- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on the back down, giving them more like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the milling buck bus things and the Cubs. Y'all do
- 0:19Speaker 1: me good it, Steve Hart, listen to the movie Together
- 0:26Speaker 1: for stun Please don't join by join me in doing me. Honey.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn the turnown. You got
- 1:43Speaker 1: the turnout, turn the water the water, come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your back. Uh huh, I shore will good morning everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice, come on dig me
- 2:07Speaker 1: NW one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Man one more time. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I do, man, I thank God for it every day.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You know, Um my message this morning, man's real clear.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's something that's been on me to share, and it's
- 2:28Speaker 1: it's amazing. You know, Um, God can do some amazing
- 2:34Speaker 1: things for you. But what happens along the way is
- 2:40Speaker 1: and I don't know that I mean to say, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: but the fact that God can do some amazing things
- 2:47Speaker 1: for you, that comes adversity along with it. Every single time.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It just goes without saying. And I've I was having
- 3:01Speaker 1: a fairly I mean, well not fairly but a hugely
- 3:06Speaker 1: successful week. I had never seen this type of hatred before.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I hadn't seen it. And it's it's a great trick
- 3:18Speaker 1: that the devil does, you know, when when God is
- 3:20Speaker 1: blessing you and giving you some some some great opportunities
- 3:24Speaker 1: in your life, as all of you have gone through,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and it is. Isn't it amazing how some negative thing
- 3:30Speaker 1: crops up and that's what you have to focus on.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I found out that I don't have to, but you
- 3:36Speaker 1: wind up focusing on it, and your energy goes over
- 3:39Speaker 1: to that to try to deal with it. Counteract. Wonder
- 3:43Speaker 1: why I was happening. You gotta make phone calls? What
- 3:46Speaker 1: was this about? Blah blah blah blah blah, and and
- 3:48Speaker 1: and it, and it throws you off the course you
- 3:51Speaker 1: are on the beginning of the week, I was so grateful,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I was so amazed. I was really thanking God for opportunity.
- 4:00Speaker 1: For this brief moment, the enemy slides this little factor
- 4:05Speaker 1: in there that causes you to and it requires your attention.
- 4:09Speaker 1: You have to pay an attention because you don't know.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You're going, Wow, man, let me see what this could
- 4:13Speaker 1: really be? How much dirt is this really that they're
- 4:17Speaker 1: trying to do, and so it requires your attention. But
- 4:20Speaker 1: in that attention, you lose your focus on really all
- 4:25Speaker 1: the blessings and the good thing that God does for you.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That the enemy has an amazing trick that he does that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And it was and it was in my head. I
- 4:35Speaker 1: gotta tell y'all all week long, man, and I was
- 4:37Speaker 1: doing some amazing stuff. I was having such a blessed week, man,
- 4:42Speaker 1: in terms of press and pr and where God was
- 4:45Speaker 1: taking me. And then when I got back, I was
- 4:49Speaker 1: talking with my wife, and then I was talking to
- 4:52Speaker 1: a good friend of ours and they shared something that
- 4:58Speaker 1: really helped me out. And they said to me, new level,
- 5:04Speaker 1: new devil. You know it's it's it's something really simple,
- 5:09Speaker 1: but new level, new devil. Every time you go to
- 5:13Speaker 1: another level, every time you go a little bit higher,
- 5:18Speaker 1: every time God has a blessing in store for you,
- 5:22Speaker 1: every time He moves you in position, do you understand
- 5:26Speaker 1: that the enemy's job is to make you not see
- 5:29Speaker 1: the blessing, make you not be grateful for it, lose
- 5:33Speaker 1: your focus and focus on this that I just threw
- 5:36Speaker 1: in your way, this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery,
- 5:41Speaker 1: and man, I was, I was, I got you. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: just gotta tell you, man, I mean, it was so
- 5:46Speaker 1: filled with hatred that I had to I really spend
- 5:49Speaker 1: some time addressing it, and I got publicists on the phone.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I said, what's what's happening here? Y'all not watching this?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Y'all not what? What was? What was this attack? You
- 5:57Speaker 1: knew that you didn't know these angles? What was it?
- 6:00Speaker 1: And you know, Steve Chill, new level, new devil. If
- 6:06Speaker 1: you get a promotion on your job, guess what, somebody
- 6:10Speaker 1: ain't happy that you got the promotion. So here come
- 6:13Speaker 1: to hey. You don't even you don't even really know
- 6:15Speaker 1: these people. You have no idea. Every time you make
- 6:20Speaker 1: a decision to make your relationship with your spouse better. Man,
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is it. You know what I'm gonna start doing.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this, man, so me and my girl
- 6:29Speaker 1: can go on and have this on. Me and my
- 6:31Speaker 1: man can go on and have this. Watch what happened
- 6:34Speaker 1: every single time? Here comes the new level, the new devil,
- 6:40Speaker 1: the trick. You don't need to do that, what you're
- 6:42Speaker 1: doing that for her? She don't appreciate it. He ain't
- 6:44Speaker 1: gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look at that
- 6:47Speaker 1: right there. Ain't he nothing? You know, he missed, he
- 6:49Speaker 1: didn't call you. And he said, it's gonna all types
- 6:52Speaker 1: of stuff. It just happens all the time. And I
- 6:55Speaker 1: was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 6:57Speaker 1: very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 1: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:08Speaker 1: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:13Speaker 1: something good happens to me? You mean every time I
- 7:17Speaker 1: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:19Speaker 1: put me on the next level, you mean to tell
- 7:21Speaker 1: me that I got to go through this right here?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Are you for real? And then my friend said, Jesus said,
- 7:31Speaker 1: they did it to me, and we just fell out laughing.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They did it to me, They did it to him.
- 7:40Speaker 1: They did it to him for him to go to
- 7:42Speaker 1: the next level. And you know, I was just I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was just going over the whole story about the crucifixion
- 7:48Speaker 1: and everything that had to be amazing man, of all
- 7:51Speaker 1: the hate he had endured, all the prosecuting he had
- 7:54Speaker 1: do it. They thought, ultimately, what we'll do is we'll
- 7:58Speaker 1: nail him on a cross and crucified, and that'll be
- 8:01Speaker 1: the end of him. And we'll put him in this
- 8:03Speaker 1: tune and we'll put this big stone up there, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: that'll be the end of him. But what they did
- 8:09Speaker 1: not know was all you was doing was setting the
- 8:11Speaker 1: tone for the next level. Because eventually the stone got
- 8:15Speaker 1: rolled away and he went and got placed with his
- 8:19Speaker 1: father where he was headed to. Anyway, he ultimately knew
- 8:23Speaker 1: that his ultimate goal was to get to his father.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So when you when you when you thought you were
- 8:31Speaker 1: doing what you were doing to him, and you put
- 8:35Speaker 1: him in a tune and you put the big stone
- 8:37Speaker 1: up in there, and the stone got got rolled away,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and he went eventually to where he was trying to
- 8:42Speaker 1: get to. That story is in place for all of
- 8:48Speaker 1: us to remember that when we are going through some things.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Could it be because we are going to a place,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you know, It could be just a place in life.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It could be just a different level in life. That's
- 9:02Speaker 1: all it has to be. But there's going to be
- 9:05Speaker 1: the adversarial challenges that come with it, and those are
- 9:10Speaker 1: the moments we must expect, expect and take them head
- 9:14Speaker 1: on and still not lose your focus or appreciation for
- 9:18Speaker 1: what God has done for you. So in light of
- 9:20Speaker 1: all of that, I'm able to say the day that
- 9:23Speaker 1: I thank my heavenly Father, I really do for all
- 9:26Speaker 1: the blessing season bestowed upon me and all of the
- 9:29Speaker 1: haters and all of the liars, and all of the
- 9:33Speaker 1: backstabbers and all those people. When you get through lying,
- 9:37Speaker 1: when you get through stabbing, when you get through gossiping
- 9:42Speaker 1: and doing what you do, I'm still going to the
- 9:46Speaker 1: next level. I'm still going. You cannot stop what God
- 9:54Speaker 1: has in store for you. No one can stop that show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your attention please. This is
- 10:06Speaker 1: is Steve Harvey Morning Show, and anything we do this
- 10:10Speaker 1: morning gonna be on and cracking. You know what I'm saying?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Everything I mean everything, Yes, everything we do is gonna
- 10:20Speaker 1: be wonderful to day. Those are all the voices I
- 10:23Speaker 1: know how to do. I've done them all to say
- 10:25Speaker 1: good morning and welcome to the ride, y'all. Steve Harvey
- 10:27Speaker 1: Morning Show, Sherley Strawberry hasty. Are you sure they heard more? Probably?
- 10:34Speaker 1: Never mind? Never mind, you know I did them. I
- 10:36Speaker 1: just improbably so I just decided to move on. I
- 10:39Speaker 1: ain't even want to do that. Calin for welcome back,
- 10:43Speaker 1: Good morning. What's up crew? Thank you girl. Yeah, huh back,
- 10:51Speaker 1: let's go. What's up junior morning? Everybody, morning up, welcome back,
- 10:57Speaker 1: calling for reals. Hey, hey, that's it, Steve, Yeah, that's it.
- 11:04Speaker 1: That's it for today, all this last day in Cairo, Egypt,
- 11:08Speaker 1: believing today, all praises to my heavenly Father. You know what, man,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Sometimes man, I just go, Steve, sometimes I really have to.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I was at a meeting right in Cairo, and I'm
- 11:22Speaker 1: sitting at the head of the table with this head
- 11:25Speaker 1: of this institution or something I can't say. She is
- 11:31Speaker 1: his head of this institution, and everybody was going around
- 11:35Speaker 1: the table introducing themselves. And the guy said, and would
- 11:39Speaker 1: you please state, because you know, Egypt is on the
- 11:43Speaker 1: continent of Africa. Africa really really pushes education. Man. It
- 11:48Speaker 1: is not what we've been taught this content it is.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And so everybody was going around the table listing their education.
- 11:56Speaker 1: There was so many Nigerians there, and Kenyans there, and
- 11:59Speaker 1: people from side of Africa. They were all around the table.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Several of them had gotten educated at Cornell, Harvard, n
- 12:08Speaker 1: YU and con come back home to bring their talents
- 12:12Speaker 1: back to the continent. It was impressive. Man. They were
- 12:15Speaker 1: going around the table and everybody was naming their names
- 12:18Speaker 1: and their education. It got to my side over here,
- 12:21Speaker 1: all my team, Molehi Housing, you know law degrees, and
- 12:26Speaker 1: you know in bio chemists and all this here everybody.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I was last. I'm the only one and to meet.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Ain't no damn any last piece of paper, I said,
- 12:41Speaker 1: All ladies and gentlemen, one and only Glynnville High See
- 12:47Speaker 1: introduced yourself. Come on, one and only Glennville High School.
- 13:01Speaker 1: One of the greatest entertainers of all times. Yes, Steve Harvey, Yes,
- 13:18Speaker 1: voted most difficult. All right, I don't agree. Great intro, Steve,
- 13:27Speaker 1: We love you for it. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:30Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, Chief Love Officer is here. He's
- 13:34Speaker 1: been here all week, just blessing us with his great
- 13:37Speaker 1: answers to these relationship questions. We'll have your questions coming
- 13:41Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour. Right after
- 13:43Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. All right, Chief Love Officer
- 13:49Speaker 1: in the building. If you have some questions for Steve
- 13:52Speaker 1: Clo go to Steve Harvey FM and submitting your question. Steve,
- 13:56Speaker 1: here we go. This one is from Lorette and Memphis
- 14:00Speaker 1: Lorette says, my daughters want me to start dating again.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I've been a widow for five years, and I guess
- 14:06Speaker 1: it wouldn't hurt if a man friend. If I had
- 14:09Speaker 1: a man friend to hang out, but I'm saved and
- 14:12Speaker 1: I will not be having sex when I meet men.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Should I tell them this upfront? Chief Love officer? What
- 14:19Speaker 1: say you? Well? First of all, let's just be honest.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You said if you had a male friend to hang out,
- 14:27Speaker 1: you are saved and you won't be having sex. Should
- 14:31Speaker 1: I tell them that upfront? First of all, let's just
- 14:34Speaker 1: accomplish first things. First, you don't have anyone you're dating.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Your daughters want you to start dating again because you're
- 14:42Speaker 1: a widow, So why don't you start the dating process first?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ask you for no sex? That ain't even
- 14:50Speaker 1: issue right now? She knows it's something. Yeah, okay, I
- 14:53Speaker 1: understand that. But you're anticipating a problem that you don't have.
- 14:58Speaker 1: So in anticipation of the problem, you will then attract
- 15:02Speaker 1: the problem. But since you saved, come on, man, But
- 15:07Speaker 1: he since you saved and you waiting on God to
- 15:10Speaker 1: send you the man, he could send you just the
- 15:14Speaker 1: right man. Amen to that. Because you have sex before
- 15:19Speaker 1: you marry, ain't gonna make you the worst person in
- 15:22Speaker 1: the world, and you show ain't gonna be the first.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You are human. People want to overlook that fact. You
- 15:29Speaker 1: are human. You are subject to air. Now. I appreciate
- 15:32Speaker 1: you wanting to hold onto your values and your virtue
- 15:35Speaker 1: and as you should, but don't beat yourself up when
- 15:39Speaker 1: you do make a mistake. You got that, right, I mean, Steve,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I hear what you're saying, and God is a forgiving God.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I got you, And I'm not saying she's wrong in
- 15:48Speaker 1: anything she's saying at all. She has every right to
- 15:51Speaker 1: want to do what I want. But Darlans right, but
- 15:54Speaker 1: don't attract the problem that don't exist yet. That's what
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm attraction is worth he said, works, okay, all right,
- 16:03Speaker 1: Laurette in Memphis, I hope you took that advice, Pat,
- 16:06Speaker 1: And Charlotte says Steve. My husband and I will be
- 16:09Speaker 1: married for five years in May, and I am the breadwinner. Now,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I make a lot more money than my husband, and
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm afraid it will be a problem in due time.
- 16:18Speaker 1: How can I keep my marriage on good terms despite
- 16:21Speaker 1: this good question? Right there? Now is she's saying her
- 16:25Speaker 1: husband isn't working or she just makes considerably more. She's
- 16:31Speaker 1: saying she's the breadwinner now, which makes it kind of
- 16:34Speaker 1: implies that he's not working. And then she says, I
- 16:38Speaker 1: make a lot more money than my husband. So it's
- 16:41Speaker 1: kind of ambiguous the way she put in anything. Okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I've probably given this answer a hundred times on this show,
- 16:47Speaker 1: but it bears repeating because it's the answer to the
- 16:50Speaker 1: same question that are women who make more money than
- 16:53Speaker 1: their husband and how do you keep that from being
- 16:55Speaker 1: a problem. This is what a financial planner told me.
- 16:58Speaker 1: His name is Roger Salt from saying my financial in Chicago.
- 17:02Speaker 1: He said, this is how you have less situation. You
- 17:06Speaker 1: have to have four bank accounts minimum. If you are
- 17:09Speaker 1: in a relationship with another person that's committed. If you're
- 17:13Speaker 1: in a very committed relationship, that should be four bank accounts.
- 17:17Speaker 1: So here's what you do. You the bread winner, take
- 17:19Speaker 1: your check and allow him the bread winner of whatever
- 17:24Speaker 1: level he's at, take his check. You all put that
- 17:27Speaker 1: money in a joint account. That joint account pays all
- 17:32Speaker 1: household necessities and deals, car notes, electric gas, groceries, the
- 17:39Speaker 1: things that have to be paid to maintain life, food, shelter, clothing.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Then then you need to have one savings account where
- 17:49Speaker 1: you all agree that that joint money that you all
- 17:51Speaker 1: have melted together, so it doesn't always have to make
- 17:55Speaker 1: him feel bad because he don't have the same as
- 17:58Speaker 1: you put agreed that we're gonna save x percentage of
- 18:03Speaker 1: money or x amount of dollars, and you put it
- 18:05Speaker 1: into a joint savings that cannot be touched without two signatures,
- 18:10Speaker 1: So you and him have to sign to move the money.
- 18:12Speaker 1: That's the second account. The third and fourth account that
- 18:15Speaker 1: you both need are individual accounts. You a lot and
- 18:21Speaker 1: you a lot, a allowance to each party that they
- 18:26Speaker 1: control those account themselves. Now, nothing in the law says
- 18:30Speaker 1: that those individual accounts have to be equal. My wife's account,
- 18:35Speaker 1: My wife's individual account is bigger than my account. Why
- 18:40Speaker 1: because it takes more for her to be a woman
- 18:43Speaker 1: than to take for me to be a man. It
- 18:45Speaker 1: just do. The cost of their clothing is more, hair care, nails,
- 18:51Speaker 1: spa treatments. All that stuff costs way more than a
- 18:54Speaker 1: man's day to day. All I need is cigars and
- 18:57Speaker 1: some golf clothes. But woman gonna need all that other stuff,
- 19:02Speaker 1: and so I'm not saying it has to be equal amounts.
- 19:05Speaker 1: So she decides what her allotment is, and they both
- 19:09Speaker 1: decide what his allotment is. Those moneys from the joint
- 19:12Speaker 1: account gets sent out to those individual accounts. Everybody gets
- 19:16Speaker 1: to keep their individuality and everybody has a sense of
- 19:19Speaker 1: dignity because they feel as though they've made equal contributions.
- 19:23Speaker 1: If you if you don't want to do that system
- 19:25Speaker 1: right there, you will struggle. And next question, that's for
- 19:31Speaker 1: Patton Charlotte. Here's Jessica and Philly. Steve, we have um
- 19:35Speaker 1: this question. It says, Uncle Steve. Why do the littlest
- 19:39Speaker 1: guys have the most confidence? Uncle Steve, Why do the
- 19:43Speaker 1: littlest guys have the most confident? Let me ask you
- 19:47Speaker 1: this question. Why are the littlest guys always bodybuilders? You
- 19:53Speaker 1: very rarely see a professional bodybuilder over six feet because
- 19:57Speaker 1: we ain't got nothing improved, and not at Tommy's at work, Tommy,
- 20:01Speaker 1: why the littlest people seem to have the most profits.
- 20:07Speaker 1: The fact that Junior and I can admit that we're
- 20:09Speaker 1: not attracting men, and you constantly keep telling people how
- 20:13Speaker 1: pretty you are, Tommy. Yes, she is that. Yep, y'all ugly.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on, he didn't hear that because he
- 20:22Speaker 1: gotta get up to the mic. Hold On, I heard it.
- 20:26Speaker 1: We gotta come back, though, we gotta come back. Uh,
- 20:30Speaker 1: this is too good. Uh talk about good time. Nephew, nephew.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Tommy's run that prank coming up after this and then
- 20:37Speaker 1: we'll we'll revisit this question right after this. You're listening.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we have
- 20:47Speaker 1: some entertainment news. Spike Lee is not going to any
- 20:50Speaker 1: more Knicks games. Plus Miss Ann is standing by with
- 20:53Speaker 1: today's national news. We can get the story. We got
- 20:59Speaker 1: Tommy standing by with today's prank. But you wanted to
- 21:02Speaker 1: finish your chief Love Officer question. It was from Jessica
- 21:06Speaker 1: in Philly. She said, Uncle Steve, why does the littlest
- 21:09Speaker 1: guys have the most confidence? Yeah, yeah, yeah, ugly as
- 21:13Speaker 1: wants to know. And so why do y'all call yourself ugly?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Why do you do that? I'm confident in anything that
- 21:20Speaker 1: I do, But why y'all not confident to not be
- 21:24Speaker 1: hug Why y'all we tall enough to look at see
- 21:27Speaker 1: y ourselves in the mine. I can see I'm not
- 21:33Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not ask something looking at me. You
- 21:37Speaker 1: might find that your ass is unattracted too, I'm not unattracted.
- 21:41Speaker 1: You all might say that y'all are unattracted, and you
- 21:44Speaker 1: do that, you condemn yourselves. But I am not ugly,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I'm not unattractive. I am smart, I am kind, and
- 21:50Speaker 1: I am peculiar is sport? Peculiar is right over there one, yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: because cut if you look peculiar, Tommy, that's the same
- 22:03Speaker 1: thing as up Junior. This first time Junior ever use peculiar.
- 22:07Speaker 1: He ain't never been strange. Now I've told you look strange.
- 22:12Speaker 1: What Tommy is the same person that challenged Dion saiders

- 28:52Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, Steve, you wanted to hear This story
- 28:56Speaker 1: still trending in sports news. It's no secret that's Spike
- 29:00Speaker 1: Lee is a diehard Knicks fan. We all know that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: In fact, he pays three hundred thousand dollars a year
- 29:07Speaker 1: for courtside seats to the games. However, a recent incident
- 29:10Speaker 1: at Madison Square Garden has him vowing not to return
- 29:13Speaker 1: for the rest of the season. Now, Spike showed up
- 29:17Speaker 1: for the team's match against the Houston Rockets. Now according
- 29:20Speaker 1: to them, According to him, he used the same entrance
- 29:23Speaker 1: he's used for over twenty years, and then he got
- 29:26Speaker 1: stopped by security. According to this is crazy. According to them,
- 29:32Speaker 1: it was the employee entrance and he couldn't use it.
- 29:35Speaker 1: They wanted him to go out and use the VIP entrance.
- 29:38Speaker 1: He refused for two reasons, one because he'd already had
- 29:42Speaker 1: his ticket scan and two because he knew they wouldn't
- 29:45Speaker 1: let him in again. Also, he questioned the new policy
- 29:48Speaker 1: and told the guards, you want to arrest me like
- 29:50Speaker 1: Charles Oakley. While it was originally reported that Spike and
- 29:53Speaker 1: team owner James Dolan had kissed and made up. He
- 29:56Speaker 1: disputed that claim on ESPN's First Take and Fact. When
- 30:00Speaker 1: he asked Dolan why he hadn't been notified about the change,
- 30:03Speaker 1: Dolan said, much to spike chagrin. Now you know, Spike
- 30:07Speaker 1: said he is done going to Knicks games for that
- 30:11Speaker 1: reason and for the season they've lost. Yes, they yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 1: why can't they fix this? Why won't they fix this?
- 30:31Speaker 1: It's it's the owner, guys. This is the guy that
- 30:35Speaker 1: had Charles Oakley thrown out public. Yeah, he don't care
- 30:39Speaker 1: how he abused black people. He's not a good owner.
- 30:42Speaker 1: He doesn't know basketball. He's a billionaire with money to
- 30:47Speaker 1: play with and he's playing with an NBA franchise. He
- 30:51Speaker 1: doesn't He doesn't have people skills. He always does this
- 30:56Speaker 1: type of stuff. He is a complete narcissist. We have
- 31:00Speaker 1: a plan example of that we've been dealing with for
- 31:03Speaker 1: four years. He doesn't know how. He's not a people person.
- 31:08Speaker 1: This is a spoiled rich boy that just wants his
- 31:11Speaker 1: way all the time. Why why crap on the man
- 31:15Speaker 1: like that? Spike ain't doing nothing crazy. Spike been going
- 31:18Speaker 1: through that interest for twenty years, man, twenty years. They
- 31:24Speaker 1: got a new policy. But now he can't go back
- 31:26Speaker 1: out because his ticket been scanned already. Just left the
- 31:29Speaker 1: three hundred thousand dollars a year. It's Spike, he at
- 31:33Speaker 1: every game, y'are yeah, Because they were saying yeah, and
- 31:42Speaker 1: they were also saying too that the other celebrities that
- 31:45Speaker 1: come and watch the next they go in that vip entrance,
- 31:49Speaker 1: so they wanted Spike to go in that way. Well,
- 31:53Speaker 1: he's y'all number one fan. What difference doesn't mean? That's
- 31:56Speaker 1: no problem, right, he's been going through the same employee
- 32:00Speaker 1: and employee is now when the policy got changed and
- 32:04Speaker 1: they didn't tell Spike they had scanned his ticket. One thing.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Ye people, we know, bet Steve, that's right, that's right.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I'm telling you man, we know. Were you the scammer ticket? Man?
- 32:20Speaker 1: Y'all just let me through. They hassled it. That was crazy, man. Yeah,
- 32:25Speaker 1: that's the owner. Man. That's not a good and the
- 32:27Speaker 1: owner could have straightened his whole thing out. A die
- 32:30Speaker 1: hard Nick fan putting the Knicks ain't one and god
- 32:34Speaker 1: knows that's right. Matter of fact, Spike, don't worry about it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: The Knicks record, they're not worthy of your presence. Right
- 32:45Speaker 1: over to Brooklyn. Yeah, there you go, or he said
- 32:50Speaker 1: he wouldn't. No, All right, time for today's headline, Steve
- 32:55Speaker 1: hanging their ladies and gentlemen, miss and trip. Thank you everybody.
- 33:00Speaker 1: This is an trip with the news. Okay. Authorities say
- 33:02Speaker 1: that there are now one hundred and fifty coronavirus cases
- 33:06Speaker 1: in the United States, with California listing fifty three confirmed cases,
- 33:10Speaker 1: one death Sadie so Now. Governor Gavin Newsom has a
- 33:14Speaker 1: declared an official state of emergency out there. There are
- 33:16Speaker 1: eleven deaths with eleven with ten in Washington State alone.
- 33:21Speaker 1: New Jersey has its first case of the coronavirus is
- 33:23Speaker 1: a thirty two year old Fort Lee man. His health
- 33:26Speaker 1: information is on the way to the CDC for final
- 33:28Speaker 1: confirmation because he's like a presumptive person who they presume,
- 33:32Speaker 1: in other words, has the virus, but they have to
- 33:34Speaker 1: get it, you know, officially said and oh yeah, this
- 33:38Speaker 1: is corona. He's hospitalized in New Jersey. And there are
- 33:41Speaker 1: eleven cases in New York, all linked to the same
- 33:43Speaker 1: New York shell attorney recently back from Miami. Later today,
- 33:47Speaker 1: the Senate will join the House and calling for eight
- 33:49Speaker 1: billion with ABEE dollars to be used to fight the
- 33:52Speaker 1: virus not just here but even now around the world.
- 33:54Speaker 1: President Trump is expected to sign that big money measure
- 33:58Speaker 1: the top executive some of the names major airlines mean
- 34:01Speaker 1: while saying that they have beefed up ways to better
- 34:03Speaker 1: disinfect their planes in the way of the coronavirus problem. American, JetBlue,
- 34:07Speaker 1: United and Southwest say they're in danger of losing money
- 34:10Speaker 1: if more travelers decide not to engage in any overseas
- 34:13Speaker 1: travel right now. European tourism has also dropped off and
- 34:17Speaker 1: in two ways for US to Chinese stop traveling. Hotel
- 34:20Speaker 1: cancelation rates have reached ninety percent in some parts of Italy.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Major concert sporting events, cultural events all being canceled in
- 34:28Speaker 1: France and other countries. In fact, the French officials have
- 34:31Speaker 1: imposed a ban on all gatherings in France of more
- 34:33Speaker 1: than five thousand people in confined spaces. So the treating
- 34:36Speaker 1: this real seriously and they should. Almost two dozen people
- 34:39Speaker 1: still reported missing in Tennessee after a tornado ripped through
- 34:43Speaker 1: Nashville that area on Tuesday. On the political scene, with
- 34:46Speaker 1: Michael Bloomberg out of the Democratic presidential primary race, and
- 34:49Speaker 1: Elizabeth warren't assessing her options. The focus is now pretty
- 34:52Speaker 1: much on Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders and on the
- 34:54Speaker 1: next week's voting Missouri, Mississippi, Washington State, also Michigan, where
- 34:59Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders to be already laying out his plan of attack.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I think some of the issues that the people of
- 35:04Speaker 1: Michigan are concerned about our trade and they would devastated
- 35:08Speaker 1: by trade agreements like NAUGHTER and Pmtall with China trade
- 35:12Speaker 1: agreements which I vigorously opposed, which Joe Biden is supported,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and that is certainly one of the issues though I
- 35:18Speaker 1: will be talking about in terms of Michigan. Bernie Sanders
- 35:22Speaker 1: b Hillary Clinton in Michigan in twenty sixteen, but Donald
- 35:25Speaker 1: Trump just barely won that state in the general election.
- 35:27Speaker 1: One more thing, because of Joe Biden's super strong performance
- 35:30Speaker 1: and super Tuesday, the stocks arising, believe it or not. Finally,
- 35:33Speaker 1: today is Dressing Blue Day. Now back to the Steve
- 35:41Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 35:47Speaker 1: to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, experts are advising
- 35:51Speaker 1: people to wash their hands now to do it correctly,
- 35:54Speaker 1: you need to wash your hands for twenty seconds, the
- 35:57Speaker 1: same length as singing Happy Birthday twice. Steve, we'll get
- 36:01Speaker 1: tired of singing Happy birthday. So do you have a
- 36:03Speaker 1: short list of songs we can sing for about twenty seconds.
- 36:07Speaker 1: So the coronavirus people say that you should wash your
- 36:10Speaker 1: hands for twenty seconds, and that's equivalent to singing Happy
- 36:15Speaker 1: Birthday twice times. Huh yeah. They told us that at
- 36:20Speaker 1: church on second birthday too. You know how you are
- 36:24Speaker 1: about music. Set on me, bring your hand, I'll help you. Whoa,
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'm gone, somebody to me. That's twenty seconds right now.
- 36:57Speaker 1: That's that's that's a good head washing. So how about this?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Huh m hmmm. Grandma's hands lap to church on Sunday morning. Grandma, mo,
- 37:12Speaker 1: you stake sometimes and swear Grandma, lord, it really came
- 37:21Speaker 1: in handy, She say, Billy, don't you run so fast?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Might fall on a piece of glass, might be snake.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Stay in that grass, grandma's hair. I love the mom.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I love that you gotta be at the moans dig Yeah. Yeah, Christmas, Christmas,
- 37:52Speaker 1: you don't want to coronavirus. This Chrismas And as we
- 38:04Speaker 1: trimmed the tree, how my sun is gone to be
- 38:08Speaker 1: that blo Themas fire your side, clean yourself, Carol, Chris,
- 38:26Speaker 1: Christmas were hands clean, gold act the house. Yes, some
- 38:35Speaker 1: damn happy birthday, he Steve. I felt this way thirty
- 38:51Speaker 1: four minutes after Oh about Joe Biden to come back kid?
- 38:56Speaker 1: Right after this, take us Steve Love. You're listening to
- 39:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So in trending political news,
- 39:08Speaker 1: Joe Biden proved to be the comeback kid with big,
- 39:12Speaker 1: big victories. Biden is now in a position to challenge
- 39:15Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination. Biden is ready. Take
- 39:19Speaker 1: a listen to this. You're in a report. We are
- 39:23Speaker 1: very much alive and MCNA mistake about it. This campaign, Well,
- 39:32Speaker 1: send down Trump packing. I like it, all right, that's
- 39:38Speaker 1: what we want. And Bernie Sanders is optimistic as well.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Take a listen. We are going to de seat Trump
- 39:46Speaker 1: because we are putting together an unprecedented rats roots, multi
- 39:55Speaker 1: generational VOLTI racial movement. Okay, all right, and Bloombergers out too. Bloombergers, Yeah,
- 40:09Speaker 1: has tried to hang in. Come on this one. I've
- 40:15Speaker 1: said this from the very beginning, From the very beginning,
- 40:22Speaker 1: I've told you who wasn't gonna be in there, and
- 40:25Speaker 1: they need to come on out because it's March. We
- 40:28Speaker 1: gotta get unified. If you want to remove Donald Trump,
- 40:32Speaker 1: you gotta be unified because the Republicans are unified. Elizabeth
- 40:36Speaker 1: Warren just come out. It's all right. You ran a
- 40:39Speaker 1: great race, girl, You was outstanding. You you want some debates,
- 40:46Speaker 1: all that come out. Let's over. Give your money and
- 40:52Speaker 1: your damn delicate. You don't like Bernie Sanders, get that
- 40:57Speaker 1: to Biden. Bloomberg, give all his to Biden. Global chap
- 41:03Speaker 1: global aiming Biden Biden. Everybody gonna get it. Anybody gonna
- 41:16Speaker 1: get Bernie old ass nothing. Listen to me, Donald. When
- 41:21Speaker 1: you hear Donald Trump saying the Democrats are treating Barry
- 41:25Speaker 1: Sanders very unfairly, you know why because he wants the
- 41:30Speaker 1: candidate to be Bernie Sanders. Because if Bernie Sanders is
- 41:34Speaker 1: the Democratic candidate, we are all but handing this back
- 41:39Speaker 1: to Donald Trump. Because Donald Trump is gonna scare the
- 41:42Speaker 1: nation with the term socialist, just like he scared them
- 41:47Speaker 1: with the wall, with immigration, just like he scared them
- 41:52Speaker 1: with talking about anti abortion. He scares them with everything
- 41:57Speaker 1: the economy. He use fear. He's gonna take that fear
- 42:02Speaker 1: rhetoric and ram it down our throats with Bernie Sanders. Now,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I like Bernie Sanders ideas, but can I tell you
- 42:10Speaker 1: something he is doing. Like all politicians, he is promising
- 42:15Speaker 1: something that he cannot pass. America is built on capitalism,
- 42:22Speaker 1: it is not built on socialism. And people in the
- 42:25Speaker 1: house gonna be going, okay, so that's what this means.
- 42:28Speaker 1: This is what this means. Let mask you because disertiue
- 42:31Speaker 1: got if you work for something, do you want what
- 42:35Speaker 1: you've earned? Yeah, of course absolutely, without saying that goes
- 42:41Speaker 1: without saying step and we don't get paid what we deserve,
- 42:45Speaker 1: absolutely not. So how about this? Then? How about everybody
- 42:50Speaker 1: just make the same thing. That's what they're gonna shape
- 42:59Speaker 1: up socialism to be because socialism is tied to communism,
- 43:04Speaker 1: Communism is tried, is tied to Russia, is tied to Cuba.
- 43:10Speaker 1: They're gonna run that down our throw man. And he's
- 43:14Speaker 1: to the left, extremely to the left. And what he's
- 43:18Speaker 1: saying is good for a lot of people and for
- 43:20Speaker 1: the masses who are under privileged. But if you have
- 43:24Speaker 1: any aspirations are becoming privileged, that's a scary conversation. Man,
- 43:31Speaker 1: that's what I think that Donald Trump is going to
- 43:34Speaker 1: use if it's Bernie said, Biden is our only ship
- 43:37Speaker 1: and that's why he wants to run against Bernie Sanders.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Coming up next, Nephew here with today's prank phone call
- 43:45Speaker 1: right after this. Yes, let's up. It's DJ Cally. You
- 43:49Speaker 1: are in no what time? And boy DC young flag. Hi.

- 43:54Speaker 1: it is Kevin Hart. Hold tight. The nephew has another
- 43:57Speaker 1: prank call coming up next. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:04Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's Today's Strawberry Letter. My subject forward
- 44:07Speaker 1: today stuck between two women that I love. It's not
- 44:14Speaker 1: what you think, though, It's not what you think. Huh. Yes?
- 44:16Speaker 1: Can I say something, yes that my opinion about politics
- 44:20Speaker 1: is just my open everybody is. I think whatever you
- 44:26Speaker 1: want now, I just won't when people listen to them.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Steve sent him at time my he on night, so
- 44:30Speaker 1: he gonna vote No, No, No, you have your right
- 44:32Speaker 1: to your opinion. I don't speak for the Morning Show.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I was just talking to Steve. That's what you want
- 44:38Speaker 1: to say that, right, all right, you're Steve Harvey and
- 44:44Speaker 1: you approve this message. All right, here we go. H nephew,
- 44:47Speaker 1: I will vote. Yeah, I'm about to speak for the
- 44:51Speaker 1: people I mean, not ugly. I'm about to right inside.
- 44:55Speaker 1: You know, boy, I just came out I'm speaking for
- 44:59Speaker 1: stupid people. Now. No, no, you said you you said
- 45:02Speaker 1: ugly people. Now that was a mistake. That was the

- 51:45Speaker 1: Was it nice and stupid? Very? Yeah? He played too much?
- 51:50Speaker 1: Wasn't nothing ugly about it? Just stupid? That's it. You too.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Don't have to choge together. They don't need each other.
- 51:57Speaker 1: It's a it's a tough combination to live with, though.
- 52:00Speaker 1: You got ugly and stupid? Yeah, you got it. Dare

- 52:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna be saying you're pretty now. I'm gonna be

- 53:50Speaker 1: Subject Tommy, subject stuck between two women that I love.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married to my lovely wife
- 53:59Speaker 1: for eight years and we have three children. My wife
- 54:02Speaker 1: is great and we have a normal marriage and enjoy
- 54:05Speaker 1: each other and enjoy each spending time with each other.
- 54:10Speaker 1: When my wife and I started dating. My siblings loved her,
- 54:13Speaker 1: but my mom tolerated her. When we decided to get married,
- 54:17Speaker 1: my wife told me that she could tell my mom
- 54:19Speaker 1: was not happy about it. I blew it off and
- 54:22Speaker 1: thought everything thing would be fine. Well, it's not fine,
- 54:25Speaker 1: and I feel bad for my wife. My mom has
- 54:28Speaker 1: had some health issues and can't live alone right now.
- 54:31Speaker 1: She couldn't stay with my brother because he is single
- 54:35Speaker 1: and he's always on the go. My sister wouldn't let
- 54:37Speaker 1: my mom live there because they're like oil and water
- 54:40Speaker 1: most of the time, so my mother has been living
- 54:43Speaker 1: with us. I love my mom, but recently I have
- 54:47Speaker 1: seen with my own eyes how hateful she is to
- 54:50Speaker 1: my wife. I've overheard her talking to my wife like
- 54:53Speaker 1: she's stupid and criticizing how my wife takes care of
- 54:56Speaker 1: our house and our children. I could not believe it
- 54:59Speaker 1: when I first heard and witnessed it, because she is
- 55:02Speaker 1: all sweet and innocent when I'm around. My mother doesn't
- 55:05Speaker 1: know that I am onto her and her evil ways.
- 55:08Speaker 1: But I have to put my foot down and tell
- 55:10Speaker 1: her how to stop, tell her to stop mistreating my wife.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I am stuck in the middle of two women I
- 55:16Speaker 1: love dearly. I don't know how to tell my mom
- 55:18Speaker 1: to chill out, but if I don't do it soon,
- 55:21Speaker 1: I feel like my wife will end up putting hands
- 55:23Speaker 1: on my mom. Just getting my wife is not like that,
- 55:28Speaker 1: but my mom's mouth is so disrespectful. Stephen Shirley, I
- 55:31Speaker 1: may have to put my mother out of my house.
- 55:33Speaker 1: How can I fix this? Well, if it comes to that,
- 55:36Speaker 1: that may be what you have to do. And I
- 55:39Speaker 1: got to tell you you're not stuck in the middle.
- 55:41Speaker 1: You're not stuck. You're just looking at it that way.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I got that your mom and everything, but your responsibility, husband,
- 55:49Speaker 1: is to your wife first, even your siblings. Her own
- 55:53Speaker 1: children don't want to be bothered with your mom. And
- 55:57Speaker 1: she's really out of order doing it in you and
- 55:59Speaker 1: your wife's home, telling her she doesn't like the way
- 56:02Speaker 1: she takes care of her children or the house. I
- 56:04Speaker 1: just you know she's doing it in your wife's face,
- 56:07Speaker 1: right under your nose. I just think, husband, it is
- 56:10Speaker 1: time for you to step up. You're gonna have to. Uh.
- 56:14Speaker 1: You have all the evidence you need. You said you
- 56:16Speaker 1: saw it and you heard it. Um Uh you heard
- 56:20Speaker 1: your mom with your own ears. Okay, what more evidence
- 56:23Speaker 1: do you need you. You. You can't say that your
- 56:27Speaker 1: wife is exaggerating. You can't say that your wife is
- 56:30Speaker 1: lying on your mom. Any of that. Your your your
- 56:35Speaker 1: your mom changes in front of you. You say, and
- 56:37Speaker 1: she's all sweet and innocent. Well, I suggest that you
- 56:41Speaker 1: tape your wife on your mom on the cell phone
- 56:44Speaker 1: or when they are talking, how your mom talks to
- 56:46Speaker 1: your wife. I say, you secretly take her, tape her
- 56:49Speaker 1: on the cell phone and replay it for her. And uh,
- 56:53Speaker 1: to me, that's how you deal with it. You need it,
- 56:55Speaker 1: a way to deal with it. That's how you show
- 56:57Speaker 1: your mom you have the evidence right here. You do
- 57:00Speaker 1: it all respectfully, of course, I mean, after all, it
- 57:02Speaker 1: is your mom. I hope after she sees herself on
- 57:05Speaker 1: tape treating your wife like that, I hope this anyway,
- 57:08Speaker 1: that she'll see how hateful she is towards your wife.
- 57:11Speaker 1: And maybe this will bring about a healing and a
- 57:15Speaker 1: forgiveness in your family. That's what you need, you know,
- 57:18Speaker 1: for your mom to admit that she's wrong and to
- 57:22Speaker 1: ask your wife for a forgiveness. And you said your
- 57:24Speaker 1: wife isn't like that. It sounds like your wife is
- 57:26Speaker 1: really nice. She'll forgive her so see how that works
- 57:29Speaker 1: for you. Tape it and play it back for your mom. Steve, Oh,
- 57:35Speaker 1: I don't know, surely I can't. I like what you said.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I don't know. This is a spot, and a lot
- 57:43Speaker 1: of people don't know how this spot is. But the
- 57:46Speaker 1: first woman that a boy ever falls in love with
- 57:49Speaker 1: is his mother, that goes on throughout his life. Most
- 57:55Speaker 1: boys will protect a mother to the death. I mean so,
- 58:02Speaker 1: and he now has a wife that he absolutely loves.
- 58:05Speaker 1: They've been married their years. They got three beautiful queens
- 58:07Speaker 1: to him and his white kids, and him and his
- 58:09Speaker 1: wife loves spending time together. So okay, we got a
- 58:12Speaker 1: problem now because he's stuck. He feels between two women
- 58:17Speaker 1: that he loves. But Shirley made a great point. You
- 58:19Speaker 1: are not stuck. Dog. There is no middle here, not
- 58:24Speaker 1: young man, or however old you are. I don't know
- 58:26Speaker 1: how old you are, but dog, there is no middle hill.
- 58:30Speaker 1: It is very simple. The priority for you in your
- 58:34Speaker 1: life now is not your mother. It is your wife.
- 58:39Speaker 1: You took vows to your wife, You promise to leave
- 58:45Speaker 1: all others and cleave only unto her. Your mama is
- 58:51Speaker 1: a trip dog. Your mama is a trip man. Your other.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Your brother bachelor, so he can't have mama up been
- 59:03Speaker 1: here blocking. I know mama got some health issues and
- 59:06Speaker 1: we need to pray about that. But your brother couldn't
- 59:09Speaker 1: let your mama move in because he'll player mama up
- 59:11Speaker 1: in the house blocking. Your sister won't let the mama
- 59:15Speaker 1: move in with the health issue because they don't get along.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You know why don't get along? Because your mama is
- 59:20Speaker 1: a trip dog. Yes, all right, I'm come back. I'm
- 59:25Speaker 1: gonna tell you truth player. I ain't trying to talk
- 59:28Speaker 1: about your mama nothing. I'm just gonna tell you s
- 59:30Speaker 1: a trip. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 59:33Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 59:37Speaker 1: Letters subjects stuck between two women that I love. Will
- 59:40Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 59:46Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Your subject stuck between two women that I love. Yeah, heit,
- 59:53Speaker 1: this man been married eight years to this woman that
- 59:56Speaker 1: got three beautiful kids. He loved a girl. They have
- 59:58Speaker 1: a great time together even before they got married. The
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: siblings was okay with her, but your mama never really approved. Okay,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: never really approved of it. So your mama, in essence,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: don't like your wife, your selection, who you're very, very
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: happy with. You know your mama can be wrong. Now,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: your mama had fell on some health issues. Your brother
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: can't take care of acause he'll player. Your mama can't
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: be up in here blocking. I'm in here running them.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I got things to do. I got these girls coming
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: over to night. You in that cooking greens. We don't
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: wanna smell no greens in this house. Yes, since I
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: got mama, I got some things going on. I got lexus.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I'm on lexus, turned off the lights. You in here,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: got the lights on playing church music. I'm in the
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: battlet bringing and you up in here playing Mighty Clouds
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and Joy out of Mississippi, Third version of the Hour.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: My mama can't stay here now, You're sister don't want
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: it in the house because you're saying your own words.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Your sister, and your mama is like all in water.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: You know why that because your mamma tripped off. I
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: ain't gonna talk about your mama because I don't litybody
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: talk about mama, but your mama tripping. Now, your mama
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: is tripping with your wife. You didn't heard her with
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: your own ears. See, you knew your wife was complained
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: about it, but then you heard her talking to her disrespectfully.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I don't know why your fat ass can't keep this
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: house clean. Wa Wow, look at these kids and here
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: hell all over their head. They look hungry. The little
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: baby got dirty, dive on and shitting up in the hill. Well,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: excuse me. I didn't work and I just gotta and
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: kids get dirty from time to time. But you need
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to do a better job. And you ain't cooking. I
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: didn't even want this to eat. Well, I'm seeing what's
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: gonna have to happen, is dog. If you don't step
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: in here, your girl gonna tighten up. Now, Shirley, I'm
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: gonna give you a reenac And in the second, y'all,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I want you to be the mother complaining about so things,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be his wife checking the mama. But
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: first of all, let me tell you something you didn't heard.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Your mother has been living with y'all and heard her,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: seeing it with your own eyes, how hateful she is
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: to your wife. You overheard her talking to your wife
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: like she's stupid and criticizing how my wife take care
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: of the house and our children. I could not believe
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: it when I first heard it and witness it, because
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: she is sweet and innocent when you around. Because your
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: mama's a trip man. I've told you now, I know,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: doesn't she don't know that I'm on to her. It's
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: time for you, mama. You can't talk to her that way.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: This is my wife. I got to put my foot
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: down so you can get out the middle. And she
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: got to stop mistreating your wife. This is your wife
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: house man, Ain't nobody want. Ain't no woman want wanting
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: to come home having to walk around the house. Your
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: wife is the queen of the castle. I don't know
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: if you know it or not, but it's not the
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: king of the castle that kind has the biggest vote.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: It's the queen. Partner. As a matter of fact, you
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: queen on the chessboard is the most powerful piece I
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: got news for you, partner, You, sir, are creating a
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: dilemma for yourself if you don't come to your wife's aid,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: because that's who you live with. Now. Your mamma need
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: to go somewhere now. I ain't sound so how much
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: money you got but a small you know a room somewhere,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: a studio, apartment efficiency, you know, let the bed down
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: out the wall, one room. But she can't go over
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: that with her even asked by herself. But you gotta
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: get your mama out your house, for she ruined your home, Shirley.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I want you to complain as her mother, and I'm
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: gonna show you how your wife could check up. Oh,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I'm in this bad honey. And when the last time
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: fat ass don't move around enough. Well, I'm sick and
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I think you should take better care of me. I
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: don't like that soup you brought me last night, by
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: the way, you didn't you like everything. That's why you
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: big ass got diabetes. And that's why you're over here
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: now because if din't take your foot, who check? Go
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: ahead see it against him? And why don't you clean
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: up that nasty bathroom? And there don't want to bathroom
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: because you come in Hill and I'm trying to run
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: your ass off. And the little snotty those kids they
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: used to be cute, but now snotty. Those kids in
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: here sick causing YO fast sick ass in Hill got
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: everything they wasn't sick. Can you move then? All these
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: old last germs walking around this house. I don't like
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: the way you got this bedroom arrange. The bed needs
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: to be over there by the window so I can
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: see outside and see what's going on. Why is it
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: over here next to the closet. I don't understand. What
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: is you worried about? Where the bed is that fault?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: You want to look out the window so you can
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: get in their business too. Leave my damn neighbors alone.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: And I don't like this hardwood flooring here. I need
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: a carpet because when I can get out the bed,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I want to step on something nice and warm and salt.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: The reason we got hard flaws, it's because we know
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: you got bad feet and we want to wear them
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: down till you moved. We're not putting no carpet in
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: this house cause old people make the carpet smell old.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: And it's too too many mirrors in this house. Don't
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: you all know what you look like? I mean, you
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: were gonna say that one Steve All right, listen post
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: your comings on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook, and please don't forget to check
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: out the Struwberry Letter podcast on demand of coming up
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hour from the Talk
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: our girl, Cheryl Underwood. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Carla's reality show update. But right now, Steve, please introduce
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: that girl from the Talk dun lady and gentlemen, Sheryl Underwood.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve Harvey. And we did it, babe, don't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: call it a comeback. Joe Biden did his thing on
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: super Tunesday. Don't hate congratulate the youngest that Bernie Sanders
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: was dependent on state home, playing PlayStation and being on
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: social media. Now listen, check up. People come to your
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: little event, don't mean they're coming to vote. That's right.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: We did our Thank Black Radio, Saladary dot Com. We
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: did our think Bloomberg is out and he endorsed Biden.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Everybody that's out if getting ready to endorsed Boden now one,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I'm a mean dude. Listen. I can't confirm with Charlie Scarbaby,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: but I was at the nail salon and one of
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: the ladies doing my nail in her life said that
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren is out, So I think they would know.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: So because I know the language. I know everybody like
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: I speak with the Tocala, with the Filipino people. I
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: speak enough Spanish to understand what's going on. I got
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: to learn language because I got the ear hustle on
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: other people when they're talking about what's happening. The democracy
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: was defended, and I want to shout out the jail Biden.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: When the when the protesters rushed his face. Did you
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: see Jill Biden jail vote? Push him off this thing?
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Now that's the first lady right there, protection she bout
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: that life. She had quick hands, Calar, she had quick hands.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Listen to me. This is a great day. And listen,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders, you're still doing your thing. But what we
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: need is Tom Style and Mayor Bloomberg to put all
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: their money behind Biden. Now everybody gonna say, I don't
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: do that. Know what we show was the black vote
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: meant something. And Michael More when he said South Carolina,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: don cal it countered and it gave Joe Biden the
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: momentum that he needed and he wants that's right. Don't
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: play with us, Junior. You know you excited right now.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: You're excited right now. Why are you excited. Why are
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: you excited, Junior? Swatch you as like talking because we
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: talked to stay focused, to stay focused. But see, me
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: and Junior are happy together, so me and Junior should
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: go out and celebrate. You know, this is a good
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: catfish fry fish. He wanted to do that a couple
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: of days ago to Tommy when you told me that, man,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: listen to me, I start fasting and praying and doing
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: sit up and not eating any salt. So I want
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: to be bloated with me, and he hasn't. Junior. We did.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: We turned up to turnout me and Tunia did it.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: He don't want to blow the woman. That's right, have
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: not because he asked this not ledge he didn't have.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: He was gonna get it anyway. We appreciate you, Cheryl.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Thank you. Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears and
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: go to Carla's reality update at the top of the
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: hour right after this. You're listening, all right, come on, Tommy,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: let's go, let's go, let's get it. Let's get it.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: She is here. It is Carla Farrell with what reality update?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew. Here we go, guys. Real
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Housewives of Atlanta drama drama, drama listen. Kenya told Cynthia
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: that she and her husband Mark were having issues. Boy
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: are they ever? He can't stand her anyway. Kenya and
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: her husband Mark, they hosted a charity mentoring event, if
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: you will. It was a fundraiser type giving back events,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: and it was a lot of drama preparing for this event,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: from who was invited, the venue, the speakers and seating chart,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: what were they going to wear? A lot of drama.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: So first thing, Cynthia noticed that it was rude that
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Kenya's husband Mark didn't even holler at her fiance Mike
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: when they first got there. Mike is the MC of
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the event, so Cynthia was like, what's up with Mark?
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Then Mark asked Eva's husband to speak about being adopted
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: his childhood, right there on the spot. And Eva was like, well, dang,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you want to get somebody some notice if you want
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: them to talk like that. And then Mark was very
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: cold acting toward his wife Kenya. He didn't even publicly
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: thank her at the event. It was really really awkward
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: and just uncomfortable to watch. But then Marlowe, You're gonna
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: have to save Kenya. Well, you're gonna have to mar Lodi.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: She arrived late. Wait what you ain't got that kind
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: of uncle talking and to brute man. Let me finish
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: this real quick though. Let me tell you guys. So Marlowe,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: she arrived late at the event with her nephews, and
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: she was upset about the seating arrangements. Kenya's attitude was like,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: you're late and then you're bringing plus two, so how
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: are you gonna be mad about where you're sitting? But
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Mark disagreed with his wife. Kenyan was happy that Marlowe
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: showed up to the event with her nephews because he
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: was like, it's a mentoring event, so you know they're
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: never on the same team. Well. Then, towards the end
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: of the episode, Mark was over it. He was going
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: off on the production team. It appeared that he did
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: not like the cameras rolling and filming his entire event.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: He went off. Mark said he was sick of the show,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: sick of them filming the event, and he was sick
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: of Kenya's bodyguard, and I think he's sick of her.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Someone asked him how he liked being married to Kenya.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: He said he hated it. He said it hated me
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: and married her. Yes, So now according to But how
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: horrible was that? Though was awful? Well, yeah, well he shouldn't.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: He was terrible, Steve, he did it was so yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I really do. Yeah. He was. Yeah. She was there
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: supporting her husband and went all out and he was
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: just he was real. Filed with what he said and
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I always said it. So it seems to be at
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: the end of this particular episode that day, because you
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: know this was obviously filmed in advance, they filed for
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: separation the very next day. So to this day, Kenya
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and Mark are still separated and they are just trying
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: to co parent together with that beautiful little girl. But
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: though he say, well, I think he had probably pretty
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: much if some If you ask a man, how do
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: you feel being married to the person you're married to?
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: When he says, I hate it, I hate it. I
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: want you to know something about hell. I hate it
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: means I hate huh, he hates everything about it. How
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: do you feel about man? Well, he didn't. He didn't
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: know what he was. Nobody knows what marriage is until
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you get in it. Nobody knows you am Amen, marriages
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: work work. This was horrible. He doesn't like her, he
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: doesn't want to be married to her and that was
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: very obvious on this particular episode. We could talk more
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: about it with running out of time on social media
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: at lips by Carla and we'll be back at twenty
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: after he told his wife he yep, with more questions
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: for the cl oh right after this. You're listening all right, Steve,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: can you bring the Chief Love Officer in please the CLO.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: We have another question from him. This is from Marshall
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: in Tampa, Okay. Because you know how you and your
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: characters are, you know, hello, Steve. It says I have
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: been with my man for fifteen years and around Christmas
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: he told me he was ready to get married. So
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: we picked out a four thousand dollars ring and I
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: bought it for myself. I posted it all on my
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Facebook page that he had finally put a ring on it.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: A few days later, my man said he said he
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: felt rushed and called the whole thing off. He said
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: he still wants to date me and we will get
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: married soon. What is soon? Should I walk away from
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: him some time? That's really all it is. He just
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: buys some time. When he told you he wanted to
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: get married, he didn't say now he was buying time
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: with the I want to getting married statement, y'all been
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: dating buy anything teen years? She bought the ring fifteen years.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: You jumped a gun, bought a four thousand dollars ring
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: and posted it. He didn't buy you a ring. He
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: just said he wanted to get married. He did not
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: make the two things you need to go with I
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: want to get married, it's three things? When to who?
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: And he didn't say you. We'll have moore with the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, our CLO Steve Harvey coming up at
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. What am I? What
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: am I? He? The chief? I don't understand without in
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: this you the fool prankster king of pranks. You're listening
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: all right? Here we are with our Chief Love Officer,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. If he love officer? What am I? Yeah?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I got to be something? Ain't nothing? Dog? You? Ain't
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you the king of pranks? Yeah? I'm the press us
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: just just stupidity, were standing up comedian and then stuff
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: like that. Nobody's ever written in to ask you a
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: love question. You have nothing to do with the clo.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Or wait a minute, Steve. He is the host of
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Ready to Love on own don't forget that the host
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: are ready to love, not how to love. That's the
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: same stupid. No show is about people that's already ready
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: to right about to ask you to love. This question
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: for you was from Marshall and Tampa. She said she's
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: been with her man for fifteen years. Around Christmas, he
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: told her he was ready to get married. So they
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: picked out a four thousand dollars ring and she bought
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: it for herself, posted it on her Facebook page, saying
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: she finally he finally put a ring on it. Then
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: days later her men said he felt rushed, called the
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: whole thing off and said he still wants to date
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: her and we will get married soon. It's what he said.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: She wants to know what a soon and should she
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: walk away? And Tommy said, then I agree. He bought
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: some time. He bought some time when he said he
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: was almost ready to get married, he bought some time.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Then you jumped the gun, bought a four thousand dollar ring,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: posted it now. He said he rushed and called the
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: whole thing off because he didn't ask you to marry him,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: and then I told you before. The three things missing
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: with that almost ready statement was when to who? And
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: he did not say to you. So now she wants
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: to know should I stay with this? Well, you fifteen years,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: fifth team, that long years and you bought your own ring.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: That's tough. Yeah, So now about should I stay? Here's
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: what women do. Women say, Well, I don't put fifteen
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: years in. I don't want it to be for nothing.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: You have nothing. You just have fifteen years of something.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: You don't want what you what you do want? He's
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: not willing to give. So the simple question I've said
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: just a hundred times in the band's repeating, do you
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: walk away? That's up to you. But if you stay,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: do you want fifteen more years of this? Because nothing's
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: changed and he's not going to change. He's been talking
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: about getting married for the longest fifteen years. She needs
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: to go, So you have to make up that decision
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: for yourself. All right, we'll be back with our last
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: break of the day and some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening, all right, Steve, Here we
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: are our last break of the day. It's been a
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: good day, break up the day, Yes it is, and
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: it's been a good day. We've had fun today. Yes,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: we had Carlo's back. It's all good in the hood back. Yeah.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I feel so bad for you, man, because I ain't.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: You've got damn dog dog. I got ready to say,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I feel so bad for you because you got a
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: great career working in everything. Y'all don't have an ugly
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: career though. I have a nice, sexy career. That's happened. Wow.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm tripping because I'm actually trying to pay
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you a compliment. I know, but you're gonna put ugly
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: on the end of it. Doan't. Let's see her? Let
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: me it's a movie about his life. Insecure. You know
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: that there's a movie. And why is people insecure? What's
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: the number one number one reason why people are insecures? What? Junior?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Because they un't that's the number one reason for security. Insecurity?
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Love you whatever? And if you shot like troll, Steve,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: no other I'm a troll. You got that troll? I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I said, if you shot and ugly, that's like a troll.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Then he said, I'm a troll. You remember what my
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: father told you, Tommy, You remember what grandfather told you
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: that if you keep talking, he gonna make you stand
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: outside and hold and landing. He oh, he had known
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: he was gonna put Tommy in a jackie suit and
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: make him holding a lamp. House, Oh, God, party, and
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: the church people was coming over, and they said, so
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: they'd know the house. My daddy said, you're gonna put
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: timmy jockey suit on and have him stand out on
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the steps and hold a lamp. Steve, I'm sure this
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: is not gonna go with your clothing, so not at all.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: All right, I'm sorry, all right, let's go. Here's the
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: closer monks, Damn, sorry, but listen, you know, crazy big
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: church party. Oh. I think a lot of times, man,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: those of us who are people of faith, we often
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: ask God for certain things, and in waiting for it,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: we get tired. And I'm the same way. It's some
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: things that I've been talking to God about for a
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: while and it just doesn't seem to be happening. But
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: He has ways of doing it that's so high above
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: our thinking level and our concept level that it actually
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: could be happening. But because we are so focused on
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: it not happening and not going the way we perceive it,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: that we don't even notice the things that he's actually
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: doing on our behalf, and a lot of it is
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: unbeknownst to us. See, man, faith is the belief in
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. That is the essence of
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: becoming successful. If you could see it, how hard would
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: it be. It would be fairly simple. If you could
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: see where the Finnish line was, that would be no
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: need to get tired and stop. You know it's right there.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Just keep going, It's just right there. But faith ain't
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: set up that way. The finish line ain't set up
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: that way. Your goals and dreams and visions are not
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: set up that way. It is cloudy on your way
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: to your dreams and visions. It is rolled blocks on
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: your way to your dreams and vision. It is detours
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: on your way. It is peaks and valleys on your way.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: It is traps along the way that are setbacks along
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: the way. If it was a straight line from here
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: to where you wanted to go, do you know how
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: simple that would be? And if you could see it,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: how simple that would be. Listen to me, everybody, This
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: is the concept of life for all of us. I
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: don't care if your name is Bloomberg. I don't care
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: if your last name is Zuckerberg. I don't care if
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: your last name is Jordan or Woods, it doesn't matter.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Your last name can be Winfrey. Do you understand that
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: it is set up this way for everybody. You have
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: got to be willing to fight through to get to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: the end. That is your success. And the biggest mistake
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: we make, man, is we compare ourselves to other people. Man,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you ain't gonna ever be happy like that, because that's
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: always somebody with a bigger boat, a bigger call, a
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: nicer watch, a bigger house. If you don't learn that
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: in this process of life, that God is taking you
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: through this journey, and if you can keep the faith,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: that is a bright side for you waiting for you.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: And a lot of times you're actually in the middle
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: of the sun coming up, but you don't see it
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: because you keep turning around looking at the darkness. You
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: don't even see the sun coming up over the hill
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: because you keep turning around looking at your life in
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: total darkness. Man, faith is the belief in things that
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: you cannot see. Understand that that that is for everybody.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Keeping the faith is keeping the belief that God is
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: on the way. As hard as it may seem, he
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: always come and he ever too late. He's never been
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: too late. Those are my closing remarks. That's it. Hey, y'all,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: have a great weekend. Man, we're getting close. I'm getting
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: on the plane. I see y'all. For all Steve Harvey contests,
