- 2:07Speaker 1: come on now dig me or one and only Steve
- 2:10Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Thank God for it all
- 2:14Speaker 1: the time. Too. Well, here we go today. I want
- 2:18Speaker 1: to share something with you that I'll help you because
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's helped me. You know. I was telling the story
- 2:26Speaker 1: once that this magazine called Rob Report, that that was
- 2:32Speaker 1: a statue I used to see for years. I started
- 2:34Speaker 1: buying Rob Reporting magazines years ago. So I just wanted
- 2:40Speaker 1: to see what a fluent people did, you know, just
- 2:43Speaker 1: wanted to see what people with means did, what type
- 2:47Speaker 1: of investments they did, what they bought, you know, where
- 2:50Speaker 1: they traveled. To the Rob Report. It's just like, oh,
- 2:53Speaker 1: it's like a big boy toy magazine. You can see
- 2:57Speaker 1: what cars is out here. I didn't have money for
- 2:59Speaker 1: none of it. I was dreaming, though, you know, I
- 3:02Speaker 1: just wanted to see. And there's a statue inside this
- 3:07Speaker 1: magazine of this man who was coming out of this
- 3:12Speaker 1: bronze rock. And he was completely bronze, and he was muscular,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and you know, he didn't look nothing like me, but
- 3:20Speaker 1: he was a man coming up out of a rock.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And he had a huge hammer and a chisel in
- 3:24Speaker 1: his hand. And as his body from the waist up
- 3:28Speaker 1: was coming out of this huge piece of stone, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: could see where it was him who had been chiseling
- 3:33Speaker 1: and forming himself. So the name of the statue was
- 3:37Speaker 1: self made man. And for years man, I said, Man,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a big house one day, and I'm
- 3:43Speaker 1: gonna put that statue in the backyard in the corner.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's gonna be my little spot where I go chill,
- 3:50Speaker 1: because I'm a self made man. Well, after years of
- 3:54Speaker 1: working at becoming somebody and having reached a degree of success,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I would have nothing to do with that statue. There's
- 4:07Speaker 1: nothing about that statue that appeals to me anymore, because
- 4:11Speaker 1: on my journey and in my quest to become what
- 4:15Speaker 1: I thought would be, this self made man. Why I
- 4:18Speaker 1: could put this statue and had a statue in the
- 4:21Speaker 1: corner be kind of cold symbolizing it. I had made it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
- 4:28Speaker 1: a self made man. That we all need help, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: that God places people in our paths along the way
- 4:37Speaker 1: that benefit us oftentimes, and it's the most unlikely person oftentimes,
- 4:43Speaker 1: and the most unlikely way that He presents these people
- 4:46Speaker 1: in front of you is crazy. How he does it, man.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:52Speaker 1: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And that's cool, but not not for me, because I
- 5:00Speaker 1: needed help. And I've learned a lot of things like
- 5:03Speaker 1: this along the way. And the part I wanted to
- 5:07Speaker 1: share with you all about this is you've got to develop.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You've got to develop a sense of purpose. You have
- 5:16Speaker 1: to develop a sense of purpose. That's different. See, your
- 5:21Speaker 1: purpose is created for you by God because when He
- 5:28Speaker 1: created you as an individual from whatever two parents you
- 5:32Speaker 1: may have, that's not important here. When he created you,
- 5:37Speaker 1: he had something in mind for you, and it was
- 5:41Speaker 1: a purpose. God has not created a single soul to
- 5:44Speaker 1: become a criminal. God has never created a single soul
- 5:48Speaker 1: to be a drug dealer. This came about through some
- 5:52Speaker 1: decisions we made as sinners, and we stayed in that place.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But see what he created us. He has a wonderful
- 6:02Speaker 1: idea for us. But God gives us human beings this
- 6:05Speaker 1: thing called choice, and we have the power to decide.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So you can decide if you're going to adhere to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the purpose that God created you and made you for,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or you can go ahead and make some choices on
- 6:17Speaker 1: your own. So like, if God wanted to give you
- 6:20Speaker 1: a life and give it to come to you and
- 6:22Speaker 1: give you life more abundantly, and that's his promise if
- 6:25Speaker 1: you come to him, if you choose him, then cool.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But if you say, well this ain't moving along fast enough,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna give my own life of abundance, I'm gonna
- 6:35Speaker 1: start slinging. Well, guess what now, Tad. You've made a decision.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And see God's decisions and choices. The one thing I
- 6:44Speaker 1: learned about him, God's decisions, choices, his voice, it has
- 6:48Speaker 1: no sin in it. Ain't it amazing how many people
- 6:50Speaker 1: it came up to you and say, the Lord wanted
- 6:52Speaker 1: me to do this to you, and I'm doing it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That God is punishing you, and I'm doing this to
- 6:57Speaker 1: you because God gonna see that you get your day.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Who who is this person? Who is this person that
- 7:04Speaker 1: God all of a sudden gave this authority and power
- 7:06Speaker 1: to God? I didn't get that to nobody, man, nobody,
- 7:10Speaker 1: This person don't had a right to hold you to
- 7:12Speaker 1: your past, the right to make you pay. So who
- 7:17Speaker 1: makes them pay when they make mistakes? Because they all
- 7:19Speaker 1: make them. So when I say you have to have
- 7:22Speaker 1: a sense of you have to develop a strong sense
- 7:25Speaker 1: of purpose, that means you have to strongly get in
- 7:28Speaker 1: touch with your creator to find out what the purpose
- 7:30Speaker 1: you were created for. See, it's two things that I
- 7:34Speaker 1: had to learn along the way. My career was what
- 7:38Speaker 1: I was paid for. My calling is what I was
- 7:42Speaker 1: made for. See, it's two different things, folks. It took
- 7:46Speaker 1: me a long time to learn it. Some people think
- 7:50Speaker 1: that they calling is to be a performer. Well, that's
- 7:54Speaker 1: what you paid for, and a big part of your
- 7:56Speaker 1: life is your performance is tied directly to your gift.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But what you made for though, what you made for
- 8:03Speaker 1: is to bring about some significant change in another human
- 8:07Speaker 1: being's lives. Because we are all linked together in this chain.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That's what you are here for. Everybody has a purpose
- 8:15Speaker 1: to do something wonderful, meaningful, or impactful for another person.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You think the guy that invented the airplane was merely
- 8:24Speaker 1: inventing the airplane so he could fly. No, his purpose
- 8:30Speaker 1: was to become an inventor, to come up with this
- 8:32Speaker 1: invention so he could fly and we all fly. See.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Sometimes God will make you successful so you can become successful,
- 8:40Speaker 1: so you can turn around and teach other people how
- 8:42Speaker 1: to become successful. God save people so you can turn
- 8:46Speaker 1: around it tell other people how wonderful it is to
- 8:49Speaker 1: be saved. You see how this thing works. That's what
- 8:53Speaker 1: we have to do as people. And it's nothing that
- 8:55Speaker 1: we have to go and discover. We have to go
- 8:57Speaker 1: and develop it. But if you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's simply because here's it. If you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:05Speaker 1: it is simply because you have not contacted the creator
- 9:11Speaker 1: and maker of your soul to ask and find out
- 9:16Speaker 1: why you were created. It's as simple as that. If
- 9:23Speaker 1: you buy a Toyota, there's an owner's manual on the
- 9:28Speaker 1: inside that will tell you everything you know how to
- 9:32Speaker 1: best operate your Toyota, how to make it work? How
- 9:36Speaker 1: we to do? They got a troubleshooting section. Your faith
- 9:40Speaker 1: is the same thing as an owner's manual in your car.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Open up that bulk man, find out how to jumpstart
- 9:49Speaker 1: your life, how to troubleshoot it and get on with
- 9:51Speaker 1: your life, and find out your purpose and develop a
- 9:54Speaker 1: strong sense of purpose. All right, okay, you're listening to show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Let me have you
- 10:05Speaker 1: undivided attention. The Earl of Aartingham will open the show
- 10:12Speaker 1: right after introductions. Ladies and gentlemen, Colin for real, Good morning,
- 10:17Speaker 1: what's up Steve? Hey, guys, I will take it that
- 10:20Speaker 1: the horn section is preparing themselves. Ladies and gentlemen, Junior
- 10:25Speaker 1: kill space morning and now the King of Prank's nephew,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Tommy top top Earl stop Ti, Hi, Hi, Hi signorant.
- 10:42Speaker 1: How are now today? Are we good? We are great? Show? Oh? Absolutely,
- 10:50Speaker 1: it's not Duke young Er. Oh I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Earl,
- 10:56Speaker 1: Earl of Austingham. Not Duke Duke's sang with the four tops.
- 11:04Speaker 1: My bad, I'm more than hard me sanger. Oh my bad?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Do you know what that means? Earl? My bad? Earl
- 11:12Speaker 1: my bad when Earl the Pearl used to joke him
- 11:18Speaker 1: on the basketball court and run back down and go
- 11:22Speaker 1: my bad. So you know all the Earls, ah every hell, No, really,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Earl's really Earl? Who's well? Tiger Woods father eats know
- 11:40Speaker 1: them all? Yeah, Earl Campbell lovely sausage. I'm like great
- 11:49Speaker 1: football player, even batter sausage. Earl Campbell, Sausage's quite delicious.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It's going on over that America to day, still dealing
- 11:59Speaker 1: with the present. Then I see in the news, Yes
- 12:02Speaker 1: we are, Earl. It's rough. I Healtael, He's gonna force
- 12:06Speaker 1: your babies to go back to school in August. Did
- 12:10Speaker 1: you think about that? Earl? That is so crazy? Who
- 12:13Speaker 1: does he think he is? Take your damn kids to school?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Send that little barn by all. Yeah, I'm saying, hell
- 12:24Speaker 1: go to school. He's a fine man, I take it.
- 12:27Speaker 1: How is your country? Your country good? How you chilling?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Not exactly good? Because we have our set of issues
- 12:35Speaker 1: and everything ain't going hell. Blacks of rides hang up
- 12:38Speaker 1: in large numbers over houses. M Now, I'm from a
- 12:43Speaker 1: country that wrote the song London Bridges falling down? How
- 12:49Speaker 1: good connect be? Sing it? Every day to schools, London
- 12:57Speaker 1: bridges falling up? Shut up, damn it has fell? What
- 13:06Speaker 1: about Big Ben? You all the landmarks in London? The clock,
- 13:11Speaker 1: you know I love the clock. I'll tell you one
- 13:13Speaker 1: thing I had aspirations when I was young to be
- 13:15Speaker 1: one of the soldiers that stand in front of Buckingham
- 13:19Speaker 1: Balance with the big fur hats song. Yeah you did that.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I don't know. My father bought me a hat when
- 13:25Speaker 1: I was eleven years old. Hat hot as hell. I
- 13:31Speaker 1: don't know. Well, it's all damn day here. Why are
- 13:35Speaker 1: we gouting? The queen never comes out coming up at
- 13:40Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the cello. Right
- 13:43Speaker 1: after this, you're listening morning show? All right, time, I
- 13:48Speaker 1: asked the cello. Call it what we got today? All right? Well,
- 13:51Speaker 1: we're getting a lot of questions, all right, Steve. This
- 13:54Speaker 1: one is from Janet in Philly. She says, I'm in
- 13:57Speaker 1: my early sixties and I've been married for thirty years,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but the past seven years have been rocky. Now my
- 14:05Speaker 1: husband is having health problems, which makes it harder to
- 14:09Speaker 1: live with him. We haven't had sex in many years,
- 14:12Speaker 1: and even before he got sick, we don't get along
- 14:16Speaker 1: and I want out now that he's sick. I look
- 14:20Speaker 1: like an evil person when I tell everyone, or I
- 14:22Speaker 1: tell people I'm planning to divorce him. I am still
- 14:26Speaker 1: full of life and I want to live in peace.
- 14:28Speaker 1: So should I do what's right for me and leave him?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Or should I stay and support him while he's sick?
- 14:35Speaker 1: For him? You know that's a hard one because you
- 14:38Speaker 1: know you take these vows better for word sickness and
- 14:41Speaker 1: in health richer and for poor. And I understand your
- 14:45Speaker 1: conscious because you feel bad leaving him while he's down,
- 14:51Speaker 1: but you deserve to be happy too. And sometimes people
- 14:55Speaker 1: who get sick and need help become a little glumpy.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Hard to do. Maybe you should just try talking with him,
- 15:03Speaker 1: get immediated to come over and kind of talking out
- 15:05Speaker 1: and see if y'all can't if he can learn and
- 15:09Speaker 1: to talk to you better, you know, And then maybe
- 15:13Speaker 1: you need to hire like the in house nurse to
- 15:17Speaker 1: come over for a few hours to give yourself a break. Yeah,
- 15:20Speaker 1: sometimes you need to break three times a week, come
- 15:22Speaker 1: over four hours a day so you can go out.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Just go out, you know what, your girls, have a
- 15:26Speaker 1: little tea or something. You know, it's cold where you're
- 15:29Speaker 1: going but what about the sex part. Don't do but
- 15:33Speaker 1: that that ain't happening. Number, you ain't gonna well, she said,
- 15:38Speaker 1: he's sick. He ain't had no sex, and you ain't
- 15:40Speaker 1: had sex, and yeah, what Yeah, obviously that's obviously not
- 15:43Speaker 1: a priority. Years man, I've been taking so many damn hills.
- 15:51Speaker 1: All I have is side effect. He can't see, taste,
- 16:03Speaker 1: fa out, kidney bad. You got a side effects? All right?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Here's another one. Brian and Casey, Missouri. I am a
- 16:19Speaker 1: twenty seven year old man dating a twenty five year
- 16:21Speaker 1: old woman, and when we started dating four years ago.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Listen to this. I mistakenly had sex with one of
- 16:29Speaker 1: her friends one night while I was drunk. I told
- 16:33Speaker 1: my girl that's what he said. I told my girl
- 16:35Speaker 1: about it the next day, and she broke up with me.
- 16:38Speaker 1: We got back together a few weeks later. Last month,
- 16:41Speaker 1: a frat brother called me to tell me he needed
- 16:44Speaker 1: to get something off his chest that was bothering him.
- 16:48Speaker 1: He told me he slept with my girl when we
- 16:51Speaker 1: broke up. Briefly, my girl did confess and she said
- 16:56Speaker 1: it was paid back. I love my girl and I'm
- 16:59Speaker 1: trying to move past this, but it's hard so should
- 17:02Speaker 1: I trust her from now on? Well? I mean, I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 1: hold on, brother, Now, can't she say the same thing?
- 17:11Speaker 1: She did it for payback? You did it because I'm mistaken.
- 17:18Speaker 1: So how many times you're gonna mistakenly sleep with somebody
- 17:21Speaker 1: I accidentally thought she was you? Is that the mistake?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Is that what I was drinking and I thought it
- 17:29Speaker 1: was you? Come? That don't work forever? Now? And then?
- 17:34Speaker 1: What what punk ass fratt is you in? No? No, no, no,
- 17:40Speaker 1: no no no what you ever want? You in? Doc?
- 17:42Speaker 1: But how you I'm a frat bro. I want to
- 17:44Speaker 1: get something off my chest has been bothered? What yours? Dog?
- 17:50Speaker 1: I don't I don't know what it is, but I'm
- 17:52Speaker 1: just saying, dude, dude, you're gonna call your boil up
- 17:57Speaker 1: so you can get something off your test and tell
- 17:59Speaker 1: him you snap with his girl? What's the purpose of that?
- 18:04Speaker 1: It wasn't on your chest when you was When you
- 18:06Speaker 1: was on your chest and you knew that was your
- 18:10Speaker 1: frad brother's girl, Dog, you knew it then, Yes, you
- 18:14Speaker 1: knew it before that. You knew they were seeing each other.
- 18:17Speaker 1: So hold up, dog, you gotta get something off your chest.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Your motive for telling it is wrong on so many levels, bro,
- 18:26Speaker 1: So where are you coming from with this? That? That
- 18:29Speaker 1: whole thing just stinks. Man. So you you could trust her,
- 18:33Speaker 1: but you need you first of all. You need some
- 18:34Speaker 1: new friends, partner, and whoever that dude was getting something
- 18:39Speaker 1: off his chest, take him off your list of friends
- 18:41Speaker 1: because that ain't what he is. Give a damn what
- 18:46Speaker 1: he is. Moving on, Cordell in the atl I'm a
- 18:51Speaker 1: professional man and I've married a lazy woman. Now I
- 18:56Speaker 1: see why my mama and sister don't like her. We've
- 19:00Speaker 1: been married less than a month and she hired a
- 19:03Speaker 1: chef that cooks three times a week and a housekeeper
- 19:06Speaker 1: that comes weekly. She didn't even talk it over with me.
- 19:10Speaker 1: She works from home as a social media manager, so
- 19:13Speaker 1: we don't need extra help around the house. I can't
- 19:17Speaker 1: finance her fantasy life and end up living check to check.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'm young, so I need some real advice about this.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Is this normal? No, it's not normal. Hell no, it's
- 19:28Speaker 1: not normal. And number one, try to look at something.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Some people married any relationships for the lifestyle. But like
- 19:35Speaker 1: I try to teach people all the time, if you
- 19:38Speaker 1: get with somebody for a lifestyle, it has to cost
- 19:42Speaker 1: you a piece of your life. That's how you get lifestyle.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You got to give up chunks of your life to
- 19:48Speaker 1: attain lifestyle. It's not free. So this girl obviously married
- 19:53Speaker 1: you knowing you was doing real well and went, Wow,
- 19:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna get me up a chef and a housekeeper
- 20:00Speaker 1: and I'm stay home. I'm a social media manager. What
- 20:03Speaker 1: this is a mistake. This is not the norm. Marriage
- 20:08Speaker 1: is a series of compromises a lot of open discussions
- 20:13Speaker 1: and the two of you work together. If one person
- 20:16Speaker 1: in the marriage is off going on a separate tangent
- 20:19Speaker 1: doing what they want to do, is not going to work.
- 20:24Speaker 1: She didn't even ask you to get a chef. Who
- 20:26Speaker 1: she you cheating on cooking for you and work? She
- 20:28Speaker 1: in the house even three meals cook and she looking
- 20:31Speaker 1: at social media. That's what she does for a living.
- 20:33Speaker 1: So she's looking at how other people live on social
- 20:35Speaker 1: media fantasy like trying to make it herd. You ain't
- 20:39Speaker 1: got chef? Money's about? Hello? Yeah, wello cuple power off
- 20:46Speaker 1: dog a damn app some bad brubhub or so got
- 20:52Speaker 1: dephut Tommy running that breakback? Right after this, you're listening,
- 20:59Speaker 1: heard anybody coming up at the time of the hour,
- 21:01Speaker 1: miss Anne is standing by with more of today's national
- 21:03Speaker 1: news plus trending news. The bird watching is not corporating
- 21:07Speaker 1: with the investigation watching that. Okay, we don't even know
- 21:11Speaker 1: death about. We'll talk about that in the time of
- 21:13Speaker 1: the hour. But right now it's time for nephew. Tommy's
- 21:16Speaker 1: running that prank back. I got doz, I got dough,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I got dough, I got dos, I got doughs. All right,
- 21:33Speaker 1: here we go. It's uh your doors, your doors, that's
- 21:35Speaker 1: the prank. Let's go, cat dog. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 21:39Speaker 1: to reach a mister Paul. Please call Virginia Senior, probably senior. Okay,
- 21:44Speaker 1: is man, how are you doing that? I'm good, I'm
- 21:46Speaker 1: gonna listen. My name is Mark. I'm actually calling from
- 21:48Speaker 1: a company called Doors. Are you Are you at court? Yes? Correct?
- 21:54Speaker 1: You guys just stuilt at home? Right. Yeah, I'm like
- 21:56Speaker 1: I said, my name is Mark Stevens. I'm actually calling
- 21:59Speaker 1: from Doors. We're actually the company that uh supplied the
- 22:03Speaker 1: doors that are actually throughout your house. Okay, great, what
- 22:07Speaker 1: are you calling for a follow up? Oh no, this
- 22:08Speaker 1: isn't a follow up. Actually, we've got a couple of glitches.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We want to try and get get straighten out if
- 22:13Speaker 1: we could find uh, Well, here's here's the problem, sir.
- 22:16Speaker 1: The problem we're having is that the contractor that actually
- 22:19Speaker 1: built you all's home, yes, has not paid for the doors.
- 22:24Speaker 1: You guys have been there two and a half months,
- 22:26Speaker 1: and we can't seem to get the contractor to come
- 22:30Speaker 1: in and pay for the doors. Try to call them.
- 22:33Speaker 1: We've tried to call him several times and we have
- 22:35Speaker 1: not been able to get number the yeav on him.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Because you have a good number, I can give you
- 22:39Speaker 1: a number because I really don't have anything to do
- 22:42Speaker 1: with that. It's like, how do you get my number? Well,
- 22:45Speaker 1: actually we had your number of files as the homeowner
- 22:47Speaker 1: and that's pretty much how we had you. But the
- 22:50Speaker 1: problem we're facing here, sir, is we've tried to get
- 22:52Speaker 1: this guy for the last couple of months and we
- 22:55Speaker 1: can't get him. So, actually, what's what's gonna happen here
- 22:58Speaker 1: in the next day or so is we're probably gonna
- 23:01Speaker 1: have to come and get all the doors. O ways
- 23:03Speaker 1: can do what? We're probably gonna have to come and
- 23:05Speaker 1: get all the doors in your house, take them off
- 23:08Speaker 1: and bring them back here to the plant until we
- 23:11Speaker 1: get you gonna get out of my doors. We're gonna
- 23:13Speaker 1: have to get those doors until either we get a
- 23:15Speaker 1: contractor or you know, we get paid for the doors. Now,
- 23:19Speaker 1: what could happen is you could pay for the doors. No, no, no,
- 23:21Speaker 1: already paid for the doors. And that's that's that's past tense.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I've done that, paid you saint paying that means I
- 23:28Speaker 1: got a double back. Well, sir, we haven't been paid,
- 23:30Speaker 1: sir for the doors is no, no, no, the contractor
- 23:33Speaker 1: was paid for the doors. That's who paid you, Okay,
- 23:37Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir, we
- 23:39Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all here at doors now at all?
- 23:44Speaker 1: Oh okay, well at doing they should have received a
- 23:48Speaker 1: check from my contract and misleading you, sir, is that
- 23:51Speaker 1: that hasn't been done since you have not been paid.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You're gonna come back and get my doors out, you said,
- 23:56Speaker 1: We Now, who's all this? You? And who am gonna
- 23:58Speaker 1: come here? It's a problem here? Like, no, no, there
- 24:01Speaker 1: ain't no problems. We're gonna we're gonna resolve this very peacefully.
- 24:04Speaker 1: But who is we? Okay, So what's taking place here?
- 24:07Speaker 1: My job is they've taken this money out of my
- 24:10Speaker 1: check that hasn't been paid for the doors. Oh yes,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I can understand that, but why would they take it
- 24:15Speaker 1: out of your check. You did the man hours, you
- 24:17Speaker 1: you've done your work. I don't understanding, sir. But since
- 24:20Speaker 1: the company hasn't been paid, the company is taking it
- 24:22Speaker 1: out on me and it's not gonna come down on me.
- 24:25Speaker 1: So either I'm gonna get the doors, well, you need
- 24:27Speaker 1: to quit your job because they ain't gonna because they
- 24:29Speaker 1: need to give you a not just give you a bonus,
- 24:31Speaker 1: but give you some our only work. Because bottom line
- 24:34Speaker 1: is you're talking about company to get my doors. No,
- 24:36Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen. Either we resolve this peacefully as
- 24:39Speaker 1: if you paid for it, or I come out and
- 24:42Speaker 1: get the doors and I'm not fin the city and
- 24:43Speaker 1: go back. You need to go in and come get
- 24:46Speaker 1: these doors. Gas up and come get these doors. Because
- 24:48Speaker 1: you're not gonna come and get this. I'm not gonna
- 24:50Speaker 1: send you no money, okay, sir. Then then then what
- 24:53Speaker 1: we need to do is get a schedule time where
- 24:54Speaker 1: I can come out and get all the doors. I'm
- 24:56Speaker 1: on your time. I'm sorry, I'm on your time now.
- 24:59Speaker 1: So you got you must be paying me not since
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm on your time, what are you talking about? Because
- 25:03Speaker 1: you're talking about you're gonna set up a time with me.
- 25:06Speaker 1: That means I have to leave and do what I
- 25:08Speaker 1: do to be meet you here to get something don't
- 25:10Speaker 1: belong to you, which is my door, so you don't
- 25:12Speaker 1: have to be there at all, because I'm gonna I'm
- 25:14Speaker 1: gonna come in and take the front door off, and
- 25:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep keep moving through the house and get
- 25:18Speaker 1: all the doors and get them back here to the player.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I don't think you hear yourself now first and for
- 25:22Speaker 1: almost how you when you come to the front door,
- 25:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna be without waiting on you as you as
- 25:26Speaker 1: you taking off the lads, I'm gonna be on you behind,
- 25:29Speaker 1: making shure you realize you're gonna have to take this
- 25:31Speaker 1: door or take this And I'm thinking, I'm pretty show
- 25:35Speaker 1: I'm coming to you and you get that first door,
- 25:36Speaker 1: so I can't keep going back and forth with you.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. I'm coming to get
- 25:40Speaker 1: them doors, even if I got to take a because
- 25:43Speaker 1: I gotta get my money back from the company that
- 25:45Speaker 1: they that took from me, because you damn contractor did
- 25:48Speaker 1: not play for the damn doors. Hey, you better, Hey,
- 25:50Speaker 1: bringing your tones down when you talk to me, you're
- 25:52Speaker 1: talking to a girl. Man, I'm gonna I'm gonna put
- 25:55Speaker 1: this on you. I'm not gonna allowing you to come
- 25:57Speaker 1: to my hearts and take these damn doors and you
- 26:00Speaker 1: ain't coming to getting no money. I'm coming to get
- 26:02Speaker 1: them doors that I'm coming to get them today. I
- 26:04Speaker 1: need every what time you're coming. I want to even
- 26:07Speaker 1: bad when you come next with these doors, because I
- 26:10Speaker 1: make so Please what kind you're coming, don't don't worry
- 26:13Speaker 1: about when I'm coming. You don't know what I'm there.
- 26:14Speaker 1: When I take the first door off the heads every door,
- 26:18Speaker 1: we're gonna meet at that door and who that and
- 26:20Speaker 1: tell you what I'm gonna pay you. I'm paying dollar equipment.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Now take that check and gonnake take that inside whomping
- 26:27Speaker 1: the night. I'm gonna take that hop but if that's
- 26:29Speaker 1: what it take. But I gotta take this door. You
- 26:30Speaker 1: want to get my money, I mean to do next time,
- 26:33Speaker 1: get your damn money. Stop, get a jar to pay
- 26:36Speaker 1: you better for this equipment. You're gonna get it in
- 26:38Speaker 1: fed Well, I'm not sure. I'm not gonna keep going
- 26:41Speaker 1: back and forth with you about you whooping by can't
- 26:43Speaker 1: go any more. That is the end. Ring me and
- 26:46Speaker 1: take that wipment and take it on hand. Take but
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm bringing them door to every door you should have
- 26:54Speaker 1: been calling a contract? What killing doors? I'm doing from
- 26:57Speaker 1: from my damn Come on, I'm telling you what you
- 27:00Speaker 1: need to be calling them. He got me to get
- 27:02Speaker 1: every though you got in that hony, that numb I

- 27:19Speaker 1: Get it from your mama, ring no doing and you

- 27:39Speaker 1: that ain't really who I am? But who are you?
- 27:42Speaker 1: I am? Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 27:46Speaker 1: You just got prank phone called by your wife fade.
- 27:51Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, shot raining damn number. You don't
- 27:55Speaker 1: getting what I can now? Sails. Oh brother, you got me.
- 27:59Speaker 1: You know the upper typical neg I got when the
- 28:01Speaker 1: red doors. You know we can do the red door.
- 28:03Speaker 1: You're doing something, Hey man, I gotta ask you, man, Paul,
- 28:08Speaker 1: what is what is the baddest And I'm talking about
- 28:11Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. Oh the show
- 28:17Speaker 1: And cousin Tom I was over mann't bring the number now?
- 28:23Speaker 1: All this moving so I'm thinking they're looking forward, but
- 28:25Speaker 1: they down that goodness, Yeah, we're gonna call that stest them.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Damn those though you understand wide over them. Dough does
- 28:36Speaker 1: got to come off. And those ain't paid for everything's
- 28:38Speaker 1: gonna pay for stuffing them dough. We got to get
- 28:40Speaker 1: them dose. Man here this tonight, dog gets that. Get
- 28:51Speaker 1: that down. What's the scoff I got, dopey? They doing
- 29:04Speaker 1: it right there in the doorway, all right up at
- 29:10Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right here to see you
- 29:12Speaker 1: Harvey boys. Show, you're listening. Show, Okay, call us what's
- 29:19Speaker 1: going on with this with the birdwatcher not cooperating with
- 29:22Speaker 1: well junior, you guys remember Central Park Karen. Her real
- 29:26Speaker 1: name is Amy Cooper. The white woman who called the
- 29:28Speaker 1: police on the black man or was a birdwatcher who
- 29:32Speaker 1: asked her to leash her dog in New York Central Park.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You know, she has now been charged with falsely reporting
- 29:39Speaker 1: the incident in the third degree, which are you know,
- 29:42Speaker 1: misdemeanor charges, and if convicted, she could serve up to
- 29:46Speaker 1: a year in jail. But anyway, the however, the man
- 29:51Speaker 1: the birdwatcher, go ahead and see they're not sending the
- 29:55Speaker 1: white woman to jail for calling on the black dude.
- 30:00Speaker 1: That's a little states of this America. Go ahead. I
- 30:06Speaker 1: didn't know Negroes was bird watching. That's my first. That's
- 30:09Speaker 1: my first black bird watching. But now you know, I don't,
- 30:13Speaker 1: I don't, I ain't know. It's very watch I was.
- 30:15Speaker 1: You know, it's a layers to story. But I'm a
- 30:22Speaker 1: white woman to jail for a year for calling on
- 30:25Speaker 1: black person. Go ahead, caller, Okay, So here we go. So, however,
- 30:28Speaker 1: the man the bird watcher, Tommy Christian Cooper, that's his name,
- 30:32Speaker 1: and her name is Amy Cooper. They've no relation. But anyway,
- 30:37Speaker 1: she called the cops on Christian Cooper. He told the
- 30:40Speaker 1: New York times that he feels that Amy Cooper has
- 30:43Speaker 1: suffered enough and he's not cooperating. But he did say,
- 30:49Speaker 1: mister Cooper, Christian Cooper, he did say that he understands
- 30:53Speaker 1: the principle of it all and if the DA needs
- 30:57Speaker 1: to pursue the chargers, then he should. He's just not
- 31:01Speaker 1: born to cooperate because, yeah, he feels like she's suffered enough.
- 31:05Speaker 1: She her reputation, she lost her career. So that's his pointing.
- 31:10Speaker 1: So he says, I mean, look, look, I ain't man
- 31:13Speaker 1: it to do, you know, I mean, you know, I
- 31:15Speaker 1: mean lesson learn. I mean, what else you're gonna do
- 31:17Speaker 1: to it? You know, I'm not that's his point. Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: that's his point. She suffered enough, she lost her job,
- 31:25Speaker 1: she lost her job. I mean, you know, she got
- 31:27Speaker 1: beat up on social media. Tried you tried to do
- 31:30Speaker 1: something that didn't work. You bought attention to a cause.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm through with it. But you know what, Steve, a
- 31:37Speaker 1: lot of people are looking at the fact that this
- 31:39Speaker 1: could have gone left and it could have been deadly,
- 31:45Speaker 1: could have got killed. Absolutely. Now I want y'all look
- 31:50Speaker 1: at the other side. Now, I'm just throwing this out
- 31:52Speaker 1: there for you to consider. I know I if I'm
- 31:58Speaker 1: the buried watching which is which not? But go ahead,
- 32:01Speaker 1: go ahead. But if you were in the park, I
- 32:04Speaker 1: can't go down to the court. What you know, I
- 32:08Speaker 1: ain't not tell him what come up my pass? But
- 32:13Speaker 1: you're the victim in this situation. Dam that they're gonna
- 32:17Speaker 1: pull records and they're flipping. Yeah, yeah, you know, you
- 32:20Speaker 1: know bro might be knowing him. I don't need no
- 32:23Speaker 1: more this here. Let's just let by gonna be and
- 32:25Speaker 1: don't need anybody need to go into my past. Oh,
- 32:30Speaker 1: I ain't always been a bird watching? Is that Broderick Harvey?
- 32:34Speaker 1: That's Brock That's what that there? But we've been looking
- 32:37Speaker 1: for him. Oh yeah, yeah, I'm down here trying to
- 32:41Speaker 1: help the DA now all of a sudden, Yeah, y'all
- 32:44Speaker 1: both on the same side of the court. Brooke could
- 32:47Speaker 1: be just staying out to wait. Man. I ain't man
- 32:49Speaker 1: that you bro She have suffered enough. We don't know
- 32:55Speaker 1: his history. Yeah, but you said, see he said, let
- 32:58Speaker 1: that go, y'all. Let him. Hey, let's go, y'all gonna
- 33:03Speaker 1: get off from me. Check on the dog, check on
- 33:08Speaker 1: the doll. No, it's serious, though, it was some serious.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's the principle two of it all. Yeah, that's something there. Well,
- 33:16Speaker 1: all right, time for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen, miss
- 33:20Speaker 1: Anne Tripp, thank you, thank you everybody. This is a
- 33:22Speaker 1: trip with the news, and let's go with this. Lieutenant
- 33:25Speaker 1: Colonel Alexander of Vinman has announced his retirement from the Army.
- 33:29Speaker 1: May not remember the name, but Vinman was on the
- 33:31Speaker 1: receiving end, he says, of a huge backlash and for
- 33:34Speaker 1: months ever since, he appeared as the key witness at
- 33:37Speaker 1: the Congress's impeachment herey and inquiry into Donald Trump. So
- 33:41Speaker 1: Vinman says that after twenty one years of service, he's
- 33:43Speaker 1: retiring from the Army. Vinman's lawyer says his client has
- 33:47Speaker 1: been subjected to a campaign of bullying and retaliation and
- 33:51Speaker 1: forced to choose between pleasing the president and breaking the law.
- 33:54Speaker 1: The Trump administration's former National Security Advisor, John Bolton tells
- 33:58Speaker 1: MSNBC that he thinks the way that was treated was shameful.
- 34:01Speaker 1: In my experience with him, I think he merited promotion.
- 34:07Speaker 1: His performance was exceptional, so as the performance of his
- 34:10Speaker 1: twin brother, Yev, who was in a different capacity at
- 34:13Speaker 1: the NSC. You know, it was just as unacceptable for Vinman,
- 34:19Speaker 1: I think, to be singled out, for alex Vinman to
- 34:22Speaker 1: be singled out even worse than a sense for his
- 34:25Speaker 1: brother Yev, whose only sin, as far as I can tell,
- 34:27Speaker 1: was he was his twin. And again Alexander is leaving
- 34:31Speaker 1: US Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration yesterday in
- 34:34Speaker 1: a case involving access to birth control under the Affordable
- 34:37Speaker 1: Care Act, or Obamacare. The high courts rule that employers
- 34:41Speaker 1: can refuse to provide coverage for contraceptives on either religious
- 34:45Speaker 1: or moral grounds. COVID nineteen infections continue to spike in
- 34:48Speaker 1: several states, Valades purporting more than ten thousand, six hundred
- 34:52Speaker 1: new cases, Arizona over thirty eight hundred new cases. Arkansas
- 34:56Speaker 1: has been about a twenty five percent jump in coronavirus
- 34:59Speaker 1: infections in just the past week so now, as the
- 35:01Speaker 1: Republican National Convention approaches for the first time, the Trump
- 35:04Speaker 1: campaign seems to be preparing at least to be flexible.
- 35:08Speaker 1: President Trump has been counting on a large in person turnout,
- 35:11Speaker 1: you know, at next month's convention, which was moved to Jacksonville, Florida,
- 35:15Speaker 1: from its original side in Charlotte, North Carolina after the
- 35:18Speaker 1: governor there in court in North Carolina expressed a wait
- 35:20Speaker 1: and see attitude about hosting such a large event with
- 35:23Speaker 1: coronavirus infections going all over and changing. But Trump just
- 35:27Speaker 1: may have to make his RNC presidential acceptance speech of
- 35:30Speaker 1: virtual one after all. At least he seemed a little
- 35:32Speaker 1: less sure of things when asked by Great Event Suster
- 35:34Speaker 1: in our great TV it really depends on the timing. Look,
- 35:37Speaker 1: we're very flexible. We can do a lot of things,
- 35:39Speaker 1: but we're very flexible. As the first time you heard that,
- 35:41Speaker 1: the GOP nominating convention is set for the last week
- 35:44Speaker 1: of August. Finally, sad news singer Sharon Page has died.
- 35:48Speaker 1: She sang with Harold Melvin and the Blue Note. Remember
- 35:53Speaker 1: this one? Can you make you beautiful voice? Now back
- 36:01Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to. Welcome
- 36:06Speaker 1: back everybody, Steve hard Morning Show. Up. Listen call it.
- 36:10Speaker 1: What has the President them done this morning? What do
- 36:14Speaker 1: we wake up to today? Well, you know, yesterday President
- 36:17Speaker 1: Trump is threatening to cut funding from schools that don't
- 36:21Speaker 1: reopen in the fall, He tweeted yesterday Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden,
- 36:27Speaker 1: and In amongst other countries, schools are open with no problems,
- 36:32Speaker 1: and the Dems meaning the Democrats, think it would be
- 36:35Speaker 1: bad for them to politically uh if us schools open
- 36:40Speaker 1: before the November election, but important for the children and families,
- 36:46Speaker 1: may cut off funding if not open that. This is
- 36:50Speaker 1: the version of the President used in his tweet yesterday,
- 36:54Speaker 1: was they couldn't was they couldn't funding when he was
- 36:56Speaker 1: cheating on their sat They was they couldn't have done. Wow.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You better quote the niece book Mary El Trump's Now,
- 37:07Speaker 1: I'm just saying always cutting funds that affects people who
- 37:12Speaker 1: are less fortunate. Ye, So you can't cut off funds
- 37:15Speaker 1: at rich people schools because they're not operated by your
- 37:19Speaker 1: funds the right. See, he goes after people who need
- 37:24Speaker 1: state funding to even open. Charter schools and private schools
- 37:30Speaker 1: don't rely on any of that. So once again he's
- 37:34Speaker 1: going after the less fortunate. After you don't open these
- 37:38Speaker 1: schools up, I'm I'm gonna defund you all because then
- 37:42Speaker 1: lie he's trying to paint is the Democrats don't want
- 37:44Speaker 1: the schools open so that he can look bad to
- 37:48Speaker 1: an election. Excuse me, Donald Trump, call it? You have
- 37:54Speaker 1: school aged children, Tommy, Yes, you have school aged children. Ye,
- 38:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk to the two parents on the show
- 38:03Speaker 1: that have children that go to school? Are you willing
- 38:06Speaker 1: to send your children to school right now? And call it?
- 38:14Speaker 1: You got up close on your zoom camera like all
- 38:19Speaker 1: this face. No person is willing to risk the safety
- 38:27Speaker 1: of that child just so you won't be president. And
- 38:33Speaker 1: then and then he has the audacity to criticize the
- 38:38Speaker 1: CDC for the guidelines that they have put in place
- 38:42Speaker 1: if these schools consider reopening. The president is criticizing the
- 38:48Speaker 1: Center for Disease Control guidelines to keep the children and
- 38:52Speaker 1: staff and teachers safe. How dare you? And Arizona is
- 38:58Speaker 1: a red state. The death toll and the number of
- 39:03Speaker 1: cases in era. Do you know the Arizona is closer
- 39:06Speaker 1: becoming an epicenter for this now? Yeah? Open too soon?
- 39:10Speaker 1: The state open too soon? And you're talking about sending
- 39:13Speaker 1: children back to school next month. No, Now, he's just crazy.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, Kanye
- 39:23Speaker 1: West did an interview. It's probably gonna be something crazy.
- 39:25Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about it right after this. You're listening
- 39:28Speaker 1: to Okay, Carl, you want to help us introduce what
- 39:34Speaker 1: Kanye Din said, Now, well, Kanye West recently did an
- 39:39Speaker 1: interview with Forms and magazine, and here are some of
- 39:42Speaker 1: the highlights from the interview. Kanye claims that he had
- 39:46Speaker 1: coronavirus back in February of this year. Didn't I know that?
- 39:49Speaker 1: He said he experienced chills, shaking into bed, he was
- 39:53Speaker 1: taking hot showers, so that's what he said. Also, do
- 39:57Speaker 1: I do that after sex? All them symptoms right now?
- 40:02Speaker 1: What he could have really had corona after sex symptoms? Anyway?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Are you done? Kanye is an anti vax sir. You know.
- 40:18Speaker 1: He calls vaccines the mark of the beasts. His spears
- 40:23Speaker 1: range from negative outcomes like paralysis. They want to put
- 40:28Speaker 1: chips inside of us to make it where we can't
- 40:31Speaker 1: cross the gates of heaven. Kanye also declared himself this
- 40:40Speaker 1: was running for president. You vaccine us. They're gonna put
- 40:45Speaker 1: chips in us so we don't get through the gates
- 40:48Speaker 1: of heaven. Yes, that's Jesus, Jesus got scan us. Jesus
- 40:58Speaker 1: Jesus before he knows he had to scan us, God,
- 41:05Speaker 1: God who made us. There's a lot of people that
- 41:10Speaker 1: don't agree with vaccine. When we get to heaven, okay,
- 41:16Speaker 1: listen man. Kanye also declared himself pro life, saying that
- 41:21Speaker 1: playing parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists
- 41:25Speaker 1: to do the devil's rin women. He's pro life, Yes, yes.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeezy also says that he's serious about running for president
- 41:40Speaker 1: and he's already picked the running mate in Wyoming. She's
- 41:44Speaker 1: a preacher named Michelle Tidball, and his campaign slogan, hey man,
- 41:49Speaker 1: you've got to stop this hill. I'm just telling you
- 41:53Speaker 1: you gotta be killed. He'd picked the running Tidball. Yes,
- 41:58Speaker 1: nobody ever heard of a Wyoming preacher, and he plans
- 42:02Speaker 1: to run independently as an independent under the Birthday Party ticket.
- 42:08Speaker 1: That's the name of the party, the Birthday Party, because
- 42:11Speaker 1: when we win, it's everybody's birthday. And he's officially taking
- 42:17Speaker 1: the red hat ap. How good is It's medication? Man,
- 42:22Speaker 1: it's lack of Is he the too much medication or
- 42:24Speaker 1: lack of medication? It's one of them. Oh and one
- 42:27Speaker 1: more thing. He no longer supports Trump, so he think
- 42:34Speaker 1: we finished to support him now. I'm just telling this
- 42:39Speaker 1: is the same dude said dad and said, You're like
- 42:44Speaker 1: the father I never had. Yeah, I was so hurt
- 42:49Speaker 1: when Kanye said that, because I went, I think of
- 42:51Speaker 1: all the men who've had great fathers, and I don't
- 42:56Speaker 1: know any man who had a great father who think
- 43:01Speaker 1: that Trump is like him the same. I don't recognize.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I don't recognize a single trait in Donald Trump that
- 43:12Speaker 1: I saw in my father, Not a single trait. And
- 43:17Speaker 1: now he no longer supports Trump. Yeah, no he does.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Why are you all up at the White House showing
- 43:23Speaker 1: him your phone? Showed him the airplane he needed to
- 43:26Speaker 1: be on. Got your hat on, you know? Man? Come on, brother, Yeah,
- 43:31Speaker 1: come on, y'all get ready for his birthday parties. They're coming.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I mean, I hate to say it, y'all, but we're gonna.
- 43:37Speaker 1: We're gonna. We're gonna have to Kanye's We don't. Yeah,
- 43:42Speaker 1: we're gonna. We're gonna have to hop on your Somebody
- 43:46Speaker 1: look up this running mate. What's her name? Shelted Ball
- 43:51Speaker 1: from Wyoming State. What's the problem where you find her
- 43:58Speaker 1: in Wyoming? She a preacher and she didn't tell you that,
- 44:02Speaker 1: Kny ain't. God, don't need to scanners. This is a
- 44:07Speaker 1: man calling up next. We got the nephew we have
- 44:10Speaker 1: to pray called for today. God already know who you're listening.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Morning show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:19Speaker 1: right about four minutes after today's Strawberry letter, the subject
- 44:23Speaker 1: I'm married to an escort. We don't know what that's
- 44:27Speaker 1: gonna be about. That you didn't know, but right now
- 44:36Speaker 1: what you got for I got it for you, baby.
- 44:38Speaker 1: My daddy boat, my daddy's boat. He sensit. It bout
- 44:47Speaker 1: his daddy boat, he cried, daddy, both his daddy, both
- 44:54Speaker 1: me suthing to him. When you call somebody and they
- 44:59Speaker 1: paired to God that they left him dramatic. It means
- 45:09Speaker 1: a lot my daddy boat. Let's go, kid though. Hello, Hello,
- 45:15Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a mister Wilson. Please, mister Wilson,
- 45:20Speaker 1: how are you today? Who is it? My name is Williams. Well, listen,
- 45:26Speaker 1: we've been getting a few complaints, sir about some things
- 45:30Speaker 1: on your property there. Who are you with? Uh? Actually
- 45:34Speaker 1: I'm with the homeowners Association. Wanted to reach out and
- 45:37Speaker 1: give you a call today. Oh well, how are you doing?
- 45:41Speaker 1: Pretty good? Listen? Um, got a few things I kind
- 45:44Speaker 1: of wanted to discuss with you here that seemed to
- 45:46Speaker 1: be a problem that's taken place in the neighborhood there. Um,
- 45:52Speaker 1: it's been brought to our attention down here at headquarters
- 45:54Speaker 1: that you have, um a few things on your property
- 45:57Speaker 1: that are are not functioning that really shouldn't be on
- 46:00Speaker 1: the property. Uh. You have two cars supposedly in your
- 46:03Speaker 1: driveway that are not being used, been sitting there for
- 46:06Speaker 1: quite some time. Well, yeah, well, one of them I'm
- 46:08Speaker 1: currently working on. I'm almost I should have it repaired.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I'm just waiting on getting wait wait and get a
- 46:13Speaker 1: little extra money to get it take care of. The
- 46:15Speaker 1: other car is just function it. I just don't drive,
- 46:17Speaker 1: but I have more than one car. Okay. Now, you
- 46:21Speaker 1: you also have a camper that seems to be has
- 46:25Speaker 1: been there for at least eight months now, that's that's
- 46:28Speaker 1: sitting there. Is that correct as well? Yeah? Yeah, I'm
- 46:32Speaker 1: I'm working on getting some storage for that is. But
- 46:35Speaker 1: it ain't really been there eight months, just maybe around
- 46:37Speaker 1: about six seven eight months. And uh, you know, I'm
- 46:41Speaker 1: looking at our past records and stuff. It seems like
- 46:44Speaker 1: there was a complaint before about the you know, keeping
- 46:48Speaker 1: the yard, uh, pretty cutting all of that kind of stuff.
- 46:52Speaker 1: And I'm just looking at past complaints that I have
- 46:54Speaker 1: here now The biggest one that I have that that's
- 46:57Speaker 1: concerning your property, sir, is uh supposedly in your backyard.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Now there's a you have an old boat that's in
- 47:05Speaker 1: your backyard. Yeah, yeah, but I don't see that both
- 47:10Speaker 1: bother nobody. Well, well, I mean it's it's it's kind
- 47:13Speaker 1: of a sore eye for the people. I think. I
- 47:15Speaker 1: think you guys backyards actually bump up against each other,
- 47:18Speaker 1: and you guys have a chain link fence between the
- 47:21Speaker 1: two of you all, and I think the boat is
- 47:24Speaker 1: must be just a sore eye for the family that's
- 47:26Speaker 1: behind you. All. Well, you know, I don't see myself
- 47:29Speaker 1: getting rid of that boat. So I got a cover
- 47:33Speaker 1: on it. Everybody else got a boat. I don't see.
- 47:35Speaker 1: What's the problem is. Well, okay, here's here's what's actually happening,
- 47:39Speaker 1: mister Wilson. What's gonna take place is this. Now we're
- 47:42Speaker 1: gonna give you a fourteen day extension, fourteen days actually
- 47:47Speaker 1: to move the car that is not functioning, the camper
- 47:52Speaker 1: as well, and definitely the boat we need. We're gonna
- 47:55Speaker 1: need those three items. Well, I ain't gotten no moved boat.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I just told you I was working on so well
- 48:01Speaker 1: for storage do you know how my storage called Now
- 48:03Speaker 1: the boat. Now the cab, I'll get that take care.
- 48:06Speaker 1: But the boat. The boat, the boat my daddy gave me,
- 48:08Speaker 1: and my daddy gave me that that that's the only
- 48:10Speaker 1: thing my daddy gave me before he died. Now now
- 48:13Speaker 1: I'm not moving that boat nowhere. The boat won't get
- 48:16Speaker 1: fun if I take you down that to the water.
- 48:18Speaker 1: It worked, sir, and I understand it wholeheartedly. You know,
- 48:21Speaker 1: I'm basically I'm just a messenger I have. I'm gonna
- 48:25Speaker 1: have to get the non functioning car that's not working properly.
- 48:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to get that out within the two
- 48:31Speaker 1: week notice, as well as the camper, and definitely the boat.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Now I gotta get that out. That's gotta be gone.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I ain't moving. I'll tell you
- 48:39Speaker 1: that that plan what you're gonna do, sir. You gotta
- 48:42Speaker 1: either move the boat. I'm gonna have somebody come over
- 48:45Speaker 1: and haul all of these things away. Well, i'll tell
- 48:47Speaker 1: you what. I got thirteen reasons why you won't go
- 48:50Speaker 1: over and touch that boat. And I got two mo
- 48:53Speaker 1: two to thirteen twenty six. I got thirteen and then
- 48:57Speaker 1: I got another twenty six added on to that, why
- 49:00Speaker 1: you want to bring now want me to touch my
- 49:02Speaker 1: daddy vote because my dada gave me that bowl. I'll
- 49:04Speaker 1: be damn at of you. You know, I'm tired of
- 49:07Speaker 1: you with me. It's that Cross Street report because sir,
- 49:11Speaker 1: I'm not at liberty to give you the name who's reported,
- 49:15Speaker 1: so you haven't live to give me something because I
- 49:17Speaker 1: know you know eight months and it ain't nobody to
- 49:21Speaker 1: say saint to it? So why the hell y'all me
- 49:23Speaker 1: about how to vote in the backyard to my dada
- 49:25Speaker 1: gave me? Sir? The language is not necessary. The bottom
- 49:30Speaker 1: line is I want to camper out. I want to
- 49:33Speaker 1: vote out, and I want the car that's not functioning
- 49:36Speaker 1: move within two weeks or I'm towing it out. I
- 49:39Speaker 1: tell you, when I give you a personal invitation to
- 49:42Speaker 1: come over him, put the vote, the campus and the car,
- 49:45Speaker 1: and I I will beat you like that's what beat you, sir?
- 49:51Speaker 1: H Wow, I'm gonna allow one car to stay. I
- 49:54Speaker 1: just want to make sure that you know that I've
- 49:56Speaker 1: given you the statement over the phone, letting you know
- 49:59Speaker 1: that what what has taking place here, Mistakes will take it,
- 50:03Speaker 1: but I ain't move my daddy boat. You're gonna move
- 50:05Speaker 1: your dad's stinking boat if I don't bring the loan,
- 50:11Speaker 1: but you bring somebody, sir, trust me, Trust me. If
- 50:14Speaker 1: we come there, we're definitely gonna be bringing authorities with us.
- 50:18Speaker 1: My mind will go to jail because I love my daddy.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Ain't now one of you gonna touch my daddy's boat
- 50:22Speaker 1: that's on he left me. I got one one thing
- 50:25Speaker 1: I need to say to you, sir about this in
- 50:27Speaker 1: a situation. Excuse me what you got to say? All
- 50:31Speaker 1: I have to say is this. This is nephew Timmy
- 50:33Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 50:37Speaker 1: by your brother. Man got up, I got to pull
- 50:49Speaker 1: up all right, man, Your brother told me, he said, Man,
- 50:54Speaker 1: he'd be going Eddie with the homeowner soldier, he said, Man,
- 50:57Speaker 1: just call him and tell him he got them all
- 51:00Speaker 1: this to he said, but most of all, tell him
- 51:03Speaker 1: y'all gonna haul off that boat. He said. He can't
- 51:06Speaker 1: even had that dog on boat. But I love that
- 51:10Speaker 1: they know that, they know that. I got one more
- 51:13Speaker 1: question for you, though, Baby, tell me this, what is
- 51:15Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve And
- 51:23Speaker 1: now you have it. I'm gonna get that camping to
- 51:27Speaker 1: get that car that broke down. It ain't working, and
- 51:29Speaker 1: I'm getting that boat and I'm getting that all that's
- 51:32Speaker 1: coming out of y'all. I'm telling you, see you that
- 51:36Speaker 1: the boat is what was gonna cost you to your ass.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I love my daddy and my daddy he left me,
- 51:48Speaker 1: but one thing. I love my d You come in
- 51:51Speaker 1: in and touch this boat. Man were working on that car,
- 51:55Speaker 1: that camp the boat ain't I'm gonna tell you right
- 51:57Speaker 1: now back Steve, you were cracking, hey, but that brother decided.
- 52:05Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. I ain't
- 52:09Speaker 1: moving a blankety black how about nah? Not what you're
- 52:14Speaker 1: gonna do? A hood? Is that white lady? Cross street?
- 52:18Speaker 1: I know? Yeah? Who called on me that? Why ain't
- 52:20Speaker 1: cross the seat? I knew down the street bent head
- 52:28Speaker 1: eight months? Anybody said nothing body this boat. Hey, I
- 52:30Speaker 1: gotta come on that boat. I take that boat down.
- 52:33Speaker 1: That dropping didn't want. He worked just fine. Everybody has
- 52:36Speaker 1: got boats. Anybody said nothing. I tell you what. I
- 52:39Speaker 1: tell you what. I ain't moving a damn thing, not
- 52:42Speaker 1: what you're gonna do. What you're gonna do? Nah? Cool,
- 52:47Speaker 1: I stop all talking I like when black people get
- 52:50Speaker 1: feded up. Okay, you know what. I ain't doing nothing,
- 52:53Speaker 1: not what where we at? I mean, yo, call, I'm
- 52:58Speaker 1: telling you I'm not doing nothing, yea. And when black
- 53:01Speaker 1: people say where we are, that's it they at the end,
- 53:05Speaker 1: when we are now, And I tell you what, y'all.
- 53:10Speaker 1: I tell you what. I tell you what. I ain't
- 53:13Speaker 1: moving the damn thing, not what you're gonna do. Yeah,
- 53:18Speaker 1: let's cut all this talking out. He ain't nothing. Now
- 53:23Speaker 1: what you gonna do. Let's get to that far because
- 53:26Speaker 1: I'm already here. I already know what I'm gonna do.
- 53:28Speaker 1: I didn't even know what you're gonna through. Oh Man,
- 53:30Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter code up at the top of the hour.

- 53:45Speaker 1: or whatever else you going through, submit to Strawberry Letter
- 53:48Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey FM dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. Uck,
- 53:52Speaker 1: it's on you. Here we go. Subject. I'm married to
- 53:56Speaker 1: an escort, Dear Stephen Shelly. I've been for almost two years,
- 54:01Speaker 1: and I met my wife on the Dayton website. She
- 54:04Speaker 1: was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, and we
- 54:06Speaker 1: met in person and quickly fell in love. I came
- 54:10Speaker 1: with a little baggage and she admitted that she did too.
- 54:14Speaker 1: We're in our mid forties, so we agreed that our
- 54:18Speaker 1: past was the past, so that's where we leave it.
- 54:23Speaker 1: She works as a as a guest service manager at
- 54:26Speaker 1: an elite country club, so I can golf at the
- 54:29Speaker 1: club for free. The older wealthy men are very fond
- 54:34Speaker 1: of my wife and they often come in on how
- 54:36Speaker 1: lucky I am to have her. Well a week ago
- 54:39Speaker 1: I found out why the men loved my wife so much.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I was checking my emails one day, but my wife
- 54:45Speaker 1: had not logged out of her email account and a
- 54:49Speaker 1: notification popped up that she had a new message. The
- 54:53Speaker 1: preview of an email said, if you are free this weekend,
- 54:58Speaker 1: please call. I'm not a snooper, but I read the message.
- 55:04Speaker 1: It was from one of the executives at the country club.
- 55:08Speaker 1: He basically wanted to hire my wife to help him
- 55:10Speaker 1: host some of the influential businessmen that would be in
- 55:16Speaker 1: town golfing. He went on to say that he no,
- 55:19Speaker 1: she's no longer in the business, but he would pay
- 55:23Speaker 1: her well if she could help him out this last time.
- 55:27Speaker 1: I was shocked and I confronted her. She told me
- 55:32Speaker 1: that until three years ago, she was a professional escort,
- 55:37Speaker 1: and she did it in part while she worked at
- 55:39Speaker 1: the club, and she did it part time while she
- 55:42Speaker 1: worked at the club. She said sex was involved occasionally
- 55:46Speaker 1: if the price was right. She swore that it was
- 55:50Speaker 1: in the past and she'd never go back. She destroyed
- 55:54Speaker 1: that email accountant and called the man in front of
- 55:57Speaker 1: me to tell him no, I've asked her to quit
- 56:01Speaker 1: her job, but she refuses. Should I trust her since
- 56:05Speaker 1: she has totally excuse me? Should I trust her since
- 56:09Speaker 1: she was totally honest about it? Right? Wow? Is right? Steve?
- 56:14Speaker 1: All Right? Married for two years, you all are still
- 56:17Speaker 1: kind of newly was and you guys met on a
- 56:20Speaker 1: dating site and you said that she's the most beautiful
- 56:23Speaker 1: lady you've ever seen. Well, your wife works as a
- 56:28Speaker 1: guest service manager at an elite country club, and it's
- 56:31Speaker 1: cool for you. You get to golf for free, and
- 56:33Speaker 1: you found out that the older men at the country
- 56:35Speaker 1: club are fond of your wife. And then you found
- 56:38Speaker 1: an email where a country club executive asked your wife
- 56:42Speaker 1: if she could host some influential men in town for
- 56:46Speaker 1: golfing event and when you asked your wife about it,
- 56:49Speaker 1: and that's when she told you she used to be
- 56:52Speaker 1: a professional escort and she sometimes had sex, but she
- 56:58Speaker 1: was not about that life anymore. Finding out that your
- 57:02Speaker 1: wife was an escort, that's tough. That's wolf, that's tough. Now,
- 57:09Speaker 1: you both came into this relationship with baggage, and it's
- 57:13Speaker 1: typical in any relationship to have baggage, especially in your forties.
- 57:18Speaker 1: But with that being said, you did agree not to
- 57:22Speaker 1: bring up the past, so it's really not cool for
- 57:26Speaker 1: you not to trust her. She even called the guy
- 57:29Speaker 1: told him not to contact her anymore in front of you.
- 57:33Speaker 1: She said he was gave her an offer, but she
- 57:37Speaker 1: didn't accept it. So you have to take her word
- 57:41Speaker 1: that the past is in the past and that she's
- 57:44Speaker 1: not about that anymore. And I'm sure you have a
- 57:47Speaker 1: few skeletons that you haven't told her about in your past.
- 57:51Speaker 1: So at this point you either have to trust your
- 57:55Speaker 1: wife and stay with her if you really love her,
- 57:57Speaker 1: or if you can't get past her former life and
- 58:02Speaker 1: her former occupation. I don't know, you may have to.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's tough. That your wife used to be
- 58:09Speaker 1: an escort. I mean, that's tough, Steve. I ain't with
- 58:13Speaker 1: this hill. You better than me, Joe. I'm just gonna
- 58:17Speaker 1: be real with you. I can only answer this letter. Look, man, look,
- 58:22Speaker 1: first of all, I think you may have found a
- 58:25Speaker 1: beautiful person. I think you may have found the person
- 58:29Speaker 1: that you can make it to the cross, that you
- 58:32Speaker 1: can cross the finish line with it. You all all
- 58:35Speaker 1: in love with each other. You don't have trust issues.
- 58:38Speaker 1: You found the email. She admitted to it. Now you
- 58:41Speaker 1: and your mid forties, y'all agreed to leave your past
- 58:46Speaker 1: in the past. That's what y'all said. Email popped up.
- 58:51Speaker 1: You find out that your girl, the most beautiful girl
- 58:54Speaker 1: that you met on the website, found out she was
- 58:59Speaker 1: working at an escort and a lot of her business
- 59:02Speaker 1: came from the country club that she had. Now because
- 59:06Speaker 1: the dude that asked her to help him out this
- 59:09Speaker 1: weekend with some golfing people that's coming in town. And
- 59:13Speaker 1: I know you probably don't do this no more, but
- 59:15Speaker 1: I'm I'll pay you real well. Now, me, I can't
- 59:20Speaker 1: do this. I can't do this if you are going
- 59:25Speaker 1: to stay with this woman, and I think you should
- 59:27Speaker 1: because people change, everybody grows. She's admitted to what her
- 59:32Speaker 1: deal was. You said you came with some baggage. She said,
- 59:36Speaker 1: she came with some she'd found you and you didn't
- 59:39Speaker 1: found her. Now, the fact that you can play golf
- 59:42Speaker 1: for free, now now you that that that that that
- 59:48Speaker 1: can't be that big a perk. Now, so now they
- 59:52Speaker 1: still know and they all fastened that you found a
- 59:55Speaker 1: wonderful woman. You are lucky. Wait a minute, man partner, Yeah,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: how wonderful. Then she's admitted that sometimes this led to
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: sex if the price was right. We all know what
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: that is now. See. Yeah, So I'm gonna take commercial
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: breaks so you can think about what I just said.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Didn't get ready to drink what I'm about to Part
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: after the hour, will be right back. You're listening, all
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: right off Part two, let's three cap to day Strawberry
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: letter man. I'm married to an escort Well Broun, this
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: dude and found out in his mid forty's this woman
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: he met on the website. They fell in love, decided
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: to get married, and agreed that they He came with
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a little baggage and she did too, They agreed to lead.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: They passed in the past. He was opening up an
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: email one day, her email popped up notification somebody they
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: wanted her to hang out with this golf outing through
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the golf club that she works out and would pay
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her way healthy or no, you don't do this no more,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: but I will pay you well if you could just
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: help me out this one last time. So now here's
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: obviously this other man who's trying to seduce your wife
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: for one more time with a little extra money. Your
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: wife admits that she used to be an escort and
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: sometimes it resulted in sex if the price was right. Okay,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: So now that's your wife and you get to play
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: golf down there free now, and all the men down
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that telling you how lucky you are to have her. Well,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: here's a problem. Now. See she took the website down.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: She called the guy in front of you so she
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: could prove to you that she was changed. Okay, cool,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: great move by the sister. I ain't matter. People have passed,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: people make mistakes. But you've asked her to leave her job.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: She says she's not leaving her job. Now that's where
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: we got the problem at because at this point, I'm
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: gonna need all these ties cut because I can. I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: can deal with not bringing up your pass, but your
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: past can't keep coming up in my face either. And
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: if I'm down at the country club now, I don't
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: know who you'dn't been with. I don't know who trying
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to solicit you. I don't know who if they're trying
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: to coach you one more week in all this here,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: And you know how men are, men are competitive. I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: know you don't do this no more, but just one
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: more time, I'll ducking your fee. I'll triple your feet. See,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: you can't even be talking to my girl like that,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and she's not fit to entertaining. So the problem that
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you have, brother is and it's a male problem. Your
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: ego is in it now. And I can't tell you
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: that mine wouldn't coach. Mine would be so now. But
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you have to leave this job because the only reason
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you became an escort is because you was available down
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: there at that job. Now you give up the escort part,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: but you want to keep the job. See that's why
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: it gets a little sticky for me. I damn sure
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: don't want to play golf down here no more. For free. Right,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: let me just go and get the two sixty five
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: and go somewhere else and play. Now. Bro, look, man,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I don't think you should leave your girl. I think
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: it's something y'all can work through. But I think everybody
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: need to take a fresh start because the past and
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: popped up. Now it ain't stay there. That's the problem
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: with sin. Sin cost you more than you want to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: pay and make you stay longer than you want to stay.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: All sin has that rule. It comes with it. Every
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: sin I've ever committed costed me more than I wanted
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: to pay and made me stay in it longer than
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I wanted to stay. Every single time. Ain't no free sin.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: So now that's the prostrd Jesus man. But you have
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: to back and went back and then I ain't gonna
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: like same mistakes. Just keep saying this is my last term.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: This just just let me get this one out to wait.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Jesus forgive me. Yes, I know not. She won't leave
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the job. The past don't get to stay that. Yeah. See,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I think what they need to do, these two people
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: in their men for the need to get theirselfs a
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: fresh start. Yeah, so she needs to compromise with her
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: husband and leave the job. I got you ain't got
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: the website, but I just saw it this, just this
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: few days ago. I got you. Don't do that no more.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: But but a man just asked you down there, would
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: you do it one more time? Yea? Now, since everybody
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: down there know your escort, I'm married to the damn escort.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Everybody telling me how lucky I am, How the hell
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I'm lucky to have your hooker harder. That's tough, No man,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: that's that's that's tough. So but bro, listen to me.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: This ain't no thing that's all over town. You can
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: get past this. But I think everybody needs a fresh start.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And I think once you set your wife down and say, hey, look,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: this is causing me a lot of anxiety. Here is
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: causing me a lot of a lot of bad feelings.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: My male ego is crushed because I love you and
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I love you as you are, but I cannot face this,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna be on my male ego can't
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: deal with it. Who his job is that important to you?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: You know who else? No, If your job is that
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: important to you, then maybe your job is more important
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: than me. And I don't want to make you have
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: to pick between the two. But that's really where we at.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: If it's something I was doing that was making you
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: so uncomfortable that it made you unhappy, I would I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: would understand if you put the ultimatum in front of me,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: because I just here where we go? You do you
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: know anybody in here? I get to having a good time?
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: You know anybody in here? I don't think I'm that guy.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I don't think I can do it. Yeah, that's you.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You meaning you don't think that you could get past
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: her because everybody everywhere I go, I'll be sitting at
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: the dinner table. What he looking over here for? Yeah? Man,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: yeah it is man. I said, hey, miss Jackson, how
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: you doing here? He knows? Yeah. Post your comments on
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: today's straw Steve Harvey film on Instagram and Facebook, and
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: the band coming up at forty six after the hour.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Our girl from the Talk Sheryl Underwood. Right after this,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, um, she here?
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: You know anybody playing with y'all? A char road, Steve Rod,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: You notice my bullet into duce me to y'all you've
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: been asking about you. You've been asking, Oh, I gotta
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: plan Tommy. Okay, So y'all know that Gail and Oprah's
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: is quarantine in together, right right? Yeah, Steve me and
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: you could quarantine together. You got enough house, your wife
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: and we quarantine. Ain't nobody coming over here, don't give
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: damn if you got a mask rest for you can
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: come over here on a ventilator. She did not let
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you over this. Ain't get need I'm coming. I'm coming.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna roll up on the amberland own a ventilator. Yeah,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: saint getting in here, don't see listen. I believe we
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: can have a good time quarantine in the gather. We
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: could talk politics because you know your frat brother, Royce
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: West he running for Senate and if he win the runoff,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: he get to go up against John Cronin. So everybody
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: got to vote Colin Farrell's earth. Yes, that's technicals. July
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to ten is the end of early voting, but election
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: day is July fourteen, So omegas, I find everybody got
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: to get together and Royce's our choice, and Steve Me
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and you can talk about that how we're gonna help
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: this brother. That's how that's what we're gonna do in quarantine.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: We could watch TV together. You know what we could do, Steve,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: You know what we could do. We could get pay
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: per view, Like I just did this show called Funk
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Corona's Fu and K Tommy. I had to practice it
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: because yet but it's Funk Corona. I'm hosting it. I
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: didn't even hear that. I know. See I heard what
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: she said, and that's why I am right. But I'm
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: hosting it with a dude named DJ Gazelle. It's like
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Gazelle's with a DJ Kessell and it's the original Mary
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Jane Girls, Max and Sherry. Then we got ready for
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the world baby Flip Fisticus, slide over to knock all
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: the good cuts that me and Junior cut and everything.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Then we got cameo. They gonna they killed it. They
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: killed it. And then more it's day in the time
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: and it's July and it's a pay per view party
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: at the distance, So Steve, you could get the snacks
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: and everything. Me and Junior will be in the house
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: and then you won't even see us get together with
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: sneak down what old Me and with the president of
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: the Center for the z control. Anybody coming to Marjorie
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: is not playing him. Why can't stay in the outside house,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: y'all got a whole nother house connected to a junior
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: can stay down? Coming over? You can't coming over here.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I jump your fish, I swear, jump your fist. I'm
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: gonna get your dogs dogs ass over here. Shot and
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I be then caught that bullet in my get out
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: of here Underwoodity update right after this. You're listening, all right, Tommy,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: introduce your girl. It's that time, everybody, she is here.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: It's that time, carl A Fowl with what reality update?
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: All right? Thinking that you not much to report or
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: to talk about. But I do like the show Ti
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: and Tiny Friends and family Hustle. I love that show.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: So the season finale, Red was supposed to propose to LaToya. Now,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: if you guys don't know, I know you guys may
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: not have seen the show. But LaToya, you know she's
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: been married twice, and you know her first marriage was
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: to Little Wayne, and you know they share a daughter, Rogene.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: We love her. So anyway, Toya, she's been married twice,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: and she admitted that she didn't want to get married again.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: But LaToya Red. They have a baby together, beautiful baby
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: girl Rain and she's just so cute. Anyway, she changed
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: her mind she wanted to get married. So Red, he
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: was so romantic, got a helicopter, flewor all over Atlanta
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: rooftop proposal, surprised her with an engagement party with Monica Ti, Toya,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Lucket and Tiny and all of them. So that was
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: really really nice. And it's cool just to see black
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: love and a couple just you know, trying to bring
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: their family together. And Red is a good family man.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: He went to her daughter Rajani and said, I want
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to marry your mother. He's just a good guy. He
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: told lay To, yeah, to get with her father because
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: she's had, you know, issues with her father, and he said,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you know what, life is short, you need to have
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: a relationship with her father. And so he's just a
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: really cool dude. So I like to see that black love,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: black family, something positive, you know. Going on with the show.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: All right, moving on, I'm married to medicine La. This
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: is another reality show. Sad to see the psychiatrists on
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: the show, Doctor Armani. Her and her husband are getting
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: a divorce and now, yeah, I love it. Junior and Steve,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you always always think about this. You always say that
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: when you put your marriage on reality shows, it is
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: it's hard to survive it. Yes, I just I've watched
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: it over and over and over again. Yeah, and because
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: you can't work your problems out alone. Right. The one
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: thing that I finally had to figure out about marriage
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: is that marriage, when you marry a woman, you make
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: a two handed circle. Don't put the kids in the circle.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: In laws can't get in the circle, and the public
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: can't get in the circle. Yes, y'all see just y'all
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: it's a two handed circle. Y'all look at each other,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: and if it go wrong, y'all holding hands. If it
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: go right. So what happens with these reality shows is
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you invite people into your world. And reality shows operate
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: off social media. Yeah, that's where they get their storylines from.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: That's what keeps it going. That's how they That's the
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: feeding ground, man, That's exactly right. And so now here
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: comes your marriage goes into what Tommy just called it,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: the feeding ground. And now your marriage is in the
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: feeding ground. You can't survive that. Yeah, yeah, it is
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: really bad. And on this show, these are some of
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: the women on the show. They are doctors there. I'm
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: gonna buy some of this a cream I've been watching
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: on TV and throw that out there because you mentioned it.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Doctor your right now, I ain't got no bags under
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: my eyes. Put it on my lips and my love.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Since we're talking about marriage and metalhead, we shout down
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: medicine right, Jasmine and her husband. You never get to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: see this woman is married to a doctor. You never
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: This doctor does not want to be on the show.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: This brother, we have not seen him. She talks about
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: her husband. She said he is very private and she
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: has not. He has not been on the show. He
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: doesn't want to be. He's making real money, damn show. Nope,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: he does not want to be on their But rumor
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: has it we might see him on the season finale.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: So I'm gonna watch Married to Medicine, LA and check
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: it out and shout out. Some of my favorite shows
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: are Back The Shy on Showtime, green Leaf on All
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: we Got. We gotta support these shows and I'm out.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: You can hit me up at Lips by Carlos on
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: social media on The Graham and we can talk about
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: it more. We'll be back Junior at what time, sir,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: we'll be back at twenty minutes after the hour. I
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: believe we'll be back. You're listening, all right, Califarell tell
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: me something good. What's what's going on? Well? Have you guys?
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: This is a this is a good hero story. You know,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: if you guys alone, you're not gonna see Rile All
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Timmy songs is in the same Yeah, where I can go. Yeah,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: anyway about this hero nephew. This is a viral video
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: of this X Marine and ex college football player. His
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: name is Philip Blanks. He saw a nearby apartment on
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: fire and the mother through this. Yeah, this was in Arizona,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and the mother threw her three year old son over
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the balconymartment. Yes and Banks, this guy, he ran and
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: caught the young boy and rushed the child to safety.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: But it's so sad the mother tragically she passed away
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: from the fire kids. Yes, Yes, and Philip Banks, he
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: was on the local news in the Arizona area and
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: he said that she she was the real hero because
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: she made the ultimate sacrifice to save her children. And
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I saw the video on social media and I'm like,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: oh my god, I can't watch stuff like that. Man,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: he was a hero. Just ran it. He caught the baby,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Steve three of them. Oh man, thank you, mister Banks.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: We sure appreciate you. Man more the Steve Harden Morning
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Show and Tren the News at thirty three minutes after
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: the hour you're listening to. Okay, Carlos, So what's going
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: on with this with this birdwatching not cooperate with? Well, Junior,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: you guys remember Central Park Karen, her real name is
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Amy Cooper, the white woman who called the police on
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: the black man or was a bird watcher who asked
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: her to leash her dog in New York Central Park.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: You know, she has now been charged with falsely reporting
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: the incident in the third degree, which are you know,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: misdemeanor chargers, and if convicted, she could serve up to
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: a year in jail. But anyway, the however, the man,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the bird watcher, go ahead and see they're not sending
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: a white woman to jail for calling on a black dude.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: That's not that's a little bits states of this America.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Go ahead. I didn't know Negroes was birdwatching. That's my
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: first that's my first black bird watching experience. But now
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: you know, don't I ain't know it was bird watched
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I was. You know, it's a layers to the story,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: but I'm just gonna sending a white woman to jail
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: for a year for calling on black person. Go ahead calling, Okay,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: So here we go. So, however, the man and the
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: bird watcher Tommy Christian Cooper, that's his name, and her
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: name is Amy Cooper, no relation, but anyway, who she
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: called the cops on Christian Cooper. He told The New
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: York Times that he feels that Amy Cooper has suffered
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: enough and he's not cooperating. But he did say, mister Cooper,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Christian Cooper, he did say that he understands the principle
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: of it all and if the DA needs to pursue
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: the chargers, then he should. He's just not born to
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: cooperate because hell yeah, he feels like she's suffered enough.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: She her reputation, she lost her career. So that's his pointing.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: So he says, oh, man, look, look, I ain't man
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: it to do you know, Yeah, I mean, you know,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: I mean lesson learned. I mean, what else you gonna
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: do to it? You know, I'm not that's his point. Yeah,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: that's his point. She suffered enough, she lost her job,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: she lost her job. I mean, you know, she got
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: beat up on social media. Tried to you try to
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: do something that didn't work. You bought attention to a cause.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I'm through with it. But you know what, Steve, A
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: lot of people are looking at the fact that this
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: could have gone left in it. It could have been deadly,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: could have got killed. Absolutely. Now I want y'all look
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: at the other side. Now, I'm just throwing this out
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: there for you to consider. I know, I if I'm
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: the buried, watching which is which not? But go ahead.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: But if you were in the park, I can't go
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: down to the court what you s You know, I
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: ain't no telling what come up on my past. But
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you're the victim in this situation that they're gonna pull
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: records in there flipping Yeah yeah, you know, you know,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: bro might be knowing here. I don't need no more
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: this here. Let's just let by gonna be and don't
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: need everybody need to go into my past. Oh I
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: ain't always been the bird. Watch him. Coming up next
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: is the last break of the day for them. Nine
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, okay, everybody, when we have
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: the last break of the day. Yeah, busy Thursday. We
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: got a lot done, talked about a lot, right, you
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: know something fairly in Monica on vacation. They need to
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: hear him get backward too. Why just saying it? Just
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: hating they all because this time of the year, I'm
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: normally on vacation, right Mediterranean, normally this time. Yeah, but
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: there's so much going on. I decided, you know, this year,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I would just stay here and just try to well
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: captain the ship. Thanks to your president, Americas can't go
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: to your reprety. That's really why I'm on the radio
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: beyond Switch. If Kanye was president, we'd probably be able
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: to go somewhere. You know what I'm saying, Yeah, quiet, yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: let me say this. You know this election is important. Um.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: I like Kanye West, I really do. I think it's
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: a cool dude. Do I think he's qualified to be president?
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Not yet? Absolutely not. Do I think we have time
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: for anything that resembles a publicity stunt, Absolutely not. I'm
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, y'all. I'm a comedian. The basis
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: of my entire career has been comedy. Now I have
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: branches and levels to this. While I've become tried to
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: become more motivational as I've gotten older, to try to
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: inspire people in their own walk that maybe they could
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: see something in my walk that inspires him in their walk.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: So I got that. But at the basics, at the
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: basis of my career, my gift that God gave me
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: was comedy, and it's given me an incredible life. But
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: this election ain't funny. These are serious times we're dealing
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: with and I don't have time for anybody to come
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: along and have a whim that they want to be president.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: This is business. We're talking now, and I'm gonna tell
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you something, folks. This show me Shirley, Carla Junior, Tommy
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Jay Monarcha, we talk about it on a daily basis.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: We actually care about the condition of our people and
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: the condition of the country that our people try to
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: reside in. We also care about all people because we
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: are all intertwined. We're connected. You may not want to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: agree with it, or understand it, or admit to it,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: but we're all connected. COVID has proven that, see for
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: the first time, everybody in the world has the exact
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: same problem that they have to grapple with. And if
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: we don't get it together over here, it can get
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: unfixed over there, and if they don't fix it over there,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it can come over here. Because this pandemic, this disease,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: it don't have borders. It don't care nothing about your ratio, gender,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: your sexual preference. It don't care about your education level.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: It don't care about none of that. It's just rolling.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: It's just rolling. And the almighty Great United States has
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: probably botched this about as bad as you can botch something.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: The way we've handled this coronavirus. It is appalling what
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: we have done. And we're supposedly the Great United States.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Career got a better record than we got at this.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: China got a better record than we got at this.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Italy recovered and is doing much better than we are.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Every body's doing better than the United States. We lead
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: the world in death, and we lead the world in cases,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: and we able full percent of the world population. If
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: you don't think this is from lack of government management,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: If you don't think this is a direct result of
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: poor leadership, something's wrong with you. And this type of
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: thing that we discuss every day. What did Donald Trump
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: do today? What did he say today? Well, he says
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: a lot all the time. Every time he comes out
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: against somebody. It's a minority of some kind. It's Bubba Wallace,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: it's the Black Lives Matter, it's good people on both sides.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: It's Colin Kaepernick. It's always somebody. He tries to make
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: a cause out of something. Everything. He's not mentioned one
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: single word to make the oppress feel better. He has
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: not one word of consolance for the people of Black
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Lives Matter. And now he's sitting up here trying to
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: play like the COVID ninety nine percent of the cases
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: are harmless. Try to tell that to one hundred and
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: fifty some thousand people who have lost their loved ones
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: in this country. Try to tell them how serious it ain't.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Try to tell them how harmless the virus is. Go ahead,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: mister president, keep selling it. Keep selling these lies and
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: false tickets so you can be elected. The truth of
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: the matter is the reason why he really has to
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: win this election is because he will no longer if
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: he don't win, be a sitting president, and all the
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: laws that you can't indict a sitting president that's gonna
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: go to hell after that. I don't know what to
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: say to people to get you involved in the voting process,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: but I'm gonna keep saying it every day. I'm not
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: gonna miss no days. We have got to vote. We
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: are not gonna sit at home like we did last
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: ass election. He's the president now because we set home.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Listen to me, African Americans, you can determine the presidency.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: All you have to do is vote. Be mad enough
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: to vote. You're mad enough to march. Let's be mad
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: enough to vote. You're mad enough in how they've been
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: doing black people all these years. Be mad enough to vote.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: You're mad enough not being able to travel. Be mad
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: enough to vote. You're mad enough because he's trying to
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: force you to send your kids down to school, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: it ain't even safe when his kids ain't gonna go nowhere,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: no damn public school. Be mad enough to vote. We're voting.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: We're gonna end this in November, and then I don't
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: care what he said. We're voting now. Quit playing with this.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: That's my damn closing remarks. Yeah, Kanye, and he needed
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: to quit playing to set your ass down for all.
