- 0:01Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time, y'all
- 0:06Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit all looking back to
- 0:13Speaker 1: back down, giving them like theming buck things. And it's
- 0:20Speaker 1: not me through good Steve has to mother, I don't
- 0:40Speaker 1: join me. You gotta you gotta turn hur you go
- 1:14Speaker 1: very you gotta turn to turn them out, turn love,
- 1:45Speaker 1: got to turn them out, to turn turn the water
- 1:48Speaker 1: the water. Yall come come, uh huh, I shall well,
- 2:05Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:09Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Arvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. Man, Old Man. Old Man symbolizes just one
- 2:17Speaker 1: thing to me. Man, It's just a constant remind of
- 2:19Speaker 1: exactly how good God has been to me over the years.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And I'm thank him for it too, because I realize
- 2:25Speaker 1: every day that I wake up that I would be
- 2:27Speaker 1: nothing without him. That everything I am, that's any good
- 2:32Speaker 1: in me, I owe to him. Now. Have I made
- 2:34Speaker 1: some mistakes along the way? Yep, bunches, bunches and bunches.
- 2:40Speaker 1: And will I continue to make mistakes along the way yep?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Not as many, hopefully as I have in the past,
- 2:49Speaker 1: because a lot of stuff I know better now. But
- 2:52Speaker 1: you're still going to make mistakes. Now. You know, hopefully
- 2:57Speaker 1: I've limited the amount of intensional errors in my life.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I've wiped quite a few of those out. But from
- 3:05Speaker 1: time to time, because we're human, we're going to make
- 3:09Speaker 1: a mistake every now and then. The trick, what it is,
- 3:11Speaker 1: y'all's not to let the devil deceive you into thinking
- 3:15Speaker 1: that once you make that mistake, that that's it. You
- 3:18Speaker 1: can't do it. You're falling off the wagon. You can't
- 3:21Speaker 1: reboard it. That's the biggest trick that he uses. He
- 3:25Speaker 1: makes you think that if you keep stumbling, that you
- 3:30Speaker 1: can't run the race. It kind of reminds me of
- 3:36Speaker 1: a marathon runner. From time to time, I watch him
- 3:39Speaker 1: on TV, and you'll see some people who finish the race,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you know, in a in a nice pace. You see
- 3:48Speaker 1: people finish the race sprinting towards the finished line. But
- 3:52Speaker 1: every now and then you'll watch a marathon and you'll
- 3:56Speaker 1: see a runner and the runner is in really, really
- 4:01Speaker 1: bad shape. The key is they finish the race. See,
- 4:08Speaker 1: you don't get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You don't. They don't. They don't take your opportunity to
- 4:19Speaker 1: finish the race because you keep falling. That's not the key.
- 4:24Speaker 1: The key is finishing. And a lot of times what
- 4:27Speaker 1: the devil does is he makes you think that because
- 4:31Speaker 1: you keep stumbling, because you're swaying from side to side,
- 4:35Speaker 1: that you know you out the race. Well, that's not
- 4:38Speaker 1: the case. And see and then this thing called life,
- 4:42Speaker 1: let me help you understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints
- 4:46Speaker 1: to the tape in this one. Nobody just runs free
- 4:49Speaker 1: and clear as some people running faster than you and
- 4:53Speaker 1: all like this. And some people gonna get to the
- 4:55Speaker 1: end before you let them go ahead. And when the
- 4:57Speaker 1: end come, the dcome. I ain't in the rush to
- 4:59Speaker 1: get at the end. But in this race, though, when
- 5:03Speaker 1: you're stumbling and you're falling, it's a part of it.
- 5:06Speaker 1: No one gets through this race without stumbling and falling,
- 5:10Speaker 1: swaying from side to side. So don't let the enemy
- 5:14Speaker 1: deceive you into thinking that it's over. I try to
- 5:19Speaker 1: be encouraging to people because I don't want people to
- 5:23Speaker 1: get stuck on this thing, you know. And my walk
- 5:26Speaker 1: is very different from a lot of people's walks. And
- 5:28Speaker 1: then I know a lot of people who walking in
- 5:30Speaker 1: faith the way I'm walking in faith. But my thing
- 5:33Speaker 1: in the morning is just to remind those that is
- 5:36Speaker 1: not a perfect walk man, that it's not something that's
- 5:40Speaker 1: set up where you're gonna be skipping through life scot
- 5:44Speaker 1: free without any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it
- 5:47Speaker 1: over and over and over again because, like I said,
- 5:49Speaker 1: when I was in DC, my boy Hondo said this
- 5:54Speaker 1: to me, and it just kind of stuck with me
- 5:55Speaker 1: that the road to construct, the road to successes always
- 5:59Speaker 1: under instruction. You have to figure and count on the
- 6:04Speaker 1: setbacks and the pitfalls. But it's those people that that
- 6:08Speaker 1: that that fight through will be the victors in the end.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere sitting down
- 6:17Speaker 1: every time something goes down. It's going to go down.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It's a part of it. It's going to happen. It's
- 6:24Speaker 1: going to occur that are going to be setbacks. If
- 6:28Speaker 1: you go and sit down every time there's a setback,
- 6:32Speaker 1: that's not how this works. It is designed that way.
- 6:36Speaker 1: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success
- 6:43Speaker 1: is just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:46Speaker 1: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:52Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:57Speaker 1: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 7:00Speaker 1: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considers successful.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considers successful. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:12Speaker 1: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:16Speaker 1: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:20Speaker 1: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:26Speaker 1: tied up into church. Your level of success could be
- 7:29Speaker 1: tied up into boys clubs. It could be any number
- 7:33Speaker 1: of things. Whatever your level of success is, you have
- 7:37Speaker 1: to determine what that is you and the best way
- 7:40Speaker 1: to determine that is to get in touch with your maker,
- 7:44Speaker 1: who created you, to find out what your mission and
- 7:48Speaker 1: your purpose is so he can put you on track.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my son, and we
- 7:55Speaker 1: were talking about getting on the path that God has
- 7:59Speaker 1: set up for you. So many times we find ourselves
- 8:02Speaker 1: fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because we
- 8:06Speaker 1: have no idea where we're headed. It's like one of
- 8:12Speaker 1: my own sayings that I have at my mentoring camp
- 8:16Speaker 1: for boys, is is that a boy without a male
- 8:21Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. See
- 8:26Speaker 1: if you don't have a map laid out in front
- 8:30Speaker 1: of you of where you're going when you wake up
- 8:34Speaker 1: every day. That pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 8:40Speaker 1: the laxadaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 8:47Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 8:52Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 8:56Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing
- 8:59Speaker 1: the moment you can identify that's the moment that you
- 9:03Speaker 1: get started waking up with purpose, with the sense of direction.
- 9:08Speaker 1: When you kill the sense of I don't know what's
- 9:10Speaker 1: next or what to do. Now, there's going to be
- 9:13Speaker 1: some confusing moments no matter what happened, it's going to
- 9:15Speaker 1: be some uncertainty, but at least you'll know where you're going.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So if you're tied a waking up feeling loss, abandon confused,
- 9:24Speaker 1: don't know what to do, don't know what you're supposed
- 9:27Speaker 1: to be doing, refer back to your makeup. Because when
- 9:33Speaker 1: he created you, he had a plan for you. When
- 9:36Speaker 1: he created you, he had a path for you. Now
- 9:40Speaker 1: we've made some decisions to get off of both of
- 9:42Speaker 1: those the mission and the path. But God can get
- 9:45Speaker 1: you right back on track. Do that today, asking what
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're supposed to be doing and listen, God has all
- 9:55Speaker 1: the answers if you form the relationship. Okay, Steve Harvey
- 10:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us
- 10:06Speaker 1: this morning. Thank you for your presence, Thank you for
- 10:11Speaker 1: your desire to be entertained, uplifted, motivated, inspired, encourage, and
- 10:18Speaker 1: reminded that today is a blessing. Yeah it is. Don't
- 10:23Speaker 1: look at it no other way. I'm excited about what
- 10:26Speaker 1: God is about to do for me today. And even
- 10:29Speaker 1: though times I have to wait longer than I would
- 10:31Speaker 1: like to wait, God is never too late. That is
- 10:36Speaker 1: a fact fact, Deal with it. Welcome to the Steve
- 10:40Speaker 1: Harvard Morning Show. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica
- 10:44Speaker 1: Junior better known his Kid's Fake and the legend that
- 10:47Speaker 1: he is nephew timing hearing your grown of one possibly
- 10:52Speaker 1: be on your mind. You know, I'm gonna tell you something, man.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I find out so I'm not really, you know, really
- 10:58Speaker 1: versed on the subject. But I heard some songs, man,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and it was blue Blue Eyed Soul, Blue Eyes Soul
- 11:06Speaker 1: Come on, man, I'm just saying this, uh this, Michael
- 11:10Speaker 1: McDonald think and then who was all when you say
- 11:12Speaker 1: blue eyes? Who was all in that? Okay? Feting, No,
- 11:16Speaker 1: there's nothing. We're gonna be here all day this never
- 11:23Speaker 1: say game? How you made that soul clear? O? Can
- 11:30Speaker 1: you foret that's one song? That's one every time you
- 11:35Speaker 1: need every time? Boy? What what happened? Boy? How did
- 11:46Speaker 1: that work? Even understand it? Because it came from an
- 11:49Speaker 1: era with everybody that signed the record contract actually had
- 11:54Speaker 1: to have talent. You had to be able to say
- 11:59Speaker 1: and you had to know how to write a song.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Ding ding ding dinging ing and dinginging? What is that
- 12:17Speaker 1: that come back? You can put it all baby hair?
- 12:32Speaker 1: How do you feel you manlo with me? Um for
- 12:44Speaker 1: waiting for the sunrise? A? Whoa? You come on and
- 12:59Speaker 1: we're not feel I can't go walk? You come in me.
- 13:06Speaker 1: It's you and me forever, Sarah Actually sounds pretty good,
- 13:20Speaker 1: boy to stand white boys not check us out. I'm
- 13:27Speaker 1: been in the jets, dude coming up in thirty two
- 13:39Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, it's the nephew and run that
- 13:41Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 13:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is time for the
- 13:49Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back what you got for us, Nap,
- 13:52Speaker 1: We're going down into the roots that new growth, Shirley,
- 13:56Speaker 1: We're gonna wait on. This is called nappy Hall. Now
- 14:00Speaker 1: the hair late my hair. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 14:06Speaker 1: get Frances. This is she. Hey, friends, how you doing.
- 14:08Speaker 1: My name is Daryl Daryl. Our kids they go to
- 14:12Speaker 1: our together. Oh yeah, yeah, your daughters Kylin, right, yes, okay,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and my son is a DJ Daryl Junior. They I
- 14:19Speaker 1: think I may have met you at the beginning of
- 14:21Speaker 1: the school. Yeah you remember meeting me, Daryl Daryl. Oh,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I met a lot of people, but I'm sorry I
- 14:26Speaker 1: can't place you right now. Okay, no problem. Hey listen, um,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I was getting your call. You know, there's only a
- 14:33Speaker 1: handful of black kids at the school, you know, being
- 14:36Speaker 1: a private school and all. And we the black parents,
- 14:40Speaker 1: we all got together and had a meeting a couple
- 14:42Speaker 1: of nights ago. Okay, you said all the black parents. Okay,
- 14:46Speaker 1: I wasn't there. Why wasn't our call? Uh? Well, we
- 14:49Speaker 1: actually had a meeting about your daughter, Klin. Oh well
- 14:52Speaker 1: what about Klin? She is there? A problem at school
- 14:55Speaker 1: if she's claming or something. I don't even know about
- 14:58Speaker 1: what's what's going on with Well, actually we're you know,
- 15:00Speaker 1: we feel privileged to be you know, you know, like
- 15:03Speaker 1: I said, it's only a handful of blacks, and we
- 15:05Speaker 1: try to carry ourselves in a dignified way. Our presence,
- 15:08Speaker 1: our attitude, the way we handle ourselves. And uh, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 1: Kaylin's doing very good in school, I want to understand,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and very nice with all the rest of the kids.
- 15:16Speaker 1: He's getting along. That's not the problem. What we're what
- 15:19Speaker 1: we're trying to get is the grooming of Kaylin. You know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: Kaylin's has these braids, and what we were trying to
- 15:27Speaker 1: do is give you know, we had a meeting about it.
- 15:29Speaker 1: We want to hold I'm hold of did you just
- 15:32Speaker 1: say her grooming something wrong with her grooming? Well, it's
- 15:36Speaker 1: not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know, the kids
- 15:38Speaker 1: were the uniforms, but the braids. You know, we want
- 15:41Speaker 1: to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity. The way
- 15:45Speaker 1: we carry ourselves. We want to be um, you know,
- 15:48Speaker 1: pretty much nice and clean, spitting polished. We would really
- 15:51Speaker 1: prefer for her hair was straight and opposed to being
- 15:54Speaker 1: braided up, you know, I mean, it kind of gives
- 15:58Speaker 1: off a ghetto type of look to it, and that's
- 16:00Speaker 1: what we're trying to avoid. Are you crazy? It's something
- 16:04Speaker 1: wrong with you you. First of all, how the hell
- 16:06Speaker 1: you get my numps? If you couldn't call me for
- 16:09Speaker 1: the meeting, why are you calling me now? Like I said, man,
- 16:11Speaker 1: the meeting was to get the general consensus on where
- 16:13Speaker 1: all the parents feeling the same way about your daughter
- 16:16Speaker 1: and her braids. You know, we're just trying to keep
- 16:18Speaker 1: everything class here. When it comes to the blacks that
- 16:21Speaker 1: attended school, it's only ten of us, you know, ten
- 16:24Speaker 1: children attending. I'll tell you what you can attend you
- 16:27Speaker 1: could what you can attend to is this phone hanging
- 16:30Speaker 1: up in your grace. You tell the parents, all of
- 16:33Speaker 1: them for me, y'all can go straight and hit rock
- 16:36Speaker 1: bottom out of hell. Talk about my child and her braids.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Her braids are ethnic, they are nice, she's wearing brooms,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and I don't know how the hell you got my
- 16:44Speaker 1: telephone number. But tell all the parents for me to
- 16:47Speaker 1: kiss the crack of out you know what. Listen, First
- 16:50Speaker 1: of all, I don't like the way that you're talking
- 16:51Speaker 1: to me, okay, I carry myself with class, with dignity.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I'm spitting polished man. Child subject meets her hairstyle and
- 17:05Speaker 1: let me say something real ghetto to your Okay, you
- 17:09Speaker 1: and all your parents can hit rock. Some'm out of hell.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Don't call me no more when no like this. This
- 17:15Speaker 1: is ignorant. I'm far beyond this. My child is well groomed.
- 17:19Speaker 1: She is gonna go to that scho as a matter
- 17:21Speaker 1: of fact, as much money as it costs to go
- 17:23Speaker 1: there to y'all should have been meeting on how we
- 17:25Speaker 1: can get together and pay the tuitions. How about fact?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Are you trying to sit here and tell me that
- 17:30Speaker 1: you got a problem taking her braids down and wearing
- 17:32Speaker 1: her hair straight so she can look a lot more
- 17:34Speaker 1: classy than what she looks right now. It's your pathetic
- 17:36Speaker 1: look that she's having right now. You know what I don't.
- 17:39Speaker 1: What's your hair looked like? Take a picture of your
- 17:42Speaker 1: self and send it to me texted to me since
- 17:43Speaker 1: you get folks phoned numbers and give it to you.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Take a picture of your self and texted to me.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I bet you you look like who would have thought it?
- 17:50Speaker 1: My daughter's braids are gonna stay up for the rest
- 17:53Speaker 1: of the years. As a matter of fact, we ain't
- 17:55Speaker 1: gonna rebraided. It's gonna stay that way so it can
- 17:57Speaker 1: be madd at and represent that's what we Francis listening.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I don't I don't want to argue. I just wanted
- 18:03Speaker 1: to call and see if we could actually, you know,
- 18:05Speaker 1: come to a medium on this. Do you think that
- 18:07Speaker 1: there's a possibility that I mean, when I'm I'm picking
- 18:11Speaker 1: up DJ tomorrow after school, it would it be all
- 18:15Speaker 1: right if I picked up little Kaylin and brought her
- 18:18Speaker 1: home and let my wife do our hair. Please. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: wish that he would pick my start up and see
- 18:26Speaker 1: what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my husband's
- 18:28Speaker 1: him to come over your house and whoop ya after
- 18:31Speaker 1: he braids yo, as I wish you would pick up
- 18:34Speaker 1: my th I call the police on. As a matter
- 18:36Speaker 1: of fact, you will have to call the police on
- 18:38Speaker 1: me and my husband. Do it and see what happens. Ma'am.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get some class here, that's all
- 18:43Speaker 1: we're wanting. We're not wanting to fight with you. It's
- 18:46Speaker 1: just the blacks here. We think that we want a
- 18:48Speaker 1: little bit more classy. Look of the way we are groomed.
- 18:51Speaker 1: That's the only thing we're looking for. The only person
- 18:53Speaker 1: who's gonna be taking the classes. And when we get
- 18:56Speaker 1: to whoop, you're gonna be taking the class. How about back? Yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 1: I can't stand up like you. Y'all get five dollars
- 19:05Speaker 1: and one penny in your box and think you better
- 19:08Speaker 1: than everybody as you to get where you came from.
- 19:10Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, what's your guess? What's your name?
- 19:13Speaker 1: Because I'm calling the principle on your day, give me
- 19:16Speaker 1: your name, and mister hoole, what's your name? Uh, that's
- 19:21Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's not that's not really what my
- 19:23Speaker 1: name is. Well, that's what told me when you first
- 19:25Speaker 1: called me. What is your real name? My name is
- 19:28Speaker 1: my name? My real name is Tommy Thomas. No, no,
- 19:32Speaker 1: my last name either. What what the hell is your name?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Do you know? My name is Tommy nephew Tommy from
- 19:38Speaker 1: the Steve Horby Morning Show. Your husband Keith got me
- 19:42Speaker 1: to plank farm call you be Oh my god, Keith
- 19:51Speaker 1: put you you got me ready to kick your kicks.
- 19:57Speaker 1: The PTS so gl cool and everything about it. I'll
- 20:02Speaker 1: tell you what keep eat out for the rest of
- 20:04Speaker 1: the week. He told me. He said, man, he said,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it don't take but about two and a half minutes
- 20:14Speaker 1: for my wife to go off. He said, it don't
- 20:16Speaker 1: take but two and a half, he said, I promise you.
- 20:22Speaker 1: All right, all right, calm down, let me ask you something.
- 20:26Speaker 1: What what I got one more thing to ask you?
- 20:28Speaker 1: What is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 20:31Speaker 1: show in the land. You know, it's a Steve Harvey
- 20:36Speaker 1: Morning Show. All I ain't gonna brag about how cold
- 20:42Speaker 1: it will. I'm gonna I don't even know Pat Pat
- 20:44Speaker 1: on the back of the day. I don't need to,
- 20:45Speaker 1: and we don't have time for all of that. Coming
- 20:49Speaker 1: up next, Coming up next, asked the CELLO Chief Love Officer,
- 20:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building for your love questions. Right
- 20:57Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 21:02Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, and entertainment news. A
- 21:05Speaker 1: meteorologist makes a racist tweet against Draymond Green. Two rappers
- 21:10Speaker 1: are arrested for racketeering in Georgia. And we have some
- 21:13Speaker 1: music news for you with Carla. But right now it
- 21:16Speaker 1: is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve
- 21:20Speaker 1: Harvey in the building. Ready, all right, here we go,
- 21:23Speaker 1: Delia and Henderson says, I'm dating a man that will
- 21:26Speaker 1: not shower before he gets in bed. He likes to
- 21:29Speaker 1: wash up and leave his nasty towel on the sink,
- 21:32Speaker 1: and I can see and smell the grime on the towel.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I have been making up excuses to avoid sex. Should
- 21:38Speaker 1: I just be honest? Because so, I guess you don't
- 21:44Speaker 1: know it by now, but men don't really do hint. No,
- 21:49Speaker 1: you gotta tell them. Why do you have to tell
- 21:53Speaker 1: someone like? He's a good way to do it, Like
- 21:55Speaker 1: when y'all wake up the next morning, just say I
- 21:58Speaker 1: got something I want you to see. And then when
- 22:00Speaker 1: he come in there, just throw a match on that
- 22:02Speaker 1: tip and as he go up, just not do you
- 22:08Speaker 1: know why this is doing it? Can you explain the
- 22:14Speaker 1: blue flames? But if you have to tell someone to
- 22:19Speaker 1: take a shower, no, man, you have a problem. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:23Speaker 1: that's a deal breaker. All right. Moving on to Mark
- 22:27Speaker 1: and Schomberg, Mark says, my wife and I are both
- 22:30Speaker 1: fifty eight years old, and I love working out, but
- 22:34Speaker 1: she doesn't. She's gained some weight and we talked about
- 22:37Speaker 1: it and Her response shocked me. She wants me to
- 22:40Speaker 1: stop working out and stop trying to look young. Am
- 22:43Speaker 1: I supposed to sit back and watch her continue to
- 22:45Speaker 1: gain weight and accept it? You see this starting to
- 22:50Speaker 1: look like the end to me? Start it, Scot, you know,
- 22:56Speaker 1: well you know when it's over. Yeah, yeah, this has
- 22:59Speaker 1: Indie on it. Why don't you stop trying to stop
- 23:04Speaker 1: trying to work out and stop trying to look young.
- 23:08Speaker 1: This is a person who has no intent of going
- 23:10Speaker 1: to the gym at all. She's wing to make me
- 23:13Speaker 1: sit up in here and try to look young when
- 23:15Speaker 1: I know I'm not. We are fifty eight to both
- 23:18Speaker 1: of us, and in two years, if you just wait
- 23:21Speaker 1: a minute, we'll be sixty, and damn it, I want
- 23:24Speaker 1: to look like it. Yeah, this, this has the end
- 23:32Speaker 1: written on it. Mark. I mean you know you all
- 23:34Speaker 1: have talked about it. She's not gonna try and not
- 23:36Speaker 1: gonna do better, and I think you have to mention
- 23:39Speaker 1: it again, and then after she don't do it again,
- 23:41Speaker 1: then I know where it's his head. And I don't
- 23:43Speaker 1: want to say that I know exactly what it's his head,
- 23:46Speaker 1: cause somebody down at the gym working out with this
- 23:50Speaker 1: tight tight as me me limited it don't see you
- 23:56Speaker 1: don't even say, Lulu doude, how you doing? Hey? You are?
- 24:03Speaker 1: See you when you're all the time? That hasted up? Right? Okay,
- 24:07Speaker 1: all right, all right? I want a protein shake. I
- 24:11Speaker 1: love protein shakes. What about if he asked his wife, bet, hey,
- 24:16Speaker 1: you want to do you want a protein shape? Is
- 24:19Speaker 1: meat in it? When did you start whipping up meat?
- 24:26Speaker 1: Mister Fidler, plant things? Boy, stop stop trust talk all right,
- 24:42Speaker 1: we gotta move on to Pearl and Charlotte Pearl. Right
- 24:45Speaker 1: next month, my mother will turn ninety nine years old
- 24:48Speaker 1: and we want to have a party for her. But
- 24:50Speaker 1: the nursing home said we can only have ten people
- 24:53Speaker 1: at the party, and we can't bring in music. Her
- 24:56Speaker 1: sisters are flying in, and we have a lot of
- 24:59Speaker 1: relatives that want to attend. We pay for her stay there,
- 25:03Speaker 1: so how can they tell us no? Because it's stay facility,
- 25:10Speaker 1: they're gonna they can tell you know, can let me
- 25:14Speaker 1: ask you a question? Can you take her out of
- 25:16Speaker 1: the facility for a night? That's what I was thinking.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Is that allowable? I don't know. I mean, you don't
- 25:24Speaker 1: see if you can just take her out of the
- 25:25Speaker 1: facility for to night? How they gonna tell, you know,
- 25:30Speaker 1: because she's ninety nine, and I'm sure everybody wants to
- 25:32Speaker 1: come in. You never know, you know she's ninety nine,
- 25:35Speaker 1: And you said me man, because your name is Pearl. Pearl, Yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 1: you know you need to be careful for they misstep
- 25:46Speaker 1: before they mess around and check you any not, Pearl,
- 25:53Speaker 1: you got full of these rude You're gonna bring her
- 25:55Speaker 1: sisters here. I appreciate it, peril, but now listen to me.
- 26:02Speaker 1: These rules should be right next Tom. All right, well, Pearl,
- 26:11Speaker 1: check out, check it out? Check out the rules? All right?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Mickey and Compton writes, I am a twenty seven year
- 26:18Speaker 1: old single mother and I want to find out who
- 26:20Speaker 1: the father of my child is. But the two guys
- 26:24Speaker 1: I was with have ghosted me. I had a threesome
- 26:27Speaker 1: with two guys and ended up pregnant. I know my
- 26:30Speaker 1: situation isn't ideal, but I'd love for my son to
- 26:34Speaker 1: know his father. Should I contact these guys family to
- 26:37Speaker 1: find them? H? Well, I mean I'm not sure what

- 27:09Speaker 1: got to find a way to find the father this baby. Now,
- 27:12Speaker 1: you know what, you know what's happening. You know who
- 27:13Speaker 1: they are, and you need to contact the family and something. Yeah,
- 27:18Speaker 1: you got do you know. Wow, she's got to have
- 27:23Speaker 1: some sort of way to get in touch with them.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I mean, everybody, everybody, twenty seven, they don't they're on
- 27:29Speaker 1: social media. Yeah, wow, Well it's one of the two.
- 27:36Speaker 1: It's one of the two. Yeah, I mean, well she's
- 27:38Speaker 1: got a good child support too. I mean well, I
- 27:41Speaker 1: mean it's one of them. Two tree banking on you.
- 27:46Speaker 1: You made once you made that decision, you made couple
- 27:49Speaker 1: more to go with it. That ain't what you ain't started.
- 27:51Speaker 1: You just ain't told us all of them. No, no, no, no,
- 27:54Speaker 1: that ain't your decision you started with. That's a build
- 27:56Speaker 1: up move right there. I can tell you that right now.
- 27:58Speaker 1: You got to build up to the move. This little
- 28:01Speaker 1: sounds exciting, no m h wow, Okay, yeah, this is
- 28:08Speaker 1: a predicament right here. Yeah, hanging that little sister. But
- 28:11Speaker 1: social media, you twenty seven, they gotta be on there.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Social media. Surely there's gotta be away. Yeah, but she
- 28:19Speaker 1: wants to know s she contact their family? The family, Well,
- 28:23Speaker 1: I mean you know, yeah, you can try it, but
- 28:25Speaker 1: you got do something, yeah, because obviously she has their
- 28:29Speaker 1: contact or else you'll never know. You're gonna get instant pushback,
- 28:37Speaker 1: instant pushback. Yeah. Yeah. So she said she knows he
- 28:42Speaker 1: isn't ideal. Yeah, um yeah, I mean mistakes happened, but
- 28:48Speaker 1: oh wow, this is a tough one right here. Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I would, I would you know,
- 28:54Speaker 1: you want the child to be able to know, you
- 28:55Speaker 1: gotta have to find out. I think it's you had
- 28:58Speaker 1: to you had to do whatever necessary age at this point. Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 1: because the guys are they ghosted her. I mean she
- 29:06Speaker 1: said it, so all right. Well wow, all right, thank you, Clo.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour as we
- 29:15Speaker 1: move on, we'll have some entertainment news for you right
- 29:17Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show chiefs Meteorologist Joey Sulipec
- 29:25Speaker 1: of Fox thirteen in Memphis is in hot water after
- 29:29Speaker 1: he sent a racist tweet about NBA player Draymond Green
- 29:33Speaker 1: of the Golden State Warriors. The tweet came during game
- 29:36Speaker 1: three of the playoffs. Right after Memphis Grizzlies forward Kyle
- 29:40Speaker 1: Anderson was ejected, Sulipec tweeted and chew on this. Draymond
- 29:46Speaker 1: runs his knuckle dragging open mouth all game long, but
- 29:50Speaker 1: mile manored Kyle Anderson, disputes one call and gets ejected.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Next level jack assery. Sulipec has since deleted his account,
- 29:59Speaker 1: and Fox thirteen Memphis released a statement on Twitter saying
- 30:03Speaker 1: that they planned to take appropriate action only after receiving
- 30:06Speaker 1: a significant amount of backlash. Draymond Greene issued his own
- 30:11Speaker 1: response to the tweet, but on Instagram, are you surprised?
- 30:15Speaker 1: He wrote, with several laughing emojis, don't apologize, stand on it.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So they weren't gonna do anything until they got all
- 30:23Speaker 1: these uh yeah people complained about it. M m. Sounds
- 30:28Speaker 1: like it sounds like they were just gonna let it go.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah. So the meteorology is the weatherman gang. Yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 1: knuckle dragging, open mouth. Okay, he ain't even over sports.
- 30:47Speaker 1: You worry about these clouds? Yeah, you got that job
- 30:51Speaker 1: that can be replaced. Yeah yeah, you ain't. No roke, Okay,
- 31:00Speaker 1: that's hard, all right, Yeah it is, it is, all right,
- 31:04Speaker 1: So moving on to this story, rappers Young Thug and
- 31:07Speaker 1: Gunna have been arrested as part of a massive RICO
- 31:10Speaker 1: investigation in Fulton County, Georgia. RICO stands for a Racketeer
- 31:14Speaker 1: Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. The DA announced the fifty
- 31:19Speaker 1: six count indictment against the rappers along with other alleged
- 31:23Speaker 1: members of the Young Slime Life Gang also known as
- 31:27Speaker 1: Y s L. The indictment names twenty eight affiliates, many
- 31:31Speaker 1: of whom face life in prison for the most serious offenses.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Young Thug has been charged with conspiracy to violate RICO
- 31:38Speaker 1: and the RICO Act, participating in criminal street gang activity,
- 31:42Speaker 1: and for conspiring to a to have rival rapper yfn
- 31:47Speaker 1: Lucci killed while he was in jail. Rapper Gunna is
- 31:51Speaker 1: charged with one count of conspiring to violate RICO for
- 31:55Speaker 1: rapping about crimes in his music. Fulton County DA revealed
- 31:59Speaker 1: that song lyrics could be used as evidence in the
- 32:02Speaker 1: case despite the first amendment. Others in the indictment are
- 32:06Speaker 1: being accused of more severe crimes such as theft, drug distribution,
- 32:10Speaker 1: and murder. Boy. They're in a lot of trouble. I've
- 32:13Speaker 1: never heard a gunner call pretty bad. That's because you're old. Yeah,
- 32:22Speaker 1: the exact same statement I made to my kids when
- 32:25Speaker 1: they was discussing. My question was who is that? Sound
- 32:32Speaker 1: like you don't want them know him? No from the charges. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 1: but you know that Federal and Rico they're not. That's
- 32:45Speaker 1: not that flipman. When the fans come, they didn't wait
- 32:48Speaker 1: it because this case is years old, so they've been
- 32:52Speaker 1: gathering this information for a while. It's really not a
- 32:55Speaker 1: good day when the fans called. The fans don't come
- 32:58Speaker 1: unless they have it. No, yeah, you're right, this ain't
- 33:01Speaker 1: your local police department. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, especially the
- 33:08Speaker 1: part about them having their music lyrics, you know, giving
- 33:14Speaker 1: information well stuff, you know, you know, and like the
- 33:18Speaker 1: prosecutor was saying, though, even though they are protected by
- 33:22Speaker 1: the First Amendment, you have the right to say whatever
- 33:24Speaker 1: you want to say in terms of freedom of speech,
- 33:26Speaker 1: but it does not mean that your freedom of speech
- 33:28Speaker 1: cannot be used against you as evidence. Yeah, and that's
- 33:32Speaker 1: wrapped about it. Yeah, they oh, you know, all right,
- 33:39Speaker 1: you know, it sells conflict and yeah, it's really sad
- 33:43Speaker 1: with what's going on with hip hop and fluence that's
- 33:48Speaker 1: going on with young people. It's just some gotta change
- 33:52Speaker 1: has change. Well, stay on this this music news situation, Carla.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I know you have some music news. What's going on
- 33:59Speaker 1: with you? I do want to well, just switch it
- 34:02Speaker 1: up a little bit. You know. We talked about Travis Scott.
- 34:04Speaker 1: He performed this past weekend in Miami at the Grand
- 34:06Speaker 1: Prix events. Well, this Sunday night, he will be in
- 34:10Speaker 1: Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards. This is his
- 34:14Speaker 1: first televised award show appearance, of course, since the horrific
- 34:19Speaker 1: Astworld Festival tragedy. So Travis Scott will be making his
- 34:25Speaker 1: television debut. The Billboard Music Awards is hosted by Diddy. Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 1: he said last month in the statement, he's saying that
- 34:36Speaker 1: he's very excited about the big performances and surprises that's
- 34:41Speaker 1: going to be at the Billboard Awards. Mary J. Blidge
- 34:44Speaker 1: will receive the Icon Award, of course, meat Watching Mary.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Other performers include your Favorite, Steve Harvey's Silk Sonic, Leave
- 35:00Speaker 1: the Door, Oeter Door Bird. See I left that open
- 35:07Speaker 1: for him to sing that sing. Maxwell will perform Ladies
- 35:17Speaker 1: and Ready Huh Yep, Hot Girls, Summers, Megan the Stallion
- 35:23Speaker 1: she's performing, and the other nominees include Justin Bieber, The Beads,
- 35:27Speaker 1: Kanye The Weekend So Sunday Night in GM Grand in Vegas,
- 35:33Speaker 1: the Billboard Awards hosted by that did he? Now he
- 35:37Speaker 1: bought the Billboard Awards, right, so he's hosting it and
- 35:40Speaker 1: everything he bought him. So I guess he could do whatever.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Now there his and he has his own record label.
- 35:46Speaker 1: You know he's doing this thing, a new record label,
- 35:49Speaker 1: I should say, his own. Yeah, the new one, a
- 35:52Speaker 1: new laby. All right, thank you, Carla coming up for
- 35:54Speaker 1: twenty minutes after Trump might be returning to Twitter. He
- 36:00Speaker 1: probably will be. We'll talk about it right after you're listening, okay.
- 36:09Speaker 1: So Elon Musk says that when he's in charge of Twitter,
- 36:12Speaker 1: he'll reverse the band on Donald Trump Twitter band Trump
- 36:16Speaker 1: permanently after his comments egging on the January six writers
- 36:19Speaker 1: at the Capitol. At a Financial Times event this week,
- 36:23Speaker 1: Musk said, I do think it was not correct to
- 36:26Speaker 1: ban Donald Trump. I think that was a mistake. I
- 36:29Speaker 1: would reverse the permanent band. Banning Trump from Twitter didn't
- 36:33Speaker 1: end Trump's voice. He is now going to be on
- 36:36Speaker 1: trup Social, that is his own social media platform. And
- 36:39Speaker 1: I think this could end up being frankly worse than
- 36:42Speaker 1: having a single forum where everyone could debate. Musk add
- 36:46Speaker 1: it that it is morally wrong and flat out stupid
- 36:49Speaker 1: and permanent band fundamentally fundamentally undermine trust in Twitter. So
- 36:55Speaker 1: bottom line, he's gonna let Trump back on Twitter Twitter,
- 37:00Speaker 1: you know, which just goes to show you just because
- 37:02Speaker 1: you have money don't don't make you wise. You know. Look, man,
- 37:07Speaker 1: you can have you can have money and still do
- 37:09Speaker 1: stupid things, and you can still have money and make
- 37:12Speaker 1: very unwise decisions, you know. But it's but it's the
- 37:15Speaker 1: thing that's got America in the position we're in today.
- 37:18Speaker 1: We are so free that we are overly free to
- 37:22Speaker 1: be free and not as freedom has ended up costing us.
- 37:26Speaker 1: We we lead, we lead the world in illegal drug use,
- 37:32Speaker 1: we lead the world and murders, we lead the world
- 37:35Speaker 1: in gun violence. Because we're free. We're free to buy,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you know, we're free to sell, you know, and we
- 37:43Speaker 1: and we freedom ourselves right up out of any moral
- 37:47Speaker 1: leverage we used to so called have as the moral
- 37:51Speaker 1: leaders in the free world, because because America is not
- 37:55Speaker 1: really all that moral if you look at it, you know,
- 38:00Speaker 1: we're just not Yeah, and so I you know, man,
- 38:05Speaker 1: this is really you know, and then Elon Musk got
- 38:07Speaker 1: enough money to buy Twitter. Now he won't put Donald
- 38:10Speaker 1: back on three like he you know, it's just this foolishness. Yeah.
- 38:18Speaker 1: More more racism, more separation, all of that. So what
- 38:23Speaker 1: level does social media bear the responsibility of drawing the
- 38:27Speaker 1: line with that? I don't even know that they care
- 38:30Speaker 1: to have a right. Yeah, you know, I agree once again.
- 38:35Speaker 1: You know, you know, we keep going back to this freedom,
- 38:39Speaker 1: the First Amendment and all of this right here, you know,
- 38:42Speaker 1: with the problem we have is we don't have enough
- 38:44Speaker 1: laws in place to an act. So now you are
- 38:48Speaker 1: free to do whatever you want to do. You're free
- 38:50Speaker 1: to bring charges against a person with no marriage, and
- 38:53Speaker 1: then when it don't work out, you are free to
- 38:55Speaker 1: go home and relax and watch TV. You still freedom,
- 39:01Speaker 1: all right. It's the world we live in right now.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Somebody in this country, get a good enough lawyer and
- 39:06Speaker 1: get off. Yeah, coming up with thirty four minutes after
- 39:10Speaker 1: the hour, We're gonna switch gears. The fans that touched
- 39:14Speaker 1: Chris Paul's family have been banned from the American Airline
- 39:18Speaker 1: Center for a year and a half. We'll talk about
- 39:20Speaker 1: that right after the air. You're listening to show. Well,
- 39:26Speaker 1: we talked about this earlier this week. The two Dallas
- 39:29Speaker 1: Mavericks fans that touched Chris Paul's mother and his wife
- 39:32Speaker 1: at a game recently have been banned from the American
- 39:35Speaker 1: Airlines Center until twenty twenty three. Dallas Mavericks issued this statement.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Two unruly fans attempted to give unwanted hugs and talk
- 39:45Speaker 1: with members of the Paul family. Security responded immediately, and
- 39:49Speaker 1: the fans were swiftly ejected from the game and will
- 39:52Speaker 1: not be allowed to return to the arena until twenty
- 39:55Speaker 1: twenty three. T and T analyst Kenny Smith elaborated on
- 39:58Speaker 1: the situation. Yeah, next year, but the rest of this
- 40:02Speaker 1: year and the next year, yeah, the rest of this year.
- 40:08Speaker 1: TANT analyst Kenny Smith elaborated on the situation, saying he
- 40:12Speaker 1: spoke with Paul's mother, who told him that an inebriated
- 40:16Speaker 1: fan continually poked her while saying Happy Mother's Day despite
- 40:21Speaker 1: her telling him to stop. Poking and hugging are two
- 40:25Speaker 1: very different things, all right. We can all acknowledge that
- 40:28Speaker 1: now I'm lost. The sixteen year old inebriated he needs
- 40:34Speaker 1: his answer too. Fish tell me, I'm gonna see you again. See,
- 40:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna see m as stupid like what? Yeah? Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: you know this stuff has been going on. You know
- 40:54Speaker 1: there has been an increase in incidences with disruptive fans
- 40:58Speaker 1: since the return of fan ends to stadiums and arena
- 41:01Speaker 1: so um, we might see a lot more of this.
- 41:04Speaker 1: You know. They should be banned for life. Yeah, a
- 41:10Speaker 1: year until next You cannot put your hands on a
- 41:13Speaker 1: player's mother and wife. Say it again, y'all, I'm gonna
- 41:19Speaker 1: say it again. We got to start whooping people's ass.
- 41:23Speaker 1: We got to get back to that. We got to
- 41:27Speaker 1: we have gotten away from it, and here it looks
- 41:30Speaker 1: look what it has done. It. Don't take but a
- 41:32Speaker 1: couple of examples and we will have this problem taking
- 41:35Speaker 1: care of. We got to start whooping answering. But I mean,
- 41:39Speaker 1: the the nerve of you to keep poking her saying
- 41:43Speaker 1: happy mother's Day, Happy mother's Day. I mean, how annoying
- 41:48Speaker 1: and crazy is that? What are you thinking? Okay, you're drunk.
- 41:53Speaker 1: We get it. But it must have been are there too.
- 41:56Speaker 1: There must have been two different people, because, like Tommy said,
- 41:59Speaker 1: it was a sixteen year old wasn't drawing. He couldn't,
- 42:01Speaker 1: he couldn't do different people that. Okay, well they're fans
- 42:05Speaker 1: with with the nest so year old daddy, it's about
- 42:10Speaker 1: to be involved. You don't get to just make Yeah, yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 1: this is h because we all know if it was
- 42:23Speaker 1: a black kid, lifetime fan for life, life you hool again.
- 42:30Speaker 1: You can't come ever ever coming here. Every assault charges yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 1: all of that, all of that, all of the above. Yeah, wow,
- 42:42Speaker 1: too much going on. Can't run to the stage. It's
- 42:48Speaker 1: this world. It's just crazy right now. And we just
- 42:52Speaker 1: got back into the sports arenas and stuff once again.
- 42:56Speaker 1: What nephew, we got to hoop that we got You
- 43:04Speaker 1: said it like a crisis. I know. I promise whoever
- 43:08Speaker 1: was drunk would have sobered right on up in that
- 43:11Speaker 1: airbom immediately. What are you doing? Just what are you doing?
- 43:16Speaker 1: What do you think it's going on? Steve? What everybody
- 43:19Speaker 1: you know? Well, I mean, you know it's the freedoms again,
- 43:22Speaker 1: you know, it's the freedom with our consequences. We just
- 43:25Speaker 1: we don't have the right consequences in place, and the
- 43:29Speaker 1: consequences that are in place are withheld to a certain
- 43:32Speaker 1: group of people, and we full well know who those
- 43:37Speaker 1: people are because we how many times do we look,
- 43:40Speaker 1: look and listen to news stories and end up saying
- 43:43Speaker 1: we know good in hair, well, if that was us,
- 43:45Speaker 1: what would have happened in this instance? But it never
- 43:49Speaker 1: does happen the other way, so it continues to happen.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And I mean, you know, look, man, look, I'm tired
- 43:56Speaker 1: of complaining about it. So for those of you that's
- 43:59Speaker 1: tired of hearing it, we are most certainly if you're
- 44:02Speaker 1: tired of hearing it, how you think it feels to
- 44:05Speaker 1: be tired of it? Happening to and watching it from
- 44:08Speaker 1: from from this angle, it's just be thinking of it.
- 44:10Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm so sick of it all right. Coming

- 54:07Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter,
- 54:10Speaker 1: thankn nephew. Subject my husband and his life partner. Dear
- 54:15Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I've been married for twenty seven years to
- 54:18Speaker 1: a man that made a beautiful life for me and
- 54:22Speaker 1: our four children. He's been to every school program, graduation,
- 54:26Speaker 1: medical appointment, and each child's extra curricular activities. He showered
- 54:32Speaker 1: me with gifts on special occasions and on ordinary days
- 54:35Speaker 1: of a week. This is why I can't believe what
- 54:39Speaker 1: I have found out recently. For the past eleven years,
- 54:44Speaker 1: he's been dealing with the woman that lives forty five
- 54:47Speaker 1: miles from our home and he has two children by
- 54:52Speaker 1: this woman. I want to get botox and was in
- 54:56Speaker 1: the waiting room with this woman and her ten year
- 54:59Speaker 1: old son. The boy's name is Julius, and he looks
- 55:02Speaker 1: exactly like my nineteen year old son. My husband's name
- 55:07Speaker 1: is Julius. This woman was wearing a ring on her
- 55:10Speaker 1: right hand that is identical to the right hand ring
- 55:14Speaker 1: my husband, Julius, gave me for Valentine's Day this year.
- 55:19Speaker 1: My heart was racing so fast. When I complimented her
- 55:22Speaker 1: on the ring and I showed her my ring, she
- 55:25Speaker 1: said her life partner gave it to her for Valentine's Day.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I asked her his name, and she said it's Julius.
- 55:35Speaker 1: She had no idea, no idea that my heart was
- 55:39Speaker 1: about to jump out of my body. Maybe she does
- 55:42Speaker 1: not know that Julius is married, and she was unaware
- 55:45Speaker 1: that I'm his wife, Or was she? I skipped my
- 55:50Speaker 1: appointment and went to Julius's job and asked him to
- 55:52Speaker 1: step outside. I told him that I've met his life partner,
- 55:56Speaker 1: and he dropped to his knees and cried controllably. He
- 56:01Speaker 1: told me that he loves us both the same, but
- 56:04Speaker 1: he never ever would have let her come between our marriage.
- 56:08Speaker 1: He said he has two outside children, and he pays
- 56:11Speaker 1: her mortgage and spends a considerable amount of time with
- 56:15Speaker 1: her and the children. I don't know what to do now.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I don't want to leave him, so would I be
- 56:22Speaker 1: crazy to stay? What should I do? Oh, it's gonna
- 56:26Speaker 1: be good. Sure. I don't have a lot to say
- 56:29Speaker 1: on this one. I don't. I don't have a lot
- 56:32Speaker 1: to say on this I said a lot. Listen comment
- 56:39Speaker 1: bring it down. I'm disgusted by your husband's behavior, I
- 56:43Speaker 1: really am, and I don't know how he could have
- 56:45Speaker 1: gotten away with this for eleven years. Eleven years. I
- 56:50Speaker 1: know you want to stay in this, but you gotta
- 56:52Speaker 1: get out of this marriage. It's over. Your husband has
- 56:54Speaker 1: caused you some unimaginable pain. I know he has the worst,
- 56:59Speaker 1: being unpre tected sex with the so called life partner,
- 57:03Speaker 1: him saying he loves you both, and having two kids
- 57:06Speaker 1: by her. I know you're hurt. I know you're confused.
- 57:09Speaker 1: I know you're feeling betrayed right now. But after you
- 57:11Speaker 1: throw him out and get yourself together, you gotta try
- 57:15Speaker 1: to pick up the pieces and move on from this.
- 57:17Speaker 1: He doesn't deserve you. He can have his life partner,
- 57:20Speaker 1: as far as I'm concerned. Maybe then he'll see how
- 57:23Speaker 1: he hurt you. And destroyed this family. I know you
- 57:26Speaker 1: said you love him and you don't want to leave,
- 57:28Speaker 1: but what choice do you really have in this You're
- 57:30Speaker 1: gonna be one of his two wives or whatever. I mean.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Eleven years of cheating, you will never ever be able
- 57:37Speaker 1: to trust this man again ever, And that makes this
- 57:42Speaker 1: marriage older over because he broke the trust. Steve, I'm mad,
- 57:47Speaker 1: counselor hey, well, well, let us review in only the
- 57:54Speaker 1: ways that I can trust and believe. I've been married
- 57:59Speaker 1: twenty seven years to a man that's listened to me. Y'all,
- 58:03Speaker 1: has given me a beautiful life for me and our
- 58:07Speaker 1: four children. He has been to every school program, graduation,
- 58:14Speaker 1: medical appointment, all the extracurriculum activities. He has showered with
- 58:19Speaker 1: this woman with gifts on special occasions and on ordinary
- 58:24Speaker 1: days of the week. What a man, What a man,
- 58:29Speaker 1: What a mighty good man. These are salt and pepper
- 58:34Speaker 1: lyrics in Vogue lyrics. This is why I can't believe
- 58:40Speaker 1: what I found out recently. And she says for the
- 58:43Speaker 1: pasts eleven years he's been dealing with a woman that
- 58:47Speaker 1: lives forty five miles from my house and got two
- 58:51Speaker 1: children by this woman. My only comment in here is
- 58:56Speaker 1: oh Loyd. Then I went to get both tox Here
- 59:02Speaker 1: we go. Now you don't you're gonna hate me for this,
- 59:06Speaker 1: But this is the problem in this whole damn that
- 59:11Speaker 1: I went to get both tops. You had just accepted
- 59:17Speaker 1: the way God made you instead of trying to improve
- 59:22Speaker 1: on what he had already done. You're married to a
- 59:28Speaker 1: wonderful man that is giving you a beautiful life and
- 59:31Speaker 1: made every school appointment he's been in the graduation, extracurriculum
- 59:35Speaker 1: activities and the Shower of Gift. Oh no, you dine
- 59:40Speaker 1: there thinking you one of these people on social media
- 59:43Speaker 1: that you took your old ass downhill to get yourself
- 59:46Speaker 1: some damn boath tops and sitting up in the room
- 59:50Speaker 1: and in the room with a woman and her ten
- 59:53Speaker 1: year old son and the boy named Julius, and he
- 59:56Speaker 1: looked exactly like my nineteen year old son. Obviously, this
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: is an attractive man because he's not down and there
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: getting himself with both tops. But give over and he
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: picked got Kenny, get both. I don't know what he's
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: doing y'all in their bed room that's recordings, but this boy,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: right he'll is bringing it. He is bringing it. So
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: both y'all got to go get fillers. Who hats off
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to homing this all right? He held it a handbasket. Yeah,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: all right. We'll have part two of your response coming up.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Today's strawberry letter. My husband and his life partner will
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: get into it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. My husband
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and his life partner. The name of his letters should
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: be old Fu. Yeah, twenty seven years to and they
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: got four children. He's been every school appointment, extra curriculum activity,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: medical appointment, graduations and everything. The students outstanding. He has
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: showered this woman with gifts on every special occasion and
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: on ordinary days too. She has no complaint. He is
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: a wonderful man. Now she's shocked to find out that
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: this man has been dealing with a woman that lived
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: forty five miles from our house. They had two children
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: with this woman. And you know how she found this out?
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Tell them she took herself down there to get some

- 1:10:03Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Today is Friday the thirteenth.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: But what does that really mean? We'll talk about it
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: right afternoon. You're listening to the same hard morning show. Well,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: today is Friday the thirteenth, and none of us on
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: this show are superstitious, but we might take an extra
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: measure of caution as we go about our day today.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Experts say that triscadecaphobia, or fear of the number thirteen,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: affects millions of people and businesses, especially airlines, suffer from
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: severe losses on Friday the thirteenth. Many high rise buildings, hotels,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: and hospitals skip the thirteenth floor, and many airports do
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: not have gates number thirteen. Some think it is bad
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: luck to thirteen people at the dinner table. One successful
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: thing about Friday the thirteenth is a horror movie franchise
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: that has produced twelve very scary Friday thirteenth movie. Yeah,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: since nineteen eighty. Yeah, So here's a question for you, guys.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Just fair. But everybody was scared, was scared, So Steve,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: just Friday the thirteenth affect you in any way? And
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: have you have you seen any of the Friday thirteenth movies?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I've never seen one? WHOA is that the one with
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Freddie Krueger? No, I don't understand. Yeah, I'm the one
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: thing I'd love to have thirteen meal. I take that. Yeah,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: ain't no bad luck with that. So when they don't
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: have when they don't have a thirteenth floor in a building?
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Is it there is the fourteenth floor? The thirteenth floor?
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: How does that work? That's what I always basic question.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: So when they go I'm just a when they go
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: from twelve to fourth, see, I mean, are we wasting
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: the whole floor? No, it's disappeared. It's a magic Are
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: you kidding me? Got it? You got it? And not
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: be a real question. I believe this is a basic
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: man problem. It's thirteen flows up that they just don't
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: give it the number thirteen right is there? Yeah? What? What?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: What are those Fridays the thirteenth movies about Africa? I
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: stopped watching them a long time. It's probably about on
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: a Friday that started like thirteen. That's on the thirteen.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I forget. It's okay, Jason, that's what I got. Got
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: the hockey mask on? Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. That was
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: scary and he killing, he killing everybody that can't put
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: it in a little vacation. People don't go out you're
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: seeing show. Yeah, I'll never made it. No, they ain't
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: never made it. And that was the first three D
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: movie I think call it you put the shades on
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you know, yeah, really the three D glasses. I think
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I've only seen Friday thirties one time, but I liked
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the number thirteen. My first day is on That's right,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: that's right, I told me thirteen. So I like, we're
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: not superstitious? No, go nah, don't you worry about it.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: You believe in any superstitions like splitting the pole, breaking
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: a mirror, breaking a mirror and all that. Walking under
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: a ladder. Yeah, black black cat, the h black cat.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: You see? Well, you know, huh, Short people have to
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: jump harder. I know that what I Friday? What kind
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: of hells short got in this whole superstiss thing? How
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: did that come about? I don't know? But why are
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: you so touchy? Though you thought he was? Because he
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: always do when he just I always even ask him.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Don't short people have to jump hard to prove the
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: boy boy take some effort? Man, Short people, that's harder
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: for didn't get up on busing. Oh I had this
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: picture for you. I was short people harder for them?
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Get up in their truck. Short people get to the
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: corner and then you see that curb and there some
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: anxiety set in. Nothing, sir, No, you said about superstitions.

- 1:21:05Speaker 1: a shout out to Cornelius. He just got a job

- 1:21:12Speaker 1: Cornel You go ahead, man, do your thing. Any shout outs,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: go ahead, get a shout out to the baker that
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: gave me that croissant or the day absolutely delicious. Just
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: beat into it in butter Win everywhere, Junior and it
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: shout out. Yeah. Let me give a shout out to
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the people to do the valet trash in my apartments.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I ain't never even seen you, but I showed saved
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: me that walk. I can't never even know what you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: look like, but you there don't because the trash ain't
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: in the morning when I go out there so appreciate you.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Brun one. Most shout out to Lucy O my yard man,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: you one incredible yard man, My man. I want to
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: show man love to Lucio Man, Lucy, Lucio Cold, twenty
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: five minute Lucio front back, everything laid down gone, I
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: have to drive away. That's a bad boy right there, Lucio, Steve.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: What's the best advice? What is the best advice you
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: were ever given and that you that someone gave to you,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: and that you ever gave. How about that? I don't know, man,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: That's a hard question. Because I've received so much stuff
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: that's been valuable over the years. I don't know. The
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: most valuable thing I've learned was my mother, just her
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: whole helping me understand how important faith was. That was
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: it for me? He instilling that in me has aided
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: me more so than any piece of information I've ever had.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: When I didn't know I had faith, I could have
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: faith when I was lost. Faith bought me out when
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: they wrote me off. Faith bought me out when I
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: ain't see no way how faith bought me out. So
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I think the lesson that my mother gave me about
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: faith has been the most valuable lesson, and that's the
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: most valuable lesson that I pass out too. I don't.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I can't give a person a better piece of advice
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: to that, because with all your education and all your money,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: without faith, you will fail, Yes, sir, you will fail
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: without it. I'm sorry to inform you of the fact,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: but you will fail without it. Wow, we have the
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: same one. That's the best advice my mom ever gave
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: me as well, the best. Yep, anybody else any questions? Tommy,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: you got a question for your uncle? I know you do, y,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I got one that's been kind of puzzling when you
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: when you I don't know. I you know, we all
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: try to give our kids more than what we had.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: We do it. We've following death, how do you? And
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: we've done it? And now your your child is getting
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: ready to go like my got a daughter getting ready
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: to go to college. So it's kind of like I've
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: giving you almost everything and I shouldn't have done that.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: You know, how do you adjust them for the world
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: as it really is gonna be because everybody and nobody's
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: gonna give you everything and it's not gonna happen. But
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: we did it. I think you know, we've all done it,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and I think that's a major problem. And everybody I've
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: ever talked to that's made a success of themselves that
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: he had children who have benefited from this success grapple
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: with the same thing all the time. They will get it. Eventually.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: It would be a lot of disappointments for you. It
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: would be a lot of moments of how could you,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: A lot of moments of how I dare you? That
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: would be a lot of moments of I can't believe you.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: But then you have to point to finger it yourself
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: because you created this by enabling them, and then you
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: do this out of guilt. You know a lot of
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: times you do things for your children out of guilt.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: But you got to be conscious of that because children
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: are very very smart. Man. They are master manipulators, many
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: they really are. And they learned manipulation at a very
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: very early age. All of them do. And some of
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: them are much better at it than others, and some
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: of them carry it far too long. I have been
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: put in that position. I can't count the times and
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I've had to deal with it. But when I look
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: at them, man, I go wold the things I've done
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: for you, The sacrifices I've made for you, and now
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you're sitting here and I'm trying to tell you what
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: life is gonna happen. But the best thing I did
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: for my sons, and what are like? All my sons
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: are with me now, and the best advice when I
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: sit around and I listened to them, and they go, Dad,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: you told us that manhood was gonna come knocking and
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: if you don't open the door, it kick it in.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Went and told me the other day, Dad, I'm sitting
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: in my apartment right now with no doubt and manhood
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: just all in the damn. I said, yeah, sir, And
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: so they do eventually get it. Hopefully it's gonna take
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: some more prayers. Because you did this, you enable them
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: and because you want to give them a better life
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: than the one you had. But in giving them that life, man,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: you remove the struggles that you had. Yeah, and in
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: that you know you learned your best lesson. But trust
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: and believe life will pick up where you can't. Life
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: will pick up where you left off. Life got something
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: for the ass. Just sit tight and sit tight. It'll
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: all be all right. Life, life gonna gangster the ass.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: We're gonna hear a body. Yeah, Hey y'all. Y'all have
