- 2:07Speaker 1: or co workers stop you from planning or living your dreams.
- 2:10Speaker 1: The interviews I have on money Making Conversation of with celebrities, CEOs,
- 2:14Speaker 1: entrepreneurs and people I like to call industry decision makers.
- 2:17Speaker 1: My next guest is truly an industry decision maker. He's
- 2:21Speaker 1: Dr George C. Fraser. He's the chairman and CEO of
- 2:24Speaker 1: Frasier Net, a company he founded over thirty years ago.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Dr George C. Fraser is a renowned networking guru, business leader,
- 2:31Speaker 1: author and entrepreneur whose regardless one of the fore most
- 2:35Speaker 1: respected authorities on entrepreneurship and building generational wealth, a key
- 2:40Speaker 1: generational wealth and economic empowerment for the black community. Frasier
- 2:45Speaker 1: Net vision is to lead a global networking movement that
- 2:48Speaker 1: brings together diverse human resources to increase opportunities for people
- 2:52Speaker 1: of African descent. Please welcome again one of my great
- 2:56Speaker 1: friends I like called one of my mentors. Please work
- 2:59Speaker 1: with the money Making coversation. Dr George Fraser. How good
- 3:03Speaker 1: to hear your voice. Good to be back with you. Well,
- 3:05Speaker 1: you know, whenever I bring you all, I kind of
- 3:07Speaker 1: like bring my pencil because I learned when I get
- 3:10Speaker 1: Dr George Fraser on show all I learned when I
- 3:13Speaker 1: listened to you too. You know you learn, you learn
- 3:15Speaker 1: when you're listen as well. Well, you know the beauty
- 3:18Speaker 1: of it. I know your your conference of was Lee
- 3:20Speaker 1: last month and um, but we always talked about generation wealth.
- 3:23Speaker 1: We always talking about black people always getting um second
- 3:27Speaker 1: hand information. Black people are minorities in period, especially people
- 3:32Speaker 1: of African descent, not understanding the pathway to success. And
- 3:36Speaker 1: there are a lot of pathways. And I brought you
- 3:38Speaker 1: on the show. It's a live show I now do
- 3:40Speaker 1: on w c LK every Tuesday. I wanted to reach
- 3:43Speaker 1: more people, especially people in the Atlanta market, and that's
- 3:46Speaker 1: one of the reasons I wanted to bring you on
- 3:47Speaker 1: the show because it'scuss some of your views and also
- 3:50Speaker 1: if we have time, take some questions and some phone calls.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Our phone number is four zero four eight eight zero
- 3:57Speaker 1: ve five. That's four zero four eight eight zero, Dr
- 4:01Speaker 1: jose Fraser. Uh. Talk about the importance of building a
- 4:04Speaker 1: solid foundation and financial legacy and that's your that is
- 4:09Speaker 1: your legacy. Oh yeah, And that's one of my favorite subjects.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And and I love you for covering it. And I
- 4:15Speaker 1: love being on your show because you're you're an expert
- 4:19Speaker 1: and you reach so many people and you're so knowledgeable
- 4:23Speaker 1: about a lot of things, and you have a tremendous
- 4:25Speaker 1: amount of energy and passion. So let me just say
- 4:28Speaker 1: it as I said it to you once before and
- 4:30Speaker 1: to your audience. To be black and beautiful in this
- 4:33Speaker 1: world means nothing unless you're black and powerful. White folks
- 4:36Speaker 1: are planning for three generations, and we're planning for Saturday night.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So the goal is to win, not to look like
- 4:42Speaker 1: we're winning. Right. I would rather carry a plastic bag
- 4:45Speaker 1: with five thousand dollars anything to carry a five thousand
- 4:48Speaker 1: dollar Louis v Don bag with a hundred dollars in it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It is interesting to me, Rashwan, the rich day rich
- 4:54Speaker 1: by pretending to be poor, and the poor stay poor
- 4:57Speaker 1: by pretending to be rich. And if we do not
- 5:01Speaker 1: change our activities, if we do not change our understanding
- 5:05Speaker 1: of capitalism and investment in the twenty one century, we
- 5:09Speaker 1: are headed into a second slavery and we have to
- 5:13Speaker 1: fix this. It was the great um Uh dr Amos
- 5:17Speaker 1: Wilson you can see his videos on YouTube, who said
- 5:20Speaker 1: our refusal as black people to confront the issue of
- 5:23Speaker 1: money and wealth is going to end up with our
- 5:26Speaker 1: very lives being threatened as people on this earth. So
- 5:30Speaker 1: we have to get our act together and we have
- 5:34Speaker 1: to become financially educated. When you say financially educated, what
- 5:38Speaker 1: do you mean? When I say financial education, I mean
- 5:42Speaker 1: learning the rules and the game of capitalism. It it
- 5:49Speaker 1: is educating ourselves around all of the elements that drive
- 5:56Speaker 1: capitalism and how we can leverage those opportunities and build
- 6:03Speaker 1: assets beyond the very conservative ways that we have built
- 6:07Speaker 1: assets over the last two generations. And what I'm what
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm suggesting is that we really need to look in
- 6:17Speaker 1: the latest opportunity of cryptocurrency. Because cryptocurrency is something that
- 6:24Speaker 1: I I hear a lot, I'm gonna I know nothing
- 6:27Speaker 1: about from a standpoint of how I can participate because
- 6:31Speaker 1: it feels very foreign to me, and it feels like
- 6:33Speaker 1: it's not a valid currency because I'm so used to
- 6:37Speaker 1: put my money in the bank. I'm so used to
- 6:39Speaker 1: going to the stock market. I'm so businessly buying a
- 6:41Speaker 1: home or buying a car. When I hear word cryptocurrency,
- 6:45Speaker 1: what what is blocking me? What information am I missing
- 6:48Speaker 1: that I'm not participating in? Dr Frasier, Well, I think
- 6:52Speaker 1: the first question that we have to ask ourselves so
- 6:55Speaker 1: that we will, we will be motivated to take an
- 6:57Speaker 1: interest in to take a deep dive into study. What
- 7:00Speaker 1: this whole cryptocurrency movement is about is we've got to
- 7:03Speaker 1: ask why crypto? Why crypto? And not you know, savings
- 7:07Speaker 1: accounts by the s c d S, mutual funds for
- 7:10Speaker 1: all one case and stock markets, the SMP five market,
- 7:16Speaker 1: real estate and gold. Right, those are the things that
- 7:19Speaker 1: we understand. Those are the things are hard and paper assets,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and those are the things that we're comfortable with, but
- 7:27Speaker 1: they're not going to allow us to get economic equity.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And what I mean by economic equity, Uh, the race
- 7:34Speaker 1: in which those assets pay us are not allow us
- 7:37Speaker 1: to close the income and wealth gap between black folk
- 7:40Speaker 1: and white folk. Right, white folks have ten times the
- 7:45Speaker 1: household median wealth as as black people. So we've got
- 7:49Speaker 1: to do some things that will help us close this gap.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And we've got to think outside of the box where
- 7:55Speaker 1: guess we're going to have to take some risks. Uh,
- 7:58Speaker 1: there's no question about that, but no risk, no reward.
- 8:02Speaker 1: We have got to find ways uh rashon to leverage
- 8:08Speaker 1: and compound the stacked and assets that we have. These
- 8:11Speaker 1: assets are stagnant, there there's the small percentage of interest
- 8:15Speaker 1: that we're making on Let's say, let's look at some
- 8:18Speaker 1: interest rates on some of the traditional investments that black
- 8:21Speaker 1: folks have made historically, including myself. Savings accounts. All right,
- 8:26Speaker 1: they're very, very safe, but the annual interest rate on
- 8:30Speaker 1: a savings account is a half a percent. That's not
- 8:33Speaker 1: even keeping up with inflation. So a half a percent
- 8:37Speaker 1: annually on your money. I just got a document from
- 8:40Speaker 1: a good friend who had eighty nine thousand dollars and
- 8:42Speaker 1: Wells Fargo in his savings account, and he wanted me
- 8:46Speaker 1: to see it because I was talking about it, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: he showed me his uh December the U statement of
- 8:54Speaker 1: this interest he rate he earned on eighty nine thou dollars.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'm looking at it. Earned seventy six cents on eighty
- 9:02Speaker 1: nine thousand dollars in a year from Wells Fargo. Do
- 9:07Speaker 1: you know how much Wells Fargo made on his eighty
- 9:09Speaker 1: nine thousand dollars And he only made seventy six cents. Now,
- 9:14Speaker 1: it's safe, there's no question about that. The FED, the
- 9:18Speaker 1: f D i C protects you in case the bank
- 9:21Speaker 1: goes down, but it's gonna take your thirty years to
- 9:24Speaker 1: get your money back. That's on average what it takes
- 9:27Speaker 1: if something if a bank fails and you and you're
- 9:29Speaker 1: protected by f D I C. But most importantly, you're
- 9:32Speaker 1: only you're only earning less than a half a percent
- 9:35Speaker 1: a year on your heart earned money. The principle is
- 9:38Speaker 1: to put your money to work harder for you than
- 9:40Speaker 1: you did for it. Take a five year c D.
- 9:44Speaker 1: A five year c D certificate of deposited only pays
- 9:48Speaker 1: one third of a penny, right, one third zero point
- 9:53Speaker 1: three one annually. Right, that's less than a savings account.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Mutual fund pays you about ten to four percent annually
- 10:05Speaker 1: on average. Four one K about ten to eleven percent annually.
- 10:11Speaker 1: The stock market about nine point two percent annually. UH
- 10:15Speaker 1: the SMP five market if you're if you're investing in
- 10:20Speaker 1: the best stocks, is about thirteen point six percent annually.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Real estate pays ten to eleven percent annually, and gold
- 10:29Speaker 1: if you invest in goal is about ten point six
- 10:31Speaker 1: percent annual. So let me tell you what I've done
- 10:34Speaker 1: with crypto in just nine months. I started in the
- 10:38Speaker 1: crypto space after studying it for a year, and I
- 10:42Speaker 1: started by entering one opportunity, one platform after studying that platform.
- 10:48Speaker 1: All right. So I started my crypto journey nine months ago.
- 10:54Speaker 1: This is the truth. I could show it to you,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I could verify it. I started with about ten thousand
- 10:59Speaker 1: dollars in cash. Where did I take it? I took
- 11:02Speaker 1: it from my savings account, which was paying me a
- 11:05Speaker 1: little or nothing less. Yeah, yeah, absolutely not, not less
- 11:12Speaker 1: than five percent, less than a half a percent. Apologize,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm giving it too much credit, less than a half
- 11:19Speaker 1: of this cent, all right. So I started with ten
- 11:22Speaker 1: thousand dollars cash, which I took from my savings account,
- 11:25Speaker 1: which would pay me less than a half a percent,
- 11:27Speaker 1: of which I had sixty tho dollars in because we
- 11:29Speaker 1: were always taught to say for a rainy day, right,
- 11:33Speaker 1: that was my rainy day money. I took ten thousand
- 11:36Speaker 1: dollars cash out of that. In January of this year,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I invested in a a crypto platform call for Sage,
- 11:47Speaker 1: which was really an ethereum. Uh. You know, there's etherium,
- 11:50Speaker 1: there's bitcoin. Bitcoin is the is uh is the number
- 11:54Speaker 1: one cryptocurrency and ethereum is the number two cryptocurrency. Bitcoin
- 12:01Speaker 1: is it about forty six thousand dollars of coin and
- 12:03Speaker 1: Ethereum today is about thirty four thousand dollars a coin.
- 12:07Speaker 1: But when I invested in it um, let's see nine
- 12:12Speaker 1: months ago. No, it's actually a little bit more than that,
- 12:16Speaker 1: about twelve months ago. But a year ago Etherium was
- 12:19Speaker 1: a hundred and ninety seven dollars a coin. Today. Okay, okay, okay,
- 12:25Speaker 1: doctor you about to give me man now. Now you
- 12:28Speaker 1: just say it is thirty four thousand dollars a coin,
- 12:32Speaker 1: and you invested when it was a hundred dollars a coin, right,
- 12:34Speaker 1: that's what you're just saying. Well, you know on ethereum.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Ethereum is thirty four hundred dollars a coin. I invested
- 12:42Speaker 1: in it about a year ago when it was a
- 12:44Speaker 1: hundred and ninety seven dollars a coin, and my investment
- 12:48Speaker 1: today is worth eighty seven thousand dollars cash money. Then
- 12:54Speaker 1: I invested in my second platform, this is no PS
- 12:58Speaker 1: for Sean and was called cash. It was called CFX
- 13:02Speaker 1: all cash FX. That was an investment in the foreign
- 13:05Speaker 1: exchange market. You get in with bitcoin, you get and
- 13:08Speaker 1: you get paid in bitcoin. I invested seven thousand dollars
- 13:13Speaker 1: in CFX. Today my seven thousand dollars is worth nineties
- 13:18Speaker 1: six thousand dollars. My third investment was in hyper fund,
- 13:25Speaker 1: which is investment in the crypto ecosystem, and that investment
- 13:30Speaker 1: I invested about five thousand dollars. That investment is worth
- 13:36Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars. Right. So when you look at the
- 13:40Speaker 1: money that I invested about ten thousand dollars, right, I
- 13:45Speaker 1: have earned two hundred and thirty six thousand dollars or
- 13:49Speaker 1: a twenty four hundred percent return on my investment in
- 13:54Speaker 1: less than a year. That's that's on the market that
- 13:57Speaker 1: I said earlier that I have a few to sit
- 14:00Speaker 1: down to learn about. And that's what so many African
- 14:03Speaker 1: Americans are. People are color or minoritiests are refusing to
- 14:06Speaker 1: educate themselves. And that's why I really started this show
- 14:08Speaker 1: because I wanted to start. I want to engage more people,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Dr Fraser, because my fears shouldn't be your fear. And
- 14:13Speaker 1: we're gonna go to a break, and before we go
- 14:15Speaker 1: to the break, I want to give out the phone
- 14:16Speaker 1: number is four zero four eight eight zero nine two
- 14:19Speaker 1: five times excuse five five zero four eight A zero
- 14:24Speaker 1: nine to five five. If you want to call and
- 14:25Speaker 1: make a comment, please do. I'm presently talking to Dr
- 14:28Speaker 1: George C. Fraser. He's the chairman and CEO of Frasier
- 14:31Speaker 1: Net Inc. The company founded over thirty years ago. The
- 14:35Speaker 1: person I met twenty years ago when I was with
- 14:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. That's how all I've known this brother, and
- 14:40Speaker 1: he's a great brother. He's providing information on w C. Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 1: come back because we want to hear you on the
- 14:45Speaker 1: phone or we want to hear some more from Dr
- 14:47Speaker 1: George C. Frasier. It's finally here, the season of celebration.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And no matter how you celebrate with family and friends,
- 14:54Speaker 1: whether you're preparing for Reyes Margos or Karamu lighting the Manura,

- 15:11Speaker 1: blankets and throws. Support minority owned or founded brands by

- 15:18Speaker 1: them to everyone's favorite active wear from top brands like Nike, Adidas,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and under Armor. And in the spirit of giving, Coals
- 15:26Speaker 1: Cares is donating eight million dollars to local nonprofits nationwide,
- 15:30Speaker 1: committed to the health and well being of our communities.
- 15:33Speaker 1: No matter how you celebrate, when you shop at coals,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you're right where you belong. So this season give with

- 15:48Speaker 1: one else grows in the forest. Our imagination, our sense
- 15:51Speaker 1: of wonder, and our family bonds grow too, because when
- 15:55Speaker 1: we disconnect from this and connect with this, we reconnect
- 16:02Speaker 1: with each other. The forest is closer than you think.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Find a forest near you and start exploring. I Discover
- 16:08Speaker 1: the Forest dot org brought to you by the United

- 16:21Speaker 1: a tree. They see the wrinkled face of a wizard
- 16:25Speaker 1: with arms outstretched to the sky. They see treasuring pebbles,
- 16:29Speaker 1: They see a windy path that could lead to adventure,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and they see you. They're fearless. Guide. Is this fascinating world?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Find a forest near you and start exploring and discover
- 16:40Speaker 1: the Forest dot org brought to you by the United
- 16:42Speaker 1: States Forest Service and the AD Council. Now let's return
- 16:45Speaker 1: to Money Making Conversations Live with rus Sean McDonald. If
- 16:49Speaker 1: you have questions or comments, call four zero four zero.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Welcome back to Money Making Conversation. I am your hostros
- 16:58Speaker 1: Sean mcdone. Might make Conversations a platform I created to
- 17:02Speaker 1: supply everybody with information, not just a few people. The
- 17:05Speaker 1: problem with this world, especially in the minority community, is
- 17:07Speaker 1: that information is kind of like precious. You know, a
- 17:11Speaker 1: few people get it and don't want to share. And
- 17:13Speaker 1: what I've what I've been doing for the longest, since
- 17:16Speaker 1: I started by making Conversation in seventeen, is to bring
- 17:18Speaker 1: individuals on. I have ash cash. He's owned. After this,
- 17:22Speaker 1: after this break, he's gonna be on the show in
- 17:23Speaker 1: studio talking about motivating people to success. But I felt
- 17:26Speaker 1: there was no one that could do it better. It
- 17:28Speaker 1: started today with Dr George C. Fraser, because that's a
- 17:31Speaker 1: certain honesty about him. Plus, you know, he's been through decades.
- 17:35Speaker 1: You know, you want somebody to have been through a
- 17:37Speaker 1: lot of decades. He's been through the Civil Rights decade,
- 17:39Speaker 1: he had been through the Big Afro decades. He had
- 17:42Speaker 1: been through seventy seven absolutely decades. I've something after that,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I made a lot of mistakes. I failed my way
- 17:51Speaker 1: to success. But I was curious. I was, and that's
- 17:54Speaker 1: the key. And you've got to be intellectually curious. You
- 17:57Speaker 1: gotta do their study, take the deep dive so that
- 18:00Speaker 1: you to do some critical thinking and then, as Bernie
- 18:02Speaker 1: macauld say, bust the damn move. Do something different, you know.
- 18:05Speaker 1: And an interesting thing about that, Dr Georgey Fraser, is
- 18:08Speaker 1: that we know when I listened listen to you. First
- 18:10Speaker 1: of all, people are always worried about their age. And
- 18:13Speaker 1: I always say that the top of my show, because
- 18:15Speaker 1: I really didn't find out who I was until I
- 18:17Speaker 1: was in my forties. Accept the responsibility of what I
- 18:20Speaker 1: could accomplish, you know, because a lot of people waiting
- 18:23Speaker 1: for this magic hit fifty, they just stop and it
- 18:26Speaker 1: hit sixty, and they think the government is going to
- 18:28Speaker 1: take care of them with something in retirement, and we
- 18:31Speaker 1: all know that's a lot that's worse than the interest rate.
- 18:34Speaker 1: And so the reason I've always looked at you because
- 18:38Speaker 1: you remain topical and it's not like you're trying to
- 18:41Speaker 1: be young, just like I'm not trying to be young.
- 18:43Speaker 1: But the information you always gave my audience and me
- 18:46Speaker 1: was so relevant. What would guide you down that line
- 18:50Speaker 1: of being saying, you know something, I'm just I'm just
- 18:52Speaker 1: a sponge, but I'm not going to act like I
- 18:54Speaker 1: know more, but I want to share more. Talk about
- 18:57Speaker 1: you for a little bit. Yeah, you know. My goal
- 19:02Speaker 1: is to give back the knowledge that the Creator has
- 19:07Speaker 1: allowed me to learn, that He has poured into me,
- 19:11Speaker 1: that I have learned, and my moral responsibility and spiritual
- 19:16Speaker 1: responsibility is to give it back because that is the
- 19:20Speaker 1: purpose of life. Brashan, The purpose of life is very simple.
- 19:23Speaker 1: God doesn't make anything complicated. We make things complicated. We
- 19:27Speaker 1: make things complicated so we don't have to do it.
- 19:29Speaker 1: The more complicated we make it, the more reasons we
- 19:31Speaker 1: have and not doing it. And we make things complicated
- 19:34Speaker 1: to control power. If I am the only one that
- 19:37Speaker 1: knows a certain thing, and I have power over you.
- 19:40Speaker 1: So my job is to keep it simple and to
- 19:44Speaker 1: share it. That is the reason God has given me
- 19:47Speaker 1: more and more information, because the more He gives me,
- 19:50Speaker 1: the more I share, and that is concluent with the
- 19:53Speaker 1: purpose of life. The purpose of life is very simple.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It is to love, to give, to serve, and to
- 19:59Speaker 1: add the I is value to somebody or something every
- 20:02Speaker 1: single minute of every single day. That is why we
- 20:05Speaker 1: are living. There is no other reason for you to
- 20:07Speaker 1: be sucking up this good a. It's loving, giving, serving
- 20:10Speaker 1: and adding value. So I want to add value. I
- 20:13Speaker 1: want to get to heaven, right, and I'm going to
- 20:15Speaker 1: get to heaven by giving away. When I see this
- 20:18Speaker 1: metaphorically giving away that which I have been given so
- 20:22Speaker 1: that it can be leveraged and more about people can
- 20:26Speaker 1: benefit from the assets and the knowledge, uh, and and
- 20:30Speaker 1: the successes that I have achieved. That's really what it's
- 20:33Speaker 1: all about. That's that's really uh. Let me give you
- 20:37Speaker 1: a metaphor, but it's called teamwork. Okay, let me give
- 20:40Speaker 1: you a metaphor. This is a one and it's a
- 20:42Speaker 1: true story. I'm gonna ask you a question, simple question.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Who holds the world records for one hundreds? Who holds
- 20:52Speaker 1: the world record for one hundred? The answer to that
- 20:57Speaker 1: is the same both from Jamaica. Right was saying, right,
- 21:01Speaker 1: he did it at nine point five eight seconds. He
- 21:06Speaker 1: holds the world record four hundred meters at nine point
- 21:10Speaker 1: five eight seconds. Now, the next question is who owns
- 21:14Speaker 1: the four by one hundred relay world record. Who holds that.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It is the Jamaican track team, the men's Jamaican track team,
- 21:23Speaker 1: of which you say Boat runs on. They finished the
- 21:29Speaker 1: four by one hundred and thirty six point eight four seconds. Now,
- 21:37Speaker 1: if you do your math, that's nine point to one
- 21:41Speaker 1: seconds or thirty one seconds faster than the world record.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And Hussein Boat was on that relay team and they
- 21:51Speaker 1: ran four one hundred meters faster than he ran a
- 21:55Speaker 1: single one hundred meters. So what does that mean? That
- 21:57Speaker 1: means when we work together, when we collaborate eight, when
- 22:00Speaker 1: we share, when we share, when we run together, none
- 22:04Speaker 1: of us is as good as all of us put together.
- 22:07Speaker 1: So we've got to run together. We've got to run
- 22:09Speaker 1: is one that means we have to share. If I
- 22:12Speaker 1: have good knowledge and good information, I will share it
- 22:16Speaker 1: with you. If you want to do something I'm doing,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I make it easy for you to do that. Dr Frasier,
- 22:23Speaker 1: we have a call here. Uh, like I said Warrant
- 22:25Speaker 1: from Atlanta, he has He's called and answer question on
- 22:28Speaker 1: money making conversation, Warren, how are you doing that? I'm good?
- 22:31Speaker 1: How are you? I have Dr George fres c Fraser
- 22:33Speaker 1: on the call here. Uh? What was your question, my friend,
- 22:35Speaker 1: and thank you for calling in on money Making Conversation
- 22:37Speaker 1: on w C. Okay, sure, Dr Fraser, how are you
- 22:41Speaker 1: this evening? I'm doing wonderful. Thank you. Good. Um. With
- 22:45Speaker 1: thirty years of experience with entrepreneurship among the black community,
- 22:52Speaker 1: how would you prioritize the cryptocurrency you mentioned among the
- 22:57Speaker 1: other opportunities that exist for entrepreneurs to do well in
- 23:01Speaker 1: the community. We have an absence of media, we have food,
- 23:06Speaker 1: deserts and the like. How would you rank cryptocurrency? Well,
- 23:13Speaker 1: I think the nut The number one thing that Black
- 23:16Speaker 1: folks have to focus on in the twenty one century
- 23:19Speaker 1: is building wealth that will come through financial literacy and
- 23:23Speaker 1: financial education. What's the first thing slaves day when they
- 23:25Speaker 1: became free, they saw building small schools or classrooms, and
- 23:29Speaker 1: small schools and larger schools and there within hudrogen as
- 23:32Speaker 1: we had an entire system of historically black colleges and university.
- 23:36Speaker 1: So education, education, that's the number one priority. Is financial
- 23:42Speaker 1: education that will lead to building wealth and closing the
- 23:46Speaker 1: income and wealth gap and then ultimately creating working jobs
- 23:50Speaker 1: for our people as hopefully we will become the number
- 23:53Speaker 1: one employer of our own people by the end of
- 23:56Speaker 1: the twenty one century, which means that we also have
- 23:58Speaker 1: to engage in business building. So if I was to
- 24:03Speaker 1: categorize under the headline of financial education and economic development,
- 24:13Speaker 1: under the headline which is number one, that's that's the
- 24:17Speaker 1: number one thing under that headline would be business building,
- 24:25Speaker 1: business building, and then number two would be um uh,
- 24:31Speaker 1: taking advantage of the newest economic opportunity for closing the
- 24:39Speaker 1: income and wealth gap, and that is cryptocurrency. That's the
- 24:43Speaker 1: number one of the area of interest that we need
- 24:50Speaker 1: to be folks, if we really really want to close
- 24:53Speaker 1: this gap cryptocurrency, will you say that, Dr Fraser, That
- 24:57Speaker 1: also means you have to lend lend yourself to educ
- 25:00Speaker 1: ation and uh and also and not and walk into
- 25:03Speaker 1: the valley of the unknown, because, like you said earlier,
- 25:06Speaker 1: my whole thing about the show and I'm glad people
- 25:08Speaker 1: are calling in. If we've got enough number of cars,
- 25:10Speaker 1: we want to talk to you today on the show.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And thank you for calling again on coming in on
- 25:13Speaker 1: my show to day and to discuss this. Dr GEORGEI. Frasier.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Is that thank you, my friend, Thank you Warren for
- 25:19Speaker 1: calling in and called back next week. We have more
- 25:21Speaker 1: important people on the show that it's gonna lead you
- 25:23Speaker 1: to areas that are gonna give you information to win with.
- 25:26Speaker 1: It's about money making conversation. But what I want to
- 25:28Speaker 1: say about cryptocurrency what I like to always tell people,
- 25:31Speaker 1: but I have flaws and what I won't do. No
- 25:33Speaker 1: matter what how you see I live in or what
- 25:36Speaker 1: what you see me post on social media? What what
- 25:38Speaker 1: call you see me? Drive that just me? A perfect
- 25:40Speaker 1: person is driving that vehicle. Is a person who is
- 25:43Speaker 1: fear as a person who has doubts about himself, but
- 25:46Speaker 1: he over overcome that because of the fact I have
- 25:48Speaker 1: relationship and mentors and people are conturned to for advice.
- 25:52Speaker 1: This show is like your advice show. You call in,
- 25:55Speaker 1: we give your advice. You go do your research. Please
- 25:57Speaker 1: do not hold us accountable if you don't do your research.
- 26:00Speaker 1: And even if you do your research, don't hold us
- 26:01Speaker 1: accountable because you got them in other words, could be
- 26:05Speaker 1: a lady or man, listen to me, man up. I'm
- 26:07Speaker 1: just using a general statement about your life. If you
- 26:10Speaker 1: want to stay play it safe and keep your money
- 26:12Speaker 1: and saving, keep it there, keep it there. But don't
- 26:16Speaker 1: be mad if you're friend does not play a safe
- 26:21Speaker 1: and they invest a little bit of money. Like he
- 26:23Speaker 1: can say a hundred thousand dollars, he didn't say a
- 26:25Speaker 1: million dollars. He said he broke it up ten thousand
- 26:28Speaker 1: dollars in three different ways, and he came back a
- 26:30Speaker 1: happy man. Now I'm mad at him because he didn't
- 26:33Speaker 1: tell me. That's all. That's all I gotta said about
- 26:35Speaker 1: the r He didn't tell me because he got my number.
- 26:38Speaker 1: He got my number everybody, but he didn't tell me though.
- 26:41Speaker 1: So I'm gonna I'm gonna put this out. I love what.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I love you for saying that. I love you for
- 26:45Speaker 1: saying that because because it makes a very very very
- 26:48Speaker 1: important point. We cannot not do something because either we
- 26:56Speaker 1: fear it or operating out of a scarcity mentalente or
- 27:00Speaker 1: fear mentality, or we don't know. There are brothers and
- 27:05Speaker 1: sisters that do know. So I have five hundred people
- 27:09Speaker 1: in my network who are interested in crypto, and we
- 27:14Speaker 1: bring in the experts. We try to understand what are
- 27:18Speaker 1: the best, best best platforms to invest in. So, because
- 27:22Speaker 1: you don't know, are the people in your audience may
- 27:24Speaker 1: not know if they got in touch with me, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: do know, and I can prove that I know, and
- 27:32Speaker 1: then I could help it along with my team who
- 27:34Speaker 1: are experts in this space, help you make the right
- 27:39Speaker 1: and the safest investment. Doesn't mean that it still isn't
- 27:42Speaker 1: the risk, of course, it's all risk. Everything is risking
- 27:46Speaker 1: that you invest in the stock market is all risk.
- 27:48Speaker 1: A question about it? And Dr George I want to
- 27:52Speaker 1: get in one more call before we go to break.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Rodriguez in Atlanta has another cryptocurrency. Like I said, you're
- 27:57Speaker 1: on fire today. You're on fire today and I love it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I love it? Right, Rickuez? All, this is Rashan McDonald
- 28:02Speaker 1: speaking to you, and on the call is also Dr
- 28:04Speaker 1: Georgie Fraser. What's your question? Hello? Or is still there?
- 28:12Speaker 1: What's the next person here? Okay? Turnbow Indicata. You had
- 28:15Speaker 1: a question about the investment turnball, turnbout? Is your turnball
- 28:20Speaker 1: or turn abound? Turnbo? Okay, and thank you for calling
- 28:25Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation. What is your question if you want
- 28:27Speaker 1: to ask on Money Making Conversation today? Okay? My question
- 28:31Speaker 1: is um? What about Um? We're talked about cryptocurrency and
- 28:38Speaker 1: it sounds really good, but what about for those folks
- 28:41Speaker 1: don't have you know, a large amount of money to invest?
- 28:46Speaker 1: In cryptocurrencies or something like that. Is there a another
- 28:51Speaker 1: level below that where we can start to get in
- 28:54Speaker 1: and see some uh, see some good returns. Yes, of
- 29:00Speaker 1: course there is. You can start with as little as
- 29:03Speaker 1: three hundred dollars. I started with ten thousand dollars because
- 29:06Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars it's like three hundred dollars to me,
- 29:09Speaker 1: So if I lost it tomorrow wouldn't make one damn
- 29:11Speaker 1: bit of difference in my life. You can start with
- 29:14Speaker 1: three hundred dollars. Absolutely, you know that. The beauty of
- 29:19Speaker 1: what I would what you just said is people tend
- 29:21Speaker 1: to put value on what I can start. You know,
- 29:23Speaker 1: don't look at the mansion if you if you need
- 29:25Speaker 1: to be started in an apartment. And I always tell people,
- 29:28Speaker 1: you know, if you make a hundred thousand dollars, you're
- 29:30Speaker 1: not gonna live a lifestyle of a ten thousand dollar person.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Because I wish I could still keep buying the same
- 29:35Speaker 1: two page, keep buying the same because you will elevate
- 29:38Speaker 1: your game. That's all he said. If he had three
- 29:40Speaker 1: hdd dollars, he would invest it, but he got ten
- 29:42Speaker 1: thousand dollars. So you took it the wrong way. You
- 29:44Speaker 1: took it like he had a lot of money and
- 29:46Speaker 1: you had a lot of money. But to participate. This
- 29:49Speaker 1: is money making conversations. We're just breaking it down to
- 29:52Speaker 1: everybody who's listening. Listen to me right now. You can
- 29:55Speaker 1: be part of the big dream, but you have to
- 29:58Speaker 1: stop shutting yourself up down and hearing what you want
- 30:01Speaker 1: to hear. And that's when I go back to the
- 30:04Speaker 1: point education and what stops people for investing in themselves
- 30:08Speaker 1: or in the stock they are fearful. You can buy
- 30:12Speaker 1: five dollar stock, you can buy penny stock, you can
- 30:15Speaker 1: buy anything you want. But what you do is you
- 30:18Speaker 1: look at and you look at on TV and you see,
- 30:20Speaker 1: you know, you see the Amazon CEO, billion dollar man.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You see the guy going to space, and you know
- 30:25Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You say, I can never go to
- 30:26Speaker 1: space because I I can't afford a hundred and twenty
- 30:29Speaker 1: five thousand space c Well, you weren't supposed to be
- 30:32Speaker 1: trying to get that ct. What you're supposed to be
- 30:34Speaker 1: doing is looking at how he got there. Do your
- 30:36Speaker 1: research so you can get there. And that's what this
- 30:39Speaker 1: show is about getting you there. And that's why I
- 30:41Speaker 1: brought Dr Georgie Fraser. I got my man, asked cast
- 30:44Speaker 1: he's in banking, so understand that this conversation about money
- 30:47Speaker 1: making conversations. Now, if you want to be part of
- 30:49Speaker 1: the money, may come say called me right now four
- 30:52Speaker 1: zero four eight a zero. I gotta let my man
- 30:56Speaker 1: go right now. But he's gonna come back because right
- 30:58Speaker 1: now he brought fire. He brought fire to might making conversations.
- 31:02Speaker 1: M GEOSEI frage. I want to thank you, brother for
- 31:04Speaker 1: coming on my show. Love you, love you, you know
- 31:09Speaker 1: you all right? Please Krypto Carzy Kid right in Cryptocarcy Kid.
- 31:14Speaker 1: We'll be right back in war money making conversations. Thank you, brother, Jr. George.
- 31:18Speaker 1: The phrase will be right back from a man asked
- 31:20Speaker 1: cash right in Atlanta. He brought me on his TV show,
- 31:22Speaker 1: on his podcast. Now I got him on my Money

- 32:15Speaker 1: the diaper bag wasn't closed. Diapers and toys are everywhere.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Oh but mom has just nailed the perfect car seat

- 32:27Speaker 1: looks to be about nine or ten, has secured herself
- 32:30Speaker 1: in the booster seat. Dad zips the bag clothes and
- 32:33Speaker 1: they're off. Ah, but looks like Mom doesn't realize her

- 32:39Speaker 1: and there it goes. Ah. That's a shame that mug

- 33:36Speaker 1: have questions or comments, called four zero four zero Wow.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Welcome back to money Making Conversation. I am your host
- 33:44Speaker 1: with Sean McDonald. I would say this all the time.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I tell people to stop reading other people's success stories
- 33:50Speaker 1: and start writing your own. That's important. When I tell
- 33:53Speaker 1: that's about motivation, and I don't know if I can
- 33:55Speaker 1: motivate people to understand how valuable they are. And when
- 33:58Speaker 1: I say that is that I get up every day
- 34:00Speaker 1: at four thirty am. A lot of people go who
- 34:03Speaker 1: I meaning people when I say that time the average
- 34:05Speaker 1: print every day. Well, that's part of my plan. So
- 34:09Speaker 1: if you have a plan, because I have to get
- 34:11Speaker 1: up at that time, because if I get up at six,
- 34:13Speaker 1: then I realized that that fourth third I get up,
- 34:15Speaker 1: I kind of stumbled around the house. I pick up
- 34:18Speaker 1: a newspaper. Nobody's bothering you at four thirty in the morning,
- 34:21Speaker 1: I watch a TV show I want to watch. I
- 34:23Speaker 1: can just make some food that I want to eat.
- 34:26Speaker 1: So set your time to make you win. And so
- 34:29Speaker 1: my next cast is a guy that, first of all
- 34:31Speaker 1: as the energy is beautiful. If you still have questions
- 34:34Speaker 1: about banking, about financial he's a financial motivator, but I
- 34:38Speaker 1: love the reason I love him to let me introduce
- 34:40Speaker 1: him right quickly again. Our call number is four zero
- 34:43Speaker 1: four eight a zero five. That's four zero four eight
- 34:48Speaker 1: eight zero five. But next cast is Ash Cash. He's
- 34:53Speaker 1: one of the nation's top financial educators, personal finance expert,
- 34:57Speaker 1: business coach, motivational speaker, form for of teen year banking
- 35:01Speaker 1: executive and the author of many books, including four Amazon
- 35:04Speaker 1: dot com best sellers. I ave read one book. Okay,
- 35:09Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know. He has been featured
- 35:11Speaker 1: on many media outlets as at CNN, The New York Times,
- 35:14Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal, American Bankers, CNBC, The Street, dot Com,
- 35:18Speaker 1: Black Enterprise, ES Magazine, and Ebony. He is dubbed as
- 35:21Speaker 1: the financial motivator. He used a culturally responsive approach and
- 35:25Speaker 1: teaching financial literacy, wealth building, and entrepreneurship Above all. His credentials, acclades,
- 35:31Speaker 1: and titles actually simply known for helping people maximize their
- 35:35Speaker 1: full potential. That's what we deal here. Please work with
- 35:37Speaker 1: money making conversations. Ash Cash, Hey brother, thank you for
- 35:41Speaker 1: having me. Oh man, I'm so excited because I'm in
- 35:46Speaker 1: the presence of a legend. Then I got there here
- 35:49Speaker 1: a legend on the phone. Man, it's it's a beautiful day.
- 35:52Speaker 1: It's a beautiful day. Well as you know that. The
- 35:55Speaker 1: our relationship has been unique because we've seen each other
- 35:58Speaker 1: from Afar and then we met each other. We fell
- 36:01Speaker 1: in love like brothers. And then the whole approach is
- 36:03Speaker 1: tied to your whole world is about helping people. But
- 36:06Speaker 1: the thing I like about you because the reason I
- 36:09Speaker 1: brought you on the show with George Georgie Fraser, Dr
- 36:11Speaker 1: Georgie Fraser's that he's a technical guy. So sometimes you
- 36:15Speaker 1: can get lost in his technical, technical style of teaching
- 36:19Speaker 1: where you are a common senstem and no, no, no negative,
- 36:21Speaker 1: Dr Georgie Fraser, but you break it down, it's such
- 36:24Speaker 1: a common natural way that doesn't throw fear in the
- 36:28Speaker 1: people talk about that. Yeah, you know, it's it's it's
- 36:31Speaker 1: funny because you mentioned that was a fifteen year banking executive.
- 36:34Speaker 1: So first and all, once I grew up in the projects, right, um,
- 36:38Speaker 1: and so growing up in the projects, really didn't have
- 36:40Speaker 1: money hustler you know, you know, packing bags at AID,
- 36:44Speaker 1: doing selling mixtapes and T shirts. So I know that
- 36:46Speaker 1: entrepreneur life. But I was fortunate to get into banking,
- 36:50Speaker 1: and I started at nineteen years old and did everything
- 36:52Speaker 1: in banking from personal banker, private banker, branch manag just
- 36:55Speaker 1: see over credit Union, right. And when I realized when
- 36:58Speaker 1: I was a private bank I was meaning your money
- 37:00Speaker 1: for wealthy individuals and they had a team. But then
- 37:03Speaker 1: I thought about my people back at home, and I said,
- 37:06Speaker 1: we don't even got one person teachings about money. So
- 37:08Speaker 1: I said, you know, in the words of the honorable
- 37:10Speaker 1: Seawan called to jay Z, there's much bigger issues in
- 37:13Speaker 1: the world, I know, But I first had to take
- 37:16Speaker 1: care of the world. I know. And so for me,
- 37:18Speaker 1: I said, listen, if I'm a guy who's from the neighborhood,
- 37:22Speaker 1: I understand hip hop and understand the language. I understand,
- 37:25Speaker 1: you know, what we need from our community. And you know,
- 37:28Speaker 1: I was able to make it to the c suite
- 37:29Speaker 1: and the from a banker perspective. What if I just
- 37:32Speaker 1: took that knowledge and I brought it back to our people.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Um and and as they say, put the medicine in
- 37:37Speaker 1: the candy, um and so that and and that's been
- 37:40Speaker 1: my life, like that is my life. Mission is exactly
- 37:43Speaker 1: what Dr Fraser was saying was really you know, you know,
- 37:47Speaker 1: closing that wealth gap specifically for our people, because we have,
- 37:51Speaker 1: you know, everything that we need to live the best
- 37:54Speaker 1: possible life. We just need the education and we need
- 37:57Speaker 1: we need that education in a way that we could
- 38:00Speaker 1: understand it. And then once we understand it, then there's
- 38:02Speaker 1: no excuse why we're not implementing it. Cool, we have
- 38:05Speaker 1: a call here Chantel in Marietta, Georgia. You have a
- 38:09Speaker 1: question about investment or please welcome to the show. You're
- 38:11Speaker 1: on the airline would be not right now, I'm interviewing
- 38:14Speaker 1: ash cast and of course I'm Rushan McDonald. What you
- 38:16Speaker 1: have to tell? What's your question? How are you guys
- 38:19Speaker 1: doing this season? Um, I'm curious. Um, I've been listening
- 38:24Speaker 1: for you all a couple of days now, just hear
- 38:26Speaker 1: about young people getting educated and taking a chance and investing.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I'm curious. I've been doing like, um, I haven't one
- 38:33Speaker 1: five work for a government, but the passive income and
- 38:36Speaker 1: in between just trying to find my niche I keep
- 38:39Speaker 1: doing like these um uh quick little schemes. I guess.
- 38:44Speaker 1: So maybe door dash or insta carter trying to make
- 38:47Speaker 1: just that income in between instead of check the check
- 38:50Speaker 1: my next endeavor. I'm curious about taking a chance with
- 38:53Speaker 1: investment for a t M and if you think it's profitable.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I am in the Marryatta outside Atlanta air ye, and
- 39:00Speaker 1: I just have the um go for one after the
- 39:03Speaker 1: next minute and grow. Let me, let me, let me,
- 39:06Speaker 1: let me cut you off a little bit right quick,
- 39:08Speaker 1: because you said the word that I don't ever want
- 39:10Speaker 1: you to use when you're talking about invest the word scheme. Yes, yeah, yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 1: when that came out, I'm gonna let ask cash talk.
- 39:17Speaker 1: But we're in the same way you scheme, I said,
- 39:23Speaker 1: I've never used the word scheme playing in my financial future.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I can afraid that somebody goes the logo coming through
- 39:28Speaker 1: the back door in the front door. Well, I don't
- 39:32Speaker 1: do that, hustle though. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's not better either.
- 39:35Speaker 1: That's not better either. UM. You know, the here's the
- 39:39Speaker 1: here's the thing, um is that um, you know, focus
- 39:43Speaker 1: on what you really want to focus on, um, and
- 39:47Speaker 1: not necessarily the money aspect of it, right, because like
- 39:50Speaker 1: you said, you have the nine to five right, and
- 39:53Speaker 1: then now you're trying to find another way to create
- 39:57Speaker 1: passive income. I have been in that same before, and
- 40:01Speaker 1: I have been in your spot where I was tritting
- 40:02Speaker 1: different things for my in and this in and that.
- 40:04Speaker 1: And the thing that happened was I said, you know what,
- 40:07Speaker 1: forget the money, right, meaning that if I'm only chasing
- 40:11Speaker 1: money and I am wasting my time because money is
- 40:14Speaker 1: gonna come and go, You're gonna realize that money is
- 40:16Speaker 1: gonna come and go. But if you chase after something
- 40:19Speaker 1: that you are aligned with, not hustling, right, not a scheme,
- 40:23Speaker 1: But I want you to be aligned with what you're
- 40:25Speaker 1: doing right, So I'll give you an example. So for me,
- 40:28Speaker 1: I said, hey, I want to educate people. But me
- 40:31Speaker 1: educating people? I said, how am I gonna pay I'm married,
- 40:35Speaker 1: I got two kids. How am I gonna pay the
- 40:36Speaker 1: bills by just educating? But my passion? I was going
- 40:40Speaker 1: to inner city schools. I was teaching financial literacy, and
- 40:43Speaker 1: I said, how can I turn my passion into a business, right,
- 40:48Speaker 1: not a side hustle, not a scheme, but actual business?
- 40:51Speaker 1: And then I said, oh, let me write a book.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Then I said, let me go, you know, go to
- 40:55Speaker 1: schools and and become a speaker. Let me go correct, right,
- 40:58Speaker 1: And I think that that's what you need to find
- 40:59Speaker 1: out first and foremost is what are you passionate about?
- 41:03Speaker 1: And does that passion feel a need? And how can
- 41:06Speaker 1: you feel that need. Once you do that and you
- 41:09Speaker 1: start making money, then let's start talking about how we
- 41:13Speaker 1: could take that money, like Dr Fraser said, and start
- 41:15Speaker 1: investing it in different vehicles so that money could grow.
- 41:19Speaker 1: But first, but if you but if you're after the money. First,
- 41:22Speaker 1: I personally wouldn't say to do that. I would say,
- 41:24Speaker 1: find that passion. Find how you that passing could feel
- 41:27Speaker 1: a need. And once you have that need, feel that
- 41:30Speaker 1: you start making money from it. Now take some of
- 41:32Speaker 1: that money and start investing in other places so it
- 41:35Speaker 1: could grow. And I'm just follows up shantail money is interesting.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Money is really interesting because it makes people make bad
- 41:42Speaker 1: decision and good decision. Okay, the bad decision is that
- 41:46Speaker 1: if you invest something that you can't lose, and a
- 41:49Speaker 1: lot of people understand that. See, you can invest if
- 41:52Speaker 1: you if your time is valuable, which you should be,
- 41:55Speaker 1: people invest it, but they'll understand that investment that you
- 41:57Speaker 1: can lose, you can't get time back. And so when
- 42:00Speaker 1: you put it out there and so so people understand
- 42:02Speaker 1: that money is the same thing. And so I run
- 42:06Speaker 1: the opportunity route too. I would tell people all the time,
- 42:09Speaker 1: I said, when I go on the grocery store, my
- 42:11Speaker 1: goal has always been I just buy what I want.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I technically don't even look at the price. Now I
- 42:18Speaker 1: do shop with coupons. If I have some coupons, I
- 42:20Speaker 1: go in there make sure if I got to two
- 42:22Speaker 1: eggs or offers of milk or I will do that.
- 42:26Speaker 1: That's when I'm looking for a price. But technically I'm
- 42:28Speaker 1: just going in there. But I'm also a guy who
- 42:30Speaker 1: will take advantage of an opportunity. And I'm just telling
- 42:32Speaker 1: you is that just reframe your thought process. Don't use
- 42:36Speaker 1: words like hustle, don't use words like scheme because you
- 42:39Speaker 1: need to articulate your conversation to people who appreciate the
- 42:42Speaker 1: value of a plan. And right now, just put your
- 42:45Speaker 1: plan in action. Realize your time is an investment, and
- 42:49Speaker 1: then you should outline your your time with a schedule,
- 42:52Speaker 1: and that schedule has to be consistent. And when it's consistent,
- 42:55Speaker 1: like I said earlier, I get up at four thirty
- 42:57Speaker 1: everyday Monday through Friday. That's my winning time. Your winning
- 43:00Speaker 1: time might be five thirty, you're when your time might
- 43:02Speaker 1: be six thirty, But what your winning time came be
- 43:05Speaker 1: four thirty on Tuesday, six o'clock on Wednesday, seven o'clock
- 43:08Speaker 1: on Thursday, three o'clock on Friday. Your body, in your mind,
- 43:12Speaker 1: we've wat and so so I just want you to
- 43:14Speaker 1: understand that. Thank you for calling the show today, and
- 43:17Speaker 1: but call back and be a friend of the show,
- 43:19Speaker 1: because what we want to do here is elevate your
- 43:22Speaker 1: thought process to know that you can win by getting
- 43:26Speaker 1: information off on show money making conversation, and you can
- 43:28Speaker 1: win by listening to w c ok and said, al right, Chantel,
- 43:32Speaker 1: most definitely, I guess I want to say to be
- 43:35Speaker 1: able to put back into my four O one. My
- 43:37Speaker 1: dad had to break it down. I was cool list
- 43:39Speaker 1: and didn't know that, um, investing into your four one
- 43:42Speaker 1: is not only coming out of a paycheck. I thought.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I didn't know that it could just come out of
- 43:46Speaker 1: your pocket and be put back into investing in retiring.
- 43:50Speaker 1: I was new to that, Like, oh really, I didn't.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I wasn't just made away. You know, you'ren learn these
- 43:53Speaker 1: things in high school. And all my passion is to
- 43:56Speaker 1: have the business and to have different entities under it
- 43:59Speaker 1: that wus be my my my and to help out others,
- 44:02Speaker 1: you know where I can maybe we can split and
- 44:05Speaker 1: go onto the next ATM or the next thing that
- 44:07Speaker 1: I want to give back as well, or you know,
- 44:10Speaker 1: kind of put somebody onto you know, the business as well,
- 44:14Speaker 1: so they're they're able to Yeah. And the and the
- 44:17Speaker 1: one the one thing I would say, Gentel, is really
- 44:19Speaker 1: about the research. You know, because um, you know, whatever
- 44:23Speaker 1: you focus on, there's somebody right now who's making millions
- 44:28Speaker 1: of dollars by selling plastic pens, right, And so it's
- 44:31Speaker 1: really what you focus on. And so understanding what it's
- 44:34Speaker 1: gonna take to to to invest in the A T
- 44:36Speaker 1: M business, Uh, you know what time you have to
- 44:38Speaker 1: dedicate to it, um, And also you know what the
- 44:41Speaker 1: returns are and if you're willing to do what it
- 44:44Speaker 1: takes or are you gonna have to hire someone? So really,
- 44:47Speaker 1: as you saw I mentioned, it's really the plan and
- 44:49Speaker 1: making sure you have the plan first. And once you
- 44:51Speaker 1: have the plan, and and once the plan is sound
- 44:54Speaker 1: and it's viable, I would say execute and and you
- 44:57Speaker 1: execute with with the whole idea that you cannot lose.
- 45:02Speaker 1: But if you lose, don't let it traumatize you. Because
- 45:05Speaker 1: I have lost. I have lost, and I tell people
- 45:08Speaker 1: all the time that's why always trying to share my
- 45:09Speaker 1: flaws when I talk to people, because if you look
- 45:12Speaker 1: at a person who always says that he's successful all
- 45:14Speaker 1: the time, he's lying. And if you look at the
- 45:16Speaker 1: person who don't want to share their flaws, stop talking
- 45:18Speaker 1: to him. And I wanna thank you Shante for calling
- 45:20Speaker 1: the show money Making Conversations. If you want to hear

- 47:30Speaker 1: to money Making Conversations Live with Rushan McDonald. If you
- 47:34Speaker 1: have questions or comments, called four zero four zero. I
- 47:40Speaker 1: got people talking saying to my number for me seeing
- 47:43Speaker 1: my name. Money Making Conversations Dr Georgie Frasie blew it up.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Information is available on money Making Conversation dot com about him.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation dot Com information is available by him
- 47:56Speaker 1: if you if you go to the contact area and
- 47:58Speaker 1: feel that out, will definitely send the information over to him.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Like he said, he said seven decades, he said eight
- 48:05Speaker 1: he said seven decades. Well, you know we're not ate decades. Yeah,
- 48:13Speaker 1: we want to get there, but my ash cast you know,
- 48:15Speaker 1: like I was saying earlier, you know you're one of
- 48:17Speaker 1: the nations top financial educators, personal finance expert, business coach,
- 48:21Speaker 1: and motivational speakers. And that whole motivational speaking part is
- 48:26Speaker 1: what I want to get into right now because so
- 48:28Speaker 1: many people want to hear the word like in church
- 48:31Speaker 1: now they want to hear the Bible. So many people
- 48:34Speaker 1: want to hear how to be successful, but don't want
- 48:36Speaker 1: to put the work in or follow the rules of
- 48:38Speaker 1: the Bible. It's the same thing in the financial world
- 48:40Speaker 1: that you in. You people come up with you, take
- 48:42Speaker 1: photos with you. Man, how can I give you the
- 48:46Speaker 1: business card? What frustrates you most when people don't do
- 48:50Speaker 1: what you're advising to do because you can't tell him
- 48:52Speaker 1: what you can get to advise. Yeah, yeah, I think
- 48:54Speaker 1: I think the most frustrating part is, uh, just people complaining, um,
- 48:59Speaker 1: you know, because because here's a deal, because we all
- 49:02Speaker 1: have a choice, right. Uh. Being broke is difficult. Being successful,
- 49:10Speaker 1: it's difficult. You just gotta choose the difficult that you want.
- 49:13Speaker 1: And so if you choose the difficult, that says saying,
- 49:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna be broke, I'm not gonna know how to
- 49:18Speaker 1: you know, take care of my family. I'm gonna I'm
- 49:20Speaker 1: gonna worry about how to make ends meet and things
- 49:22Speaker 1: of that nature. And there's somebody who's taking time to
- 49:25Speaker 1: show you, you know, how to you know, how to
- 49:27Speaker 1: do that, how to get to the next level of life, um,
- 49:30Speaker 1: and just to you know, be somebody who is taking
- 49:33Speaker 1: up that knowledge and not implementing. I think that's the
- 49:35Speaker 1: most frustrating part because there's a lot of people out
- 49:38Speaker 1: there that want the information, who would love to have
- 49:43Speaker 1: somebody to give them the information. And so if you
- 49:46Speaker 1: are you know, you know, wasting time, you're you're in
- 49:49Speaker 1: the you're in the way of somebody else who is
- 49:51Speaker 1: willing to implement UM. So other than that, I think
- 49:54Speaker 1: that's the frustrating part. But the truth of the matter
- 49:55Speaker 1: too is um. I also know that it doesn't happen overnight, um.
- 50:00Speaker 1: And so I know that there are people, um who
- 50:03Speaker 1: you know, what we're saying is shaking up their mindset. Right,
- 50:07Speaker 1: Like Dr Fraser says, don't waste your time on savings. Right.
- 50:11Speaker 1: He didn't say that verbatim, but he's saying, listen, you
- 50:14Speaker 1: are wasting your time on you know, if you're saving
- 50:17Speaker 1: your right half a percent, right, So it's not even
- 50:20Speaker 1: one percent, it's half of a percent, right. And so
- 50:23Speaker 1: as a former fifty year banking executive, I approved that message.
- 50:28Speaker 1: But you gotta think, right, You gotta think in our
- 50:30Speaker 1: neighborhood that like, like that's what they told us, They said,
- 50:33Speaker 1: go to go to work, work hard, save your money.
- 50:36Speaker 1: But if you save your money, you're losing money. And
- 50:38Speaker 1: I think that, you know, it's a whole big paradigm
- 50:41Speaker 1: shift that's happening. And so I get it. We're shaking
- 50:44Speaker 1: up people's world. That's all they knew. They grandmothers and
- 50:47Speaker 1: and and parents are telling them safe safe, safe, safe,
- 50:50Speaker 1: saved and not a paradigm is invest invest, invest, And
- 50:53Speaker 1: so people might not get it on the first time.
- 50:56Speaker 1: And so for me, I'm happy that the conversations are happening,
- 51:00Speaker 1: the money making conversations are happening. Uh and and I
- 51:03Speaker 1: know eventually we gott we just gotta make it. We
- 51:05Speaker 1: gotta keep having a conversation until it becomes cool. Was
- 51:08Speaker 1: talking about the four one K. You know, your your
- 51:11Speaker 1: employer pay something, she pays something. Check it out. You
- 51:13Speaker 1: check fifty dollars a month. It adds up in a
- 51:15Speaker 1: big way. I got Eric from from sham Blie. He
- 51:19Speaker 1: has a banking with a basic investment conversation. Question. Eric
- 51:22Speaker 1: from Shamblie. You on a call with Sean McDonald and
- 51:26Speaker 1: uh financial guru and and motivator Mr ash Cash. What's
- 51:30Speaker 1: your question? Okay? Um, well, I mean I'm an artist
- 51:36Speaker 1: and uh, I also want to try to work on
- 51:39Speaker 1: licensing my heart and promoting it. But that's my passion
- 51:43Speaker 1: to make money. But I know all the things that
- 51:48Speaker 1: you're talking about, I don't know anything about I can't
- 51:52Speaker 1: I don't know the plastics of it, you know to say, Okay,
- 51:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm an add border and sugar and I just
- 51:58Speaker 1: started making the money care Yeah yeah, yeah, so Eric,
- 52:03Speaker 1: thank you, thank you for that. Yeah yeah, not for sure,
- 52:05Speaker 1: and and thank you for that vulnerability. Right. What I
- 52:07Speaker 1: would say is this, I would say, make sure that
- 52:11Speaker 1: you have a financial plan. And what does that mean. Um,
- 52:14Speaker 1: you know, when you get paid and whatever you do,
- 52:16Speaker 1: whether you still have a nine or five, whether it's
- 52:19Speaker 1: your art, whenever you get paid, what I want you
- 52:21Speaker 1: to do is put a certain amount aside, right, And
- 52:25Speaker 1: so whether it's ten percent, find out an amount that
- 52:30Speaker 1: you're comfortable with. Put that aside. And the first thing
- 52:33Speaker 1: you're gonna do is you're gonna you're gonna start building
- 52:35Speaker 1: what I like to call your financial freedom fund. And
- 52:38Speaker 1: what that means is start to build up an account
- 52:41Speaker 1: that six or eight months of expenses, right. And so
- 52:44Speaker 1: so we're not saying save his accounts are bad. We're
- 52:47Speaker 1: saying that actually good because they can save you, you know,
- 52:50Speaker 1: in case of an emergency. So start building a financial
- 52:53Speaker 1: freedom fund. But then also what you need to start
- 52:56Speaker 1: doing is is after or while you're building that financial
- 52:59Speaker 1: freedom fund. The truth of the matter is that no
- 53:02Speaker 1: one's gonna become financially free if they don't invest, if
- 53:05Speaker 1: they don't change their relationship with money. Because right now,
- 53:08Speaker 1: our relationship is that we're gonna work hard for money.
- 53:11Speaker 1: But the true relationship should be money should work hard
- 53:14Speaker 1: for you. And and the only way that happens is
- 53:16Speaker 1: if you invest right. And so as you're building your
- 53:19Speaker 1: financial freedom fund, start to put money aside that you're
- 53:22Speaker 1: gonna start investing, and and and and the good thing
- 53:25Speaker 1: about doing it every time you get paid is that
- 53:28Speaker 1: you're not just taking a lump sum. You're doing what's
- 53:30Speaker 1: called dollar course averaging. So whether you're investing in crypto,
- 53:34Speaker 1: if you're investing in the stock market, whatever you're investing in,
- 53:37Speaker 1: you're actually doing it on a periodic basis. And as
- 53:39Speaker 1: you do it on that periodic basic uh, it's actually
- 53:42Speaker 1: gonna grow for you. But the number one thing before
- 53:45Speaker 1: you invest a dollar is to understand, you know, to
- 53:49Speaker 1: to to to have the information, the knowledge on how
- 53:53Speaker 1: to invest. And so there are tons of podcasts out there. Um,
- 53:57Speaker 1: there's a lot of you know, financial ols out there.
- 54:01Speaker 1: There are free resources on YouTube that can actually teach
- 54:04Speaker 1: you the basics of how to get into it. I
- 54:07Speaker 1: would start there, um, and then and and and then
- 54:10Speaker 1: you start to build, you know, build from their absolutely.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I was just want to say this on my end
- 54:15Speaker 1: right now, I've got I've got a little bit of
- 54:18Speaker 1: money right sitting in the drawer doing nothing. I hope
- 54:22Speaker 1: it's not really sitting in the drawer. It's not really
- 54:23Speaker 1: in the draw is it. It's not really draw Okay? Cool?
- 54:26Speaker 1: We really need to talk offline and don't let nobody
- 54:30Speaker 1: attrack this phone either because I'm I don't need to
- 54:33Speaker 1: be on Channel five tonight because somebody did a sixty
- 54:36Speaker 1: night on my number. He said, it's doing you know
- 54:39Speaker 1: what I'm saying, This money is just it's doing nothing.
- 54:42Speaker 1: It's I mean, it's only like but it's doing nothing, right,
- 54:46Speaker 1: But that's money though there could be some did you
- 54:48Speaker 1: not hear? What? What? Just take three hundred dollars to
- 54:51Speaker 1: go to cryptocurrency? Actually want to give this advice to
- 54:53Speaker 1: you and everybody because we want to go to some
- 54:55Speaker 1: more callers and thank everybody for calling in on the show,
- 54:58Speaker 1: and especially thank you because you're being honest about yourself
- 55:01Speaker 1: and the only way you can move ahead is being
- 55:03Speaker 1: honest about your situation. What for what always drives me
- 55:06Speaker 1: is about people who go to church they tied, which
- 55:10Speaker 1: God teaches you how to save. He gives you the
- 55:13Speaker 1: discipline to say, but you don't you do it for
- 55:15Speaker 1: the church, but don't do it for yourself. Should you
- 55:17Speaker 1: take that same discipline. So so when I tell people
- 55:19Speaker 1: who in the church put a lot of money inside,
- 55:21Speaker 1: they look at me like, I ain't got no money,
- 55:23Speaker 1: but you got money for church though, So I'm telling you,
- 55:26Speaker 1: take that same principle, that same discipline that you have
- 55:28Speaker 1: for church and apply to yourself, and you'll win twice
- 55:32Speaker 1: the God blessing and the personal blessing. That's all I'm saying.
- 55:36Speaker 1: And so if you take advantage of that knowledge that
- 55:38Speaker 1: we're trying to give you, and what you wanna win
- 55:40Speaker 1: with is that I value your call. I value your knowledge,
- 55:44Speaker 1: but the discipline is what most people make a mistake on.
- 55:47Speaker 1: And I just wanted to do a shout out to
- 55:48Speaker 1: the people who go to church to the people who
- 55:50Speaker 1: do tie. Those are the same people. And you know,
- 55:52Speaker 1: Ash will tell you, I don't know how I'm gonna
- 55:55Speaker 1: do that. I don't know how I'm gonna pull together
- 55:57Speaker 1: twenty dollars a week when you give it twenty all
- 56:00Speaker 1: to the church every week, and that's party dolls. I'm saying,
- 56:02Speaker 1: it's fifty dollars a month. So you can get to
- 56:04Speaker 1: that fifty dollars and so all all I've ever said
- 56:08Speaker 1: and all asked cash is always saying it's common sense.
- 56:11Speaker 1: That's why I loved this brother. He talks from a
- 56:13Speaker 1: Commersen's perspective. Now we have Donald and Conyers. He's a
- 56:16Speaker 1: disabled veteran. How are you doing? And thank you for
- 56:18Speaker 1: serving our country? How are you doing? Donald? I'm good,
- 56:22Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm really good. You know, a call with
- 56:25Speaker 1: as cash and of course I'm Rashan mcconnal. What's your
- 56:27Speaker 1: what's your question? Yes, I was asking, as a veteran
- 56:31Speaker 1: on a FAED income, how would I get into the game.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I'm unemployable, not able to work. I just did uh
- 56:40Speaker 1: based income every month, So how would I be able
- 56:43Speaker 1: to get into that and not injured myself nationally to
- 56:47Speaker 1: take care of my other financial obligation. Yeah, now that's
- 56:50Speaker 1: a great question. Uh, and thank you for your service.
- 56:52Speaker 1: So what what I what I would say, um is
- 56:55Speaker 1: it's similar to what I was telling Mr Eric was
- 56:57Speaker 1: really you know, really about you know taking money from
- 57:00Speaker 1: the side, right, Uh. And what happens is though when
- 57:03Speaker 1: you are on a fixed income, there's only two two ways,
- 57:06Speaker 1: right that you could or three ways to increase your
- 57:08Speaker 1: bottom line, you either decrease expenses, increase your income, or
- 57:14Speaker 1: do both things. Right, And so if you're on a
- 57:16Speaker 1: fixed income, what I would say is the first thing
- 57:19Speaker 1: is to look at your expenses and see, you know,
- 57:21Speaker 1: what ways that you could cut back some right? What
- 57:24Speaker 1: ways can you? Uh? I said? I said, what what
- 57:28Speaker 1: ways that you could cut back on expenses? Because as
- 57:32Speaker 1: you're as you're cutting back on expenses, you now make
- 57:36Speaker 1: you know, make way for some income and then you
- 57:39Speaker 1: use that income because what happens is this once you
- 57:41Speaker 1: cut back, and even if you're cutting back on expenses,
- 57:44Speaker 1: it doesn't have to be permanently. It could be temporarily.
- 57:46Speaker 1: So that way you can gain you know, some money
- 57:49Speaker 1: to invest. And while you're investing and making your money
- 57:52Speaker 1: work for you, and that money starts to grow. Now
- 57:55Speaker 1: you're building money that you have access to that you
- 57:58Speaker 1: could either put back into the investment and let it
- 58:01Speaker 1: keep growing or if you wanted to supplement that that
- 58:04Speaker 1: expense you can. But so so I would say start
- 58:07Speaker 1: with decreasing your expense. See what you know, what what
- 58:10Speaker 1: things you're spending money on that could potentially be decreased
- 58:14Speaker 1: um and then you know start to to to look
- 58:16Speaker 1: into investing money. And I'm gonna add this to you,
- 58:18Speaker 1: a lot of people don't realize that sometimes you do.
- 58:20Speaker 1: You don't try to invest by yourself. Get a group
- 58:23Speaker 1: of people together and start educating yourself. Four or five people.
- 58:26Speaker 1: You got fifty dollars. That means five y'all have two
- 58:27Speaker 1: hundred fifty dollars that can be invested invested as a group.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Now you're not you're investing two hundred fifty dollars. So
- 58:33Speaker 1: you're not investing your two hundred fifty dollars. Plus you
- 58:36Speaker 1: have other people doing research for you also invest in
- 58:39Speaker 1: their time because their fifty dollars means something to you.
- 58:42Speaker 1: So I would say take the advice and Ash gave you.
- 58:44Speaker 1: But also if you have some people start, don't get
- 58:47Speaker 1: in the game quick. There's no rush. What bothers me
- 58:50Speaker 1: about people to get a certain age. They feel like, yeah,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta hurry up and get there. No,
- 58:54Speaker 1: I would give you sixty seventy eight. Take your time.
- 58:58Speaker 1: If you rush life right, life will in for you
- 59:00Speaker 1: because you're in a hurry. I am not in a
- 59:03Speaker 1: hurry to do nothing. I drive slow, I eat faster,
- 59:06Speaker 1: eat faster because I come from a big family, six sister,
- 59:09Speaker 1: two brothers. When you come from a big family, you
- 59:11Speaker 1: learned to eat fast. Brother. But I'll tell you that
- 59:14Speaker 1: you're you're a blessing in this conversation because you're the
- 59:17Speaker 1: typical person who comes in who says I don't have enough,
- 59:21Speaker 1: Well you do. If you have friends, if you have
- 59:23Speaker 1: relatives who are willing to sign a contract, don't ever
- 59:27Speaker 1: just getting give somebody your money. Everybody either I fired
- 59:30Speaker 1: my brother, find my sister. I find a lot of
- 59:32Speaker 1: relatives because I went down that route thought they loved me,
- 59:35Speaker 1: and then they didn't want to show up for work.
- 59:36Speaker 1: So I know what you have to do to get
- 59:38Speaker 1: people committed. But all I want to do is thank
- 59:40Speaker 1: you for calling on the show. We'll be back next week.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Of course I would be back. Ashcast is gonna come
- 59:44Speaker 1: back in a couple of weeks. He has a new
- 59:45Speaker 1: book coming out. But again, this is money making conversation live.
