- 0:15Speaker 1: million things in the shubing not be true. Good together
- 0:27Speaker 1: for st Please, I don't join me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn urn you you you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. You got to turn them out, turning water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your tha h I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me naw one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man. You
- 2:15Speaker 1: know what y'all. I mean, really, the goodness of God
- 2:18Speaker 1: is overwhelming if you think about it. I mean, really
- 2:22Speaker 1: really think about it, even when your circumstance doesn't look
- 2:28Speaker 1: so bright, even when you're going through something that's causing
- 2:32Speaker 1: you discomfort, pain, Even in that God's goodness is actually
- 2:40Speaker 1: overwhelming because don't forget why you're going through this moment.
- 2:46Speaker 1: First of all, this too shall pass. But also secondly,
- 2:49Speaker 1: remember man, ain't everything else that you've gone through that
- 2:54Speaker 1: seems so insurmountable at the time, didn't you get past
- 2:58Speaker 1: that too? I mean, it's amazing if you really think
- 3:03Speaker 1: about it, you don't get stuck on any one issue
- 3:07Speaker 1: your whole life. The only people that get stuck on
- 3:10Speaker 1: an issue they whole life is people who won't let
- 3:13Speaker 1: it go. That's really all it is. That are people
- 3:17Speaker 1: who exist, and you may be one of them. Oh please, No,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I've been guilty of it myself before. But I learned
- 3:25Speaker 1: something that are things in my past that I just
- 3:28Speaker 1: would not let go of. It was done, it was
- 3:32Speaker 1: over with, I was past it, but I would not
- 3:36Speaker 1: let go of it. It was over. The dude that
- 3:40Speaker 1: did it to me didn't exist no more. The problem
- 3:43Speaker 1: that it created didn't exist no more. The only problem
- 3:45Speaker 1: that kept hanging on was I would not let it go.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And man, you can't go forward if you're gonna keep
- 3:54Speaker 1: looking in the past. It's an impossible thing. It's like
- 3:59Speaker 1: driving a car. If you keep looking only in the
- 4:02Speaker 1: rearview mirror while you're driving, you're going to crash pretty soon.
- 4:07Speaker 1: And a lot of people just keep crashing over and
- 4:10Speaker 1: over and over and over because you won't drive your
- 4:14Speaker 1: car you keep looking in the rearview mirror at the past.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Oh woe is me? Oh you know they did me
- 4:21Speaker 1: like that? You know I ain't been the same since
- 4:23Speaker 1: he cheated on me. Oh man, ever since she stole
- 4:26Speaker 1: my money, I ain't been the same man. She played
- 4:30Speaker 1: me and every since that out and treated women differently.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You may have some deeper stuff going on, like but eventually,
- 4:36Speaker 1: guess what, do you understand that when you have relationship
- 4:40Speaker 1: God with God, you can take that to him too
- 4:44Speaker 1: and drop it off and leave it there. Do you
- 4:47Speaker 1: know that he can fix and heal that. Maybe it's
- 4:51Speaker 1: something serious like that that you need fixing or healing from,
- 4:54Speaker 1: a relationship with God can fix and heal that. But man,
- 5:00Speaker 1: come on, y'all, whatever it is, and I'm not trying
- 5:03Speaker 1: to downplay it or make it act like it wasn't
- 5:06Speaker 1: traumatic in your life, because oh god, you don't want
- 5:09Speaker 1: to you know, you don't want nobody do that to
- 5:10Speaker 1: you because you want to be the you know, the
- 5:13Speaker 1: post to child for misery. So please don't let me
- 5:17Speaker 1: take that from you. If that's your position, that's your
- 5:20Speaker 1: Hall of Fame card. You hanging on too, I'm the
- 5:23Speaker 1: post to child for misery. Oh no, one is more
- 5:27Speaker 1: woe than me. Then please don't let Steve try to
- 5:30Speaker 1: take that from you. You go ahead and hang on
- 5:32Speaker 1: to that, but let me tell you something, though. If
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna hang on to, that's what you're
- 5:37Speaker 1: gonna always be the poster child for misery. At one
- 5:41Speaker 1: point in time, you're gonna have to get on the
- 5:42Speaker 1: move past it. You can sometimes, man, it's merely a
- 5:46Speaker 1: simple thing of taking it to God and leaving it there.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You know, some people don't have money for therapy. Some
- 5:53Speaker 1: people don't even know who to call for therapy. God
- 5:57Speaker 1: is the best psychologist in the world. He can fix
- 6:00Speaker 1: it for you. There is nothing too hard for God.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know when something seems impossible, y'all? God does the
- 6:07Speaker 1: impossible all the time every day. You don't know how
- 6:11Speaker 1: I know. I just look at a couple of basic things.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Do you know that that sun comes up every day
- 6:16Speaker 1: in the morning. It comes up in the east and
- 6:19Speaker 1: it sets in the west. You can't do nothing about that.
- 6:23Speaker 1: All you can you can wish, because you plant your
- 6:25Speaker 1: flowers on a certain side of your house. You can
- 6:28Speaker 1: wish ya all you want. Then maybe one day he
- 6:30Speaker 1: would bring it up out the northwest so those flowers
- 6:33Speaker 1: would nap. Now it's gonna come up out the east,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and once the sun hits the horizon, when you look
- 6:39Speaker 1: in the water. Like if you ever out in la
- 6:41Speaker 1: and you see the sun going down. Once the sun
- 6:44Speaker 1: once you can visually see the sun touching the horizon,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you have three minutes. You have exactly three minutes. You
- 6:51Speaker 1: can sit there with your watch. You can time you're
- 6:53Speaker 1: three minutes and it's gone. Three minutes. It's gone. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: read that somewhere and then I went and tried it.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It's gone every day if if it's clear enough not cloudy.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Once the sun touches the horizon on water, you got
- 7:09Speaker 1: three minutes. When the wind blows, you can't do nothing
- 7:13Speaker 1: about it. He can bring it from the northeast. He
- 7:16Speaker 1: can bring it from the west, he can bring from
- 7:17Speaker 1: the south. He can bring it hard, he can bring
- 7:19Speaker 1: it cool, he can bring it hot. It's certain things
- 7:22Speaker 1: that God, that God does the impossible all the time.
- 7:25Speaker 1: How those stars sitting up there? How how can you
- 7:28Speaker 1: find these constellations? The big dip of a little dip
- 7:31Speaker 1: of Ryan the Hunter. Oh that's God's got nothing you
- 7:34Speaker 1: can do about it. You can't reach them stars, you
- 7:37Speaker 1: can't shoot at them, you can't move them out the way,
- 7:40Speaker 1: or Ryan the Hunter's belt is gonna beat them. Three
- 7:42Speaker 1: stars out of angle. You can, you can, You can
- 7:44Speaker 1: call it what you want to call. It's still that's
- 7:45Speaker 1: what it is. See, He does the impossible all the time.
- 7:49Speaker 1: He created heaven and Earth. You're saying that God can't
- 7:53Speaker 1: get you through your past. Somebody did this to me.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's the worst thing I had, the worst childhood of anybody.
- 8:00Speaker 1: God can't get you pass that. He can move heaven, mountains, Earth,
- 8:06Speaker 1: he can form the Grand Canyon, he can make the
- 8:08Speaker 1: water come over Niagara Falls twenty four seven. He can't
- 8:13Speaker 1: fix your little bitty pass yours. It's amazing how people
- 8:18Speaker 1: make their problems bigger than God. Somebody told me one time,
- 8:22Speaker 1: stop telling God how big your problems are, and start
- 8:27Speaker 1: telling your problems how big God is, and go on
- 8:32Speaker 1: with your life. Quit driving your car looking in the
- 8:35Speaker 1: rear view mirror. Ain't nothing back there but your pass.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And if it was hurtful or painful, or something you
- 8:42Speaker 1: just felt like you can't get over, take your problems
- 8:45Speaker 1: to God and leave them there. You hear the old
- 8:48Speaker 1: spiritual all you've heard it, take your burdens to the Lord,
- 8:51Speaker 1: leave them ye at all time. But you think that
- 8:54Speaker 1: applies to everyone, But you come on, man and a
- 8:58Speaker 1: lot of people out there going through much worse than
- 9:01Speaker 1: you have and have overcome it all. Why won't you
- 9:04Speaker 1: take the step to overcome your pass so you can
- 9:07Speaker 1: get on with driving your can see what God trying
- 9:09Speaker 1: to take you. But it's a trick of the enemy.
- 9:12Speaker 1: The enemy tricks you from seeing your future by having
- 9:16Speaker 1: you constantly looking in your pass. Man, it's a trick
- 9:19Speaker 1: of the devil. If the devil just lets you quit,
- 9:22Speaker 1: if he would just let you get to driving your car,
- 9:25Speaker 1: look out into your future. Your future shows hopefulness. You
- 9:31Speaker 1: have hope when you see the future. But he can
- 9:34Speaker 1: keep you in misery if he keep you looking at
- 9:36Speaker 1: your miserable pass. God looking for you, man, God would
- 9:41Speaker 1: love to hear from you. Let's spend some time talking
- 9:44Speaker 1: to God today. Hey, God, was happening. It's me. I
- 9:48Speaker 1: know I ain't talk to you in a while, but
- 9:50Speaker 1: feel bad about that, But I need you. He know
- 9:53Speaker 1: that everybody should say that prayer all the time. It's cool,
- 9:57Speaker 1: all right, SA show ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 10:06Speaker 1: truck driver, school teachers, emergency responds, people, nurses, the doctor
- 10:14Speaker 1: that misdiagnosed me to all my teachers who made the
- 10:21Speaker 1: contribution to attempting to educate me. I want to thank you.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I want to thank this is an acceptance. Miss Patterson
- 10:38Speaker 1: and Miss Blandon tried to convince me at an early
- 10:42Speaker 1: age that I wasn't gonna ever be enough. Thank you.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I want to thank the Morning Show crew for that
- 10:53Speaker 1: supporting due diligence over the years since two thousand and five.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I want to thank Shirley Strawberry, who's been with me
- 11:04Speaker 1: from the beginning. In the year two thousand, we're celebrating
- 11:10Speaker 1: twenty three years together. I want to thank Junior, who
- 11:15Speaker 1: has shown me through his resilience and for the two
- 11:20Speaker 1: that I too can survive anything. I want to thank
- 11:24Speaker 1: Mississippi Monica. But when I went bald, I thought and
- 11:29Speaker 1: I had a lot of forehead, and then I saw
- 11:31Speaker 1: hers with hell on it, and I went, I'm fine.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I want to thank NBC for letting me go to talk,
- 11:44Speaker 1: showing a little big shots at the same time you
- 11:49Speaker 1: push me into what I am now. I want to
- 11:54Speaker 1: thank ladies and gentlemen. I'm starting to Steve Harvey Morning
- 12:01Speaker 1: Show today with an acceptance speech of gratitude, and a
- 12:05Speaker 1: couple did because I'm human. I also want to thank
- 12:12Speaker 1: a person that you all know, but I can't tell
- 12:15Speaker 1: you who it was who called me last night and
- 12:18Speaker 1: required some counseling for fifty minutes. And after fifty minutes
- 12:23Speaker 1: of talking, he didn't hear a damn thing. I said.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I should have never answered that call. I'm asking the
- 12:36Speaker 1: Lord to reward me for that because I personally see
- 12:41Speaker 1: no value in picking up that call. They say, God
- 12:47Speaker 1: ways is high above the earth as the heavens. Obviously
- 12:52Speaker 1: that was one of them. I want to thank Calin
- 12:54Speaker 1: for real for representing all the derelict women out there.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Tie cutters and gas tank ruined us and when the
- 13:04Speaker 1: one shield busting, and I want to thank her for
- 13:09Speaker 1: the court case of walking in with the term allegedly.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, and most of all, is it
- 13:20Speaker 1: worths of snoop? I want to thank me. It's my favorite.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Welcome to the Steve Harvey morning. All right, thank you, Steve.
- 13:33Speaker 1: We think coming up at thirty after the hour. We

- 13:49Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back. What you
- 13:51Speaker 1: got for his nap and you know what she since
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's Tommy's time. Yeah, let me finish my acceptance speech
- 13:58Speaker 1: by thank you. I want to thank my nephew Tommy,
- 14:03Speaker 1: because before he was born, they thought I was the stupidest,
- 14:07Speaker 1: most ignorant person in the family. I want to say
- 14:10Speaker 1: thank you Lord, because now it's still he is the

- 19:06Speaker 1: Jared focus. There's a lot more going on here. But
- 19:09Speaker 1: once you're making now with me and all the game,
- 19:14Speaker 1: learning from each other. Why we do our thing, gonna
- 19:20Speaker 1: have a good time? What Jared, My patience is said? Up,
- 19:26Speaker 1: I have no more patience with you now. I need

- 20:06Speaker 1: on the radio as in on the radio, as in Tommy, Matthew, Tommy,
- 20:16Speaker 1: doctor Pat You have been Pike. You know you didn't go?
- 20:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, do you have a colleague named Charles?
- 20:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm gonna ki? Oh Lord that I

- 20:44Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something though. What is the baddest

- 21:05Speaker 1: listening to morning show coming up. At the top of
- 21:10Speaker 1: the hour, we'll talk to the US Surgeon General about
- 21:13Speaker 1: the new COVID variants and the importance of getting vaccinated
- 21:16Speaker 1: and boosted. We'll also talk about how COVID is affecting
- 21:20Speaker 1: mental health. And that's coming up. Like I said at
- 21:23Speaker 1: the top of the hour, but right now it is
- 21:25Speaker 1: time to ask the Chief Love Officer, the CLLO, Steve Harvey.
- 21:31Speaker 1: All right, here we go, Keena, and Tampa writes, I
- 21:34Speaker 1: will be thirty next month and my best friend is
- 21:36Speaker 1: a manager of a high end restaurant. I want to
- 21:40Speaker 1: have my dinner at her restaurant, and she said I
- 21:42Speaker 1: can have it, but there's no discount. She gives a
- 21:46Speaker 1: discount to others. So why is she refusing to help
- 21:49Speaker 1: me out? Well, I mean, why don't you going to
- 21:52Speaker 1: expected the discount? Yeah? See, y'all kill me with this. Man.
- 21:56Speaker 1: If y'all gonna support one another, why don't you all
- 21:59Speaker 1: support each other? Fool price. Every time somebody opened up
- 22:02Speaker 1: a business to get something going, you on a damn discount.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And how do you know she gives everybody else discount?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Maybe she don't like you her best friend. Wait, look
- 22:15Speaker 1: at you know, what have you done? You're always bragging
- 22:20Speaker 1: about what you got. You got a new bag every
- 22:22Speaker 1: time you round in all this fool price. It's pool
- 22:26Speaker 1: you can afford. If you can't afford it, don't go
- 22:28Speaker 1: eat there. Yeah, that's right, moving on to Cammy and Denver.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Cammy says, I'm married. I'm married, and my husband and
- 22:36Speaker 1: I fight about it a lot of small stuff. He
- 22:39Speaker 1: gets upset if I don't change the sheets every Friday.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I told him he's welcome to change them if I
- 22:44Speaker 1: don't get to it. He thinks he has to live
- 22:47Speaker 1: in housekeeper. Am I wrong for rebelling? No? Yeah, well
- 22:53Speaker 1: you heard it from Tommy like his aunts. Ain't never
- 22:56Speaker 1: been on the sheet mode in seven days? I don't
- 22:59Speaker 1: think so. I live by myself. I had a pair
- 23:02Speaker 1: of sheets on that so long? How many months, mister nasty?
- 23:13Speaker 1: I didn't even know you post change. I had never
- 23:17Speaker 1: changed one in my life before. I had seen my
- 23:20Speaker 1: mama do some stuff. I didn't even know where she
- 23:22Speaker 1: got the mother sheets from. I didn't even have another sheet,
- 23:28Speaker 1: so they so here time I came in, I was
- 23:31Speaker 1: sleeping parents. Nah, you know what he wants? The sheet
- 23:38Speaker 1: change he got? You know, Fellas, you cannot assume that
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's all on her. I wouldn't. It'd be great if
- 23:46Speaker 1: everybody had a signed roles and they agreed to the
- 23:49Speaker 1: signed role. But who gave her to change the sheet
- 23:53Speaker 1: every Friday role? That's right? That's right. She's not saying
- 23:56Speaker 1: Timmy not to change them, but she's saying you could
- 23:59Speaker 1: change him too. If I don't, I don't get to it. Yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 1: because this can happen. You ain't guys playing the little mister.
- 24:10Speaker 1: She needs to get into a routine. She'll got having
- 24:13Speaker 1: them damn hot flash and sweating on them sheets. Take
- 24:15Speaker 1: turn them, take them sheets off. Shut up, shut up?
- 24:20Speaker 1: And I asked the sheets. I know, y'all, you can
- 24:26Speaker 1: closet and change them all sleeping another spot, all right.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Moving on to Chavelle and Ferguson, Chavelle says, I'm married
- 24:38Speaker 1: and my husband and I don't have sex with each other.
- 24:41Speaker 1: He's got a side piece and I do too. I
- 24:44Speaker 1: like the arrangement because we live a great life and
- 24:46Speaker 1: we split the bills fifty fifty. My side piece wants
- 24:50Speaker 1: me to move out. Should I stay or go? What
- 24:55Speaker 1: I mean? You probably ought to just go on and
- 24:57Speaker 1: go because you over there anyway, My body is here
- 25:02Speaker 1: with you. This caused my mind on the other side. Ohoh,
- 25:12Speaker 1: messing you round, hey, junior. You ain't from that error
- 25:16Speaker 1: right there. I don't have one song, big dog. I
- 25:19Speaker 1: thought it was gave you my money, Yeah, asked me,
- 25:24Speaker 1: it works though, that's your song? Yes, you got what
- 25:31Speaker 1: kind of marriage? Tell you? Yeah? This is crazy? Can't
- 25:35Speaker 1: you might as well leave? What? Yeah? She said? She
- 25:39Speaker 1: she loves the arrangement. They have a great life. Wait
- 25:45Speaker 1: what taught me? As Brenda Dorn? Everybody rob But that's
- 25:55Speaker 1: just fun. You think you think water? Everybody? Everybody to
- 25:58Speaker 1: dinner this Friday, couples night, couples night. Double. No, I'm
- 26:08Speaker 1: just telling you now, when he gets over there, he
- 26:12Speaker 1: can't do nothing to you in my house. Oh there's
- 26:16Speaker 1: rules rules. Yeah, Oh he can come over here, won't you? Head?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Y'all got to caress Hill. Listen if Brenda Cook bring
- 26:28Speaker 1: me a plate. I'm not right, feel like I feel
- 26:37Speaker 1: like Steve. You're right, he's still stupid, stupid. No, no, no, no,
- 26:48Speaker 1: see I'm ignorant. He's stupid. Oh okay, I get it
- 26:54Speaker 1: right level there's yes, sir one before we go to
- 27:00Speaker 1: the national let me use his law. Mom ignorant baby, baby,
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm fitting to go out. Come on, Can I use
- 27:19Speaker 1: your perfume? I like the way that smell. I'm gonna
- 27:21Speaker 1: put it on her tonight. They're comfortable, comfortable, very comfortable.
- 27:35Speaker 1: You ain't okay, baby, Yeah, what is it? What? Baby? Don't? Baby?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Don't put that season and on the greens. Don't know
- 27:50Speaker 1: she don't like that on my breath. You took up late?
- 27:58Speaker 1: All right? Are we done? So I can move one?
- 28:04Speaker 1: I like? All right? One more? And they were moving
- 28:10Speaker 1: on one more. We're gonna put your condoms back. But
- 28:15Speaker 1: I had to take these right real quick. I didn't.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't hand on dang got deep. Yeah,
- 28:24Speaker 1: all right, now we're moving on. Maxie in Augusta says,
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm sixty nine years old and single. I've been married
- 28:32Speaker 1: four times and I want to get married again. I'm
- 28:36Speaker 1: in a small community of men, and so that means
- 28:39Speaker 1: I may end up dating friends or relatives of my
- 28:42Speaker 1: exes sometime older. Now, Ken, can't you know? Can I
- 28:46Speaker 1: date whoever I want to date? Maxie, listen to me.
- 28:50Speaker 1: You can do like you want to do. But I've
- 28:52Speaker 1: shot number five. I think that slim to none person.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You don't shot all the shot by time? Four? Well
- 29:03Speaker 1: four won't five? You know, small community, you didn't date
- 29:08Speaker 1: everybody in the age bracket. You're gonna to date one
- 29:10Speaker 1: of them's child's gone to date one of these. I
- 29:14Speaker 1: don't know what community you live. Got a bunch of
- 29:16Speaker 1: available stempnagy old people coming up at the top of
- 29:23Speaker 1: the hour, special guests doctor Vivic Murphy, the US Surgeon General,
- 29:28Speaker 1: to talk to us about the new COVID variants. Right
- 29:30Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Day Morning Show. Everybody. We
- 29:37Speaker 1: got a special guest this morning who happens to be
- 29:40Speaker 1: the twenty first Surgeon General of the United States, and
- 29:44Speaker 1: we got him on this morning, uh, to talk to
- 29:46Speaker 1: everybody to stress the importance of remaining cautious about COVID nineteen.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Now he's gonna tell us a little bit about the
- 29:54Speaker 1: new COVID variants and how they impact us. Talk about
- 29:58Speaker 1: getting vaccinated and boosted are still important as we continue
- 30:01Speaker 1: to fight this disease. Let's hear from an expert on
- 30:04Speaker 1: all of this. Please welcome Surgeon General, doctor Vivic Murphy. Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 1: that's right, Sorry about that, hey man. Listen. Pandemic fatigue.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That's a real thing. They just over it, sick and
- 30:21Speaker 1: tired of it, don't want to be in it no more.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And we basically returned. But the business as usual in
- 30:27Speaker 1: the United States. Why is it important for us to
- 30:29Speaker 1: steal keep it out on this COVID nineteen Well, see listen,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I understand pandemic fatigue. It's real. A lot of us
- 30:36Speaker 1: are feeling it because thing anyone's been spared of it.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It's been about three years, right that we've been going
- 30:41Speaker 1: through this pandemic. So I think it's absolutely understandable if
- 30:44Speaker 1: you're feeling tired and worn out. But there is good
- 30:47Speaker 1: news I want people to know about and the COVID front,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and that is that we've made a tremendous amount of progress,
- 30:53Speaker 1: even though COVID is still with us, even though we've
- 30:56Speaker 1: got to take some cautions, and we'll talk about what
- 30:58Speaker 1: those are, big progress. You can actually see that in
- 31:01Speaker 1: the last few months. Keep just in the last two
- 31:03Speaker 1: winners we had, we saw significant increases in COVID cases.
- 31:09Speaker 1: More people were hospitalized, a lot more people were dying
- 31:11Speaker 1: from COVID. But look at what's been happening this weekend
- 31:14Speaker 1: this winter. Even though we saw an increase in infections
- 31:17Speaker 1: and hospitalizations earlier in the winter, we aren't seeing anywhere
- 31:20Speaker 1: near the kind of big waves of hospitalizations and depths
- 31:23Speaker 1: so we saw the last couple of years. And there's
- 31:26Speaker 1: a reason for that. It's because we've built more and
- 31:28Speaker 1: more protection in the population as a result of people
- 31:31Speaker 1: getting vaccinated and people actually even having prior infection. So
- 31:35Speaker 1: the goal is to maintain and expand that protection. That
- 31:38Speaker 1: making sure people stay up to date with their vaccines.
- 31:42Speaker 1: And that's one of the most important things that I
- 31:44Speaker 1: want to convey because we've gotten about fifty million people
- 31:46Speaker 1: who've gotten their updated vaccine, but many have not. And
- 31:50Speaker 1: this is especially important for seniors because right now, ninety
- 31:53Speaker 1: percent of the people who are dying from COVID in
- 31:56Speaker 1: our country are seniors. So if you're sixty five and up,
- 32:00Speaker 1: got somebody in your family who's sixty five and now,
- 32:03Speaker 1: please remind them to go to vaccines, find a location
- 32:06Speaker 1: to get that updated vaccine. You mean to tell me,
- 32:10Speaker 1: yes that my last birthday, I am now seeing you
- 32:15Speaker 1: six that you surprise the hell out of me because
- 32:19Speaker 1: I never even really thought about myself like that. Well,
- 32:22Speaker 1: you're you know, age is a concept in you're young,
- 32:24Speaker 1: sixty sixty, I wouldn't worry, but but just may make
- 32:27Speaker 1: sure you're up to date with your vaccine. But listen,
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's important for people to get these boosters. That's that's
- 32:32Speaker 1: what you're saying. Absolutely yeah, And look, I know we
- 32:36Speaker 1: all want to get back to living our life and
- 32:38Speaker 1: not worrying too much about this, about this virus. And
- 32:41Speaker 1: the good news is if you get if you're up
- 32:43Speaker 1: to date with your vaccine, that's one way of making
- 32:46Speaker 1: sure you can let that go about your life and
- 32:48Speaker 1: not worry that you know you're going to end up
- 32:50Speaker 1: you know, in the hospital or die because of this
- 32:52Speaker 1: you know of this virus, and I just want to
- 32:55Speaker 1: remind people to what the goal of the vaccine, and
- 32:57Speaker 1: the goal of the vaccine is to save your life
- 32:59Speaker 1: and keep you as a hospital. You might still get
- 33:01Speaker 1: a mild infection if you get vaccinated, but your chances
- 33:04Speaker 1: of getting seriously ill are much much lower. And if
- 33:08Speaker 1: you're in a higher risk category either because you're older
- 33:10Speaker 1: or you have other medical conditions. Is one more thing
- 33:12Speaker 1: you should do, which is you should reach for treatment
- 33:16Speaker 1: if you do, in fact get infected. There's a treatment
- 33:18Speaker 1: called Packslavid that you may have heard of. It reduces
- 33:21Speaker 1: your chances even further of ending up in the hospital
- 33:24Speaker 1: or die if you get COVID and you can say
- 33:26Speaker 1: the medication is called packs Livid, and it's something you
- 33:32Speaker 1: can get for free at covid dot com. You can
- 33:35Speaker 1: find places where you can get it. You can also
- 33:37Speaker 1: talk to your doctor about how to get that treatment
- 33:39Speaker 1: from a pharmacy free. Now is this as a preventive
- 33:44Speaker 1: or this is it if you come down with covid?
- 33:47Speaker 1: So the medicine is if you actually come down with covid.
- 33:49Speaker 1: The vaccine is the prevention. Okay, So for those that
- 33:54Speaker 1: get COVID, there is a medicine out there, pav that
- 33:58Speaker 1: you can that's right, paxilvient, and it's for people who
- 34:02Speaker 1: are in a higher risk category. Either that means they're
- 34:04Speaker 1: either older or they've got multiple other medical conditions like
- 34:09Speaker 1: diabetes or high blood pressure that may put them in
- 34:11Speaker 1: a higher risk for complications. That's really great, man, because
- 34:17Speaker 1: now there's something that people can be proactive about. So
- 34:21Speaker 1: we want to look at out vaccines and booster shots
- 34:25Speaker 1: as a preventive. And now they have a medicine called
- 34:31Speaker 1: that is if you get it, it can reduce the
- 34:34Speaker 1: symptoms and save lives. Yes, that's right. And just remember
- 34:38Speaker 1: you don't have to remember any of these names. All
- 34:40Speaker 1: you have to remember is covid dot com. You go
- 34:42Speaker 1: to that website, it'll give you the names of the medicine,
- 34:45Speaker 1: help you figure out where to get them, help you
- 34:47Speaker 1: figure out where to get vaccinated. Until you'll be all set.
- 34:50Speaker 1: You can. I mention one other thing about these variants
- 34:53Speaker 1: because I know a lot of people have been hearing
- 34:54Speaker 1: about them. So if you're reading the news, you may
- 34:58Speaker 1: have heard about new variants that are popping up. These
- 35:00Speaker 1: are different versions of COVID nineteen, you know, because the
- 35:03Speaker 1: virus is always mutating. There's one that's been in the
- 35:06Speaker 1: news recently called x dB one point five. They have
- 35:09Speaker 1: all kinds of different like alphabet soup names. But here's
- 35:12Speaker 1: the thing that we just need to remember. You don't
- 35:14Speaker 1: need to remember the names of these variants. You just
- 35:16Speaker 1: need to know the virus is going to continue to evolve.
- 35:18Speaker 1: It it's doing its thing. But the good news is
- 35:21Speaker 1: that throughout this pandemic, even despite the virus evolving, we've
- 35:24Speaker 1: seen that our vaccines continue to be effective or reducing
- 35:28Speaker 1: the likelihoods that you'll get to your c ill even
- 35:30Speaker 1: if you get COVID and the medication that I mentioned, paxil,
- 35:34Speaker 1: it also continues to be effective. So the bottom line is,
- 35:38Speaker 1: you know, yes, there will be new variants. Sure, it's fine.
- 35:41Speaker 1: To read about them, pay attention to them. But if
- 35:43Speaker 1: you just want to focus on what you need to do.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Remember to stay up to date with your vaccines. And
- 35:48Speaker 1: if you do get sick and you're in a higher
- 35:50Speaker 1: risk category, talk to your doctor. Go to covid dot
- 35:52Speaker 1: com about to see what treatments you can get, because
- 35:55Speaker 1: they are medications like packs of it that can help.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Doctor was very special Surgeon General, Doctor Vivic Murphy. It's
- 36:03Speaker 1: our special guest. Thank you for this information. I learned
- 36:06Speaker 1: something new. We're gonna play it again for our listeners
- 36:09Speaker 1: throughout the week. Thank you, sir. Keep up the good
- 36:12Speaker 1: work and appreciate the information. All right, Thank you so much.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Steve bless human. Do you take care? Thank you, brother,
- 36:18Speaker 1: you're listening all right. So, sportscaster Stephen A. Smith, I'm
- 36:25Speaker 1: sure you guys have heard about this, was on the
- 36:27Speaker 1: Sherry Shepherd Show earlier this week and Sherry asked him
- 36:30Speaker 1: about Rihanna performing at the Super Bowl at halftime. Stephen A.
- 36:36Speaker 1: O Chat his answer. I just gotta say it was
- 36:45Speaker 1: so stupid, so ridiculous, so dumb. He said. Rihanna was great,
- 36:50Speaker 1: she's a great performer, all of that, but there's one
- 36:53Speaker 1: thing she's not, Sherry said, what she's not Beyonce. He
- 36:58Speaker 1: shut the room down with that. How do you what?
- 37:01Speaker 1: There's what? What are you doing? Stephen ain't. You can't
- 37:05Speaker 1: compare those two. They're two different, two different people, two
- 37:08Speaker 1: different styles, two different everything, and both great. I love.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I want to apologize for fast me and on behalf
- 37:19Speaker 1: of us, on behalf of us who have big ass minds,
- 37:25Speaker 1: the three of the I blurted some stuff out, but
- 37:31Speaker 1: I've never measured it like that before, put it into
- 37:35Speaker 1: measuring cup waiting. Hope it stirred it up being served it.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Most of mine has been like right off the top
- 37:45Speaker 1: of my head, I didn't like, well think that, no mouth.
- 37:53Speaker 1: You know, look, man, it's nothing that can cause him
- 37:56Speaker 1: to be canceled anything. So I'm glad about that, you know.
- 38:00Speaker 1: And and for people talking about that, yeah, that's ridiculous.
- 38:03Speaker 1: You can't cancel a man for stuff like that. It
- 38:06Speaker 1: was probably and I was ventured to say, because I
- 38:10Speaker 1: know Stephen. I think his sisters called him, said because
- 38:16Speaker 1: his sisters be looking out for Stephen as sisters and
- 38:19Speaker 1: some really really good women. Man. Yeah, I love, we
- 38:24Speaker 1: love him. Yeah, he loves and he loves him too. Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 1: what did your ask just say? Because see, I got
- 38:30Speaker 1: a big sister Mona. It's the only one outside of
- 38:36Speaker 1: Marjorie that can make me do something. My big sister Mona,
- 38:41Speaker 1: she the only one. I mean. I got really mad
- 38:45Speaker 1: at stephen A when he said that. I was just like,
- 38:47Speaker 1: come on, stephen Ay, love you for that. Man, we
- 38:50Speaker 1: love you. You don't do that. Don't do that. But
- 38:53Speaker 1: and in his defense, stephen A did uh is shoeing apology?
- 38:57Speaker 1: M he did? He did shooting. And I forgive him Trianna,
- 39:03Speaker 1: Trianna for saying that. He did. He need you to
- 39:08Speaker 1: say anything, Steven say, I love you man, you need
- 39:10Speaker 1: a crisis management public. I don't think he thought it
- 39:18Speaker 1: was kind of go you don't like him how to apologize?
- 39:22Speaker 1: Oh you didn't like how he apologized. I like that
- 39:26Speaker 1: he did try to clear it up. In the words
- 39:28Speaker 1: of Tom Hanks, this too shell pain. Yeah, hang it
- 39:32Speaker 1: all right. Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:36Speaker 1: Roscoe Wallace is in the building right after this. You're
- 39:40Speaker 1: listening to show well Roscoe is here, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 39:50Speaker 1: stay you. You ain't gonna tell him, M. He ain't

- 40:11Speaker 1: Hey Roscoe while he wrote what you man heard? You

- 40:32Speaker 1: you know, Roscoe, the Grammys this year are going like
- 40:37Speaker 1: excellence in music. Okay, thank you? Uh well, wait a minute,
- 40:43Speaker 1: you think the whole show was about you? When you
- 40:45Speaker 1: said thank you, didn't you just say they're going on
- 40:48Speaker 1: a black answer? I did? I did? I did say that, Yes,
- 40:52Speaker 1: yes I did. And I'm both black and excellent. Can't argue?
- 41:00Speaker 1: Go ahead and go ahead. And they're planning. They're planning
- 41:03Speaker 1: on saluting Missy Elliott, doctor Dre and little Wayne. They're
- 41:07Speaker 1: gonna each receiver recording Academy Global Impact for War. And
- 41:12Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you have they contacted you? Are
- 41:14Speaker 1: you in no waste your time? Though? Missy Elliott? Uh huh?
- 41:19Speaker 1: Doctor Wayne and Lou Wayne now I don't tell you what. Now,
- 41:24Speaker 1: I don't tell you what. And lou Wayne kind of
- 41:27Speaker 1: surprised me. You don't he could be rolled all the
- 41:31Speaker 1: way up to be the iconic level. Uh huh. And
- 41:35Speaker 1: I didn't. I ain't. I ain't even know what are
- 41:37Speaker 1: you telling about? You know? I knew a grandfather though,
- 41:44Speaker 1: And what was his name? John Wayne? Yeah, you didn't
- 41:49Speaker 1: know that, dude. That set everybody well crazy because y'all
- 41:55Speaker 1: ain't know John Wayne. See that what she? Okay, here
- 42:01Speaker 1: we go a little bit. John Wayne had a lady
- 42:05Speaker 1: that worked for him, okay, but they ended up falling
- 42:10Speaker 1: in love, and he had his twelfth marriage uh huh okay,

- 54:27Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Thank you Nephew. Subject fakestar with groupie tendencies. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:36Speaker 1: My husband thinks he has his own talk show and
- 54:39Speaker 1: he's a groupie when it comes to local celebrities. He's
- 54:42Speaker 1: got a podcast with a lady that was on a
- 54:44Speaker 1: ghetto reality show back in the day. She's got connections
- 54:47Speaker 1: with local artists and she gets them tickets to shows
- 54:51Speaker 1: so they can interview people at the show, but they
- 54:54Speaker 1: never get interviews. People just walk right past them. I
- 54:57Speaker 1: get so tickled when he gets disappointed because he has
- 55:00Speaker 1: put his little podcast over me and the baby. When
- 55:04Speaker 1: we go out, he passes out business cards and claims
- 55:07Speaker 1: to be looking for the next big star to feature
- 55:09Speaker 1: on his quote unquote talk show to help them blow up.
- 55:13Speaker 1: The only thing that's blown up is his ego. The
- 55:16Speaker 1: final straw was when he had me chasing behind a
- 55:19Speaker 1: sprinter van because he thought a rapper was in the van.
- 55:23Speaker 1: He said he had to get the interview with him,
- 55:25Speaker 1: even if it was on his phone. We followed the
- 55:28Speaker 1: van to a restaurant and there was a group of
- 55:30Speaker 1: white teenagers in it, headed to a sweet sixteen birthday dinner.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed for him, but he didn't stop.
- 55:39Speaker 1: He had me drive back to the venue where the
- 55:41Speaker 1: concert was, and I had to flirt with the security
- 55:44Speaker 1: guard to get behind the building to see if all
- 55:47Speaker 1: the artists were still in the building. Everyone was gone,
- 55:50Speaker 1: and he got mad at me. I told him he's
- 55:53Speaker 1: a groupie. He doesn't have to he doesn't have a
- 55:56Speaker 1: talk show, and he needs to get a real job.
- 55:58Speaker 1: I'm a nurse and it's hard to pull the weight
- 56:01Speaker 1: of the family and support his raggedy dream of having
- 56:03Speaker 1: a talk show. I'm not a dream killer by any means,
- 56:07Speaker 1: but he's not celebrity material. I want all these lights
- 56:10Speaker 1: and cameras out of my guest room, and I'm tired
- 56:13Speaker 1: of this little, fake reality star coming to my house.
- 56:17Speaker 1: How do I get this thirty seven year old man
- 56:21Speaker 1: to be realistic? Well, to him, I'm sure this is reality.
- 56:28Speaker 1: To him, this is what he wants to do. This
- 56:30Speaker 1: is his dream, and who are you to tell him
- 56:33Speaker 1: he's not gonna make it. I mean, you say you're
- 56:35Speaker 1: not a dream killer, but I think you are a
- 56:38Speaker 1: dream killer. And this doesn't sound good at all. I
- 56:41Speaker 1: got to ask you, what is your problem? I mean,
- 56:43Speaker 1: you don't believe in your husband. You don't approve of
- 56:46Speaker 1: what he's trying to do professionally. That's it. That's what
- 56:49Speaker 1: it all boils down to. I think the question is why.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I mean, he's hustling, trying to make something happen, but
- 56:55Speaker 1: you don't like his method and your judgmental saying things
- 56:59Speaker 1: like his little podcast, his post was a ghetto reality star,
- 57:04Speaker 1: his raggedy dream. Those things are not helpful. If you
- 57:07Speaker 1: want him to spend more time with you and the baby,
- 57:10Speaker 1: why don't you talk to him about that? All right,
- 57:13Speaker 1: that's what you need to be focusing on instead of
- 57:16Speaker 1: complaining and putting his dream down. You got to support him.
- 57:19Speaker 1: At least he's trying to make something happen. If you
- 57:22Speaker 1: think he's going about it the wrong way, you gotta
- 57:25Speaker 1: let him know that maybe he and this co worker
- 57:28Speaker 1: can get a better strategy to get guests instead of
- 57:30Speaker 1: chasing them in the sprinter and all of that. Everyone
- 57:33Speaker 1: has a podcast these days, and some are really good
- 57:36Speaker 1: and they get great guests. Is you know this can happen?
- 57:40Speaker 1: It can? You are a nurse, so you're set as
- 57:43Speaker 1: far as your career goes. You know, you know where
- 57:45Speaker 1: you're gonna work and all of that. But your husband
- 57:48Speaker 1: is grinding right now. I say, yes, you are right.
- 57:50Speaker 1: He does need to bring some money into the household,
- 57:53Speaker 1: of course, so he should start looking for a job,
- 57:57Speaker 1: a real job, you know, maybe a nine to five,
- 58:00Speaker 1: and then work on his podcast, his podcast part time.
- 58:03Speaker 1: That way he won't be abandoning his dream and at
- 58:06Speaker 1: the same time he can start helping out financially and
- 58:09Speaker 1: stop being so negative, be supportive. You guys can work
- 58:12Speaker 1: this out. Steve, Oh, I read a different letter. I'm sorry.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I apologize to the people out there is about to
- 58:24Speaker 1: hear what I'm about to say because by myself being
- 58:28Speaker 1: known as a motivational speaker, people who inspire people. And
- 58:33Speaker 1: Shirley said that you're being a dream killer, and I
- 58:37Speaker 1: guess you can be labeled as that young lady writing
- 58:40Speaker 1: this letter. But I want them introduce what you're saying
- 58:45Speaker 1: from a different angle. I don't want to be a
- 58:49Speaker 1: dream killing, but I am going to be a truth teller.
- 58:57Speaker 1: So I'm gonna say say it. And every time I said,
- 59:01Speaker 1: I want y'all to say, tell the truth, Steve, So
- 59:04Speaker 1: let's practice say it. Tell the truth. Tru. Okay, here
- 59:10Speaker 1: we go, fake star with group of tennis my husband
- 59:15Speaker 1: thinks he has his own talk show and he's a
- 59:18Speaker 1: groupie when it comes to local celebrities. Well, now I
- 59:25Speaker 1: see that all the time. Now tell it, Tell tell
- 59:32Speaker 1: the truth, Steve. Okay, I forgot what my que was.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I say tell it. Yeah, I forgot my own cue.
- 59:40Speaker 1: That's why y'all was looking every cray Say it, tell
- 59:44Speaker 1: the truth. See he's got a podcast with a lady
- 59:48Speaker 1: that has to get on reality show. Back in the day,
- 59:51Speaker 1: say it most back in the day, people don't make
- 59:57Speaker 1: it in the new day, say it, Tell tell the truth, Steve.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: She got connections with local artists, and she gets some
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: tickets to the show so they can interview people at
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: the show, but they never get interviews. Tell tell the truth,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Say it, and it's say it, Tell the truth. See
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: all right, and I come back. I'm on the direct
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: opposite of shilling Strawberry on this letter, So get ready,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: we gotta PROCs too. All right, Coming up in twenty
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, we'll have for two of
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Steve's response to fake star with groupie tendencies that is
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: the subject of today's Strawberry letter. Right after this, you're listening,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is fake star with
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: groupie tendencies. Shirley has pronounced in this letter that her
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: the woman that's being a dream killer, which can be
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: looked at it that way if you view it from
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her take. So I decided not to be a dream killer,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: but the truth telling. I will read this letter when
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I'm telling the truth. I'm gonna say say it, and
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the group will say, tell the truth? Steve, Are you
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: sure now? Because I wrote it? I wrote it on
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: a commercial break. Okay, Okay. My husband thinks he got
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: his own talk show. He's a grouping when it comes
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to local celebrities. Yeah, that's called Instagram right now in
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Facebook Live, say it? Come on now. He got a
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: podcast with a lady on the Get On reality show
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: back in the day. Most people that was on back
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: in the day don't make it in the new day.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Say it tell she got connections with local artists and
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: she gets some tickets to show so they can interview
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: people that show, but they never get an interviewed. Come
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: don't nobody know? They ass say it? Tru People just
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: walk right past him because don't nobody know the assay
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: it tell. I got so ticker when he gets disappointed
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: because he didn't put the business I he didn't put
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: our business card and claims to be looking for the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: next fixed star to feature on his talk show to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: help them blow up. The only thing that blows up
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: is his ego because the only person that think he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: is star material is hisself. Hey tell the truth true See.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: It kills me because what people don't understand is you
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: can't make yourself a star. That is up to the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: people and not you. The final straw was when he
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: had me chase behind a sprinter van because he thought
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: a rapper was in the van. He said he had
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to get the interview with him, even if it was
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: on his phone. We followed the van to a restaurant
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: that was a group of white teenagers in the headed
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: to a sweet sixteen birthday party. I was so ambassed
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: for him, but he didn't stop. Hear me drive back
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to the venue when the concert was and I had
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: to flirt with the security. Okay, so now he usual
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you asked bait see man, now dog you to drug
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: your wife down in the dark ass rabbit hole, and
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: now and now you got her helping you with a
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: dream that that is not reality base Say it. I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: had to flirt with security to get behind the building
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: and see if all the artists were still in the building.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Everybody was gone. He got mad at me. I told
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: him he was a group Say it. He don't have
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: a talk show. He needed to get a real job.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Yes he does. This is not how you have a
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: talk show. How howny people think nobody got a talk
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: show like this. These podcasts. Everybody got podcasts. Very few
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: people are making money on their podcast not saying it's
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: not doable, not not saying it's not a fun thing
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: for people to go out and do you want to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: get a podcast? Man? I salute you do your thing,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: but let's understand it, be be real about it. If
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: you ain't got the advertising dollars to put behind people
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: tuning in and knowing who you are, you're wasting your time.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Said he that says it's hard for him to pull
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: the weight in this family. I'm a nurse trying to
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: support his raggedy dream of having to talk showing the
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: handle damn talk show? Do nobody know his ass? Said?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I'm not a dream killer by any means, but he's
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: not celebrity material. Now his wife has been married to him.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: She knows she's not mad to a celebrity. She's married
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: to the he delivered pepsick. What's his name? Probably probably
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: got a real name that don't say celebrity at all,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: like since he round thirty seventy, Probably name Demetris, like
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Demetris something like that. You know, he got a young name,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: so you know, ain't I ever heard no talks your
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: name to meet anybody? Never heard of that. And she says,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: but he's just not celebrity material. She knows she lived
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: with it. He can't get no interviews. He changed man
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: with the little white kids in He should have interviewed
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: the white kids. So whose birthday is it? He's been
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: better on. I want all these lights and cameras out
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: of my guest room and I'm tired of his little
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: fake reality start coming to my house. How do I
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: get this thirty seven year old man to be realistic? Well?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Sad to tell you this, but Instagram and Facebook watch
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: live has created all these people. It gives people an opportunity.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Man like I don't. I watched Instagram a lot, and
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: you know, people come Man, there's some funny stuff on Instagram. Yeah,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: but you know how hard it is to find. You
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: know how much stuff you got to really scroll through,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: you know how many takes they did to give you
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: that funny moment. That's the danger of it. And then
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you get a few clicks. If you are nobody and
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you get two hundred views or you think your asses it,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: two hundred views can't make you a damn dollar in
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: this country. Two hundred views your asses off TV the
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: next morning. So that's the reality of it, man. And
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: there's so many options out there to choose from now.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: TV station networks is dying trying to come up with
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: content that they've all created, content creators. It's just hard
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: to get noticed on a podcast, and your ass don't
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: have to get in fact, by leave us your comments
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter, you're gonna be them, Okay, and
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up

- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you ain't ever seen this bit? Fall? Let it turn
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: get a whole look already. You don't recognize this. You
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: don't know what this pivot. The whole suit is made
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: out of coffee made labels. Okay, okay to the last
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: year man. We got the New York Jazz in the
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles. Pepper. Then you know last week Jazz was
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: only you picked the show did ain't happening this week?
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Nice dream, but the nightmare is coming out of Philly.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I hate to tell you that. Here come damn Egos.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Ok huh, okay, here we go, Pippot. You make me

- 1:09:42Speaker 1: and cheese. Don't life run Jaguar and Pippot last game,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Cowboys for the night. Let's talk to pimp. Come on,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Dot Prescott. I don't wrmly pull for the Cowboys, but
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I am pulling for him boys this trip because I
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: love Dak Prescott. I shan't want him to win. So
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: we can shut stevensmill mouse. So be Quine, you need
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: to quit. You I have an opinion. We'll have more
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Reality starring
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: businessman Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie are in prison now.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Todd was sentenced to twelve years and Julie was sentenced
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: to seven years. On Tuesday, Todd reported to a federal
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: prison camp in Pensacola, Florida. It's a minimum security prison.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: We all know how fashionable Todd was in his designer
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: clothes and everything, but nope, not anymore. According to TMZ,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: he now wears green pants, green shirts, white socks, and
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: black steel toad boots. They got steel toes. Yeah, he
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: has a strict daily huh, steel toe boots. Yeah. Jail
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: huh yes, new jail right, I ain't never heard of. Man.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: They give you the paper slippers in and then because
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: to anything, well, you can't be kicking nobody. Well minimum, yeah,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: they're a minimum Yeah remember that. I only know, well,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I know, somebody shut up. I was gonna say, I
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: don't know. No, yea, he has a strict daily schedule.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Todd does that begins at four forty five am. Wow?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: He gets up with us. Meanwhile, Julie, his wife, reported
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: to a federal medical center in Lexington, Kentucky. According to
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: the facility's website, it's a medical center with an adjacent
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: minimum security camp. Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer back
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: in two thousand and twelve. She had a double missectomy,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: but in March of last year, she said celebrated a
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: decade of being cancer free. So we hope she's okay physically.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: And Todd and Julie are serving time for their convictions
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: in their bank fraud and tax evasion case. Man, you
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: know what, man, I really hate that for them because
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I really like Todd man, cool dude man, always supportive. Yeah,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: it's just a really really cool dude. Man, I really
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: hate that for them. I don't really even understand what
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: all they did. I really don't. I can't get a
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: clear beat of anybody telling me exactly what they did.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: But when they get you on charges like this, man,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: they roll you up, they roll you up, and you
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: know it had to be something concrete, because first of all,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: they a white couple, and when when they send white
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: couples off, brother, you've done something pretty pretty extensive for them.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: To do that nineteen years a combined prisoner husband and
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: wife that even wistless, nipe sat damn y'all got sometime
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: because for the Yeah, yeah, she's right there. That's that's
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: why we can keep him out of a lot of
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: heavy to because you noticed, you notice we didn't let
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: him talk to the surgeon general what he called it earlier. Yeah,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: because you know, we just protect ourselves. Yeah, same case.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: You know, he reached over that bag or stupid without
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: something we didn't know about. Yeah, to bring Wesley into this,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: uh that boy boy. Yeah, and then you know what
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: their daughter, Savannah Chris Lely, So she was upset because
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: another reality star from Salt Lake City, jin Shaw, just yeah,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: she just got sentenced to six point fix yes, in
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: prison for tax fraud and all of her skin frauding
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: elder the elderly. Yeah, and so Savannah was saying, why
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: did her parents sentence is lengthier compared to jen Shaw,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: who only got six point five years, But jen Shaw
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: said she was guilty. She admitted to being guilty, so
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: maybe that's why she got lesser time versus the Christlis
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: keeps saying that they're innocent. You know, she was a
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: fraud in the elderly. But when you defrauding the bank
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: out of thirty million, I think your ass gonna get
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: a longer sentence. I think, yeah, yeah, that was in Atlanta, right,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: and those banks were I don't you know, man, I
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: just don't. Look. I understand people this in this tech
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: savvy world computers and everything now, it's too much cross
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: reference and can get done. Man. Look, instead of trying
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: to be slick, just do it the legal way. I would.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, man, I'd rather make a
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: hundred thousand and be free than ten million and be
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: locked up. Yeah. Freedom, Oh I can make that other word. Dog,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I'd rather make ten thousand free, yes, sir, that a
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: million locked up? I'm not that ain't all right? We'll
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up

- 1:17:46Speaker 1: hit your toe in the middle of the night or
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: would you rather fight your tongue while you're eating in
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: the middle that toe in the middle of the night
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: and tan of everything in the room? I'm cool, that's

- 1:18:42Speaker 1: When you stubbed your toe, you hollow. You cut, rake

- 1:21:53Speaker 1: women eliminate the men, men eliminate the women, and it
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: dwindles down to six people left, three couples who have
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: hopefully found love. That's the prize. The prize of love
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: ain't a million dollars, none of that. The prize is love.

- 1:22:27Speaker 1: a bang and you're gonna have to cut this damn bang,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: and you got a side lace going on, you're gonna
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: have to do. It's too many you get when you're
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: in three hound cuts at one time. Yeah, yeah, you
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: got a ponytail in the back and then you got
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: this thing dangling in the front. But you're a nice guy.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: He's really, he really is a good guy. He's nice,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: a nice Send me a picture of him a little.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Sometimes ladies are beautiful, gorgeous women. A girl on the
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: she's young. She reminds me of a young Dyane Carol.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Y'all know exactly what you wan I'm talking about me.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: See her name is Jeffrey, Oh Jeffrey. Yes, I know
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: who Jeffrey is. Yes, us me of a young Dyane Carol.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Let me see. I'm gonna send it to y'all. Right, Yeah,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: but I can't wait. I can't wait tonight. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: get all caught up if you haven't, because it's good. Well,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you know what, before we get out of here, I
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: want to be able to say something to married people
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: out there. Oh look, man, uh, marriage I've been taught
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: is a choice. You have to decide to be married.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: All marriages go through some changes. Nothing stays the same.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: All relationships change, nothing stays the same. Your relationship with
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: your parents changed and evolved into something else as you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: got older. Your relationship with your children will evolve into
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: something else as they get older. You can't treat them
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: the way you used to, and you can't make them
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: do what you used to be able to make them do.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Everything changes, and that's the same thing in marriage. Man,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: It's such an evolving thing. And the key that I
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: found is constant communication. And even with communication, it's still
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: going to be a challenge. It's still going to be
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: a challenge. So everybody out there, man, just buckle up,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: because this is what it is. It is a series
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: of changes. It is a series of adjustments, a series
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: of compromise. If you're not willing to change or just
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: or compromise, marriage is going to be troubled. It ain't
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: no well you used to do this, and you used
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: to that. Yeah, yeah, well she don't know and he
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: don't know more. There's been a change. But now remember
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: the person that's always accusing the person of changing. You
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: got to realize that you've changed too. It's just that
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: we don't notice the change in ourselves, but we're really
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: quick to notice to change in somebody else. Everybody changes. Man,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: in this thing, the person you married thirty years ago
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: is not the person today. It is not the same
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: person today. They can't be and it ain't the fault.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: It's just the nature of life. Everything changes, nothing remains
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: the same. You didn't marry the word of God. The
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Word of God is the only thing that has stayed
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: consistently the same throughout time. That word is the word.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: That's it. People change, all people change. All changes ain't bad.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Maybe sometimes when you're mad at your spouse has changed,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: it's because you keep expecting the same. Maybe you need
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: to do some change in yourself, some adjusting, some compromising.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: That's what it is, man, That's what it is all
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: the time. Look, mine ain't no different from nobody else.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: We have conflicting moments, we have struggles, we have challenging,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: we have adjustment periods that we got to go through.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I got to realize that this woman has changed and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: going through something. I've changed, going through something. Everybody changing
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: and going through something. Prepare yourself. Hold on now, if
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: you've done the best you can and you can't do
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: no more. Y'all got decisions to make, Go to counsel
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: and do whatever you want to do. But I gotta
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: tell you, man, all good things are worth fighting for.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: At least you know. You have to know at the
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: end of the day, you gave it, you all in.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: You put up a good fight. Keep fighting, y'all, it
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: could be worth it. Don't let the devil fool you.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: He's busy. Y'all, have a great day. Those in my
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: clothes remarks God, will we see y'all Monday morning. Man.
