- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome. It's verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator, you had one
- 0:03Speaker 1: heck of a week in New York. I'm not sure
- 0:05Speaker 1: that they have come down from the high of seeing
- 0:08Speaker 1: you there at the Yankees game. So let's just start
- 0:11Speaker 1: with that before we even get to the view and
- 0:14Speaker 1: your book. You went to the game and the world
- 0:18Speaker 1: freaked out. I had the most ridiculous fund over the
- 0:23Speaker 1: last couple of days. So it starts off. I go
- 0:27Speaker 1: to Game four of the Alcs Astro's Yankees. I go
- 0:33Speaker 1: with a great friend of mine. We get seats right
- 0:36Speaker 1: behind home plate, directly behind home plate. Now, I'm a
- 0:42Speaker 1: diehard Astro's guy. I grew up as a kid. My
- 0:45Speaker 1: parents we had we had season tickets to the Astros
- 0:47Speaker 1: when I was a kid at the old stadium at
- 0:50Speaker 1: the at the astrodame a long time ago. So I'm
- 0:56Speaker 1: behind home plate and listen if you're going, of course
- 1:00Speaker 1: you dress and you and I went to game two
- 1:03Speaker 1: of the Alcs together. Oh yeah, thank you, by the
- 1:05Speaker 1: way for that to invite that was a black That
- 1:08Speaker 1: was awesome. We won that, but then again, we won
- 1:10Speaker 1: game one, we won Game two, we won Game three.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So game four is the frigging elimination game. So I
- 1:15Speaker 1: flew to New York. I'm sitting behind home played. Of
- 1:18Speaker 1: course I'm wearing bright orange my Astros shirt. Like you
- 1:23Speaker 1: either go down and you like root for the home
- 1:26Speaker 1: team and screw them. And so that's where I was.
- 1:29Speaker 1: And listen, I gotta admit, going in, We're like, okay,
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yankee Stadium. I've never been to Yankee Stadium. You never have,
- 1:36Speaker 1: no never, And for anyone that's a baseball truiss like
- 1:40Speaker 1: Yankee Stadium and Yankee Stadium into discussion. Yeah, it's the
- 1:43Speaker 1: bucket list. And the Yankees are a dangerous team. I'll confess.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Actually going in, I was not super optimistic. I thought
- 1:49Speaker 1: we were going to beat the Yankees, but I thought
- 1:50Speaker 1: they're too good a team for us to sweep. I
- 1:52Speaker 1: thought we'd beat them in five or six. I thought
- 1:55Speaker 1: that they'll pull out game four, which is okay. But
- 1:59Speaker 1: went in and it was. It was awesome. So everybody
- 2:06Speaker 1: in the news acted like that you walked in and
- 2:09Speaker 1: you're Satan right reincarnated. You show up. That's not actually true,
- 2:15Speaker 1: Like it is the very definition of fake news. So
- 2:19Speaker 1: I didn't know what the reaction is. I have to
- 2:20Speaker 1: admit I sat down with my body and I'm like, okay,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm going to Yankee Stadium. I'm celebrating what hopefully is
- 2:27Speaker 1: a sweep. Yeah, they're gonna be pissed. And so I'm like,
- 2:30Speaker 1: all right, is some guy gonna like throw a beer
- 2:33Speaker 1: on me? As some guy gonna walk up and punch
- 2:35Speaker 1: me in the face, Like what's gonna happ prepare? Yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 1: Like I'm like, all right, I get it. But I
- 2:42Speaker 1: have to say I was blown away. I probably took
- 2:45Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty pictures with Yankees fans who came
- 2:50Speaker 1: up and like the degree to which like like you
- 2:53Speaker 1: have these big New Yorkers who were hugging me, and
- 2:56Speaker 1: like we took selfies the whole time. Now, what happened?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Sixth inning? I go to the men's room, I'm walking
- 3:03Speaker 1: out and there are three guys that flip the bird
- 3:05Speaker 1: at me, and I would say, in the entire course
- 3:08Speaker 1: of the game, nine innings, I probably had I don't
- 3:11Speaker 1: know thirty forty people suggest I do something that is
- 3:15Speaker 1: anatomically impossible, and that's all right, You're at a baseball game.
- 3:20Speaker 1: What are they gonna say? Yeah, exactly, yea, you know
- 3:22Speaker 1: they're gonna yell. And there was one jackass I don't
- 3:25Speaker 1: know even though who it was who put this little
- 3:27Speaker 1: TikTok video of him yelling and cursing at me about
- 3:31Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah, I'm a leftist, I hate America,
- 3:33Speaker 1: blah blah blah. I don't even know what he was saying.
- 3:36Speaker 1: He was like up further in the stand. Of course,
- 3:39Speaker 1: that's what the media ran with. Well, yeah, so if
- 3:42Speaker 1: it bleeds, it leads, and if it's flicking off you,
- 3:44Speaker 1: it leads, and it got front page. Which still, by
- 3:47Speaker 1: the way, I would have lost a bet on that
- 3:48Speaker 1: if you would have said, Ted Cruz going to the
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yankees game will get front page or the next day
- 3:53Speaker 1: of the newspapers in New York. I'm back. There's no
- 3:55Speaker 1: way it'll be the game. Nope, you're there, and I
- 3:58Speaker 1: gotta tell you. Look, I'm a hat me worried, I'm smiling,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm laughing, but every time the astro has got a
- 4:03Speaker 1: damn hit, I'm standing up, waving, cheering, I'm like surrounded
- 4:07Speaker 1: by Yankees. Okay, so in the seat behind me, there
- 4:12Speaker 1: is this gorgeous woman in a halter top that everybody saw.
- 4:19Speaker 1: It was trending on social media. So I mean it
- 4:22Speaker 1: was it was like the I was laughing because I
- 4:25Speaker 1: was watching the game at home. My phone's blowing up.
- 4:27Speaker 1: They're like, are you at the game? Are you at
- 4:28Speaker 1: the game? Like, no, I'm I'm a commoner. I'm back
- 4:30Speaker 1: at home. I'm watching this on TV. And then everybody's
- 4:33Speaker 1: tweeting me or texting me, going who is that sitting
- 4:36Speaker 1: behind him? Because it was like, if you're you had
- 4:39Speaker 1: to focus on the game and make sure no one
- 4:41Speaker 1: took a picture that they're like, oh, look Ted Cruz.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So I will say, my buddy Jeff leaning next to me.
- 4:46Speaker 1: He sort of leans over and tells me, Okay, she's
- 4:49Speaker 1: behind you. She's selling an NFT so she had some
- 4:51Speaker 1: sign and she's selling it and she has to use
- 4:54Speaker 1: the Monty Python phrase. She has great tracks of land.
- 4:58Speaker 1: So he tells me this. I'm like, okay, all we
- 5:01Speaker 1: need is one video of me turning around and my
- 5:04Speaker 1: eyes shifting down like they're twenty four frames in a second. Yep,
- 5:08Speaker 1: one twenty fourth of a second. I looked down and
- 5:11Speaker 1: that's the image they go with. Yeah, and I have
- 5:13Speaker 1: to admit the whole damn game. I'm like I'm looking
- 5:15Speaker 1: forward or if I turn around, my eyes are up.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Damn it, you are not. You're looking at the upper down.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But like it just so that that was and she
- 5:24Speaker 1: was actually very nice. We actually she and I took
- 5:26Speaker 1: a selfie. Were one of the many people it took
- 5:28Speaker 1: a selfie early on. It was before she was wearing
- 5:30Speaker 1: a jacket or something, because it was she she was
- 5:34Speaker 1: just before she was trying to sell start of the
- 5:35Speaker 1: fan behind me until she wasn't all right. Before we
- 5:39Speaker 1: get into that news, I want to tell you real

- 6:57Speaker 1: free activation. Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict. All right,
- 7:02Speaker 1: So that I saw a bunch of the way, do
- 7:03Speaker 1: you know who was sitting in front of me? Who?
- 7:05Speaker 1: I saw the guy at the end of the game.
- 7:07Speaker 1: He was messing with you a little bit on TV
- 7:09Speaker 1: in front of you and kind of y'all were laughing.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It was pretty funny. So the guy next to us
- 7:12Speaker 1: was a Yankees fan, and we were just giving each
- 7:14Speaker 1: other crap the whole time, and he but he was
- 7:16Speaker 1: he was not a jerk. And we bought each other
- 7:18Speaker 1: drinks and we were laughing and having fun. But it
- 7:20Speaker 1: was it was a good rivalry. It was a good time.
- 7:23Speaker 1: But in front of me and two seats over was
- 7:26Speaker 1: Lauren Michaels really from SNL? I would say, so people
- 7:29Speaker 1: that don't know Laurren Michaels the the god of SNL.
- 7:32Speaker 1: All right, So so he asked you, did he ask
- 7:33Speaker 1: you if you're gonna host? Like because you're yes, all right?
- 7:36Speaker 1: So I leaned over and introduced myself and I said, Lauren,
- 7:39Speaker 1: I gotta tell you I grew up watching SNL. Look
- 7:42Speaker 1: like and he said to me his responses, he said,
- 7:45Speaker 1: so did I like, yeah, but I was six Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 1: like Lauren's a lot older than I am. I'm like, dude,
- 7:51Speaker 1: I said, I probably watched five hundred snls in my life,
- 7:56Speaker 1: Like I literally I love good comedy and SNL is fantastic.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And I did say. I leaned in and said, I
- 8:04Speaker 1: gotta tell you you guys were funnier before you became
- 8:07Speaker 1: so political, like it was what did he say? He
- 8:13Speaker 1: just sort of frowned. He didn't engage. Later on, I
- 8:16Speaker 1: asked him a question. I said, all right, of all
- 8:19Speaker 1: the comedians you've ever had on the show, who was
- 8:23Speaker 1: the funniest who did you sit back and like say,
- 8:25Speaker 1: holy crap, that guy is a phenomenon and I don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: want to out him with his answer, because I think
- 8:31Speaker 1: that's probably not right. But I'll tell you what my
- 8:32Speaker 1: answer was. So I told him what I thought, and
- 8:35Speaker 1: I said, young Eddie Murphy when he was eighteen nineteen
- 8:39Speaker 1: years in Roga seventies, Eddie Murphy was I'd look, he's
- 8:43Speaker 1: he's such a talent, and I'm an old fan of
- 8:46Speaker 1: Delirious and Raw and the stand ups, which every sentence
- 8:49Speaker 1: of is politically incorrect. Anyone who knows those routines dexters say, Jack,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm not going to do any more of that, because
- 8:58Speaker 1: even in today's mild world, I'd probably be canceled for
- 9:01Speaker 1: acknowledging that. But young Eddie Murphy was one of the
- 9:06Speaker 1: greatest comedic talents of a modern day. So you're there
- 9:09Speaker 1: at the game. A lot of people don't realize you
- 9:10Speaker 1: were at the game, honestly, dumb luck because you were
- 9:14Speaker 1: on the view scheduled the next morning. You got to
- 9:18Speaker 1: fly up the night before. Jeff Suckers you into this
- 9:22Speaker 1: terrible deal of good seats sitting there on TV. Everyone
- 9:25Speaker 1: that's a liberal hating on you, Republicans are loving on you.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And I just played part of Whoopee there so by accident.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But you went on the View the next day, and
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm going to play that in a moment for people
- 9:37Speaker 1: that are listening. But you go up there and this
- 9:40Speaker 1: is just like the perk of the trip. It turns
- 9:43Speaker 1: into the story. And then the media comes after you.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And then you get to the View and basically on
- 9:49Speaker 1: Navarre immediately steps in and it's like, wow, we at
- 9:52Speaker 1: least clap when we introduced you today on this book
- 9:54Speaker 1: tour event, you know, at the View, and we're nicer
- 9:57Speaker 1: in our audience than they were to you last night,
- 10:00Speaker 1: which goes back to the fake news because you were
- 10:02Speaker 1: taking selfies with everybody. Yeah. No, it literally it's the
- 10:05Speaker 1: front page of the New York Daily News. It's the
- 10:08Speaker 1: like they the press hammered me. The Houston Chronicle back
- 10:11Speaker 1: home said, you know, bronx jeer, And it's true. A
- 10:14Speaker 1: few people flip me off. I will tell you when
- 10:16Speaker 1: you and I were at the Astro's game in Houston,
- 10:19Speaker 1: there were some Yankees fans there. Remember what I told them.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I said, listen, we're gonna be polite to you. We're
- 10:24Speaker 1: gonna be nice to you, We're gonna be kind to you,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and then we're gonna kick your ass. Yeah. But we'll
- 10:28Speaker 1: do it with a smile. And they actually laughed. And
- 10:30Speaker 1: that's I mean. I was at Game six when we
- 10:33Speaker 1: beat beat the Yankees the Alcs a couple of years ago,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and we do the same thing where we're nice to
- 10:37Speaker 1: the Yankees fans. But winning is better, all right. So
- 10:40Speaker 1: the always the view. That's why I went to New
- 10:44Speaker 1: York was to do the view and listen. It's not
- 10:47Speaker 1: a stretch to say the view is not one of
- 10:51Speaker 1: us doesn't agree with us. So we go to the view.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We know that the host, the ladies there are not
- 10:57Speaker 1: our friends. They don't agree with us. Yes, but but
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm going to go into the belly of the beast.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm going to go speak the truth. And by the way, look,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I've talked a lot of times about I think as conservatives,
- 11:08Speaker 1: we spend too much time preaching to the choir. We
- 11:10Speaker 1: spend too much time talking to the two point six
- 11:12Speaker 1: million people on Fox News. God loved the choir. They
- 11:15Speaker 1: need the love. But we got to talk to young people.
- 11:18Speaker 1: We got to talk to Hispantics, we got to talk
- 11:20Speaker 1: to African Americans. We need to talk to suburban moms.
- 11:22Speaker 1: There are millions of people every day who listen to
- 11:25Speaker 1: the View, who are just listening to left wing propaganda.
- 11:28Speaker 1: So I went on there to try to give them
- 11:30Speaker 1: a moment of truth because they're getting hammered by the
- 11:34Speaker 1: crazy policies from Washington, and then they're certainly not hearing
- 11:37Speaker 1: about it on the View, and so I went on,
- 11:39Speaker 1: They're expecting some fireworks, but as much fireworks as I
- 11:43Speaker 1: was expecting, I underestimated it. You and I had a
- 11:47Speaker 1: conversation before the view, let's pull back the curtain on
- 11:50Speaker 1: this about what to expect, and we had people that
- 11:53Speaker 1: gave us advice, a bit of debt with a view,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and everything that we said we thought would happen literally happened.
- 12:02Speaker 1: That the audience was clearly purposely stacked I think against
- 12:06Speaker 1: you well, but beyond that, so what happened. We get
- 12:10Speaker 1: just a couple of minutes into it and a couple
- 12:12Speaker 1: of audience members stand up and begins screaming, and I
- 12:17Speaker 1: think you can we have that audio. This is there's
- 12:20Speaker 1: fifteen seconds of screaming, by the way, for everybody before
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna play this, because otherwise you just and you're
- 12:25Speaker 1: trying to stay focused, You're trying to and your liv question.
- 12:28Speaker 1: We're on live TV. Yeah, and you did exactly what
- 12:30Speaker 1: you're supposed to do. You just keep going, powering through.
- 12:33Speaker 1: But I love how the view lost control of their
- 12:36Speaker 1: own show and their own audience to the point where
- 12:38Speaker 1: they had to reprimand their own audience. And this is
- 12:41Speaker 1: how it sounded funny in history we've ever taken in.
- 12:45Speaker 1: The problem is we spent nearly seven trillion dollars. And
- 12:49Speaker 1: that's what ladies, ladies, it steals us. Let us do
- 12:56Speaker 1: our job, Let us do our job. We hear what
- 12:59Speaker 1: you have to say, but you gotta go. So did
- 13:02Speaker 1: they kick them out because we didn't get to see this.
- 13:05Speaker 1: They didn't go to the audience obviously, so they kicked
- 13:07Speaker 1: them out. It was it was two climate protesters that
- 13:10Speaker 1: they weren't even protesting me. It was actually kind of funny.
- 13:12Speaker 1: They were protesting climate in general, and they were and
- 13:15Speaker 1: the quip which which I said at the time, which
- 13:17Speaker 1: they did air, I said, it's a good thing you
- 13:19Speaker 1: guys don't have a van go, you know, because now
- 13:21Speaker 1: they're just trashing art all over the world. You know,
- 13:23Speaker 1: these jackasses would throw a can of soup on it.
- 13:25Speaker 1: And so they were standing there screaming about client climate.
- 13:29Speaker 1: The thing that was interesting is the host were freaking
- 13:33Speaker 1: out and what they told me, they said, this has
- 13:37Speaker 1: never happened in the history of our show. We've never
- 13:40Speaker 1: had anyone do this, and I actually think it freaked
- 13:43Speaker 1: them out. So it took a while. They're standing there screaming,
- 13:46Speaker 1: we're doing the show. The show security was not on
- 13:51Speaker 1: the ball because they let them stand there and scream.
- 13:54Speaker 1: There was actually a second interruption later in the show
- 13:56Speaker 1: a couple of minutes las towards you. That was the
- 13:58Speaker 1: F bombs right, Well, so it was someone standing up.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It was some lady standing up who had this this
- 14:04Speaker 1: flag and it had a circle with an hour glass
- 14:08Speaker 1: sign in it, and I don't know, apparently it's some
- 14:10Speaker 1: leftist organization. It wasn't even anarchist. I don't know what
- 14:12Speaker 1: the damn thing means. But she just began screaming fufufu,
- 14:17Speaker 1: like at the top of her lungs, and so they
- 14:19Speaker 1: just bleeped it out and it went to break and
- 14:22Speaker 1: they just It was supposed to be initially about an
- 14:25Speaker 1: eight minute segment, and they ended up closing it at
- 14:27Speaker 1: about four because they're like, okay, we've got an audience
- 14:29Speaker 1: member screaming the F bomb on national television. This is
- 14:32Speaker 1: probably a problem. So when they who did they walk
- 14:35Speaker 1: out their own a quarter, they have to like get
- 14:36Speaker 1: security to literally like them and drag them out. They
- 14:39Speaker 1: didn't lift them and drag them out, but security escorted
- 14:43Speaker 1: them out, and in the commercial break, the host gave
- 14:46Speaker 1: a big lecture to the audience, don't do this. We
- 14:49Speaker 1: don't have Then they said, we don't have a mic
- 14:51Speaker 1: on the audience. We won't air what you're saying, So
- 14:53Speaker 1: don't do this, and nobody else did. I loved it
- 14:56Speaker 1: because I thought it was just so all encompassing of
- 15:00Speaker 1: the hatred and the bigotry towards the grand debate of
- 15:03Speaker 1: ideas and the view claims they're about the views of Americans, right,
- 15:07Speaker 1: the views of everybody, and that they're supposed to be
- 15:10Speaker 1: this place we have a grand debate. They're not anymore.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And even their audience members I think, proved that point well.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And look, it was striking that there were a couple
- 15:18Speaker 1: of times in particular that we really got into substance.
- 15:22Speaker 1: One time was talking about election denial and listen has
- 15:27Speaker 1: left us. They sort of talk the you know, so
- 15:29Speaker 1: they asked the question you know, will you admit right now,
- 15:32Speaker 1: Joe Biden was legitimately elected and his election was hunky,
- 15:35Speaker 1: dorry and fantastic, and will you salute and kiss Biden's darier? Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and I'm like, he is the president. And that was
- 15:45Speaker 1: aware of the best response that you could have had.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And I also put it out. I said, listen, you
- 15:50Speaker 1: guys repeatedly insist that Republicans take this pledge everything was legitimate.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And I said, you're totally hypocrites because Democrats come on
- 16:01Speaker 1: all the time on your damn show and attack the
- 16:04Speaker 1: legitimacy of Republicans being elected, and you not only don't
- 16:08Speaker 1: disagree with them, you agree with them and embrace them.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And I think you gotta know. I was gonna say,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you go back to the history here. There was a
- 16:14Speaker 1: part with Hillary Quinton, and you clearly were ready. You
- 16:18Speaker 1: did your homework, and you brought up that, Hey, it
- 16:22Speaker 1: was Hillary Quinton who went on the views and de legitimized.
- 16:27Speaker 1: And by the way, I don't know if you saw
- 16:28Speaker 1: the stake because you've been traveling, but Hillary Quinton actually
- 16:30Speaker 1: came out today already saying that the Republicans are going
- 16:33Speaker 1: to still the midterm elections. She is and came out
- 16:36Speaker 1: and said, get ready for it, because if they do
- 16:38Speaker 1: win the House and the Senate, it's illegitimate. No one's
- 16:42Speaker 1: freaking out, by the way and calling her out for
- 16:44Speaker 1: that either, like they're not doing it. I let her
- 16:47Speaker 1: up today on radio. But well that good. I'm glad.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Listen to Anna Navarro getting triggered when you started listing
- 16:54Speaker 1: all the Democrats denying election results. And then she tells
- 16:57Speaker 1: you and I love this because I know her. I
- 16:59Speaker 1: know her well. She's as she calls you by your
- 17:01Speaker 1: first name, Ted, right, that's her like power play, which
- 17:04Speaker 1: is classic and an Navarro would not exist if it
- 17:07Speaker 1: wasn't for yelling. She got hired as being an angry
- 17:11Speaker 1: woman on CNN, like that's what her whole stick was.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And then she tries to tell you like you should
- 17:16Speaker 1: be quiet when there's like how many people coming after
- 17:18Speaker 1: you at the same point, listen, Hellary Clinton didn't say whatever.
- 17:22Speaker 1: She didn't say. I'm saying to you. Listen, and she said,
- 17:25Speaker 1: we didn't say any here and you would find her.
- 17:29Speaker 1: She called Donald Johnson next morning and she competed the
- 17:32Speaker 1: election tall Sonny. She sat there while wild Donald or
- 17:41Speaker 1: games Trump is an illegitimate press that Hillary Clinton. Now
- 17:44Speaker 1: you pulled this. If people miss this, you pulled out
- 17:46Speaker 1: the exact quotes on a piece of paper. You were
- 17:48Speaker 1: ready for the headlines. I had copies of the headlines
- 17:51Speaker 1: of press stories. So I'm reading press stories and you
- 17:54Speaker 1: probably didn't see this from the view that that I did.
- 17:56Speaker 1: No pun intended, but watching all of their faces go
- 17:59Speaker 1: to oh blank moment because they realized they stepped in
- 18:03Speaker 1: it and they couldn't get out of it. So the
- 18:05Speaker 1: only option was for a Navard say, well, we need
- 18:08Speaker 1: to calm down at the table. Election is stolen from you,
- 18:11Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton. In two thousand and two, George W. Bush
- 18:14Speaker 1: was selected, not elected. Joe Biden al Gore was was
- 18:18Speaker 1: elected president. So Joe Biden, I love it. We don't
- 18:24Speaker 1: screaming each other, right, we don't scream each other. They
- 18:26Speaker 1: knew they were busted. You owned them on the fact
- 18:29Speaker 1: that they allowed their show to have Hillary Clinton say
- 18:32Speaker 1: over and over again that the election was illegitimate. So
- 18:35Speaker 1: the wild hypocrisy. Hillary Clinton went on the View and
- 18:39Speaker 1: said Donald Trump's election was illegitimate. They all agreed with it.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams went on their show and said that Kemp's
- 18:45Speaker 1: beating her in Georgia for governor was illegitimate. They all
- 18:48Speaker 1: agreed with it. Not only that, though I pointed out
- 18:52Speaker 1: the ridiculousness of Benny Thompson, the chairman of the Kangaroo Court,
- 18:56Speaker 1: that is, the January sixth Committee objected to the certification
- 19:01Speaker 1: of a Republican president. Jamie Raskin, the lead impeachment manager
- 19:06Speaker 1: for the Democrats going after Donald Trump, one of his
- 19:10Speaker 1: very first act in Congress was to object to the
- 19:14Speaker 1: certification of a Republican president. Democrats have been doing this
- 19:17Speaker 1: for over twenty years, actually longer than that. But not
- 19:21Speaker 1: only that. It wasn't just Donald Trump. You might say, Okay,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Donald Trump broke their minds, and so they all lost
- 19:26Speaker 1: their minds. They did this to George W. Bush. Joe
- 19:30Speaker 1: Biden claimed in two thousand al Gore was elected president.
- 19:35Speaker 1: He said the election was illegitimate, and so the utter hypocrisy.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And you know what, Whoopee said, and Anna said, and
- 19:40Speaker 1: all them they said, oh no, no, it's completely true
- 19:43Speaker 1: when it's Republicans. When it's Republicans, it's illegitimate. If a
- 19:46Speaker 1: Democrat wins, you cannot say it's ill legitimate. I mean,
- 19:49Speaker 1: they demonstrated the rank hypocrisy a edited well, and they
- 19:54Speaker 1: were obsessed with January six. They were trying to tie you,
- 19:57Speaker 1: obviously to January six. You brought up let's be clear
- 20:01Speaker 1: about violence and that includes Antifa, and then Whoopie actually
- 20:05Speaker 1: said she doesn't know what an Antifa riot was, had
- 20:09Speaker 1: no clue what that even means. Listen, no, you know,
- 20:12Speaker 1: here's the thing. We may not like when Republicans win,
- 20:15Speaker 1: but we don't go and we don't storm, we don't
- 20:18Speaker 1: try to teams. But did I list an entire year
- 20:24Speaker 1: of Antifa riots where cities across police cars. Your position
- 20:31Speaker 1: is the left doesn't engage in violence. Really, the left
- 20:34Speaker 1: made a career over the last year and a half,
- 20:36Speaker 1: two years of they set up their own countries. Well,
- 20:39Speaker 1: and remember to the city of Chaz that turned in
- 20:42Speaker 1: the city of what was it? Chaz became after that,
- 20:46Speaker 1: like the police abandoned it and said we can't handle it.
- 20:49Speaker 1: So the entire reason I went on the view is
- 20:53Speaker 1: that yesterday my new book came out. The book is
- 20:57Speaker 1: Justice Corrupted, How the Left is weaponized the legal system.
- 21:00Speaker 1: By the way, it shot to the top of the
- 21:02Speaker 1: Amazon bestseller list, people are pre ordering it and buying it.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But I went on the View to talk about it,
- 21:08Speaker 1: and one of the things I talk about is great length,
- 21:12Speaker 1: is the violence of the Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots,
- 21:16Speaker 1: riots all over the country that burn cities, that fire
- 21:19Speaker 1: bomb police cars, that murdered people. And by the way,
- 21:23Speaker 1: the Democrats didn't just turned to blind eye. They celebrated it.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Kamala Harris raised bail money to bail out of jail,
- 21:31Speaker 1: violent rioters destroying cities, and you know, it really does
- 21:36Speaker 1: strike to the heart of the corrupt corporate media. That
- 21:40Speaker 1: Whoopee's reaction is, I don't know what an Antifa riot is.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I want you to think of
- 21:46Speaker 1: all the moms at home who are listening to the View,
- 21:50Speaker 1: who what they hear is this sanitized problem every day.
- 21:55Speaker 1: If what they're hearing is there's no such thing as
- 21:58Speaker 1: an Antifa riot, it is a stunning it. There's value
- 22:02Speaker 1: to going into the belly of the beast, whether it's
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yankee Stadium or the View. There's value to standing up
- 22:07Speaker 1: at a happy warrior. So I'm smiling throughout all of this.
- 22:09Speaker 1: They're losing their minds. Their hair is on fire, which
- 22:12Speaker 1: is when you know you're winning. It's truth is powerful,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and you can say truth with joy and it is powerful.
- 22:21Speaker 1: But look also in the book Justice Corrupted, I talk
- 22:25Speaker 1: about I tell the inside story of January sixth. It's
- 22:28Speaker 1: actually the first book that has been written from anyone
- 22:31Speaker 1: that tells the real inside story of what happens on
- 22:34Speaker 1: January sixth. I was standing on the Senate floor objecting,
- 22:38Speaker 1: leading the Senate objections when January six unfolded. So I
- 22:42Speaker 1: walked through in the book what happened there. Donald Trump
- 22:46Speaker 1: called me and asked me to personally argue the US
- 22:49Speaker 1: Supreme Court case if the court had taken the case.
- 22:51Speaker 1: And so the book I tell that story. I bring
- 22:54Speaker 1: people inside, and I think it's valuable to go on
- 22:58Speaker 1: the view and to go in hostile environments and try
- 23:01Speaker 1: to speak truth in an environment where truth is usually absent.
- 23:07Speaker 1: There's something interesting you just mentioned. I want people to
- 23:09Speaker 1: grab the book. Obviously, preorder it, grab it wherever you
- 23:13Speaker 1: want to. It's not even pre ordered this now on Amazon.
- 23:17Speaker 1: It's in book bookstores. It is widely in bookstores. I'm
- 23:20Speaker 1: in the middle of the national bus tour. We've had
- 23:23Speaker 1: several people come in. They went to the bookstore bought
- 23:25Speaker 1: the book, and I'm signing the book on the bus
- 23:27Speaker 1: tour because they went and bought it and brought it
- 23:28Speaker 1: to you tour. Today. I was at the airport flying
- 23:30Speaker 1: here to Nashville where we are right now as we
- 23:32Speaker 1: record this for the bus tour, and it was in
- 23:34Speaker 1: the airport today, which was which was nice to see
- 23:37Speaker 1: it there. But for people that don't understand you were
- 23:40Speaker 1: there January the six, Yes, and I think there's some
- 23:43Speaker 1: people that don't understand that. What does you think the
- 23:45Speaker 1: biggest lie of that day? Because you experienced it, you
- 23:49Speaker 1: were there, you could see it on the view. There's
- 23:51Speaker 1: an obsession, yes, I would say in healthy obsession with
- 23:54Speaker 1: January six. Democrats feel like it's the only thing they
- 23:57Speaker 1: have right now that's powerful going into the mid terms.
- 23:59Speaker 1: And by the way, in my experience, nobody outside of
- 24:04Speaker 1: the Washington Beltway or the New York media elite gives
- 24:08Speaker 1: a flip about January six. It's the most bizarre thing.
- 24:11Speaker 1: When you talk to reporters in Washington, it's all they
- 24:13Speaker 1: ask about. When you talked about people like the view,
- 24:16Speaker 1: it's all they care about. When you get back in
- 24:19Speaker 1: Texas or look, I'm in the middle of a seventeen
- 24:21Speaker 1: state bus tour. I was in North Carolina earlier today,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I'm in Tennessee today. It was in Ohio before that, Virginia, Maryland,
- 24:27Speaker 1: wherever you go. Nobody in real America cares a damn
- 24:30Speaker 1: about this. It is an obsession of leftist I would
- 24:33Speaker 1: say they're two lies. At the heart of the media
- 24:39Speaker 1: twisting of January sixth one is there lie that voter
- 24:43Speaker 1: fraud doesn't exist. And anyone who says voter fraud exists
- 24:47Speaker 1: is a crazy tinfoil hat wearing conspirators. And the reality
- 24:53Speaker 1: is voter fraud has been an aspect of elections from
- 24:57Speaker 1: literally the very first time any one had an election,
- 25:01Speaker 1: when the cabmen got together and voted on the Grand Puba,
- 25:05Speaker 1: somebody stuffed the damn ballot box. That is human nature.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's what people do, and listen. I've spent more than
- 25:13Speaker 1: twenty years fighting for election integrity, fighting against voter fraud.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I led a coalition of states in front of the
- 25:22Speaker 1: US Supreme Court defending photo ID laws for election because
- 25:26Speaker 1: it's a powerful tool to stop voter fraud. And we
- 25:29Speaker 1: won six to three in an opinion that Justice John
- 25:32Speaker 1: Paul Stevens, one of the noted liberals of the court,
- 25:34Speaker 1: wrote saying photoid for elections protects the integrity of elections
- 25:39Speaker 1: and prevents people from having their votes stolen. What is
- 25:43Speaker 1: weird about the world post January six is the media
- 25:46Speaker 1: and Democrats treated as if anyone saying voter fraud exists
- 25:50Speaker 1: is a nutcase and their domestic terrorists in their minds.
- 25:53Speaker 1: It is utterly a historical And by the way, CNN,
- 25:56Speaker 1: you take someone like Jake Tapper who refers to anyone
- 26:00Speaker 1: worried about voter fraud as an insurrectionist. Yeah, it is bizarre.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So that's one lies the notion that voter fraud doesn't exist.
- 26:09Speaker 1: There was real and substantial evidence of voter fraud in
- 26:12Speaker 1: the twenty twenty election, very disturbing. Democrats took advantage of
- 26:16Speaker 1: the COVID pandemic to loosen restrictions to set up drop
- 26:20Speaker 1: boxes that you could drop things off in the middle
- 26:22Speaker 1: of the night. States like Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania state constitution prohibits
- 26:27Speaker 1: mail in ballots except in very limited circumstances. Pennsylvania, they
- 26:33Speaker 1: allowed universal mail in ballots. By the way, mail in
- 26:36Speaker 1: ballots have long been acknowledged as a source of voter fraud.
- 26:41Speaker 1: It makes it easier to engage in voter fraud. Pennsylvania
- 26:45Speaker 1: did so directly contrary to the Pennsylvania State Constitution. In
- 26:49Speaker 1: the book Justice Corrupted, I walk through these various facts.
- 26:53Speaker 1: And by the way, one of the talking points leftists
- 26:55Speaker 1: used as well, there were sixty some odd cases against
- 26:58Speaker 1: them and they all lost. There's some truth to that,
- 27:01Speaker 1: But what I point out in the book is the
- 27:03Speaker 1: vast majority of those cases we're not decided on the merits.
- 27:07Speaker 1: In other words, the court never determined was their voter
- 27:10Speaker 1: fraud or not. The court threw them out on procedural grounds,
- 27:14Speaker 1: threw them out on standing, the court threw them out
- 27:16Speaker 1: on timing of when the case was brought. So nobody
- 27:19Speaker 1: looked to the underlying facts. So I walked through that
- 27:22Speaker 1: in great length. But the other big lie, So listen
- 27:26Speaker 1: on January sixth, there were some people who engaged in
- 27:29Speaker 1: acts of violence. There's some people who assaulted police officers.
- 27:34Speaker 1: My view is real simple. If you engage in an
- 27:36Speaker 1: act of violence, you should be prosecuted. If you assault
- 27:40Speaker 1: a police officer, you should go to jail a long time.
- 27:43Speaker 1: And that's true. Whether I agree with your politics or disagree,
- 27:47Speaker 1: if your right wing or left wing or wherever your
- 27:48Speaker 1: views are. You heard a cop, You're going to jail
- 27:53Speaker 1: and you're going to live in a six by eight
- 27:55Speaker 1: concrete cell for a long time. That is rule of
- 27:58Speaker 1: law and justice. But the Democrats and the media and
- 28:01Speaker 1: the Biden de ojab done is they've taken the violent
- 28:05Speaker 1: actions of a limited number of people on that day
- 28:09Speaker 1: and they've used it to try to slander and paint
- 28:13Speaker 1: the tens of thousands of peaceful protesters. The day after
- 28:17Speaker 1: January six, obviously January seventh, I was in the BWI
- 28:21Speaker 1: airport and there were dozens of little ladies who were
- 28:26Speaker 1: there and they came up to me and they were
- 28:28Speaker 1: hugging me and they were crying, and they said, listen,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I was on the mall. I was waving flags, American flags,
- 28:36Speaker 1: singing God bless America. They weren't going to the capitol
- 28:39Speaker 1: to invade. And now the press is calling me a terrorist.
- 28:43Speaker 1: And they were literally hugging me and crying, why is
- 28:46Speaker 1: this happening? And what the press and the Democrats and
- 28:49Speaker 1: the Biden DJB done. His number one attack everyone who
- 28:51Speaker 1: gaged in a peaceful protests and you've got a First
- 28:54Speaker 1: Amendment right to engage in peaceful protest. And there were
- 28:57Speaker 1: thousands of patriots who came to Washington on January sixth
- 29:01Speaker 1: to speak out in support of our nation. But they
- 29:04Speaker 1: tried more broadly to paint every person who voted for
- 29:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump. I voted for Donald Trump as a terrorist.
- 29:11Speaker 1: If you vote for Trump, if you liked Trump, you're
- 29:13Speaker 1: a terrorist. That's what they were trying to paint that
- 29:15Speaker 1: picture on the view as well. And by the way,
- 29:17Speaker 1: the ridiculous kabuki theater. For four or five months after
- 29:21Speaker 1: January sixth, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer erected fences with
- 29:26Speaker 1: razor wire around the United States Capital. They stationed National
- 29:30Speaker 1: guardsmen who were holding machine guns with no magazines, They
- 29:34Speaker 1: had no bullets, so they were literally scary props. And
- 29:38Speaker 1: I would go talk to them, and actually the red
- 29:40Speaker 1: state governors brought their guardsmen home pretty quickly. It was
- 29:44Speaker 1: clear that this was pure political theater. This was not
- 29:46Speaker 1: actually responding to a real threat. So the only guardsmen
- 29:50Speaker 1: that were there were from Blue states like New York,
- 29:52Speaker 1: New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut. And I go talk to
- 29:55Speaker 1: the guardsmen all the time. And I got to tell you,
- 29:57Speaker 1: almost to a person, they were pissed because they got
- 30:02Speaker 1: that they were being used as props in political theater.
- 30:05Speaker 1: And by the way, these are guardsmen who have jobs,
- 30:07Speaker 1: who have families, who got called up and they're standing
- 30:11Speaker 1: there in camos holding scary looking machine guns with no
- 30:15Speaker 1: bullets in the party five in order for what Pelosi
- 30:19Speaker 1: and Schumer wanted to say is every Republican in America
- 30:21Speaker 1: is a dangerous terrorist and you should be scared of them.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And I got to say, those guardsmen were understandably pissed.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Why am I away from my kids to stand here
- 30:29Speaker 1: as a prop. There's another issue that I want to
- 30:33Speaker 1: bring up before and again, grab the book. It's out,
- 30:36Speaker 1: make sure you get it. But there's another political issue
- 30:39Speaker 1: that I want to bring up real quick. And I'm
- 30:41Speaker 1: sure you saw this today. I think this is a
- 30:44Speaker 1: massive victory. The New York Supreme Court has reinstated all
- 30:49Speaker 1: employees fired for being unvaccinated, and they are ordering back pay.
- 30:56Speaker 1: The State Supreme Court found that being vaccinated as not
- 31:00Speaker 1: the spread of COVID nineteen. When he said it again,
- 31:03Speaker 1: the State Supreme Court found that being vaccinated does not
- 31:06Speaker 1: stop the spread of COVID nineteen. If you don't believe me,
- 31:08Speaker 1: CDC director just got COVID again and she's double boosted
- 31:11Speaker 1: double vacs. I think I think she said six boosters.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Is it six out? I believe that's right. I mean,
- 31:16Speaker 1: she's got to have the most of anybody because that's
- 31:18Speaker 1: her job to you know, pimp it. And it was
- 31:20Speaker 1: just a month ago she got her last booster of
- 31:22Speaker 1: the vaccine. But when the New York Supreme Court reinstated
- 31:26Speaker 1: all of these employees who were fired for not being vaccinated,
- 31:29Speaker 1: ordered the back pay, saying their rights had been violated.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I think there was a moment for so many Americans,
- 31:36Speaker 1: Senator that just said hallelujah finally because New York City
- 31:41Speaker 1: fired roughly one thousand, four hundred employees for being unvaccinated
- 31:44Speaker 1: earlier this year after the city adopted a vaccine mandate
- 31:48Speaker 1: under the former mayor Bill de Blasio. Now, the quest
- 31:51Speaker 1: the reason why I ask you about this is there
- 31:53Speaker 1: some of you are saying, Okay, well, what does this
- 31:55Speaker 1: mean for all of the people in the military who
- 31:58Speaker 1: were put basic their careers stopped. They're not able to
- 32:03Speaker 1: be deployed, They're not getting the jobs that they're supposed
- 32:07Speaker 1: to be having. Is this going to then tie into
- 32:10Speaker 1: that in the future, So I hope. So there's litigation
- 32:13Speaker 1: going on all across the country. These vaccine mandates are ridiculous,
- 32:17Speaker 1: they're illegal, they're abusive, They're wrong. I've been leading the
- 32:21Speaker 1: fight and Senate against them from day one. My view
- 32:24Speaker 1: on the vaccine is simple. If you choose to get
- 32:26Speaker 1: the vaccine, that's you're right. You ought to be able
- 32:28Speaker 1: to choose to do that. And if you choose not to,
- 32:30Speaker 1: that's you're right, and you ought to be able to
- 32:32Speaker 1: choose to do that. And there should be no government mandate.
- 32:35Speaker 1: There should be no school forcing you to do it,
- 32:37Speaker 1: there should be no employer forcing you to do it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: You shouldn't lose your job, you know. Joe Biden issued
- 32:43Speaker 1: four different vaccine mandates as president. One applied to active
- 32:48Speaker 1: duty military, another applied to federal civilian employees, another applied
- 32:54Speaker 1: to federal contractors people who do business with the federal government,
- 32:57Speaker 1: and the fourth one applied to large employers, anyone that
- 33:01Speaker 1: had a hundred or more employees. All of them I
- 33:04Speaker 1: believe were an absolute abuse of power and were illegal.
- 33:07Speaker 1: All of them have been challenged in court. The one
- 33:10Speaker 1: that applied to private employers a hundred more employees has
- 33:13Speaker 1: been struck down and went all the way up to
- 33:15Speaker 1: the Supreme Court. It was struck down. It was illegal,
- 33:17Speaker 1: it was contrary to federal law, so that one is
- 33:19Speaker 1: not an effect. Although even after the Court of Appeals
- 33:22Speaker 1: had stayed that order, the White House Press Secretary stood
- 33:26Speaker 1: up and said everyone should follow it anyway. So a
- 33:29Speaker 1: court has ordered that this is illegal, but never mind
- 33:32Speaker 1: what the courts say. Followed anyway. And I think the
- 33:35Speaker 1: White House was very cynically engaged in a game where
- 33:39Speaker 1: they said, we know what we're doing is illegal, but
- 33:42Speaker 1: a bunch of people will obey our order not knowing
- 33:46Speaker 1: that it's illegal, and then it'll be too late, that
- 33:48Speaker 1: will already obeyed us. The other mandates are at various
- 33:52Speaker 1: stages of litigation, and I got to tell you I've
- 33:55Speaker 1: engaged in that litigation. I've led amicus brief, so amaicus
- 34:00Speaker 1: amicus curii brief is Latin for friend of the court,
- 34:04Speaker 1: and those are briefs that are written by people that
- 34:06Speaker 1: are not parties to the litigation, but they come in
- 34:09Speaker 1: and have views. And I've led amicus briefs in multiple
- 34:11Speaker 1: cases against vaccine mandates, defending Navy seals, defending servicemen and women. Look,
- 34:18Speaker 1: I've talked to Navy seals who spent ten fifteen years training,
- 34:22Speaker 1: defending the nation, going to some of the roughest combat
- 34:25Speaker 1: situations you could imagine. And these idiots in this White
- 34:28Speaker 1: House are trying to fire these Navy seals because they've
- 34:32Speaker 1: made the decision that they don't want to get a
- 34:35Speaker 1: COVID vaccine. It's wrong, it's immoral. Those cases are ongoing,
- 34:39Speaker 1: but the New York decision is a big victory. It's
- 34:41Speaker 1: exactly right, and it if you can win in New York,
- 34:45Speaker 1: I think there's now feeling that you can win anywhere
- 34:47Speaker 1: with this look and on the merits of it. We
- 34:50Speaker 1: had a senior executive adviser testifying in Europe who said,
- 34:54Speaker 1: we never test, we never tested whether the vaccine prevents
- 35:00Speaker 1: the transmission of COVID. Now, mind you, these abusive bureaucrats,
- 35:08Speaker 1: and top of that list is Anthony Fauci, who I
- 35:12Speaker 1: think is the most dangerous and the most harmful bureaucrat
- 35:15Speaker 1: in the history of our country, which is quite quite
- 35:17Speaker 1: a distinction. They repeatedly told us take the vaccine, it
- 35:23Speaker 1: stops vaccination it stops transmission. Yeah, well, that's an interesting theory.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You could understand how it could be true, But it
- 35:32Speaker 1: would seem kind of relevant that the maker of one
- 35:35Speaker 1: of the top most predominant vaccines said we never even tested,
- 35:40Speaker 1: We never even looked to assess whether the vaccine stops
- 35:45Speaker 1: the transmission of the virus. That is a profound indication
- 35:49Speaker 1: that when Faucci and the other despots we're demanding everyone
- 35:55Speaker 1: must get the vaccine regardless of what you think, because
- 35:58Speaker 1: we're telling you it stops transmission, they had zero scientific basis,
- 36:04Speaker 1: zero data backing it up. It was politics, it wasn't science,
- 36:08Speaker 1: it wasn't medicine. It's going to be very interesting to
- 36:11Speaker 1: see how people move forward with this. I think, like
- 36:13Speaker 1: you said, that New York Supreme Court ruling saying what
- 36:17Speaker 1: they said that they were it was an outright violation
- 36:19Speaker 1: of these people's rights is huge. And saying being vaccinated
- 36:24Speaker 1: is something they should have never they should have never
- 36:26Speaker 1: been fired, and ordering back pay is a victory for
- 36:30Speaker 1: everybody's right to decide what's best for them. And by
- 36:33Speaker 1: the way, I'll tell you so I've spent for the
- 36:35Speaker 1: last several years, I've either been the chairman of the
- 36:37Speaker 1: ranking member of the Aviation subcommittee in the Senate Commerce Committee,
- 36:41Speaker 1: so I've had jurisdiction over all of aviation. We had
- 36:45Speaker 1: a hearing with the CEOs of the big airlines. The
- 36:48Speaker 1: airlines varied in terms of how they handled this. They
- 36:51Speaker 1: were all federal contractors, so they were facing the Biden
- 36:53Speaker 1: White House trying to really pressure them into enforcing a
- 36:56Speaker 1: vaccine mandate. Some of the airlines did an able jobs.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Southwest Airlines Gary Kelly stood up and said, we are
- 37:03Speaker 1: not going to force anyone to get a vaccine. They
- 37:05Speaker 1: were fighting the White House. It was hard, but Southwest
- 37:08Speaker 1: did the right thing. Delta by and large did the
- 37:11Speaker 1: same thing. American did the same thing. The one that
- 37:14Speaker 1: was terrible of the major airlines was United and the
- 37:18Speaker 1: United CEO is a big support of the Biden White House.
- 37:23Speaker 1: He was trying to curry favor with the Biden White House.
- 37:26Speaker 1: And so they said, we are going to mandate that
- 37:28Speaker 1: our employees get the COVID vaccine, and if you don't
- 37:31Speaker 1: get the COVID vaccine, you're fired. And there were over
- 37:34Speaker 1: two thousand United pilots, United flight attendants, ticket agent, baggage handlers,
- 37:39Speaker 1: that they fired. You're not getting the vaccine. Your job
- 37:43Speaker 1: is done. And so we had a hearing in the
- 37:44Speaker 1: Senate where the United CEO I ripped him a new one,
- 37:49Speaker 1: and I read through letters that I've gotten from United employees,
- 37:52Speaker 1: and look, Houston is a big hub for United. So
- 37:54Speaker 1: there are tens of thousands of United employees who live
- 37:58Speaker 1: in Houston. My hometown. You're you're adopted hometown. Yeah. And
- 38:04Speaker 1: I read through letters of people who spent decades with
- 38:07Speaker 1: United who these jackasses fired because they didn't comply with
- 38:10Speaker 1: the mandate. And even if, by the way, they had
- 38:12Speaker 1: a medical reason they didn't get the mandates. Sometimes people
- 38:15Speaker 1: had other medical conditions that their doctors advised them don't
- 38:18Speaker 1: get the vaccine, didn't matter. If they had a religious objection,
- 38:21Speaker 1: didn't matter. United just came down with a club and
- 38:25Speaker 1: I unloaded on it. And I will tell you that
- 38:29Speaker 1: public pressure, I've played a partner. Others played a partner
- 38:33Speaker 1: cause United to change their policy and to bring those
- 38:36Speaker 1: employees back. And I fly United all the time, and
- 38:39Speaker 1: it has been literally dozens, if not hundreds of times
- 38:43Speaker 1: I've had United employees come up to me, flight attendants,
- 38:47Speaker 1: pilots who just say thank you. Nobody was fighting for us.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Thank you for standing up and fighting for us. So
- 38:54Speaker 1: it makes a difference when you go out and fight. Yes,
- 38:57Speaker 1: whether it's in New York in the stands, whether it's
- 38:59Speaker 1: at the View, or whether it's with United. Last question
- 39:03Speaker 1: for you, um, are we going to see you on TV?
- 39:07Speaker 1: Your is your buddy Jeff going to get the good
- 39:08Speaker 1: tickets to be on TV again for the World Series?
- 39:11Speaker 1: That really is what should we should end on today?
- 39:15Speaker 1: So look, I'm agonized the first three rows just so
- 39:18Speaker 1: you know, I'm just I'm not trying to put pressure,
- 39:20Speaker 1: but it needs to be the first three rows. I
- 39:23Speaker 1: am agonizing over that because I'm in the middle of
- 39:26Speaker 1: a seventeen state bus tour, so I am right now
- 39:29Speaker 1: scheduled to be all over the country trying to retake
- 39:32Speaker 1: the Senate and retake the House. But the Astros, listen,
- 39:35Speaker 1: we're in the six. We've been in the six Alcs
- 39:40Speaker 1: in a row. We're in the fourth World Series out
- 39:43Speaker 1: of six. It is insane and one thing, you know,
- 39:47Speaker 1: but but folks at home may not know. The Baseball
- 39:50Speaker 1: playoffs have become a really important thing to me in
- 39:54Speaker 1: my family, with my girls. So twenty seventeen, the World Series.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I had tickets to Game three, four, and five of
- 40:02Speaker 1: the World Series. Game three I took my dad. Really
- 40:07Speaker 1: cool to go with your dad to the World Series,
- 40:09Speaker 1: like I lifetime memory. Yeah, as a kid, I went
- 40:12Speaker 1: with my dad. We had we had season tickets, so
- 40:15Speaker 1: it was awesome. Game four I took Heidi. That actually
- 40:19Speaker 1: was a mistake. Heidi didn't give a damn about sport.
- 40:21Speaker 1: She doesn't care about baseball. She was bored out of
- 40:24Speaker 1: her mind. It was like a bad, bad mistake. And
- 40:27Speaker 1: by the way, Game four all right. So I was
- 40:30Speaker 1: sitting actually in seats pretty comparable to where I was
- 40:32Speaker 1: at the Yankee Stadium. It was behind home played. I
- 40:35Speaker 1: think it was third row. Very good friend of mine
- 40:37Speaker 1: his seats. I arrived slightly late to the game. I
- 40:41Speaker 1: arrived in the second indning because I had a speech
- 40:43Speaker 1: that I had to give north of Houston. So I
- 40:44Speaker 1: get there in the second inning and my buddy hands
- 40:47Speaker 1: me a red wine. And I'm sitting there and my
- 40:51Speaker 1: phone lights up within minutes, including my buddy Jeff, who's
- 40:55Speaker 1: texting me, dude, what the hell is wrong with you? Yeah?
- 40:57Speaker 1: And you're an America's baseball game, and I turned to
- 41:00Speaker 1: my friend who had invited me to sit there, and
- 41:02Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, are you actually trying to run
- 41:06Speaker 1: the OPO attack ads against me? I know how to
- 41:09Speaker 1: go to a baseball game. Give me a damn bud
- 41:11Speaker 1: light and a hot dog, Like I'm not a communist.
- 41:15Speaker 1: So by the third inning I had a bud light
- 41:18Speaker 1: at a hot dog. But there was one inning that
- 41:20Speaker 1: was really painful, and I asked my friend, I'm like,
- 41:22Speaker 1: should I put my pinky up while I'm drinking like
- 41:25Speaker 1: the red wine? It was terrible? Yeah, I don't. I
- 41:26Speaker 1: don't care if it comes out of a boxer can
- 41:28Speaker 1: if it's red? Wrong? Wrong? Okay, So Game five, Game five,
- 41:35Speaker 1: I brought my youngest daughter, Katherine. Now, Game five was
- 41:39Speaker 1: on October twenty eighth, and I remember it because it
- 41:42Speaker 1: was the day after Catherine's eighth birthday and she went
- 41:47Speaker 1: with me and and it's an interesting testament to the times.
- 41:52Speaker 1: So when you and I went to the baseball right now,
- 41:56Speaker 1: I have a security detail that protects me. Unfortunately, we're
- 41:59Speaker 1: just living an anger time where people are not making threats,
- 42:02Speaker 1: and they make threats. So in twenty seventeen, I didn't
- 42:06Speaker 1: have a detail. It was literally just Catherine and me.
- 42:08Speaker 1: It was daddy and daughter, the two of us. I
- 42:11Speaker 1: had no staff, I had no detail, was just the
- 42:13Speaker 1: two of us. That we sat there. And if you
- 42:14Speaker 1: remember Game five of the twenty seventeen World Series, that's
- 42:17Speaker 1: the one that went till about one third in the morning.
- 42:19Speaker 1: And it was on. It was up and down, and
- 42:22Speaker 1: it was dramatic, and Catherine and I are hugging and
- 42:25Speaker 1: dancing and crying and celebrating and we one Game five.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And I told her afterwards, I said, sweetheart, you don't
- 42:34Speaker 1: appreciate this now, but you will. You will tell your
- 42:38Speaker 1: grandkids you were here tonight and you have just witnessed
- 42:43Speaker 1: the greatest baseball game and the history of Houston Astros like.
- 42:46Speaker 1: There's never been another one like it, there never will
- 42:49Speaker 1: be since then. So it became a thing for all
- 42:53Speaker 1: that Catherine and I do together. So it's my eldest daughter, Caroline.
- 42:58Speaker 1: She's not really into baseball, she doesn't really want to go.
- 43:00Speaker 1: But Katherine, Katherine's a softball player. She's a very good
- 43:03Speaker 1: softball player. And Katherine Talden. Now Catherine is eleven. She
- 43:07Speaker 1: turns twelve on October twenty seventh, so so in I
- 43:12Speaker 1: would say, I'm thinking a World Series ticket would be
- 43:15Speaker 1: a good gift. So we have gone for the last
- 43:19Speaker 1: five years. I take Katherine to the playoffs and it's
- 43:24Speaker 1: just become a daddy daughter thing that we go together.
- 43:28Speaker 1: And she's such a good softball player that will be like,
- 43:30Speaker 1: I'll try to explain, Okay, what's going on? All right,
- 43:32Speaker 1: there's a drop third strike and she's like, Dad, yeah,
- 43:35Speaker 1: I know what that is. Come on, that's like everyone
- 43:37Speaker 1: knows that. And it has become I think one of
- 43:41Speaker 1: my favorite things in life to go with my little
- 43:45Speaker 1: kookie bear, my little Katherine and the two of us
- 43:47Speaker 1: go into baseball. I don't know if we're going to
- 43:50Speaker 1: get to this World Series because the one game I
- 43:53Speaker 1: could go to is Saturday. But Catherine is having ten
- 43:56Speaker 1: little girls, ten, eleven and twelve year old girls spend
- 43:59Speaker 1: the night our house. You're gonna lose that battle. Yeah,
- 44:02Speaker 1: So I'm we may not make it to a World
- 44:05Speaker 1: serious because I may be on the bus tour campaigning
- 44:08Speaker 1: to retake America. I hope we do. I don't have
- 44:11Speaker 1: a great answer to that, but I'll tell you this.
- 44:14Speaker 1: We'll keep you posted. My friends out there. We'll keep
- 44:16Speaker 1: you posted and if it goes to the other you know,
- 44:19Speaker 1: there's a couple of games on the road, you could
- 44:21Speaker 1: always just you know, make it up there for those
- 44:23Speaker 1: you know what I'm I'm oh, have you do you
- 44:29Speaker 1: know the Phillies. I've never been. I've never been a Phillies.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I don't think that's a promise you can deliver, really that.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I know the Eagles fans, but that's a little different
- 44:38Speaker 1: city of brotherly love. Yeah, okay, it's the only stadium
- 44:42Speaker 1: I know where they throw batteries at the opposing players
- 44:47Speaker 1: umi point, So we'll see. I'm not holding my breath
- 44:52Speaker 1: on going to a game in Philadelphia. Um, I hope
- 44:56Speaker 1: we win. I'm gonna be cheering them on. And and
- 44:59Speaker 1: I will say, one of the greatest joys in life
- 45:03Speaker 1: has been going. And I've told Katherine, I'm like this
- 45:07Speaker 1: is this will never happen again, that we have a
- 45:11Speaker 1: period where this team is so good for so long
- 45:14Speaker 1: that we get to you don't take it for granted
- 45:16Speaker 1: because it may not happen for twenty more years. Welcome
- 45:19Speaker 1: to baseball. Yes you don't believe me, Call the Cubs.
- 45:21Speaker 1: They'll explain it all. Two years or you know the
- 45:23Speaker 1: Curse of the Bambino, you know, I mean, how long
- 45:25Speaker 1: did that last? Exactly? Boston. There's so many examples, this Senator,
- 45:29Speaker 1: this is really fun. I love that we got to
- 45:31Speaker 1: pull back the curtain a little bit on the view
- 45:33Speaker 1: the book. Most importantly for people listening right now, you
- 45:36Speaker 1: can grab it everywhere. It's out name of the book
- 45:38Speaker 1: one more time, so people know where to get it.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Justice Corrupted, How the Left is weaponized the legal system.
- 45:43Speaker 1: You can get it on Amazon, you get it into
- 45:44Speaker 1: Barnes and Nobles, you can get it in Books a million,
- 45:47Speaker 1: wherever you get your books. You can get it at
- 45:48Speaker 1: Sam's Club. But go buy the book, and I think
- 45:52Speaker 1: you'll enjoy it. It. Actually it was fun writing it.
- 45:55Speaker 1: I like writing books. I try to tell stories. What
- 45:58Speaker 1: I try to do in the book is what we
- 46:00Speaker 1: try to do in the podcast is, which is I
- 46:02Speaker 1: try to take readers behind the curtain. I try to
- 46:05Speaker 1: take them behind the scenes to understand what's really going on.
- 46:08Speaker 1: And I do think the topic of this book is
- 46:13Speaker 1: really important right now, and so I think you'll enjoy it.
- 46:15Speaker 1: I think you'll learn from it. I think you'll be
- 46:18Speaker 1: equipped when you're talking with your friends and family to
- 46:20Speaker 1: know more about what is happening with Biden using the
- 46:25Speaker 1: DOJ and the FBI and the IRS and the federal
- 46:28Speaker 1: government to target his enemies. And I think that's an
- 46:30Speaker 1: incredible threat to the rule of law and to our liberty.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Grab the book, make sure you run a review of
- 46:35Speaker 1: five star review for the podcast so we can reach
- 46:37Speaker 1: more people on the charts. It's so important, so we
