- 2:07Speaker 10: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 10: radio show. Okay, okay, here's what I want to share
- 2:20Speaker 10: with you. Stop complaining. So I had to let you
- 2:29Speaker 10: see how I let that one sit for a second.
- 2:33Speaker 10: Stop complaining. Do you realize without us even thinking about it,
- 2:43Speaker 10: oftentimes we just complain about stuff and it comes up
- 2:51Speaker 10: in such subtle forms. Man, I don't know why they're
- 2:55Speaker 10: still letting that lady work there. Man, If they don't
- 2:57Speaker 10: fire this woman, man, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 2:59Speaker 10: She drives me crazy. She always got something to say.
- 3:08Speaker 10: I bet today, though, the way I'm feeling right now,
- 3:10Speaker 10: I bet she better not say nothing to me today.
- 3:14Speaker 10: M h yeah, yeah, because day it today. It I'm
- 3:19Speaker 10: sick of her running in her mouth. Last time she
- 3:23Speaker 10: said something to me, I should have said something to it.
- 3:26Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying. I'm just giving you a
- 3:28Speaker 10: small example of how it starts to snowball. Once you
- 3:34Speaker 10: start to complains, it just carries over into so many things. Man,
- 3:40Speaker 10: Stop complaining about your car, Stop complaining about your bus pass,
- 3:45Speaker 10: Stop complaining about your kids can't seem to get it together.
- 3:48Speaker 10: Stop complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 3:52Speaker 10: Stop complaining. Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking have
- 3:59Speaker 10: you notice that in all of your complaining, it has
- 4:04Speaker 10: provided not one solution. The reason I'm telling you to
- 4:09Speaker 10: stop complaining because God is able, Because God is capable.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He is capable and able of.
- 4:21Speaker 10: Fixing anything, capable and able of curing anything, capable and
- 4:30Speaker 10: able of allowing you to get to adjusting to things,
- 4:36Speaker 10: and capable and able to strengthen you to get through
- 4:43Speaker 10: and change anything. But the key here is God is capable,
- 4:50Speaker 10: and God is able. A lot of times I find
- 4:54Speaker 10: myself complaining because I have not used my greatest asset,
- 5:00Speaker 10: and that's my relationship with God.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You all have one now.
- 5:03Speaker 10: You may not have nurtured it, but you have one
- 5:06Speaker 10: because God created you as his child. He's available to
- 5:10Speaker 10: you now. The fact that you ain't went to him. Okay,
- 5:13Speaker 10: once again, who fought as that? Stop complaining until you
- 5:20Speaker 10: strengthen your relationship with God and formulate this relationship.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You don't have enough weapons.
- 5:30Speaker 10: You ain't got a big enough shield to fight this
- 5:33Speaker 10: thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man, And unless
- 5:38Speaker 10: you develop a relationship with God, you need a partner
- 5:40Speaker 10: in all of this. Maybe you got another route you're
- 5:44Speaker 10: gonna take. But every successful person I know personally has
- 5:52Speaker 10: a relationship with God. I have some really really some
- 6:00Speaker 10: people that's kind of up there in the success term
- 6:02Speaker 10: in terms of business and money and statute. I'm just
- 6:07Speaker 10: talking about that portion of success. And then I have
- 6:10Speaker 10: a lot of people who are very successful in their
- 6:13Speaker 10: spiritual life, who have become great men of God and
- 6:17Speaker 10: women of God. But look at all of them, and
- 6:21Speaker 10: all of them have substantial amounts of you know, possessions
- 6:27Speaker 10: and things like that. Also, most successful people I know
- 6:32Speaker 10: have that even if you saw them never with a
- 6:36Speaker 10: big lot of house and a lot of money or
- 6:38Speaker 10: stuff like that, they had so much respect, so much love,
- 6:45Speaker 10: so much power was.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Given them from people.
- 6:49Speaker 10: That their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 6:54Speaker 10: like Ahma and Luther King or something like that, or
- 6:57Speaker 10: Gandhi or somebody who lived their life and serve or
- 7:00Speaker 10: Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people put.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Stuff at their feet because of their service.
- 7:06Speaker 10: So all successful people I know have that, Every last
- 7:09Speaker 10: one of these people that I know, they have relationship
- 7:12Speaker 10: with God. They use the tool that was available to
- 7:17Speaker 10: them to give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows,
- 7:22Speaker 10: the slings, the shield to fight this thing called life
- 7:25Speaker 10: and have the most valuable partner right there by they side,
- 7:28Speaker 10: They Heavenly Father God, because he will help you get
- 7:31Speaker 10: through this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 10: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:38Speaker 10: favor and strengthen your relationship with God?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Man? Why can I never get over? Well you have
- 7:43Speaker 1: not because you asked not. Man? How come I.
- 7:46Speaker 10: Always got problems? Well, you keep trying to solve them
- 7:48Speaker 10: yourself and taking them to your friends. You keep trying
- 7:51Speaker 10: to do them with your own thought process.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Who are you? I keep telling you?
- 7:55Speaker 5: Man?
- 7:56Speaker 10: You going through stuff you ain't got no business going through.
- 8:01Speaker 10: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 8:03Speaker 10: and over and over, and the same problem keep coming
- 8:06Speaker 10: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 8:10Speaker 10: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. He's your relationship.
- 8:14Speaker 10: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:17Speaker 10: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:20Speaker 10: when you invite a men. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 10: invite a men, they have a distinct advantage on their
- 8:29Speaker 10: road to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it
- 8:33Speaker 10: without him, trust me, you can. How far you get.
- 8:37Speaker 10: I can't promise you nothing, how well you handle it
- 8:40Speaker 10: when you arrived there, I can't promise you nothing. How
- 8:44Speaker 10: long you gonna stay there, I can't promise you nothing.
- 8:48Speaker 10: How difficult it is going to be without him. I
- 8:51Speaker 10: can't give you that. It's going to be far more difficult.
- 8:55Speaker 9: But you can.
- 8:55Speaker 10: Something can happen, and you, you know, receive a measure
- 8:59Speaker 10: of success and you think thin is you and this
- 9:01Speaker 10: move you made, and you can describe it as I
- 9:03Speaker 10: got lucky. I happen to be in the right place
- 9:06Speaker 10: at the right time. I got lucky. Lucky is usually
- 9:11Speaker 10: how other people describe other people's success. Boy, he was lucky,
- 9:15Speaker 10: he was right there. Well, let me tell you what
- 9:17Speaker 10: lucky is lucky is when hard work bumps up into opportunity.
- 9:21Speaker 10: If you've been working hard as something, the opportunity presents
- 9:24Speaker 10: itself that comes a match.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That's not luck.
- 9:28Speaker 10: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 9:31Speaker 10: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 9:37Speaker 10: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me.
- 9:41Speaker 10: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 9:44Speaker 10: And if you are a chronic complainer, it's because you
- 9:46Speaker 10: really really have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll
- 9:50Speaker 10: move it out for you. That I can tell you
- 9:52Speaker 10: for a fact. I know that for a fact he's
- 9:54Speaker 10: moved mine out. All right, let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 10: Morning, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, anybody else that's
- 10:06Speaker 10: listening this show right here. I don't know what to
- 10:09Speaker 10: tell you. It's just really really good. Nothing our others. Now,
- 10:13Speaker 10: I got no complaint. But if I had to pick
- 10:16Speaker 10: one to listen to, I do what you doing this morning?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 10:20Speaker 10: You made the right choice. Ain't no doubt about it.
- 10:22Speaker 10: Ain't no doubt about it. Oh you had a choice,
- 10:25Speaker 10: but you picked us. So since you picked us, here
- 10:28Speaker 10: we go one two, one two three. Folk, you picked us.
- 10:35Speaker 10: We must beat on one cause you picked us ready
- 10:40Speaker 10: to have some fun?
- 10:41Speaker 1: You picked us? Why oh why you picked us? Cause
- 10:48Speaker 1: we must be on one? You cause you picked up
- 10:51Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. You picked us.
- 10:53Speaker 10: That was the song of choice this morning. Why I
- 10:56Speaker 10: have no idea shunning Strawberry. Call it for real, Mississippi Monica.
- 11:02Speaker 10: Junior government name kill lewe Space, owner of KLSS Enterprises,
- 11:10Speaker 10: and the legend that is Nephew tunnyh Yeah, Junior.
- 11:15Speaker 1: What's on your mind this morning?
- 11:16Speaker 6: Can I talk about some month?
- 11:17Speaker 11: I just need a little bit of motivation, some understanding
- 11:20Speaker 11: real fast.
- 11:21Speaker 9: Uh.
- 11:22Speaker 11: You know we're coming to the closing in the year.
- 11:24Speaker 5: You know what is it?
- 11:25Speaker 12: We getting over to twenty twenty four, And I'm trying
- 11:27Speaker 12: to figure out, like when do we start putting the
- 11:29Speaker 12: plan together for twenty twenty four?
- 11:31Speaker 11: Do we start in twenty twenty four? Do we start now?
- 11:35Speaker 11: Or how do we start setting these goals together for
- 11:37Speaker 11: twenty twenty four.
- 11:38Speaker 10: As soon as I think of something that needs to
- 11:41Speaker 10: be accomplished or something I want to have on my
- 11:43Speaker 10: wish liss, I start to process immediately. I don't wait
- 11:49Speaker 10: for resolutions or New Year's and I start now. I've
- 11:53Speaker 10: learned that delaying does exactly that delays. Why would you
- 12:00Speaker 10: delay something that you want to happen? You start, and
- 12:04Speaker 10: once you start practicing the practice of procrastination, it takes
- 12:09Speaker 10: the root really fast, and next thing you know, you're
- 12:12Speaker 10: looking for special days to do this, special moments to
- 12:15Speaker 10: do that. And then you'll find out in life that
- 12:18Speaker 10: there is no correct time to start except now. And
- 12:21Speaker 10: it ain't no need of waiting on your ducks to
- 12:23Speaker 10: line up, because they ask will not line up. Them
- 12:26Speaker 10: damn ducks walks off in all kinds of directions. These
- 12:30Speaker 10: are not the ducks down at the Peabody in Memphis.
- 12:34Speaker 10: I'm telling you. They don't get in that line. They
- 12:36Speaker 10: don't come off that elevator and walk straight and get
- 12:38Speaker 10: in that damn water. These damn ducks in life, they
- 12:41Speaker 10: fly off, they go the other way. They go over
- 12:44Speaker 10: there and get in somebody, get in white people cars.
- 12:47Speaker 10: You be going, hey, s ass, do it, get out
- 12:51Speaker 10: to white people's college. So if you wait on your
- 12:54Speaker 10: ducks to line up, man, stop doing that.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Go now. I don't wait for resolute.
- 13:00Speaker 10: I've started everything that I want to that I'm hoping
- 13:03Speaker 10: for in twenty twenty four. I've already started fertilizing the seeds.
- 13:07Speaker 10: Yeah great, Yeah, that's.
- 13:09Speaker 1: How I do it.
- 13:09Speaker 10: Jun, I don't wait on resolutions. This is fun to
- 13:14Speaker 10: do them because I don't know. Yes, sound good. But
- 13:18Speaker 10: if you're gonna lose weight, see right now, like the
- 13:20Speaker 10: big one in twenty twenty four, gonna be to lose weight.
- 13:22Speaker 1: But you're finn to pack on fifteen.
- 13:26Speaker 9: Open to the.
- 13:28Speaker 1: That is you find have packed fifteen on this month?
- 13:33Speaker 1: All right? Uh, thank you guys.
- 13:36Speaker 9: That was good.

- 13:39Speaker 13: will hear from the nephew as he runs that prank
- 13:42Speaker 13: back right after this. You're listening hard Morning show. It
- 13:47Speaker 13: is time now for the nephew to run that prank back.

- 21:39Speaker 13: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:41Speaker 13: ask the clo. This one's from Beverly and Manhattan. Beverly writes,
- 21:47Speaker 13: I co parent a seventeen year old daughter with my
- 21:49Speaker 13: ex husband, and I punished her for breaking curfew and
- 21:53Speaker 13: her daddy bought her a car so.
- 21:55Speaker 4: She wouldn't be late getting home anymore. But I can't win.
- 22:02Speaker 4: How do I get him to work with me and
- 22:04Speaker 4: not against me.
- 22:05Speaker 10: Well, see your co parenting. So you're running up into
- 22:09Speaker 10: that situation that I used to run up into all
- 22:11Speaker 10: the time. It's the one parent wants to be the
- 22:14Speaker 10: Disney parent.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You know, when you do something punishment, they come over
- 22:19Speaker 1: here and it's Disney all the time. You know, I'm
- 22:22Speaker 1: the better parent, like me more. You know that type of.
- 22:27Speaker 10: Yeah, And it's just it's a horrible situation to be in.
- 22:31Speaker 10: I have no advice for you, nothing, what none?
- 22:36Speaker 1: No, you have something?
- 22:39Speaker 10: I mean the daddy, he got to look. Man, you
- 22:42Speaker 10: can't reward bad behavior. That's just not good parenting. People
- 22:48Speaker 10: do it all.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I just.
- 22:50Speaker 10: People are different, you know, like nowadays, you know, spanking
- 22:53Speaker 10: your child she's seventeen, But I'm just spanking your child
- 22:56Speaker 10: as outlawed a lot of places.
- 22:57Speaker 1: You can't do that. Ask what has been happening in
- 22:59Speaker 1: my house since they was born?
- 23:02Speaker 4: Hello, that's how we were raised, for sure.
- 23:06Speaker 10: And now they old enough where it don't have to
- 23:08Speaker 10: happen no more. But it was in my house.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And call who you want to call. Yeah, if you
- 23:15Speaker 1: gonna ask.
- 23:15Speaker 10: Him how many times I whooped his ass, he'll tell
- 23:17Speaker 10: you whinchon will tell you, broad Uncle will tell you,
- 23:20Speaker 10: and Jason will tell you. My daddy beat my ass
- 23:23Speaker 10: every time. He promised us. Well, you'll go in there
- 23:25Speaker 10: and talk to him about it. And they're such great kids,
- 23:27Speaker 10: do them good dudes?
- 23:28Speaker 1: Right here?
- 23:29Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 23:29Speaker 1: They are? They really are calls an ass? What the amen?
- 23:36Speaker 1: I never sprang, none of their daughters, but them boys.
- 23:40Speaker 4: I laid hands on Meliga in Tuskegee Rights.
- 23:43Speaker 13: My man leads the praise dance ministry at our church,
- 23:47Speaker 13: and my parents came to town and visited our church.
- 23:50Speaker 1: You're gonna love this, and Steve.
- 23:51Speaker 13: I didn't expect my dad to burst out laughing during
- 23:55Speaker 13: the performance. You know you don't like praise dad. How
- 24:02Speaker 13: do I get my dad to apologize? And how could
- 24:04Speaker 13: he be so rude?
- 24:06Speaker 10: Hey, your daddy ain't apologizing and your daddy ain't got
- 24:08Speaker 10: to apologize. I have said it this so and I'm
- 24:11Speaker 10: gonna say it again. I don't know why we have
- 24:13Speaker 10: praised Dan's team. These are all people. Look at it
- 24:17Speaker 10: and they all way overweight. They overweight, and they ain't
- 24:20Speaker 10: make the gymnastics squad. They didn't make it. They didn't
- 24:23Speaker 10: make the cheerleading teeth. Now here they come them little dim,
- 24:27Speaker 10: little dim, little half inch jumps off the ground and spitting,
- 24:30Speaker 10: got them big robes on and all this here, hey man, where.
- 24:33Speaker 1: The quiet dance? Your daddy came for the quad?
- 24:42Speaker 10: No fuhusband is set out there and put that robe
- 24:45Speaker 10: on and start waving his hands in the air, holding
- 24:48Speaker 10: his fingertips straight.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Your daddy was holly with your daddy. I've been next
- 24:54Speaker 1: to your daddy. Then your daddy would have been in
- 24:56Speaker 1: the Richard Prior concert. I'm talking about leaning on.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Each other, laughing in church during the performance. You ain't
- 25:10Speaker 4: never laughed at I'm just saying during the performance, I've
- 25:18Speaker 4: laughed at church.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I laughed at brother Rickerson walking around to put his
- 25:22Speaker 1: money in and fail right in. He failed. He dropped
- 25:26Speaker 1: his money in the trade. He just dropped boy tas
- 25:29Speaker 1: I couldn't breathe.
- 25:33Speaker 9: Now.
- 25:33Speaker 10: I didn't know if he had had a hard attack
- 25:35Speaker 10: or nothing, but the fact that he disappeared in front
- 25:38Speaker 10: of that Pete just dropped off. But he tried to
- 25:42Speaker 10: catch yourself and turned the money tray over flowing man.
- 25:47Speaker 1: All I was hugging movie about that time. Reggie.
- 25:55Speaker 10: Reggie was walking up the steps with his crying Robo
- 25:58Speaker 10: and Paul Walker stepped on the back over and tore
- 26:00Speaker 10: a hole in it.
- 26:02Speaker 9: Oh, come.
- 26:05Speaker 13: Lishe and Kenosha says, I've been married twice and my
- 26:09Speaker 13: seven year old son asked me not to get married again,
- 26:12Speaker 13: and he doesn't want my boyfriend to sleep over at
- 26:15Speaker 13: the house. Do I explain to my son that mommy's
- 26:18Speaker 13: life has to go on? Or do I keep my
- 26:20Speaker 13: man away for now?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, your baby seven years?

- 27:44Speaker 13: so I give her money even when I'm short. I
- 27:47Speaker 13: dipped into my savings so I don't disappoint her. How

- 53:59Speaker 4: Subject he says he loves her every.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Time they talk.
- 54:03Speaker 13: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been friends with my boyfriend for
- 54:06Speaker 13: seven years. I met him at work and there's another
- 54:09Speaker 13: girlfriend of ours that is our bestie. We were inseparable
- 54:13Speaker 13: back when we met, and it was a shocker for
- 54:15Speaker 13: our other friend. When we started dating. It just kind
- 54:18Speaker 13: of happened that one night we talked until the sun
- 54:21Speaker 13: came up and we ended up having sex on the
- 54:24Speaker 13: top of his car. He told me that it's always
- 54:26Speaker 13: been me, the apple of his eye, the girl of
- 54:29Speaker 13: his dream, and my heart melted. I called our other
- 54:33Speaker 13: friend to tell her the news, and she started crying.
- 54:36Speaker 13: I asked if she was happy or sad, and she
- 54:38Speaker 13: said both. She explained that she didn't want to lose
- 54:41Speaker 13: our friendship, but she was happy that we finally.
- 54:44Speaker 4: Hooked up because all he did was talk about me.
- 54:48Speaker 13: I made it a point to include her in our dates,
- 54:50Speaker 13: but that got old, so we'd sneak and go out,
- 54:53Speaker 13: and I'd forget to tell her. My boyfriend is an
- 54:57Speaker 13: honest person, so he'd always end up telling her that
- 55:00Speaker 13: he went out. And that brings me to another issue
- 55:02Speaker 13: that I have with them being so close. He would
- 55:05Speaker 13: always say I love you when he talked to me.
- 55:08Speaker 4: Or to her on the phone.
- 55:10Speaker 13: He's still saying it to her at the end of
- 55:12Speaker 13: the call before hanging up. He talks to her more
- 55:16Speaker 13: than I do, and she tells me things he shared
- 55:18Speaker 13: with her, and I have to act like I already
- 55:21Speaker 13: knew it. I am jealous, and I don't know how
- 55:24Speaker 13: to tell him without sounding silly. I asked him why
- 55:27Speaker 13: he doesn't tell me that he loves me every day,
- 55:29Speaker 13: and he said that I have his whole heart for
- 55:31Speaker 13: the rest of his life.
- 55:33Speaker 4: I don't want him loving another woman.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I don't think we should be friends with her anymore.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Is that too much to ask?
- 55:40Speaker 13: Well, I don't think it's too much to ask, but
- 55:42Speaker 13: I do think he is doing the most with telling
- 55:45Speaker 13: the other best friend that he loves her.
- 55:47Speaker 4: But I mean, you got the man, So why are
- 55:50Speaker 4: you being insecure now?
- 55:52Speaker 13: And if you feel some type of way about him
- 55:54Speaker 13: telling her he loves her, why aren't you telling him?
- 55:58Speaker 13: Since you guys are so close, I mean, you have
- 56:01Speaker 13: to make him understand that his behavior is inappropriate. Now
- 56:04Speaker 13: that you guys are a couple. I wonder why he
- 56:07Speaker 13: doesn't already know that, though, I mean why is I
- 56:11Speaker 13: don't get why he doesn't know that. How close were
- 56:15Speaker 13: the three of you?
- 56:16Speaker 4: Anyway?
- 56:18Speaker 13: I say this, if you guys were that tight, you
- 56:20Speaker 13: should be able to tell him how you feel. And
- 56:22Speaker 13: he should stop telling her he loves her immediately. I mean,
- 56:26Speaker 13: he should just be telling you that now. And the
- 56:29Speaker 13: fact that he doesn't tell you knowing that you want
- 56:31Speaker 13: it is dumb. It's such a small thing to make
- 56:34Speaker 13: you happy In order for this relationship to continue to work.
- 56:39Speaker 13: Only you should remain close friends with the other girl,
- 56:41Speaker 13: and he should be friendly, but keep his distance. It's
- 56:44Speaker 13: no longer the same since you guys cross the line
- 56:47Speaker 13: and the dynamics of the situation have changed now.
- 56:50Speaker 4: So to keep the peace, just you know, he needs
- 56:53Speaker 4: to step away.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Steve.
- 56:55Speaker 10: See, I don't understand the confusion here. I have told
- 57:00Speaker 10: y'all over and over and over about these men, about
- 57:05Speaker 10: these friendships with the opposite sex. They gonna get murky.
- 57:11Speaker 10: They get murky all the time. We get letter after
- 57:15Speaker 10: letter after letter all the time about one of these
- 57:19Speaker 10: relationships that was friendships and that the other person found
- 57:23Speaker 10: out about.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Now we're going this is craziness.
- 57:27Speaker 10: I don't really feel like responding to this letter because
- 57:30Speaker 10: I sound like a broken record at this point, because
- 57:34Speaker 10: I done told y'all about this. Y'all don't believe Uncle Steve.
- 57:38Speaker 10: I've said it over and over and over, and we
- 57:40Speaker 10: keep coming up. They keep coming back with a new
- 57:43Speaker 10: way that this happens, a new twist, but it all
- 57:48Speaker 10: comes back down.
- 57:49Speaker 1: To that same thing. I don't told y'all.
- 57:53Speaker 10: If you in a relationship and you have a close
- 57:57Speaker 10: friend that is of the opposite sex.
- 58:01Speaker 1: It's gonna cause a problem. Now here we go.
- 58:05Speaker 10: What's the surprise, But okay, I'll act. Oh wow, really, okay,
- 58:10Speaker 10: here we go. You've been friends with your boyfriend for
- 58:13Speaker 10: seven years. You met him at work. Then y'all got
- 58:16Speaker 10: another girl that's y'all's bestie. So now I was just
- 58:20Speaker 10: three summer friends. We were in separate back then, and
- 58:27Speaker 10: then one night you and the dude was talking to
- 58:31Speaker 10: the sun came up. Y'all ended up having sex on
- 58:35Speaker 10: top of his car. I can't I just can't tell
- 58:38Speaker 10: you how romantic this sound. This is how families begin
- 58:49Speaker 10: on the hood of a car. I don't know if
- 58:54Speaker 10: y'all was outside at somebody house. I don't know if
- 58:57Speaker 10: y'all was in the garage. It's just the hood or
- 59:00Speaker 10: the cough for me. But okay, that's how it started.
- 59:04Speaker 10: He told you that you had always been.
- 59:08Speaker 1: The apple of his eye.
- 59:11Speaker 10: So he took the apple and peeled it on top
- 59:14Speaker 10: of the cop Yep, he couldn't have find no more
- 59:17Speaker 10: special time. What if that don't make no difference the
- 59:20Speaker 10: passion get ahead of it. I've been on a car before,
- 59:23Speaker 10: I understand. So you called her other free to tell
- 59:27Speaker 10: her the news and she started crying. His help was
- 59:30Speaker 10: bust out crime. Now you asked her, was she happy
- 59:33Speaker 10: or sad? She told you both.
- 59:36Speaker 1: She said she.
- 59:36Speaker 10: Didn't want to lose y'all friendship, but she was happy
- 59:38Speaker 10: we finally hooked up because all he did was talk
- 59:41Speaker 10: about you. So then y'all started taking out on dates
- 59:44Speaker 10: and making sure y'all clued her. But then that got
- 59:47Speaker 10: old after a while. Right, So then y'all sneak and
- 59:49Speaker 10: go without and then your boyfriend running his damn mouth
- 59:52Speaker 10: because he's stupid.
- 59:53Speaker 1: You call him an honest man.
- 59:55Speaker 10: He tell her every time y'all went out, and then
- 59:59Speaker 10: he'd say I love when he talked to me or
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: her on the phone. But he's still saying it to her.
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: Longtime mercy. When we come back, the end is near.
- 1:00:10Speaker 13: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:13Speaker 13: coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:00:16Speaker 13: Strawberry letter. Subject he says he loves her every time
- 1:00:19Speaker 13: they talk. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:23Speaker 13: You're listening Steve.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:26Speaker 13: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:29Speaker 13: The subject is he says he loves her every time
- 1:00:31Speaker 13: they talk.
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: So, y'all seven years, y'all best friends. Told y'all what
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: happens with these friends at opposite six. I have told
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: y'all over and over and over up Steve and preaching
- 1:00:44Speaker 10: this to y'all. Y'all don't want to hear it. Okay, fine,
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: don't listen to me. But oftentimes it runs into a problem.
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: And here's another one. So then you know y'all was inseparable,
- 1:00:56Speaker 10: and then you know it became a shock to your
- 1:00:58Speaker 10: other friend from you and your boyfriend, and now boyfriends
- 1:01:01Speaker 10: started dating because y'all was best He used to hang out.
- 1:01:04Speaker 10: But y'all set up one night and you talked all
- 1:01:06Speaker 10: morning till the sun came up. Then y'all climbed up
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: on the car hand sex. Then he told you you
- 1:01:12Speaker 10: always been the apple of his eye. That's why he
- 1:01:14Speaker 10: peeled the apple on top of the car. See see
- 1:01:17Speaker 10: how this works. This is really really romantic. And then
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: you called your girlfriend to tell her the news, and
- 1:01:24Speaker 10: this helper busts our crime. Soon that you told her
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: she busts our crime, you asked her why she cried,
- 1:01:31Speaker 10: and she happy, saying she said both because.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: She don't want to lose y'all friendship.
- 1:01:36Speaker 10: But she happy y'all hooked up because all he did
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: was talk about you, right, So then you decided to
- 1:01:42Speaker 10: make it a point to include her and all y'all
- 1:01:43Speaker 10: dates all. But right after that, you said that got old,
- 1:01:48Speaker 10: So then y'all started sneaking out on your own. But
- 1:01:52Speaker 10: then your boyfriend is honest, so he tell her that
- 1:01:55Speaker 10: we y'all went out, and then that brings you to
- 1:01:58Speaker 10: another issue that you had with them being so close.
- 1:02:01Speaker 10: Now you got an issue with them being so close.
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: You said he would always say I love you when
- 1:02:06Speaker 10: he talked to me or her on the phone. He's
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: still saying it to her at the end of a
- 1:02:12Speaker 10: call before hanging up. He talks to her more than
- 1:02:17Speaker 10: I do, and she tells me things he shared with her,
- 1:02:20Speaker 10: and I gotta act like I already knew it. Now
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: I'm jealous, and I don't know how to tell him
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: without sounding silly. I asked him why he don't tell
- 1:02:30Speaker 10: me he loves me every day, and he said, I
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: have his whole heart for the rest of his life.
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: Oh okay, really, so y'all married? Now that ain't in
- 1:02:41Speaker 10: the letter y'all engaged. Now that ain't in the letter.
- 1:02:47Speaker 10: He bought your ring, popped a question that ain't in
- 1:02:50Speaker 10: the letter. I don't want him loving another woman when
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: you start feeling that just now, because all for seven years,
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: y'all was the best siason in love. He told each other,
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: you loved each other. But now, all of a sudden,
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: I don't want him loving another woman. I don't think
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: we should be friends with her anymore. Oh hell no,
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: Oh no, you didn't. Oh I know good, Hell well,
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: you ain't finna break up this friendship. I don't think
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: we should be friends with her anymore. It's that too
- 1:03:26Speaker 10: much to ask. Hell yeah, it's too much to ask,
- 1:03:30Speaker 10: and it's too late to ask. Y'all started this this way.
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: I told y'all. I told y'all, this don't work. I
- 1:03:43Speaker 10: don't want him loving another woman. And so you think
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: he just gonna stop because that ain't what you want.
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: He got both of y'all, He got both of y'all.
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: Ain't nothing you can do about it. They talk every days,
- 1:04:00Speaker 10: her stuff. He don't tell you, because them them to
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: talk more than you and her talk.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: So guess what he did.
- 1:04:07Speaker 10: He didn't decide she'd have told him it hurt me
- 1:04:10Speaker 10: so bad when you got with her because I'm afraid
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: of her.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Baby, don't you worry about that? I love you too,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: So now he got to tell her that every time?
- 1:04:17Speaker 13: Yes, sure, when he's on the phone when they're getting
- 1:04:20Speaker 13: ready to get off. How does he say I love
- 1:04:23Speaker 13: you to the other friend? What's that about?
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Listen to me? Always notice I love you. Okay, if
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: you ever need me, call me on herep.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: Way too much.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: He's with the other friend though, Yeah.
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's finna go down too,
- 1:04:40Speaker 10: because she feels solidified this friend. Show the other girl friendly, finish,
- 1:04:44Speaker 10: get at him if she ain't all that. They're real close?
- 1:04:52Speaker 10: Yeah close, yeah, see all this is happening. But see
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: now I don't want him loving another woman. But he do, though,
- 1:05:02Speaker 10: and he tell it to it right in front of
- 1:05:04Speaker 10: your face. And now you just not had I don't
- 1:05:06Speaker 10: think we should be friends with her anymore? Am I
- 1:05:09Speaker 10: asking too much? You asking something that ain't gonna happen.
- 1:05:12Speaker 10: He ain't made no commitment to you, you ain't got
- 1:05:14Speaker 10: no ring, you ain't engaged, you didn't move in the
- 1:05:18Speaker 10: rest of your life for a whole life. People make
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: that commitment by rings, have wedding days, start families. He
- 1:05:26Speaker 10: got both, y'all. He comfortable, He got his cake and
- 1:05:29Speaker 10: eating it. What this ideal? And you're sitting up in
- 1:05:34Speaker 10: here talking about I don't want him to be friends
- 1:05:37Speaker 10: with her. I don't want him loving another woman.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: What? See?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Why y'all? Why y'all? I done told y'all, you know what.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Let me make this statement right here. I think I'm.
- 1:05:49Speaker 10: Getting really really close to not responding to any more
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: of these damn letters. No, next time person write me
- 1:06:01Speaker 10: about this girl friend that's friends with her boy, I'm.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: A tatty letter up and just let shure don't ask uncle.
- 1:06:10Speaker 10: See, I'm real client saying it shit, But I'm damn
- 1:06:12Speaker 10: near close to saying we don't get another one soon.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: You're right there, You're right there, I be damn you
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: should start it with that. Start your response with that,

- 1:07:47Speaker 12: aren't you allowed to miss it? Even though you are
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: a superstar NBA player.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: You right now, I have missed a whole lot of
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: stuff for my kid to work. Yeah, that get over
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: if you got it. I mean, if you got a gig,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: don't know how you can just switch your gig out
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: to you.
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: The video bruh, take the game, bruh.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: You have an obligation.
- 1:08:14Speaker 10: Your obligation to fulfill your contract is bigger than seeing
- 1:08:18Speaker 10: your son's first game.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry.
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: That's just those are the sacrifices you have to make
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: when you when you at the top of the food chain,
- 1:08:27Speaker 10: you don't get to.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Do what you want to do. You do what you
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: have to do. That will argue with you on that one.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I understand that and all that, but family is first.
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: But if you don't make this money to take care
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: of your family, who are family at now? Because see,
- 1:08:43Speaker 10: the average person can't miss a day's work to go
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: to the children's play because at one day's work will
- 1:08:50Speaker 10: affect that check greatly. I mean, I mean, let's just
- 1:08:53Speaker 10: talk about it now. Lebron is a billionaire, he can
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: miss a check. I'm talking to the average person out here.
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: You can't.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: You can't do that. I can't. Yeah, we have to go.
- 1:09:03Speaker 10: But but I'm just saying that, and people can all
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: goll it what it sounds noble to say that. Yeah,
- 1:09:08Speaker 10: but in the reality and the total scope.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Of things, I missed a lot of things my kids
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: did growing.
- 1:09:12Speaker 11: Up, A whole lot being being the superstar you are
- 1:09:16Speaker 11: and everything.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: No trying to become a superstar.
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: Dog.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: This was before that, you know. I mean, if lebron
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: can miss if you.
- 1:09:28Speaker 11: Want to a personal day is just it's a person today.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: We ain't got that kind of job. We got to
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: be here because they know where you are. I ain't
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: lying time.
- 1:09:38Speaker 11: I can't swish to gig. I ain't making now one
- 1:09:40Speaker 11: of my no nephew football games.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Not one. All right, don't miss no gig man, know
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: that now, tell me ahead of time, and I won't
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: book nothing.
- 1:09:48Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour, a woman
- 1:09:51Speaker 13: on social media needs some advice, Steve.

- 1:11:17Speaker 10: let me get on out of here, because I can't

- 1:11:39Speaker 10: the mirage. I said, good to me, God you out
- 1:11:44Speaker 10: here with this damn whip.
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: All right again?
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: To register your chance to win god shield.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Dot Com.
- 1:11:55Speaker 13: It's timed out to switch gears Maya Steve on Facebook Rights.
- 1:12:00Speaker 13: This year, a real estate investor bought the town homes
- 1:12:04Speaker 13: on both sides of mine and started renting them out.
- 1:12:07Speaker 13: One of the tenants is quiet and we get along great.
- 1:12:11Speaker 13: But the other tenant has people coming and going at
- 1:12:15Speaker 13: all hours and is constantly making noise, waking me up
- 1:12:19Speaker 13: at night a couple of times a week. It's really
- 1:12:21Speaker 13: made living in my home less desirable. If I call
- 1:12:24Speaker 13: the cops on them, they're going to know it's me.
- 1:12:28Speaker 13: I don't want to start a war with my neighbor,
- 1:12:30Speaker 13: but I can't handle this much longer.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 1:12:34Speaker 10: Well, let me tell you a couple of things. You
- 1:12:35Speaker 10: get the neighbor to move in next door. It's people
- 1:12:37Speaker 10: coming in and out all the time. That's a trap house.
- 1:12:40Speaker 10: You need to understand what that is.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: That's a track.
- 1:12:43Speaker 10: Yeah, they're selling dope up in. There's myth crack stuff
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: like that. There's an odd smell coming through your wall.
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: You need to check into that right there. Secondly, when
- 1:12:52Speaker 10: you call the police, know that after the police come,
- 1:12:57Speaker 10: they do leave that they don't stay there. They don't
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: put a car front watch you. So when you call
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: the police, know this, they leave.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: They on to the next one. They busy. Now you
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: in here, you gotta deal with them. People are coming
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: in and out that trap house.
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: It's just all types of night, all different people in
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: all this here.
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: You know, So you got that out of.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: If you don't see the same going twice.
- 1:13:29Speaker 13: The other tenant has people coming and going at all hours,
- 1:13:33Speaker 13: and it's constant.
- 1:13:38Speaker 11: Yeah, I agree, all times a night, all times in hours.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: It's all hours.
- 1:13:43Speaker 9: She said.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: And let me ask you another question.
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: All the people that come up to the house, all
- 1:13:48Speaker 10: of them real skinny, All the people real skinny. Okay,
- 1:13:57Speaker 10: And they scratching at the door. They look like the
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: itch they dig on theyself. They standing up scratching.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm telling you right now. Yeah.
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: And if you any of them got bad teeth, all
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: this you see bad teeth and the inching alive.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Yeah. What should she do? What you need you need
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: to move?
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: What you need to do?
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: What are you scratching? That's make you scrach?
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: Okay, I was, I got it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I know a dude that's on method were talking to
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Due said, man, you need.
- 1:14:35Speaker 13: To all right, Uh, we'll have more of the Steve

- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Because listen to this. This is kind of cute.
- 1:14:58Speaker 13: Neil Long speaking, Nia Long posted her only regret. Her
- 1:15:03Speaker 13: only regret was not seeing Usher in Las Vegas. But
- 1:15:07Speaker 13: then Usher responded to Nia, saying, quote, I'll be back
- 1:15:11Speaker 13: in Vegas on February eleventh.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Wasn't that cute?
- 1:15:16Speaker 9: I know? Right there.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: He just greeted Usher.
- 1:15:23Speaker 11: Oh man, get on your nerves everybody. He got to
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: sing everybody, everybody?
- 1:15:29Speaker 13: Did you see him singing to Mary Jay? She wasn't
- 1:15:33Speaker 13: having it. Every time he put his hands on her,
- 1:15:35Speaker 13: she pushed his hands back. But anyway, so, do you
- 1:15:39Speaker 13: guys have any regrets?
- 1:15:40Speaker 12: Uh?

- 1:23:01Speaker 9: That's it.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: She's so to stop at some point and fill up.
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: Right, you can roll to Dallas, but not not having
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: to stop and roll back. Not having to stop. Now
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: you got to stop and course of counter. You got
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: to get you some.
