- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in its true good together. For I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join me. You gotta turn you go, You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn out, turn you haven't got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water got
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come Come on your thing, huh, I show will good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show. Man got a radio show because God is
- 2:13Speaker 1: in a blessing business. I just happened to be a recipient.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I just happened to got a couple of things right,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and man, his grace and mercy carries you the rest
- 2:28Speaker 1: of the way. All you got to do is get
- 2:31Speaker 1: a couple of things right, and then his grace and
- 2:34Speaker 1: his mercy will take over his favor, his love of you.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's it's already evident. I mean, you know, because so
- 2:42Speaker 1: many times we go along without even acknowledging him or
- 2:46Speaker 1: conferring with him in our decisions, and we look up
- 2:49Speaker 1: when we find ourselves in a predicament, and he always
- 2:52Speaker 1: comes to the rescue. He always manages to show up.
- 2:58Speaker 1: He's never too late, he's never one minute too late.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And so in light of this today I wanted to
- 3:05Speaker 1: talk to you about something. It's another principle of success
- 3:12Speaker 1: that I'd like to share with everybody this morning. And
- 3:16Speaker 1: once again, these are not things that you don't know
- 3:19Speaker 1: or you've never heard before. These are just reminders along
- 3:23Speaker 1: the way. And one of the things you have to
- 3:26Speaker 1: be conscious of is don't be afraid to change. Don't
- 3:30Speaker 1: be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. See,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I have a theory, don't be afraid to change because
- 3:39Speaker 1: change is coming anyway. You know, everything changes, nothing remains
- 3:44Speaker 1: the same nothing, and change is inevitable. Now, you could
- 3:50Speaker 1: participate in the change, or you can react to the change.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Are you following me? You can participate in the change
- 4:01Speaker 1: or you can react to the change. But don't be
- 4:05Speaker 1: afraid to change because change is coming anyway. Now, what
- 4:09Speaker 1: I mean by that is this, in participating in the
- 4:13Speaker 1: change or reacting in the change, there is a difference. See,
- 4:19Speaker 1: if you react to the change, that means the change
- 4:23Speaker 1: has occurred and now you have to make the necessary
- 4:26Speaker 1: adjustments to the change. Example, the boss walks in, you
- 4:31Speaker 1: think your job is good. The boss walks in and
- 4:34Speaker 1: hands you a pink slip. That right there, that's a change.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Now you didn't participate in this change because you didn't
- 4:42Speaker 1: ask for the pink slip. But now you got to
- 4:44Speaker 1: react to the pink slip. Whenever you have to react
- 4:49Speaker 1: to the change, it's an adjustment period. It almost throws
- 4:55Speaker 1: you off. So change is going to come. It always does.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You could participate or you can react. Or let's say
- 5:09Speaker 1: your boss comes in and hands you the pink slip,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and you said, you know what I've been preparing for
- 5:16Speaker 1: this day. Always knew nothing last forever. I've been working
- 5:21Speaker 1: on the sideline, on the business idea I had and
- 5:25Speaker 1: I had, or I had several other applications in around town.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I was just holding off to see what was going going.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So when they hand you the pink slip, the transition
- 5:35Speaker 1: to adjustment you make is a lot more smooth a
- 5:37Speaker 1: transition because now you just transition into your new business
- 5:42Speaker 1: I did that you've been working on, Or you transition
- 5:44Speaker 1: into the apps you already had in or the contacts
- 5:47Speaker 1: you made the preparation for when the day they're coming
- 5:50Speaker 1: in hand you the pink slip. We stee, what did
- 5:53Speaker 1: they surprise you with it? This is just one example
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'm giving you, so you know, let's not nick pick
- 5:58Speaker 1: the message. So what I'm saying to everybody is, don't
- 6:04Speaker 1: be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. So
- 6:08Speaker 1: many people are stuck in a rut because of your
- 6:12Speaker 1: our refusal to change. I was hell bent on a
- 6:17Speaker 1: certain thing going a certain way, and this is how
- 6:20Speaker 1: I was gonna go. Well that that I was thinking
- 6:23Speaker 1: didn't really fit. Now in my own personal experience, this
- 6:28Speaker 1: may not be yours, but in my own personal experience,
- 6:31Speaker 1: the things that I've had the most trouble letting go
- 6:34Speaker 1: of was something I wanted when I line myself up
- 6:40Speaker 1: with the will of God to ask God what he
- 6:42Speaker 1: wanted for me. You understand, those things came a lot
- 6:48Speaker 1: more easy to me because it was in the will
- 6:52Speaker 1: of God. It was what God wanted me to do too. Okay,
- 6:54Speaker 1: see what you mean by that? Okay, here we go.
- 6:57Speaker 1: When things were going wrong in relationships for me, what
- 7:04Speaker 1: I did was the biggest mistake I've ever made was
- 7:08Speaker 1: I attempted to fix what was wrong in my relationship
- 7:12Speaker 1: outside of the relationship filming. Okay, so I'm out there
- 7:17Speaker 1: working my groove like I want to. Well, now, guess what,
- 7:22Speaker 1: there's a cause and effect for all of that too.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Your house ain't gonna get better. It can't. And then
- 7:30Speaker 1: in that lady's room for some other things. And so
- 7:33Speaker 1: now that when the change come, guess what, I gotta
- 7:37Speaker 1: react to it. Now, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta
- 7:40Speaker 1: have a reaction to it. Had I lined myself up
- 7:43Speaker 1: in the will of God, the transition may have grown differently.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It could have still ended the relationship. But guess what,
- 7:54Speaker 1: some of the pain I was in I ain't had
- 7:56Speaker 1: to go through. I bought a lot on myself. Sometimes
- 8:01Speaker 1: you're pursuing a passion of yours, and what God really
- 8:06Speaker 1: wants you to do is pursue your gift. So now
- 8:09Speaker 1: you're pursuing your passion. Right, you're passionate about golf. You
- 8:13Speaker 1: love golf so much you just determine. But now you're
- 8:17Speaker 1: messed around. You ain't made it on the PGA Tour yet,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and you fortify still talking about I'm gonna play on
- 8:23Speaker 1: the PGA Tour. Really, okay, maybe you ain't as good
- 8:27Speaker 1: as as you think, or maybe you're not as gifted
- 8:29Speaker 1: as you think. Maybe you're pursuing a passion. Sometimes, man,
- 8:33Speaker 1: we have to change and we have to ask God
- 8:37Speaker 1: what is his will? His will is much simpler. It's
- 8:40Speaker 1: a simpler rule. Not going to be easier, it's simpler.
- 8:45Speaker 1: See when I wake up now, it's simple for me
- 8:47Speaker 1: to wake up because I know that all a few
- 8:50Speaker 1: things that I have to do. I have to click
- 8:53Speaker 1: this mic on. I have to be positive. I have
- 8:57Speaker 1: to be inspirational, I have to be in and if
- 9:00Speaker 1: I have to be uplifting, got it, that's what he want.
- 9:04Speaker 1: All I got to do is sit down, close my eyes,
- 9:07Speaker 1: ask God to help me be who he wants me
- 9:10Speaker 1: to be. And for the most part, he tell me
- 9:13Speaker 1: what to say. Now, guess what he's done though, to
- 9:16Speaker 1: create this in me. I went through enough things in
- 9:20Speaker 1: my life. I had enough challenges. I made plenty of mistakes.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So I now, at my age, I can turn around
- 9:27Speaker 1: and tell somebody listening to me, Okay, this is what
- 9:30Speaker 1: I did. This is a mistake I made. Maybe you
- 9:31Speaker 1: see yourself in this story right here. Maybe you don't
- 9:34Speaker 1: have to go this way, or this is what I've
- 9:36Speaker 1: learned about becoming successful. Here's a principle that I learned.
- 9:39Speaker 1: But then guess what. I had to be unsuccessful to
- 9:42Speaker 1: get it though did not. So you can't have a
- 9:45Speaker 1: testimony without a test Change is coming, It's inevitable. You
- 9:49Speaker 1: can participate or you can react. I much prefer to
- 9:53Speaker 1: participate in the change. All right, let's go. Well, look
- 10:03Speaker 1: at you all up in a Thursday? What can I can?
- 10:07Speaker 1: You not believe it? You made it to Thursday. You
- 10:10Speaker 1: only got one more day, one more day, and we're
- 10:13Speaker 1: gonna help you get through it. Ain't that right, Charley Stowburing,
- 10:16Speaker 1: We are here for you. That's right. Good morning, Jay,
- 10:20Speaker 1: Anthony Brown, Good morning, good morning, good morning. Here it
- 10:24Speaker 1: is on a Thursday. What's up calling Pharrell? What's up
- 10:27Speaker 1: with your baby? What's up? Just straight chilling on this Thursday?
- 10:32Speaker 1: What's happening? Good morning everyone, Good morning everybody. He's my
- 10:35Speaker 1: writing partner and my sick buddy. What's up? Junior in
- 10:39Speaker 1: the house? Y'all's Monday, Tuesday, Wedday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Love Thursday.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'm wrong with Thursday Love? Isn't that right? He's the
- 10:52Speaker 1: King of Franks, not king, the King of pranks. Nephew, Tommy,
- 10:57Speaker 1: what's up, sir? It's a Tommy Thursdays. Aby, that's the
- 11:00Speaker 1: best day of the week. It is a timey Thursday. Okay,
- 11:04Speaker 1: it's sex, that's what it is. If you make it
- 11:06Speaker 1: on Thursday, you got it. You got this beat, really
- 11:09Speaker 1: got this beat. A lot of people do Thursday and
- 11:12Speaker 1: then don't do a damn thing on Friday. So nothing. Yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you know, you gotta recover. You gotta recover on talking.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Wait for the weekend, get here and don't do nothing. No, wait,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I want to tell y'all. I saw this TikTok, this
- 11:28Speaker 1: dude but sitting at his desk right, and it was
- 11:31Speaker 1: the day had just started. He was on his phone,
- 11:33Speaker 1: just scrolling and looking at stuff. So he did it
- 11:36Speaker 1: like all day. Then about four thirty, right, he puts
- 11:40Speaker 1: down his phone, saying, let me do some work. So
- 11:43Speaker 1: he puts his phone down, right, so it's like four thirty.
- 11:45Speaker 1: About four thirty five, he get another something funny from
- 11:49Speaker 1: somebody and then he just thought, laughing, I get crazy.
- 11:52Speaker 1: It stayed on his phone time. I said, Oh, that
- 11:57Speaker 1: is us. That us when when we when we worked
- 12:02Speaker 1: at the Steve Show, we keep our computers facing us
- 12:05Speaker 1: because a lot of times we you know, we're getting
- 12:08Speaker 1: a little shopping or ring the flight in. You know, right,
- 12:16Speaker 1: that's the best side to make travel art out everyone
- 12:22Speaker 1: first class three B yeah. Yeah. You ever get a
- 12:27Speaker 1: warning from a friend and says, don't open this around
- 12:30Speaker 1: other people. We are your friends. I will go in
- 12:35Speaker 1: the bathroom and lock the dough. Jay. Have you gotten
- 12:42Speaker 1: used to having company yet? There's no no one's been
- 12:45Speaker 1: here and no one will be here if you're not
- 12:49Speaker 1: delivering something. You have no business here. That's not an
- 12:53Speaker 1: Amazon truck outside. We don't have a box in your hand.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Don't even come up this way because I'm not into
- 13:01Speaker 1: You're not answer what people stopping? Company? Company boxes, company boxes?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Only company? What do you have against company? Show? Seriously,
- 13:12Speaker 1: they don't know when to leave, and that's what I
- 13:16Speaker 1: have against company. They don't know when to leave a
- 13:19Speaker 1: good time, like thirty minutes a hour, no, no, no, hey,
- 13:23Speaker 1: how you doing, just checking on you. I gotta go
- 13:26Speaker 1: that that works fine for me, and at the time
- 13:30Speaker 1: we gotta go as well. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:32Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we have time for ask bitter man.
- 13:36Speaker 1: He's not gonna help you, but we'll be back to
- 13:40Speaker 1: find out what he's gonna do. Right after this you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, guys, it is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: for ask a bitter man. Hit him with it. Bitter man,
- 13:51Speaker 1: here we go. If you get some help out of this.
- 13:54Speaker 1: You pulled it out, Okay, you did see. It's not
- 13:59Speaker 1: here for that. That's not at all right. This one's
- 14:02Speaker 1: from Brianna and Monroe, Louisiana. Brianna writes, I am a
- 14:05Speaker 1: forty one year old woman engaged to a cheater. I
- 14:09Speaker 1: was this man's mistress for three years, and his wife
- 14:11Speaker 1: found out about us and divorced him. After his divorced,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I found him found out he was also messing around
- 14:17Speaker 1: with his coworker, and I was hurt when I found
- 14:20Speaker 1: out I wasn't his only mistress. His wife reached out
- 14:23Speaker 1: to me and said he's a ritual cheer and I
- 14:26Speaker 1: could do better. She told me that he's only marrying
- 14:29Speaker 1: me because he cannot be alone. Is this sincere advice
- 14:33Speaker 1: from her? Or is she being a hater? Please advice?
- 14:37Speaker 1: She is definitely being a hater. But I have to
- 14:40Speaker 1: you know, m chastise. You side pieces should never investigate
- 14:45Speaker 1: a damn thing. Okay, nothing. Your place is to wait
- 14:50Speaker 1: until you call you don't have time to be looking
- 14:54Speaker 1: through phone numbers and looking in phones that ain't your place,
- 14:58Speaker 1: that ain't your thing to do. Do what you do. Boom,
- 15:04Speaker 1: thank you, go ahead. Timmy gets some because she's like
- 15:08Speaker 1: you are a number two. He has a number one. Well,
- 15:14Speaker 1: come on, if he gets rid of number one, he's
- 15:19Speaker 1: gonna get another number one. You don't move up. You
- 15:24Speaker 1: don't move because you're too good at two. You don't
- 15:28Speaker 1: have experience that we would he move you what horrible
- 15:33Speaker 1: boy in the word in the words of five heartbeats,
- 15:37Speaker 1: just saying about you just ain't got nothing to do
- 15:41Speaker 1: with you, moving on to help someone else. Jennifer in
- 15:51Speaker 1: Denver says, I'm a fifty year old married woman with
- 15:54Speaker 1: a man on the side. We met at a bookstore
- 15:57Speaker 1: and we share a love for real books and the
- 16:00Speaker 1: smell of pages and ink. We also share a love
- 16:03Speaker 1: of having sex in a car. It is refreshing to
- 16:06Speaker 1: find a man that is as quirky as I am,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and we recite piety, poetry and classic literature while we're
- 16:13Speaker 1: having sex, and it intensifies the experience. We had tried
- 16:17Speaker 1: sex a normal way in a bed, but it was stale.
- 16:21Speaker 1: It is too risky to keep having sex in a car.
- 16:24Speaker 1: How do we keep the magic going and not get caught?
- 16:27Speaker 1: You need unescalated. You need to get you unescalated and
- 16:31Speaker 1: let them seats down in the bat And don't don't
- 16:35Speaker 1: ask me how I noticed, but I've heard that it's
- 16:37Speaker 1: been done. You left them seats all the way down,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and you can take that little thing up the buys
- 16:42Speaker 1: off the bat. You can take that completely all and
- 16:45Speaker 1: it so I've heard. So I've heard, and you can
- 16:48Speaker 1: put an air magistry in it. It's perfectly and make
- 16:53Speaker 1: sure the car's in part. And so you don't mind. Yeah,
- 16:57Speaker 1: if you don't mind, get sometimemy to me or not
- 17:00Speaker 1: to be that is the question. Oh, some slings and
- 17:07Speaker 1: arrows about breadst to take arms? Sen, Your troubles involve
- 17:12Speaker 1: posing in oh the pushing. That once was a man
- 17:18Speaker 1: named Dave who had sex with a lady in a cave. Okay,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I can't even do that. When I can't do that,
- 17:25Speaker 1: what happens to a dream deferred like a razor and
- 17:30Speaker 1: the sun that doesn't that's to like a soul and
- 17:33Speaker 1: then run doesn't stink like rotten meat. Oh, Christen sugar,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you sit down, now because you find it kind of hard.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Sun eyes climbing on. Life for me ain't been no
- 17:44Speaker 1: crystal stock. Go ahead, on't time to get something? Man,
- 17:51Speaker 1: Come on, tell you the neighborhood Ford, Come on, man
- 17:56Speaker 1: and man, I don't do that. I do for it
- 17:58Speaker 1: for people. I can't I the portrait for people. I'm
- 18:03Speaker 1: not fit the guin Nah, I got focus, all right,
- 18:08Speaker 1: we will move on. Then we'll move on. In Columbus, Georgia,
- 18:12Speaker 1: Sarah says, I'm a thirty nine year old white woman
- 18:15Speaker 1: and I'm married to a forty one year old black man.
- 18:17Speaker 1: My mother in law has been a holy terror in
- 18:20Speaker 1: our relationship from day one. She talks about how I
- 18:23Speaker 1: do everything and how I run my household. She criticizes
- 18:27Speaker 1: the way I dressed my daughters and wants me to
- 18:29Speaker 1: perm my daughter's hair. We argue a lot, and my
- 18:32Speaker 1: husband is always remaining neutral. So I told him it's
- 18:37Speaker 1: time to get his mother straight. He said that his
- 18:39Speaker 1: mom has a right to have an opinion. Is he
- 18:41Speaker 1: taking her side? What do I do? Yes, he is
- 18:44Speaker 1: taking his mom's side, and he's gonna have to take
- 18:47Speaker 1: his mom's out. But what you need to do to
- 18:49Speaker 1: stop her from coming over there. You need to completely
- 18:53Speaker 1: white your house. I mean, I mean, if you need
- 18:55Speaker 1: to have you need to make it look white. You
- 18:58Speaker 1: need to put a gingham tablecloth on your tables. You
- 19:02Speaker 1: need to get them old them old rocking chairs. You
- 19:05Speaker 1: need them. You need them. Every time she come over there,
- 19:08Speaker 1: you gotta bean salad. And you're telling her that you're
- 19:11Speaker 1: attempting to make colar greens, but you're all wrong. Put
- 19:16Speaker 1: you putting, you're putting ham in the collar, greens and
- 19:20Speaker 1: chicken wings, and that she'll she'll stop from coming over
- 19:24Speaker 1: that once you completely white chill house. And you gotta
- 19:28Speaker 1: get one of them little yard men that has his arm,
- 19:30Speaker 1: one of them little jockets you gotta put out in
- 19:32Speaker 1: the front yard. You gotta put that in looking the
- 19:37Speaker 1: white woman, the white woman. You're helping the white woman. Jay,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I know how to tell her, the white woman in
- 19:48Speaker 1: her house. I'm telling you what to do, all right. Oh,
- 19:55Speaker 1: you gotta watch nothing but Christian channels, nothing but seven
- 20:02Speaker 1: and Fox every night. And then you switch the net
- 20:04Speaker 1: and then you go back Fox, Twining, Folks, scheven, and
- 20:09Speaker 1: you have it all through the house, so no matter
- 20:10Speaker 1: where she go, she hit fops. Okay, and that'll keep
- 20:14Speaker 1: our ass out of it. Trust me that to do that.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Trust this is my bible. What it says, I am
- 20:25Speaker 1: all right, Well, we don't have time for the next one.
- 20:28Speaker 1: We'll save it for later. I'll give you a little hint.
- 20:31Speaker 1: It's from Darryl in Little Rock. Okay, oh my god,
- 20:36Speaker 1: is it awesome? Gods I'm having with that, ladies and gentlemen,
- 20:46Speaker 1: is asked bitter man, uncut and uncensored. All right, coming
- 20:51Speaker 1: up next, it is the nephew with run that frank
- 20:53Speaker 1: back right after this you're listening show coming up at
- 20:59Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Miss Anne is standing by
- 21:02Speaker 1: with our national news for today and in entertainment news.
- 21:05Speaker 1: R Kelly was called a predator at a sex abuse
- 21:08Speaker 1: trial on yesterday. We'll talk about these stories at the
- 21:11Speaker 1: top of the hour, but right now, the nephew is
- 21:13Speaker 1: in the building. We'll run that prank back. What you
- 21:16Speaker 1: got for his nap? I need you to wash me?
- 21:20Speaker 1: You wash me myself? Why so so so? Don't nobody
- 21:33Speaker 1: want to just lay back and be quashed. Don't nobody
- 21:36Speaker 1: want washed or washed? E way way? All right, let's
- 21:45Speaker 1: got wash me. It's a great day nursery. This is Felicia.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to get somebody to come down here to
- 21:53Speaker 1: five on one. I'm sorry, five one. I need somebody
- 21:58Speaker 1: to come down here to five on one and get
- 22:00Speaker 1: and clean me up. Sir. I think you might have
- 22:03Speaker 1: the wrong number. This is n This is just the nurse.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I need the nurse to come down here to five
- 22:10Speaker 1: hole one to clean me up. Sir. This is the nursery,

- 25:48Speaker 1: You get your dot he come clean this bad pain

- 26:02Speaker 1: Please do not speak to me like that. I'm trying
- 26:06Speaker 1: to know. You're gonna calm down and quit talking to
- 26:11Speaker 1: me like that. I'm trying to help you. Now. That's
- 26:13Speaker 1: just rude speaking to me like that that. This is
- 26:16Speaker 1: a nursery read right now as I'm talking to him.
- 26:26Speaker 1: But David, You're not gonna talk to me like that.
- 26:28Speaker 1: That's just rude and disrespectful. Don't speak to me like that.
- 26:31Speaker 1: When you're talking about kicking, I will kick yo in
- 26:34Speaker 1: the wheelchair. This seems to be the only laguage you understand.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Is me talking to you crazy? Since you're talking to
- 26:40Speaker 1: me crazy, is not coming down that you stay in
- 26:45Speaker 1: that stink? How about that? What you heard me? I said,
- 26:50Speaker 1: you stay in that stank. I'm not cleaning. No, I've

- 27:58Speaker 1: You tell me what it is? Why don't say I
- 28:00Speaker 1: don't know? Nephew taught me, Nephew, Timmy. This is Nephew
- 28:08Speaker 1: tim Me from the Steve Morning Show. Baby, you just
- 28:11Speaker 1: got frank by your sister Nita while you were sitting
- 28:21Speaker 1: up there like what in the world. Yeah, yeah, then
- 28:25Speaker 1: you got me, you got me very, I got you,
- 28:29Speaker 1: I got you. I got one question for you, though,
- 28:32Speaker 1: what is What is the baddest and I mean the
- 28:34Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. It is the Steve
- 28:38Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You got me? Good goodness? Come on,
- 28:48Speaker 1: give it to him. I love it. You gotta give
- 28:49Speaker 1: it to me. That's what we all want. King of
- 28:53Speaker 1: pranks and turning into the King of grits law have mercy.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Just good dot com r I t Z dot com.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Get him. Hit me up. Let me know what you think.
- 29:06Speaker 1: The nephew coming with something brand new. You just got
- 29:08Speaker 1: a track. Let me know what you think. All right,
- 29:10Speaker 1: congratulations Nephew coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:13Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment and national news right after this.
- 29:16Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys,
- 29:22Speaker 1: in today's entertainment news. R Kelly is back in the news.
- 29:25Speaker 1: His sexual abuse trial started yesterday in Brooklyn. R Kelly
- 29:30Speaker 1: was called a predator and he is accused of rackets, hearing,
- 29:33Speaker 1: sexual abuse, and bribery. The jury is made up of
- 29:36Speaker 1: seven men and five women, and the assistant US attorney
- 29:39Speaker 1: said that Kelly was a ring leader of a twenty
- 29:42Speaker 1: year scheme where he recruited women and underage girls for
- 29:46Speaker 1: sex and use lies, threats, and physical abuse to dominate
- 29:50Speaker 1: his victims. Now during the trial, Kelly was wearing a
- 29:54Speaker 1: gray suit, purple tie, and glasses and sat with his
- 29:57Speaker 1: head down during opening statements. Meanwhile, his lawyers said, quote,
- 30:02Speaker 1: they knew exactly what they were getting into. The relationship
- 30:06Speaker 1: mister Kelly had with the various Jane does were consenting relationships.
- 30:11Speaker 1: End quote. Some female accusers and at least one male
- 30:15Speaker 1: accuser are expected to testify in this trial. Kelly has
- 30:19Speaker 1: been in jail for the last two years, and if convicted,
- 30:22Speaker 1: he could face decades decade got a number for you.
- 30:28Speaker 1: So he got heckel at a rape. He did what
- 30:38Speaker 1: oh oh oh yeah, I see what you're saying. Yea.
- 30:43Speaker 1: And they said they had protesters outside the courthouse that
- 30:48Speaker 1: were actually protesting in his favor, saying free r Kelly. Yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 1: it was five five people. And and this is very
- 31:01Speaker 1: different from free Brittany. Okay please now, totally different, totally different,
- 31:06Speaker 1: totally different. Now he needs to same, Yeah, he needs
- 31:11Speaker 1: to stay in, he needs to be rehabilitated. Yeah, he
- 31:14Speaker 1: should never get out. And if he's acquitted of these charges,
- 31:19Speaker 1: then there is still you know, he has more charges
- 31:23Speaker 1: right in Minnesota, and he has more charges in Illinois.
- 31:28Speaker 1: So this is um a long road and hopefully there
- 31:31Speaker 1: will be more careless. Absolutely a little with Timmy Jake.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I mean, that's the best joke I heard. And the
- 31:38Speaker 1: joke was if you believe you can fly now, it's
- 31:43Speaker 1: the time now, and that was a song. This is
- 31:50Speaker 1: real life disgusting. But I mean for for his lawyer
- 32:00Speaker 1: to say that, uh, these were consenting relationships, that's what
- 32:05Speaker 1: you're going with. That's your defense, And I don't see
- 32:09Speaker 1: how that's going to be the defense for all of
- 32:12Speaker 1: the victims. Something those that were you know, under age,
- 32:16Speaker 1: you know, see that at the time of the alleged assault,
- 32:21Speaker 1: so you know, not an expert at this at all,
- 32:25Speaker 1: None of us are for sure. Yeah what we saw though.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Come on now, well you know he lost his other
- 32:33Speaker 1: lawyers remembered out on it. Yeah yeah probably no, no,
- 32:42Speaker 1: no said he probably do like you know, you know
- 32:47Speaker 1: avalanche cases. But this ain't nobody else gonna take this case.
- 32:50Speaker 1: So it's about the best he got. Yeah, that's really yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: it's really said that he put himself in a situation too.
- 33:00Speaker 1: You know, a brilliant person, your life shouldn't have to
- 33:05Speaker 1: end up like this. It really shouldn't. Yeah, because it's
- 33:08Speaker 1: one thing we learn it's not how you start out,
- 33:10Speaker 1: it's how you end up. And he started out brilliantly
- 33:13Speaker 1: and this is where he is now. Yeah. Yeah, that's
- 33:16Speaker 1: really sad. All right, he did this justice all right,
- 33:21Speaker 1: m Yeah, we're moving on now. Jay, it is time
- 33:24Speaker 1: for today's headlines. Please all right, everybody, it's time for
- 33:27Speaker 1: the news with miss an trip. Jay. Thank you soo,
- 33:32Speaker 1: thank everybody. This is a trip. North Carolina Governor Roy
- 33:35Speaker 1: Cooper has declared a state of emergency because of flooding
- 33:38Speaker 1: from the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred. They have some
- 33:40Speaker 1: people missing they're trying to get to. President Biden meanwhile
- 33:43Speaker 1: says the federal government's going to begin offering COVID nineteen
- 33:46Speaker 1: vaccination booster shot September twentieth. The President says he's taken
- 33:49Speaker 1: several other steps to curb the new delta variant. The
- 33:52Speaker 1: President admits that the federal government has only limited power
- 33:55Speaker 1: to impose more widespread vaccine mandates, but he does say
- 33:58Speaker 1: if nursing herbs, for instance, receive Medicaid and Medicare funds,
- 34:01Speaker 1: their employees are going to have to be fully innoculated.
- 34:04Speaker 1: This announcement, I'm using the power of the federal government
- 34:07Speaker 1: as a payer of healthcare cost to ensure reduce those
- 34:12Speaker 1: risks to our most vulnerable seniors. And mister Biden's urging
- 34:15Speaker 1: more businesses to insist that their workers be vaccinated. Meanwhile,
- 34:18Speaker 1: the President as telling ABC's George Stephanopolis that US troops
- 34:23Speaker 1: are going to remain in Afghanistan until after the announced
- 34:27Speaker 1: pull out date unless all Americans are evacuated. For all
- 34:30Speaker 1: Americans are not evacuated, US troops will remain there on
- 34:34Speaker 1: the ground until they get everybody out. That's because some
- 34:37Speaker 1: Americans and American collaborators are being kept from making it
- 34:40Speaker 1: to the airport by the Taliban. As folks to foot
- 34:43Speaker 1: the United at Ember, It's get this announced that Afghan
- 34:46Speaker 1: President Ashraf Ghani is now living in the UAE. Ghani
- 34:49Speaker 1: bolted from Afghanistan days ago, and Afghan's ambassador to the
- 34:53Speaker 1: neighboring Tajikistan is accusing Ghani had taken one hundred and
- 34:56Speaker 1: seventy one million dollars with him one hundred and seventy
- 35:00Speaker 1: that was not his money, and the ambassador's calling for
- 35:02Speaker 1: gun He's arrest. Meanwhile, those flights are still leaving the
- 35:05Speaker 1: airport a couple thousands of Americans others aboard. The State
- 35:08Speaker 1: Department says, for the most part, Americans have been able
- 35:10Speaker 1: to get there, but there are reports, like I say, surprise, surprise,
- 35:14Speaker 1: the Taliban may not be keeping its word about standing
- 35:17Speaker 1: in the way of Afghans who want to get out.
- 35:18Speaker 1: So Deputy of State Wendy Sherman's making the administration's position clear.
- 35:22Speaker 1: We expect them to allow all American citizens, all third
- 35:27Speaker 1: country nationals, and all Afghans who wish to leave to
- 35:30Speaker 1: do so. Safely and without harassment. And like I say,
- 35:34Speaker 1: President Biden says, if they're not out by the end
- 35:36Speaker 1: of this month, we're gonna stay until they are. Finally.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Lizzo is really you know, a lot of people have
- 35:42Speaker 1: been talking about her trending about what she's been going through,
- 35:45Speaker 1: the nastiness she's been getting on social media, and she's
- 35:48Speaker 1: really opened up sadly about all the haters and stuff
- 35:51Speaker 1: who have been attacking her NonStop on social media. It
- 35:55Speaker 1: all pretty much started with her releasing a song Rumors
- 35:59Speaker 1: with Hardy b and it's just gotten worse and worse
- 36:02Speaker 1: and worse, and she's very, very upset by the whole scenk.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I'll talk about it a little later in the morning.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Tommy introduced
- 36:14Speaker 1: the president of Team Tommy. Well, let's do it. We're
- 36:17Speaker 1: about to go deep into the mind, and deep into
- 36:19Speaker 1: the mind of a mind that you've never traveled through before.
- 36:21Speaker 1: But we're going deep. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 36:23Speaker 1: There's free seat belts when you get in here, ladies
- 36:26Speaker 1: and gentlemen. It is the mind of Jay Anthony Brown, Oh,
- 36:30Speaker 1: reminding everybody that the Jay's By Comedy Club is open
- 36:34Speaker 1: tonight tonight, and I'll be in Charlotte this weekend. UG
- 36:41Speaker 1: the twenty one. All right, it came out over the
- 36:43Speaker 1: weekend that Loki and Robin had had some habits in
- 36:49Speaker 1: their lives that we did not know about. Oh yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 1: oh yeah, all right. Well here here's some other superheroes,
- 36:57Speaker 1: little known facts that you may not have heard about.
- 36:59Speaker 1: But I got him right here. Superman, according to Lord's Lane,
- 37:05Speaker 1: he ain't that super in the bedroom. That's what she said.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I don't know if it's he ain't that super Don't
- 37:13Speaker 1: let the Cape fool you because he just ain't. He
- 37:15Speaker 1: really ain't. Aquaman. This is shocking Aqua man, it's a
- 37:21Speaker 1: bed with her. Can you believe that that kind of
- 37:29Speaker 1: stage in the water all the time? The Flash? Everybody
- 37:33Speaker 1: knows the Flash. The Flash has more kids than Nick Cannon.
- 37:38Speaker 1: It's facts about superheroes that you did not even know.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Thore We all love Thor. But he ain't swinging that
- 37:52Speaker 1: hammer in the bedroom. That's what they're saying. They're just
- 37:55Speaker 1: saying it ain't Streets. He's not. He's just not. He's
- 37:59Speaker 1: not about. Yeah, he's not. He's not at all handcock.
- 38:05Speaker 1: We all love handcocks man. It's great superhero, great homeboyd
- 38:11Speaker 1: is in debt up to his wool cap. That's why
- 38:14Speaker 1: he don't have a copstume. He can't afford one man. Catwoman,
- 38:21Speaker 1: that's your crazy ex girlfriend. She'll show up on your
- 38:24Speaker 1: job with that damn outfit on that. Don't tell me
- 38:27Speaker 1: that ain't crazy. That's crazy right there. Wonder Woman is
- 38:31Speaker 1: a dominatrix. Yes she is. Spider Man. Oh my Spider
- 38:36Speaker 1: Man clinging, clinging, hard to break up with. You can't
- 38:42Speaker 1: break that with this dude. He's cleaning. He's just cleaning,
- 38:49Speaker 1: and last but not lead, last, but not leave the
- 38:53Speaker 1: black Panther. Before he left here, he was a player
- 38:57Speaker 1: from the him a layers man. I'm telling you, rest
- 39:00Speaker 1: in peace, man, We love you. And those are SIMI
- 39:03Speaker 1: little known facciable run Spider Man than a cleaning. All right,
- 39:13Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, Thank you, Jay,
- 39:15Speaker 1: we're going to discuss COVID booster shots and Drake says
- 39:19Speaker 1: COVID messed up his hairline. We'll talk about it right
- 39:22Speaker 1: after this. Yeah, we'll be back. I don't know you're
- 39:27Speaker 1: listening to the string show. It's official. COVID booster shots
- 39:33Speaker 1: will start rolling out on September twentieth. The White House
- 39:36Speaker 1: just unveiled the plan, which still needs an expected approval
- 39:40Speaker 1: by the FDA. The rollout was basically it's going to
- 39:43Speaker 1: basically follow the same order as the original distribution, with
- 39:47Speaker 1: healthcare providers, nursing home residents, and other seniors first in line.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Although the Fiser and Maderna vaccine still provide strong protection
- 39:56Speaker 1: against hospitalization and death, officials are concerned now about waning
- 40:01Speaker 1: immunity to the disease. A booster for Johnson and Johnson
- 40:04Speaker 1: recipients is also expected, but because it's approval came a
- 40:08Speaker 1: few months later, that's not enough data and there's not
- 40:11Speaker 1: enough data yet for a recommendation. So there you go. Um,
- 40:15Speaker 1: so what is it eight months after you got your
- 40:18Speaker 1: original shot, then you go in for your booster. Yes,
- 40:22Speaker 1: that is what it is. And you know, they kind
- 40:24Speaker 1: of talked about boosters from the very beginning. Yeah, they
- 40:26Speaker 1: did when they were talking about vaccinations, so it's not
- 40:31Speaker 1: completely surprising. But you know, you gotta do what you
- 40:36Speaker 1: gotta do, and everybody's sired of come on, we gotta
- 40:40Speaker 1: do something. Yeah, we gotta get this hurt and rid
- 40:44Speaker 1: of yourself. Yeah yeah, come on, well, I'm like the vaccine,
- 40:51Speaker 1: the booster. Let's let's take it a step further. How
- 40:54Speaker 1: about how about an ivy Like you just get a drip,
- 40:58Speaker 1: You get a tube full of it, right, and he
- 41:00Speaker 1: just drips in your system as you need it, and
- 41:03Speaker 1: you just carried around that where you you fully protected.
- 41:06Speaker 1: What do you think about that timing? You like that?
- 41:09Speaker 1: You just just get it, something like niquil with that
- 41:12Speaker 1: little cup and just let I know, just just fill
- 41:15Speaker 1: it up to that line. I ain't gonna go over
- 41:17Speaker 1: the line, and right, let me go kick it. Look
- 41:21Speaker 1: in my best life, right, just just spray Atlanta, Just
- 41:28Speaker 1: spray each time, just spray us. No damn shot, you
- 41:34Speaker 1: go outside, you get sprayed. I mean, let's just get
- 41:36Speaker 1: this thing. Let's fight this the best. Yeah, the same
- 41:40Speaker 1: way they water corn fields and stuff. Just just fly
- 41:44Speaker 1: right over the whole city, just say yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, guys,
- 41:50Speaker 1: we're not done with COVID news. Drake, who's thirty four,
- 41:55Speaker 1: has a receding hairline, and guess what he's blaming it on.
- 41:58Speaker 1: He's blaming it on COVID. Uh yeah, you know he
- 42:02Speaker 1: recently contracted COVID. Yeah, you know the heart that he
- 42:06Speaker 1: has shaved right in his hairline at the left temple.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Uh huh. Well it now seems a bit distressed. And
- 42:12Speaker 1: Drake said, well, he responded to an Instagram post that
- 42:16Speaker 1: mocked his heart a little looking a little raggedy, little
- 42:19Speaker 1: raggedy and its appearance. Drake said that I had COVID,
- 42:23Speaker 1: my hair grew in weird. I had to start again.
- 42:26Speaker 1: So he's blaming his hairline on COVID now, and Junior,
- 42:31Speaker 1: you say, what were Yeah, it had a doctor around
- 42:34Speaker 1: support that putting the license on the line for that.
- 42:48Speaker 1: You don't believe him. Hell no, you start to fire
- 42:51Speaker 1: like the rest of that when it's thought, it happens, Dray, happened.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I was twenty eight, twenty eight when it that. That's
- 43:00Speaker 1: when when you started losing your hair. Yeah, and then
- 43:04Speaker 1: and and Jordan was the bomb, So it was it
- 43:06Speaker 1: was perfect time like cut it no ball, I wasn't.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I was in the fort when I just stopped fighting
- 43:13Speaker 1: that that hole in my outfro. There's no longer I
- 43:15Speaker 1: could hold it own anymore. Well, but the good thing
- 43:19Speaker 1: is that you guys all have you know, decent shaped heads,
- 43:22Speaker 1: nicely shaped heads? Yeah, yeah, so it was It's okay,
- 43:27Speaker 1: yeah if you got them them big fat wrinkles in
- 43:30Speaker 1: the back. You ever seen it when they looked like like,
- 43:34Speaker 1: you know, like meat like that that hot dog like dog.
- 43:40Speaker 1: If it's about ground, chuck the ground chuck. Yeah, don't don't,
- 43:47Speaker 1: don't go bomb. Yeah. What are you supposed to do? Junior?
- 43:50Speaker 1: What is a solution if you're losing your hair? It's
- 43:52Speaker 1: a receding hairline. Just go with it, drinking sea where
- 43:56Speaker 1: it go? You know, you know, I mean right now,
- 43:59Speaker 1: it's just seen. So the little bottom part of your
- 44:01Speaker 1: heart now just an eat at the top of it.
- 44:03Speaker 1: The drake is in the front now, so that's all.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Just go with decker. We ain't got the bottom of
- 44:10Speaker 1: the heart. I could see. I could see if Kevin
- 44:14Speaker 1: Durant was complaining, all we are to get out of here.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Right after you're listening to coming up at the top
- 44:29Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after it's my
- 44:32Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today and the subject my husband texted
- 44:35Speaker 1: the wrong woman. Okay, got that. We'll get into it
- 44:39Speaker 1: just a little bit. Yeah, that's when you really made
- 44:48Speaker 1: an error. Okay, and error right now the nephew is here.
- 44:58Speaker 1: You hear him with Day's prying phone call. What ignorance
- 45:02Speaker 1: do you have for us? To Day? I got it
- 45:05Speaker 1: for you, sir. We're going down to the church. Hot
- 45:08Speaker 1: checks at the church? Oh no, lord checks? Okay, okay,
- 45:16Speaker 1: you're not gonna do this to the Lord. Now, you're
- 45:18Speaker 1: not gonna continue to do it. Let's go care doc. Hello, Hello,
- 45:23Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Monica system. Monica please? Who's calling?
- 45:28Speaker 1: This is brother de Seawan. I'm calling. Actually I'm a
- 45:31Speaker 1: member Greater Commissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you?
- 45:35Speaker 1: Calling you actually about the offering? Now? Did you? I
- 45:37Speaker 1: know you paid your ties Sunday? Okay, Now you paid
- 45:42Speaker 1: a love offering as well? Right? Yes, I do? Okay,
- 45:45Speaker 1: Now this past Sunday. I'm looking at a check that
- 45:48Speaker 1: you left us with the bank, right right, I sure
- 45:52Speaker 1: did check sunday. Okay. Now the check, ma'am was two
- 45:56Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Am I correct? Right? Right? I
- 46:00Speaker 1: wrote two checks for my ties and the love offering? Right,
- 46:03Speaker 1: I wrote one for two fifty for the love offering? Okay,
- 46:05Speaker 1: now what is this call regarding why are you calling me? Well,
- 46:09Speaker 1: what I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 46:11Speaker 1: to be a bar of bad news, but your check
- 46:14Speaker 1: that you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And
- 46:19Speaker 1: wait a minute, you said my check bounce for two
- 46:21Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Your check bounce. So what I'm
- 46:24Speaker 1: doing is calling you about recouping the two fifth as
- 46:28Speaker 1: well as you know you you cost us thirty dollars
- 46:33Speaker 1: in bank fees. Wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks.
- 46:36Speaker 1: I wrote a check for one hundred dollars. Did that
- 46:37Speaker 1: one bounce? I don't see to it that that that
- 46:40Speaker 1: one bounced up. All I know is the one that
- 46:42Speaker 1: the love offering has bounced. What did you put them
- 46:44Speaker 1: in at the same time? Because I wrote him at
- 46:46Speaker 1: the same time. They all go in on Monday, ma'am.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Now I didn't put them in at the same time.
- 46:51Speaker 1: I've been putting them in for the last two three years.
- 46:53Speaker 1: The problem is why would people write there, what is
- 46:55Speaker 1: your name? M Brother DeShawn? And you was at it
- 46:58Speaker 1: Sunday I was. I don't think it matters when when
- 47:01Speaker 1: I was there, man, The problem is it that I
- 47:03Speaker 1: didn't put these checks in And I don't understand why
- 47:06Speaker 1: y'all write these checks to the track knowing that they're
- 47:08Speaker 1: gonna bounce, because a lot of people write that good
- 47:11Speaker 1: well not right bad checks? Well, why one clear? Why
- 47:14Speaker 1: the other one didn't clear? Maybe you didn't have enough
- 47:16Speaker 1: money for both of them to clear? What what did
- 47:19Speaker 1: you just say? Maybe you didn't have enough money in
- 47:22Speaker 1: the bank for both of them to clear. And I
- 47:23Speaker 1: don't understand why people planning money in the bank at all.
- 47:27Speaker 1: My checks clear. I don't write no rubber checks. Well,
- 47:29Speaker 1: you wrote one on Sunday, and that's the problem. How
- 47:32Speaker 1: are you gonna try to give a look you wait
- 47:34Speaker 1: a minute. I think you got me confused with somebody else.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I don't write no bad checks. You didn't wrote that
- 47:39Speaker 1: to be nice to you. I'm trying to be nice
- 47:41Speaker 1: to you. Win up, Can we expect the two fifty
- 47:43Speaker 1: plus the thirty dollars? So thirty dollars that's the bank
- 47:46Speaker 1: feeds man for the doll gonna check bouncing. My check
- 47:49Speaker 1: didn't bounce. I don't check my bank. And if my
- 47:52Speaker 1: check clear, you're gonna pay me thirty dollars for calling me,
- 47:55Speaker 1: harassing me about a two hundred and fifty dollar check bounce.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I don't write no Why would you write check? What
- 48:01Speaker 1: you want to sit up in the church and write
- 48:03Speaker 1: these big number checks when you know you ain't got
- 48:05Speaker 1: it in the bank. What did you say? I said,
- 48:08Speaker 1: why would you write these checks when the money ain't in? Now?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Let me tell you it's one thing. I don't write
- 48:14Speaker 1: no bad check. And you got a lot nerds calling
- 48:17Speaker 1: me telling me my check bounce. Your check is the
- 48:20Speaker 1: one that has bounced. And you tell you what you
- 48:21Speaker 1: do since my check bounce, you paid them, since you
- 48:25Speaker 1: got all the money, And don't call me with this again. Hello,
- 48:31Speaker 1: don't you hang upon me no more? Why don't we
- 48:33Speaker 1: gonna get this two fifty and this thirty dollars? Somebody
- 48:38Speaker 1: from the church tobody? I wrote a bad check? I write,
- 48:41Speaker 1: you did write a bad check. I didn't write no
- 48:43Speaker 1: bad Yes you did it. Why are you calling me?
- 48:46Speaker 1: Why the treasure don't call me at church? The treasure
- 48:50Speaker 1: is basiness. I ain't never know the deacon called nobody
- 48:52Speaker 1: about no bad check? Your fully thank you? You got
- 48:57Speaker 1: the money I ain't got Who in the hell is
- 49:00Speaker 1: that in the background? Who is that? Never mind? Who

- 49:05Speaker 1: you're gonna call me to my I wrote a bad check.
- 49:07Speaker 1: You don't you call me no more? And if the
- 49:09Speaker 1: check bads you paid? Okay? He passed to know you
- 49:13Speaker 1: talking like this? You pass to No you calling me?
- 49:16Speaker 1: Can you ask for that? Look? When are we gonna
- 49:18Speaker 1: get this? Two hundred and eighty dollars is what we're
- 49:20Speaker 1: looking for from you. I wrote a check for two
- 49:22Speaker 1: fifty and not get two eighty. You put the thirty
- 49:26Speaker 1: dollars with it. You put two fifty in there. It bounced.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Thirty dollars cost us on bake fees. That's two eighty
- 49:32Speaker 1: waking the church. Expect the money never not no two eighty.
- 49:37Speaker 1: You will never get to eighty. You're gonna make me
- 49:39Speaker 1: come by your and my check in But what did
- 49:41Speaker 1: you say? I'm gonna do what You're gonna make me
- 49:43Speaker 1: come by your house and get this money, bring it own,
- 49:46Speaker 1: bring it Bring you what is the address on this check? Check?
- 49:50Speaker 1: I got it off the check. Bring I bet you
- 49:53Speaker 1: you'll be limping back and I'm watching you. You bet
- 49:56Speaker 1: not be spending no money nowhere. You bet not spend
- 49:59Speaker 1: nothing until I get this two fifty plus thirty whatever
- 50:02Speaker 1: I want to Okay, No, you you know what I am,
- 50:05Speaker 1: and you don't call me no more with this because
- 50:08Speaker 1: my check did not bounce. I don't see how one
- 50:10Speaker 1: check went through and the other bounce. Let me say
- 50:12Speaker 1: this to you. We cannot accept you back into the
- 50:15Speaker 1: House of the Lord no more until you are not.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Don't you come in the Sunday until we get coming
- 50:21Speaker 1: up in the Sunday, and I'm gonna make sure I
- 50:24Speaker 1: find your because you the person I want to see you.
- 50:27Speaker 1: And you know what, I'm gonna call the pastor right

- 50:39Speaker 1: this information. I got one more thing I need to say.
- 50:42Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing to say to me. You don't
- 50:44Speaker 1: upset me with this I talk about I bounced a check.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You should have went to pastor before you call me
- 50:50Speaker 1: with you. I tall a pastor one I got, But
- 50:52Speaker 1: I got one more thing to say before I leave.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Did you listening? What are you about to say to me?
- 50:56Speaker 1: What do you have to say now that you're gonna
- 50:58Speaker 1: pay the check that his nephew Timmy from the Steve

- 52:02Speaker 1: done that. Y'all. We need to get y'all black card
- 52:05Speaker 1: because y'all church Church. Yeah, the Lord Now I have
- 52:11Speaker 1: not put money in The Lord knows, and okay, I've
- 52:16Speaker 1: done that. Ye Lord knows. You didn't have not deliberately.
- 52:23Speaker 1: You know, it just happens. But you know what something
- 52:27Speaker 1: what do you amazed me back in the day is
- 52:28Speaker 1: the church for some reason, I don't know how they
- 52:31Speaker 1: get They get them check clear Monday morning that fast.
- 52:35Speaker 1: It just it goes through any other check tape to Winnsday, thirsty,

- 52:59Speaker 1: when they're collecting offering to me, Jay and Junior. We

- 53:05Speaker 1: I mean it's going to be the preacher Will Will
- 53:10Speaker 1: all will preach. We'll take We've got three different preachers,

- 54:14Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here. It
- 54:16Speaker 1: is the strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject. My husband
- 54:20Speaker 1: texted the wrong woman, Dear Stephen Shirley. A few days ago,
- 54:23Speaker 1: my husband and I went to a sister's baby shower
- 54:26Speaker 1: and I found my husband in the kitchen key Cayan
- 54:30Speaker 1: with a woman, and he put her phone number in
- 54:33Speaker 1: his phone. I went and introduced myself, and she said
- 54:36Speaker 1: she's an old friend and it was good to be
- 54:39Speaker 1: back in town. My husband walked off, but I wanted
- 54:42Speaker 1: to get to know her better. She told me she's
- 54:45Speaker 1: single and she lives in Dallas now, but she'd be
- 54:48Speaker 1: in town a few days. She told me which hotel
- 54:51Speaker 1: she was staying at, and I knew it well because
- 54:54Speaker 1: there's only five minutes from my house. She's a gorgeous
- 54:58Speaker 1: chocolate sister with a beautiful smile and a big booty.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Say that one more, Carla, I need you right here, please. Okay.
- 55:08Speaker 1: She's a gorgeous chocolate sister with a beautiful smile and
- 55:12Speaker 1: a big booty. He says, booty like Carla. All right,
- 55:21Speaker 1: big booty. On our way home, I asked about her
- 55:28Speaker 1: and my husband said he doesn't know her well. I
- 55:31Speaker 1: let him know that I saw him getting her number,
- 55:34Speaker 1: and he said he was just showing her a picture
- 55:36Speaker 1: of our son. Later that night, I was enjoying a
- 55:39Speaker 1: bubble bath and having a cocktail when I got a
- 55:42Speaker 1: text message from my hubby saying, I'll come tuck you
- 55:45Speaker 1: in shortly give me a minute. At first I thought
- 55:49Speaker 1: he was being cute and wanted to come and get
- 55:50Speaker 1: a little nookie before I went to sleep. Then I
- 55:53Speaker 1: realized that this text wasn't for me. He stuck his
- 55:57Speaker 1: head in the bathroom and said he was running to
- 55:59Speaker 1: the liquor store. I said, be safe, and I got
- 56:02Speaker 1: dressed and rode through the hotel parking lot where the
- 56:05Speaker 1: woman was staying. I did not see his car, and
- 56:08Speaker 1: I called him three times, but he didn't answer. I
- 56:11Speaker 1: sat there thirty minutes and then he called. He said
- 56:15Speaker 1: he was home and asked where I was. I told
- 56:18Speaker 1: him what I was doing and he said, I'm insane.
- 56:21Speaker 1: He said the text was for me, but he had
- 56:24Speaker 1: to get to the liquor store before it closed. By
- 56:26Speaker 1: the time I got home, he had showered and then
- 56:29Speaker 1: he and he was in bed. Is he playing me?
- 56:32Speaker 1: Or did I play myself this time? Well? For sure
- 56:37Speaker 1: you played yourself this time, no doubt, because what you
- 56:41Speaker 1: went looking for it didn't go down the way you
- 56:43Speaker 1: thought it would, Meaning you didn't catch him with old girl.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Not saying that he wasn't with her, but you didn't
- 56:49Speaker 1: catch him that time. But please listen, listen, listen to
- 56:53Speaker 1: your intuition, because it is real. What you saw in
- 56:56Speaker 1: the kitchen. You saw it. Your eyes did not lie.
- 56:59Speaker 1: You saw it. Your husband lied about knowing her when
- 57:02Speaker 1: you came in, he left, you know, acting all suspicions
- 57:05Speaker 1: and everything, and she is staying in the hotel right
- 57:09Speaker 1: down the street from your house. All this stuff is very,
- 57:11Speaker 1: very very suspicious. So if you're trying to catch him,
- 57:15Speaker 1: just give him a minute, Okay, I think you will.
- 57:17Speaker 1: He'll slip up somewhere they always do, and you'll catch
- 57:21Speaker 1: him with his pants down. Now do we want this
- 57:24Speaker 1: for you, guys? Absolutely not. We don't want this. So
- 57:28Speaker 1: let your husband know that he's about to lose everything
- 57:31Speaker 1: if he steps out with her. Okay, he doesn't want
- 57:34Speaker 1: to do that. You're watching him. Tell him you're watching him,
- 57:40Speaker 1: so he better not do anything stupid. Once that trust
- 57:44Speaker 1: is broken, it's not impossible, but it is very hard, hard,
- 57:48Speaker 1: hard to get it back. Keep your eyes open, don't
- 57:51Speaker 1: doubt what you know, you see with your own two eyes,
- 57:55Speaker 1: and just you know, keep watching. But you gotta be
- 57:57Speaker 1: a little more clever than you were next time. All right,
- 58:02Speaker 1: come on the background, I'm blowing. I'm blowing. Listen, baby girl.
- 58:07Speaker 1: You're too impatient. You showed your hand too fast. Yeah,
- 58:10Speaker 1: that's what you did. You too impatient. If you would
- 58:13Speaker 1: have just once once you saw what happened in the kitchen,
- 58:16Speaker 1: just wait on it. That's all you had to do,
- 58:19Speaker 1: was wait once, he said, Once you realize she was
- 58:21Speaker 1: down the street at the hotel, you should know. Now
- 58:24Speaker 1: this ain't right. Wait on it. You're too impatient. You're
- 58:27Speaker 1: trying to blow the cover. While y'all was riding in
- 58:29Speaker 1: the car. What you told him. I saw you, I
- 58:31Speaker 1: saw you do this, do that. Quite talking. You're supposed
- 58:34Speaker 1: to be investigating right now, okay, you are detective right
- 58:37Speaker 1: now about your relationship. Ride it out. You're supposed to be.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait and wait and wait. Did they set
- 58:44Speaker 1: something up? You damn right they did. But guess what,
- 58:47Speaker 1: you blew the cover way too early. So guess what,
- 58:49Speaker 1: you'll never catch him now because he know you looking.
- 58:52Speaker 1: It's too late, baby girl, You'll never catch him because
- 58:55Speaker 1: he already knows. And big Booty Dog skinned down the
- 58:58Speaker 1: street at the hotel, she knows too, that you came
- 59:01Speaker 1: through the parking lot looking for Everybody knows, so everybody
- 59:05Speaker 1: gets aware. So when they do make it happen, trust me,
- 59:09Speaker 1: you're gonna be far away from them. They're gonna be
- 59:10Speaker 1: on the other side of town, out of town. It's
- 59:12Speaker 1: not you. You're not gonna ever get it now. It
- 59:15Speaker 1: won't happen. That's all that's all time. It never will
- 59:21Speaker 1: show Shane. Yes, First of all, we have determined the
- 59:27Speaker 1: ages of these people just by some of the words
- 59:29Speaker 1: in this letter. Tuck you in nookie and nukie and
- 59:35Speaker 1: run to the store. First of all, this player is
- 59:38Speaker 1: using old, old terminology to get out the house. I mean,
- 59:44Speaker 1: be a little more creative. I'm going to the store.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Come on, dude, I'm a Shane. Of the lines that
- 59:52Speaker 1: you trying to use to get to your side piece.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Be more clever. You forgot to do that thing said
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: say that. Oh my god, I've forgot that bang at
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: the office. It don't matter if you don't have an office,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: just say it. You ain't got you ain't got to say. Well,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you don't work in the office. That's why it's so important.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I got to get it. Yeah, I know I don't
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: work in the office. But I got that bang at
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the office going to the store. Oh, who does that? Dad?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Going to the store? Hey, yea hold that thought and
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: we'll let you finish up when we come back at
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Strawberry Letter for today,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the subject my husband texted the wrong woman. We'll get
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: String Show. All right, guys, we are back with part
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: two of the Strawberry Letter, the subject my husband texted
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the wrong woman. Uh, it's it's written from a woman
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: who a few days ago, she and her husband went
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: to her sister's baby showers. She saw her husband and
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the kitchen talking to a woman and putting his number
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: in her phone, so she wanted to find out more
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: about the woman. She walked up and introduced herself. The
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: woman told her she was an old friend and that
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: it was really good to be back in town. Turns
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: out she was staying at the hotel right down the
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: street from her house, and she knew her husband she
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: was an old friend. The woman asked her husband about it.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: The husband said he barely knew her, and he was
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: showing her a picture of her son, of their son,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: not he was putting her number in the phone. And
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: so the woman said, okay. She went home, got in
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: the bathtub, got a cocktail. Then she got a text
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: from her husband saying, I'll come tuck you in shortly.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Give me a moment, give me a minute. So at
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: first she thought, you know, her husband was being cute
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and everything, but then she realized he meant to text
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the girl down the street in the hotel. So she
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: got out the tub, got dressed, went to the hotel,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: drove around, didn't see her husband's car, didn't see the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: woman anything, nothing, she had nothing, You got Nate, right,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: And then she went home. So she wants to know.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: She went home, she didn't find anything, didn't find her
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: husband cheating. She went home, her husband was there, although
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: she did try to call her husband. Her husband was
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: there saying where have you been? I went to the
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: liquor store like I said, and uh, he was showered
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: in in the bed. So she wants to know is
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: her husband playing her or did she play herself? Jay,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: finish up your thoughts. We think you played herself. You
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: everybody needs a side piece, buddy. Now, once you have
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: a side piece, you have to have a side piece. Buddy.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: He is to call your wife or your girlfriend and say, hey,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I've been trying to reach such and so, where is he? Well?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: He right here. Then they call him and then you
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: have to yell us out, broke down, Where where are you? What? Exit? Okay? Sipping?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Hold on now let me write this down. I'm on
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: my way, dude, going to the stolen work. No, damn,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: all right, you have your side piece, buddy. Call your lady,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: says he's trying to call you said, well, he's right here.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Call him up. Yeah, broke down, Well hold on, I'll
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: be I'm on my way. I'm on my weight and
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: you out. You can't you go to the stone. No, damn,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: that's old. That's just you're disgusted. Jay. All right, come on,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: thank you, Jay, Come on, ju thank you, honor. Wait,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: hold on, junior, hold on. My husband texted the wrong
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: woman and the subject go ahead, Thank you, honor. I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: appreciate it. As a defense, I would like all the
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: evidence thrown out against my client. Uh due to lack
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: of evidence for the prosecution. Uh. This man is not guilty.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: He's not guilty. Not guilty. If the rose was were flipped,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: if the roles were reversed and a man did this,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: y'all will call him crazy driving around the parking lot
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: looking through the fall. The man did the text is
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: not the broke that he sent the text to the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: right person. You was the one in the top. Hey,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I would come in there and take you in a minute.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Everybody know Liga stove close at nine pint. Got for
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: thirty minutes to get there. Maybe tell you a Liga
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: star run. We can prove this. We've all made Lika
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: store runs the Liga Stone by fifteen minutes from the house. Okay,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: he going in now, he get what he wanted. He
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: come right back up fifteen minutes back. That is thirty minutes. Man,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: he is not missing. He can't and said where are you?
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Where are you? You were in the parking lot with
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: all folder looking for his car. Did you say no,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you know why the liquor store. That's why you didn't
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: see the car. My client is not guilty. To release
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: this man. This is now. You know what the problem was.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: He spent too It's time in the kitchen talking to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the woman. That's what preeped up in your mind. It's right, man,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Is it right? It isn't. No further questions, prest great defense.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You better get your Jack McCoy on right. There ain't
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: no evidence here. Did he know she was at the
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: time of when you went the time looking, you didn't
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: even see You didn't see it, and you drove around
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: looking for this car and didn't even see it at
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the hotel. You know why he can't find the car
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: in the hotel because it's at the Nigga stout. No
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: more question. When the ladies said you got played, you
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: got played. Yeah, when she played herself early time too
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: early time again. The man is a good man. Oh
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: now he's a good man. Oh now he's a man.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: What he said he won't do. He got home and
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: car and said where are you? You told I'm in
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: the park a lot. You crazy because you Oh, your
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: defense is insanity. Now she's insane. But has he been
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: tucking her? Has he been? She ended up taking a
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: buffle back with a cocktail. Wouldn't you talk to your wife? Friend?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: But Junior, he lied to her about knowing the girl.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: All of that. The girl woman, he says, an old friend.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: That's not a lie, that's a true state old friend.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: He said, he didn't hardly know. And this is a
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: picture of our son. You know when someone's showing a picture,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: and you know when someone's putting and I'm hurting the phone.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I like picture of our son. That was a quick

- 1:10:15Speaker 1: update right after this you're listening to. All right, come on,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Tommy introduced our girl. Oh she is here, the one
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: and only carl a foul get ready to get ready
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: to get ready with what reality update coming in hot?
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Thank you, Shirley, Thank you, nephew, little one on the end,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: never do hey, hey, let's get going. Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: All right, So, as you know, the ladies are on
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: a trip at Williamsburg, Virginia. They are staying at a
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: nice house. The crib is off the chain. But anyway,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: while eating, Gazelle told Wendy that we've been seeing more
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: of your body parts in the past month than I
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: have seen in the entire time that I've known you. Well, Giselle,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: what's the big deal Wendy? Is I hear living her
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: best life? She just got a boot job, a booty job,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: So let Wendy be great, let her do her theme.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Robin agreed with Giselle, and she said that, you know, Wendy,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: you've been dropping it like it's hot. So to speak.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: So Wendy says, you don't tell me, you don't define
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: my sexiness, because you know, Wendy is a professor, She
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: has multiple degrees. You know, she told us that last
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: season over and over and over. We know she got
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: a lot of degrees. Yeah, and she is on TV.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: She's a political commentator. So they're saying, you know, with
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: what you do for a living, you can't just be
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: having all of this out like that. But she said, hey,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: you don't define my sexiness. I'll do what I want
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: to do, Okay, get your money's worth time up right
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: right or your boobs exactly? So moving on, I like
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Robin's new friend Ascala or a Skyla. I don't know
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: if I'm pronouncing it right, but I like when she
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: came to Gizelle and said, so, what's up with you
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: and your man? What's all these rumors about what you
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: and you're a man? And then Gizelle said that she
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: didn't want to discuss it in front of the group
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: and she wants to talk about it privately. So I
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: kind of agree with Karen Gizelle. You be coming for people,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: you be all in their stuff, but then when somebody
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: wants to talk to you about your stuff. You try
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to shut it down all the time, so you need
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: to check yourself on that. So that is Real Housewives
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: of Potonac Moving on, Real Housewives of Dallas is canceled
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: for good na yeah yeah nah, come on, Junior, Na no.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: And I put a pole on my social media page
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: at lips by Carlo on Instagram and ask everyone, Real
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Housewives of Dallas is canceled. Do you care or at all?
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: And the pole one hundred percent of the people said
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: they do not care at all. So there you go.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Love and Huntsville Love and Marriage Huntsville, nephew told me
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: was on the show last week. Last week, Tommy, I
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: talked about this last week, but you were out. You
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and your beautiful, your lovely wife Jackie y'all were on
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: the episode with Titia and Mark. So they launched their
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: champagne chocolate champagne line and you were giving them advice
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: on how to make it pop in Houston at the
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Cigar Lounge and all that. So tell us a little
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: bit more behind the scenes with that, nephew. It was,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you know what, they were a fun couple to hang
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: out with. They were real cool, laid back, their champagne
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: is amazing, so you gotta trall my god. Yeah, it's
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: real sexy there. Their cigar bar in Huntsville is class
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: state of the art. I already said, we gotta fly
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: down there. I gotta go hang out because it's the
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: bamb You actually have a you actually have a jacket
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: when you become a member of this, when you become
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: a med of the Cigar Club, you got a jacket
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: when you come up. And I was like, Okay, now
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: that's how you do it, right, that's cool. That's cool.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: That's cool. So yeah, you like this. So what about
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: the Houston location and all of that, because yeah, because
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: you know, we were all over Houston. That's my spot,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: you know, five Central, that cigar bar, so you know
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: they enjoyed it. We hung out all I mean about
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: one thought two o'clock in the morning by the time
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: we love you know, when you get that age that
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: we are late, that's that's late. That's late. That's late.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: What's the next day? That's not? I love it, jack, Well,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: that is reality update before we run out of time.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: We are waiting on the new season of Ready to Love. Nephew.

- 1:18:30Speaker 1: And and this is very different from free Brittany. Okay
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: please now totally different. Totally different. Yeah, totally different. Yeah.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Now he needs to say, yeah, he needs to stay in,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: he needs to be rehabilitated. You should never get out.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: And if he's acquitted of these charges, then there is
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: still you know, he has more charges right in Minnesota,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: and he has more charges in Illinois. So this is
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: a long road and hopefully there will be carelessly a
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: little what timmy shake, I mean, that's the best joke
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I heard. And the joke was if you believe you
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: you can fly. Now's the time now, and that was
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: a song This is real life was disgusting. But I
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: mean for for his lawyers to say that, uh, these
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: were consenting relationships, that's what you're going with. That's your defense.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: And I don't see how that's going to be the
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: defense for all of the victims, those that were, you know,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: under age. You see that at the time of the
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: alleged assault, So you know, not an expert at this
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: at all, None of us are, for sure. Yeah, all right,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: coming up a there's our last break of the day anymore.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Thank you, Jay. Also at forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: we'll close out the show. Coming up right after this.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: here we are a last break of the day, last
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: break of the day. When I saw this, you guys
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: got to hear about this story? Did you hear about
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: this story? I should say? North Carolina lawmakers unanimously voted
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: to raise the legal age of marriage in the state
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: now from fourteen. It was fourteen. They have raised it
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: now to sixteen. Oh wow. Still still what in the world?
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: And now this takes a step to further restrict child marriage,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: but stopping short of outlawing it right right, yes, steps
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: into the twenty first century. North Carolina, what is happening?
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Who these meetings? Who in these meetings? Who is these
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: And I bet you they had a lot of kids
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: coming to that state married. Yeah, before they changed the yea,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: before they changed now the bill, my daughter would I wish? Yeah.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Bill Hicks, comedian has a funny joke about marriage in
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: North Carolina. He said, you're gonna meet somebody in North
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Carolina and they said, want you to meet my wife
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: and my cousin. And it's one person standing there that
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: just really makes a difference, Like this is a new threat. Jay, Okay, fine,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I can't get married as a freshman. Wait till I'm
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: a junior. I'm getting married. This is crazy. Yeah, it
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: really is nothing. You're from South Carolina. We're not that bad.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: We just have the Blue Law, and there's certain parts
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: of South Calina they're still in forced the Blue Law
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: where you're not allowed to buy certain things on Sunday.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: But anything in the South. But you can't be surprised
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: if any of the rules that come out of the South. Nothing.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: You just can't. You're not getting the shot. They're not
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: getting the shot. So you know it's right up there
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: with yeah, all right, Well, the bill will now be
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: sent to North Carolina Democratic Governor Roy Cooper to sign. Well,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: sign it immediately. Boy, let's start working on eighteen. Okay,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: how about that. Ain't no debate on this, right? Yeah,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: right away? All right. In some other crazy news, I mean,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: just crazy news, a Utah animal trainer is recovering after
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: the alligator she was feeding during her girl's birthday party chomped.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I saw it too, chomp down on her hand and
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: refused to let go until after one of the adult
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: guests jumped on his back to help her. Now, I
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: watched this seventeen times. What's the surprise? Yeah, it ain't none,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: but the funny party of the kids wanted to stay
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: and watch this, and and the teacher was making them
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: leaving one little boy and like, why would that leave this?
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: A little get your hand off me, man, A little
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: boy had me had little boy. This is the best
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: show and tell I've ever seen? Are you kidding? I
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: don't want to leave? Yeah, classroom, we all saw on
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: social media, Lindsay Bull thirty one said that she's fed
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Darth gator hundreds of times in the past. Uh. He's
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: eight feet six inches and he was being a little
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: pushy on Saturday when she opened a plexiglass door to
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: his enclosure. At first she thought the alligator would do
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: a quick bite and release. What he was crazy. We
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: don't know anything about wild animals. I know, I don't.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: But they're all waiting for that one chance. That's all
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: they waiting on, is that one chance. And can't bite
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: your ass and that's it. Get Quit acting like you
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: and like you know, the gator like that, like your friend.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: He wouldn't himself today. Quit that gat the thing. You're right,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: he's doing what gators do. Right. Let me tell you
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: right now, Jake. Obviously he tied of that raw chicken.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: You get raw chicken eighty five days in a row,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: and then what's where you're coming here today with a
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: piece of raw chick? Watch what I can I bet
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: you I won't. I won't act like you want with
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: you today. He's actually getting too big. It's time to
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: let him go. Put him in a while, let him
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: go big, don't let him go. I'm telling you about shoes.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: He's he's he's a couple of shoes. Let him now,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: once you start biting you shoes and a bag and
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: a bag bag like hat. I want you to get
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: that vest from doc gator. Yeah, one pair of shoes.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: That should be the rule. Yeah, one bite and you
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: a pair of shoe and the the gate that should know that,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: since yell on good terms, he should know that, right right,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: you shouldn't know he got one strike. One strike, I
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: mean tomorrow. Yeah, she's okay, and she still has her arm.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: You ain't You ain't gotta do number nip a black person,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: just us. Oh, it's a wrap. This is what the

- 1:25:32Speaker 1: if my dog bite me, it got go see you later, alligator.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: That's where that term came from. Yeah, it's got to
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: go on like me, I want him out of here today.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: And then I was reading too surely that she said
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: when she was standing there, if the guy had, you know,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: come in and got on top of the alligator, she
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: could have lost her arm, her whole He would have
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: snashed her whole arm. Bitter harm off because she was
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: standing so she she had to get on top of him. Too.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: She did roll yeah to the guy who was just
