- 0:13Speaker 1: mother like the looking bucks bus things and it's cost
- 0:19Speaker 1: me true good it. Steve has listening to move together
- 0:26Speaker 1: for Steve Barby, I don't join by joining me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn hur the You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn out to turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby at it. Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: show will good morning everybody, y'all listening to the VARs,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now wanting on it. Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, man on man on man, grateful
- 2:13Speaker 1: for it comes with a huge amount of responsibility. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: didn't really know I was gonna have to be this responsible,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, Um, can I share something with y'all? I
- 2:23Speaker 1: started out to Finally I had gotten on track and
- 2:27Speaker 1: was able to see a way to even pursue my dream.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It has been a long, a long trip that I've
- 2:36Speaker 1: been on, and I've gone through so many phases of it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams.
- 2:45Speaker 1: What I'm saying is this, let me, let me put
- 2:47Speaker 1: it together. Because I got so much running through my
- 2:49Speaker 1: head right now. You know it's it's one thing to
- 2:52Speaker 1: accomplish your dream, but there's joy in the process of
- 2:58Speaker 1: achieving it. See, some people are so caught up in
- 3:03Speaker 1: the goal, the final goal, that they find no joy,
- 3:09Speaker 1: no enjoyment in the process. If you have found what
- 3:15Speaker 1: it is you want to do and you strike out
- 3:19Speaker 1: on that journey, please understand you are far more blessed
- 3:24Speaker 1: than the average person to know what it is you
- 3:27Speaker 1: really want to do, to find your work in life,
- 3:32Speaker 1: your purpose, to find out what direction you want to
- 3:36Speaker 1: go in is such a blessing. The average person if
- 3:40Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have
- 3:44Speaker 1: their life on track. And it'd be some people that
- 3:46Speaker 1: you're looking at you think God are going on because
- 3:49Speaker 1: of their appearance, their swagger, or they walk like it,
- 3:53Speaker 1: they talk like it, they look like it. But if
- 3:55Speaker 1: you sit down and talk to the average person, the
- 3:59Speaker 1: average person man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:04Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:07Speaker 1: no idea how to get there. If you are on
- 4:10Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:14Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to be,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and you are on your way there, you are truly blessed,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and in that blessing, you must recognize it as a blessing.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You must recognize the fact that you are on the
- 4:31Speaker 1: right side, and that there should be a sense of
- 4:34Speaker 1: accomplishment and a feeling of pride in you that you
- 4:38Speaker 1: are on track to accomplish your goal. See what used
- 4:42Speaker 1: to happen was sometimes I used to keep my nose
- 4:45Speaker 1: so on the grindstone that I wouldn't even look up
- 4:49Speaker 1: and realize. Man, hey man, I know you're trying to
- 4:53Speaker 1: get here, but Steve, hold on, man, can't you see
- 4:56Speaker 1: what you've done so far? Can't you find just some
- 4:59Speaker 1: joy in the process. See, a lot of us lose
- 5:03Speaker 1: the joy of the blessings God has given us because
- 5:06Speaker 1: we're looking at the end. Tomot, I ain't there yet.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You on your way. I'm gonna give you an example.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I had a friend who told me that they wanted
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be a million now, and they asked me some
- 5:18Speaker 1: questions and I told him, so they started the process,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I am telling you, this dude works extremely hard.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So about a year later we were talking. He had
- 5:34Speaker 1: found this business, he had set his goal, and he
- 5:40Speaker 1: was working towards it. Then about two years later, I
- 5:43Speaker 1: ran up into him again. We were talking about it
- 5:45Speaker 1: and everything. It's a man, really really appreciate the advice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is all jacked up, man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: because I still ain't made that million I was talking about.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I said, well, hey, man, just just keep at it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It's coming. He's a man. Keep at it. Man. You
- 6:01Speaker 1: know how long I've been doing this? Been two years now.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And I didn't say that to him, but I said
- 6:07Speaker 1: to myself, yeah, two years. He said, Man, I've been
- 6:10Speaker 1: grinding so long. Man, it's just it ain't having it
- 6:12Speaker 1: from me. I said, wait a minute, man, hold on,
- 6:15Speaker 1: hold on. I said, about how much you're making right
- 6:18Speaker 1: now a year, man, about two hundred and fifty thousand.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I quit breathing. I said, well, my man, two years
- 6:28Speaker 1: ago you didn't have a clue. Two years later, you're
- 6:34Speaker 1: making a quarter of a million dollars. I said, man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: do you understand how blessed you are? I said, man,
- 6:41Speaker 1: your family was about to get put out two years ago.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You don't bought a house? Yeah, man, but this ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: the house. I really won't. Ohoa Pardner, WHOA I got that?
- 6:52Speaker 1: I got that house. You really won't make Mike call
- 6:56Speaker 1: five eight million. I don't know, but man, y'all gotta high.
- 7:00Speaker 1: You're making the payments. You drive it. You ain't out
- 7:02Speaker 1: no more. I said, holder. Man, you got to stop.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I said, you got to stop. I said, man, because
- 7:07Speaker 1: right now, man, you you coming across. That's real ungrateful
- 7:09Speaker 1: to me. And so he said, man, why are you
- 7:12Speaker 1: tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like don't nobody
- 7:15Speaker 1: want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa man?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Where you going with this conversation? I said, Oh, I
- 7:19Speaker 1: didn't come to you. I just came to you and
- 7:20Speaker 1: ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to point
- 7:23Speaker 1: out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:27Speaker 1: that you are on your weight, and you are in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals. And can you not
- 7:32Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 7:36Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 7:42Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen thousand dollars a year. You
- 7:44Speaker 1: making quarter of a million dollars in two years. May
- 7:46Speaker 1: come on, man, can't you see? Can't you see? So
- 7:50Speaker 1: he said? Eventually a man I kind of see what
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're saying. But that ain't about nothing to me because
- 7:55Speaker 1: I ran up into him a year and a half later.
- 8:00Speaker 1: How you're doing, man, Man, I showed, wish I'd appreciate
- 8:04Speaker 1: it my life when I had it like that? I said,
- 8:06Speaker 1: what you mean, had it like that? Man? Just fell
- 8:09Speaker 1: on some hard times. Man, I'm right back why I was.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And then we talked. I said, hey, man, don't worry
- 8:15Speaker 1: about it. I said. Once you know how to accomplish something,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I said, you just reapply the same principles and start
- 8:20Speaker 1: on over again. Man, you know how hard it is
- 8:23Speaker 1: to be to start over. Okay, my man, Hold up, partner,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you can't do yourself like this again. First you wasn't
- 8:28Speaker 1: grateful for what you had. Now you're looking at the
- 8:31Speaker 1: fact that you might have to start over, and you
- 8:33Speaker 1: know how hard it is to start over. Maybe God said, okay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you ain't happy with this? Okay, didn't handle it your way?
- 8:42Speaker 1: You obviously ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it
- 8:44Speaker 1: into your life. You want to handle it your weight,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Go ahead and handle it, because he will let you
- 8:48Speaker 1: have it your way. Can I tell you that he
- 8:51Speaker 1: will let you do it exactly the way? You want
- 8:53Speaker 1: to it because he gives us all the power of choice.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So then maybe he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the
- 8:58Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. You don't like the favor I'm
- 9:00Speaker 1: showing you. You think it's take it too long. I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. I'm not gonna
- 9:04Speaker 1: turn my back on you. I'm just gonna let you
- 9:06Speaker 1: do it your way. Just just say. Maybe he said that,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and now he right back where it was. So what
- 9:12Speaker 1: I try to get the young cat to understand was, man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: appreciate your life for what it is, because like life,
- 9:20Speaker 1: Jenny's got that song that he got out off this album.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Still I still believe it could have been worse. And
- 9:26Speaker 1: now that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 9:31Speaker 1: if you are on that side of life where you
- 9:33Speaker 1: have figured out what you want to do, you know
- 9:35Speaker 1: how you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You're accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't
- 9:45Speaker 1: throw yourself off to cliff. It's gonna be all right.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Success takes a measure of time. It is not easy.
- 9:52Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. You're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: tow everybody. You're listening to the Steve Harvin Morning Show.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Our leader, our feelish leader. Went to the game. He's
- 10:08Speaker 1: on his way in. He can come and later. It

- 10:24Speaker 1: when I'm late. That's all we talk. Well, you know
- 10:27Speaker 1: when I'm late. I get it too. I understand what
- 10:29Speaker 1: you're saying. Yeah, you know, but he late. Okay, he late.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I ain't never like. Okay, thank you, thank you. Let's
- 10:35Speaker 1: put that out there. I'm the Steve. It's late. But
- 10:38Speaker 1: we went to the game, yes, and now the next

- 10:45Speaker 1: it all morning time. All as long as you dog
- 10:47Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna talk about it. Tell me if

- 11:00Speaker 1: on the scene about the game. Wasn't this morning? The
- 11:09Speaker 1: game was last night. You gotta talk Jane. You're got ang.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It ain't like the game just finished. Thank you, Jake. Jake.

- 11:24Speaker 1: Let's talk about that. You know the was the NFL
- 11:28Speaker 1: Honors Award. Yeah, he had the Pepto Bismo jacket on that.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I didn't see it. I saw three people got upset
- 11:43Speaker 1: stomach and all that with the three people behind him doing.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I know, I ain't only one scene. I didn't see
- 11:55Speaker 1: it that. Well, you know what. He's not here, but
- 11:56Speaker 1: I tell you who he is here. Shelly Strawberry is here.
- 11:59Speaker 1: What's up? Shot? Well, good morning, Jay? Did you hear
- 12:02Speaker 1: your voice? Everybody? What's up? And I tell you who
- 12:05Speaker 1: else is? Said Carlin for Rel is here? What's up? Carla? Oh?
- 12:10Speaker 1: I started to call lean on Super Monday. Let's say
- 12:18Speaker 1: millions of people though, Carla, take off on Super Bowl Monday,
- 12:22Speaker 1: especially when they're yes, when their team loses, they do,
- 12:25Speaker 1: oh my god. Well you know what, Jay, let me
- 12:30Speaker 1: let you finish. Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, good time. JA.
- 12:36Speaker 1: The city did the dog on, they did, they did
- 12:42Speaker 1: everybody homes Yeah, my homes boy, m VP. That was
- 12:49Speaker 1: a great game that was for any read you know,
- 12:52Speaker 1: winning because he hadn't won in a long time, and
- 12:54Speaker 1: that's his first one. That's his first first one. And
- 12:57Speaker 1: it was really sad the way they put that ice
- 12:59Speaker 1: water on that old man. That was not cool. Man.
- 13:02Speaker 1: They didn't you didn't like that. They hold that water
- 13:10Speaker 1: in kneed Lockdow right away and Gailorade. They shouldn't have
- 13:15Speaker 1: done that. Baby, I'm talking about I'm talking about the
- 13:26Speaker 1: Barbecue City. Then done the dog gone faint? Right? All right?
- 13:31Speaker 1: So hold on. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:33Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna just talk more football, Uh, find
- 13:38Speaker 1: out about what happened, talk about the commercials, all of that.
- 13:41Speaker 1: That's coming up at thirty two minutes after. Right after this,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening to the string show. Super Bowl Monday is

- 14:06Speaker 1: keeps texting late, I'm on my way. You know what
- 14:10Speaker 1: they'll call it when I do that. Though, as soon
- 14:13Speaker 1: as I say I'm late, I beat there in a minute.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Then you know what, he dogs me out. You're right
- 14:20Speaker 1: when you're talking about the person with the with the
- 14:23Speaker 1: Pepto Bismo jacket on at the hills. Well, the rules
- 14:27Speaker 1: are different when the jingle. That's just the way it
- 14:30Speaker 1: is when you season what you say, team Tommy. Rules
- 14:34Speaker 1: a little bit different when your names and the jingle.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. You started jacket, okay, whatever, whatever,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I know. You saw that jacket. I saw it. I
- 14:47Speaker 1: saw it. If you saw the Pepto bismo jacket, right, yes,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I didn't see it, yes, Okay, Then so I guess
- 14:58Speaker 1: for the jacket he had, he could be I don't
- 15:00Speaker 1: why is he know why? That's gonna be his story.
- 15:07Speaker 1: But it's a pattern. Every loud jacket. He's late because
- 15:12Speaker 1: he was not a pattern Jay a loud jacket. He
- 15:20Speaker 1: don't come in on time. I don't know what you know.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You're right, you're right, You're right. It's crazy. But he
- 15:27Speaker 1: will be here. I think he'll be here here. He'll
- 15:30Speaker 1: be here. And then when he gets here, are we
- 15:33Speaker 1: gonna ask him about the jacket? Yeah? You know, Shirley, Okay, okay, Shirley, sure,
- 15:40Speaker 1: don't don't let me down ask him. Sure. I'm not
- 15:43Speaker 1: gonna say that. I will time in later, but I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: just saying, ask him about it. There's something specifically? Um,
- 15:52Speaker 1: is there something specific? You want me to say? Why
- 15:55Speaker 1: the hell did you wear that jacket? You know I'm
- 15:58Speaker 1: not gonna say that pretty okay, sir? What you gonna
- 16:02Speaker 1: What is you gonna say? Then? So see you were
- 16:06Speaker 1: pretty fly? Tell us about the outfit? Yeah, I don't fly?
- 16:12Speaker 1: You know, so I'm taking like Jack? Are you getting
- 16:15Speaker 1: that from it? You just don't. You didn't like the jacket? No,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I did not like the jacket. I did not like
- 16:21Speaker 1: the Pepto Bismo Jack. It was a Pepto bismo jacket,
- 16:25Speaker 1: shirt and tie all together. I did not like it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Na is anybody with me? I checked? Nope, right now? Jacket? Okay? Good? Yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 1: wait talking about the jacket? Wait, what you changed? I
- 16:58Speaker 1: know I have come to that check. I will change.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I will change. But let's talk about the commercials yesterday
- 17:06Speaker 1: the Big Game. What was your favorite? Let's go go? Okay?
- 17:13Speaker 1: I think my favorite was the first one I saw,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and I knew it was going to be my favorite. Uh.
- 17:19Speaker 1: The little boy, the little black kid with the blond hair,
- 17:22Speaker 1: the blind mohawk. Take it to the house kid, Yeah, run.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I love the NFL h on the field favorite. Yes,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and I knew it would be my favorite. I didn't.

- 19:03Speaker 1: everything she did. I like, here's the thing, just because
- 19:05Speaker 1: you find don't make you a good singer. It just don't.

- 19:13Speaker 1: a freaking many she did. Yeah, she absolutely beautiful. Yes,
- 19:18Speaker 1: I really did. But I still waiting my time, Kira

- 19:30Speaker 1: show with Lizzo. That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Come on, but she wasn't as popular. I don't care.
- 19:40Speaker 1: We're starting it is now after she won the and

- 24:56Speaker 1: your neighbors. It's what it is, you know what I do,
- 24:58Speaker 1: respect my neighbors, because all it neghbors in the neighborhood
- 25:01Speaker 1: come except for you, because we already know you're on
- 25:04Speaker 1: y'ar on that list. Yet I hated that's neighbor that

- 25:59Speaker 1: to get out. You know, whatever, whatever, I make sure
- 26:02Speaker 1: I put it on the flyers that we don't want
- 26:05Speaker 1: people blocking driveways. But you know, obviously it happened, and
- 26:08Speaker 1: I apologize for that, But that's no reason for you
- 26:11Speaker 1: to be going on extra crazy and going to extra
- 26:13Speaker 1: mount talking about I'm calling the police. You what are
- 26:16Speaker 1: you're calling nobody? Man? Shut up? That right there is
- 26:18Speaker 1: what's wrong with black people today. Instead of coming to
- 26:21Speaker 1: me like a man, you're coming to me like a coward.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Instead of coming to me like a man and saying, listen,
- 26:26Speaker 1: now coming because the first thing you're talking about, oh,
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna call the police, and then when the police
- 26:32Speaker 1: come and beat your black pass up, you're gonna be
- 26:35Speaker 1: on the other line complaining talk about is to be
- 26:39Speaker 1: you want to be sure and doing this and that,
- 26:41Speaker 1: don't you know that's how you get fucked up. Man.
- 26:43Speaker 1: So it's black people. We gotta learn how to stick
- 26:46Speaker 1: together and come together. If you want to come to
- 26:48Speaker 1: the party. It sounds like you are silent Hayter on
- 26:50Speaker 1: the loaf for real, like you really want to come
- 26:52Speaker 1: to the party, but because you're the only person in
- 26:54Speaker 1: the neighborhood that hasn't been invited, now you're talking about
- 26:57Speaker 1: calling the police. I know exactly who you are? Who
- 27:01Speaker 1: am I You that dude that live up two three
- 27:03Speaker 1: streets over and you drive that that red pickup truck
- 27:07Speaker 1: with the flannel shirts and all of that. You're the
- 27:09Speaker 1: only person in the hood driving a red pickup truck
- 27:12Speaker 1: and the flannel It's wrong with you, man, That's why
- 27:14Speaker 1: you ain't getting no invite. And on top of that,
- 27:17Speaker 1: all those dogs you got running around in your backyard,
- 27:19Speaker 1: you need to clean them up. They'd be back there
- 27:21Speaker 1: and everything, and then the other neighbors can't even have
- 27:24Speaker 1: barbecues because your big rusty aass dogs running around. You
- 27:28Speaker 1: got a nerve to be talking about you calling the
- 27:29Speaker 1: police when we need to be calling the city on you.
- 27:32Speaker 1: All that trash you got in front of your house. Man,
- 27:35Speaker 1: get out of here. I'm gonna call the cops on
- 27:37Speaker 1: you right now. If you ain't wearing the flannel shirts,
- 27:41Speaker 1: with red pickup truck and the dogs running around with
- 27:43Speaker 1: all in the front yard, in the backyard and all
- 27:46Speaker 1: over the place. Who the are you that tell me?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Say no more? I'm gonna tell you who I am.
- 27:51Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yo just got pranked by your next dough neighbor, Brian,
- 27:59Speaker 1: That's who I am. You know what? You know what?
- 28:10Speaker 1: You know what? Now I'm definitely gonna kick you in
- 28:13Speaker 1: his shot. Man, you had me going, Man, I hold
- 28:20Speaker 1: when I run this prank, I hope the man with
- 28:22Speaker 1: the red pickup truck in and the flanner sort ain't
- 28:25Speaker 1: listening to it? All right, Man, I got one more thing.
- 28:32Speaker 1: You gotta tell me what's the baddest and I mean
- 28:34Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. Man, you already
- 28:38Speaker 1: know it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, come on
- 28:45Speaker 1: ya what this is gonna be your decade? And you
- 28:50Speaker 1: know what, Jun I don't care, I say, you don't care.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I don't here. Okay, I'm the prank I'm thank you, nephew.
- 29:00Speaker 1: You are a prankster and you are the key. Thank you.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have

- 29:09Speaker 1: you're listening to show? Well, good super Bowl Monday? Guess what?
- 29:17Speaker 1: The wind just blew him bad? Guess what do we

- 29:29Speaker 1: Wocome didn't know where I was. Man, I ain't gonna lie.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I woke up this morning, I said, what what time
- 29:47Speaker 1: is it? I had to go to the studio in Miami.
- 29:54Speaker 1: You know, yeah, because I was at the game last night.
- 29:58Speaker 1: The game was really really good. That was a good game,
- 30:01Speaker 1: you know, really really good game. Man. It was funny
- 30:05Speaker 1: because at halftime I had to go visit a friend
- 30:10Speaker 1: in a sweet. Right, So I get to his sweet
- 30:14Speaker 1: and he had a huge sweet. He's a different type dude,
- 30:17Speaker 1: very well off. Let's just says he is not rich.
- 30:23Speaker 1: He's wealthy, and he rents out three sweets every Super
- 30:28Speaker 1: Bowl and has all the CEOs for all of his
- 30:31Speaker 1: companies in him. So let's just stop there. So we're
- 30:35Speaker 1: in one of the sweets. Everybody in there was a
- 30:37Speaker 1: San Francisco fan except me, and so it was third quarter. Man,
- 30:45Speaker 1: they having a blast. Early fourth quarter, they having a blast.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I said, let me get out of here, man, before
- 30:51Speaker 1: they see the hatred on my face. It worked out,
- 30:56Speaker 1: man in Kansas City one, So that was great. It
- 30:59Speaker 1: was it was the weekend. I'd rather been to Kevin
- 31:02Speaker 1: hart Man. Kevin hart and I stood in up lobby
- 31:06Speaker 1: when they helped though, where you walk around to the
- 31:08Speaker 1: different suites and I stood there with Kevin Harf for
- 31:12Speaker 1: twenty minutes, man, and we talked and talked, Man, what
- 31:16Speaker 1: do the people, what do risk people talk about? What? Well,
- 31:19Speaker 1: it wasn't It was a spiritual conversation. And he ended
- 31:24Speaker 1: up he said, hey, Man, you gotta come and sit
- 31:28Speaker 1: with me, Man, so I can show you uncle what's
- 31:31Speaker 1: gonna happened. And so I told him I would. So
- 31:35Speaker 1: it was just one of those really really cool conversations
- 31:39Speaker 1: and that was really cool for me. Highlight them day
- 31:44Speaker 1: really and then uh NFL Honors was Saturday night. Come on,
- 31:50Speaker 1: come Onso suit We saw you baby. Yeah, look little
- 31:57Speaker 1: Richard and pepped up bism a time. It was, well,
- 32:01Speaker 1: it was a pepto bismo color to me, as far
- 32:05Speaker 1: as I'm concerned, it was pepto bismo. Well, go ahead,
- 32:09Speaker 1: check check. Might is more expensive than pepto bismo, it
- 32:15Speaker 1: really is. We might have to give you might have
- 32:17Speaker 1: to give another level HD time when you're buying by
- 32:20Speaker 1: the yard is way more expensive. Listen to the Taylor.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I'm just telling what I know. Pockets or no pockets,
- 32:31Speaker 1: lining or no lining. When they take you to the
- 32:36Speaker 1: future room, it's a whole different room. Has its own room.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Yeah with everybody else, Bismo running by two twenty five
- 32:53Speaker 1: per yard. But he had a pepto bismo suit. Is
- 32:57Speaker 1: that time? That sounds like even it ain't hate. I'm
- 33:01Speaker 1: just saying, I know what I saw. I saw, Steve.
- 33:05Speaker 1: What what I just I just let y'all go, you know,
- 33:11Speaker 1: right in front of you know, well, it's not really hate, Junior.
- 33:16Speaker 1: It's confusion. I'm not confused. I'm not conm Fucial brings
- 33:23Speaker 1: about confusial who ain't there? That's all it is. It
- 33:30Speaker 1: ain't nothing. We ain't never even discussed the honors or nothing.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It just we we stuck on the color. M What
- 33:40Speaker 1: was the vibe? Like? How are the people? How they
- 33:44Speaker 1: respond all of that? I know it's your second year.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Always a killer night. It was a great Steve. You
- 33:50Speaker 1: you did your thing. I came up with a resolution
- 33:56Speaker 1: surely to all end all and help with racial diversity
- 34:01Speaker 1: in the NFL. Oh really that was actually a good bit. Look,
- 34:09Speaker 1: please share. So I just came up. I just told
- 34:12Speaker 1: the brothers that I was speaking on the half of
- 34:14Speaker 1: the black people in the NFL, even though y'all ain't
- 34:17Speaker 1: asked me to. I just took it upon yourself. You know,
- 34:23Speaker 1: I ain't ran this by nobody or nothing, so here
- 34:27Speaker 1: it is for the first time. But y'all keep trying
- 34:29Speaker 1: to get something without giving something. You got to negotiate. See,
- 34:34Speaker 1: we keep wanting something, but we got to give them something.
- 34:38Speaker 1: So I just decided on three things we could trade, okay,
- 34:43Speaker 1: because everybody liked to negotiate, specially billion there. So I
- 34:46Speaker 1: just opened it with what I think is, if y'all
- 34:50Speaker 1: give us one black head coach, just one, okay, we'll
- 34:58Speaker 1: give y'all two WHI eight cornerbacks. And then I said, now,
- 35:09Speaker 1: listen to me. I suggest that you don't put them
- 35:13Speaker 1: both on the same team. Yeah, bring it up a
- 35:19Speaker 1: little bit. And then I just kept on and on
- 35:22Speaker 1: and on it went. It was really good, man. But
- 35:25Speaker 1: the NFL, honest for me, is it's such an amazing gig.
- 35:31Speaker 1: But it's because I'm such a football fan and I
- 35:35Speaker 1: know all them guys is in there, especially the old
- 35:38Speaker 1: players man, the legends. I just it's it's just a
- 35:42Speaker 1: great gig for me. Man. Wow. Well yeah, and you
- 35:49Speaker 1: did a great bismos and coming up with twenty minutes
- 35:53Speaker 1: after the hours, Steve, we'll have more super Bowl highlights
- 35:56Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening Harding Morning show. Well, super
- 36:01Speaker 1: Bowl fifty four was last night. Guys. What a game
- 36:05Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, you were there? Uh, Kansas City Chiefs new
- 36:09Speaker 1: Super Bowl champs. They won the game thirty one to twenty. Yep.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I'm walking down the hallway and his lady goes, please
- 36:20Speaker 1: please take a picture with me. And she was a
- 36:23Speaker 1: nice lady, but I was trying to get to the suite,
- 36:26Speaker 1: and so I said, well, man, I'm really trying to please.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I just love you so much. Please, my son loves you.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I said, okay, man, So she said she got it.
- 36:36Speaker 1: She got it. It was Patrick Mahomes mother. Oh man.
- 36:45Speaker 1: She was a nice lady. So the game gets started,
- 36:48Speaker 1: she stays in the hall because she can't watch the game.
- 36:52Speaker 1: She don't want to see it. Yeah, I feel her
- 36:55Speaker 1: on that. So she came in there and asked Marjorie
- 36:58Speaker 1: when she talked to her, to keep her company because
- 37:01Speaker 1: she can't watch the game. So all the women were
- 37:05Speaker 1: taking turns going out there, and she was a nervous
- 37:09Speaker 1: rack man, this woman. I felt so for her. And
- 37:12Speaker 1: then at halftime she went in and watched the halftime show,
- 37:15Speaker 1: which was whoa amazing and Shakira did her thing. Man,
- 37:26Speaker 1: can I tell you that was an incredible show? Them
- 37:30Speaker 1: girls clowned? Man, Yes they did, Yes they did. They clowned.
- 37:36Speaker 1: They got out now here. What's crazy? You know? Somebody
- 37:39Speaker 1: got something to say about everything. A group of dudes
- 37:44Speaker 1: that I happened to know now I gonna mention their
- 37:47Speaker 1: name was against it. What Yeah, I had was texting
- 37:52Speaker 1: a group of them and I heard a dude said,
- 37:55Speaker 1: I wasn't impressed. Then the other dude said I wasn't
- 37:59Speaker 1: I wasn't pressed by the talent. I got on the
- 38:03Speaker 1: group says listen to me. I got on a group
- 38:06Speaker 1: text because I know haters. When I hear I said,
- 38:10Speaker 1: that's because you all are poor? And that was what statement. Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 1: you know your statement had nothing to do with the
- 38:20Speaker 1: show I saw, So I figured my statement should have
- 38:24Speaker 1: nothing to do with what the hell you said, y'all
- 38:27Speaker 1: didn't like the show because your ass is poor? That
- 38:32Speaker 1: went radio silad. I ain't you know I'm gonna text
- 38:35Speaker 1: from nobody. Damn, I've the show was incredible. I really
- 38:39Speaker 1: did what Timmy spit it out. He's but you can't
- 38:46Speaker 1: say that. You can't say they poor they can't say
- 38:52Speaker 1: them girls didn't have talent. They were. The girls were awesome.
- 38:56Speaker 1: But you can't come back with poor though. You can't
- 39:02Speaker 1: if you make a stupid statement to me. Why you
- 39:04Speaker 1: got a problem when I make a stupid statement back
- 39:06Speaker 1: to you. All Right, we gotta get out of here. Uh,
- 39:10Speaker 1: congratulations to the Super Bowl Kansas City Chiefs. They are
- 39:14Speaker 1: the champs. We'll be back with UH. Once you call
- 39:18Speaker 1: it stupid, that certifies it. You're listening to all right, Steve,
- 39:25Speaker 1: So you said you ran into Kevin Hart. You guys
- 39:27Speaker 1: had a long heart to heart talk. And who else
- 39:30Speaker 1: did you see at the game? Ran up into the
- 39:33Speaker 1: legend secrecy entertain them. Oh yeah, Well, my son said, Dad,
- 39:45Speaker 1: pull yourself together. When you turn around, you're gonna trip.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I turned around, he said, Daddy, you tripping. I was
- 39:56Speaker 1: holly all over a little VIP tailgate man me and
- 40:02Speaker 1: seeing sat there that barn talked for the longest. Man.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I had a good time with that boy, man, said
- 40:08Speaker 1: the entertainer. Then at the beginning of the game, right,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I'm looking out there and I didn't even know Yolanda
- 40:17Speaker 1: Adams was performing. Oh yeah, so she sang America. So
- 40:26Speaker 1: I'm sitting up in the booth. About probably thirty minutes,
- 40:34Speaker 1: I feel a tap on the shoulder. It's Yolanda Adams.
- 40:39Speaker 1: She came up in the suite. Somebody told me you
- 40:43Speaker 1: was in here a little big brother, because you know
- 40:47Speaker 1: Yo Yo was my little sister. I'm her big brother.
- 40:50Speaker 1: She said, it told me up a big brother. I
- 40:53Speaker 1: had just text her when I saw her singing. I said,
- 40:58Speaker 1: let me see if I can read this text that
- 41:01Speaker 1: I make it. Read it on that air see yes here.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, So I got my little bogi. I got
- 41:17Speaker 1: my little bogi that I made where I got my
- 41:20Speaker 1: hand up like thank you Jesus, I made that emoji.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I said, I'm at the super Bowl. You ripped it,
- 41:26Speaker 1: little sister. She came up in the booth. I said,
- 41:29Speaker 1: oh man. We hugged each other. She talking to Margie.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I said, Yo, did you get my text? She said no.
- 41:37Speaker 1: She opened it up. She said, oh my god, you
- 41:40Speaker 1: really didn't know. I said no, I'm just sitting here
- 41:42Speaker 1: and I saw you singing and you ripped it. So
- 41:45Speaker 1: she came up in the booth. That was a very
- 41:47Speaker 1: very pleasant surprise. And then the girl that sang the
- 41:52Speaker 1: Stars Bad she came up in the look at you dog.
- 41:59Speaker 1: It was like so cool. And then I was in
- 42:01Speaker 1: there with some country western singer, no idea who he was? Okay,
- 42:08Speaker 1: cool dude, you wanted to he proudly was the bomb.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Did you see did you see? No? I just saw
- 42:15Speaker 1: him on the jumble Trump. She was flies, Oh yeah
- 42:22Speaker 1: with that green suit him. Yeah. Margie was flying to me.
- 42:29Speaker 1: You know, Oh she's beautiful. Well when is she not?
- 42:33Speaker 1: Is the question? At the NFL Honors. Boy, she was
- 42:37Speaker 1: laughing so hard. I had Roger Goodale laughing so damn hard.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I said. Yeah. He came up to me at the
- 42:43Speaker 1: VP Telgate. He said, Steve Harvey, you're back next year,
- 42:48Speaker 1: buddy close. I said, well, you know, not so fast, Roger.
- 42:58Speaker 1: It's gonna cost you. You think we I was out
- 43:01Speaker 1: there negotiating racial diversity. Wait till next year. One black head,
- 43:12Speaker 1: because we're gonna get you two white cornerback. Hey, Julia,
- 43:18Speaker 1: then the next one to hold him? I said, if
- 43:22Speaker 1: you give us one black kicker and a holder, I
- 43:30Speaker 1: need I need to set because I've never seen that
- 43:34Speaker 1: in all my years of football in life, and a
- 43:38Speaker 1: black holder. We're gonna get y'all two white punt returners.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, would you like to see that? Boy? Seriously? Man,
- 43:57Speaker 1: these football players was laughing so hard. I actually thought
- 44:02Speaker 1: I was I was I thought I was back Oh

- 46:42Speaker 1: to claim my wife? When did you ask for permission
- 46:47Speaker 1: my wife? Hap me with that? Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 46:51Speaker 1: let's do this here, grud. I ain't say I did that.
- 46:53Speaker 1: You saying that. I'm saying, I just want to claim

- 47:10Speaker 1: saying is we already in it, in it? What you mean?
- 47:14Speaker 1: We ain't gotta blank or any and see any Maybe
- 47:16Speaker 1: you must be outside joke here, man. All I'm saying is,
- 47:21Speaker 1: do you have a problem with me claiming melody? You mother? Right?
- 47:24Speaker 1: I do? Bro? I got a mother problem having this
- 47:27Speaker 1: whole mother conversation? When how first of all, how did
- 47:30Speaker 1: you get my information? How do you get my number? Bush?
- 47:33Speaker 1: The ass round for your numb I ain't want to
- 47:35Speaker 1: call you to me a week to call you. You
- 47:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, I'm just trying to dude, I
- 47:39Speaker 1: just spent twenty grand? Oh do you understand what I'm saying?
- 47:42Speaker 1: When did you spend twenty grand? That's just I want
- 47:45Speaker 1: to know. I ain't spent twenty grand on this mother,
- 47:47Speaker 1: and I'm married to he, so what what the are
- 47:50Speaker 1: you doing that you spent twenty thousand dollars on my wife?
- 47:53Speaker 1: And then you want to claim next? Have me understand next? Hey, man,
- 47:59Speaker 1: I ain't trying to go and to all my receipts
- 48:01Speaker 1: on everything I did for Melanie. I'm not trying to
- 48:03Speaker 1: do that. All I'm trying to do is is just
- 48:06Speaker 1: I just want to. I want to. I want to
- 48:09Speaker 1: know if you. I don't want us both claiming, because
- 48:11Speaker 1: that's how you get in trouble. You already in mother trouble.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Trouble is the last mother time you ought to be
- 48:18Speaker 1: worried about? And you calling my mother phone telling me
- 48:22Speaker 1: about some that you got going home with my old lady,
- 48:24Speaker 1: and then you're telling me can I have your permission? You? Okay?
- 48:30Speaker 1: So we gotta get some kind of resolution to this.
- 48:34Speaker 1: A good resolution is a good ass was what's you
- 48:37Speaker 1: mean a resolution that that's the only mother resolution we're
- 48:40Speaker 1: gonna get Bro, ain't no other resolution. Ain't no other
- 48:44Speaker 1: resolutions when when we ain't yourself to talk about, we
- 48:47Speaker 1: ain't got a mother trying to talk about. That's the
- 48:50Speaker 1: resolution I got back. I'll tell you what, Bro, I'm
- 48:53Speaker 1: texting Meal right now. I've been texting her since we've
- 48:55Speaker 1: been on this mother phone. Okay, what did you texting her? Father?
- 48:59Speaker 1: Don't what you mean when am I texting her? Foot?
- 49:02Speaker 1: She is a subject matter. So that's why the I'm
- 49:04Speaker 1: testing her. But you better pray to God. This is
- 49:07Speaker 1: some book. I hope to God. You y'all got y'all
- 49:10Speaker 1: people up with me like this body. This ain't gonna
- 49:14Speaker 1: go do it, Bro at all at all? Okay, So
- 49:21Speaker 1: I guess I can't claim them at this point. Hell mother, now,
- 49:26Speaker 1: so what you want to do, though, Bro, I'm already
- 49:29Speaker 1: to tell you what because I'm gonna do and I'm
- 49:31Speaker 1: waiting on meals with fun. So on this mother? See
- 49:34Speaker 1: that glass she slowed in the mother She can't type fail.
- 49:37Speaker 1: But somebody gonna get me some mount to day. Okay,
- 49:42Speaker 1: the matter? Look at Brian, I don't know who this
- 49:44Speaker 1: is on the other than the end of this room.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I hope to God some somebout of the X files
- 49:50Speaker 1: or something that I can't even fathom. You better pray
- 49:54Speaker 1: to God. Y'all playing with me? This is some boot Okay, okay,
- 49:59Speaker 1: So can I gonna tell you this your dog, and
- 50:03Speaker 1: then I'm gonna get out your way, man, because I
- 50:05Speaker 1: know how it's gonna go after this. Can I just
- 50:07Speaker 1: gonna tell you something else. I don't know what the
- 50:10Speaker 1: else you can tell me, bro. The only thing I
- 50:13Speaker 1: can tell you, the only thing I can tell you, Kendrick,
- 50:16Speaker 1: is that this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey
- 50:19Speaker 1: more than show. Your wife, Melanie got me to pray.
- 50:22Speaker 1: The phone call you dog well, y'all from ratting mother.

- 52:45Speaker 1: me to listen to Steve. We'll get into it right
- 52:48Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time Now
- 52:53Speaker 1: for my Strawberry Letter for today and listen. If you

- 53:00Speaker 1: please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve Harvey FM and
- 53:02Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter
- 53:07Speaker 1: live on the air, just like we're gonna read this
- 53:09Speaker 1: one right here, right now today. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 53:13Speaker 1: it's time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend
- 53:15Speaker 1: Shirley straw Very thank you. Care subject my man told
- 53:19Speaker 1: me to listen to Steve. To Stephen, Shirley, I have
- 53:23Speaker 1: an issue with my man and he told me to
- 53:26Speaker 1: listen to Steve, so I'm writing for advice. The issue
- 53:30Speaker 1: with my guy is that he's very self centered and
- 53:33Speaker 1: loves himself to death. He is looking at his phone
- 53:36Speaker 1: literally all day and keeps it with him at all times,
- 53:40Speaker 1: in the bathroom while he's cooking, and by his pillow
- 53:43Speaker 1: every night. I've asked him several times to let me
- 53:47Speaker 1: see his phone, and he told me that I need
- 53:49Speaker 1: to listen to Steve Harvey, who says that a woman
- 53:52Speaker 1: should never touch her man's phone. What if the man
- 53:58Speaker 1: Steves ever, says Tommy, But he never Steve yet. If
- 54:04Speaker 1: a man doesn't have anything to hide, then why not.
- 54:07Speaker 1: He goes back and forth on his phone, sending messages
- 54:10Speaker 1: to women and some guys day and night. He laughs
- 54:14Speaker 1: out loud when he's really engaged with someone, and I'm
- 54:17Speaker 1: sick of it. I think he needs the constant feedback
- 54:20Speaker 1: from women on social media, and I see the types
- 54:23Speaker 1: of comments they put on his page. He doesn't give
- 54:26Speaker 1: me compliments unless I ask him if he likes what
- 54:29Speaker 1: I'm wearing. So it's getting to the point where I
- 54:32Speaker 1: want to see what's going on on his phone. I
- 54:35Speaker 1: have nagged him about it occasionally, and I've asked him
- 54:38Speaker 1: to delete both his Facebook and Instagram accounts for a
- 54:42Speaker 1: month so he could focus on me and our relationship.
- 54:46Speaker 1: He told me that would never happen. I have to
- 54:49Speaker 1: admit that I go through his phone whenever I get
- 54:52Speaker 1: whenever I can get my hands on it. And he
- 54:54Speaker 1: loves to compliment women and ask them how their day was.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I'm like, WTF now, the jealousy is eating at me.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I know snooping is wrong, but surely what should I do?
- 55:07Speaker 1: Is this just an innocent way for him to entertain
- 55:10Speaker 1: himself or should I be worried? Please help? Okay, please
- 55:14Speaker 1: don't fall into the the typical category of ignoring the
- 55:19Speaker 1: red flags. The red flags are all in this letter.
- 55:22Speaker 1: They're all. They're everywhere in this letter. You know you
- 55:26Speaker 1: asked him to delete his Facebook and his Instagram accounts
- 55:30Speaker 1: for a month so he can focus on you and
- 55:32Speaker 1: your relationship. He told you that that would never happen.
- 55:35Speaker 1: He told you that would never happen. Focusing on you
- 55:39Speaker 1: and your relationship. What else do you need? He doesn't
- 55:43Speaker 1: give you any attention. He has his phone everywhere. He's
- 55:46Speaker 1: talking to other women. You see it. He doesn't give
- 55:49Speaker 1: you compliments, but he loves complimenting other women. This man
- 55:53Speaker 1: is not for you, Okay, He's not for you. This
- 55:56Speaker 1: is not just an innocent way for him to entertain himself.
- 56:00Speaker 1: And should you be worried, Well, yeah, if you stay
- 56:04Speaker 1: in this relationship, yeah, because it's only probably gonna get worse.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I think it's only gonna get worse. You don't have
- 56:10Speaker 1: to worry if you're not in this relationship and allowing
- 56:13Speaker 1: this man to do this to you. Okay, you say
- 56:16Speaker 1: he's self centered and loves himself to death, Well why
- 56:19Speaker 1: don't you start loving yourself and not allow him to
- 56:24Speaker 1: treat you like this? Okay, this is crazy. I mean,
- 56:28Speaker 1: if he's not the least he could do is give
- 56:30Speaker 1: you a compliment without you having to ask for it.
- 56:33Speaker 1: But he already told you, like I said, that this
- 56:36Speaker 1: is never going to happen, him focusing on you and
- 56:38Speaker 1: not the relationship. So the best thing you could do
- 56:41Speaker 1: is listen to what he's saying. He said it, and
- 56:44Speaker 1: and move on with your life. Okay, this guy, he's
- 56:49Speaker 1: not the one. You know, he's not the one. And
- 56:51Speaker 1: Steve never said that Tommy did back in the day. Steve,
- 56:55Speaker 1: Yeah about true statement, Steve ain't told now. Steve Harvey
- 56:59Speaker 1: Morning Show said that woman should not Steve to say
- 57:04Speaker 1: that because my wife has my phone all the time. Now,
- 57:09Speaker 1: let's let's really get to what's wrong him. I have
- 57:13Speaker 1: an issue with my man and he told me listening
- 57:16Speaker 1: to Steve. So here's you come now here. The letter
- 57:19Speaker 1: starts with something that I don't understand. The issue with
- 57:23Speaker 1: my guy is that he is very self centered and
- 57:26Speaker 1: loves himself to death. And you say right after that,
- 57:31Speaker 1: because he's looking at his phone literally all day and
- 57:35Speaker 1: he keeps it with him in all times. Wait a minute,
- 57:38Speaker 1: what what does that have to do with self centered
- 57:41Speaker 1: and loves himself to death? That's what you just described
- 57:46Speaker 1: is is a conceited person. Now, if he's self centered
- 57:52Speaker 1: and he loves himself to death, does that leave room
- 57:55Speaker 1: for you? And Charley's absolutely right, he told you it don't.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Now he's looking at his phone literally all day, and
- 58:04Speaker 1: he keeps you with him at all times. In the bathroom,
- 58:07Speaker 1: why he's cooking, and by his pillow every night, by
- 58:12Speaker 1: the pillar that's in the bed. Your pill ain't on
- 58:15Speaker 1: the nice day, by his pillow at night. I've asked
- 58:20Speaker 1: him several times to let me see his phone, and
- 58:22Speaker 1: he told me, I need to listen to Steve Harvey,
- 58:25Speaker 1: who said that a woman should never touch a man's phone.
- 58:28Speaker 1: If the man don't have anything to hide, then why not? Now, lady,
- 58:34Speaker 1: you just this, then this is what you're telling me
- 58:36Speaker 1: and Shirley. He stay on his phone, says message to
- 58:41Speaker 1: women and some guys day at night, lasts out loud.
- 58:46Speaker 1: He's really engaged when he's engaged with someone, and I'm
- 58:48Speaker 1: sick of it. So you need to see his phone for? What?
- 58:53Speaker 1: You know? What's on the phone? What do you need?
- 58:57Speaker 1: You need proof to validate what you feel? You already
- 59:04Speaker 1: know what's going on. So what do you need to
- 59:08Speaker 1: see the phone for so you can validate it or
- 59:12Speaker 1: or or so you can go, Oh, I was wrong
- 59:15Speaker 1: about that, because you're probably not. I got more for
- 59:19Speaker 1: you later if you want it. What you know? Wow?
- 59:24Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hang on to those thoughts. We know
- 59:27Speaker 1: you have more coming up. Part two of of Steve's
- 59:31Speaker 1: response at twenty three minutes after the hour, the subject
- 59:35Speaker 1: of today's Strawberry Letter, my man told me to listen
- 59:39Speaker 1: to Steve. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:44Speaker 1: You're listening to all right, Steve. Come on, let's recap
- 59:48Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters. Subject my man told me to listen
- 59:52Speaker 1: to Steve. First of all you, man, I didn't tell
- 59:56Speaker 1: nobody this. Tommy said this on the STA. I ain't said,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I ain't said, here we go. Lady. You got this
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: man who's you say, self center, loves himself to death.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: He's conceited, it's what you describe. But he has his
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: phone with him all the time, in the bathroom, when
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: he's cooking, he's doing yard work, when he's driving, when
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: he's laying down at night, this by his pillow. And then, uh,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you said that he's told you that. I said you
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: shouldn't touch your phone. Then you said, if you ain't
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: got nothing to hide, dear, why now? Now, here's what
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: he does on his phone. He goes back and forth
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: in the messages to women guys day and night. Laugh.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I lie when he get engaged with somebody, and I'm
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: sick of you know what's on the phone. So what
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: do you need to see it for? I think he needs,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you said, I think he needs the constant feedback from
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: women on social media. And I see the types of
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: comments that they put on his page. What you see
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the stuff that's on his ig and you see the
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: stuff that's on his Facebook. Now that's where you're getting
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: depart from that. He's self centered and he loves himself
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: to death. The fact that he won't let you see
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the phone is because he has something to hide from
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you on the phone. You let me tell you what.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, Laby, just so you can
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: be clear about this. What you're seeing the comments on
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: social media on his Facebook page and his IG page,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: that's what you see publicly. The rest of the stuff
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: is on the phone. I'm just telling you the truth.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: That's why you want the phone. Because you think you
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: see the comments on social media. You are to see
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: the comments on that damn phone. That's why he can't
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: give you that phone. He doesn't give me compliments unless
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I asking me if he likes what I'm wearing. So
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: it's getting to the point where I want to see
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: what's going on on his phone. You already know now
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: this lady said I didn't got to the point she
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: nagging him about it. Now here's what she did to
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: see where she really still. She told this man to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: delete his Facebook and his I G accounts for a
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: month so he could focus on me in our relationship.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: This is where Shirley nailed it. He told you that
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: would never happen. Not fitting the focus on this damn relationship.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: What but I'm not fitting the focus on you on
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: this damn relationship. I got all this action going on
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: on ig and faithbook. We're laughing and talking in front
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: of your fai, laughing out live girl. You see the comments?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Who girl, Scott, I'm not fine girl, You're gonna tell
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: me I'm fine, fine though, I can't believe you think
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I'm pretty. So now he told you would never happen.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Then you said, I admit that I go through his
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: phone whenever I can get my hands on it, and
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: he loves to compliment women and ask him how that
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: day was. I'm like, WTL, Now the jealousy is eating
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: at me. I know snooping is wrong, but surely what
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: should I do? Is this an innocent way for him
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: to entertain himself? Or should I be worried? Where do
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you think this entertainment is gonna lead to? Let me
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: tell you something about men. We don't do anything for nothing,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: nothing nothing. If you play with five, you're gonna get burned.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: You can't fight temptation off if you keep inviting temptation
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: in and the large Prayer says, and lead us not
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: into temptation. Well, he goes into the temptemation. He O,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I GM Facebook. He trying to stay clear, He walking it.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: You cannot be temptation all the time. Everybody succumbs to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: some form of temptation. It doesn't have to be cheating
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: in a relationship. It could be going off to diet.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: It could be it could be saying something, could be
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: spending money. It could be gossiping. It could be just
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: setting your dreams down for a while to do other things.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: It's a lot of ways that you can yield to temptation.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: But this guy's form of temptation is all women. You
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: can't keep getting in women's faces and end up not
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: doing nothing. It does not work that way. I'm sorry,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: it doesn't work that way. No man can beat that
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: type of temptation. If you're playing in that circle, you
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: have got to take your ass home. If you keep
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: going to the strip club, you're gonna end up with
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: one of them strippers. Period. How the kids? What okay?
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: All right? Lady, Why don't you get into relationship with
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: somebody to care about you. Yeah, and this is not
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: your husband, y'all ain't got no kids, lady, Get out
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: of that, all right, poster comments on today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and please

- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Steves if you if you heard her, Yeah, he ran
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: into his mom and his mom said she was a
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: big fan, and so with his son. Come to find
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: out it was Mahome's mom. So there you go. You
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: never know, Steve, you never know. The game was good.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: J Loo and Shakira killed halftime in my opinion. But
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: what was your favorite commercial though? What was your favorite commercial? Um?
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Mine was I'll just I'll start it off. Was the kid,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: the black kid with the blonde mohawk I love. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: that was really good. He ran all through the neighborhood
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: everywhere and then finally ended up on the field with
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: the football. Really good commercial with the other kids. That
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: was the other kid. Yeah, really nice one. And that
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: was the first one I saw. I said, this will
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: be my mis was good. You can't touch this eat Cheetos,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: the Cheetahs, the Cheetos popcorn. Yeah, that was good. And
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you can't touch this stuff you could you had that stuff? Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: that was funny. And Tommy didn't like this one, but
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I love the rece's take five cliche. Were you under
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: the rock? We literally under You were at the game,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: so you didn't see the commercials, right, Steve, you were
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you know, they had a monitor, but you could see it,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: but you couldn't hear it, you know, Okay, I didn't
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: really I didn't really get it. I can't comment on them.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Here did yosh Anthony Anderson and his mom Miss Doris
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: that I was cute? Yeah, that was cute. And pepsi
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: and yeah commercial, Yeah I saw that. I saw that.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: That was cute. Yeah yeah that was Ellen de Generes.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I saw Ellen and John Legend and Chrissy Tegan. Yeah, yes,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: that was cute. That was that was cute. Uh and
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the Deritos were little nas yes, oh yeah, yeah, Elliott,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: that was good. All right, Uh, we'll be back with
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: who's the most annoying person at your super Bowl party?
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Will do that right after this. You're listening. All right,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: So the question is who was the most annoying person
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: at your super Bowl party yesterday? A lot of people,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: of course, went to the super Bowl, went to super
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Bowl parties all over everywhere. Uh you know, we talked
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: last week about how many chicken wings would be consumed
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: and all of that. So I contributed to that. You
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: had your I forgot to take mine out of the freezer,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: but don't tell anyone. Yeah I really did. Um. But
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: you had your friends over, you went to someone's house,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: your family. So what happened? Who was the most annoying person?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I threw a super Bowl party. That
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: was just old dude in the cigar lounge. Man, he
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: stayed in front of the TV for what was he explain?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: He just walked up and stood in front of the
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: TV like we're not trying to watch the game. He
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: just standing like his ass is the only one in him.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I had to say old school so many times yesterday
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: old school. Gee, he biting chicken in front of the TV.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: He dran ain't getting he's smoking in front of the TV. Hey, man,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: what did he not know? Anyone? I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: we had to tell me every time, he said, he
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: can't see. You don't need to be here because they
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: out of here can see on my nose. I left
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: the part the game in the truck. You can't see
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: nothing for him. And it was your party. Love, Let's
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: forget it. I'm out. Does your party though, yes, man,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: love your party. I left. It was a four quarter,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: it was getting games, getting good. He kept walking in
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: front of if I saw that damn fealla one more time.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Time what feather? That feather comes in front time? Don't
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I can't. I couldn't take it eating chickens fish he got.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: He just, I mean just in front of you. Haven't
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: seeing people eat cheecken in front of the TV at home? Yeah,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: he did understand that biting party. Put the wing down
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: by his side like he ain't got nobody behind. Man,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: if you don't see your own lass down. He had
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: a good time. Sounds like, Junior, you didn't, but he
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: certainly did. He go all right. Jake who was the
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: most annoying person. Annoying person at the super Bowl party
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: was the guy who don't believe in plates at all.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: He so he uses his hand, uses one hand as
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: a plate and the other hand as a fork, and
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: he's constantly picking stuff up with one hand, putting it
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: in his other nash dass hand all day. I mean
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: he went from the wings to the chips, to the ribs.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I mean he touched. He touched every day. It's like
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: he don't believe in plates. I don't dirty plate. We
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: kept saying, get a plate. I'm good. Um, you know
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I'm good. I know you get well. No, old chel,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: he didn't believe in napkins either. You know he took
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: that sleeve. He took that sleeve. No, not no, he
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: didn't clean that sauce with all it. Yeah, Nash, just
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: straight nasty. I had a double dipper at mind. You know,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I think all of us know once you get a
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: double dipper, were done with it. I had a double
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: dipper at my party. This brother was he would take
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I made my famous nachos. Everybody likes my nicho. He
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: would take it and then the chip would break, Yeah,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: and then he would he would he would take the nacho,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: the one that broke, dake that and then going to
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: put that in his mouth, and then the one that broke,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the part that broke, he gonna dip that and then
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: to see that's nasty and then take that squirrel it around. Wow,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: he's swapping it, stopping it, and then gonna put that
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: in him. I'm like, yo, dog, you can't. You can't
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: dumb a dip, Yo dog. Deal chip, your chip can
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: never double a deal. Oh my goodness. All right, guys,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Well coming up, we'll have more of trending stories and
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: stuff on the Steve Harvey Morning Show on the Super
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Bowl Monday. We'll be back in twenty minutes after the
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: hour right after this you're listening to show. So Groundhog
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Day was yesterday, and you know groundhog punk Satani Phil
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: did not see his shadow and predicts an early spring.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: This makes me very happy because you know very we
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: do this every year. Why do we think that the
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: groundhog really predicts all this? Why why do we do this? Well,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: it's tradition, it's ground as adults were not into its groundhog. Well, Tommy,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: it's the same way we sit around on a day
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: to day basis hoping one day you're gonna get it.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: He's gonna be smart. But we're talking about a groundhog.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: He didn't see his shadows, didn't see his shadow. So
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: now what where we at? What what is it? Did
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: you see, we don't question the East bunny. Why are
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: we giving the groundhog? Damn time? I mean light ground
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: It was one of my favorite commies, falling apart the
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: whole day, the whole morning. I'm not I'm not, I
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: am not with this groundhog and his shadow, and I'm
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: not with it dog. But Tommy, did you hear I
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: heard that? Peta. They're they're a little upset about the
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: use of the groundhog and they want to do away
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: with Groundhog Day altogether. So you may want to get
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: on board with them because they don't like it either.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: The groundhog is really cool because he has one heck
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: of a pampered life. Yes, we got to get out
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: of here for show and some trains coming out at
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour right after this. You're listening,

- 1:17:16Speaker 1: cutting up after the food and I'm proud and shamed
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: to say it. At the same time, my wife was

- 1:18:09Speaker 1: twenty five, or just go to Steve Harvey saying thissoul
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: dot com. Let's get to eat all right, Steve, thank you.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Coming up, it'll be our last break of the day
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and Steve Harvey break of the day. That's right, Jay
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: and Steve will have some closing remarks coming up at
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: listening to Steve Morning Show. Can we are Steve our
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: last break of the day on the last break of
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: the day. That's right on the Super Bowl Monday, Steve,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: you had a good time. You told us all morning
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: about uh the fun you had at the Super Bowl,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: and now it's time for your closing remarks. Well, you know, um,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I think sports. I think a lot of people talk
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: about sports for all of the things that it teaches people.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I've played sports, not at a high level, but I've
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: played sports and participated in sports and things of that nature,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: but never professionally. But I can tell you that there
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: are some incredible lessons learned in sports. And when you
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: have a child that wants to be involved in sports,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: as active in sports, they learn some things, you know.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: They learn how to handle winning, They learn how to
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: work with other people, They learn how to handle defeat.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: They learn what it is to have to discipline yourself
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: to go to practice. They learn rapidly how hard work
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: leads to results. They learn very early a lot about
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: goals setting achieving them. They learned a lot about stituitiveness.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Sports is an incredible teacher for young people. Now that's
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: not to say that you have to play sport to
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: learn these lessons, because oh my god, you don't. Because
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: nothing is a teacher like life itself. Life is a
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: wonderful teacher. Failure is a wonderful teacher. There are so
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: many things, man, that can be learned from sports and
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: in life in general. But I encourage people to stay
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: with it whatever you're doing. You know, you watch people
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: play sports. If Kansas City had given up in the
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: fourth quarter, that they would have said, oh well, we down,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: must not be God's will. Looks like we're not gonna
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: win it. They would have never stuck in the came
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: away with a victory. You know, if the forty nine
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: has hadn't done the theme things that they did all
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: year long, they wouldn't have got to the game. At
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: the end. The one thing that failure has taught me
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: is number one. Failure has taught me how to handle pain,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: how to handle disappointment. And that's a very valuable lesson
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: to learn. See, if you never have failures, if you
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: never have pain, if you never experience them, you don't
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: know how to cope with them. Because that's a part
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: of life, and they're constantly gonna be coming. So you
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: have to learn to make the necessary adjustments in life.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Life is a series of tests over and over and
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: over and over. Now you may not see the exact
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: same test, but I promise you you'll see something similar,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: or even if the tests ain't the same, it'll have
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: some of the similar attributes to it. So you've got
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: to learn from your mistakes, because your mistakes tell you
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: how to cope. Coping is a great skill, or some
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: people just have great coping skills. I'm really grateful to
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: God that he gave me a tremendous set of coping skills. Now,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: develop those coping skills by a lot of failure. And
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: so when you're failing out there, folks, it's sharpening you,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: it's getting you ready for the next chapter in your life,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: the next the next challenge, the next hurdle, the next
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: set of circumstances, and soon you will discover that you'll
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: get a little bit better and a little bit better
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: at handling different things because you have the experience to
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: handle them. Sports is a great teacher, but nothing is
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: better teacher than life itself. And if you learn the
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: lessons from life. Somebody told me one time the thing
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: about pain, Pain always leads a gift. You never experience
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: pain without it leaving you a gift. And that's exactly
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: how you have to look at pain. When you experience
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: a loss, when you're grieving, when you're hurting, when you've
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: been disappointed by somebody, when you've been let go by somebody,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: when you've been walked away from by somebody, when a
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: job comes and releases you, all of these things create
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: a pain in you. But every piece of pain leaves
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you a gift. It leaves you a coping skill, It
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: leaves you a set of strength that you didn't have before,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: because when you get beyond the pain and as you
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: deal with the pain, it makes you stronger. Because you've
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: heard all saying, if it don't kill you to make
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: you stronger. All of us have become stronger because we
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: didn't let something beat us or defeat us. And no
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: matter how rough it was, we hung in there. Well,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: guess what the gift that was left behind the pain
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: was you gain the strength. The other gift that's less
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: be left with the pain is you gain an experience
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: and understanding, and all of that develops you into a
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: better person as the years go on. So in twenty twenty,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: embrace the pain, embrace it, thank God for it, deal
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: with it, understand what it is, and be ready to
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: take the gift that pain leaves and move forward. That's
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: the way we're gonna handle it in twenty twenty. That's
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: what we're gonna be in twenty twenty better for it. Yeah,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: let your church say, man, man man. And again of
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: my closing remarks, Hey, listen y'all on a serious no,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: can't tell you something. Yeah, have a great weekend. Really
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: have for all the work today, have for you. I
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: have because I show did for all. Steve Harvey contests
