- 2:34Speaker 1: everybody you are listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:38Speaker 1: me now one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, okay,
- 2:45Speaker 1: here we go. You know what's important. What's what can
- 2:51Speaker 1: be a huge part of your success is if you
- 2:55Speaker 1: if you find a balance, if you find a balance
- 3:00Speaker 1: months in your life. That's that's been very important. For me,
- 3:04Speaker 1: And I've really never phrased it this way until now,
- 3:08Speaker 1: but I was kind of thinking about it after my
- 3:10Speaker 1: wife and I mean we set up one night recently
- 3:13Speaker 1: man for hours. When I tell you, we talked for hours. Now,
- 3:18Speaker 1: listen this. The conversation started as an argument. Well, it
- 3:23Speaker 1: started as a conversation that turned into an argument that
- 3:27Speaker 1: turned into a therapeutic conversation. You know, we just had
- 3:31Speaker 1: one of them, and and it was ours. But but
- 3:34Speaker 1: my wife and I we have a very unique way. Uh.
- 3:38Speaker 1: If one of us starts to raise our voice, the
- 3:41Speaker 1: other one just says, hey, okay, now we're not gonna
- 3:45Speaker 1: accomplish anything like that, so so we go okay, okay.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Then that's usually me, because you know, I'm a man.
- 3:52Speaker 1: The one anger that we that we gravitate too quickly
- 3:56Speaker 1: more than the other ones. Instead of they're loving care
- 4:00Speaker 1: and sharing angle. We can we see see me and
- 4:02Speaker 1: know how to deal with anger really well because we
- 4:05Speaker 1: know what it means. I'm mad now that what I am.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Out of all of that, what I what I really
- 4:10Speaker 1: learned was you gotta find a balance in your life.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You know, I often come on here and this is
- 4:16Speaker 1: kind of an inspirational moment of the show. And I
- 4:19Speaker 1: try to remind people about that most important relationship between
- 4:23Speaker 1: you and God. And that's that's the apex of it.
- 4:27Speaker 1: That's that's the that's the top of the crown. You
- 4:30Speaker 1: got to form the relationship with God. If you don't,
- 4:32Speaker 1: everything else struggles. It's hard to be a good husband
- 4:36Speaker 1: without God. It's hard to be a good family man
- 4:38Speaker 1: without God. It's hard to be successful without God. Man,
- 4:41Speaker 1: it's hard to be hard to get through this thing
- 4:43Speaker 1: called life without God. So that's clear. But at the
- 4:48Speaker 1: same time, you can't talk about God. Two seven. You
- 4:53Speaker 1: got to go to work. Come on, man, let's just
- 4:55Speaker 1: be real. I ain't going I ain't your past, and
- 4:56Speaker 1: I ain't at your church. But let's just be real
- 4:59Speaker 1: about it. You know, people tell you gotta keep your
- 5:02Speaker 1: mind stayed on Him and all like that. That's that's
- 5:04Speaker 1: a true statement. You gotta keep your mind stayed in
- 5:07Speaker 1: that area. I don't not here to tell you how
- 5:09Speaker 1: to live, but you gotta keep your mind stayed in
- 5:11Speaker 1: that area of God, of doing the right thing, caring
- 5:13Speaker 1: about people. That's what I took it as. Now I
- 5:16Speaker 1: could be wrong. I apologize if I'm not saying it
- 5:19Speaker 1: the way you've been taught. I can only do me now.
- 5:22Speaker 1: But after that, you got to go to work. You
- 5:25Speaker 1: gotta have some fun. You gotta take care of your business.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And that's the balance you have to find. So it
- 5:34Speaker 1: once you focus on shooting up your relationship with God,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta balance this now. Now, you got
- 5:43Speaker 1: to allocate some time. I don't care who you are,
- 5:45Speaker 1: for your family. If you're gonna have a family, you
- 5:49Speaker 1: got to allocate some time for him. See, we can't
- 5:52Speaker 1: just marry these women or make these kids and then
- 5:56Speaker 1: neglect them. And fellas, especially if I'm talking to me
- 6:00Speaker 1: and out him with ladies you can listen to. But listen.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you find yourself struggling in your life, man, and
- 6:05Speaker 1: you can't seem to get it together, let's just go
- 6:08Speaker 1: over a couple of things. The first two things, if
- 6:11Speaker 1: you find yourself struggling, you can't seem to pull it
- 6:13Speaker 1: together and reach your goals and get to where you
- 6:15Speaker 1: want to go. Let's let's just do a check how
- 6:20Speaker 1: is your relationship with God? And then next how much
- 6:25Speaker 1: time are you taking to allocate for your family? Now,
- 6:30Speaker 1: your family don't always live in your house. But if
- 6:33Speaker 1: you made them, they yours and the responsibility to them
- 6:38Speaker 1: is never lessen because you don't stay that no more
- 6:40Speaker 1: because you and the girl broke up, You and the
- 6:43Speaker 1: woman don't speak that a man that don't ever release
- 6:46Speaker 1: you from the obligation. Feel me when I'm telling you
- 6:49Speaker 1: this now, because I'm not telling you something I'm wondering about.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I've had to live through them years. So two things
- 6:57Speaker 1: you can start looking at. If you're not where you
- 6:59Speaker 1: want to be, and you ain't, you ain't really solid.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You can't figure out why you keep spending your wheels.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Have you just done a random inventory? Man? Have you
- 7:06Speaker 1: just checked on your relationship with God? Have you checked
- 7:09Speaker 1: on the time you're spending dedicated towards your family, your
- 7:13Speaker 1: children that you've created? If them two things is out
- 7:16Speaker 1: of saint man, that I can tell you right now,
- 7:19Speaker 1: you can go on and get to explain in yourself
- 7:21Speaker 1: away just like that. Hey man, how come you ain't
- 7:24Speaker 1: where you want to be? Comes? Man? I really ain't. Well,
- 7:27Speaker 1: if you really ain't, then you really ain't. The third
- 7:30Speaker 1: thing is you got to allocate the necessary time for
- 7:34Speaker 1: your business. You got to handle your business. All of this,
- 7:40Speaker 1: man is the way it works and the order. The
- 7:47Speaker 1: order is God first, family second. Then you got to
- 7:54Speaker 1: handle all your business. But as me and this is
- 7:56Speaker 1: what we do. If I don't handle my bis this,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I can't take care of my family, true statement. But
- 8:04Speaker 1: if your business is in front of your family, you
- 8:06Speaker 1: out of order. Nah, that's all we're talking about. Nine it. See,
- 8:10Speaker 1: that's that's all we really saying here now, fellas you know,
- 8:13Speaker 1: you know, I mean, I mean, come on, man, you know,
- 8:15Speaker 1: let's let's have a real conversation about being better. You know,
- 8:19Speaker 1: if you have created these children, you gotta handle your business.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You may not like the girl no more. You and
- 8:25Speaker 1: the woman might have broken up, y'all might go your
- 8:27Speaker 1: own way, But what that got to do with the
- 8:28Speaker 1: child though? Man, you got to handle your business. They
- 8:31Speaker 1: got to know who daddy is. That's your obligation. Man.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And God ain't letting you off the hook for that.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Try go ahead and try and and thank you. Gonna
- 8:40Speaker 1: get off the hook with that because you're not man,
- 8:42Speaker 1: You just not. I'm sorry, man, dog Steve, why are
- 8:48Speaker 1: you coming like that? Because I did it like that?
- 8:51Speaker 1: I did it, man, I was over here trying to
- 8:53Speaker 1: reshape my life get myself up on my feet when
- 8:56Speaker 1: I was homeless man and trying to come back. Man,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I thought I had to take care of me first
- 9:00Speaker 1: and there so I can neglect it. Cared about them kids. Man,
- 9:04Speaker 1: that ain't high work. Man. God keep his knee on
- 9:06Speaker 1: my neck for a long time for that one right there,
- 9:08Speaker 1: until I finally learned the lesson. Hold up, man, put
- 9:13Speaker 1: these phone calls in, Go spend some time, do something,
- 9:16Speaker 1: and and it started turning around for me. You know,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I can't be there all the time because I am
- 9:21Speaker 1: out here on the ground in the hustle. But at
- 9:23Speaker 1: the same time, Man, some more phone calls, some more letters,
- 9:27Speaker 1: some mo haw hah hee. He's something. Then take care
- 9:32Speaker 1: of your business man. You got to work hard to
- 9:34Speaker 1: be successful. You know. Sometimes I don't put that in there.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I just living and I expect my sons to emulate that.
- 9:41Speaker 1: But I gotta talk to him all the time. How
- 9:43Speaker 1: hard you got to work to be something. It's all
- 9:47Speaker 1: out of salt on it. Man. If you gotta target
- 9:49Speaker 1: in mind, you gotta go. You gotta wake up every
- 9:51Speaker 1: day trying to get there. And you can't get tired
- 9:54Speaker 1: of it because it's it's it's it never ends. You
- 10:00Speaker 1: always be this way. That's how life is designed and
- 10:03Speaker 1: set up. You got to be a hard worker. Man.
- 10:06Speaker 1: If you're always looking for some time to chill, and man,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I wanna go do what I want to do, you
- 10:11Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. In order to be successful, you
- 10:14Speaker 1: have to do a series of things that you're uncomfortable doing,
- 10:18Speaker 1: and work is the thing that most of us are
- 10:21Speaker 1: uncomfortable doing. It's so much easier to chill, man. I
- 10:24Speaker 1: wish I could kick back with a cigar man all
- 10:27Speaker 1: the time, but I can't. Man, I can't because I
- 10:34Speaker 1: got to work. Then, the last piece of the balanced,
- 10:40Speaker 1: balanced pieces. You gotta take some time out to enjoy yourself.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But if you ain't where you wanna be, you ain't
- 10:48Speaker 1: got a lot of time to enjoy yourself. Quit thinking, man,
- 10:52Speaker 1: that this balance is even. It's a whole lot of God,
- 10:56Speaker 1: a whole lot of family, a whole lot of business,
- 10:59Speaker 1: and a little bit of chilling. The chilling can't be
- 11:03Speaker 1: equal to the family, the business, or your God. If
- 11:06Speaker 1: the chilling is equal to any of them, you ain't
- 11:09Speaker 1: gonna make it. Quit chilling, man, and go to work
- 11:13Speaker 1: like a man. Do what you're posted to do, work
- 11:16Speaker 1: on your family, work on your relationship, work on your God,
- 11:19Speaker 1: work on your business. And then when you chill, you
- 11:22Speaker 1: might not chill is long, but your show gonna chill bigger.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You're gonna ball bigger. Babies. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 11:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Steve Harvey
- 11:34Speaker 1: Morning Show. I'm sorry to inform you this, but this
- 11:39Speaker 1: is the baddest morning showing the land. Let me make
- 11:43Speaker 1: an announcement. First of all, good morning, Good morning morning Jake.
- 11:51Speaker 1: What if Steve King of pranks? That's my do. Let
- 11:56Speaker 1: me just say this on this glorious Monday morning, and
- 12:00Speaker 1: I want to send much love and a shout out
- 12:03Speaker 1: to the entire Cleveland nation. We didn't win yesterday, but
- 12:12Speaker 1: we didn't lose yesterday. We tied and Lord ha mercy,
- 12:18Speaker 1: the city is rejoicing two years of straight losses. The
- 12:24Speaker 1: Cleveland Browns tied again and came back to do that
- 12:28Speaker 1: and almost whipped archrival of Pittsburgh Steelers, but the kick
- 12:34Speaker 1: got blocked at the end of overtime. Man to Steve,
- 12:43Speaker 1: is not a loss. Boy, you here, but you're in there. Boy.
- 12:48Speaker 1: What's going on in the city right now, right now, man,
- 12:50Speaker 1: the conversation, Hey, how do you feel inside? Like a
- 12:54Speaker 1: sign like that? Hope the first time in two years,
- 12:58Speaker 1: that's hope. Celebrate. And we tied a really really good
- 13:03Speaker 1: football y'all did y'all tied Pittsburgh Dog? That's good man.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Well you know it ain't gonna good for everybody this weekend.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Now we got we got that. But whoop. Now, I
- 13:17Speaker 1: ain't gonna lie there you go, don't don't don't. Don't
- 13:23Speaker 1: do that to me. Don't do that. Don't do that
- 13:26Speaker 1: to me though, don't don't know who you know? Who
- 13:31Speaker 1: you know? New England? Whoop? The text on Sunday? Yeah
- 13:36Speaker 1: whatever that Well something happened to time me on Saturday too. Okay,
- 13:43Speaker 1: well okay, let me say this. Clemson beat Texas and
- 13:47Speaker 1: I was there Texas. But I will say this. Them
- 13:52Speaker 1: Aggies was bowling. They was in the game. But yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 1: we we yeah, we we we love. I said it, Julie,
- 14:05Speaker 1: we louse what you do before the game, Oh man,
- 14:10Speaker 1: we tailgated. But before that, you sent us all Texas.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You know I sent you Whitey say again it was
- 14:23Speaker 1: the white boy tail gator hanging do this with you?
- 14:31Speaker 1: I don't want you. I'm not going to do this
- 14:37Speaker 1: with I was just looking for him and all appear.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Can I say this? Times have changed? Oh my god,
- 14:49Speaker 1: they were forced upon you, Jay. I didn't know it
- 14:59Speaker 1: was coming, no idea. All right, Uh, when we come
- 15:03Speaker 1: back for something funny, we'll talk more football, more sports.
- 15:06Speaker 1: You guys seem really into it, so we'll talk more
- 15:09Speaker 1: right after this. It's at thirty two after the hour.
- 15:12Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve, we
- 15:17Speaker 1: talked about it earlier. It's Monday, after football, and your
- 15:20Speaker 1: beloved Cleveland Brown snapped their seventeen game losing streak sort
- 15:25Speaker 1: of and can lose. They didn't lose seventeen. I didn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: know you could actually tie. They didn't win on the
- 15:34Speaker 1: other season before that, but you didn't lose. He no,
- 15:40Speaker 1: can't lose. I mean the great day, which lets us
- 15:45Speaker 1: know Cleveland Brown's got a defense. Six turn on your
- 15:48Speaker 1: hands together for that. Dam damn Brown's got a defense.
- 15:52Speaker 1: The dog Pound is back alive. The dog Pound was
- 15:56Speaker 1: in the Vegas bet was to cover the games Cleveland
- 16:00Speaker 1: has to win five games. This that was before preseason.
- 16:04Speaker 1: After preseason has probably changed. But my buddy, coming about
- 16:08Speaker 1: the title, how did it work when you're invade? How
- 16:11Speaker 1: does it work? Period? It ain't none, It ain't never
- 16:15Speaker 1: a title. That ain't normal with a pro team. Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 1: it ain't nothing until you it only matters in the division. Well,
- 16:22Speaker 1: are they gonna get a chance to break the tie
- 16:24Speaker 1: with the same team or does that work? They played
- 16:27Speaker 1: twice a year, like they played in Cleveland, They're gonna
- 16:30Speaker 1: play in Pitchburg. Each in the division team plays each
- 16:36Speaker 1: other twice. Okay, well, okay, there's like you said earlier,
- 16:40Speaker 1: there's hope that thing next time. Now we got home.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Now we're head in the New Orleans. Now you can
- 16:50Speaker 1: do some trash tongue because you didn't lose. So no,
- 16:53Speaker 1: but they are on their way to Drew Brees though, Jake,
- 16:56Speaker 1: where he would come that? Who that nation? That's a
- 17:01Speaker 1: different games can get ready? Yeah? Yeah, because this one time, Tash,
- 17:10Speaker 1: your opposite is in the field. Who they lost? Though,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I don't know about y'all be beating who that nation? Though?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm serious like that one that's different. Dog. Ain't nobody
- 17:24Speaker 1: think we just gonna come close to Pittsburgh either, But
- 17:28Speaker 1: we was in that town or what? But what what
- 17:30Speaker 1: what what do you what do you you think you're
- 17:32Speaker 1: gonna go tie everybody? I think we're gonna go to
- 17:37Speaker 1: New Orleans and win. No, Now that's hopeful and wishful
- 17:43Speaker 1: thinking that. Well, let's just yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 1: we're stopping when you stop it. But until you stop it,
- 17:53Speaker 1: here it is. Now we already know who lost this
- 17:56Speaker 1: past week is who to no took her all and
- 18:02Speaker 1: the damn Texings took her el. He got that. But
- 18:05Speaker 1: but right now when the teammate took no El, I'm
- 18:09Speaker 1: just gonna all I'm gonna say is this Cleveland is
- 18:12Speaker 1: not about to come up into Gumbo Nations and win.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You're not coming to the super Bowl. And when and
- 18:19Speaker 1: all you didn't want, you all, you didn't done. It
- 18:22Speaker 1: is tired one game and lost all the last part
- 18:25Speaker 1: up That ain't that we're coming to win the game
- 18:27Speaker 1: down in New Orleans. I love trash to feel how
- 18:31Speaker 1: you want to feel. But here we come. I know,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I know, Jillior. The Texas playing the next year, next week,
- 18:43Speaker 1: Titan nothing because they're just gonna be tired from all
- 18:49Speaker 1: in thunderstorms they've been cutting off down in Miami. They
- 18:54Speaker 1: could be tied from just put shoot on, take shoot off.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Might be time You're different when the Cleveland's tie. Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: I've been waiting on this. Who gets the top more
- 19:12Speaker 1: trash the team that loss of the team that ties
- 19:14Speaker 1: well on this show time team. You put it up
- 19:21Speaker 1: in the a f C. Even though that the Browns tied,
- 19:26Speaker 1: that was just a question, and that was I know
- 19:28Speaker 1: nothing about it's real simper though. Jay asked them these Texans,
- 19:33Speaker 1: these Texans uh football fans, asked them if they would
- 19:37Speaker 1: rather have had a loss, or asked them, let me
- 19:44Speaker 1: say this sea Not only did Houston lose, the Cowboys
- 19:48Speaker 1: lost too. So that's the only reason why everybody in
- 19:51Speaker 1: Texas lost. That's only why. Okay, Jay, we don't need
- 19:57Speaker 1: Joe Hill. Okay, you don't need Joe Hill. You're not
- 19:59Speaker 1: helping what is not as if the Texas is don't lose,
- 20:04Speaker 1: the only thing you make it better for us if
- 20:05Speaker 1: it's the Cowboys. He let me, let me, let me
- 20:08Speaker 1: be safe. Let me at least say this though. And
- 20:11Speaker 1: I don't know if you know this football honestly, and
- 20:15Speaker 1: I've been I've been watching over the whole weekend. It's
- 20:18Speaker 1: not watched as most people think it is it's not
- 20:23Speaker 1: as big. You know what I'm saying, it's not as
- 20:25Speaker 1: big as everybody thinking is the viewing is not at
- 20:29Speaker 1: the ratio that it used to be. Oh so okay, okay,
- 20:34Speaker 1: So you're listening to the Trump now because that's what Yeah. Oh,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you're going after Donald Trump tweets because that's exactly what
- 20:40Speaker 1: he say. You think I'm with Trumps. You repeat the
- 20:44Speaker 1: tweet l first game ratings are way down down, and
- 20:51Speaker 1: you're repeating, you're repeating. I'm not saying you're Trump reporter,
- 20:54Speaker 1: but you're repeating Trump's tweet the lowest thing over a decade.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I don't know how that could be on all three
- 21:00Speaker 1: of my TV on my TV. Where'd you get that?
- 21:07Speaker 1: I've been hearing everywhere. All I've been hearing is that
- 21:09Speaker 1: that that they're not watching football as much as they were.
- 21:12Speaker 1: That's all I've been hearing. And you think it's call
- 21:15Speaker 1: I watched it all weekend. All I'm saying is what
- 21:18Speaker 1: I've been hearing. Well tell him, we know whose ratings
- 21:21Speaker 1: is low. But here's a deal, long time, Okay, you
- 21:31Speaker 1: gotta look at the way television is watched now. Fantasy
- 21:36Speaker 1: football it's as big as it's really huge now. So
- 21:41Speaker 1: people go to watch NFL game they like I do,
- 21:43Speaker 1: cause I watch all the games and once because I
- 21:45Speaker 1: know they weren't gonna show Cleveland on the West coast,
- 21:48Speaker 1: so at least I can catch up with what play
- 21:50Speaker 1: they with quarters and all like that. I watch the
- 21:52Speaker 1: NFL game they live and and and they had a
- 21:55Speaker 1: fantasy football they scrolling at the bottom of that. Okay,
- 21:59Speaker 1: so that's a big too. Alright, Well, congratulations again on
- 22:04Speaker 1: your tie, Steve. With the Browns coming up next. It's Monday,
- 22:10Speaker 1: and you know that means church complaints are coming up next.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Deacon deaf Jam, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning
- 22:17Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour. In
- 22:20Speaker 1: national news, state of emergency declared for the Carolinas and
- 22:24Speaker 1: Virginia as these states prepared for a tropical storm Hurricane Florence. Okay,
- 22:29Speaker 1: it's been upgraded to a hurricane. And entertainment news as
- 22:33Speaker 1: well as Serena Williams Boil Boy Boy, What a weekend
- 22:36Speaker 1: she had? Huh? And Black Girls Rock Awards. Last night,
- 22:40Speaker 1: things got physical between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. Yeah,
- 22:46Speaker 1: don't like that. Yeah, that's not good. That's but it
- 22:55Speaker 1: could be all these male rappers but only two female
- 22:58Speaker 1: rappers and the two biggest mail rappers have to fight.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Come on and which one of the shows was. It
- 23:04Speaker 1: was a really big one. Yeah. Yeah, it was at
- 23:07Speaker 1: Harper's Bizore. Yeah. But man, let me tell you something, Nikki,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I mean, Cardi B was dressed and don't shake abanto
- 23:18Speaker 1: from head to toe, he posted. As she was sitting
- 23:22Speaker 1: on the front row of the fashion show, she said,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I've come a long way. This is what you have
- 23:28Speaker 1: to remember to all of us. If you've come a
- 23:32Speaker 1: long way, why I go back? I mean, look, Cardi B.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You're you're sitting front row of fashion shows now because
- 23:43Speaker 1: the girl can dress if they put you on the
- 23:47Speaker 1: front row of the fashion show. First of all, I
- 23:50Speaker 1: didn't know how covered it those seats were until my
- 23:53Speaker 1: until my wife started going to the shows, and all
- 23:57Speaker 1: she gets this front row seats, she won't she won't
- 24:00Speaker 1: sit anywhere else. So every fashion show she ever goes
- 24:03Speaker 1: to its front row. It's coveted. I've been sitting in
- 24:07Speaker 1: front of some really really famous people who couldn't get
- 24:10Speaker 1: in front row for whatever the reason. There's only so
- 24:13Speaker 1: many seats, right, these beautiful sisters are there, they're on
- 24:19Speaker 1: the front row. You just text I've come a long
- 24:23Speaker 1: way and Cardi Bat yes you have, Yes, you have
- 24:27Speaker 1: from a stripper. Now you're on the front row of
- 24:30Speaker 1: fashion show. You are the Harper stinct. It was one
- 24:36Speaker 1: of the videos, you know, different people were shooting videos
- 24:39Speaker 1: on their phone. Cardi B. It was some shoes. Somebody
- 24:44Speaker 1: through a shoe Cardi B got had the security pulled
- 24:49Speaker 1: Cardi B. Nicki Minaj. It's just ugly and it's just
- 24:52Speaker 1: this physical beef that they have in this beef. It
- 24:55Speaker 1: needs to stop. It really needs to stop because it's
- 24:58Speaker 1: ugly and there are two women and representing hip hop.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Like Shirley said earlier, but I mean, from from what
- 25:05Speaker 1: I've heard about it, it's it's Nikki going after Cordie she.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I mean, it really is. And that's booty after booty. Really,
- 25:12Speaker 1: that's what it is. It's booty at the booty. Yeah, wow, Yeah,
- 25:17Speaker 1: you don't see this? What was it? Yeah, let's move on.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes when he talked, it just it just left
- 25:26Speaker 1: the ad de places you. But suppose y'all don't see
- 25:32Speaker 1: booty at the booty though, y'all don't see that this
- 25:35Speaker 1: battle of the booties. Y'all don't even see this though,
- 25:38Speaker 1: But okay, I just from a female standpoint, I believe
- 25:43Speaker 1: in girl power and it could be as many female
- 25:46Speaker 1: rappers on top as possible. There are a bunch of men.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I mean, there's how many male rappers are on top
- 25:52Speaker 1: right now, But there can only be two women and
- 25:54Speaker 1: they have to go at each other. Something wrong with
- 25:57Speaker 1: that picture. Beefing doesn't make any sists at a level.
- 26:01Speaker 1: It's like Floyd Mayweather and what's the purpose? I mean, man,
- 26:10Speaker 1: one thing. Dion Hugley said it made sense after he
- 26:13Speaker 1: was watching Floyd and all go at it. He said,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I've just learned you had to be very careful who
- 26:20Speaker 1: you vent see. They've just been boy has just been talking.
- 26:26Speaker 1: They've been talking to each other about personal stuff. Now
- 26:29Speaker 1: all of a sudden they're spilling each other's personal stuff.
- 26:33Speaker 1: That don't make but Cardi B. These two women having
- 26:37Speaker 1: to be pulled apart, and the security was just you
- 26:40Speaker 1: saw him on the video going all caught everybody's second floor.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Now what The part of the video that made me
- 26:50Speaker 1: the thickest was the little dude that was with Cardi
- 26:55Speaker 1: B that got down on his knees to take her
- 26:58Speaker 1: shoe off for that right there. See, you don't need
- 27:03Speaker 1: nobody in your camp like that. If you have a
- 27:06Speaker 1: camp member that's girl, let me help you get out
- 27:09Speaker 1: these shoes so you can handle your business. You should
- 27:12Speaker 1: remove that person from your camp right now immediately. Who
- 27:16Speaker 1: does that? Who gets down there on the floor to
- 27:19Speaker 1: help take a woman shoe off so she can get
- 27:22Speaker 1: her balance so she can go fight? Who do that?
- 27:24Speaker 1: I saw that dude do that? I man, I wish
- 27:27Speaker 1: I wanted to go. Man, you little side, a little
- 27:30Speaker 1: piece of crap. He should be off the team. The
- 27:33Speaker 1: record label card, it be mama card, it be real
- 27:38Speaker 1: smart management. When they look at that tape, they need
- 27:41Speaker 1: to get rid of him. He need to be gone
- 27:44Speaker 1: because you ain't doing nothing to help to situate it
- 27:49Speaker 1: was but it was really the battle of the Buddhist
- 27:52Speaker 1: I have no dudes in my camp that will be
- 27:56Speaker 1: gonna come on, man, let's poop their ass. Come on,
- 28:02Speaker 1: everybody in my camp, be h, hold on, man, hold on, age, Hey,
- 28:05Speaker 1: what you're talking about? Holding to do this? Never let
- 28:12Speaker 1: you fight. Let's get that understood. I got nobody in
- 28:15Speaker 1: my camp that would do that. I'm fighting way before
- 28:20Speaker 1: you fight. The problem I had with you is you
- 28:23Speaker 1: don't see battle of the bootists, and that bothers me.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It was it was a booty fight. You don't get it.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You don't see it. You don't never been in a
- 28:31Speaker 1: booty event, and you don't know that. You know what
- 28:34Speaker 1: is a booty event? What is that? Why? Why y'all
- 28:37Speaker 1: talking to what is that? Though? I like I like
- 28:42Speaker 1: the fact that he gonna make it work, you don't
- 28:44Speaker 1: get what's my team Tommy right riding on. It's like
- 28:53Speaker 1: that David was in the riding room, Steve and I
- 28:55Speaker 1: trying to sell it and sell it. It ain't gonna work.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I love this absolutely nothing. Give up. It was gonna
- 29:06Speaker 1: be some more booties coming. It's really booty and boody.
- 29:12Speaker 1: It's a booty Matland his uncle because I like that
- 29:17Speaker 1: kes One thing we learned about jokes, saying it over
- 29:20Speaker 1: and over and over sometimes don't make it fun. Don't
- 29:25Speaker 1: But I wrote down with you. You wrote it out,
- 29:30Speaker 1: and he waited to the perfect time to come in
- 29:34Speaker 1: in there with you. He's team talking, team timing all
- 29:37Speaker 1: the way. Boy oh man. Yeah, but it's a sad,
- 29:43Speaker 1: sad situation when those but you know what it was,
- 29:46Speaker 1: what it really was, and that just was to be
- 29:48Speaker 1: serious about the whole thing. It was the battle of
- 29:51Speaker 1: the booty. That's what it was. That love that miss
- 30:01Speaker 1: Why do you keep asking these what they said? What?
- 30:06Speaker 1: I don't need to I don't want to miss it. It
- 30:08Speaker 1: It was the please, that's all he said it. But
- 30:14Speaker 1: when he said after I said it, really it sounded
- 30:17Speaker 1: fell it was a nonomous amanomenous like the presidents. He
- 30:28Speaker 1: could not say that words an animous man. He couldn't
- 30:31Speaker 1: say it. Really, we got the worst thing in the
- 30:34Speaker 1: world in the White House. Yes, we do. Gotta vote,
- 30:38Speaker 1: gotta vote, gotta vote, gotta vote. Yeah, you gotta get
- 30:41Speaker 1: out there and please vote. Please. President Obama was right there.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Every point made you miss him, miss him. Somebody try
- 30:55Speaker 1: to talk about you said, you talked, somebody talked about
- 30:57Speaker 1: you felt like Obama. All right, well, listen coming up next,
- 31:01Speaker 1: church complaints. Pastor and deacon are in the building. Right
- 31:05Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 31:11Speaker 1: All right, guys, time for church complaints. Pastor Motown, Deacon
- 31:14Speaker 1: death Cham in the building. What you got, um it
- 31:24Speaker 1: is obviously decision time we've been going forward and back.
- 31:32Speaker 1: What about the complaints, whether we're doing them or whether
- 31:38Speaker 1: we ain't. No, man, we are all right. Well if
- 31:43Speaker 1: you say so, I'm here. Ye have plenty of complaints.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I know you do. I know you do. Go ahead, Deacon,
- 31:52Speaker 1: go ahead, all right, pastor first and for a mouth,
- 31:55Speaker 1: Deacon Fred Flintstown and Deacon Varney and Rabba, I ask
- 32:01Speaker 1: him for you to have a shoe drive so they
- 32:05Speaker 1: can get their shoes down, because right now they are
- 32:09Speaker 1: bad footing and it's starting to be a problem with
- 32:14Speaker 1: them driving. Well, I'm like this, hire m Fred and Bonny.
- 32:23Speaker 1: We are not buying any more damn shoes unless no
- 32:30Speaker 1: listen to me. They don't have any shoes that I
- 32:33Speaker 1: know they don't, and I know why because they won't
- 32:37Speaker 1: upgrade their call. If you're trying to stop your car
- 32:41Speaker 1: with your damn feet like we pre your stock, We're
- 32:45Speaker 1: not buying no more damn shoes from Fred and Bonny.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But past that they have seventy two Chevy or something.
- 32:53Speaker 1: But they have worn out all the sandals. Sandals out
- 32:58Speaker 1: trying to stop them. Prehistory called with them times made
- 33:01Speaker 1: out of rock. Right now times have changed. Get yourself something.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I understand where you're coming from. Path. But but we're
- 33:14Speaker 1: not having a shoe drive for them. Uh all right, bad,
- 33:21Speaker 1: But they are wanting a shoe drive or something the
- 33:25Speaker 1: words of my daddy. People in hell gonna want ice water?
- 33:31Speaker 1: What that gout do with this shoe drive? We ain't
- 33:33Speaker 1: from there. You don't think they have any ice water
- 33:38Speaker 1: in there? No, I don't. There's been no mention over
- 33:41Speaker 1: the revelation. All right, well, let's just keep it going out.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Throw a technical Bible versus Hill. It twists his little
- 33:51Speaker 1: evil mind. Go ahead, all right. The sister Sharnice Williams
- 33:58Speaker 1: has had her feel child and it wants to know
- 34:04Speaker 1: why the church is not supporting her child fund. She
- 34:08Speaker 1: has got it a tie fund on the website. Uh well,
- 34:12Speaker 1: they can donate money to the cheering but but nobody
- 34:16Speaker 1: in the church has donated. In Chinese Williams tell Shanese
- 34:24Speaker 1: Williams the reason we ain't donating to nothing to her
- 34:27Speaker 1: child fund because they have a turn for that. It's
- 34:31Speaker 1: called child support. And if you find me, find me
- 34:35Speaker 1: and daddies and we can pin something on them with
- 34:39Speaker 1: some DNA or some paternity tests, she could get child
- 34:44Speaker 1: support patter. You sound like you were looking. We're looking
- 34:47Speaker 1: at forensic files or something. I don't understand what we
- 34:50Speaker 1: are you're going there. I don't understand how a woman
- 34:53Speaker 1: had a fifth baby and don't know the daddy or
- 34:55Speaker 1: that one eithering wants us to help her with a fun.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Well the hell we're helping her with a fun. We
- 35:02Speaker 1: need to help her. Fine ladies in general without fill
- 35:11Speaker 1: or do someone who with more intelligence than my deacon,
- 35:16Speaker 1: please welcome to honorable and bellegently beloved miss A and Trill. Okay,
- 35:24Speaker 1: good morning everybody out there. It's Monday morning, and let's
- 35:27Speaker 1: get this start. This is entered with the news of
- 35:29Speaker 1: Florence is now a hurricane again a category too, and
- 35:32Speaker 1: is aiming for the southern East coast. States of emergency
- 35:35Speaker 1: have been declared for both North and South Carolina and
- 35:38Speaker 1: Virginia in advance of a possible direct hit on Friday.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Police in Dallas have finally arrested the white female cop
- 35:45Speaker 1: who mistakenly shot and killed an innocent black man in
- 35:48Speaker 1: his own home because she thought it was her apartment.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Amber Geiger, a four year veteran, has been charged with manslaughter.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Garga says she mistakenly went to the wrong apartment after work,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and upon seeing a black man and what she thought
- 36:00Speaker 1: was her place, shot him dead. Her victim was twenty
- 36:03Speaker 1: year old Botham Jean, originally from St. Lucia. He's a
- 36:06Speaker 1: Christian youth minister. His family wanted the officer Gago would
- 36:09Speaker 1: have shot Jean before asking any questions if Botham Jean
- 36:12Speaker 1: had been white and not black. A new structure was
- 36:16Speaker 1: dedicated in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, yesterday to the men and women
- 36:19Speaker 1: aboard for Flight ninety three. It's called the Tower of Voices.
- 36:22Speaker 1: There are windshimes for each of the forty passengers and
- 36:25Speaker 1: crew members who died in the crash in that field
- 36:28Speaker 1: or nine eleven. There will now be an everlasting concert
- 36:32Speaker 1: by our heroes under the sky and under the stars,
- 36:36Speaker 1: whether rains or whether the sun shine. Tom Ridge that
- 36:40Speaker 1: was him that he's the former governor Pennsylvania. Tom Bridge
- 36:42Speaker 1: was also the first head of the Department of Homeland Security.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Kaeperni Hate is not gonna like this one. Nike's online
- 36:48Speaker 1: apparel sales soared some thirty one pent in just the
- 36:51Speaker 1: four days after the debut of the sportswear company's TV
- 36:54Speaker 1: head featuring Colin Kaepernick. In addition, while some white men
- 36:58Speaker 1: have posted pitches themselves burnings supposedly their Nike sneakers, and
- 37:01Speaker 1: white cops are calling for a Nike boycott, Black cops
- 37:04Speaker 1: around the country say they like Kaepernick, they understand why
- 37:07Speaker 1: he kneels, and that they support him. Serena Williams accused
- 37:10Speaker 1: of choosing a chair umpire Carlos Ramos of sexism over
- 37:14Speaker 1: the code violations. He charged her with the likely cost
- 37:16Speaker 1: of the US Open Championship. At one point, in frustration,
- 37:19Speaker 1: she called him a thief and he slapped her with
- 37:21Speaker 1: a verbal abuse game Billy and Keen Kings tweeted. Billy
- 37:24Speaker 1: Jane Kings said, when a woman is emotional, she's hysterical
- 37:27Speaker 1: and she's penalized for it, but men are not. And uh.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Retired tennis star Andy Roddick said, um, I have regrettedly
- 37:34Speaker 1: said worse and I've never gotten a game penalty. The
- 37:37Speaker 1: US crowd bowed Ramos and the outcome of the game
- 37:39Speaker 1: New and Miss America. Miss New York year old Niah Franklin.
- 37:43Speaker 1: She's really a tar heel. She's born and raised in
- 37:45Speaker 1: North Carolina. Tops to the Box box Office, this week
- 37:47Speaker 1: in the harder movie The Nun, I had a serious efficients.
- 37:50Speaker 1: When I was here, I saw none here. The nun
- 37:58Speaker 1: brought in some fifty three and a half in dollars. Okay,
- 38:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Nation find out a funcle Steve is smart
- 38:03Speaker 1: than his nephew. Will be back twenty minutes after the
- 38:05Speaker 1: hour and Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 38:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Former President Obama went after President
- 38:12Speaker 1: Trump for refusing to decry Neo Nazis in Charlottesville and
- 38:17Speaker 1: bullying the media. Mr Obama went in on his predecessor
- 38:21Speaker 1: while receiving an award at the University of Illinois. Take
- 38:24Speaker 1: a listen. It shouldn't be democratic a Republican to say
- 38:28Speaker 1: that we don't threaten the freedom of the press because
- 38:32Speaker 1: they say things are published stories we don't like. I
- 38:36Speaker 1: complained plenty about Fox News, but you never heard me
- 38:40Speaker 1: trying to shut them down or call them enemies of
- 38:42Speaker 1: the people. It shouldn't be democratic a Republican to say
- 38:46Speaker 1: we don't target certain groups of people based on what
- 38:49Speaker 1: they look like or how they pray. We are Americans
- 38:52Speaker 1: were supposed to stand up to bullies, not follow them.
- 38:56Speaker 1: We're supposed to stand up to discrimination, and we're sure
- 38:59Speaker 1: as how supposed to stand up clearly and on equivocally
- 39:03Speaker 1: to Nazi sympathizers. Wow. President Obama is emphasizing the importance
- 39:10Speaker 1: of the mid term elections, and now he is on
- 39:12Speaker 1: the campaign trail for Democrats. Thank you, President Obama. We
- 39:16Speaker 1: need you more than this sad way uncomfortable. Yes, he
- 39:27Speaker 1: did hear everything, President Trump. He said it put him
- 39:31Speaker 1: in sleep. Well you should have woke you, but up
- 39:34Speaker 1: he was speaking. We're about fifty six days away, guys
- 39:39Speaker 1: from the mid term elections. If you have not registered
- 39:41Speaker 1: to vote, please do so. Time is running out. Meanwhile,
- 39:45Speaker 1: President Trump tweeted, he fell asleep, like you said, Jay
- 39:48Speaker 1: after listening to President Obama's speech. Yeah, whatever, ain't nobody
- 39:53Speaker 1: to sleep at the White House? Yeah, in your answers,
- 40:05Speaker 1: because she looked like she finished. I think it's Mike Pence.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I really think everybody thinks that. Everybody. I hope he
- 40:14Speaker 1: said he'd take a light detective tests. I wore him to.
- 40:17Speaker 1: But they they're not. They're not gonna, they're not. No,
- 40:21Speaker 1: they just didn't make a trust nobody who ever bringing
- 40:26Speaker 1: his food? He questioned, like something. Yeah, he can't trust. No,
- 40:33Speaker 1: when you know you work somebody, you can't trust nobody.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I had that going on here, Jay radio station, stop man,
- 40:48Speaker 1: I know I got a mold in here, come leaking
- 40:51Speaker 1: all these stories to the in choir for five hundred
- 40:56Speaker 1: and eight hundred dollars. Time I turn around. Got a
- 41:00Speaker 1: new coach back all right? Coming up next at thirty
- 41:09Speaker 1: four after the hour. Serena Williams was fine, seventeen thousand dollars.
- 41:15Speaker 1: She was doing was standing up for herself. Get in
- 41:18Speaker 1: on the discussion. Go to Steve Harvey FM on social media. Okay,
- 41:21Speaker 1: we'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 41:25Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Serena Williams um, So, Steve,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you heard about this story. Serena Williams was fine, Yeah,
- 41:32Speaker 1: you saw it. Was fine. Seventeen thousand dollars. All she
- 41:35Speaker 1: was doing was standing up for herself what she believed in.
- 41:38Speaker 1: At the US Open referee, Serena was fine ten thousand
- 41:42Speaker 1: for for verbal abuse, four thousand for being warned for coaching,
- 41:46Speaker 1: and then another three thousand for breaking her racket. Uh.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Serena told the umpire, who was Carlos ramos um that
- 41:54Speaker 1: he was a thief and they stole a point from her.
- 41:56Speaker 1: She told him she took more to the point, they
- 41:58Speaker 1: took a game from her. Yeah, yeah, she told him.
- 42:02Speaker 1: He owed her an apology, and some feel that the
- 42:05Speaker 1: umpires missed this. I missed this, Oh did you? Yeah,
- 42:09Speaker 1: no I didn't. I didn't miss it at all. He was, look,
- 42:13Speaker 1: they have rules, but she was right, you know, like
- 42:17Speaker 1: he accused her of getting coached. She said she wasn't
- 42:21Speaker 1: getting coached. Her coach said he was coaching her from
- 42:24Speaker 1: the stands. But now they showed the camera and the
- 42:27Speaker 1: coach was being honest, as do all coaches. They gestured
- 42:31Speaker 1: to their players, but every time he gestured to Serena,
- 42:36Speaker 1: Serena wasn't even looking that way, and they got the
- 42:39Speaker 1: camera shots to prove it. So when he looked over
- 42:42Speaker 1: and saw the coach gesturing to Serena, Serena was never
- 42:46Speaker 1: looking at the coach. So he was doing stuff like
- 42:49Speaker 1: trying to tell her to back up, but she was
- 42:52Speaker 1: looking another direction, and they got the camera angles to
- 42:55Speaker 1: prove it. So penalizing her for coaching is what made
- 42:58Speaker 1: her say, I have never cheated. I would rather lose
- 43:03Speaker 1: that right. That's right. That gave her a lot of integrity,
- 43:08Speaker 1: and she talked about what she represented. She she has
- 43:10Speaker 1: a daughter, I'm raising my daughter right, and you know,
- 43:14Speaker 1: but the dude was, you know, you can't say anything
- 43:16Speaker 1: to me. He kept telling that you owe me an apology.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I mean, look, she broke her racket. You know what
- 43:21Speaker 1: people break, But you can't in the finals of the
- 43:29Speaker 1: US Open take a game from this woman when she's
- 43:33Speaker 1: up and winning. She was and winning. Yea, he knows
- 43:38Speaker 1: it would take her out of her game. That's that's yeah.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I think more more is old to her because of
- 43:48Speaker 1: her legacy. But but New York was given it to
- 43:50Speaker 1: a Now they were very fair because at the end
- 43:53Speaker 1: they was boring the decision. But she had to stop
- 43:56Speaker 1: him because she said this is her first and that's
- 44:03Speaker 1: not a little girl, and that you wanted to play Serena.
- 44:07Speaker 1: They asked her, how do you feel about the match
- 44:09Speaker 1: that you just want and she said, I feel good
- 44:12Speaker 1: about it, and then she said, can I say something?
- 44:14Speaker 1: And I really don't want this to come across bad.
- 44:17Speaker 1: He said, I really want to play Serena, be that's
- 44:21Speaker 1: what best he wanted to play. She said, I want
- 44:24Speaker 1: to play the best. Serena is the best. Yeah, and
- 44:28Speaker 1: when the crowd was doing when like you were saying, Steve,
- 44:31Speaker 1: when Naomi osaka one Serena was the one that stepped
- 44:35Speaker 1: in to tell the crowd to stop. Serena wins with
- 44:38Speaker 1: class and loses with take listen to them. Yeah, good evening, everyone,

- 56:10Speaker 1: read this. Let's get to it. Buckle up, hold on tight.
- 56:15Speaker 1: We gotta call you here. It is the strong very
- 56:19Speaker 1: letter subject how important is intimacy before marriage? Here Stephen Shirley.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I am a young single female. I recently had a
- 56:29Speaker 1: conversation with a close male friend about relationships and sex.
- 56:34Speaker 1: He told me that, from a man's point of view,
- 56:36Speaker 1: a man can never fully love a woman and give
- 56:39Speaker 1: his all to a relationship until they have sex. This
- 56:44Speaker 1: blew my mind because my girlfriends and I are with
- 56:47Speaker 1: holding sex now and we really think that we are
- 56:50Speaker 1: doing the right thing by making men wait. I look
- 56:53Speaker 1: back at how many men I have turned away knowing
- 56:56Speaker 1: that they just wanted to have sex with me. If
- 56:58Speaker 1: what my male friend and says is true, then I
- 57:02Speaker 1: may have missed out on a few good men. My
- 57:04Speaker 1: male friend says also said that sex does not overshadow
- 57:09Speaker 1: all of the other aspects that make two people to
- 57:12Speaker 1: be compatible. My male friend also said that sex does
- 57:16Speaker 1: not overshadow all of the other aspects that make two
- 57:19Speaker 1: people be compatible. Okay, but it can definitely be a
- 57:24Speaker 1: determining factor as to whether or not a man will
- 57:27Speaker 1: pursue a relationship. I have not always made men wait,
- 57:31Speaker 1: but hurtful experiences have made me want to practice celibacy.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Do you honestly think that making a man wait for
- 57:38Speaker 1: sex can cause him to lose interest in me? Or
- 57:41Speaker 1: will the right man be willing to wait for sex?
- 57:44Speaker 1: Please advise? Well, you're young, single female, so you know
- 57:50Speaker 1: I have to tell you like this. You have to
- 57:51Speaker 1: do what you believe in. Okay. Don't let anyone take
- 57:55Speaker 1: you off your game by telling you what they believe
- 57:58Speaker 1: in and telling you what they think you should do. Okay,
- 58:01Speaker 1: So if you're going to hold out, hold out, hold
- 58:04Speaker 1: out for the right reasons though, and hold out for
- 58:06Speaker 1: the right man. Uh. You know, you said you're young,
- 58:09Speaker 1: you you you said all of that, you're single and everything.
- 58:13Speaker 1: So please know that you'll you'll probably you know, come
- 58:16Speaker 1: in contact with a lot of men who want to
- 58:18Speaker 1: get at you, a lot of men who are gonna
- 58:20Speaker 1: say anything just to get into your pants. I mean anything,
- 58:24Speaker 1: you know it sounds and they'll make it sound really good,
- 58:27Speaker 1: you know, and really tempting and all of that. So
- 58:30Speaker 1: be aware of that young single female. He knows you're young,
- 58:34Speaker 1: and he's trying to to see you know, if you're
- 58:36Speaker 1: gonna take the bait, if he can really get at you.
- 58:39Speaker 1: So so don't be strong in that area, stick to
- 58:42Speaker 1: your beliefs, and yes, uh, as impossible as it may seem,
- 58:47Speaker 1: some men will wait. Now it depends on how long
- 58:50Speaker 1: and all of that. But some men will wait, all right. Uh.
- 58:53Speaker 1: There are few and far between. I have to tell
- 58:55Speaker 1: you that they are few and far between. But it
- 58:58Speaker 1: doesn't matter what they do. It matters to what you
- 59:00Speaker 1: do with your body. If you want to wait, you
- 59:02Speaker 1: have every right to wait. Steve, you shown, can you
- 59:07Speaker 1: can just wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You can save it.
- 59:15Speaker 1: You can put it in the freezer, what you can
- 59:19Speaker 1: get it put down in some tubes. You know. You
- 59:22Speaker 1: can store it in the lab. Okay, you can let
- 59:27Speaker 1: it naturally close. Really really, you can do any number
- 59:34Speaker 1: of things you want to do. Kidding me right now,
- 59:37Speaker 1: I just want right now, you ain't got to do nothing,
- 59:44Speaker 1: young lady. Because it's yours. You have every right to
- 59:49Speaker 1: treat it however you want to treat it. You do
- 59:54Speaker 1: not have the right to just pass it out to anybody,
- 59:59Speaker 1: which happens to be a lot of millens ago. So
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: now I'm taking a backwards approach to try to teach
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you a lesson him. He told you that from a
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: man's point of view, a man can never fully love
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: a woman and give her and give his all the
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: relationship until they have sex. Now listen to me. He
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: told you wrong, but he told you right. See it's
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: a funny way that he phrased this to you. He
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: said a man can never fully love a woman and
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: give his all in the relationship until they have sex.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: He told you wrong, but he told you right. First
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: of all, a lot of men will give they all
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to a relationship. Mm hmm. To get the sex, to
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: get it. See, you can get it all from a man.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: That is no limit to what a man will do
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: for it. You can get a man to do through
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: everything if they want it bad enough. You can set
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the hoops up, set them on fire. You can put
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: a swim tank over there with a shamou in it.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: We're gonna do whatever want you want me diving here
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: with shamoo, ride him back, feed him to fish, jump
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: through these hoops, kill this cobra, drank this raw egg,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: and then we're gonna have sex. Watch what do you do?
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Going to get his ass in that tank with shammou.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: You're going to kill that kobd even drank the raw egg,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: because that's what we do for the one we care
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: deeply about. Now, Steve, why are you sound like you're
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: talking crazy? Because sex is one of the several things
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: that we claim. Listen to me, ladies, sex is one
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: of several things that we claim. First of all, this
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: is my girl right here. We claim that, Hey man,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: this is my wife right here. We claim that this
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: is my fiance right here. We claim that the sex
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: it's a separate item that belongs to us. Solely, wholeheartedly.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You can't pass it out. We claim that. So that's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: what I'm telling you is that he is right. He's
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: telling you wrong that me and won't do anything and
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: won't love you completely because they will. But sex is
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: one of the things that we click. I would clarified
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: even more with a couple of questions from the ladies
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: about this when we come back, because I know this question.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: All right, Uh, we'll be back at twenty three after
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the hour with part two of Steve's response today's letter
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: subject how important is intimacy before marriage? Right after this
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Show. All right, Steve, here we
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: are with part two of your response. We're ready for
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the subject of today's Strawberry letter, how important is intimacy
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: before marriage? Let's recap. Uh, this young lady got this
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: close male free and telling her that from a man's
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: point of view, a man can never fully love a
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: woman and give us all in the relationship to have sex.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: That blew my mind because my girlfriends that I was
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: holding sex now and we really think that we're doing
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the right thing by making men wait, and you are
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the ones that won't wait for you. See, Yeah, I
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: don't know if you're saying wait until marriage. Is that
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: what she's saying in the letter? But you're making them wait.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I look back on how many men I've turned away
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: knowing that they just wanted to have sex with me.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: If what my male friend said to me is truth,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: then I have missed out on a few good men
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: having sex with you. It sounds like she's just saying
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: wait until she's ready, right, So you're not saying my
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: male friend also said that sex does not overshadow all
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the other aspects that make two people be compatible. I'm
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: telling you the guys spot on with that statement. Sex
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: does not overshadow all the other aspects that two people
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: be compatible, but it can definitely be a determining factor.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: That's whether or not a man will pursue a relationship. Now, see,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: you got it wrong. He should pursue the relationship before
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: the sex. So what this dude got you thinking is
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you got to give away the sex to have the relationship.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: That's what's backwards about the statement. That's why I said
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: the young man is telling you wrong, but he's right.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: But if he can get your mind turned around to thinking,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: the only way to have a relationship is that had
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: a sex and he got you in the trick bag
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: right where all of them want you. But a man
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: will give you a relationship to get the sex. It's
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you. A man will treat
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you right, a man will pull out doors, a man
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: will respect you, a man will honor you. A man
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: will make a commitment to you. To get to the sex.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: You just got to under get an understanding that once
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: the sex hast had that, that ain't the end of it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: And the way you find out out is in the
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: ninety day probation period. Because if he's seeing serious, he
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: gonna be right sex. Make it better if you want
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: to go out again sex, here's the deal. He's what
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you're not gonna do to act like you ain't been
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: over here. But no, well, what you're not gonna do
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: is act like you ain't ever been in love. And
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: no matter how they give it to you, it ain't good.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Right here, you and take your dog with you. You
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: love me to give it to me? Trust me, you
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: really don't. You really don't, because nobody ever had you
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: know what you have to love me like me. You
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: didn't have to know me. But let's make it work,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: though you have any questions about it? All right? For
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: this young girl, she really asked the question, will a
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: man wait for sex? Now, that's few and far between.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: It's rare. No, it's not rare. It's really not rare
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: that a man will wait for sex. You're not saying
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: wait until you saying that, but yeah, you're saying wait
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: until you're red, until she's ready. See that's the problem.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: See you young girls and women out here, y'all got
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: me and got y'all thinking this up to them when
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: they get it or not piss up to them, And
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: it's yours right exactly if anybody needs to be calling
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: shots when this cookie get passed out and get dunked
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: in the milk and get crumbled, it needs to be
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: the possessor of the cookie. And it ain't his until
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: he put a ring, no matter what he says to you.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: But damn what he said, it ain't his until he wanted.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: So now what the problem is is he got they
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: got y'all twisted. They got y'all thinking that you got
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to give him some sex to have a relationship. And
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: that's she's young and that's what he's doing to her. Well,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and your best friend is young too, because if he
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: was a grown ass man, he'd tell you the truth.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: But in his mind he's saying it wrong. But he
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: right because in his mind that's how they got it
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: played up now. But that's why I said, she can't
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: listen to what he says. She's got to follow her own.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: You and your girls are doing the right thing. Until
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: that blew my mind because my girlfriends and I with
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: with holding sex now and we really think that we're
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: doing the right thing by making me and wait, I
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: look back at how many men I've turned away knowing
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: that they just wanted to have sex with me. Wow,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: So you look back on all the men who just
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: who just wanted to have sex with you if you
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: told them they're not getting no sex tonight and you
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: ain't heard no more from him, or you ain't getting
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: no sex. This sad when we go out and you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: ain't heard from him, You've done yourself a great service, exactly.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: She must be in between relationship you changed and since
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you got these two shows and what happened to you.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: It's just different. It's just called growing up maturity and
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: your answers and that old dog skinned friend of yours
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: is older than me. So why y'all to talking to
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: each other about getting right? Is beyond. I just don't
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: like the Steve here. I don't like what's different about him?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: What change change change? Just he's so different. But I'm
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: gonna let you be. You guys, don't agree with him.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: He's making perfect sense. He's making great sense. Oh my god,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: he's on point. He just ain't my Steve. Yeah he didn't.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: You know, man will wait. So when I'm sitting on
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: this show, I'm glad to hear that. And this young
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: lady needs to hear that too. She she definitely needs
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: to hear it. I ain't nobody. Yeah, wait for the righting.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Real men looking for real men who are looking for
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: something will wait for you. Okay, pimps and players that
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: ain't looking for nothing, they ain't waiting for't here. That's it.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Ain't that handsome moment. Your clothes don't jump off when
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you see me. I have to wait right there. That's
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: good to come to. That, that's good to come. I
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: don't know the study body clothes jump off. We gotta go, Okay,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: we gotta go listen. Email us or Instagram. What's your thoughts?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: On today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey f M or

- 1:10:22Speaker 1: my goodness, wasn't good. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: of the hour, Steve and the guys, of course, they're
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: gonna have a sports talk more sports talk. They're gonna
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: recap some of yesterday's football. Uh game, you didn't go good? Well?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Did for Steve? It went pretty well for Steve right now.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: That's better than if you had a win in two years. Boy,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: right now, the like kissing your sister. You must be fun.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: All right, guys, colors here to give us a recap
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: on last night's finale of Power. Let me tell you
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the Rico case came crashing down, so Angela asked for
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: twenty four hours to talk to her family, but really
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: she had to get the crew together to prove their innocence.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: So Terry Rico got everybody tied up. Any affiliation association
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: you in it? Yeah, yeah, Terry Silver's back in the game.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: He came back to convince Tasha to turn but Terry
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and scoop up all the case. What do you come on,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: bad boy? Because they don't. Nobody like to read. That's true.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: But thereka have that to do with this part right here.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: So what ended up happening? She, Terry and Tasha got
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: busy in the parking lot, but then Ghost killed him.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: He killed he was watching, he was watching, so yeah,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: so what is it goes? So nobody else? Hell, you
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: didn't you didn't know that that was his wife and
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: he caught him in the outside in the pocket lot.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: I haven't set that's why Ghost killed him. Don't can't
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: you sit there and watch your wife? Man? Because he Yeah, man,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: somebody got to go. Yeah. So anyway, everybody wanted Dre dead.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: But Angela told Dre she could protect him and witness protection.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: But what about when Drey said he just wanted witness
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: protection from him and his daughter, not his baby mama.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: It was so that I missed all. Yeah, yeah, you've
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: missed the time you miss So meanwhile, Proctor kept telling
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: ghosts you can't trust Angela, just you know, you better
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: save yourself moving on? Who you know king trust Proctor? Well,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you know I didn't trust Proctor. Never trust PCT. I've
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: never trust Pctor. Girl. I've been my mama used part
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Mala ghost since I was a little borne. We're talking
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: about ghost Attorney Proctor, that's his name. He's an attorney. Anyway,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: moving on for a minute there, did y'all think Keisha?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Did y'all think Tommy was gonna kill Keisha? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: wait wait what Yes, I don't know if Time's gonna
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: kill I'll tell you well, I don't know if Time
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: gonna kill Kesha, but he show gonna kill Church complaints, Tommy,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: you're doing way too much. Well, anyway, this Tommy, she
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: he you know what. He was talking to Keisha and
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: he was testing her. He was trying to see if
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Keisha was right to die, and she no matter what,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: she told him, I will be right there for you.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: So then Tommy felt like he could trust Keisha, who
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: was played by the lovely La La Anthony. She's doing
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: her thing right, right right. So anyway, Monk quit the investigation,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: he quit his job. Ghost told Councilman Tate, who's played
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: by Lorenz Tate, to ride with him on the Queen's
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: project and to go ahead and make the announcement to
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: run for governor. Sax shows up at the house tells
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Tommy that his dad really did not snitch on him
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: and that Tommy, it was just so much going on
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: because it was moving. This episode was really moving. So
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Tommy and they go to the shootout. He really didn't
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: kill Dre. Then Drey jumps in the witness protection vehicle
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: and he got shot in the leg. And the fans say, hey,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: we can give you witness protection if you sign this paperwork.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Dre signs of paperwork. Now he's under witness protection. That's crazy.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's a lot in one episode. Y'all
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: need to watch it. Stop acting like you watched all
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: of this. Okay, I just Kesha get killed. She passed.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: The girl got killed in there in the car with Terry. Terry, No,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: not Tasha. Now she's good. Terry happened one. Yes, Terry
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: is there, Steve, you you got that right. But but
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: let me get go ahead, okay, go ahead, watch this
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: all right. So Angela's sister told Angela she needs to
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: let Ghosts go and get her life together. But you
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: know she can't. She can't. Angela can't let ghost She
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: can't let him go. Tommy felt like he had been
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: loyal to go through everything and that killing his dad.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: When he found out all the information about what happened
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: and that he killed his dad, Tommy felt like there
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: was one more thing he had to go do, and
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: he felt like he had to go kill Ghosts. He
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: gets to where Ghosts and Angela are there together in
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: that hallway, Angela and Tommy. Angela got shot by Tommy though, yes, yes,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: you know that hallway. Yeah, yeah, that same hallway, that
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: same hallway. So you can hit me up on lips
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: about Carlo on the ground, Twitter, social media. Do you
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: really think Angela is good because you remember Kane and
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: survived a fire. I don't think so, Carlinhi, Colin, thank you,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Thank you, appreciate that that was good coming out at
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the top of the hour, and thank you. Steve. The
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: guys will recap some of yesterday's football games right after this.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve. Miami Dolphins wide receivers Kenny
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Stills and Albert Wilson quietly took a knee during the
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: anthem of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Their teammate
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Robert Quinn raised a fifth during the song You'll remember.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Prior to the season, NFL owners approved a rule that
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: required players to either stand or wait in the locker
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: room while the anthem was being played. The rule was
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: put on hold after significant backlash from the players. Colin
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Kaepernick tweeted, my brothers continue to show their unwavering strength
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: by fighting for the oppressed. They have not backed down
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: even when attacked, and in timidated their courage will move
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: the world forward. Love is at the root of our resistance.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: That's what Colin Kaepernick said. Yeah, profound, Yeah, he's in it.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah, he ain't got Yeah, that's a
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: camp of man. You know what he's doing. I mean,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: he's working out because he's still for something right, Yes,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: he did. What he did was right in spite of
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: what they tried to turn it on him. Their brothers
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: still for the right there and so not. Has a
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: funny way of working out for you even when it
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: don't look right. Well, I mean he said love is
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: at the root of our resistance. I think that says
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: it all love you know, yeah, h yep. And it
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: was big for Tom Brady to come out of support him.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: That was all right. Um, so you guys, Junior, Tommy, Steve,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: you guys ready well, and JA don't mean to leave
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: you out. We're talking about the NFL. I don't know,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: you don't know. You don't have to bring j in
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: it all. I'm team J. But Jay don't know nothing
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: about the NFL. I ain't to leave him out though,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: but why bring him in? Though? It just sounds crazy
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: when I just say you, guys, Steve, Tommy Jr. Can
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I just get it out now? I'm just saying, how
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: about that big white boy from Arizona? Switch it up
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: on y'all? I'm done. Boy, Steve is feeling good? Well?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: What is either Steve or pimping? I don't know who
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I'm talking to, but I'm I'm a recab all. Yeah,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: what's up to? What's going? What's up, Julian? What's had

- 1:20:33Speaker 1: saying when I call you, what was happening? There ain't

- 1:25:27Speaker 1: been sicken of three years. Three years, yeah, man, three
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: years since the last time. God is good because that
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: time you had that infamous phone call. Tell us about
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: that again. We all came to see Junior in the hospital.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: But but Steve just called and he said what hello,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: oh Lord, damn up, call you back, God bless and
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: hung up. And I wouldn't do it. Sit there, I said, hello,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: hell yeah, yeah, I might not be a good man.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: I didn't win down there. I didn't win in there.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: The best thing if you're sick, it's not telling him
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: at all. Well, you going there because you're kind of stupid?
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: What does that mean? I went to go see my boy?
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Don't he always say the
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: wrong thing? Just being there saying all the stupid stuff.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: I don't say nothing. I just go see him and
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: make some he are now i'd be. I do be
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: crying when I get in there. Now he will tell
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: you that I can't get no word out. I'm crying
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: the whole time. But you have taken hold of your health.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: You've changed. Yeah, you know, I mean, and it's better
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: for me, you know, it is feel bad. I feel
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: a lot better. I feel energy, you know. I don't
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: get tired as fast, you know. And it's a good
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: thing because you know, out here in California the weather
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: is so perfect. Yeah, it is like perfect for me
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: out here. It's warm. It's warm. What's cold out of here?
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: You have a crisis when it gets cold. We were
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: in Atlanta. Yea, if I see forty five on, I
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: get nervous. The other day we was in the office
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: and it was to me, to me, just to me
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: it was cold. All I said was it's kind of
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: cold in here. And Junior said, really, really seriously, I'm
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: sitting here with sickle cell. I can't stand the cold.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: And you can't take that a little bit of cold
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: you complain about it's cold there. That's what I want
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: everybody to go to my social media, Junior sh man,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: and then if you got sickle cell, just post me
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: a picture. Man. I want to shout you out so
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: I get you all all months long. I just want
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: to shout you all out, man, and take care of yourself. Hydrate.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: Great news for everyone with simple cell. Yeah, keep keeping
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: wearing thiss going on this diabetic man. You don't. He
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: won't tell us all his symptoms are not. Don't. You
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: don't know. You don't know what he got when he
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: got it. It's just and all Steve knows is if
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Jay goes into a Christis just poured some orange juice
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: on that on him. All right, listen, we'll have more
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: time for church complaints. Pastor motown Deacon death cham in
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: the building. What you got It is obviously decision time.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: We've been going forward and back. What about the complaints
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: whether we do want them? Oh well we ain't. No man,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: we are all right. Well if you say so, I'm
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: here have plenty of complaint. I know you do. I
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: know you do. Go ahead, Deacon, go ahead, all right.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Past the first then for moth Deacon Fred Flintstown and
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: Deacon Barney, I ask him for you to have a
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: shoe drive so they can get their shoes down because
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: right now they are bad footing and it is starting
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: to be a problem with them driving. Well, I'm ja
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: like this hill m Fred and Bonney. We are not
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: buying any more damn shoes unless no listen to me.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: They don't have any shoes that I I know they don't,
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: and I know why because they won't up grade. They
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: called if you're trying to stop your car with your
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: damn feet like we pre your stork. We're not buying
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: no more damn shoe from Fred and Barney. But past
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: that they have seventy two Chevy or something, but they
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: have worn out sandals, sandals out trying to stop them.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: Prehistoric called with them times made out of rock. Right
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: now terms have changed, get yourself something. I understand where
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: you're coming from. Bath. But but we're not having a
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: shoe drive for them. Uh all right, but they are
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: wanting a shoe drive or something the words of my daddy.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: People in hell gonna want ife war. What that gotta
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: do with the shoe drive? We ain't from the head.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: You don't think they have any ice water in their No,
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: I don't. There's been no mention over the in revelation.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: All right, well, let's just keep it going on. Throw
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: a technical Bible versus him. It twists his little evil mind.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: Go ahead, all right. Down to a sister, Sharanese Williams
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: has had her fifth child and it wants to know
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: why the church is not supporting her child fund. She
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: has got it a tie fund on the website. H Well,
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: they can donate money to the cheering but but nobody
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: in the church has donated in Sharinese Williams tell Sharinese
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: Williams the reason we ain't donating to nothing to her
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: child fund because they have a turn for that. It's
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: called child support. And if you find me, find me
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: and daddy is and we can pin something on them
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: with some DNA or some paternity tests, she could get
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: child support. You sund like you were looking we're looking
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: at forensic files or something. I don't understand what we
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: where you're going. I don't understand how a woman had
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: a fifth baby and don't know the daddy and that
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: will neither wants us to help up with the fun.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: All right, thank you. We will be back with closing
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we are
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: last break of the day, Steve. This time is for
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: you to just leave us with something we can go
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: through the rest of the day with with your closing
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: remarks and what do you have for us today? So well,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: you know, uh, just something I've had to learn, but
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: I have to constantly, constantly remind myself of it all
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: the time. And that is something that Bishop Kenneth Olmer
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: talk me. He me, something I was going through, something
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: I was being attacked, I thought rather unfairly with a
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: bunch of vicious lies. And what I was about to
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: do was I had a plan of a counter attack.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna go I'm gonna say something. I'm gonna set
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: the record straight. Bishop Alma called me just in the
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: nick of time. I was about to make a call
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: to a reporter. I was about to make a call
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: to a reporter. I was about to just set the
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: record straight, and Bishop Alman said something to me that
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: changed my direction. He says, Steve, stay on the wall.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Stay on the wall. It's actually a scripture. I don't
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: know which one it is, but it's something to the
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: effect of stay on the wall. But what he explained
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: to me was very simple. You are in a certain
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: position in life. God has allowed you to climb in
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: dual overcome, survive and thrive. At a certain point in life,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: when people beneath you start throwing rocks up at you,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: when people on the floor start attacking you, saying stuff
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: about you that ain't true, it is in your best
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: interests to stay on the wall. Do not climb down
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: off the wall to address this small stuff. When God
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: has put you up there on the side of the hill,
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: you halfway up the mountain, but you're gonna come back
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: down to the bottom of the mountain because somebody was
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: hauling insults up there. So now you come all halfway
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: back down the mountain to address them. Why now you
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: got to go all the way back up there when
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: all you had to do, Steve Harvey, will stay on
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: the wall when all you had to do. Will stay
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: on that side of the mountain that God had allowed
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: you to get to, get on that plateau and take
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: yourself arrest. But stay on the wall, stay on the
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: mountain side. Don't come off to address these people that's
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: throwing rocks at you. Drake and Meek decided to quit
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: coming off the wall. It makes no sense. Cardi b
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: and Nicki Minaj. You're on the wall. Why do you
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: keep getting off the wall to address these small minded
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: matters and people. I'm telling you, man, just because you're
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: famous don't make you the smartest people in the room.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: We're not just because we're famous people. We make mistakes too,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: because guess what famous people are happened to be human beings.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: They just got more people know they faced and know yours.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: They not know better than you. They're not smarter than you.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: They're not kinder than you. They're not deeper than you.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: It's none of that. They may have seen a few
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: more things, been a few more places, But guess what
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: if you don't adjust your thinking and you keep coming
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: down off the wall. Don't those rich, wealthy, famous people
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: look real common to you? And don't it kind of
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: make you just a little bit of shame sometime when
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: you look over there and you see somebody that you
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: clearly know that God has blessed and allowed to get
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: to a certain position in life. And don't it sicken
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: you just a little bit when you look over there
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: and they back down off the wall, acting like somebody
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: that ain't never been up on the wall. I don't
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: want to be that person, Nicki Minaj, really don't want
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: to be that person. Cardi b You don't really want
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: to be that person, because we're just defeating the purpose
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: of climbing anyway. You can't climb the wall or the
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: ladder and keep getting off every time somebody thought a
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: right catch you. At one point in time, you gotta
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: keep your foot on the ladder and keep climbing. At
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: one point time, you just gotta stay on the wall
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: quick coming back down. The best lesson I learned was
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: not to address everything that said about me. Do you
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: know how much stuff gets said about me? Man that
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: I could easily straighten out. I don't even take the
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: time to straighten it out because what what. I'm on
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: a mission. God got me on the mission. God got
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: you on the mission. God trying to show you something man,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: and God can't show it to you. If you're gonna
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: keep acting regular, Why would God do something extraordinary for you?
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: If you just want to be ordinary? Why would God
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: give you more? If you're an appreciative of what you have?
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Why would God take you high if you keep climbing
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: back down? Just ask yourself that So one of the
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: things I had to come away with quick coming off
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: that wall, to address stuff. And that's why I want
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: everybody to consider today and sometimes let famous people be
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: your example. And what are the great examples? Was over
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: this weekend Drake and Meet Meal, they hugged, they squashed
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: the beef. There's plenty of money for everybody. Drake not
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: gonna get it all. Meet not gonna get it all.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: Card ain't gonna get it all. Nicki Minaj ain't gonna
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: get it all. Steve Harvey ain't gonna get it all.
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna get it all. It's plenty for everybody.
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: Make your money, stay on the wall, live your life
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: as a righteous person, do the best you can. Stay
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: prayed up because we're all gonna fall shorter to glory
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: at the end. All right, those are my clothes remarks.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: Why you don't say, Steve Harvey ain't gonna get it
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: all time, They're gonna get it all Why don't you
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: say that? I didn't. I didn't want to compare me
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: and you, But we're a good comparison. This is such
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: an obvious one. It doesn't really drop the mic stick. Well,
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: he always got to drop to Mike. Why I don't
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: get to drop to Mike? You ain't never said none?
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: Never up? You go mess around head and might fall
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: on you. Bye. Thank you for all Steve Harvey contests.
