- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded, y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's through good together. Please I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join me. You gotta use that turning you
- 1:22Speaker 1: are you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out, then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back. Uh huh. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall well, Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Arvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man, Old man. Old Man symbolizes
- 2:15Speaker 1: just one thing to me. Man, It's just a constant
- 2:17Speaker 1: remind of exactly how good God has been to me
- 2:20Speaker 1: over the years. And I thank him for it too,
- 2:22Speaker 1: because I realize every day that I wake up that
- 2:25Speaker 1: I would be nothing without him. That everything I am,
- 2:29Speaker 1: that's any good in me, I owe to him. Now.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Have I made some mistakes along the way? Yep? Bunches,
- 2:37Speaker 1: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:41Speaker 1: along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I
- 2:46Speaker 1: have in the past, because a lot of stuff I
- 2:49Speaker 1: know better now. But you're still going to make mistakes now,
- 2:54Speaker 1: you know, Hopefully I've limited the amount of intentional eras
- 3:00Speaker 1: in my life. I've wiped quite a few of those out.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But from time to time, because we're human, we're going
- 3:07Speaker 1: to make a mistake every now and then. The trick
- 3:10Speaker 1: what it is, y'all, it's not to let the devil
- 3:12Speaker 1: deceive you into thinking that once you make that mistake
- 3:15Speaker 1: that that's it. You can't do it. You're falling off
- 3:18Speaker 1: the wagon. You can't reboard it. That's the biggest trick
- 3:23Speaker 1: that he uses. He makes you think that if you
- 3:26Speaker 1: keep stumbling, that you can't run the race. It kind
- 3:33Speaker 1: of reminds me of a marathon runner. From time to
- 3:37Speaker 1: time I watch him on TV, and you'll see some
- 3:40Speaker 1: people who finish the race, you know, in a in
- 3:45Speaker 1: a nice pace. You see people finish the race sprinting
- 3:50Speaker 1: towards the finish line. But every now and then you'll
- 3:53Speaker 1: watch a marathon and you'll see a runner and the
- 3:57Speaker 1: runner is in really, really bad shape. The key is
- 4:05Speaker 1: they finish the race. See, you don't get disqualified in
- 4:10Speaker 1: the marathon because you stumble. You don't. They don't. They
- 4:14Speaker 1: don't take your opportunity to finish the race because you
- 4:19Speaker 1: keep falling. That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 4:27Speaker 1: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 4:31Speaker 1: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 4:35Speaker 1: out the race. Well, that's not the case. And see
- 4:39Speaker 1: and then this thing called life, let me help you
- 4:41Speaker 1: understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 4:45Speaker 1: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear as some
- 4:49Speaker 1: people running faster than you, and all like this. And
- 4:52Speaker 1: some people gonna get to the end before you let
- 4:55Speaker 1: them go ahead. And when the end come, the end come.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I ain't in the rush to get to the end.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But in this race, though, when you're stumbling and you're falling,
- 5:03Speaker 1: it's a part of it. No one gets through this
- 5:07Speaker 1: race without stumbling and falling, swaying from side to side.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So don't let the enemy deceive you into thinking that
- 5:15Speaker 1: it's over. I try to be encouraging to people because
- 5:20Speaker 1: I don't want people to get stuck on this thing,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you know. And my walk is very different from a
- 5:25Speaker 1: lot of people's walks. And then I know a lot
- 5:27Speaker 1: of people who walking in faith the way I'm walking
- 5:30Speaker 1: in faith. But my thing in the morning is just
- 5:33Speaker 1: to remind those that is not a perfect walk man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: that it's not something that's set up where you're gonna
- 5:40Speaker 1: be skipping through life scot free without any pitfalls. You know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I keep saying it over and over and over again because,
- 5:48Speaker 1: like I said, when I was in DC, my boy
- 5:51Speaker 1: Hondo said this to me, and it just kind of
- 5:54Speaker 1: stuck with me that the road to construct, the road
- 5:56Speaker 1: to successes always under construction. You have to figure and
- 6:01Speaker 1: count on the setbacks and the pitfalls. But it's those
- 6:05Speaker 1: people that that that that fight through will be the
- 6:10Speaker 1: victors in the end. You cannot give up, man, Stop
- 6:13Speaker 1: going somewhere sitting down every time something goes down. It's
- 6:18Speaker 1: going to go down. It's a part of it. It's
- 6:22Speaker 1: going to happen. It's going to occur that are going
- 6:26Speaker 1: to be setbacks. If you go and sit down every
- 6:29Speaker 1: time there's a setback, that's not how this works. It
- 6:34Speaker 1: is designed that way. If success were easy, everybody would
- 6:39Speaker 1: be successful. But success is just reserved for those who
- 6:43Speaker 1: are willing to fight through, who refuse to settle for mediocrity,
- 6:48Speaker 1: who wants something more. Now, don't get me wrong. Success
- 6:53Speaker 1: is defined by each individual. So what I may consider
- 6:57Speaker 1: to be successful. You may not consider that. You know
- 7:01Speaker 1: what Bill Gates considers successful. I might not consider what
- 7:05Speaker 1: Michael Jordan considers successful. I might not consider what you
- 7:09Speaker 1: consider successful. Your boss might not consider. You have to
- 7:13Speaker 1: define what that is for yourself. It may not be
- 7:16Speaker 1: monetary at all. You know, your level of success could
- 7:20Speaker 1: be tied up in community service. It could be tied
- 7:23Speaker 1: up in family. It could be tied up into church.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Your level of success could be tied up into boys clubs.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It could be any number of things. Whatever your level
- 7:34Speaker 1: of success is, you have to determine what that is
- 7:38Speaker 1: you and the best way to determine that is to
- 7:41Speaker 1: get in touch with your maker, who created you, to
- 7:45Speaker 1: find out what your mission and your purpose is so
- 7:49Speaker 1: he can put you on track. I just had this
- 7:52Speaker 1: conversation with my son and we were talking about getting
- 7:56Speaker 1: on the path that God has set up for you.
- 7:59Speaker 1: So how many times we find ourselves fighting through life
- 8:03Speaker 1: because of so much uncertainty, because we have no idea
- 8:07Speaker 1: where we're headed. It's like one of my own sayings
- 8:13Speaker 1: that I have at my mentoring camp for boys is
- 8:16Speaker 1: is that a boy without a male role model is
- 8:21Speaker 1: like an explorer without a map. See if you don't
- 8:26Speaker 1: have a map laid out in front of you of
- 8:30Speaker 1: where you're going when you wake up every day, that
- 8:34Speaker 1: pretty much explains the feeling of confusion. The laxidaisical attitude,
- 8:41Speaker 1: the lack of purpose, to not understanding your mission because
- 8:48Speaker 1: you don't have not gotten in touch with your creator
- 8:51Speaker 1: to find out exactly what your path in life is.
- 8:56Speaker 1: What are you supposed to be doing? The moment you
- 8:59Speaker 1: can identify that is the moment that you get started
- 9:03Speaker 1: waking up with purpose, with the sense of direction. When
- 9:07Speaker 1: you kill the sense of I don't know what's next
- 9:10Speaker 1: or what to do. Now, there's going to be some
- 9:12Speaker 1: confusing moments no matter what happened, it's going to be
- 9:14Speaker 1: some uncertainty, but at least you'll know where you're going.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So if you're tied a waking up feeling loss, abandon confused,
- 9:23Speaker 1: don't know what to do, don't know what you're supposed
- 9:26Speaker 1: to be doing, refer back to your makeup. Because when
- 9:31Speaker 1: He created you, he had a plan for you. When
- 9:35Speaker 1: he created you, he had a path for you. Now
- 9:38Speaker 1: we've made some decisions to get off of both of those,
- 9:41Speaker 1: the mission and the path. But God can get you
- 9:44Speaker 1: right back on track. Do that today asking what you're
- 9:49Speaker 1: supposed to be doing and listen. God has all the
- 9:54Speaker 1: answers if you form the relationship. Okay, show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: without further ado, It is time for the Steve Harvey
- 10:07Speaker 1: Morning Show. Did I say it's time yet? Yeah? Even
- 10:13Speaker 1: I wasn't ready. Steve Harvey more the show. Hey, good
- 10:16Speaker 1: morning Steve. You're ready now though, baby, Yeah for show?

- 11:38Speaker 1: He stopped right away. Why did you say you were bad?
- 11:41Speaker 1: I just said Junior was worse than you. Junior, total
- 11:45Speaker 1: different era. Though. I don't say that shirt. Oh, I
- 11:51Speaker 1: was just getting Steve. Steve Web said, if I just
- 11:54Speaker 1: said the OJ, he'll stop. What But Junior, you do
- 11:57Speaker 1: think you don't know it? You don't know everything? Well,
- 12:02Speaker 1: you know what I think. I think we should have
- 12:05Speaker 1: a trivial game, a game like race, and have it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think Carl and Shirley, she asked musical questions only
- 12:18Speaker 1: of Junior and Thomas. Ain't no need to include me? No,
- 12:25Speaker 1: because you know mops. Stay asked what it depends on?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Matter nothing? Now? I don't think you could if it
- 12:35Speaker 1: was the nineties, you couldn't beat Julian When what was that?
- 12:38Speaker 1: The era? Great music is gone? It ain't hear it
- 12:40Speaker 1: ain't then? It ain't that damn show? Ain't the two thousands?
- 12:50Speaker 1: What do you think the best era? What's the best decade? Seventies? Sam,
- 12:55Speaker 1: it was nothing greater than the seventies. Eighties was still oh?
- 13:00Speaker 1: The eighties? Eighties was moster hits? Now? Yeah, seventies birth
- 13:05Speaker 1: all of it. Let me let me take you through
- 13:08Speaker 1: the seventies right quick? How much time I got? Give
- 13:10Speaker 1: me some seconds? Thirty seconds? Pebo Bryson, Yes, Al Green YEA,
- 13:16Speaker 1: Marv and Gay Yes, Luther van Drowsy Yeah, doors altd
- 13:23Speaker 1: ya oh James h huh yeah, you need moro? What
- 13:29Speaker 1: say something? Say something, say something, say song. We gotta
- 13:35Speaker 1: go coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour
- 13:38Speaker 1: and get ready for Ask the CEO. And I think
- 13:40Speaker 1: this music thing is gonna last for a little bit too.
- 13:42Speaker 1: We'll see right after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, time now for Ask the Clo. Listen if
- 13:50Speaker 1: you need advice from the cello or the cloth as
- 13:54Speaker 1: Tommy calls him, Uh, the TIF love Officer. Hell yeah,
- 13:59Speaker 1: submit your questions to Steve Harvey FM dot com. Steve
- 14:02Speaker 1: Harvey in the building. Are you ready, sir? All right?
- 14:07Speaker 1: This one is from Kendrick in Atlanta. No, not Kendrick
- 14:11Speaker 1: lamar Well. Kendrick says, I've been in a great relationship
- 14:15Speaker 1: for three years with my girl. She's got a great body,
- 14:18Speaker 1: mind and spirit, and we have great sex life. We
- 14:22Speaker 1: have a great sex life. Her twenty six year old
- 14:24Speaker 1: daughter is the spitting image of her, but a lot
- 14:29Speaker 1: more freaky. I've never seen anything like it, and she
- 14:32Speaker 1: got me caught up in a situation that I want
- 14:34Speaker 1: to stop, but I can't. We've been having wild and
- 14:38Speaker 1: crazy sex in her mama's house whenever we can. It
- 14:45Speaker 1: was fun at first, but it's exhausting now and I
- 14:48Speaker 1: don't want to get caught. I had a talk with
- 14:51Speaker 1: the daughter and it ended up in an oral exchange.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I needed to avoid her altogether. What can I do?
- 15:00Speaker 1: They then new dog just would for you. If you
- 15:03Speaker 1: don't end this immediately, it's gonna come to the light.
- 15:06Speaker 1: It's probably gonna come to the light anyway. Somebody gonna
- 15:10Speaker 1: know this is a no win situation, sir, especially if
- 15:16Speaker 1: you're crazy about the mama. But if you was crazy
- 15:18Speaker 1: about the mama, you wouldn't be doing it with a
- 15:19Speaker 1: daughter or something. And do it all the way up,
- 15:22Speaker 1: you know, do it? Yeah, go go ahead, father Tommy's
- 15:25Speaker 1: dumb ass advice and just going to ride it all
- 15:29Speaker 1: the way out and then pay the literally ride it
- 15:32Speaker 1: sexual way out of it, you know, or sexual way further.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Somebody's gonna end up pregnant. Oh I hope not, Mamma. Okay,
- 15:41Speaker 1: um Kendall and omaha, uh wow, omaha. That's the first.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Kendall says. I'm twenty five years old and I think
- 15:48Speaker 1: my best friend may be a racist We've been friends
- 15:52Speaker 1: in seventh grade and we are roommates. Her twenty seven
- 15:56Speaker 1: year old brother is so fine and he's always been
- 15:59Speaker 1: flirty with so we finally hooked up. The sex was amazing,
- 16:04Speaker 1: and he told me I should break the news to
- 16:07Speaker 1: his sister. I told her that her brother and I
- 16:11Speaker 1: hooked up. She told me there's just no way her
- 16:14Speaker 1: brother would date me, and he could do much better.
- 16:17Speaker 1: She stopped talking to me after that. Is she grossed
- 16:20Speaker 1: out because I hooked up with her brother? Or is
- 16:22Speaker 1: she mad because I'm black and he's white, both of them?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Either way? Either way, she don't think much of you.
- 16:30Speaker 1: She said he could do better. Now, you can relate
- 16:34Speaker 1: that to your color or your character as a person.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Either way, it's the same if a person don't like you,
- 16:40Speaker 1: a character your person. I don't like you because the
- 16:42Speaker 1: color of your skin. Either way, she threw with you
- 16:45Speaker 1: because you just slept with her brother and their roommates.
- 16:48Speaker 1: You know she threw with you. She don't see you
- 16:50Speaker 1: as right for her brother. Is she erased as possible?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Very possible? But you know she don't want you with
- 16:57Speaker 1: her brother regardless. Now you can all so look at
- 17:00Speaker 1: it like this. Most women who have a brother don't
- 17:06Speaker 1: think nobody good enough for their brother, really, right, right?
- 17:09Speaker 1: They get real protective. So it could be just that,
- 17:14Speaker 1: you know, and so now you know he say, break
- 17:18Speaker 1: the news to a girl and tell her you told her. Yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 1: now you find out how she feel about you. Now
- 17:23Speaker 1: does that stop you from seeing him? That's up to you.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Might run into something else when you go over there
- 17:27Speaker 1: and tell her. Tell her daddy that though, and their roommates, Steve,
- 17:32Speaker 1: don't forget that part. If she is racist, she didn't
- 17:34Speaker 1: get it by herself. Hello, see you at the dinner Sunday.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Guess coming to dinner? Right? All right, chief love offer.
- 17:47Speaker 1: We're moving on, Jayden. Don't not on your head? Huh,
- 17:52Speaker 1: don't don't go in the house with nothing on your head?
- 17:54Speaker 1: What do you mean like what? Nothing like that? You know? Oh?
- 18:00Speaker 1: Tied up in the front. You tell me I could weep?
- 18:09Speaker 1: All right? Uh? We're moving me real. You need help.
- 18:13Speaker 1: J D is an iHeartRadio app listener. J D says,
- 18:17Speaker 1: back in August of twenty fifteen, I met a young
- 18:20Speaker 1: lady on a dating app. After going to dinner and
- 18:23Speaker 1: hitting it off, she asked me how I felt about
- 18:25Speaker 1: children in turn. She told me she was four months pregnant.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I didn't care, and we dated for almost two years.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I helped her take care of the child that I
- 18:34Speaker 1: have no biological ties to. The first chance she got,
- 18:38Speaker 1: she went right back to her child's father. It's been
- 18:42Speaker 1: three years and I would still take her back if
- 18:45Speaker 1: she came back to me. I dreamed of marrying her
- 18:48Speaker 1: and having a family. I feel used and confused. How
- 18:52Speaker 1: did I mess this up? Where did I go wrong?
- 18:56Speaker 1: She did what she wanted to do. To say, your fault.
- 18:59Speaker 1: You can't blame yourself for this woman going back to
- 19:02Speaker 1: her ex and all like this here. You can't blame
- 19:05Speaker 1: yourself for that. It's just like women who always want
- 19:08Speaker 1: to find something wrong with them when they do go
- 19:10Speaker 1: off and do something stupid. It ain't your fault. She
- 19:13Speaker 1: did this. This ain't you you, And don't take her
- 19:17Speaker 1: back because she can have another episode. Just going about
- 19:21Speaker 1: your business. Man, you can meet anybody to have family with.
- 19:24Speaker 1: That's what you are, not just anybody, but you. You
- 19:27Speaker 1: can find somebody, treat you right, love you and all
- 19:29Speaker 1: this and let her go. Man advice, you can give
- 19:34Speaker 1: her the hell of a conversation you had a four
- 19:36Speaker 1: months pregnant too, so yeah, I don't know how you
- 19:39Speaker 1: work your way through that, but oh wow. Yeah, and
- 19:43Speaker 1: he was the baby's father for two years, not no more.
- 19:48Speaker 1: All right, well, why why we have a little time
- 19:50Speaker 1: with the baby's daddy for two years? Yeah? Yeah he
- 19:53Speaker 1: got yeah, yeah, all right, Well while we have a
- 19:59Speaker 1: little more time, Steve, if you and Junior want to
- 20:01Speaker 1: get back into your music, named the coldest artist you
- 20:05Speaker 1: can and our toppy you already know I'm going joas
- 20:10Speaker 1: Why would you five see that? That's a band? Right, yeah,
- 20:18Speaker 1: that's a hope what we was too? That was your
- 20:20Speaker 1: best group? That's my group. You gotta know one we
- 20:24Speaker 1: had Tony Tony tone Yeah, Commodore shut down, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 1: playing with you come on, come on, all right, uh,
- 20:35Speaker 1: let me go kid your family. So I love that album.
- 20:39Speaker 1: That ain't even the same? All right, look at that
- 20:44Speaker 1: nephews in the building to run that brank back all
- 20:49Speaker 1: day you're listening to show coming up at the top
- 20:54Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Anne is standing by with today's
- 20:57Speaker 1: national news and the latest on the investigation into that
- 21:00Speaker 1: horrific gas explosion in Baltimore, plus an entertainment news. Um, well,
- 21:06Speaker 1: we have a lot of stuff going on. Let's just
- 21:08Speaker 1: say that. Okay, we'll talk about these stories. It's just
- 21:11Speaker 1: a whole lot going on this morning. We'll get to
- 21:14Speaker 1: the nephew right now. Would run that prank back? Much?
- 21:19Speaker 1: An invitation to the party. An invitation to the party.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Let's go get hey, Tommy. While you was out, we
- 21:30Speaker 1: had held a vote that when you announce your pranks,
- 21:35Speaker 1: that you don't announce it more than two times. An invitation.
- 21:42Speaker 1: We just like it two times and get out to
- 21:45Speaker 1: the party. The reprank. We all said that, and by we,
- 21:49Speaker 1: he means him. Yeah, I know, Junior said something. Paula
- 21:55Speaker 1: says something. Shut up, Junior. An invitation to the party.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Let's go time, let's go. Hello. Uh yeah, I'm trying
- 22:08Speaker 1: to reach Danny. Yeah, what's up then, Hey, Danny? How
- 22:10Speaker 1: you doing. My name is Paul Man. How you doing today? Rob?
- 22:13Speaker 1: I'm good, Man, I'm good. What's up? Hey Man? I
- 22:14Speaker 1: wanted to reach out to you man um about your wife.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You you you married to Nicole? Right? I want to
- 22:19Speaker 1: make sure I got the right person. Yeah, yeah, again.
- 22:23Speaker 1: My name is Paul Man. I know Nicole. Nicole knows
- 22:26Speaker 1: my wife. My wife is Regina and uh, you know,
- 22:29Speaker 1: we know, we know Nicole real well man, we just
- 22:31Speaker 1: trying to uh we trying to actually see about getting
- 22:34Speaker 1: getting you guys, uh come out and uh maybe maybe

- 29:33Speaker 1: elections summer, during primary summer, having general elections, runoff elections. Yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 1: but November third, we vocus. Yeah. Time for today's entertainment news. Now,
- 29:49Speaker 1: this is according to a People magazine, Common says he
- 29:53Speaker 1: is in a happy relationship with Tiffany Hattish. Take a listen.
- 29:58Speaker 1: She's a wonderful woman, a queen and just a beautiful person. Man.
- 30:04Speaker 1: You know, I just care for a lot, enjoy her
- 30:06Speaker 1: and I'm grateful to have her in my life. So yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 1: I'm happy. Man. Ah there you god black love Steve.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That's called proclaiming, right, No, that's it, man, that's sit

- 30:35Speaker 1: of them. Yeah. Yeah. We want them to anybody that's
- 30:40Speaker 1: been in the house since March to night and steal
- 30:43Speaker 1: in love. Man, I take my hand off to you
- 30:47Speaker 1: and that includes you. Oh oh of course of course.
- 30:53Speaker 1: All right. And other entertainment news, Carol Baskins from The
- 30:56Speaker 1: Tiger King remember her well, She says she has a
- 31:00Speaker 1: own to pick with Cardie B and Megan the Stallion.
- 31:03Speaker 1: While the video, yeah almost broke the internet, Okay, Carol
- 31:08Speaker 1: was upset about how the big cats were portrayed, even
- 31:11Speaker 1: though exotic animals were photoshopped in the Animal Activist. That's
- 31:15Speaker 1: what Carol Basking does and is. She's worried that the
- 31:20Speaker 1: video will glamorize the idea of rich people having tigers
- 31:23Speaker 1: as pets. That's always been the case, right, ain't y'all
- 31:27Speaker 1: having men? Most people got t hello you had. If
- 31:33Speaker 1: you cared about the tigers, why don't you set them
- 31:36Speaker 1: all free? Why they all down there? You're making money
- 31:39Speaker 1: for people to come through your spot and sense right, Man,
- 31:42Speaker 1: Get up out of him. Yeah, you up the tigers
- 31:45Speaker 1: and all they did, and all they did was photoshopped
- 31:49Speaker 1: from tigers. Yeah publicity. Yeah, that's what it is. You
- 31:58Speaker 1: had them in that tan people's own off and everything
- 32:00Speaker 1: because they really wild animals. Man, get up out of him.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Of all the stuff you could have tripped on that
- 32:07Speaker 1: WAP video, you picked out them damn fake ass tigers.
- 32:12Speaker 1: There's so much to go on that people killed me
- 32:17Speaker 1: with the said nothing about the effect that video might
- 32:21Speaker 1: have on young girl. Now, we gotta get them tigers.
- 32:24Speaker 1: That's what I say about them. Peter asked people. They
- 32:26Speaker 1: care more about animals that they do people, Peter asked people.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Peter asked people. They can't no sense, man, They care
- 32:36Speaker 1: more about animals far more. They don't raise their voice
- 32:39Speaker 1: about Black lives matter, Peter, don't raise their voice about nothing,
- 32:43Speaker 1: no injustice, none of that. But to do something to
- 32:46Speaker 1: one of them damn tigers. And here they come. Man,
- 32:49Speaker 1: They got photo shopped in. They didn't have to feed them,
- 32:53Speaker 1: They didn't miss no days or work from anything. And
- 32:58Speaker 1: if you want to know the truth, the motor didn't
- 33:00Speaker 1: even know there was a damn tagas individual. It came out.
- 33:05Speaker 1: That is such the truth. Now what I was focused on.
- 33:08Speaker 1: All right, listen, it's time to get caught up on
- 33:11Speaker 1: today's headline, Steve. Let's go, ladies and gentlemen. This a
- 33:14Speaker 1: and trip. Thank you very much, everybody, And this is
- 33:16Speaker 1: a trip everybody. Authorities say that the coronavirus cases in
- 33:20Speaker 1: this country have now surpassed five million, with up to
- 33:23Speaker 1: twenty million cases worldwide. And now for the real bad news.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Scientists say that the coronavirus is like none others. The
- 33:29Speaker 1: Chief of Emergency for the World Health Organization, Mike Ryan,
- 33:33Speaker 1: says that it doesn't follow seasonal patterns of other viruses.
- 33:36Speaker 1: For instance, it was expected to retreat during the summer months.
- 33:39Speaker 1: This virus has demonstrated no seasonal patterns of such so far,
- 33:44Speaker 1: but it is clearly demonstrated days you take the pressure
- 33:47Speaker 1: off the virus, the virus bounces back. That's the reality.
- 33:50Speaker 1: That's the fact. You can call that a second wave.
- 33:52Speaker 1: You can call that a second spike, you can call
- 33:55Speaker 1: that a flare up. You can call it anything you like.
- 33:57Speaker 1: But whatever you call it is something, he says, we
- 33:59Speaker 1: still have to checked ourselves from. Apparently all year, President
- 34:02Speaker 1: Trump was hustled out of his White House briefing yesterday
- 34:04Speaker 1: because of a Secret Service agent who shot and injured
- 34:08Speaker 1: a man who was near the White House on the street,
- 34:10Speaker 1: actually outside the White House perimeter. That's where it was.
- 34:13Speaker 1: They say. The suspect reportedly approached an officer and told
- 34:16Speaker 1: him he had a rifle and then started running toward him.
- 34:19Speaker 1: The Secret Service agents shot the man. He and the
- 34:22Speaker 1: officer were taken to the hospital. Apparently, the President was
- 34:25Speaker 1: never really in any danger. By the way, the President
- 34:27Speaker 1: is now tweeting that Congressional Democrats should give him a call.
- 34:31Speaker 1: The tweet comes a couple of days after Trump signed
- 34:33Speaker 1: a few measures imposing executive actions aimed at the coronavirus
- 34:37Speaker 1: relief packages. I told you about them yesterday. Well, Trump's
- 34:41Speaker 1: orders and memoranda have significant limitations apparently, and will likely
- 34:44Speaker 1: face legal challenges. However, the Treasury Secretary, Steve Manustian tells
- 34:48Speaker 1: CNBC that he still foresees some kind of deal. I
- 34:51Speaker 1: heard Pelosi over the weekend in Schumer and I think
- 34:54Speaker 1: they're willing to compromise. So again, if we can get
- 34:58Speaker 1: a fair deal, we'll do it this week. But the
- 35:00Speaker 1: President needed to take action. He's not going to sit around.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Trump's accusing democratically user being hardliners who don't want to
- 35:06Speaker 1: compromise Democrats to use the Republicans of the same thing.
- 35:10Speaker 1: The former Texas police officer found guilty of murdering her
- 35:13Speaker 1: upstairs neighbor last October is trying to appeal her conviction.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I'm talking about Amber Geiger. She wants to either be
- 35:18Speaker 1: acquitted of murdering engineer Botham Jean or charged with the
- 35:21Speaker 1: lesser crime of criminally negligent homicide, which would make her
- 35:24Speaker 1: eligible for role. Geira claims that because she got off
- 35:27Speaker 1: on the wrong floor in twenty sixteen, entered the wrong
- 35:30Speaker 1: apartment and assumed the victim was an intruder, that she
- 35:33Speaker 1: had a right to use deadly force. That's the argument
- 35:35Speaker 1: she's making. Jerry Farwell Junior out for now as head
- 35:38Speaker 1: of the evangelical Christian Liberty University. Folwell's on indefinite leave
- 35:43Speaker 1: after posting a couple of photos won with his pants
- 35:45Speaker 1: unzipped with a pregnant woman next to him with her
- 35:47Speaker 1: pants unzipped. And he's also gotten in trouble recently because
- 35:51Speaker 1: he was showing images of black face in a KKK. Finally,
- 35:54Speaker 1: Today has loved the skin. You're in Now back to
- 35:58Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show where brown skin you're listening
- 36:02Speaker 1: to show. All right, guys, So there's a funny black
- 36:06Speaker 1: love video trending. This one. I don't know if you
- 36:09Speaker 1: guys have seen this, but it's of a woman. She's
- 36:11Speaker 1: on the floor. She's actually sweeping the floor with a
- 36:14Speaker 1: teen tiny little paint brush. Okay. The caption says, my
- 36:19Speaker 1: husband asked me to come downstairs when I'm done sweeping
- 36:23Speaker 1: the house, so we can talk about the money I
- 36:25Speaker 1: spent on ten Amazon packages I received today. So wife, yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 1: so you know it's gonna take her about a week
- 36:35Speaker 1: to sweep the whole house. Right, She's down sweeping the
- 36:38Speaker 1: floor with this little bitty paint brush. She has no
- 36:41Speaker 1: intentions of talking about those packages. Who can relate everybody?
- 36:47Speaker 1: Yeah one got one yesterday, but just somete for my life,
- 36:55Speaker 1: for my cigar life. Okay, Amazon they got and did
- 37:01Speaker 1: I read the Jeff Bezos made about seventy one million
- 37:04Speaker 1: dollars during COVID. It's possibly that's in the last four months. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 1: just in the last four months. But I'm just saying,
- 37:16Speaker 1: because we're spending so much money on him. Look, oh
- 37:19Speaker 1: Amazon is yeah, okay, so you know I've been in
- 37:28Speaker 1: the house. I do my own pedicures now, so I
- 37:32Speaker 1: don't go to the salon right now. So anyway, I
- 37:35Speaker 1: bought this thing. It's called a steady petty and its
- 37:40Speaker 1: shaped like a triangle. It opens up, you lock it in,
- 37:43Speaker 1: you put your foot on there so you don't have
- 37:45Speaker 1: to bend all the way down and stuff. It's kind
- 37:47Speaker 1: of just like it is when you go to the salon.
- 37:49Speaker 1: You put your foot up there, So I really think
- 37:51Speaker 1: I'm giving myself a professional pedicure. Now. I just got
- 37:54Speaker 1: that yesterday. Yeah that's good. That's cute. Day before that,
- 37:58Speaker 1: I got a yoga Matt just saying I got what
- 38:02Speaker 1: do you saw doing yoga? Okay? Wait, I don't care
- 38:07Speaker 1: you just about the I got the mat cute? What
- 38:11Speaker 1: about you, Steve? What about? I got something known of y'all?
- 38:14Speaker 1: Got what what? I got? Twenty foul cans of Lysol
- 38:22Speaker 1: spray disinfected. How did you get that? I didn't get
- 38:28Speaker 1: it on Amazon? Oh oh, let me think the market
- 38:34Speaker 1: cases with fauld cans of lysol disinfected, So let me
- 38:44Speaker 1: get to them. Now. You know what I learned in
- 38:48Speaker 1: the COVID There is nothing equivalent to lysol disinfected. Oh okay, yeah,
- 38:56Speaker 1: all right, Well congratulations Steve, you win. Coming up at
- 39:01Speaker 1: thirty four, Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:05Speaker 1: we're gonna get serious. We really are gonna get serious
- 39:08Speaker 1: and talk about what is going on in Chicago. This
- 39:11Speaker 1: is madness and Washington, d C. We'll talk about it
- 39:14Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the String Show. According
- 39:20Speaker 1: to the Black information network. Chaos and looting broke out
- 39:23Speaker 1: yet again in Chicago the other night after a police
- 39:26Speaker 1: involved shooting. Crowds of rioters broke store windows downtown. They
- 39:31Speaker 1: stole merchandise, they said, vehicles on fire after news broke
- 39:36Speaker 1: of an officer involved shooting earlier in the day. Chicago
- 39:39Speaker 1: police blamed the rioting on misinformation spread Regarding the shooting,
- 39:44Speaker 1: They say police responded to reports of a man with
- 39:47Speaker 1: a gun and were met with gunfire as they approached him.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Officers returned fire and struck the victim, who was taken
- 39:54Speaker 1: to the hospital in an unknown condition. The police department
- 39:57Speaker 1: says this is an example of police react acting to
- 40:00Speaker 1: rumors without having the full story. Wow um. Also violence
- 40:07Speaker 1: in DC over the weekend. A deadly shooting is under
- 40:10Speaker 1: investigation there as hundreds of people gathered for a cookout
- 40:14Speaker 1: near Fort Circle Park when several people began shooting into
- 40:18Speaker 1: the crowd. Police say one teenager was killed. This is
- 40:21Speaker 1: so sad, and twenty others were wounded when gun gunfire erupted.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Why why is there a hundred people cooking out exactly
- 40:30Speaker 1: exactly exactly do they doesn't make any sense, man, Well
- 40:35Speaker 1: people are doing it if we know. It doesn't mean Yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 1: I agree, I agree, it don't make no sense is
- 40:43Speaker 1: to shoot it right exactly. That is the part that
- 40:47Speaker 1: really don't make no sense. People began shooting into the crowd,
- 40:52Speaker 1: just a crowd of people, so you opened fire. I
- 40:55Speaker 1: mean there's real problem. Yeah, yeah, you know, man, and like, um,
- 41:01Speaker 1: that's coward it is. And the tough part about doing
- 41:05Speaker 1: stories like this for people like us is we do
- 41:10Speaker 1: the story and we don't have a solution to it. Yeah,
- 41:15Speaker 1: because it's more than just policing. That's the issue in
- 41:22Speaker 1: these cities, of course it is. Yeah, that's it's the
- 41:28Speaker 1: real deal. It's lack of opportunity, the hopelessness that's fostered
- 41:35Speaker 1: because it conditions are so deprived. These so many young
- 41:41Speaker 1: people have no hope of participating in the American dream. Yeah,
- 41:46Speaker 1: and it's understood that way. The reason you have zoning,
- 41:51Speaker 1: the reason you have certain zip codes they get redline
- 41:54Speaker 1: and things like that, is because they can get you
- 41:56Speaker 1: in this area. They can control what you buy, where
- 42:00Speaker 1: you shop, and how you live and if they can
- 42:03Speaker 1: keep you in the oppressed sector. Now here's the upside
- 42:08Speaker 1: to this. There are many people, all of us come
- 42:12Speaker 1: from the hood. There are many success stories coming out
- 42:17Speaker 1: of the hood of people who overcome and do really
- 42:21Speaker 1: really well every day, but right, but there is a
- 42:28Speaker 1: number that creates these stories that the media sensationalizes and
- 42:33Speaker 1: blows up and becomes the headlines. And there are no
- 42:36Speaker 1: stories about the young people who overcome, who win, who
- 42:39Speaker 1: get out, who go to school, who end up with
- 42:42Speaker 1: great jobs, who have careers and at the post office
- 42:45Speaker 1: and or or a plant or a home deep or
- 42:49Speaker 1: anything like that. And then it becomes a trifling shame.
- 42:54Speaker 1: And then until we change the way taxpayer dollars are
- 42:57Speaker 1: dispersed at the state level instead of it going to
- 43:00Speaker 1: communities who pay the most taxes, where these communities can
- 43:04Speaker 1: never come up. Until we change the way state funds
- 43:07Speaker 1: are allocated, it will forever keep the less fortunate less fortunate.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Part of that involves, yeah, filling out the census. People

- 43:43Speaker 1: because of things like this. This country isn't a crisis. Yeah,

- 54:27Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject my fiance is a social butterfly.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm twenty eight years old and I
- 54:37Speaker 1: live with my fiance that's thirty two years old. We
- 54:41Speaker 1: have one child together and he will be the stepfather
- 54:43Speaker 1: to my son from a previous relationship. I love this
- 54:46Speaker 1: man with every bit of my heart and soul. He
- 54:49Speaker 1: is an amazing father and an amazing man. But here's
- 54:54Speaker 1: the problem. We've had issues where Xes have texted his
- 54:58Speaker 1: phone and I found out about it, and I brought
- 55:00Speaker 1: it to his attention. He still has them as Facebook
- 55:03Speaker 1: friends as well. I have told him, if we're going
- 55:05Speaker 1: to start a future together, our past have to be
- 55:08Speaker 1: left behind. I asked him if he would delete and
- 55:11Speaker 1: block all his exes so we could move on. I
- 55:14Speaker 1: told him no other woman should have the same access
- 55:17Speaker 1: to him that I have. He flipped out and said,
- 55:20Speaker 1: I'm insecure and I'm trying to cut him off from
- 55:23Speaker 1: the world. But I only asked him to do this
- 55:25Speaker 1: one thing for me. We also had an issue when
- 55:28Speaker 1: this girl came to our house to do this hair
- 55:30Speaker 1: to do his hair, and I've found out that he's
- 55:33Speaker 1: still texting her behind my back. I confronted him about
- 55:36Speaker 1: it and we moved past it. But the other day
- 55:40Speaker 1: I found out that they've been sending each other messages
- 55:43Speaker 1: on social media. He's always the one who's preaching about
- 55:47Speaker 1: us communicating about everything and working things out, but the
- 55:51Speaker 1: moment I bring up anything he's done, he gets defensive.
- 55:54Speaker 1: And he tells me I'm the problem. He always flips
- 55:58Speaker 1: the situation around and put it on me. I found
- 56:01Speaker 1: condoms in a toolbox in the trunk of his car,
- 56:04Speaker 1: and I threw the box away without telling him that
- 56:07Speaker 1: I found that. After seeing the condoms, I realize I
- 56:11Speaker 1: have a bigger problem. Should I press this issue before
- 56:14Speaker 1: I marry him or should I leave him now so
- 56:17Speaker 1: he'll know I'm serious. You're right about one thing. You
- 56:20Speaker 1: definitely have a bigger problem. I'm at the end of
- 56:23Speaker 1: this letter and I'm still trying to figure out how
- 56:26Speaker 1: he's so amazing. All I see is that he's a
- 56:29Speaker 1: great dad, and that's a good thing. That is amazing.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Other than that, I'm at a loss for all of
- 56:35Speaker 1: his amazingness. All Right, he's still communicating with the exes.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You don't like that, he called you insecure and accused
- 56:42Speaker 1: you of cutting him off from the world, and worst
- 56:45Speaker 1: of all, you found condoms in his toolbox. Now, what
- 56:48Speaker 1: do you think he's doing with those condoms? I mean, listen,
- 56:52Speaker 1: you cannot marry someone you don't trust. And this is
- 56:56Speaker 1: going on. We say this so much on this show.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Before you've even made it to the altar, you don't
- 57:02Speaker 1: trust this guy. You don't trust him as far as
- 57:04Speaker 1: you can throw him. That's why you're in his phone,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and that's why you're talking to him about all these
- 57:09Speaker 1: exes and all this marriage for you guys, I think
- 57:13Speaker 1: is a disaster waiting to happen. I mean, you don't
- 57:15Speaker 1: want him to talk to his exes. He doesn't want
- 57:18Speaker 1: to stop talking to his exes or apparently sleeping with them.
- 57:22Speaker 1: That's how the condoms figure into this. He doesn't like
- 57:25Speaker 1: you confronting him about it and all of that. I
- 57:28Speaker 1: don't think this is a good way to start a marriage.
- 57:31Speaker 1: It's just not and definitely not a good relationship to
- 57:34Speaker 1: bring a baby in, whether he's an amazing dad or not. Steve,
- 57:42Speaker 1: first of all, everything Shirley said, I agree with one
- 57:46Speaker 1: thousand percent. She's spot on, So you already know when
- 57:51Speaker 1: you write. And once I agree with what Shirley has
- 57:53Speaker 1: to say, I don't really go back into that. So
- 57:58Speaker 1: now just look at let's look at another the way.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You know, if you don't believe fat meat greasy, then
- 58:04Speaker 1: let's just find out if greasy meet it's fat. However
- 58:08Speaker 1: you want to do it. You're twenty eight fiance thirty two,
- 58:13Speaker 1: y'all got a child together. He's he will be the
- 58:16Speaker 1: stepfather if from previous relationship. You know, loving with your
- 58:21Speaker 1: heart and so amazing father, amazing man. But we got
- 58:25Speaker 1: issues where exis have text his phone and I found
- 58:28Speaker 1: out about it, and I bought it to his attention
- 58:32Speaker 1: and he got him his Facebook friends. I told him,
- 58:34Speaker 1: if we're gonna start the future together, our pass have
- 58:36Speaker 1: to be left behind. That's a fair. That's a fair.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Most people can't move forward it with the future because
- 58:45Speaker 1: they keep hanging on to the past, even with mistakes.
- 58:49Speaker 1: That's why it's important that you never allowed mistake to
- 58:52Speaker 1: define who you are. That's what you did, then that's
- 58:55Speaker 1: the mistake. You may ask God for forgiveness, get up
- 58:59Speaker 1: and move on. So what you're saying is really for
- 59:02Speaker 1: I've asked him if he would delete and block all
- 59:05Speaker 1: his exes so we could move on. I told him,
- 59:07Speaker 1: no other woman should have the same access to him
- 59:09Speaker 1: that I have. That's fair. He flipped out and said,
- 59:13Speaker 1: I'm insecure, no man, Ask him, can you start contacting
- 59:18Speaker 1: all your exes? Ask him? Can you could talk to
- 59:22Speaker 1: all your exes freely like you want to and let
- 59:25Speaker 1: them have access to you the same way them girls
- 59:28Speaker 1: got access to him. I promise you he ain't gonna
- 59:32Speaker 1: like it. See all this raining going on, it's really P.
- 59:38Speaker 1: So all this all this raining that's going on is
- 59:43Speaker 1: really P. But he's trying to tell you it's a
- 59:46Speaker 1: gentle soft rain. It's P. It's pet that what Pete?
- 59:54Speaker 1: It's not. It's a shower, but it's a golden shower
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: and you're the recipient of it. And this is not
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: nice for you. I'm just being real with your sister.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Shirley told you right, but saying now, I got to
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: get you to see it another way. Now you insecure
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: and I come back. I'm gonna tell you why he
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: said that. All right, all right, Steve, thank you. We'll
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters, subject my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: fiance is a social butterfly. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. My fiance is
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a social butterfly. Twenty year old lady living with just
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: thirty two ye old dude supposed to be a good dude,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: But they got a problem. He's in contact with all
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: his excess. They texting his phone. You found out about it,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: You bring it to his attention, and they his Facebook
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: friends as well. And then you said, fairly, if we're
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: gonna have a future together, then we got to leave
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: our past and behind, asking me he would delete block
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: all this excess so we could move on. He should
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: do that for you. That's fair. I love you, you
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: my future. I'm gonna delete my past so we can
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: move on. That's fair. He should do that. I told
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: him no other woman should have the same access to
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: him as I have. He flipped out and said I'm
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: insecure and cut him off. But I've only asked to
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: do this one thing for me. Okay, Now my question
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: is these people that he's texting that you found out about,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: what is the text about? Because it seemed to me
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: like he a little bit more than a social butterfly. Okay,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: all right, Now we also have an issue when this
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: girl came to our house to do his head. All right,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: let's pump the brakes. There's a woman that has to
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: come to your house to do his hair. What kind
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: of hair he got? Where a woman got to come
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to your house to do your man? And hell where
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: he got a perm? Locks? Curl locks of braids, locks
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: of braids. Okay, I've never had it, so I can't
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: speak on it. Some of them look good. Maybe your
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: man need help keeping here but here this woman come
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: but now? And then you found out that he's texting
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: her behind your back other than half? What did these
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: texts say? You haven't said that, Okay, I confronted him
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: about it and we moved past it. Then you say
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: that they've been sending each other other messages on social media?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Is he coming coming back due to hal What is
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: these locks coming loose? Are they clip ons? What is
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: they still talking about in these texts? What do you
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: know about clip on? Really? A football player had him
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: and then he was running and one dude grabbed her,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: had a full over, but he kept running. It didn't
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: hurt when he snatched them out. So yeah, okay, he
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: always the one who's preaching about us communicating things work out.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: But the moment I bring up anything he's done, he
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: gets to fixed me. He tells me I'm the problem.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: You know why he does that because the best defense
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: is a good offense. People who flip it all the time.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Note that the best defense is a good offense. So
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: now he throwing it on you? Now you didn't found
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: some condoms in a tulbox in the trunk of his car,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: and I threw the box away without telling him or
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that fix it? Whoa? That was the last box of
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: condoms doing the COVID. WHOA. Yeah, you found these condoms
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: in the tuolbox. You threw them away without telling That's
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: a good idea. Yeah, after seeing the condoms, I realize
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I have a bigger problem. Let me ask you a question, man,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: what are condoms for? Right? Condoms are to protect you
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: during the act of sex. They do not double as
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: party water balloons. You don't slip them on your fingers
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: when you're trying to fix your car. They ain't finger gloves.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Their condoms. They serve one purpose and one purpose only.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Thank you. So now should I press the issue before
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I marry him? You're marrying someone who has condoms in
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: his tool box. You're marrying someone who refuses to stop
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: communicating with women, his exes, his hairdresser, everybody, and he
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: got condoms in the box. Now, I'm not telling you,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: your man, he's cheating. I'm not gonna tell you that,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: but you do the man, and your question is should
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I press this issue before I marry him? Really? Surely
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: say the best? If you don't what you think gonna
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: happen right after y'all get married, Why would he stop
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: doing anything? Remember this about marriage. What's going on before
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: the marriage will continue afterwards. The only thing that done
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: the changes after the day of the marriage, at the
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: appearance of the left hand third finger. That's it. You
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: have a situation and you have to decide what you're
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: going to do with it. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: tell you what to do, but you add it up.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I don't know what all these texts about, but he
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: gets real upset when you don't want to let him
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: cut himself off from the world. Excuse me, what are
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: your mum? Tommy wants to know why she's in his
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: tube box? Ohs in there? It's just wise you in
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the tube box? Yeah right, because she's trying to find
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the tape measure because she wanted to measure just something.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: And she ran up into the box at count and
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: all twelve them wasn't in there? And condom in two
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: years I put him in the two box. She ain't
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: gonna come in here. Well put him in there. Yeah,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: So that's it. I don't know what to say to you. Yeah,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: the decision is on you. But you've heard our advice
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: and sometimes I use them to stop leaks. Though sometimes
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: you use condom to stop leak. That's exactly that's exactly
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: why you use Did you just not hear him say
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: one purpose and one purpose? That's exactly what you use
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: the FAU. All right, post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Check out
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast too on demand. Coming up at
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hour. We'll have Sports Talk
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: with Junior right after this. You're listening Stry Morning Show.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: All right, time now for Junior with Sports Talk. Sure
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: that we ain't got much. We ain't got much sports,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: but the little bit we do have, we got an
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: NBA basketball talking about to day, Uh NBA warred starts.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Draymond Green was on T and T with Ernie Shack
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: and Charles R. Ken. I was surprised to see that.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Oh but did you see what he said? Uh? He said.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Devin Booker, who plays for the Phoenix Suns needs to
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: leave because playing for Phoenix Suns is not good for
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: his career. Now they find Raymond fifty grand for violating
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the NBA's tempering rule, which states that a high profile
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: player can't urge other players to lead the organization on
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: national television. But he said just not good for his career.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: He should he should lead. And he's absolutely right that
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Booker should leave because ever since Kevin Durrett left, they
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: need somebody over there. That's all he doing. He just recruited. Yeah,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: he recruited for the war. I'm what he's doing. But
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: it cost him fifty thousand dollars. Now, if we take
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: up a collection, they could probably get Devin over there. Well,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: they got a great team when they're healthy, the Golden State,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: they're strong. Man. But I was surprised because I know
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Chuck and uh Draymond had a lot of words, man,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: so I was glad to see they had squashed that. Yeah,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: he was He was good too, man, He was really
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: good though. It just we made that one statement cost
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: him fifty thousand dollars. But I don't think they should
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: do that because they would have to a lot for
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: him to have his opinion as a sportscaster. But I
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: think for him though, right, because he still plays in
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: the league versus the other guys that don't plays. I
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: don't know. I don't, I don't, I don't. I don't
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: know how they get charging in fifty grand for saying that.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: That's a lot of money many of the rules. But
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: if he were to leave, they would lose so much
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: more money though, right, Oh, tell me what you say.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: It was the rules? Oh when you start going by
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: rules though, oh, oh you do the NBA rules? Oh?
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: For good life, all this relationship advice he passed out,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: mister Reddy for love unless you, oh this bay right here, man, Ruth,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Tommy ready for love? Unless you ain't, Tom that'd be
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: a great show for you to do it, so good.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Ain't ready for love unless you a college football to
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Big ten and Pact twelve. They are now think gonna
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: postpone this college season in football is balled good, it's
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: gonna try to do it in twenty twenty one. Oh,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: they postponed in college football. Man, I don't know who
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: we're gonna do this. Man, what happened? So what happened?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: If this show last year? Though, Junior, that's that's so
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: messed up. Yeah, that's jacked up, man, it really is. Man,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: but the spring in the horrible situation. Yeah, alright, yeah,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: all right. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: we have some good news for you. Tell me something
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: good coming up right after this. You're listening to morning show,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: all right, time for tell me something good. Here's some
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: fun good news. Steve, twenty one year old twin brothers

- 1:11:04Speaker 1: he ain't going ain't gonna lie you got man? I
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: ever seen that woman? I ain't never seen nobody dripping
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: beat three minutes in a song. That's funny. That looks
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: good man, that's that's that's doesn't doesn't that is true.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I never seen somebody trying to be on the Let's
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: wake him up. I love them and let me tell
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: you something, man, I love them dudes. I actually want
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: to reach out to him because I have an idea
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: for a bit with them. But them dudes, man, it's
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: so they listened to Michael McDonald's I Keep forgetting uh
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: huh for the first time, boy boy, these dudes was
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: discovering what music really is. It's like it's for what
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: he said. You know, y'all be tripping with us. We're young.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: We're young, man, they'll be tripping with it. We don't
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: know this man. They listened to Stevie. I listened about
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: five songs of that. They like Stevie Wonder, Superstition. They said,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I hadn't heard of this man, but I don't know
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: what assist. They said, Man, I haven't heard of this man,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: but I don't know what he did. They played Superstition.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: They went, oh, man, he man, listen to how he's singing. Man, Man,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: this R and B is live. Give me young dudes.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I love the dudes, man, they're just not discovering R
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: and B. Eighties. Dog, if they heard the seventies, they
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: lose their mind. The eighties. And but I think the
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: eighties for them is about as old as they can go.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Because he's ninety eight, you know. But when the play
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: in the air tonight and that drum dropping, he looked
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: at his brother sir, he just held each other on
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: the what's happening? I like how they was just kim

- 1:13:14Speaker 1: never seen nobody drop a beat three minutes into the song.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: That's how cold that jam? Messman, I don't know anyone
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: who doesn't love you could play this for thirty minutes
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: of the concert jam thirty minute. I just think of
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Miami Vice ils so hard just now not to cuss.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: It took everything in me not to say the big one.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I wanted to blurt that out. It called for that.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Now that's a jam, man, that's wow. You know man,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: My goal is to sit with them as the sole teacher,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Sem and Fred h huh, and you know, not not

- 1:14:39Speaker 1: now check this out. Tell me something y'all been going through.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: And then I have a song, because seventies and eighties

- 1:14:49Speaker 1: ye yeah, all right, we'll be back with more stories
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: on the Sea Herby Morning show at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: where you're listening to show and trending Twitter news. Zelda Williams,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the daughter of late comedy legend Robin Williams, attacked President
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Trump's son Eric Trump over the weekend. Didn't hear about this? Wow?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: After Eric tweeted an old video of her father mocking
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Joe Biden, Eric Trump tweeted Robin Williams just savages Joe
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Biden and shared the clip in which the comedian pokes
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: fun at Biden. Zelda responded in a tweet, writing, while
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: we're reminiscing to further your political agenda, you should look
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: up what he said about your dad. I did promise
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: you it's much more savage, she said, gentle reminders that
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: the dad can't vote, but the living can. I love
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: all of that, all of that Williams daughter, boom, while
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: you searching Joe Biden, look up what he said about
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: your dad. Your daddy saying about the five black boys
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: in Central Park too. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, alright, this
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: is down five. Need to look up what your daddy
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: said about them, all them little Latino kids that got
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: separated from their parents. It's in the Netflix special Car Immigrations.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Oh man, it's what they did to them people. Maw
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: and are continuing to do is inhumane treatment. And you're
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: saying this to Eric Trump. That's you're looking up. Yes,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: let's talking about people's daddy. Is now all right, We'll

- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I ain't gonna get angry. Don't believe. I'm gonna take
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: my time, and I'm gonna softly say my response. But
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: for those that didn't hear it, Shirley was saying, y'all
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: comparing eras of music? Is that what it is? Yeah?

- 1:18:36Speaker 1: lose this. I'm just nice, okay, But why cannot act
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: like Joellavert didn't didn't come out John of Eddie. So
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: that was damn near fail. And that's Cleveland and was
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: a personal friend. I used to go buy his house.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: My first opening act was with the vote down and Chilis.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: But when I love jeral Vert and I still listen
