- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bu bu things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not me true good Steve to mo st don't joy. Yeah,
- 0:58Speaker 1: you gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn, got to turn out to the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your baby, uh huh. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: show will a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I've come on dig me now one and only Steve
- 2:10Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. I gotta tweet the other day.
- 2:16Speaker 1: When Steve Harvey used to get to preaching, I used
- 2:18Speaker 1: to just turn the radio off. But Noah's different, old
- 2:24Speaker 1: dude be bringing it. He'd be bringing the truth. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: appreciate that, you know. Man. When I was younger, Man,
- 2:31Speaker 1: when I when I wanted to do what I wanted
- 2:33Speaker 1: to do, Man, I just man, I didn't want to
- 2:36Speaker 1: hear nothing else. I didn't want to hear nothing that
- 2:38Speaker 1: contradicted what I wanted to do. You know. So it's
- 2:42Speaker 1: a funny thing man about me. Man I was I
- 2:44Speaker 1: would hear the truth, I would know it to be
- 2:47Speaker 1: the truth. But because I had another plan, another mission,
- 2:50Speaker 1: another goal, another set of dudes. I wanted to get done.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't want to hear that. You know, it's a
- 2:57Speaker 1: funny thing, man, It's like it's like when I was
- 3:00Speaker 1: a little boy and I used to get scared sometime
- 3:02Speaker 1: at night, you know, the booger man. So I thought
- 3:04Speaker 1: that if I just pulled the blanket up over my head,
- 3:08Speaker 1: that that meant that if I can't see the booger man,
- 3:11Speaker 1: he can't see me. That's the theory. That's an ostrich,
- 3:15Speaker 1: you know, sticking his head in the sand, thinking wow,
- 3:19Speaker 1: if I don't see this dude, he can't see me.
- 3:22Speaker 1: A lot of Ostriches didn't die with their head stick
- 3:24Speaker 1: in the sand. I just didn't want to be one
- 3:27Speaker 1: of them people that left this world with my head
- 3:29Speaker 1: in the sand. But I just wanted to say, man,
- 3:34Speaker 1: this morning, that quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because
- 3:43Speaker 1: because because this is real right here, quit talking about
- 3:48Speaker 1: change and let's make a change. You know, man, I
- 3:52Speaker 1: don't I don't mind giving people advice. I really, I
- 3:55Speaker 1: really really don't, because so many people along the way
- 3:58Speaker 1: have handed it to me freely. Man. Some people just
- 4:02Speaker 1: saw me doing wrong and say, young man, come in,
- 4:04Speaker 1: let me talk to you for a minute. Some people say, hey, bro,
- 4:07Speaker 1: look man, I know what you're trying to do it. Man,
- 4:09Speaker 1: when have you thought about it this way? So I've
- 4:13Speaker 1: had a lot of favor in my life, a lot
- 4:16Speaker 1: of grace been shown on me, a lot of mercy,
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lot of people and came to me, helped me
- 4:20Speaker 1: a long way. So I don't have no problem with
- 4:22Speaker 1: this part of what I'm what I'm obligated to do
- 4:24Speaker 1: in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and let's make a change. She changed its growth, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: it ain't no growth without change. You got people, Man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: You ever met a person that's just insistent on doing
- 4:39Speaker 1: it they way? I mean, no body in the building
- 4:43Speaker 1: think they should go that way. But they're so bone headed.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Oh this is how I'm gonna do it. But bro,
- 4:50Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, that ain't high as done. You're
- 4:53Speaker 1: gonna run into this distance. I'll show you. Hey a minute, man,
- 4:58Speaker 1: you can't do it that way. Man, If you are
- 5:01Speaker 1: sick and tired of where you are, then you have
- 5:03Speaker 1: to change. Change can only come from within. Can nobody
- 5:08Speaker 1: make you change? Now, we got a penal system in
- 5:11Speaker 1: place that can make you sit down. If you don't
- 5:14Speaker 1: want to change, we'll sit you down and we'll restrict
- 5:18Speaker 1: your movement in your communication to the point where if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you want to continue this foolishness, we're gonna put you
- 5:24Speaker 1: in this building with a whole lot of people. That's
- 5:26Speaker 1: a foolishness. And y'all just trick each other all day long.
- 5:30Speaker 1: But if you are sick and tired of your situation,
- 5:34Speaker 1: pray for it. Pray for change, Ask God to help
- 5:38Speaker 1: you change. Ask God what he wants for you instead
- 5:42Speaker 1: of always telling God what you want. It's an interesting
- 5:45Speaker 1: prayer to have with God. When you quit going to
- 5:49Speaker 1: God with your list and check in with God and
- 5:53Speaker 1: see what his list is. That's a very interesting prayer.
- 5:56Speaker 1: If you're a praying person, I suggest you try that sometime.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It's so interesting. Man, Do you know what it did
- 6:03Speaker 1: for me when I started asking God what he wanted
- 6:05Speaker 1: for me instead of telling God all the time. I
- 6:08Speaker 1: still tell him what I want, but instead of all
- 6:11Speaker 1: the time going to Him with what I want. You
- 6:13Speaker 1: know what it did for me. It freed me up.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It took a lot of pressure off. I no longer
- 6:18Speaker 1: had to think of everything, and what I was thinking
- 6:21Speaker 1: of a lot of times wasn't work in no way.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And when I opened myself up to what he wanted
- 6:27Speaker 1: to what his wheel was, Man, do you know how
- 6:29Speaker 1: much simpler my life got? And do you know how
- 6:31Speaker 1: much bigger it got? I'm trying to tell you, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: if you pray for change and you allow God to
- 6:37Speaker 1: help you with the change, or if you let God
- 6:39Speaker 1: just produce the change, the changing, you would be amazing.
- 6:43Speaker 1: If you've been listening to me, especially out in La
- 6:46Speaker 1: since I was on the radio since two thousand, can't
- 6:49Speaker 1: you hear the change? I'm flat out telling you that
- 6:54Speaker 1: a change has come. But I had to pray for
- 6:57Speaker 1: the change because I couldn't make the change on my own.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And then after you pray for the change, you got
- 7:03Speaker 1: to work towards your trade change. You know it as
- 7:06Speaker 1: a faith without works is dead. Everybody wants something from God,
- 7:10Speaker 1: always want to talk to God about something. But then man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: ain't ain't, don't, don't want to do nothing about it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Faith without works is dead. You can't do it that way, man,
- 7:21Speaker 1: It just does not happen. So after you didn't pray
- 7:24Speaker 1: to God about it, what you gotta do. Then is
- 7:27Speaker 1: you gotta turn around and go hey, man, all right, now,
- 7:30Speaker 1: what is it I got to do? You know, you
- 7:33Speaker 1: got to do something to bring it about. So after
- 7:37Speaker 1: you pray for it, work for it, and do something
- 7:40Speaker 1: to date about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The
- 7:46Speaker 1: change can start today, Man, I want to change. How
- 7:49Speaker 1: about today? You know, then you see them saying people, Man,
- 7:53Speaker 1: I want to change. That's next week. How about today?
- 7:57Speaker 1: I see people years later? Man, I still in the
- 8:00Speaker 1: same old situation. Man, I'm gonna do something. How about today?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 8:08Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 8:13Speaker 1: of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all. And ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 8:21Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 8:24Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 8:26Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things in me
- 8:31Speaker 1: didn't need to change so I can grow further. Everybody
- 8:35Speaker 1: has something about them that they need to change in
- 8:39Speaker 1: order to grow further and then go further. Now, what's
- 8:43Speaker 1: stopping you is you won't start the change today. Don't hesitate,
- 8:47Speaker 1: make that change, and then I want you to watch something.
- 8:51Speaker 1: When you change, Watch the difference in you. Notice the
- 8:54Speaker 1: difference in you, feel the difference in you, and guess
- 8:58Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different. If you're watching for the change,
- 9:02Speaker 1: If you're feeling the change, then guess what you're gonna
- 9:05Speaker 1: be different. Man, Watch for the difference, feel the difference.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You will be different. If you're sick and tired of
- 9:11Speaker 1: your situation, folks, you can change that. But the change
- 9:15Speaker 1: is in you. It's a simple decision you had to make.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna change. The change is up to you. You
- 9:21Speaker 1: can decide to day if you want to change, you
- 9:24Speaker 1: want to be different. If you're sitting behind the wall,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I love speaking to the brothers and sisters behind the wall.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If you're behind the wall, man, and you're sick and
- 9:31Speaker 1: tired of being behind the wall, man, why don't you change?
- 9:34Speaker 1: You've thought about that change? Man. If I get back
- 9:37Speaker 1: out there, I'm gonna just do the same thing. Stop
- 9:39Speaker 1: saying that, Stop breathing that negativity into your life. Decide
- 9:43Speaker 1: today that you want to change. You can do it.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Everybody can change. If you don't know how to change,
- 9:48Speaker 1: pray for it. Man, ask God to help you with
- 9:51Speaker 1: the change. Or you get some movement, then partner, you
- 9:54Speaker 1: get a whole lot of movement. Then all right, let's right.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. What's about to go down
- 10:05Speaker 1: is personal. What's about to happen should have your undivided
- 10:09Speaker 1: attention because anything that's personal, that means it involves you.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You are about to be heavily involved in a morning show.
- 10:20Speaker 1: All you're gonna want to hang in there, but you
- 10:22Speaker 1: gotta go to work, gotta take kids school, you gotta
- 10:27Speaker 1: go to sleep. One of the two. Welcome to a problem.
- 10:33Speaker 1: The damn Steve Harvey Morning Show is a problem. If
- 10:38Speaker 1: you use your earbuds at work, we are a problem.

- 10:52Speaker 1: a problem. We got entertainment news for you, We got
- 10:57Speaker 1: all of it. It ain't nothing but a situation. Come on,

- 11:38Speaker 1: for that business. That's right? Everybody good man? Yea? Yeah, Thursday,
- 11:47Speaker 1: Thursday morning, almost the weekend. Yeah, yeah, I think the
- 11:50Speaker 1: week is going by pretty fast. This one went by
- 11:53Speaker 1: really fast. Yeah. Last week was forever. Yeah, it was good.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Not if we were three. Well, it's eighty degrees down
- 12:03Speaker 1: into seventy two in Atlanta today. Yesterday, I mean yesterday
- 12:14Speaker 1: got up to seventy two degrees. Yeah, well that's over
- 12:18Speaker 1: with because it's gonna rain until what Wednesday they're saying,
- 12:23Speaker 1: really in Atlanta. We got to get an art. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I got Houston. Were about the flood. Yes, this weather
- 12:36Speaker 1: ain't no joke, man, No it is not. It is not.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But we're happy to be here. Yeah, you're good. Yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 1: you know, my energy is good. I feel wonderful. You know,
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm blessed. Got a lot of stuff to do today,
- 12:50Speaker 1: had a lot to do. Yesterday was pretty busy, but
- 12:53Speaker 1: busy for me is good. Yeah, it's when I ain't
- 12:56Speaker 1: busy that somethings are happening when that ain't never, so
- 13:01Speaker 1: I guess not busy. You know, I had a meeting
- 13:04Speaker 1: with somebody. I don't want to say who it is
- 13:06Speaker 1: because but they service that they provide us. No, no, no,
- 13:10Speaker 1: they provide a service from me. Well, I could just
- 13:13Speaker 1: say it. I met with my accountant. You know, I'll
- 13:17Speaker 1: never have him to my house ever again. Why I'm
- 13:21Speaker 1: doing taxes or something. Well, you don't like talking to
- 13:24Speaker 1: accounts because they don't. They're not dreamers, they're not vision
- 13:27Speaker 1: they number people. Oh they damn information. Be just a pressing,
- 13:35Speaker 1: all right, Steve coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:37Speaker 1: the hour, asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:40Speaker 1: in the building. Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 13:44Speaker 1: Harvey morning show time now for asked the CLO Chief
- 13:48Speaker 1: Love Officer. Steve Harvey is in the building this one
- 13:51Speaker 1: Steve CLO is from Marista in Los Angeles. She says,
- 13:56Speaker 1: my thirty three year old brother got out of jail
- 13:59Speaker 1: after serving a nine year sentence and he's staying with me.
- 14:02Speaker 1: He's looking for a job. During the day. But in
- 14:05Speaker 1: the spare time he sits in my front. He sits
- 14:08Speaker 1: in my front of my condo building, enjoying fresh air,
- 14:11Speaker 1: smoking his cigarettes. He's tried to hustle up some income
- 14:15Speaker 1: by going door to door asking my neighbors to wash
- 14:18Speaker 1: their cars. Yesterday I got an anonymous note on my
- 14:22Speaker 1: door saying, my brother makes the residence feel uneasy? Is
- 14:25Speaker 1: it because my brother and I are the only blacks
- 14:27Speaker 1: in the building. She wants to know clo Yeah, hell yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 1: what you're thinking about. You get to know the choe
- 14:37Speaker 1: house because he's sitting on steps smoking cigarette. He made
- 14:41Speaker 1: it leave. But he going dough to door asking people.
- 14:43Speaker 1: He can't do that. Now, what your brother need to
- 14:46Speaker 1: do is go down to the car wash and get
- 14:48Speaker 1: the job. Get a job at the car wash, stuff
- 14:52Speaker 1: like that. They don't do no background checks at the
- 14:54Speaker 1: car wash. I've never seen a car wash the background check.
- 15:00Speaker 1: You need to go down now, you know, and and
- 15:03Speaker 1: and take a shot. I appreciate him. All what he
- 15:06Speaker 1: do is he go up to the church and solicit
- 15:09Speaker 1: from the church. He got car detailed company, you know,
- 15:13Speaker 1: get him some buckets and stuff and start washing cars
- 15:16Speaker 1: that way. But if you're going around this white neighborhood
- 15:19Speaker 1: with your ass, with this tank top on, with this
- 15:21Speaker 1: cigarette damion, not caring you live, and a rag on
- 15:24Speaker 1: your head. You're gonna get flagged. I'm telling you right now,
- 15:27Speaker 1: this racial profile and all damn daylight. I'll tell you
- 15:30Speaker 1: what his ass better not to ring my damn dolbell
- 15:32Speaker 1: tell about washing my car? So is it because you're black? Absolutely?
- 15:37Speaker 1: And you know it. Go down to the black church
- 15:42Speaker 1: and start there. Okay, all right? That advice? Yeah, Kimberly
- 15:47Speaker 1: and Montgomery says, I'm divorced and living with my ex
- 15:50Speaker 1: until he recovers from knee surgery. He's been on his
- 15:53Speaker 1: best behavior, and he compliments me on my cooking, which
- 15:56Speaker 1: is a first. I wish he was this nice when
- 15:59Speaker 1: we were married. Friday night, I went out with my
- 16:01Speaker 1: girls and had more than a few drinks. I went
- 16:04Speaker 1: home and there he was, lying on his back. I
- 16:08Speaker 1: took advantage of him and he left me. He's all
- 16:11Speaker 1: googly eyed now thinking we're getting back together. I still
- 16:16Speaker 1: don't want him. I just wanted sex. How can I
- 16:19Speaker 1: get out of this? That's cold? You went out, had
- 16:24Speaker 1: some drinks, he laying on his bag. You slept with
- 16:29Speaker 1: your ex husband. How can you get out of this?
- 16:33Speaker 1: I don't know. You know, because because she did that,
- 16:38Speaker 1: he thinks they're getting back together. I would think so too. Hell, hell,
- 16:45Speaker 1: what you want me to think? You're coming to house
- 16:48Speaker 1: from Friday? I'm laying up here. You know, something wrong
- 16:51Speaker 1: with my knee? You jump on me? Well, you know
- 16:53Speaker 1: I can't do nothing on my knee. So now all
- 16:55Speaker 1: I'm doing is I'm on my back. So now we
- 16:59Speaker 1: already know how this what position this was? So now
- 17:02Speaker 1: you'dn't jumped on me. I'm up for it. Hello, pardoned
- 17:07Speaker 1: upun And now all of a sudden, you know you
- 17:11Speaker 1: genuine now what you want me to do? Yeah, I'm
- 17:20Speaker 1: thinking we're back together. How can you get out of this?
- 17:23Speaker 1: I don't know and really don't give a damn. The
- 17:27Speaker 1: next question Sonya, and Memphis says, I'm fifty and my
- 17:31Speaker 1: husband is ten years older. I Am not trying to
- 17:34Speaker 1: sound insensitive, but he's acting like an old man. He
- 17:37Speaker 1: takes all types of supplements, and we have a humidifier
- 17:41Speaker 1: in our room, so the whole room smells like eucalyptus. Nightly,
- 17:45Speaker 1: he blows his nose and handkerchiefs that stay in his pockets.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And when I take our clothes to the cleaners, I
- 17:50Speaker 1: have to pull the handkerchiefs out. He's changing to my
- 17:53Speaker 1: grandpa and I can't take it. Cello, you don't act
- 17:57Speaker 1: like an old man. Can you give me advice from
- 18:00Speaker 1: my husband? Well, let me tell you something. Okay, I'm
- 18:03Speaker 1: sixty four. I stopped caring handkerchiefs years ago. But think
- 18:12Speaker 1: if if he got to sign us, he got a problem. Now,
- 18:15Speaker 1: this supplements you talking about is to keep him healthy.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I take a lot of supplements. I'll tell you right now.
- 18:23Speaker 1: My peel pack in the morning and my peel packing run.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I praise God for this though, thank God, I'm on
- 18:29Speaker 1: no prescription drugs. I thank God for that all the time.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Praise God. Got off high blood pressure medicine all that
- 18:38Speaker 1: fix that with died in exercise, So I thank God
- 18:41Speaker 1: for that. Not with that said, I do take supplements,
- 18:46Speaker 1: and a lot of them, and so you. But see
- 18:50Speaker 1: what didn't happen is you tied of his age, So
- 18:53Speaker 1: se I don't care what he do. See when you're
- 18:56Speaker 1: not he not a damn humidifying the room smell like
- 18:59Speaker 1: you can emptis all that who don't like that? You
- 19:03Speaker 1: know it ain't ain't like he got it being gay,
- 19:05Speaker 1: open up or dons laying around, you know, vix he
- 19:11Speaker 1: got eucalyptus. You know he trying to but maybe he
- 19:14Speaker 1: got a little something. You just tired of it. You've
- 19:17Speaker 1: been in the house in COVID locked up. Y'all ain't
- 19:20Speaker 1: been nowhere. That's all it is. What should she do?
- 19:24Speaker 1: Just be a little more patient. You're saying, come on now,
- 19:29Speaker 1: you know now if you want to do something else,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you know, going in and have that discussion with it,
- 19:36Speaker 1: but don't leave somebody because y'all going through a down period.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Sit down and have a talk, telling about the things
- 19:41Speaker 1: you concerned with. See, he might have some concerns, see
- 19:44Speaker 1: because you ain't all that either, though, Oh let's see,
- 19:47Speaker 1: no listen to me, no what I try to help
- 19:50Speaker 1: people up. If you sit down and talk about each
- 19:53Speaker 1: other's concerns, you might find it he might have some
- 19:56Speaker 1: concerns too. It's what I'm saying. I can't seeing it
- 20:03Speaker 1: takes two people to have a problem. But she's saying six. Yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 1: pretty much okay. But let me ask you a question, though,
- 20:17Speaker 1: does he have a reason to be has he lost
- 20:19Speaker 1: his sex inness towards you because you lost George towards him?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Could that be the issue? I don't know, but I'm
- 20:27Speaker 1: saying if you all sit down and talk, you may
- 20:31Speaker 1: find out that maybe something's causing him to feel this way.
- 20:35Speaker 1: And y'all need to just reignite the spark that y'all

- 41:45Speaker 1: in college and I was standing on the back stairway
- 41:49Speaker 1: one time and this white guy came by bust through
- 41:51Speaker 1: the doors, and I don't know if he saw me
- 41:53Speaker 1: or not, but he pushed me and I fell down
- 41:55Speaker 1: the steps. I tool the ligaments in my knee, in
- 41:58Speaker 1: my ankle. So I was on crutch and he played football.
- 42:02Speaker 1: So I was on the elevator. I was on crutches
- 42:04Speaker 1: for about three months. About six weeks in, I'm on
- 42:07Speaker 1: the elevator and he got on the elevator with some
- 42:13Speaker 1: fin and I was looking at him and I recognized him.
- 42:17Speaker 1: And then they was drunk and they spit on all
- 42:20Speaker 1: the elevator buttons. No, just drunk white boys playing a
- 42:24Speaker 1: little college playing, you know. And so now I got crunches,
- 42:28Speaker 1: So I take my crutching. I pressed the age floor.
- 42:32Speaker 1: He said, yeah, what'd you do that for? In word?
- 42:35Speaker 1: That was forward them on elevator. Was nobody on there
- 42:38Speaker 1: but me, But you can't call me that partner. I
- 42:40Speaker 1: was eighteen. Oh no, dog, I ain't had no money
- 42:44Speaker 1: and some crutches in your hand. Dog, you got dog.
- 42:49Speaker 1: I took that crutch putting up, and I learned how
- 42:51Speaker 1: to walk on them good. I was on him for
- 42:53Speaker 1: six weeks. I took that crutching fop punched him dead
- 42:57Speaker 1: in his throat. He started a little blood start coming
- 43:00Speaker 1: out of them. White boys jumped on me. They was
- 43:02Speaker 1: warm in my ass, and that door came open on
- 43:06Speaker 1: the fifth floor, and that's where all the blacks played
- 43:09Speaker 1: spades and dominoes by the elevator, and they were stomping me,
- 43:14Speaker 1: and that the door was closing, and I saw that
- 43:17Speaker 1: fifth floor and I threw that crutch in the door,
- 43:20Speaker 1: and then that bumper hit that crutch, and the dude
- 43:22Speaker 1: named Bain say that wonder love. Oh hell no, let
- 43:29Speaker 1: me tell you something. Them brothers came on that elevator. Whoa,
- 43:39Speaker 1: that's that elevator was on that fifth floor for about
- 43:42Speaker 1: five six minutes from the fifth floor. Bro, they was
- 43:46Speaker 1: up in that they was they was about the business two.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I was proud of them. I was real proud of them.
- 43:54Speaker 1: It ain't nothing like a good ass whooping store. I
- 43:56Speaker 1: love them. I've been probably called N word in my
- 44:01Speaker 1: life about somebody white probably six times, really, six times,
- 44:06Speaker 1: yeah total. Every last one of them is a fight.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Oh absolutely yeah. Well if the former president had a
- 44:14Speaker 1: fight about it, you know good. Hell well, m broke
- 44:16Speaker 1: as all right, thank you, Steve coming up next to
- 44:21Speaker 1: nephew in the building with a prying phone call. Right
- 44:24Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 44:29Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour right about four
- 44:31Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject
- 44:35Speaker 1: I'm sick of seeing my husband's ex wife. We'll get
- 44:39Speaker 1: into that in just a little bit. Yeah, but right
- 44:41Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:45Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now, Well, sometimes you gotta
- 44:48Speaker 1: do it, and sometimes you gotta look and search for

- 45:30Speaker 1: if we can actually try to lend you our services.

- 45:42Speaker 1: than the one you have. Now. Who is it? We
- 45:46Speaker 1: are with Wife Correctional Services, sir. WCS. What it is
- 45:50Speaker 1: is we take your wife for a couple of weeks
- 45:52Speaker 1: and we reprogram them so that it's of course you
- 45:55Speaker 1: have to sign a waiver contract, but we take your
- 45:57Speaker 1: wife and we reprogram them so that they will act
- 46:00Speaker 1: in a fashion of what you want them to act.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Oh okay, man, okay, whatever she said? What it is
- 46:07Speaker 1: that we've gotten some We've gotten some reports that you've
- 46:09Speaker 1: been having some problems with with your particular wife. And
- 46:13Speaker 1: I never heard you were you located that we're here
- 46:16Speaker 1: in Saint Louis, sir. Okay, and don't worry. We're totally confidential.
- 46:21Speaker 1: This is not anything that's gonna get out. Um, and
- 46:24Speaker 1: and your your names are never submitted. First of all,
- 46:26Speaker 1: here's here's something we can do. I can ask you
- 46:28Speaker 1: questions because we've been notified that this is probably a
- 46:31Speaker 1: service that you would probably want. Now, Um, has your
- 46:34Speaker 1: wife ever snapped on you in public? And snapped on me?
- 46:39Speaker 1: I mean what I mean she my wife ain't crazy,
- 46:42Speaker 1: se on just snap on me. She might, you know,
- 46:44Speaker 1: try to check me, uh say something. You know what
- 46:46Speaker 1: I'm saying. She just gonna snap on me in probably
- 46:48Speaker 1: so your wife your so, your wife has tried to
- 46:50Speaker 1: check him, It's what you're saying. May not check me,
- 46:52Speaker 1: per se. I mean she might. She might not like
- 46:55Speaker 1: some mom doing and might say something about it. But
- 46:58Speaker 1: so basically your wife is not in her place where
- 47:01Speaker 1: she needs to be hold on, I mean what you
- 47:03Speaker 1: mean another player. I mean she might say something, you know.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I mean I might be doing something more, you know,
- 47:08Speaker 1: might be with my boys and might get out of
- 47:10Speaker 1: control a little bit. She might just say something at
- 47:12Speaker 1: the time, but she don't just try to all out
- 47:14Speaker 1: check nobody. You know what I'm saying. Okay, okay, okay,
- 47:17Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Let me ask you this one.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Have you ever just had some plans with your guys
- 47:20Speaker 1: We're gonna go out, and had to change your plans because, um,
- 47:24Speaker 1: your wife. Well, I mean, if if like I'm just
- 47:27Speaker 1: coming about hanging out and I ain't let her know
- 47:29Speaker 1: or something, she might you know, be like, well, baby
- 47:31Speaker 1: already had plans, you know, Can you stay home with
- 47:33Speaker 1: the boys or something. But I mean, I mean nothing
- 47:36Speaker 1: on the regular, you know, I usually do what I
- 47:38Speaker 1: want to do. Seems like denial. Okay, here's another one, sir, Well, no,
- 47:43Speaker 1: just listen, hear me out. Now, let me ask you this.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Um has your wife Let's say, back when Michael Jordan
- 47:49Speaker 1: was playing basketball, did you ever miss a playoff game
- 47:52Speaker 1: on television because your wife wanted to watch something else? No? Man,
- 47:55Speaker 1: we got two TVs in my house, man, I wish no,
- 47:58Speaker 1: I don't even get down. I mean, I'm I have
- 48:00Speaker 1: to watch the little TV. Okay, but I mean I
- 48:03Speaker 1: usually watch it on the big so yeah. But but
- 48:05Speaker 1: you doing You've been pushed to watching the smaller television. Now,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I wouldn't push to do nothing. Man. What I'm trying
- 48:11Speaker 1: to tell you is, I mean we compromise. We do
- 48:13Speaker 1: fifty fifty in my house. I mean, she might get
- 48:16Speaker 1: the big TV to watch her stories or something, and
- 48:18Speaker 1: I just had to go watch the little TV. Let
- 48:20Speaker 1: TV do go out of here. Wants to see there.
- 48:22Speaker 1: We got so cool with that though. I'm cool with that.
- 48:25Speaker 1: You're cool with that. So you're that you're actually the
- 48:28Speaker 1: one that's programmed. And you ain't nothing wrong with my wife.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with within my family, you know, honestand well.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Let me the reason why I'm asking you these particular
- 48:37Speaker 1: questions is because someone has actually let me know the
- 48:41Speaker 1: problems that are at hand in your household. Let me
- 48:43Speaker 1: ask you. I got one question for you. Here's what
- 48:45Speaker 1: I want to ask you. Has your wife ever cushed
- 48:47Speaker 1: you out at a family cookout? Hey? Man, hold on, man,
- 48:50Speaker 1: you know what you're getting a little personal man. Is
- 48:53Speaker 1: this even a legal man? I'm here, I'm here. I
- 48:58Speaker 1: never heard of this company. I have not I've never
- 49:01Speaker 1: heard of this is something new. It's definitely saying something new.
- 49:05Speaker 1: I mean, don't make me be your guinea pig. Don't
- 49:07Speaker 1: don't start out calling me trying to get you know,
- 49:10Speaker 1: referrals or clientele or whatever it is you trying to do. Man,
- 49:13Speaker 1: don't call me with this nonsense. Partner and I completely
- 49:16Speaker 1: understand it. WCS sir, is here to benefit you, No
- 49:21Speaker 1: benefit to me. Man, getting a look at my personal
- 49:23Speaker 1: business one? And what's going on in mind? Household? Okay, Well,
- 49:26Speaker 1: last thing I want to ask you, and this is
- 49:28Speaker 1: the last question I have for you. Make it, make
- 49:30Speaker 1: this the last I want straight up? Okay, have you
- 49:34Speaker 1: do you do? Do you buy your own clothes? Or
- 49:36Speaker 1: does she buy the clothes? You know what? Man? This man?
- 49:39Speaker 1: You whatever company this is dog, don't call mouse no more?
- 49:43Speaker 1: And whatever put you up to this? Whoever give you
- 49:45Speaker 1: my number? Talking about my wife? Checked me or got

- 49:51Speaker 1: him too, don't call me no more? This are you are? You?
- 49:55Speaker 1: Are you in denying? Don't call house no more? I'm

- 50:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying you're calling my house, I'm minding my
- 50:25Speaker 1: own and as you're worrying about who were watching what's
- 50:28Speaker 1: TV in my house? And my wife checking me in public?
- 50:31Speaker 1: I want man, Hey, doll, look, I'm telling you, mister,
- 50:34Speaker 1: don't you want to watch the big television? Big TV? Man,

- 50:46Speaker 1: when you want to go out with my partners? Dog?
- 50:48Speaker 1: Not a fact you need to get partners. You call asking,
- 50:52Speaker 1: don't dumb listen what you want to do to me,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and your wife has already done to you. I see
- 50:57Speaker 1: you got the damn number block. What's your phone number? Man,

- 55:16Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you enough. Subject. I'm
- 55:20Speaker 1: sick of seeing my husband's ex wife. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I have been married for five years, and it's a
- 55:27Speaker 1: second marriage for us both. My issue is my forty
- 55:31Speaker 1: six year old stepdaughter that has been inviting her mother
- 55:34Speaker 1: everywhere for years. My husband divorced his first wife in
- 55:38Speaker 1: nineteen eighty seven, and his daughter is still including this
- 55:42Speaker 1: woman and all of our family functions. The ex wife
- 55:46Speaker 1: is the daughter's best friend and they do everything together.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with them being best friends,
- 55:52Speaker 1: but I draw the line at her coming to family
- 55:55Speaker 1: functions that I throw My husband's ex wife is still
- 55:58Speaker 1: close with his parents and they exchange presents at every
- 56:01Speaker 1: birthday and for Christmas. I've said something to my in laws,
- 56:06Speaker 1: so they slacked off from spending so much time with her.
- 56:09Speaker 1: It's my stepchild and my husband that don't understand that
- 56:12Speaker 1: the ex wife should get a life and go be around,
- 56:16Speaker 1: go be with her own husband. Yes, she's remarried and
- 56:20Speaker 1: her new marriage is in jeopardy because of her daughter
- 56:23Speaker 1: being all in the mix. My stepdaughter hates the new
- 56:27Speaker 1: husband because he's asked her to stop popping up with
- 56:29Speaker 1: her kids. My husband took his daughter's side and encourages
- 56:34Speaker 1: her to be rude to this man. I have asked
- 56:36Speaker 1: my husband how he'd feel if I had a grown
- 56:39Speaker 1: daughter and that's always around us and she brings my
- 56:42Speaker 1: ex husband to events at our home. He said he
- 56:45Speaker 1: wouldn't like it one bit, but I should understand that
- 56:47Speaker 1: a mother daughter bond can't be broken. So I finally
- 56:51Speaker 1: told my stepdaughter to stop bringing her mom to my house,
- 56:54Speaker 1: and she told me it's her dad's home too. I'm
- 56:58Speaker 1: fighting a never ending back and I need your advice.
- 57:01Speaker 1: How can I stop this woman from popping up? Okay,
- 57:06Speaker 1: let me just say that everyone in this family. This
- 57:10Speaker 1: letter is crazy except you and your in laws. Apparently,
- 57:14Speaker 1: at least your in laws have a good sense to
- 57:16Speaker 1: back off after you spoke to them. But this forty
- 57:19Speaker 1: six year old daddy's girl, her mama, and your husband
- 57:22Speaker 1: are ridiculous. The daughter because she's disrespectful to you of course,
- 57:27Speaker 1: to your marriage to her dad, and she knows it.
- 57:29Speaker 1: She knows what she's doing. Her mama because she's got
- 57:33Speaker 1: a whole husband at home, and she still can't say
- 57:37Speaker 1: no to her grown daughter and won't miss a chance
- 57:40Speaker 1: to come to your events. What is this about. Her
- 57:43Speaker 1: husband is sick of it and their marriage is in trouble.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Your husband is an idiot because he lets all of
- 57:49Speaker 1: this go down and sees nothing wrong with his ex
- 57:52Speaker 1: crashing all your functions, and he won't check his daughter.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I mean the line about the mother daughter bond that
- 58:01Speaker 1: can't be broken. That's crazy. It's not about the mother
- 58:05Speaker 1: daughter bond. It's about your marriage and how you're feeling,
- 58:09Speaker 1: and the fact that he won't check his own daughter.
- 58:12Speaker 1: This daughter is really sad because she obviously obviously has
- 58:16Speaker 1: no life, She has no friends, and so she drags
- 58:18Speaker 1: mommy everywhere she goes. Then mommy. She can't be wrapped
- 58:24Speaker 1: too tightly. I'm thinking, because she goes, whether she's invited
- 58:28Speaker 1: or not, they don't want you there. You don't want
- 58:31Speaker 1: her at your home. All it would take is one
- 58:33Speaker 1: word from your husband, and I think this situation could
- 58:36Speaker 1: probably be cleared up like that, and you know they'd
- 58:40Speaker 1: stop all these shenanikins. But he says, you know, it's
- 58:43Speaker 1: the stupid stuff like the mother daughter bond. Like I
- 58:46Speaker 1: mentioned so to you, I say, instead of talking to
- 58:49Speaker 1: his in laws, which you did and that worked and
- 58:53Speaker 1: this big baby daughter of his, talk to him, sent
- 58:57Speaker 1: him down, Talk to him, tell him how you feel,
- 59:00Speaker 1: how you know this is out of hand. How you
- 59:02Speaker 1: know you want to change the locks? You don't want
- 59:05Speaker 1: her invite it anymore. How this is making a mess
- 59:08Speaker 1: of your marriage and it needs to change immediately. And
- 59:12Speaker 1: see where you go from there, Steve, this is a
- 59:15Speaker 1: stupid letter, it really is. First of all, Shirley hit
- 59:18Speaker 1: it completely on the head completely. She nailed it in
- 59:24Speaker 1: ether in every area. So what do I bring to
- 59:31Speaker 1: this letter? What do I have to add? You know,
- 59:38Speaker 1: I think this calls for a sermon, all right. I
- 59:43Speaker 1: think that when we come back deaf Jam and Reverend
- 59:50Speaker 1: Motown will cover this letter. It only a way that
- 59:56Speaker 1: they can coming up. Our response to what they say
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: is I'm sick or seeing my husband bush x y good,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: damn Lord. After this sermon, thank you, Pastor. We'll have
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: minutes after a subject I'm sick of seeing my husband's
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: ex wife. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right? Come on, Steve, should
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I say, Pastor and Deacon, let's recap today's strawberry letter
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the subject I'm sick of seeing my husband's ex wife.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: We are going to approach this from a pond to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: lithical and by Garius Waiting. First of all, the subject
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: is I'm sick or seeing my husband's ex wife. We're
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: changing the subject to I bet not see your ass again.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I bet night deal, Steven Shirley. I've been married for
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: five years and it's second marriage for both of us.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: My issue is my old ass step daughter forty six
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: years old? Why is we calling her or step daughter?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: At forty six, You're too old for us to be
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: referred to as step You're just grown as woman in
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: the way, in the way. She's been inviting her mother
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: everywhere for years. My husband divorced his first wife in
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: nineteen eighty seven. There's two years after the eighty five
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Maximus came out with I loved Deally, I didn't know,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: nobody didn't want to eighty five Maxim. Well, this helper
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: was two years after that. If that ain't got has
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: being wrote on it. You tell me what do his
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: daughter still including this woman in all our family functions.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: The ex wife is the daughter's best friend, and they
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: do everything together. Well, let me say this, if you
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: forty six stepdaughter inviting your mama everywhere, all over the
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: new husband house, all over the new wife's house, all
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: over the people's house. I got one thing to save
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: by that, the sad daughter, the old ad woman ain't
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: got no man. I bet you she ain't got no man.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: It's right there in the letter. It's in the letter.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: She say. I don't have a problem with them being
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: best friend, but I draw the line at her coming
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: to family functions that I throw who. I'm asking you
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: a question, deacon, who it is healthful think she is?
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: That she coming to a barbecue where I bought all
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the reels were path and then we maybe we need
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: to fix her plate that she will never forget. You
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. Oh okay, yeah, if you remember
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: from the movie The Help, that's fix her a nice
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: pie and put something inny. You know now that ain't
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: even a whole movie yet. My hold of the wife
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: is close with the parents. The exchange presents every day.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Oh here we go, oh ho ho hole, Oh we
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: sand it Claude. Now, oh now, we got gifts for
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: this healthy she coming over with Crysta bringing bags and
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: got names and drawing names and everything. Ain't that funking hum? Well?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I tell you what this Christmas is gonna be different.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Bring something else over here with a box in it. Uh,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you're gonna get there. You're gonna carry that box back
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: out of here, and you ain't gonna need no handles
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: on the bag. You hear what I'm saying. The subject
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: of the letter is I bet not see your ass
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: no more again. That's right, that's right, that's the text.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: That's the go ahead. My stepchild and husband don't understand
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that his ex wife should get a life. Well, she
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: has a life because she has remarried. But the marriage
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: is in jepper because the forty six yo keep going
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: over her house too, back over to your house, back
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: over to her house, and bringing him ragging the head
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: baby kids with him. Amen. Amen, this is jemper dies
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: and not only the mama's happiness, but now your happiness.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: And you know why because she ain't happy forty six
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: about to be forty self. Kids, ain't no man, ain't
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: nobody on the horizon. I bet, I bet not see
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: your ass again. My husband took his daughter's side, and
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: it encourages her to be rude to this man because
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: he don't like hu. Well, the only thing I have
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: for you he talking about it. You don't understand that
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: a mother daughter bond shouldn't be broken. That's a true statement.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: You might not be able to break that mother daughter ball.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I can break something off in somebody rein if they
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: come over one more damn. That's how you break it.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: And that's how you break it. That's the reason we
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: did a sermon because Shirley coveted so well. Post your
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: comments on today Strawberry letter and Steve Harvey got nothing
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: over here for your bot communion over here coming up.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: It is our girl from the talk Cheryl Underwood. Right
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour Carla's Reality Update.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: But right now, please Steve introduce our girl from the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Talk ladies and gentlemen. Here she is Sheryl Underwood. Yeah,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. Having a Steve Harvey Morning south Man. Listen. Yeah,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: y'all wild as. I don't know what so I heard
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: y'all over that swap and spit and drawing blood. Found
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: out where y'all from? Yes, yes, Yl did it? Yes? Okay,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Shirley Scriwberry. Where are you from from? Your true African republics?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Over there b Cameroon and the student Congo? See all that,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I see that, I see it in up Tom, I
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: see all that. I see the Congo. Now where you're from?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Call us Ghana? Mean too, girl, I went to Ghana. Listen,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I was so. I went to Ghana for real? Okay,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: it was for real. I went to k Coast Castle,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: cried mad and white folk all the way, playing trip
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: back just elbowing people down the aisle, doing no return,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: no joke. Make you angry, yeah, lord, oh yeah, it
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: makes you angry. The reason I went is because Zata
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Pi Beta has a library there under one of our triumphants, Sorr.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I Sorr married Singletary. She helped us put the clinic
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: together there. Uh and we have a library there. But anyway,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: it does make you unhappy. But I had a picture
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: of my father. Uh. Sea Harvey had picture my father
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: and and the man from Gonna snatched the picture from
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: it said where did you get a picture of me?
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I said, that's my father. I snatched the back. He said,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it is a picture of me. I said with him,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: we need to go on Mary Popitch because obviously somebody
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: didn't whine to me because everybody I knew in my
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: family I could see from Gunna. But okay, so Steve,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: don't you want to know where I'm from? What part
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: of Africa I'm from? Fair Facts? Right off fair Facts,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I think, right off of that. Come to Los Angeles
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: you you will see all the African people over all.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Fair Facts is eth open neighborhood. I go down there.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I think that's where. Yeah. Now I heard y'all watching
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: what y'all watching the British show with the black dude?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Oh down, what y'all y'all watching the Steve just started.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: We've all seen it. Steve just started. We've all seen it.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I don't have to watch it. Me and Junior make
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: bridges and at the crib and now three you were
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: going with that shirt. Listen and tell y'all. Ue, you
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: better tell Peple what's happening. Zue. You had a little
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: little rough shirt on speaking at an accent. You bet
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you better say it over that. You better let these
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: people know why I'm swoon it and over that's what
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I'm talking. Oh, that's what get me? Who jesus, my
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: shoe fell off? Sorry, Jude, We're out of time. Who
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: out of time? We are coming up now. I will
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: be back next week for the next episode of Junior
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: in bridgeton Colin's Reality Update right after this. You're listening,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: all right, come on, tell me introduced and she is here.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Let's go. It's that time. It's time for Reality Update
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: with Colin Farrell once again. Reality Update. All right, thank you,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: neph you well, I mean really earlier this week it
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: wasn't Tuesday. We already did the recap. I did the
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: recap of Real Housewives of Atlanta, the whole crazy Bachelor
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Red Party, Sipping Bachelor Red Party, with the stripper and
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: the sex swings and the swings. We pretty much covered
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: all of that, So I think it's time for me
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: to turn it over to my segment partner in crime,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Missus Party. Yeah, well, you know what he's been telling us.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: You know, he told us about this new show he's
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: been watching. Sheryl kind of mentioned it on Netflix. So
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: tell everybody what you went to now, mister Steve Harvard, Well,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: I just found this new show on Netflix called Bridget
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: that's just popped up on my screen. I ain't never
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: seen it. Sean Ja Rymes came out with a hot
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: one and it's in the eighteen hundreds and it's got
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: blacks and white on there, and they all got equal position,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and the queen is black and all this here, but
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: they don't never mention race in it. So if black
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: dudes walking around with white British hair and riding the
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: horses and own stuff, and black people in charge of
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: stuff and talking crazy to white people and saying nothing
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: because they're scared of them, and then you know, the
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: white people love black people and black people love the
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: white people, and don't nobody mentioned it? And the leading
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: dude and that I'm only on episode three, the leading
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: dude's a handsome debon there black dude and held the
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: white guild and fell for him, and now he over there,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: he working her ass. Half help. You know, he didn't
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: taught her the game because she trying to get picked
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: at the what looked like a debortante ball or something.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: They were trying to get chosen and everything. All these squads,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: dudes trying to run up on them. Ain't none of
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: them got game, just run up on them, talking about
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: what pedigree from family they're in and all this hell.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: When the black dude he don't want to have no
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: kids because he ain't like his damn daddy, because the
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: daddy treated him black a moss. And I hated him
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: too because the star used to have a stuttering problem
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: and all I saw was me, So I liked him
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: right away. So you have me and him hated his daddy,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: But I love my real daddy because he told me,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: don't worry about that, studdy, just go make some money.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: You can be stupid if you want to. And so
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: that's what that encouraged me. He said, Bore, don't worry
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: about that. You ain't really stupid. Don't even worry about that.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: You just can't talk outside of here. You got good
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: ass sense, you don't be something. So anyway, so this
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: white lady got these three or daughters, Yes, and she
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: got full really yeah. Yeah. And this chick that's the mama.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: It's the same chick that was in the Roman thing
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: on HBO. She was the hot grandhead na in rome
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: the HBO series called rome O. So y'all don't know
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: nothing about this because I watched period pieces. Oh, so
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: y'all didn't get caught up. She the one that slept
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: with Caesar on the side. And so she plays the
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: mother in this hill. Have no idea what her name is.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: So she got the three of frumpy or daughters, and
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: she got one of them that's supposed to be the
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: cute one. But she really ain't. She ain't fine, you
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: know at all. I don't. I don't see what nobody
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: seeing that little thing right there. She ain't got no
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: body nothing. Just before we run out of time, can
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you wrap up bridgeton for us? And anyway, the dude
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: is a player, The black dude's a player. Here duke
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: and the prince came from Russia. Sweep off his feet.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: But she liked the black dude and not a black
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: dude got to marry her for honor. And you fit
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: to have a dude with a brother gonna kill his brother,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: be in a whooping the dude's ass. It's all over
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the place. Yeah, but I mean episode me and all
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I saw. Now the black dude now got the married
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: white girl, but he don't really want to. But they
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: don't know nobody white and black Inhill. So I'm just
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: adding you hood commentary because ain't no black and white
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: people in there. They just people. But you can tell
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: they black and white though. All that's how I'm watching it.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Ask black and white people. I don't know what Chandra
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: had in mind. Beautiful way she did. We'll be back
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: with more of The Steve Harvey Morning Show twenty after.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Right after asked me anytime you're listening to the Steve
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well in trending breakfast news, since we're
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: on at breakfast time, A narcotic sniffer dog at the
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Port of Cincinnati investigated what looked like to be a
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: perfectly innocent shipment of frosted cereal, only to discover that
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: the sugarcoating was in fact a large amount of cocaine.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Yes in the cereal, Yes on the cereal. Wow, that
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: was clever. Though Vico, a narcotic detector dog with US
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Customs and Border Protection, uncovered a hall of drugs and
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: a shipment of breakfast cereal from South America that was
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: headed to Hong Kong Officers. White powder and the flakes
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: were coated in a grayish substance after the dog alerted
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: them on the shipment. The value of the drug was
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: estimated at get this guy's two point eight million dollars,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: almost three million dollars. Somebody in Hong Kong is upset, Padna.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: I don't Hong Kong, but you can't let them keys
