- Greg: Yeah, I I I remember whenever C Harvey said that, my we were actually watching that and my d my dad was watching that. Wow. My dad looked at me and he said, That's exactly the way I am. I want you to make sure that whatever you're doing, that I'm teaching you how to be to do everything better than me. And I just I cried everything at the time. I mean my my father was my best Charles: My my best friend and so we're very close. I mean Greg: I was just caretaker the last two years of his life, but no just being a caretaker as a who Charles: as a mentor as a person who basically shuffled me all over the place playing banjo and Dobro as a musician. He was our ⁓ he was our driver for the band back when I was a high school, all the way from when I was fifteen years old. And and you know I Greg: I was blessed, I was spoiled, and I was lucky. My dad would ever tell me now and he always always there for me. And I was ⁓ I was one extremely lucky to have one of the most spiritual Charles: That never never tell now. Driven fathers I I'd ever met in in the world. But at the same time being pragmatic also, he wasn't just Greg: a lot of feathers would be just to be overly spiritual or just be overly this or overly that. And my dad had a Charles: equal balance on every single level and ⁓ he was an incredible father and and so I got blessed with that. I got lucky with that. And I had that feeling. But you know, I you know, it's like you said, what Steve Harvey said, I mean the biggest thing I I mean I have eight stepchildren and ⁓ six stepdaughters. And I w a better person than I am and and in my partner Greg: And I know a lot of other people do not. I got two children on my own then. Want them all to just be Partner is a ⁓ Charles: We want them to to not make the mistakes that we did. And teach them that. I mean 'cause I made a lot of mistakes and teaching them how not to repeat those and be better.
