- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, I got a radio show. Somebody sent me
- 2:14Speaker 1: an email one day that, you know, kind of a
- 2:16Speaker 1: nasty little email, you know, I think I said it
- 2:19Speaker 1: wants to before Steve Harvey trying to be a preacher. Man.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm so far from being a preacher. Man. I can't
- 2:25Speaker 1: even tell you. But what I am trying to do
- 2:29Speaker 1: is share information. I understand how haters work, and I
- 2:32Speaker 1: understand how the devil works. Believe me, I do you
- 2:36Speaker 1: know sometimes even heat, the devil surprises me at the
- 2:43Speaker 1: level and the angles of attack they use, you know which,
- 2:47Speaker 1: I go, Wow, man, I didn't I didn't see that one.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Oh that was pretty slick. I got I gotta get
- 2:52Speaker 1: her credit on that. We try to get me, But
- 2:54Speaker 1: every time you try to get me, I get saved.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I get saved every time, man, because because God got me,
- 3:03Speaker 1: God got some angels camped around me. That's what my
- 3:08Speaker 1: mom used to always say as Sunday school teacher. Never
- 3:10Speaker 1: really understood it, but you know when I was growing
- 3:12Speaker 1: up as a kid, but I got it. Now, you
- 3:14Speaker 1: got some angels around me. And angels come into form
- 3:18Speaker 1: sometimes with people, people who pull your coat to this,
- 3:22Speaker 1: or introduce you to that, or reveals some information to
- 3:25Speaker 1: you like this. He got them all around me. So see,
- 3:30Speaker 1: having a relationship with God has been beneficial to me, y'all.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's not just that what he gives to me, but
- 3:40Speaker 1: what he protects me from. And you know, some some
- 3:45Speaker 1: people wonder, what if you were God? Why he letting
- 3:48Speaker 1: people do that to you? Now, that's not how it works. See,
- 3:52Speaker 1: there's two forces in this world, as good and as evil,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and if you succumb to good, that's what you become.
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's what you do. But everybody don't succumb to good.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Some people succumb to evil. Some people's mission is to hate,
- 4:04Speaker 1: to destroy, to tear down, And so that forces at
- 4:09Speaker 1: work in this world too. And when that force comes
- 4:12Speaker 1: up against me. What God never promised me that I
- 4:16Speaker 1: wouldn't see none of that, that I wouldn't see the attacks,
- 4:20Speaker 1: that I would not come under fire, that I would
- 4:23Speaker 1: not be falsely accused. He didn't say that. A matter
- 4:25Speaker 1: of fact, he for warned me that it would happen.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But what He does give me in those moments, on
- 4:32Speaker 1: moments of comfort and peace, knowing that He's with me,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and no, no matter what my enemy does to bring
- 4:38Speaker 1: me down, it ain't gonna work. It ain't gonna work.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So come if you want to fight, if you will.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I have a man that has been attacking me since
- 4:51Speaker 1: I owned the comedy club in Dallas. He has been
- 4:54Speaker 1: on a mission. Every job I get, he send out
- 4:59Speaker 1: all he's he's send them the people that I'm with.
- 5:03Speaker 1: He didn't send it to the w B. He just
- 5:05Speaker 1: sent these notifications falsely claiming that he has some information
- 5:11Speaker 1: that can destroy me, that he has some audio clips
- 5:16Speaker 1: of me saying things on stage that could destroy me,
- 5:20Speaker 1: and that if I don't give him five million dollars,
- 5:24Speaker 1: he gonna do it. You know how long this man
- 5:26Speaker 1: been doing this? I mean he didn't call NBC right
- 5:29Speaker 1: on up to NBC where I am now. He didn't
- 5:32Speaker 1: done everything, man, He has done everything now even messed
- 5:37Speaker 1: around and got itself now claiming in his letters physically
- 5:40Speaker 1: ill and his illnesses and what was to befalling his family.
- 5:46Speaker 1: He's blaming that on me too, as Steve Harvey not
- 5:50Speaker 1: stressed me out and paid me this money he owe me? What? What? What? What? What?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Where you get this figure from? Man? Where we were
- 5:58Speaker 1: you coming with this? But every time, man, even when
- 6:01Speaker 1: I tried to talk with the man to say, man,
- 6:03Speaker 1: look man, what is it? What is you really trying
- 6:06Speaker 1: to do? This is what? This is? How much I want?
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm not paying you that, man, You know I'm not.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm not giving you that. He just has kept on
- 6:13Speaker 1: and on and on, and you know what, he the
- 6:16Speaker 1: messed around, got itself sick. He'd messed around, man, got
- 6:20Speaker 1: himself in some situation. And can I tell you something.
- 6:23Speaker 1: It's been going on since nine team h maybe nineties seven.
- 6:33Speaker 1: He started the attack when I first went on, No
- 6:37Speaker 1: before that probably he started the attacks in it's two
- 6:44Speaker 1: thousand thirty every nine. And he didn't got six lawyers.
- 6:50Speaker 1: All the lawyers didn't drop the case after they come
- 6:52Speaker 1: in and they discovered the fact. But he steady trying.
- 6:56Speaker 1: But it's the angels that's around. And I foll warned
- 7:00Speaker 1: him several times. Man, and man, if I was you,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I go a head on because what I'm not gonna
- 7:04Speaker 1: do is being because you cannot break me. Because I
- 7:09Speaker 1: happened to be a soldier for Christ. I happened to
- 7:12Speaker 1: be an imperfect soldier for Christ as nothing, man as nothing.
- 7:19Speaker 1: And oh, oh it ain't like a bunch of people
- 7:21Speaker 1: and tried. Now, Oh y'all been on YouTube, y'all been
- 7:24Speaker 1: on the internet. Oh they didn't try. Oh they didn't
- 7:27Speaker 1: put some dirt on me. Man, that ain't true. But
- 7:30Speaker 1: if you keep looking at me, though, and I'm not
- 7:33Speaker 1: the prize, but if you put your eyes on God,
- 7:36Speaker 1: as where you go. But if you look at me,
- 7:38Speaker 1: He's covered me through it all. And that's been the
- 7:41Speaker 1: importance of the relationship I formed with God, is that
- 7:45Speaker 1: I know that I'm under his wings, that I'm never
- 7:48Speaker 1: under his ever loving protection, that he got me and
- 7:53Speaker 1: I just wanted to share that with you that if
- 7:55Speaker 1: you got If you're looking for some protection, if you're
- 8:00Speaker 1: looking for a way to have the stript to get
- 8:02Speaker 1: through what you're going through, get some god man. If
- 8:06Speaker 1: if if, if, if you want to weigh out, get
- 8:09Speaker 1: some god man. If you've been gangbanging and you're sick
- 8:12Speaker 1: of gangbanging, get you some god man. If you're tired
- 8:15Speaker 1: of being on drugs and you're tired of drinking, get
- 8:18Speaker 1: you some god Man. If you're tire to bed, if
- 8:21Speaker 1: you're sick of tired of being sick of tired, get
- 8:23Speaker 1: you some god Man. I'm just telling you now. If
- 8:27Speaker 1: you're trying to make your dreams come true and it
- 8:29Speaker 1: looked like you ain't gonna make it, and you still
- 8:32Speaker 1: believe that that's for you, get you some god man.
- 8:35Speaker 1: If you're setting a new gold dream of aspiration and
- 8:37Speaker 1: you're trying to get there and you're gonna start out today,
- 8:41Speaker 1: get you some god Man. I'm just telling you. I'm
- 8:44Speaker 1: just telling you it's real. What I'm saying. Man, I
- 8:47Speaker 1: ain't on faith, Dude, with it, you understand. I'm just
- 8:49Speaker 1: telling you real. Get you some god man, and be patient,
- 8:54Speaker 1: have faith believe, don't doubt, but Lord have mercy. Get
- 8:59Speaker 1: ready to work your tail off. Did you hear me?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Get you some faith, Believe, don't doubt, and get ready
- 9:08Speaker 1: to work your tail off. God can't blessing you See
- 9:14Speaker 1: a lot of times we go to God asking for
- 9:16Speaker 1: prayers and stuff, but we go to him and we
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't give nothing. God nothing to bless. We won't blessing,
- 9:21Speaker 1: but we don't give him nothing to bless. You make
- 9:23Speaker 1: one step, he'll make two. You start, he'll finish you come,
- 9:33Speaker 1: He'll go you dream it, He'll build you started, he'll finish.
- 9:44Speaker 1: See you see you're trying everything your way. I'm gonna

- 10:04Speaker 1: you survived the folk without the three hunter? Yeah? Man,
- 10:09Speaker 1: how much you think you have spent trying to get
- 10:11Speaker 1: to just a few hundred? Now, let me ask you something.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Do you have a few hundred more to try to
- 10:17Speaker 1: get this twenty three hundred that you've been trying to
- 10:19Speaker 1: get for four years? Yeah? I could do that, But
- 10:22Speaker 1: do you want to Man, do you have the time

- 10:31Speaker 1: right now to fell on some hard times. I could
- 10:33Speaker 1: use that money. And I've been praying to God to
- 10:36Speaker 1: help me. Yeah, you've been praying to God to help you,
- 10:38Speaker 1: but you've been telling God how to do to help. See.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You keep telling God that if he gives you the
- 10:42Speaker 1: twenty one three hundred, you'll be all right, when in essence,
- 10:46Speaker 1: God probably got something way greater for you. But you

- 14:43Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Harp. Alright, it's time for something funny. Alright.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's not looking good. I mean, we can all agree
- 14:52Speaker 1: on this. It is not looking good for the president
- 14:54Speaker 1: right now. Yeah. So our question for everyone is, have
- 15:00Speaker 1: you ever been fired? Because there is talk of impeachment,
- 15:03Speaker 1: firing him, all of that. Have you ever been fired?
- 15:06Speaker 1: And what did you do? Let's start with you, Mr Harvey.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Have I ever been fired? Yeah? Have I ever been?
- 15:21Speaker 1: By the hell I had to get into comedy, I can't.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I know. I got fired man, because I just couldn't. No.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I never you know, I don't take orders good. I've
- 15:31Speaker 1: never been the guy that wanted the boss. Every time
- 15:34Speaker 1: I had an employer, I was looking at him and
- 15:36Speaker 1: in two weeks I never understood why this person was
- 15:39Speaker 1: in charge of me. I just never got it. I've
- 15:42Speaker 1: been fine. I've been fired for a lot of reasons.
- 15:45Speaker 1: One time I got fired because I had a giant
- 15:47Speaker 1: to cleaning John. You know, I was vacuuming and you know,
- 15:51Speaker 1: shampoo and carp is on floors right before up my
- 15:53Speaker 1: carp and cleaning cover and the cleaning company to the
- 15:56Speaker 1: lady came in and ran it and handed me some
- 15:59Speaker 1: gloves and see you're doing toilets tonight, I said, doing
- 16:04Speaker 1: doing toilets were? And she said here at this office complex.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And I went in the bathroom and it's about you
- 16:11Speaker 1: know about foe toilets in them, and I don't. I
- 16:15Speaker 1: don't do toilets, even even back then. I'm not. I'm
- 16:21Speaker 1: not cleaning the tarlet. It's nothing wrong with it. Nothing.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm not not that I'm gonna blovet. I just got
- 16:27Speaker 1: a thing. I don't want to clean no toilet. People
- 16:30Speaker 1: that do that, I ain't got no problem. And some
- 16:32Speaker 1: great people out to earn a living. I'm not knocking that,
- 16:35Speaker 1: but I'm not. I'm not cleaning toilets. I don't want to.
- 16:39Speaker 1: And so I just stood in there. I washed out
- 16:42Speaker 1: the face bowl, you know, I mopped it everything, and
- 16:46Speaker 1: I sprayed some spray on everything, and I came out.
- 16:50Speaker 1: So it was her company, you know. So she went
- 16:52Speaker 1: in there to check everything after it, and she said,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I don't believe these toilets have been cleaned did you
- 16:59Speaker 1: clean them? I said, to the best of my ability,
- 17:04Speaker 1: And she said, well, maybe your abilities wasn't good enough.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I said, well, how would you like it? Don She said, well,
- 17:10Speaker 1: it just doesn't seem like anything. But now I think
- 17:13Speaker 1: you just sprinkle the uh the uh uh disinfecting it
- 17:17Speaker 1: because it phamed up, and I think that's all you did.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I said, well, yes, ma'am, but you know I did
- 17:23Speaker 1: the best. She said. You take a brush, you scrubble
- 17:26Speaker 1: into the rim and you scrubbed down the side. That's
- 17:29Speaker 1: when it's cleaning. You take that scrub bush and going up.
- 17:31Speaker 1: That's why you had these rubber gloves. Then you take
- 17:33Speaker 1: these disinfecting cloths and you wipe them off down and
- 17:35Speaker 1: get all up under the seat. I said, right there,
- 17:38Speaker 1: right there, all up under the seat. You're talking about
- 17:43Speaker 1: what people ask me, she said, And what is wrong
- 17:51Speaker 1: with that? I said, ma'am, I did the best I could.
- 17:55Speaker 1: She said, well, you don't need to be working here
- 17:57Speaker 1: because you're gonna be on toilets from now. I took
- 18:00Speaker 1: the rubber gloves off. I said, thank you for the opportunity, ma'am.
- 18:03Speaker 1: She said, no, no, no, no, no, don't quit. You're fired.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I said, well, I take it either way. Ain't doing
- 18:10Speaker 1: any damn told that was it? Man? That was That
- 18:14Speaker 1: was my first job. I got fired from, well, second job,
- 18:19Speaker 1: second second job A bunch of times, A lot of times.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I didn't mind having people over me, but I always
- 18:26Speaker 1: trying to find a slick way to deal with it.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So I'm working in this clothing store. I wasn't a
- 18:31Speaker 1: tailor at that time. It was my job to make
- 18:33Speaker 1: sure they're putting new suits up. And Steve would tell
- 18:36Speaker 1: you suits coming big boxes, huge boxes, big enough that
- 18:40Speaker 1: if you need a break, you could get in a
- 18:43Speaker 1: box and go to sleep and nobody would know you
- 18:48Speaker 1: were in the box unless they heard you snoring in
- 18:52Speaker 1: the box and the boom, here we go. I was
- 18:57Speaker 1: in there, I was sleep, I was out top over it,
- 19:01Speaker 1: and somebody came back and said, there's a neat bro
- 19:05Speaker 1: not on. One of these boxers is snoring, so you
- 19:13Speaker 1: can look and see me in the box, right, And
- 19:16Speaker 1: that's when I had to clean up my my loptop
- 19:19Speaker 1: because I was in the box sleep with the lead.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So I lost that. Y'all right, man, Uh, you've never
- 19:35Speaker 1: been fine, not that I know. Maybe one time one time,
- 19:38Speaker 1: but it's not funny or good. They just go ahead.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I worked at a pick and pay. I was a
- 19:47Speaker 1: stock clerk. And then you know when he got crowded
- 19:50Speaker 1: on Mother's Day, on Mother's weekend, which is the first
- 19:54Speaker 1: of the month, that's what they called it, Mother's Day weekend,
- 19:57Speaker 1: That's what all the checks came out. That's the most
- 19:59Speaker 1: crowded grocery store in the hood. Right, So I had
- 20:02Speaker 1: to go up and I had to bag. I started
- 20:04Speaker 1: off as a bag I was really good. I could bag.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm a double bag. Everything that's that real neat package
- 20:10Speaker 1: is right weight everything. So every now and then we're
- 20:12Speaker 1: going there. So I became a stoker, so I would
- 20:15Speaker 1: stock the shelves and it's white guy named Leo worked
- 20:18Speaker 1: in the dairy department. I just go over there and
- 20:22Speaker 1: ask him questions because I wanted to work and produce
- 20:24Speaker 1: more than anything man. And so this dude named Leo
- 20:28Speaker 1: worked in uh dairy and I was in produced talking
- 20:31Speaker 1: to this old black guy who's been running produced for
- 20:33Speaker 1: twenty some years. How I got the job? How could
- 20:36Speaker 1: I get it? You know, I'm about he's seventeen years old.
- 20:39Speaker 1: And the dude Leo came up and started talking. He said, so,
- 20:42Speaker 1: what do you want to get in produced for? And
- 20:44Speaker 1: I just said, well, you know, man, I've always been
- 20:46Speaker 1: interested in him. He said, look, dairy's where you want
- 20:49Speaker 1: to be. Come back here and I'll show you. You know,
- 20:51Speaker 1: we're just going back there and we're talking. He's showing
- 20:53Speaker 1: me all the dairy stuff. And I ain't, like, I
- 20:54Speaker 1: don't want to work at that now, I said, matter
- 20:57Speaker 1: of really like produce. We're going back and forth. So
- 20:59Speaker 1: he got a little irritated. It not that I was
- 21:01Speaker 1: knocking the dairy department. It's just that I wanted to
- 21:04Speaker 1: work in produce, man. I didn't really want to be
- 21:06Speaker 1: there putting cards of milk on the shelf. I wanted
- 21:08Speaker 1: to work with vegetables and stuff. And so then he
- 21:11Speaker 1: kept on and then final him and he said, oh,
- 21:14Speaker 1: so what is it you just all of you just
- 21:16Speaker 1: enjoy picking things? Oh I was a holder, man. What's
- 21:22Speaker 1: what you mean by that? I said? He said, I
- 21:25Speaker 1: guess it's just inherent though, you know, I just want
- 21:27Speaker 1: to pick something. What And when I started right there,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I didn't punch him with nothing, but I was choking it. Yeah,
- 21:40Speaker 1: And then assistant Stoe manager was coming down the back
- 21:44Speaker 1: that we was in the store room and I was
- 21:45Speaker 1: had as they had been over some boxes choking. That
- 21:50Speaker 1: was its day, last day of the job. Inherent y'all
- 21:56Speaker 1: like picking stuff. Yeah, I mean the nerve. Yeah, you

- 27:18Speaker 1: me tell yourself, y'all gonna make me come out with there? Walter,
- 27:22Speaker 1: you come here, okay, you come here and you talk

- 27:28Speaker 1: where's somebody gonna put my damn bird loose back on

- 28:11Speaker 1: Did you just say? Yo? Dad? It was gonna kick my. Yeah,
- 28:14Speaker 1: he couldn't care you and you were gonna go to police. Okay,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you go to jail. Okay, okay, look I got something
- 28:19Speaker 1: else I need to say to y'all. Is you're listening,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I say, did you list what you what the problem?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Do you have a man that worked for you? And
- 28:28Speaker 1: your cleaner's name John? You want to talk? You know
- 28:31Speaker 1: my name is nephew tim Me from the Steve Harvey
- 28:34Speaker 1: Morning Show. You just got Frank phone called by John
- 28:38Speaker 1: that works in your cleaners? What John? John? You to
- 28:44Speaker 1: call me? What did you want? Did John call me?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Is this? So? What What is your name? Sue? Yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 1: that's my name. You always get mad at John for
- 28:55Speaker 1: listening to the radio in the morning round Under on
- 29:00Speaker 1: the radio. Don't got me to point phone call you.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I work at the radio show that that's done not funny.
- 29:10Speaker 1: John Lama don't favor radio til super funny. So I
- 29:20Speaker 1: gotta ask you, what what is the best radio show
- 29:23Speaker 1: in the land. Oh that Steed Seed Hardy Show. Yeah,
- 29:28Speaker 1: you can get watch and watching cant him. But this
- 29:38Speaker 1: is my favorite one though, Asian Clay is my favorite.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I love it. I love this one. Can you laugh
- 29:44Speaker 1: about nothing? Oh yeah, yeah, you just sit over there
- 29:48Speaker 1: and know nothing. Well, you know who needs to be
- 29:57Speaker 1: quiet as well? That's our president. He addressed graduating cadets
- 30:02Speaker 1: as a U. S. Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday. He
- 30:06Speaker 1: said that no politician in history has been treated as
- 30:10Speaker 1: poorly as he has. This is what President Trump said,
- 30:14Speaker 1: adding that you have to put your head down and fight, fight, fight,
- 30:18Speaker 1: never ever give up. Things work out just fine. The
- 30:22Speaker 1: President delivered the speech to a crowd of about four
- 30:24Speaker 1: thousand people, and despite his optimistic message, things haven't been
- 30:28Speaker 1: going well for him at all this week. Following the
- 30:31Speaker 1: ouster of FBI Director James Comey, came the revelation that
- 30:35Speaker 1: Comey said in a memo the President asked him to
- 30:38Speaker 1: drop the investigation into Michael Flynn, who had a short
- 30:41Speaker 1: stint as Trump's National security advisor. We know that, so
- 30:45Speaker 1: the sight never ever ever give up a class when
- 30:50Speaker 1: you're doing the right thing. Though exactly junior, when you
- 30:55Speaker 1: saw it in a miss You're listening to Steve Hardy
- 31:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Mr ann is coming up next.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But first graduating from college we all know as an
- 31:07Speaker 1: exciting time, right, but it can also be very, very stressful,
- 31:12Speaker 1: especially when you consider that about sevent of those earning
- 31:15Speaker 1: a bachelor's degree have to deal with paying back student loans,
- 31:19Speaker 1: always a major problem. And while getting extra education can
- 31:23Speaker 1: help you achieve a better career, college is in a
- 31:26Speaker 1: perfect solution for everyone. With that in mind, here's a
- 31:29Speaker 1: rundown of things colleges does not. College does not teach
- 31:33Speaker 1: you here we go uh to pursue your dreams between classes,
- 31:37Speaker 1: to be able to talk, being able to make your
- 31:41Speaker 1: dream between classes. College is not to pursue your dream
- 31:46Speaker 1: They don't discuss your dreams in college. You have to
- 31:49Speaker 1: provide that yourself. That's the first mistake of the educational.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Being able to make personal connections with people is vital,
- 31:59Speaker 1: like networking. They is like that, Okay, they don't teach
- 32:01Speaker 1: you that, right, Nope. Uh, they don't teach you that
- 32:05Speaker 1: success is a marathon and that you don't need to
- 32:08Speaker 1: make a big splash. Okay, it's about the journey. College
- 32:12Speaker 1: doesn't teach your success. College teaches you how to memorize
- 32:16Speaker 1: and recall during test time. That's not success. They just
- 32:22Speaker 1: teach you recall. It's important, you know, if your dream
- 32:25Speaker 1: is to be a doctor, of course you got to
- 32:27Speaker 1: get an education. Will be a lawyer, you gotta have
- 32:29Speaker 1: an education. Engineer got to have an education. There's nothing
- 32:33Speaker 1: to do with your dreams, don't they don't. They don't teach.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Instead acquire dreams. This is what they should do. Instead,
- 32:39Speaker 1: acquire skills and build your network a little each day. Now, Steve,
- 32:43Speaker 1: if you could go back in time, I know we've
- 32:45Speaker 1: been discussing it already and talk to yourself as a
- 32:47Speaker 1: recent college grad or high school grad, what would you
- 32:50Speaker 1: tell yourself what we've just been talking about. Right, Well,
- 32:54Speaker 1: out of telling myself I should never took my stupid
- 32:56Speaker 1: and down, don't waste your time, I mean you never
- 33:01Speaker 1: want in college? Is that what you're talking about? Yeah?
- 33:04Speaker 1: I shouldn't know, because what I wanted to do and
- 33:06Speaker 1: be was not there. Yeah, the college taught me. The
- 33:09Speaker 1: most valuable lesson I learned from college was people, how
- 33:15Speaker 1: to deal with people, with people, and that's what that
- 33:18Speaker 1: was my greatest takeaway from college. Social skills, how people are.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And I learned valuable lessons in that living with people.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I didn't know how to get along with people from
- 33:30Speaker 1: different cultures. That was to take away from me in college.
- 33:33Speaker 1: And nothing else came out of college for me. Nothing,
- 33:36Speaker 1: And that's what they say that they don't teach you
- 33:38Speaker 1: that networking. And I really wished I had gone to college.
- 33:42Speaker 1: My sister went. I didn't go, but trade school I
- 33:44Speaker 1: did pretty good, pretty damn good. And I was a tailor.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I didn't owe anybody any money when I got out.
- 33:52Speaker 1: I steal to this date on college and no students
- 33:55Speaker 1: owned or nothing like that. And I worked right away
- 33:58Speaker 1: as soon as I got out of trade school. Him
- 34:00Speaker 1: assistant was still little. She owe me mine in now
- 34:06Speaker 1: do you still makes that? Still going there? Hucket pockets
- 34:12Speaker 1: pockets Okay, lady and gentlemen, MS and trip the lovely one,
- 34:23Speaker 1: good morning, thank you very much, Steve, and this is
- 34:26Speaker 1: a trip everybody. Okay, President Trump still insist that he
- 34:29Speaker 1: never tried to get the FBI to abandon his investigation
- 34:32Speaker 1: into former nationalist curity advisor Mike Flint's ties to Russia
- 34:35Speaker 1: or into the agency's probe and to weather members of
- 34:38Speaker 1: his presidential campaign were involved with Moscow's alleged efforts to
- 34:41Speaker 1: control the outcome of the election. The entire thing has
- 34:43Speaker 1: been a witch hunt, and there is no collusion between
- 34:47Speaker 1: certainly myself and my campaign. I think it divides the country.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I think we have a very divided country because of
- 34:55Speaker 1: that and many other things. We have to get back
- 34:57Speaker 1: to running this country really, really well. We've made tremendous
- 35:02Speaker 1: progress in the last hundred and some days, tremendous progress,
- 35:06Speaker 1: and that's what I want to be focused on, because,
- 35:09Speaker 1: believe me, there's no collusion. Russia is fine. But whether
- 35:13Speaker 1: it's Russia or anybody else, my total priority, believe me,
- 35:18Speaker 1: is the United States of America. Yeah. Well, the allegations
- 35:21Speaker 1: surface after Trump abruptly fired FBI Director of James Comey,
- 35:24Speaker 1: and the contents of one of call Me's memos became public.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Was a memo where he stayed that Trump told him
- 35:29Speaker 1: that he wished the investigation would quote go away, in Oklahoma,
- 35:32Speaker 1: the family of a non armed black man shot and
- 35:34Speaker 1: killed by a white police officer last September are now acquitted.
- 35:37Speaker 1: White police officer say they intend to drop a wrongful
- 35:40Speaker 1: death suite on the city of Tulsa. The victim, Terrence Cutcher,
- 35:42Speaker 1: was having truck car trouble. He stopped his vehicle and
- 35:45Speaker 1: got out. His family cried when they heard. The jurors
- 35:48Speaker 1: found officer Betty Joe Shelby not guilty of first degree
- 35:51Speaker 1: mass slaughter. Shelby claims she fired her weapon because she
- 35:54Speaker 1: thought Mr. Crutcher had a weapon and she was fearful
- 35:56Speaker 1: of her life, but prosecuted say Crutcher was no threat
- 35:59Speaker 1: to her. In fact, he was clearly seen holding his
- 36:01Speaker 1: hands in the air when she killed him, a scene
- 36:04Speaker 1: captured on dass board video and by a helicopter. The
- 36:07Speaker 1: family lawyer is Benjamin Crump on the heels of Eric
- 36:11Speaker 1: Gardner in New York, Michael Brown and Ferguson. Then lest
- 36:16Speaker 1: just goes on and on and African American man being
- 36:21Speaker 1: killed by white police officers and they get away with it.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I really thought that TUSA would be the example that
- 36:29Speaker 1: said all American citizens are granted their due process of
- 36:35Speaker 1: the law, and it does not matter if you are
- 36:38Speaker 1: a young African American man. Unfortunately I was wrong. White
- 36:45Speaker 1: collar works at the Ford Motor Company facing layoffs this year.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Today is Boys Club Day, Celebrate your Elected Officials Day
- 36:52Speaker 1: and Armed Forces Day. And this has been a triple
- 36:59Speaker 1: We back Eugene the Butterfly twenty minutes after the hours.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Stay tuned Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 37:05Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show, alright, Solange. She wrote a letter to
- 37:09Speaker 1: her teenage self for teen Vogue. She says, when you
- 37:13Speaker 1: go out into the world feeling really confident in who
- 37:15Speaker 1: you are, young people will call you names, and grown
- 37:18Speaker 1: folks will call you names as well. She says, It's okay.
- 37:23Speaker 1: One day you'll name yourself and that name will belong
- 37:26Speaker 1: to you. Will not be the ones they ordained crazy, ugly,
- 37:29Speaker 1: attention seeking weirdo. Sometimes you will still get call these
- 37:34Speaker 1: things as an adult, except you will actually embrace some
- 37:37Speaker 1: of them. You will learn that these are just words,
- 37:40Speaker 1: and every once in a while they will hurt, but
- 37:42Speaker 1: you will choose to turn those words into a symbol
- 37:45Speaker 1: of beauty. Solange also writes about losing a best friend
- 37:48Speaker 1: to gun violence, about becoming a mother at seventeen, and
- 37:52Speaker 1: about the time when she wanted to marry Brandon Boyd
- 37:55Speaker 1: from Incubus Incombus. Does he get is that like a
- 38:04Speaker 1: rock group or something? Well, no, I'm just saying, you mean,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know, through everybody off with that name, who is he?
- 38:14Speaker 1: I don't know who he is. He's a it's a group.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Incubacy gets behind his name. He does. Well. I was
- 38:20Speaker 1: just saying, because of all the things that Shalan talked about,
- 38:24Speaker 1: it did sounds like nail. Did you know the things
- 38:27Speaker 1: that can trouble you as a teen and bother you
- 38:30Speaker 1: and you know you can carry that into an adult.
- 38:32Speaker 1: But she says, you know what's going to happen, and
- 38:34Speaker 1: don't worry. I was called fat as. Sit your fat as?
- 38:43Speaker 1: Were you overweight? Yeah? I want husky Jeane. Remember husky
- 38:47Speaker 1: Jeane with the word husky back that that did not
- 38:52Speaker 1: help yourself esteem. You stand over that and cutter rouge
- 38:59Speaker 1: because they made so made noise. The most faithful thing
- 39:05Speaker 1: is teacher told me one time in class, sit your
- 39:09Speaker 1: fat ass down in the front of Okay, Salon says,
- 39:18Speaker 1: you will learn that these are just words. Every once
- 39:22Speaker 1: in a while they will hurt. Well, no, it's funny.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Back then he said, you will learn, but you will
- 39:27Speaker 1: choose to turn those words into a symbol of beauty.
- 39:29Speaker 1: And you have done that now. I just did that
- 39:32Speaker 1: back then in the seventh grade. You crying on the inside.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Ain't hurt right now? You were crushed. You hurt right now.
- 39:39Speaker 1: At I can't believe the teachers said it. Yes, she
- 39:46Speaker 1: had enough, she had had enough. But didn't your teacher
- 39:50Speaker 1: tell you something similar site in front of everyone? You
- 39:54Speaker 1: could sit out back there, little Stevie. At then the
- 40:00Speaker 1: food you ain't gonna emp up, make no money after
- 40:04Speaker 1: the food. In the words of Solange, you will learn

- 47:09Speaker 1: guys got a backyard, I can use. We got a backyard,
- 47:12Speaker 1: What do you teach? I teach yoga. I teach yoking
- 47:15Speaker 1: the mornings from from six to eight. Hopefully I won't
- 47:17Speaker 1: be a problem. You're making make money doing yoga, yes, sir,
- 47:20Speaker 1: I definitely do. I make enough, definitely to cover the
- 47:22Speaker 1: red that's for sure. That shouldn't be a problem. I
- 47:25Speaker 1: know I know a little bit about yoga. That's that.
- 47:27Speaker 1: I mean, really, if it's y'all, you know you're not

- 47:34Speaker 1: moved in? Man? I'm trying to get something. I just
- 47:35Speaker 1: moved in from the from the East coast. I jumped
- 47:38Speaker 1: on my yoga pretty quick, and I got quite a
- 47:40Speaker 1: bit of clientele built up, and you know, I'm just
- 47:44Speaker 1: just ready to get started, get moved in man. Something
- 47:45Speaker 1: something that I can actually call home. You know, Uh yeah,
- 47:48Speaker 1: Well you know we're looking at rent, rent it out
- 47:50Speaker 1: pretty quick, um, you know, because we want to try
- 47:52Speaker 1: and get it filled as soon as possible. Because if
- 47:54Speaker 1: you said, we are you are you? You got a roommate,
- 47:57Speaker 1: you're you're it would be me and my wife and

- 48:15Speaker 1: necessarily need to do that for? Well, you gotta know
- 48:17Speaker 1: who you're into, and then you want to know what
- 48:19Speaker 1: the credit they got, so if they can afford the

- 48:33Speaker 1: it cracking, I can do I can do a background
- 48:34Speaker 1: check and you right not give me a SOB security number. Okay,
- 48:37Speaker 1: but let me let me go ahead and just do this.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Man on that background check, because you know that what
- 48:41Speaker 1: I want to say about that is this it might
- 48:44Speaker 1: be something on there about like when I was on
- 48:46Speaker 1: the East Coast. You know, I was actually teaching, uh,
- 48:49Speaker 1: naked yoga. You know what I mean, naked yo. Uh.

- 49:23Speaker 1: and doing no naked yoga in my backyard. Not all
- 49:27Speaker 1: that behind me? Now that's on the East coast, man,
- 49:28Speaker 1: that that's that's all behind me. Now. I didn't put
- 49:31Speaker 1: that thing down. Man, I don't care if it's behind you,
- 49:33Speaker 1: front of you, on the side you're doing yoga in

- 52:33Speaker 1: You have no idea. I'm so glad it's a joke. Man. Okay,
- 52:39Speaker 1: one of these days you are going to see the
- 52:47Speaker 1: hooky it was a gloomy day. This is an interesting,
- 52:56Speaker 1: interesting story here. Boy, wish it was me. It was
- 52:58Speaker 1: a gloomy day when day Brenton Brantley pulled into minute
- 53:02Speaker 1: shop in his hometown, but not for very long. He
- 53:05Speaker 1: bought two jumbo buck stratch scratch off lottery tickets. While
- 53:09Speaker 1: he was rubbing it with a coin, he couldn't believe
- 53:11Speaker 1: his eyes. He's sixty eight years old. He won seven
- 53:14Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Yes, that was after tax
- 53:18Speaker 1: had turned out to five and some thousand dollars and
- 53:22Speaker 1: some change. It's gonna go toward buying his first ever
- 53:26Speaker 1: new car, new vehicle. He's gonna buy a Ford pickup.
- 53:30Speaker 1: If I ever win a lot of like a lot,
- 53:33Speaker 1: a real lot, my message would be the following people
- 53:39Speaker 1: can kiss. Listen for your name. I'm starting with the
- 53:46Speaker 1: a alphabetic how much it gazillion? Yes? Okay? Is this son? Yeah?
- 54:00Speaker 1: The following people listen for your name, kiss in alcabetical order.
- 54:13Speaker 1: And I like what Jorge said. He's gonna keep his job,
- 54:16Speaker 1: but he's coming in late money, all right. The Strawberry
- 54:26Speaker 1: letter is coming up next. But Steven Steve has my
- 54:29Speaker 1: story and leave early. I love it. Oh my goodness. Yeah.
- 54:36Speaker 1: But anyway, this guy is gonna buy a Ford pickup.
- 54:39Speaker 1: He's gonna buy a new house, and it's gonna have
- 54:42Speaker 1: to have a garage, you know that, so he can
- 54:43Speaker 1: put his brand new, first ever new car, new Ford
- 54:47Speaker 1: pickup in this garage. Yeah. He has four grandchildren, ten
- 54:50Speaker 1: great grandchildren. He won seven hundred and fifty after taxes,
- 54:55Speaker 1: seven hundred fifty dollars. Yeah, after taxes, it's five dollars
- 55:02Speaker 1: and some change. So he's going to buy a new
- 55:04Speaker 1: car and a new and get that brand new pickup board, yeah,
- 55:08Speaker 1: first ever, and a house and with a garage so
- 55:11Speaker 1: we can put the truck in there. He's sixty eight
- 55:14Speaker 1: years as mentioned, Strawberry Letter coming up next, and Steve
- 55:19Speaker 1: has a crazy story, my favorite. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 55:26Speaker 1: Morning Show. Alright, Strawberry Letter coming up next. It's gonna
- 55:29Speaker 1: be another crazy one. But speaking of crazy, what is
- 55:33Speaker 1: the story you have for us? My favorite story? I
- 55:39Speaker 1: never heard this from. I had this partner man we
- 55:43Speaker 1: was at this dance. Name was k Doug kidded Wig.
- 55:48Speaker 1: And then you know how back in the day, though
- 55:51Speaker 1: nastic would come out the top of your socks. Oh yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 1: and they would fall down round you know, all of
- 55:58Speaker 1: us did, did it? You know, we put rubber bands on,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but Kenneth had rubber band in his socks up. He
- 56:05Speaker 1: was dealing with all day. So we put a bunch
- 56:08Speaker 1: of mon in. So he's out of this dance. And
- 56:11Speaker 1: we were just dancing, man all night, And so I
- 56:15Speaker 1: kept looking over there. Kidney kind of kept reaching down
- 56:19Speaker 1: right below his cash just you know a little just
- 56:21Speaker 1: a little rubbed his leg. But he get back up
- 56:23Speaker 1: and he started dancing some more. And then and then
- 56:26Speaker 1: I look over there and Kindeth down there just rubbing
- 56:28Speaker 1: right below his count on both legs, and he looked
- 56:31Speaker 1: at us, started looking a little stressful getting at paying
- 56:34Speaker 1: on chinching we out here, dann Literally he would knew
- 56:36Speaker 1: it like it was a part of the dance though,
- 56:39Speaker 1: So I ain't really paying right And so finally, man,
- 56:43Speaker 1: I looked over there and Kenneth had dropped down on
- 56:46Speaker 1: both knaves and then just collapsed. What happened? Face forward
- 56:56Speaker 1: and everybody to dance stopping, damn d J cutting musical.
- 57:01Speaker 1: And they went over there and they rolled Kenneth over
- 57:03Speaker 1: and I would consid and people were starting to just
- 57:06Speaker 1: press on his chest. They were trying to give them CPR.
- 57:09Speaker 1: They was trying to, you know, if they were trying
- 57:11Speaker 1: to act like they had defibrillated, you know, just trying
- 57:13Speaker 1: to clear you know, just pressing on his chest and
- 57:16Speaker 1: beating on his chest. And Kenneth came to and just
- 57:19Speaker 1: started fighting to make it off it off of me,
- 57:23Speaker 1: Stop pushing. And they said, Kenneth, Kenneth, what's what's hurting?
- 57:28Speaker 1: He said, brow my socks down? Kind of socks had
- 57:35Speaker 1: cut the damn blood so bad that his ass had fighting.
- 57:44Speaker 1: They pulled nag up, They rolled the socks down. He
- 57:50Speaker 1: had so many rubble bands they had cut so deep
- 57:54Speaker 1: into the cut. Kenneth below his cast was wrong, is
- 58:04Speaker 1: just cutting tool mylf and everybody was confused so tight,
- 58:29Speaker 1: you know. All right, take us to the Strawberry letter.
- 58:39Speaker 1: The Strawberry letter subject was I right or wrong? He
- 58:46Speaker 1: Stephen the family. I am twenty four year old female
- 58:48Speaker 1: that is well established for my age. I have my
- 58:51Speaker 1: own house, car, and I am a registered nurse. Anyway,
- 58:55Speaker 1: I met this guy a couple of months ago, and
- 58:57Speaker 1: I was interested in him. We would hang out from
- 59:00Speaker 1: time to time and I really enjoyed his company, but
- 59:03Speaker 1: it seemed like the only thing that would become of
- 59:05Speaker 1: this is friends would benefit benefits. One day, out of
- 59:08Speaker 1: a blue, he said his birthday is coming up, and
- 59:10Speaker 1: what am I going to get him. I quickly mentioned
- 59:13Speaker 1: the friends with benefits and he said, no, it's not
- 59:16Speaker 1: like that. I want more. I want to get to
- 59:19Speaker 1: know you as a person. In the whole time, I'm
- 59:21Speaker 1: thinking he's just saying this to continue to get the goods.
- 59:25Speaker 1: So the next time he came over, he ended up
- 59:27Speaker 1: trying and getting the goods. And after it was over,
- 59:30Speaker 1: I got upset, left the room and came back and
- 59:32Speaker 1: told him it was time for him to go. He
- 59:35Speaker 1: had gotten what he wanted and there was no reason
- 59:37Speaker 1: for him to still be there. Uh to be here?
- 59:40Speaker 1: He looked confused and didn't know where the attitude came from.
- 59:44Speaker 1: But he got up and I got his stuff, and
- 59:46Speaker 1: before he left, he said, I'll talk to you later,
- 59:49Speaker 1: and I said, I don't think I will be communicating
- 59:52Speaker 1: with you anymore. I feel bad now, was I wrong?
- 59:57Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, were you where You're wrong?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I mean, what do you want out of this? You know?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Do you want a relationship where someone cares about you
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and loves you, or do you just want to be
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: some man's boo, you know, with benefits, his friend with benefits.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: So maybe you know, since you feel bad now now
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: that he's gone, maybe you'll take the time to consider him. Um,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: you know, he said he wanted to get to know
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: you better, and uh, you know, sounds like he wants
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: something with you to me. Maybe you'll realize now that
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: it is you and your attitude and your fears and
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: your insecurities that are holding you back from possibly having
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: a good relationship with the man. Stop tripping, you know, Steve, Well,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, Shirley. I think this is
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: a classic case of not getting a clear understanding of
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: what everybody's in it for. See, you can't create new
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: terms and then become unhappy with the terms. Are you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: twenty four? Your female that's well established for your agent? II?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: You really are? You got your own house, a car,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and you're a nurse. Okay, sister, you're doing really, really well,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: extremely well. You met a guy a couple of months ago.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: You're interested in it. We would hang out from time
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: to time, and I really enjoyed his company. But it
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: seemed like the only thing that would become of this
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: is friends with benefits. Okay, see, hold on, see you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: hung out from time to time. You really enjoyed this company.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: But it seemed like the only thing that would come
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: out of this would be friends with benefits. So what
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: that means is that hanging out was more than really
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: hanging out. Y'all were sleeping together. Okay, now you've discovered
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: that it looks like all this is gonna be is
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: some friends with benefits. Well, you're using the term benefits
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: because you're obviously taking the term out the book. And
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I have explain to women the reason you hang on
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: to your cookie because it's a great benefit. Now you
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: got a friend end of yours, you called a friend,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: which everybody's definition of friendship is different. And now you're
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: saying that they have benefits with it. And then one
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: after day, one day after blue, he said his birthday
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: was coming up and what am I gonna get him? Uh?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: And then I quickly mentioned the friends with benefits and
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: he said, no, it's not like that. I want more.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I want to get to know you as a person.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: The whole time I'm thinking this, he's just saying it
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: continue to continue to get the goods. So, in essence, lady,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: let's just tell the truth. You were passing out the
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: goods to a person who didn't know you, and you
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: didn't know him. That's really what this is about. Man.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I hate to keep doing this and hammering this message home,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: but my goodness, I want more. I want to get
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: to know you as a person. You're sleeping with a
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: dude you don't know because you passed out the benefits
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: before he proved himself worthy of the benefit package. No
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: other way to explain this to you except you have
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: done this to yourself without having any standards as to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: what a friend is to you on him and any
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: standards for when you pass out your cookie. Everybody, come
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: in and get a handful part too, of Steve's response
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour you're listening to Steve
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show. Come on, Steve, finish with your your
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: response to part two of this crazy letter. Ain't it Yeah?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Ain't it y'all? This this letter right here, hey, Steve,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Fay for your female is established from my age, got
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: her own house called resident. Anyway, I met this guy
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a couple of months ago. I was interested in and
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: we were hanging out from time to time. I really
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: enjoyed the company, but it seemed like the only thing
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: that would become of this is friends with benefits. One day,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: out of the blue, he said his birthday is coming
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: up and one am I gonna get him? I quickly
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: mentioned a friend with benefits and he said, no, it's
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: not like that. I want more. I want to get
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to know you as a person. The whole time, I'm
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: thinking he's just saying it to continue to get the goods.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: So the next time he came over, he ended up
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: trying to get the good After it was over, I
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: got upset and left the room, came back and told
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: him it was time for him to go, and he
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: had he had gotten what he wanted, there was no
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: reason for him to still be here. He looked confused
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: and didn't know where the attitude came from, but he
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: got him, got the stuff, and before he left, he said,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I talked to you later. I said, I don't think
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I'd be communicating with you anymore. I feel bad now,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: was I wrong? Sureley's absolutely correct and saying, well, you're wrong.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I don't know what do you want? Okay, let's say
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you ain't read the bo Let's say, the friends with
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: benefits is a common term. I must admit I've heard
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: that many times before friends would benefit. But you didn't
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: discuss any of that. You know now you know? Then
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: at the end of the letter, you wrote, I feel bad? Now?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Was I wrong? You feel bad? Now? No? No letdy
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: no no no no see see seen. Let me back
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: up a little bit, a little, a little twenty for
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: you all. Let me help you understand something. You felt
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: bad when you was writing this letter. You felt bad
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: for what caused you to wrote to write the letter?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: You fed? You felt bad after he asked you what
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: he was getting for his birthday. Uh. Then you got
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: mad because you had to remind him, hey, we're just
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: friends with benefits. Then you got mad because he said, no,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I want more than that. You got mad because you're
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: thinking the whole time he's talking that he's saying all
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it is just to continue to get the goods. Then
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you got mad because the next time he came over
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: he was trying to get the goods. Then you really
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: got mad because after it was over, which means he
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: got the goods. Now, who are you mad at? You
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: mad at him because because you gave it to him.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: It's all y'all do. See, that's all y'all do. Y'all
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: ain't been talking, getting to know each other, learning each other.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Y'all been getting together, passing out benefits. Now you're mad.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Now you don't came back in the room with you're
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: crazy self, because this crazy you sleep with the man
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: you give in. You got upset and left the room,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: came back, told him it's time for him to go,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: that he had gotten what he wanted and that was
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: no reason for him to steal be there. Did you
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: not give what you want? See? Women amazed me with
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: that statement. You got what you wanted? But did you
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: not get what you wanted? So you keep dumping this
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: on the dude? It takes two to do that thing.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: So now you got what you wanted, you could leave. Now,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: did not you get what you want? Tell get out?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Now you get out? He looked confused. You're damn right,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: he confused. Every man on earth would be confused. You
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: mean get out. We were just doing what we always do.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: When I come over here, I'll talk to you later.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Now I don't think I'll be communicating with you anymore. Yeah,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: he's confused. But guess what you confused? You confused, ma'am.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: You have to get yourself some standards. See you have none.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Now you want a guy to respect what you have?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: No standards, But you want the respect of a woman
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: with standards. A man will only give you the respect
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: that you command. All right, we gotta get out of here, Steve.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Let's go, uh emails or Instagram? That's your thoughts at
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: my girl? Surely that's for today's strawberry letter. Well, Memorial
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Day weekend is right around the corner, people, And yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: you can officially wear white. Officially we're white now after memorials.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I don't know about that. I don't know about that
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: at the memorial What can't I tell it? Ain't at
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: the memorial we can walk around. Well. According to Triple A,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: thirty nine point three million people will travel fifty miles
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: or more away from home next weekend, which translates to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: the highest volume of travel since two thousand five. Thirty
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: four point six million Americans will drive to their destinations
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: and increase of two point four per cent, while another
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: two point nine million will be flying, which is a
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: five point five percent increase over last year. Now, Orlando
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Florida is the most popular destination for Memorial Day travel,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: followed by I didn't know this Rome and London? Okay
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: really yeah? So yeah, I know from Orlando to Rome
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: and Mondon. Yes, all right, So anybody traveling on Memorial
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Day weekend? Yes, Junior, where you going, Jr? I'm going.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I'm going to Houston. Man. My Grandma's a great way
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: to sell. It's gonna be old people over there for
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: brown like what like fourties and fifty? No, no, no,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: my grandmother got a she got a group of friends.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Friends is old. So you know, a bunch of them.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: You know they're gonna be hitting on me too, So
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I got to do. Ain't nothing like what do they
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: say when you pull up? That? Is that your fine
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: little grass, right? Miss Herbie lap and everything? Now? Thank you?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: But don't get some of that will money and stuff?
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: What do they do they? Yeah, you don't got the
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: music out there and everything in the backyard. You don't
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: have to pick up, you know, but yet they touch
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you on. Yeah, I'm blessing my old woman before the
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with she too old, go to jail.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: I can't report it now, I can't report her. So
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you're sitting on her lap, pull you right on down?
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: She wrong? Yeah, because her two? Yeah, does she touched places?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: She touched places? No, you know they grabbed like you behind.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: They're gonna don't do that. I'll be at I'll be
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: that granch, I'll be that smelling like white diamond. You
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: can tell who pulled up at the part about the smell. Oh,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: that's just Henry Henry Hill were smelling? Who like being gay?
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Are there any of them there that are you know,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: like kind of cute? Yeah? She has ms gladys, ms gladys.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: You could tell she used to be nice back in
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: the day. She had a shape. She's the only one
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: that's old, still got her shape. You're listening to Steve
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up right now, may Day. Now,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: what is this exactly, Steve? Steve, you said it? If
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: you know me and j Man we met each other
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: back eighties six man, you know Whatno, you know cell phones, right,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: So what we had to do was like whenever we
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: wanted to talk to each other, he had an answer
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: machine and I had so we have to call each
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: other answer because you know, comedians, you know you check
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: your answer machine. Three photons work because it's probably give
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: so you always call it, you know, and the back
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: of the day, you could punch in the code and
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: hear your message, play it back, go to the next one, skill,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: you know, with your little touchtone phone. And so Jay
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: and I developed a system where if we really needed
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: to talk to each other and it was a hordon,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: we go may day, may day, then we say the
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: number we was gonna be at between four hours. It
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: could be a pay phone at a gas station, pay
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: phone on the corner, you know, just wherever we knew,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: and then the other person, wherever he was, would find
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: the time during that window to get to the phone
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: and call him at that number. Okay, And so that's
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: what I had some of the worst may days probably Well, yeah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I had this habit of writing down where I played,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: you know, and writing about you know the show how
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: the show wind and I write my jokes and who
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I was weird. Yeah, that was not good. That was
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: not good. I used to keep this book close to me,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: real close to me, like where is my book? I
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: gotta have my book? Well, does the other person found
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: the book? Is this other person female? She found the book?
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: And even though the spelling was bad. She decifer all
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: of the soul. The next thing for me to do
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: was to call Steve maybe, and you had to wait
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: for him to call you back, because I mean, it's back.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I'm going through it right, I mean talking to my
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: point right now. So I meant to pay phone waiting.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I'm waiting you don't call, I will go by to
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: then I go to the next phone call him again.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: He got a call and check his messages to call
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: me back. So when he finally called me, all I
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: said when he knew about the book, all I said
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: was she found the book and I heard click. I
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: can't help you nothing, there's nothing she found the book.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: She found the book. Man, oh my god. Uh made
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you know the worst man. So that's what it was about.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: That's how we did it back in the day. You know.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: So these comics talk to day about you know, the
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Internet and getting busted like that, tweeting and stuff like. Man,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: we paid our dudes in the day. We paid our dudes.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I know who we pave the way. Seriously, she eating
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: wasn't easy back in the day. That somebody had to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: do with somebody had you have you have more may
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: days in school oh, I have way more may days,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you answered the phone. Yeah, Steve had a couple may days.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I want to hear it. That's so come on,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I was about dating this girl. Man, there's like, yes,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: you remember that. I didn't know it because I was
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: just going in town. I leave, she got it, she
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: got boyfriend, and uh, the dude called me. I mean
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I mean he didn't call me.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: He saw me somewhere and he left a note on
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: my car and he said, uh, when I see you,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I'm whooping your age. Well, you know, look man, that's
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: fine and good. You know, I'm twenty eight. I'm in
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: nice shape. I'm twenty eight, still had my fighting skills,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: real shop. But if I don't know who you are,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I you could surprise me and I could lose. Because
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: I'm speaking to you. Why he's throwing punches. Yea, So
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: I said, I didn't want to get in the clock
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: because I thought the dude was somewhere watching me. We're
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: gonna So I went over to the payphone bay day.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: So I had to stand that pay phone for six
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: hours to Jane called this machine. So I'm hastening back
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: and potato chips. I mean, you know, a little budget
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: items that laught a lot of chewing. Like, I'm busy,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: but I'm standing scanning, talking lot looking for somebody that's
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: gonna walk upon me. I just needed Jay to know
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: where I was going case something happened, man, and I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: had to tell him the whole story. Some Jay finally
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: called me. He's a man. What's up? I said, And Jay,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: I gotta dude, Man, you know the girl I was seeing?
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: He said yeah. I said, she got a boyfriend. He said,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: what that got to do with us? Man? Right? I said,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: he put? He said he gonna so he know the
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: car I got. Jay said, what're your next gig? I said,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: he said, started driving? Now, all right, thanks, dog got
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: in the car and the Mississippi. Now I told him
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: what I was going to Mississippi. I said, dogge to
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: take me about seven hours to get that. You don't
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: hear from me? And seven hours he got that girl
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: and this her boyfriend. We're gonna way back like Cadillac seats.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Man made dame, and I was hoping that the guy
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: would get him and then I could get that gigs.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, a new
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: survey has asked people what age should they be expecting
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: to pay their expenses on their own? Okay, and it
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: turns out millennials feel that they should take responsibility at
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: a much younger age than we expect. Yeah, I'm a
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: parent of a millennial. A new survey is asked folks
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: what age people should be expected to pay their expenses
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: on their own, and it turns out that millennials feel
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: they should take responsibility at a much younger age than
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: we expect. Millennials. Millennials feel people should be able to
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: afford their own housing by age twenty two, while yeah right,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: baby boomers and Gen xers actually think it should be older. Definitely.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Millennials also think that people should be able to pay
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: for their cars a little over. They should pay for
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: their cell phones by eighteen, which also is younger than
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: all other generations. And at what age do you guys
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: think how experience? None of mine did all of that cars. Yeah,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: I mean, first of all, they're talking about something they
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: don't know, because if they knew, they wouldn't have to
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: say we should be able to You're not right, you're
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: not doing it. You're not going to your parents for
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: a house are exceptions to the route, but for the
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: most part, most twenty three year olds are just putting
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: themselves out of college. How you think you save money
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: for a house. It's hard to save for a house
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: because you've out to live. And the problem with your
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: first job is you got to buy everything. You don't
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: have m M. You don't have a car, you don't
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: have them right amount of clothes to go to work.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: You don't have money for lunch. You gotta produce that yourself.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Then you're starting to realize how much you really take
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: to take care of yourself. Now you're trying to save
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: for a house. Something went wrong? Oh you forgot about that? Yeah,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: things go wrong, It's called life. Now you look up
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: in the mirror and you decided that you can't live
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: with them teeth stacked on each other. No more so.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Now you gotta go to the damn bunis. Wait, what
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: say that again? You don't look that fund out that
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: you can't leave stack don't have each other? Now you smile.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Ain't working for you no more so? You got another bill? Yeah,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: another bill? Yeah, and and and getting that tooth took
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: off on top of that all the truth, that's how Yeah,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: now you thirty five with races. Yeah. Yeah, So now
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you don't jump in the thirty five or forty with
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: braces trying to get that drunks that push you more behind.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: And we should calling people that had teeth stacked on
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: top of each other from nine t were with two
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: on each side. We should call it jack pot jack
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: because you look like a jack o lanning with jack pot.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: You got extra in your mouth. That's my grandmother said,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: got enough teeth for another mouth, give him some. Yeah,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: so that goes your plan. The next thing, you know,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: you're trying to buy money for mom and daddy or
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: daddy or daddy. You're buying it from daddy. You're calling
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: daddy phone. That's Daddy for money. Yeah, it's daddy. They
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: think that you should be at that. But the reality
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: at that age, yeah, but it's it's definitely not true.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: It's but when I graduated from college, I'm moved back
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: home with my mother. I lived with her for a while,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: because you're right, Steve, the job, I had the money,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: It just I couldn't afford to live on my own
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: right away. Never. But so many kids moved back. So
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: many kids are in the basement or in killed me
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: to go back and live with my mom. Really, no way.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I just couldn't do it. Maybe that's a man thing. Yeah,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I just was not going back home. Yeah, I was determined,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: and I was doing pretty bad. I was doing real bad,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you know what. I wasn't gonna go back home. Just
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: wasn't gonna go back. Things weren't bad at home, you
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: just know. I just didn't want to go back home.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Then I lived in the why you were just used
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: to being your own? Yeah? Under my roof? Yeah, T
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: seven years old? You tell me I can't stand in
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: front of the refrigerator door. Let's you gotta be off
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: the phone about midnight. I never cut the TV down.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I'm twenty seven right out. You didn't eat about my
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Vanilla Wavers and I can't say it. Damn like parents are?
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: They do not play that my room. You don't mean
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: vanilla Wavers in what I told you about leaving that
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: to set up. I'm so glad on my own. No,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. Man, you will always bells. They
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: don't care that they want to come back. They want to.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Aren't they entitled? Think they are? They think they are entitled.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: What I'm saying that's how they act. Millennias act very entitled.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I know. My son told me as lonely as you
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: got money, I got what I remember. I told my
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: my daughter she could pick out her own bedroom set.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: She was at the highest price store. You don't start out, No,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: I slept on a palette for a long time. You
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: have a job. They have plans of life with your money. Yeah,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: they're planning their life with your money. I know you've
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: experienced that. Suburban kids, none of brand and call it
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: the only one knew what a little hard times all
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: the rest of them a little suburban kids. Man. Is
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: it our fault though? Because we wanted to give them
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: a better life than we had it. Yeah, each generation
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: wants to do that our parents want for us. I
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: think that's how it goes. But but I think they
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: want to be top of the food chain. You're right, Shirley,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: But I think social media. Of course, we talked about
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: this a lot, but I think that social media added
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: to we want to give them a better life. You know,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that's what has the them feeling entitled in all of that.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I mean just little simple things, but like your own television, Yeah,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: that your own your cell phone in your room. I
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: had a bed and a dress mad he be quiet.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I had a draw I had a draw cuter sale
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: were nothing was sitting there, not a window, all your

- 1:31:39Speaker 1: you know that a couple of entertainers, one as an
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Oscar winner. I'm talking about Jamie Fox. He has a
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: game show coming out called Shazam. Yeah it looks fun. Yeah,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: it looks like it should be a lot of fun
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: because it has music. And as Jamie FOXX like he says,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: and me and I'm taking you back, didn't go my
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: pound used to say that Shazam Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: could go on that show. Surely shows am I will
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: win you know, you know songs. I know him by
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: a note, I will win. And that's what you do.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: You play the note and you know if you can
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: guess and see if you can guess it. And I
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: think the winnings are up to a million dollars or something.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: You could, Yeah, you can win like a million dollars,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: So you need to go on the show. Girl speaking
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: to Jamie Fox, Well, let me tell you this too. Yeah, okay,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: I told you game show Snoop Dogg is getting a
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: game show as well. He's gonna be the host of
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: Joker's Wild, the new Joker's Wild. It's a classic casino
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: style game show. It aired back in the seventies and eighties. Yeah,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: they say it. I remember it. It was a card game.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: Uh huh. One had that funny sounding. Uh joker, joker, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: So they're gonna bring back the show with Snoop as
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: the host. He says it's a no brainer for him.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: That was his favorite game back in the day. So
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: there you go. And I mentioned Jamie Fox, he and
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: Katie Holmes. Their relationship is heating up. It's eating up.
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: Jamie Fox and Katie Holmes. Katie Holmes used to be
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: married to Tom Cruise. Remember Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: played in that movie Collateral Damage together. Now it's a
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: good movie. That was a really good movie. Huh yeah. Yeah,
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: they're all over Paris going to dinner. So you do it?
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Do it? What? Yeah? Go White man that it's yeah yeah.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: I don't look at me and say that. Sam had
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: one the statements. Man, Jamie Fox is a friend of mine.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: I'm proud of I'm proud of it. Say that power
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: to him. White Are you kidding me? You like dating
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: white women? Wrong? Man, Steve, I need to talk to
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: you after that. Love you fine, love your love and
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: love of course we believe in that. On this show,
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: I'm talking about him talking about Jamie Girl Like I
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: don't say anything wrong. I'm saying that was great snapshot
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: a picture of a so I can know who she is.
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: She looked good. The main thing, she's white. That's the
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: main all you need to know, right, all I need
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: to know? So fine, make me Itch. Why did you
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: hire him, Stevens? Who was the point? What was you
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: trying to make? Anyway, Katie and Jamie have really been
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: keeping their relationship on the low low step that would love.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: They're getting ready to step out there. They really are,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: They really are. They're planning to do some more public appearances,
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: you know, together, whether it's just going out to dinner
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: or whatever, the doing that, so when they get back
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: to the U S it will probably be more of
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: their congratulations yeah money, Oh she's a white woman, a
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: white woman. Now you're on board with understanding here, Steve.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: You know he's a champion for black women everywhere. You know,
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: I'm not saying I'm not putting down white black women.
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: I'm doing that at all. No, no, no, no, I
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: would never do that. No no, I'm not. No, that's
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: not what I'm saying. I'm saying, that's good that she's white.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Saying. That's all I'm saying. She
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: find so j do you date black women too? Though?
