- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show? Wow? Man?
- 2:12Speaker 1: How good has God been to me? You know? Today?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Let me get right to it because I'm I'm kind
- 2:18Speaker 1: of feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure that's just
- 2:21Speaker 1: quite a few of you who go through the same
- 2:23Speaker 1: things today. Today was just a little tough morning from
- 2:28Speaker 1: me because I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You
- 2:32Speaker 1: don't want to stay home a little I'd just gotten home,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you know, I gotta go again, and sometimes, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: just the weight of all that you have to do
- 2:41Speaker 1: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
- 2:44Speaker 1: like doing it today. Huh. You know, I'm just talking
- 2:50Speaker 1: to those who feel this way every now and then,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and I'm assuming that would be everybody, because I don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: know nobody who can just ply through this thing without
- 2:58Speaker 1: having those days. Well, what do you do when it
- 3:03Speaker 1: gets hard to stay up? What do you do when
- 3:06Speaker 1: it gets hard to be positive? What do you do
- 3:10Speaker 1: when it seems like things aren't happening for you fast
- 3:14Speaker 1: enough or in the time frame that you thought it
- 3:16Speaker 1: was going. What do you do? And the reason that
- 3:20Speaker 1: I guess I chose to speak about this this morning
- 3:23Speaker 1: is because I'm having one of those days. Because I
- 3:25Speaker 1: had one of those days yesterday. It's just a tough day.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I really can't explain. It's nothing really in particular bad happened.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's just I think the weight of all that's going
- 3:41Speaker 1: on started to feel heavy to me. And so what
- 3:47Speaker 1: do you do when you when you have days like that,
- 3:50Speaker 1: when it's hard to be positive, when it's hard to
- 3:52Speaker 1: stay up? Okay, here's what I had to start doing
- 3:55Speaker 1: this morning. Now I haven't completed it. Can I just
- 3:59Speaker 1: be real with you. I haven't completed it, but I
- 4:03Speaker 1: am processing it out because I know what to do.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know, been there done that. I didn't had that
- 4:08Speaker 1: pain before I know what to do. You know, if
- 4:10Speaker 1: I sprain my finger, I know what to do now.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You know the first spring I had a lord, I
- 4:15Speaker 1: thought it was broke. I thought I got me handac half.
- 4:18Speaker 1: But now if I spray my finger, I know what
- 4:19Speaker 1: to do. So since I've been in this position, in
- 4:22Speaker 1: this hole so many times before, and God has always
- 4:25Speaker 1: gotten me through it, I decided I've got to start
- 4:28Speaker 1: the process today. Want to hear are some things Now
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna get to the big one last. And one
- 4:36Speaker 1: of the things I do is I remember the plan,
- 4:41Speaker 1: sit down, and I consciously think about the goals I've set.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I go over them. See, I've got mine down on
- 4:48Speaker 1: an iPad so I can pull them out anywhere I
- 4:51Speaker 1: am and pull them up. And I've got two lists
- 4:54Speaker 1: that I've made. I've got a list of things that
- 4:56Speaker 1: I know I can accomplish if I just keep working hard,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and if some couple of things just fall into place
- 5:03Speaker 1: that I can see. Then I got a list of
- 5:06Speaker 1: things that I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I have
- 5:09Speaker 1: a second list. And the heading of this list is
- 5:13Speaker 1: called only God can help me Now. And on this
- 5:17Speaker 1: list it's things that I'm aspiring for or things that
- 5:21Speaker 1: I'm hoping to that in order for them to happen,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I absolutely have to have God's help. That's my favorite list.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It's the list that I have of the things that
- 5:35Speaker 1: I don't see no way it can happen. I'm just
- 5:39Speaker 1: operating on faith and the hope that God hear me,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and so sometimes, man, when you gotta when I have
- 5:47Speaker 1: this list of who only God can help me, now
- 5:51Speaker 1: that list is stuff that I cannot see. I'm just
- 5:55Speaker 1: operating on faith that God is so much bigger than me,
- 5:59Speaker 1: that he's so much more capable than I am, that
- 6:02Speaker 1: I can actually acquire some things in my life, as
- 6:05Speaker 1: he's proven to me time and time again up to
- 6:07Speaker 1: this point, that He's willing to do for me. If
- 6:10Speaker 1: I'm willing to just give him some of my life.
- 6:13Speaker 1: That's the only why I can't explain my existence today.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You know, I began the conversation with my wife, how
- 6:20Speaker 1: do I write a book that becomes so wildly successful?
- 6:24Speaker 1: That would be God. That's only God. Because if you
- 6:28Speaker 1: can plan to sit down and write a wildly successful book,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'd have Benden sat down and did it, and so
- 6:34Speaker 1: would you. So that would be God how it got
- 6:38Speaker 1: purchased to become a movie when that was not my
- 6:41Speaker 1: intent when I wrote the book at all. Again, that
- 6:45Speaker 1: would be God, right, there has to be, because if
- 6:49Speaker 1: I can't explain it and it is by no doing
- 6:52Speaker 1: of my own, then who did it? So when I
- 6:55Speaker 1: get down in days like this, I remember the goal.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I remember the plan. I remember the journey. I think
- 7:02Speaker 1: about of all the things God has bought me through,
- 7:04Speaker 1: how did I even get to this point? Yeah? I
- 7:06Speaker 1: might be having a little bummer of a day. Yeah
- 7:08Speaker 1: I was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms
- 7:12Speaker 1: is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah, I'm
- 7:14Speaker 1: just having one of those days. I feel a little
- 7:16Speaker 1: bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I need
- 7:19Speaker 1: some time off to just go and regenerate. But right now, man,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I ain't got that. So guess what I do. I
- 7:25Speaker 1: gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I gotta start thinking about all the things that God
- 7:32Speaker 1: has done for me and heights bought me this far,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and the blessings that I have instead of what I
- 7:37Speaker 1: don't have. And that's what I'm in the process of
- 7:39Speaker 1: doing this morning, and on the commercial breaks, I'm gonna
- 7:42Speaker 1: pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go over my
- 7:44Speaker 1: two lists, and I'm gonna read my little list of
- 7:47Speaker 1: what I think I can accomplish, and I'm gonna really
- 7:49Speaker 1: read that only God can help Me now list, because
- 7:52Speaker 1: that's the list that's big. That's the part where I've
- 7:54Speaker 1: been telling y'all, I said, quit telling God how big
- 7:58Speaker 1: your problems are, and start telling your problems how big
- 8:01Speaker 1: your God is. See. And that's why I got to
- 8:04Speaker 1: sit down and do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 8:11Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
- 8:16Speaker 1: because sometimes it feel like you're running on a treadmill
- 8:20Speaker 1: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
- 8:22Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when when you
- 8:24Speaker 1: get that feeling, sometimes you gotta stay still. And then
- 8:29Speaker 1: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You're in a fight, mam. I told you this. Now,
- 8:37Speaker 1: you're in a fight now. So trying to get you
- 8:39Speaker 1: to get on that positive train so he can get
- 8:41Speaker 1: you off the faith train. So God's delivery package that's
- 8:45Speaker 1: coming to you built on your faith that you can.
- 8:47Speaker 1: He can shake your faith and get you to thinking
- 8:49Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See. So when you start
- 8:52Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
- 8:55Speaker 1: to throw you off track. And when you get through
- 8:57Speaker 1: it all that He is the key, the big one.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You want me to tell it to you. You gots
- 9:00Speaker 1: to pray, man, You got to pray. You gotta take
- 9:04Speaker 1: it to God. You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm
- 9:06Speaker 1: having one of these days. I need your help. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: got business to take care of. You got blessings in
- 9:11Speaker 1: front of me. You got stuff you to ship to me.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You got blessings and packages that's on the way. I
- 9:16Speaker 1: need to be sitting on Faith streets so I can
- 9:18Speaker 1: receive the delivery when you get there. What I don't
- 9:21Speaker 1: want to do is be it on be on doubted
- 9:23Speaker 1: Way or or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway
- 9:29Speaker 1: or some street like that, and the package keep going by.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street
- 9:36Speaker 1: so when you drop that package down to me, I
- 9:38Speaker 1: can go on and get it. You feel me, You
- 9:41Speaker 1: got to pray, You got to stay still, you gotta
- 9:44Speaker 1: fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You
- 9:47Speaker 1: gotta go over the goals. Come on, man, God and
- 9:49Speaker 1: brought you too far, Come on, pick yourself up today.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't
- 9:55Speaker 1: mind you're listening to ladies and gentlemen. I am here,
- 10:03Speaker 1: but I am not here alone. I come to you
- 10:06Speaker 1: with the group of people who are just as excited,
- 10:10Speaker 1: jess as enthusiastic about bringing you the morning show. Before
- 10:15Speaker 1: we get started, we would like to say to you, please,
- 10:17Speaker 1: please lend yourself heavily to gratitude. Start thinking about it
- 10:23Speaker 1: on a daily basis. Y'all, be grateful you are here.
- 10:27Speaker 1: You are getting the daily news of people not being here.
- 10:30Speaker 1: And if you're still receiving the news, the fact remains
- 10:33Speaker 1: that you are not the news. So I am grateful
- 10:37Speaker 1: that I am not that news of the day. Thank
- 10:40Speaker 1: you for life, for health, for strength, and for awareness,
- 10:45Speaker 1: but most of all, thank you for gratitude. Oh man,

- 16:27Speaker 1: It was all this food there, and you're gonna single
- 16:29Speaker 1: out my beans. Nobody else complained you know what the
- 16:31Speaker 1: day's date is, Okay, and not one other person called
- 16:34Speaker 1: me about them beans, and by the as a matter
- 16:38Speaker 1: of fact, other people were complimenting me. So for you
- 16:40Speaker 1: to call me with the dumb, all late and wrong.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You're gonna blame me high because you need a doctor's appointment.
- 16:46Speaker 1: You should have got Obamacare when it was available to you.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And how you want to call me with no no,

- 17:00Speaker 1: I'm look up and that's what. Then that's where it

- 17:03Speaker 1: your friend, know the hell I hate because what doctor bill?
- 17:09Speaker 1: You said you want having shurance? So how does the

- 17:20Speaker 1: the bill is pains so you can get and you
- 17:22Speaker 1: go reimverse me. Well no, I'm not going to reimverse
- 17:25Speaker 1: you with okay and fast. I got more beans for
- 17:27Speaker 1: you since you got a problem with them. I got
- 17:29Speaker 1: a whole bowl for you. Okay, how about because you're fullish,
- 17:33Speaker 1: so if it made you, that's good for you. Hey, look, look,
- 17:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here right up. Uh, the
- 17:39Speaker 1: bills four hundred and seventy two dollars. I need four
- 17:41Speaker 1: hundred and sent me four hundred and seventy two dollars
- 17:44Speaker 1: for your boys things. No, no, no, no, you're not
- 17:48Speaker 1: getting the money from me. And I need to go
- 17:50Speaker 1: because I got work to do. I don't know what
- 17:52Speaker 1: you got to do. Spend it all this time on
- 17:54Speaker 1: the come FROMEE and talk about something beings with all
- 17:55Speaker 1: that food. So the rice didn't do it, the meat
- 17:58Speaker 1: didn't do it. They had some other great gravy. Always
- 18:01Speaker 1: people up that didn't do it. You want to sing
- 18:03Speaker 1: about my beans? Gotta here? Don't be calling me with
- 18:06Speaker 1: this done? You know what? Now, Tommy? Who gave me
- 18:09Speaker 1: your number? Because I don't even know you. I do
- 18:11Speaker 1: know your mom, A little mama Mama Bean gave me
- 18:14Speaker 1: your number. I called Mama Mama Dean passing out numbers. Well,
- 18:17Speaker 1: I don't want to call Mama Dean. And I'm gonna
- 18:20Speaker 1: see if anybody else got sick, which I know they
- 18:22Speaker 1: didn't because your ass is full. So I'm gonna call
- 18:25Speaker 1: her see if anybody got sick. How about we do
- 18:27Speaker 1: it that way. And I also I'm gonna call your mother. Okay,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna call miss Lois and see why her dad
- 18:33Speaker 1: son is calling me on the phone because this is
- 18:35Speaker 1: something broke. I'm sick inside of this phone call. And

- 19:18Speaker 1: to gain other people who want to jump on your side,
- 19:21Speaker 1: it's not going to happen because nobody complained about the
- 19:23Speaker 1: being give me give me another names because Tommy wasn't there.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I know just about everybody that was there. Nobody named

- 20:14Speaker 1: here like an I get these people. Fret you aren't
- 20:18Speaker 1: gonna get no money. Tell me this, tell me this
- 20:22Speaker 1: is the baddest, the baddest radio show in the land.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Oh but you know it, but you know it's Steve
- 20:28Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Oh my god, this is great. Keep
- 20:34Speaker 1: cooking your bean. But you are all right? Thank you?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Having new year? All right, the new year and next
- 20:40Speaker 1: year I probably pop up in Mamma Deane house. Here.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You are welcome to come. We're gonna stop all this
- 20:51Speaker 1: all I think you nephew coming up next crazy, asked
- 20:56Speaker 1: the CLO with the Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. Right
- 21:00Speaker 1: after this, you're listening, it is time for the CLO
- 21:07Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building for your
- 21:10Speaker 1: love questions. This one is from Farah in Tuscaloosa. Farah says,
- 21:15Speaker 1: I'm a twenty eight year old personal trainer and actress.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I do fitness modeling and I'd like to transition to
- 21:22Speaker 1: doing my workouts on my own fitness show. I go
- 21:26Speaker 1: back and forth to Atlanta to audition for small roles
- 21:29Speaker 1: and I'm getting frustrated because I've got a gift to
- 21:32Speaker 1: share with the world. I want to be the first
- 21:35Speaker 1: full figure trainer on television. What kind of advice can
- 21:40Speaker 1: you offer me? Yeah? This is from full figure. She
- 21:48Speaker 1: wants to be the first full figure trainer. Yeah. See
- 21:51Speaker 1: what if you're training, ain't you gonna get smaller? Well, see,
- 21:55Speaker 1: that's why we have the problem. The reason ain't nobody
- 21:58Speaker 1: taking to this real face, This ain't really going nowhere
- 22:02Speaker 1: for And this is the frustrating because you're saying trainer
- 22:07Speaker 1: and you full figured because most trainers, as you see
- 22:11Speaker 1: on TV, are not full figured. They they have to figure. Ye. Well,
- 22:21Speaker 1: they're gonna be hard because when when you say you're
- 22:23Speaker 1: a trainer, then people gonna want to know what are
- 22:26Speaker 1: you training us to be? Are you trying to swell
- 22:29Speaker 1: us up? You want us to be full figured? Or
- 22:31Speaker 1: do you want us or you want us to lose weighting.
- 22:34Speaker 1: What was you eight hundred and now you two fifty?
- 22:37Speaker 1: I mean, what is we're doing here? Just we need
- 22:39Speaker 1: some numbers to work with. If you don't win from
- 22:41Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars two fifty, tell us that tell us that.
- 22:45Speaker 1: But if you just see your pitching, you still two
- 22:47Speaker 1: fifty and I'm one ninety, I'm feeling a little bit
- 22:52Speaker 1: more fit than you. That's probably the problem she have.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And it's a conflict of interest, It's what I'm saying.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It's and to build. Like when they give it a
- 23:01Speaker 1: TV show and they put the billboard and they put trainer,
- 23:03Speaker 1: and then they put a hub there see everybody driving
- 23:07Speaker 1: body and just trying to figure out what's going on.
- 23:10Speaker 1: It's gonna be a lot of that on the billboard. Ye,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and then you're gonna have to do a lot of
- 23:15Speaker 1: explaining to do because if you're a trainer, but it
- 23:18Speaker 1: don't look like you're a trainer, if you're looking more
- 23:22Speaker 1: like the training huh. She you heard me fight yes?
- 23:34Speaker 1: To reach her goal. It's her dream. I'm the clo
- 23:37Speaker 1: the chief love of anyway. She loves her clear herself clear, right,
- 23:44Speaker 1: and that's good and that's good and dreams come true
- 23:48Speaker 1: and you probably one day you'll be the first full
- 23:50Speaker 1: figure trainer. But it's gonna have to be at the
- 23:52Speaker 1: fat camp or something. You're gonna have to be somewhere
- 23:54Speaker 1: else where. They were they ready for that. You had
- 23:57Speaker 1: to go down hunt Huh? Moving No, yeah, we're moving on.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Not no, not so fast, moving on, moving on. Tammy
- 24:10Speaker 1: and Illinois, said the thirty one year old single mother
- 24:15Speaker 1: of a teenager. And she's giving me the blues because
- 24:19Speaker 1: she's got a potty mouth. Okay, I've had to take
- 24:22Speaker 1: her out of school several times this school year because
- 24:25Speaker 1: she cursed at the teacher, her father's her father's mother's ghetto,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and smoked brown cigarettes and curses all day at everybody.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Do I keep punishing her? Or should I stop her
- 24:38Speaker 1: from visiting grandma? No? See your problem is you punishment?
- 24:43Speaker 1: See you grounding her, You taking her high phone? You're
- 24:46Speaker 1: doing stuff like that. Ain't nobody whooped her asship thought
- 24:52Speaker 1: and came up. Ain't nobody had fired off her dad
- 24:56Speaker 1: and her jaw and said, next time you custo y'all
- 25:00Speaker 1: this what's gonna happen me? Fus? Ain't nobody done that.
- 25:04Speaker 1: But these days are different. They're not like our parents were.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And that's the problem. You know, thank their kids whip
- 25:10Speaker 1: their kids, beat their kids. They don't do that. Kid,
- 25:13Speaker 1: you can't do that. Look, you can't raise kids the
- 25:17Speaker 1: way you used to. But then so we're not producing
- 25:20Speaker 1: kids like we used to. So now what you want
- 25:24Speaker 1: us to do? I'm not fit to change my way,
- 25:27Speaker 1: oh of my method because it worked. And I know
- 25:31Speaker 1: it's a new day in time, and you know, people
- 25:33Speaker 1: don't want to discipline their child, or people don't believe
- 25:36Speaker 1: in hitting their children. Don't hit your child, you know,
- 25:38Speaker 1: wait till your child grew up and start suckle punching you.
- 25:41Speaker 1: How about that you hit a nerve? Yeah, so you know,
- 25:47Speaker 1: y'all do it anyway y'all want to. But don't call
- 25:49Speaker 1: Uncle Stephen, ask Steve nothing about child real. If you
- 25:52Speaker 1: don't want to hear about ass whip us, because that's
- 25:54Speaker 1: all I got. Don't call me no more, damn more.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Call the Rida Smiley, show up, call somebody because you know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: doing this new method, I don't have that. Don't call me,
- 26:04Speaker 1: ask me nothing about child rid. If you don't want
- 26:07Speaker 1: to hear about these ass that's all I got for you.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Now you call you old fashioned, I'm old Bye birthday, Yes,
- 26:19Speaker 1: one day. Moving on to anonymous in Saint Louis, Anonymous rights.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I work at a rental car place and I've just
- 26:27Speaker 1: been promoted. Before I got promoted, I was messing with
- 26:30Speaker 1: a fine young lady that worked with me. We used
- 26:33Speaker 1: to go to the back of the garage and have
- 26:35Speaker 1: sex and any available as what you v. Now that
- 26:39Speaker 1: I'm a leader in the company, I can't mess this up.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I want to climb on that back seat with her
- 26:44Speaker 1: one more time. Though, Is it too risky or do
- 26:47Speaker 1: I go for it? Wait a minute, I'm like a
- 26:49Speaker 1: good back seat. They used to go back in the
- 26:52Speaker 1: garage in any old suv, any available suv. Yeah, where
- 26:57Speaker 1: was the getting all these corkeys from her? He works
- 27:00Speaker 1: at a rental car place, and what is her job
- 27:06Speaker 1: at the rental car place? She worked with them. They
- 27:10Speaker 1: worked together, like climbing in the back seat, that's her job,
- 27:17Speaker 1: climbing in the back seat, sudden rooftop digging in the
- 27:21Speaker 1: scene where the gangs to lead. Hey, though you may
- 27:29Speaker 1: not have a fleet of Cadillacs, so what should he do?
- 27:38Speaker 1: Somebody that you work with him that likes to climb
- 27:45Speaker 1: up in the back. Now, you may not have had work,
- 27:56Speaker 1: that wants to give you her all. She's still doing.
- 28:01Speaker 1: But just remember brothers at car places, you can steal
- 28:09Speaker 1: stand tall. Hey, here we go, get in the backseat
- 28:15Speaker 1: one more time. Do it again and blow her mind.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Whoop whoo hey, climb in the back one more time,
- 28:27Speaker 1: digging in the scene. Who who you're telling him to go? What?

- 29:26Speaker 1: you have some rules for when you live with someone
- 29:28Speaker 1: until you get on your feet. Now, this is not
- 29:30Speaker 1: for millennials. Anybody, see anybody, Okay, So I don't want

- 42:07Speaker 1: ain't got through this. This is you say to yourself
- 42:17Speaker 1: with your stupidests. Just like bo Iver heard you say
- 42:23Speaker 1: that it was two job. It was like, oh my god,
- 42:39Speaker 1: I thought my mom was talking to me. Things you
- 42:47Speaker 1: say to people when you mad at him? Won't you
- 42:51Speaker 1: go ahead and die? Can't get up out of him
- 42:57Speaker 1: about Facebook? All right? Come on, take us home? No, no, no,
- 43:07Speaker 1: this says not my family. I'm calling crime stop. They
- 43:12Speaker 1: ain't gonna get a tip today. Yeah, show glad that
- 43:21Speaker 1: ain't my baby? Why never you tell me? As a
- 43:29Speaker 1: prank phone call? Coming up right after this you're listening
- 43:34Speaker 1: to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:38Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 43:40Speaker 1: the subject I'm not sure I can do this. I'm
- 43:44Speaker 1: not sure I can do this, but right now we
- 43:46Speaker 1: can do this. The nephew is here with today's Frank
- 43:49Speaker 1: phone call. What you got baby, I've been in Prankville.
- 43:52Speaker 1: You know everybody, uh, you know, all couples are not
- 43:55Speaker 1: able to have a child. You know what I'm saying.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Everybody's not able to see you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 44:02Speaker 1: so sometimes you need a little yep, you know. So
- 44:04Speaker 1: let's prank right here is what you call unorthodox methods.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Unorthodox method running. Kay. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 44:17Speaker 1: trying to reach brother Robert as speaking. Hey, how you doing.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I'm I'm calling you from the church. How are you doing? Brothers? Man,
- 44:23Speaker 1: I'm doing super fantastic. Any day above ground is a
- 44:26Speaker 1: good day. That's good. That's good. Hey, hey, listen, man,
- 44:30Speaker 1: we wanted to uh, being one of the brothers of
- 44:33Speaker 1: the church, I wanted to give you a call. Man.
- 44:35Speaker 1: You didn't make it to day, but you now well
- 44:37Speaker 1: you know your wife stood up to date and uh
- 44:39Speaker 1: asked us to keep you all and our prayers because
- 44:42Speaker 1: y'all are definitely trying to bring her a new child
- 44:44Speaker 1: into the world. And she let us know that. You know,
- 44:48Speaker 1: she's she's being a little older now forty one, forty two,
- 44:52Speaker 1: you know, she said it takes a little longer to
- 44:54Speaker 1: try and conceive a child than you know in your
- 44:56Speaker 1: earlier years. So we definitely wanted to let you know,
- 44:59Speaker 1: man that we we got y'all in our prayers. Man. Man,
- 45:02Speaker 1: you just don't know how much we appreciate that. Man. Yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 1: we've been trying, but I know what prayers, all things
- 45:07Speaker 1: are possible. Yeah, well, we definitely want to definitely want
- 45:10Speaker 1: to keep you out of our prayers. Man. And uh,
- 45:13Speaker 1: I hope that you are able to conceive this child
- 45:15Speaker 1: and brain, you know, brain brain brain bringing news a
- 45:17Speaker 1: new child into this world. You know the book says
- 45:19Speaker 1: be fruitful and multiplies. Definitely definitely. Now who is this again? Bro? Brother,
- 45:24Speaker 1: brother author. I don't know if you know me directly,
- 45:26Speaker 1: but I'm brother. I wanted the brothers at the church.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, brother, thank you not not not not
- 45:32Speaker 1: not Bro Robert. What I want to ask you, man,
- 45:34Speaker 1: was have you considered any any alternatives methods for, as
- 45:40Speaker 1: you know, maybe helping this situation. Uh, we've looked at
- 45:44Speaker 1: a few Uh what what what what are you referring
- 45:47Speaker 1: to as an alternative? Well, I mean I think I
- 45:50Speaker 1: have a good, uh thing then that might be able
- 45:53Speaker 1: to help this thing speed up the process and and
- 45:56Speaker 1: and you guys would be expecting in no time. Man, Man,
- 46:00Speaker 1: we got levels for some things like that. What what
- 46:03Speaker 1: what you got in mind? I mean, well, what I
- 46:06Speaker 1: have is a little little unorthodox, man. But I think
- 46:09Speaker 1: if you allow me to help you on this, man,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I think that you'll be definitely satisfied. And you know, man,
- 46:16Speaker 1: if nine months or now, you got to be at
- 46:18Speaker 1: the hospital wait looking for you your baby boy, your
- 46:20Speaker 1: paper girl, you know, or playing fire and orthodox? Okay,
- 46:25Speaker 1: U see what I have in mind? Man? Is have
- 46:28Speaker 1: you considered maybe like a Sarah get father, Clarify, clarified, Sara,
- 46:35Speaker 1: I'm thinking the wrong thing. I don't want I just
- 46:36Speaker 1: want to make ship with on the same page. What
- 46:38Speaker 1: do you mean by Sarah the fuck? Well? What it
- 46:41Speaker 1: is man is you know you know of course a
- 46:43Speaker 1: sarahus mother is someone that will carry a shy for
- 46:47Speaker 1: those that cannot carry one. You know what I'm saying,
- 46:50Speaker 1: right right? So what what? What? What? I've gone to
- 46:53Speaker 1: the doctor and got myself checked out, man, good physical
- 46:56Speaker 1: and everything. I'm physically sitting everything. And you know, maybe
- 46:59Speaker 1: I guess the complications are coming from uh you as
- 47:03Speaker 1: far as the child not being you know you're not
- 47:05Speaker 1: being able to conceive right now? No, no, I ain't.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with me? Man, Okay, now what you
- 47:10Speaker 1: mean like you physically fit? I mean, what the hell
- 47:13Speaker 1: they got to do with sea? Let's do. What I'm
- 47:15Speaker 1: saying is if if if what you know, if you
- 47:17Speaker 1: if you allow me to come over and and supply
- 47:20Speaker 1: my services. I mean, let's see if you left for
- 47:23Speaker 1: a weekend, man, and I stayed over there by the
- 47:25Speaker 1: time you get back, then man, what the time with you?
- 47:29Speaker 1: Is this? What's going on at this church? Man? Am
- 47:30Speaker 1: I at the road church? That you you're telling me
- 47:33Speaker 1: you try hit me? I understand you're saying you want
- 47:36Speaker 1: to come over and have sex with my wife. Well,
- 47:39Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, don't don't look at it like that.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Don't look at it like that, look at it that
- 47:42Speaker 1: if I'm helping, you're killing me in that ridicularly you
- 47:45Speaker 1: just saint you though, what excuse me? Okay, you don't
- 47:49Speaker 1: want to come out and say with my wife? No, no, no,

- 47:54Speaker 1: man and put you guys in a better position that
- 47:56Speaker 1: you will be saying your life. You understand what I'm saying.
- 48:00Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying I'm coming from now. I
- 48:01Speaker 1: don't sound like you tell me you want to have

- 48:15Speaker 1: know you? And then you're talking about the church. What
- 48:17Speaker 1: kind of is this? This thousand down at this church
- 48:20Speaker 1: and rid of the church. Don't have nothing to do
- 48:22Speaker 1: with this. It's me calling you to leave me when
- 48:24Speaker 1: you're coming to me, said, I'm trying to be if
- 48:26Speaker 1: you allow me to be the Surrogan father. I have

- 52:54Speaker 1: it's it's a little racy. Let's say. Okay, but I
- 52:58Speaker 1: ain't got no kids, got grand babies. Hold on tight
- 53:01Speaker 1: here it is Strawberry letter. All right, thank you, nephew. Subject,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I can do this. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:09Speaker 1: I am in a fairly near relationship with a great guy.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Everything was going great for the first ninety days of
- 53:15Speaker 1: our relationship, so we were mutually ready to advance to
- 53:19Speaker 1: a sexual relationship. We talked beforehand about what we enjoyed
- 53:23Speaker 1: and did not enjoy during intimacy, but he left out
- 53:27Speaker 1: one important detail about what he really likes. On our
- 53:32Speaker 1: second encounter, he asked me to use a toy on him.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Yes it was his toy that he pulled out of
- 53:39Speaker 1: a box under his bed. Yes, it's exactly what you're thinking.
- 53:45Speaker 1: I thought he was joking at first, but he was
- 53:47Speaker 1: very serious, so I decided to try it and see
- 53:50Speaker 1: what happened. Surely this man came to life, and he
- 53:54Speaker 1: became so passionate, aggressive and vocal. Afterwards, he said he
- 53:59Speaker 1: was so happy that he could reveal the side of
- 54:02Speaker 1: himself to me without judgment. The problem is I can't
- 54:07Speaker 1: told him what it is. Wait wait, wait, wait, okay
- 54:11Speaker 1: what yes him, yes, yes, oh, and he became excited
- 54:19Speaker 1: and vocal. Yes, yes, okay, Okay, you got it now,
- 54:25Speaker 1: I think I do. Okay, all right, she says, Surely
- 54:30Speaker 1: this man came to life. He became so passionate, aggressive
- 54:33Speaker 1: and vocal. Afterwards, he said he was so happy that
- 54:36Speaker 1: he could reveal the side of himself to me without judgment.
- 54:40Speaker 1: The problem is, she says, I am judging him. I
- 54:43Speaker 1: am okay with the fact that he might be bisexual,
- 54:47Speaker 1: but this is not something I plan to keep up.
- 54:49Speaker 1: I am crazy about this guy, and I feel comfortable
- 54:52Speaker 1: enough to talk to him about this, but I'm sure
- 54:54Speaker 1: he will leave me and find someone else that's more
- 54:56Speaker 1: open minded and adventurous in the bedroom. I've never experienced
- 55:01Speaker 1: this before. Uh, We're at the point now where he
- 55:04Speaker 1: can't reach his destination if I'm not driving the car.
- 55:09Speaker 1: This is getting way too much for me to handle,
- 55:12Speaker 1: since we've only been together for nine months. Should I
- 55:15Speaker 1: just break it off with him? Am I overthinking this?
- 55:17Speaker 1: Please advise? All right, listen, if you're not comfortable with this, no,
- 55:24Speaker 1: I'm ahead. I'm not going to be able to address
- 55:27Speaker 1: this letter in any way. You still stay on it,
- 55:29Speaker 1: I know we won't be No. People have issues, Steve,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and they need help. Okay, they need help. I'm trying
- 55:42Speaker 1: my Mica. Four comedians, she wrote to a show with
- 55:46Speaker 1: four comedians. Anybody got to say, we're gonna try and
- 55:49Speaker 1: help you though. I mean, she's at the point where,
- 55:52Speaker 1: you know, this is way too much for her to handle.
- 55:54Speaker 1: So if it's too much for you to handle, don't
- 55:56Speaker 1: handle it. Okay, you got to break this thing off
- 56:00Speaker 1: for it does get literally, yeah, before it does get
- 56:03Speaker 1: out of control. You're not comfortable with it. You know,
- 56:06Speaker 1: you guys discussed it beforehand, but he left this part out.
- 56:09Speaker 1: You said, you know, and if you don't do this,
- 56:15Speaker 1: you put it this way. If you're not driving the car,
- 56:20Speaker 1: he can't reach his destination. That's what you said. And
- 56:24Speaker 1: you said this is way too much for you to handle,
- 56:26Speaker 1: so I say stop handling it. You know, you guys
- 56:29Speaker 1: have only been together nine months, you're not married. You
- 56:32Speaker 1: want to know should you break it off. I have
- 56:33Speaker 1: to thank you, though, first of all, for being so
- 56:36Speaker 1: discreet in this letter. We definitely get what you're saying here.
- 56:39Speaker 1: This is a first. I don't think we've ever gotten
- 56:41Speaker 1: this kind of letter before. Yeah, and you are very
- 56:45Speaker 1: open minded and you are very adventurous. But listen, if
- 56:49Speaker 1: you're uncomfortable, if what you're doing makes you uncomfortable, then stop.
- 56:53Speaker 1: You don't have to do this. I mean, you know
- 56:55Speaker 1: this is what he wants sexually, but you know you
- 56:58Speaker 1: can be out. Just say no, you're comfortable. You guys
- 57:01Speaker 1: have been talking so far, so talk some more and
- 57:03Speaker 1: tell him you know what you don't like. And yeah,
- 57:05Speaker 1: he might leave you, but you know that's the chance
- 57:09Speaker 1: you'll have to take. Take nor with no reward. And well,
- 57:13Speaker 1: if you're talking about leaving me, I'm tell you what.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you put all this stuff back in
- 57:17Speaker 1: this box. You can get the hell out. Oh I
- 57:22Speaker 1: am not open minded or adventurous. So this letter for me,
- 57:27Speaker 1: and I don't want nobody to take this personal. Whatever
- 57:31Speaker 1: you do that floats your boat, you and your boat
- 57:35Speaker 1: can keep right on float. But you didn't write in
- 57:40Speaker 1: to somebody with a floatable boat. You rode in, you said,
- 57:44Speaker 1: Shirley and Steve. Now, I don't know what's going on. Hill,
- 57:48Speaker 1: y'all been talking for ninety days. Y'all decided to move
- 57:51Speaker 1: the relationship sex. Y'all even talked about what you liked
- 57:54Speaker 1: and what you didn't like. Y'all have sex. It must
- 57:57Speaker 1: have been okay because you got together a second time.
- 58:00Speaker 1: And when you got together a second time, he bought
- 58:02Speaker 1: some money. He reached up in the bed. He had
- 58:05Speaker 1: a toy and he asked you to use it on it.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Come to find out, you had to do some driving.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Now it got so crazy where you thought he was joking,
- 58:13Speaker 1: but he wasn't. Now he can't reach his destination without
- 58:18Speaker 1: you driving this toy. You can't do nothing. Everything I
- 58:28Speaker 1: think of I have to stop. You can't do the
- 58:32Speaker 1: letters about her and how she feels about doing what
- 58:35Speaker 1: he wants her to do. So you're addressing her still, okay, cool,
- 58:39Speaker 1: let me do that then, See, ma'am, I don't know
- 58:42Speaker 1: what to tell you, except if this is too much
- 58:45Speaker 1: for you. It's too much for you now. He said
- 58:50Speaker 1: afterwards that he was so happy that he could reveal
- 58:53Speaker 1: this side of himself without judgment. The problem is you judging,
- 59:00Speaker 1: and I'm with you. I know you judge because I'd
- 59:04Speaker 1: be wondering what the hell going on? My damn sir.
- 59:06Speaker 1: The fact that he might be bisexual. See, that's where
- 59:10Speaker 1: I need to stop, go to break. She's okay with that,
- 59:13Speaker 1: she said, Yeah, she is all right. We're gonna have
- 59:16Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 59:19Speaker 1: after the hour. The subject I'm not sure if I
- 59:23Speaker 1: can do this. You're listening, all right, Steve? We got
- 59:29Speaker 1: a recap. Today's letter ain't much of a recap. Well,
- 59:32Speaker 1: and we do have to do a disclaimer. If you
- 59:34Speaker 1: have children in the car, you might not want them
- 59:36Speaker 1: to hear this letter. The subject is I'm not sure
- 59:39Speaker 1: if I can do that. If you got other adults
- 59:40Speaker 1: in the car, they might not want to head either. Yeah,
- 59:45Speaker 1: this woman dating this man, they finally have sex. They
- 59:48Speaker 1: didn't talked about what they like and what they don't like.
- 59:50Speaker 1: First time must have went okay because they got to
- 59:52Speaker 1: together for the second time. Next time they got together,
- 59:55Speaker 1: they was talking again about what they like and what
- 59:58Speaker 1: they don't like. She hold him what she liked, He
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: said what he liked. But at the second time, homeboyd
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: reached up on the bed pull a box out. It
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: had a sexual toy and she thought he was joking
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: at first, but he wanted hub to use it on him,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: and boy did he get loud confessing. Oh lord, And
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: when it was over, when he was just so happy. Now,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: what you do though something like that? Well, he told us, right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: he said. Afterwards, he said he was so happy he
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: could reveal the side of himself without me judging. Yeah,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: now right down. Obviously something didn't get told. Now is
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: he bisexual? I don't know. I would based on what
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you said. You said he was bisex. He could probably
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: be yea, she said. I am okay with the fact
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: that he might be bisexual, but this is not something
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: she plans to keep up. Well, yeah, which means that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: in the nine months dad and done in the future.

- 1:01:27Speaker 1: you gotta get yourself in that position to get what
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you want out of it. You know, you can have
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: fun if it's what you want to do, tipp Real,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: it's up to you. But you know, yeah, she needs

- 1:01:39Speaker 1: she's not going to be able to keep this up.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: So and if this is what he wants, this is
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: what he wants. It makes him come alive and all

- 1:19:19Speaker 1: don't care what decisions you've make. Somebody's already done it, attempted,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: it gone down that role made the attempt. Maybe not
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: your ideas specifically, but the route to get there has
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: already been traveled for the most part. If you want
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: to be successful, that are successful people. If you want
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: to be a star athlete, there's a star. You know
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm saying to you that whatever it
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: is you're trying to accomplish, somebody has already taken the path. Now,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: finding these people is really really not that difficult. Now
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: getting in front of them is where you're gonna find
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: the difficulty. So let me give you a couple of suggestions.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: What is the best way to approach a mentor? What
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: is the best way to approach a mentor of means
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: and a mentor with means, Because that's that's two different people.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: You know, Martin Luther King was a mentor of means.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: He wasn't a wealthy man, but Lord have mercy man,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: the knowledge that he could have given you about struggling
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: and overcoming and sticktuitiveness, those those lessons he could have
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: taught you would have been invaluable. So you have two
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: different types of mentors. You have mentors of means and
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: mentors with means. Now if you can find the two combined,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: that's even more special, but you're getting into more of
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: a rare territory now. It's harder to find mentors of
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: means and with means combine because how do you get
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: to that person? How do you get to the Oprah
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: winter frees. When you find someone in your life, or
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you meet someone, or you hear someone, you put them
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: on your vision board. I want to meet this person
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: one day. I would love to have a conversation with
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: this person. You have to understand something. Most people with
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: means of any kind, like Bishop Jake's, he has a
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: lot of means man he does well financially too, but
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: he is also just a man of wealth of knowledge.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: How do you get to these people? Well, it's several
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: ways to do it, but if you can somehow find
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: that way, because there's no specific way right anyway, when
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: you get in front of this person, I want you
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: to understand something when you're facing them. They don't mind
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: teaching and sharing because most people of means are great
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: sharers and great teachers. A Bishop Jake's, a Joe Oldstein,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: that brother that has the app out, the hip hop
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: preacher Eric Eric Thomas brothers like that too, and I
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: listened to him man a lot of times, but getting
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: in front of them, taking their course or whatever you
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: might do. When you get in front of them, they
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: don't mind teaching and sharing. They will mind giving you money. See,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: most people want to meet them mentor so they can
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: present an idea to them and get some financial help.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: That's the quickest way to run them off out of
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: there because everybody is used to that. Do you have
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: any idea how many times in a week I'm asked
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: for money? It's sickening. But if you come to me
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: and say, man, could you just give me a piece
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: of advice? I usually don't have no problem with that.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I got time for most anybody that wants some advice
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: wants me to share a wealth a piece of knowledge.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: That's okay. So when you get to these people, have
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: a plan to be taught something. Ask him to teach
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: you to fish, not to give you a fish sandwich.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Ask them to teach you to fish. They don't have
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: a problem with that. Now, that several ways to get
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: in front of them. But when you do get that,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: when you finally do meet them, and meeting the main
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: as difficult as you think. Now, if you live in
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: you know New York and your mentor lives in la
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: You gotta find a way to get to La Or.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: You gotta find out when you come to New York.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: You gotta do some research. But you have mentors closer
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: than that. You have somebody who's a really well mentally
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: balanced person that you need information from. You have a
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: person who seems to be doing really well with a
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: wife and their children you need information from. Because it's
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: all a balancing act. You can't be successful in your
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: business and while your family sitting over the struggling and
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: in ruins is not going to work. Once you learn
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: the traits of success, it filters over into every other
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: aspect of life. So you got to have a balance.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: You can find these people right here. Don't ask them
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: for money. People want to share and teach and give
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you information. Everybody needs a mentor. You cannot make it
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: without mentorship. You know, there's an incredible saying, and we
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: ain't got to get into why so incredible, But friendship
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: is essential to the soul. You know why friendship is
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: so essential to the soul. I've lost my mother, my father,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I've lost my brother, I've lost my best friend. Before
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: you can live your life without your mother, you may
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: have to eventually. One day. You can live your life
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: without your father. You may eventually have to do that.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: One day. You can live your life without your uncles
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and your relatives. But you know what, it's very very
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: difficult to live your life without a friend. It is
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: very very difficult to live in this world with no friendship. Nowhere,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you can't pick up the man you got. Friendship is
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: essential to the soul. Do not avoid mentoring. Don't try
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: to do it all by yourself, because nobody gets to
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: the top by yourself. There's no such thing as a
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: self made man. You got to have a mentor. You
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: have to be mentor. That's it. That's an important part
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: of it. Today. For all Steve Ivery contests, no purchase necessary,
