- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Boil Boil boy. I can't even
- 2:16Speaker 1: tell you man, um. I've been doing some thinking and
- 2:22Speaker 1: you know, just coming off vacation, I was really had
- 2:26Speaker 1: some time to sit out and and you know, just
- 2:29Speaker 1: recharge myself and and just think about a lot of things,
- 2:33Speaker 1: and and and really spend some time with my wife
- 2:36Speaker 1: and her and I, you know, just recommitted ourselves and
- 2:42Speaker 1: and and just went over a lot of things. Just
- 2:44Speaker 1: had a lot of long talks. Uh, you know, communication
- 2:48Speaker 1: is the key, you know. And I'm a guy and
- 2:51Speaker 1: I suffer with that as to do a lot of guys.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I think a lot of women, uh say that they
- 2:56Speaker 1: have a communication problem with their men. I'm no different.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You know. I can write a book all day, but
- 3:03Speaker 1: I still I am a man. I'm wired a certain way.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's not making excuses, it's just it's certain things that
- 3:11Speaker 1: we have to pay attention to, especially when it comes
- 3:13Speaker 1: to women, because of the way we're wired. And we
- 3:16Speaker 1: were just sitting out there talking and having some conversations,
- 3:20Speaker 1: and one of the things that I wanted to mention
- 3:23Speaker 1: today to you as one of the principles of success
- 3:28Speaker 1: being grateful at all times. It's difficult to do. Being
- 3:36Speaker 1: grateful at all times. It's very difficult to do. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: I find that to be true with myself. Now there
- 3:46Speaker 1: are others that might be able to do it, but
- 3:48Speaker 1: just just from talking and listening and and and and
- 3:51Speaker 1: living and learning, being grateful at all times is difficult
- 3:56Speaker 1: to do. But it's necessary be cause it's it's it's
- 4:01Speaker 1: such an act of faith in knowing that no matter
- 4:05Speaker 1: what's going on, it's going to be all right. And
- 4:09Speaker 1: it's hard to see that when things are not going
- 4:14Speaker 1: in your favor, when things have turned so dramatically the
- 4:19Speaker 1: other way, and it seems as though you're the only
- 4:22Speaker 1: one in the situation where you're involved with other people,
- 4:26Speaker 1: or someone got an accusation against you falsely, or somebody
- 4:30Speaker 1: trying to do something to you unjustifiably, whatever the case
- 4:33Speaker 1: may be, when it's happening to you, it does appear
- 4:38Speaker 1: to you that, oh, my goodness, man, this is horribly
- 4:43Speaker 1: one sided. So it is difficult. It's hard to do
- 4:48Speaker 1: to be grateful at all times, but it's so necessary,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and I just I just want to point out a
- 4:54Speaker 1: couple of things to you. First of all, the difficulty
- 4:59Speaker 1: in being grateful in the hard times is that number one,
- 5:04Speaker 1: the present circumstances. Oftentimes it's just so pressing and so
- 5:09Speaker 1: overwhelming that a lot of your energy is devoted to
- 5:13Speaker 1: trying to come up with the solution for that, or
- 5:16Speaker 1: trying to muster the strength to whether the storm, or
- 5:20Speaker 1: trying to just brace yourself to try to get through it,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and in doing that, you don't It's hard to be grateful.
- 5:28Speaker 1: It's hard to be grateful in pain, and I know
- 5:32Speaker 1: it is, but but here is the trick for me.
- 5:36Speaker 1: This is what I've had to learn how to do,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and I I guess it takes practice to get here.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's not nothing you can just start doing right away.
- 5:45Speaker 1: You gotta practice it in small increments to really get it.
- 5:49Speaker 1: What I've always had to say to myself and what
- 5:51Speaker 1: I've learned to say to myself is this is happening
- 5:56Speaker 1: to me because God is working me through something. This
- 6:01Speaker 1: is happening to me because there's some form of tests
- 6:04Speaker 1: that I have to pass in order to graduate to
- 6:07Speaker 1: the next grade, and that in order to be allowed
- 6:10Speaker 1: to move to the next level. This is happening to
- 6:14Speaker 1: me because there's something I need to purge my life,
- 6:19Speaker 1: of my body, of my spirit, of something's purging in me.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And when you purge something, it's it's painful. You know,
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's like a person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I've been told and every documentary I've ever watched it
- 6:37Speaker 1: it's an agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw,
- 6:42Speaker 1: to pull away after you've been doing something so long.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And so I know that this process is tough when
- 6:52Speaker 1: you're going through some pain, But when you're purging your system,
- 6:57Speaker 1: when you're when you're when you're having to pass sugtests,
- 7:00Speaker 1: when you're about to make when when you're being made
- 7:04Speaker 1: ready for the next level. That moment right in there,
- 7:09Speaker 1: in realizing that that's what's happening, that's where you find
- 7:12Speaker 1: the gratitude. That's where I found the gratitude. I hope
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm explaining this correctly. I'm gonna keep trying until I
- 7:19Speaker 1: get it. But that's where you find the gratitude. The
- 7:24Speaker 1: second part of it is is that God has never
- 7:29Speaker 1: left me and all the things I've done, in all
- 7:33Speaker 1: the mistakes I've made, all the lies I've told, all
- 7:38Speaker 1: the situations I've gotten myself into from being greedy and
- 7:42Speaker 1: wanting too much for me at the expense sometimes of
- 7:49Speaker 1: other people, not doing it deliberately or in a vindictive way,
- 7:56Speaker 1: because I've never had that spirit. I'm not a vindictive
- 8:00Speaker 1: or mean person, but sometimes in my life, in wanting
- 8:05Speaker 1: to do what I wanted to do, I didn't totally
- 8:08Speaker 1: weigh out the cause and effect of the other person.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I mean, can't just be real with you with that.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I mean, how many times we hadn't all done that? Look,
- 8:17Speaker 1: that doesn't don't make you a bad person. You know,
- 8:21Speaker 1: good people do bad things all the time. I just
- 8:24Speaker 1: happened to have come to the realization that unknowingly and
- 8:29Speaker 1: and and not and not with malice intent towards a person.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I've I've heard people looking at something I wanted to
- 8:40Speaker 1: do without really looking at what the cause and effect
- 8:45Speaker 1: would be on the other person. So in doing some
- 8:48Speaker 1: of these things, I've created situations for myself. But God,
- 8:52Speaker 1: through his grace and mercy, has allowed me to even
- 8:56Speaker 1: get beyond that. So what I'm saying that God has
- 9:00Speaker 1: never left me in spite of myself. He's always gotten
- 9:03Speaker 1: me through. So that's the other part of it. To
- 9:07Speaker 1: see that no matter what you're going through, you've got
- 9:10Speaker 1: to understand that God has always gotten you through it, now,
- 9:13Speaker 1: hasn't it. Now that may not be the way you
- 9:15Speaker 1: wanted or the way you liked, But guess what, you
- 9:19Speaker 1: can't do wrong and not pay for that. Now that
- 9:21Speaker 1: that's not how this works. That's never going to be
- 9:24Speaker 1: the case. But the great thing about God is he
- 9:27Speaker 1: fires warning shots at us all the time. He gives
- 9:29Speaker 1: us an opportunity to stop. You know, he don't fully
- 9:33Speaker 1: punish us right away every time we do something wrong. Now,
- 9:36Speaker 1: does it. You know eventually you're going to get caught
- 9:40Speaker 1: doing whatever it is you're doing. You do understand that,
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't you. But the first time, that close call, that
- 9:47Speaker 1: was a warning shot for you to stop. Look, I
- 9:49Speaker 1: know you're not perfect. I know we all sent us
- 9:52Speaker 1: down here, so I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I know you was looking at her when you wasn't
- 9:56Speaker 1: supposed to. I know you said something to him when
- 9:59Speaker 1: you wasn't supposed those too. I know you got with
- 10:01Speaker 1: her when you know you wasn't supposed to. And I
- 10:04Speaker 1: know you got with him when you know you wasn't
- 10:06Speaker 1: supposed to. So I'll tell you what I'm gonna do.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna fire warning shot and maybe you'll slow your
- 10:10Speaker 1: roll this time. But we keep on, don't see, See
- 10:14Speaker 1: See that's what happens. See, we just keep on and
- 10:17Speaker 1: then the next thing, you know, we get caught. Now,
- 10:20Speaker 1: old Lord, have mercy, I won't out of this. Yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Well see you didn't dug this hole pretty deep, and
- 10:26Speaker 1: he gonna get you out. But there's some things that's
- 10:28Speaker 1: got to go down now because you didn't pay attention
- 10:31Speaker 1: to the warning shot. See, had you stopped the first
- 10:33Speaker 1: time you felt bad about it and said you wasn't
- 10:36Speaker 1: gonna do it no more, the situation wouldn't be as critical.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But because we don't stop, and we go again. But
- 10:42Speaker 1: God always for gils. He always allows us to get
- 10:48Speaker 1: back up again. He always gives us a mercy. He
- 10:52Speaker 1: always gives us his grace. He always does that. You're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to. Welcome to the ride. We are here. It's
- 11:04Speaker 1: Steve harping morning. Shall we hold it down? It's the

- 15:54Speaker 1: opening up a shop of salon with a restaurant next
- 15:58Speaker 1: next to Yeah, black Marre. Yeah, alright, okay, let me
- 16:03Speaker 1: get to this story before we run out of time. Okay,
- 16:05Speaker 1: there is a new trend that has people throwing away
- 16:09Speaker 1: toilet paper. You don't need that anymore. Uh, don't even
- 16:14Speaker 1: think about it. There's for something called a family cloth.
- 16:19Speaker 1: What's that it's basically reusable. Keyword in this reusable small
- 16:26Speaker 1: cloth squares if people used to wipe and then they
- 16:30Speaker 1: put in a basket, then they put in a basket.
- 16:33Speaker 1: There's such a big trend. There are a lot of
- 16:36Speaker 1: different options on the market. Wait, wait, wait, wait wait,
- 16:39Speaker 1: So so if I come to your house, I'm going
- 16:43Speaker 1: to use your clothes. Okay, A lot of things wrong
- 16:49Speaker 1: with that question you just asked me. First of all,
- 16:51Speaker 1: it's wiping. Okay, no, not to my house, No, No, okay, here,
- 17:00Speaker 1: let me finish. This is really a big trend. Now.
- 17:02Speaker 1: There are a lot of different options on the market.
- 17:04Speaker 1: They come in a wide variety of patterns. Toilet paper
- 17:07Speaker 1: make a difference. A toilet paper is one of those
- 17:12Speaker 1: papers that staples that people rarely leave the grocery store without.
- 17:17Speaker 1: But it seems that more and more people are turning
- 17:19Speaker 1: away from the standard toilet paper now and there they
- 17:22Speaker 1: use these family cloths because their environmental we're safe. What
- 17:26Speaker 1: these people from what I listen, this is a new trend.
- 17:31Speaker 1: You're going to be hearing about this. Let us be
- 17:33Speaker 1: the first to tell you about this. So nicky I am,
- 17:42Speaker 1: especially about bathroom stuff. No, for what happen when you
- 17:45Speaker 1: get in in suley. You don't forgot your cloth? It's
- 17:48Speaker 1: in the basket, didn't you just hear me say they
- 17:52Speaker 1: throw it away and they put it in the basket,
- 17:55Speaker 1: they use it and then they put it in the
- 17:59Speaker 1: over and yeah, the family it's called a family cloth.
- 18:02Speaker 1: So we lost Tobody his house and he's got initials
- 18:05Speaker 1: on the towels. Don't use don't you got a grand
- 18:09Speaker 1: You know you're not supposed to use those good towels.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Not that's what you're talking about it when it says
- 18:17Speaker 1: his and her, why do you keep looking at I
- 18:22Speaker 1: didn't make these? Okay, let me store I just brought you.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I'm just the messenger here, guys, but I can't help
- 18:28Speaker 1: but think you got these class man. I would like
- 18:31Speaker 1: to be in the house when you hear somebody to say,
- 18:33Speaker 1: who did you use your mama quill? You didn't use
- 18:37Speaker 1: the coda grandmama. Well, miss wild little Wallace can't use
- 18:41Speaker 1: a cloth, he don't need a bed spread. Okay. Some
- 18:46Speaker 1: people just only use the cloths for number one, that's it, okay,
- 18:51Speaker 1: but number then they go back to the TP for number.
- 18:57Speaker 1: You called a t P. You got it, you got
- 18:59Speaker 1: you call it that. It's tole. Yeah, I'm trying. People
- 19:04Speaker 1: are Indians. You're throwing me all Native American Native Americans.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I don't know the correct Well you should
- 19:14Speaker 1: by now, okay. But when you love somebody's house and
- 19:16Speaker 1: you see a sham wow in there, you just go wow.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Normally doctor yeah, but but yeah, some people just use
- 19:27Speaker 1: them for that, but other people use them for everything.
- 19:30Speaker 1: The microfiber, well, let's see, they're they're just cloth, some cloth.
- 19:36Speaker 1: And what color they come in you don't want? Do
- 19:42Speaker 1: you want white? You don't want that's gold color? Jaw?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Do you know when the clean though, you tip of that?
- 19:57Speaker 1: What if you didn't put your clothes in the bath? Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 1: you gotta look, you just set us on the counter.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Somebody got to watch their face at the ball. This
- 20:06Speaker 1: is just the reason now you have to go around
- 20:08Speaker 1: with bigger purses, carl Us, because you got to carry
- 20:12Speaker 1: your own toilet paper. No toilet paper, because if you
- 20:15Speaker 1: go to someone's house and they just have a close
- 20:18Speaker 1: your own TP yeah yeah you have to. Yeah, we
- 20:24Speaker 1: wipe when you travel and you go through t s A.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You need to let them know. Now, if I forget
- 20:34Speaker 1: my clothes, do I get do I borrow a cloth
- 20:36Speaker 1: from you? It's a family cloths, ain't en. Yeah, we're
- 20:40Speaker 1: not in the same family. I mean we're in this family.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Your family yeah yeah, yeah, in the same house. Yeah yeah.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I wouldn't suggest or advise, so I'm yeah, So where
- 20:54Speaker 1: you go your uncle ki when you get through wiper
- 20:58Speaker 1: and I don't want that cloth, You understand what I'm saying, Yes,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and don't get it mixed up with the dish cloth
- 21:07Speaker 1: whatever youth. You see how us in there washing dishes,
- 21:21Speaker 1: went to the bathroom real quick. Left that cloth and
- 21:23Speaker 1: that chicken salt taste difference. You got to you gotta
- 21:32Speaker 1: make sure you lock that dough. I'm sorry. If you're
- 21:34Speaker 1: eating breakfast right now, I hope you start. Does a
- 21:36Speaker 1: chicken taste like chicken? Why? Oh my god? Yeah, this
- 21:43Speaker 1: is nasty all right? Look coming up next, it's the

- 30:07Speaker 1: is one is for you. You're welcome. Okay, you're welcome.
- 30:11Speaker 1: There is a silver lining to being cheated on, ladies. Oh,
- 30:16Speaker 1: look at all the guys Facebook you get when you
- 30:24Speaker 1: find out our nation, our national news with Miss Anna's
- 30:29Speaker 1: coming up next, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Show.
- 30:35Speaker 1: All right. Before I start the story, just to the ladies,
- 30:38Speaker 1: you're welcome. I just want to say that you're welcome. Ladies.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Uh So, here we go. Even if you have no
- 30:43Speaker 1: personal experience with cheating ladies, you still understand that it
- 30:47Speaker 1: can be a soul crushing experience to have your partner
- 30:51Speaker 1: be unfaithful to you. Nobody wants that. But but as
- 30:54Speaker 1: terrible as it is to be cheated on, and I
- 30:57Speaker 1: think we can all agree everyone in this room has
- 30:59Speaker 1: been cheating it on at some point. Yeah, okay, I
- 31:01Speaker 1: don't I don't want it. Okay, but it's terrible as
- 31:05Speaker 1: it is to be cheated on. New research shows that
- 31:08Speaker 1: there can actually be an upside to it, okay. According
- 31:14Speaker 1: to a survey of five thousand, seven hundred and five
- 31:18Speaker 1: people from nineties six different countries, women who go through
- 31:22Speaker 1: a breakup because of infidelity end up feeling more self
- 31:26Speaker 1: confident and they developed higher emotional intelligence after six months
- 31:31Speaker 1: to a year. I love it. I have helped a
- 31:34Speaker 1: lot of people, man, I have really moved this country along.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Researchers explained that the woman who loses her mate to
- 31:44Speaker 1: another woman will go through a period of post relationship
- 31:47Speaker 1: grief and betrayal. I think that's true. We all go
- 31:49Speaker 1: through that, the sad part when we're crying and we're
- 31:51Speaker 1: heard and everything. But that experience will help her find
- 31:55Speaker 1: a better mate in the future. So this is yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 1: this pal Uh does that include call a key and
- 32:03Speaker 1: cause and what I'm just saying, is that part of
- 32:10Speaker 1: the grief and betrayal. There's no proof, there's no halts.
- 32:13Speaker 1: That's right. And then after the whole o J interview
- 32:21Speaker 1: with hypothetically allegedly in air quote, So I gotta ask
- 32:28Speaker 1: you guys. Have you We'll go around the room. If
- 32:31Speaker 1: you guys haven't cheated on? Yes and yes? Are you
- 32:33Speaker 1: a better person because of it? Jake? Am I yes,
- 32:37Speaker 1: yes and yes. I've cheated and I've been cheated on.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yes so much answers yes and yes. So you're a
- 32:44Speaker 1: better person because you've been cheated on. I'm here on
- 32:48Speaker 1: the what on the what? Yeah? What about to do
- 32:54Speaker 1: with it? I know nothing? What about you, junior? Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 1: I'm a better person if you just take out the
- 32:59Speaker 1: part when I was yellous. Let his hand go, let
- 33:03Speaker 1: his hand out. Oh you caught them. Let but look
- 33:09Speaker 1: at you now call him it's not wait you walked
- 33:14Speaker 1: in on it? No? No, no, um, I did good? Good?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Mine was mine was I was working at a club
- 33:22Speaker 1: and I brought my friend to the club. This is
- 33:24Speaker 1: my girl, So I knew she was like messed around
- 33:27Speaker 1: with this other guy. You knew it. I knew it.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Don't she know? You knew it. I don't think they
- 33:32Speaker 1: know anyway. I don't never know any guys never. I
- 33:36Speaker 1: go out to the car and then first of all,
- 33:38Speaker 1: my cars. They're sitting in my car and it's steamed
- 33:42Speaker 1: up in my car, had some nerve ner my car
- 33:56Speaker 1: was steamed up. I'm like, oh, lord man, so they
- 34:00Speaker 1: were sitting in my car and it was steamed up.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I mean, did you not set it fire? Around? Now?
- 34:05Speaker 1: What kind of car wasn't? I forgot none? But I
- 34:07Speaker 1: had to go back and do a comedy show. Oh
- 34:10Speaker 1: you had a lot of material. Guess what I just saw.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Show you our final thirty seconds and nephew, I know
- 34:23Speaker 1: I have what happened. I have been cheated on. It
- 34:26Speaker 1: has made me a better Cheatah, you understand, because sometimes
- 34:31Speaker 1: be a cheating a better person, well, a better person
- 34:33Speaker 1: to know how to cheat now, because now it's all
- 34:36Speaker 1: Once I'm cheated on, that's who was next a cheating contact?
- 34:41Speaker 1: Once I walked in and saw you making cockle doodle sound,
- 34:45Speaker 1: you don't do that with me? Yes? All right? Missing
- 34:48Speaker 1: it's here, missing out of here with our headlines for today.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Good morning, miss Anne. Sorry about all that you've been saying.
- 34:57Speaker 1: You've been cheated. Yes, there's been another shakeup in the
- 35:01Speaker 1: Trump administration, one which many people said they felt was coming,
- 35:04Speaker 1: but were nevertheless surprised by what it did. President alstad
- 35:08Speaker 1: Rex Tilson yesterday his Secretary State by tweet, of course,
- 35:11Speaker 1: and spoke to the process he prepared to board Air
- 35:13Speaker 1: Force One. We were not really thinking the same with Mike.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Mike Pompeio. We have a very similar thought process. I
- 35:22Speaker 1: think it's gonna go very well. Rex is a very
- 35:24Speaker 1: good man. I like Rex a lot. I really appreciate
- 35:28Speaker 1: his commitment and this service, and I'll be speaking direct
- 35:32Speaker 1: over a long period of time. Later on, without mentioning
- 35:34Speaker 1: the President's name, Tillison said it had been a pleasure
- 35:37Speaker 1: to serve his country along with his colleagues in the
- 35:39Speaker 1: State Department. Take the same oath of office, whether your
- 35:42Speaker 1: career employee or political pointee, we are all bound by
- 35:47Speaker 1: that common commitment to support and defend the Constitution, to
- 35:51Speaker 1: bear true faith and allegiance to the same that you
- 35:54Speaker 1: faithfully discharge the duties of our office. Tilson's last day
- 35:57Speaker 1: in office is going to be March thirty one. By
- 35:59Speaker 1: the way, Under Secretary of State, said Steve Goldstein, lost
- 36:02Speaker 1: his job to yesterday because he released a statement saying
- 36:05Speaker 1: that Tillson was unaware of the reason for his ouster
- 36:07Speaker 1: and that Tilson had every intention of staying. He got
- 36:10Speaker 1: fired for that. Now the President has nominated his CIA director,
- 36:13Speaker 1: mom Mike Pompeo, to take Tilson's job. Pompeo known to
- 36:17Speaker 1: be much more of a hawk, and he's a Tea
- 36:18Speaker 1: Party Republican. Meanwhile, the President paid a visit to California
- 36:22Speaker 1: yesterday for the first time since he was elected. He
- 36:24Speaker 1: made a stop at San Diego to check out eight
- 36:26Speaker 1: prototypes of border walls. Lawmakers from both sides of the
- 36:30Speaker 1: aisle awaiting the final talent from yesterday's special election in
- 36:33Speaker 1: a southwestern Pennsylvania a Republican Rick Satcone against moderate Democrat
- 36:37Speaker 1: Connor Lamb. Lamb is claiming victory this morning with about
- 36:40Speaker 1: a six vote lead. However, there are still some absentee
- 36:43Speaker 1: votes to count. Animal lovers on social media calling for
- 36:46Speaker 1: a boycott of United Airlines because the steward has put
- 36:49Speaker 1: a ten month old dog in the airtight overhead been
- 36:52Speaker 1: and when the plane arrived the puppy was dead. High
- 36:55Speaker 1: school students were around the country expected to engage in
- 36:58Speaker 1: some kind of protests at ten o'clock this morning over
- 37:00Speaker 1: the shooting of those seventeen students in Florida and the
- 37:03Speaker 1: lack of tough gun laws. Some students are walking out
- 37:05Speaker 1: of class for seventeen minutes, others seventeen moments of silent
- 37:08Speaker 1: stuff like that. And today finally is National Potato Chip Day.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Just can't eat one. I could go for some chips
- 37:16Speaker 1: with some eggs. Okay, feel back with more entertainment. Today's
- 37:19Speaker 1: rending topics. Twenty minutes after the hour Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:22Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Uh,
- 37:27Speaker 1: the hip hop world, all things hip hop. Let's go
- 37:30Speaker 1: to carl and find out what's going on. Carla. This
- 37:32Speaker 1: is some sad news. Huh. Yeah, yesterday really uh found
- 37:36Speaker 1: out and everybody was shocked that rapper Craig mac passed away.
- 37:41Speaker 1: He was hailed as part of starting the foundation of
- 37:45Speaker 1: bad Boy. You know he died. He was forty six
- 37:48Speaker 1: years old. That's yeah, very young, James, Uh, due to
- 37:52Speaker 1: heart failure and Craig Craig Mac. He rose to fame
- 37:57Speaker 1: in the nineties with the platinum summer hit Labor in yeah, yeah,
- 38:03Speaker 1: that was you got the brand new flavor in your ear.
- 38:06Speaker 1: One thing about it. They're like in college, the party
- 38:09Speaker 1: didn't really get hype till you heard flavor. That's it.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. It was summer, and I think that's
- 38:18Speaker 1: when everybody, you know, we kind of started learning about
- 38:21Speaker 1: bad boy entertainment, you know, and and and the record
- 38:23Speaker 1: label and Puffy and Craig Mac and Biggie and Faith
- 38:27Speaker 1: Evans and you know, all of this movement bad boy.
- 38:31Speaker 1: But I think hip hop fans can't agree that Craig
- 38:35Speaker 1: Mac didn't get that fame like Biggie Cat. I didn't know, No,
- 38:39Speaker 1: he didn't. But he was good. I mean, he was
- 38:41Speaker 1: very good, but he just didn't get the fame the
- 38:44Speaker 1: biggie guy. But did. He did declare both Biggie Smalls
- 38:48Speaker 1: and Craig Mac the foundation of bad boy entertainment. And
- 38:51Speaker 1: that's true, that is so true. So our thoughts and
- 38:53Speaker 1: prayers are with Craig Mac, his friends and family and
- 38:57Speaker 1: his wife and his children. Uh, he'll be so rest
- 39:00Speaker 1: in peace, Crack Mac. That's that's really sad, it really
- 39:04Speaker 1: really is. Yeah. So the party didn't get started. It
- 39:07Speaker 1: didn't get started til you heard that song right there? All?
- 39:11Speaker 1: What was what was the dance back about? There's ninety
- 39:17Speaker 1: but I was caught ninety six. This is just you know,
- 39:19Speaker 1: we just right here. The baby don't prove you ain't
- 39:21Speaker 1: a university. You could not wait baby dog parties. It
- 39:25Speaker 1: was real. Yeah, man, I'm missing the homecoming mann'd yeah. Women,
- 39:37Speaker 1: And I will say this though, you know, for turnity,
- 39:39Speaker 1: you know, y'all, y'all stroke, y'all will take up the
- 39:41Speaker 1: whole baby dollar and you're gonna get out the wait,
- 39:43Speaker 1: what's the baby on the campus. It's it's where the
- 39:46Speaker 1: basketball team played. But they though parties in there. That's
- 39:48Speaker 1: what we have part We didn't have a separate facility
- 39:51Speaker 1: at this HBCU. The basketball game was over right there,
- 39:57Speaker 1: and you called it the baby called the baby. The
- 39:59Speaker 1: baby done what same? But everything happens in everything happens
- 40:03Speaker 1: in the graduation lune all all school information registration. Sometimes
- 40:16Speaker 1: it's good to have everything. And one the basketball team
- 40:21Speaker 1: was upset. Scuff marks on the bold. Alright, coming up
- 40:27Speaker 1: in thirty four after the hour, the White House is
- 40:29Speaker 1: giving the Secretary of Education Betsy de Vos the coal shoulder.
- 40:35Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Uh,
- 40:39Speaker 1: the hip hop world, all things hip hop. Let's go
- 40:42Speaker 1: to Carl and find out what's going on. Carla, this
- 40:44Speaker 1: is some sad news. Huh. Yeah, yesterday really uh found
- 40:49Speaker 1: out and everybody was shocked that rapper Craig Mac passed away.
- 40:54Speaker 1: He was hailed as part of starting the foundation of
- 40:57Speaker 1: bad Boy. You know, he died. He was forty six
- 41:00Speaker 1: years old. Yeah, very young, James, Uh, due to heart failure.
- 41:06Speaker 1: And Craig Craig Mac. He rose to fame in the
- 41:09Speaker 1: nineties with the platinum summer hit labor in Ye. Yeah,
- 41:15Speaker 1: that was you got to pray a new flavor in
- 41:18Speaker 1: your one thing about it. They're like in college, the
- 41:21Speaker 1: party didn't really get hype till you heard flavor. That's it,
- 41:25Speaker 1: that's it. Oh my gosh. It was summer, and I
- 41:30Speaker 1: think that's when everybody, you know, we kind of started
- 41:32Speaker 1: learning about bad boy entertainment, you know, and and and
- 41:35Speaker 1: the record label and Puffy and Craig Mac and Biggie
- 41:39Speaker 1: and Faith Evans and you know, all of this movement
- 41:43Speaker 1: bad boy. But I think hip hop fans can't agree
- 41:46Speaker 1: that Craig Mac didn't get that fame like Biggie hat
- 41:50Speaker 1: didn't know, No, he didn't. But he was good. I
- 41:53Speaker 1: mean he was very good, but he just didn't get
- 41:55Speaker 1: the fame the biggie guy. But did he did declare
- 41:59Speaker 1: both Biggie small Saint Craig Mac the foundation of bad
- 42:02Speaker 1: boy entertainment. And that's true, that is so true. So
- 42:05Speaker 1: our thoughts and prayers are with Craig Mac, his friends
- 42:08Speaker 1: and family and his wife and his children. Uh, he'll
- 42:11Speaker 1: be missed. So rest in peace, Craig Mac. That's that's
- 42:14Speaker 1: really sad, It really really is. Yeah. So the party
- 42:18Speaker 1: didn't get started. It didn't get started till you heard
- 42:20Speaker 1: that song right there? All what was what was the
- 42:24Speaker 1: dance about nine? But I was caught ninety six. This
- 42:31Speaker 1: is just you know, we just right here the baby
- 42:32Speaker 1: don't pray you ain't the university. You could not wait
- 42:36Speaker 1: Baby Dog party. It was real. Yeah, man, I'm missing
- 42:44Speaker 1: the homecoming man, what'd d Yeah? Women, And I will
- 42:49Speaker 1: say this though, you know, for turned to Roy. You know, y'all,
- 42:52Speaker 1: y'all stroke, y'all will take up the whole baby dog
- 42:55Speaker 1: and you're gonna get out to wait what's the baby
- 42:57Speaker 1: on the Campus's is where the basketball team played, but
- 42:59Speaker 1: they the parties in there. That's what we have. We
- 43:02Speaker 1: have a separate facility at this HBCU the basketball game
- 43:09Speaker 1: and you called it the baby called the baby baby
- 43:11Speaker 1: done say that everything happens there. Everything happens in their
- 43:16Speaker 1: graduation luncheon, all all school information registration. Sometimes it's good
- 43:29Speaker 1: to have everything in one basketball team was upset scuff
- 43:36Speaker 1: marks on the pool. All right? Coming up in thirty
- 43:39Speaker 1: four after the hour, the White House is giving the

- 53:10Speaker 1: before we got to today's Strawberry Letter, and oh boy,
- 53:14Speaker 1: it's a good one subject. What am I supposed to
- 53:16Speaker 1: do with that? President Trump worries that incredible Mexican climbers
- 53:20Speaker 1: will scale the wall. You know he is uh in California.
- 53:24Speaker 1: We talked about that. Uh. He's touring the US Mexican
- 53:28Speaker 1: border just south of San Diego. He's checking out, you know,
- 53:31Speaker 1: the potential designs for the wall and everything where he
- 53:34Speaker 1: warned the engineers, UH that these Mexican, incredible Mexican climbers
- 53:40Speaker 1: will scale the Just take a listen to this, geez,
- 53:43Speaker 1: the round piece that you see up here or you
- 53:46Speaker 1: see more committy back there. The larger it is, the
- 53:49Speaker 1: better it is. Because it's very hard to get over
- 53:50Speaker 1: the top. It's really deterred from getting over the top.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Who would think? Who would think? But getting over the top,
- 53:56Speaker 1: it's easy. These are like professional mountain climbers, your incredible climb.
- 54:00Speaker 1: They can't climb some of these wolves. Some of them
- 54:03Speaker 1: they can. Those are the wolves were not using What
- 54:06Speaker 1: did they say in Forrest Gump? Life is like a
- 54:09Speaker 1: box of chocolate. You never know what you might get.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Can we say that abrought our current president? You never
- 54:15Speaker 1: know what's going to come out of his mouth. Okay? Uh.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Secretary of State or should I say former Secretary of
- 54:21Speaker 1: State Rex Tillerson is no longer the Secretary of State.
- 54:25Speaker 1: He's just not there anymore. He's out. He will be
- 54:28Speaker 1: replaced by CIA Director Mike Pompeo if he gets approved.
- 54:33Speaker 1: And right, and I think he fired him via Twitter, right,
- 54:42Speaker 1: President Trump says he will nominate Gina Haspell as a
- 54:45Speaker 1: new ci A chief. Now that is a woman. She
- 54:48Speaker 1: will be the first woman to head the CIA uh
- 54:51Speaker 1: as director and the first woman so chosen. Also, today,
- 54:55Speaker 1: the President is here in California, a state is going
- 55:00Speaker 1: show him much love. You know, he never even came
- 55:03Speaker 1: here during the campaign. He never came here him here. Yeah,
- 55:08Speaker 1: this is his first time since taking office. While here, uh,
- 55:11Speaker 1: in Calli. The President is planning on looking at prototypes
- 55:14Speaker 1: for the border wall and attending fundraiser supporting Republicans and
- 55:20Speaker 1: teachers get underpaid. Yeah, yeah, right now. Yeah, let's just
- 55:26Speaker 1: get to the letter. Guys. All right, here we go.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. It's that time strawberry letter.
- 55:32Speaker 1: All right, there's a hard one. Yeah. Before we do
- 55:37Speaker 1: the letter, j I do have to tell you if
- 55:40Speaker 1: you have small children with you had to turn away
- 55:43Speaker 1: on this one. This is a very adult letter. Uh,
- 55:47Speaker 1: and we're not kidding about that part. Subject what am
- 55:49Speaker 1: I supposed to do with that? Dear Stephen Shirley. Of course,
- 55:53Speaker 1: you know, Steve's out today, so it's me and the crew.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Oh lord, my strength. I have been dating a man
- 56:01Speaker 1: for four months, and recently we decided to be exclusive
- 56:05Speaker 1: and to start being intimate. Okay, she gave him ninety
- 56:09Speaker 1: days plus thirty more. Okay, alright, not mad at that.
- 56:12Speaker 1: The other night I was over at his place and
- 56:14Speaker 1: things started to heat up. I was super excited because
- 56:18Speaker 1: we hadn't been going any further than kissing, but this
- 56:21Speaker 1: night I was finally going to give him some so
- 56:28Speaker 1: I let my hands wander down his body and I
- 56:33Speaker 1: got the biggest shock of my life. He stood up
- 56:39Speaker 1: and dropped his pants and my mouth hit the floor. Okay,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I was eye to eye. Are you guys ready here?
- 56:50Speaker 1: You're ready for this week? I was eye to eye
- 56:53Speaker 1: with the biggest you know what that I have ever seen.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I told this is about me anyway in the uh.
- 57:15Speaker 1: This brother could scratch his ear with it if he
- 57:18Speaker 1: needed to. I was absolutely petrified. He saw the fear
- 57:25Speaker 1: in my face and suggested we just watch a movie instead.
- 57:32Speaker 1: We spent most of the night in silence, and she
- 57:36Speaker 1: was speechless after this, and eventually I asked him to
- 57:39Speaker 1: take me home. Okay, since that night he has been
- 57:44Speaker 1: calling and texting, But I don't know if I can
- 57:47Speaker 1: continue with the relationship. What am I supposed to do
- 57:51Speaker 1: with that? I really like spending time with him. Please help, Shirley. Yeah,
- 57:58Speaker 1: you're supposed to be the president here. I'm just gonna say.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say. Maybe there's a blessing. I gotta
- 58:11Speaker 1: say it. I have to say it. I understand you say,
- 58:16Speaker 1: I understand how she feels about this particular situation. It
- 58:19Speaker 1: is a scary situation. It really is. Um, it really is.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I think there are sometimes you can have too much
- 58:26Speaker 1: of a good thing, you really can, and in this case,
- 58:29Speaker 1: it seems like that that is the situation. Um, I
- 58:32Speaker 1: suggest taking your time. Well, you're gonna have to do that.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Lots of lubrication. I said that. I mean, if you're
- 58:45Speaker 1: planning on continuing a relationship. Yeah, yeah, I may even
- 59:04Speaker 1: go to the doctor beforehand. Too much for her can
- 59:10Speaker 1: please you? Then, when it happened to me, I just
- 59:13Speaker 1: thought over my shoulder and went home. I hate him.
- 59:19Speaker 1: We're not talking about but no, you're absolutely right. But
- 59:26Speaker 1: you're you're complaining on one and then when you find
- 59:30Speaker 1: I finally run into a man's blessed like this, and
- 59:32Speaker 1: then you don't want Sometimes it can be too much
- 59:35Speaker 1: of a good thing. It depends if it's too much.
- 59:38Speaker 1: It depends on what she can handle. If you want
- 59:41Speaker 1: to stay in there and deal with this situation a
- 59:43Speaker 1: man like a lady should tell a man if he
- 59:45Speaker 1: has if she has a lot of kids, right, you
- 59:47Speaker 1: should tell him upfront. Should a man tell a lady
- 59:51Speaker 1: we first look when I need to let you know,
- 59:59Speaker 1: we we overpack, if we go to the ample, we
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: got to pay for extra legs. Just tell a man
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: tell a lady that this is what I mean. I
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: appreciate the fact that they they've gone, like I said,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: a month past the thirty day uh trial period here. Um,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: but this is a lot. I mean if you can't
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: handle itally literally you can't handle this, I suggest you,

- 1:00:40Speaker 1: She doesn't seem like she can handle it, all right,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: we're gonna have part try. Oh she well, she knows
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: herself obviously when a piece, we gotta go all that thought.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: All right, pull that Part two of you, guys is
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a responsive. We'll talk to deal with part two of
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: this letter at twenty three after you're listening to the
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, Uh, here we go with part
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: two of today's Strawberry Letter. The subject what am I
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: supposed to do with that? A young lady wrote this.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: She's been dating a man for about four months. Recently
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: they decided to get a little closer, to get intimate
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: in their relationship. Like I said, they've been dating for
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: four months. Uh. Come to find out when they did
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: decide to get intimate, was that your phone change? Is
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: that her calling you? Perhaps? Anyway, So they decided to
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: become intimate, and the other night she was at his place,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: things kind of got heated, you know, they started kissing
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and everything, um and uh, her hands went there and
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: she decided she discovered that he was very very very
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: extremely well doubt extremely well endowed. Uh, and you know,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: she became fearful because it was you know, yeah, I mean,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: we know, we know you know, you know, I know
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: more than fearful. She said she was absolutely petrified. Those
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: are her words. So my suggestion, yeah petrified. My suggestion
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: to her is if she's that afraid, if it's that humongous,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and I just don't think she should. You know, what's
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: the question? It's this. It's the same as it is
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: as the subject what am I supposed to answer? We
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: are from what am I supposed? Okay, so this is
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: what she wants to know. What am I supposed to
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: do with that question mark? But she really likes spending
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: time with the You can do one, yeah, yeah, First
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: of all, when you see it coming it, you gonna
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: put both arms around it. You don't want to be
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: involved in early get to know it, get didn't know it?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I got one, I got good. Blocked the doors so
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the heat won't come in with it. Put that cold out,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you know what? You know what? You can get some
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: strain and go fishing with fish with you. Utilize what
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you said, Embrace the guy putting it for you. What
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: you got to tell you? If you can't get something
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: off the top shelf, stand on this, you go that.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: She absolutely pet What she didn't do with it? She
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: get ridio couch, sit on it, so petrified that he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: saw the look on her face, and we suggested that
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: you want to make some money. You don't need a
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: toll Trump, you got that. You're stuck in a ditch,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: called to him. I got it. She is she in

- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I'll tell you something. Are you having a party? You
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: having a party? One game? They like to play his limbo.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Just get down on. You want to add on to
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the room. You want to tear that wall down? You decorate?
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Wanta tell that whole wall down? Hold less, dude, let
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: him sing it not all that down? Check this out.

- 1:06:09Speaker 1: not not, you know I talking about you know, like
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you know, like bungee jumping is different. You know what
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I'm saying. What what better thing to bunch your jump off?

- 1:08:18Speaker 1: to deal when you've been ghosted. Tips to help ease
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the pain of someone disappearing on you when it comes
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: time to break up. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. Ghosting, guys, is a pretty cruel way to
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: end a relationship. We all know that because guys don't
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: like closure, right, but the practice of breaking up by
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: suddenly ending all communication with your partner is on the rise.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: So just shut it down everything. Yeah, no closure, No
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: more calls, no text, no showing off. Just ghost you
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: know what something well you like? Men don't like, you know,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: to be confronted, and yeah, that's how they do it. Yeah,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: they're just onto the next to the next. I'm different.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I like the one more tame. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: but a good time. Let's do it. One more tame
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: for the rope, you know what I'm paying. And then
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: you're but we get no, Yeah that's what that's close
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: your carla for you different? We stay all right, he
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: dried that over here, you get closure. We both laid down,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: we both got it. Were good, We're good. Let's walk away.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: All right, here we go. A recent study of thirteen
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: hundred found that of people say they've been ghosted and
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: admit to doing the ghosting. All right, jay, So here's
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: some tips to deal with it. Give yourself dedicated wallowing time,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: you know, to wallow in the sorrow, just you know,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: block off some time. You're gonna be sad, You're gonna hurt.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Women don't need that, No, especially you tell me because
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: you're so sensitive, and you know you are. But I
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: don't mean I ain't gonna go wallow with somebody else.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: You're not. But you know what, it's funny you say
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: that because Steve does say that the best way to
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: get over a person is to get under a new person. Yes, absolute,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: men do that. Okay, don't go looking for answers. You
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: know what happened? What did I do? Yeah? Don't don't
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: second guess yourself, don't overthink it. It's just done. You
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: have no idea what the other person is thinking. And
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: don't please do not go looking for an apology. That's
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: another tip. You're not gonna get down. No, no, no, no,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get trying to get closure from your ghoster.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: He's gone or she's gone. Let them go. They're probably
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: gonna lie anyway. You know, they're probably not going to
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: tell you the truth. Uh. And the other the other
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: tip is to force yourself to find the positive spin. M.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: That's interesting. Yeah. According to a dating coach, if there
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: was a lesson to be learned, try to, you know,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: find a lesson better off? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, what did
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: you do you know yeah, or it wasn't my fault,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: you know whatever. So so these are yeah, just learn.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: There's the lessons about just cool. I'm surprised you guys
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: didn't say it here down here is that? How you
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: waddle in a car and you key the car are
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the words of O j H. But we can him
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: in this. Yeah. So you guys have any dump stories.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: You guys get dumped. I know you do. Ja My god,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: come on, what just one time? There was this one
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: time when um I had said and then she she
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: told me she loved me, which was not true. He
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: didn't love me. And it was this big dance. It's
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: like back in the day. We'll go to this dance
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: and she had her other boyfriend there, and so I
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: go to the dance and she said meet me there,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: which is never a good sign. When you go to
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: pick them up, you pick them up. And when she
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: said meet me there, she was done with context clues, Jay,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: context clue. And not only they were dancing, but they
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: were really really nast they was grinded. Yeah, what kind
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: of change? I was so crushed. I was in the
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: sixth grade. That's when I started to drinking. I got
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: your daddy bottle. I had just got off the phone
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: with it, right. He said, well, I'm going to bed.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I said, all right, well we'll talk to marrow and
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: then you know, the feller said, hey, man, let's go
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: out to the bar. When we go up to the
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: bar and we have the childen leave and having drink,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and my boy said, hey, man, ain't that your girl
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: over there? I said, no, man, she went to bed.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I look first, she's sleep, man, And she was sleep alright.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: She had her eyes closed, but her toue was in
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: somebody else's mouth. I said, no, no, not in front
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: of you and everybody. That was the worst ride home
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: that everybody saw. Everybody saw. Fellers, let me have it.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: You have the worst to break up stories I've ever heard. Guy.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: It was like telling jokes too, so you know, it
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: was like I had enough to keep her. It was easy,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: very important. Yeah, it was easy thousand three right men, men,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: they're not detectives like we are. Look first, when the
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: guy said, isn't that your girls? Looked first? Yahoud say
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: she was going to sleep? You believe that? Why would
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: she lie she going to sleep? I know, I said,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: I'm going to sleep. Why don't guys, lie, why don't
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you lie? Come tell me with your story? All right,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: me gonna break mad Down Comedy Club, nineteen nineties. I'm
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I'm the host for the weekends. You know what. All
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: sum along, I'm pretty much the host. And I started
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: dating the Spanish girl. But it was really deal for
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: two weeks. It didn't lay alone. Started out with making
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: out in the back room in the green room. I
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I'm linking this chick right here. So then by two
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: weeks later I'm hosting. I get all stayed by ten
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: minutes early and I'm supposed to be and I go
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: to the same room we were making audience. She's making
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: out with another comedian and I don't know, I got
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: to bring him up neck, damn. And that wasn't funny. Okay,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: call that story all that story. We gotta come back
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: and talk about that. I love this, all right, um,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: and we're gonna talk about o J as well. We'll
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: be back. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Before we left to go to break, we were talking
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: about breakups, the worst breakups we had. It's not really
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Redicus quittin stories yea a ghosting stories all right, nephew,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: you were on deck. You talked about the girl you
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: were dating in the Spanish girl about two weeks only
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: two weeks flat. I'm I'm the host at the comedy
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: clubs that matter. That she was Spanish. Oh drop, Deck's pretty.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I just that's just how I remember. Oh, and that's
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: what she used to call me, said happy call, said poppy.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: When you hear pop turned you on? What they never
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: didly turned a few more people off. I get on
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: stage early one night and I'm bringing up this guy.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: And now he comes to the stage. I said, well,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: oh girl that I go to the same room we
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: was making out in his shield with the headline, I said,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I beat damn excuse me, headliner. Oh I'm sorry. Well
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I'm the host. That's a big difference, Pacheck, not the headline.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I don't know that. I thought we was going together.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: We didn't know that at all. With the head Poppy,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: don't come in here, don't look in this room right
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: now for me when I bring it to the stage,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: giving up for this blanket, and about the blanket and
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: blanket and guess what else he been? No, you told
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: everything he wanted. I mean he didn't know. Yeah, he didn't. Yeah,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: he comedy clubs, love stories or something else. Yeah, you
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: already know who it is. She didn't. Let's put it
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: this way. Certainly the Spanish girl and who Junior about
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to tell you they worked together. Junior has the absolute words.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Tommy told me just date the girl and gone about
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: your bill. Okay he said that. No, not falling. I
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: didn't say date just go by there. Yeah and keep

- 1:20:28Speaker 1: know she was missing with the deputy that the club
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: story about breakup and through in the church were about
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: the church. Pass it on. This is the pastor. Yeah, yeah, pastor,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: God missed over me with my best friend. Right, okay,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: we cut y'all together about four we made hustling. We're
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: hustling together. You can't work the harder than you got.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: We had the number one outside work seventh dog did
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: this was header every week we're making seven. This is
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: the story that made me fall such a sweetheart. Man,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: let me tell you something. So now all of a
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: sudden I find out that she didn't missed over me
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: with my best friend. We all, yeah, we cut your
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and we all go to the same church. Pastor got
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: announcement to make this Sunday more than his daughter because yeah,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: we all go church. It's her father's church. They say,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you know, past it, I got an announcement to make
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: my daughter is pregnant. The whole church looked at me.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I said, hold on, wait a minute. We were everybody
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: knew he was date. Yeah, because he being up front
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: by the church. What's going on? You know, he ain't know.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: He wasn't. He's a great man. So then he said
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: could the other family stand up? And everybody glost. I said, yeah,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: right there, Uh that's it. And now you can't go
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to the comedy little you can go to the church. Yeah,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I see the boy at the bomb shop. Boy could
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: have been your dad. Look at you. Now you let
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: but Tommy told me not to go. Don't do it
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: always somebody always tell you always get one always. All right,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: we gotta go more of this craziness when we come back,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: and we'll got to o J. We're gonna get to you.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: And yeah, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: For some for some reason, we got into breakup stories.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: But we didn't hear everybody stories. It's hard to top, Junior,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: but you got some. Yeah, yeah, it's correct. All right,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: let's go. Okay, Carl, you want to go first. Come on, Okay,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: let me tell a question. Does yours end up in
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: the police being? Kate came from so Okay? So for allegedly,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I was in a relationship with this guy for a
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: very long time. And Tommy knows him in Junior knows.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: So I was in this relationship with this guy for
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: a very long time and I found out that he
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: was cheating. My family tried to tell me, my best
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: friend everybody, but like you, Junior, I didn't listen. He's
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: a good man. Come on, you know, That's what I
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: was telling everybody. So when I figured it out, I
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: did some detective work. You know, we're good at that.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: This is how I figured it out. I came home
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: and went out of town with my mother. And so
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: when I came back from the trip, the house was sparkling.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: I lived together clean, Sureley, I'm talking about from clean. Yeah.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: So I walked into my closet, I mean, my shoes
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: were together, the clothes were hung up the right way,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: everything was just it was just spotless, and it was
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: too perfect. It was too perfect. So I said, we've
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: been in this house. He was like, what you're talking about?
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: What you're talking about just cleaned up because you've been
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: out of town. And I said, when I find out,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: when I started putting all this together, it's gonna be
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: a situation. So I called my mama, Mama, her grandmother
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and them on the three way. I said, while I
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: got home and the house is clean. So they all
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: said together, when you know what that means, she's been
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: over there, I said, huh so yeah. At that point
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I took you know, back then we had the CDs.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Remember the CD racks? Oh yeah, I took the whole
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: thing of c ds, threw them out outside the door,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: all on the front. Nothing's wrong with that, ready, you
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: see that? So he ran outside. I felt like I
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: was overreacting. I took all the clothes, all his clothes
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: out of the clean closet. How you gonna go to
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: waiting the eggs Hill and you ain't found nothing? And
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: she hasn't gotten to the park yet. The clothes outside, yeah,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: but she has some set him on fire. Yet We
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: were okay, and he deserved it. Go ahead, Carlin, all
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: the clothes outside on the yard. Yeah, finally, finally he left.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: He didn't admit to anything. He left. Then I finally
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: ran upstairs until our office. We had like an office
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: in the house, and I got the phone rack, yes,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: at the phone records, and went through each one, and
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I called not that you need that I didn't know,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: and then bam, she picked up the phone. Whoa. And
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: that's how I found out. And she and I got
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: to talking, and I asked her if she knew where
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: I lived, and she told me where I lived and
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: all of that. So that's how I found out. My
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: face right now is that emoji? Is that emoji you
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: know with your eyes with the ones with the eyes buck,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: that's my face right now. Nobody fault Southwestern detected work Carlin,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: that that you needed it? All right, we'll be back.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: here we are breakup stories. We've spent the better part
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: of this hour talking about breakup stories. All right. So
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: and why are we doing this? I don't know. Oh yeah,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: because we found this story about how people leave They
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: just trying to get trying to get closure all that. Okay,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: So so my girlfriend and I were dating these guys,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: and so we decided to cook dinner. Mostly of course,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: she handled that, you know, I know, you at the table,
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: at the table and all that stuff, you know, right,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: look at the she was dating this guy she had
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: just met, and I was dating someone that I had
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: just started dating. But what I didn't tell him is
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: that I was also dating this other guy. You was
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: dating two people. I was, Yeah, I was dating another person,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: but I didn't really like him though. I didn't like
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: him like that. I didn't like him like that. But
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: every day he would come over my house. He would
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: bring me beautiful roses, beautiful flowers, all of us. He
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: was a nice guy, but you know how you know,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: sometimes you don't like him. So the night came, it
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: was I just say, he was a sweetheart. So we
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: had our other guys came over. We were, you know,
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: having dinner. We're gonna have dinner at my house, so
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: they came over. We were in the kitchen preparing everything.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: All of a sudden, there was my doorbell, right yeah,
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: my doorbell ring. This is a true story. And for
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: some reason I just got a lump in my throat
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: because I didn't know who it was. So I went
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: to the door. No, I told my friend, I said,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: go to the door and see who that is. So
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: she went to the door. It was him, my brother.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: So she looked at the people hole. There he was
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: standing with a beautiful, beautiful guest, beautiful like me. So
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: so she was like, surely it's so, I said really,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: So yeah, I didn't say yeah. So I guess he
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: kind of heard us in there, so he knew we
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: were in there. So he rang the doorbell again, and
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: he kept ringing the doorbell. So yeah, so we were
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: in there. Oh my god, what are we gonna do?
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: So so the guys that we were dating, we were
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: getting ready to eat dinner. He just kept reading, Yeah,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: they're in there. He just don't Yeah, they hear it.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: So I had to tell him, okay, this is a
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: guy I'm dating, but I don't really want it. So
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: he got up, went to the door, opened the door,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: and they had and they got into it outside. Yeah
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: they did. They got I know it was you could
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: have that could have been a boy. I had to
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: set the table. Yeah, I was busy. We were getting
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: ready to eat. The plane deal with that. Yeah, So
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, they got into they didn't fight, fight,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: but there it was words, exchange, what you do? What
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: it was an ugly breakup was Yeah, he did take
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: a fa You know, I'm always about the right, so yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: we talked the next day. It was it was a
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: bad break Can I just say it was a bad
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: break This is not really a breakup story. This is
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: a way you've dogged a man out at the door
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: story Roses. Yeah, I'm sorry, I haven't already our last
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: break break. You're not gonna do any closing remarks. All right,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Well we'll be back, and we'll come back with part
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: two of Carlo's breakup story. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. I want to say, this guy's right up
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: the beat. I appreciate you three guys judging me like
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: you're judging me. Okay, all right, yeah about our breakup stories.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: We all have breakup stories. They don't all have to
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: be good. That was mine. I've changed really a breakup story.
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: It was that was a break We did break up
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: after that at the door with the flowers. Yeah, we
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: broke up after that. But carl you were in the
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: middle of your story. All right, So here's the breakup story.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: I was on. I was in college and I had
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: my boyfriend's car having a round boyfriend's car riding on campus.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: I was stunting. You couldn't tell me nothing car. My
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: girl was with me and this this young lady was
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: one of Tommy's friends. To rest in peace. She's no
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: longer with us. The name was Suavett, but that was
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: my girl. So we were having around on campus. So
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: I had to drop suave had off to her dorm
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: and then I would go to my dorm. So I
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: pulled up. That's what she dug down in the car,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: tender lights off. She said, hate that your boy right
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: there right there hugging out girl. And I said, girl, yeah,
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: that's him. And so she said, so what you want
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: to do? Now that's who you want with? Oh, yeah,
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: that's who you want. She said it was right, okay,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: put the carm part open the doors quietly. Was he
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: all up in her face with it? Oh? He was
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: kissing her everything, everything, It was everything Jay so said,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: so what's up? So he turned around. He was like,
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: what what's up? What are your girl right there behind me?
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: So swave that moved to the side. So I was
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: standing right there and saw that was like, handle that
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: right there. So I said, well, who is she? I said,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: what's going on here? And he was like, nothing's going on.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: So then the girl was like, well who is she?
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: Who are you? Right? Right right? Meaning? Who am I?
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: So I'm I'm his girl? And then she said I'm
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: his girl. Here we go, here we go, keep going
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: standing there with folded Wait did you hear what? Jay said? Carla?
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: What did you say? Jack? What couldn't both you talk
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: about me? Go ahead? You mean lady at the door.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I didn't go to the door, remember, So anyway, so
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: long story short, Swab was like, give me the keys,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: and I said, what you about to do? And she
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: said follow me to the car. He was like, what
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: you're about to do? He running after her? Everybody knew
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: about so I read it after Swaan man, he read
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: it after me? The girl running after him? Holy sh
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: She keep asking who am I? Who am by we
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: get to the car and so Swaven was like, so
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: what's the deal? Are y'all together and y'all not together?
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: So you know, she wanted me to like really confront
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: this guy. So he wouldn't admit to anything. He was like,
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: just give me my keys, just give me my keys.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: So then she gave me the keys and she looked
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: at me, gave me the knod. So I had the
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: key to the car right and he looked at me.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: He said, he's been now order an allegedly story that
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: was a young This is where it was. Yeah, this
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: is where it all, you know, cashing you as KK
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: was right. Anyway, he grabbed the key for me, got
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: in the car. She got in the car with them.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: They drove off and I'm just standing there and left you.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: He left you standing there. Yeah, he left his car. Yeah,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: he went back to his dorm. So I saw him
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: the next day, they walking hand in hand. So I
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: went up to both of them and he was like,
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: you know, it's over. I quit you yesterday. I hope
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: you said that. Yeah, that was it. That was you,
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: junior boy. It's the priv first time I got called.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: We're talking about breakup story. First time I got call.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Cheating the first time, trying to cheat. Now cheating, I'm
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: trying to I'm talking all yeah, that's what happens. So
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: once I did that, well, I'm in the park a
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: lot of the comedy club and my recognizable car. I
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: didn't shuck everybody at the comedy club. No, I'm driving
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: the Blue Cavalier. It ain't like I got to hide
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: this blue Cavalier. Everybody knows the two dogs. Blue Cavalier
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: belongs to Junior. It's not a problem. It ain't getting well.
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: I'm not in the Blue Cavalier. And rain got another
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: cheek in the car with me in the Blue Cathni kissing.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: I hear a tap on the door. I cain't see
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: because it's raining. I cracked the window too far. You
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: like a cracking just to your ask, No, I wrote
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: it down to the should the leap? Yeah? So did
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: she see the girl over that? She dove in the car?
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: About ever been shown through the window trying to get
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: snatched in a little cavern lit And the girl I
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: was kissing didn't even help. I was I was offended.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: How do you see how assualted me? I got an
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: umbrella hit. She hit me with umbrellas, scratching me with figuring.
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: Now I haven't cheated. Do you have a show later on? Yeah?
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: With that Timmy tea. Then let you do it, though,
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Could you do your show that night? No? I gave
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: him back the money because she wasn't leaving because she
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: She's like, I'm killing Timmy is on the north side
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: of the North side of Houston. She's like, I'm killing
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: your life was threatened. Yeah, yeah, and I was scared
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: to us. Damn first time I cheat. I'm gonna get keeps.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: I need to do better. Then the girl's gonna call
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: me next day. She said, you alright? D you all
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: right now? Alright? He got ice on my face. Why
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: you ain't help escaped within an in my life. And
