- 0:01Speaker 1: Center. Nice to be with you. And the Biden administration
- 0:04Speaker 1: is really excited. They think they nailed it on Afghanistan.
- 0:08Speaker 1: They're very proud of what they did. They came out
- 0:11Speaker 1: with this paper that they said proves how good the
- 0:14Speaker 1: withdrawal was from Afghanistan, and that's the apparently the history books,
- 0:18Speaker 1: how it's going to be remembered. If you listen to
- 0:20Speaker 1: this administration your reaction. Look, I think it's really sad.
- 0:24Speaker 1: We've talked before in this podcast about how this White
- 0:27Speaker 1: House treats national security and foreign policy as public relations.
- 0:33Speaker 1: It's all a communications effort. So they put out this
- 0:37Speaker 1: this twelve page white paper that is just designed to
- 0:40Speaker 1: say everything's perfect, everything's fine, and they're hoping that the
- 0:45Speaker 1: media will will bleat like sheep and go along with that.
- 0:50Speaker 1: The disaster, the debacle of Biden's surrender to the Taliban
- 0:57Speaker 1: and withdrawal from Afghanistan will be forgotten. I think that's
- 1:00Speaker 1: disrespectful to the thirteen servicemen and women who were murdered there.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I think it's disrespectful to the Afghans we left behind
- 1:09Speaker 1: who were tortured, whose lives, who may well have been
- 1:12Speaker 1: murdered as well. I think it's disrespectful to all of
- 1:16Speaker 1: those who who shed blood, who lost limbs fighting in
- 1:21Speaker 1: Afghanistan that this administration cares so little about their sacrifice.
- 1:27Speaker 1: They're not even bothering to worry about what went wrong.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You and I talked about this on a previous podcast
- 1:36Speaker 1: not that long ago, that one of the individuals on
- 1:39Speaker 1: the ground there that was trying to save lives told
- 1:42Speaker 1: his story finally that he believed he had the suicide
- 1:46Speaker 1: bomber and his sites. Yes, there was no chain of command,
- 1:48Speaker 1: there was no orders allowed, basically for them to take
- 1:51Speaker 1: out this perspective suicide bomber and then all of a
- 1:55Speaker 1: sudden he and he's blown up and survived it. Many
- 1:58Speaker 1: others did not, that you just mentioned. But for them
- 2:01Speaker 1: to come out with a white paper, and white paper
- 2:02Speaker 1: is supposed to be non political, serious documents, This was
- 2:05Speaker 1: political propaganda at its best. So let me say that
- 2:09Speaker 1: the podcast we did several weeks ago, if you didn't
- 2:12Speaker 1: listen to it, let me encourage you to go back
- 2:14Speaker 1: and listen to it, because it really is. It's a
- 2:17Speaker 1: powerful This young marine testified before the House of Representatives
- 2:24Speaker 1: and he told his story. He told the story that
- 2:27Speaker 1: the suicide bomber. They didn't tell about who he was,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and they spotted him, and they had him in their sights,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and they could have taken him out. They could have
- 2:35Speaker 1: taken him out before he committed the suicide bombing, and
- 2:38Speaker 1: the political higher ups in the Biden administration wouldn't allow
- 2:42Speaker 1: them to do so. And the result was thirteen servicemen
- 2:46Speaker 1: and women were murdered, and this young marine was horrendously injured.
- 2:52Speaker 1: He wasn't killed, but he told his story. And I
- 2:55Speaker 1: got to say, the reason I would encourage you to
- 2:56Speaker 1: go back and listen to that podcast is because the
- 3:00Speaker 1: media won't cover it. They won't cover it at all.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Their facts that don't exist, because if you listen, in
- 3:07Speaker 1: that pod, we played almost the entirety of his congressional
- 3:10Speaker 1: testimony because it was so powerful, and it's a story that,
- 3:14Speaker 1: in any sane world, should be the lead story on
- 3:19Speaker 1: the six o'clock news. And yet when we have journalists
- 3:24Speaker 1: that refused to tell the truth, refused to cover news,
- 3:29Speaker 1: refused to cover facts, that view their job as propagandists
- 3:34Speaker 1: for the White House, it's terrible. And look here you've
- 3:37Speaker 1: got John Kirby, the the appointed spokesperson, just just standing up,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and he was offended that the media even questioned him
- 3:46Speaker 1: and this administration's response in Afghannison, he got animated, like
- 3:50Speaker 1: not animated that Americans died and that he was frustrated
- 3:54Speaker 1: about what happened with the talban animate that how dare
- 3:56Speaker 1: you think we didn't do this perfectly take a look,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and so we're all this talk of chaos. I just
- 4:02Speaker 1: didn't see it, not from my perch. At one point
- 4:04Speaker 1: during the evacuation, there was an aircraft taking off full
- 4:07Speaker 1: of people Americans in afghansa lake every forty eight minutes,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and not one single mission was missed. So I'm sorry,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I just won't buy the whole argument of chaos. He's right,
- 4:16Speaker 1: they were taking off. They were taking off with Americans
- 4:19Speaker 1: and other people that were trying to clamor and some
- 4:21Speaker 1: that lost their lives hanging on trying to be stowaways
- 4:24Speaker 1: on an airplane and let's be clear, hanging onto the
- 4:26Speaker 1: wheels as the planes were taking off. He said he
- 4:29Speaker 1: didn't see it. He didn't see the chaos. Look, that's offensive.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, if if it were my spouse,
- 4:37Speaker 1: my brother, my sister who died in that suicide bombing,
- 4:41Speaker 1: listening to that, I'm going to speak nicely that individual
- 4:48Speaker 1: saying I didn't see any chaos. Say that to the
- 4:52Speaker 1: thirteen coffins that came back with American flags on them.
- 4:56Speaker 1: He didn't see any any chaos. Say that to the
- 5:00Speaker 1: Afghan interpreters who risk their lives to help us, only
- 5:04Speaker 1: to be abandoned by these clowns, to be tortured to
- 5:08Speaker 1: death by the Taliban. He didn't see any chaos. Well,
- 5:12Speaker 1: what about abandoning the Bogram Airfield, a secure military airfield
- 5:16Speaker 1: that we spent billions building and abandoning it before the
- 5:22Speaker 1: evacuation happened. For him to say he didn't see any chaos,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I believe him, But that's because he's deliberately looking away.
- 5:30Speaker 1: They don't want They're like the monkeys, see no evil here,
- 5:33Speaker 1: no evil. Let me tell you something that's evil because
- 5:36Speaker 1: their screw up cost people lives. And if he didn't
- 5:39Speaker 1: see any chaos, it's only because he refused to look. Historically,
- 5:43Speaker 1: white papers have usually been serious documents, not propaganda like this,
- 5:48Speaker 1: And when they have tried to use these kind of
- 5:50Speaker 1: big synopsis of historic events that have gone wrong for
- 5:54Speaker 1: political reasons, usually the media will throw down on that
- 5:58Speaker 1: they're not doing it this time. Is that how far
- 6:00Speaker 1: we've lost the media? In your opinion, anyone that sees us,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and there are a few, there were a few that
- 6:06Speaker 1: did call them out on this. But by not calling
- 6:09Speaker 1: them out, aren't you basically going along with a narrative
- 6:11Speaker 1: because there's something I canna say. Okay, I'm not gonna
- 6:13Speaker 1: report on it. I'll just be silent. That'll be my
- 6:16Speaker 1: way of protesting it. Look, there is a theme across
- 6:18Speaker 1: the board of this administration, in this White House. They
- 6:21Speaker 1: lie for a living, whether it's John Kirby lying about Afghanistan,
- 6:26Speaker 1: whether it is Mayorchas lying in front of the Senate
- 6:28Speaker 1: Judiciary Committee, whether it's Karen Jean Pierre standing up and
- 6:32Speaker 1: lying over and over and over again. People aren't just
- 6:35Speaker 1: walking across the border. She says, well, that's a lie.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yes they are. They are today. The amazing thing about
- 6:42Speaker 1: that lie of hers, it is a lie every day
- 6:44Speaker 1: of the year, three hundred and sixty five days a year.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Because there has not been a day when Joe Biden
- 6:49Speaker 1: was president when there were not people walking across the border.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And the brazenness of it, he can stand up and
- 6:56Speaker 1: say I didn't see any chaos because he knows that
- 7:01Speaker 1: the number of journalists remaining in America is vanishingly small.
- 7:05Speaker 1: That they are that they might as well have pom
- 7:09Speaker 1: poms and mini skirts and be chanting, go Biden, because
- 7:14Speaker 1: that's where they are. Look look at look at the
- 7:18Speaker 1: next thing, Kirby said. Nobody's saying that everything was perfect.
- 7:21Speaker 1: But there was a lot that went right, and a
- 7:23Speaker 1: lot of Afghans are now living better lives in this
- 7:26Speaker 1: country and other countries around the world because of the
- 7:29Speaker 1: sacrifices in the work of so many American government officials.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So yeah, there's a lot to be proud of. Peter,
- 7:35Speaker 1: he's mad, how dare you questioned us? And he's proud.
- 7:39Speaker 1: There's a lot to be proud of. Really, you want
- 7:42Speaker 1: to tell those widows that how proud you are of
- 7:45Speaker 1: the incompetence of this administration. And by the way, at
- 7:49Speaker 1: the time this happened, everybody knew it was incompetent. I
- 7:53Speaker 1: remember Afghanistan. When the disaster happened, this White House was
- 7:57Speaker 1: caught flat footed because up until that point the press
- 8:01Speaker 1: had just been sharing them on and it was the
- 8:02Speaker 1: first criticism they got because it was so bad people
- 8:06Speaker 1: turn on the TV and saw human beings clinging to
- 8:10Speaker 1: the wheels of planes as they took off. They saw
- 8:13Speaker 1: people that nobody could defend it at the time. See
- 8:19Speaker 1: what's really shameless about this also is this is revisionist history.
- 8:22Speaker 1: This is trying to go back and say, don't believe
- 8:26Speaker 1: your lying eyes when you saw it happen. I'm telling
- 8:29Speaker 1: you what the official government story is. He's proud of
- 8:33Speaker 1: the job they did. You know what, it's shocking. Nobody
- 8:37Speaker 1: lost their job. Secretary Defense wasn't fired, The Chairman of
- 8:40Speaker 1: the Joint Chiefs wasn't fired. John Kirby wasn't fired. John
- 8:45Speaker 1: Kirby's like Baghdad. Bobby stands up there and just spends
- 8:48Speaker 1: no chaos. Everything great. You should be proud. Nobody lost
- 8:52Speaker 1: their job. The commanding officer that refused to give the
- 8:55Speaker 1: order take out the suicide bomber before he murders those
- 8:59Speaker 1: servicemen and women. As far as we know, that commanding
- 9:01Speaker 1: officer didn't lose his or her job. Zero accountability, and
- 9:08Speaker 1: the Biden White House doesn't want any accountability. This white
- 9:11Speaker 1: paper is designed to cover up and to tell on
- 9:16Speaker 1: alternate history. Everything's fine. You know, it's reminiscent of during
- 9:22Speaker 1: the Antifa in Black Lives Matter riots, fiery but mostly
- 9:28Speaker 1: peaceful protest. That's there as buildings are burning behind reporters,
- 9:33Speaker 1: mostly peaceful out here as a building's burning behind them.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That is what John Kirby is doing, and he thinks
- 9:40Speaker 1: the American people are either stupid or lazy. I want
- 9:44Speaker 1: to play another clip of Kirby, but before you get that,
- 9:45Speaker 1: I want to talk to you real quick about our
- 9:47Speaker 1: friends in Augusta Precious Metals. You know what's happening in
- 9:49Speaker 1: the economy, you know what's been happening with banks recently.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And if you're close to retirement age or in retirement
- 9:54Speaker 1: and you need to preserve your hard earned dollars protect
- 9:57Speaker 1: your wealth, I want you to check out a Precious Metals.
- 10:01Speaker 1: You can go online to Augusta Precious Medals right now
- 10:03Speaker 1: and you can do something that no one else does
- 10:05Speaker 1: the industry. They actually do a web conference with you

- 10:12Speaker 1: talking about your four one K and how gold and
- 10:15Speaker 1: silver can be used to help you preserve and protect
- 10:17Speaker 1: your wealth. Look, if you're close to retirement, you know
- 10:20Speaker 1: there's no time to make up losses. That is where
- 10:23Speaker 1: gold and silver can come in to diversify your portfolio.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Call them and use my name Ben and they will
- 10:30Speaker 1: actually give you for ten years all of your fees
- 10:33Speaker 1: covered the number eight seven seven four gold IRA eight
- 10:38Speaker 1: seven seven four Gold IRA or online Augusta Precious Metals
- 10:42Speaker 1: dot Com. Use a promo code Ben Augusta Precious Metals
- 10:47Speaker 1: dot Com center. I want to play just another example
- 10:50Speaker 1: of Kirby because he wasn't backing down. I got to
- 10:52Speaker 1: respect the plan. Go in there, defend at all costs.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Do not accept any type of defeat on anything. Here's
- 10:59Speaker 1: another example, the arrogance. Once you turn it over, it's
- 11:02Speaker 1: just like what we're doing in Ukraine. We give Ukrane
- 11:07Speaker 1: partillery ammunition, Stinger anti air missiles, Javelin anti It's their
- 11:11Speaker 1: stuff at that point, not the Americans. It's their stuff.
- 11:15Speaker 1: That stuff belonged to the Afghans. And so this idea
- 11:17Speaker 1: of this argument is just ludicrous that we left millions
- 11:21Speaker 1: of dollars of stuff in Afghanistan. We didn't. We turned
- 11:24Speaker 1: it over as the previous administration would have done too,
- 11:27Speaker 1: because part of their thinking was they were gonna have
- 11:30Speaker 1: to turn this material over. It was turned over appropriately
- 11:33Speaker 1: and carefully and deliberately with the Afghan National Security Defense Forces.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It wasn't done carefully. I think we can agree on
- 11:39Speaker 1: that it wasn't done appropriately in an orderly fashion the
- 11:43Speaker 1: way that he described it, and it wasn't turned over
- 11:46Speaker 1: to the Afghan forces the way he implied, because we
- 11:49Speaker 1: saw this stuff pop into the hands of actual terrorists
- 11:52Speaker 1: instantly on social media. Yeah, so he left out kind
- 11:56Speaker 1: of the most important context. It's true that we gave
- 11:59Speaker 1: the Afghan meloy weapons to kill the Taliban. What the
- 12:03Speaker 1: Biden administration screwed up and did is they let all
- 12:07Speaker 1: those weapons fall in the hands of the Taliban. So
- 12:09Speaker 1: literally we gave them these weapons to shoot the terrorists.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Now the terrorists have the weapons that were given to
- 12:18Speaker 1: shoot the terrorists. And by the way, among other things,
- 12:21Speaker 1: what all has been lost? So the Taliban are believed
- 12:24Speaker 1: to control more than two thousand armored vehicles, including US humbs,
- 12:29Speaker 1: up to forty aircrafts potentially including Blackhawks and Scout attack
- 12:34Speaker 1: helicopters and Scan Eagle military drones. Between two thousand and
- 12:40Speaker 1: two and twenty seventeen, the United States gave the Afghan
- 12:43Speaker 1: military an estimated twenty eight billion dollars in weapons, including guns, rockets,
- 12:51Speaker 1: night vision goggles, and small drones for intelligence gathering. Between
- 12:56Speaker 1: two thousand and three and twenty sixteen, the United States
- 12:59Speaker 1: provided a forces with two hundred and eight aircraft, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: since two thousand and three, the United States has provided
- 13:07Speaker 1: Afghan forces with at least six hundred thousand infantry weapons,
- 13:14Speaker 1: including M sixteens, including one hundred and sixty two thousand
- 13:19Speaker 1: pieces of communication equipment, and including over sixteen thousand night
- 13:24Speaker 1: vision goggles and the night vision goggles. When you talk
- 13:27Speaker 1: to Special Forces troops that have been deployed there, the
- 13:30Speaker 1: night vision goggles actually concerned them, maybe more than anything else,
- 13:34Speaker 1: because one of the great advantages our military had in
- 13:37Speaker 1: dealing with the terrorists is that we had the ability
- 13:40Speaker 1: to see at night and to wage warfare at night,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and the terrorists couldn't see us. Now, thanks to these
- 13:48Speaker 1: guys in competence, the terrorists are equipped like a US
- 13:54Speaker 1: military battalion. And for him to claim, well, gosh it was,
- 13:58Speaker 1: there's no the weapons were given to kill them. These
- 14:03Speaker 1: are Taliban terrorists. And the sad thing is, we know
- 14:11Speaker 1: Americans are going to lose their lives with those M
- 14:14Speaker 1: sixteens with those weapons, with those night vision goggles. We
- 14:19Speaker 1: know that Americans will die, and this administration will wipe
- 14:23Speaker 1: their hands and say there was no chaos. It was
- 14:27Speaker 1: their equipment, and they're proud of handing billions of dollars
- 14:33Speaker 1: of military weapons over to the Taliban. Does Kirby remember
- 14:38Speaker 1: September eleventh? Does he remember the planes flying into the
- 14:41Speaker 1: World Trade Center? As he remember the plane flying into
- 14:44Speaker 1: the Pentagon. These are the same bastards that now have
- 14:48Speaker 1: billions of dollars of US military equipment. Those guys killed
- 14:52Speaker 1: over three thousand lives with a couple of box cutters.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Now they've got armored vehicles and M sixteens and black helicopters.
- 15:01Speaker 1: To say this is a catastrophic screw up is an understatement. Oh,
- 15:07Speaker 1: he says it was organized. Though I agree it was
- 15:09Speaker 1: an organized screw up. It could not have been screwed
- 15:13Speaker 1: up more if they tried and look part of the
- 15:17Speaker 1: reason I mentioned before Bagram Airfield. Listen, at some point
- 15:23Speaker 1: we were going to pull out of Afghanistan. I think
- 15:25Speaker 1: it made sense. I'm not a believer in forever wars.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm not a believer in staying there forever but when
- 15:32Speaker 1: you are doing a draw down, it makes sense to
- 15:35Speaker 1: have a serious, competent plan for drawing down. Number one,
- 15:39Speaker 1: to get all the Americans out. Number two, to get
- 15:42Speaker 1: your allies, the Afghans who risked their lives out. Number three,
- 15:47Speaker 1: to vet the Afghans who are coming, to make sure
- 15:50Speaker 1: you're not bringing terrorists. What was amazing about what Biden
- 15:54Speaker 1: did is it was utter chaos on a couple of fronts.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Number One, the White House set an arbitrary political debt line.
- 16:00Speaker 1: They said, okay, troops must be drawn down to twenty
- 16:04Speaker 1: five hundred fewer. And their goal was they wanted to
- 16:07Speaker 1: be out on the anniversary of September eleven. There was
- 16:10Speaker 1: a political deadline. It was set by the White House.
- 16:12Speaker 1: We want to trumpet this political objective. Look, we got
- 16:15Speaker 1: out of this war, so we're sitting the date nine
- 16:18Speaker 1: to eleven so we can have a big victory. You know,
- 16:21Speaker 1: mission accomplished. This is George W. Bush landing on the
- 16:24Speaker 1: aircraft carrier. This is Joe Biden saying mission accomplished. And listen,
- 16:29Speaker 1: the military told told the White House we can't secure
- 16:35Speaker 1: Bogram air Field and also the embassy and the airport
- 16:41Speaker 1: in cobble, and the White House essentially said, we don't care.
- 16:46Speaker 1: We've set a goal. It's a political goal, never mind
- 16:48Speaker 1: the military problems. And so they forced the military to
- 16:52Speaker 1: abandon Bogram air Field. Now, the problem is, if you're
- 16:57Speaker 1: going to do a withdrawal, you want to do it
- 17:01Speaker 1: from a secure airfield where people can't come in with
- 17:03Speaker 1: suicide bombers and kill people. When they abandoned Bogram and
- 17:07Speaker 1: handed it to the Taliban, they were forced to do
- 17:11Speaker 1: their withdrawal from a crowded commercial airport in the middle
- 17:15Speaker 1: of a dense urban environment that didn't have a secure perimeter.
- 17:18Speaker 1: They had a secure airport, they gave it away. And
- 17:23Speaker 1: their withdrawal Afghans was both over inclusive and under inclusive.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It was under inclusive and that they left a great
- 17:31Speaker 1: many people behind who had risked their lives to help
- 17:34Speaker 1: the American military, and it is grotesquely immoral that we
- 17:38Speaker 1: know that at least some of those have been tortured
- 17:41Speaker 1: and perhaps even murdered by the Taliban as a result
- 17:45Speaker 1: of their helping America. But it was also over inclusive,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and that at the end it seemed like they were
- 17:50Speaker 1: just grabbing up anyone who showed up, and so we
- 17:53Speaker 1: don't know how many terrorists the Biden administration flew to America.
- 18:00Speaker 1: What we do know is that included among those that
- 18:03Speaker 1: they evacuated were adult men with child brides. Because look,
- 18:10Speaker 1: you'd have a family that was desperate to get their
- 18:12Speaker 1: little girl out of Afghanistan, and so they'd take a
- 18:16Speaker 1: little girl, a young ten eleven, twelve year old girl,
- 18:19Speaker 1: and hand that child over to a grown ass man
- 18:24Speaker 1: and say, have raised your wife? And you as com
- 18:29Speaker 1: thinking about this, Yes, I want to play this because
- 18:31Speaker 1: this is that moment where again, this administration doesn't want
- 18:34Speaker 1: to admit this happened. Across the entire government, everyone involved
- 18:39Speaker 1: in the evacuation effort, whether it's at a transit point
- 18:43Speaker 1: in one of the countries that we negotiated with, whether
- 18:46Speaker 1: it's here in the United States at Dulles or Philadelphia
- 18:49Speaker 1: or the military bases, we have all of our officers
- 18:54Speaker 1: at extreme vigilance to look for and to deal with
- 18:59Speaker 1: any cases or concerns that he's the urgent guidance and
- 19:04Speaker 1: how many child hides have you seen? I don't know
- 19:06Speaker 1: the specific guidance are referring to. I'm happy to look
- 19:09Speaker 1: to look at it. So is there not urgency to discover?
- 19:12Speaker 1: It was absolute. We could detect and deal with have
- 19:18Speaker 1: any cases, And there've been, to my knowledge, a limited
- 19:21Speaker 1: number of cases where we have separated people because we
- 19:24Speaker 1: were concerned that they were how they are the cases
- 19:28Speaker 1: I'm aware of a handful. So look you see the
- 19:32Speaker 1: Secretary of State blithely unconcerned a handful. The guidance I
- 19:37Speaker 1: was describing was guidance the Biden administration put out to
- 19:42Speaker 1: personnel on the ground because they were getting planes landing
- 19:45Speaker 1: from Afghanistan with adult men and little girls. The little girls,
- 19:49Speaker 1: they were saying, where their wives and these little girls
- 19:51Speaker 1: were being sexually assaulted and raped by grown men, and
- 19:55Speaker 1: the Biden administration was facilitating child sexual salt and child brides.
- 20:02Speaker 1: This guidance was within the Biden administration. Say wait a second,
- 20:05Speaker 1: we got a problem. We're putting people on planes and
- 20:09Speaker 1: not moms of daughters, dudes with little girls. Yes, that
- 20:13Speaker 1: should be read flag number one. Yes. So at the
- 20:15Speaker 1: hearing he hadn't read the guidance. I had the guidance
- 20:17Speaker 1: in front of me, I'd read it. But beyond that,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I even asked him, how many how many of you
- 20:23Speaker 1: found listen if you're secretary of state and you just
- 20:25Speaker 1: finish human trafficking little girls into the country that are
- 20:29Speaker 1: being sexually assaulted by grown men, and you're responsible, you
- 20:33Speaker 1: know what a competence competent secretary of state would say.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Here's exactly how many we found. Here's what's happened to them.
- 20:41Speaker 1: They're going to jail. Here are the safeguards we're putting
- 20:44Speaker 1: in place to protect against it. But all of this
- 20:47Speaker 1: is intertwined. Look, people ask me, what does Why is
- 20:52Speaker 1: the Biden administration so bad at this stuff? Why are
- 20:55Speaker 1: they so incompetent. Part of the reason they're so bad,
- 20:59Speaker 1: Part of the reason Afghanistan was such a mess is
- 21:04Speaker 1: because they live in an environment where they don't expect
- 21:07Speaker 1: the press to ever ask a hard question. So Tony
- 21:10Speaker 1: Blankett doesn't think anyone's going to ask him about the
- 21:12Speaker 1: child brides that he's responsible for trafficking into him and
- 21:16Speaker 1: he had to worry about a sixteen minutes piece on
- 21:18Speaker 1: it and the disaster of what has happened. They know
- 21:21Speaker 1: they've got him in their back pocket it and it
- 21:24Speaker 1: produces incredibly poor execution. By the way, these are the
- 21:30Speaker 1: same people who you know, were incredibly condescending and arrogant
- 21:34Speaker 1: during the Trump administration, and then when they came in,
- 21:37Speaker 1: one of their favorite lines was the adults are back
- 21:40Speaker 1: in charge. Well, these adults don't know what the hell
- 21:43Speaker 1: they're doing. And as much as John Kirby tells you
- 21:46Speaker 1: there is no chaos, he's proud of what happened. Anyone
- 21:49Speaker 1: who was awake during the disaster of the surrender to
- 21:54Speaker 1: the Taliban and the withdrawing Afghanistan knows what an utter
- 21:58Speaker 1: catastrophe it is. And I gotta say, it's not just
- 22:00Speaker 1: you and me. We've been unloading on the press. But
- 22:03Speaker 1: but but here's a little bit of a man bites dog.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Sometimes even the press can't stand it. Watch this CBS
- 22:10Speaker 1: News calling out John Kirby's garbage. But this is they
- 22:15Speaker 1: called the International Security Advice that takes Sullivan said they
- 22:17Speaker 1: were going to do a hot wash, which is a
- 22:19Speaker 1: fancy bureaucratic turn for a deep dive into what went wrong.
- 22:23Speaker 1: This twelve phaves document is a whitewash. There is. It
- 22:27Speaker 1: is narrative, it is light on specifics, it's devoid of citations,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and it is in essence their version of events. I
- 22:36Speaker 1: gotta say it's almost like he knows so much about
- 22:39Speaker 1: what really happened. And I've that he's insulted personally, like,
- 22:43Speaker 1: how dare you expect me to walk out here and
- 22:45Speaker 1: carry this pail of garbage with me to the American people.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I deserve more respect than that. And I'm glad to
- 22:52Speaker 1: see some journalists actually coming around to this. Look good
- 22:56Speaker 1: for him for being angry, because that was genuine. Yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 1: he was pissed at having read a document that was
- 23:03Speaker 1: utterly divorced from reality, that that was crafted not by
- 23:09Speaker 1: national security experts trying to examine how did we screw
- 23:14Speaker 1: this up? What did we do wrong? Who's at fault?
- 23:17Speaker 1: Why didn't we give the order to take out the
- 23:19Speaker 1: suicide bomber before he murdered thirteen servicemen and women? It's
- 23:23Speaker 1: none of that fat white paper is a pr document.
- 23:27Speaker 1: It is a political spin document. It is talking points
- 23:33Speaker 1: for the obedient mandarins in the press to echo. We
- 23:38Speaker 1: should be proud of the job Joe Biden did in Afghanistan.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It was there was no chaos at all. It was
- 23:44Speaker 1: it was perfect. Yeah, and at least on CBS News.
- 23:49Speaker 1: And I'll say that the anchor who's there when he
- 23:51Speaker 1: says it was a whitewash. She laughs out loud. Yeah
- 23:56Speaker 1: good on CBS News For a moment, journalism erupted. I
- 24:01Speaker 1: hope it's contagious that we actually have others willing to
- 24:04Speaker 1: do their job. I want to get to another issue,
- 24:07Speaker 1: and that's crime in America. There was a very famous
- 24:09Speaker 1: individual who was brutally murdered, stabbed to death in San
- 24:13Speaker 1: Francisco and squeaked the founder of cash app. But first,

- 25:15Speaker 1: Lawrie Lightfoot, for example, lost in Chicago. A lot of
- 25:18Speaker 1: people thought that was kind of the end of the
- 25:19Speaker 1: road for the insanity of not prosecuting criminals, being weak
- 25:25Speaker 1: on crimes, giving this, you know, bail reform and everything
- 25:28Speaker 1: else that's happened. We're seeing some pushback in place like
- 25:30Speaker 1: New York and Baltimore. Then all of a sudden they
- 25:33Speaker 1: elect an actual communist in Chicago, head scratcher there. You'll
- 25:40Speaker 1: look at San Francisco. They've got major problems with crime,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and now you see this brutal stabbing that's so bad
- 25:48Speaker 1: that we can't even show you the video that's come
- 25:50Speaker 1: out here. I just don't think it's appropriate of a
- 25:53Speaker 1: man who has said some things about San Francisco. He
- 25:56Speaker 1: doesn't feel safe there. He'd actually moved, he came back
- 25:59Speaker 1: for a meating. He's in the street, gets gets stabbed
- 26:02Speaker 1: there to death in San Francisco, and yet Democrats are
- 26:08Speaker 1: still standing by these these these initiatives of bail reform,
- 26:12Speaker 1: prison reform and not and not actually getting tough on crime.
- 26:15Speaker 1: More than five hundred police officers are missing in San
- 26:18Speaker 1: Francisco right now, and people there are leaving in droves
- 26:21Speaker 1: and they're sick and tired of living in this insanity. Yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: look what happened here. Bob Lee, who was a was
- 26:29Speaker 1: the founder of cash app. He was a tech gazillionaire,
- 26:33Speaker 1: very wealthy man, very successful man. He had left San Francisco.
- 26:38Speaker 1: He had left San Francisco because of the out of
- 26:41Speaker 1: control crime and he was back in San Francisco for
- 26:44Speaker 1: a work meeting and on the street he was stabbed.
- 26:48Speaker 1: He was stabbed multiple times in the chest on the street.
- 26:54Speaker 1: In he was in San Francisco's Rincon Hill neighborhood, which
- 26:58Speaker 1: is where Nancy Pelosi lives. He was not in the hood, yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 1: he was not. This is where rich people gather and
- 27:07Speaker 1: he stabbed multiple times. They're security security video of it,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and yeah, you and I debated before the show do
- 27:15Speaker 1: we air the security video. We both watched it. We
- 27:19Speaker 1: decided not to air it. Because it's really troubling. It
- 27:23Speaker 1: is footage of this man losing his life. It is
- 27:27Speaker 1: footage of him staggering after he's been stabbed. The footage
- 27:33Speaker 1: shows him trying to flag down passing cars, and passing
- 27:39Speaker 1: cars ignore him, and probably because they're thinking about safe
- 27:42Speaker 1: their own Yeah, yeah, they may be afraid for their
- 27:44Speaker 1: own lives. They see someone staggering towards them. Crime is
- 27:47Speaker 1: so bad, they may they may not want to be
- 27:48Speaker 1: injured themselves, but they drive off. And he staggers to
- 27:53Speaker 1: the window at the front of a building and he collapses,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and he had called nine one one, and the officers arrived,
- 27:59Speaker 1: but by the time they got there, it wasn't in
- 28:02Speaker 1: time to save him. And a kitchen knife with a
- 28:06Speaker 1: four inch blade was found in the parking lot across
- 28:10Speaker 1: the street. But they haven't caught anyone. There haven't been
- 28:12Speaker 1: any arrest so far this year, and we're not very
- 28:15Speaker 1: far into this year. We're in April. They've already been
- 28:19Speaker 1: thirty nine murders in the city. Thirty nine murders already,
- 28:23Speaker 1: and the San Francisco Police Department right now has a
- 28:26Speaker 1: shortage of five hundred and forty one officers totally insane
- 28:32Speaker 1: number when you think about the population, the size of
- 28:34Speaker 1: San Francisco, your five hundred plus officers. Down Look, it
- 28:38Speaker 1: is the policies of the left, attacking and demonizing police officers,
- 28:44Speaker 1: trying to defund police officers, trying to abolish the police,
- 28:48Speaker 1: combined with putting into place George Soros, DA's like Alvin
- 28:53Speaker 1: Bragg in New York, who release violent criminals onto the street,
- 28:58Speaker 1: who don't prosecut cute criminals on the front end, and
- 29:01Speaker 1: when they do get in they let him go. That's
- 29:04Speaker 1: what produces this chaos. You know, I've got a friend
- 29:07Speaker 1: of mine who used to live in Northern California, lived
- 29:10Speaker 1: in Palo Alto. He's been very successful. He's in the
- 29:12Speaker 1: tech business. And he moved from Palo Alto down to Miami.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And he and I had breakfast a while back, and
- 29:22Speaker 1: he was telling me that he said friends of his
- 29:25Speaker 1: from Palo Alto come down to Miami to visit him,
- 29:28Speaker 1: and he'll take him out to dinner. And you know,
- 29:31Speaker 1: he drives a very nice, very fancy sports car. You'd
- 29:34Speaker 1: like his car, and he'll drive out to dinner and
- 29:38Speaker 1: park it on the street. And he said his friends
- 29:41Speaker 1: from Northern California freak out. They're like, what are you doing? Yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 1: And what he said was in northern California, if you
- 29:50Speaker 1: park a car on the street, even in a nice,
- 29:52Speaker 1: nice neighborhood, that car is gonna get broken into, it's
- 29:56Speaker 1: gonna get keyed, it's gonna get stolen, it's gonna get vandalized.
- 30:00Speaker 1: And what an amazing statement that just being able to
- 30:02Speaker 1: park your car. He is considered a flex Like his
- 30:06Speaker 1: friends would freak out, how could you park your car?
- 30:09Speaker 1: And he's like, look, I live in America, like normal
- 30:11Speaker 1: people can park their car and not have to worry.
- 30:16Speaker 1: It is tragic what is happening. And I think a
- 30:20Speaker 1: lot of the residents in these cities believe it can't
- 30:23Speaker 1: get any better. In New York, a lot of the
- 30:27Speaker 1: residents there just just few. That's part of life. Look
- 30:31Speaker 1: in DC that this man Bobbly was stabbed to death,
- 30:35Speaker 1: by the way, at least one of the stories, I
- 30:37Speaker 1: think it was the AP story said tech entrepreneur died
- 30:41Speaker 1: in San Francisco. Died, not murdered, not stabbed to death,
- 30:45Speaker 1: died because the press is not actually reporting the facts
- 30:50Speaker 1: because the facts would not be convenient for their political narrative.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Look last week in DC, a staffer for Rand Paul
- 31:00Speaker 1: was stabbed on the street multiple times. It's like five
- 31:04Speaker 1: o'clock in the afternoon, in a busy DC street. He
- 31:07Speaker 1: gets stabbed. When you have these left wing mayors, district attorneys,
- 31:13Speaker 1: police chiefs, when they undermine the cops and they let
- 31:17Speaker 1: violent criminals go, the results are horrific. And I'll tell
- 31:21Speaker 1: you this is occurring at the same time. So the
- 31:23Speaker 1: US Sentencing Commission has just proposed to allow district judges
- 31:30Speaker 1: broad discretion to grant what's called compassionate release for prisoners
- 31:36Speaker 1: who haven't served their full sentences. Under federal law, when
- 31:40Speaker 1: you're convicted of a federal crime, you get a sentence,
- 31:44Speaker 1: a sentence under what's called the sentencing guidelines that were
- 31:47Speaker 1: passed Congress passed him into law to provide uniformity and
- 31:51Speaker 1: predictability so that people who committed the same crimes would
- 31:54Speaker 1: serve similar sentences. That there wasn't there had been mass
- 32:00Speaker 1: of disparities. If you got lucky and got a soft
- 32:03Speaker 1: on crime judge, they'd let you go. If you got
- 32:06Speaker 1: a really tough on crime judge, they'd lock you up.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So the sentencing Guidelines were passed to give some consistency, uniformity, predictability. Well,
- 32:15Speaker 1: Joe Biden has managed to appoint new people to the
- 32:18Speaker 1: Sentencing Commission, and they just proposed taking the compassionate release provision,
- 32:24Speaker 1: which was designed to be really narrow. Someone has say,
- 32:27Speaker 1: give an example of where that would have been used.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Compassionate release. Someone has cancer and they're about to die
- 32:31Speaker 1: and say, okay, all right, we'll let you go for
- 32:34Speaker 1: the last couple of months of your live life so
- 32:36Speaker 1: you can be outside of prison with your family, with
- 32:39Speaker 1: your family. You know, circumstances that are narrow and exigent.
- 32:44Speaker 1: But under these revisions, it's opening the door. Look, Joe
- 32:49Speaker 1: Biden has been filling the courts with soft on crime,
- 32:54Speaker 1: left wing activists, with criminal defense attorneys, with people who
- 32:58Speaker 1: worked as George Soros district attorneys, with people who have
- 33:04Speaker 1: been advocates of abolishing the police. They're becoming federal judges.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And with this change in the Sentencing Commission, you're going
- 33:13Speaker 1: to see these Biden radicals teaming up with the Obama
- 33:16Speaker 1: radicals that are already on the court releasing more and
- 33:20Speaker 1: more violent criminals. And I gotta say, Ben, look, in
- 33:23Speaker 1: the normal world of political back and forth. There are
- 33:27Speaker 1: things conservatives and liberals can disagree on, all right, high taxes,
- 33:32Speaker 1: low taxes. You and I both like low taxes. I
- 33:34Speaker 1: understand people that like higher taxes, like reasonable people can
- 33:37Speaker 1: disagree on that. You know, question like abortion. Abortion is
- 33:41Speaker 1: a difficult issue. I'm pro life, your pro life, but
- 33:44Speaker 1: but there are many people who are genuinely and passionately
- 33:49Speaker 1: pro choice, and reasonable people can can wrestle with that issue.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I genuinely don't understand these leftists that see a murderer
- 34:00Speaker 1: and think the answer here has let the murderer go.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I don't get the reasoning. I don't know how to
- 34:07Speaker 1: articulate the argument how society is better, how anyone is
- 34:11Speaker 1: better off letting violent criminals go out on the streets.
- 34:15Speaker 1: And yet that's what these radicals are doing, and it's
- 34:19Speaker 1: what the Biden administration keeps leaning in further and further
- 34:22Speaker 1: on last question on this, and I think that the
- 34:25Speaker 1: shock for me seems to be how many cities are
- 34:28Speaker 1: dealing with violent, high crime numbers, and yet when their
- 34:31Speaker 1: elections come up and they have a chance to change course,
- 34:34Speaker 1: they don't do it. I mentioned Chicago earlier. My hometown
- 34:38Speaker 1: of Memphis Tennessee out of control violent crime right now,
- 34:42Speaker 1: carjackings through the roof, rape through the roof, forty five
- 34:47Speaker 1: cars are still in every twenty four hours right now
- 34:49Speaker 1: in my home town. And this has become an actress
- 34:51Speaker 1: DA that came in YEP and has said we're gonna
- 34:54Speaker 1: let them all go all the time. They have prison reform,
- 34:57Speaker 1: bail reform. They had a guy that was accused murder
- 35:00Speaker 1: the other day that got out on no bail because
- 35:01Speaker 1: they was poor. Yeah, and you see this and you think,
- 35:04Speaker 1: all right, well, surely that at some point they're gonna
- 35:07Speaker 1: be voted out. And then you see Chicago, they get
- 35:09Speaker 1: rid of Lightfoot, they put in someone that is even
- 35:11Speaker 1: more radical. Why is that happening? And are we gonna
- 35:14Speaker 1: just lose these cities forever? Because people that have the
- 35:17Speaker 1: means to get out, this is my theory, are getting
- 35:20Speaker 1: out as fast as they can, regardless of the Republican
- 35:22Speaker 1: or Democrat. If you're saying and you have the means,
- 35:25Speaker 1: you run as fast as you can for safety for you,
- 35:28Speaker 1: your kids, your grandkids, and then they are just activists
- 35:32Speaker 1: left they get decide how this is going to go
- 35:34Speaker 1: for the rest of their lives with all this chaos. Look,
- 35:37Speaker 1: if you want to understand the pattern of the lawless left,
- 35:41Speaker 1: if you want to understand the George Soros prosecutors. And
- 35:44Speaker 1: by the way, let me say something Folks online say
- 35:47Speaker 1: when you refer to a George Soros prosecutor that you're
- 35:49Speaker 1: an anti Semitic because George Soros is Jewish? How dare
- 35:53Speaker 1: you blame him? Look, there's nothing to do with the
- 35:57Speaker 1: fact that he's Jewish. What it has to do with
- 35:58Speaker 1: is he spends hens of millions of dollars electing district
- 36:04Speaker 1: attorneys who come into office promising to let violent criminals go.
- 36:08Speaker 1: And part of the way the Marxists operate is when
- 36:12Speaker 1: you point out what they're doing, they scream racist at
- 36:16Speaker 1: you for daring to point out what he's doing. I
- 36:19Speaker 1: don't know if we had George Soros as a guest
- 36:21Speaker 1: on this show, I don't know how he would defend that.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I legitimately do not understand what his reasoning is. That
- 36:29Speaker 1: he thinks the world would be better if we let
- 36:34Speaker 1: murderers and rapists go to commit more murders and more rapes.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I don't My mind doesn't comprehend that logic. If you
- 36:42Speaker 1: want to know more though you ought to buy my
- 36:44Speaker 1: latest book, Justice Corrupted. Justice Corrupted explains in length. There's
- 36:49Speaker 1: an entire chapter on the George Soros DA's there's an
- 36:52Speaker 1: entire chapter on the Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots
- 36:55Speaker 1: and how this is deliberate, how it's systematic, and it
- 36:59Speaker 1: lays out the fact it's it's not hyperbole, it's not rhetoric,
- 37:03Speaker 1: it's not invective. Justice Corrupted lays out the facts. Alvin Bragg,
- 37:07Speaker 1: before Alvin Bragg was a household name, he was in
- 37:10Speaker 1: your book. He is in the book Justice Corrupted, because
- 37:14Speaker 1: that's who he is. It's what he promised to do
- 37:17Speaker 1: to weaponize the legal system. Going after Donald Trump is
- 37:21Speaker 1: entirely consistent. There's an entire chapter in Justice Corrupted about
- 37:25Speaker 1: the deep state being weaponized to go after Donald Trump.
- 37:29Speaker 1: And so this is a consistent pattern. And I got
- 37:33Speaker 1: to say, in Chicago, you're right, Lorie Lightfoot number one
- 37:36Speaker 1: presided over out of control crime and shootings and horrific misery.
- 37:44Speaker 1: She was also I think, incompetent at it, and so
- 37:47Speaker 1: the voters voted her out, and for a moment you thought, wow,
- 37:50Speaker 1: maybe there'll be a moment of Chicago a people saying, gosh,
- 37:53Speaker 1: I'd like to live in a safer city. And then
- 37:55Speaker 1: they elected someone who's a left wing radical who has
- 38:00Speaker 1: spent years advocating for defunding and abolishing the police. And
- 38:05Speaker 1: I don't know if he's more competent or not than
- 38:08Speaker 1: Lorie Lightfoot, but everything he said up to this point
- 38:14Speaker 1: is that he is going to hurt the police more,
- 38:18Speaker 1: weaken the police more, and empower the criminals more. And
- 38:24Speaker 1: when you elect radical democrats like this, people die, you know,
- 38:29Speaker 1: the left, people flee the city, and then there's even
- 38:34Speaker 1: more carnage. That the left is fond of the slogan
- 38:36Speaker 1: black lives matter, they don't actually believe it, because the
- 38:41Speaker 1: consequence of electing left wing radicals who undermine law enforcement
- 38:47Speaker 1: is that more black lives are lost. There will be
- 38:50Speaker 1: African American children, there will be women, there will be
- 38:53Speaker 1: men murdered in Chicago because of the consistent assault of
- 38:59Speaker 1: left wing down Democrats on police officers. And I gotta
- 39:02Speaker 1: tell you, as I travel around, You've flown around the
- 39:04Speaker 1: country with me quite a bit. Yeah, Inevitably, when I
- 39:07Speaker 1: see police officers, I make a point of stopping, of
- 39:10Speaker 1: shaking their hands, of saying thank you, thank you for
- 39:13Speaker 1: what you're doing. And I tell them, I say, look,
- 39:15Speaker 1: a big part of my job is to have your back.
- 39:18Speaker 1: And I talked to cops all over the country. I
- 39:21Speaker 1: gotta tell you. The most striking place to fly into
- 39:23Speaker 1: a Chicago. I land at Chicago O'Hare Airport. I am
- 39:28Speaker 1: with some regularity met by ten, twelve, fifteen uniformed police
- 39:34Speaker 1: officers who come, They shake my hand, they give me patches.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I've gotten my office patches of the Chicago PD that
- 39:44Speaker 1: are displayed in my office because those cops are so
- 39:47Speaker 1: under assault. Joe Biden dirt with the COVID vaccine mandates,
- 39:52Speaker 1: was saying, fire half the police in Chicago if they
- 39:56Speaker 1: won't get COVID vaccines. The left assault on cops and
- 40:01Speaker 1: law enforcement is dangerous. And you want to know why
- 40:05Speaker 1: people are stabbed in the streets of San Francisco or Washington, DC.
- 40:10Speaker 1: It is because of these policies. They have a very
- 40:13Speaker 1: real and a tragic consequence. I want to get to
- 40:15Speaker 1: one other subject that's really kind of exploding in this country,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and it's women's sports. How do you protect them? Men
- 40:22Speaker 1: masqueradience women also as trans men in women's sports. Before
- 40:26Speaker 1: we get to that. Let me tell you about our
- 40:27Speaker 1: friends over at Patriot Mobile. If you've got a cell
- 40:29Speaker 1: phone and your cell phone is with big Tech, Big Mobile,
- 40:34Speaker 1: there's a very good chance you may be paying your

- 40:39Speaker 1: your values. That's where Patriot Mobile comes out. Now. I
- 40:42Speaker 1: have been using Patriot Mobile for years and they're the

- 40:49Speaker 1: why does that matter? Well, when you pay your bill
- 40:52Speaker 1: every month at no extra cost to you, they take
- 40:55Speaker 1: a percentage of that bill and they give it back
- 40:58Speaker 1: to conservative causes zations that are fighting for First or
- 41:01Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, rights of unborn children, even helping with
- 41:05Speaker 1: adoptions in this country. I love paying my bill to
- 41:08Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile because I know I'm making a difference with
- 41:11Speaker 1: a bill I was gonna pay somewhere anyway. If you're

- 41:37Speaker 1: they can help you with all those lines getting switched
- 41:39Speaker 1: over eight seven eight Patriot Center. Lastly, we have seen
- 41:43Speaker 1: a lot of arguing and fighting in this country and
- 41:47Speaker 1: over men and women's sports. We saw in Australia last
- 41:52Speaker 1: week outrage at a man who won a woman's golf
- 41:56Speaker 1: tournament made big bucks doing it. We see Kyle is
- 42:00Speaker 1: now with these grand debates over men being in women's sports.
- 42:04Speaker 1: And then there was a confusing I say confusing because
- 42:06Speaker 1: the headline doesn't really match the facts here ruling from
- 42:10Speaker 1: the from the Supreme Court on this issue with women
- 42:13Speaker 1: and men's sports and men playing as women. Break this
- 42:16Speaker 1: down what the Supreme Court actually said this past week. Well,
- 42:20Speaker 1: let's start with the Supreme Court and then we'll talk
- 42:22Speaker 1: about the broader issue. So the Supreme Court had before
- 42:24Speaker 1: it a case that came out of West Virginia. West
- 42:27Speaker 1: Virginia passed a law that protects girls sports and women's sports,
- 42:32Speaker 1: and that says that biological males, people who were born male,
- 42:37Speaker 1: can't compete in girls sports. That's a law. It's a
- 42:40Speaker 1: similar law that's been passed in many states across the
- 42:43Speaker 1: country to protect girls athletics. In this instance, uh there
- 42:48Speaker 1: was the family of a twelve year old child who
- 42:52Speaker 1: was born biologically male, but who now identifies as a
- 42:55Speaker 1: girl and wants to compete in girls sports. That that
- 42:58Speaker 1: family filed a lawsuit arguing that the law West Virginia
- 43:03Speaker 1: passed conflicts with either Title nine of federal law, which
- 43:09Speaker 1: establishes and protects girls sports, or conflicts with the Equal
- 43:14Speaker 1: Protection Clause of the US Constitution. Now the cases in
- 43:19Speaker 1: the fairly early stages. The district court, a federal district court,
- 43:24Speaker 1: initially enjoined the laws enforcement, and did so in July
- 43:27Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one. So to enjoy the laws enforcement
- 43:31Speaker 1: means the district court issued in order this West Virginia
- 43:34Speaker 1: law has no force. In effect, that injunction was in
- 43:38Speaker 1: effect for almost eighteen months, almost a year and a half.
- 43:42Speaker 1: The state didn't fight the injunction, so they let the
- 43:46Speaker 1: law be enjoyed. They didn't fight it any further. While
- 43:50Speaker 1: the injunction was in effect, they were in the district
- 43:53Speaker 1: court they were battling over the lawsuit. The district court
- 43:57Speaker 1: ultimately ruled for the state of West Virginia. So eject
- 44:00Speaker 1: did the plaintiff's claim that the West Virginia law was
- 44:04Speaker 1: unconstitutional or contrary to federal law. And it's interesting the
- 44:07Speaker 1: judge clearly didn't like ruling that way. The judge wrote that,
- 44:11Speaker 1: you know, even if you don't like this law, it's
- 44:14Speaker 1: clear under federal law and the Constitution that you can
- 44:17Speaker 1: separate boys sports from girls sports and there's not a
- 44:20Speaker 1: legal impediment of doing so. So the District Court rules
- 44:24Speaker 1: for the State of West Virginia, the plaintiff appeals, and
- 44:28Speaker 1: the Fourth Circuit, the Court of Appeals entered a new
- 44:31Speaker 1: injunction in joining the law while the appeal was pending.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Court of Appeals didn't issue an opinion, just entered an
- 44:40Speaker 1: injunction while the appeal was pending. This is the appeal
- 44:43Speaker 1: of that emergency injunction. So what happened is the State
- 44:47Speaker 1: of West Virginia went up to the Supreme Court and said,
- 44:50Speaker 1: will you reverse the injunction that the Court of Appeals
- 44:55Speaker 1: put in place. The Supreme Court said no. The full
- 45:00Speaker 1: Supreme Court didn't issue an opinions. There's no opinion at all.
- 45:02Speaker 1: They just denied the application. Two justices Justice Alido joined
- 45:09Speaker 1: by Justice Thomas dissent it now. Justice Alido's descent is
- 45:14Speaker 1: very short. It's two pages long. I have it right here.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Justice Alido walks through the facts of what I just described,
- 45:22Speaker 1: the procedural history of the case. Justice Alido and Justice
- 45:25Speaker 1: Thomas say I would grant the state's application, but even
- 45:32Speaker 1: Justice Alito and Justice Thomas acknowledge. And I'll read from
- 45:35Speaker 1: this dissent quote. It is true that West Virginia allowed
- 45:38Speaker 1: the District Court's injunction to go unchallenged for nearly eighteen
- 45:43Speaker 1: months before seeking emergency relief from a second identical injunction.
- 45:49Speaker 1: And it is a wise rule in general that a
- 45:53Speaker 1: litigant whose claim of urgency is belied by his own
- 45:58Speaker 1: conduct should not expect discretionary emergency relief from a court.
- 46:04Speaker 1: In other words, a big part of the reason that
- 46:08Speaker 1: the Supreme Court did not vacate this injunction is because
- 46:12Speaker 1: West Virginia essentially acquiesced to it for a year and
- 46:15Speaker 1: a half did nothing for eighteen months. And emergency relief,
- 46:21Speaker 1: either granting an injunction or vacating an injunction, is exceptional relief.
- 46:26Speaker 1: It's provided because it's an emergency, and eighteen months later
- 46:29Speaker 1: is not an emergency anymore. It is very hard to
- 46:31Speaker 1: say it's an emergency when you didn't do anything for
- 46:33Speaker 1: eighteen months. And so there's been lots of headlines saying, oh,
- 46:38Speaker 1: the Supreme Court said that biological males can compete in
- 46:42Speaker 1: girls sports, and they didn't say they didn't address the merits.
- 46:47Speaker 1: They might at some point, and I hope that they
- 46:50Speaker 1: I hope that they rule in a way that protects
- 46:53Speaker 1: girls sports and follows the law. But in this instance,
- 46:57Speaker 1: I think this was a procedural ruling. I wish they'd
- 47:01Speaker 1: vacated the injunction and what reverencing. It's just two pages
- 47:04Speaker 1: long that the opinion there tells you it is more
- 47:07Speaker 1: of a procedural thing, not a policy. And even Justice
- 47:10Speaker 1: Alito and Justice Thomas are acknowledging, hey, wait, there's a
- 47:14Speaker 1: real problem here, because they sat and neck we asked,
- 47:18Speaker 1: but they went on and said, well, even so, it's
- 47:20Speaker 1: a state law and the Court of Appeals didn't write
- 47:23Speaker 1: an opinion and we shouldn't enjoin it with no explanation whatsoever.
- 47:27Speaker 1: So look, that has some force. But I wouldn't read
- 47:32Speaker 1: this Supreme Court decision as foreshadowing that the Supreme Court
- 47:36Speaker 1: seven two is going to rule that that biological males
- 47:40Speaker 1: have a right to compete in girls' sports. I don't
- 47:43Speaker 1: think they're going to and I don't think that's what
- 47:46Speaker 1: this case means. One other thing that happened this week
- 47:49Speaker 1: is there's a swimmer, Riley Gaines, who's become very famous
- 47:53Speaker 1: and a lot of support from Conservatives and Christians because
- 47:56Speaker 1: she came out. Was one of the very first and
- 47:58Speaker 1: women swimming to come out and say it is unfair
- 48:01Speaker 1: you're asking me who I'm one of the best swimmers
- 48:04Speaker 1: in women's sports, if not the best in certain aspects
- 48:08Speaker 1: of women swimming to compete with biological men. When she
- 48:14Speaker 1: did this, the world, of course erupted. The Left went
- 48:17Speaker 1: after to attack her. She's now doing events at campuses.
- 48:21Speaker 1: You and I talked about this before the show. She
- 48:24Speaker 1: was going to be doing an event at Sancis in
- 48:26Speaker 1: San Francisco to university there. That event didn't get to
- 48:29Speaker 1: happen because the Left started to attack her physically. A
- 48:34Speaker 1: man hit her apparently twice. Police had to barricade her
- 48:39Speaker 1: in a room as they basically rushed her from the stage.
- 48:43Speaker 1: She was held in that room, barricaded with the cops
- 48:45Speaker 1: for about an hour, and the student body that was
- 48:49Speaker 1: coming after her said some of the most horrific things
- 48:53Speaker 1: to her as a woman. And if we wanted to
- 48:55Speaker 1: bleep it all out, you wouldn't hear anything but a big,
- 48:58Speaker 1: long bleep. We decided we're gonna let you see this.
- 49:02Speaker 1: I wanted to warn and you wanted to as well.
- 49:03Speaker 1: If you have kids listening, kids watching, they don't need
- 49:06Speaker 1: to see this. But I do think that parents and
- 49:10Speaker 1: grandparents you'd understand. This has become what's normal on college
- 49:14Speaker 1: campuses if you are a conservative speaker or even a
- 49:18Speaker 1: conservative student, or someone standing up for yourselves as an
- 49:22Speaker 1: athlete saying I shouldn't have to compete with men when
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'm a woman. So look, that's exactly right. And I'll
- 49:27Speaker 1: say a couple of things. Number one, Riley Gaines was
- 49:30Speaker 1: a very successful female swimmer competing competing against, among others,
- 49:35Speaker 1: Leah Thomas. Leah Thomas born a biological male, Leah Thomas
- 49:41Speaker 1: decided that he was a she, that that that he
- 49:46Speaker 1: was a woman, more than halfway through college competing as
- 49:48Speaker 1: a man as a male swimmer, and as a male
- 49:50Speaker 1: swimmer was thoroughly mediocre, was not winning winning meets regularly,
- 49:55Speaker 1: and once Leah became Leah the Woman, Leah Thomas won
- 50:01Speaker 1: the NCUBLE A National championship in swimming. Now, there are
- 50:07Speaker 1: biological differences between men and women, their biological differences and
- 50:11Speaker 1: strength in body mass. Um, there's a reason why this
- 50:15Speaker 1: c These controversies only emerge one way. Um. You know
- 50:21Speaker 1: what if if a biological woman wants to compete against men,
- 50:26Speaker 1: nobody would care. If someone from the w NBA wants
- 50:29Speaker 1: to compete in the NBA, great, that'd be amazing to watch.
- 50:32Speaker 1: There's a reason we have a w NBA because there
- 50:36Speaker 1: is no woman on the face of the planet who
- 50:38Speaker 1: can stop Lebron James there on the planet. But there
- 50:42Speaker 1: is a reason there are real and material differences between
- 50:46Speaker 1: the genders. And so Riley Gaines was on campus and
- 50:50Speaker 1: and and she's at at San Francisco State University, and
- 50:55Speaker 1: she's there to speak and and and there's a violent protest,
- 50:58Speaker 1: and she says that she was physically hit twice by
- 51:04Speaker 1: a biological man who now claims he's a woman. So
- 51:07Speaker 1: you have a man physically assaulting, beating a woman because
- 51:12Speaker 1: she dares to say, it's unfair to girls. It's unfair
- 51:16Speaker 1: to women to force them to compete against people who
- 51:20Speaker 1: are biological males. And this video is right after she
- 51:22Speaker 1: was assaulted. This video is her being pulled out of
- 51:27Speaker 1: the room by the police officers. This video is heard
- 51:29Speaker 1: being chased by the activists. And I want to underscore
- 51:32Speaker 1: for our listeners. You know, Ben and I we actually
- 51:34Speaker 1: debated whether or not to air this. The profanity and
- 51:38Speaker 1: this is bad. Every other word is an expletive. And look,
- 51:43Speaker 1: we try to make this podcast a family podcast that
- 51:46Speaker 1: is suitable for listeners of all ages. If we tried
- 51:50Speaker 1: to bleep out the profanities, it would be you couldn't
- 51:54Speaker 1: hear anything that would be saying. But I actually think
- 51:57Speaker 1: it's important. Look, if you have kids, and it's not
- 51:59Speaker 1: approp for the kids to hear, shut off the broadcast
- 52:03Speaker 1: at this point. But I think it's important for people
- 52:07Speaker 1: to hear this one. And actually for this episode, if
- 52:10Speaker 1: you're listening, this is a particularly good episode to go
- 52:14Speaker 1: on YouTube. This is one of the three we do
- 52:16Speaker 1: each week that's on video. You're going to hear it.
- 52:20Speaker 1: But I need to see the anger in the faces
- 52:23Speaker 1: of the intolerant left, and this is now normal on
- 52:26Speaker 1: college campus. It is. It is so much worse and
- 52:29Speaker 1: so much more powerful to see it. So I'd encourage
- 52:32Speaker 1: you for this one. Go on to YouTube. While you're there,
- 52:34Speaker 1: subscribe on YouTube, but play this portion in particular, because
- 52:39Speaker 1: if you see it, this is where your kids are
- 52:42Speaker 1: going to go to school or are going to school.
- 52:44Speaker 1: This is where your grandkids are going to go to
- 52:46Speaker 1: school or are going to school. And you want to
- 52:49Speaker 1: understand the radical, angry, violent left. What happened to Riley
- 52:56Speaker 1: Gaines illustrates it perfectly. Let's let's play it right. Yeah,
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm I'm gonna, I'm coming. I'm good and good, trusting,
- 53:22Speaker 1: I'm good. Ahead of right, drive right right, you'll try it.
- 53:36Speaker 1: You're fucking right, bitch, fucking that you drap right eye
- 53:45Speaker 1: of the rights right through. Fie bit fie bits, you're
- 53:56Speaker 1: dressing the car in a circle. You're gonna, God help us.
- 54:27Speaker 1: I don't know how the university can watch that and
- 54:29Speaker 1: not hold some of those students accountable, and I doubt
- 54:31Speaker 1: they will look for all we know, there were administrators there.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I mean, this podcast talked about Stanford Law School and
- 54:40Speaker 1: how you had an administrator siding with the mobs screaming
- 54:43Speaker 1: expletives at a sitting Federal Court of Appeals judge. And
- 54:47Speaker 1: mind you, these are students studying to be lawyers who
- 54:50Speaker 1: don't know actually how to deal with a judge without
- 54:52Speaker 1: screaming and cursing at them. Look, those students, presumably either
- 54:59Speaker 1: they or the her parents are paying the university to
- 55:04Speaker 1: teach their kids to get an education. This is what
- 55:07Speaker 1: they're being taught. You know, when I watch that video,
- 55:10Speaker 1: it's why I encourage people to watch the YouTube of this.
- 55:14Speaker 1: When I watch the video, the hate in the eyes
- 55:19Speaker 1: of those children, it's hate. Yeah, it's indoctrinated. It is rage.
- 55:25Speaker 1: One of the most disturbing moments is a young woman
- 55:29Speaker 1: who screams at Riley Gaines. You crying. So she's just
- 55:35Speaker 1: been physically assaulted. I don't know if she was injured.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I hope she was not. But the mob, the bloodlust. Look,
- 55:43Speaker 1: there's a reason in San Francisco the police officers take
- 55:46Speaker 1: her out. Those officers are moving with dispatch because they're
- 55:51Speaker 1: concerned for her safety. They're concerned that that mob. If
- 55:55Speaker 1: they don't get her out, she didn't have a chance
- 55:57Speaker 1: to speak. But if they don't get her out, they're concerned.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Learned that that mob will continue to physically assault her
- 56:03Speaker 1: and seriously injure her. Now, it says something about the
- 56:06Speaker 1: university that they don't protect the safety of a speaker,
- 56:11Speaker 1: that they don't stop the violent mob, that they don't
- 56:15Speaker 1: discipline the students, that they don't arrest people engage in violence.
- 56:22Speaker 1: The university in all likelihood condones this activity. You know.
- 56:27Speaker 1: A week ago, Tucker Carlson had a monologue where he
- 56:32Speaker 1: talked about in the wake of the horrific shooting in Nashville.
- 56:37Speaker 1: He talked about the rage of many of the radical
- 56:41Speaker 1: activists in the transgender community, the rage that they have
- 56:47Speaker 1: to Christians and people of faith, and that part of
- 56:53Speaker 1: the essence of faith and Christianity in particular is recognizing
- 56:59Speaker 1: that that man is a fallen creature and that we
- 57:04Speaker 1: need God's grace, and that God is sovereign, not us.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It's not my will, but it's a higher will. And
- 57:12Speaker 1: one of the points Tucker made is the essence of
- 57:20Speaker 1: the radical activists proposition is whatever I believe is the
- 57:26Speaker 1: truth that that I am God, I can decide, and
- 57:33Speaker 1: and it is you know, I just saw this week
- 57:38Speaker 1: a movie premiere for the movie Nefarius. Now Nefarius is
- 57:43Speaker 1: coming out coming out next week. Um Nefarius was written
- 57:47Speaker 1: by my good friend Steve Days, and it's a terrific movie.
- 57:51Speaker 1: And the premiere was in Dallas, um And and it's
- 57:55Speaker 1: about a murderer on death row who's getting ready to
- 57:59Speaker 1: be excuted and a psychiatrist comes in to interview the
- 58:05Speaker 1: murderer to determine whether the murderer is sane, whether he
- 58:09Speaker 1: is competent to be executed, and the murderer believes that
- 58:13Speaker 1: he is possessed by a demon. And so the entire
- 58:17Speaker 1: movie is back and forth between the psychiatrist and the
- 58:21Speaker 1: murderer and the demon. And it's it is a Christian movie,
- 58:27Speaker 1: but it's not a Christian movie in the sense that
- 58:30Speaker 1: it beats you over the head with a sermon. It's
- 58:32Speaker 1: actually it's a it's a thriller. It's it's a horror
- 58:34Speaker 1: film and it's powerful. It's very well done. Unfortunately, some
- 58:41Speaker 1: Christian movies are not very good. Yeah, this is a
- 58:44Speaker 1: good movie and with an amazing performance. Actually, both of
- 58:48Speaker 1: the two lead actors are really really good. But one
- 58:52Speaker 1: of the exchanges of the demon where he says, look,
- 58:57Speaker 1: what did Lucifer say? Lucifer said, I am God, do
- 59:02Speaker 1: what thou wilt. That that's the essence of rebellion to
- 59:07Speaker 1: God is do what thou wilt. I thought Tucker's monologue.
- 59:14Speaker 1: I actually texted him that night and I said, listen,
- 59:17Speaker 1: what you said tonight was really powerful and in today's
- 59:22Speaker 1: environment was courageous because that kind of angry mob is
- 59:27Speaker 1: becoming the norm. Look, I'm an optimist. I believe in
- 59:32Speaker 1: our country, but when I see things like that, I
- 59:35Speaker 1: fear for a country. We've got to rediscover sanity and
- 59:42Speaker 1: we've got to learn to talk to each other. We've
- 59:44Speaker 1: got to do something about this rage, this rage and
- 59:50Speaker 1: hatred that divides this country apart. This is what our
- 59:54Speaker 1: kids are being taught on campuses. This is what the
- 59:57Speaker 1: Marxist who our professors, the Marxist who are administrate, are
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: teaching our children. And if we don't teach them a
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: better path, we're in serious trouble. Yeah, Center, always a
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: pleasure to chat with you, my friend. Don't forget. If
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: you're getting to watch this on Facebook or on YouTube,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: make sure you download our audio version. We do this
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: show three days a week. There are two others that
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: are just audio only. If you're just listening today, Go
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: back and watch that last segment on YouTube or on Facebook.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: It'll be there. You can see this interaction with Riley Gaines,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: and we will see you guys back here in a
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: couple of days
