Former MMA fighter Conor McGregor has announced he is withdrawing from the Presidential Election race.Mr McGregor was among a number of prospective candidates who were due to address county councils, including Dublin City Council today seek a nomination.Eleven councils are due to hold special meetings today to consider nominating a candidate.Deputy Political Editor at the Irish Examiner, Paul Hosford, joined us on The Agenda this morning to tell us more about this.
