- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water ya come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your backdat it? Uh huh? I sure will
- 2:03Speaker 1: come on everybody, y'all listen to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey. Uh how
- 2:10Speaker 1: the radio show yep, yep? Sometimes saw all I can
- 2:17Speaker 1: say yelp, Man, how far I've come is really unbelievable.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But you know I finally figured it out. Man. God
- 2:27Speaker 1: allowed me to have the life I've had so that
- 2:31Speaker 1: I can become experienced at so many different things. And
- 2:36Speaker 1: then this experience when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:40Speaker 1: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:42Speaker 1: different circumstances, not exact, but just the circumstances. You know.
- 2:47Speaker 1: You know if a person comes to me and they say, man,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've been down and out, Okay, well I know what
- 2:51Speaker 1: that is? Man, I didn't I didn't have any direction. Okay,
- 2:56Speaker 1: got that been there? Man at one point in time, Man,
- 2:59Speaker 1: I just kept pile a mistake on top of mistakes. Okay.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So you know, I think what I'm trying to say
- 3:09Speaker 1: to everybody is when you're going through life and life
- 3:13Speaker 1: is dealing the cards that it deals, I want you
- 3:16Speaker 1: to understand that life deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card,
- 3:23Speaker 1: the setback card, the failure card, the mishap card, the
- 3:30Speaker 1: unexpected misery card. Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody
- 3:36Speaker 1: gonna get, the rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna
- 3:40Speaker 1: get them. Understand that going in that everybody is gonna
- 3:46Speaker 1: get these cards. It's how you play them, though, you know,
- 3:54Speaker 1: from time to time, one more time, it's how you
- 3:56Speaker 1: play them, you know. From time to time when I'm
- 3:59Speaker 1: watching TV, I love to watch the World Series of Poker.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's
- 4:08Speaker 1: really weird, what's happened to a sport? To a poker?
- 4:12Speaker 1: They're actually trying to call it a sport, you know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: And as the everyday guy that doesn't have to be
- 4:18Speaker 1: athletically inclined to anything who has a shot of winning
- 4:23Speaker 1: a title if they play their cards right. The best
- 4:28Speaker 1: poker players in the world don't have the best hands,
- 4:33Speaker 1: They just make the best plays. I've seen guys win
- 4:38Speaker 1: a hand with nine two in their hand as nothing
- 4:41Speaker 1: and win their hand because they knew the bluff, they
- 4:45Speaker 1: knew the odds, they calculated risks, they made the stakes
- 4:50Speaker 1: higher than the other person was willing to pay. They
- 4:53Speaker 1: gave off the illusion that they had something with an actuality.
- 4:58Speaker 1: They had nothing. So what I what I enjoy about
- 5:03Speaker 1: poker and watching it is that these people, these people here,
- 5:08Speaker 1: played the hand they dealt, and it ain't always a
- 5:12Speaker 1: good hand. But it ain't whether your hand is good.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And it ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards
- 5:17Speaker 1: or not. Because you're gonna get dealt some bad cards.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gonna get two bullets in their hand. You
- 5:22Speaker 1: ain't gonna get two aces when you get dealt. Uh.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You know, when you play a draw poker, some of
- 5:27Speaker 1: your cards gonna be nothing. But you got to turn
- 5:30Speaker 1: that nothing into something. So when you get dealt these
- 5:33Speaker 1: cards in life, it ain't the fact that you get
- 5:35Speaker 1: keep getting them dealt I was talking with a young
- 5:37Speaker 1: person yesterday and we were talking and we keep having
- 5:41Speaker 1: the same conversation over and over and over, and they
- 5:44Speaker 1: could not understand why they were not moving forward. But
- 5:47Speaker 1: I said, you don't understand. Every time we talk we
- 5:50Speaker 1: have the exact same conversation. It is simply because you
- 5:55Speaker 1: keep getting your cards and you playing them the same way. See,
- 6:00Speaker 1: until you make a conscientious different, the conscious decision to
- 6:05Speaker 1: do something different, the results will continue to be the same.
- 6:10Speaker 1: See here's the way this works. When you're dealt to
- 6:16Speaker 1: disappointments in life, it's how you handle the disappointments that
- 6:21Speaker 1: determine the outcome and who you are. Because everybody gonna
- 6:25Speaker 1: be disappointment. Everybody gonna lose a love one, Everybody gonna
- 6:28Speaker 1: make a bad decision. Everybody gonna end wake up one
- 6:31Speaker 1: morning they have done something they regretted. Everybody gonna get
- 6:34Speaker 1: caught at the wrong time. Every everybody gonna make a mistake.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It ain't just you. That is how you play your
- 6:41Speaker 1: cards when they get dealt to you. That determine who
- 6:44Speaker 1: you are. Na how do I play my cards better?
- 6:47Speaker 1: First of all, it's a mindset. Quit looking at everything
- 6:51Speaker 1: as just the end when it happens to you. Oh lord,
- 6:55Speaker 1: woe is me? Nah, everybody got your circumstances somewhere. It
- 7:01Speaker 1: ain't old. Woe is me. It's hold on, man, Okay,
- 7:04Speaker 1: let me play this out to see how God then
- 7:07Speaker 1: connected this to something else. See. As soon as a
- 7:09Speaker 1: person have a setback, what's the first thing A lot
- 7:11Speaker 1: of people do, they go straight negative. I can't see
- 7:14Speaker 1: him to get a break. I can't see him move forward.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Hold on, man, do you realize this could be connected
- 7:19Speaker 1: to something? See, you got to understand, man, that this
- 7:23Speaker 1: thing is all connected. That you're not having these mishaps
- 7:26Speaker 1: and these spills and accidents and falls for no reason.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's so you can become experienced at them. So when
- 7:33Speaker 1: he takes you to the next level, when it happens again,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you have no how and how to handle it. If
- 7:38Speaker 1: you keep throwing yourself off the cliff every time something happened,
- 7:42Speaker 1: you're just gonna be a cliff diver. Man, Stop tripping
- 7:45Speaker 1: yourself out. I was talking to this young person, I
- 7:48Speaker 1: kept saying, and you know what they try to tell me.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to stay positive, but the people around here,
- 7:54Speaker 1: they're just killing that. Oh I see So when you
- 7:58Speaker 1: learn something and you know something, you don't take ownership
- 8:02Speaker 1: of it. You allow other people to come into what
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know and believe and shake it loose from you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. You're not doing me
- 8:10Speaker 1: like that. Here's a deal. I have a gift that
- 8:13Speaker 1: was given to me from God. That is the gift
- 8:15Speaker 1: of comedy. That's what I've done. I've made the bulk
- 8:18Speaker 1: of my living on that skill set. Right there. That
- 8:22Speaker 1: are comedians who are supposedly friends of mine, who I've
- 8:25Speaker 1: worked with, who get around in huddles with one another
- 8:28Speaker 1: and they say, man, Steve really ain't funny. I don't
- 8:31Speaker 1: see what they'd be laughing at. He ain't funny to me.
- 8:34Speaker 1: He wasn't the funniest king to me. Excuse me, you're
- 8:38Speaker 1: irrelevant in this conversation because it regardless as to how
- 8:42Speaker 1: you feel about me. That are people think that I'm
- 8:45Speaker 1: knocked down kill over funny. But more importantly, I own
- 8:49Speaker 1: the gift that God gave to me. I take ownership
- 8:52Speaker 1: of his blessing. Because you don't think it, so, you
- 8:55Speaker 1: ain't taking that from me. Stop letting people steal your joy,
- 9:00Speaker 1: letting people take what you're supposed to know. Look, I'm
- 9:04Speaker 1: a I'm a I'm a I'm a kind person at heart. Man.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You ain't nothing now, you said if it're going, Man,
- 9:10Speaker 1: I guess I ain't what you're tripping for. You are
- 9:13Speaker 1: a kind person, own that take ownership of it. Stop
- 9:18Speaker 1: letting things God has given you be taken away from others.
- 9:23Speaker 1: The devil is a cold player, and he got cold
- 9:25Speaker 1: players working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker. Man.
- 9:36Speaker 1: They came in here and said I was stupid. Man,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:41Speaker 1: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership. When
- 9:45Speaker 1: God gives you something, blesses you would have gifted talent,
- 9:48Speaker 1: a skill set, a mindset. Own it. Don't let people
- 9:52Speaker 1: come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't do with it. You're listening show, Ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, Boys and girls, Welcome to the Steve Harvey

- 13:47Speaker 1: it is that time, junior. You're ready? Absolutely, is everybody ready? Yes,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I'm a rough room. I mean, I'm in it. Let
- 14:06Speaker 1: me just tell y'all something here. I was. I'm doing
- 14:08Speaker 1: something different this week because I'm growing as an artist,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and so I saw something bad. I saw something definitely
- 14:18Speaker 1: traumatic go on, and it changed my thought process. I
- 14:22Speaker 1: saw some coffee waste a Starbucks, and it decided pushed
- 14:25Speaker 1: me actually into writing limericks. So you're not doing poems, No, No,
- 14:29Speaker 1: this is limericks. Hit myself. I need to be doing
- 14:33Speaker 1: limits and I too. Yeah. Yeah. And for those out
- 14:38Speaker 1: that they don't know what limerick is, a limerick is
- 14:40Speaker 1: just a short story about an individual. It's real quick.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Three weeks so I changed over limericks and I just
- 14:53Speaker 1: found like the growth, Thank you, thank you, Ja. And
- 14:56Speaker 1: so I just wrote some limrics about sure to you, Jay,
- 14:59Speaker 1: Tommy and Carlin. Yeah, I just because I know y'all.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Let me start with Tommy. The limerick about Tommy. There
- 15:09Speaker 1: once was a man name Tommy who walked around in
- 15:14Speaker 1: nice silk put jammies. He was quick to get mad
- 15:18Speaker 1: and then turned back. Lad. Oh Tommy is like a suona, okay.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And I like to do one about my good friend
- 15:36Speaker 1: Jay Anthony Brown. Grown to know Jay. Working with Jay
- 15:39Speaker 1: on a daily basis, I've grown to know him and
- 15:41Speaker 1: this is what I found out. Okay. There once was
- 15:46Speaker 1: a man named Jake who had diabetes that would not
- 15:51Speaker 1: go away. He could not eat sweets, but he might
- 15:55Speaker 1: lose his seats. But Stevey at this one by Carla,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I do this one like that one. I love my faith.
- 16:19Speaker 1: There was was a lady named Carla on the Steve Show.
- 16:23Speaker 1: She is the baller. She keeps it so straight and
- 16:26Speaker 1: well up to date. But Carlor sometimes like the holl on.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I know everybody's been waiting on this, when this is
- 16:38Speaker 1: what I've been waiting to do. Come on, Shirley. Oh Shirley,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and I love you, says, I really do. You probably
- 16:46Speaker 1: will pick across. But what there was was a lady
- 16:51Speaker 1: named Shirley. She is real boogie and girly. She keeps
- 16:56Speaker 1: Steve real straight and she loves her mate. But Shirley,
- 16:59Speaker 1: don't come into early those are time is again. There's
- 17:14Speaker 1: once was a man named Timming who walked around and
- 17:18Speaker 1: silk Pajohn. He was quick to get mad and then
- 17:22Speaker 1: turn back glad, oh Timmy, like we don't know what
- 17:29Speaker 1: we're being again, day y'all? Uh huh, all right, thank you.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Now we're gonna go from Junior's limics that were limits
- 17:40Speaker 1: that were very good, Junior, Steve with explain your segments,
- 17:46Speaker 1: Steve these listen. I'm gonna do is you know things
- 17:49Speaker 1: that that's cold for the things people say, and you
- 17:54Speaker 1: got to know how to read what they're saying, because
- 17:56Speaker 1: it's really a cold. You know, they say one thing,
- 17:59Speaker 1: but that what it really means. It's so so I'm
- 18:02Speaker 1: gonna call this this segment is called cold cracking. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: you've always been a crack cracker. Yeah, alright, So Shirley,
- 18:12Speaker 1: could you do me a favor? Yes? Do you have
- 18:15Speaker 1: one of these? I do? Uh? You say the first
- 18:20Speaker 1: line and you'll crack the crack. Okay, like if a
- 18:24Speaker 1: person says I'm in between jobs work especially take No,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I don't know. Here's another one, Steve, I don't really
- 18:43Speaker 1: watch TV cable, got that cold? You don't watch football?
- 18:57Speaker 1: You watch? Yeah? All right, I know about this one
- 19:03Speaker 1: when you hear a lady say, this is my favorite person,
- 19:11Speaker 1: been there, got that on, my favorite favorite About this one, Steve,
- 19:24Speaker 1: we've decided to see other people? Yeah yeah, he just
- 19:28Speaker 1: walked out on walked right out. He been seeing you
- 19:36Speaker 1: just got the member. We decide he'd been seeing somebody else.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Oh man, Okay, here goes one. I don't really like
- 19:45Speaker 1: a lot of company. They stay with that mom exactly
- 19:50Speaker 1: what that means? You know. I just tried to think
- 19:56Speaker 1: as quick as I can. Okay, Um, yeah, I like
- 20:01Speaker 1: to take walks, you know, because when he takes walks,
- 20:03Speaker 1: you get to see him. They ain't got no damn call.
- 20:08Speaker 1: How you like to walk downtime? The hell likes to
- 20:15Speaker 1: walk down? Okay, how about this one? Uh, they're tripping
- 20:23Speaker 1: down at my job. They tripping down at my job.
- 20:29Speaker 1: You got five? All right, you want it? Okay, we
- 20:41Speaker 1: gotta go. That was good, though, Steve, that was really
- 20:43Speaker 1: good walking down the hell. You know they took off then, Okay,
- 20:57Speaker 1: we'll be back. You're listening Steve Morning Show right now.
- 21:02Speaker 1: The nephew is here to run that brank back. What
- 21:04Speaker 1: you got for his nap? The wedding style is the
- 21:08Speaker 1: weddings style like style. No, it is wedding style. Oh

- 21:44Speaker 1: there to do your hair for the wedding. Hey, how
- 21:45Speaker 1: you last? Uh? No, I do have a bit of
- 21:48Speaker 1: just there's something that has come up and I kind
- 21:51Speaker 1: of need to discuss some things with you. Are you

- 22:35Speaker 1: that's not what I want. I need you here to
- 22:38Speaker 1: do my hair. I have no one here to do
- 22:39Speaker 1: my hair. I've already paid you. I understand this, dear.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Calm down, listen, this is what I want to do. Okay.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I do have someone that I can send that as
- 22:48Speaker 1: going to do an outstanding job for you. Okay, but
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm not. I've gotten into a spat with Oliver, and
- 22:55Speaker 1: I just what's it's a very hair is Oliver. Oliver
- 23:00Speaker 1: is my friend, and we've got you're kidding me. It's
- 23:03Speaker 1: been a serious, serious, serious blow up. This is the
- 23:06Speaker 1: most important day of my life, and you're not coming
- 23:09Speaker 1: to do my hair. You're not taking care of your
- 23:11Speaker 1: business because you've gotten into a fight with your boyfriend. Listen,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go back and forth with you about this.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I've been god, I have argued with him all night.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm not going to go back and forth and argue
- 23:19Speaker 1: with you as well. Yeah, I have to argue with
- 23:21Speaker 1: me when I need it for you to be here,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I understand that, and I'm going to send someone there.
- 23:26Speaker 1: And one of the most unprofessional stylists I have ever
- 23:29Speaker 1: met in my life. I cannot even believe you're doing this. Listen,
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to deal with you on a professional level,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but you're not because you're not here. I understand that,
- 23:38Speaker 1: and I'm not trying to to to reign on your parade.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And my professionalism went out the window when you call

- 35:47Speaker 1: You want to hear these and then you give it yours,
- 35:49Speaker 1: all right. They don't believe they're good enough, so they'll lie.
- 35:55Speaker 1: If they think of love, of dating, and of relationships
- 35:58Speaker 1: as a game. They they just don't know any better,
- 36:01Speaker 1: so they lie. Yeah, I'm lying. I'm not I'm lying.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna lie. Yeah, and I know you guys have
- 36:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell you I want to be with you. Yeah.
- 36:12Speaker 1: That's just three reasons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, those are the
- 36:14Speaker 1: three main ones. They don't believe they're good enough. They
- 36:17Speaker 1: think of it as a game, and they just simply
- 36:20Speaker 1: do not see. It's not that you don't thank you
- 36:22Speaker 1: good enough. You're just making show you good enough. Build
- 36:27Speaker 1: it up. Oh yeah, No, it ain't that you don't

- 36:54Speaker 1: got this job, so I'm on pace. Yeah, my bonus
- 36:57Speaker 1: check at the end of ye be three hundreds nothing.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Because they think it's a game. They just think, you know, dating,
- 37:11Speaker 1: loving relationships. They think of it as a game. It's
- 37:14Speaker 1: just a game. So well, for guys in the throwback business,
- 37:17Speaker 1: it is a game. What do you mean? Some girls
- 37:19Speaker 1: into it for game too. They just want to see
- 37:22Speaker 1: if they can run their little situation and make it
- 37:24Speaker 1: work out. You know. And a lot of women are
- 37:26Speaker 1: playing the game now, so a lot of people do
- 37:29Speaker 1: think it's a game. It sounds to me like you're
- 37:31Speaker 1: justifying all this line that you No, I'm not justifying nothing,
- 37:35Speaker 1: but a lot of people think it's a game. Me
- 37:37Speaker 1: and and women now treat dating like a game. That's
- 37:40Speaker 1: why so many that's why families just broken the air.
- 37:43Speaker 1: But everything jacked up now because TV show Man that catfish.

- 39:23Speaker 1: say how good we are? We take from that? All right,
- 39:25Speaker 1: let's go put all right, here we go. Here are
- 39:28Speaker 1: the subjects. Number one, the deltas ain't all that you
- 39:41Speaker 1: just just read us that read that. Number two, your
- 39:45Speaker 1: car smells funny. That's a good one. Never number three.
- 39:50Speaker 1: You try to act like you don't know nobody. Alright, alright.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Never number four. People who let their new positions to
- 40:00Speaker 1: their heads. That's the real one, now, yeah, and then
- 40:03Speaker 1: and then number five skycats spend the wheel, put them up,
- 40:06Speaker 1: spending the wheel catt for people who let their new
- 40:21Speaker 1: positions go to their head and have Let me start
- 40:24Speaker 1: off right, man. You know the people who get just
- 40:26Speaker 1: a little small lass name tag on their dove, ain't
- 40:30Speaker 1: never had one, And all of them sudden they bidding
- 40:33Speaker 1: you just because they got a name tag. They're a

- 53:51Speaker 1: Is he my kids daddy or granddaddy? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:56Speaker 1: As nephew Tommy would say, buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:59Speaker 1: He just said for real this time. There's no easy
- 54:03Speaker 1: way to explain my situation. I am a twenty eight
- 54:06Speaker 1: year old married woman. I married my high school sweetheart
- 54:09Speaker 1: and we have six kids. But I'm not sure who
- 54:12Speaker 1: my father. Who my kid's father is here's why. Ten
- 54:15Speaker 1: years ago, I lost my parents in a bad accident,
- 54:18Speaker 1: and living without them was unbearable for me. I started drinking, partying,
- 54:23Speaker 1: and having sex all of the time with different men.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I was a mess. My boyfriend had no idea about
- 54:30Speaker 1: my secret sex life. One night, when I was drunk,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I went to my boyfriend's house looking for him and
- 54:36Speaker 1: ended up having sex with his father. His dad and
- 54:39Speaker 1: I had amazing sexual chemistry, so we continue to have
- 54:43Speaker 1: sex for years. I got pregnant with my first child,
- 54:46Speaker 1: and my boyfriend and I got married. Since i've been married,
- 54:50Speaker 1: I've only had sex with my husband and his dad.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I do not use protection with my husband, and I
- 54:57Speaker 1: do not use protection with his dad. Recently, my husband's
- 55:00Speaker 1: dad and I ended our affair because it was getting
- 55:03Speaker 1: harder to sneak around. I also stopped drinking and decided
- 55:06Speaker 1: to get my life together so I can be a
- 55:08Speaker 1: better wife and a great mom. But the first thing
- 55:11Speaker 1: I need to do is figure out who the daddy
- 55:14Speaker 1: of each of my kids. Who is the daddy of
- 55:17Speaker 1: each one of my kids? Is it my husband or
- 55:20Speaker 1: is it his father. I love my husband dearly and
- 55:23Speaker 1: I don't want to lose him. His love and support
- 55:25Speaker 1: got me through the worst part of my life. I
- 55:28Speaker 1: need to tell him about my affair with his dad,
- 55:30Speaker 1: and I need to get him to do a DNA test.
- 55:33Speaker 1: My kids deserve to know who their dad is, right,
- 55:36Speaker 1: But I don't want to ruin the relationship that my
- 55:38Speaker 1: husband has with his dad. So how do I approach this?
- 55:41Speaker 1: Please help? Well, yeah, yeah, this is one of those moments. Yeah,
- 55:48Speaker 1: you're going to ruin the relationship. I mean, no doubt
- 55:51Speaker 1: about it. If you tell there's you're going to do that.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I mean, so don't even I don't even know why
- 55:57Speaker 1: you put that in the letter, because that's definitely going
- 56:00Speaker 1: to happen. You know, I'm sorry that you lost your parents,
- 56:03Speaker 1: your parents ten years ago. You know. That's why they
- 56:07Speaker 1: have counseling and stuff like that, so people can work
- 56:09Speaker 1: on those kinds of issues and not use drinking and
- 56:12Speaker 1: sex and things like that to get through it. That's
- 56:15Speaker 1: what you did, That's what happened. This is really crazy. Um,
- 56:19Speaker 1: I'm glad you've changed your life around, but boy, have
- 56:22Speaker 1: you left just a trail of mess behind, just a trail.
- 56:26Speaker 1: What I don't understand is why you kept sleeping with
- 56:29Speaker 1: both of them, both your dad, his dad and your husband,
- 56:33Speaker 1: the dad's son. Why why did you keep doing it
- 56:36Speaker 1: for so long? You said you did it for years,
- 56:38Speaker 1: And why were you doing it with no protection? Because
- 56:41Speaker 1: you know when you do it with no protection, you
- 56:43Speaker 1: can get pregnant or get a disease or something. I mean,
- 56:46Speaker 1: that was just dumb. I don't think you should tell.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I just don't. I mean, I mean, no, there there
- 56:56Speaker 1: are times, you know, when when this applies, and I
- 56:59Speaker 1: just think there's one of them. I just think this
- 57:01Speaker 1: is a secret you're going to have to take to
- 57:02Speaker 1: your grave, because there's no way if you do tell,
- 57:05Speaker 1: you're not going to ruin their relationship. This is just
- 57:08Speaker 1: because of your past behavior. This is just one of
- 57:10Speaker 1: those burdens you have to carry, and you got to
- 57:13Speaker 1: carry it to your grave as far as I'm concerned, Steve,
- 57:18Speaker 1: First of all, system you've made a series of bad
- 57:22Speaker 1: mistakes and you just got to eat him. But now
- 57:26Speaker 1: this moment that you're having in this letter, I need
- 57:29Speaker 1: to tell him talking about your husband, I love my
- 57:34Speaker 1: husband dearly and I don't want to lose him. His
- 57:38Speaker 1: love and support got me through the worst part of
- 57:40Speaker 1: my life. I need to tell him about my affair
- 57:43Speaker 1: with his dad, and I need him to get him
- 57:45Speaker 1: to do a DNA test. My kids deserve to know
- 57:48Speaker 1: who their dad is, right, But I don't want to
- 57:52Speaker 1: ruin a relationship that my husband has with his dad.
- 57:55Speaker 1: So how do I approach this? Please help? There's nothing
- 57:59Speaker 1: to approach you. You've made a series of mistakes, horrible mistakes.
- 58:06Speaker 1: You're not the only one to blame here. This man's
- 58:10Speaker 1: your husband's father, has a world of responsibility to bear
- 58:15Speaker 1: up under this. How could you do this to your son?
- 58:20Speaker 1: That's a big issue too, How could you do this
- 58:24Speaker 1: to your son? See, now here's the messed up part.
- 58:29Speaker 1: You're the only one getting everything you want, young lady.
- 58:34Speaker 1: You're the only one getting everything you want. You got
- 58:37Speaker 1: your husband, you got your affair, you got your kids,
- 58:42Speaker 1: you got all this. Now, you ain't saying you ain't
- 58:44Speaker 1: had no troubles in your life. You have, but you've
- 58:47Speaker 1: compounded them with some other decisions too. For now, and
- 58:51Speaker 1: then the father in law, this man you have an
- 58:55Speaker 1: affair with, he getting everything he won't. He got grandkids,
- 58:58Speaker 1: he got his son, he got his daughter in law,
- 59:01Speaker 1: he got a chick on the side, he coup that's trifle.
- 59:08Speaker 1: So you and him have been the only ones getting
- 59:11Speaker 1: exactly what you knew you were getting. Let's look at
- 59:14Speaker 1: the lives who don't know what they was getting. Your
- 59:18Speaker 1: kids don't know who they dog on daddy is not
- 59:22Speaker 1: really But then it's really not a question for them
- 59:25Speaker 1: right now because they're just assuming that's my daddy. If
- 59:28Speaker 1: you take that from them, what have you done? This
- 59:32Speaker 1: ain't the time to run your mouth. This is the
- 59:34Speaker 1: one time Sherilly then got this straight. No, really, really,
- 59:41Speaker 1: you always recommended telling the truth, and now you saying
- 59:45Speaker 1: live a lie, and this is when you have to
- 59:47Speaker 1: live the lie because she's destroying families. If it's okay, Shelly,
- 59:51Speaker 1: you've always said you should tell the truth. It's okay.
- 59:55Speaker 1: That's your hat. You hear though, You hear what you're
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: wanting here, that's what you say, Shelly, Shirley. Just my
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: turn with the letter name name, it's the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening, all right, Steve, come on
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: with part two of your response to today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Subject is he my kids daddy or granddaddy? Now, this
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: is the Strawberry letter. I've been asked by my co
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: host to keep her name out of my mouth when
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I'm doing I'm finding that increasing difficult. But let's just
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: reiterate this twenty one year old married woman married to
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: a high school sweetheart, got six kids. Ten years ago.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: She lost my parents in a bad accident. She started
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: drinking the health, sex with all kinds of men. One
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: time she went over to the house looking for a boyfriend,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: he wasn't there. She wounded up having sex with his daddy.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: They've continued to have this fair even though they've gotten married.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: She has always kept an affair going with her husband's father.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Now she got six kids, and she don't know whose
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: kids they are, so she wants to go have a
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: DNA test, so she wants to stop drinking. She stopped
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: drinking and decided to get her life together so she
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: can be a better wife and a great mom. She said,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: But the first thing I need to do is figure
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: out who is the daddy of each one of my kids.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Is it my husband or is it his father. I
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: love my husband dearly and I don't want to lose him.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: You're about to. His love and support got me through
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the worst part of my life, and this is how
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you repain. I need to tell him about my affair
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: with his dad, and I need him to go get
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: to a DNA test. You're gonna go tell your husband
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: about to a fair you've been having with his daddy. Now,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I just told you you're gonna ruin these kids' lives
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: because these kids only know your husband as they dad,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: and they know Grandpa as their grandfather. You're gonna go
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: in there and rearrange that, but you don't want to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: lose your husband. This is exactly how you lose your husband.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You're running out, running your mouth with disinformation right here.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: The best thing you could do is stop seeing his
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: old man, ask God for forgiveness and going to get
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: your life together. If you do decide to go in
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: there and tell, which would be the dumbest thing you
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: can do, You're going to ruin the kids' lives. Your
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: husband his father's son relationship will be damaged, possibly beyond repair.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Your life will suffer because you won't have this husband anymore.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Then you won't have their fair. You had it with
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and I got something else you haven't thought of. Your
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: relationship with your children could be damaged by this because
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: when they get old and finally figure out what it
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: is you did. That's gonna be a tough one. So
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you're talking at this point doesn't make any sense to
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: me at all. None. And once again I'm gonna say
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: this though my co host has gotten it right by
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: telling you to stand down and shut your mouth. I
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: have promoted lying since we got on this show. That's
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the biggest promoter of truth telling. I have told her
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: sometimes the reason me and lie is because if we
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: know the truth ain't gonna go good, we will give
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: you a lie. In state. This is one of those
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: situations where the truth ain't gonna go good. There's no
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: good can come out to trait. I agree nothing. And
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: finally I got her to understand why lying is necessary. Yeah,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: you can't. He'll destroy everything and everyone. It shouldn't have
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: been written. Yeah, but she's feeling guilty. That's what she feeling,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: all kinds of guilt since she's changed. Yeah, she's That's
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: one thing she's gonna have to do. She may need
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: a lie therapy after all, you know, Yeah, to deal
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: with all of this, because she's dealt with a lot.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: When you do tell them, do the kids say granddadda
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: daddy is a legitimate everyone. So he is your brother,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: really your niece or you? What do I call a kid?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: What the kids going through? Get them? No, I was
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: gonna say something reasonable. Oh, okay, technically the kids will
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: always be brother and sisters because they share the same mother. Yeah,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: so technically they always be. Now if you get rid
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: of the technicality, here we go, Uncle, you're gonna have
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: a damn problem because somebody over there is gonna have
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: to be somebody daddy. This, one of them bars is
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: gonna be on and one of them girls gonna be
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: somebody aunt. But all of mistake, cousins, you gonna have
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: to be the nieto. He has to get in roll
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: call at the family union. Gonna have a lot of
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: people standing up with the same damn title. And you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: can have multiple titles in this family with all the
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: sons of Walter stand up. Now when all the sons
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: of Walter Junior? All right, Steve, we gotta get out
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: of here. Email us that Strawberry letter, my girl, Shirley,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Morning Show. Okay, Steve, you
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: know there was a time when cheating was defined as
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: either you were sleeping with someone else or you won't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: or you weren't that it was just that simple, right, Well,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: now there's a new one, guys. It's called financial cheating.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Psychologists define it as any purse purposeful financial deceit. Oh,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: between two or more individuals who've got a stated or
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: unstated belief in mutual, honest communications around financial matters. So
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: here's some things to look out for if you if
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: you suspect your spouse or your mate of financial infidelity
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: pretending a new purchase is an old one. This jackie,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: see right there? Oh I knew, I knew this. Oh yeah,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: it's just when this is me, this is us, right,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: this should have been number one. Hiding purchases and hiding receipts.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Oh oh, fellas y'all go through that jacket. Jacket. My
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: wife don't do that. She just put the stuff in
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: the closet. I can't tell, wasn't yeah, okay, And I
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: show ain't looking for no receipts. So I missed that one. Yeah,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you put it in the trunk first, and you know,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: then when the coast the coast, then you move it
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to the closet. Okay, here's some other things when you
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: know someone's financially cheating on you hiding credit card statements.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Oh I wish I could talk right now without why
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: y'all saying? Because I want to say something I can't.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: That's why I'm saying. Uh, having a secret credit card,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: you know what, I tried to hold it. I hope
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: she listens. I hope she listens. Oh you did it?
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Oh you you did that. Oh. Here's another one. Having
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: a secret stash of money. That's how you know you're
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: financially cheating on your party. Here's another one, Steve, keeping
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: a raise or a bonus secret, not telling your spouse
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: about that. See if you like to go to Vegas
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: gambling money away in secret or winning. Told her that
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I had won these jackpots, and she go on the
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: side of the bed and get all these tickets. I'm
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: gonna cash these in. Ain't no need of you giving
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: them back. What did she take your tickets? You get
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: ready do what. I'm gonna cash these tickets in. And
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: some of these, some of these all she thought they
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: token it may token chips. You're talking about chip ship?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: How much we're turning this in, Steve, you got a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: lot of money right here. We ain't got to go
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: back and lose all this hey, listen to me. Listen
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to me, and you come to Vegas for two different reasons.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: You're messing. You're now touching the main reason. I'm out.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back. You put them damn chips
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: down with more, step away from them, step waiting about
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: your tickets with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to string show. Let's keeping it.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: One hundred questions from from Carla for the crew is uh,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: have you prayed for the downfall of your X and Y?
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Have you prayed guys, anybody for the downfall of your ex?
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I ain't that. I'm not that guy allegedly allegedly, allegedly
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I prayed for the Lord to take you out in
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: my life. I prayed for that, ya, But you don't
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: want anything bad. I mean when I heard something about
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: my ex, I didn't really be upset about it. I
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: like what that happened to them? I didn't. I wasn't
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: that yeah, you know, she pregnant? What that's not down
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: to me? Like? Nothing like real bad to have. I'm like,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: you know, I was. Yeah, I prayed for a lot,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you know, lock y'all one time. I wouldn't talk. Yeah,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you know, just a temporary stroke, you know, left sud
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: just just Tommy quarter peers on court day. Oh, on
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: court day, I did ask for a cart. Oh but
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: it was nothing. I just wanted to do one, not
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: to make it, that's all. I want to be hurt,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: but I want to car to be told total Yeah,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: but telling me where were you? I wish you ran
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: out of gas on a cliff, you know. So wait,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: when we first started this segment and surely asked y'all
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: this question, y'all was like, nah, I ain't never done that,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: like pray, but what was your question? Though? The question
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: is have you prayed for the downfall of your ex
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: and if you have no, no, not to downfall, but
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: something to happen, you know, but to fall down. Okay,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I'm just saying that's the same thing, guys, that same thing,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: you know, like slip on some steps and your heels
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: it's the same thing, yea, and go into an uncontrollable
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: free fall. Stuff like that. Ain't in slow motion the
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: heel caught in a sewer. Great, you know something now, Damn.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: That's about the most you've done. Nothing really bad though, right,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: strange come up to slap the hell out of them
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: something like that. Yeah, that's what you draw the line.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Something bad. Just y'all don't know really bad to have them.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: But you know, like, you know, if I find out
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: you know you listen to just so he don't be
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: nothing bad? No? No, yeah, chased by a pit bull,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, like I find out your house
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: got burned down and all the tapes was in there,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I'll be cool. What what's going on any tapes? You know,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: like super glued your mouth. That's a question for y'all
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: because y'all don't want to carry grudges. Wait a minute, Tommy,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: you're the one. No, you're not talking about carrying grudges.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I think he on THEO. What I'll recalling. I've been
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: your friend, my lord, eighteen years. I ain't you ain't
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: oh for gave what's your name? Now? What's his name? Okay,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: we're not talking about that right now. You ain't ever
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: for gay? What's it? What's his name? Sure? You see
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: me scriptures every morning? I know? Yeah, And hey, I'm
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: not perfect, Junior. I know the caller They say, you
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: know how to slide on the car and disconnect breaks
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: in by halapole sugar in a man tank one time.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: No proof of that calling five pound back calling when
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: the man tank exploded? What what? What? What? What? What?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: What did you need? What? How do I need proof?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: When the butcher knife is still in the last time, allegedly,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: I don't know this is this is a question for
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: the guys. Yeah, I mean, just out there, just stabbing
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: the time. I have no proof I will be President
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Trump on this show because there's no collusion. All right,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the show. All right,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: here's some trending national news. Guys. Another day, another missile
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: launch from North Korea for the second time. Yeah, for
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: the second time in a week. North Korea is firing missiles.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: South Korea's Department of Defense says the North fire too
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: short range ballistic missiles Office East Coast from the Wandson area.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: The White House. The White House says it is monitoring
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the situation, but there is no indication that they posed
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: a threat to the US. Trump He don't come and
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: give me Trumps dead, as I was saying. The White
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: House says it is mon turing the situation. There is
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: no indication that they posed a threat to the US
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: or any of their allies. Jay, look at me, Nuka
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Skid should miss day, miss everday. Moving on now, mister
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Kim Jong uh quickie entertainment news story. Jose Smalltt back
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: in the news. He sold his San Fernando Valley home
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: at a thirty thousand dollars loss. Uh. Smallett, who allegedly
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: faked a hate crime earlier this year, reportedly sold the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Hillside bungalow for one point six five five million. He
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: bought it for one point six eighty seven million a
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: couple of years ago, so he took a thirty k
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: loss there not a bad loss. Could have been worse,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I guess, yeah, yeah, yeah, well it is what it is. Yeah,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: it is what it is. Yeah. All right, we'll be
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Morning Show. Okay, A really few depressing reasons someone will
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: lie on a date. You want to hear these and
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: then you give us out yours. All right. They don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: believe they're good enough, so they'll lie. Make if they
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: think of love of dating and of relationships as a game.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: They just don't know any better, so they lie, I'm
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: gonna yeah, and I know you guys have I'm not
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: gonna tell you if I want to be with you. Yeah,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: that's just three reasons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, those are the
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: three main ones. They don't believe they're good enough. They
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: think of it as a game, and they just simply
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: do not see. It's not that you don't thank you
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: good enough. You're just making show you good enough. Build
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: it up. Oh yeah, no, that you don't thank you
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: good enough. If you're trying stacked the deck. How much
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you make a year? Unn you know, you know, you
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: make forty a whole about four hundred thousand, you know,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: I get it. It's a bonus at the end of
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: the year. And then they keep a hopeful of things
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: gonna be. Y'all just got this job, so I'm on pace. Yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: my bonus check at the end of the year be
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: three hundred and six and nothing yet because they think
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: it's a game. They just think, you know, dating, loving relationships.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: They think of it as a game. It's just a game.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: So well, if you guys in the throwback business, it
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: is a game. Some girls into it for game too.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: They just want to see if they can run their
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: little situation and make it work out. You know. And
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: a lot of women are playing the game now, so
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: a lot of people do think it's a game. It
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: sounds to me like you're justifying all this line that
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you No, I'm not justifying nothing, but a lot of
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: people think it's a game. Me and the women now
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: treat dating like a game. That's why so many that's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: why families just broken, the everybody everything jacked up now
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: because TV show man that Catfish, that's unbelievable to me.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Three years online with a person. Didn't you going to
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: meet him? But I'm in a damn stranger Connor caught
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: him playing. Man. This little dude, good looking, little black
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: kid was on Catfish. I went to see this girl
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: when it. Man, you should have seen this girl. Dog,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie to you. Dog. I whooped the
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: dude on Catfish. Man. I whipped his ass while I
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: swear to God out of star because they know what
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: the person looked like. This big girl came to this
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: dope man. It was lying to my She not hell
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: come back later. And the little dude, good looking, little
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: black dude, I couldn't understand it. Man, where you he
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: got to have plenty girl friends back in Saint Louis.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: You're then caught just playing down him. That little dude
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: looks on But she finally came clean and said it
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: was me, But she looked like George Wallace, Mama, it
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: was right, Steve coming up closing remarks right after this.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: You're listening here, we are last break of the day, Steve.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: This time is for you to just leave us with
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: something we can go through the rest of the day with.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: With your closing remarks and what do you have for
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: us today, sir? Well, you know, just something I've had
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: to learn. But I have to constantly, constantly remind myself
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: of it all the time. And that is something that
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olma taught me. He taught me something I
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: was going through, something I was being attacked, I thought
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: rather unfailed with a bunch of vicious lies. And what
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I was about to do was I had a plan
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: of a counter attack. I'm gonna go I'm gonna say something.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna set the record straight. Bishop Olma called me
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: justin and nick of time. I was about to make
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: a call to a reporter. I was about to to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: make a call to a reporter. I was about to
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: just set the record straight, and Bishop Woman said something
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: to me that changed my direction. He says, Steve, stay
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: on the wall. Stay on the wall. It's actually a scripture.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I don't know which one it is, but it's something
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: to the effect of stay on the wall. But what
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: he explained to me was very simple. You are in
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: a certain position in life. God has allowed you to climb, endue, overcome,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: survive and thrive. At a certain point in life, when
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: people beneath you start throwing rocks up at you, when
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: people on the floor start attacking you, saying stuff about
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you that ain't true, it is in your best interests
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to stay on the wall. Do not climb down off
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: the wall to address this small stuff. When God has
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: put you up there on the side of the hill,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: you halfway up the mountain, but you're gonna come back
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: down to the bottom of the mountain because somebody was
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: hauling insults up there, So now you come all halfway
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: back down the mountain to address them. Why now you
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: got to go all the way back up there when
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: all you had to do, Steve Harvey was stay on
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: the wall when all you had to do was stay
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: on that side of the mountain that God had allowed
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: you to get to, get on that plateau and take
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: yourself a rest. But stay on the wall, stay on
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: the mountain side. Don't come off to address these people
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: that's throwing rocks at you. Drake and Meek decided to
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: quit coming off the wall. It makes no sense. Cardie
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: B and Nicki Minaj, you're on the wall. Why do
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you keep getting off the wall to address these small
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: minded matters and people. I'm telling you, man, just because
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you're famous don't make you the smartest people in the room.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: We're not just because we're famous people. We make mistakes too,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: because guess what, famous people are happened to be human beings.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: They just got more people know they faced and know yours.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: They not know better than you. They're not smarter than you.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: They're not kinder than you. They're not deeper than you.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: It's none of that. They may have seen a few
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: more things, been a few more places. But guess what
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: if you don't adjust your thinking and you keep coming
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: down off the wall, don't those rich, wealthy, famous people
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: look real common to you, and don't it kind of
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: make you just a little bit of shame sometime when
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: you look over there and you see somebody that you
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: clearly know that God has blessed and allowed to get
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: to a certain position in life, And don't it sicken
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you just a little bit when you look over there
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: and they back down off the wall, acting like somebody
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: that ain't never been up on the wall. I don't
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: want to be that person, Nicki Minaj, really don't want
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: to be that person. Cardi b You don't really want
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: to be that person, because we're just defeating the purpose
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: of climbing anyway. You can't climb the wall or the
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: ladder and keep getting off every time somebody throw a
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: rock at you. At one point in time, you gotta
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: keep your foot on the ladder and keep climbing. At
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: one point time, you just gotta stay on the wall
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: quick coming back down. The best lesson I learned was
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: not to address everything that's said about me. Do you
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: know how much stuff gets said about me? Man that
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I could easily straighten out. I don't even take the
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: time too straighten it out, because what I'm on a mission.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: God got me on a mission. God got you on
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: the mission. God trying to show you something man, and
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: God can't show it to you if you're gonna keep
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: acting regular, Why would God do something extraordinary for you?
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: If you just want to be ordinary? Why would God
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: give you more? If you ain't appreciative of what you have?
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Why would God take you high if you keep climbing
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: back down? Just ask yourself that So one of the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: things I had to come away with quick coming off
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that wall, to address stuff. And that's what I want
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: everybody to consider today. And sometimes let famous people be
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: your example. And what are the great examples? Was over
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: this weekend Drake and Meek Meal, they hugged, they squashed
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: the beef. It's plenty of money for everybody. Drake not
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: gonna get it all, Meek not gonna get it all.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Card ain't gonna get it all. Nicki Minaj ain't gonna
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: get it all. Steve Harvey ain't gonna get it at all.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna get it all. It's plenty for everybody.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Make your money, stay on the wall, live your life
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: as a righteous person, do the best you can. Stay
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: prayed up, because we all gonna fall shorter to glory
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: at the end. All right, those are my clothes remarks?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Why you ain't say, Steve Harvey ain't gonna get it
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: all time, ain't gonna get it out? Why you ain't
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: say that? I didn't. I didn't want to compare me
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: in you. But we're a good comparison. This is such
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: an obvious one. It doesn't really drop the mic. Steve, Well,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: he always got to drop the mic. Why don't get
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: to drop the mic? You ain't never said nothing that
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: shut up? Julian, what you're gonna mess around? Had a
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: mic fall on you? Bye? Thank you for all, Steve.
