- 2:05Speaker 7: the voice, Come on dig me now one and only
- 2:08Speaker 7: uh huh Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Mm here I do.
- 2:15Speaker 7: Man. God been so good to me over the years,
- 2:18Speaker 7: in spite of all the mistakes I've made, in spite
- 2:22Speaker 7: of all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking
- 2:27Speaker 7: about went in knowing I was wrong. His grace and
- 2:31Speaker 7: mercy has forgiven me for all of my sins. God
- 2:37Speaker 7: can forgive you of all of your sins. Everything you've done,
- 2:42Speaker 7: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now,
- 2:47Speaker 7: might you might have some you know, things you got
- 2:49Speaker 7: to deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that,
- 2:53Speaker 7: but you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 7: slate clean with God. And start again. You can repent.
- 3:00Speaker 7: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God.
- 3:04Speaker 7: Now people, AD's another story. Some people may never forgive
- 3:08Speaker 7: you for you've heard them, or or maybe they accusing
- 3:11Speaker 7: you of doing something else. But you know they may
- 3:13Speaker 7: never forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption
- 3:17Speaker 7: business man. God will forgive you for every sin you've
- 3:21Speaker 7: ever committed. But you gotta want forgiveness now, and then
- 3:25Speaker 7: you got to come correct because what you can't do
- 3:27Speaker 7: is you can't shoot him the crap.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Now, you can say that conversation with him.
- 3:32Speaker 7: You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever you told
- 3:37Speaker 7: the victims, whatever you told, whatever the story is you
- 3:41Speaker 7: got going, if it ain't the truth, you can say
- 3:44Speaker 7: that with God, because please know, he know, and he
- 3:47Speaker 7: know your heart. He know if you're trying to manipulate
- 3:50Speaker 7: somebody just for the system, if you're trying to say
- 3:53Speaker 7: this just so you can get out, He know.
- 3:56Speaker 2: All of that.
- 3:56Speaker 7: So if you're planning on shucking him and driving him,
- 3:59Speaker 7: save your breath before you wind up digging yourself in
- 4:02Speaker 7: a deeper hole. Just let me give you that piece
- 4:05Speaker 7: of advice. Because he ain't nothing to play with he's
- 4:07Speaker 7: too great to be played with. And so with that
- 4:11Speaker 7: in mind, I want to share some positive stuff with
- 4:13Speaker 7: you this morning.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Man.
- 4:14Speaker 7: I want to say this. I want to remind you
- 4:17Speaker 7: not to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your
- 4:22Speaker 7: future or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This
- 4:27Speaker 7: is important information.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Man.
- 4:29Speaker 7: Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate your future or
- 4:35Speaker 7: your results. Do you know that in order to get
- 4:40Speaker 7: a different future or some different results, you control that
- 4:44Speaker 7: entire situation.
- 4:46Speaker 2: It is you. It is your thoughts that control the
- 4:50Speaker 2: entire situation.
- 4:51Speaker 7: It is how you look at the situation that will
- 4:54Speaker 7: determine how the situation is for you. See, the same
- 4:58Speaker 7: situation can be different for two different people because you
- 5:02Speaker 7: can say you look at the examples of history, just
- 5:04Speaker 7: just look.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Look in your neighborhood.
- 5:06Speaker 7: How can There was a book that a guy wrote
- 5:09Speaker 7: one time who had the name. He had a name,
- 5:12Speaker 7: and he did some research and he found a god
- 5:15Speaker 7: that grew up at the same age in the same
- 5:18Speaker 7: neighborhood as him, with the exact same name.
- 5:22Speaker 2: He went on to become a corporate CEO.
- 5:25Speaker 7: The other man was an inmate and they had the
- 5:31Speaker 7: same name grew up in this same neighborhood. They were
- 5:35Speaker 7: both brothers, you know not I'm just saying brothers men,
- 5:40Speaker 7: And they grew and they went to Because how can
- 5:42Speaker 7: two different two people the same situation and the results
- 5:46Speaker 7: turn out so different? It is because of the thought
- 5:49Speaker 7: process of one was completely different from the thought process
- 5:53Speaker 7: of the other. You control it. You don't have to
- 5:55Speaker 7: let your circumstances and your situations dictate your future or
- 6:00Speaker 7: your results. Here's the way it works. This is so
- 6:04Speaker 7: you can understand this. Your mind is the controlling factor
- 6:09Speaker 7: of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the controlling factor of
- 6:14Speaker 7: your outcome. The Bible says a man is as he thinketh.
- 6:19Speaker 7: Please don't short play this scripture here, because this one
- 6:23Speaker 7: is the real deal. This is the basis of every
- 6:27Speaker 7: self improvement book you'll ever read. It's already written in
- 6:31Speaker 7: the Bible. The Bible has all the information you need.
- 6:34Speaker 7: But in case you need a little bit of clarity
- 6:36Speaker 7: in some simple modern day language, then they have self
- 6:39Speaker 7: improvement books. They are all based on Biblical scripture. A
- 6:43Speaker 7: man is as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent Peale
- 6:47Speaker 7: wrote the book The Power of Positive Thinking. That's why
- 6:51Speaker 7: a book came out called The Magic of Thinking Big.
- 6:54Speaker 7: That's why a book came out called Think and Grow
- 6:56Speaker 7: Rich by Napoleon.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Hell, all of you.
- 7:00Speaker 7: All these titles that I've read that have mattered in
- 7:03Speaker 7: my life the most, These three major books that I've read,
- 7:06Speaker 7: they all say one thing. Think thinking thoughts, because that's
- 7:10Speaker 7: what controls the outcome. Your brain works one of two ways.
- 7:18Speaker 7: It works positive or negative. It works good, which is
- 7:24Speaker 7: under the column of positive, or to work evil, which
- 7:28Speaker 7: is under the column of negative. It will have faith,
- 7:32Speaker 7: which is under the column of positive, or you will
- 7:35Speaker 7: operate in fear, which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 2: That is the only way your mind works.
- 7:42Speaker 7: Your mind is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those
- 7:47Speaker 7: workers are controlled by two foremans, forming positive and forming negative.
- 7:53Speaker 7: But guess what the CEO of the company, the headman,
- 7:58Speaker 7: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 8:02Speaker 7: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:06Speaker 7: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 7: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:13Speaker 7: true that I've been thinking about. I'm gonna take another
- 8:16Speaker 7: step forward in the development and the changing of my
- 8:19Speaker 7: life in a.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Positive good direction. If you come to work and say
- 8:23Speaker 2: that every.
- 8:24Speaker 7: Day as the CEO the boss, the foremans can only
- 8:28Speaker 7: obey you. So what you just said was a series
- 8:31Speaker 7: of positive statements then forming positive steps to the forefront.
- 8:36Speaker 2: He said, I got your boss right away. He turns around, he.
- 8:39Speaker 7: Blows the whistle sh He alerts all the workers in
- 8:43Speaker 7: the factory. Today is a good day. Today we will
- 8:46Speaker 7: take steps towards our future. Today we are putting ourselves
- 8:50Speaker 7: on track to get a little bit closer to making our.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Dreams come true.
- 8:54Speaker 7: Today we will be assembling all the things we need
- 8:58Speaker 7: to make our dreams come true in our life.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Life better in the right direction. Everybody break.
- 9:03Speaker 7: The workers in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts
- 9:08Speaker 7: to justify the orders given by the boss, which is you.
- 9:14Speaker 7: You are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't
- 9:17Speaker 7: own nothing else, you own everything that's going on between
- 9:21Speaker 7: your two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation.
- 9:25Speaker 7: If that corporation is a good one, it's because you
- 9:28Speaker 7: set it up that way. If your corporation is a
- 9:30Speaker 7: bad one, it's because you set it up that day.
- 9:33Speaker 7: If you try and if you pushing towards your dreams,
- 9:36Speaker 7: and you see the possibility of things happening in your
- 9:39Speaker 7: life is because you, as the CEO, set it up
- 9:41Speaker 7: that way. If you ain't got nothing popping, if you
- 9:44Speaker 7: just want to be a criminal taking stuff from people,
- 9:46Speaker 7: throwing your life out the window, you're gonna be an inmate.
- 9:49Speaker 7: You're gonna be sitting there there, and you're gonna be
- 9:50Speaker 7: mad at everybody. You't got nobody be mad at. But
- 9:53Speaker 7: you you understand what I'm telling you this morning?
- 9:56Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen. This is a Steve Harvey Morty Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: You know what.
- 10:04Speaker 7: It just it comes again and again and again this
- 10:08Speaker 7: new day, and it only can happen because of the creator.
- 10:11Speaker 7: He just keeps doing it. Man, I'm so glad he shure.
- 10:14Speaker 2: You know what.
- 10:14Speaker 7: Man, he don't never miss. That's the thing about God,
- 10:18Speaker 7: he don't ever miss. You know, if these days was
- 10:22Speaker 7: counting on people to show up on time every day,
- 10:24Speaker 7: Son wouldn't come up. People be freezing talking about I forgot,
- 10:29Speaker 7: I overslept. God don't miss man show. Appreciate it. Steve Harvey,
- 10:34Speaker 7: Morny Show. Shelly Strawberry Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica Jr. And
- 10:38Speaker 7: the legend of nephew Tommy Jr. What's on your mind?
- 10:40Speaker 8: Man?
- 10:41Speaker 1: You know what, Dave Man, let me ask you something.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Let me ask you this.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Uh uh huh?
- 10:45Speaker 8: Who on this show up that you see right in
- 10:48Speaker 8: front of you? You know inspires you that?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Like on this show? Who inspires you?
- 10:52Speaker 3: Who?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Who?
- 10:54Speaker 7: All of y'all? All of y'all in certain ways. Shirley
- 10:58Speaker 7: gives me scriptures every morning.
- 11:01Speaker 9: You know.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Monica reminds me of that I can still make it
- 11:06Speaker 7: without my education because she got one and she got
- 11:08Speaker 7: a lot of degrees, and it reminds me I should
- 11:12Speaker 7: have hung in there maybe here, but I overcame in
- 11:15Speaker 7: any way. Then Carl is very consistent in her professionalism
- 11:19Speaker 7: and dedication to her job and juggling her family schedule
- 11:23Speaker 7: and everything. That's motivation. And then you know that's about it.
- 11:31Speaker 7: You other two, you.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Too, hold on, we don't.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So that's just the ladies, Me and Tommy.
- 11:40Speaker 8: You'll see us on him.
- 11:43Speaker 7: I see, yeah, you on as I know who can't
- 11:52Speaker 7: think they motivated me? I know who can't think that
- 11:56Speaker 7: because I can go down loan listen. Stuff that don't happen.
- 12:03Speaker 7: So that's just you know, you and Tommy make me
- 12:08Speaker 7: kind of proud to see y'all's effort. I think y'all
- 12:13Speaker 7: putting forth the right effort, you understand, and you're becoming
- 12:16Speaker 7: successful at it too. It's just a matter of time,
- 12:20Speaker 7: you know. Like you know, Tommy got multiple jobs. You
- 12:24Speaker 7: got multiple jobs, and that's the way you got to do.
- 12:26Speaker 7: You gotta stack you, You gotta stack your life. You know,
- 12:29Speaker 7: you're not depending on one thing to make it so
- 12:32Speaker 7: in that regard as, I'm proud of the work ethic
- 12:35Speaker 7: that y'all have and willingness to do more, extend yourself,
- 12:40Speaker 7: you know.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Well, but nothing spiritually.
- 12:43Speaker 1: We don't give you nothing.
- 12:44Speaker 7: Spiritually you're pressing, you're pressing. Yeah, gave you what I had.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Now.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Is Junior's poetry motivating? Is that him? Yeah?
- 12:59Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:59Speaker 7: Lets me know that people should do what they do
- 13:01Speaker 7: and stay out on other things. He ain't got no business, right,
- 13:04Speaker 7: no damn point? And Junior, how would you want to
- 13:07Speaker 7: motivate me spiritually?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Tell me that? Tell me that don't curious? Well, you
- 13:11Speaker 2: know what your man. I think you'd be.
- 13:12Speaker 8: Hard on yourself sometimes and I think you should take
- 13:15Speaker 8: more time out to go have some fun, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 8: just something like, you know, give me some brands and
- 13:20Speaker 8: stuff and you know, just sit around and talk.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Man, find would like to be regular like.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Us, you know, be more with us.

- 22:10Speaker 10: watched game in history.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 22:14Speaker 10: The Eagles victory parade is tomorrow in Philly, and the
- 22:18Speaker 10: NBA All Star Weekend in San Francisco has a star
- 22:21Speaker 10: studded lineup with Kevin Hart to short her and Raphael Sadiq.
- 22:26Speaker 10: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 22:28Speaker 10: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 22:31Speaker 10: ask the clo. This is from Lenae in Evanston clo.
- 22:36Speaker 10: Lenee writes, a new girl joined us for brunch Sunday,
- 22:39Speaker 10: and she asked me if I'm married to Wes. I
- 22:42Speaker 10: corrected her and said my husband's name is Wesley. She
- 22:45Speaker 10: smirked and said she knows him. That was very clear.
- 22:49Speaker 10: My husband said he didn't recognize her on the pictures.
- 22:52Speaker 10: Was that woman invited to brunch to be messy?
- 22:55Speaker 2: Came word smoke? Yeah, who invited me?
- 23:01Speaker 1: I guess somebody else.
- 23:04Speaker 7: Y'all, ladies, ladies, ladies, y'all stop stop doing that. Y'all,
- 23:08Speaker 7: y'all go to see y'all know, y'all know how y'all are.
- 23:11Speaker 7: Stop inviting new people. See, we dudes, we got our dudes.
- 23:15Speaker 7: You can't bring nobody with you.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 23:19Speaker 7: Now she had the brain something. It's West your husband.
- 23:22Speaker 7: His name is West Sleep the same thing. You know,
- 23:27Speaker 7: it's West your husband. So and then you gotta be careful.
- 23:32Speaker 7: Now you gotta be careful. Find out who invited her,
- 23:38Speaker 7: because that's where it's coming from.
- 23:40Speaker 5: M m yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yeah. And then the white.
- 23:45Speaker 7: That's in the Godfather. It ain't the message is who
- 23:49Speaker 7: bring the message? It's in the Godfather. You saw the movie.
- 23:53Speaker 10: Come on, Michael, yeah several times starting for you to
- 23:57Speaker 10: start sleeping with the fishes. All right, Moving on, No,
- 24:05Speaker 10: Kamisha and Flatbush says, I shot for an older woman
- 24:09Speaker 10: next door, and I take her dessert on Sundays. Lately,
- 24:12Speaker 10: it sounds like she's having sex late at night, but
- 24:15Speaker 10: I've never seen a man coming and going from her apartment.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Should I check in to see if she's okay over there?
- 24:22Speaker 2: You already know what's happening. To stop acting brand new.
- 24:24Speaker 7: If this sounds like she having sex and that ain't
- 24:27Speaker 7: nobody over there, that's what's happening.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Nobody with you all the time. You know what's happening good.
- 24:35Speaker 2: You don't never see him. He cold man, He had
- 24:38Speaker 2: a nice stand. You know what's in there?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Boy.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. I was at my partner's house,
- 24:46Speaker 2: we watching the game one time. This is years ago.
- 24:51Speaker 7: His little boy had went in that nice day and
- 24:53Speaker 7: drawing his mama's on his mama's side of the bed
- 24:57Speaker 7: and came out with.
- 24:58Speaker 2: This thing in his hand.
- 25:00Speaker 7: And we was just and were just standing in front
- 25:02Speaker 7: of the TV with it in his hand. We all
- 25:06Speaker 7: looked at it and we were his dad would thank
- 25:09Speaker 7: for the microphone.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Boy.
- 25:14Speaker 7: His daddy said, boy, come here, Jimmy, that what you're doing.
- 25:21Speaker 7: And then he disappeared with it. Right.
- 25:25Speaker 2: All I heard was his wife's street. Yeah it's out now. Yeah,
- 25:36Speaker 2: he just had it in his hand.
- 25:37Speaker 7: Just watching the game. He went stood right in front
- 25:39Speaker 7: of TV with it in his hand, and we're just
- 25:41Speaker 7: watching the game. I said, boy, this dude right here,
- 25:44Speaker 7: if you'll dwarf, you don't get that out.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Your hand doing the boat. Yeah all right.
- 25:52Speaker 10: Moving on to Alonzo in Lynchburg, Alonza writes, my son
- 25:56Speaker 10: is eighteen and his girlfriend is nineteen. I don't mind
- 25:59Speaker 10: if she stays over night at my house with my son.
- 26:02Speaker 10: Her mom thinks I'm making it too easy for them
- 26:04Speaker 10: to have sex. Sex is going to happen regardless. Is
- 26:08Speaker 10: it bad parenting to allow her to stay here?
- 26:13Speaker 2: Where it?
- 26:15Speaker 12: So?
- 26:15Speaker 2: Her mom thinks that he's making it too easy for
- 26:19Speaker 2: them to have sex.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah he is.
- 26:22Speaker 10: He is.
- 26:24Speaker 7: Your daughter can spend the night somewhere and stay at
- 26:28Speaker 7: your house.
- 26:30Speaker 1: And she's nineteen, she's nineteen.
- 26:32Speaker 2: He couldn't happen at my daddy house.
- 26:36Speaker 1: No at all.
- 26:38Speaker 2: It happened, but he couldn't it.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, he's giving them permission.
- 26:49Speaker 7: I'm the last person turned the key in this house
- 26:51Speaker 7: right here. Yeah, he is making it easy. It's going
- 26:54Speaker 7: to have He don't mind because men look at their
- 26:57Speaker 7: sons differently than their daughters. That it was his daughter,
- 27:01Speaker 7: he'd have real problem with it. But that's the double
- 27:05Speaker 7: standard that we live in. So yeah, he is making
- 27:07Speaker 7: it too easy for him. Yeah, it probably is gonna
- 27:10Speaker 7: happen because it's already happened, and once it starts, you're
- 27:13Speaker 7: not gonna stop it. But you don't have to condone
- 27:16Speaker 7: it though. Well, it's bad parenting if you're not having
- 27:20Speaker 7: the right conversation with your son.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Okay, all right, because if.
- 27:24Speaker 7: You gonna promote this, you also got to tell the
- 27:27Speaker 7: consequences of it too. And you're gonna lead this girl
- 27:30Speaker 7: in a horrible position if she wind up pregnant. A
- 27:33Speaker 7: little Punkins boy eighteen can't take care his damn self. See,
- 27:37Speaker 7: so you gotta tell both sides of it. You know,
- 27:40Speaker 7: it ain't about making it convenient for the boy. It's
- 27:42Speaker 7: making him understand the responsibility and consequences that come with it. Now,
- 27:48Speaker 7: that would be parenting. And then and then therefore, you
- 27:52Speaker 7: have to try to make it more difficult. You can't
- 27:54Speaker 7: just condone it, man. And they're gone and there, Man,
- 27:56Speaker 7: I ain't gonna have sex anyway. Okay, they're also gonna
- 27:59Speaker 7: have a baby. Yeah, did what your dumb ass gonna do?
- 28:03Speaker 7: Hold let the house now, Paul, Oh, you go to
- 28:06Speaker 7: take care of the baby, Paul, Paul, All right, thank you.

- 28:39Speaker 10: to keep doing it my way with two men. Is
- 28:42Speaker 10: that a bad thing?
- 28:43Speaker 2: This is from Philip. Well, there's another name for that.
- 28:45Speaker 2: It ain't. It ain't threesome.
- 28:48Speaker 7: Listen, it's started with a T, but it's not three
- 28:51Speaker 7: soon and your old last and jumped out here and
- 28:54Speaker 7: don't know what your terminology on the right right.
- 28:58Speaker 2: What happened to you was not okay.
- 29:05Speaker 7: You need to get your ass back over there with
- 29:08Speaker 7: Phyllis and journey them and get back at the bingo
- 29:11Speaker 7: because you don't even know what you're doing out here
- 29:14Speaker 7: talking about I had my first threesome.
- 29:16Speaker 2: That was no damn threesome. It was with two men.
- 29:20Speaker 2: That's not a threesome. Lady.
- 29:22Speaker 10: Mmmm, well, she said, yeah, that's what she said. She
- 29:26Speaker 10: thought that they were usually. She had no idea three
- 29:29Speaker 10: things were usually.
- 29:30Speaker 7: That's because you ain't had no idea. You're the little
- 29:32Speaker 7: old ass caboose. Listen to me, bingo, that's it. If
- 29:48Speaker 7: all of them sixty, you know, everybody ain't in shape
- 29:50Speaker 7: like us.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna just do a lot of high blood.
- 29:52Speaker 7: It could have been another rude in there because he
- 29:55Speaker 7: just couldn't leave for some reason. I don't know how
- 30:00Speaker 7: to waffle waffle wheel came of. Lot's a lot of
- 30:04Speaker 7: people just can't leave, you know.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Okay, let's a lot of medicine.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Thank you, Clo. Coming up at the top of the hour,

- 31:09Speaker 7: the other day and watched it, and he told he
- 31:14Speaker 7: showed me the symbolism that that that that boy did
- 31:18Speaker 7: something right there that was dope.
- 31:20Speaker 2: That was dope what he did. I didn't get it
- 31:22Speaker 2: at first, but I wasn't mad at it.

- 34:16Speaker 10: The NBA All Star Game is this weekend in San Francisco,
- 34:20Speaker 10: and according to Billboard dot com, Kevin Heart will be
- 34:23Speaker 10: the MC. Yet the NBA is trying something new this
- 34:26Speaker 10: year with hiring an MC to host various events throughout

- 34:39Speaker 10: The NBA All Star Weekend festivities kickoff tonight in San Francisco,
- 34:44Speaker 10: hosted by Kevin Hart.
- 34:46Speaker 12: I like it.
- 34:47Speaker 2: No, that's a great idea.
- 34:49Speaker 7: But if they don't fix this basketball game and this
- 34:53Speaker 7: dunk contest, and I'm not finn to watch these people
- 34:57Speaker 7: score two hundred points, I'm not Finna, and don't I don't.

- 35:11Speaker 2: You know, I did it.
- 35:11Speaker 7: I looked up something. Do you know the average NBA

- 48:17Speaker 12: Okay, all right, well now we got a bit of
- 48:21Speaker 12: a problem, but uh uh uh, they felt that it
- 48:25Speaker 12: would be best for me to call you and discuss
- 48:28Speaker 12: it with.
- 48:29Speaker 2: You and and let you know what the.
- 48:32Speaker 12: You know what they have agreed upon. I'm just basically
- 48:35Speaker 12: the messenger, and I'm just calling you to give you
- 48:37Speaker 12: the word of what's going on.
- 48:40Speaker 13: Okay, brother Greg, right, yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 12: Brother Greed brig agree.
- 48:45Speaker 5: You know, uh huh your wife.
- 48:47Speaker 12: Is in the choir, right, uh yeah, yeah.
- 48:51Speaker 13: Yeah, okay, okay, I know, I think I know.
- 48:53Speaker 12: Yeah, okay, okay, all right, Well, like I said, Sister Lee,
- 49:00Speaker 12: what the officials of the church are saying is that
- 49:04Speaker 12: they they're saying that they have reason to believe that
- 49:08Speaker 12: your sister has been having an affair with with pastors
- 49:14Speaker 12: and uh, your your sister, Melanie. They saying she's having
- 49:21Speaker 12: and had an affair with having an affair with pastor
- 49:26Speaker 12: not I'm, like I said, I'm just a messenger.
- 49:29Speaker 13: Okay, So why are y'all calling me about something Melany doing?
- 49:34Speaker 5: Well?
- 49:37Speaker 12: Like like I said, the officials had a meeting, and
- 49:40Speaker 12: what they're saying is this is nothing but a Jezebel spirit.
- 49:46Speaker 13: And what they don't want to wait, wait, wait a minute, rude,
- 49:50Speaker 13: Now come.
- 49:50Speaker 12: On, well, okay, I'm now you just hear me out.
- 49:56Speaker 12: Now they're saying that this is a Jezebel spirit and
- 50:00Speaker 12: they would rather all of the family not be welcome
- 50:07Speaker 12: at the church anymore.
- 50:09Speaker 13: Okay, first of all, where are you delivering a message
- 50:13Speaker 13: to me about my sister?

- 50:21Speaker 15: for people, So why are you calling me about my sister?
- 50:25Speaker 15: About a rumor? And now you're saying, y'all don't want
- 50:28Speaker 15: me in the church?
- 50:31Speaker 5: Is that's what you're saying.
- 50:34Speaker 12: For the entire family. So if you got some brothers, sisters, auntie,
- 50:41Speaker 12: they won't because they evidently all of the ladies in
- 50:44Speaker 12: the Thompson family hell some type of Jezabel's spirit and
- 50:48Speaker 12: they don't want to.
- 50:49Speaker 13: Wait wait, wait, wait a minute. Now, you just like
- 50:52Speaker 13: I said, now, be mindful who you're speaking to. Calling
- 50:56Speaker 13: somebody of Jezebeth. You, Now, what you can't do is
- 51:02Speaker 13: call somebody and accuse somebody and then call them a
- 51:04Speaker 13: derogatory word. Come on, somebody a Jezebel and a Jezebel.
- 51:08Speaker 13: Now you being ruth sir.
- 51:12Speaker 12: It's a Jezebel spirit, is what they were saying.
- 51:15Speaker 13: Okay, that's got to be the most asinine, foolish.
- 51:18Speaker 15: And that's I have ever heard in my life.
- 51:20Speaker 13: Who does that?
- 51:21Speaker 15: Who are you to call me?
- 51:24Speaker 13: Don't ask me like that? You calling me all like
- 51:27Speaker 13: some bush. But who can cost? They got a jezabel stir?
- 51:30Speaker 15: That's how I call somebody.
- 51:31Speaker 5: Kids.
- 51:31Speaker 15: I'm like, you got a bad ass kid?
- 51:33Speaker 13: Does your mama rab a Jezebel?
- 51:34Speaker 12: Still, don't wait wait a minute, I'm just.

- 51:39Speaker 13: Does your red lips? Where I'm wife's out of Jezebel's spirit.
- 51:43Speaker 14: I'm asking your ass.
- 51:46Speaker 15: That's what's gonna happen.
- 51:46Speaker 13: You gonna mess around and get your ass whip and
- 51:48Speaker 13: get drugs through the damn pool kits around with the top.
- 51:52Speaker 12: Well, as of right now, the family can't come to
- 51:55Speaker 12: the church.
- 51:56Speaker 13: You think we want to be around a church that
- 51:58Speaker 13: got people calls by asking.
- 52:00Speaker 5: I show damn do I have a Jezebel, But you
- 52:05Speaker 5: never answered the question do you have one?

- 52:14Speaker 13: for the last eight year. I don't say plenty of
- 52:16Speaker 13: time to this damn church.
- 52:18Speaker 12: And the.
- 52:20Speaker 13: Problem with me, have a problem with.
- 52:22Speaker 12: Me, Alicia?
- 52:25Speaker 1: Yeah, uh huh.
- 52:27Speaker 12: Let me tell you this and then I'm gonna be
- 52:30Speaker 12: before you.
- 52:30Speaker 13: Say another damn work. Next you need to apologize and

- 52:48Speaker 12: pranked by your sister, Melanie.
- 52:51Speaker 14: I'm gonna kick your right.
- 53:01Speaker 13: That was that was you, guys, Melanie ass the dad.
- 53:07Speaker 12: I don't know who the lady is in the choir
- 53:09Speaker 12: with the red list stick of her one day. I
- 53:12Speaker 12: have no earth for the idea, all right, No Jezebel spirits,
- 53:18Speaker 12: none of that.
- 53:19Speaker 5: We all right, maybe.
- 53:20Speaker 13: Maybe a rain half like I said, half, because you
- 53:24Speaker 13: don't even more than one Bible. She did gut work
- 53:27Speaker 13: for the kingdom, because you know I was working for
- 53:29Speaker 13: the Kingdom.

- 56:15Speaker 10: All right, Thank you, nephew. Subject to my new girl
- 56:18Speaker 10: and her sisters. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm thirty six years
- 56:22Speaker 10: old and I'm madly in love with a beautiful woman
- 56:25Speaker 10: who is the woman of my dreams. About fourteen years ago,
- 56:28Speaker 10: when I was finishing up college in Georgia, I needed
- 56:31Speaker 10: two roommates to help with my rent, so I put
- 56:34Speaker 10: an ad on a bulletin board at school. Back then
- 56:37Speaker 10: it was safe to do stuff like that. I got
- 56:39Speaker 10: a response from two step stepsisters. One was a junior
- 56:43Speaker 10: and the other one was a sophomore. They both moved
- 56:48Speaker 10: in and fixed up the place and gave it a
- 56:50Speaker 10: feminine touch.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I took it.
- 56:53Speaker 10: I took a good look at them both one day
- 56:55Speaker 10: and realized they were very sexy. I started studying at home,
- 57:00Speaker 10: and we've had dinner together, then sit on the balcony
- 57:05Speaker 10: and have a few drinks together. They flirted with me individually,
- 57:08Speaker 10: and I let them know individually that I was ready
- 57:11Speaker 10: and willing. I started having sex with the older sister first,
- 57:15Speaker 10: while the younger one was in class. She had an
- 57:17Speaker 10: eight am class three days a week, so I had
- 57:20Speaker 10: the older sister three days a week. Months later, the
- 57:23Speaker 10: younger sister walked in on me in the bathroom and
- 57:26Speaker 10: she slid in the shower with me. I was having
- 57:29Speaker 10: a lot of sex, and I don't know. I don't
- 57:31Speaker 10: think the sisters knew I was doing them both. I
- 57:34Speaker 10: graduated and I lost contact with them. Fast forward to
- 57:38Speaker 10: present day. My new girlfriend brags about her younger sisters.
- 57:41Speaker 10: She even told me their names, but it didn't register
- 57:45Speaker 10: until I finally saw photos of them. Her sisters or
- 57:48Speaker 10: stepsisters are my old roommates. I have slept with the
- 57:53Speaker 10: girl with my girlfriend's sisters. I wonder if my girl
- 57:57Speaker 10: has told them about me, and if they have seen
- 57:59Speaker 10: my pick and have kept quiet.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Is it best to.
- 58:02Speaker 10: Tell my girl what happened fourteen years ago? Please advise? Wow,
- 58:08Speaker 10: what are the chances? What are the chances? You cannot
- 58:11Speaker 10: make this kind of stuff up?
- 58:12Speaker 1: You just can't. And I got to say to you.
- 58:15Speaker 10: Everyone has a past period now yours is a lot
- 58:18Speaker 10: more colorful. It's a lot more crazy, for sure. But
- 58:21Speaker 10: you had your fun back in the day, and there's
- 58:23Speaker 10: no reason to bring this up today. Here's the question,
- 58:27Speaker 10: has your girl brought it up? Has she said anything
- 58:29Speaker 10: about it at all? She might already know you never know.
- 58:33Speaker 10: Here's another question. Have the sister said anything to your
- 58:36Speaker 10: new girl, their stepsister or whatever.
- 58:38Speaker 1: This was fourteen years ago.
- 58:40Speaker 10: A lot has happened since then, And although it was
- 58:43Speaker 10: a big deal to you back then, the sisters may
- 58:46Speaker 10: have forgotten all about you. None of you probably even
- 58:49Speaker 10: looked the same now. Unless you're all in the same
- 58:52Speaker 10: room together with pictures of how you were back then,
- 58:54Speaker 10: it may not even come up. So I just say,
- 58:57Speaker 10: live your life and don't worry about it. If it
- 58:59Speaker 10: comes up till everyone you thought everybody else knew.
- 59:02Speaker 7: Steve, sure, you lost your damn mind. Go the hell
- 59:06Speaker 7: fourteen years ago, two women, don't nobody remember nothing.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Everybody stupid. Now let me tell you what he.
- 59:13Speaker 7: Gonna have to do. He gonna have to be stupid.
- 59:19Speaker 7: This right here is a disaster in the making. There
- 59:27Speaker 7: is when your past come back to bite you in
- 59:31Speaker 7: your you've heard it, this is exactly it. But now bro,
- 59:37Speaker 7: you can this is the attitude you gotta take. Fourteen
- 59:41Speaker 7: years ago you did this. You had no idea of
- 59:46Speaker 7: the upcoming connection. So ignorance is bliss. Usually they say,
- 59:55Speaker 7: ignorance is not an.
- 59:56Speaker 11: Excuse, but you gonna have to make it. Listen to me, dog,
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: listen to me camping. Don't you listen to what SHIRTA
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: just told you?
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: If you think three women ain't gonna remember something, you done,
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: lost your damn mind. I don't know a woman that
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: even know how to forget. I don't even think that.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: I don't even really think y'all don't really think women forget.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: I don't think they know how. That's a skill set.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: That all of them have. And they have a memory,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: so keen.
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: They can tell you what shirt you had on when
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: you told a lot that ain't a woman that doesn't forgot?
- 1:00:40Speaker 12: Uh that?
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: When the last time you heard a woman say what
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: I forgot all about that? If she say that, she lied,
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: especially when it comes to who they have slept with.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: The hell a woman done forgot that? You know, most women.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Most women ain't garden tools.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Most women are not garden tools, so women will know
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: who they've slept and they see you again. Fourteen years later,
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: Shirley said, y'all might not even look alike. Y'all might
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: even look the same. You ain't change that now. Now
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: I'll admit I've seen some women in my past, and
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: I cannot believe it was me.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: I have seen that they've come to shows. Hey, Steve, member, man,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: I went on here. Damn, we can't tell you.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: It's like, oh, I can't say that. It's like a
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: lot of things. I tell you all this off the air,
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: but they gonna know.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: What I'm going to tell you when we come back
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: is how you need to handle me when they bring
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: it to you. But right now, shut your mouth. Don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: bring it up. Shut show mouth.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: When it do come up, and it's going to come up,
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: I promise you that, prepare for that. Uncle Steve gonna
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: tell you exactly what you need to do when it
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: come up.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: But you don't bring it up. You don't know that.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Shut them out.
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: But know that as soon as they see you, they
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: gonna know exactly who you are. And that's when you're
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: gonna have to do what Uncle Steve say. Coming up
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: next what to do when all three sisters is.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: In the same Ya you heard Steve.
- 1:02:32Speaker 10: We'll have part two of his response coming up at
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:02:38Speaker 10: my new girl and her sisters. We'll get back into
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: it right after this. Hi, this is Shirley Strawberry. And

- 1:03:54Speaker 7: school in Georgie, put an ad on the bulleting board
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: that he needed a couple of roommates to help him
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: with his rent. Well, he's two step sisters applied for
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: the job. One was a junior, another one was a sophomore.
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: So they both moved in. They fixed up the place.
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: They put a nice feminine touch to it. But then
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: you said, one day you took a good look at
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: both of them and realized they was very sexy. It
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: didn't take you know, a couple of days to know that.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Dog.
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: When they was putting hanging all that stuff on the wall,
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: lifting their arms up, you saw it.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: So you started studying that home more just to be around.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: Then y'all beat on balcony, have some drinks. They flirted
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: with you individually, and I let them know individually. I

- 1:04:38Speaker 7: with the older sister first, because she had a she
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: was available. The younger one had an A M class
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: three days a week, so I had the older sister

- 1:04:51Speaker 7: on me in the bathroom and slid into the shower
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: with me. Now you do it everybody, You do it
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: a whole family. I was having a lot of sex.

- 1:10:48Speaker 8: These are things you say, uh, when you're to hit
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: you know, when you to hit quarterback for the Cowboys.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: You have to say these things to keep your job.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: You have to say that. But you beat Philly, but
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: you lost to everybody else.
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, but you watch the Super Bowl at home
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: with the.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Rest of them. Right.
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: This is not what you say after the team from
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: your conference who won your conference wins the Super Bowl.
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: We can beat them, like Tim to say, but you
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: can't beat nobody else though. See, you gotta accumulate some wins.
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: I cannot believe Dak press Scott, listen to me. Jaye
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: and Daniels make eight point sixty million for Washington. Jalen
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: Hurt make twenty one point eight million for the Eagle.
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Dak Prescott made eighty nine million dollars.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Which one of them you want? The one that got
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: the trophy?
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: So you saying for eight and a half million, we
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: can't just be talking.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: We got to actually do it, spoke win Bro.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: I like Dak Prescott, I really do. I do not
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: like the Cowboys. I've never gone a Cowboy fan.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: No it's not the fan.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: I don't mind the Cowboy fans. I don't like the
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: Dallas Cowboy team.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: I love Dion, I love Emmett, I love Michael Irvin,
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: I love Troy Aikman, I love the players on the team.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: I love the city of Dallas. I just don't like
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: the damn Cowboys.
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: I can't stand in Dallas Cup because what you're saying,
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: it's the team, the we America's team who told you
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: all that.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: No, you're not listen to me.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: And they were in the North Division with the Cleveland
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: Browns back before there was an AFC, the Dallas Cowboys
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: in the North Division.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: I hated them since I was a child.
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: Okay, question, is any validity to what Dak Prescott just seen?
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: Is it?
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: They ain't a damn drop in.
- 1:13:01Speaker 9: All?
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Since thank you.
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: See mister dumbsh sugar honey ice tea, I don't heard
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: since the Super Bowl went off.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Okay, Junior, thank you for sports talk.
- 1:13:13Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, a woman
- 1:13:15Speaker 10: on social media, Steve needs your advice. She says her
- 1:13:18Speaker 10: best friend's wedding is breaking her. We'll get into that
- 1:13:21Speaker 10: right after this. We'll talk about it. You're listening to
- 1:13:24Speaker 10: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, This is from
- 1:13:28Speaker 10: Gabby on Steve HARVEYFM. Gabby says, I'm the maid of
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: honor in my best friend's wedding and she's turned into
- 1:13:34Speaker 10: someone I barely recognize. She's demanding we spend thousands on
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: multiple events, requiring specific hair extensions that cost a fortune,
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: and she threw a fit when I suggest to scaling
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: back the bachelorette party to fit everyone's budget. I've already
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: spent over three thousand dollars and there are still six
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: months to go. Should I speak up and risk ruining
- 1:13:57Speaker 10: our friendship? Or do I just keep draining my thin
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: the peace?
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Well that I'm not draining my savings to.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Keep the peace, that's out of the question.
- 1:14:09Speaker 7: Yes, for starters, I'm gonna be the one with the
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: short hair, because I'm not buying another bag. I ain't
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: gonna buy another bag. All these hands all, I ain't
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: buying the more bags. And we're gonna cut down on
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: all these trippers coming to this damn a bachel ret party.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: And why is the bride throwing the damn bachelbt party?
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: It supposed to be the girl throwing it, since she
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: got her hand in every aspect of bride or shower,
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: she throwing the dinner, She in charge everything, and y'all
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: breaking it, and and and and just you know what
- 1:14:46Speaker 7: you ought to do.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: Here's a suggestion.
- 1:14:49Speaker 7: But I don't know how women are in this regard,
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: so I'm surely and Cary have to guide me on
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: this one. I think she should say, since can I
- 1:14:57Speaker 7: talk to you? I'm just gonna bring this to you
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: because a lot of the girls are feeling this way,
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: and I and I feel the same way. Look, we
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: love you, This is the day of your dreams and
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: we are nothing here but to support you. But this
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: is costing us money that.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: We really don't have.
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: I like it so far, and we've already spent three
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: thousand dollars and we got six months to go, and
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: I'm into my savings.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: I can't afford all of this.
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: We still want to do everything because we just make
- 1:15:29Speaker 7: it more reasonable what we can't afford it, and we're
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: exhausting our money. We won't even be able to afford
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: to do what we want to do. Okay, you know,
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: it's just some simple stuff I want to do. I
- 1:15:39Speaker 7: just want to like, you know, I want to be
- 1:15:41Speaker 7: I want to buy groceries.
- 1:15:45Speaker 12: Me.
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: You know, you know, I got a little I want.
- 1:15:51Speaker 7: I saw a protein powder the other day. I thought,
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: you know, I'm just trying to you know.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's great, that's great, that's yeah. Yeah, I think
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: that that you're doing it, that's really it.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, because what do you think?
- 1:16:08Speaker 7: Because I really I want to tell the girl something
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: and we want to be there. Or you could get
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: all the girls to come and sit and have them
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: gold session. Yeah, and well, because girl, we're gonna be
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: here for you. So so she that way, she had
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: to find the whole bridal party, and she ain't got
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: no more friends. She' gonna be to make all them
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: friends by issue.
- 1:16:31Speaker 16: She doesn't have any more friends, not to be in
- 1:16:34Speaker 16: the damn win. I'm telling you right now, I'm not buying.
- 1:16:40Speaker 16: No more, damn bag's hand.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: I'm not gonna do this.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: No, three thousand dollars is way too much to spend.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Come on, yeah, girl, you're doing a lot of money.
- 1:16:49Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Somebody else's for.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Someone else, Yes, big day? Yes, all right, I like
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: that's your wed. This is from Myron Facebook.
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: He says, My downstairs neighbors smoke constantly on their balcony
- 1:17:04Speaker 10: and it all comes straight into our apartment. We've tried
- 1:17:07Speaker 10: talking to them politely. We've bought air purifiers, even offers
- 1:17:10Speaker 10: to split the cost of an air filter for their balcony,
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: but they just laugh it off. Our lease doesn't allow smoking,
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: but management says they can't do anything since it's outside.
- 1:17:20Speaker 10: My pregnant wife is miserable and we can't afford to
- 1:17:23Speaker 10: break our least.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: What options do we have left? That's from Mirus, that's all.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: We just our option.
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: It's always Yeah, he's sitting I'm talking about they can't
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: do nothing. I tell you, my pregnant wife is miserable.

- 1:17:44Speaker 7: what smoke they talking about it they talk about cigarettes
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: or all we in our house and my wife struggling.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Yeah, smoking, they're laughing. They're laughing at.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: You got to give smoke again.
- 1:18:01Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:18:05Speaker 10: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:18:09Speaker 10: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Four day
- 1:18:13Speaker 10: work week gains momentum in England. That is the headline.
- 1:18:18Speaker 10: Two hundred companies in England have decided to make the
- 1:18:21Speaker 10: switch to a permanent four day work week, and they're
- 1:18:24Speaker 10: not cutting anyone's pay. The move is expected to benefit
- 1:18:27Speaker 10: over five thousand employees across various industries, including marketing, tech
- 1:18:32Speaker 10: and charities. If the extra free time leads to greater
- 1:18:35Speaker 10: employee retention and motivation, the companies that offer four day
- 1:18:39Speaker 10: work weeks will have an advantage over the companies who
- 1:18:42Speaker 10: still demand employees show up Monday through Friday.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: What do you guys think?

- 1:19:06Speaker 1: See may we hear you speak? Please?
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: I agree with it. I think it should be a
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: four day work week right on the radio too. Everybody
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: don't listen to radio every day?
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: What so sho?

- 1:23:58Speaker 7: favorite songs while you drive to distract you that trump
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: drifting towards your land or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: up the side. Fortunately, every hounday offers advanced safety features
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: that kind of alert you to book take your dangers around.

- 1:25:05Speaker 1: About friendship Gallentine's Day. It's just by being with your girls.
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: It's not.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: Anyway she closes out.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: I love him, you know, hear what.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: I was thinking. I want to talk to men for
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: a minute.
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: You know, Uh, we live in a society today, Well
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: we live in a country that's supposed to pride itself
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: on free speech. But I must warn you that's not
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: the case. Free speech has been taken away. You can't
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: say what you want to say no more because everybody
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: is offended now, everybody, and this world we live in
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: now as new normals that they've created that didn't exist
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: for me back in the day. I'm old school. I'm
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: sixty eight years old, so what's normal now was not
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: normal then. But I want to talk to fathers.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: For a minute.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: I want to talk to men out there who are
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: raising sons, and let me tell you something. It's nothing
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: wrong with the way your father raised you. So if
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: you're taking the same way your father raised you and
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: applying it to your sons, it ain't nothing wrong with that.
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: You ain't got to fix something that ain't broke. But
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: you got to be careful with these new normals out here,
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: because they will make you think that it's broke when
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: it's really not. The way my relationship was with my father,
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: it was fine, man, It was fine. Oh he was tough.
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: Oh he was tough. He was hard on me at times.
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: But I look back on it and our realized what
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: he was preparing me for. He was preparing me for
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: this life that I was gonna have as a black man,
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: that it was going to be hard. So you might
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: as well start practicing now. And I'm not fittish, sugarcoat.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: This thing for you.
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: Are softening for you because they fitna give it to
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: you now. I can give it to you here at
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: the house, or I can let the police give it
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: to you out there on the street. I prefer giving
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: it to you here at the house. That was my
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: father the way raised me. If you have sons out
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: there and your father raised you with tough love and
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: it worked and you turn out to be just fine,
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: hold on to that and don't let these new norms
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: sway you. Because these new norms, man, they're really not working.
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: They're really not working. It's absolutely okay to be old school.
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: It's absolutely okay to teach your son principles. It's actually
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: okay to pull out a chair for a woman. It's
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: absolutely okay to open the door for a woman. It's
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: absolutely okay to be required to open up a car
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: door and put her in and make sure she and
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: that before you get in the car, it's your duty
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: to pump the gas instead of her. It's okay to
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: teach that. It's okay to teach that to your sons. Man,
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: don't let these new norms get in your way, because
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: these new norms is hurting people.

- 1:29:04Speaker 2: So hats off to their men too.
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: But listen to me. There is a way to teach manhood.
- 1:29:13Speaker 7: And if you know the way, teach it. Don't run
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: no slack on them, don't give them no breaks, don't
- 1:29:20Speaker 7: cut no corners. Because I got news for you. Life
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: ain't finna do that. Life fin to be hard, man,
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: And if you're raising black boys, it's finna be hard.
- 1:29:32Speaker 7: And I don't see it get no better because Maga
