- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show because God in the blessing. Business. Got
- 2:14Speaker 1: a radio show because God is in a forgiving business.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Got a radio show because God to let you turn
- 2:20Speaker 1: your life around. Business. Got a radio show because God
- 2:24Speaker 1: no better than you know. Yeah, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:28Speaker 1: radio show. Didn't see it coming, but he did. I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: gonna share with you today a principle of success. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: it's it's important that we get our lives together. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: mean it really really is. You know, to hear after
- 2:44Speaker 1: it is exactly what it says is to hear after,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and hopefully for the majority of us, that's quite a
- 2:51Speaker 1: way He's off. So what about how you living today.
- 2:56Speaker 1: How about now? You know often talk to you talk
- 3:00Speaker 1: in the morning about your relationship with God that can
- 3:03Speaker 1: never change. That is at the forefront and the best
- 3:09Speaker 1: thought process that I can give you. And I know
- 3:12Speaker 1: who I'm talking to on the radio. I'm talking to
- 3:14Speaker 1: a lot of people, man, who out there just not sure.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And I'm talking to a lot of people out there
- 3:21Speaker 1: man that's trying to pull it together. In other words,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm talking to a lot of people like myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: There is a principle of success that is out there
- 3:32Speaker 1: that if more people understood one of the baits. This
- 3:35Speaker 1: is just one of one of the basic principles of success,
- 3:38Speaker 1: you would have more success in your life. And that
- 3:41Speaker 1: principle is this, the more people you help become successful,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the more successful you become. Well, the more people you
- 3:51Speaker 1: help become successful, the more successful you become. Because you
- 3:56Speaker 1: are a practicing helping your and as you do to
- 4:00Speaker 1: others than it's done unto you. You know, you you
- 4:04Speaker 1: you build relationships. When you do that, people forget in success,
- 4:10Speaker 1: that has to be relationships. There is no one person
- 4:13Speaker 1: in this world who is just successful all on their own.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You are successful, and successful people form relationships and you've
- 4:24Speaker 1: got to really coddle these relationships. You've got to nurture
- 4:28Speaker 1: these relationships. They don't just happen. You don't just get
- 4:32Speaker 1: cool with people just cause you cool. No, you've got
- 4:36Speaker 1: to do some cool things to these people and for
- 4:39Speaker 1: these people, for these people to be cool with you
- 4:41Speaker 1: when you need some cool. I don't know if I'm
- 4:44Speaker 1: explaining that right, but that's the best way I can
- 4:46Speaker 1: tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know. I
- 4:49Speaker 1: I just speak like that. This is an important principle
- 4:53Speaker 1: to put into your life. The more people you help
- 4:56Speaker 1: become successful, the more successful you become. You cannot look.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You have to say to people, hey, look, I've done that.
- 5:05Speaker 1: This is what you got to do. You got to
- 5:06Speaker 1: take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You got to take a minute man to uplift somebody,
- 5:16Speaker 1: give them some encouragement. Hey man, you can do it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Don't give up. You have no idea. You you you
- 5:25Speaker 1: right now. You have no idea how significant you are
- 5:30Speaker 1: to someone else, how your words of encouragement could be
- 5:34Speaker 1: the difference maker. Today I'm talking about it's a person
- 5:38Speaker 1: looking at you that you don't even really know you
- 5:40Speaker 1: or you don't really know them, and you see them
- 5:42Speaker 1: struggling with something, just say, hey, you know what. I've
- 5:44Speaker 1: been watching you from afar. You're gonna be all right, man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I see something. Men. You keep doing the right thing. Man,
- 5:50Speaker 1: You're gonna be all right. I had a meeting with
- 5:54Speaker 1: a young man for the first time. And this young
- 5:57Speaker 1: man came into my office. I never met him. He
- 6:01Speaker 1: has an internet service, which anybody can teach me something
- 6:05Speaker 1: about the Internet because I know little too close to nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 1: He was twenty seven years old, and he was amazingly
- 6:14Speaker 1: bright at this and I guess you know that it's
- 6:18Speaker 1: not that hard to impress me. But the fluid speech
- 6:23Speaker 1: pattern that he had about this very very difficult subject.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He was tossing around the terms I had heard, but
- 6:29Speaker 1: he was actually putting him in sensences where it made
- 6:32Speaker 1: sense to me. It's very fluid, very very sure of
- 6:35Speaker 1: himself when he was talking about this little things, young dude,
- 6:39Speaker 1: twenty seven years old. And when he got through, the
- 6:43Speaker 1: woman that had introduced me to him, I was leaving
- 6:46Speaker 1: my office and she was going to escort him out,
- 6:49Speaker 1: and I turned around and I said, young man, I said,
- 6:52Speaker 1: what what size pants are you? And I guessed it
- 6:55Speaker 1: because I'm I've been dressing for long. I've been all
- 6:59Speaker 1: them sizes now. I said, you bought a thirty ways?
- 7:01Speaker 1: He said, yes, Sir. I said, what side shoot you
- 7:04Speaker 1: ways at nine and a half? I said, what side
- 7:06Speaker 1: shirt is? At a medium? He said, I really like
- 7:09Speaker 1: extra lodge. I said, well, that's too big for you.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You just want to look lousy and bagging. And so
- 7:16Speaker 1: I was talking to him. Man, I said, Man, I'm
- 7:19Speaker 1: gonna help you out. I said, man, because let me
- 7:20Speaker 1: tell you something. You're a shop, young dude. Man, you
- 7:24Speaker 1: are raised a shop. I said, You've really really impressed
- 7:27Speaker 1: me today. I said, and you know what, young brother,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I said, You're gonna make a lot of money one day. Man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I said, but I want you to get your image up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I want you to. I want you to look at
- 7:37Speaker 1: how you dress because you're coming into professional people's office
- 7:41Speaker 1: and you're talking about doing something for them, and it
- 7:44Speaker 1: takes money to make it happen. I gotta give you
- 7:46Speaker 1: money to make this happen. What you cannot afford to
- 7:49Speaker 1: do is look like you need every dime with this money.
- 7:52Speaker 1: See you when you're going there and you're talking about
- 7:56Speaker 1: money with another person, the person that's gonna give you
- 7:59Speaker 1: this money. You can't look like you need every dime
- 8:02Speaker 1: of this money, you know, so you gotta start presenting yourself.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And that's all I just said to him. And I
- 8:08Speaker 1: just said, man, but you know what, you shocked. You're
- 8:10Speaker 1: gonna make yourself some money. I'm gonna help you out
- 8:12Speaker 1: a little bit. I walked out. I went on about
- 8:14Speaker 1: my business. Later on that afternoon, I had a meeting
- 8:16Speaker 1: with the woman that bought him in and she said,
- 8:19Speaker 1: mister Harvey, you have no idea what you just did.
- 8:21Speaker 1: He said, his eyes just teared up when you walked out.
- 8:24Speaker 1: He said, wow, man, that man don't even know me.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And he just encouraged me. He's a man always thought
- 8:32Speaker 1: I might could make it, but he said, I ain't.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Never had nobody like him tell me I could make it.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And just hearing it from him, man, that's all right.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna get my clothes together. But you know,
- 8:44Speaker 1: I've been homeless. And then he started telling the woman
- 8:47Speaker 1: that he had been homeless, and so, you know, then
- 8:50Speaker 1: she telling me that now I'm fitting cryckers. You know,
- 8:52Speaker 1: I've been in that hole before, and I just and
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm just sharing that story. What y'all just to say.
- 8:57Speaker 1: You don't know who you talk into, but what does
- 9:01Speaker 1: it hurt if you just extend your hand to a
- 9:04Speaker 1: person and give them a moment of encouragement. See this
- 9:08Speaker 1: young brother right here, he could come back one day
- 9:12Speaker 1: and be a major benefit to me because he has
- 9:15Speaker 1: a skill set that I don't have. Oh. I might
- 9:19Speaker 1: be old, mister Steve Harvey, but hey, guess what, I
- 9:22Speaker 1: don't know nothing about what this young cat know. And
- 9:24Speaker 1: Heid went off and educated himself. And just a word
- 9:27Speaker 1: of encouragement from somebody like yourself can make all the
- 9:32Speaker 1: difference in another person's life. So remember on your way
- 9:37Speaker 1: to the top. The more people that you help become successful,
- 9:42Speaker 1: the more successful you become. It's a requirement of God
- 9:46Speaker 1: that you do that. That ain't Steve Harvey talking. If
- 9:49Speaker 1: you read your Bible. Somebody got a Bible verse that
- 9:51Speaker 1: backed me up. Email it to me today if you
- 9:53Speaker 1: know what it is. I don't know, but y'all do
- 9:55Speaker 1: out there all right, you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I know you thought a song would follow, but I
- 10:07Speaker 1: decided no, And then again I changed my mind. When
- 10:12Speaker 1: you think of love, gotta get it on your mind.
- 10:18Speaker 1: You come on, when you think of love, gotta get
- 10:22Speaker 1: it on your mind. When you think of love, God,
- 10:29Speaker 1: get it all your mind. Come on, Now, why did
- 10:42Speaker 1: I would do it up in him? They're like that,
- 10:46Speaker 1: See how it was a fake move its count count off?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Then said I weren't gonna do it, did jump right
- 10:51Speaker 1: back into it. I just thought of that, That's all
- 10:53Speaker 1: it was. It's like that in the words that said
- 10:56Speaker 1: you did entertain It's just imagine good Man trying to strawberry.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve Harvey, one and only. Hello, Carlin Farrell,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Hello Steve Harvey, and career ladies and gentlemen. That damn
- 11:09Speaker 1: junior kill speech. Morning off, morning everybody, the King of Pranks, nephew, Tommy,

- 11:34Speaker 1: No I got her no diet doco today. Well, let
- 11:45Speaker 1: us don't nobody want that shot Taco Taco glad? So
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm crazy for say, don't abody want that shirt that early. Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you're feeling all right though always. You know, it's another
- 12:15Speaker 1: exciting day, another opportunity God has given me. I want
- 12:18Speaker 1: to take full advantage of it. I want to do
- 12:20Speaker 1: the things is I can do to progress myself forward
- 12:25Speaker 1: and uh do some things and maybe can help out
- 12:29Speaker 1: in the future. Not worrying about the future, not concerning
- 12:33Speaker 1: myself with anything that's about to happen, but preparing to
- 12:38Speaker 1: receive God's blessings, preparing to receive his unmerited favor and
- 12:47Speaker 1: any grace that would be shared and shared or headed
- 12:50Speaker 1: my way. I'm just open to it, you know, I
- 12:53Speaker 1: just decide. I stopped worrying, and it has changed my life. Man,
- 12:58Speaker 1: when I stopped worrying, because nothing I used to worry
- 13:02Speaker 1: about could I control, right, and I stopped worrying. God
- 13:09Speaker 1: is going to take care of me as he always
- 13:14Speaker 1: so wonderfully has done. And I see no reason why
- 13:19Speaker 1: he would not continue. If he's not going to continue
- 13:22Speaker 1: to take care of me, I'm not gonna wake up,
- 13:24Speaker 1: but I'm here. Not no all he hadn't done for
- 13:28Speaker 1: you that he ain't pulling out all right? Thank you
- 13:34Speaker 1: for that. Steve coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:37Speaker 1: the hour, we'll do a little bit of asked the
- 13:39Speaker 1: CLO with our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Right after
- 13:43Speaker 1: this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time
- 13:47Speaker 1: now for Asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:51Speaker 1: in the building. This one is from Carman in Braden, Florida.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Carman says, my sister and I hang out with a
- 13:58Speaker 1: group of women that she works with. My sister and
- 14:00Speaker 1: her friends love to drink alcohol and eat out. I
- 14:04Speaker 1: hate splitting the bill with this group because they do
- 14:07Speaker 1: a lot of drinking and I don't, so I have
- 14:09Speaker 1: to spend money that I shouldn't have to spend. I
- 14:12Speaker 1: told my sister I will start requesting a separate check,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and she can't understand why. I know I am right
- 14:18Speaker 1: about this one. So why is my sister siding with
- 14:21Speaker 1: her with her ugly friends because all of them drink
- 14:27Speaker 1: and eat And you just said these is your sister's friends.
- 14:32Speaker 1: But see, you chose this move. Nobody made you. Your
- 14:36Speaker 1: sister is your sister by birth. Nothing you can do
- 14:39Speaker 1: about that. But these are her friends, and you chose
- 14:42Speaker 1: her friends. Why don't you start another circle of friends
- 14:45Speaker 1: that don't drink as much. See, but see you you
- 14:51Speaker 1: put yourself in this hill mess and that's how they
- 14:54Speaker 1: do it. And now you can't. You can't jump in
- 14:57Speaker 1: the mess and then try to change the mess they
- 14:59Speaker 1: was doing this foe you got invited over and so
- 15:03Speaker 1: now you're gonna come in here, the new girl, and
- 15:04Speaker 1: you're gonna upset the Apple card. They drink, that's what
- 15:08Speaker 1: they do. Yeah, they drink, and they unattractive, don't she said?
- 15:14Speaker 1: How you know they on? She did my sister and
- 15:18Speaker 1: her friends. Yeah, well, you know, it's nothing worse drunk
- 15:22Speaker 1: ugly people when they drink what Steve, What ugly people
- 15:27Speaker 1: drink cousin and then don't. When cute people drank, they
- 15:34Speaker 1: get ugly. When ugly people drink, they already to other
- 15:40Speaker 1: drinkers who all right? Moving on Jericho and Cincinnati, says,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm forty and I'm dating a forty two year old
- 15:49Speaker 1: guy that is a narcissist and it's a turn off.
- 15:52Speaker 1: He's an attorney and I work as an administrative assistant.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I do everything for this man, and I dote on
- 15:58Speaker 1: him twenty four seven and giving him everything he needs
- 16:01Speaker 1: to be happy. We had a bad argument recently and
- 16:05Speaker 1: he said that I don't bring anything to the table,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and I should be grateful he's in love with me.
- 16:10Speaker 1: His words shocked me into reality, and he's right. There's
- 16:14Speaker 1: no way I can stay with him after that. Do
- 16:16Speaker 1: I leave peacefully or tear some things up? I mean, look,
- 16:24Speaker 1: he's a narcissist, share it up. You knew that, and
- 16:29Speaker 1: you lucky that he's even in love with you. What man, Now,
- 16:38Speaker 1: the godly thing to do is to just walk away
- 16:43Speaker 1: and let him go find somewhere. And then you made
- 16:45Speaker 1: you You feed into the narcissism by doting over him
- 16:48Speaker 1: and doing everything for this man. And then he turned
- 16:51Speaker 1: around and tell you bring nothing to the relationship. So
- 16:54Speaker 1: you helped feed into the narcissism. So here's what I
- 16:58Speaker 1: would do. I would away, but Shirley wants you to
- 17:04Speaker 1: tear something up. And the car call us vote that's
- 17:08Speaker 1: been in me. I don't even know how he got
- 17:10Speaker 1: ties on his car and the windshield, you know. And
- 17:15Speaker 1: Mississippi Monica on husband camera just pointed out a camera
- 17:19Speaker 1: like yes, So I think, no matter what I say,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I think you on the way out, you're gonna do something.
- 17:26Speaker 1: And then, um, so you're dating Donald trumps you're because
- 17:34Speaker 1: he's a narcissist. So I would say walk away peacefully
- 17:40Speaker 1: and just say you know what, But I would do
- 17:42Speaker 1: it like you know what I'm tell him. I said,
- 17:43Speaker 1: you know what, you don't deserve me. That's right, you
- 17:47Speaker 1: don't deserve this kind of love, this kind of doting
- 17:51Speaker 1: that I've done, and I've been a fool. So I
- 17:54Speaker 1: suggest that you take you in all your arrogant ways
- 17:57Speaker 1: and share it with somebody else, because I don't won't
- 18:00Speaker 1: it anymore. That would be the best way to do it.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You walk away from him. That would really be a shocker.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Slammed the door, right, it says, I don't bring nothing
- 18:13Speaker 1: to the table. Yeah, never look at a table. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: bet I'm bringing this brick through that wouded all right,
- 18:27Speaker 1: Moving on Vanny and Brooklyn says, I've been divorced for
- 18:31Speaker 1: almost two years, and my husband came to town to
- 18:33Speaker 1: attend my daughter's parent teacher conference and he admitted that
- 18:37Speaker 1: he still loves me, and he asked for a second chance.
- 18:40Speaker 1: My heart melted, and I told him we could try
- 18:42Speaker 1: to make it work, but there's one issue. He admitted
- 18:47Speaker 1: to sleeping with my coworker after we got divorced. I
- 18:51Speaker 1: thought I could forget about it, but it's hard. Do
- 18:54Speaker 1: I forgive him or not? This is after y'all divorce.
- 18:59Speaker 1: What's it to forget? I mean, it's nothing to forgive.
- 19:02Speaker 1: He can't do nothing wrong. Y'all was divorced. He slept
- 19:06Speaker 1: with your coworker, and she's got to look at that
- 19:08Speaker 1: coworker that's you, that's you and your co worker. That
- 19:12Speaker 1: ain't he told? Why did he tell you that? Ass
- 19:20Speaker 1: moments these dudes be Harry's confessing as moment sent it
- 19:27Speaker 1: is talking about your damn her co worker face admitted. Now,
- 19:32Speaker 1: unless he was telling you, now, here's the problem. Unless
- 19:37Speaker 1: he was admitting after the divorce that he slept with
- 19:42Speaker 1: your coworker why y'all was married, then that's a different thing.
- 19:49Speaker 1: But are you saying that because all he's saying is
- 19:52Speaker 1: he admitted to sleeping with the coworker after y'all got divorced.
- 19:56Speaker 1: So does that mean he was sleeping with her before? Well,
- 20:02Speaker 1: couldn't be. He don't want it to come up later
- 20:05Speaker 1: and see Bryan out later something like that. It could
- 20:07Speaker 1: be that, but I took it to me and he
- 20:10Speaker 1: slept with her after they got sun. I don't live
- 20:16Speaker 1: like that. I don't live You don't live like what like?
- 20:19Speaker 1: I don't do that. No, I don't bring not enough
- 20:23Speaker 1: that ain't up? Who who is this dude? Don't Why
- 20:28Speaker 1: would you interject something into your crib that ain't down?
- 20:32Speaker 1: I think, Hold, it's no more. Well I can't. Yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 1: but the co worker might not be able to co
- 20:38Speaker 1: worker might let it out. But to see then okay,
- 20:41Speaker 1: but now he didn't told you. But if he slept
- 20:43Speaker 1: with if she, if he slept with the co worker
- 20:46Speaker 1: after y'all was divorced, he ain't committed no wrong and
- 20:48Speaker 1: he just openly told you that. That's all that is.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But I don't why he tell it though? Coming up
- 20:57Speaker 1: run that frank back right after this. You're listening Steve
- 21:02Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the
- 21:05Speaker 1: hour and trending entertainment news R Kelly is Guilty Good
- 21:11Speaker 1: and now here's Tommy in the same paragraph as this.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Come on, okay, man, we should be okay, the new landlord,
- 21:30Speaker 1: landlord and fort jail. My god, this is bad. This
- 21:38Speaker 1: is really bad. Not much longer than your new landlord,
- 21:46Speaker 1: new landlord. Let's go catch Hello. Hello, I'm trying to
- 21:51Speaker 1: reach a UM Marcus, see who's this? My name is Jason.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You doing what's happening? Listen? Um, I'm trying to figure
- 22:00Speaker 1: out if you guys are gonna be out of the
- 22:02Speaker 1: house by Sunday. Um, not the house? What the hell
- 22:05Speaker 1: you mean out of the house? Let me let me
- 22:07Speaker 1: get the clarification. Are you guys that um West Jennings? Yeah? Okay?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Are you you guys haven't started packing up or anything
- 22:15Speaker 1: like that? Dude? Who are you? Okay? Are you kind

- 28:43Speaker 1: casino back in Detroit. I was gonna ask, is that
- 28:46Speaker 1: where you drove your ass off that stage? Fail? Now
- 28:53Speaker 1: let you bring that up. Oh you ain't forgot that,
- 29:01Speaker 1: that's none of us have nephews flew off of it? Now?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Oh wow, look at the time I never wanted to
- 29:14Speaker 1: see coming up at the top of the hour. R
- 29:16Speaker 1: Kelly is guilty. We'll talk about it right after this
- 29:21Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Morning Show. R Kelly has
- 29:26Speaker 1: just been found guilty on all counts in his federal
- 29:29Speaker 1: sex crimes trial and could be staring down life in prison.
- 29:33Speaker 1: That's right, I said, life in prison. The jury started
- 29:37Speaker 1: deliberating on Friday afternoon, had the weekend off, and then
- 29:40Speaker 1: took about half a day on Monday to reach its
- 29:43Speaker 1: verdict on nine federal counts, including racketeering, sex crimes, human trafficking,
- 29:49Speaker 1: obstruction of justice, and kidnapping. The trial wrapped a little
- 29:53Speaker 1: over a month after it began, with the prosecution calling
- 29:56Speaker 1: for more witnesses than to defense. Kelly himself never took
- 30:02Speaker 1: the stand. Some of the prosecutors witnesses said Kelly had
- 30:06Speaker 1: a small team made up of managers, bodyguards, and assistants
- 30:09Speaker 1: who rounded up Kelly's potential victims before he groomed them
- 30:14Speaker 1: for unwanted sex, among other things. Fifty witnesses were identified
- 30:18Speaker 1: as Jane Doe's and singer Aaliyah who died back in
- 30:21Speaker 1: two thousand and one. Was Jane Doe number one. Also
- 30:26Speaker 1: the two women Joscelyn Savage and Azrielle Clary interviewed by
- 30:31Speaker 1: Gail King. Remember that interview back in twenty nineteen, also
- 30:36Speaker 1: took the witness stand and they claimed that Kelly was
- 30:38Speaker 1: controlling them right then and there during the interview with
- 30:43Speaker 1: Gail King. Well, you saw that because he was supposed
- 30:49Speaker 1: to allow to him to talk separately, he stayed in
- 30:52Speaker 1: the hallway the whole time they were talking, was clearing
- 30:56Speaker 1: his throat. Yeah, that's when they they what was that for? Well,
- 31:02Speaker 1: you know, shut up, you're saying too much, answer that question.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Controlling the interview. That was his way of controlling the situation. Yeah, wow,
- 31:09Speaker 1: you know, man, it's really this is a This is
- 31:12Speaker 1: a real travesty, a real tragedy. I mean for the victims,
- 31:17Speaker 1: first and foremost the victims, I mean to have been
- 31:21Speaker 1: subjected to the things that they were subjected to, and
- 31:25Speaker 1: and and and and and used in the way that
- 31:28Speaker 1: they were used. Uh. That that's horrible. The other part
- 31:34Speaker 1: of it is this brother had an opportunity when he
- 31:39Speaker 1: was acquitted the first time, to straighten his life up.
- 31:43Speaker 1: He had a chance, he had a chance to go wild. Okay,
- 31:49Speaker 1: all right, I got I got, I got clear of
- 31:52Speaker 1: that one. The one man. Let me just hey man,
- 31:56Speaker 1: let me stop this foolishness. Let me get somebody grown
- 31:58Speaker 1: and going by my business. That's not what he did.
- 32:01Speaker 1: And he went deeper, and he went worse, and now
- 32:05Speaker 1: you have to pay, and it just really sad on
- 32:10Speaker 1: so many levels, man, so many levels. You know, genius,
- 32:16Speaker 1: but you know, you know what I mean. Really, for me,
- 32:20Speaker 1: it's like if anybody gets a second chance at forgiveness
- 32:25Speaker 1: and gets a chance to get it right, but then
- 32:27Speaker 1: you go right back into the same thing that got
- 32:29Speaker 1: you there in the first place, that's something's wrong, man. Yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 1: being a predator. Yeah yeah, something's wrong. And if that's
- 32:37Speaker 1: more important to you than your freedom, brother, that's that's
- 32:44Speaker 1: But I think you know what, Steve, I think these
- 32:47Speaker 1: kinds of people who do these things don't think they're
- 32:50Speaker 1: going to get caught, you know, which is why they
- 32:55Speaker 1: I think it was like, you know, I'm teflon down,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I can't be touch you know what I'm yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 1: And it's such a thrill for them, and such a
- 33:07Speaker 1: that controlling, that that above the law, controlling, domineering, taking
- 33:17Speaker 1: from women, abusing them, using them, taking advantage of an
- 33:21Speaker 1: age difference. But you know what I'm going Steve, I'm
- 33:24Speaker 1: gonna call he's sick, He's hell yeah, he's straight sick man,
- 33:34Speaker 1: you're just sick over. But you know, man, it's sick
- 33:40Speaker 1: is a word for it. But it's just a deviant behavior. Yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 1: because young man. Yeah, these his young girls were talking
- 33:50Speaker 1: about and grown women that's over his house doing whatever that.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I don't know them stories the young girls though, fourteen fifteen,
- 34:01Speaker 1: Come on, man, come on, but a deva behavior that's
- 34:08Speaker 1: you willingly knowing them as kids. But that's what you
- 34:13Speaker 1: want to do, right man. I think he's sick because
- 34:16Speaker 1: I think it happened to him. And we know what
- 34:19Speaker 1: happened to him. We heard that. He just has it.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Don't give you a right to affect somebody else with
- 34:26Speaker 1: your past and you did well. You'll let me say this,
- 34:32Speaker 1: no excuses. You ain't no little girl, you're grown man.
- 34:37Speaker 1: These are children. I don't have nothing for you. When
- 34:40Speaker 1: you do that to a child. I don't give a
- 34:42Speaker 1: damn what happened to you. I don't give a damn
- 34:46Speaker 1: what happened to you. You had to know it was
- 34:50Speaker 1: wrong then, and you're gonna grow up and you're gonna
- 34:52Speaker 1: you're gonna turn around and do it to some young girl. Man,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I don't care. Yeah, and you know what, when we
- 34:57Speaker 1: watch that documentary, Surviving documentary, it was a message too
- 35:05Speaker 1: that they were sending that no one cared about black
- 35:07Speaker 1: girls being victims. And so for this to happen, for
- 35:12Speaker 1: the justice for you know, young black girls to have
- 35:18Speaker 1: been victims like this, I'm just happy that they received justice. Yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 1: But you know something, I don't understand how there are
- 35:27Speaker 1: no accomplices in this, because he can't pull this off
- 35:30Speaker 1: by Somebody wouldn't got them. Somebody watched him while he
- 35:35Speaker 1: was gone. Somebody wouldn't picked him up. Somebody took them
- 35:38Speaker 1: to the stove, somebody locked it dough, somebody knew they
- 35:42Speaker 1: was in that house. That's right, Steve, How to hell
- 35:45Speaker 1: ain't no damn accomplices to this? Yeah, and Kelly could
- 35:52Speaker 1: be facing ten years to life in prison. He still
- 35:55Speaker 1: set to go on a second federal trial in Chicago,
- 35:58Speaker 1: state trials and annoy in Minnesota. Coming up. We'll have
- 36:03Speaker 1: more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty minutes
- 36:05Speaker 1: after right after this you're listening to show. All right, Steve,
- 36:11Speaker 1: we were talking about the r Kelly verdict. He has
- 36:14Speaker 1: been found guilty on all counts in his federal sex
- 36:17Speaker 1: crime trial. Um, just such a more middle Minnesota. Oh
- 36:26Speaker 1: there's more. Are you not ever getting out? But here's
- 36:32Speaker 1: what here's what I want to know. And look, I'm
- 36:36Speaker 1: you know, look, I'm happy for justice. But let me
- 36:39Speaker 1: explain something to you. You can't pull this off by yourself.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Somebody in your circle aided and abeted. Somebody in your
- 36:52Speaker 1: circle helped. Somebody knew a dollhead's a locked person behind
- 36:57Speaker 1: the door, somebody knew that. Somebody knew these kids was young.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Somebody knew. You can't do this by yourself. Yeah, but
- 37:06Speaker 1: it's said see that some of the prosecutors witnesses said
- 37:09Speaker 1: that our Kelly had a small team. It was made
- 37:12Speaker 1: up of managers, bodyguards and where are they's potential victim?
- 37:17Speaker 1: Because they ask is a part of this? See, you
- 37:21Speaker 1: gotta get all of this cancer cut out? Yeah, you know, man,
- 37:26Speaker 1: you can't do You can't serve all these black girls
- 37:28Speaker 1: up and then you walk away with hell, Kelly did it?
- 37:31Speaker 1: I just worked for it, man, dog, you know better,
- 37:34Speaker 1: hold up, dog. See first of all, let me say
- 37:36Speaker 1: this about me. If I see a person abusing a woman,
- 37:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna right there. I don't even got to know you.
- 37:45Speaker 1: If I see you hitting a woman in the parking lot,
- 37:47Speaker 1: I got problem with you dog right now in the
- 37:49Speaker 1: parking lot. It ain't no, this ain't none of my business.
- 37:52Speaker 1: If I see you snatching a kid out in public
- 37:55Speaker 1: and that kid fighting to get free, you you got
- 37:58Speaker 1: you got, you got with me right so I don't.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna sit here. If one of my friends
- 38:05Speaker 1: got a young girl locked behind the dough and I
- 38:08Speaker 1: know it, hold of dog? Whatever? How does she sixteen?
- 38:12Speaker 1: Don't say nothing? But wait, don't say nothing, boy, What
- 38:16Speaker 1: the hell you mean dog? That's something that's dog? Where
- 38:18Speaker 1: am I mad? That? What you're doing? Steve? Don't open
- 38:21Speaker 1: that door talking dog me? And you got a problem
- 38:24Speaker 1: right now because don't getting open And I'm gonna get
- 38:26Speaker 1: this little girl about a hill. And not only that, Steve,
- 38:28Speaker 1: when r Kelly leave that house and go somewhere else,
- 38:31Speaker 1: whether he go perform, go to the stove, go whever.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Who who's at that house on that door saying somebody
- 38:37Speaker 1: watching dogs? Exactly, Tommy, it ain't just no locked dough,
- 38:41Speaker 1: let's see windows. It's just a horrible situation, just really sad.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I want to know who connected to this? Yeah? See yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 1: Now unless they cut a deal in turns states. Ever,
- 38:57Speaker 1: see maybe they cut a deal and turns and testified.
- 39:07Speaker 1: That's traffic India, people, bro, That's all that is. And
- 39:11Speaker 1: that's a huge problem out here today. Yes, it is.
- 39:16Speaker 1: It is, Oh my goodness, especially in the places like Atlanta. Yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 1: tragic story, very much so. But he's guilty. Good yep ye.
- 39:28Speaker 1: All right. We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 39:30Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to show,
- 39:37Speaker 1: all right, So, guys, today is National voter Registration Day.
- 39:42Speaker 1: National voter registration Day. That means a lot our voting
- 39:46Speaker 1: rights are under attack. As we all know, voter suppression.
- 39:49Speaker 1: We hear that term a lot. This is what it means.
- 39:51Speaker 1: It's a strategy used to influence the outcome of an
- 39:55Speaker 1: election by discouraging or preventing specific groups of people from voting.
- 40:00Speaker 1: That's what voter suppression means. More than four hundred bills
- 40:04Speaker 1: with provisions that restrict voting access have been introduced in
- 40:08Speaker 1: forty nine states in the twenty twenty one legislative sessions.
- 40:13Speaker 1: This is a new version of Jim Crow laws, and
- 40:16Speaker 1: Republicans describe it as election integrity. Get that, okay, Election integrity.
- 40:24Speaker 1: There's no integrity anywhere in any of these laws. Here
- 40:27Speaker 1: are some voting registrations restrictions. Check it out. Absentee ballot
- 40:33Speaker 1: short return deadlines. Okay, that's one. Absentee ballot short return deadlines,
- 40:38Speaker 1: complicated absentee ballot requirements, strict voter photo ID laws X
- 40:46Speaker 1: fellon disenfranchisement laws not placing polling places on college, university
- 40:52Speaker 1: and campuses, requiring payment of fines or fees as condition
- 40:57Speaker 1: of vote restoration, voter intimidation, impersonating law enforcement personnel or
- 41:05Speaker 1: immigration officers. I mean, there's so much in these laws
- 41:09Speaker 1: that have come out to stop us from voting, to
- 41:12Speaker 1: stop you know, it's that's always been a ploy of
- 41:19Speaker 1: the right, because the right is in the minority, and
- 41:26Speaker 1: they've done everything in their power to remain a power
- 41:29Speaker 1: block even though they are minority. A given example, the
- 41:33Speaker 1: electoral college vote is simply because they are but the minority,
- 41:38Speaker 1: and by being the minority, they can still have the
- 41:40Speaker 1: same vote as the majority. That's why we still have
- 41:43Speaker 1: the electoral college vote. That's why they won't get rid
- 41:46Speaker 1: of it to take to make it a fine hinders
- 41:52Speaker 1: the poor. If you don't have this, then it's a fine.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Well who then now they know they're dealing with people's money.
- 41:58Speaker 1: If you don't put polling places on campuses, now you
- 42:01Speaker 1: restrict these young voters with the ability to vote and
- 42:03Speaker 1: get off campus and be able to vote. Everything is
- 42:06Speaker 1: done to stop a specific group of people. Not a
- 42:10Speaker 1: specific group of people that they're talking about are US
- 42:16Speaker 1: blacks and people of color. This is all designed for you.
- 42:22Speaker 1: But what they do not know is they are also
- 42:26Speaker 1: affecting their low end voter block, which them rule County
- 42:32Speaker 1: as people, and the and them and them and them
- 42:35Speaker 1: damn hill billies that you count known and everything they
- 42:39Speaker 1: fit into this equation too, which you have to be
- 42:42Speaker 1: very very keenly aware. But they know it affects the
- 42:46Speaker 1: masses even more. I'm telling y'all, we don't care how
- 42:51Speaker 1: much I d we need. We're gonna have it. I
- 42:55Speaker 1: don't care how short you make the absentee voting time frame.
- 42:58Speaker 1: We're gonna get it in. I don't kill what you
- 43:02Speaker 1: can move to poland places. We're gonna drive. We're gonna
- 43:05Speaker 1: stand in line because we are awake. Now we know
- 43:08Speaker 1: what you're doing, and we're gonna prove you wrong. I'm
- 43:13Speaker 1: telling you, man, We're not going back. It's a new day.
- 43:18Speaker 1: It's a new day, and all of you. Kemp, you're
- 43:22Speaker 1: not going to be governor again. Listen to me really quickly.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Donald Trump was in Georgia over the weekend at a rally.
- 43:31Speaker 1: You know, he's slowly coming out publicly now. He said
- 43:34Speaker 1: out of his own mouth that Stacy Abrams might be
- 43:38Speaker 1: better as governor than Brian Kemp him. And he's right, right.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't even know why people
- 43:52Speaker 1: follow him. You've got to be blindly ignorant to follow
- 43:58Speaker 1: a person this ignorant. Seriously, man, it's really it's shocking. Yeah,
- 44:06Speaker 1: it's shocking the number of people that really follow this man.
- 44:09Speaker 1: And it's disheartening at the same time because that's actually
- 44:12Speaker 1: half of the adult voting block that believe this man
- 44:15Speaker 1: is correct. That's a sad statement, which means this country
- 44:19Speaker 1: is sick. Exactly what a minute? Yeah, go to When
- 44:23Speaker 1: we All Vote dot org for more details on this
- 44:25Speaker 1: National voter Registration Day. We'll be back with Tommy and
- 44:28Speaker 1: the Prank phone Call right after this. You're listening Steve
- 44:32Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:36Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:39Speaker 1: The subject we said I do, but she does not.
- 44:44Speaker 1: What you heard me, we said I do, but she
- 44:47Speaker 1: does not. My nephew is here. You hear him with
- 44:51Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us? And
- 44:53Speaker 1: half my tip? My tip forty semple let's go catch dogs? Yeah? Yeah, hello, hello,
- 45:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach mister mister Kenney's. Yeah, this is
- 45:07Speaker 1: how you doing. I'm actually calling you from the seafood house.
- 45:11Speaker 1: You you you came and had I waited on you.
- 45:14Speaker 1: You came and had dinner over here the other night. Yeah,
- 45:18Speaker 1: I'm about two nights ago. Yeah, I was a food,
- 45:21Speaker 1: I was a service. Um, everything was good. Um, I don't.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I don't have any complaints. I always enjoy when I
- 45:29Speaker 1: come there, Um I don't. I never got a phone
- 45:32Speaker 1: call from you. Got everything all right? Yeah? Yeah, everything.
- 45:35Speaker 1: So I'm actually, uh, I don't know if you remember
- 45:37Speaker 1: me waiting on you, but I actually waited on you. Okay, okay,
- 45:40Speaker 1: how you doing? I'm good with What would you say?
- 45:43Speaker 1: Would you say that my service was was was pretty
- 45:45Speaker 1: good enough to par Yeah? Like I said, man, everything
- 45:49Speaker 1: was excellent every time I come there. The food is great,
- 45:52Speaker 1: the service is good. Um, I have no complaints. Everything
- 45:55Speaker 1: is is good. Okay, good good deal, good deal, mister Kennedy.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Listen you you if you're mind me asking man, if
- 46:01Speaker 1: you really thoroughly enjoyed the service as well as the food.
- 46:05Speaker 1: And I'm assuming you you come here a lot, so
- 46:08Speaker 1: I'm assuming you you really like the food that we
- 46:10Speaker 1: put out, if you don't mind, because if I can
- 46:12Speaker 1: ask you a question, if you don't mind, sure, okay.
- 46:15Speaker 1: If the service was so good and you enjoyed everything,
- 46:20Speaker 1: why why you why you took me the way you did?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Excuse me? Why did I do well? You know you
- 46:26Speaker 1: you you you didn't even even close to ten percent?
- 46:29Speaker 1: You know I would just I just you call. First
- 46:33Speaker 1: of all, let me ask you something because I don't
- 46:36Speaker 1: remember giving my phone number, writing my phone number down
- 46:39Speaker 1: on any survey. I didn't I've never taken a survey.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Lord about gotten a call from you guys? So how
- 46:44Speaker 1: did you get my phone number? Well, I'm just giving
- 46:47Speaker 1: a courtesy call, and I'm just curious about you know,
- 46:51Speaker 1: the courtesy. Hey, that's fine, but how did you You
- 46:53Speaker 1: didn't answer my question? How did you get my phone
- 46:56Speaker 1: number because I didn't give it to anybody there. So
- 46:59Speaker 1: you you you've done something to to when I went
- 47:02Speaker 1: on it. I went on and the research and whether
- 47:04Speaker 1: it took to get a number, So yeah, I did.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I you know, it was just a bother to me
- 47:08Speaker 1: that that you took me the way you did. Well,
- 47:10Speaker 1: it's bothering me that you calling me, uh in the
- 47:13Speaker 1: middle of the day asking me about a tip. First
- 47:15Speaker 1: of all, uh, you said how much? Did you say?
- 47:18Speaker 1: I tipped you? Yeah? I got five dollar tip and

- 47:27Speaker 1: wrong number. You got the wrong damn number because first
- 47:29Speaker 1: of all, I took more than five damn dollars. I
- 47:32Speaker 1: used to work for kills, bro, so let me explain
- 47:35Speaker 1: that to you. I used to work for chips and
- 47:37Speaker 1: I know what it's like. And then five dollars is no,
- 47:40Speaker 1: you got the wrong tayy. You haven't done all this
- 47:42Speaker 1: research for no, no, no, you you you mister kiddies.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I waited on you. I'm kiddy, but but you don't
- 47:50Speaker 1: got the wrong kidders because chimnipal damn five dollars when
- 47:53Speaker 1: I go, I balled, baby. I go to the people
- 47:55Speaker 1: out because I want to entertain my people. You know
- 47:58Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I don't see the problem I'm having.
- 48:01Speaker 1: You know, you you you you're bringing your people and
- 48:03Speaker 1: you want a ball and everything. But you you know
- 48:05Speaker 1: you're bawling with them, but you shot changing the waist down.

- 48:22Speaker 1: I told you, man, I used to work for TIMPs.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I don't need you to call me. You would you
- 48:27Speaker 1: would think you would think that if you would, you
- 48:28Speaker 1: would think that if you were somebody that worked for
- 48:30Speaker 1: some tip that you would know how to come in
- 48:32Speaker 1: and tip somebody leading at least fifteen percent. Man, I
- 48:35Speaker 1: can't even understand how how you come in you bawling.

- 49:09Speaker 1: How do you know my damn business anyway? Who who

- 49:15Speaker 1: the only way, only way we could really rectify it.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Won't you do this? Man? Won't you come back up

- 49:22Speaker 1: ain't coming no damn when I told you a matter
- 49:24Speaker 1: of fact, when I come up there again, I'm gonna

- 49:30Speaker 1: gonna call up there and come up there to day
- 49:32Speaker 1: because I don't appreciate you calling my damn faull by
- 49:34Speaker 1: some skill and I know footing. Damn well, I killed

- 53:51Speaker 1: be reading your letter live on the air, just like
- 53:54Speaker 1: we're gonna read this one right here, right now. Hear that.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Buggle up, bugle, bugle, hold on tight. We got it
- 53:59Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter subject we
- 54:04Speaker 1: said I do, but she doesn't. Dear Stephen Shirley, my
- 54:07Speaker 1: wife and I have been together for four years and
- 54:09Speaker 1: married for almost a year. I was planning to propose
- 54:13Speaker 1: to her, but she got pregnant and sped up the process.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I'm fifty two and she is forty, and his head
- 54:20Speaker 1: overheels in love with our newborn. The baby is all
- 54:24Speaker 1: she cares about. I overheard her telling her mother that
- 54:26Speaker 1: she got exactly what she wanted, a man to take
- 54:29Speaker 1: care of her and a son that looks like her.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I called her out on it, and she said. It
- 54:36Speaker 1: was her way of bragging on how good I am
- 54:39Speaker 1: to her. But I'm not a fool. Since we said
- 54:42Speaker 1: I do, she doesn't. She doesn't clean, she doesn't cook,
- 54:46Speaker 1: and she certainly doesn't have sex with me anymore. When
- 54:49Speaker 1: we have company over, she is the best hostess ever.
- 54:52Speaker 1: She's making drinks, fixing snacks, and she's very affectionate to me.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I even get to hold the baby when people are around.
- 55:02Speaker 1: As soon as they leave, I have to live with
- 55:05Speaker 1: a totally different person. If my son cries and I
- 55:08Speaker 1: go to pick him up, she takes him and says
- 55:11Speaker 1: that he needs his mother, and it's all about creating
- 55:13Speaker 1: a bond with her son. Whenever I try to cook
- 55:17Speaker 1: for myself, she gets upset because I mess up her
- 55:20Speaker 1: kitchen and she's afraid the company might pop up, and
- 55:23Speaker 1: the house isn't spotless. It's as though she's living a
- 55:27Speaker 1: fairy tale at my expense. I have lawn men, a housekeeper,
- 55:31Speaker 1: and a nanny that I pay for now, because the
- 55:34Speaker 1: house has to always be perfect. When her sorority sisters
- 55:38Speaker 1: visit us, I hear them giving her props for getting
- 55:41Speaker 1: everything she wished for. But it is at all at
- 55:44Speaker 1: my expense, and I'm not happy. I feel like I'm
- 55:47Speaker 1: bugging her when I ask for sex. She has told
- 55:49Speaker 1: me that her body isn't fully ready yet and it's
- 55:52Speaker 1: been seven months since she gave birth. Is this a
- 55:55Speaker 1: phase or is this a marriage of convenience? And she's
- 55:59Speaker 1: not in love with me? Well, it certainly doesn't sound
- 56:03Speaker 1: like she's in love with you at all. I was
- 56:06Speaker 1: gonna say she could be suffering from postpartum depression. That's
- 56:09Speaker 1: a lot of pregnant women after they have the baby do.
- 56:12Speaker 1: But I tend to agree with you on this one
- 56:14Speaker 1: because she certainly knows how to act when company is around,
- 56:17Speaker 1: doesn't she you know, fix and drinks snacks, all of that. No,
- 56:21Speaker 1: after pregnancy depression, then hum. I don't even think you
- 56:25Speaker 1: would mind paying for the nanny and the housekeeper in
- 56:27Speaker 1: the gardeners if she would show you a little attention sometimes.
- 56:30Speaker 1: And it's not just her baby. Why can't she share
- 56:33Speaker 1: the baby? She won't even let you hold your own son.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Something is wrong with this picture. I just think you
- 56:42Speaker 1: really need to stand up to her and let her
- 56:45Speaker 1: know that. And I hate too, I really hate too,
- 56:48Speaker 1: But I gotta ask you. I gotta ask you this.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Are you absolutely sure that this is your baby? Are
- 56:54Speaker 1: you sure about that? You did say it? It looks
- 56:58Speaker 1: like her you did say that. I mean, you know,
- 57:01Speaker 1: this should be a happy time. You just gotta say it.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You just gotta put it out there. This should be
- 57:05Speaker 1: a happy time for you to Where did that come from?
- 57:10Speaker 1: I'm not finished. Your time is coming. This should be
- 57:15Speaker 1: a happy time for you too, not angry and stress stressful.
- 57:19Speaker 1: How was she four years ago when you knew her
- 57:21Speaker 1: without man before you married her? Were there any red flags? Then? Um,
- 57:25Speaker 1: I'm sure she knows you're unhappy, so be honest. Let
- 57:28Speaker 1: her know that there needs to be some changes. You're
- 57:30Speaker 1: gonna start by holding your son, Steve, I don't know, Steve.
- 57:39Speaker 1: True just stunned your damn response. It changes my whole
- 57:47Speaker 1: answer because I was not ready for you to interject
- 57:51Speaker 1: the fact that it could not possibly be this man's
- 57:55Speaker 1: Becky Bear in this damn letters. You you've thrown an
- 58:02Speaker 1: element into this letter where I just went, oh Lord,
- 58:05Speaker 1: so now, okay, well this is my answer. You didn't
- 58:08Speaker 1: gave your answer this. It has affected my answer because
- 58:15Speaker 1: I try to offer a counter, and you know, I
- 58:17Speaker 1: try to find out something to say nice about your letter.
- 58:19Speaker 1: It was going good. I have to say anything that's
- 58:23Speaker 1: let me response. Why, y'all, I wasn't talking doing yours?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Yes you were. Wouldn't you give your answer, Steve? I
- 58:31Speaker 1: can't wait to hear it. Here's all I'm saying. This
- 58:36Speaker 1: letter right here has a couple of elements to it,
- 58:40Speaker 1: and Father, God, pray for me now that I don't
- 58:43Speaker 1: break up this home, but I'm planning it on breaking
- 58:46Speaker 1: it up a different way. You've been together for four years,
- 58:50Speaker 1: married a year. You was gonna propose, but she got pregnant,
- 58:54Speaker 1: spared up the process. You fifty two. She fought her
- 58:57Speaker 1: head over heels in love with y'all newborn, but the
- 59:00Speaker 1: baby is all she cares about. Now. You heard her
- 59:03Speaker 1: talking to her mother. She said she got exactly what
- 59:05Speaker 1: she wanted, a man to take care of her, take
- 59:07Speaker 1: care of her and a son that looks like her.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I called out, and she said it was her way
- 59:12Speaker 1: of bragging, and how good I am to her. Now
- 59:15Speaker 1: here's the letter. But I'm not a fool. Since we've
- 59:19Speaker 1: said I do. She doesn't clean, she don't cook, and
- 59:24Speaker 1: she certainly don't have sex with me anymore. What do
- 59:29Speaker 1: she do. I'm stuck. I'm not saying a woman has
- 59:33Speaker 1: to cook. I'm not saying a woman has to clean,
- 59:38Speaker 1: but it sounds to me like she used to and
- 59:42Speaker 1: now she don't. Not a part where we don't have
- 59:46Speaker 1: sex no more. And then I found out it's been
- 59:49Speaker 1: seven months and she said her body ain't ready. I
- 59:53Speaker 1: don't really know how to respond to that because I'm
- 59:56Speaker 1: not a woman, and I surely did point out that
- 59:59Speaker 1: she thought it might be postpartum. I don't know nothing
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: about that. So let me just stay off that subthing.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Let me just say this, it's been seven months. My
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: damn body ready. You're a man. If your body ain't ready,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I'll understand, But this body ready, and you won't make
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: me do something. Hold on, all right, we'll be part
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the subject we said I do,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: but she doesn't. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Strawberry letters. Subject we said I do, but she doesn't.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: This woman right here and had this baby. She forty
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: years older, man fifty two. They got a newborn son
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: that looks like the girl. She's been bragging to a
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: mama how she got everything she won't from her man
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: and our son that looks like her. Then, when the
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: man called her out about it, she said that she
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: was just bragging about how good he is to her.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: But he says he's not a fool because since stay
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: said I do, she don't clean, cook, or her certainly
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: don't have sex with him anymore. Now that's a problem,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: she said. It is because it's been seven months and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: her body not ready yet. That's some type of postpartum.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Surely pointed that out. I don't know nothing about that,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: so I'm gonna stay off that. Your body might not
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: be ready, but damn it, mine is. Now you're sending
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: up in here. You ain't having sex for seven mores?
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: What you not having sex? You're not having sex for
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: seven months. We're not signing up for this. We didn't
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: do this here, so we were not having sex for
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: seven months. You're not having seven for seven You not clean,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you ain't cooking. I like a clean house. I'm gonna
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: eat and I'm not waiting seven months to have sex
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: with you. Now, let's go on and move on. Through
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: the letter. How I want to go about this? When
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: company come over, she the best host ever. She's making drinks,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: fixing snacks. They're affected it to me. I even get
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: to hold the baby when people around see see see
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: see see see this a little to see this little
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: sorority girl. She wanted them one of them flex type people,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you know, show out, you know, like you know, best
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: foot forward, like the front, you know, make everybody think
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: she got it going on and everything as soon as
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: they leave. I got to live with a totally different person.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: If my son cries and I go pick him up,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: she takes him and says he needs his mother, and
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: it's all about to creating a bond with her son.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Whenever I try to cook for myself, she get upset
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: when I mess up her kitchen, and she's afraid company
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: might pop up. And the house ain't spotling what y'all stay?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Y'all live in the college down the tory. Who is
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: all these people that just get to pop up? I
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: don't have people like that. Excuse. Maybe I'm out of touch,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: but I don't hear the ladies on this show talking
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: about people just pop up day house and they married.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: You can't just you can't just pop up over these
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: blown ass people house. Yeah yeah, something just pop up
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: over the house. And then she said, and then he says,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it's as though she's living a fairytale. At my experiense
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I got lawn, me and a housekeeper and the nanny
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: that I pay for because the house has to always
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: be perfect putting That hit the part when her serato
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: as sisters come over, I hear them giving her problems
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: for getting everything she wished for. But it's all in
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: my experience, and I'm not happy. I feel like I'm
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: bugging her. When I asked her for sex, he right here.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: See we're not so I'm not gonna wear you about
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: no sex. I'm bugging you. Nah. You know she told
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: me that her body ain't fully ready yet and it's
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: been seting. Monk, okay, cool, thank you? Hello? Hello? You
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: leave me? No, you have me? Who am I to
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: do with this information? You leave me? Know what to do?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: You've decided you're not cooking, you're not cleaning, and you're
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: not having sex. Well, I like a clean house. I'm
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: hugged and I was also sex. So now where we're
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: at cause I like a clean house, I'm hungry and
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I like sex. You're not doing none of them. You're
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: not cleaning the house, you ain't cooking, we ain't having sex.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Why are you staying him now? She didn't flipped and
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: told her free of her friend. Girl, you got everything
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you want it okay, cool, But I ain't getting nothing
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I want. But I'm sponsoring Lane men Nani's housekeepers. But
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I ain't getting nothing. I can't have no sex. We
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: were not having sex for seven months. No no, no, no, no,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you're not having sex for seven I'm o niche streets.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: That's it. I'm niche. I'm on the streets and having
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: somebody gonna wash me, somebody I'm gonna lay down next.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I'm she doesn't like you, she don't like to clean.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I can find somebody saw with me, soaking me up, clean,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: cook from me, and then do something to me. I'm
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: out in these streets. This is what happened. And you
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: can't get mad at him. Man, when he go out
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: in these streets when y'all are, He told you what
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: he had to have, and you keep telling him what
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: you don't want to do. Now, Siry interjected into the
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: letter that it could probably not be his baby where
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: that came from. I don't know, but let's explore that.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Let's go down that dog path that she opened up
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: the keys. But you want him to cheat, and that's
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: not a dark path you're trying to justify. So you're
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: saying she already cheated. I'm saying she doesn't care for him,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: she doesn't like this man. It could understood. I believe
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: that I don't have a problem with that. So now
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: my alsel and I'm out in the streets. If you
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: don't care for me, I bet you I can find
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: somebody who do right. And that doesn't mean that she
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: doesn't care for someone else, and it could be well,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I'm in the streets. Then that's all here once again. Baby,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I'm in the streets deep. I don't feel sorry for
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: the baby. The baby don't know none of this right now.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: The baby's still crying in the crib seven months. The
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: baby can't walk. The baby don't know. I'm in the streets.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I can't hold the baby, no damn way anyway. I
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: bet I'm gonna hold somebody baby, all right. I'm calling
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: somebody baby school and everything. Daddy, I ain't you, daddy,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: but thank you. It's your comments on today's Struwberry Letter

- 1:10:09Speaker 1: And Thence and thank you guys. Coming up at the
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: top of the hour. Hey, we'll talk about burning bridges
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show. On this past Saturday,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Ohio State Buckeyes linebacker k Vaughan Pope was escorted off
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the field after a blow up on the sideline during
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: a game against Akron. He pretty much quit in the
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: middle of a game. And then this is a crazy part.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Then went to Twitter with a simple message, f Ohio
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: State while the game was still going on. Yeah, Tommy,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I watched it. You watch Dave. They pulled him out
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: of the game. Something happened. He wanted to go back in.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: The coach put somebody else in the game. This dude
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: took his jersey off and then he got a big
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: argument with the coach and then they escorted him off
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: the field. He running up the tunnel with the jersey
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: halfway on. Now always you know I'm showing his shoulder pad.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: He go in the dressing room, get his telephone and
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: tweets out f Ohio State boy, how dumb are you now?
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: A coach on TV trying to explain that the coach
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: is going, Hey, look, we played football. The coach's decision
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: was based on the play. We will go. He played defense.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: You wasn't going back in the game. He didn't go
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: back in the game. Man, This dude lost his mind
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: because he didn't go back in the game. He didn't
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: take him out the game, He just took him off
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: of that series. Nobody said you wasn't playing the day
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: no more. Now Tommy went in the locker room and
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: tweeted F Ohiose State going on doc sports. Now, they're
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: not gonna put you back in no game at all. Brother,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: what was the tweet? Fault on the people with this
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: social media? Won't everybody know what he fakes? Yeah, you
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: feel me and not all the ignorant ass people. Yeah, man,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: f f Ohio State. I had a problem with a
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: professor down there one time. They faked football. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: demands his own scholarship to Steve. Now if this is
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: going to I'm about to say the same thing. Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I mean even if he wants to go pro later
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: in life, Bridges, that's old pro. Sure, nobody's drafting a
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: person who quits on the team. That's your reaction to
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: something that went wrong with a coach's decision, and that's
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: who you are, that's your character. Somebody's drafting him. That's
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: what I want you to say, exactly right. Nobody's drafting him.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: And for school he's fee to transferred to. He's got
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: to know the consequences of no. No sad part. That's
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: the sad part that young people have got to learn.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: And it takes some time. I get it. But the
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: older you get, the more dire the consequences behind your
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: decisions we as parents. You don't have to overparent your
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: child anymore. Because the older he gets the decisions that
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: he makes the diet, the consequences become more dire. I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: ain't gotta kick your ass no more because life is
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: to do it for me. I told all my sons
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: animal spankings. I got something for you. You fee go
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: and go to college. Watch this. Now, leave college and
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: watch this. I bet you'll come back to me. It's
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: about life, is about choices, and this is a regret
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: that he will have that's gonna follow him for a
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: while because you not only made a bad decision, you
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: compounded it. Not only did you cuss out the coach,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: take your jersey off, left your team. You quick quit.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: You went into the locker room, grabbed your phone, and
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: turned it into a national story. This food was on
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Sports Center. Hey, y'all. He wasn't on Sports Center for
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Top ten Players of the day. He was on Top
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: ten for this. He made Sports Center. This kid then
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: threw his career as a football player on the collegiate
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: level out the window. I don't know how he fixes this.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: How do you get that? That's sad, that's highest level.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I hope it's fixable, though you say you don't know
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: how he fixes it. You can fix it later on,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: but it won't be with a house state. It won't
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: be just all right. We'll have more of the Steve
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after. Right
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Since the coronavirus change the world, the cannabis industry has
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: been on a roll. A bunch of dispensaries and growing
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: facilities opened up, and it doesn't look like things are
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: slowing down any time soon. All this expansion has required employees,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: and industry insiders say many of these employees have been
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: coming from retail and restaurant jobs. People are walking away
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: from stores and restaurants to work with weed people. They
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: say they enjoy the slower pace of the work and
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: a more desirable schedule, and they certainly don't miss the
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: hustle and bustle and stress of being on the front
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: lines at those stores and those restaurants. So there you go.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: So that's why you see a lot of now hiring
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: signs at restaurants and retail stores. Now you know where
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: they are. What's just slow down? We only got to that, man,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you ain't got to get to work till noon. Yeah,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: what what do you want? What is it? I do
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: think that we often ever changed in a lot of industries.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I just think a lot of things are not gonna
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: go back. There are some companies that's not going to reopen.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: There's some businesses that it's not reopening, and there's gonna
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: be a new way of doing things. Yeah, that's so true.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I was in the meeting last week. Man in Atlanta,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: went to guys office, ain't nobody in the meeting have
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: a mask on? I was sitting up that just masked
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: up you guys, said Steve, It's okay, we're all vaccinating
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: here at the company. Yeah that's cool. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right? So, guys, today is
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: National voter Registration Day. National voter Registration Day. That means
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: a lot our voting rights are under attack. As we
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: all know, voter suppression. We hear that term a lot.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: This is what it means. It's a strategy used to
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: influence the outcome of an election by discouraging or preventing
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: specific groups of people from voting. That's what voter suppression means.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: More than four hundred bills with provisions that restrict voting
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: access have been introduced in forty nine states in the
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: twenty twenty one legislative sessions. This is a new version
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: of Jim Crow laws, and Republicans describe it as election integrity.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Get that, okay, election integrity. There's no integrity anywhere in
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: any of these laws. Here are some voting registrations, restrictions.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Check it out. Absentee ballot short return deadlines. Okay, that's one.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Absentee ballot short return deadlines, complicated absentee ballot requirements, strict
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: voter photo ID laws, expelling disenfranchisement, laws not placing polling
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: places on college, university and campuses, requiring payment of fines
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: or fees as condition of vote restoration, voter intimidation, impersonating
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: law enforcement personnel or immigration officers. I mean, there's so
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: much in these laws that have come out to stop
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: us from voting, to stop you know, it's that's always
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: been a ploy of the right, because the right is
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: in the minority, and they've done everything in their power
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: to remain a power block even though they are minority.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Given example, the electoral college vote is simply because they
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: are but the minority, and by being the minority, they
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: can still have the same vote as the majority. That's
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: why we still have the electoral college vote. That's why
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: they won't get rid of it to take to make
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: it a fine hinders the poor. If you don't have this,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: then it's a fine. Well who now they know they're
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: dealing with people's money. If you don't put polling places
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: on campuses, now you restrict these young voters with the
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: ability to vote and get off campus and be able
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: to vote. Everything is done to stop a specific group
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: of people, not a specific group of people that they're
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: talking about are US blacks and people of color. This
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: is all designed for you. But what they do not
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: know is they are also affecting their low end voter block,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: which them rule county as people and them and them
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: and them damn hill billies that you count known and
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: everything they fit into this equation too, which you have
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: to be very very keenly whale, but they know it
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: affects the masses even more. Coming up, it is our
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Tuesday, and of
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: course at forty nine minutes after we'll have some closing
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only, our fearless leader, Steve Harvey.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are Tuesday, last break of
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: the day. Hopefully we got you started well on your
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: way to work or your home office or still in bed,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: whatever you're doing today. I think I think the officer
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: is done, but hopefully the companies can still say stay
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: in business. Yeah. Way, And before we go, we do
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: want to remind people that it is National voter Registration
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Day and for more information, please go to When we
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: All Vote dot org. When we All Vote dot org. Please. Hey.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: In closing today, I want to remind everybody of something
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: that if you aspire to be successful, if you aspire
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: to want more things out of life, if you aspire
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: to be great, if you aspire to have just anything
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: above normal, I just want to remind you of the
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: effort that is going to take. I want to let
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: you all know that becoming successful, if it were easy.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: You've heard this a thousand times. If it were easy,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: everybody would be successful. You've all heard that well. The
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: reason is twofold. The reason the average person is not
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: successful is because of faith and because of effort. You
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: need the two as a combination in order to be successful.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: One without the other is not the formula. The formula
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: is faith and effort in order to become successful. And listen,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: success is within all of us. It's just are you
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: willing to do the things it's necessary? Ask yourself this. Look,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: this is time to take real inventory and to ask
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: yourself some serious questions about how bad you want something.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: See Stop saying you want it, but then you ain't
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: willing to do what it takes to get it. Stop
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and one of the biggest things that stops us from
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: getting what we want is all we do is talk
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: about what other people have, what other people do, what
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: other people got, what other people want. Stop you're wasting
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: your time. This is not the way to become successful.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Successful people are not sitting around talking about other people.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: That's not how it works in order to become successful, Guys,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I am telling you it requires a maximum effort. I
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: don't care what nobody then told you. It ain't no
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: book now, ain't no book. Call easy way to the
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: top Three easy steps to be successful. Success is easy
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: is one two, three ABC, the ABC's of success and okay,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: where you can write the book if you want to
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: listen to me. In order to be successful, you have
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: to have a combination of two things. That's faith and effort.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: And in order to be successful, y'all, it's going to
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: take a maximum effort. I'm sorry. If you are where
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: you are, all you have to do is look at
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: those two things in your life and how they play out.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: If you're not where you want to be, but you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: are further than where you work, see, let me let
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: me share this with you. Success ain't how far you've come.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Success is how far you've come from where you starting. See,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: you can confuse that you're looking at if you judge
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: a success on how far how far you are, because
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: you can always look around and find somebody more successful you.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Somebody got more calls and you. Somebody got bigger how
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: somebody got more money. That ain't it for you? Stop
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: looking at these other people. I'm telling you, man, it's
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: gonna put the wrong color view you're gonna have of
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: your life and you'll start looking at yourself. It's not successful.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Successful ain't how far you've come. It's how far you've
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: come from where you started. A lot of us are
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: far better off than we used to be, but we
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: won't give ourselves no credit for that. You have to
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: maximize your effort. If you don't like where you are,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: simply look at your effort in your faith. You ain't
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: got to look around. It ain't my fault. It ain't
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: your job's fault. It ain't they fault. It ain't your
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: mamma for not supporting you. It ain't your daddy for
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: not being there. It's about your faith in your effort.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: You know how many people have made it have never
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: seen their father. Do you know how many people have
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: made it who come from tarnished backgrounds, who were really poor,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: whose mother was on drugs? Do you know how many
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: people have become successful out of foster care programs? I'm sorry, man,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: but you can create any excuse you want. Well, Steve,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I what about this? You ain't the first? Well, Steve,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: this is what happened to me. And we're not talking
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: about what happened to you. We're talking about what you're
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: gonna do about what has happened to you. Life is
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: ten percent what's happened to you it's ninety what you
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: do about what has happened to you. Listen to me,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: put forth a maximum effort. This is something I created,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: and I saw it on a quote on my page
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: the other day, and I forgot I said this. But
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I spend all my time building my dreams, so when
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: I get some time, I can live my dreams. I
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: spend all of my time building my dreams, so when
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: I get some time, I can live my dreams. So
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: you can miss me. With all these conversations y'all be
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: having about Steve he working it. He said he would
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: prefer wealth over health. Now I never said that, but
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I do know the effort that's required to be successful,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: and I'm telling you it ain't no shortcut to the top.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: You got to get busy with it. You got to
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: want something and you got to put the effort into
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: getting it. It's effort and faith. Stop listening to people
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: who are not successful tell you how to be successful.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: If you look at anybody that's successful, they're gonna tell
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you the same thing. It takes a maximum effort, and
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: you got to have a lot of faith. Faith is
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: a belief in things that you cannot see. You got
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: to have that man, because there's gonna be so many
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: days you ain't gonna see how you're gonna make it.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: But you gotta keep that faith in that relationship with
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: God wide open, and you gotta put forth from maximum affica.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: If you ain't gonna do that, man, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: I don't know what else to tell you. Uncle Steve
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: just trying to tell you the truth. If you don't
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: want to hear the truth, gonna try it your way,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: right a book. Let me know how to work out
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: for you. Y'all, have a great day, put forth from
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: maximum effort and keep your faith in God. That's a fact,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: see you. I know. For all Steve Harvey contests, no
