PEACE in the Middle East-Hostages Freed under Historic Trump Agreement · The Ben Ferguson Podcast

0:01
Speaker 1: Welcome.
0:01
Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz ben Ferguson with you.
0:04
Speaker 2: It is right now one oh seven am Eastern Center time.
0:08
Speaker 2: That means it is eight o six am right now
0:11
Speaker 2: in Tel Aviv in Israel, and the hostages that are
0:15
Speaker 2: being held in Gaza are set to be released. We
0:17
Speaker 2: are hoping that's going to happen at any moment, and
0:21
Speaker 2: very well could happen as we are taping this in
0:23
Speaker 2: the wee hours of the morning. Senator, I want to
0:26
Speaker 2: get your reaction just to this and what all we're
0:29
Speaker 2: going to be talking about today.
0:31
Speaker 3: Well, it is an historic day. Although I will have
0:33
Speaker 3: to note, man, I am impressed that somehow Jerusalem has
0:36
Speaker 3: managed to go back in time that it is one
0:38
Speaker 3: oh seven am in the East coast of America, but
0:41
Speaker 3: it is only eight oh six am in Jerusalem, so
0:44
Speaker 3: they're somehow a minute ahead of us. That that uh, look,
0:47
Speaker 3: look is talking. I think that's appropriate. So so I appreciate,
0:55
Speaker 3: like a fine Swiss watch, you have a cute appreciation time.
1:00
Speaker 1: I'm just looking at the screens here.
1:03
Speaker 3: I got you. Look. Peace in the Middle East is
1:07
Speaker 3: a big damn deal now as we're sitting here right now,
1:11
Speaker 3: we're holding our breaths because the peace deal has been announced.
1:16
Speaker 3: If this follows through, if Hamas releases the hostages, it
1:21
Speaker 3: will be historic. At the moment, we don't know if
1:25
Speaker 3: they're going to follow through. They said they're going to
1:27
Speaker 3: follow through, but Hamas is not exactly the most trustworthy
1:32
Speaker 3: of deal makers. They've broken deals over and over and
1:36
Speaker 3: over again. Terrorists have a bad habit of doing that.
1:39
Speaker 3: So we are waiting, we are hoping, we are praying.
1:42
Speaker 3: What's interesting about this podcast is by the time you're
1:45
Speaker 3: listening to it, you're going to know. And so we
1:49
Speaker 3: very much hope the hostages are released. The agreement that
1:52
Speaker 3: President Trump negotiated was an agreement to release all the hostages,
1:57
Speaker 3: both the living hostages and the remains of those who
2:01
Speaker 3: have been killed. And there are a number who've been killed.
2:03
Speaker 3: They're holding onto the remains. Obviously the families would like
2:06
Speaker 3: to bury the dead.
2:08
Speaker 4: Uh.
2:09
Speaker 3: And in exchange, Israel has agreed to a complete and
2:12
Speaker 3: immediate ceasefire. That is historic. It is such a big
2:18
Speaker 3: deal that President Trump is flying to the Middle East
2:21
Speaker 3: to be there to welcome the hostages to their release.
2:26
Speaker 3: And I will say this is a day of great
2:30
Speaker 3: celebration if if Hamas follows through on the terms of
2:34
Speaker 3: the deal.
2:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, by the way, right now, the hostage release process
2:39
Speaker 2: is beginning. We are witnessing in Gaza City the Red
2:42
Speaker 2: Cross vehicles are leaving the compound there and so we
2:46
Speaker 2: are doing this, like I said, at am here one
2:50
Speaker 2: am Eastern, one ten am. And this is what we're
2:52
Speaker 2: watching as we're seeing this happening. But the first process,
2:56
Speaker 2: they're saying coming from the AP right now, has a
2:58
Speaker 2: release process is beginning and going as plan. That certainly
3:02
Speaker 2: is a great sign as we're recording this right now.
3:06
Speaker 3: Amen, those hostages have have been in living hell for
3:10
Speaker 3: two years now, uh, and it is time for them
3:13
Speaker 3: to be released and and and hopefully within minutes, uh,
3:17
Speaker 3: they will be They will be back with their families.
3:19
Speaker 3: I will tell you, in the last two years, I
3:21
Speaker 3: have met with many of the families of the hostages
3:24
Speaker 3: that that when they've come to Washington, they've come by
3:26
Speaker 3: my office. They've shown me pictures of their loved ones,
3:29
Speaker 3: of their sons, of their daughters, of their sisters, of
3:31
Speaker 3: their moms and their dads, and it's heartbreaking. I've I've
3:35
Speaker 3: met with with family members of those who were killed
3:38
Speaker 3: killed on October seventh, and and seen just just the
3:42
Speaker 3: horrific atrocities that Hamas carried out on that day, and
3:46
Speaker 3: and and this is a time I think really to
3:49
Speaker 3: commend President Trump. And and and by the way, it's
3:53
Speaker 3: not just me saying that, you want to see how
3:56
Speaker 3: extraordinary it is. Hillary Clinton has praised Donald Trump for
4:02
Speaker 3: this peace agreement. I want you to give a listen
4:03
Speaker 3: to what Hillary Clinton had to say about Donald J.
4:07
Speaker 5: Trump.
4:08
Speaker 6: It's a really significant first step. And I really commend
4:15
Speaker 6: President Trump and his administration as well as Arab leaders
4:20
Speaker 6: in the region for making the commitment to the twenty
4:25
Speaker 6: point plan and seeing a path forward for what's often
4:31
Speaker 6: called the day After. Most importantly, the conflict hopefully will
4:38
Speaker 6: end with the ceasefire, the hostages will be returned, and
4:42
Speaker 6: then the very hard work of rebuilding Gaza, of finding
4:48
Speaker 6: the kind of security that Israel and the Palestinians after
4:52
Speaker 6: Hamas deserved to have. Moving forward with the other points
4:57
Speaker 6: in the plan, to try to create and an opportunity
5:01
Speaker 6: for Palestinians to have a better life and for Israel
5:04
Speaker 6: to have greater peace and security. I am very hopeful
5:10
Speaker 6: that we'll be able to see progress. Today's a good start,
5:14
Speaker 6: but we have to keep going from here.
5:17
Speaker 2: You listen to Hillary Clinton, they're saying that center and
5:20
Speaker 2: this goes back to I think what the world is
5:23
Speaker 2: admitting right now. This was something that never had a
5:26
Speaker 2: chance of happening under the Biden regime, their administration.
5:31
Speaker 1: They weren't even close to this.
5:32
Speaker 2: What President Trump has been able to do, bringing people together,
5:36
Speaker 2: bringing the Arab world together, being able to iron out
5:39
Speaker 2: the points.
5:39
Speaker 1: Of this deal. I truly believe this.
5:42
Speaker 2: I think he's probably the only guy in the world
5:44
Speaker 2: that could have pulled this off the way he did
5:45
Speaker 2: as quickly as he did.
5:47
Speaker 3: I look undoubtedly, and I'll say a sentence I've never
5:50
Speaker 3: before said in my life, Bravo Hillary Clinton.
5:54
Speaker 4: Yeah.
5:55
Speaker 3: Like, I will give her credit for commending Donald Trump.
5:58
Speaker 3: She must have saying those words. It was the right
6:03
Speaker 3: thing to do. And I want to draw a contrast
6:06
Speaker 3: because Hillary Clinton acknowledged the obvious that this is historic,
6:11
Speaker 3: this is a massive step forward. And I want to
6:15
Speaker 3: contrast it to Barack Obama because Barack Obama put out
6:20
Speaker 3: a statement after two years of unimaginable loss and suffering
6:24
Speaker 3: for Israeli families and the people of Gaza. We should
6:27
Speaker 3: all be encouraged and relieved that an end of the
6:29
Speaker 3: conflict is within sight, that those hostages still being held
6:33
Speaker 3: will be reunited with their families, and that vital aid
6:36
Speaker 3: can start reaching those inside Gaza whose lives have been shattered.
6:41
Speaker 3: More than that, though, it now falls on Israelis and Palestinians,
6:45
Speaker 3: with the support of the US and the entire world community,
6:48
Speaker 3: to begin the hard task of rebuilding Gaza and to
6:51
Speaker 3: commit to a process that, by recognizing the common humanity
6:55
Speaker 3: and basic rights of both peoples, can achieve lasting peace. Ben,
7:01
Speaker 3: do you know what word is is nowhere in Barack
7:03
Speaker 3: Obama's statement?
7:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, the President of United States of America, Donald Trump.
7:08
Speaker 3: The guy who negotiated the deal, the guy without whom
7:11
Speaker 3: there would be no such deal. And by the way,
7:12
Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton was Barack Obama's secretary of State. So Hillary
7:16
Speaker 3: Clinton is demonstrating some class and Obama this is one
7:21
Speaker 3: of the most classless statements I have ever seen, because
7:27
Speaker 3: Obama cannot acknowledge that Trump accomplished something, and accomplished something
7:33
Speaker 3: really powerful and meaningful and is a major step towards peace.
7:37
Speaker 3: And those are words I think Barack Obama is utterly
7:41
Speaker 3: unwilling to say.
7:42
Speaker 2: You also got to listen, and I want to play this.
7:45
Speaker 2: This is net Yahoo talking as well about this deal
7:48
Speaker 2: getting done with wit Coffin and Jered Chrishna, the son
7:51
Speaker 2: in law of the President Donald Trump, and getting this
7:55
Speaker 2: deal done. They put together a statement and I want
7:57
Speaker 2: to play that for everybody. Is again it's now being
8:00
Speaker 2: reported by virtually all the major news networks that the
8:03
Speaker 2: hostage release process has begun and is moving its way
8:07
Speaker 2: the way it's supposed to be choreographed.
8:09
Speaker 1: That is good news.
8:11
Speaker 2: We are seeing in Gaza now that there are multiple
8:13
Speaker 2: Red Cross vehicles that have moved into the area where
8:16
Speaker 2: they're going to do the handoff of these hostages. We're
8:18
Speaker 2: going to keep you update on that obviously as it's
8:20
Speaker 2: happening as we're recording this, but I want you to
8:22
Speaker 2: hear what Netanyahu had to say as well, and those
8:25
Speaker 2: in Whiskoff as well, and Jared Kushner take a listen.
8:28
Speaker 4: We're at a amendous development in the last two years.
8:34
Speaker 4: We've fought doing these two years to that achieve of
8:37
Speaker 4: warreams in the Central One of these warreams is to
8:40
Speaker 4: return the osages all of the osages the living and
8:44
Speaker 4: the day, and we're about to achieve that group. We
8:48
Speaker 4: couldn't live achieve without the extraordinary help President Crump's team,
8:55
Speaker 4: Steve Whitkof and Jared Kushner. They worked tirelessly with Ron
9:00
Speaker 4: and this team, our team UH and UH. That and
9:05
Speaker 4: the courage of our soldiers who UH entered Gaza, and
9:09
Speaker 4: the combined military and diplomatic pressure that isolated the coloss
9:15
Speaker 4: I think as parties to this point, I wanna personally
9:18
Speaker 4: thank both of you, Steve Jareded UH spend long hours
9:32
Speaker 4: you have around the clock, but not only worked. I
9:34
Speaker 4: I think you you put in your UH, your brains
9:40
Speaker 4: and your hearts, and we know that it's UH for
9:45
Speaker 4: the benefit of Israel and the United States, or the
9:47
Speaker 4: benefit of UH decent people living there, and for the
9:50
Speaker 4: benefit of these families who will finally get to be
9:52
Speaker 4: with our mothers. And I wanna thank you on their
9:55
Speaker 4: behalf as well, but un behalfy for people who's at
9:58
Speaker 4: you without a mon.
10:02
Speaker 5: Obviously, bringing the hostages his home is a It's been
10:06
Speaker 5: a priority for President Trump for a very very long time,
10:09
Speaker 5: and we've all worked very tirelessly to do that. But
10:13
Speaker 5: I really want to say that this all would not
10:15
Speaker 5: have been possible without the bravery of the IDF and
10:19
Speaker 5: the soldiers. What they've accomplished not just in Gaza, but
10:22
Speaker 5: also what they've done in the theater over the last
10:25
Speaker 5: couple of years to eliminate as belond the North and
10:29
Speaker 5: really degrade them. What you were able to do in
10:31
Speaker 5: Iran and really helps.
10:32
Speaker 4: Set a big tone.
10:33
Speaker 5: But particularly seeing the way that your citizen army, I
10:36
Speaker 5: know a lot of you, probably all of you have
10:38
Speaker 5: family friends who are in this effort. Really, you know,
10:41
Speaker 5: put your sacrifices on the line to fight for your
10:44
Speaker 5: country and to try and try to make a difference.
10:47
Speaker 5: I think that made a very very big difference in there.
10:50
Speaker 6: And I want.
10:50
Speaker 5: To just give a very very special thanks to Prime
10:54
Speaker 5: Minister Natanyahu who really did an incredible job with this
10:58
Speaker 5: and did a great job to negotiations. You held your
11:02
Speaker 5: lines firm, and I think that between you and President
11:04
Speaker 5: Trump you had a lot of alignment on what the
11:07
Speaker 5: end state should be.
11:08
Speaker 7: The hard job was the Prime minister's. He had the
11:11
Speaker 7: job of protecting this country. He had the job of
11:14
Speaker 7: making tough choices with regard to how tough to be
11:18
Speaker 7: with hamas, when to be flexible, when not to be flexible.
11:24
Speaker 7: I think to myself all the time, I lost sleepover it.
11:27
Speaker 7: What would I have done in some of those circumstances.
11:30
Speaker 7: There were times that I thought we should be more flexible,
11:34
Speaker 7: your country should be more flexible. But the truth is,
11:37
Speaker 7: as I look back, I don't think we get to
11:39
Speaker 7: this place without Prime Minister Netnyaghu playing it.
11:49
Speaker 4: I'm not just.
11:50
Speaker 7: Saying that they're not just words. The President believes that.
11:52
Speaker 7: My president believes that. He believes that Prime Minister Netanyahu.
11:57
Speaker 8: Made some very very difficult calls, and lesser people would
12:02
Speaker 8: not have made those calls. And here we are today
12:04
Speaker 8: because Amas had to, They had to do this deal.
12:09
Speaker 7: The pressure was on them. They were backed up, and
12:13
Speaker 7: you've got the bigger army you were making in rows,
12:16
Speaker 7: and that's what led to this deal.
12:19
Speaker 2: You can hear Whiskov. They were saying, that's what led
12:21
Speaker 2: to this deal. And look, this was all about the
12:23
Speaker 2: presidential leadership and the President Unit States America leading in
12:26
Speaker 2: a way that no one else could.
12:29
Speaker 3: Well. And the contrast is really night and day to
12:32
Speaker 3: the previous administration. You know, you mentioned a minute ago
12:35
Speaker 3: you said that President Trump achieved something that Joe Biden
12:39
Speaker 3: could not have done. Well, I'll tell you someone who
12:41
Speaker 3: disagrees with that is Tony Blincoln. And Tony Blinkn, of course,
12:44
Speaker 3: was Biden's Secretary of State, and he put out a
12:47
Speaker 3: long Twitter statement on this, and here's where he said critically.
12:52
Speaker 3: He says, it starts with a clear and comprehensive post
12:55
Speaker 3: conflict plan for Gaza. It's good that President Trump adopts
13:00
Speaker 3: did and built on the plan the Biden administration developed
13:04
Speaker 3: after months of discussion with Arab partners, Israel and the
13:07
Speaker 3: Palestinian authority. Like what nonsense? It literally is Tony Blinken saying, well,
13:13
Speaker 3: this this Trump peace deal, it's really the Biden peace deal.
13:18
Speaker 3: And that's utter nonsense because Biden spent four years demonstrating
13:24
Speaker 3: weakness and appeasement to our enemies. That weakness and appeasement,
13:29
Speaker 3: I believe, is why October seventh happened. The one hundred
13:32
Speaker 3: billion dollars that Joe Biden, with Tony Blinkn being a
13:35
Speaker 3: very active part of that, flowed one hundred billion dollars
13:39
Speaker 3: to the Ayatola Kameenee in Iran. He provides ninety percent
13:44
Speaker 3: of the funding ninety percent of the funding to Hamas, Yeah,
13:48
Speaker 3: and ninety percent of the funding for Hesbalus. In a
13:50
Speaker 3: very real sense, Joe Biden and Tony Blincoln and Kamala
13:55
Speaker 3: Harris and the entire Biden administration funded the October seven
14:00
Speaker 3: desk squads. Because the one hundred billion dollars they sent
14:03
Speaker 3: to Iran and they allowed to flow to Iran, much
14:07
Speaker 3: of that ended up directly in the hands of Hamas
14:09
Speaker 3: and Hezbola carrying out those mass murders. And so that
14:13
Speaker 3: the idiocy to say, well, gosh, all Trump did was
14:17
Speaker 3: implement the Biden plan. It is gibberish. And look the
14:20
Speaker 3: person who refuted that most directly was Hillary Clinton, where
14:24
Speaker 3: she gave credit. And look, we don't have this peace
14:26
Speaker 3: agreement without Trump's strength. Let me tell you, this peace
14:31
Speaker 3: agreement doesn't happen, I believe without President Trump ordering the
14:36
Speaker 3: bombing attack on Iran and taking out Iran's nuclear facilities,
14:40
Speaker 3: nuclear facilities where they were working to develop nuclear weapons
14:44
Speaker 3: to target the United States and to target our allies.
14:46
Speaker 3: And that act of strength, combined with Israel's Twelve Day
14:51
Speaker 3: War where they decimated the Iranian military air defenses, the
14:56
Speaker 3: senior leadership the IRGC leadership. All of that look Hamas,
15:01
Speaker 3: Iran is Hamas's patron, and Iran is in a much
15:06
Speaker 3: much weakened position because of President Trump's strength. That is
15:12
Speaker 3: a major major reason this deal was reached today, and
15:15
Speaker 3: this deal we are both hoping, we are praying that
15:20
Speaker 3: Hamas follows through and that within hours all of the
15:23
Speaker 3: hostages are released. If that happens, this will be an
15:26
Speaker 3: historic day, a day to celebrate, and a day to
15:29
Speaker 3: say thank God for President Donald J. Trump.
15:32
Speaker 2: So, over the last several weeks, you've heard me talk
15:34
Speaker 2: with Josh Cherrard from Burnham. He's been telling stories of
15:38
Speaker 2: how people just like you have used their burna launcher
15:41
Speaker 2: to protect themselves and their families. Now, burn is a
15:45
Speaker 2: handheld pistol that fires both kinetic rounds and chemical irritants
15:50
Speaker 2: to separate you from an attacker, and it can be
15:53
Speaker 2: life saving. Josh is back with you today to tell
15:56
Speaker 2: another story about how a former professional race car saved
16:00
Speaker 2: his family from an attack outside the garage of their
16:04
Speaker 2: own home. Josh, tell me about this.
16:06
Speaker 9: Yeah, it just happened actually not too long ago in
16:09
Speaker 9: Santa Monica, just two blocks from the beach. So former
16:12
Speaker 9: pro race car driver Court Wagner was pulling into his
16:15
Speaker 9: garage with his family in the car when he was
16:17
Speaker 9: confronted by a man hiding in the alley. After trying
16:21
Speaker 9: to talk to him into leaving, it was obviously not
16:23
Speaker 9: going to work. The man lunged at Court with a
16:25
Speaker 9: sharp object, trying to attack him, with his wife and
16:28
Speaker 9: child only steps away. He grabbed his burnal launcher that
16:31
Speaker 9: he kept in the glove box of his car and
16:33
Speaker 9: fired five round, striking the attackers several times. The suspect
16:37
Speaker 9: fled immediately. It worked, and Court called the police and
16:40
Speaker 9: gave him the description of the assailant. And now police
16:42
Speaker 9: were able to look at someone that somewhat matched a
16:44
Speaker 9: description in the area, not quite exactly. And it wasn't
16:47
Speaker 9: until officers lifted the suspect shirt and saw the multiple
16:51
Speaker 9: welts from the burner launder that they knew they had
16:54
Speaker 9: the right guy and subsequently arrested him.
16:56
Speaker 1: It really is incredible.
16:57
Speaker 2: And I get this question now often when I'm out,
17:00
Speaker 2: and that is okay. Tell me about how a launcher works,
17:04
Speaker 2: and they worry about or they wonder about the stopping
17:06
Speaker 2: power of less lethal weapons.
17:09
Speaker 1: I've used it. It's amazing.
17:11
Speaker 2: I have it in all of my cars right now
17:13
Speaker 2: because I want to have this option.
17:15
Speaker 9: Yeah. Absolutely, you know, the stopping power is great, no
17:18
Speaker 9: matter if you're using our kinetic rounds or even the
17:20
Speaker 9: chemical agent rounds that obviously have the gas in them,
17:23
Speaker 9: the tear gas, the pepper spray that's going to incapacitate them.
17:26
Speaker 9: This is a great case of how some resistance, enough
17:29
Speaker 9: resistance obviously to cause these wealth immediately stop the situation
17:33
Speaker 9: and was able to provide that safety for Court and
17:36
Speaker 9: his family.
17:37
Speaker 1: It really is incredible.
17:38
Speaker 2: If you want more information on what I carry and
17:41
Speaker 2: how you and your family members can protect themselves. Or
17:44
Speaker 2: they burn a launcher, whether it is for a daughter
17:47
Speaker 2: or for a family member or a grandparent, go to
17:49
Speaker 2: burna B. Why are in a dot com? That's burnap B?
17:54
Speaker 2: Why r in a dot com?
17:56
Speaker 1: Again? Burna dot com? Right now?
18:00
Speaker 2: Let's go back to something, and I do think one
18:02
Speaker 2: of the very interesting historic moments as we go back
18:05
Speaker 2: and look at this weeks and years and months from now,
18:09
Speaker 2: is going to be Donald Trump not flinching on going
18:13
Speaker 2: after the Iran nuclear sites. When you look at that
18:16
Speaker 2: moment and you see how quickly we now got to
18:19
Speaker 2: where we are when it comes to this deal being done.
18:23
Speaker 2: How much of the psyche you think of Hamas and
18:27
Speaker 2: realizing what they were dealing with with President Trump changed
18:31
Speaker 2: after he actually went after those nuclear sites.
18:34
Speaker 3: I think it was fundamental. And this is where the
18:38
Speaker 3: appeasement crowd gets it wrong. They think that being weak
18:42
Speaker 3: to our enemies avoids war. That they'll say all the
18:46
Speaker 3: time quite piously, oh we hate war. And this is
18:50
Speaker 3: true of left wing Democrats. But I'll tell you within
18:53
Speaker 3: the Trump administration, there was a major debate about whether
18:56
Speaker 3: to launch that bombing run on Iran, and there were
19:00
Speaker 3: major voices that were vocal saying, do not launch that
19:03
Speaker 3: bombing raid. I was urging the president take out those
19:07
Speaker 3: nuclear facilities. It makes America safer. And I think that
19:10
Speaker 3: decision it's the single most important national security decision President
19:15
Speaker 3: Trump has made this second term. And that decision demonstrated
19:19
Speaker 3: number one, it weakened Iran, which is Hamas's patron and funder.
19:23
Speaker 3: But number two, it demonstrates to to Hamas, Okay, this
19:27
Speaker 3: President's not going to flinch. He's not going to give in.
19:29
Speaker 3: He's not weak, he's not going to roll over. Uh
19:33
Speaker 3: When when when we when we try to roar, and
19:37
Speaker 3: I think without that, you don't have a peace deal
19:40
Speaker 3: as long as they believe. Look, Joe Biden, what was
19:42
Speaker 3: he doing. He was freezing weapons to Israel, blocking the
19:47
Speaker 3: idf F and getting weapons. And and I'll tell you
19:49
Speaker 3: what that did. That encouraged Tamas, that said, Okay, great,
19:52
Speaker 3: we've got a friend. We've got a friend in the
19:56
Speaker 3: White House. And and and by the way, you and I.
19:58
Speaker 1: Talked about harder on Israel. We talked about this.
20:00
Speaker 2: Joe Biden was harder on Israel many days than he
20:02
Speaker 2: was on hamasteris.
20:04
Speaker 3: Well, you'll recall the podcast we did several months ago,
20:07
Speaker 3: and it was right after I sat down and spent
20:09
Speaker 3: about two hours with Prime Minister Nen Yahoo when he
20:11
Speaker 3: was in Washington, d C. And one of the things
20:16
Speaker 3: he told me in that meeting is that when they
20:19
Speaker 3: launched the pager attack on Hesbela, you remember that it's
20:22
Speaker 3: one of the most incredible military and intelligence actions.
20:26
Speaker 2: By the way, I still can't wait for the movie
20:27
Speaker 2: to come out. Can we all agree on that.
20:29
Speaker 1: It's going to be unbelievable.
20:30
Speaker 3: It would make an incredible movie. And actually, if you
20:33
Speaker 3: had written that that is a movie script it would
20:36
Speaker 3: be rejected as a movie script. People would say this
20:38
Speaker 3: is too fantastical, There's no way this would happen. This
20:41
Speaker 3: is a bad Jason Bourne movie. It's just not realistic.
20:45
Speaker 3: And you look at what Israel did years earlier, creating
20:49
Speaker 3: a shell company in Hong Kong making the pagers, selling
20:52
Speaker 3: them to Hesbela. Hesbela sends them to the terrorists. But
20:55
Speaker 3: one of the things, one of the things you and
20:57
Speaker 3: I talked about on this podcast is the government of
21:01
Speaker 3: Israel when they decided, okay, we're going to detonate those
21:03
Speaker 3: pages and take out the Hesbela terrorists, they did not
21:07
Speaker 3: tell the Biden White House.
21:09
Speaker 4: Yep.
21:09
Speaker 3: And the reason they didn't tell the Biden White House
21:12
Speaker 3: is they were afraid if they told the Biden White House,
21:14
Speaker 3: they'd pick up the phone and warn Hesbela. Yeah that says,
21:19
Speaker 3: you know what, you don't get peace when the American president,
21:24
Speaker 3: when the American White House is going to warn the terrorists, Hey,
21:28
Speaker 3: your your pagers are going to be about to blow up.
21:31
Speaker 3: So they notified the Biden White House as they were
21:34
Speaker 3: detonating the pagers. Hey, by the way, we just blew
21:36
Speaker 3: up about your Hesbela terrorists. And that President Trump saying
21:41
Speaker 3: we stand with Israel period the end is a major,
21:45
Speaker 3: major reason we get to this moment to celebrate the
21:48
Speaker 3: peace deal, to celebrate the ceasefire, but to do so
21:51
Speaker 3: from a position of strength.
21:53
Speaker 2: Let's talk about there's been a lot of criticism of
21:56
Speaker 2: the exchange for these these terrorists, prisoners, murderers that Israel
22:01
Speaker 2: is going to release, and saying that was a capitulation
22:05
Speaker 2: and a bad decision by Israel. I understand that Israel
22:10
Speaker 2: did not want to do this, but they also understood
22:12
Speaker 2: that to get this deal done, there had to be
22:14
Speaker 2: some movement here. I want to get your take and
22:16
Speaker 2: your thoughts and that for people they're just wanting to
22:18
Speaker 2: criticize this deal and try to find something wrong with it.
22:20
Speaker 2: There's a perfect case scenario and then there's reality. This
22:24
Speaker 2: was part of the reality to get this done. To
22:26
Speaker 2: say the twenty that we believe are still alive at
22:28
Speaker 2: this moment.
22:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, negotiations for the release of hostages are always difficult.
22:34
Speaker 3: They raise incredibly challenging issues and questions. I've spent a
22:39
Speaker 3: long time in the Senate. I've made it a real
22:42
Speaker 3: passion of mine to fight for Americans who are detained
22:44
Speaker 3: abroad and to fight for people like Mark Swedan. Mark
22:47
Speaker 3: Sweden was a Texan.
22:49
Speaker 1: By the way, I want to interrupt you.
22:51
Speaker 2: We're just getting word now Hamas has officially just handed
22:54
Speaker 2: over the hostages to the Red Cross. That is coming
22:59
Speaker 2: from Moulti News agencies that Hamas hands over the hostage
23:03
Speaker 2: to the Red Cross. Apparently it has officially just happened,
23:06
Speaker 2: as we're recording this at one twenty eight am Eastern
23:10
Speaker 2: Standard time in the morning.
23:12
Speaker 3: Well, that that is phenomenal, that is great news. We
23:17
Speaker 3: should all say a prayer and thank God that this
23:23
Speaker 3: is an important and historic day. And and you know
23:26
Speaker 3: what I was saying a minute ago that you were
23:27
Speaker 3: asking about in any hostage negotiation, that there are often
23:32
Speaker 3: difficult trade offs and they're agonizing trade offs. And I've tried.
23:37
Speaker 3: Mark Swadana, as I mentioned, was wrongfully imprisoned in communist
23:40
Speaker 3: China for more than a decade, and I repeatedly pressed
23:43
Speaker 3: the Chinese communist government, pressed the Biden administration, and we
23:47
Speaker 3: finally got him released and he's back with his mom
23:49
Speaker 3: in Texas. And that that's a phenomenal thing. But those
23:55
Speaker 3: trade offs are difficult, and so I'm not gonna second
23:58
Speaker 3: guess that decisions President Trump made and Prime Minister net
24:03
Speaker 3: and Yahoo made in terms of the specific negotiations to
24:07
Speaker 3: get the hostages released. Hamas remains incredibly dangerous. They are terrorists.
24:16
Speaker 3: Their objective is to murder as many Israelis as they can.
24:20
Speaker 3: But today's a victory. It's a victory for peace, it's
24:23
Speaker 3: a victory for Israel, it's a victory for President Trump,
24:26
Speaker 3: and on all of that is really good.
24:30
Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on President Trump traveling to Israel
24:33
Speaker 2: and also going to address the people he's going to
24:35
Speaker 2: meet with the hostages. There are some that have said
24:38
Speaker 2: in the media that this seems to be grand standing.
24:40
Speaker 2: I think that's pretty absurd. I think when you're doing
24:43
Speaker 2: a deal, you showing up also probably puts more pressure
24:46
Speaker 2: on Hamas to do what they said they're going to
24:48
Speaker 2: do when you're there. I actually think this is part
24:51
Speaker 2: of the strategy, Like, Hey, if we get on Air
24:53
Speaker 2: Force one and we're over there and we're landing, this
24:57
Speaker 2: is going to make it harder for them to pull out.
24:59
Speaker 2: We seeing the breaking news of the hostage and the
25:01
Speaker 2: Red Cross care as released as are underway. That's one
25:05
Speaker 2: of the other headlines I'm witnessing as we were talking
25:07
Speaker 2: about this. Having Donald Trump fly there had to put
25:10
Speaker 2: more pressure on them to do what they said they
25:12
Speaker 2: were going to do and help almost guarantee or secure
25:15
Speaker 2: or have a better chance to those hostages being released.
25:18
Speaker 1: I don't think it's grandstanding.
25:19
Speaker 2: I think it was a smart move of diplomacy when
25:21
Speaker 2: you're dealing with a terrorist organization.
25:24
Speaker 3: Unquestionably, number one, I think President Trump deeply wanted to
25:27
Speaker 3: be there to celebrate, to celebrate break their release, to
25:30
Speaker 3: celebrate this, this crown breaking victory. But number two, in
25:34
Speaker 3: terms of negotiating President Trump and his entire team, they
25:37
Speaker 3: know there is a very real chance that Hamas reneges
25:41
Speaker 3: on the deal that they Hamas has broken deal after
25:44
Speaker 3: deal after deal. Anyone who is paying the tiniest bit
25:48
Speaker 3: of attention knows that Hamas is not trustworthy. The fact
25:52
Speaker 3: that the President of the United States gets on Air
25:54
Speaker 3: Force one and flies to Israel to be there to say, Okay,
25:57
Speaker 3: you've said you're going to release the hostages, I'm going
25:59
Speaker 3: to be there to to to welcome them. That ratchet
26:04
Speaker 3: ratcheted up the pressure enormously. When he got an Air
26:06
Speaker 3: Force one. He didn't know he knew there was a
26:08
Speaker 3: chance that when he landed, Hamas would have said, nevermind,
26:11
Speaker 3: we're not going to release him, because they've done that
26:13
Speaker 3: over and over and over again. But I'll tell you this,
26:16
Speaker 3: Hamas knew that that that President Trump would be unbelievably pissed. Yeah,
26:21
Speaker 3: if that were the case, And and and that's it
26:24
Speaker 3: goes back to to to the doctrine of peace through strength.
26:27
Speaker 3: That his being there makes clear. Look, guys, I'm not
26:30
Speaker 3: messing around. We've cut a deal. I expect you to
26:32
Speaker 3: stick to the deal. And and I think ratcheting up
26:35
Speaker 3: that pressure, even dealing with people who are not rational
26:40
Speaker 3: actors like Hamas terrorists, uh they saw, I think real downsides.
26:46
Speaker 3: If we break this deal, the consequences would be even
26:52
Speaker 3: more devastating. And and I think there there being his
26:56
Speaker 3: being there increased the likelihood of the hostages actually being
27:01
Speaker 3: released dramatically.
27:03
Speaker 2: By the way, we're getting word now from Israeli sources,
27:06
Speaker 2: you and I really get to do actual breaking news
27:08
Speaker 2: and recording. Israeli sources are now saying the first seven
27:13
Speaker 2: hostages have been released to the Red Cross, so that
27:16
Speaker 2: means they are in in the hands of people that
27:20
Speaker 2: are caring for them, loving on them. But again, Israeli
27:23
Speaker 2: sources are saying the first seven hostages have been released
27:25
Speaker 2: the Red Cross. There's twenty total, so the first seven
27:29
Speaker 2: in part that says they're gonna wait for the prisoners.
27:31
Speaker 2: And I'm assuming now, based on what I've been told
27:33
Speaker 2: on this, to be released a certain set of the
27:36
Speaker 2: prisoners that are being released by Israel, then the next
27:39
Speaker 2: hostages and will come in ways. But this is a
27:41
Speaker 2: certainly an incredible moment for not just Israel, but for
27:45
Speaker 2: all of the family members that are hoping to get
27:46
Speaker 2: their loved ones back. But the first seven hostages have
27:48
Speaker 2: been released to the Red Cross. This is incredible.
27:51
Speaker 3: It is incredible, and I'll give credit to President Trump
27:54
Speaker 3: and to his entire team, and you know, it's striking.
27:57
Speaker 3: We also saw this week that the Nobel Peace Prize
28:01
Speaker 3: was awarded, and in any sane world, it would have
28:04
Speaker 3: been given to Donald Trump. I mean that that that
28:06
Speaker 3: actually is not a difficult decision. If you're actually asking
28:10
Speaker 3: in the past year, who has done the most to
28:13
Speaker 3: advance peace, it's not it's not a close call. Uh.
28:17
Speaker 3: But but the Nobel Prize or are a bunch of Norwegians,
28:21
Speaker 3: and and they're European liberals and they hate, hate, hate
28:25
Speaker 3: Donald Trump.
28:26
Speaker 1: Yep.
28:26
Speaker 3: Uh. So instead they gave it to Maria Coriina Machado,
28:30
Speaker 3: who is the leading opposition figure in Venezuela, standing up
28:35
Speaker 3: uh to Nicholas Maduro. And and I will say Machado
28:38
Speaker 3: is is an extraordinary person. I have I have met
28:41
Speaker 3: with her in person, I visited with her. She has
28:43
Speaker 3: demonstrated remarkable courage uh fighting the tyranny of Maduro. Uh.
28:52
Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, it wasn't even
28:56
Speaker 3: close that that this should have gone to Trump. And
28:58
Speaker 3: by the way, again, if if you don't believe me,
29:02
Speaker 3: then maybe you should believe Machado, because Machado called President Trump.
29:09
Speaker 3: And here's what President Trump said. He said, quote the
29:12
Speaker 3: person who actually got the Nobel Prize called today, called
29:15
Speaker 3: me and said, I'm accepting this in honor of you,
29:19
Speaker 3: because you really deserved it. And by the way, she
29:23
Speaker 3: went and then said that publicly as well, So she
29:25
Speaker 3: not only said that to President Trump, but she said
29:28
Speaker 3: that publicly. Now, that was very smart Machado, that was
29:32
Speaker 3: a very smart thing to do. But it also at
29:36
Speaker 3: this point, it just it's the Nobel Committee being petty liberals.
29:42
Speaker 3: And by the way, these are the same knuckleheads that
29:44
Speaker 3: gave the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama when he
29:48
Speaker 3: was first elected, when he'd literally done nothing, he'd walked
29:52
Speaker 3: in been sworn into office, and they handed him the
29:55
Speaker 3: Nobel Peace Prize for simply not being George W. Bush.
29:57
Speaker 3: He won the Nobel Peace Prize for for existing and
30:01
Speaker 3: being the Democrat who succeeded Bush. Trump. Look, he could
30:06
Speaker 3: cure cancer, and the Nobel Prize is not going to
30:09
Speaker 3: recognize anything because they hate him. But this is an
30:14
Speaker 3: historic achievement and it is something that everyone should celebrate.
30:18
Speaker 2: So many of people they are listening to verdict they're
30:19
Speaker 2: going to get to not only I think here from
30:21
Speaker 2: probably leadership in Israel in the next several hours. It's
30:24
Speaker 2: certainly going to happen in the morning or midday. You're
30:27
Speaker 2: also going to be able to hear from the President
30:28
Speaker 2: of United States of America.
30:30
Speaker 1: What do you expect his message to be?
30:33
Speaker 2: And this is, by the way, all happening right now
30:35
Speaker 2: while the federal government is still shut down in the US,
30:40
Speaker 2: and I want to get your take on that in
30:41
Speaker 2: a moment.
30:41
Speaker 1: But what do you expect to hear from the president today.
30:45
Speaker 3: Look, I think the President is going to say, this
30:47
Speaker 3: is an historic day. This peace agreement is a moment
30:52
Speaker 3: of history that ended a war that has extended for
30:55
Speaker 3: two years, that freed people who have been in captivity
30:59
Speaker 3: for two years subject to horrific treatment. And I think
31:04
Speaker 3: he's going to say, I expect the parties to stick
31:06
Speaker 3: to the terms of the agreement. I think he is
31:08
Speaker 3: going to continue with peace through strength. He's going to
31:13
Speaker 3: continue with the opposite of weakness and appeasement because we
31:16
Speaker 3: don't get to this peace agreement without President Trump's strength.
31:22
Speaker 3: And then this is one thing to remember that there
31:25
Speaker 3: are some observers who want to say that Donald Trump
31:29
Speaker 3: is an isolationist. He has never been an isolationist. He
31:33
Speaker 3: is Look. Look the first term that Trump was in office.
31:37
Speaker 3: When he came into office, he inherited an Isis caliphate
31:41
Speaker 3: that had grown under Barack Obama that was the size
31:44
Speaker 3: of the state of Indiana. They had an entire nation
31:47
Speaker 3: state to wage terror against America, and Donald Trump utterly
31:51
Speaker 3: decimated and destroyed it. Within months, the caliphate was gone.
31:55
Speaker 3: He completely defeated them. He also took out General Solomoni
31:59
Speaker 3: who took out Albert Daddy. Those are not the actions
32:02
Speaker 3: of an isolationist. You look at the second term where
32:06
Speaker 3: he's been bombing the living daylights out of the Huthis
32:08
Speaker 3: who are attacking ships going through the Suez Canal. He
32:12
Speaker 3: is bombing the heck out of narco terrorist off the
32:14
Speaker 3: coast of Venezuela. And by the way, Machada was smart
32:17
Speaker 3: to say he deserved it, because look, her efforts fighting
32:21
Speaker 3: Maduro are very important, they're and they're they're courageous. But
32:26
Speaker 3: President Trump's strength is the single factor that makes it
32:29
Speaker 3: most likely that the Maduro regime will be toppled. And
32:33
Speaker 3: so President Trump taking out those narco terrorist is another
32:37
Speaker 3: example of peace through strength. And finally, the the the
32:40
Speaker 3: Iran bombing ron taking out their nuclear facilities. None of
32:44
Speaker 3: those are the acts of an isolationists. Now, to be clear,
32:48
Speaker 3: President Trump is also not an interventionist. He's not invading
32:53
Speaker 3: foreign countries. I don't expect to see the Marines engaged
32:58
Speaker 3: in invading other countries other than to protect the vital
33:02
Speaker 3: security interest of America, to keep America safe. The only
33:05
Speaker 3: instance in which we would see a ground war is
33:08
Speaker 3: is where there was a direct danger to the lives
33:14
Speaker 3: of Americans, and in those instances, President Trump is willing
33:17
Speaker 3: to use military force, but he's not engaged in this
33:22
Speaker 3: broader endeavor to send in our military to try to
33:26
Speaker 3: turn every country in the world into some utopian democracy.
33:31
Speaker 3: That's not the job of the military. Donald Trump doesn't
33:34
Speaker 3: think it's the job of the military. And the result
33:39
Speaker 3: strength is the best way to avoid war. Our enemies
33:45
Speaker 3: are afraid of Donald Trump. That is a very good thing.
33:49
Speaker 3: Hamas is afraid of Donald Trump. Hesbla is afraid of
33:52
Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Iran is afraid of Donald Trump. Maduro is
33:57
Speaker 3: afraid of Donald Trump. China and Russia are afraid of
34:00
Speaker 3: Donald Trump. All of that is good because America is
34:04
Speaker 3: safer and we are much likely more likely to avoid
34:07
Speaker 3: military conflict when our enemies are afraid of the commander
34:11
Speaker 3: in chief than when our enemies You look at Joe Biden,
34:14
Speaker 3: when they look and say, the commander in chief is
34:17
Speaker 3: weak and completely incapacitated. And that is why we went
34:25
Speaker 3: from no wars across the globe to two wars. Ukraine
34:30
Speaker 3: and Gaza both raging under Joe Biden. That's what happens
34:34
Speaker 3: when you have a week and appeasing President.
34:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, no doubt about it. Again, this is breaking as
34:39
Speaker 2: we continue. Israeli sources are now saying the first seven
34:43
Speaker 2: living hostages have been released to the Red Cross in
34:47
Speaker 2: Tel Aviv right now. We are witnessing celebration in the streets.
34:51
Speaker 2: We are seeing this in Jerusalem as well. The videos
34:54
Speaker 2: are trying to come in as is basically eight forty
34:56
Speaker 2: am in Israel right now. We're seeing people lying reach
35:00
Speaker 2: of the highway right now and Rim Israel as well.
35:03
Speaker 1: And this is just some of that excitement after two.
35:06
Speaker 2: Plus years of these people that were taken on that
35:10
Speaker 2: October seventh attack day. We're going to keep monitoring this
35:14
Speaker 2: obviously until we wrap up. But I do want to
35:16
Speaker 2: get you an update for everyone on the government shutdown
35:19
Speaker 2: here in the US. We are into two weeks now
35:22
Speaker 2: of this government shutdown. We are starting to see it
35:24
Speaker 2: affect people's lives or seeing healthcare issues with those For example,
35:29
Speaker 2: in San Antonio, I was there today talking about there's
35:32
Speaker 2: a lot of people there that are saying that the
35:34
Speaker 2: providers are not able to get the money and the
35:36
Speaker 2: funding they need.
35:37
Speaker 1: Doctors are frustrated.
35:39
Speaker 2: The Schumer shutdown is really starting to hurt people in
35:41
Speaker 2: our military, their kids, those with special needs as well.
35:45
Speaker 2: Your reaction. How much long are this is going to continue?
35:47
Speaker 2: And do you see any movement this week?
35:49
Speaker 3: Well, we're right now in day twelve of the Schumer shutdown,
35:53
Speaker 3: and the government is shut down because over and over
35:56
Speaker 3: and over again, the Democrats are voting shut the government down.
36:01
Speaker 3: And I will say, you know, it's actually interesting today
36:04
Speaker 3: on Twitter, fifty three Republicans was trending, and the reason
36:09
Speaker 3: it was trending was an exchange back and forth that
36:12
Speaker 3: I had with Gavin Newsom on the shutdown. So Gavin
36:15
Speaker 3: Newsom tweeted out, Wow, that is wild. I wonder who
36:19
Speaker 3: has control of the White House, Senate and the House.
36:21
Speaker 3: And this is one of the Democrat talking points as well.
36:24
Speaker 3: This is the Republican's fault because the President and the
36:28
Speaker 3: Senate and the House are all in Republican control. Here's
36:32
Speaker 3: what I responded on X. I said, Gavin is deliberately
36:35
Speaker 3: lying to fund the government. Takes sixty votes in the Senate.
36:41
Speaker 3: There are only fifty three Republicans. We need at least
36:46
Speaker 3: seven Democrats. We keep voting to open the government, Dems
36:51
Speaker 3: keep voting to shut it down. Gavin Newsom knows this
36:57
Speaker 3: and he's lying to you. And as of right now,
37:00
Speaker 3: it's had one point seven million views. It was trending
37:02
Speaker 3: on Twitter. And it's the simple fact we cannot pass
37:06
Speaker 3: funding for the government without sixty votes in the Senate.
37:09
Speaker 3: That means there is nothing Republicans can do to fund
37:12
Speaker 3: this on our own. The Democrats all know this. We
37:16
Speaker 3: have voted, I think eight times now the Republicans have
37:19
Speaker 3: voted to open the government to fund the government, and
37:23
Speaker 3: every Democrat but I think three, have voted no. And
37:29
Speaker 3: that's why we have a shutdown. Now. We're all expected
37:33
Speaker 3: to go back to DC on Tuesday of this week
37:35
Speaker 3: and we'll vote again to fund the government. I voted
37:37
Speaker 3: to fund the government now, over and over and over again.
37:40
Speaker 3: I'll vote again on Tuesday to fund the government. And
37:43
Speaker 3: I think it is very likely right now the Democrats
37:46
Speaker 3: will continue the Schumer shutdown.
37:48
Speaker 1: Wow.
37:49
Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what I think is one of
37:51
Speaker 3: the major reasons is coming up on October seventeenth, there
37:55
Speaker 3: is this big rally in DC, No King's Rally, bunch
38:00
Speaker 3: of the left wing radicals are coming to DC. And
38:04
Speaker 3: and you know what, most of my colleagues believe is
38:08
Speaker 3: the Democrat senators are terrified of opening the government before
38:12
Speaker 3: that rally because they don't want their crazy base, the
38:16
Speaker 3: same base that that almost cost Schumer the job his
38:19
Speaker 3: job last time. They don't want their crazy base to
38:22
Speaker 3: get angry, and so I think most of us.
38:25
Speaker 2: So you're telling me the American people right now that
38:29
Speaker 2: there's a very good chance that the government shutdown will
38:31
Speaker 2: continue because of a rally date.
38:34
Speaker 3: Yep. And that date again is what October seventeenth?
38:37
Speaker 2: Okay, so the thirteenth, fourteenthie, okay, So we got another
38:41
Speaker 2: five six days of this just to get to the
38:44
Speaker 2: rally and then maybe we'll actually do their job and
38:46
Speaker 2: like fund the government.
38:48
Speaker 3: Look, at some point they're going to do their job
38:50
Speaker 3: and fund the government. But you know, a bunch of
38:53
Speaker 3: federal federal employees are about to miss their first paycheck.
38:57
Speaker 3: I'll tell you. Ordinarily, soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines would
39:00
Speaker 3: lose their first paycheck as well. The Trump Department of
39:04
Speaker 3: Wars said they're going to move some funds around and
39:07
Speaker 3: pay our servicemen and women, and Democrats are furious. How
39:11
Speaker 3: dare you find a way? Look, I don't know if
39:13
Speaker 3: they can do it because it is not easy with
39:15
Speaker 3: the funding paused. But the Democrats don't care. And I'll
39:18
Speaker 3: tell you one of the great acts of hypocrisy is
39:23
Speaker 3: the Democrat congressmen are all paying themselves, or most of them,
39:27
Speaker 3: maybe I don't know about all. But so, under the
39:31
Speaker 3: twenty eighth Amendment to the Constitution, the compensation of a
39:35
Speaker 3: member of Congress cannot be reduced during your term of office,
39:38
Speaker 3: which means during a shutdown, House members and senators get
39:42
Speaker 3: paid no matter what, even though everyone else their paycheck stop.
39:45
Speaker 3: Elected members of Congress get their paycheck. Now you can
39:49
Speaker 3: say no. So I sent a letter to the Secretary
39:52
Speaker 3: of the Senate saying, please hold my paycheck, do not
39:55
Speaker 3: pay me. I do not want that money deposited in
39:58
Speaker 3: my account till the government shutdown ends, until our service
40:03
Speaker 3: members are being paid. I'm not going to pay myself.
40:05
Speaker 3: But you look at these Democrats who are happily shutting
40:08
Speaker 3: the government down. They're also taking their own paycheck and saying, gosh,
40:11
Speaker 3: I like being paid. And you know they are not
40:16
Speaker 3: troubled at all. If if some young corporal serving overseas
40:21
Speaker 3: suddenly doesn't get his paycheck and can't pay his bills
40:24
Speaker 3: this week.
40:25
Speaker 1: It's incredible.
40:26
Speaker 2: As we wrap this up at one forty seven am
40:30
Speaker 2: Eastern Center time, the latest news we have, and this
40:33
Speaker 2: is good news. Israeli sorts are saying the first seven
40:35
Speaker 2: living hostages have been released the Red Cross. We're obviously
40:39
Speaker 2: waiting on the other thirteen and that hopefully by the
40:42
Speaker 2: time you get to hear this in the morning on
40:45
Speaker 2: your commuter in the afternoon, they've all been released.
40:48
Speaker 1: But this is certainly a good day.
40:50
Speaker 2: And we'll have a lot more on this, I can
40:52
Speaker 2: promise on Wednesday morning as well.
40:54
Speaker 3: And Ben, let me say this. Let me say this finally, Yeah,
40:57
Speaker 3: number one, congratulations to President Trump and team. Congratulations to
41:01
Speaker 3: Prime Minister Netanyahu and his team. Congratulations to the people
41:05
Speaker 3: of Israel who are celebrating right now and rightly celebrating.
41:08
Speaker 3: And I just want to say, praise God. God is
41:11
Speaker 3: good all of the time.
41:13
Speaker 1: Amen.
