- 0:01Speaker 1: Come on.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 0:08Speaker 2: to the voice, Come on, dig me now? Want it
- 0:11Speaker 2: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here we go.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I was working out. I was talking to a buddy
- 0:22Speaker 2: of mine, and I was telling him something that Bishop
- 0:26Speaker 2: TD Jakes told me one time. I heard him say it.
- 0:30Speaker 2: He said, I would hate to die and not do
- 0:36Speaker 2: the thing that I was born to do. I would
- 0:41Speaker 2: hate to die and not do the theme that I
- 0:46Speaker 2: was born to do. Man, oh man, oh man.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Man. That hit me like a.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Like a like a pile of bricks man, because it
- 0:56Speaker 2: made me feel so grateful that God has allowed me
- 1:04Speaker 2: to live my life this way now. And I'm talking
- 1:08Speaker 2: about grateful for all of it, the good, the bad,
- 1:12Speaker 2: and the ugly, and I have had all of them.
- 1:17Speaker 2: The person you see today, it ain't always who I was.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It was on the inside of me, but it hadn't
- 1:25Speaker 2: externalized itself, if that's a word. It hadn't been bought out.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It was in here, but it was under development. Who
- 1:34Speaker 2: I am today was a process. But like I said before,
- 1:40Speaker 2: don't trip. He ain't through with me yet. Even today,
- 1:46Speaker 2: I'm still an imperfect soldier for Christ.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Today.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I still fall short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what,
- 1:57Speaker 2: I'm ever grateful for the life I have. And you
- 2:01Speaker 2: know what, I want to encourage everybody today to explore
- 2:07Speaker 2: your possibilities. I mean, man, explore your possibilities. Why would
- 2:15Speaker 2: you not want to find out, discover, or know what
- 2:24Speaker 2: it is God got for you? Why would you not
- 2:28Speaker 2: want to achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Now, as I ask you this.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Question, I want you to know that the devil is busy,
- 2:38Speaker 2: that he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this,
- 2:41Speaker 2: I already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 2:45Speaker 2: that's easy for you to say, but I didne got
- 2:48Speaker 2: myself in this situation right here. You ain't nothing too
- 2:51Speaker 2: hard for God, nothing nothing. And see, so as you
- 2:58Speaker 2: listen to me, try to try to get your mind
- 3:01Speaker 2: open to this. Why would you not want to explore
- 3:05Speaker 2: all of your life's possibilities? What's possible with your life?
- 3:10Speaker 2: And I'm talking about from right where you are right now.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I'm not asking you to change, I'm not asking you
- 3:18Speaker 2: to do anything. I'm telling you this is a fact
- 3:21Speaker 2: that God can get you from right where you are
- 3:25Speaker 2: right now, broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken, all of that, misfortunate,
- 3:41Speaker 2: all of the missus you've been talking about in your life.
- 3:44Speaker 3: You know you.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I missed the lottery, I missed my ride. They fired me.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I missed the deadline. I didn't get it. Miss people. People,
- 3:54Speaker 2: people just missed they self to death. If you've been
- 3:58Speaker 2: all the missus, God can get you from right where
- 4:01Speaker 2: you are. God a home run hitter. I'm here to
- 4:05Speaker 2: tell you that he's a home run hitter. He's a
- 4:07Speaker 2: put him over the wall whenever he want to, all
- 4:10Speaker 2: the time, and you can be a recipient of some
- 4:12Speaker 2: of these home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand.
- 4:15Speaker 2: But you got to swing. Now, listen to me. You
- 4:18Speaker 2: got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got to
- 4:21Speaker 2: stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He won't
- 4:25Speaker 2: hold you down about it if you don't hold yourself
- 4:28Speaker 2: down about it. But I'm gonna tell you one more time.
- 4:30Speaker 2: The devil is busy. So what the devil do is
- 4:33Speaker 2: He make you think you ain't worthy. He make you
- 4:36Speaker 2: think that you've done something so despicable that you can't
- 4:39Speaker 2: come back from it. He makes you feel like you
- 4:41Speaker 2: so low you can't go up high.
- 4:43Speaker 1: He knocked you.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Down and make you feel like you've been knocked down
- 4:46Speaker 2: hard than anybody else. You can't get up. He rolled
- 4:48Speaker 2: you so deep down in that ditch you can't see
- 4:50Speaker 2: over the edge. God can come get you from no
- 4:54Speaker 2: matter where you are. I'm telling you, man, you ain't
- 4:58Speaker 2: in no hold too deep for God. Magic Johnson to
- 5:02Speaker 2: tell you that. Listen to me, you ain't in no
- 5:05Speaker 2: hole too deep for God. Steve Harvey can tell you
- 5:08Speaker 2: that you ain't in a hole too deep for God.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Tyler Perry can tell you that I can name you
- 5:14Speaker 2: some people. Bishop Jake can tell you that. I could
- 5:17Speaker 2: tell you. Kenneth Olmah can tell you that. Bishop Kenneth
- 5:19Speaker 2: Omar I could tell you some people. Kirk Franklin can
- 5:22Speaker 2: tell you that. Donny Mcclerklin can tell you that I
- 5:25Speaker 2: just know some people personally man that then been in
- 5:27Speaker 2: a hole. Joel Oldstein can tell your body, I know
- 5:32Speaker 2: some people man been down, been in a hole so deep.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I bet you. Paula Dean can tell you about it. See,
- 5:40Speaker 1: but you know what, then here we.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Go see see see you know, see we don't like
- 5:46Speaker 2: to talk about that because now we want everybody to
- 5:49Speaker 2: pay extra hard for some mistakes they made when clearly
- 5:52Speaker 2: an excuse me for being a new Christian. But there
- 5:55Speaker 2: is a prayer that I've been saying since I was
- 5:57Speaker 2: a little bitty boy, and it took me till I
- 5:59Speaker 2: was grown man to understand it. Forgive us our trust
- 6:02Speaker 2: passes as we forgive those who trust pass against us.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So see, it ain't my job to hold nobody down,
- 6:10Speaker 2: to keep my knee on somebody's neck.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Who am I.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a second here, probably today.
- 6:18Speaker 2: See so all this you holding people down with the
- 6:21Speaker 2: way you feel and about them, And she shouldn't have
- 6:23Speaker 2: said this, and she'll never get it. I'll never support
- 6:25Speaker 2: this again. Man, get up, get up and get real,
- 6:29Speaker 2: you for real. You think you ain't finn need forgiveness
- 6:31Speaker 2: real soon? You ain't finna make a diabolical mistake in
- 6:34Speaker 2: your life. You don't think you are. I have thousands
- 6:38Speaker 2: of them, probably gonna make a few hundred more for
- 6:40Speaker 2: I get up out of here. So I've decided to
- 6:43Speaker 2: be in a forgiving business because I want God to
- 6:47Speaker 2: forgive my trust passes as I forgive those who trustpass
- 6:51Speaker 2: against me.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You understand, see excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I get tired of talking to picton to people man
- 7:00Speaker 2: and supposed to be saved and talking about dead Christian.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I don't want that type of religion.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Man.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I ain't in that, no more. I ain't in that.
- 7:05Speaker 2: You can call me wrong if you want to say
- 7:07Speaker 2: it how you want to say. I ain't in that,
- 7:08Speaker 2: no more. I ain't in all that. You can feel
- 7:10Speaker 2: how you want to feel about me. But I got
- 7:12Speaker 2: proof that God work in my life. You know, I
- 7:15Speaker 2: can't hardly get it out sometime when people ask me
- 7:17Speaker 2: something about depot on the inside of me, about my
- 7:20Speaker 2: soul and how I used to be, and my journey
- 7:22Speaker 2: and my trip because people don't know the trip I've
- 7:24Speaker 2: been on. You may have been on one worse than me,
- 7:27Speaker 2: but you know what you ain't in a whole too deep.
- 7:29Speaker 1: God can't get you out of.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And I wish I want people to remember that man,
- 7:34Speaker 2: God is a redeemer, He the great I am. So
- 7:38Speaker 2: if you ain't got nothing, now what you asking for?
- 7:41Speaker 2: You know you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 7:43Speaker 2: asking for nothing. Quit asking God to get you out
- 7:46Speaker 2: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 7:51Speaker 2: You keep asking to get out of debt, you keep
- 7:53Speaker 2: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 7:55Speaker 2: what you asking God for? I'm just tripping today, that's all.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 8:00Speaker 5: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I have completely bought into the concept that what happens
- 8:15Speaker 2: on a daily basis can only happen because of God.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I'm sold on that concept. I can't even there's nothing
- 8:25Speaker 2: else to consider. I want you all to start thinking
- 8:27Speaker 2: about this now, how amazingly blessed you are to still
- 8:33Speaker 2: be here with another chance, another opportunity, another day, which
- 8:39Speaker 2: is why they call it the present. It is a
- 8:43Speaker 2: gift to us all. You gotta start looking at it
- 8:45Speaker 2: like that. Charlotte Strawberry called it for real, Mississippi Monica
- 8:49Speaker 2: Junior's out today and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Ladies, how y'all doing today? Pretty good? Man? Pretty good?
- 9:02Speaker 1: You know what? I'm grateful for? What that?
- 9:06Speaker 2: A lot of times I just know how to shut up,
- 9:11Speaker 2: Just don't say nothing.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Not on this show, but you mean just in life.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And on this show too, tho.
- 9:19Speaker 6: It's just.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Give you that we've worked together for twenty five years.
- 9:27Speaker 1: You know good. Well, I ain't said everything I've wanted
- 9:30Speaker 1: to say, nor should I do. And I want to think.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I want to think the people out there that constantly
- 9:39Speaker 2: shows me examples of just sometimes just shut your mouth right.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Up.
- 9:49Speaker 7: My wife tells me all the time, it's all right
- 9:51Speaker 7: to shut up. It's all right, it's all wrong.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's it's it's time consuming.
- 9:59Speaker 8: You.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I ain't got the backpedal.
- 10:02Speaker 2: You ain't got to keep you ain't got to come
- 10:05Speaker 2: on and try to fix nothing.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Just bruh. And do you know what I've really learned lately?
- 10:11Speaker 2: And it's mostly from podcasts because I've discovered something. I
- 10:14Speaker 2: was talking with Charlemagne on the stage at Earn e
- 10:16Speaker 2: Lesion and podcasts got people tripping, they think because they're
- 10:22Speaker 2: on the podcast, because they're not on radio like us.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Well, we got FCC rules and stuff.
- 10:28Speaker 2: You think a podcast open up the gate and makes
- 10:31Speaker 2: you more free, it does because there's less restrictions on it.
- 10:35Speaker 1: But when you go on.
- 10:37Speaker 2: The podcast as a guest, you do have to remember
- 10:40Speaker 2: that you still have a brand.
- 10:42Speaker 7: Yes.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Can we go back for a second because I just
- 10:46Speaker 5: need an example. Does anything come to mind when you
- 10:49Speaker 5: held back on this show because I'm struggling right now.
- 10:53Speaker 6: I have to be girl. We got plenty amples, bring
- 11:01Speaker 6: them up. Not gonna be honest, I'm struggling.
- 11:05Speaker 1: With that one.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I held back on comments about let me give you
- 11:11Speaker 2: a prime example of anticipating in female sports. I've restricted
- 11:18Speaker 2: my real thoughts on that. It just gave some like
- 11:22Speaker 2: cookie cutter answer yeah.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Instead of what I wanted to say.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Okay, well, thank you for that, because this is your sure.
- 11:31Speaker 6: I was struggling. I'm sorry this man you got nervous.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Just now.

- 11:40Speaker 5: gonna hear from the nephew as he runs that break back.

- 12:05Speaker 5: vaccines come in. They help train and strengthen your immune

- 21:29Speaker 5: Talisha writes, I took out my protective style and I
- 21:33Speaker 5: didn't have time to get my hair braided before picking
- 21:36Speaker 5: up my husband at the airport. He looked at my
- 21:39Speaker 5: hair and said I shouldn't ever go out like that
- 21:42Speaker 5: because I represent him.
- 21:44Speaker 6: How does my hair affect him?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't. I don't know what a protective style is,
- 21:52Speaker 2: but it's.
- 21:52Speaker 6: Like braids, braids. Braids you raise your hair up and
- 21:56Speaker 6: then you put your wig on your.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Wied or whatever.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah. So she didn't do the braids.
- 22:03Speaker 5: She took the braids out and just went to the
- 22:06Speaker 5: airport to pick up her husband.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Hairstyle.
- 22:15Speaker 1: She was a national geographic Yeah, so here's the problem
- 22:20Speaker 1: is the man, Yes, a man.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Choose as a woman similar to the way a woman
- 22:28Speaker 2: chooses a man. You want a man that provides you
- 22:32Speaker 2: with certain things. That's why you pick him. That's period.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You don't pick a man where you got to do
- 22:39Speaker 2: all the provision for you. Pick a man who can
- 22:42Speaker 2: provide some things for you. We pick a woman. A
- 22:46Speaker 2: lot of our choices are esthetics because we know now
- 22:50Speaker 2: you represent us. How well our wife does is a
- 22:54Speaker 2: direct reflection of how we do it as a man.
- 22:58Speaker 2: If your wife walking around raggedy, then it looks crazy
- 23:04Speaker 2: on you because how come you ain't taking care of
- 23:07Speaker 2: your girl?
- 23:08Speaker 1: Now you done drove down?
- 23:10Speaker 2: Now, ain't did nothing with your hat to pick your

- 23:18Speaker 2: He been in his seat taking care of business. He
- 23:22Speaker 2: come out to the car. See, you can't have a
- 23:29Speaker 2: rap name. When I come out to the car.
- 23:35Speaker 6: It's beautiful.
- 23:36Speaker 2: What do you mean though, No, no, if your hair
- 23:40Speaker 2: was beautiful, Oh my god, yeah what I'm saying, But
- 23:46Speaker 2: I just said, you can't have a rap name. GLORI
- 23:49Speaker 2: cute little girl.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, it's pie.
- 23:52Speaker 5: But yeah, even if we were little, we couldn't go out.
- 23:56Speaker 6: I mean, that's how we grew up.
- 23:57Speaker 5: We couldn't go outside looking in a certain way because
- 24:00Speaker 5: we represented our parents, our families.
- 24:02Speaker 1: That's right.
- 24:02Speaker 2: See all this y'all out in public with all these
- 24:05Speaker 2: pajamas on and bonnets and big house getting on this
- 24:09Speaker 2: plane like y'all need to go on the camping trip.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The plane ride ain't that long.
- 24:14Speaker 6: You couldn't do it.

- 24:19Speaker 2: you and coach. You ain't got that much room in
- 24:22Speaker 2: your chair. You got all this stuff you all all
- 24:27Speaker 2: over in the other person's seat. You ain't coach. You
- 24:30Speaker 2: ain't got no room for all this stuff. You've got
- 24:33Speaker 2: laundry bas.

- 24:52Speaker 2: No, it's dumb. You got a coach seat, You ain't
- 24:55Speaker 2: got that much room. You got a house pillar, you
- 24:58Speaker 2: got a neck brace, you got you know they went
- 25:03Speaker 2: a little.
- 25:04Speaker 6: Neck cushion, Yeah, a little.
- 25:07Speaker 1: All that and a pillow that matter, what's the.
- 25:11Speaker 12: And they got pajamas on, flippers, house slippers.
- 25:18Speaker 1: See that.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I want to be comfortable when I fly. No, you
- 25:22Speaker 2: want to represent yourself when you fly.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Yeah, all right.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Uh, moving on to fairly in sect sagana fairly rights.
- 25:32Speaker 5: I keep condoms because I am a high school basketball coach.
- 25:36Speaker 5: My wife found the condoms when she went in my
- 25:39Speaker 5: work bag to get a phone charger. I didn't think
- 25:42Speaker 5: to tell her that I pass out condoms. How do
- 25:44Speaker 5: I convince her that they're not for me?
- 25:47Speaker 1: It's too late. That's gonna be a hull.
- 25:49Speaker 6: You think it's too late, it's.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Too yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 6: You should have been said that you don't have a
- 25:56Speaker 6: good life for him.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Well if you, if you pass our's why you got him?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Who was down at the school yesterday?
- 26:07Speaker 2: Well there's twelve people on the team.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, if.
- 26:13Speaker 2: You give everybody two, If you got two, that's a max.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Is twenty four, that's a max.

- 27:15Speaker 6: What does that matter? What is wrong with him? I'm
- 27:20Speaker 6: not sure. I'm not sure, but it's something. Next question
- 27:24Speaker 6: all I can say. Here we go Olitha in Braquel.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 27:29Speaker 5: My twenty six year old son still lives at home
- 27:32Speaker 5: with me. His girlfriend is always here, and I've asked
- 27:35Speaker 5: him to keep the door to his bedroom open at
- 27:37Speaker 5: all times. Yesterday he told me he's not a child,
- 27:40Speaker 5: and he slammed his door in my face. My sister said,
- 27:45Speaker 5: I need to put him out of my home immediately.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Are there any other option?
- 27:49Speaker 1: No, put him out your house immediately.
- 27:53Speaker 2: If you got house rules and he don't want to abeil, No,
- 27:57Speaker 2: it's crazy of you to have a grown man's in
- 28:00Speaker 2: your house. That's start number two. You gotta keep your
- 28:04Speaker 2: bedroom door open at all time. Poo didn't do that,
- 28:08Speaker 2: so now put him out? But does in front of
- 28:16Speaker 2: in your mama face in her house. It's time for
- 28:20Speaker 2: you to go.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Yeah, he twenty six?
- 28:26Speaker 6: All right, thank you. Colo.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
- 28:33Speaker 5: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 28:36Speaker 5: listening Hardy Morning Show. Well, according to People magazine. Jamie
- 28:45Speaker 5: Fox was very upset after someone threw a glass bottle
- 28:49Speaker 5: at wrapper Glorilla during her on stage performance at a
- 28:52Speaker 5: party slash festival organized by his seventeen year old daughter
- 28:57Speaker 5: ann Alise. And this was all at Jamie Fox's Los
- 28:59Speaker 5: Angeles home. Jamie got on the mic and addressed the crowd. Quote,
- 29:03Speaker 5: why would you do something like that? You all don't
- 29:06Speaker 5: deserve this sugar honey iced tea. That's effed up, bro,
- 29:10Speaker 5: he continued, I'm so disappointed. He went on to say,
- 29:13Speaker 5: you threw some sugar honey iced tea at my house.
- 29:16Speaker 6: That ain't cool. End quote.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Glorilla eventually finished her performance, and you know, I mean,
- 29:23Speaker 5: I guess she said she wasn't. It didn't really bother her,
- 29:26Speaker 5: but yeah, come on, now she threw a glass bottle.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Let me explain something to you.
- 29:33Speaker 2: If you throw something at somebody on the stage in
- 29:35Speaker 2: my house, yeah, and I know it's you. We ain't
- 29:39Speaker 2: got to go to the mic. I'm so disappointed. I'm
- 29:44Speaker 2: warm in you. I'm gonna have some people warm you
- 29:48Speaker 2: so so good. I'm talking about what yo, you know
- 29:55Speaker 2: what not for real? And you gonna get beat at
- 30:01Speaker 2: my house for that one.
- 30:04Speaker 13: I mean, these are kids. I assume that his daughter
- 30:06Speaker 13: is seventeen. Yeah, these are kids. And you throw something
- 30:10Speaker 13: at this woman a glass bottle while.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Someone threw it at Hold. Hold you need to cut
- 30:21Speaker 1: your head, said.
- 30:21Speaker 7: So early here as he said, yes, So that's why
- 30:27Speaker 7: I'm asking again.
- 30:28Speaker 2: No, somebody in the audience threw something that Glorilla while
- 30:32Speaker 2: she was performing.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Because it's been a trend, you know, people throwing things
- 30:36Speaker 5: at artists on stage.
- 30:38Speaker 6: That's been going on for a while.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, see we didn't we do that now nothing because.
- 30:45Speaker 6: That's dangerous.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Everybody come off the stage. In the seventies, Cardi B.
- 30:51Speaker 6: Someone threw something at Cardi B. I mean, this has
- 30:54Speaker 6: been going on.
- 30:55Speaker 1: You couldn't throw nothing that Boosty Collins.
- 30:57Speaker 6: He was gonna be what about you, George Clinton.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Whole horse section fire. No, no, we will do that.
- 31:10Speaker 1: You throw it stiff.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Yeah, that's just respectful.
- 31:14Speaker 2: But the order has made you accountable back then because
- 31:16Speaker 2: concerts was all we had. I don't know, man, it's
- 31:19Speaker 2: just a different it's just a different generation now.
- 31:22Speaker 8: Man.
- 31:23Speaker 5: That's just respectful, very much. So, all right, moving on
- 31:26Speaker 5: to go ahead. Other entertainment news. We previously told you
- 31:31Speaker 5: about the backlash that Bishop Marvin Winings received last week
- 31:34Speaker 5: after his donation incident with a church member went viral.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Well.
- 31:39Speaker 5: This past Sunday, Bishop Winans announced that multiple donors had
- 31:42Speaker 5: stepped up to help fund Perfecting Church's new Detroit location,
- 31:47Speaker 5: including our good friend Tyler Perry, who donated get this
- 31:51Speaker 5: one hundred thousand dollars now, according to Hollywood Unlocked. During
- 31:56Speaker 5: his remarks, Pastor Winan said that Tyler Perry had person
- 32:00Speaker 5: snowy requested his name be shared, standing firm and public solidarity.
- 32:05Speaker 5: What the devil meant for evil? God turned it around.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Pastor Winan's credited the turnaround to divine intervention, celebrating how
- 32:14Speaker 5: online criticism flipped into spiritual and financial blessing.
- 32:18Speaker 6: So there you go.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw that. I didn't understand it. I saw it.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I didn't. I saw. I saw what happened with the
- 32:27Speaker 1: woman who gave.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Again twelve hundred dollars.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Saw I saw his.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Marvin Wayne's response, and then I heard about you know,
- 32:37Speaker 2: all these people donating.
- 32:40Speaker 1: That's cool. I'm not. I don't know.
- 32:45Speaker 7: I'm still stuck on people in for turnitas and sororities
- 32:48Speaker 7: is going to hell. I'm still stuck on that.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so oh okay he said it.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I can't send no contribution based on that.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I can't send the thousand in and the thousand on
- 33:06Speaker 2: that out. I'm not gonna do that. And you just
- 33:09Speaker 2: told me, when the hell.
- 33:11Speaker 6: They take these things out of context?
- 33:13Speaker 2: You know, well, I'm just I'm not gonna I'm not
- 33:16Speaker 2: gonna send you two thousand and hand go.
- 33:18Speaker 1: To hell.
- 33:22Speaker 6: One of the other.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Past the wines were waiting for them. We're not for
- 33:28Speaker 2: to do that. I've always been a wine and family member.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I love the wine, but I'm not you two thousand
- 33:35Speaker 2: hand go to hate.
- 33:36Speaker 13: You know what I could die was not expecting makes
- 33:40Speaker 13: sense to.
- 33:41Speaker 6: Be one of those days, though.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It's just I just can't see it how you'd have
- 33:46Speaker 2: made the broad, sweeping statement that everybody in a fraternity
- 33:50Speaker 2: and a sorority going to hell, and then you got
- 33:55Speaker 2: all these people scared denouncing their fraternities and sororities.
- 33:59Speaker 1: When you can't really justify that statement you made.
- 34:03Speaker 5: I never heard the real, the entire statement. I never
- 34:07Speaker 5: heard the statement in its entirety.
- 34:09Speaker 1: I just never did, but I guess I did neither.
- 34:13Speaker 2: But I did hear the part about if you're in
- 34:15Speaker 2: one of these Greek organizations, you are.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Going to hell.
- 34:18Speaker 5: Because I don't know what made him say it, would
- 34:20Speaker 5: let up to it while he said, I don't know
- 34:22Speaker 5: any of the background.
- 34:23Speaker 2: And then he said he don't care what bishop gets
- 34:27Speaker 2: in what group. He standing by what he said, because
- 34:30Speaker 2: you know, it's just that all stem from this.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Uh.
- 34:33Speaker 2: We got a new frat brother in the frat, this bishop,
- 34:36Speaker 2: I forgot his name.
- 34:38Speaker 6: Bishop Murphy.
- 34:40Speaker 1: That's it.
- 34:44Speaker 6: From dream Center.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, oh bad boy. But now he's going to hell.
- 34:50Speaker 1: You know what? That that's why I just don't it.

- 37:11Speaker 1: Here's the thing that I disagree with.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Daylight saving when you make it, when you go back,
- 37:17Speaker 2: you fall back in the fall. And now it gets
- 37:21Speaker 2: dark early around five thirty five o'clock is dark outside,
- 37:27Speaker 2: which opens up your partner's conversation opens up earlier.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Where you being all night? Well seven? That see, that's what.

- 38:24Speaker 2: Now, Monday night football come on at eight. Yeah it's
- 38:27Speaker 2: been dark four hours. Hell, I'm sleeping now.
- 38:35Speaker 6: So your mind is playing all kinds of tricks on you.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:40Speaker 5: So, so it's saying focus on well being, taking care
- 38:43Speaker 5: of yourself, which will put you in the best mindset
- 38:45Speaker 5: to show up for the people you love. So which
- 38:49Speaker 5: one obviously you prefer. Spring forward, then fall back right
- 38:53Speaker 5: and read eye lose that hour.
- 38:55Speaker 1: And we're the only one that does that. Nobody else does.
- 39:01Speaker 5: And I something that we're going to cut it out.
- 39:02Speaker 5: I mean Biden talked about it. I thought Trump talked
- 39:06Speaker 5: about it.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Trump will do it, and Trump next week will put
- 39:10Speaker 2: the time right back.
- 39:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 5: Coming up in thirty four minutes after former Vice President
- 39:16Speaker 5: Kamala Harris leaves the door open for a twenty twenty
- 39:19Speaker 5: eight presidential run.
- 39:21Speaker 6: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 39:23Speaker 5: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, today is
- 39:30Speaker 5: a twenty eighth day of the government shut down, and
- 39:34Speaker 5: some federal workers are still showing up to work despite
- 39:38Speaker 5: not getting paid. Meanwhile, it appears at President Trump's top
- 39:42Speaker 5: priority is completing construction on this big ballroom, this big
- 39:46Speaker 5: three hundred million dollars ninety thousand square foot East Wing ballroom.
- 39:52Speaker 5: And what make it makes sense?
- 39:56Speaker 6: Please? I'm just day oh. And he's currently.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Alone to the country.
- 40:05Speaker 6: It's the people's House, the White House.
- 40:07Speaker 7: White House, So we ought to be able to go
- 40:09Speaker 7: use that anytime we get ready to throw a party whenever, whenever.
- 40:12Speaker 1: We want it.
- 40:12Speaker 9: Right, I like it, Tom, I can't even get through
- 40:15Speaker 9: the gate, right Yeah.
- 40:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:22Speaker 5: He's currently on a trip to Asia and other political news.
- 40:25Speaker 6: Now, have you guys heard this?
- 40:27Speaker 5: Former Vice President Kamala Harris did an interview with the
- 40:30Speaker 5: Associated Press and she said quote that running again for
- 40:34Speaker 5: president is still on the table and she has not decided,
- 40:39Speaker 5: so she may jump back in that race in twenty
- 40:41Speaker 5: twenty eight, even though Trump is saying he might go
- 40:45Speaker 5: for a third term, and there's ways of getting around
- 40:48Speaker 5: what it says.
- 40:49Speaker 1: He's going to go for a third term.
- 40:51Speaker 6: Yeah you think so?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Wow?
- 40:54Speaker 2: Man, Really they haven't Mann, why would he not? No,
- 41:00Speaker 2: we can't and it's not constitutional. But what he hasn't done,
- 41:04Speaker 2: that's been constitutional.
- 41:06Speaker 6: Right, they're saying there's ways to get around that.
- 41:09Speaker 9: Excuse me, what.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I gotta find me a new planet.
- 41:13Speaker 6: I really a whole planet.
- 41:16Speaker 1: You just Earth like planet? I just I can't do Earth.
- 41:20Speaker 1: No more Earth just.
- 41:21Speaker 7: Too much planets passing by, rolling their windows up.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Like what's going on over there?
- 41:32Speaker 6: Wow?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Not yet? Yeah?
- 41:35Speaker 5: What do you think about the UH Vice president Harris
- 41:39Speaker 5: run perhaps, Steve.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Honestly speaking, I don't because we lost by five million
- 41:50Speaker 2: votes last time. I don't know how to make up
- 41:53Speaker 2: five million votes now. She got the baton Nate in
- 41:58Speaker 2: the race, exactly, she's giving the baton way late and
- 42:03Speaker 2: waste way behind, so she didn't get a chance at
- 42:06Speaker 2: a fair run. She was an excellent candidate when she
- 42:11Speaker 2: was running. She was excellent, flawless, she spoke well, she
- 42:18Speaker 2: was very presidential, way more qualified. Yeah, it's just overqualified
- 42:25Speaker 2: that we live in. Yes, sir, has been exposed as
- 42:32Speaker 2: to who they really are. You know, all that conversation
- 42:34Speaker 2: about this is not who we are. No, yeah, it
- 42:37Speaker 2: is exactly who you are. But keep proving it over
- 42:41Speaker 2: and over and over again. So I don't expect nothing
- 42:43Speaker 2: from them.
- 42:44Speaker 5: And to Steve, when Obama won his two terms and
- 42:52Speaker 5: it was time for him to leave office and everything,
- 42:54Speaker 5: and I would always ask you, what are the chances
- 42:57Speaker 5: do you think of another black man running for president
- 43:01Speaker 5: or winning the presidency?
- 43:03Speaker 6: And you would always say it's a chance.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, man, just look at how it's going. Quite supremacist,
- 43:14Speaker 2: supremacist in this country has risen. They all now they
- 43:20Speaker 2: think they got a guide there, and there's a new
- 43:24Speaker 2: blueprint for how to do political Every lie, everything about
- 43:30Speaker 2: you is fake news. Lie and believe the lie, and
- 43:37Speaker 2: then get a whole party of people to.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Go along and listen to you lie and go along
- 43:43Speaker 1: with it too.
- 43:44Speaker 2: So now the Republican Party has a new blueprint on
- 43:49Speaker 2: how to win and it's worked for Trump twice. You
- 43:52Speaker 2: think they're going to change that blueprint.
- 43:54Speaker 1: No they're not.
- 43:55Speaker 5: And go after your enemies, anybody who's against you, who
- 43:59Speaker 5: spoke against you, take him down.
- 44:02Speaker 1: We are ever doomed in that cycle of politics.
- 44:06Speaker 6: Now, yeah, all right. Coming up next it is the.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Nephew They party is JD. Vans that black eye makeup on.

- 54:41Speaker 5: be yours.
- 54:43Speaker 7: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:45Speaker 7: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letters.
- 54:49Speaker 5: All right, nephew, thank you subject, he said his mom
- 54:53Speaker 5: is off limits. He said, his mom is off limits. Okay,
- 54:58Speaker 5: Dear Stephen, Shirley say and his mom were too close
- 55:02Speaker 5: and he struggled to set boundaries with her because the
- 55:04Speaker 5: guy she was seeing for twenty years dumped her when
- 55:08Speaker 5: he and I met. He had no real friends, and
- 55:10Speaker 5: he did everything with his mom, like going to get massages,
- 55:13Speaker 5: going on vacations, going on shopping sprees, and going to
- 55:17Speaker 5: the nail salon, and everything was always paid for by
- 55:21Speaker 5: his mom. Yes, her boyfriend was married, so she had
- 55:25Speaker 5: plenty of time to spend with her son. Recognizing the
- 55:28Speaker 5: red flags, I urged him to grow up and break
- 55:31Speaker 5: free from his mom if he planned to have a
- 55:34Speaker 5: future with me. His mom was upset at first and
- 55:37Speaker 5: said that I was plotting to take her son away
- 55:39Speaker 5: from her. Now that we're engaged, they still spend a
- 55:43Speaker 5: lot of time together, but now he invites me to
- 55:45Speaker 5: join them. I lost my mom five years ago, so
- 55:49Speaker 5: his mom has been helpful with wedding ideas, but I
- 55:53Speaker 5: can tell she's not truly happy with me. So at
- 55:56Speaker 5: lunch recently, I asked if she had a problem with me. Said, yes,
- 56:00Speaker 5: she does. I let her speak and then I told
- 56:04Speaker 5: her all of the issues I have with her. My
- 56:06Speaker 5: fiance sat there and let his mom take shots at me,
- 56:10Speaker 5: but told me to watch my mouth when I told
- 56:13Speaker 5: her about herself. I left the restaurant thinking that things
- 56:17Speaker 5: would be better since we cut through the BS.
- 56:20Speaker 6: But over the last few days.
- 56:22Speaker 5: It's gotten worse. My fiance told me that his mom
- 56:25Speaker 5: is off limits to me from now on. He told
- 56:29Speaker 5: me that I talked to his mom like I'm her equal,
- 56:31Speaker 5: and she is done with me forever. He said his
- 56:35Speaker 5: mom's feeling way heavily on feelings way heavily on him,
- 56:39Speaker 5: and could affect me and him getting married. How can
- 56:42Speaker 5: this be? Is he going to always choose her over me?
- 56:46Speaker 6: What do I do?
- 56:49Speaker 8: Well?
- 56:51Speaker 6: You gotta let this go.
- 56:54Speaker 5: This is not going to work out, and you're not
- 56:56Speaker 5: going to stay marry to him long. You wouldn't stay
- 56:59Speaker 5: married to him long if you guys were to get married,
- 57:01Speaker 5: because his mom would be that third person in your marriage.
- 57:06Speaker 5: I know you've invested time in him and feelings in
- 57:09Speaker 5: him and all this into this relationship. You've agreed to
- 57:12Speaker 5: marry him and everything. But this mama's boy has made
- 57:16Speaker 5: his choice and he chose mama. Okay, he chose his mother.
- 57:21Speaker 5: I don't care how right you think you are. You
- 57:23Speaker 5: can never disrespect a man's mother. You went too far
- 57:27Speaker 5: and telling her about herself, as you call it. You
- 57:30Speaker 5: didn't tell us what you said, but you went too far.
- 57:33Speaker 6: I know you did.
- 57:34Speaker 5: The man just no man is going to just sit
- 57:38Speaker 5: there and let you talk crazy to his mom. Nobody's
- 57:41Speaker 5: no man is going to do that, period. I mean,
- 57:43Speaker 5: it's just not happening. And I am a bit surprised
- 57:45Speaker 5: that you didn't already know that though. You know, even
- 57:48Speaker 5: though you're feeling that, you got to hold back a
- 57:50Speaker 5: little bit and just find a way to respectfully say
- 57:53Speaker 5: what you said.
- 57:54Speaker 6: He was right. You are not her equal. And that's
- 57:57Speaker 6: not to say that she can.
- 57:58Speaker 5: Treat you any kind of It just means that you
- 58:01Speaker 5: have to have a respectful way, like I said, to
- 58:04Speaker 5: get her up off you.
- 58:05Speaker 6: He word is respectful. So go ahead, give.
- 58:08Speaker 5: Him his ring back and all that, and start moving
- 58:11Speaker 5: on with your life because there will be no wedding.
- 58:13Speaker 5: Now that you've expressed yourself in this way. Your fiance
- 58:16Speaker 5: would not have changed anyway because he was like this
- 58:19Speaker 5: before and during. He would still be a mama's boy
- 58:23Speaker 5: in your marriage, always putting his mom first.
- 58:26Speaker 6: So consider yourself, okay.
- 58:28Speaker 5: That you dodged a big mama's boy bullet in this instance.
- 58:31Speaker 5: He's probably over there right now with Mama. So you
- 58:35Speaker 5: know this wouldn't have worked out for.
- 58:37Speaker 1: You, Steve.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Let me just go to the bottom of the letter
- 58:41Speaker 2: and just lady, there's no way to say this to you.
- 58:45Speaker 2: He said his mom's feelings weigh heavily on him and
- 58:49Speaker 2: could affect me and him getting married. How can this be?
- 58:55Speaker 2: Is he going to always.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Choose her over me? What do I do? Well?
- 59:00Speaker 2: Read the letter? Ain't he always chose her over you?
- 59:08Speaker 2: He done chose her over everything. He ain't even live
- 59:13Speaker 2: in no regular life. Because I'm gonna tell you something
- 59:15Speaker 2: right now, I done read this letter. This ain't normal.
- 59:18Speaker 2: This ain't normal. Right here you're talking about he didn't
- 59:22Speaker 2: struggle or set boundaries with her because the guy she
- 59:25Speaker 2: was seeing for twenty years dumped her. Then you told
- 59:28Speaker 2: me in the letter the guy she was seeing was married. Okay,
- 59:34Speaker 2: So they just make dumb decisions all the time. Him
- 59:38Speaker 2: at her, He ain't had no real friends. And this
- 59:44Speaker 2: is where the letter got crazy for me. She said
- 59:47Speaker 2: he did everything with his mom now listen to this,
- 59:52Speaker 2: like going to get massages?
- 59:55Speaker 6: Who go get what?
- 59:56Speaker 2: Man go get a massage with his mama? Now, daughters
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: and mamas do it all the time, But what mad
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: go get a massage with his mama? Going on vacations,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: going on shopping sprees and going to the nail salon?
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Who go get they nails done with they?
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Mama? What man do that? And everything was paid for
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: by his mom?
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Then she says, recognizing the red flags, I urged him
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: to grow up and break free from his mama. What women,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Stop collecting red flags, putting them in your trunk. When
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you see red flags, leave them in the ground. Stop
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: collecting red flags.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: Hold out there shipping, Yeah, hold right here.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter subject
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: he said his mom is off limits. We'll get back
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Hey everyone, quick health question. Even though you're still thriving,
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: still loving, still connecting, did you know your immune system
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: weakens with age. That's where vaccines come in. They help
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: train and strengthen your immune response to fight off certain
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: respiratory illnesses like flu, newmacacle, pneumonia, RSV, and COVID nineteen
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines you need and
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: visit vacxisist dot com. That's vaexsist dot com to schedule
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer. All right,
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: is he said his mom is off limits. You left
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: off with women. Stop collecting red flags.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Steve, Ladies, y'all, this is letter is all wrong. Shirley said,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: this is a mama's boy. This is a mama's boy
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: in a severe case. They do everything together. What man
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: go get a massage with his mama, going on vacations together,
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: going on shopping sprees, and going to the nail salon.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Who go get their nail done with their mama? Can
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: I tell y'all how much I.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Loved ill loss Ville Harvey.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Can I tell you how much I loved my mama?
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: I'm talking about love, telling like you you could not
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: love your mother more than I love mine. You can
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: love her and be, but you not hurt you about
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: her even to this day.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: And it's just it's so crazy.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: She was the first woman I ever loved, and I
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: never stopped loving her.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: So but we ain't ever went and got our nails.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Then me and my mama ain't help. He went and
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: got a massage together. Me and my mama didn't go
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: on vacations together because what I'm finish do on vacations
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: and down at the massage parlor. My mama don't need
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: to see this. So then.
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: You said.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: You told him recognizing the red flags, I urged him
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: to grow up and break free from his mom if
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: he had planned on having a future with me. Then
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: you said his mother was upset and said that I
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: was plotting to take her son from her.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: So now that's a huge red flag. Should have it
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: in the ground.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Ladies, Like I said before, stop collecting red flags. That's
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: your problem. Y'all see these red flags and put them
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: in your car. Now that we engage, where that come from?
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Did you not hear anything you text? Now we engage.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: To the man that go get a nail down with
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: his mama, to the man to go get massages with
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: his mama, to the man to go on vacation with
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: his mama. Now that we engage, they still spend a
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: lot of time together. Duh, but now he invites me
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: to join. I lost my mama five years ago, and
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: so his mama has been helpful with planning the wedding.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I did so.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Then they were sitting at lunch and she asked the
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: mama did she have a problem with her? And the
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: mama just said, yeah, I got a problem with you.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: And then you let her speak and she told you
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: all the issues that she had with you, and then
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: you told her all the issues I had with her.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: My fiance sat there and let his mom take shots
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: in me. What you thought he was gonna do? He
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: ain't been running nothing with his mama.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: But then when I tried to say what I want
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: to say, he told me to watch your mouth. I
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: left the restaurant thinking things would be better since we
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: cut through the BS. What how did you lead a
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: restaurant thinking things would be better?
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: Did you?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: And what she said about you? And then when you.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Tried to say something right back to her, watch your mouth.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: You thought things were going to be better, but it's
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: gotten worse. My fiance told me that his mama is
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: off limits to me from now on. He told me
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: that I talked to his mama like I was her
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: equal and she's done with me. Fev He said, his
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: mama's feeling his way heavy on him and could affect
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: me and him getting married. It already had. How can
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: this be? Is he going to always choose her over me?
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: Yes?
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: What do I do? Cut your losses? Take them red
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: flags out the truck of your car and throw them
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: out on the side of the road somewhere and drive off.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Listen.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: I don't remember how the movie Remember the movie Eddie
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Murphy did Norbit? Yeah, yes, now, I didn't know who
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: the lady was, the big lady that Eddie played his
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: mama in this And let you know what this is,
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: big resbuseiss this. You didn't know it. And if I
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: wish you, I would run. And I don't even do
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: movie analogies. That's what I see happening. Lady, if you
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: don't get away from this boy who will never ever
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: be your man because he's so busy being her boy.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: You can't be a boy and a man at the
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: same time. You cannot do those two things at once.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: They are in direct conflict. You can't be a boy
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: and a man at the same time.
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: Well, good luck.

- 1:10:09Speaker 6: Okay, you go Steve on.

- 1:10:21Speaker 2: that's what I think about that.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: Maybe not Diddy, but.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: You've got to pardon Trump? So wh wh what's the
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: kid's name?
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: If they think is throwing some basketball games? Have you
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: seen some of the players that look just blatantly like
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: he was just throwing the ball to the other team.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Have you seen it? I haven't seen anything.
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a lot. I don't know.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: You got to see this guy.
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: Yeah, it's almost like helping the other team.

- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Some he's send me some stuff so I can look

- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Was this something to go back to our Jordan Day's

- 1:11:43Speaker 5: Reneged coming up at the top of the hour. What

- 1:11:56Speaker 5: worker took all the credit for her work. We'll talk
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: about it right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: This is from Tiffany and Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: Tiffany says, I just wrapped up a huge project at
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: work with a teammate who barely contributed beyond keeping management
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: updated on our progress. I did all of the heavy lifting,
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: but I didn't mind him handling communication. That is, until
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: we represent it. Until we presented the project. He took
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: over the meeting, talked over me, kept saying things like
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: I decided or I created, as if I hadn't been
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: the one who did the actual work. When I mentioned
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: it to my manager, he laughed it off and said,
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: my team. My teammate told him I'd been helpful. I'm serious.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: Do I gather proof and take it to my boss
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: or HR or just let this one go and make
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: sure it never happens again.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: Wow?
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't see how you ain't saying nothing that
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: to meet?
- 1:12:58Speaker 6: Yeah, because he was taught.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Excuse me, excuse me? Hold on, what did you just say?
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Pimp right?
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: That's terrible And wait.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: A minute, and you got that information from where?
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, no, what you're not finna do? Excuse me,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Let me take over this meeting right here now, what
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: you're not gonna do?
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: No? See, that's why I can't.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I've never had a corporate I had one corporate job,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: work at an insurance company.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: And good why not? Just what did you do? I
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: don't like meetings and all this here is.
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: That's the way you flipped the table over.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: In a meeting with him?
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: Have yeah, and I'm talking about in a corporate meeting?
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: Yes, uh huh?

- 1:13:53Speaker 1: him in a meeting?

- 1:13:56Speaker 7: Nephew, he don't be talking about what they talking about
- 1:13:59Speaker 7: on the table. You be talking about stuff where you
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: get that souperro when with that night whatever they talking about,
- 1:14:07Speaker 7: he has not focused on what the meeting is about.

- 1:15:04Speaker 6: I didn't because he was the one that called the meeting.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: Perhaps what that's.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: The craziest thing I have seen. I leaned over. I
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: leaned up. Why he was talking? I said, Bro, you
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: watch it, tod Man watched to.
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: You just got here, I'm sure. So we walk into
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: the restaurant.
- 1:15:30Speaker 13: He realizes what he has done.

- 1:22:58Speaker 5: com that's vaexas dot com to schedule one or more
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: All right, guys, here.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: We are our last break of the day.
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: It is our last break of the day on this
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: what is this Tuesday?
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: Just maybe just days, just a few more days till Christmas?
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: Told you, told you can we get to Halloween? Ma'am
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: it's Friday?
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: Told you.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Still past candy out? We still we really tricker treaters?
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: You mean it's not you. I just don't think it's safe.
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: I mean if you have a party or a neighborhood,
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: I don't know, with security or something, I guess, but
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: it's just too scary nowadays. Don't you think are you
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: gonna trick or treat?
- 1:23:49Speaker 9: Steve?
- 1:23:49Speaker 5: I mean you're gonna pass out candy?
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: No for the trigger treaters if they come.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: You know how I have to walk to hand in.
- 1:24:02Speaker 10: Rich people.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Like I'm happy to see you who you you?
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Hey, Listen, I got let me do some close remarks
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: because I want to remind people of something. Listen to me.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: Be authentically. You just be authentically. You be who you are.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: You know you are, okay, you don't have to go
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: along with the crowd. I don't know if you've noticed,
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: but a lot of times the crowd going the wrong way.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: I don't know if you've noticed, but the crowd usually
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: has some members in it that are not conducive to
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: your lifestyle, your future, or your well being. So why
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: go along with it? I stopped following the crowd years ago.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Be authentically you now listen to me. When being authentically
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: you at least you can maintain that. When you're trying
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: to be something you're really not, it's hard to maintain that.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: It gets exhausting. I have watched people do it who
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: are not authentically themselves, and they struggle and then after
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: a while they just look fake. I've spent a lot
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: of my time just trying to be authentically who God
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: created me to be.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Now, I want you to understand something.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: And when you make that decision to be authentically, you
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: don't expect everybody to like you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: See that's the problem. See, that's why a lot.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: Of people want to go along with the crowd, because
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: if you in the crowd, you think.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: A lot of people like you because you're going along
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: with them.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: The problem is the crowd is made up of people
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: who are just that way too, going along with something
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: just so they can be like. So now you end
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: up with a bunch of unauthentic people surrounding you, which
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: is not gonna be good for you in the first place.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: It's not gonna be good for you. So just be
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: authentically you and understand that once you make the choice
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: to be yourself, everybody not gonna like you. But can
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: I share something with you? Everybody not gonna like you.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: I don't care what you do, They just not And so, man,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: you might as well be yourself because when you act
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: like somebody else, somebody ain't gonna like that. Have you
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: ever noticed online you scrolling through your feed and all
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: that youm. I don't care what somebody post. A family
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: can post. We were just blessed with the new born,
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: healthy baby. If you go to the comments, somebody got
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: some negative to say about that. If you put a
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: testimony of how good God has been to you, put
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: it online and read them comments, somebody got something negative
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: to say about that. I don't care what you do.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: You can give some money to a worthy cause. If
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: you read them comments. That's all you can give, why
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: don't you do it yourself? It was something funny online.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: They was showing the golf swing of Lebron James, Kevin Harden,
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: Justin Bieber and somebody else showing the golf swing. Dude
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: in the comments says, I do not understand how rich
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: dudes have some of the worst golf swings I've ever seen,
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: when all they got to do is take their money
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: and hire Tom Haney and get some golf lessons, butch
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: harmon and become a good golfer. You and I was
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: sitting there looking at him, and I said, wow, my man,
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: do you realize that to become either one of them
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: you're talking about, it takes a great amount of your time.
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: If you want to be a good golfer, it's going
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: to take a lot of your time. If you want
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: to be well off, to be able to afford any
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: type of coach you want, if you want to be
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: well off, that's gonna take a lot of time.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: So when you look up in you and you see.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: Celebrities and it ain't got good golf swings, you know
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: why because they do spend a lot of time trying
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: to be well off. That's why bro, you can't just
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: it don't work that way. I don't care what you do.
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: Somebody got something to say about it. You don't understand
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: how well all people don't have great golf's waves well,
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: brou because it takes a lot of time to be
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: either one of them, That's why. But you ain't either
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: one of them. So now here you are comments, y'all.
