- 0:49Speaker 3: big time. I'll have that for you in just a moment. Also,
- 0:53Speaker 3: in a story that no one's talking about, the federal
- 0:56Speaker 3: government is now fighting hundreds of thousands of dead people
- 1:01Speaker 3: on voter rolls around the country. Why are they still
- 1:04Speaker 3: on the list, and why are Democrats doing everything they
- 1:06Speaker 3: can to protect dead people to vote Operation Overlord The

- 2:08Speaker 3: dialed text message from my Heart Media. It's a forty
- 2:11Speaker 3: seven morning update. And it starts right now.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:15Speaker 3: It is a disaster. The media went all in on
- 2:19Speaker 3: a story that we now know is a total lie.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Senator Tom Cotton coming out on Meet the Press and
- 2:27Speaker 3: saying that everyone on the drug boat was a valid target.
- 2:32Speaker 3: The Washington Post now being accused of slandering the military
- 2:37Speaker 3: now only reminds you about the backstory of this story.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Two weeks before this story broke, you had Democrats in
- 2:43Speaker 3: the House and the Senate come together and encourage an
- 2:47Speaker 3: insurrection against the president from military leaders encourage a coup,
- 2:52Speaker 3: telling them to defy orders of the president. Clearly in
- 2:55Speaker 3: reference to the attacks on the narco terrorists running drugs
- 2:59Speaker 3: to a America in the middle of the ocean. We
- 3:02Speaker 3: know that the number one killer of people under the
- 3:05Speaker 3: age of forty in this country is fetanyl and we
- 3:07Speaker 3: know that hundreds of Americans are killed every single day
- 3:12Speaker 3: by accidental overdoses from drugs laced with fetanel Well, on
- 3:18Speaker 3: Sunday on Meet the Press, Tom Cotton of Arkansas said
- 3:22Speaker 3: that all the people on a Venezuelan drug boat were
- 3:25Speaker 3: subject to the Trump administration's cracked down the Caribbean were
- 3:28Speaker 3: quote unquote valid targets. This going directly against the lies
- 3:33Speaker 3: and the slander from the Washington Post on the military.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I want you to listen carefully to what Tom Cotton
- 3:40Speaker 3: had to say because it's important that this gets out,
- 3:43Speaker 3: and I hope you will share this podcast this information
- 3:48Speaker 3: with everyone on social media. Listen carefully.
- 3:51Speaker 4: And joining me now is the chairman of the Senate
- 3:54Speaker 4: Intelligence Committee who was in those briefings this week, Republican
- 3:58Speaker 4: Tom Cotton of Arkansas, and welcome back to meet the press.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Thanks for having me on Christin.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Thank you so much for being here after a very
- 4:05Speaker 4: big week. I want to ask you about our new reporting.
- 4:08Speaker 4: NBC News is reporting this morning that Defense Secretary Pete
- 4:11Speaker 4: hegseith his order was to kill all eleven individuals on
- 4:15Speaker 4: that boat because they were on a list of narco
- 4:19Speaker 4: terrorists who intelligence and military officials determined could be legally targeted.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Was Secretary Hegxis's order to kill everyone on the boat
- 4:28Speaker 4: because they were on this target list.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Senator the ordered, like the entire Operation Kristen is to
- 4:34Speaker 5: destroy these drug boats which are running drugs into our
- 4:39Speaker 5: country from foreign drug cartels and traffickers that are killing
- 4:43Speaker 5: hundreds of our cansons every year and hundreds of thousands
- 4:47Speaker 5: of Americans. Now, of course, before our military conducts such
- 4:52Speaker 5: a strike, they have multiple sources of intelligence. They give
- 4:56Speaker 5: high confidence that everyone on that boat is a foreign
- 5:00Speaker 5: drug trafficker, not an innocent civilian who's being human trafficked,
- 5:03Speaker 5: for instance. And therefore Secretary Hegseth said, and I agree,
- 5:08Speaker 5: they're all valid targets. Now, this controversy, let's remember, all
- 5:11Speaker 5: started with the Washington Post story about nine days ago
- 5:15Speaker 5: that said after the first strike there were two survivors
- 5:18Speaker 5: that were helpless, and then they were ordered to kill
- 5:21Speaker 5: these helpless survivors. That is simply not the case. They
- 5:24Speaker 5: were not floating in the ocean on a wooden plane
- 5:27Speaker 5: or in life jackets. They were on the capsized vessel.
- 5:30Speaker 5: They were not incapacitated in any way. It was entirely
- 5:33Speaker 5: appropriate to strike the boat again to make sure that
- 5:36Speaker 5: it cargo was destroyed. It is in no way violation
- 5:41Speaker 5: of the law of war. And I think the Washington Post,
- 5:43Speaker 5: oh Secretary Heseth and especially Admiral Mitch Bradley, a highly
- 5:48Speaker 5: decorated career Navy steal, an apology for that slander.
- 5:51Speaker 3: An apology for that slander. This story is a story
- 5:56Speaker 3: just like the Russian hoax story. That's still dossier, a
- 6:00Speaker 3: total fabrication by the Democratic National Committee that paid for
- 6:03Speaker 3: that dossier, and a fabrication by the Hillary Clinton for
- 6:07Speaker 3: President campaign. And what did the media do. They gave
- 6:11Speaker 3: legs and life to that story to the point where
- 6:14Speaker 3: they impeached the president of the United States of America.
- 6:19Speaker 3: This story is no different. There is a story that
- 6:23Speaker 3: has been put out there by the Washington Post. I
- 6:26Speaker 3: wouldn't be surprised if this story was put out there
- 6:28Speaker 3: in conjunction with Democrats, the same Democrats that said defy
- 6:32Speaker 3: the president's orders. It is obvious this was to undermine
- 6:36Speaker 3: and to even imprison people in and around President Trump.
- 6:41Speaker 3: It was also a story that has been put out
- 6:43Speaker 3: there to put fear into the minds of our men
- 6:46Speaker 3: and women in uniform, with the threat that the Democratic Party,
- 6:50Speaker 3: when they gained power again one day, will come after
- 6:53Speaker 3: them for war crimes and lock them up for life
- 6:56Speaker 3: or even give them the death penalty. That that is
- 7:00Speaker 3: exactly what this story was all about, to make sure
- 7:04Speaker 3: that people that are in our government would not follow
- 7:07Speaker 3: the orders of the sitting president. Senator Tom Cotton after
- 7:11Speaker 3: what he had to say there was pressed by Welker,
- 7:14Speaker 3: and I want you to listen carefully to what he
- 7:16Speaker 3: says in this next moment on the show.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Okay, and we're going to get to what you saw
- 7:21Speaker 4: in the video momentarily. But I just want to be
- 7:22Speaker 4: very clear, because what you're saying is significant. Senator, it
- 7:26Speaker 4: sounds like you're confirming. Did Admiral Bradley brief lawmakers that
- 7:30Speaker 4: in fact, all of the people on that boat were
- 7:33Speaker 4: on a military target list.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I did not hear him personally say anything about a
- 7:38Speaker 5: military target list. Now, he had several briefingsunt the day.
- 7:41Speaker 5: I wasn't in the briefing, for instance, with Mark Warner,
- 7:44Speaker 5: my counterpart on the Senate Intelligence Committee. I can only
- 7:46Speaker 5: say what he told me. He said they had high confidence,
- 7:49Speaker 5: based on multiple sources of intelligence, that everyone on that
- 7:52Speaker 5: boat was part of a foreign or foreign terrorist organization
- 7:56Speaker 5: and been designated by the US government.
- 7:58Speaker 4: So they could be legally targeted. They could be essentially
- 8:01Speaker 4: and legally targeted. We argued, yes, okay.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Both before the first strike and after the first strike.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Was Admiral Bradley acting on Secretary Hexas orders.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Senator Well anytime you have an operation like this, there's
- 8:12Speaker 5: an operation order, it's written down, it's got very detailed instructions.
- 8:17Speaker 5: I think because this was the first strike, Secretary Hegseth
- 8:19Speaker 5: and Admiral Bradley both wanted to be present and be
- 8:22Speaker 5: making the decision. As you heard Secretary Hegseth in the
- 8:25Speaker 5: opening say he initiated the first strike. You've seen the video.
- 8:29Speaker 5: There's a lot of smoke. It takes a long time
- 8:31Speaker 5: to clear. I'm sure Secretary Hesath had many other matters
- 8:33Speaker 5: that he had to attend to, and he trust Admiral Bradley.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Once the smoke is clear, once cloud covered cleared, it
- 8:39Speaker 5: was clear that the first strike had not destroyed the
- 8:41Speaker 5: boat or Admiral Bradley made a decision for the second strike.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Now in subsequent strike since then, because there's been more
- 8:46Speaker 5: than twenty obviously it's no longer a Secretary Hegseth or
- 8:50Speaker 5: even four star generals making that decision, nor should it be.
- 8:52Speaker 5: But on the first strike, I believe they both wanted
- 8:54Speaker 5: to be present and be observing it.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Let me ask you about the aftermath of that first strike.
- 8:59Speaker 4: The Tigan's Law of War Manual, which you're familiar with
- 9:03Speaker 4: having served in RockA and Afghanistan, says quote orders to
- 9:07Speaker 4: fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I want to pause there, and I want you to
- 9:14Speaker 3: just listen to how they continue to undermine and disparage
- 9:20Speaker 3: and fish for a controversy. Did you notice how she's like,
- 9:25Speaker 3: let me just go to these orders. Let's talk about
- 9:29Speaker 3: these orders. Let's have a conversation about these orders. They
- 9:36Speaker 3: do not want to stop here. They want this to
- 9:40Speaker 3: continue to be a thing. They want it to continue
- 9:45Speaker 3: to be a story. And they are refusing to admit
- 9:50Speaker 3: that the story is inaccurate, that the story is slander,
- 9:54Speaker 3: that the story is a lie. Why because they want
- 9:59Speaker 3: people that were for the president of the United States
- 10:01Speaker 3: of America to be afraid to do their job, to
- 10:06Speaker 3: be afraid to follow orders from the president of the
- 10:11Speaker 3: United States of America. And this is why it is
- 10:14Speaker 3: so important that we stand with this president and that
- 10:20Speaker 3: conservatives in Congress stand up to these radicals on the left.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Full stuff.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Now, story number two.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I want to bring up a quick important story for you,
- 10:31Speaker 3: and it's one that's getting no coverage at all. It
- 10:36Speaker 3: deals with the integrity of our elections and it's a
- 10:40Speaker 3: very important story. After the Assistant Attorney General Harmei Dylon,
- 10:45Speaker 3: who leads the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, announce new
- 10:49Speaker 3: findings in the Department's nationwide effort to clean up voter rolls,
- 10:54Speaker 3: revealing massive vulnerabilities in states election systems. Vording to Dylan,
- 11:01Speaker 3: federal investigators have identified two hundred and sixty plus thousand
- 11:07Speaker 3: dead individuals still listed on voter rolls across the country,
- 11:13Speaker 3: more than a quarter million dead people along with thousands
- 11:18Speaker 3: I'm going to say this slowly because I want this
- 11:21Speaker 3: to really stick with you, along with thousands of registered
- 11:27Speaker 3: non citizens. Let me translate that for you. They've found
- 11:33Speaker 3: thousands of illegal immigrants registered to vote. In a post
- 11:38Speaker 3: on acts, she said, the Department's review has already prompted
- 11:42Speaker 3: major action. Fourteen states have now been sued for failing
- 11:46Speaker 3: to comply with federal transparency requirements, while four others have
- 11:52Speaker 3: voluntarily turned over voter data and begun the cleanup efforts.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Many of these states, by the way, knew this was
- 12:00Speaker 3: a problem before the government got involved for the transparency.
- 12:04Speaker 3: One of the most serious problems, they said, is in
- 12:08Speaker 3: a swing state, North Carolina, where officials are now removing
- 12:14Speaker 3: more than one hundred thousand outdated or invalid voter registrations.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Dylon emphasized the stakes of the cleanup effort, saying even
- 12:28Speaker 3: a single and proper vote in reminds the core promise
- 12:31Speaker 3: of American democracy. Quote everyone, every one person voting who
- 12:38Speaker 3: shouldn't have voted is one too many, because every citizen
- 12:42Speaker 3: is entitled to one person, one vote, the assumption that
- 12:46Speaker 3: their vote is being counted equally and only with another
- 12:51Speaker 3: American citizen. We will not rest at the DOJ until
- 12:55Speaker 3: we complete this project and provide confidence to all American
- 13:00Speaker 3: voters that the roles are clean and the elections are
- 13:04Speaker 3: free and fair. The Department on Tuesday escalated its campaign
- 13:10Speaker 3: by filing lawsuits against six additional states Delaware, Maryland, New Mexico,
- 13:19Speaker 3: Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington for what is described as
- 13:25Speaker 3: their failure as a state to provide statewide voter registration
- 13:29Speaker 3: lists and other data required under federal law. Let me
- 13:35Speaker 3: say that again, under federal law. Justice Department officials say
- 13:40Speaker 3: the information is critical to assess compliance with election security statutes.
- 13:47Speaker 3: But Democrats state officials are pushing back, Why, Well, I
- 13:51Speaker 3: think it's pretty clear you can say they're probably pushing
- 13:54Speaker 3: back for one main reason because they feel like this
- 13:57Speaker 3: is an advantage for them. Democrats say that they're warning
- 14:01Speaker 3: about how the voter data could be used, and they're
- 14:03Speaker 3: raising questions about the Department's handling and privacy protections, that
- 14:07Speaker 3: of course being dismissed by those in charge, saying that
- 14:11Speaker 3: the transparency and accuracy are essential to public trust and
- 14:15Speaker 3: that the Department's efforts are aimed soleet ensuring the integrity
- 14:19Speaker 3: of future elections, saying, quote, our elections are crooked and rigged.
- 14:24Speaker 3: The voters know it. That's how President Trump put it
- 14:27Speaker 3: on Wednesday after this data was revealed. Must bring integrity
- 14:31Speaker 3: back to voting, and it starts, the President says, in
- 14:34Speaker 3: all caps, with voter ID. And I couldn't agree with
- 14:39Speaker 3: him more. Now, if you go back to what the
- 14:42Speaker 3: President said in his tweet, this echoes what he's been
- 14:46Speaker 3: saying for a long time. We have a problem in
- 14:49Speaker 3: this country with the ability to cheat and the ability
- 14:53Speaker 3: for someone who is not actually who they say they
- 14:55Speaker 3: are to vote in an election. It is simple and
- 15:01Speaker 3: it's easy to fix this problem. Voter ID laws are
- 15:06Speaker 3: a great step in the right in that direction, Like
- 15:09Speaker 3: a phenomenal step in that direction. The problem is you
- 15:15Speaker 3: have Democrats who say no, we refuse, we will not
- 15:20Speaker 3: do this. We are saying no to it, and that's
- 15:24Speaker 3: the biggest problem of all. It is incredibly frustrating when
- 15:28Speaker 3: you witness this. It's incredibly frustrating to watch a government
- 15:33Speaker 3: that is trying to give us transparency and Democrats get
- 15:36Speaker 3: in the way. Why would they not want Why would
- 15:39Speaker 3: Democrats not want to clean up the voter rolls? Is
- 15:43Speaker 3: it because they know the majority of cheating that's done
- 15:45Speaker 3: is done by Democrats and not Republicans and it gives
- 15:48Speaker 3: them a big advantage. That's a question that everybody should ask.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I think it's an incredibly important question to ask, and
- 16:00Speaker 3: I hope all of you will start asking that question,
- 16:04Speaker 3: most importantly to our men and women who serve this
- 16:07Speaker 3: country in Congress.
