- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks. Things in the hubs. Good listening together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. Turn you you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn you got to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water got come Come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing, h I show, well a good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice. Come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: one it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: have something and it so describes how I was living.
- 2:16Speaker 1: It's so captures the feelings that I had about beginning
- 2:23Speaker 1: on the pathway of my dreams. It so describes how
- 2:28Speaker 1: I felt when I was about to attempt something. And
- 2:32Speaker 1: I have some striking news for you. It describes often
- 2:36Speaker 1: how I feel still today to a degree. So let
- 2:41Speaker 1: me tell you what that is. Here's an analogy that
- 2:45Speaker 1: I've heard a couple of different ways, but I've kind of,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you know, fixed it around to where I can drink
- 2:52Speaker 1: it better, and I think it fits my personality to
- 2:55Speaker 1: describe it to people best this way. I've talked often
- 2:59Speaker 1: about the earth agency of doing something with your life,
- 3:04Speaker 1: of getting started today, of stopping the procrastination and putting
- 3:08Speaker 1: it off, and waiting on all your ducks to line
- 3:11Speaker 1: up in a row, and waiting till the stars aligned themselves.
- 3:15Speaker 1: If you ain't know such a thing, you're never gonna
- 3:18Speaker 1: get started. I don't know too many people who can
- 3:21Speaker 1: say that all the ducks just lined up in a row.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Things happen even when you get them lined up. One
- 3:27Speaker 1: of the ducks get out of line, or somebody knock
- 3:30Speaker 1: over the domino, or something happens. But here's the point
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'm getting at. God has so many blessings available to you.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You who's listening. God has so many blessings available to
- 3:48Speaker 1: you from where you are right now. I don't care
- 3:53Speaker 1: what you've gotten yourself into or what you've done. God
- 3:57Speaker 1: has so many blessings that he can send your way.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But you have to do something. See a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 1: people just sit around and go man, and something always
- 4:11Speaker 1: happening to you. You're always getting a break, You're always
- 4:13Speaker 1: doing this. You always the man. Don't nothing come my way.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Listen to me. If nothing ever comes your way, you
- 4:19Speaker 1: know why that is. It's because you're not doing anything.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I promise you you're not. Here's a deal. God has
- 4:26Speaker 1: all these blessings he wants to send you, but you
- 4:29Speaker 1: got to give him something to work with. Now, come on,
- 4:34Speaker 1: God will bless you. God can touch people's hearts on
- 4:37Speaker 1: your behalf, He can move situations around for you. He
- 4:41Speaker 1: can align the stars. He can set the ducks up
- 4:43Speaker 1: in the road. But align the stars and move people around,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and touch people's hearts and set the ducks up in
- 4:49Speaker 1: the road. For what have you put forth? Any effort?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Have you made a single step in any direction to
- 4:57Speaker 1: do the right thing or go the right way? That
- 4:59Speaker 1: give him something to put his finger on. Come on, man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: God can only bless you according to your faith. If
- 5:09Speaker 1: you have a little bit of faith, give him that.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Let him work with that. You know, man, I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: always start with these speeches you're hear in the morning now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 1: to these. Hell, I got it wrong so many times
- 5:27Speaker 1: to be able to sound like I got some sense,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I said it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do
- 5:33Speaker 1: you know how many times I have had to have
- 5:36Speaker 1: failed to have what I have in my head today?
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you Man, it's a process. People get mad
- 5:43Speaker 1: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 1: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:49Speaker 1: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:51Speaker 1: any effort, you can get blessed from whoever you are
- 5:54Speaker 1: in your life. Wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:58Speaker 1: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from. Now.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 1: done it. I got over. Man, I learned some things
- 6:07Speaker 1: along the way. Because here's a deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 1: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:12Speaker 1: through with you yet. When he's done, you're done. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: if God still has a plan for you you wake
- 6:17Speaker 1: up in the morning, He's still got some more work
- 6:20Speaker 1: for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 1: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and He can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 1: walk towards him a little bit. Here's a deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 1: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 1: the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if I fail?
- 6:41Speaker 1: What if I don't get picked? You know, one of
- 6:43Speaker 1: the hardest things I ever did was walking in to
- 6:46Speaker 1: quit my job. Oh man, let me tell you about
- 6:49Speaker 1: that day when I decided that I was going to
- 6:52Speaker 1: be a full time comedian after winning an amateur night
- 6:55Speaker 1: one time, quitting your job, following dream, going forward despite
- 7:02Speaker 1: all the nay says, it's like stepping off a cliff.
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's like actually just walking off the edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now not really knowing, but hoping. Hoping is the bad
- 7:19Speaker 1: basis of faith. I stepped off the cliff hoping that
- 7:25Speaker 1: my parachute would open and allow me to drift down. See.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I've never skydived before, but I would imagine part of
- 7:35Speaker 1: the thrill. And I don't know this because I'm not
- 7:37Speaker 1: going to skydive to find out. I think part of
- 7:41Speaker 1: the thrill for people is the danger part of throwing
- 7:45Speaker 1: yourself out a plane and how it feels to be
- 7:48Speaker 1: free falling, but the whole time they're free falling, having
- 7:52Speaker 1: this exhilarating over the top moment. You have got to
- 7:57Speaker 1: believe in your heart of hearts. You have got I
- 8:00Speaker 1: hope with everything in you that when you pull this
- 8:02Speaker 1: chord the shoot opens or else This ain't a good
- 8:06Speaker 1: move at all. But you've packed your shoot yourself, You've
- 8:10Speaker 1: taken the lessons, so you go ahead and you make
- 8:12Speaker 1: the leap. Now, the only thing about quitting your job
- 8:15Speaker 1: and following your dream is you ain't really been trained
- 8:18Speaker 1: all that good for this. You didn't packed your shoot,
- 8:21Speaker 1: but you ain't never opened it before. So I walked
- 8:24Speaker 1: off this cliff, That's what it was like. And you
- 8:26Speaker 1: following your dream is like you walking off a cliff.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Here's the part where people don't never make the jump.
- 8:33Speaker 1: They see somebody like myself who jumped off the cliff
- 8:36Speaker 1: and the pass shoot don't open right away, and I
- 8:39Speaker 1: hit a couple of rocks on the way down. I
- 8:42Speaker 1: got my back cut up pretty bad. They see that
- 8:46Speaker 1: three years living in a car man, he got his
- 8:48Speaker 1: life toe down jumping off that cliff. I ain't jumping
- 8:51Speaker 1: off that cliff. But see, what you don't understand is
- 8:54Speaker 1: you don't know it. But eventually the shoot will open
- 8:59Speaker 1: and I'm I'm at the parachute opening part of my life, man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: where a shoot then open and I'm drifting and I'm
- 9:06Speaker 1: able to guide my shoote over to Paris and glide.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I've I've glided over to Africa and seen what it
- 9:12Speaker 1: looked like. It's a slow ride down. When the passchute
- 9:15Speaker 1: finally opened, and my back then heel too, and the
- 9:19Speaker 1: cuts that I had on me I remember now I
- 9:22Speaker 1: know how to stay away from the edge. But the
- 9:24Speaker 1: parish chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my life for
- 9:27Speaker 1: the first time. I'm gliding, but I got hit up
- 9:30Speaker 1: against the rock. I can see more. I get a
- 9:33Speaker 1: chance to see more things. I get to glide and
- 9:36Speaker 1: see more parts of the world. I'm living my dream.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Your passhoote is going open, but I'll tell you one
- 9:42Speaker 1: thing for shore, It'll never open if you don't step
- 9:44Speaker 1: off that cliff. You got to step off that cliff,
- 9:47Speaker 1: got to get the passchute open for you. But you
- 9:50Speaker 1: got to jump, baby. That's the hard part, ain't it now?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Question is the end of this story right here today
- 9:55Speaker 1: when you jumping, you're listening to show you know something.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Everybody listen. This is the voice of you, dude. This
- 10:06Speaker 1: is your boy one and only here coming to you
- 10:10Speaker 1: with encouragement, enlightenment, information, entertainment. First thing I want to say,
- 10:15Speaker 1: God is good man, Yeah is. I don't care what
- 10:19Speaker 1: you're going through. He gonna pull you through it. Know that,
- 10:22Speaker 1: no question about it. And he always done it. Yes,
- 10:26Speaker 1: he has. Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. That
- 10:30Speaker 1: that you're going through, he gonna pull you through it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And remember every test has a purpose of the meaning
- 10:35Speaker 1: behind it. You ain't just getting thrown to the wolf.
- 10:38Speaker 1: You belong to him. You his and he yours. Huh,
- 10:42Speaker 1: Charley Strawberry, Colin Farrell, Junior, Mississippi Monica, the legend of
- 10:48Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy and yours truly, Junior. Yes, that's started. That started.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Damn the head crisis rode on it. But you know
- 11:00Speaker 1: ball but life not Joe crisis. I mean, like chrisis
- 11:05Speaker 1: ain't a good word. That had a little stress in it. Okay,
- 11:09Speaker 1: what's wrong? You know? I just got to find out,
- 11:12Speaker 1: you know, how long it's gonna be going on? You know?
- 11:14Speaker 1: Do they You know I'm married and everything, but my wife. Man,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I love my wife, I really do. I love her
- 11:19Speaker 1: to death. But how many times do they have to
- 11:22Speaker 1: call your name for nothing? How long did that last?
- 11:25Speaker 1: But that is a very thing I can't understand. That
- 11:29Speaker 1: was a clue in in the vibe. Huh, you didn't
- 11:34Speaker 1: hear the clue in the VIWN Till death, do you, Paul? Yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 1: that's how long he gonna be calling your name for
- 11:47Speaker 1: no damn reason at all. And I got to answer
- 11:50Speaker 1: every time I tell you what, I'll tell you what.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. If you
- 11:55Speaker 1: want to see how effective it is, don't ask. Oh
- 12:00Speaker 1: we've all tried that, Judice. Yeah, okay, I've tried it.
- 12:06Speaker 1: This high wind Steve, Steve, Steve. Now I heard her,
- 12:15Speaker 1: but I'm I don't want to. I don't because all
- 12:17Speaker 1: I know when she called me, she wants me to
- 12:20Speaker 1: come to wherever she is. I'm downstairs. I don't want
- 12:23Speaker 1: to go up all him damn steps. So I try
- 12:26Speaker 1: to be I act like I don't hear. And then
- 12:29Speaker 1: next thing I hear. I know you hear me because
- 12:33Speaker 1: I do. And it's something about your wife's voice. Man,
- 12:37Speaker 1: you can hear that thing. I haven't been in Melodomino
- 12:41Speaker 1: games talking mad sugar honeyout his teeth. I'm talking about
- 12:45Speaker 1: letting them have it. I can hear that little voice
- 12:49Speaker 1: over all those men's so junior? How long will this
- 12:54Speaker 1: be going on? Just like the vil said, till death?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Do us pro Now you can do like I did
- 13:02Speaker 1: with my second one. Because this is what I did.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I honored the vibe Richard for poor signals in him
- 13:09Speaker 1: and to depth. Do you pause? So what I did
- 13:13Speaker 1: was the moment I felt like I was dying, I parted.
- 13:22Speaker 1: That's what I did. The moment I felt like I
- 13:27Speaker 1: was dying, I said, it's time to pause, all right?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:39Speaker 1: hear from the nephew. Is he runs that frank back
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this? You're listening to show and it's time
- 13:47Speaker 1: now to run that prank back with the nephew. Nephew,
- 13:49Speaker 1: what you got, Well, we're dealing with no hair weaves. Okay,
- 13:54Speaker 1: no hair weaves. So you say I didn't got too long.
- 14:00Speaker 1: It's just it's out of role. All is hitting yourself
- 14:04Speaker 1: in the head. We don't know why you hitting yourself,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and it's too much. Now, Yeah, pens and anything pointing
- 14:14Speaker 1: you can find cat dog. Let's go Hello. Hello, I'm
- 14:19Speaker 1: trying to reach Resa. Please Resa, Hi Resa. My name
- 14:22Speaker 1: is Byron, Byron from the job. How are you? I'm okay,
- 14:26Speaker 1: how are you buying? I'm good. Listen. I hate to
- 14:28Speaker 1: call you after hours at your home, but there has
- 14:31Speaker 1: been some new issues that will be going into effect.
- 14:34Speaker 1: That's just tomorrow morning, and we're calling everyone letting them
- 14:38Speaker 1: know the new changes that have been issued that will
- 14:42Speaker 1: take effect first thing tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone
- 14:44Speaker 1: a call. So don't be alarmed. It's just giving you
- 14:47Speaker 1: a call letting you know what the what the higher
- 14:50Speaker 1: ups have changed. Okay, okay, there's no problem to listen. Okay,
- 14:54Speaker 1: as up tomorrow, what's gonna happen is when you guys
- 14:56Speaker 1: come in, you'll be issued a new key card, and
- 14:59Speaker 1: that particular card will actually registers when you come in
- 15:02Speaker 1: and go out. Okay, okay, all right. Second one is
- 15:06Speaker 1: there will no longer be any personal Internet at the
- 15:09Speaker 1: job any longer. You won't be able. They're actually putting
- 15:11Speaker 1: a block on all computers. All the computers will no
- 15:15Speaker 1: longer be able to go to a lot of these
- 15:17Speaker 1: sites that you guys go to that you've been that's
- 15:20Speaker 1: been available here in the past. Okay, okay, all right.
- 15:24Speaker 1: The last one is reesa do you do you wear
- 15:28Speaker 1: a hair weave? What do you wear a hair weave
- 15:31Speaker 1: or a wig? Yes? Okay, Well here's one thing and
- 15:35Speaker 1: hopefully you can get this change about tomorrow. There's no
- 15:38Speaker 1: weaves or hair or wigs gonna be allowed at the
- 15:43Speaker 1: job site from this point on. So as of tomorrow morning,
- 15:46Speaker 1: everyone must be wearing their natural hair. You're joking. Uh No,
- 15:50Speaker 1: these are the issues that are going to be that
- 15:53Speaker 1: are in stated, and these are going to take effect
- 15:55Speaker 1: as of tomorrow morning, seven o'clock. What does have to
- 15:59Speaker 1: do with changes the first two I can understand punching
- 16:02Speaker 1: in and being on the internet. Yes, that's something that
- 16:05Speaker 1: that corporate. But hair weaves and weaves you're getting into
- 16:09Speaker 1: changing us are they're looking down upon it. Wigs and
- 16:14Speaker 1: hair weaves they have to go. So I'm assuming that
- 16:18Speaker 1: if you, like you said, you do have one, it
- 16:22Speaker 1: doesn't come out of there taking it down now and
- 16:25Speaker 1: prepare your hair to be natural as you come in
- 16:27Speaker 1: to work tomorrow. I'm not taking my hair down. I've
- 16:30Speaker 1: been here seven years and I've dealt with all the
- 16:32Speaker 1: changes that y'all have made. But there's no way that
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm taking my hair weave down. I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron? Yes,
- 16:39Speaker 1: my name is Byron, and I'm sorry. Let's get back
- 16:43Speaker 1: to your weave. This has you're gonna have to do something.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Is there's someone that you can call tonight to help
- 16:48Speaker 1: you get your hair down and so you can look
- 16:50Speaker 1: presentable with your natural hair tomorrow. No, my, we've cast
- 16:53Speaker 1: over two or three hundred dollars and I'm not about
- 16:56Speaker 1: to take that down. I mean, it takes a long
- 16:59Speaker 1: time to take it down. Okay, I mean, is this
- 17:02Speaker 1: something maybe you can take it down and just wear
- 17:04Speaker 1: it on the weekends because as of now, you're not
- 17:07Speaker 1: going to be allowed to actually wear it on the property.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And how will you know if someone has a weave
- 17:12Speaker 1: or not? Are you gonna do head checks or something? Okay, ma'am,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure what they're gonna do to check it.
- 17:19Speaker 1: But by you telling me that you you have a weave,
- 17:23Speaker 1: then I have to write it down that you have
- 17:25Speaker 1: confirmed that you do, and we got to make sure
- 17:27Speaker 1: that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one. But you don't
- 17:30Speaker 1: know what my natural hair looks like from my weave?
- 17:33Speaker 1: Are you heard how much I pay for it? So
- 17:35Speaker 1: it's a good weave, ma'am. It's not about how good
- 17:39Speaker 1: you know the quality of your weave or anything. They
- 17:42Speaker 1: don't want it. They want natural hair. I don't know
- 17:44Speaker 1: what that means. But they're going natural, they're going green,
- 17:47Speaker 1: they're going natural. I don't know what it is. They're
- 17:49Speaker 1: going natural, and so will you. Tomorrow morning. You need
- 17:52Speaker 1: to come in with your hair completely down. Okay, I'm
- 17:55Speaker 1: gonna do it. I'm not taking my weave now. Okay today,
- 17:59Speaker 1: y'all me up or something. Okay, ma'am. Do you not
- 18:02Speaker 1: want your job? Yeah? I want my job, But this
- 18:04Speaker 1: don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance. I
- 18:08Speaker 1: can understand y'all have a dress coach and enforcing a
- 18:10Speaker 1: dress code, that's one thing. But telling somebody to change that.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Have you lost your line? Man? You're crazy. Man, I'm
- 18:18Speaker 1: not gonna I have other people that I have to call.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Bottom line is, get your hat out and get your
- 18:23Speaker 1: butt into work tomorrow and let's not go back and
- 18:26Speaker 1: forth anymore. Okay, well, listen, buy ranch. You're a low mind.
- 18:30Speaker 1: If you're thinking I'm taking my weave out, I'm not
- 18:33Speaker 1: taking out at all. Risa is coming up in there
- 18:37Speaker 1: with her hair and I'm gonna sit down in my
- 18:39Speaker 1: desk and do my job. Y'all gonna have to drag
- 18:41Speaker 1: me out that hand weaves. You lost your mind? You
- 18:45Speaker 1: and your powers that be or whoever they may be.
- 18:48Speaker 1: You tell them that I said that way. Amnute womenute, listen.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Are you telling me that you're coming in regardless with
- 18:54Speaker 1: your hair on? Right? That's what I just said? Are
- 18:59Speaker 1: you then? Then we need to Why don't you go
- 19:01Speaker 1: ahead and bring some boxes in? Because you may I'm
- 19:05Speaker 1: not you bring it, man, I don't want to have
- 19:08Speaker 1: to pack. You get your stuff and box it up,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and you're losing your job because you can't take it.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You know what? You can do that because I'm an
- 19:14Speaker 1: call the news station and tell them you're dragging me
- 19:17Speaker 1: out of go behind some weeds. Who's wrong? You're wrong,
- 19:20Speaker 1: You're wrong, You're stupid? Behind? Are you gonna? You need
- 19:24Speaker 1: to watch your language, young lady? Why I need to
- 19:26Speaker 1: watch my language? I'm at home. You call me on
- 19:28Speaker 1: my own home phone and my time. I'm at my house.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I'm not on your flock. I say what I want
- 19:34Speaker 1: to say on my phone. Okay? Can I say what
- 19:36Speaker 1: I want on my phone and then I'll let you
- 19:38Speaker 1: go and you can come into to work anywhere you
- 19:40Speaker 1: want to tomorrow. What is it, Bob? And what else
- 19:42Speaker 1: you got to say? I want to because I want
- 19:45Speaker 1: to tell you that your girlfriend, Jennifer at your job
- 19:48Speaker 1: got me to plank phone call you. This is Nephew
- 19:52Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Horby Morning Show. What he's just saying,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I know you. This is Nephew Timmy, baby, from the
- 20:02Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Gentlefer, your co worker got me
- 20:05Speaker 1: to prank phone call you. Shot my blood pressure up.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna kill it tomorrow and I'm gonna pull a
- 20:11Speaker 1: hole weave out. You want to come down there and
- 20:13Speaker 1: watch me drank her out of the job. My man,
- 20:18Speaker 1: blood pressure. You can't be doing that to me behind
- 20:20Speaker 1: my weave. I pay too much money. I definitely spend
- 20:23Speaker 1: on my kids. Oh I ain't nothing like a black
- 20:25Speaker 1: woman and her hell Oh man, Okay, baby, I got
- 20:32Speaker 1: one more thing to ask you, girl, What is the
- 20:34Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land. Well,
- 20:40Speaker 1: after this prank, he has to be the Steve Harvey
- 20:43Speaker 1: Morning Show. God, all right, thinking, nephew coming up next,
- 20:51Speaker 1: asked the Cello Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the
- 20:54Speaker 1: building for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:59Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of
- 21:02Speaker 1: the hour. The Black Effect Podcast Network is having its
- 21:06Speaker 1: first life podcasting festival in Atlanta, and we'll tell you
- 21:10Speaker 1: how to get tickets for it. It's a Creed three weekend, LATEES, LATEES, LATEES.
- 21:16Speaker 1: As an f you used to say, it's a Creed
- 21:18Speaker 1: three weekend, And we'll tell you why we're so excited
- 21:21Speaker 1: about the movie. Also, Michael Irvin gets a small victory
- 21:25Speaker 1: in his case, you know, the one and the Marriott
- 21:28Speaker 1: Hotel last month. We'll talk about it all at the
- 21:31Speaker 1: top of the hour, but right now it is time
- 21:34Speaker 1: to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in
- 21:38Speaker 1: the building ready for your love questions. This one's from
- 21:41Speaker 1: mal in Corpus Christie. Mal says, my husband has a
- 21:45Speaker 1: daughter from his past marriage, from his first marriage, and
- 21:48Speaker 1: she lives two hours away. He goes to visit and
- 21:51Speaker 1: stays at his ex wife's house to hang out with
- 21:53Speaker 1: his daughter. Why won't he file for joint custody so
- 21:57Speaker 1: his daughter can come visit at our house? Well? How
- 22:00Speaker 1: old is his daughter? Um? They don't say he does not.
- 22:05Speaker 1: They don't say, well, the real problem that she got
- 22:08Speaker 1: is he over there standing at the house. Yeah, And
- 22:12Speaker 1: that is it. And I know that's a problem, and
- 22:14Speaker 1: I can understand that he should try to file for
- 22:17Speaker 1: joint customs so he could have visitation rights with his daughter.
- 22:21Speaker 1: He seems like a good man. That would be the
- 22:23Speaker 1: logical thing to do instead of him going there all
- 22:25Speaker 1: the time. But now I also want you to understand
- 22:28Speaker 1: that sometimes, not all the time, Sometimes women use children
- 22:32Speaker 1: as a pawn, and so this could be a way
- 22:36Speaker 1: to force him to have to drive two down and
- 22:39Speaker 1: two back, trying to inconvenience him out of spite because
- 22:43Speaker 1: he got showed. You want to see your daughter, you come.
- 22:46Speaker 1: See how I'm not sending over that. Over that health
- 22:49Speaker 1: of house that happens him all the time. Is he
- 22:54Speaker 1: sleeping with the act? None of your business. Don't even
- 23:03Speaker 1: try it. But he could stay at a hotel, all right.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Moving on to A Daniel and Evanston. Daniel says, my
- 23:14Speaker 1: wife told me she had dinner with a friend that
- 23:16Speaker 1: was having marital problems. I assumed it was a female
- 23:19Speaker 1: until I saw the receipt had two lemon drops on
- 23:23Speaker 1: it and three glasses of scotch. I didn't know women
- 23:26Speaker 1: drank scotch. If she was if she was out with
- 23:29Speaker 1: the man, why didn't she pay for the drinks? Should
- 23:32Speaker 1: I confront my wife or not? Hell yeah? Let say something?
- 23:36Speaker 1: Hell yeah? Because who're dranking all this scott now in
- 23:40Speaker 1: hand Scotch before. I don't know too many women drank
- 23:44Speaker 1: scott Oh. That takes some different type of taste. Birds Ever,
- 23:49Speaker 1: it's an acquired taste, Sally. I can assure you that
- 23:52Speaker 1: it is not delicious at heart. It's like the first
- 23:58Speaker 1: time you eat yoga. Did anybody really like yoga the
- 24:03Speaker 1: first time? Not really? But do you remember when Danien
- 24:09Speaker 1: came out and they had the fruit on the bottom
- 24:10Speaker 1: and you learn how to deal with it. You know,
- 24:13Speaker 1: y'all always got to put something on yoga. So if
- 24:16Speaker 1: she was out with the man, why didn't he paid
- 24:18Speaker 1: for their drink? The bigger question is what you're doing
- 24:21Speaker 1: out with him? Mane. That's my whole problem. You're damn
- 24:24Speaker 1: who are you? I can tell you about the friendship,
- 24:28Speaker 1: and if you don't confront your wife, your ass BA
- 24:30Speaker 1: skills is shot. I'm gonna say something, But he need
- 24:37Speaker 1: to talk to you for here. You're having troubled in
- 24:39Speaker 1: your manage right now? All this damn Scotch on this bill,
- 24:42Speaker 1: that's what you gotta y'all gonna have to talk about
- 24:46Speaker 1: that at the neck from gonna be you gonna have
- 24:47Speaker 1: the three limon drops and he gonna have a one scotch. Yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 1: you're gonna be drinking more your favorite drink. You could
- 24:53Speaker 1: going down that him all right? Moving on to Octavia
- 24:58Speaker 1: in Low Country, Octavia says, I've been married for two
- 25:01Speaker 1: years and living with my husband is sheer. Hell. He's
- 25:04Speaker 1: got an obsessive compulsive thing going on that I can't
- 25:07Speaker 1: put a pencil down without him snatching it up angrily.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Forget counseling. I want out. What should I tell him?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Get out? Oh? Get out? Go, get you some paperwork.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Two years of living hell, don't do this to yourself.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Get out. He got a problem. If you set a
- 25:26Speaker 1: pencil down, he snatched it up. He got O C
- 25:28Speaker 1: D C at D C O eight, he got all that.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Then he got a eight, he got all that. Yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 1: well what about till death to his part? That's I'll
- 25:51Speaker 1: get you some paperwork. Yeah I ain't. Don't tell him nothing.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Get you some damn paperwork. Get you a place to
- 25:59Speaker 1: go when you go to work. Don't go back down
- 26:01Speaker 1: that head and paper sent to the house okay, man
- 26:06Speaker 1: certificate and it does he first two years as hell
- 26:10Speaker 1: and a restraining order. You can draw one up. You
- 26:14Speaker 1: draw one up. No, that guy come from the corner's office. Time.
- 26:19Speaker 1: You can get one off the internet. But y'all don't
- 26:21Speaker 1: know how to kill y'allself. I don't know why y'all
- 26:23Speaker 1: don't know how to do this. Yeah, you are the
- 26:25Speaker 1: expert on the show. Wow, wow, Yeah, you're right time.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I ain't never thought about it. No, alright, moving on,
- 26:38Speaker 1: this is our last one step something. The last time
- 26:43Speaker 1: I was in college, I was dating this girl and
- 26:45Speaker 1: she was breaking up with me and I was looking
- 26:47Speaker 1: she sad. She said, I know you look have a
- 26:50Speaker 1: look like it's over for you, and you know, are
- 26:54Speaker 1: you okay? Because you look like you want to take
- 26:57Speaker 1: yourself out. I looked at how it went, kill myself.
- 27:01Speaker 1: She said, Yeah, I got about you. You went that
- 27:05Speaker 1: damn fires your damn. I kill myself by what you
- 27:12Speaker 1: didn't give me nothing, No way, Hell, I'm gonna kill myself.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Then I'll start finding stuff wrong with you, gapping your
- 27:19Speaker 1: teeth and everything. You started picking her apart, he said.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I said, some real hoods that need to press your
- 27:28Speaker 1: hair and That's really what I liked about it. She
- 27:34Speaker 1: had a natural froat. That's what I really liked about.
- 27:36Speaker 1: But then when she picked me off, I said to myself,
- 27:39Speaker 1: Y'll press your hair all right. Last one baby, and
- 27:44Speaker 1: Rocksborough says, my wife thinks she's a motivational speaker and
- 27:49Speaker 1: she makes videos every day to motivates her three hundred followers.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I hope she makes it big one day. But in
- 27:57Speaker 1: the meantime, how do I get her to get off
- 28:00Speaker 1: social media and get a real job so she can
- 28:02Speaker 1: help pay bills? I don't know, man, You know, once
- 28:08Speaker 1: they think that, ya, I've met more life coaches. Man.
- 28:15Speaker 1: He was a dude in an audience the other day
- 28:17Speaker 1: in family feude. You know, I take questions on commercial
- 28:20Speaker 1: break and I asked the dude, I said, man, what
- 28:22Speaker 1: do you do? He said, well, I do this type
- 28:25Speaker 1: of work to raise money. Sometimes I do audience work.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I said, okay, a lot of people do that, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 1: And you know I'm a personal trainer. You know. Had
- 28:35Speaker 1: a little stomach on himself. Knew that wasn't going good.
- 28:38Speaker 1: And then I said, it's what else should do? He said,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'm a life coach. I got real quiet, and you
- 28:46Speaker 1: can see that all the black people in the crowd
- 28:48Speaker 1: stop putting their hand over their mouth because I was
- 28:50Speaker 1: just looking at it. You're sitting in the audience making
- 28:54Speaker 1: sentified all of them. You're a personal trainer with a
- 28:56Speaker 1: big stomach. Yeah, who who have you convinced that you
- 29:01Speaker 1: should be? Coach life? Seventy five dollars a date. Hate
- 29:08Speaker 1: of the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment
- 29:11Speaker 1: life coaching down at a shelter where right these people
- 29:15Speaker 1: that's looking up to you, you're listening to show. The
- 29:22Speaker 1: Black Effect Podcast Network is a partnership between iHeartRadio and
- 29:26Speaker 1: radio host Charlemagne. It is goal standard for black creators
- 29:31Speaker 1: to raise their voices and be heard in the podcast
- 29:33Speaker 1: game well. Next month, the first ever Live Black Effect
- 29:37Speaker 1: Podcast Festival will be held at Pullman Yards in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 29:42Speaker 1: It's a one day event of live podcast tapings featuring

- 29:50Speaker 1: Checking In with Michelle Williams. Panel discussions will include chat Oubrey,
- 29:55Speaker 1: the eighty five South, comedian Jess Hilarious, and social justice
- 29:59Speaker 1: ad kid Tamka Mallory, among others. There will be a
- 30:03Speaker 1: black owned business marketplace and a career corner too. This
- 30:07Speaker 1: all goes down on Saturday, April twenty seconds in Atlanta
- 30:11Speaker 1: and tickets are on sale right now go to black
- 30:14Speaker 1: Effect dot com. I have two podcasts that I want
- 30:21Speaker 1: to do. M I want to do Shannon Shop's podcasts.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I want to do eighty five South Sir nice and
- 30:33Speaker 1: I just say the podcast. But you know what my
- 30:38Speaker 1: dream interview is really what bread? The breakfast club? Oh
- 30:44Speaker 1: oh the breakfast club. Oh that's fun for you, Steve. Yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 1: I just love I love art. Well, that's easy fire. Yeah,
- 30:57Speaker 1: you go on that. Yeah, you show. You know, I
- 31:05Speaker 1: think it's always a problem when you go over to
- 31:08Speaker 1: a competitive show which is not a competitor of ours.
- 31:11Speaker 1: We're sister show. Yeah, and they are hip hop show.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I know they're gonna have a problem with it in
- 31:17Speaker 1: a certain city, and so you know, I was just
- 31:21Speaker 1: throwing it out there because it's gonna happens up. You know,
- 31:28Speaker 1: I'm giving the city of heads up because it's just
- 31:31Speaker 1: some things I want to do because I'm a proponent
- 31:34Speaker 1: of whatever God has for you. He has for you,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and nobody can take that away. And just because you
- 31:40Speaker 1: bring your shine to somebody else's it don't deaden yours.
- 31:44Speaker 1: And that's the one thing about the radio community that
- 31:47Speaker 1: I've never cared for is the competition that's created amongst
- 31:51Speaker 1: radio stations, because I understand you want to be number one,
- 31:54Speaker 1: but you ain't got to throw shade like we don't
- 31:56Speaker 1: throw shade on the station. We just don't, you know,
- 32:00Speaker 1: we hit. And if you don't think we're going to
- 32:02Speaker 1: watch them, go listen to somebody else you do, you
- 32:05Speaker 1: can come back, you know. And I don't know what
- 32:08Speaker 1: you'd be saying, Monica, all them in a cute faces
- 32:10Speaker 1: you'd be making. I don't even because Monica is a
- 32:12Speaker 1: morning show producer, right and sometimes Monica will be on
- 32:16Speaker 1: the zoom and she would be lip talking like we
- 32:19Speaker 1: posted to know what she's doing, you know, And don't
- 32:21Speaker 1: nobody know what she's doing because I don't know how
- 32:23Speaker 1: to read your lip because you don't talk. She would
- 32:28Speaker 1: what is she saying? Because Carlin? I know what Carlin said,
- 32:31Speaker 1: because she's very expressionable. Her eyes get big and is
- 32:34Speaker 1: usually shut your ass up. And I know what Daddy
- 32:37Speaker 1: is usually That's why I said he knows nothing. See,
- 32:48Speaker 1: you need to learn these titles around him, well, when
- 32:50Speaker 1: I when I want to take off or something like that.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Who I call? I don't know. I don't know, because
- 32:58Speaker 1: we find out very late. Who do you call? Lord?
- 33:03Speaker 1: Who do you call? Myself? A? Right? Huh? All right,
- 33:10Speaker 1: so be off tomorrow for an emergency. Thank you. We
- 33:15Speaker 1: gotta get to these next two stories. Fellows. You can
- 33:18Speaker 1: take a little break here because Carlin and I can
- 33:20Speaker 1: handle this one. Thank you very much. We cannot wait
- 33:23Speaker 1: for this day to come. Let's just say that Carla
- 33:26Speaker 1: Creed three is in theaters nationwide today. Okay. It is
- 33:32Speaker 1: Women's History Month, all right, so we're doing all of
- 33:35Speaker 1: that right now. We've seen the trailers the movie premiere
- 33:39Speaker 1: in Hollywood. We saw the stars of the movie on
- 33:41Speaker 1: The Sherry Show on Wednesday of this week. They're on
- 33:45Speaker 1: magazine covers. Have you seen it, Carla? I know you have. Girl.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the movie, but I'm just I
- 33:51Speaker 1: think I just want to see the fight scenes, don't
- 33:58Speaker 1: We don't care fight and we're going it's a girl's night. Okay,
- 34:04Speaker 1: we're going by ourselves. Um, they're shirtless all throughout the movie,
- 34:08Speaker 1: so that's a great thing. Carla, they're shirtless. You cannot wait.
- 34:14Speaker 1: He told him. You know, I told him, you know,
- 34:19Speaker 1: wouldn't quite You know, you could be a good color man,
- 34:22Speaker 1: cut band, be a good con man. Everything you can't do.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna be boxing. What so I'm a bomba box?
- 34:34Speaker 1: You better be shadow boxing. That's what you better in
- 34:37Speaker 1: this movie. This is not a game. Have you seen
- 34:43Speaker 1: forty years ago, forty five years ago with both of
- 34:48Speaker 1: them for five years they act as Steve. Yeah, I
- 34:52Speaker 1: know that. That's why I know I whipped the as
- 35:01Speaker 1: I put hands on forty five years ago. Right now,
- 35:05Speaker 1: I'm just sitting If they're just taking ass for daddy, damn,
- 35:10Speaker 1: they ain't blocking nothing. You got one more left. You're
- 35:16Speaker 1: exactly right about that. I got one more good when
- 35:18Speaker 1: I don't want to use it though I don't don't. No,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I ain't gonna waste it. I'm saving it for my
- 35:26Speaker 1: daughters or my wife. Huh yeah, No, I'm not textual
- 35:32Speaker 1: to help them. I'm gonna saving it for my daughters
- 35:35Speaker 1: or my wife. So back to Creed three. Anyways, today,
- 35:43Speaker 1: I cain't even have a b right, we hear y'all.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Y'all coming up in twenty minutes after the hour Junior
- 35:53Speaker 1: is here with a poem for us right after this
- 35:55Speaker 1: you're listening show, all right, it is Men's History Month,
- 36:01Speaker 1: and Junior is here with the poem. Steve please introduce you. Yeah,
- 36:05Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Jay Rapp, which is na acronym,
- 36:10Speaker 1: simply means Junior's raggedy ass points. Man. I know when
- 36:14Speaker 1: you say that, Man, I love when you say that. Well,
- 36:20Speaker 1: it's Women's History Month. We have three beautiful ladies that
- 36:22Speaker 1: work on the show. They work hard. Talk about Shirley
- 36:25Speaker 1: calling Monica. You know, we've got to honor them because
- 36:28Speaker 1: it's women History Month. So here it is the title
- 36:30Speaker 1: of this poem. He had put a lot of thought
- 36:31Speaker 1: into it, Women's History Month, because that's what it is. Yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 1: that's it. That is right there. I mean, I just
- 36:38Speaker 1: this way it came out. Here we go marches Women's
- 36:41Speaker 1: History Month. Whoa without women, that would be no me
- 36:45Speaker 1: or you or you or you. Women are the backbone
- 36:48Speaker 1: of all this mess and the reason some men have
- 36:51Speaker 1: a lot of stress. Now wait, men's stress women out too,
- 36:55Speaker 1: but don't have a men's History Month, So that's not cool.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Nobody ever thought about giving me in some praise the
- 37:01Speaker 1: only thing men have is father damn day. But I'm
- 37:04Speaker 1: gonna stop hating because I have a great wife and
- 37:07Speaker 1: she has greatly improved my entire life. I'm talking about dressing,
- 37:10Speaker 1: for one. That's the first thing she changed right there
- 37:13Speaker 1: on me. Happy Women Month, Happy Women's History Moth to
- 37:15Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Nation, because all y'all, hard working women
- 37:18Speaker 1: deserve a standing ovation the end. Wow, well, I'm telling
- 37:21Speaker 1: you right now, that's going down in history. I told
- 37:24Speaker 1: y'all that, I told y'all I want to apologize to
- 37:26Speaker 1: the women there. What poem wasn't even bout y'all it was.
- 37:32Speaker 1: It was about women's history. Man, Wait a minute, mister Harvest,
- 37:37Speaker 1: they're just looking outside your head. Worst damp point you
- 37:40Speaker 1: never wrote, you changed. I can't believe you named it
- 37:43Speaker 1: after women. It is. It is history month. Thank you.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I don't know if my angel would have liked us
- 37:48Speaker 1: when I don't know you know what mine Angelo ain't me.
- 37:51Speaker 1: So that's that's that's that's the first problem you got
- 37:54Speaker 1: right there. Thank you for that. After that you mentioned
- 38:00Speaker 1: in the calle do you say thank you for the
- 38:01Speaker 1: effort I did? Because you know what you mentioned men
- 38:07Speaker 1: and why men didn't. I started it always about men, right,
- 38:11Speaker 1: and then you started talking about how you got your
- 38:14Speaker 1: clothes and wardrobe that I was just letting you know,
- 38:18Speaker 1: my wife has improved my life. First of all, the
- 38:20Speaker 1: way I addressed it's better. Hey man, you can stop
- 38:22Speaker 1: explaining this raggety part. Stop. It's really it's was every
- 38:28Speaker 1: bit of Jay Rapp on this one. I'm telling you
- 38:30Speaker 1: right now this morning, right along with sharing as you
- 38:34Speaker 1: over here with me, see what I think you made
- 38:39Speaker 1: it up on the fly. Well you know what I
- 38:41Speaker 1: may have. But the point I'm saying is it's going
- 38:43Speaker 1: down in Women's History Month. You freestyle and I just
- 38:47Speaker 1: I've just put it together you. I'm telling you it's
- 38:49Speaker 1: going down to Women's History Month. Along with Women's history
- 38:52Speaker 1: this poem, we'll be there. Don't don't do nothing for
- 38:54Speaker 1: men's History Month. We don't want I said that in
- 38:58Speaker 1: the poem. If he was listening to it is no
- 39:00Speaker 1: man's history. But I just said that it never will be.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Thank you. Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:07Speaker 1: Roscoe Wallace is back right after this. You're listening to
- 39:14Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, ladies and gentlemen, we
- 39:18Speaker 1: have the well on him. He is here, the one
- 39:21Speaker 1: and only. We're going on everybody knowing you don't know

- 44:23Speaker 1: self explain not necessarily nurse plus supern's what she got
- 44:30Speaker 1: them white stock is and that white short white nurse
- 44:33Speaker 1: out that right, come out of the nineteen fifties. They
- 44:37Speaker 1: don't make nurses like they just I'm talking right, Yes
- 44:40Speaker 1: they do. They're just don't wear the same right. When
- 44:43Speaker 1: I was in the hospital, that's what I was looking for.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I wanted that. But they helped you get better, though,
- 44:48Speaker 1: didn't they whatever they were wearing up? Yeah? Yes, I
- 44:53Speaker 1: had a m name Ryan. Okay, right, all right, it's
- 44:57Speaker 1: time for the prank phone call now with the crazy.
- 45:00Speaker 1: See nephew, what you got for is now mark comb
- 45:03Speaker 1: and brush your dog if you would. Hello, Hello, I'm
- 45:09Speaker 1: trying to reach mister yeah this Hey listen, my name Sean.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Uh did you up? A Auncor had passed away named Yeah?
- 45:21Speaker 1: All right here your uncle right, yeah, that's my uncle.
- 45:23Speaker 1: We were at him about three and a half months ago. Right.
- 45:26Speaker 1: What reason why I was calling was I'm the person
- 45:30Speaker 1: that actually cut your uncor hair when he passed away. Okay,
- 45:35Speaker 1: So the reason why I was calling is, uh, the
- 45:39Speaker 1: situation is when I cut his hair. And I know
- 45:42Speaker 1: you don't know the history about me, but my daddy
- 45:45Speaker 1: and my granddadd was bab us. We all babus. Okay,
- 45:48Speaker 1: get you come on, bro, get down to the bob
- 45:50Speaker 1: because you try my my uncle. Man, I'm trying to
- 45:52Speaker 1: see what's going on forever, okay, And I'm sorry to
- 45:55Speaker 1: call you like this, but what I'm telling you is
- 45:57Speaker 1: that my granddad and my daddy, they had passed down
- 46:00Speaker 1: a brush and a comb to me. Okay, that's like
- 46:04Speaker 1: a tenimental value, okay, But for the for the last
- 46:09Speaker 1: two to three months, I ain't been able to find
- 46:12Speaker 1: the comb and the brush that I used what I
- 46:16Speaker 1: had cut in now, okay, So okay, And what I
- 46:20Speaker 1: was trying to call and tell you is it that
- 46:22Speaker 1: I can't find it. And I'm almost certain what I'm
- 46:26Speaker 1: trying to tell you what I'm gonna kid, what many
- 46:28Speaker 1: kids school? So so what can I do? You find? Comb? Brother? Father?
- 46:32Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. When I did miss have and
- 46:35Speaker 1: edged it up at the funeral home, that's the last
- 46:37Speaker 1: time I remember having it, dude, three months so right right,
- 46:41Speaker 1: it's about three months ago. What I'm trying to say
- 46:44Speaker 1: is I left the comb and brush and you know what,
- 46:47Speaker 1: went to the funeral home and did his hair, Okay.
- 46:50Speaker 1: And I talked to the funeral home and they told
- 46:53Speaker 1: me that you know, if I'm trying to find a
- 46:55Speaker 1: comba bro. I gotta get permission. What code is the
- 46:58Speaker 1: coma brush was the love comba that both from black,
- 47:02Speaker 1: the comb and black, and you got all kind of
- 47:05Speaker 1: combs that black and go man, no, no, See what
- 47:09Speaker 1: I'm saying is the comban brush is black, and I
- 47:11Speaker 1: know I lost it, but I'm almost certain about where
- 47:15Speaker 1: it is. Okay, So if you're certain about where it is,
- 47:18Speaker 1: why you call it. That's the reason why I'm calling you,
- 47:20Speaker 1: because I'm almost certainly out left it with him. You're
- 47:24Speaker 1: listening with my then, so I called funeral. They told
- 47:28Speaker 1: me I need to call you in order to get
- 47:30Speaker 1: permission to get it. Ohka, you call funeral, get permission
- 47:35Speaker 1: from me that you can go get the coman brush
- 47:37Speaker 1: from where the funeral. When you can go down there,
- 47:40Speaker 1: let's say, god, no, no, no, I see the comban
- 47:44Speaker 1: brush ain't with the funeral. The comb and brush is
- 47:47Speaker 1: in there with your uncle. The comb and brush in
- 47:53Speaker 1: the can. You got to say that again. What what
- 47:56Speaker 1: I'm trying to say to you is that the combe
- 47:58Speaker 1: in brush And I'm trying to say and just say
- 48:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying it the comb and brush is in
- 48:04Speaker 1: the casket with your uncle. Since then, lad is six
- 48:09Speaker 1: feet Let's see. See. What I'm trying to say is
- 48:12Speaker 1: that the comban, brother is sentimental value to me. Bro,
- 48:16Speaker 1: it couldn't have been too value. But if you lost it,
- 48:18Speaker 1: what now what it was got value? You know my work?
- 48:22Speaker 1: So I just really got caught up in my work.
- 48:25Speaker 1: If you talk about tiller left with my uncle that
- 48:28Speaker 1: did three months ago. Man, what color is you talking about? Brother? All,
- 48:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to do what you would see if if
- 48:34Speaker 1: you don't mind, approven for them to brain the body
- 48:38Speaker 1: up so I can get the comb and brush. You
- 48:42Speaker 1: know what's he invited for Comba. But see, but what
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain it this sentimental value. I'm trying
- 48:49Speaker 1: to get y'all the brain the body so I can
- 48:51Speaker 1: get my comb and brush out. Ever, because like I say,
- 48:54Speaker 1: my dad and my granddadd was bo this whole thing
- 48:57Speaker 1: is sentimentally. You're talking about my dead uncle, man, you
- 49:00Speaker 1: talking about bringing him up out of the ground for comb. Man,
- 49:03Speaker 1: I just got these to start crying around here, and
- 49:06Speaker 1: and I understand what y'all going through as as a
- 49:09Speaker 1: family and stuff. She Now I'm trying to get my
- 49:12Speaker 1: combing and how are you trying to go about doing
- 49:14Speaker 1: this all? Throw it off on boy, because ain't nobody
- 49:16Speaker 1: digging up, nobody to bring back no no brush. Man,
- 49:19Speaker 1: Then you'll got me tissed off now, mane because you're
- 49:22Speaker 1: calling me talking stupid Mane you talk, I put on
- 49:24Speaker 1: my mom hunkle man. That's man that's got to give
- 49:26Speaker 1: me a look. Man, I ain't trying to start no,
- 49:28Speaker 1: because you're talking about comban brush. Man, I don't but
- 49:31Speaker 1: I understand all that. But this is a sentimental value, man.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Sentimental to me, man, just something that my people listen.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Sentimental to me. Okay, tell of my favorite uncle. Man. Okay,
- 49:41Speaker 1: you talking about putting up this body? Man, I got
- 49:43Speaker 1: pall boy. Hey man, man, I'm I don't want to
- 49:47Speaker 1: you give me because my care and that's long. Man.
- 49:49Speaker 1: You shouldn't know how you got pretty mane if we

- 53:45Speaker 1: It is bro very letter. Thank you nephew. Subject she
- 53:49Speaker 1: is more than his nurse. Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband
- 53:53Speaker 1: and I have been together for twenty seven years total,
- 53:56Speaker 1: and we have two grown children that live elsewhere. For
- 54:00Speaker 1: months ago, my father in law, who we call pop Pop,
- 54:03Speaker 1: started showing signs of short term memory laws, so we
- 54:06Speaker 1: decided that he would stay with us during the week
- 54:09Speaker 1: and go home on weekends. He is married to a
- 54:11Speaker 1: younger woman that we don't trust him with, so since
- 54:15Speaker 1: I work from home. I have been watching Pop Pop
- 54:17Speaker 1: during the day and my husband watches out for him
- 54:20Speaker 1: at night. His wife, Nina, is almost twenty years younger
- 54:24Speaker 1: than him, and she is acting like we are responsible
- 54:27Speaker 1: for Pop Pop and he has not been back and
- 54:30Speaker 1: he has not been back home and over a month
- 54:32Speaker 1: we fixed up the basement for him so he can
- 54:35Speaker 1: have space and be somewhat independent. Acute young home healthcare
- 54:40Speaker 1: nurse comes by twice a week to check up on
- 54:43Speaker 1: Pop Pop and he calls her his angel. My husband
- 54:48Speaker 1: takes him to the ATM every week so he'll have
- 54:51Speaker 1: cash for her. We told him that he doesn't have
- 54:53Speaker 1: to pay her or tip her, but he loves giving
- 54:56Speaker 1: her money. Yesterday, the nurse was in the basement and
- 55:00Speaker 1: I heard them giggling. Then the TV was turned up
- 55:03Speaker 1: really loud. Then I heard a lot of water running.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Later that night, I asked Pop Pop what he and
- 55:09Speaker 1: his angel did earlier, and he smiled, which let me
- 55:12Speaker 1: know his short term memory isn't that bad. I asked
- 55:16Speaker 1: if she touched him, and he said that she rubbed
- 55:18Speaker 1: a warm towel over his body to clean him off,
- 55:21Speaker 1: and he really enjoyed it. He didn't need his body
- 55:25Speaker 1: to clean. He didn't need his body to clean him off.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I mean, I mean he didn't need to be clean
- 55:31Speaker 1: because he bathes daily. So I told my husband that
- 55:34Speaker 1: some funny business is going on with pop Pop and Angel.
- 55:37Speaker 1: He told me that pop Pop is grown. I don't
- 55:40Speaker 1: like this at all. Is pop Pop getting more than
- 55:43Speaker 1: what's prescribed? What if he's paying Angel for sex? I
- 55:50Speaker 1: don't know if that's going on. I just know that
- 55:53Speaker 1: your husband is right, pop Pop is grown. The only problem,
- 55:57Speaker 1: it seems is that he no longer has never had
- 56:00Speaker 1: short term memory loss because it seems to be clearing
- 56:04Speaker 1: up now. He remembers Angel very well. He remembers what
- 56:08Speaker 1: to do with her. He remembers and looks forward to
- 56:12Speaker 1: paying her every time she visits. He remembers to go
- 56:15Speaker 1: to the ATM to get the money. The only person
- 56:19Speaker 1: he doesn't act like he cares about now is his
- 56:22Speaker 1: much younger wife, and she doesn't act like she cares
- 56:25Speaker 1: about him. The feeling is mutual because she left him
- 56:29Speaker 1: over there with you and his son, and I got
- 56:31Speaker 1: to say that was very thoughtful and kind of you
- 56:34Speaker 1: two to look after his dad like this. So since
- 56:37Speaker 1: he looks like he's doing better, you should get him
- 56:41Speaker 1: checked out by a doctor. Perhaps he might be ready
- 56:43Speaker 1: to go back home, or he might be ready to
- 56:46Speaker 1: be a single man or something. Get with Angel, you
- 56:49Speaker 1: never know. You need to check him out because things
- 56:52Speaker 1: have changed. Things have changed since you first thought he
- 56:56Speaker 1: had short term memory loss. And you know, if that
- 56:59Speaker 1: is the case, he can deal with his wife face
- 57:01Speaker 1: to face and figure out if they still have a marriage. Steve,
- 57:04Speaker 1: there ain't nothing wrong in this letter. This is a
- 57:10Speaker 1: letter about joy, This is a letter about grace, This
- 57:17Speaker 1: is a letter about just love. It. It's just so
- 57:21Speaker 1: many good things in this letter. Let me walk you
- 57:24Speaker 1: through the upside, folks, of what's happening in Pop Pop's life? Now?
- 57:30Speaker 1: Is she more than his nurse? Number one? That ain't
- 57:34Speaker 1: your damn buses? And number two? I hope he eats. Now,
- 57:44Speaker 1: let's go. My husband and I've been together twenty seven
- 57:46Speaker 1: years and we got two grown children there somewhere else.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Four months ago, my father in law, we call pop Pop,
- 57:52Speaker 1: started showing signs of short term memory laws. That's a
- 57:56Speaker 1: sign of either Alzheimer's or de matcham one of the two.
- 58:00Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I'm not qualified. So we decided that
- 58:03Speaker 1: he would stay with us doing the week and go
- 58:06Speaker 1: home on weekends. Well, he's married to a younger woman
- 58:11Speaker 1: and we don't trust him with So since I worked
- 58:16Speaker 1: from home, I've been watching Pop Pop doing the day
- 58:21Speaker 1: and my husband watch out for him tonight. He got
- 58:24Speaker 1: a wife named Nina that's twenty years younger than he,
- 58:27Speaker 1: and she is acting like we're responsible for Pop Pop.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Well you are. You asked him to move into your
- 58:33Speaker 1: house doing the week and go home on the weekends.
- 58:36Speaker 1: She ain't acting like you responsible. You took on that
- 58:39Speaker 1: responsibility and add more thing to do because obviously Pop
- 58:43Speaker 1: Pop has served his family well and he got some
- 58:47Speaker 1: medical challenges now and y'all stepping up to the plate,
- 58:50Speaker 1: thank you. And he ain't been back home and over more,
- 58:53Speaker 1: Pop Papa ain't going back over there. Pop Papa know
- 58:56Speaker 1: where to love? Is pop Papa old enough to know
- 58:58Speaker 1: who loved him and who don't? Now, Pappap ain't been
- 59:02Speaker 1: home in a month, So y'all fix up the basement
- 59:05Speaker 1: so he could have space and be somewhat independent. All
- 59:09Speaker 1: of a sudden, the cute young healthcare nurse come back
- 59:11Speaker 1: twice and we check up on Pop Pap. He calls
- 59:14Speaker 1: her his angel. Let's talk right there. He calls her
- 59:18Speaker 1: my angel. Most nurses are angels. Nurses are some of
- 59:24Speaker 1: the kindest people in the world. And the more kind
- 59:27Speaker 1: you are as a nurse, the bet it is off
- 59:29Speaker 1: for the patient. And I think Papa to found an angel.
- 59:34Speaker 1: And when we come back, we're gonna find out what
- 59:36Speaker 1: the angel did the papa that the maid. Papa not
- 59:40Speaker 1: take his ass back home. Papa got washed launch all right, Steven,
- 59:51Speaker 1: hang on at a mean listening to this letter right now.
- 59:53Speaker 1: I want to know where his nursing agency at twenty
- 59:59Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, we'll come back and recap
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is she's more than his nurse.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: We'll be back with her two Steve's response right after this.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is she is
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: more than his nurse. Well, it's Lak been married twenty
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: seven years to her husband. They've had two grown children
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: that had been moved off his father Pop. Pop has
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: been having some challenges short term memory loss, which could
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: be early size of dementia or Alzheimer's, not really sure
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: about that, but you all decided to have him come
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: live with y'all during the weekend, go home on the
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: weekend because he's married to a younger woman named Nita,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: and that's twenty years younger than him. Now, he came
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: over to the house, y'all fix up the basement so
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: he could be independent. But he ain't went home in
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a month. Naw, you say that Nina, the wife that's
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: twenty years younger, is act like y'all that's y'all's responsibility. Well,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: y'all volunteered for pap Papa to come live with y'all
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: for the week. You took on the responsibility. You released
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the young girl. So now she says she acted like
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: it's y'all's because y'all took it on. Now, Papa ain't
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: been at home in a month. And why has he not?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Because he got an in home care nurse that comes
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: by two weeks, two days out the week. And guess
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: what Papa called her his angel, And most nurses are angels.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Nurses are really some of the most important people at
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: the hospital because of what they want to take care
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: of the patience. The doctor just rolled through and see
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: everybody in nine there, but that nurse and nurse can
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: make your life bearable in that hospital, so they are angels. No,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: now let's find out why why he want to call her?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Your husband takes pop Pop to the ATM machine every week,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: so he had cash for her. We told him he
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: don't have to pay herb or tip, but he loves
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: giving her money. You don't understand what's happening. I got
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: this young health care nurse coming by. She fine, I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: got money. What I'm gonna do with I can't take
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: it with me? So why would I not bless her?
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Pap Bapa, I'm gonna bless this young girl. I can't
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: take this money with me. You see, I got short
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: term memory, loves, so I might must round and forget
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: this pen dumb and can't get another of this money out.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: So while I can't remember, let me go down here
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and shake a few dollars. Do so on this little
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: fine thing. Yesterday, the nurse was in the basement. I
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: heard them giggling, well, Lee, she ain't a music. Then
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: the TV got turned up really loud, because that giggling
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to turn into something else. You don't need to hear this.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Then I heard a lot of water running. I caught
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Dawn Brian the sink. You ain't never been put up
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: on the sank before. Don't say you ain't, because I
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: know you had. What you didn't got up on this?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Oh you get up on that sak and run that water,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: splash it up on your back waters happening. First of all,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: you know what the waterfalls zancing. It ain't a sak
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: when you up there and it's popping, Ye, it's a saint.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: It's a sink. Girl. Now y'all have heard this water
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: splash and you're trying to figure out it. Later that night,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I asked Pop Pop what he and Miss Angel did early,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and he smiled, Hey, yeah, he's smiling, which let me
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: know his short term memory ain't that bad. How are
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: you gonna forget that? It was just this afternoon we
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: was up on the sake running water. I was splashing
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: it on her backside while she was sitting on this saint.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: We turned the TV up so you wouldn't hit the
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: splashing and the snacking sound. Now, I asked him she
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: touched him and he said he rubbed up with a
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: warm towel over his body to clean him off. Because
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: then she come to him out and he really enjoyed it.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: He didn't need to be cleaned off because he bathed daily. Yeah,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: but when they was up on that saint splash and
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: that water while Pop Pap was sweating, so you gotta
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: rub him off to get all this sweat off Pop
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Papa because Pop Papa and you know I ain't gonna
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: lost say you can't get rubbed down in water more
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: than once a day. Pop Pop just in there just
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: getting handled, and that little nurse doing what she do,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: getting that little extra change with them tips what I
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: told my husband, I think some funny business going on
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: with Pop Papa and Angel. He told me Pop Pap
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: grown and he is he his daddy. I don't like
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: this at all. You just a hater. Yeah, when your husband,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: come on, watch y'all turn the TV of live, you
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: get up on the sink watch this. I think it's
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Pop Pap getting more than what's prescribed. How do you
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: know what to give to a man? You ain't no nurse.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: She's an angel and she's given Pop Papa something to remember,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: warm baths and stuff. And I got some friends that's
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: just in my age boot and half them in badass shape.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Could you please email me the name of this nurs
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: ages so I can send it to my friend so
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: they can sign up. What if he's paying an angel
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: for sex girl? What if he pay an angel for
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: six so not so he can't take her to dinner y'all?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And took the cocky so the wine and died in
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: his out. So I wash your body, you wash mine.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: You me down in some hot oils, baby, and I'll
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: dude the same thing to you. All right, Um, turn
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: on the water. Leave us your comments on today's TV
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: on Instagram at Steve Harvey and them and check out
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the strawberry that hot time. Coming up next is a
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: sports talk with Junior right after this. You're listening, all right, Junior.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Before we get into sports, just tell us how your
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: sickle cell Awareness podcast is going. Oh man, Living your
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Life is doing great. Man, I got a great guest
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: coming up. Man, Key, Keith Shepherd is gonna be on
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the show. She has kids foundation, but that she does
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: for sickle cells. She's gonna tell us all about it.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: So Living your Life dot on line and go ahead
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: and go register and subscribe Living your Life dot on
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Line all right. In sports last month, right before the
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Super Bowl, NFL great and sports commentator Michael Irving was
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: accused of making harassing and inappropriate comments to a female
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Marriott Hotel employee last month, and he was immediately pulled
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: from the NFL network and ESPN's coverage of the Super Bowl. Then,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Irvin fouled a one hundred million dollar defamation lawsuit against
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: the Marriott Hotel. Well, he scored a major victory this
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: week after a federal court rule that the Marriott must
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: turn over any video that shows Irving and his accuser
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: at its hotel. Now they have till March seventh to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: turn over all these videos, So we're gonna find out
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. Yes, just accusing together. And you know what, man,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: it's the fact that he lost so much money from
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: not being able to work the NFL. So I'm just
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: gonna tell you flat out. For them to assume that
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: he was guilty and then to remove him from that
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: hotel room like that, man, that's crazy. That just says
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: a whole lot. You can't do that to people. This
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: man losing off of an accusation with no proof behind it.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: We got to stop this type of stuff. Now, hear
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: what has to happen. If you sexually abuse a woman,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you should pay. If you put a woman, that's we
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: got that. But now if you accuse a man of
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: sexual abuse and there is not, then you got to
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: pay too. See. We got to start locking enough people
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: that make false accusations too. See. You can't just go
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: for the money and then don't get the money. In
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: the old whale, I tried to hit him up and
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: it didn't work, and you skip on out with your life. No, man,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I hope he's too to marry the draws off the
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Marriott Corporate hundred If he's in it, Yeah, I do
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: one hundred million and I go get crumpet, marry her.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Austin sports man Kevin Durant made his son's debut the
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: other night. Man. Congratulations Kevin Durant coming back on the court.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Man twenty three points in twenty seven minutes. That's when
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: he showed up with Man. Also, Devin Booker put down
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: thirty seven as they beat the whole one to five
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: to ninety one. This might be a nice combo. Here
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: might be the one if Durant stay healthy. Man, they're strong,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: they're strong. Man. I can't wait to see some more
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: basketball back with Steve Harvey Morning Showed the top of
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the hour right after this You're listening to was Dave
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Scottie Pippen's ex wife, Larsa Pippen was
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: a guest on The Tamarin Hall Show and she nervously
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: opened up about dating Michael Jordan's son, Marcus. It's been
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: trending since they started dating. Larsa is sixteen years older
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: than Marcus, who is Michael Jordan's son. Larsa was married
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: to Scottie Pippen when he played in the NBA with
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, and now she's dating Michael's son and people
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: are looking at her with the side eye. I mean,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: you know, that's kind of normal too. Larsa's forty eight,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Marcus is thirty two. Tamarin told Larsa it's quote normal
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: for people to wonder how Marcus's parents have reacted to
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: them dating. Larsa said, They're fine. Everyone's fine when you're
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: an adult. I think your parents just want to see
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: you happy. Tamaron then asked Larsa if she has Marcus's
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: parents blessing, and she stated, yeah, I feel like we're great.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: We've spent holidays together. It's good. We're in a great place.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: So there you go. And here's the question, would you
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: care if your thirty two year old son dates a
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: much older woman or would you care because of who
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the much older woman was or is because his son
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: has grown? You know, they were teammates, but it seems
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: like with her ex husband and the father of the
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: guy that she's dating, did they didn't have a good relationship, right,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: And that's the problem. And it's like all the men
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: in the world you could date. Jordan's then got on
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Pippins last, damn nerves, last, damn nerve. I think they
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: didn't have a good relationship after Last Dance Ko. Yeah,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the documentary, I thought that Scottie felt like he didn't
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: get enough credit, right, And you know you got this
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: save with mount of rings that the man got with them.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I just you know, it's kind of crazy. Man, there's
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: a picture of Michael Jordan holding his son watching a basketball. Man.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: H It's it's a little weird, man. It's really just
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: a little weird because damn man, that's mikes. That's it's weird.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: You could do about it because they're adults. It's just weird.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I don't it's it's a little odd to strength. I
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: know I would be over at the house at the holidays.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I'd be a little nervous, but something as Marcus, you
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: would be nervous. Who would be nervous? Loss, I'd be
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: a little, oh the nervous at the jordan household for
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure they ain't been the dinner together something.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: But I think the Jordan's are cool with it. I
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: think it's the Pippens or Scottie Pippin got to be trippy. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I think so. Yeah. I just you know, we were
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: at data in this house from here out. You know
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: that I'm coming here with the door down. You put
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: that logot. I wish I would see that here because
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: honest circle, that's small. That That's why I said, been
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: in the world, Yeah you rocket right? Can I say this? Really?
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I don't care. I have enough problems in my damn.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I gotta keep eye on who bringing who up in
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: the hill. I gotta watch that. Ain't really got no
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: time for scott Pivot. I know, I know, Scotty Pipper
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: need take the platfied his hair. That's all I know.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: What made you twist your head at damn this sixty. Yeah,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: like I said after the last last dance, no, no
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: one knew that, you know, Scottie, Yeah, jo Jo's a
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: special cat to me for me, not that we hang
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: out or talk or nothing like that. It's just what
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: he meant and he demonstrated. He just I learned a
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: lot from watching him. He's just that dude for me. Man.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: You know. But you know when Scottie Pipper said, I
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: was I'm just as good as the basketball players. Michael Jordan, Yeah,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I just that's when we started. So they're gonna be
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: argan at Thanksgiving? What's what? All? Right? Coming up to
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this you're listening show. Well,

- 1:14:13Speaker 1: whole life. The other day I watched Emancipation just so

- 1:20:35Speaker 1: asking about Ready to Love Chicago, and I'm up for it.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: But I'm up for it. But it's gonna have to
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: be in the summer. Tack, no, no, no, I want
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: your ass up in there the winter. When hours up
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: there it is cold. I mean, how long does it
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: take the two to show? How many weeks? About six? Oh,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: you can't go to they just got two weeks and
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Summer didn't hit them to him a blizzard. Yeah, well,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I was gonna ask. You know, we talked earlier about
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Chris Rock Special tomorrow on Netflix. He's gonna talk about
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: the slap with Will Smith and everything. We talked about
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Some More Special on Netflix as well. I want to
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: know you as a stand up. That's how you started
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: your career. When you watch a Chris Rock, when you
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: watch Some More Dave Chappelle, do you watch as a fan,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: as an audience member or do you critique? You know
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Well, you watch as a fan because
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I am a fan of Some More. So I am
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: a fan of Chappelle and Rock because they are throwback
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to what comedy really was. You know the Cats. Now,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: this guy Ali Sadiq than you, damn man, He's so
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: damn funny to me, man, coming, I want I want
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: come bhind him and talk to him. That dude, right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: you know him whatever, man? He from Houston. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: he's actually on in the afternoon with Funky Larry Jones
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: does radio really Yeah, that's doing right there, man is
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, with the right couple of moves,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: he could be one of the next grades. That's how
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I've watched him. No, Alisa deep, Man, I kid you not.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Somebody tell him. I said that because I've watched him closely.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I've watched a lot of his work, and that's right there. Man.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: You see Mexicans got on boots. You've seen that. What
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: is that Mexican got on boots is a a bit
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: he does about when he was in attention. Oh man, Steve,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I say, storytelling a straight classic. Oh my god, No,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. He's that's what can make him
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: one of the greats man. And I just think that dude. Man,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I would love to do something with Netflix while I
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: like do with Steve Harvey Presents because I know some cats. Man. Yeah,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I've been watching some dudes that's that's really really strong.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: But I do watch as a fan and I watch
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I understand like Dione Cole Special, Sharlene or baby Board Outstanding. Man,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: dude was such a cold throwback. I watched h I'm
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, man, I watched some Cat William clips. Man,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: that dude right there, I did some funny ass mask. Man.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: That damn cat did some funny ass mass. Man. That
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: dude did some funny mess um that it happened to
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: him the way it did, but it probably had to
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: have him poor a reason. He's making a great comeback
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: right now. But I think he was. He was one
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: of the special cat When I look at the top
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: ten comedians in this era, he can he can easily
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: get in there because his body worked. Very very funny
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: guy man. That's how I look at comedy. You know,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: my mouth rushmore of comedy is so complex because I
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: do know who these dudes really are, and like Richard
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Pryde and Eddie Murphy gets a rock all by the
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: self because Jim dudes. Richard is alone, far and away
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: the greatest ever. I don't care who you are. If
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: you don't say that, it's because you don't know. You
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: don't know. You can't know him. You can't know him.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Name nobody after him. That was greater. Eddie too many
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: hundred million dollar movies, too many skits, too much comedy.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: He's just a beach by himself. And then on the
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: rock if I had to do money day In all honesty,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Bill cosby Man one of the most prolific comedian comedians
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: of all time. Twenty comedy albums ain't nobody done, man, No,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: And I'm talking about a brilliant storyteller. You can get
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: mad at his life, but when we're talking about stand up,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: that dude right there man wicked. And I don't want
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: people to forget about Sinbad. That dude was. Sinbad was
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: a beast man, yes, but them damn Kings though, well,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I was waiting on somebody else. Take us out, y'all,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: have a great day. Talk to God. There a good
