Transcript
- 0:00Hey, guys, welcome back to the Lila Rose Podcast.
- 0:04First episode since the historic election just a couple days ago.
- 0:08Congratulations to president-elect Donald Trump.
- 0:12Oh, my goodness. Lots of reactions, lots of
- 0:14celebrations happening right now.
- 0:15Lots of people expressing their worries and their concerns.
- 0:18There is so much to unpack and I'm very excited for this
- 0:21special episode, the special live because we've got our good
- 0:23friend Ruslan in the studio today.
- 0:26Hello. Thanks for joining, Ruslan.
- 0:28You guys know him from his channel.
- 0:30And we're going to be talking about, yeah, unpacking what just
- 0:33happened, a lot of the reaction stuff, what this means for the
- 0:37country. You voted for Trump for the
- 0:40first time this time, right? First time Trump voter.
- 0:43First time Republican voter. Wow, I've never voted.
- 0:47I didn't know that. Wow, that's huge.
- 0:51OK. What was it for you?
- 0:53I went down the rabbit hole of his long form conversations and
- 1:00I listened to him explain some of the controversies that he's
- 1:06had in the past, specifically aspects of racism, immigration,
- 1:13all of those things, and those were a lot of what was pushed
- 1:16in. 20/16/2020. He's the second coming of the
- 1:19mustache man. He hates these people.
- 1:21He hates those people. And I ended up watching him with
- 1:25Patrick, the David who's a friend of mine.
- 1:27And they talked about how he helped pass the biggest criminal
- 1:32justice reform ever, so much so to the point where Van Jones,
- 1:36who's a huge Trump critic in the middle of him tearing up on CNN,
- 1:42thanks him for passing criminal justice reform, which I was
- 1:45like, huh, interesting. I miss that.
- 1:48And then I, I kind of kept going down these different things and
- 1:52finding out like I didn't know. I don't, I remember that knew
- 1:55about opportunity zone. I knew about all these other
- 1:57aspects that that he did. Obviously, the electing the
- 2:00Supreme Court judges that overturned Roby Wade, which I
- 2:02think was good, but I think really hearing him humanize
- 2:05himself. And then I had a a very simple
- 2:07conversation with my son the day of the election.
- 2:11Were you were you undecided up until the day of the?
- 2:13Election, I was definitely not going to vote Harris.
- 2:15I was very vocal, like I am a Never Harris.
- 2:18Guy and on and largely abortion right was a big thing.
- 2:20Yeah, yeah. And she was the most zealous pro
- 2:23bort candidate. And it was, it was bad.
- 2:24And Tim Walz's views and dark stuff, very dark stuff.
- 2:28And I was like, OK, the alternative is absolutely a no
- 2:34go for me. Last time around, I voted third
- 2:36party the last two elections and I was like, we need another
- 2:38option. And then I was sitting here.
- 2:40And so I landed on Election Day. I came back from San Antonio,
- 2:43did a great event with pastor at Newton in San Antonio, did
- 2:47amazing event. And my family picked me up and
- 2:49we're driving. We stopped by Panera and my son
- 2:52goes, you know, they've been talking about, he's 9, They've
- 2:54been talking about the election in school.
- 2:56And I'm like, what are you guys doing talking about the
- 2:58election? And he goes, yeah, they're
- 3:01talking about it. And then me and my wife were
- 3:03talking and I'm like, and I explained it to him.
- 3:05And this is kind of when I had the epiphany, I said, yes,
- 3:09Donald Trump has said some nasty things.
- 3:11Yes, he has tweeted some things that aren't helpful and, and,
- 3:15and he's sometimes combative, but generally people feel like
- 3:20the economy and their day-to-day life was better during his time
- 3:27versus the Harris who says some good things and says she wants
- 3:32to bring a country together. But under the administration
- 3:34she's a part of, generally people feel like things are
- 3:37worse with things like housing, inflation and the real economic
- 3:41realities. And I didn't, I was going to
- 3:43unpack the abortion pill and I like all that.
- 3:45I was going to go into all of that with him, but then I said
- 3:49it. And so I was like, man, one
- 3:50person sometimes gets in their own way, sometimes say some
- 3:54silly things. I definitely disagree with him
- 3:56on a few policy issues in the way he's spoken about things,
- 4:00but generally speaking what he says and what he does are
- 4:03different and I think people who are supporters of his understand
- 4:07that. His second language, hyperbole.
- 4:09He's not on the nose with everything he's saying in the
- 4:12literal sense. At least that's what his last
- 4:15election was, right? He didn't persecute Hillary
- 4:18Clinton. He didn't write, did he?
- 4:20He wasn't the mustache man. He didn't do all these crazy
- 4:22things people were claiming he was going to do.
- 4:24That was that was honestly the biggest thing separate from
- 4:26obviously life and Kamala being so bad on life and wanting to
- 4:29keep Kamala out. So vote for Trump to keep Kamala
- 4:31out, which six? You know, it succeeded thanks be
- 4:34to God. But the other thing was all of
- 4:36the people that were threatening like he's going to be Hitler.
- 4:39I mean, there's so much intense fear and threats coming from
- 4:43mostly the left about what he would do if he was elected.
- 4:45And then also some Republicans like the Liz Cheney Republicans
- 4:48saying this guy is, you know, he's not in his right mind.
- 4:50He's going to create nuclear war, all of this stuff.
- 4:53And I didn't find that compelling because he looked up
- 4:55the four years that he was president, like you're saying.
- 4:58And it's like, there was no mustache, man.
- 4:59Like you just said how to use that term.
- 5:01There was no new, there were no new wars.
- 5:04And I, I mean, you can't help that.
- 5:06Like that's what happened. And when I would talk to some of
- 5:09these critics of his about not abortion, but about other
- 5:12things, and I'd ask about those four years, like they couldn't
- 5:16answer why everything was OK during those four years and
- 5:19there wasn't some catastrophe because, you know, they say
- 5:22Trump's in not in his right mind.
- 5:23So that was also, you know, gave me also peace when I was when I
- 5:27chose to vote for Trump because he was less pro abortion than
- 5:31Kamala and was more for religious conscience and and not
- 5:35just religious, but just conscience protections in
- 5:37general for people of conscience.
- 5:40I think that that was also huge. Yeah, and I just have to ask
- 5:42myself the question like the third party is isn't haven't
- 5:46made any noise. They're not really an option.
- 5:48I don't agree with them all the way either.
- 5:52And being in California, I was like, I want to set a precedent
- 5:55in California that like you're, you got, you're on, you're on
- 5:58borrowed time if you're in California, like you're on.
- 6:01And the California went in many ways more conservative this last
- 6:04election. I just saw a pastor friend of
- 6:06mine named Shane. He posted a map of like the 2020
- 6:08versus 2024. And it was way more red
- 6:10districts and stuff that happened that I was like, oh,
- 6:13like this. I wanted to send that message as
- 6:15well. And so I think a lot of what,
- 6:17you know, do I do I want someone that says the right things and
- 6:20says they're for unity and says they're for America and says
- 6:22they're for everybody, but their policies and their behaviors are
- 6:27in contrast with that. Or do I want somebody that is
- 6:30not a perfect person has done some really goofy things in
- 6:35terms of the stuff that's came out of his mouth.
- 6:37I wasn't a fan of January 6th. I'm not.
- 6:39I'm not sure about these tariffs he's presenting.
- 6:41Do you think he's actually going to do the tariffs?
- 6:43I don't I don't think so. I I really don't think so.
- 6:45I hope not. Yeah, I hope not either.
- 6:47And but All in all his election is good.
- 6:50And so I was talking to I had a friend of mine, Lisa Revere on
- 6:53who are you? She's amazing.
- 6:55She is amazing gala that I missed unfortunately that you
- 6:58guys live action put on and she said something and she was
- 7:01talking about her husband and he said both candidates are
- 7:04transgressors of God's law. One party is right now is are
- 7:10opposers of God's law. And I was like, that makes a lot
- 7:14of sense. So both both of these folks are
- 7:16are simple. They're they're transgression.
- 7:18There's aspects of their policies I don't agree with.
- 7:23More aggressively, certainly more like aggressively.
- 7:26I mean the Kamala Harris prosecute like you look at her
- 7:29whole history and we talked about this in the show so many
- 7:31times. So people were like we know
- 7:32Lila, we know Kamala Harris's background, but she was, you
- 7:35know, trying to throw David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt in
- 7:37jail, the pro-life investigators of planned parent in California.
- 7:40And then she tried to get the pro-life pregnancy centers to
- 7:43put up abortion ads. I mean she was in not just pro
- 7:46abortion, but anti anyone who spoke against abortion.
- 7:50So if you're pro-life, she's also anti you just as being
- 7:53pro-life. So not a lot of space for
- 7:56pro-life the. Freedoms towards, you know,
- 7:58people of faith, like specifically just being able to
- 8:01stand on the scriptures and the policies that could potentially
- 8:06impact us. Not that they were anything
- 8:07directly over, but like a lot of like we need to clean up the
- 8:10social media companies. We need to do the end.
- 8:12I'm like, oh this, this just sounds.
- 8:13Very sounds dark. Sounds very authoritarian, oddly
- 8:16enough, the stuff that they were they were talking about, yeah.
- 8:18And so I just kind of, I had to say, OK, well, we're not,
- 8:21there's no real third party option right now that I really
- 8:25even agree with. And there's no momentum there.
- 8:27And I'm in a blue state. I want to send a message to my
- 8:30state. And you know what, I could hold
- 8:33my nose and, and and say, I think right now he's the best V
- 8:37guy. And that's still feel parts of
- 8:40me are still like, I don't know, I don't feel good saying that.
- 8:42But I think when I consider all the things and I consider just
- 8:45how much he's humanized himself, I think he made ran a better
- 8:47campaign and I OK, I can live with this decision and let's
- 8:51see. And if he does just the border
- 8:54alone, if he does the border alone, which I think the catch
- 8:58and release in America versus catch and release in Mexico was
- 9:02a terrible policy, they just completely fumble.
- 9:04And I think if he. Meaning stopping that policy,
- 9:07reversing that executive order, Yeah.
- 9:09That's bad. Like that's, that was dumb.
- 9:10That was the worst thing that could have done.
- 9:12And I'm I'm someone that's an asylum seeker.
- 9:14I'm someone that's a refugee that came over here legally and
- 9:18have seen people come over illegally as well.
- 9:20And I think there's a tension we can hold where we can extend
- 9:23compassion to the people here that are trying to come, come
- 9:25over because their life is a danger and all that.
- 9:27I think that's that's a reality for some people.
- 9:29While at the same time saying we need order, we need order, we
- 9:31need laws, we need structures and we can't continue on in the
- 9:35way we've been continuing on. This is unsustainable,
- 9:37unsustainable. And that that that that's kind
- 9:40of where where I landed. I was like, this is this is not
- 9:42good. And I think the other thing, if
- 9:43he does, I think we'll instantly ease some of the tensions is
- 9:47opening up to fracking and opening up to oil production
- 9:51here. I think a lot of the climate
- 9:52alarmism, and I'm a, I'm AEV guy.
- 9:54I got, I, we, we own 2 Teslas. We got the Tesla batteries at
- 9:57the house. We got the solar panels.
- 9:59I don't go to the gas station. But I think a lot of this
- 10:02climate alarmism is dangerous. And I think that we need to be
- 10:07as self sustainable as we can as a country.
- 10:09And that I think instantly moves the needle to gas prices going
- 10:13down, which everything goes down because now you're not paying as
- 10:15much to transport stuff. And I think people would
- 10:18instantly feel a relief there if he pushes and, and kind of works
- 10:21on deregulating some of the oil production and being afraid to
- 10:24go to our reserves and all the goofy stuff that we've seen from
- 10:26the left. So yeah, I just, I just kind of
- 10:27like had to look at all those things and go, you know, I'm,
- 10:30I'm not sure about RFK on all this stuff.
- 10:32I'm not sure about Elon's intentions and all this stuff.
- 10:34I don't know, but man, goodness gracious, did Elon risk a lot,
- 10:38you know, as a, as someone that probably would have been highly
- 10:41persecuted after this election. And I had to come to that
- 10:45conclusion. I and I, and I'll be honest with
- 10:46you, Lila, I came, I had that conversation with my son and I
- 10:48said, who would I want to run the country?
- 10:49Someone that says the right things but did a job bad job or
- 10:52someone that says the wrong things but did a good job.
- 10:54It it really that simple? And then in that booth, I'm
- 10:57sitting there and I'm looking and I voted for everything else
- 10:59except president. I was sitting there.
- 11:00I voted for every single deal and I and then I come back to
- 11:04the to the to the top ballot issue and I'm like third party
- 11:08leave it blank, president. I'm gonna I'm gonna you did it
- 11:13check off Donald Trump and and your video kind of influenced me
- 11:16as well because I know you when you talked about withholding
- 11:18your vote on breaking points. Yeah.
- 11:20And I was like, I'm, I'm with Lila, like I.
- 11:21Think I was, I was, you know, this is the back story.
- 11:23I haven't really shared this on the podcast yet, but I was, you
- 11:27know, in the weeks leading up to Election Day working, you know,
- 11:31as best I knew how behind the scenes and, you know, on
- 11:35publicly to some degree, but certainly behind the scenes to
- 11:36say, can we get more concessions from the campaign on life?
- 11:40Because, you know, the whole whole idea of a campaign is get
- 11:43people to vote for you, you know, and like win the vote, win
- 11:46the vote, get people out to vote for you.
- 11:47And if pro lifers are like, yeah, whatever, we don't care
- 11:51about this, this, this, this, this will vote for you no matter
- 11:53what. Like where, where are we at?
- 11:54Right as the pro-life movement, we are nowhere.
- 11:56That's where we're at. And so, you know, I'm, I am, I
- 11:59am pleased that Trump did reverse course on Amendment 4 in
- 12:02Florida. And we won amendment.
- 12:04We defeated Amendment 4 in Florida.
- 12:06And by the way, for the record, I don't know if all the hard
- 12:09work that Ron DeSantis, Governor DeSantis put in into defeating
- 12:13Amendment 4, which would have legalized abortion up until
- 12:15until birth in Florida into their state constitution.
- 12:17If if President Trump had come out against Amendment 4 or
- 12:22sorry, come out for Amendment 4 or stayed silent and not said
- 12:25that he opposed it. I do think that would have
- 12:28influenced a lot of people in Florida like strong hardcore
- 12:32Trump supporters who might themselves have either not voted
- 12:35on it or voted yes. And we won only by I think it
- 12:39was a few 100,000 votes. It was not like, you know,
- 12:42millions of votes actually might have been tens, 10s of thousands
- 12:44of votes. It was like 3 percentage points.
- 12:47So I do think anyways, the, the, you can be loyal opposition and
- 12:52I think that's what you've been in a, in a good way, meaning
- 12:54when we're voting for a candidate, we're voting for, we
- 12:57hope better policies, but it's important to call out what those
- 13:01good policies are. And I think, you know, I agree
- 13:04with what you're saying. Did you know that every year
- 13:07200,000 families go bankrupt from medical bills, even with
- 13:11health insurance? For many people, insurance is
- 13:14simply not working for them. That's why I'm excited to share
- 13:17with you about Crowd Health, which is an alternative model
- 13:20for paying for your healthcare. Crowd Health takes your bills
- 13:22personally, negotiates them on your behalf, and then sends out
- 13:26a request to the community to help cover your bills.
- 13:29The Crowd Health community has fully funded more than 5000
- 13:32medical bills over the last two years.
- 13:34This includes accidents like a young woman in Tennessee who
- 13:36lost her fingers in a boating accident to NICU babies and
- 13:40cancer cases. Keep in mind, Crowd Health is
- 13:42not the same thing as insurance, but it is an alternative model
- 13:45to help pay medical bills and keep your monthly costs low.
- 13:48So go to join Crowd Health today.
- 13:50Use the code Lila at checkout to get your first three months for

- 13:57use the code Lila at checkout out to get your first three
- 14:00months for only $99. Join Crowd health.com.
- 14:04I, I think some people and I and I say, and I say this to my
- 14:07friends on the right, when you are incapable of critiquing your
- 14:11own side, when you're incapable of saying anything you disagree
- 14:15with, I don't think that serves your side well and I don't think
- 14:20that serves the independent voter well.
- 14:22Exactly. Totally agree.
- 14:23And they're like, yeah, no, he could have done better on
- 14:27January 6th. It's like, no, shut up.
- 14:28Do you get in love? It's like, no, I think saying
- 14:31things that I, I disagreed with how he handled January 6th.
- 14:34I'm not saying it was a coup. By the way, it was your biggest
- 14:36thing because, I mean, besides contesting the election maybe
- 14:39too much in some people's view, was it also that he waited, what
- 14:42was it, 45 minutes for the first tweeter?
- 14:44He waited, too. Long he waited, too.
- 14:46Long he needed to come out early and be like hey let's defuse
- 14:48this. I think him flipping on Pence
- 14:51was not a good idea and the way he treated Pence after the fact
- 14:54was not cool I think. I think Pence is a good person.
- 14:58I know like some people are like Pence has been, especially on
- 15:02life, he's been very strong. Yeah, And I think the fact that
- 15:06all the judges that he elected in all those states were like,
- 15:10Nah, bro, you don't have a case yet.
- 15:11Now there's a different case to be made about the laptop
- 15:14suppression story and about ballot harvesting in the middle
- 15:17of a pandemic. That's a different conversation
- 15:18we could have on the legalities of that and technicalities that.
- 15:21But to claim that there's mass fraud and all the judges you
- 15:25elected said if. You just didn't have the
- 15:27evidence. The governor's court get
- 15:29elected, said. And then you're still not
- 15:32willing to concede. It's just not a good.
- 15:33And so again, it's a, you know, credit to, to Harris for
- 15:37conceding. I think she she should have
- 15:39conceded the the night of. But she took a She took a nap, A
- 15:43long nap. Yeah, she conceded.
- 15:44She said there's going to be a peaceful.
- 15:45Transfer of power, which again to his credit there was a
- 15:47peaceful transfer of power in 2020, but him not concede, I
- 15:50just think some of that stuff was in poor taste and I think he
- 15:51could have did a better job with that.
- 15:54And so we'll see. And I liked his acceptance
- 15:56speech. I thought it was actually better
- 15:57than the 2016 acceptance speech. I think he drove home a lot of
- 16:00points of working with a coalition and working with
- 16:02people of all backgrounds, all ethnicities.
- 16:04And I believe he even in the acceptance speech, when people,
- 16:07correct me if I'm wrong here, even said we do want people to
- 16:09come over here. We just want them to come over
- 16:11here legally, right? And I was like, yeah, like,
- 16:14that's the message you do need to send folks that are from
- 16:16other parts of the world. We need to order.
- 16:18Like we need to order. We can't.
- 16:19We can't have what we've been having at the border.
- 16:21It's just not sustainable. And again, I'm not saying that
- 16:24there's this mass conspiracy about the left to flood swing
- 16:27States and, you know, and then to assume that the immigrants
- 16:29that are going to come over and get citizenship are all going to
- 16:31go and just bow lead. Wasn't it Hispanic men came out
- 16:34in record numbers for Trump? I want to.
- 16:36Say so even that. 40 of Hispanic men, Yeah, I want to say he won
- 16:40one out of four black men. I wish that. 20% he got I think
- 16:43the the number one of their size 25, was it 25%?
- 16:47Wow, I was shocked how many black men, black creative types,
- 16:53people working in media, people working in movies, in in TV
- 16:58shows were texting me the morning of celebrating.
- 17:01And and I was like, I would have never thought you were going to
- 17:04vote for it. And they were.
- 17:04And they were just quiet. They didn't say anything.
- 17:06I'm talking people in some of the most influential people in
- 17:10my world all texting me the morning of like man, I'm so
- 17:15relieved and I'm so glad he. Won I think one of the other
- 17:17huge takeaways from all this, I was I saw some like threat
- 17:21Twitter thing on this or X thing on this, but I was like, that's
- 17:23such a good point. Well, there was a general
- 17:26conversation about the death of legacy media.
- 17:28Like this is really like the nail in the coffin because you
- 17:31have so much, so much fear, so many threats that legacy media
- 17:35is reporting. And then the pollsters saying
- 17:38that Kamala would win or that it we wouldn't know for days or
- 17:41weeks or whatever. Iowa, you had these crazy
- 17:43predictions that completely didn't bear out.
- 17:46And so, but they wouldn't seem crazy because they were all
- 17:48buttoned up. Your your official news man
- 17:50giving the prediction or pollster.
- 17:52And then at the end of the day, they're all wrong.
- 17:54And you know, I do. I do think if it weren't for
- 17:58social media, if it weren't for independent podcast media, I
- 18:02don't know if Trump would have won.
- 18:03I don't know if Republicans could win period because of
- 18:07that. I think he.
- 18:08His legacy media is owned by the left.
- 18:10It really is. And him being willing to sit
- 18:12down and go 3 hours with the Rogan go 2 hours.
- 18:14And then dance to do it, yeah. Advance to do it I.
- 18:17And Elon did it too, and he's like campaigning.
- 18:19Hard Yeah, Even seeing Ben Shapiro.
- 18:21Yeah. One of the things I I
- 18:22appreciated about Ben Shapiro was that he would do podcasts
- 18:25and he would be very sober about areas he disagreed with Trump
- 18:28on. And I don't see that on the
- 18:29left. Like, I don't see this.
- 18:31Like, yeah, I could disagree with this, this and this and
- 18:33this, but I right, I don't. It's like groupthink, 100%
- 18:37groupthink. And so I saw people that were
- 18:39willing to, to, to basically hold my views on tariffs, hold
- 18:42my views on January 6th, hold my views on even DACA.
- 18:45And I'm like, oh, OK. Like I see more of myself.
- 18:49And I really feel like the Overton window is shifted so far
- 18:51left that the left has just left the country behind.
- 18:54And I was a guy that's always kind of been like centered,
- 18:56centered right here, center left here, center right here.
- 19:00And I just feel like I've been pushed in the right all the way,
- 19:03like and. I'm like, well, it's a it's a
- 19:04great point because I do think you're right.
- 19:05It is going left, the Overton window on the left, but on on
- 19:08the right, it's kind of wobbling.
- 19:10Like it's like, which way will we go?
- 19:11Like Western man is the big question I have in Western
- 19:14woman. Like, are we going to go
- 19:15towards, you know, natural law and natural right?
- 19:18You know, this dignity of the person?
- 19:19Are we going to just kind of waffle or kind of some of us go
- 19:22left and then some of us just sort of wander through the
- 19:24wilderness? But I do, I am really hopeful
- 19:26because I do think because of independent media, people like
- 19:28Ben Shapiro, people like yourself out there who are
- 19:32grounded in natural law thinking and right reason and good
- 19:34philosophical foundations, we are seeing on the right some
- 19:38real resurgence. And not just the right, but like
- 19:40this independent space, like the Joe Rogan independent space
- 19:43where there is this more, I guess appreciation for natural
- 19:47ideas, even if there's not always right 100% of the time.
- 19:50And again, that wouldn't be happening if it weren't for the
- 19:52Internet and for podcast and social media.
- 19:56What a time you'd be alive. Yeah, I'm hopeful.
- 19:58I think it'll be something that continues hopefully.
- 20:01I mean, listen personally, hopefully 2028, you and I on our
- 20:05respective platforms are sitting down with the next presidential.
- 20:08Sounds great, Bruce. Well, let's do it.
- 20:09That would be awesome, right? I mean.
- 20:11Who's that going to be in 2028? I mean, I think it's going to be
- 20:13Vance. I think I think the best shot
- 20:15the left has right now is Shapiro, who are massive fumble
- 20:20on Harris's part to. To have walls and not Shapiro.
- 20:23Yeah, and they're saying that was awesome, like, 'cause he's
- 20:25Jewish and whatever, but I mean. Really in?
- 20:27Pennsylvania and he's a popular. And it didn't deliver.
- 20:31It didn't deliver. On her part.
- 20:34And so, yeah, I think on the left it would be Shapiro.
- 20:36Well, it felt very insincere too, to like being blasting
- 20:38Trump and bands for being quote UN quote weird.
- 20:41And then you have walls, which, you know, kind of
- 20:44stereotypically pretty weird. And then he supports
- 20:47transitioning little kids. And, you know, maybe he's nice
- 20:50in real life. I don't know.
- 20:50I've never met the guy but his policies were very weird.
- 20:54Very weird. And then he said he got owned by
- 20:56advance and I wasn't sure about Vance, but I saw Vance.
- 20:58I'm like, man, I think like a Tosi.
- 21:00I would have to see a Tosi Gabbard as VP, Vivek VP,
- 21:04DeSantis VP. Maybe Vivek and DeSantis were
- 21:06like no, Tulsi Gabbard great, great option, right?
- 21:09Woman who served in the military, like has her own
- 21:12independent platform, is a free thinker.
- 21:14He picks Vance and I'm just like, I don't know about this
- 21:16guy, right? I don't know about this guy.
- 21:17And then I saw him in a debate. He's brilliant, he's really
- 21:20sharp this. Dude is sharp.
- 21:23He's even his appeal to the country on the issue of the
- 21:27unborn and just goes, listen, we haven't done a good job of like
- 21:32appealing to you guys on this issue.
- 21:33My party can do better. I was like, man, he really did a
- 21:37fantastic job and he held. That's funny because I was very
- 21:40critical when you have that. Well, he was saying that his
- 21:43friend got an abortion and now he understands why.
- 21:45I mean, it sounds that in the debate, basically, yeah.
- 21:48I mean, it sounded good, by the way, like his Polish.
- 21:50I I would never criticize his Polish and his, like, persuasive
- 21:53demeanor. He was talking about how his
- 21:55friend before the debate was before the vice president during
- 21:58the vice presidential debate. He was talking about how his
- 22:01friend like texted him or called him the day before and said, you
- 22:05know, it was he was sorry. He texted his friend who had had
- 22:08an abortion when she was younger, and he basically said
- 22:11I'm sorry. I understand why now.
- 22:13Interesting. And I was just like, you didn't
- 22:16to do that, you know, like it sounded good.
- 22:18But he I I just think there were on life, there was ground that
- 22:22they threw away that I don't think they could have won this
- 22:25whole idea that they wouldn't have been able to won if they
- 22:27weren't doing the things in life they did.
- 22:28I just I don't agree with that. I don't I don't I see Pauline
- 22:31gutter that doesn't tell me that like shows me tells me a base
- 22:34that's very galvanized by people being hardcore pro-life.
- 22:37Look at look at DeSantis. I mean, DeSantis won in a
- 22:41landslide in Florida and he supports the heartbeat law,
- 22:44which is even more than a 15. You know when the baby's hearts
- 22:47detected at 7 or 8 weeks. So it's not like you can't win
- 22:50in a swing state or a purple state by being hardcore
- 22:52pro-life. I mean you can and DeSantis is
- 22:54living proof of that. So anyways would.
- 22:55Have been my guy that would have been the guy that if I had to
- 22:58pick someone, I really like the Santas and I think you're right.
- 23:01People were going were acting like women cared about this
- 23:06issue more than they statistically cared about this
- 23:08issue. It was an entire like focus that
- 23:11Kamala campaign was you. You love abortion.
- 23:14I'll give it to you as much as you want.
- 23:16Like we actually didn't love abortion as much as you counted
- 23:19on common. Maybe single women do.
- 23:21Maybe single women want that. I don't know.
- 23:23You know, it's hard to read the room on that sort of stuff.
- 23:27So maybe single younger women do.
- 23:29But clearly, I mean, I think I looked at like women was it, was
- 23:32it 30 to 45 and like those demographics.
- 23:34And I think he won over a lot of women.
- 23:36He did, Did he? Was it?
- 23:37Can you look this up? Pairs.
- 23:38I don't know if you can say this, but I think he got 10%
- 23:41more of Gen. Z women this year than he got in
- 23:452020. Yeah, Trump's.
- 23:46That's crazy. So I don't know if that's the
- 23:48correct number, but but what I'm trying to say is that Biden got,
- 23:52I should say it this way, Biden got more Gen.
- 23:54Z women than Kamala did Biden. Biden was super pro abortion,
- 23:58but he wasn't talking about it in every speech.
- 24:00In fact, in 2020, Biden was kind of not talking about it a lot of
- 24:03the time because I think, you know, deep down he probably is
- 24:07like uncomfortable with it. I don't know.
- 24:08But Kamala likes is a true believer.
- 24:10I'm a hardcore pro abort. And I just don't think that
- 24:12presented well to even the Democrats.
- 24:14A lot of them didn't go for that.
- 24:15I'm just glad that like Pete, even when I was watching Crystal
- 24:18Ball on breaking points, like she's like, I got it wrong.
- 24:22I got it wrong I thought. Good for her for acknowledging
- 24:25that this. This mattered more to women than
- 24:27it does, you know, and I'm like, I feel like we've been trying to
- 24:30tell you guys this, like I don't think women all want to out, you
- 24:33know, I don't think so. I don't think that's the the
- 24:35vibes. Like, I think the most women
- 24:38from, I mean, almost all women I know are pro-life, you know, but
- 24:41I'd say even the women that are like legal, safe and rare aren't
- 24:44going to die on that. Hill well, and I honestly think
- 24:47too like some of the loudest voices on the left who were like
- 24:49clutching at abortion like this part of that too was the nature
- 24:54of them also being so upset at President Trump now president,
- 24:58you know, president-elect Trump for his past statements about
- 25:01women you know all of the allegations about rape against
- 25:04him like that whole picture for them was like their perfect
- 25:07Handmaid's Tale picture, right. So I think that also made it
- 25:11easier for this very loud but minority group on the left to
- 25:15paint, you know, Trump as this villain da, da, da, right.
- 25:19But that didn't really bear out in the votes because most women
- 25:22are not like solely animated on the right to kill a baby as my
- 25:25like dream voting issue. And then a lot of women are
- 25:28pro-life too. And so you didn't really have
- 25:30the, they didn't have the blue wave they were looking for.
- 25:32Yeah, which which I'm glad. And now I I think when I go.
- 25:36OK, cool. So now you got the Senate,
- 25:38hopefully you can do some of the things that are going to benefit
- 25:42people. Again, I think the border, I
- 25:44think energy production, I think those are two simple things that
- 25:48he can do right away. And then, but I also see this as
- 25:51a, as an opportunity for people to faith Christians to say, OK,
- 25:55now that this is where we are, maybe what we do is we continue
- 26:01casting vision of our plan of how we believe the church is
- 26:05mandated to care for the widow, the orphan, the, you know, those
- 26:10that are going through it. And what, what, what plans do we
- 26:13have to actually care for these? And so I kept telling people
- 26:16like, Hey, it's not that we don't care about poor people.
- 26:19We just don't think the government needs to do it right.
- 26:22We actually believe that they let the get the government out
- 26:24of our way and let the people who have burdens and let the
- 26:28church step up and do that these sorts of things because that's
- 26:32what scripture mandates us to do right now.
- 26:33There's an order to that in first first Timothy chapter 5,
- 26:36Paul talks about the widows and those who can remarry should
- 26:40remarry. Those who can't remarry and have
- 26:42families should go live with their families and those who
- 26:44don't have families. That's who the church is
- 26:46supposed to take care of. But the order is Hugh does not
- 26:49provide for the needs of his household specifically his
- 26:51immediate household is worse than a non believer in his
- 26:53denied of faith. That's first Timothy 5 really
- 26:54harsh verse from from the apostles.
- 26:56So Paul and there's an order to that meaning us.
- 26:59And now I got to take care of my family now then my then in them
- 27:04meaning then I take care of my extended family, my local
- 27:09community and I and then after that I go on to take care of
- 27:13those who are connected to my local community, right.
- 27:16And I think if we can cast that vision as followers of Jesus,
- 27:19like, Hey, get your house in order first care for your family
- 27:22family, then care for your, how about your mom and your
- 27:24grandparents or you just shipping them off or you
- 27:26actually caring for them. But we don't do enough casting
- 27:29vision of like multi generational living.
- 27:32My, my, my, my mother-in-law lives with, with me and my wife.
- 27:36My, my, I take care of all my mom's bills, right.
- 27:38And so I think like casting that sort of vision and saying, no,
- 27:41no, we're not saying that. Like we don't want elderly
- 27:43people and people with disabilities and people who are
- 27:46poor to not be cared for. We just don't think the
- 27:49government is an agent for good. Like that's what we don't see in
- 27:52the scriptures. We see, I see two menates in
- 27:54scriptures. 1 is in Romans 13. The government is to use the
- 27:56sword to suppress evil, right? Order.
- 27:59I see the government is here for order to punish the wrongdoer.
- 28:03And then I see Jeremiah 22, which is don't oppress people
- 28:06who are marginalized, right, Specifically the unborn, the
- 28:09alien, those those specifics. So it's compassion and order.
- 28:13And I think the left has hijacked the compassion and
- 28:15said, oh, the government should do it.
- 28:17And I go, yeah, compassion, but the government shouldn't do it.
- 28:20Get out of the way and let the churches and folks like live
- 28:22action and folks that are really on the ground care for people.
- 28:26And, and, and those of us that have means can put our money
- 28:29where our mouth is and fund the organizations in the nonprofits
- 28:32and lookout for the person in our local community that may
- 28:34need a job or the single mother that may need help on a rent or
- 28:37may need to get groceries or whatever that thing is.
- 28:40I think we don't do a clear enough job of saying those
- 28:43things. And so then the left is allowed
- 28:45to hijack it and then weaponize people's compassion and empathy
- 28:48against them. And, and that's what I'm hoping
- 28:50to also do is like, let's cast vision on these.
- 28:52There's a lot of folks doing great work, like missing what?
- 28:54The Christians don't care about single moms and, you know,
- 28:57babies born in poverty. Like that's just not true.

- 30:18diapers to a mom and a baby in need.
- 30:20And there is public policy on the right that's very pro
- 30:24family, pro child, pro mother and woman.
- 30:28Like all the child tax credit stuff, you know, like make birth
- 30:31free. I mean, there is just there, I
- 30:33think there can be. I, I guess maybe, I don't know
- 30:36if I'm a moderate on like the government's involvement in
- 30:39social services to some degree. The government I think should
- 30:42always be involved in social services.
- 30:44I, I mean, maybe there could be an ideal world where there
- 30:46wasn't involved at all. But it is an important
- 30:49institution, but it has to be within reason.
- 30:51It has to be done in an effective and smart way and
- 30:53obviously not violate human rights by like supporting
- 30:55abortion and transgender surgeries and stuff.
- 30:57So you don't want it so powerful that it has all this crazy
- 30:59control over everyday life. But to some degree, you know, a
- 31:02community can say, hey, through the practice of subsidiarity,
- 31:05this principle that says at this community level, we are going to
- 31:08pay into this, you know, with this fund to support the people
- 31:13that need the support. And that's how we want to run
- 31:16our local government. I think that can that can work.
- 31:19But what I love to see on the Republican side is, you know,
- 31:21make America the friendliest place to, to raise a family, the
- 31:25most welcoming place in the world to raise a family.
- 31:28And one of the best ways that you can do that is families that
- 31:30are having kids. I mean, you have three kids,
- 31:32right? You have two kids, have families
- 31:34who have children. They get, they get more tax
- 31:36credits, they get more tax cuts or they get cash credits.
- 31:40They get, or they get cash credits for even having kids.
- 31:43And you look at, you know, a country like Hungary, they're
- 31:45actually running plans where I think it's if you have 4 kids,
- 31:48you, you don't get, have to pay any income tax.
- 31:51And then if you I think it at your 5th kid, you get a free
- 31:53minivan. I might be getting that part
- 31:55wrong, but stuff like that. It's I mean, we have a declining
- 31:58birth rate. People aren't having enough
- 31:59kids. Harris, pull up the tweets, some
- 32:02of the reaction tweets. There's there's some reaction
- 32:04tweets right now, some very far left women saying we're never
- 32:06going to, you know, have sex or date anymore.
- 32:09I know like make abstinence great again.
- 32:13Well, if you have sex, if you're going to, if you want to have an
- 32:15abortion, yeah, that's that's the way to do.
- 32:17It how about you only have sex with a man that you were married
- 32:20to that will provide for you and that child.
- 32:22Let's let's pull this up and so you guys can see it.
- 32:25So this was there's a lot of this stuff on Twitter right now
- 32:28on accent on Reddit especially. But ladies, we need to start
- 32:31considering the the 4B movement like the women in South Korea
- 32:35give America severely sharp birth rate decline.
- 32:38By the way, there's already a severely sharp birth rate.
- 32:41I know, I know, you know that. No marriage, no childbirth, no
- 32:44dating men, no sex with men. We can't let these men have the
- 32:47last laugh. We need to fight back.
- 32:49Yeah, yeah, I think, I think no marriage and no childbirth is a
- 32:53is a terrible, terrible idea. And I think if if people desire
- 32:57to get married as you get married, but I'm all for the
- 32:59last two. But if you no dating men, no.
- 33:01Sex with men. But I will say, if you hate men
- 33:03and you love abortion, you're not in the place to get married.
- 33:06Yeah, so, you know, you have you have soul work to do.
- 33:09You have soul work to do. And I mean, thankfully I don't
- 33:12see this in most women, but I definitely see it in some.
- 33:14Like we are literally there is a media agenda and certainly I
- 33:18think an ideological like a like truly a demonic 1 to drive
- 33:22enmity between men and women. I mean, that is Taylor's oldest
- 33:25time. Like make them blame each other,
- 33:27hate each other. And so you have this like modern
- 33:29feminism that just hates and hates and hates on men.
- 33:32And then they also collude that with, well, men are pro-life
- 33:35now, I guess, according to these, you know, women posting
- 33:37on. And so we're going to not be
- 33:39with them at all because they're pro-life and they're also anti
- 33:42woman. I mean, whatever the ideology
- 33:44is, but where does it leave that whole group of women if they're
- 33:47not, I mean, if you're not having sex with men and they're
- 33:50not having abortions, thanks be to God, right?
- 33:53So that's the that's the, the hidden silver lining.
- 33:57In addition to saving lives of pro-life laws.
- 34:00Let's not let's not have abortions.
- 34:03Great. They got soul work to do.
- 34:04I think that's a, that's a great way to articulate it.
- 34:06And then I would, yeah, I would go, a guy probably wouldn't even
- 34:12want to marry a woman that's staunchly pro-choice because men
- 34:17don't have reproductive rights. So so you marry someone and,
- 34:21and, or are in a serious relationship with someone and
- 34:23they get pregnant and you're like, Oh my gosh, I always
- 34:25wanted to be a dad. And she goes, oh, no, my career,
- 34:28my education, my, this, my, that.
- 34:30I'm going to go kill this baby. And I have no say say in that.
- 34:33And there's videos, I mean, I think I've seen live action post
- 34:36stuff of men, a young man outside the clinic sobbing and
- 34:42tear and, and, and. Crying so sad because.
- 34:44He wants to keep the baby. I raised the baby by myself.
- 34:47Please don't do this. And so, yeah, so, so.
- 34:49And the story's cut both ways. But those are especially gut
- 34:52wrenching because the man truly has no say because the baby has
- 34:56no status, no legal status. So like, if you're a woman, you
- 34:58own that baby. You own the unborn baby.
- 35:01If you're a woman today, how much of the.
- 35:03You you're probably closer to this work on the ground than I
- 35:05am. I'm discovering that so much of
- 35:08the conversation of the unborn is just from sheer lack of
- 35:11information. Yes, 100% that.
- 35:14That's the entire live action mission.
- 35:16Right, I posted the Time magazine stat that they just
- 35:19confirmed 99% of abortions are out of elective.
- 35:26So most people don't know that. And it's over 90% even are are
- 35:31purely considered for convenience.
- 35:33Even economic severe economic reasons are less than 10% even
- 35:38severe economic reasons because because we have we have a lot of
- 35:42social safety Nets in this country.
- 35:44And the pro-life movement has huge infrastructure already to
- 35:47try to help women if they're willing to be helped.
- 35:49But if you like I was in, I was talking with Brenda Davies for
- 35:52the the Goddess grey personality.
- 35:54We're doing a debate conversation on abortion for
- 35:56like 2 1/2 hours, but she kept saying that no one was there to
- 35:59help her in LA, which is why she had her first abortion.
- 36:02She was explaining and I said no one's there to help you.
- 36:04Like I wish I had known you at that time.
- 36:06I could have hooked you up, you know, I could have hooked you up
- 36:09with free prenatal care. I could.
- 36:11I know the clinic, I've been to the doctor.
- 36:12I know you know he's amazing. I could have hooked you up with
- 36:15all of the resources you need to like feed that baby, clothe that
- 36:18baby, help shelter that baby. I could have hooked you up with
- 36:21pre parents, parenting support, you name it, counseling,
- 36:25whatever. We could have hooked you up.
- 36:27The I mean, it's not going to say it's easy.
- 36:29I'm not going to pretend like it's going to be like having a
- 36:31child is not easy, especially if you are a single parent.
- 36:33It is not easy, but you don't have to kill your baby.
- 36:36You just don't have to do it. There's people that want to help
- 36:39you. Yeah, yeah, so much of it again,
- 36:41so much of it. I think it's just the
- 36:42information gap and, and most people don't know what they
- 36:44don't know. And so it's almost like when I
- 36:45when I shared a video, I don't know if you saw my back and
- 36:48forth with John Legend, but I did a video.
- 36:51Tell me about it. Awesome.
- 36:53We were reacting to John Legend on Shannon Sharpe and he said
- 36:57women need this, women need this, my wife needed this
- 37:01because that. Story drives me so.
- 37:03Miscarried last 16 weeks and I stopped the camera and I said,
- 37:06John, your wife tragically died. I mean, excuse me, your wife,
- 37:10your baby died. Yeah, she needed a procedure
- 37:13that is not the same as abortion.
- 37:14We need to stop with the changing the language and and
- 37:16then like. Yeah, they're not advocating for
- 37:17abortion rights until birth because they had a miscarriage.
- 37:20Yeah, I said that that's, you know, so so so I posted that
- 37:23short clip and so he went in the comments and and tried to go
- 37:25back and forth with. Me.
- 37:26That means that there's something in his conscience, by
- 37:28the way. Yeah.
- 37:29Well, he was raised in the church.
- 37:30He was raised in the church. You started off as a as a minor
- 37:32director and did good for. You Rusan.
- 37:34Good for we. Went we went back and forth and
- 37:37I said, hey, tell you what, before we talk about the
- 37:39exception for the 1%, can we just agree that 99% of these
- 37:42elective procedures are wrong? Could you concede that point?
- 37:44He wouldn't concede that point. And then he kind of landed and
- 37:47people could go see this. It's all on my, I think I pinned
- 37:49up his comment. He goes, you know, well, we're
- 37:52at a moral stalemate because if I believe that was truly a baby
- 37:57in there and then I would come to the same conclusion as you.
- 38:00But I just don't believe that. I think a woman's right to her
- 38:03bodily autonomy. Trump's whatever.
- 38:05That is in there wild about that is they named the baby they
- 38:08miscarried, I think Jack right and and they they like talked
- 38:11about how they loved their son. So on the one it's such crazy
- 38:15cognitive dissonance. On the one hand, he's saying
- 38:17like if you could persuade me it was a baby, I'd be on your side.
- 38:19And then on the other hand, like they delivered this baby.
- 38:23She had this, you know, we, we're not sure exactly the
- 38:25medical condition. I don't think he's shared it.
- 38:27But, you know, apparently a miscarriage, they're calling it
- 38:30an abortion, whatever. But they say this is our son,
- 38:33this is our baby. How?
- 38:35How can you hold both views? I don't know.
- 38:36I don't think he can. And so I just said, Hey, you
- 38:39know what, I appreciate you saying that if you believed what
- 38:42I believed and you had the framework, you would come to the
- 38:43same conclusion. And I said, and I was like, I
- 38:45mean, that I'm not trying to troll you.
- 38:46Like I think that's really mature of you to say, but I
- 38:49think that you, you know, your, your position's incoherent
- 38:52basically. And so anyway, that's all up.
- 38:54And, and he, I was just, you know what, I was grateful that
- 38:58he engaged without name calling that he engaged saying I'm
- 39:01trying to harm women and all this sort of stuff.
- 39:04And so it was interesting to see, to see him engage.
- 39:07And I'm just kind of thinking like, what is John Legend doing?
- 39:09Like scrolling through Instagram, going.
- 39:11He's watching your show, obviously.
- 39:14It's awesome. I.
- 39:15Think this, this there. There is conversation and maybe
- 39:17it is his conscience. Maybe there is something in
- 39:19there? For sure when people will get in
- 39:21your mentions. I mean, this is my opinion
- 39:23anyways. I think there's conscience
- 39:24happening there. Conscience or unresolved anger
- 39:28that they're so emotional they have to go in your mentions.
- 39:31That's my opinion. People who a lot of not a lot of
- 39:34people, a handful of women, they're like, how dare you talk
- 39:36about this as a man? And so I ended up just saying,
- 39:38well, you know, my friend Lila does the frontline.
- 39:42She's a woman. She told me to speak up about
- 39:44this. I I sure did.
- 39:45I'm gonna keep. Speaking up about it, I'm gonna
- 39:47listen to my women friends who told me to speak up.
- 39:49About I love it so you're. My, you're my lifeline.
- 39:51Yeah, to be like, don't. You're crushing it too.
- 39:53Thank you. Which is a.
- 39:54Funny thing to be like like I can't a man can have an opinion
- 39:57on women shouldn't be sexually assaulted unless I volunteer at
- 40:02the women's shelter like like. It's such a bizarre point of
- 40:04view. I can't have an opinion about
- 40:05speed limit laws unless we're like what?
- 40:08Are we talking about it makes no sense or like if a guy is about
- 40:11to jump off a bridge because he's wants to commit suicide and
- 40:14you try to stop him, how dare you try to stop him unless
- 40:17you're going to pay his rent, unless you're going to get him
- 40:19the health care he needs afterwards, unless you're going
- 40:21to feed him and take care of him for the rest of his life.
- 40:23I mean, that's the standard they tell pro lifers.
- 40:25Like you're not allowed to say don't kill the baby unless you
- 40:27personally take care of that baby.
- 40:29Now, by the way, I think we actually should personally take
- 40:30care of those babies and help in all the ways that we already are
- 40:33in the movement and do more of that.
- 40:34But yeah, it's it's not a video. It's not a good argument.
- 40:38We have a video coming out that is us reacting to when they pass
- 40:43no drink driving laws and no seat belt laws and the complete
- 40:48meltdown people are. Having no wait, wait, when did
- 40:51they? He's in the 80s, OK?
- 40:52People saw guys like cracking over from the beer.
- 40:54You mean to tell me I can't have a beer after?
- 40:56A. But you found the commercials.
- 40:58Yeah, we found them. Really interesting so we're.
- 41:01Reacting to this stuff and we're like.
- 41:03That's so interesting. American to tell me what I can't
- 41:06do with my body and this whole and I just did.
- 41:08They really say that. Yes, one lady said.
- 41:11One lady is in the front seat and there's a baby in the front
- 41:13seat with her. Not in a car seat.
- 41:15Not in the car seat or or something.
- 41:16And she goes this they going to make this.
- 41:19We going to be a communist nation before it's over, right?
- 41:21And so it's like we've been telling people what they can and
- 41:24can't be with their bodies. That's the entire entire legal
- 41:28system. News flash.
- 41:30OK, what you're saying, I wanted to show get to this little thing
- 41:33that another thing I saw in X recently.
- 41:35But there's a lot of fear about the election.
- 41:39So there's a lot of celebration like people are.
- 41:41So there's a lot like you're saying in these texts from
- 41:42people that maybe were moderates or didn't vote for Trump before,
- 41:44and they're so excited that Trump has won and Kamala Harris
- 41:47and the Democrats are defeated. But there's all these people
- 41:49that are, you know, they call it liberal tears.
- 41:53What is the term that they'll rightly uses?
- 41:54Like maybe insensitively, but all of the people who are really
- 41:57upset, right? So anyways, pull up this one,
- 42:00Harris, the one from the guy about the grandmother.
- 42:04So I, I am curious your take on this because it's connected to
- 42:06what you just said. I am going somewhere with this
- 42:08because this idea that there are laws that are scary and you look
- 42:14at the line, you don't want to, you know, you're like scared of
- 42:16this new law or you don't know what to do with it.
- 42:17And then we look back, you know, 30 years later and you're like,
- 42:19oh, this everyone wears a seat belt now, right?
- 42:21But anyways, this was something that do you have the Jesse Kelly
- 42:241? So I'm going to show what he
- 42:26said first because I think some of the reactions are to this.
- 42:29So this was 1. So there's a bunch of people on
- 42:32X right now. There's the women who are really
- 42:34upset, not all of them. There's a few who are saying
- 42:37we're not going to sleep with men anymore because of Trump
- 42:39abortion bans. OK, sounds good, right?
- 42:41That's a good idea. But then there's also this.
- 42:43There's a bunch of people who are talking about, they're
- 42:45being, they're afraid that they might be deported under Trump.
- 42:49And this is an example of that's been going around a lot.
- 42:53Jesse Kelly, I don't know if he ended up deleting this.
- 42:55Actually. So Kelly left it.
- 42:56Up. He left it up.
- 42:57And deleted his tweet it looks like.
- 42:59Because he didn't want people like Kelly.
- 43:01There's not unclear. Mark Cuban had a pull up that
- 43:03said, what would you do with this grandmother?
- 43:06She came here illegally when she was young.
- 43:08Now she's lived here 40 years. She's law abiding, all of this
- 43:10stuff. And she has kids and she has
- 43:12grandkids and she's never done a crime in her life.
- 43:15And she pays taxes. Jesse Kelly responds to kicking
- 43:17her door in the middle of the night, Put her in handcuffs and
- 43:19send her and her kids back to where she was born.
- 43:21Do it on camera as a warning to anyone who thinks they can
- 43:24violate the sovereignty of any country without consequences.
- 43:27Super harsh and dark. Yeah, and so you, that ain't it.
- 43:31That ain't it. No, I think here's the thing, my
- 43:35prediction of it's going to First of all, Obama deported way
- 43:37more people than than Trump did under his administration.
- 43:40So that's like just basic. No one knows that, no one knows
- 43:44that. Second of all, how do you know
- 43:46the numbers on that exactly? I don't know the numbers
- 43:47exactly, but I know someone. More deportations under Obama
- 43:50than Trump, but they just didn't make headline news.
- 43:52I know someone's whose dad got deported under Obama.
- 43:58Yeah. So I personally know somebody.
- 44:00Yeah. So I think one, what are we
- 44:02we're dealing with right now, there's an issue with the amount
- 44:07of asylum seekers coming over because of the catch and release
- 44:10in America versus catch and release in Mexico.
- 44:12So 1, you got to stop the bleeding, and that's going to
- 44:14require better border security. Probably, yeah.
- 44:18Probably a wall which Harris is now all of a sudden in favor
- 44:22for, which is interesting. It is wild to me that she was.
- 44:26The borders are right and she went to the border only once and
- 44:29that was when she was campaigning for president.
- 44:31Is that? To be fair to her seat, her job
- 44:33was to go and tell the countries where the migrants were coming
- 44:36from to not come. That's what her job was
- 44:37actually. So as borders are, we don't have
- 44:39to go. To the border.
- 44:40Yeah, she didn't have to go to the border, but she probably
- 44:41should have went to the border. But that was what she was
- 44:43supposed to be doing, was like, hey, tell the people over there
- 44:45to not come over here. And she was like, don't come
- 44:46over. Here, easy as that, right to say
- 44:48sending a memo don't come. Yeah, I'm sure doesn't work
- 44:51well. They got to stop the influx
- 44:54right now like that needs to stop. 2 What's probably going to
- 44:58happen? My guess would be the people who
- 45:00came over and are are arrested and criminals are probably going
- 45:04to get deported first. Like that's what's going to
- 45:06happen. And then I think you have to
- 45:09sort out with the people that came over here who have
- 45:12legitimate asylum claims and, and, and go and actually get
- 45:15them to come back to those court dates that you wrote them
- 45:17tickets for and then start processing those people.
- 45:20My opinion is I don't think the grandma who's been here for. 34
- 45:24the last person very last, yeah. And even then it's like, I don't
- 45:30know. I when they, they, if, if we
- 45:34because of our failure to have a border and our failure to have a
- 45:37system, someone has been here for 40 years and they are not
- 45:40committing crimes and they've been paying taxes and they've
- 45:42been raising American born children.
- 45:44Is it really in the best interest of the United States to
- 45:47deport that person? Even from that view?
- 45:49I don't see how that you, you hurt social fabric, in my
- 45:52opinion, if you do that and you hurt our economy if you do that.
- 45:55So it's, it's actually a self-imposed wound to do the
- 45:58deportations at that level, in my view.
- 46:01So, but I understand the principle and I agree with the
- 46:03principle that, you know, we need a border, we need a rule of
- 46:05law, all of that. Seven weeks Coffee is America's
- 46:08pro-life coffee company on a mission to fund the pro-life

- 47:23Trump, but if I had to guess, I think he's in a space where he's
- 47:26thinking about legacy and he's thinking because he's not
- 47:29running again, he's thinking about legacy.
- 47:31He wants to be on Mount Rushmore.
- 47:32He wants. To be 1.
- 47:33Of the best. Presidents And so I think he at
- 47:36the end of the day from, from again, my understanding of him
- 47:40and the, the handful of people that I know that that know him,
- 47:43he's at the end of the day, not a politician, he's not an
- 47:45ideologue, he's a deal maker. So I think hopefully, preferably
- 47:50he's going to navigate this conversation of, of migrants and
- 47:53folks who are here delicately and not just like mass
- 47:56deportation. Now, again, there will be some
- 47:58deportation. The folks, the criminals, the
- 47:59folks that are taking over apartment buildings, regardless
- 48:01if it's one apartment building or all like how particular those
- 48:04are, right? Because we want to get into the
- 48:05minutiae of those. I think those are the people
- 48:07that are going to go. I think all these folks that are
- 48:08registered gang members, all the folks that have committed
- 48:11crimes. And I can't.
- 48:11I don't even hear people on on the left who can support like
- 48:14not deporting people who are violent offenders or criminal
- 48:17offenders here. I mean, maybe there's some, but
- 48:19it seems pretty a unit unity position.
- 48:21Progressive far left that like buy into this whole nation
- 48:24states are bad. George have no prisons.
- 48:26Free them all, yeah? I think those people may, but I
- 48:28think those people are the fringe, fringe, fringe left.
- 48:30I don't think most people are like, yeah, let's get more
- 48:32people here. So again, I think as a follower
- 48:34of Jesus, there's a tension I live in of when I come across
- 48:38undocumented folks who came over here illegally, I could extend
- 48:41compassion and resource and help them, right?
- 48:45Like I've met several folks that came, oddly enough, that came
- 48:48over illegally, Uber drivers. I've met the, the what some of
- 48:52the folks that helped me move into my home that came over like
- 48:55Kazakhstan or something, folks that came over because they fled
- 48:57the war in Russia. They didn't want to, they didn't
- 48:58want to fight for Putin. I know quite a few people like
- 49:01that. And, and my heart to them is
- 49:03goes, wow, that sucks. It sounds like you have a legit
- 49:05case. Is there anything I could do to
- 49:07help? You know, is anything is there
- 49:08is there? Do you have a lawyer?
- 49:10Like what is your process? What does that look like?
- 49:12And so these are folks that are contributing, they're working,
- 49:14They're not sitting on their hands.
- 49:16And I think those people out of net positive to society.
- 49:18I don't think that the person that's here is losing a job
- 49:22because a guy comes over and wants to drive Uber or or move
- 49:25people. And I think the reality is, yes,
- 49:26there is racism in this country. There's always going to be
- 49:29unfortunately, some racism. Like there will always
- 49:31unfortunately be some willingness to kill, to rape, to
- 49:35steal all of this because it's the human condition.
- 49:38But this idea that these policies, like the Republican
- 49:41policies are animated by racism, like that narrative, I think
- 49:44deep down, most people don't actually believe that.
- 49:47Maybe some people on the far left really believe that, But I
- 49:49don't, I mean, not to say there aren't people who are Republican
- 49:52who may be racist, right? It's not.
- 49:54I'm not pretending that everyone is not racist because of
- 49:56certainly racism exists still. And there's it's, you know, it's
- 50:00a problem. Like people should check their
- 50:01hearts all of this. But this idea that these
- 50:03policies of a strong border, deporting criminals are born out
- 50:07of racism, I just don't think there's true sincerity behind
- 50:09that. I don't think that's true.
- 50:10I'm with you. And I think even the definition
- 50:12of racism changing to, you know, viewing another race as inferior
- 50:17to a race to now power plus prejudice, right?
- 50:20Like racism should be prejudice now it's power plus prejudice.
- 50:22Or white people can be racist. Black people can be like, I
- 50:24think all that is super goofy and I think the average person
- 50:26is like. Yeah.
- 50:27What this doesn't make any sense.
- 50:30The the idea I asked somebody out this on on Instagram today,
- 50:33someone was mad because I said a video.
- 50:34I put out a video. I, I put out a note on Instagram
- 50:37and put out a video said, hey, check on your liberal friends.
- 50:40I wasn't being facetious. I genuinely met like check on
- 50:41any liberal friends today. They're probably hurting.
- 50:43And I did and I checked on my liberal friends and they were
- 50:45saying some of the same things. And I was like, hey, like, you
- 50:48know. Did they feel existential fear
- 50:49your friends? Or was it more like, because
- 50:51let's pull up the other tweet that we saw about the Kelly
- 50:54thing, But were they like, yeah, how were they feeling?
- 50:57Was it existential fear? Was your impression or was it
- 50:59more just like, worry about what's going to happen?
- 51:02Some people felt like they're they were disappointed by
- 51:07evangelical Christians. I can't believe you guys elected
- 51:09this guy right and. How could you?
- 51:11Yeah, how could you and other folks?
- 51:14I'm getting that. I mean, even people to me, I
- 51:16mean, I get I get some heat from both sides, which is fine, you
- 51:20know, as long as I'm feel my conscience and I think I'm doing
- 51:23what's right. But there's people that are
- 51:25saying like, how could you have voted for Trump?
- 51:27Like he does support some abortions.
- 51:29Yeah. And also look at these, you
- 51:30know, rape allegations and look at all of these things.
- 51:33And yeah, I mean, it is, it is a real concern that.
- 51:36People have the allegations has been brought up and then other
- 51:38people legitimately believe that we are entering, entering
- 51:42fascism, you know, and hatred One like there's people that
- 51:46believe that. And yeah, I think generally
- 51:48speaking, the, the, the sentiment I'm getting is like,
- 51:50man, how how could you vote for someone that has done XY and Z?
- 51:54And then what I'm trying to do is say, hey, I understand.
- 51:56Like I understand you're afraid. I understand this.
- 51:59But let let me try to give you a little bit of macro perspective
- 52:02of like what happened and how bad the Democrats did and how
- 52:05unpopular they were and how unpopular the candidate was.
- 52:09And then let's let's let's go and tease out some of these like
- 52:12accusations of racism. OK?
- 52:13Can you give me something specific?
- 52:15He said? Well, he said Charlottesville.
- 52:16Well, Charlottesville has been debunked numerous times, right?
- 52:18Good people on both sides. I'm not talking about the white
- 52:21supremacist, like that's been debunked.
- 52:23Well, he is. So when you start getting into
- 52:25the detail like which, OK, the Central Park 5, OK, fair enough.
- 52:28Bad. That was dumb.
- 52:29That was stupid. That was in the 80s.
- 52:32What has he done? Didn't Hillary Clinton call them
- 52:34super predators in the 90s? I think Biden is the one who
- 52:37called him. Was that Biden?
- 52:38I think Clinton did it too. Some wild stuff, too.
- 52:40They've asked some wild stuff. So they're pointing us stuff
- 52:43from the 80s at night. OK.
- 52:44And I go, OK, wait a minute. What has he done recently?
- 52:46Oh, he passed criminal justice reform.
- 52:48Van Jones is on CNN crying, thanking Trump.
- 52:51Van Jones, who's like. Trump did it, not Obama Is the
- 52:54is the point. Yeah, yeah.
- 52:56Trump did it. Yeah, and Obama could have done
- 52:58it right, That's the thing. And so he worked with Democrats
- 53:02and rules to pass mass criminal justice reform.
- 53:05OK opportunity zones OK massive funding for HBC US.
- 53:10Seems like if he's racist, he's sure not acting.
- 53:13He's a bad racist. He's a bad racist.
- 53:14He's failing at his racist. Right.
- 53:16And so that's the part where I go, yeah, I, I don't know about
- 53:18that. Now, again, then you can get
- 53:19into the weeds of like, you start changing the definition of
- 53:22what racism is, and it's this implicit bias and white people
- 53:24don't even know they're. And then I go, OK, wait, wait,
- 53:25wait, wait. Now we're talking about
- 53:27something else. Like we're talking about this,
- 53:29this, this virus that those folks, only people who aren't
- 53:32black can catch this virus to be subconsciously angry towards
- 53:37black people without knowing they're angry towards black
- 53:38people. And participate in a system
- 53:42that's complicit in it, though you can't point me to any
- 53:45specific laws. That's that's a little
- 53:46different, That's a little wonky.
- 53:48And that's kind of what Matt Walsh explored on the whole am I
- 53:51racist movie. And, and, you know, to scratch.
- 53:53I think he did a fantastic job. I think the issue with that,
- 53:55though, is that the that that world didn't start in a vacuum.
- 53:58Like there were bad policies from slavery to Jim Crow to the
- 54:03war on drugs that have disproportionately affected
- 54:06black families. And I think it's OK to
- 54:07acknowledge that The issue is some of those policies were
- 54:10supported by black people when they happened.
- 54:11And specifically the war on drugs, the tough on crime bills,
- 54:13A lot of that was supported by the the, the Jesse Jacksons and
- 54:16the Al Sharpton's. It's just that it ended up
- 54:19hurting the black community, right?
- 54:20And, and those are real things that happened.
- 54:22You can get into the CIA being complicit and allowing cheap
- 54:26cocaine to flood the streets to fund the war in Nicaragua and
- 54:30the, the communism like, oh, that stuff is all real.
- 54:32Like that stuff really happened. And that hugely disaffected
- 54:35black people negatively. So we can't ignore that these
- 54:37things happen. But they say today there are
- 54:40laws that are harmful. That are on the books.
- 54:43On the books, harmful I think. I think.
- 54:45I think they're grasping for straws.
- 54:46But we can talk about bad policies and and and what
- 54:49corrections need to be made. Nixon and the leaked tapes of
- 54:52him dropping the N word and LBJ being pretty overtly racist.
- 54:56I mean, that whole ideology is basically, if there exists in
- 55:00equity, there must be injustice, Yeah, Which is not, which is
- 55:02not. And it's just not the case
- 55:03because the reality is, I mean, who was I talking to recently on
- 55:06the show? But they're sharing was that,
- 55:08oh, Father Ambrose, he did a great little thing.
- 55:10But we had Father Ambrose, Kristen, and I think you had him
- 55:12on recently too, right? But he was just sharing how like
- 55:14God created people differently and they might look unequal by
- 55:18standard of how tall they are, how they're different kinds of
- 55:22talents. You know, they're different
- 55:23kinds of maybe earning power, like whatever.
- 55:26Like there's these differences that happen, but that doesn't
- 55:29mean that there's an injustice there in the difference.
- 55:32So if. Anything, I think if we're
- 55:34looking at that word justice, the word has been changed.
- 55:37So the word justice means take stuff from one group of people,
- 55:40give it to another group of people who are negative
- 55:42redistribution. That's actually that
- 55:45redistribution is actually injustice.
- 55:47So you already have the job creators, the highest earners
- 55:51doing the majority, not just of the taxes, the top 10% paying
- 55:54in, I want to say 70 to 80% of all taxes.
- 55:58But you also are saying those people didn't really earn it,
- 56:01which is not true. 85% of millionaires are first
- 56:04generation rich, 65% of billionaires, 1st generation
- 56:07rich, meaning they did not inherit it, they did not win the
- 56:09lottery. They work their way up to be in
- 56:11these positions. And so you're take, you want to
- 56:13take from one group to give to another group, even though that
- 56:16group had nothing to do with this group not getting it.
- 56:18That's injustice to me, right? But again, people aren't
- 56:22thinking through these things because they think that like,
- 56:24yeah, federal income taxes, progressive taxes has always
- 56:26been a thing. And I'm like, no, it actually
- 56:28hasn't. It's like 110 years old, 115
- 56:30years old, 1910 ish is when we had the first federal taxes and
- 56:33you got this crazy progressive tax rate.
- 56:35And again, I'm not talk about the the tech billionaires who
- 56:38are taking small salaries and taking loans against their
- 56:42assets and finessing the system. I'm not talking about that.
- 56:44That's different. Talk about the average person
- 56:46here. That's like, hey, not only do I
- 56:48pay the vast majority of taxes, but I actually give the vast
- 56:52majority the charity, right? I give the vast majority to to
- 56:55the church. I give the majority to to not
- 56:57you want to tax those. People are you?
- 56:58Are you at 10% like everyone? At least 10%.
- 57:02Yeah, well, they're not. And not in a I'm actually
- 57:04teaching about this to our young adults on Tuesday.
- 57:06Not in a legalistic sense, not in like a if you don't do this
- 57:09you're wrong sense, but in a hey.
- 57:12God will. I believe God is very God is
- 57:14more generous than we are. So when we do the 10% thing God
- 57:17does, God takes care of business.
- 57:20He takes care of business for you.
- 57:21I believe the radical generosity in my opinion, is more than 10%.
- 57:25So when we, when you factor in all of our giving to nonprofits,
- 57:28to missionaries, to our local church, we do 10% to our local
- 57:31church and then we try to give way and it's awesome that and
- 57:34then just helping family and helping people that we know that
- 57:36that need it. And so, yeah, it's, it's
- 57:38supernatural math that people don't understand that like,
- 57:40well, how does that make sense? But yeah, I believe that like,
- 57:43you should be giving 10% to your local church, not as like you're
- 57:46not a Christian if you don't give percent to your local
- 57:48church. But that's just a good
- 57:49principle. If you could figure out how to
- 57:50give 10 and live on 90 and even makes room to invest and to
- 57:54save, I think you'll be in a way better position.
- 57:55I think as a principle, it's a great, great, great principle.
- 57:58So we're going to jump over to locals and we're going to talk
- 58:01about what we want Trump to do on day one in office and then do
- 58:04Q&A. So I haven't done this before.
- 58:07Guys. Come with me to locals, please.
