Where do you turn when you are at your absolute lowest? In Luke 4, we see Jesus enter the wilderness for 40 days -- no food, no water -- only to face Satan himself at his most physically vulnerable. Yet every temptation was met with the same response: "It is written." Where the first Adam had everything and still failed, the last Adam had nothing and still overcame. That is the gospel.
