually
- 44:10lead to more abortions. But the article goes on to share
- 44:14that, you know, Ted Cruz blasted the vote as a show vote.
- 44:18Yes, this is all show votes, by the way.
- 44:20These are show votes for and against IVF because this has now
- 44:23become this partisan issue and this, this fight to say, well, I
- 44:28care about women more than you. That's what's going on between
- 44:30the Republicans and the Democrats here.
- 44:32When the reality is IVF is not caring about women.
- 44:36If you want to address the fertility crisis in America, IVF
- 44:39is not the way. IVF is incredibly painful.
- 44:42It's incredibly expensive. It leads to the deaths of 93% of
- 44:45the babies that it creates or the indefinite freezing.
- 44:48It is not the way guys. Of course, any baby can see via
- 44:52IVF is an incredible gift and that's why this is a problem
- 44:56because we know IVF creates life and so we need to have standards
- 45:00for how we do this and and protect the babies that are
- 45:04created. So anyways, it goes on the, the,
- 45:09you know, Cruz's, he's obviously criticizing the Republicans.
- 45:13They're all, they're all criticizing each other.
- 45:15This is the, the, this is the distinction between the bills.
- 45:18The GOP bill would bar states from receiving Medicaid funding
- 45:22if they implement a ban on IVF, but explicitly does not
- 45:25guarantee a right to IVF services.
- 45:28So the Cruz bill and the Brit bill does not go as far as what
- 45:32President Trump is asking them to do because President Trump
- 45:34wants it to be paid for by the taxpayer. 100% right.
- 45:38They're saying that you actually won't get Medicaid money if you
- 45:42stop IVF in your state. So if a pro-life state wanted to
- 45:46regulate IVF in a way that would prohibit it from being done
- 45:51because of the cost it is to human lives, that state now,
- 45:54because of Republicans in this case, would not be able to get
- 45:58Medicaid money. I mean, how did we get here that
- 46:01the Republicans are doing this? This is so off kilter.
- 46:05This is wrong, right? It's obviously more extreme what
- 46:08the Democrats are pushing for here.
- 46:10They're now doing what Trump wants, which is guaranteeing a
- 46:14right to IVF. So President Trump is to the
- 46:17left here, you know, even of his own GOP in the Senate anyways.
- 46:22And what they're pushing in the Senate, but it's all very
- 46:25problematic. And, and, and I think it's
- 46:27ignorance. I mean, a lot of this, I think
- 46:28it's people, People want to address infertility.
- 46:32People want to solve the problem of infertility.
- 46:34And I understand that we should solve that.
- 46:36It is a heart wrenching rising challenge for many people in
- 46:40this country. Infertility is heart wrenching.
- 46:44But the answer to infertility is not IVF.
- 46:48The answer to infertility is addressing root causes is
- 46:52working in a restorative approach to really help couples
- 46:55and families be able to have children.
- 46:58And in those cases where it is impossible for whatever reason,
- 47:02that's where I think we need to celebrate and uphold the
- 47:04beautiful gift that adoption can be.
- 47:07Because keep in mind that one million children aborted every
- 47:10year. A million children aborted every
- 47:12year. Imagine if instead of creating
- 47:15all of these precious new lives via IVF and freezing million of
- 47:19them indefinitely and many of them getting destroyed, we
- 47:22instead stop abortions and not a million children a year that are
- 47:26killed in abortion are instead loved and welcomed, their
- 47:30mothers supported, and they're placed in loving homes.
- 47:33Imagine if that was the solution to the fertility crisis instead
- 47:37of the approach that we're taking, which is so wasteful and
- 47:41dangerous to human life. I think it would be a great
- 47:44solution. I think that's what our
- 47:47lawmakers should focus on, restorative approaches and
- 47:50helping women who are pregnant and if they can't parent for
- 47:54whatever reason, aiding the adoption process to support that
- 47:59birth mother as well as the adoptive families.
- 48:01That is the solution. That is what we should be aiming
- 48:04towards. All right, guys, thank you so
