- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, here we go today, folks.
- 2:14Speaker 1: This is a good one because today I want to
- 2:18Speaker 1: share with you something that affects every living soul, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: that one thing is your attitude. This affects everyone. It
- 2:31Speaker 1: is your attitude. You know. I don't know if anyone's
- 2:37Speaker 1: ever told you, but I mean many of you who
- 2:40Speaker 1: listen know this, But there are a lot of people
- 2:43Speaker 1: who don't understand a positive attitude can bring about a change.
- 2:52Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about a change. Well, now
- 2:55Speaker 1: here we go with the nay says, well, Steve, what
- 2:57Speaker 1: you mean if I'm just positive being changed? I'm a
- 3:00Speaker 1: gonna what me being positive got to do? With that. Okay,
- 3:03Speaker 1: now listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring
- 3:08Speaker 1: about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear you saying that,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but they didn't fired me. So now what does my
- 3:14Speaker 1: having a positive attitude have to do with the fact
- 3:17Speaker 1: that they fired me? Well, one more time, A positive
- 3:23Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. What, Steve, I set up
- 3:29Speaker 1: in here and gave eight nine, twelve years of my
- 3:33Speaker 1: life to this man and he just he cheated on
- 3:36Speaker 1: me and walked out. Now what does me being positive
- 3:39Speaker 1: have to do with him cheating on me? How that's
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna change that? Okay, here we go again. A positive
- 3:46Speaker 1: attitude can bring about change. Now listen to the whole thing. Now,
- 3:52Speaker 1: the positive attitude and the change that can happen starts it.
- 3:59Speaker 1: This is the start. It starts within you. See, life
- 4:06Speaker 1: is ten percent. What happens is what you do about
- 4:09Speaker 1: what happens. Okay, you gave twelve years of your life
- 4:13Speaker 1: to this man. He cheated and left you hold in
- 4:15Speaker 1: the bag, the kids and everything. Now, what does being
- 4:18Speaker 1: positive have to do with changing that? Or they came
- 4:21Speaker 1: in and they fired you. You lost your job that
- 4:24Speaker 1: you was a stellar performer at. But now, how does
- 4:28Speaker 1: you having a positive attitude, How does that change things
- 4:31Speaker 1: for you? So far? You can use any example. Here's
- 4:36Speaker 1: what happens when you have a positive attitude. What it
- 4:40Speaker 1: produces within you is a positive approach to life. And
- 4:46Speaker 1: when you have a positive attitude and a positive approach
- 4:49Speaker 1: to life, it causes you to be optimistic, to have
- 4:54Speaker 1: a positive out look, to expect things to eva actually
- 5:00Speaker 1: turn around and and and and turn into a positive
- 5:03Speaker 1: That's very important because as the law of attraction comes
- 5:07Speaker 1: into play, if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things.
- 5:14Speaker 1: If you think evil thoughts, you attract evil to you.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You know, if you want for nothing, then nothing comes
- 5:22Speaker 1: your way. If you want for a positive attitude, if
- 5:26Speaker 1: you want for positive results, if you want for a
- 5:28Speaker 1: great outcome, that's what you attract to you. The change
- 5:31Speaker 1: will begin within you. So let's take the man that
- 5:35Speaker 1: walked out your life and left you hold in the bag.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things have happened as
- 5:43Speaker 1: positive here. Number one, you've ridded yourself of someone who
- 5:47Speaker 1: is obviously going to be, if not already been, toxic
- 5:51Speaker 1: in your life, cause you many restless nights, a lot
- 5:55Speaker 1: of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness, not sure in curity. You've
- 6:01Speaker 1: been going through it with this person, whoever they are.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Number One, that person has been released from your life.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Number Two, it allows you now to have the someone
- 6:12Speaker 1: who will treat you just the way you want to
- 6:14Speaker 1: be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's the optimistic way.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's when you're a positive person. You see the positive
- 6:21Speaker 1: in things that happened to you instead of burying yourself
- 6:25Speaker 1: under the what's wrong with it? A old woe is
- 6:27Speaker 1: me now concept? See a positive attitude. When they came
- 6:32Speaker 1: in there and they fired you and let you go,
- 6:35Speaker 1: could this not have been just the opening you needed
- 6:39Speaker 1: to finally start on a new career path that you've
- 6:42Speaker 1: been talking about doing anyway? Could it possibly be a
- 6:46Speaker 1: brand new chance for you to get the dream job
- 6:49Speaker 1: or dream career of your choice. Could it not possibly
- 6:53Speaker 1: be the perfect opportunity now for you to finally finally
- 7:00Speaker 1: do something about that gift, about that talent that God
- 7:03Speaker 1: gave you, that thing that you love to do. Could
- 7:06Speaker 1: it not be the perfect time for you to pursue that.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But if you don't have a positive attitude, then you
- 7:11Speaker 1: lay there. Oh, they finned come getting my house. Oh
- 7:15Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do now? All this unemployment ain't enough.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh Lord, when this unemployment run out, what am I
- 7:22Speaker 1: gonna do? Then I won't have nothing? And you old
- 7:25Speaker 1: woe is me until you become old woe is me.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But if you take it from the positive approach, some
- 7:32Speaker 1: amazing things can happen in your life. I will tell
- 7:35Speaker 1: you on a personal note, that's some of the most
- 7:39Speaker 1: some of the best changes, some of the biggest moments
- 7:42Speaker 1: in my life came after a loss. So I don't
- 7:46Speaker 1: want to go down on the list, but boy, I
- 7:47Speaker 1: could tell you. Let me let me tell you something.
- 7:49Speaker 1: When they didn't want me on the radio anymore in La,
- 7:53Speaker 1: when they didn't know when they went it was sick
- 7:54Speaker 1: of the way I did radio out there, and they
- 7:57Speaker 1: wanted me gone. And on May twenty third, two thousand
- 8:01Speaker 1: and five, when my when when when my deal was done?
- 8:08Speaker 1: With the beat out in La? Okay, Look what happened though, y'all?
- 8:14Speaker 1: I was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I
- 8:17Speaker 1: started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities. You see.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But I didn't go old war was me? I said,
- 8:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, God must have something else. From it then,
- 8:30Speaker 1: because if he didn't remove me from this, that must
- 8:32Speaker 1: be something else. Same thing can happened when you lose
- 8:35Speaker 1: and you and you and you break up in a relationship.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Same thing can happen to you. You never know the
- 8:40Speaker 1: one God God for you. Now Here you go, Here
- 8:43Speaker 1: you go again. Now you get put into a situation
- 8:45Speaker 1: with somebody, treat you just the way you want to
- 8:47Speaker 1: be treated, provide you the whole lot of aspects of
- 8:50Speaker 1: your life you knew nothing about prior to that. But
- 8:52Speaker 1: you gotta stay positive. If you stay positive, that positive attitude,
- 8:57Speaker 1: that optimistic outlook, that that that always thinking God got
- 9:03Speaker 1: me no matter what happened to me, some amazing things
- 9:05Speaker 1: that's going can will happen in your life. It's a fact.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I don't know how it works that way. I just
- 9:11Speaker 1: know that's what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So get off the old woe is mean negativity train
- 9:18Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and
- 9:20Speaker 1: get get your outlook up. If you change your attitude,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you change your altitude. Altitude is determined by your attitude.
- 9:29Speaker 1: How high you go, how big you become, how far
- 9:32Speaker 1: you go. It all depends on how you think. It
- 9:35Speaker 1: all depends on what type of attitude you got. It
- 9:39Speaker 1: ain't no, ain't no very very successful, super negative people.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It just doesn't coincide that way. If you see that
- 9:46Speaker 1: something that happened to them along the way, and don't weary.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You ain't gonna weary about it because you ain't gonna
- 9:50Speaker 1: see them long because you can't stay up there like that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: It's just too hard, all right. That's the conversation you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening to. Morning show. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the

- 13:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steam time now for I
- 13:49Speaker 1: ask the CLLO Chief Love Officer. Please submit your questions
- 13:53Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey FM dot com. This one, Steven is
- 13:56Speaker 1: from EJ and McKinney, Texas. EJ says, I've been with
- 14:00Speaker 1: my girl for four months. When we first met, she
- 14:03Speaker 1: got drunk and told me about her freakiest sexual encounter
- 14:06Speaker 1: with her supervisor. She said they had sex all over
- 14:10Speaker 1: the office and it was the bomb. I never mentioned
- 14:14Speaker 1: it to her again, but I have been monitoring her
- 14:18Speaker 1: work activities. Yesterday, this guy sent my girl a text
- 14:21Speaker 1: to meet him at the office Saturday so the two
- 14:25Speaker 1: of them can discuss plans to reopen the office. I
- 14:28Speaker 1: told her I know all about their history, and she
- 14:30Speaker 1: flat out denied everything she told me about him. I
- 14:34Speaker 1: think he's wanting to meet up for sex. Should I
- 14:36Speaker 1: go with her? No? What's you going with? The full?
- 14:40Speaker 1: You know? Goodna hair Well? What do he wanted down
- 14:42Speaker 1: the fall? It was the bomb. They was all over it.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You know, Why would you go to the office to
- 14:48Speaker 1: meet about opening the office when you got to go
- 14:50Speaker 1: down there to open office to meet it? Off, m
- 14:54Speaker 1: that was profound Sea, I don't even know where that
- 14:58Speaker 1: can say. Why would you go down to the office
- 15:04Speaker 1: to meet at the office when you got to go
- 15:07Speaker 1: down there to open the office to head and meeting
- 15:09Speaker 1: at the office whom? So what is you going down
- 15:13Speaker 1: there to meet about opening the office when you got
- 15:16Speaker 1: to go down there to open the office the head
- 15:17Speaker 1: and meeting about opening the damn office? And then what
- 15:22Speaker 1: are we talking about here? Okay? I like it? No,
- 15:25Speaker 1: makes sense, and that ain't your girl dog? Yeah? No,
- 15:31Speaker 1: she to the office. She called, all right, Steve, it
- 15:40Speaker 1: sounds like you're gonna be a fire tonight, so let's
- 15:42Speaker 1: keep it moving. Candice in West Westminster, Arkansas, says, I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: a forty four year old single mother and I would
- 15:49Speaker 1: like to find a nice man to date. My friends
- 15:51Speaker 1: took me up with two men, and both of them
- 15:53Speaker 1: wanted sex. After talking to me for only a few days,
- 15:56Speaker 1: one of them told me he'd wait a while, but
- 15:58Speaker 1: before it got too far, he told me we must
- 16:02Speaker 1: have sex or he'll get bored and move on. So
- 16:05Speaker 1: is this what dating is all about? Now? All I'm
- 16:07Speaker 1: hearing is that I have to put up or shut up?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Do you think it's okay if I do a little
- 16:11Speaker 1: something but not go all the way to keep these
- 16:13Speaker 1: guys interested? Something hook lines? Somebody thinks you're desperate, and
- 16:20Speaker 1: somebody wants to see what you're willing to do to
- 16:22Speaker 1: get out of his state of desperation. Don't act desperate,
- 16:27Speaker 1: don't behave desperate, and don't respond desperate. You ain't got
- 16:31Speaker 1: to deal with that to keep them interested. Keep interested? Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 1: if you're not interesting, then what's it for? All sex
- 16:40Speaker 1: is interesting til after you get it. If it's good though,
- 16:44Speaker 1: it keep it okay, Yeah, because if you're not interested
- 16:49Speaker 1: in the person, you just go get interested in some
- 16:53Speaker 1: most sex, okay, so it's the person. But I mean,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you know she's feeling pressure. I think that that's kind
- 17:02Speaker 1: of what she's saying to Steve. She's she's feeling the pressure.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So you're telling her to hold on to what she
- 17:08Speaker 1: believes in and do not give into these guys. That's basic, Okay.
- 17:12Speaker 1: After you give them what they want, what do you get?
- 17:14Speaker 1: What do you get? What you see? That's the problem.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Giving me what everybody else want and then not getting
- 17:20Speaker 1: what you want. That's not that's not fair exchange, right.
- 17:23Speaker 1: That's a lesson for everyone to learn, especially these young
- 17:26Speaker 1: girls don't feel don't give into the pressure, Steve. This
- 17:29Speaker 1: is from Dionysia and Tampa. She says, I'm a twenty
- 17:33Speaker 1: four year old single woman and I got back on
- 17:35Speaker 1: tender recently to have sex. But now I think I
- 17:38Speaker 1: found a good man. We've been having the best sex
- 17:41Speaker 1: for the past two months, and I think he's falling
- 17:43Speaker 1: for me. His lease is up at the end of May,
- 17:47Speaker 1: so he's been joking about moving in with me. He
- 17:50Speaker 1: said he will have to have my spare bedroom, though
- 17:53Speaker 1: I was hoping we'd share my bedroom because I love
- 17:56Speaker 1: cuddling with him after sex. Now I'm wondering if he's
- 17:59Speaker 1: of moving in with me because he likes me, or
- 18:02Speaker 1: if he just wants some good sex whenever he needs it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: What do you think? Well, let me hold you just
- 18:11Speaker 1: met the guy on tender? Yeah two months. Yeah, it's
- 18:16Speaker 1: the end of May. He want to move in. I
- 18:20Speaker 1: think you'll do a little background check. Is he broke?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Do he need a place to stay? Are you it?
- 18:29Speaker 1: And then here come to fake move. I'm gonna need
- 18:31Speaker 1: that extra bedroom though, but I wanted him to share
- 18:34Speaker 1: my bedroom so we can cut them. Y'all. Y'all just
- 18:37Speaker 1: having sex? Why don't you just keep having sex? What
- 18:39Speaker 1: did you moving him? In? Fault? I don't make no sense.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And you twenty fault exactly. Damn damn little girl, Slow down.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I went back on tender to have sex. Okay, where
- 18:54Speaker 1: you got it? But now she thinks she found a
- 18:56Speaker 1: good man. She says, stick, Really that needs a place
- 19:00Speaker 1: to stay already up at the end of this month,
- 19:04Speaker 1: that's why he got to get a place and you
- 19:06Speaker 1: tag you in. He don't need listen to me, you
- 19:11Speaker 1: got a place. He don't need a down payment, He
- 19:13Speaker 1: don't need a deposit. He ain't got to run a
- 19:16Speaker 1: credit check. He probably don't even need no frontite. He
- 19:20Speaker 1: didn't move in and bring that air matress on over
- 19:22Speaker 1: there and plug it up Walmart got him when you
- 19:24Speaker 1: can plug it in the wall and blow up itself,
- 19:26Speaker 1: blow itself up. Yeah, he thinks he's gonna he wants
- 19:31Speaker 1: my spare bedroom. And that's what he told you, and
- 19:34Speaker 1: not guess what you said as an ignorant reply, I
- 19:36Speaker 1: won't hear him to sleep with me like he ain't
- 19:38Speaker 1: thought of that? Little girl stopped? How do you spell tender?
- 19:44Speaker 1: T I N tommy w w I N d e R.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But Steve, these last two, um, the last two are interesting.
- 20:00Speaker 1: The one from Candice in West Memphis. She's forty four
- 20:03Speaker 1: getting pressure from guys who want to have sex for
- 20:05Speaker 1: her from her. And then this young woman Denisha and
- 20:09Speaker 1: Tampa is twenty four passionate chill Yeah, wow, come on, lady, ladies,
- 20:18Speaker 1: care more about yourself than that. It is basically what
- 20:21Speaker 1: he's saying. Yeah, man, come on, guys, so any any
- 20:28Speaker 1: closing remarks on that, Steve, you want to add to
- 20:31Speaker 1: any of that forty four. It's your self value to
- 20:35Speaker 1: both of them, right, you got one of them. You
- 20:38Speaker 1: got to keep the value for yourself high in order
- 20:40Speaker 1: to get appreciated as high. And another one you need
- 20:43Speaker 1: to raise your value that all you got to do
- 20:45Speaker 1: is have good sex to move in. You're here for
- 20:47Speaker 1: a rough life. That's right, that's right, Thank you, Cello.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is the nephew to run that
- 20:53Speaker 1: brank back. Right after this you're listening to show. Coming
- 20:59Speaker 1: up the top of the hour, Miss Anna is standing
- 21:02Speaker 1: by with more of today's national COVID nineteen National news
- 21:06Speaker 1: plus an entertainment news. B ET Awards will be virtual
- 21:09Speaker 1: this year. That's going to be interesting. We'll talk about
- 21:12Speaker 1: that at the top of the hour. But right now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: the nephew in the building to run that prank back.
- 21:18Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now? He left his droughts, Yeah,
- 21:26Speaker 1: yes he did. Yeah. All you made out there is
- 21:30Speaker 1: driving right now. You ain't your vehicle. If you left
- 21:32Speaker 1: your droughts, blow your home. If you've ever left your
- 21:36Speaker 1: droughts before, just blow you home. I always love Steve's
- 21:40Speaker 1: reaction because he's mad at first at you, but then
- 21:43Speaker 1: he gets caught up and starts remembering him. Tommy, but
- 21:49Speaker 1: I have had him all wrong. Harry left wait backward,
- 21:58Speaker 1: Steve lab the front one time, the big ones. I
- 22:02Speaker 1: came home and got him dressed and stepped out my
- 22:04Speaker 1: pants and only had my leg in one one side
- 22:08Speaker 1: of the draw. I was trying to get to the
- 22:12Speaker 1: house for it got too late. Oh that one was rough.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I can, I can. I think I can beat you
- 22:18Speaker 1: on this one. I don't got home and I didn't
- 22:22Speaker 1: got home and had her panic though what Tommy, you win? Yeah,
- 22:29Speaker 1: that's dump that her lights were her lights was out.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I mean there's a reason we couldn't see that silk. Yeah,
- 22:36Speaker 1: silks that Yeah, you didn't cat what I would say,
- 22:42Speaker 1: they wasn't too small. But we go. I ain't never
- 22:48Speaker 1: been with a woman. I could wear her panties. I
- 22:55Speaker 1: could have got her partis who was I in the bed? Hello? Yes, mister, yes, Hey,
- 23:05Speaker 1: this is the door man mark your building. Okay, I
- 23:09Speaker 1: have a mistress in here who is trying to get
- 23:13Speaker 1: buzzed up to your unit. Are you are you at
- 23:15Speaker 1: home right now? Sir? No? No, no, sir, I'm not
- 23:18Speaker 1: a who yeah, a mister, Um, what's you say? I'm
- 23:21Speaker 1: sorry what you say? Mister? And he was he buzzed up?
- 23:26Speaker 1: Supposedly he left some articles in the room. Are in
- 23:29Speaker 1: your unit? A couple of days ago? And that was
- 23:32Speaker 1: out of count a couple of days ago. What day

- 30:18Speaker 1: long to it like what like more than it was
- 30:21Speaker 1: like what seven eight years or more than that? Oh
- 30:25Speaker 1: ten years? Oh yes, okay it is Yeah, I remember
- 30:34Speaker 1: those shows. They were funny. That was cool, all right now.
- 30:39Speaker 1: And Celebration of Gospel was good. Oh yeah. He pretty
- 30:44Speaker 1: much hosts everything black people got to do. I back,
- 30:49Speaker 1: you missed it, Yeah, I missed that Celebration of Gospel.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah that was a good show. Yeah, it was fun.

- 31:05Speaker 1: I bet they would all come back though the Donnie mcclerkins,
- 31:09Speaker 1: Mary mary Landa Adams. Yes, oh, that Kirk would be
- 31:15Speaker 1: a good host too. M I like Kurt, Yeah, I
- 31:18Speaker 1: love him on Sunday best too short, He's not up.
- 31:30Speaker 1: K Kirk's height is perfect, not the wrong with him.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Man and Manica looked it up. She said you hosted
- 31:38Speaker 1: you and said it was two thousand and one and
- 31:40Speaker 1: two thousand and two. Oh wow, yeah, nineteen years ago.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I didn't realize it was that long ago. Steve. All right,
- 31:51Speaker 1: time now for tell me something good. Here's some good news.
- 31:54Speaker 1: NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson says his life insurance
- 31:57Speaker 1: company has got one hundred million dollars to hand out
- 32:00Speaker 1: to small businesses. What in case you missed it, Magic
- 32:04Speaker 1: says his Equi or Equi Trust Equitrust Life insurance company
- 32:09Speaker 1: will make loans through the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program.
- 32:14Speaker 1: He says the goal is to quote save a lot
- 32:17Speaker 1: of small women and minority owned businesses because yeah, because
- 32:22Speaker 1: they just can't walk into a bank and get that loan.
- 32:25Speaker 1: That is so true. Magic said he heard that small
- 32:27Speaker 1: businesses were struggling to obtain PPP loans in news reports,
- 32:31Speaker 1: and he felt the need to step up. Thank you, Magic.
- 32:37Speaker 1: That's big to try to get to information what people
- 32:41Speaker 1: need to do to apply. Yeah. One hundred million dollars. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:46Speaker 1: one hundred million dollars. And he's looking out for women too.
- 32:50Speaker 1: That I mean. It's a win win win when I
- 32:54Speaker 1: love it. Yeah, one of the greatest of all times,
- 32:58Speaker 1: mister magic Jack. Because Steve you said small businesses, the
- 33:03Speaker 1: government considers small businesses, well not in this case. They're
- 33:07Speaker 1: not supposed to. But a small business, by the rules,
- 33:12Speaker 1: is really not what people think. You know, your mom
- 33:16Speaker 1: and pop store doesn't fit in the small business category.
- 33:19Speaker 1: They're talking about your little T shirt come in that day. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: they ain't talking about you. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:28Speaker 1: Miss Anne Trip, thank you, thank you, and good morning everybody.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Some eleven thousand residents of central Michigan had to be
- 33:35Speaker 1: evacuated yesterday after two dams collapsed in an area just
- 33:39Speaker 1: north of Flint, Michigan. That area already hard hit by
- 33:43Speaker 1: coronavirus infections. Governor Gretchen Whitmer says it's caused a catastrophic
- 33:47Speaker 1: flooding condition. What I can tell you is what you
- 33:49Speaker 1: already know you've seen from the pictures. It's devastating. This
- 33:52Speaker 1: is going to be heard, but we are anticipating several
- 33:55Speaker 1: feet of water across this area, and so while we're
- 33:58Speaker 1: in the midst of a global pandemic, it's really important
- 34:01Speaker 1: that to the best of our ability, we observe the
- 34:04Speaker 1: best practices to keep ourselves in our family's safe. Yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 1: the governor's declared a state of emergency. The water has crested,
- 34:09Speaker 1: but flooding has sent people into shelters. At the same
- 34:12Speaker 1: time that state officials have been trying to enforce social
- 34:14Speaker 1: distancing to keep the COVID nineteen infection rate down. Soils
- 34:17Speaker 1: really really bad situation. There's now some form of reopening though,
- 34:20Speaker 1: of the economies in all fifty states, some small businesses,
- 34:24Speaker 1: certain industries are being allowed to open. For the first
- 34:27Speaker 1: time in history, members of the House of Representatives will
- 34:30Speaker 1: not be required to be at the capital in the
- 34:32Speaker 1: flesh to conduct business because of the danger of the coronavirus.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Speak of. Nancy Pelosi says members may now vote by proxy.
- 34:39Speaker 1: In other words, one lawmaker, she says, who's physically in
- 34:42Speaker 1: the chamber can vote for as many as ten other
- 34:44Speaker 1: colleagues put their votes in, and now committees are being
- 34:47Speaker 1: permitted to hold hearings via video conferencing Democratic congressmen and
- 34:52Speaker 1: women to prove the new rules last week over the
- 34:54Speaker 1: opposition from Republicans. The new remote plans remain in effect
- 34:57Speaker 1: for forty five days, but can be either cutback extended
- 35:00Speaker 1: depending upon what happens with this pandemic. Transformer President transformer
- 35:05Speaker 1: personal lawyers being released from prison for fears of him
- 35:08Speaker 1: catching coronavirus, and talking about fifty three year old Michael Cohn,
- 35:11Speaker 1: who was serving three years for campaign finance for and
- 35:13Speaker 1: some other things. He's to serve out the remainder of
- 35:15Speaker 1: his term at home. A new Associated Press pole, meanwhile,
- 35:18Speaker 1: shows that eighty three percent of Americans are at least
- 35:21Speaker 1: somewhat concerned that lifting social restrictions in their areas could
- 35:25Speaker 1: lead to some additional coronavirus infections. Fifty four percent say
- 35:28Speaker 1: they're either very or extremely concerned. The number also shows
- 35:32Speaker 1: those support for closures and social distancing is eroding, especially
- 35:35Speaker 1: among Republicans. President Trump has changed his mind and is
- 35:39Speaker 1: thinking about inviting the leaders of the so called Group
- 35:42Speaker 1: of Seven to the US in June. After all, the
- 35:45Speaker 1: heads of the world's major economies. Rather had been scheduled
- 35:49Speaker 1: to come to the official presidential retreating Camp David, but
- 35:52Speaker 1: those plans were interrupted because of the coronavirus and finally
- 35:55Speaker 1: today that was National Dinosaur. I'm scary right now. Back
- 36:02Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 36:06Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Nephew, uh is here? I love
- 36:10Speaker 1: these wellness check in phone calls that you do with

- 37:22Speaker 1: understand what you what you do for a living, Kenny?
- 37:24Speaker 1: I do. I'm making this. I do make this work. Okay.
- 37:27Speaker 1: How is the man do you? You? Are you going
- 37:29Speaker 1: in every day? You're going in and you yeah, making
- 37:31Speaker 1: sure you're covered up good? Oh yeah? And then I
- 37:33Speaker 1: worked alone. I worked by myself, so it's just me
- 37:36Speaker 1: by myself. But I got it. That's good. Yeah, no complaint.
- 37:39Speaker 1: How many kids you got, Kenny? I got two? I
- 37:42Speaker 1: got one lives in Virginia. He's in the Navan. I
- 37:44Speaker 1: got one here with me. She's a fifteen. How's she
- 37:46Speaker 1: doing at home? Being doing this whole situation. She's doing
- 37:49Speaker 1: fine to a home freak. Other than that, he's he's
- 37:53Speaker 1: on that for with her friends and all. But others

- 38:11Speaker 1: the best you can. You really get to know somebody
- 38:18Speaker 1: when you stay home all the time with them. Hey man,
- 38:21Speaker 1: I've been I've been locked in my house with my wife,
- 38:23Speaker 1: says March. I know exactly what you're talking about, but
- 38:26Speaker 1: I know exactly how I've learned how to be quiet.
- 38:29Speaker 1: That's what I've learned how to do. There you go,
- 38:31Speaker 1: There you go. I'm not gonna win. You're not gonna
- 38:34Speaker 1: win the argument to leave that alone. I go and
- 38:36Speaker 1: if you win, you you you can't go nowhere. That's
- 38:39Speaker 1: the last thing you want to do is win and
- 38:40Speaker 1: be walking around in front of them. I just think that, Yeah,
- 38:43Speaker 1: that's true. Hey man, I just wanted to call man
- 38:47Speaker 1: and say hello, Man and on behalf of the Steve
- 38:49Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We're doing the wellness checking Kenny, you
- 38:52Speaker 1: got you fell on my list man out of Flowing,
- 38:54Speaker 1: South Carolina. So brother, much love to you, your wife,
- 38:57Speaker 1: your daughter, your your son. That's the way in the military.
- 39:00Speaker 1: And just keep being safe. Man. Thank you, Tommy man
- 39:03Speaker 1: you think. Yeah. I love all y'all. Man, y'all be good. Okay, Hey,
- 39:06Speaker 1: one more thing, Kenny, tell you everybody the badest radio
- 39:09Speaker 1: show in the land. Man, do you already know the
- 39:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning joll come on with it now, great
- 39:16Speaker 1: job as always, Thank you nephew. Yeah, coming in thirty
- 39:19Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour Old habits post pandemic. We'll
- 39:23Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to this
- 39:26Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, being in quarantine has
- 39:31Speaker 1: forced us to take a long, hard look at our
- 39:34Speaker 1: daily habits and like really see what's working and what
- 39:38Speaker 1: we'd like to change in our lives. Okay, As we've
- 39:40Speaker 1: adapted to this different adapted to this different lifestyle, I
- 39:43Speaker 1: should say, we're realizing that some things aren't as important
- 39:46Speaker 1: as we thought. From overscheduling to always being on, for example,
- 39:52Speaker 1: focusing on future plans rather than just present moments. Being
- 39:56Speaker 1: in the moment. You know, we get so excited about
- 39:58Speaker 1: the next big thing coming up in our lives that
- 40:00Speaker 1: we may rush through the present. But honey, this pandemic
- 40:04Speaker 1: has shown us that even the best laid plans can
- 40:07Speaker 1: get changed. Can I get an amen on that one? Really?
- 40:15Speaker 1: Always being on? You know, stee you you deal with
- 40:19Speaker 1: or you're used to anyway pre pandemic um. The lines
- 40:23Speaker 1: between working from home and personal time are blurred for
- 40:26Speaker 1: a lot of us because we all need downtime. I mean,
- 40:30Speaker 1: we just do so. I mean, you know this, this
- 40:33Speaker 1: has been downtime for a lot of people. Some people
- 40:35Speaker 1: can work from home, we don't. We got this one.
- 40:37Speaker 1: We can do radio from our home. Definitely, that's a
- 40:43Speaker 1: great thing. TV is down and date they're not even
- 40:49Speaker 1: the discussions they're having it looks like a while off.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I mean, I wish it was different. They're discussing ways
- 40:57Speaker 1: to doing shows with no audiences out here out there
- 41:00Speaker 1: in Hollywood and stuff like that, which you don't still
- 41:04Speaker 1: be the same show. But I don't know, man, I
- 41:06Speaker 1: just don't know what they're gonna do. I've just been
- 41:08Speaker 1: staying prayerful, and you know that that, you know, God,
- 41:11Speaker 1: guy always got something better in store for me. I don't, really,
- 41:14Speaker 1: I don't. I've learned not to trip because it's always
- 41:19Speaker 1: something around the corner. You just got to get to
- 41:22Speaker 1: the corner. A lot of people give up in the
- 41:24Speaker 1: middle of the block, go down to the corner. It's
- 41:27Speaker 1: always another view at the corner. And so that's what
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'm doing. I'm just I'm just lasting like everybody else,
- 41:33Speaker 1: to get down to the next corner, because I know
- 41:36Speaker 1: it's gonna be something good. He he didn't bring me
- 41:38Speaker 1: this far to leave me, So I just don't. I
- 41:41Speaker 1: don't leave that, not for a minute at all, really,
- 41:48Speaker 1: not for the slightest moment. I just my track record,
- 41:52Speaker 1: in your track record states that he that He's gonna
- 41:55Speaker 1: get you through this, just like everything else, and as
- 41:58Speaker 1: dismal as it seems, you know, that's what that's going
- 42:01Speaker 1: to be the case. You're right, And if you have that,
- 42:03Speaker 1: if you have that in you, in that belief, that's
- 42:05Speaker 1: what can carry you through this pandemic. That's what can
- 42:08Speaker 1: take you right on through it. It gets absolute times, yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 1: but if you believe, you gotta hold on to something,
- 42:15Speaker 1: you have to and why not God and your faith
- 42:18Speaker 1: in Him and what He's going to do. I mean look,
- 42:22Speaker 1: countless numbers of times He's done it over and over
- 42:26Speaker 1: and over. It's too many stories in the Bible for
- 42:28Speaker 1: me to give up doing rough times. Some of the
- 42:31Speaker 1: coldest miracles was somebody was in somebody was in trouble,
- 42:35Speaker 1: trouble dog, And I ain't in the deal with the lions. Yeah,
- 42:39Speaker 1: And I think, come on, man, everything, I ain't in
- 42:45Speaker 1: the furnish fire hold on. You know, he done some
- 42:49Speaker 1: incredible stuff. I just don't see how he would leave me.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I talk to him every day. Yeah, I mean, I'm
- 42:59Speaker 1: in constant community casa with him for sure. And and
- 43:02Speaker 1: I ain't even asking for nothing. I'm just thanking him
- 43:05Speaker 1: that during this time right here, that I that I've
- 43:08Speaker 1: done as well as I have. I mean, man, yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: I've done really really well. To be in the middle
- 43:13Speaker 1: of what people are calling a crisis. I'm I'm actually
- 43:18Speaker 1: watching some miraculous things happening, and not by any doing
- 43:22Speaker 1: of mine. I've just watched, man, God do some things
- 43:27Speaker 1: around me and a lot of people. I know. Man,
- 43:30Speaker 1: it's just coming through this thing, even if it has
- 43:33Speaker 1: caused you a bit of a stumble for a moment,
- 43:36Speaker 1: think about this, man, there are a lot of people
- 43:39Speaker 1: who are going to make career moves because it is
- 43:44Speaker 1: there are a lot of people who are going to
- 43:47Speaker 1: come out of different situations that they needed to get
- 43:49Speaker 1: out of. Anyway. Sometimes the jump comes in the form
- 43:54Speaker 1: of a push. Either way, you got to get you
- 43:56Speaker 1: got to get. Aborne. Yeah, I'm just watching what this,
- 44:00Speaker 1: this this cliff has done for me, you know, and
- 44:05Speaker 1: Steve as well. You know it be much worse, not worse.
- 44:08Speaker 1: I'm actually excited. I am too. All right, coming up next, nephew,
- 44:14Speaker 1: tell me here again with today's praying phone call. Oh lord,
- 44:18Speaker 1: we'll get into it right after this. You're listening to
- 44:22Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 44:27Speaker 1: about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today's subject. Now,
- 44:32Speaker 1: this young woman wrote us a couple of weeks ago, Steve,
- 44:36Speaker 1: you'll remember her, pretty young thing. This was a young
- 44:40Speaker 1: woman who married the older guy. Well, anyway, she she
- 44:42Speaker 1: has written us back and the subject is pretty young
- 44:45Speaker 1: thing with the scary older man. Now he's scary. We'll
- 44:49Speaker 1: get into that a little later, but right now, the
- 44:52Speaker 1: nephew is here for today's praying phone call. What you
- 44:54Speaker 1: got for us? Now? Yo, house is my house? Well,
- 44:59Speaker 1: then my your house. It's my house. It's twenty and twenty.
- 45:04Speaker 1: It got one for you right here. Let's go cat down. Hello. Hello,
- 45:09Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Russell. Yeah, this is Russell Russell.
- 45:14Speaker 1: I'm Izaiah. I'm a hey realator, real estate, and I'm
- 45:19Speaker 1: trying to do some schematics. I'm thinking, I'm I'm calling
- 45:22Speaker 1: the right house. I'm not quite sure. Are you West
- 45:25Speaker 1: Dixie Road? Uh? Yeah, that's okay. How many square feet
- 45:30Speaker 1: is your house? If you don't mind me asking? Uh,
- 45:33Speaker 1: it's about thirty five square feet. I don't know this
- 45:36Speaker 1: is the right house or not. Is this you have
- 45:38Speaker 1: a deck out in the back of all weather type
- 45:40Speaker 1: of deck out in the back? Yeah? I do what
- 45:43Speaker 1: do you? What do you? What do you? What's this about? Okay,
- 45:47Speaker 1: if you don't mind me, Russell, how long have you
- 45:49Speaker 1: lived there? Yeah? My man, I've already asked you twice,
- 45:52Speaker 1: and you're asking me for like person information on my credit.
- 45:55Speaker 1: But it's just a reference to Okay, Well, like I said,
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'm a realator and I'm trying to get ahead. There's
- 46:00Speaker 1: some things that's going on, and you're well, it's been
- 46:05Speaker 1: brought to my attention that your house is going to
- 46:07Speaker 1: be it's going into foreclosure and it's gonna be on
- 46:11Speaker 1: the on the market in the next two two to
- 46:13Speaker 1: three weeks. So I wanted to make sure I was
- 46:15Speaker 1: getting the right house, and I wanted to make sure
- 46:18Speaker 1: you got the wrong house. My my, My, My house
- 46:21Speaker 1: is not going in foreclosure. I'm up to date. I'm good.
- 46:24Speaker 1: So you got you definitely got the wrong house. Okay,
- 46:27Speaker 1: hang on so West Dixie Road, and like you said,
- 46:32Speaker 1: thirty square feet, this is a two car garage, right.
- 46:36Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what information you're getting.
- 46:38Speaker 1: But when it comes to my name in my crib
- 46:41Speaker 1: and what's going on with my bills and all that,
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm up to date and I'm fine. So you got
- 46:46Speaker 1: the wrong information, you got the wrong the wrong person,
- 46:49Speaker 1: or the wrong information on the right house, whatever it is.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But this is not My house is definitely not going
- 46:54Speaker 1: in the foreclosure. But this fills like it's my woman.
- 46:57Speaker 1: You get me, so I So my whole thing is
- 47:00Speaker 1: is I don't even know why you're calling. My house
- 47:02Speaker 1: is definitely not for sale. It's now or not on
- 47:05Speaker 1: for going a foreclosure. I'm not behind on my bells, Sir,
- 47:08Speaker 1: I'm telling you what my books say, and this is
- 47:11Speaker 1: all I'm looking at. Legitimate, this legal paper money. Ye,
- 47:14Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you is this, I don't
- 47:16Speaker 1: care about your bucks. Read what I'm read. Read what
- 47:19Speaker 1: I'm writing to you. I'm up to date on my mortgage.
- 47:22Speaker 1: You're just the realtor. So my whole thing is, you're not.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Nobody's selling my house. My house is now okay, no, no no,
- 47:28Speaker 1: let's let's back up. Let's go back to you, just
- 47:30Speaker 1: a real You're not gonna talk to me like that. Now.
- 47:32Speaker 1: I'm a realtor and I'm a person. That's that's that's
- 47:34Speaker 1: on top of my game. Your house is going into foreclosure. Now.
- 47:37Speaker 1: You can be a denial if you want to be.
- 47:39Speaker 1: But I'm just trying to get on top of everything
- 47:41Speaker 1: and get you know, try to sell the house as
- 47:43Speaker 1: soon as it hits the market. So I know what
- 47:46Speaker 1: I'm not. You don't know. My man looks not thinking
- 47:50Speaker 1: the foreclosure dude. So so so if I'm looking at
- 47:53Speaker 1: paperwork here, why am I looking at paperwork that has
- 47:56Speaker 1: your address on it? Sir? That's not like a personal plan.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Ibously you now top of your well, you know the
- 48:02Speaker 1: personal problem. You're gonna be yours when they when they

- 48:11Speaker 1: don't knock on my door, don't call my don't call
- 48:14Speaker 1: none of that. Nobody's coming to my house knocking on
- 48:16Speaker 1: the door, trying to put me out of my house.
- 48:17Speaker 1: And on top of that a foreclosure. It takes a
- 48:20Speaker 1: long time. Well, that's what I mean. This is, this is,
- 48:24Speaker 1: this is this has been in there a long time.
- 48:26Speaker 1: It's coming up in the next couple of weeks. That's
- 48:29Speaker 1: what I'm telling you. What paperwork do you have? I
- 48:33Speaker 1: am looking at paperwork? What bank? What do you even
- 48:35Speaker 1: even know what bank did? Is it selling the house
- 48:38Speaker 1: or trying to put me in foreclosures? Now? Are you
- 48:40Speaker 1: with do you? Are you with First Fidelity? That's concern? Okay?
- 48:46Speaker 1: Will you just asked me, sir, you just asked me.
- 48:49Speaker 1: That's what's on this paperwork and the foreclosures. You got
- 48:52Speaker 1: the wrong paperwork when you at the wrong hand dress
- 48:54Speaker 1: to Tampa, somebody else's shoot, Okay, this is your address.
- 48:58Speaker 1: It is the right square foot it is the right
- 49:00Speaker 1: hand set entertaining you right now. On man, I'm telling
- 49:04Speaker 1: you I'm not isn't going in the foreclosure. Okay, you
- 49:07Speaker 1: know what. You're getting angry with me, but really, if
- 49:09Speaker 1: you have paid your bills, you wouldn't be in this situation.
- 49:11Speaker 1: You know what I mean. I'm paying my bills, but
- 49:15Speaker 1: if literally you're not paying yours because you're on your
- 49:17Speaker 1: way in the foreclosure. And now you're getting upset with
- 49:19Speaker 1: me when I'm just a realtor calling trying to trying
- 49:22Speaker 1: to catch funny to me, this is funny. I'm on
- 49:25Speaker 1: thank handle my business barbecue right now. Dude, I'm not
- 49:29Speaker 1: this zero. Let's just general fear of me going in
- 49:33Speaker 1: the foreclosure. The attitude is not necessary. Matter of fact,
- 49:36Speaker 1: this is probably this is probably your last barbecue on
- 49:42Speaker 1: the deck, so enjoy that. Look you come over here
- 49:45Speaker 1: and call me again. You'll be on the phone. Bro,
- 49:47Speaker 1: You got me. All I'm telling you is this right here. Bro,
- 49:49Speaker 1: they come in to closure, house out in two weeks.
- 49:52Speaker 1: All I wanted was the schematics on your house. That's
- 49:55Speaker 1: all I wanted. Well, obviously you have all information you need.
- 49:58Speaker 1: You already know more about what's going on with my
- 50:00Speaker 1: personal fans than I do. But I'm gonna tell you
- 50:02Speaker 1: it's gonna be a problem to come out nas to
- 50:04Speaker 1: my fucking door. Okay, Well, I need to come up
- 50:07Speaker 1: and take a look at my house getting foreclosed on that.
- 50:10Speaker 1: That's not how it works, all right. I need to
- 50:12Speaker 1: come up and take some pictures of the house. So
- 50:14Speaker 1: is that gonna be? Get the internet? Get off the internet.
- 50:17Speaker 1: But you got the wrong. I need to come in.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I need to come inside, sir and see the condition
- 50:21Speaker 1: of the house. Yeah, you for me right, I'm not

- 53:56Speaker 1: is part two of a letter we had a couple
- 53:58Speaker 1: of weeks ago from a young lady who So she
- 54:02Speaker 1: only wrote in once before. Yeah, and what's the background
- 54:05Speaker 1: on her now? Well, she was dating an older man, remember,
- 54:09Speaker 1: and the man was as old as his father as
- 54:12Speaker 1: her father. Uh, she didn't know where she stood with
- 54:15Speaker 1: this guy. He took her. They dated for a few years,
- 54:20Speaker 1: and he took her to two company functions that he had,
- 54:23Speaker 1: in other words, just kind of pushing her off into
- 54:25Speaker 1: the background. And she really liked him. But you know,
- 54:28Speaker 1: oh didn't introduce her as his woman did, said her name.
- 54:33Speaker 1: He wasn't claiming her right exactly. So she's written in again. Yeah,
- 54:40Speaker 1: so right in, like, pretty young thing, we could be
- 54:42Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 54:44Speaker 1: going to read this one right here, right now, Bay,
- 54:47Speaker 1: hold on tight here it is thank you nephew, subject
- 54:52Speaker 1: pretty young thing with a scary older man. Part two.
- 54:56Speaker 1: This one says dear Stephen Shirley, I am the pretty
- 54:59Speaker 1: young thing that wrote you about my lover that is
- 55:02Speaker 1: the same age as my father. I took Shirley's advice
- 55:05Speaker 1: and asked my lover if the relationship was going anywhere
- 55:09Speaker 1: or if it was just a fling. He told me
- 55:11Speaker 1: that in due time, our relationship would get to the
- 55:14Speaker 1: next level. I didn't like his answer, so I broke
- 55:17Speaker 1: it off with him. Two days later, he sent flowers
- 55:20Speaker 1: to my job and my house. I still ignored him.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I woke up a few days later to a new
- 55:26Speaker 1: twenty twenty BMW in my driveway with a note that
- 55:30Speaker 1: said be my wife BMW in parentheses. He gave me
- 55:35Speaker 1: the keys and I was flattered, but I told him
- 55:38Speaker 1: no thanks. He left the car at my house. I
- 55:41Speaker 1: was never in it for his money and nice gifts.
- 55:44Speaker 1: He popped up at my house two days later, and
- 55:46Speaker 1: I decided it was time to have a conversation with
- 55:49Speaker 1: him about popping up at my house, popping up at
- 55:53Speaker 1: my house and my job, and buying me a car
- 55:56Speaker 1: that I don't need before I would. Before I could
- 55:58Speaker 1: say anything, dropped to one knee and asked me to
- 56:02Speaker 1: marry him. I was flattered and caught off guard, but
- 56:05Speaker 1: I didn't say yes. I told him we need to
- 56:08Speaker 1: talk about a few things first. He said we had
- 56:11Speaker 1: plenty of time to talk because he'll always be around
- 56:14Speaker 1: and he will never let me go. I prayed about
- 56:18Speaker 1: the proposal, and I talked to him in spurts, but
- 56:21Speaker 1: something still didn't seem right with him. Two weeks later,
- 56:25Speaker 1: a male coworker came by to drop some papers off
- 56:28Speaker 1: to me. He came in with a bouquet of flowers
- 56:31Speaker 1: and said they were from my dad, who was sitting
- 56:34Speaker 1: out front when he pulled up. Wow. I looked out
- 56:39Speaker 1: the door and my ex lover was sitting there. Then
- 56:43Speaker 1: he texted me to say he met my little boy,
- 56:46Speaker 1: my little friend, and he seems nice. Now I'm worried.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Is my lover just being a little jealous or is
- 56:53Speaker 1: he full full blown crazy and possessive. Would I'd be
- 56:57Speaker 1: making a mistake if I marry him? Please ad eyes, Yes,
- 57:01Speaker 1: you would be making a mistake if you married him.
- 57:04Speaker 1: That's number one. And I gotta say welcome back to you,
- 57:08Speaker 1: pretty young thing. Thank you for writing us back. And
- 57:11Speaker 1: I'm glad you took my advice because to me, the
- 57:15Speaker 1: red flags were always there, Um, you just weren't seeing them. PYT.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I'm glad you're listening to your gut now though, because
- 57:24Speaker 1: Papa or Zaddi or scary older man whatever you're calling him,
- 57:28Speaker 1: is he's really stalking you? I mean showing up at
- 57:32Speaker 1: your house and your job unannounced. There's no way he
- 57:36Speaker 1: should be sitting in your driveway without calling you. Uh
- 57:39Speaker 1: you ask if he's full, full blown crazy and possessive.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I would have to say yes, And I would say,
- 57:46Speaker 1: you don't want to hang around and find out, now,
- 57:49Speaker 1: do you so? Uh? No, I don't think you should
- 57:53Speaker 1: marry him. Um, I don't think, you know, it's sincere
- 57:58Speaker 1: on his part. I think he thinks that he can
- 58:02Speaker 1: buy you because you're young and you're you know, you
- 58:06Speaker 1: don't have as much life experience as he does. You know.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I think some of that possessiveness and probably some control
- 58:12Speaker 1: will come in at a later time. And absolutely no,
- 58:16Speaker 1: you did the right thing by breaking it off. And
- 58:19Speaker 1: your gut tells you that something's not quite right. Listen
- 58:22Speaker 1: to your gut, all right, stay away from this guy, Steve,
- 58:29Speaker 1: pretty young thing, scale old man. Here you go dating
- 58:34Speaker 1: this old dude? Told you told you you took Shareley's
- 58:39Speaker 1: advice and you asked her love if the relationship was
- 58:41Speaker 1: going anywhere. Here's where the letter gets interested or was
- 58:44Speaker 1: it just a fleet? He told me in due time,
- 58:48Speaker 1: our relationship would get to the next level. All people
- 58:53Speaker 1: don't have a lot of due time. They didn't used
- 58:57Speaker 1: up all the time that was due them. They're on
- 59:00Speaker 1: borrow time. Now he's lived longer than he got left.
- 59:07Speaker 1: So what does he mean in due time? We're gonna
- 59:10Speaker 1: get to the next level? You old? You order you
- 59:12Speaker 1: at the level? What level you going to? You're the
- 59:18Speaker 1: same age as her daddy? Where is your next level?
- 59:24Speaker 1: You ain't ain't what what You're gonna qualify for a
- 59:29Speaker 1: ALLP benefits? What? All right? I didn't like his answer,
- 59:35Speaker 1: so I broke it off. Two days later, here didn't
- 59:38Speaker 1: come flowers to your job and to the house. You
- 59:43Speaker 1: woke up a few days later brand new twenty twenty
- 59:46Speaker 1: BMW was in my driveway. Note that said be my
- 59:49Speaker 1: wife BMW. He gave me the keys. I was flattered

- 1:00:07Speaker 1: did you? Why not? Oh? You might not have been

- 1:00:12Speaker 1: is a pretty nice ass guilt. Yeah. Well, I come back.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I'll finished the letter, all right, Steve. We'll have part
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: after the hour, today's subject pretty young thing with the
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: scary older man. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: strawberry letter, Pretty young thing with the scary older man.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: This is actually part two, all right, old dude and
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: finally trying to win her back. She told him me,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: toodn't happened. She's sending flowers now he'd sent the call.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: She says she don't need the call. But after two
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: days later, it was time to have a carversation with
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: him about popping up at his house and her job
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: at her house, and her job and buying your cottage
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: she didn't need. Before I could say anything, he dropped
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: on one knee and asked me to marry him. Did
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: you have to help him back up? That's how you
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: want to know. You need to know that he dropped
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: on one knee. Did you hear something? Crack? I was
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: flattered and caught off God, but I didn't say yes.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I told him we need to talk about a few
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: things first. He said he had plenty of time. No,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: he don't. He why he keep throwing away time like
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: he got a bunch of it, he said, in due time.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Earlier due time came two days later. Because he knows
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: his ass ain't got no more due time. He out
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: of all that time and not then this next one
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: he come talking about. And then she told him we
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: got to talk about a few things. He said, We
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: had plenty of time to talk. Why you old, you
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: ain't got plenty of nothing left? You got to hear up,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: said he would always be around in here, never letting
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: me go. Damn one thing about taking vials with the
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: older persons, were gonna see one thing about taking vials
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: with the old last person we're gonna see through sickness
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: and in health that ought to be soon for rich
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: poor might already be on his retirement to death. Do
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: us part that could happen. So I prayed about the proposal,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: and I talked to him in spurts, but something still
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: didn't seem right with him. That's because you ain't about it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: It's something ain't right. So why why are we still talking?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: All right? He came. Two weeks later, a male co
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: worker came by to drop some papers off to me. Oh,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I guess because this quarantine. So he come by the
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: house dropped some papers. He came in with a bouquet
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: flowers and said they was from my dad who was
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: sitting out in front when he pulled off. Daddy, Now
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: you let him in the house. I guess you ain't
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: worried about social distancing here in the house. And he
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: had the bouquet, so you was and oh this is
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: cute yt some flowers. But then he was from what
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: he thought was your daddy sitting outside. I looked out
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the doing your ass level was sitting there just as calm.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: He ain't say nothing to to do. You know why.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: He didn't want to run off into that ass whipping
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: see that young ass. The boy, he didn't say a
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: damn thing, that young ad bo you're doing over the
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: What what's you going in there for? He saw the
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: big mosle bound dude and say, hey, do my favorite
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: son KD flowers in there? Give him the hook? Why
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: are you her dad? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, none of that.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Say hold on, partner, what you're doing overhill? Where you going?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: This is my woman? What? None of that? This is
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: how old he is? Oh man, huh yeah. But he
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: ain't that he that other fifty. He ain't like Tommy fifty. No,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: this dude on the he on he that fifty where
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you know it? Fifty could damn there'll be seventy seventy,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: he texted. She texts inside, Yeah, I met your little friend.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: He seemed nice. What who do that? Met your little friend?
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: He seemed nice. Took my flowers in there for you.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Now I'm worried. Is my lover justin little jealous or
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: is he full blown crazy and possessing? What do you think? Now?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Listen to me, young lady. You've prayed about this, and
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: then right after that you said something still don't feel right?
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: That was your answer. Now anything after this, you're trying
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: to do something you want to do. Now you gotta
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: corn to dryway that you don't need, you don't want.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I don't know who don't need to? I know it was.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Would I be making a big mistake if I marry him?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Hell yet, see listen to the viales. Through sickness and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in health, his ass fitning to get sick soon for

- 1:05:50Speaker 1: do you think that's been happened? You find you Finn
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: to have an interesting marriage, because all your vows it's
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: gonna be test. Yeah you finished, Oh yoh, y'all, oh
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: you finished. Go through all the vials in the next
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: ten years, sickness and health, Richard for poor death, du
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: us part, leave all others and cleave only onto him,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Wash me thine own self. All that you've finn to
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: do that you finn be. You don't even know it,

- 1:08:04Speaker 1: got to wait until they let us announce the nomination.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: And Steve, do you remember the time me and you
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: was backstage at the Daytime Emmies and we kind of
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: looked at each other like we made it. You know
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You got one of the biggest game
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: shows a matter of fact, the biggest game show and
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: family few and I want people to watch and see,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you know, because you just never know if you're gonna

- 1:08:31Speaker 1: want to be, you know, kind of acknowledged for the
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: good stuff you do, just like we want to be
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: acknowledged for the good stuff we do. So we want

- 1:08:45Speaker 1: they we're doing the nominees. We're doing nominee today, so
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: we want everybody to watch it. And then we want

- 1:09:00Speaker 1: So we want you how to watch it. You never
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen. You know what I'm saying. I
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: got to dress up from the top half of whatever's
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: going on, you know what I'm saying. But I'm really
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: just excited about it. I'm excited about you. And let
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: me tell you why I'm excited about daytime. I never thought,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you know, people think daytime is where your dreams go
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to die. You know what I'm saying, when your careers on, No,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that's what people think. I don't tell you something. People
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: think you an actor if you're doing soap properus something
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: wrong with your career. Let me tell you something. Some
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: big careers been in soap operas. Look at what Steve doing.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something. To go from depth comedy
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: jam to the talk on CBS, to go from pet
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: comic view from the too to talk on CBS for
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: my life, for me to go to be on CBS
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: every day talking. If that ain't God, I don't know
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: what it is. It's proud, you know, girl. That's come. Okay, Charles,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I know you're trying to close the break, but were
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: praising God right now? Amen. Hell, it's Reality Update coming
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour right after this.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: You're listening Stow, Tommy and you do that. Girl. She's
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: here right here, right now. Let's get it. Let's get it.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: The one and only call A Farrell is here with
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: what reality update? Thank you, nephew. Okay, guys, here we
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: go Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion virtually Oh Cheap, Part two.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Shirley said again. All right. So Porsche said that she
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: and her fiance Dennis are quarantine together with the baby
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and that she was hurt by rumors that he was
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: out with other women before the pandemic, So she's dealing
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: with that, trying to work out her relationship with her
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: baby daddy. Dennis Porscha also feels like Kenya is full
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: of it. Some feel like Kenya can this shit, but
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: she can't take it. Cynthia is the same. Her attitude
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: is that these women are dysfunctional. She said it's a sisterhood,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: but it's like drama between them. So I'm like okay, Yeah,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I was like, okay, that's that's There are no group
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: of women who behave that way towards one each other. No,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: let's stay on the reality show. That's not a sisterhood.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Let's see Kenya. What I found out about her during
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Reunion Part two surely is that she holds on the stuff.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: She just not lets stuff go. And remember when no,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: you remember when Marlowe crashed When when Kenya crashed Carlos
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Hair wig line party and she came in there with
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: the marching band, Well that was a pad. That was
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: payback for Marlowe from a few seasons before when they
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: were talking about Kenny's hair products being water. So this
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: is all, yeah, this is Kenya shade. This is what
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: she does. So Kenya is is excuse me the Tommy
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: because yeah, Tommy don't let go. Kenya equals Timmy. Yeah,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Jordan ain't letting nothing go. Y'all, ain't man at Jordan,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: y'all man at me? Jordan, your son, Michael Jordan, Oh,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Michael Jordan. Were to get on it at Steve, I
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: love it right, he's tall. So anyway, then you know, Kenya,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: she did apologize. She did say she went too far
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: with the whole thing with the Cookie Lady bringing her
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to brunch with Tanya because Tanya's man, according to Kenya,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: was flirting with the Cookie Lady and she called Tanya
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: a name. I was horrible. How can you treat it? Tanya?
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: And Kenya said that she did go too far with that,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and so she did apologize for that. Nannie and Kenny
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: got into it. Oh my goodness, it was ugly. NIE's careful.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Canny ain't no game, No, she's not. And we're gonna
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: talking about Candy, Candy doing big things. So anyway, they
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: got into it, and Nani felt that certain people on
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: the show get spent offs all the time. She didn't
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: say it was Candy, but Candy felt like she was
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: talking about her. Take a listen, Yeah that's all. You
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: can't says by stop seeing me because I can't. You
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: can you know that Candy me, I forget about you've
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: been knowing me before I got German singing my songs,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: my song. They won't forget about you and your outfit.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: You've been me knowing me. I haven't it, briann't bet
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: it ain't y'all Brian down. We haven't singing them song. Yeah,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: that's that's what Candy's way was like, you've been knowing me.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: You've been been knowing me right before this reality show.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: You you knew who I was, so yeah, it was
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: you know, Candy is the one that's always had had
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: a career, always had a business aptitude. Candy's always been
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the one. Yeah, I mean, you know, always have something
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: going on, you know yea. And speaking of Candy, that
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: the talent right, and that argument was so bad Andy
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: had to mute them because it was just too much. So,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: speaking of Candy, drum roll, I'm gonna lest Shirley Strawberry
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: to this announcement. Last night, the reality competition Singing Shell
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the Mask singer Candy Barris was the Night Angel and
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: she is what the what Shirley is? She won the
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Golden Mask. Candy one. I know Candy can really sing.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: That Night Angel proved it Carlin. Yes, so shout out
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: to Candy Bars. She is doing big things. So Ninny,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you will be remembered. Okay, all right, we'll be back
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: at twenty after the hour you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: So our forever first Lady Missus Michelle Obama had a

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: was her special guest on Monday. Uh. They teamed up
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: to read a children's book. It was called The bear
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Hure Sandwich. They wanted to get huh okay almost, I'm
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: not trying to How was that, Tommy? Oh the children

- 1:16:13Speaker 1: It was a thirteen minute video. The Obama's traded off
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: reading between pages and laughed as they made sound effects
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: to bring the story to life. The bear Hure Sandwich
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: is about a bear who finds an abandoned sandwich, eats it,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: and eventually finds his way home through a series of adventures. So, Junior,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: you're going to start reading books too, right? What's your

- 1:18:24Speaker 1: in the naving. I got one here with me. He's
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: a fifteen. How's she doing at home? Being doing this
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: whole situation? He's doing fine to a home free for
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: other than that, he's he's on that for with her
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: friends and all. But wasn't that she's doing great? Oh?
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: For sure? Man, your wife doing all right. I'm looking
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: at it right now. If you're doing fine, so you
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: to me, Hello, Timmy, how you doing? We're doing a
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: wellness check? You all right? I'm great, I'm wonderful. It's
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Kenny taking care of you. He's doing the best you can.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: You really get to know somebody when you're home all
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: the time. Hey man, I've been. I've been locked in
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: my house when my wife says march, I know exactly
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: what you're talking about. But I know exactly how I've
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: learned how to be quiet. That's what I've learned, how
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: to there you go, you go. I'm not gonna win.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: You're not gonna win. The argument threw up. Hey man,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I just wanted to call man and say hello man
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: and on behalf of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: doing the wellness checking Kenny, you got you fell on
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: my list man out of flying South Carolina. So brother,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: much love to you, your wife, your daughter, your your son.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: That's the way in the military. And just keep being safe. Man.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Thank you, Tommy Man, you take care. I love all y'all. Man,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: y'all be good. Hey, one more thing, Kenny, tell everybody
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the badest radio show in the land. Man, you already
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: know it. That Steve Harvey Morning Joe, come on with
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: it now. Great job. Is always thinking that you coming up.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: It's the last break of the day. It's the last
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: break this damn day. Was it a long day for you, Steve.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: We have some closing remarks from you coming up right
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after that's right after this you're
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: listening to show. All Right, here we are our last
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: break of the day. It's been a good day. I
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: want to say thank you. I want to say quickly
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: thank you to everyone who joined me last night. Yeah,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: last night it was fun at them on Instagram. W
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: h u R everybody in DC. It was live. I
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: was on with my girl, Angela stribbling, the beautiful Angela stribbling.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: It was a lot of fun. So thank you. Carla
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: was there. Thank you, Carla. Yes, so thanks to everyone.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: You'll be there next week, Carla. Yes. Checking. All right, Steve,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: whenever you're ready, give us something deep, Steve or shallow,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. Yeah, let's let's just state something that's
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: a little wit and it might not be deep. I
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: just like to keep encouraging people because you know, man,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I'm just going to reiterate some things I've said to
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: you earlier. This situation that we find ourselves in, you
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: have a lot to do with the outcome of it.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: And you may not think so, but you really do.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Because how you mentally accept what's going on and how
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you mentally level yourself up to whatever type of expectation
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: or whatever you envision that's happening to you right now,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: we'll pay will play a major role and when this
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: is over, how you're feeling, how you'll recover, and how
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: you'll move forward. But you've got to take the misery
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: aspect out of it, because it's something that we're all
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: dealing with now. It's levels to it. But this is
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: the first time like I said, in this world that
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I know of every friend that I talked, no matter
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: what continent, we WhatsApp, we talk on the phone, we text,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: whatever the situation is, we all have this one thing
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: in common. We are all trying to stay safe. That's
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the deal. We are all trying to stay safe. And
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: now look, since that's the commonality of this whole thing,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: why is it? Why do you think some people seem
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: to be faring better than others? And a lot of
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: it has to do with your mental attitude. A lot
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: of it has to do with your mental attitude. You
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: can look at this glass as half empty or half full.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I refuse to look at my glass as half empty.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: The God I serve is too big for that. He
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: can do anything. Anything is possible with him. Anything. You
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: can't get in a hole too deep that God can't
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: come get you out of it, You just can't. You can't.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: And if you're a person of faith, you have to
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: apply that principle of success to you and you have
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: to share with other people, you know, like Tommy does
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: these wellness checks on the radio, call some people and
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: give them the good news that everything is gonna be.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I was walking down the street the other day. We
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: don't have sidewalks in my neighborhood, just one on this
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: one section, but most of it just you have to
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: get in, just get out the road when cars come. Right.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: This lady has a sign out in front of her
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: house and it simply says everything is going to be okay.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: She just took a homemade sign and put it out
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: in front of her house. And when I walked past
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: her house, I just smiled. I've never met this lady.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: I don't know anything about it, but she said everything
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: is gonna be okay. And you know what, I believe
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: that I never thought this was doomed for me. I've
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: never allowed my children to think this is doomed for them.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Us on the Steve Harvey Morning Show do not look
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: at this as doomed for us. We get up every
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: day realizing that we've got to put a sparkle in
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: somebody's day that might not have it. I fight through
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: these closing remarks day after day after day, trying to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: say something encouraging to you. We try to uplift you
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: with the pranks, the poets, the laughter, the entertainment, all
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: of it. We just trying to give it to you
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: in some sense of normality, because the world we live
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: in today is forever going to be changed. Social distancing
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: is real. Don't let these people fool you about this government.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Don't let these people talk you out there too early.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: You know better, smarter than this. They don't have a vaccine,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: they don't have a cure. Say opening up all of
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: this because they care more about money than they care
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: about us. Now, it's get the economy back. Now. Listen
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: to me. I'm not blind. I'm not a noncompassionate person.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: If I was in a situation why I had to
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: maybe go out there because I had to feed my
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: family and provide, I'm gonna go back to work. I'm
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: gonna be honest with you. I get in. If you
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: got I would have, I would go That's my job
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: is to take care of my family, So I get it.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: I would go out there myself and go to work.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: But outside of work, what you're doing. Look, go to
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: the beach, go to the park, but practice social distancing.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: But listen to me, you're gonna be fine. Some of
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: these jobs you've been hating anyway, you're gonna get a
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: chance to get a new job. Some of the some
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: of you all have should have been opening up a business.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Maybe not working is gonna get you that. Some of
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: you all are gonna be forced to go back to
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: school like you've always talked about something. It's some good
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: gonna come out of this. Don't look at it as negative. Man.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: You're gonna be all right. You will be okay. You
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: will survive this. I don't know how you think you won't.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: You will survive this. You will be fine. I'm gonna
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: be fine. Everybody gonna be okay. If you don't lose
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: your life behind this, You're gonna survive this and be fine. Okay.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Keep your head up, y'all. Keep your head up. It's
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: mom all day weekend coming up. It'll be just like Monday.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Enjoy yourself. Don't drive at all. Yeah, at home. For
