Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Today's show is going to be really cool. Eric Trump
- 0:04Speaker 1: has a new book out talking about the weaponization of
- 0:07Speaker 1: the private sector against his father, the government, the federal
- 0:11Speaker 1: government against his father, and state governments that attacked his family.
- 0:16Speaker 1: He was subpoenaed countless times, and you'll be shocked to
- 0:19Speaker 1: hear him talk about how much money it costs to
- 0:22Speaker 1: defend themselves from these frivolous and ridiculous lawsuits. Senator Cruz
- 0:28Speaker 1: and I had the privilege of sitting down with Eric
- 0:30Speaker 1: to talk about his new book, and I want you
- 0:32Speaker 1: to hear what he had to say.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You know, Ben, I got to say, we try to
- 0:37Speaker 2: count on being honest and candid with our viewers and listeners,
- 0:41Speaker 2: and yet you just claim that we're going to take
- 0:43Speaker 2: a break from politics, and this is about as far
- 0:46Speaker 2: away from taking a break from politics as I can
- 0:49Speaker 2: possibly imagine. Today, we are very pleased to welcome our
- 0:54Speaker 2: friend Eric Trump, President Donald Trump's son, who has a
- 0:57Speaker 2: brand new book. A brand new book came out this week.
- 0:59Speaker 2: The bookook is entitled Under Siege, My Family's Fight to
- 1:03Speaker 2: Save Our Nation. He is in the midst of his
- 1:06Speaker 2: nationwide book tour right now, and and in classic Trump fashion,
- 1:10Speaker 2: he's on the list, and there's only one place to
- 1:13Speaker 2: be on the list, and that is at number one.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It's the number one best selling book in America right now. Uh,
- 1:18Speaker 2: and Eric, this is your first book. It ain't bad
- 1:21Speaker 2: debuting at number one. Congratulations and welcome.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Mister senator.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Now it will probably be my last book as well,
- 1:27Speaker 4: because we're not I'm not doing this again. You know,
- 1:29Speaker 4: the return, the return on time of books is especially
- 1:31Speaker 4: when you put your heart and soul into it. But yeah,
- 1:33Speaker 4: we're number one on Amazon, We're number one on all
- 1:35Speaker 4: the lists, and it's I mean, it just went viral.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I think. You know, people in this country are pissed off.
- 1:39Speaker 4: And and mister Centaer, you you've done a better job
- 1:42Speaker 4: fighting against a weaponization of government that I would say
- 1:44Speaker 4: just about anybody other than maybe Donald Trump, right, who's
- 1:47Speaker 4: had to face all of this. And you know, I
- 1:49Speaker 4: became the pinata in this whole fight because I was
- 1:51Speaker 4: the one guy who didn't have constitutional protections. I was
- 1:53Speaker 4: a civilian, you know, I was the guy that was
- 1:55Speaker 4: running the Trump organization. I was the guy that ran
- 1:57Speaker 4: everything that was outside of Washington, DC from my father
- 2:00Speaker 4: when he went into the White House and what they
- 2:03Speaker 4: tried to do to us, what they tried to do
- 2:05Speaker 4: to our family, what they tried to do to this nation,
- 2:07Speaker 4: what they tried to do to you and all your
- 2:10Speaker 4: viewers on this show is unthinkable, and somebody had to
- 2:12Speaker 4: materialize it because there's the greatest governmental corruption this nation
- 2:16Speaker 4: has ever seen.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Well, you're right, and they launched everything they had at
- 2:22Speaker 2: your father, at your family, four separate indictments. On top
- 2:26Speaker 2: of that, the asinine case from the New York Attorney
- 2:29Speaker 2: General trying to argue that somehow global international banks are
- 2:37Speaker 2: innocent wifes who are deceived and are apparently are unable
- 2:41Speaker 2: to value real estate because you know, giant banks have
- 2:44Speaker 2: never had to value real estate in the past. I
- 2:47Speaker 2: will confess, for me, maybe the most absurd moment of
- 2:51Speaker 2: all of it was when the idiot judge in New
- 2:55Speaker 2: York valued bar a Lago at eighteen million dollars, which
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'll confess I saw it.
- 3:01Speaker 5: I would have bought it for that.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I saw your dad not shortly after that, and I
- 3:05Speaker 2: offered it on the spot. I said, mister President, I'll
- 3:08Speaker 2: give you twenty million right now. Well they too, I mean,
- 3:12Speaker 2: as you as you know, you can't buy a hot
- 3:14Speaker 2: dog stand in Palm Beach for eighteen million dollars, and
- 3:17Speaker 2: and that notion that, to me, it was the most ludicrous.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It was a relatively small detail of what was a
- 3:25Speaker 2: pile of idiocy upon idiocy. But you guys were the
- 3:29Speaker 2: targets of it, and and it it cannot have been fun.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Mister Center.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I became the most opeenid man in American history for
- 3:37Speaker 4: doing absolutely nothing wrong. I'm not Hunter Biden. I never
- 3:40Speaker 4: had a speeding ticket in my life. I've lived a
- 3:42Speaker 4: very straight, very good life, hard working guy, no games,
- 3:46Speaker 4: never even approached a line, you know, raised right, you know,
- 3:49Speaker 4: And and they tried to destroy us. I was the
- 3:52Speaker 4: one that was getting calls from the FBI. You remember
- 3:53Speaker 4: the Rushia hoos very well because you were probably the
- 3:55Speaker 4: best person at fighting against it. Eric, I hear you
- 3:58Speaker 4: have secret servers in the basement of Trump were communicating
- 4:00Speaker 4: directly with the Kremlin. I go, excuse me, I literally started,
- 4:03Speaker 4: mister Center. I started laughing. I started laughing. I go,
- 4:05Speaker 4: First of all, you don't keep servers in basements because
- 4:08Speaker 4: basement's flood. Second of all, were like largely cloud based,
- 4:10Speaker 4: and they did it so a greedy woman could get
- 4:12Speaker 4: about three extra votes, right, and they used that as
- 4:16Speaker 4: their explanation as to why she lost.
- 4:18Speaker 3: And then it was.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Impeachment number one, and then it was impeachment number two,
- 4:20Speaker 4: and then it was them attacking Cavanaugh. And then it
- 4:23Speaker 4: was one hundred and twelve subpoenas that I received for
- 4:24Speaker 4: again doing nothing wrong. And then it was a weaponization
- 4:27Speaker 4: of every attorney general and district attorney in this country,
- 4:30Speaker 4: whether it be Latitia James or Alvin Bragg or Cy
- 4:33Speaker 4: Vance or Fanny Willis and her boyfriend in Fulton, Georgia,
- 4:37Speaker 4: you know, or Jack Smith or Comy and everything that
- 4:41Speaker 4: they did. Then they spied on her campaign. Then they
- 4:44Speaker 4: did the weaponization of Faiza. Then they took my father
- 4:47Speaker 4: off the ballot in Colorado, and then they took him
- 4:48Speaker 4: off the ballot in Maine. And when that didn't work,
- 4:51Speaker 4: they tried to silence his voice and get rid of
- 4:53Speaker 4: his First Amendment, right, So what did they do? Took
- 4:55Speaker 4: him off of YouTube, took him off of Twitter, took
- 4:57Speaker 4: him off of Facebook, took him off of in inst
- 5:00Speaker 4: And when that didn't work, when we popped up truth social,
- 5:02Speaker 4: what did they do? They had every judge imposed gag orders.
- 5:05Speaker 4: On him, and then they raided mar A Lago. I
- 5:08Speaker 4: was the guy that got the call when thirty FBI
- 5:10Speaker 4: agents were outside screaming in a phone to me turn
- 5:13Speaker 4: off the security cameras at at mar A Lago. They
- 5:17Speaker 4: did everything they could, and then they de banked us,
- 5:19Speaker 4: and then they deplatformed us. They tried to bankrupt us,
- 5:22Speaker 4: they tried to imprison us. And I'll never forget walking
- 5:26Speaker 4: out of that jail cell with my father in New
- 5:27Speaker 4: York after the thirty four felony accounts right which have
- 5:30Speaker 4: all been overturned, and I said, Dad, we either win
- 5:33Speaker 4: the White House or you and I are in jail
- 5:35Speaker 4: for doing absolutely nothing wrong. That's how diabolical the pendulum was.
- 5:41Speaker 4: And they were doing it to the people in this
- 5:42Speaker 4: country as well. They were debanking them. They were going
- 5:45Speaker 4: after their pastors, they were going after their churches. They
- 5:47Speaker 4: were weaponizing the irs. You know, they were skipping great
- 5:52Speaker 4: people who had worked their butts off their entire year
- 5:54Speaker 4: because of DEI hires and literally rooting upward mobility of
- 5:57Speaker 4: people across the country. They were corrupting their children. They
- 6:01Speaker 4: were teaching them revisionist history. This siege wasn't just against
- 6:05Speaker 4: the Trump family. It was against all of us, it
- 6:06Speaker 4: was against both of you. It was against every person
- 6:09Speaker 4: that's watching us right now. And people are pissed off
- 6:12Speaker 4: in this country, and that's why this book went to
- 6:14Speaker 4: number one.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You mentioned mar Lago a second ago and getting that
- 6:18Speaker 1: phone call. Can you just explain how insane that day
- 6:23Speaker 1: must have been because I know people we saw it
- 6:25Speaker 1: on TV, but you were on the inside. And when
- 6:28Speaker 1: you're getting a phone called, they're telling you to turn
- 6:30Speaker 1: your cameras off.
- 6:32Speaker 3: So like, what time of day is it, what are
- 6:33Speaker 3: you doing?
- 6:35Speaker 4: It was about seven fifty eight o'clock in the morning
- 6:37Speaker 4: when I got a call from my team. They say,
- 6:38Speaker 4: the thirty FBI agents and they have a search warrant.
- 6:40Speaker 4: I go, what are they searching? I'm not sure if
- 6:42Speaker 4: I understand, Like we have like such a great relationship
- 6:44Speaker 4: with law enforcement. It was bizarre at the time. I go,
- 6:47Speaker 4: how would I not know about this? From Secret Service?
- 6:49Speaker 4: How would I not know? I mean, they didn't give
- 6:50Speaker 4: anybody warning. And I'll never forget, I said. I finally
- 6:54Speaker 4: figured out what they were doing. And I said, did
- 6:55Speaker 4: anybody let my father know? And it was my team,
- 6:57Speaker 4: really and they said no, And I go we'll call
- 6:59Speaker 4: him right now, and we met in his office and
- 7:01Speaker 4: that's when he wrote up that beautiful tweet, as you remember.
- 7:03Speaker 4: And the FBI was so damn pissed that we sent
- 7:05Speaker 4: out that tweet. They wanted to have the narrative, they
- 7:08Speaker 4: wanted to be able to release a story, and instead
- 7:10Speaker 4: my father writes that beautiful tweet. You know, right now,
- 7:13Speaker 4: the FBI is raiding the famous mar A Lago my home,
- 7:17Speaker 4: you know, and the world went crazy. The world couldn't
- 7:20Speaker 4: stand it. It was the worst decision that they ever made.
- 7:23Speaker 4: And remember, Senator, they said it was on behalf of
- 7:25Speaker 4: Nara right National Archives. Does anybody I went on Hannity
- 7:28Speaker 4: that night, I go, does anybody actually believe a glorified
- 7:31Speaker 4: library sent thirty FBI agents to invade Mara A Lago
- 7:35Speaker 4: with with firearms?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Give me a break, right?
- 7:38Speaker 4: And then sure enough it comes out there was Joe Biden,
- 7:40Speaker 4: and it was Merrick Garland, and it was the whole
- 7:42Speaker 4: host of criminals that weaponized the entire system. But I'll
- 7:45Speaker 4: never forget that call. Thirty FBI agents outside of mar
- 7:49Speaker 4: A Lago. They searched Milania's room, they searched Baron's room,
- 7:52Speaker 4: They took attorney client privileged documents. They took hippa documents.
- 7:57Speaker 4: You can't make it up.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Every so often, said, something happens that reminds us just
- 8:01Speaker 1: how fragile our freedoms are. We can't afford to take
- 8:05Speaker 1: our rights for granted. We must draw a line in
- 8:08Speaker 1: the sand, and our friends at Patriot Mobile have been
- 8:11Speaker 1: doing just that for more than twelve years. The truth
- 8:15Speaker 1: is there is only one provider that boldly stands in
- 8:18Speaker 1: the gap for Americans who believe freedom is worth fighting for,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and that company is Patriot Mobile. Not only are they
- 8:25Speaker 1: leading the red economy, they're also outpacing the competition and technology.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is one of the only carriers offering premium
- 8:35Speaker 1: access to all three major US networks, giving you nationwide
- 8:39Speaker 1: coverage and service that you can count on day after day.
- 8:43Speaker 1: They also offer unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
- 8:48Speaker 1: internet backup, in so much more, and switching has never
- 8:52Speaker 1: been easier. You can activate in minutes on your phone
- 8:56Speaker 1: from your home or your office, and you keep your
- 8:58Speaker 1: same number. You've got now keep your same phone or
- 9:01Speaker 1: upgrade to a new one. And this is where the
- 9:03Speaker 1: magic happens. Every month, about five percent of your bill
- 9:07Speaker 1: is given back to conservative causes at no extra cost
- 9:10Speaker 1: to you that stand up for our First and our
- 9:13Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children, and are
- 9:16Speaker 1: wounded warriors and those that have fought for a country
- 9:20Speaker 1: and wear a badge. So take a stand today and
- 9:23Speaker 1: make a difference with every call you make. Patriot mobile
- 9:27Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Use the promo code ferguson for a free month of
- 9:35Speaker 1: service as well. That's patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or
- 9:40Speaker 1: nine seven to two Patriot, And make the switch and
- 9:43Speaker 1: make a difference with every call you make. I know
- 9:46Speaker 1: you're going to try to terrorize in New York Times
- 9:48Speaker 1: a little bit. That's the hardest thing is just to
- 9:50Speaker 1: screw with them and be at the top of their list.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So everyone listening, I hope you'll buy the book just
- 9:55Speaker 1: so we can screw with them a little bit. Center
- 9:57Speaker 1: you've been at the top of that list. It's hard
- 9:59Speaker 1: to get there.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Well, I will say, Eric, you should brace yourself. It
- 10:03Speaker 2: doesn't matter how many copies of the book you sell.
- 10:05Speaker 2: The New York Times is going to insist that that
- 10:08Speaker 2: like left Handed Transgender Witches is the number one book
- 10:11Speaker 2: in America, and to be fair, in the New York
- 10:14Speaker 2: Times newsroom, it probably is the number one book in America.
- 10:16Speaker 2: But if you get outside the New York Times and
- 10:19Speaker 2: to the rest of America, there are a lot of
- 10:21Speaker 2: people right now that are going to Amazon. Go to
- 10:23Speaker 2: Amazon right now by Eric truck Trump's book, keep it
- 10:26Speaker 2: at number one, Annoy a liberal by two, buy one
- 10:29Speaker 2: for yourself, and buy one to give a liberal just
- 10:31Speaker 2: to drive them crazy, and and and to say, explain
- 10:35Speaker 2: to me again how you think weaponization is a bad thing.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Because because your your liberal friends, to the extent you
- 10:42Speaker 2: have any that they haven't defriended you, they're not going
- 10:45Speaker 2: to have an answer to that. Eric, tell me, what
- 10:47Speaker 2: was your dad's reaction when you went in and and
- 10:50Speaker 2: told them, okay, the FBI agents are here. I assume
- 10:53Speaker 2: he was pissed, but like, what was his immediate reaction
- 10:56Speaker 2: when you tell him that.
- 10:57Speaker 3: It was actually remarkably calm.
- 10:59Speaker 4: You know, it's it's you know, I've seen my father
- 11:01Speaker 4: pissed many times, but he doesn't get pissed off in
- 11:04Speaker 4: situations of kind of like great anguish and stress. Right,
- 11:06Speaker 4: it's no different than Butler, but you know, almost foreshadow
- 11:08Speaker 4: Butler is the same thing. It's it's I probably would
- 11:10Speaker 4: have been pissed in Butler, and I think he was
- 11:12Speaker 4: actually remarkably calm, especially in the aftermath of what happened.
- 11:16Speaker 4: And you know he was always his commist in the
- 11:18Speaker 4: worst moments, always, I mean and center. You saw many
- 11:21Speaker 4: of them. I mean you were there for many of
- 11:23Speaker 4: them in so many different ways. You know, he never
- 11:26Speaker 4: let emotion fly. It was it was a very he goes,
- 11:29Speaker 4: you gotta be kidding me, all right, honey, meet me
- 11:31Speaker 4: in my office. You know, we're going to write up
- 11:32Speaker 4: a statement. And that's when he let that truth fly.
- 11:34Speaker 4: And you know, the rest is history. I mean, for
- 11:36Speaker 4: the next month, they had helicopters buzzing over mar a
- 11:38Speaker 4: Lago and you know the scenes of that front gate.
- 11:41Speaker 4: You remember this, the cop car from the front gate
- 11:43Speaker 4: of mar Lago. I mean, mar Lago became, not that
- 11:45Speaker 4: it wasn't probably already, but he became the most famous
- 11:47Speaker 4: property in the world. Based on on that raid and
- 11:50Speaker 4: what they did, and then the aftermath of all of it,
- 11:52Speaker 4: we find out Jack Smith was bringing in classified folders
- 11:54Speaker 4: and effectively staging photo shoots on the office floor of
- 11:58Speaker 4: my father's you know office. But you know, as I
- 12:01Speaker 4: said before, guys, I mean they were going through Malania's closet,
- 12:04Speaker 4: they were going through Baron's room. They literally they took
- 12:07Speaker 4: his medical records, right like hip a related records.
- 12:11Speaker 3: That pissed off the judge. I can only tell you.
- 12:13Speaker 4: They took attorney client documents right That also really pissed
- 12:16Speaker 4: off Aileen Cannon, the judge on the case.
- 12:20Speaker 3: You just you couldn't believe it. And then you know, again,
- 12:22Speaker 3: all of this was stage.
- 12:23Speaker 4: You think Donald Trump just leaves classified folders fanned out
- 12:26Speaker 4: perfectly on the floor. I mean, it was all staged.
- 12:29Speaker 4: It was all set up. They wanted to imprison him.
- 12:32Speaker 4: They wanted to take his voice. They wanted to imprison him.
- 12:34Speaker 4: They wanted him behind bars. They didn't want him to
- 12:37Speaker 4: be able to campaign. They wanted to weaponize the system
- 12:40Speaker 4: in any way, shape or form, and they weren't able
- 12:42Speaker 4: to do it.
- 12:43Speaker 1: A lot of people remember the deep platforming, and you
- 12:46Speaker 1: mentioned that earlier, and you go back to the end
- 12:48Speaker 1: of his first term in office. But one of the
- 12:51Speaker 1: things you mentioned earlier on was they tried to ruin
- 12:54Speaker 1: your businesses by d banking, you can you explain for
- 12:58Speaker 1: people that don't understand just how critical that was in
- 13:01Speaker 1: a time and the Trump organization. Mean, you've been handed
- 13:03Speaker 1: the family business to run it, and now you're finding
- 13:06Speaker 1: out you can't even have banking the way that you
- 13:08Speaker 1: need to have banking to literally run businesses, whether you're
- 13:11Speaker 1: big business or a small business. A lot of people
- 13:13Speaker 1: listening right now. If you don't have a bank, you
- 13:14Speaker 1: don't have a business.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Ben, it was that times one hundred.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I mean they they literally it was coordinated by the administration,
- 13:21Speaker 4: There's no question about it. And they called up and
- 13:23Speaker 4: they said, listen, congratulations, you cancel the account. I was
- 13:25Speaker 4: getting these letters. I got one from Capital One. They
- 13:27Speaker 4: had three hundred bank accounts. And these aren't like baby
- 13:29Speaker 4: bank accounts. These are massive commercial buildings that have hundreds
- 13:33Speaker 4: of tenants, you know, thousands of people working in these buildings,
- 13:37Speaker 4: hundreds if not thousands, of vendors, heavy real estate taxes,
- 13:41Speaker 4: I mean people, hundreds and hundreds of people depend their
- 13:45Speaker 4: livelihoods depend on on these businesses.
- 13:47Speaker 3: They've got complicated lock.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Box provisions and loan you know, loan documents, thousands of inputs,
- 13:52Speaker 4: coming in like this, you know, and they just called up.
- 13:55Speaker 4: You know, your accounts are going to get closed. You've
- 13:57Speaker 4: got one or two days to move them, and congratulations,
- 14:00Speaker 4: you're done. All because we wore a hat that said
- 14:02Speaker 4: make America great Again.
- 14:04Speaker 3: That was read.
- 14:05Speaker 4: These were commercial buildings, these were condominium associations, these were
- 14:08Speaker 4: small golf courses, these were you know, residential shops, these
- 14:12Speaker 4: were scrow accounts, things that had nothing to do, nothing
- 14:15Speaker 4: to do with politics whatsoever. And they canceled us like
- 14:18Speaker 4: we were dogs. Capital One was the worst. JP Morgan
- 14:21Speaker 4: was horrible. Bank of America was horrible. First Republic was terrible.
- 14:26Speaker 4: But it wasn't just the banks. It was platform Shopify.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Shopify literally gave us a notice they do all the
- 14:32Speaker 4: e comm platforms in the middle of the night, turned
- 14:34Speaker 4: off our accounts like we were nothing right. We were
- 14:36Speaker 4: selling golf polos that we have, you know, from mar
- 14:39Speaker 4: A Lago, and they did everything they could to hurt us,
- 14:43Speaker 4: to turn off the rails right again. They wanted our
- 14:46Speaker 4: voice gone, They wanted us bankrupt, they wanted the name
- 14:49Speaker 4: off of every building. They wanted us thrown out of
- 14:51Speaker 4: New York. You had Letitia James. That was trying to
- 14:54Speaker 4: repossess our assets. I mean, it was almost like forfeiture.
- 14:56Speaker 4: It was not constitutional. Hence the reason the appellate courts
- 15:00Speaker 4: throughout the case five zero and we got a resounding
- 15:02Speaker 4: victory two weeks ago or three weeks ago.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Guys, they tried everything they could.
- 15:06Speaker 4: And because I was the guy outside of Washington, DC,
- 15:08Speaker 4: because I ran the company, it all fell on me.
- 15:11Speaker 4: That's how I became the most subpoened person the history
- 15:13Speaker 4: of this country. Having never done a damn thing wrong.
- 15:16Speaker 4: They wanted to get to my father coming through me.
- 15:19Speaker 2: That Now, were these business accounts, personal accounts both, I mean,
- 15:23Speaker 2: how many accounts are we talking about? Roughly like what.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Five five hundred?
- 15:28Speaker 4: You know, lots of those being business accounts, all of
- 15:31Speaker 4: them being us. You know, my wife has a like
- 15:33Speaker 4: athletic clothing line. You know, JP Morgan Chase wouldn't open
- 15:36Speaker 4: up an account, so you know, for her, she's not
- 15:39Speaker 4: Donald Trump, she's not the Trump organization. They did this
- 15:42Speaker 4: to everyone in the family. If you even came close.
- 15:46Speaker 4: You know, if you even came close. I have a
- 15:48Speaker 4: little farm with a couple buddies. They canceled that account.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Doesn't wear a Trump name. It can't they were indiscriminate
- 15:55Speaker 4: if it was six degrees of sep the narration from Trump,
- 15:58Speaker 4: they canceled us and one guys, you know, I'm an outspoken,
- 16:02Speaker 4: you know, a big fan of of you know, cryptocurrency.
- 16:05Speaker 4: That's how I found crypto because I realized how quickly
- 16:08Speaker 4: financial institutions can be weaponized against the American people and
- 16:12Speaker 4: realize that there's nothing that can be done on you know,
- 16:14Speaker 4: using traditional financial institutions that can't be done better faster, cheaper, safer,
- 16:19Speaker 4: and more efficiently using cryptocurrency.
- 16:22Speaker 3: And I'm I'm the biggest proponent of it.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Did did they even even purport to give you any
- 16:26Speaker 2: explanation or do they just say oh, it's canceled like
- 16:30Speaker 2: like that that they didn't Was there any details or
- 16:33Speaker 2: you just get phone calls or get an email and say, okay,
- 16:36Speaker 2: this this account's done.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Other other than a lot of those you know a
- 16:39Speaker 4: lot of the people that worked in the in the
- 16:41Speaker 4: banks who otherwise said this is the most I can't
- 16:43Speaker 4: believe it. I can't believe what my bank's doing. This
- 16:45Speaker 4: is all political, That's what they're saying in the corridors
- 16:47Speaker 4: every day they canceled you for political reasons. There's no
- 16:50Speaker 4: other explanation. They're telling us, you know, they're telling us,
- 16:53Speaker 4: we can't talk to you ever.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Again.
- 16:55Speaker 4: I was unbelievable, and I would not wish that on
- 16:57Speaker 4: my worst enemy. To take the race of being able
- 17:01Speaker 4: to pay employees. These are housekeepers, these are janitors, these
- 17:04Speaker 4: are engineers, these are security officers, these are drivers, hospitality workers,
- 17:09Speaker 4: to not be able to pay them a salary, all
- 17:12Speaker 4: because somebody wanted to politicize a system against a candidate,
- 17:16Speaker 4: because they happened to be a conservative and they believed
- 17:19Speaker 4: in making America great again.
- 17:22Speaker 1: SATA, this is a story that we're hearing about the
- 17:26Speaker 1: weaponization of the private sector, not the gover, but the
- 17:29Speaker 1: private sector against the Trump organization. The moment that he
- 17:34Speaker 1: just said, five hundred bankcounts just shut down, I'm shocked
- 17:38Speaker 1: by that. I think you were as well.
- 17:40Speaker 2: That number. I'd never heard anything remotely close to that.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I mean, that really is stunning. So you're running your
- 17:47Speaker 2: families outside businesses, you get these calls. What do you
- 17:51Speaker 2: do when you're given what you said twenty four hours
- 17:54Speaker 2: forty eight hours notice, Like, were there banks that were
- 17:58Speaker 2: willing to welcome your business or or what did you
- 18:01Speaker 2: do with five hundred accounts being canceled.
- 18:04Speaker 4: You had a lot of attorney generals and you had
- 18:05Speaker 4: a lot of government institutions that were going to these
- 18:07Speaker 4: banks saying, don't even think about it, don't touch that account.
- 18:10Speaker 3: You know.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Letitia James was doing that to the bonding companies when
- 18:13Speaker 4: we had to after the initial ruling, when we had
- 18:15Speaker 4: to post a six hundred million dollar bond. By the way,
- 18:19Speaker 4: that that was like five times the size of the
- 18:21Speaker 4: Boeing bond that made them, you know that literally, I
- 18:24Speaker 4: it was. It was the biggest bond ever seen in
- 18:27Speaker 4: the country, you know. And she was going to the
- 18:29Speaker 4: very same institutions saying, don't even touch that bond. So
- 18:32Speaker 4: we had to post a bond based on the court
- 18:34Speaker 4: before we had everything overturned, and she was going to
- 18:36Speaker 4: the biggest assurance company saying, you don't touch that bond.
- 18:39Speaker 4: You know, you're registered in New York and if you
- 18:41Speaker 4: touched that bond, I'm going to think less favorably on you.
- 18:44Speaker 4: That's how badly they weaponize the system. What do you
- 18:47Speaker 4: do when you get those letters? You want to crawl
- 18:49Speaker 4: under your desk, And honestly, I had I had probably
- 18:52Speaker 4: one hundred people in the company that didn't sleep for
- 18:54Speaker 4: a six month period of time, who were distraught. And
- 18:57Speaker 4: thank god we had enough little local banks. You know
- 19:00Speaker 4: that that you move all the accounts. I'm thinking about
- 19:02Speaker 4: it right to these little local branches who want to
- 19:05Speaker 4: take your money. But these weren't the JP Morgans, these
- 19:07Speaker 4: weren't the Bank of Americas. They were still a little
- 19:10Speaker 4: They were small, little mom and pop regional banks that
- 19:13Speaker 4: did the right thing and honestly probably saved us based
- 19:15Speaker 4: on the fact that they were willing to do the
- 19:17Speaker 4: right thing. This didn't just happen to us. I was
- 19:19Speaker 4: on the campaign trail, I'd hear from people every single day.
- 19:22Speaker 4: You know, my bank canceled me. Why well, my company
- 19:25Speaker 4: makes the spring, and the spring goes in a fishing reel,
- 19:28Speaker 4: and that fishing reel sold at bass pro shops, and
- 19:30Speaker 4: bass pro shops sells twelve games duck hunting Ammo, and
- 19:33Speaker 4: they thought the affiliation. I heard this everywhere I went.
- 19:37Speaker 4: I heard it from the crypto guys. I believed in bitcoin,
- 19:39Speaker 4: I believed in stable coin, I believe in the future
- 19:41Speaker 4: of kind of modern finance. And because I believed in
- 19:45Speaker 4: crypto currency, my banks canceled me. Well, COVID canceled me,
- 19:48Speaker 4: Bank of America canceled me. Guys, I heard this all
- 19:51Speaker 4: over the place. You know, we need to make this illegal,
- 19:54Speaker 4: and it is. It's illegal and a lot of states
- 19:57Speaker 4: and under a lot of banking clauses. But the fact
- 20:00Speaker 4: you can literally I mean, could you imagine if if
- 20:02Speaker 4: AT and T or Rising just decided to cancel all
- 20:05Speaker 4: conservative cell phones?
- 20:07Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 20:08Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:08Speaker 4: If you can't bank, you can't survive. If you can't bank,
- 20:12Speaker 4: you can't eat. If you can't bank, you can't pay employees.
- 20:16Speaker 4: And yet they turned us off like we were dogs.
- 20:18Speaker 5: How much money do you think that Trump?
- 20:20Speaker 1: When you guys were out during the four years and
- 20:22Speaker 1: under siege like this, how many business deals got blown
- 20:25Speaker 1: up because people were afraid even to just do business
- 20:28Speaker 1: with you, because they're afraid their business would be affected
- 20:30Speaker 1: negatively and they could be targeted. I'm assuming that was
- 20:33Speaker 1: a reality for quite some time.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Well, I talk a lot about it in the book.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I mean the reporters that just made their whole livelihoods.
- 20:40Speaker 4: David Farrenholdt from the Washington Post and others, you know,
- 20:43Speaker 4: made their entire livelihoods calling up you know, vendors of
- 20:47Speaker 4: ours calling up our employees, calling up brides and grooms
- 20:50Speaker 4: that we're gonna get married at one of the properties,
- 20:51Speaker 4: one of the hotels.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And they were harassing people that were getting married at
- 20:56Speaker 1: Trump resorts.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Oh I have I have more emails than you can
- 21:00Speaker 4: possibly imagine. You know, I hear you're gonna go get
- 21:02Speaker 4: married at at M mar Lago. Oh really, you know
- 21:05Speaker 4: this might have to make the front cover of a
- 21:07Speaker 4: respective paper, you know, can you please give me comment?
- 21:10Speaker 4: And these brides and grooms were saying, I just want
- 21:12Speaker 4: to get married in peace, you know, I just you know,
- 21:14Speaker 4: there's a beautiful property. I'm not a political person. I
- 21:17Speaker 4: just you know it's it's it's a five star property.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I love the place. It's convenient. My family lives nearby.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Whatever the hell of the reason they were doing that,
- 21:25Speaker 4: They were extorting employees. They were going up to employees,
- 21:28Speaker 4: and they frankly tried to do it to me. Hey,
- 21:30Speaker 4: you tell us anything about Donald Trump, will let you go.
- 21:32Speaker 3: You know, all your problems.
- 21:34Speaker 5: They tried to turn you against your own father.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Alvin Bragg, Are you kidding me?
- 21:40Speaker 4: The Cyrus Vance, all of them, they they weaponized every
- 21:44Speaker 4: da in and ag to try and flip every single
- 21:47Speaker 4: person to say anything negative, to get any negative testimony
- 21:51Speaker 4: against Donald Trump for their own political purposes. Absolutely, that
- 21:55Speaker 4: was the whole game they played. And no one in
- 21:57Speaker 4: our company broke.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Guys.
- 21:58Speaker 4: This was the siege that I dealt with every single day, right,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I mean it was it was all of these factors
- 22:03Speaker 4: that came together, all at once, all the time, doing anything.
- 22:07Speaker 3: They could to to to just chop us off.
- 22:10Speaker 4: At every single I mean when they made up the
- 22:13Speaker 4: dirty dossier, when they made up right, I mean, they
- 22:16Speaker 4: have stories about prostitution in there, about golden you know
- 22:19Speaker 4: what's right? What do you think they were trying. They
- 22:21Speaker 4: were trying to divorce my father. They were trying to
- 22:23Speaker 4: destroy his marriage. They were trying to break up our family.
- 22:26Speaker 4: That's what they were trying to do. Also, a greedy
- 22:29Speaker 4: woman could get, you know again, two more votes. These
- 22:32Speaker 4: people are sick, These people are deranged, and there's been
- 22:34Speaker 4: zero accountability for any of it. And as a son
- 22:39Speaker 4: who fought by my father's side every single day during
- 22:41Speaker 4: this battle, somebody had to tell this story. Somebody had
- 22:44Speaker 4: to tell the inside perspective of the lens that a
- 22:47Speaker 4: corrupt government will go to besides just spying on campaigns
- 22:51Speaker 4: and despise just you know, raiding homes, you know, all
- 22:55Speaker 4: the things that they did to try and destroy us,
- 22:57Speaker 4: to try and destroy make America great again, and try
- 22:59Speaker 4: and construer destroy conservatives all across the country.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Look, it was unmitigated evil and it was driven part
- 23:06Speaker 2: of it was driven by hate. Today, the defining characteristic
- 23:09Speaker 2: I think of the Democrat Party.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Is they hate your father.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and they hate your family. I mean that anything
- 23:16Speaker 2: connected to your father they hate. And I think it also, though,
- 23:20Speaker 2: was a deep contempt for democracy. I think every one
- 23:23Speaker 2: of these indictments, I think the weaponization that we saw
- 23:26Speaker 2: their underlying terror is that the voters would do what
- 23:30Speaker 2: they did in November of twenty twenty four and vote
- 23:32Speaker 2: to re elect your father. And this was all about
- 23:35Speaker 2: undermining democracy and preventing the voters from doing that. You know, Eric,
- 23:40Speaker 2: you mentioned earlier that you described yourself as as the
- 23:42Speaker 2: most subpoena man in America. How many subpoenas did you
- 23:46Speaker 2: get and did you testify a lot of times? Were
- 23:49Speaker 2: they demanding documents? What subpoenas were coming?
- 23:51Speaker 4: In one hundred and twelve subpoenas I sat in more
- 23:54Speaker 4: depositions than any human being in the history of depositions.
- 23:58Speaker 4: And by the way, these are like big boy subpoenas, right,
- 24:00Speaker 4: They're all coming from you, your close friend Elizabeth Warren
- 24:02Speaker 4: as we like to call her Pocahontas, and and many
- 24:05Speaker 4: others we turned over. I mean, they would ask for
- 24:08Speaker 4: document discovery, you know, please give us every email in
- 24:11Speaker 4: the company, and they would list a thousand words. But
- 24:13Speaker 4: aside from that, they would list national and international. Well,
- 24:15Speaker 4: all our hotels are Trump International Hotel, and all our
- 24:18Speaker 4: golf courses are Trump National Golf Course. You could probably
- 24:21Speaker 4: see where this is going. Every email signature of every
- 24:25Speaker 4: person in the company either has the word national or
- 24:27Speaker 4: international in it. That's their fishing expedition. I actually brought
- 24:30Speaker 4: this to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court specifically
- 24:32Speaker 4: told them you can't fish, right, and they did it.
- 24:35Speaker 4: They did it any way. The judges didn't give a damn.
- 24:37Speaker 4: They wanted to find any comma that was out of place,
- 24:40Speaker 4: and they couldn't. I mean, in the Letitia James trial,
- 24:44Speaker 4: literally Deutsche Bank was on the stand saying that Trump
- 24:46Speaker 4: was the best lender that they've ever had. Right, we
- 24:48Speaker 4: made them, hundreds of millions of dollars paid off, every loan,
- 24:51Speaker 4: paid it off ahead of time, never missed a payment.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Even in the darkest days of COVID when they made
- 24:56Speaker 4: a shutdown our properties, we never missed, we never faulted,
- 25:00Speaker 4: we never breached a covenant. And then one day I
- 25:03Speaker 4: wake up to the nightmare of your fine six hundred
- 25:05Speaker 4: million dollars for doing nothing wrong with banks that loved us,
- 25:08Speaker 4: that testified that they loved us. I mean it was
- 25:11Speaker 4: you know, and that's because you had a crooked judge. Again,
- 25:13Speaker 4: got overturned five zero at the next court. But they
- 25:17Speaker 4: rigged out the entire system. And you're seeing them do
- 25:19Speaker 4: that right now, right You're seeing them do that in Washington, DC,
- 25:22Speaker 4: where ninety four percent of the cases that go in
- 25:24Speaker 4: front of the lower Course are are literally you know,
- 25:27Speaker 4: going against the administration and then they all have to
- 25:30Speaker 4: go up on a po and get overturned. But guys,
- 25:32Speaker 4: the beautiful thing about the story is we won, right.
- 25:36Speaker 4: I mean, the media loss, The media lost their credibility.
- 25:39Speaker 4: No one likes the mainstream media. I mean, my wife
- 25:42Speaker 4: is on Fox News on a Saturday and nine pm,
- 25:45Speaker 4: and she's getting four extra ratings of CNN on the
- 25:49Speaker 4: same time slot on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in primetime slots. Right,
- 25:54Speaker 4: no one likes the mainstream media. ABC's dead, NBC's dead,
- 25:57Speaker 4: CNN's dead. An independent voice is like, these podcasts are
- 26:01Speaker 4: winning the day.
- 26:03Speaker 2: And by the way, she she is doing an awesome job.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I had a chance to be on her show, and
- 26:07Speaker 2: she's she's a great interviewer because she's relaxed, she's having fun,
- 26:10Speaker 2: she's asking real questions and and it's night and day. Uh,
- 26:14Speaker 2: you know, I I will occasionally do do CNN. Poor
- 26:18Speaker 2: Ben was on CNN for six seven years. I actually
- 26:20Speaker 2: think he has a padded room and he like like
- 26:23Speaker 2: puts on a straightjacuality, remembers those times.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Fighting comedies for seven years.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Hey listen, I just came off Caitlyn Collins about twenty
- 26:29Speaker 4: minutes ago.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Right, So it's not some prayers.
- 26:35Speaker 2: You know, it's it's so bad. Let me ask you
- 26:40Speaker 2: when all of this was coming in, And it is
- 26:43Speaker 2: not exaggeration to say there has never been a political
- 26:46Speaker 2: leader subject to more weaponization, more assaults, more insanely unfair
- 26:56Speaker 2: attacks than that than your father has been. Was there
- 26:59Speaker 2: ever time that that you felt yourself giving in to
- 27:03Speaker 2: despair and and do you think your dad ever did.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Yeah, honestly, it's like we're like masochistic, We like we
- 27:09Speaker 4: like pain or something along those lines. Right, It's like
- 27:11Speaker 4: a weird trade, right, And I think it served us well.
- 27:14Speaker 4: But now I think we were so pissed off at
- 27:16Speaker 4: that point. We wanted to fight, and we wanted to win.
- 27:18Speaker 4: And we want to save the Constitution. We want to
- 27:20Speaker 4: save the American flag. We wanted to save religion in society.
- 27:23Speaker 4: We want to save the you know, Second Amendment. We
- 27:25Speaker 4: want to end end wokeness. We wanted to stop the
- 27:29Speaker 4: dei nonsense, you know, men my size swimming in women's sport.
- 27:34Speaker 4: We wanted to save the greatest country in the world
- 27:36Speaker 4: against absolute lunacy. And so we never gave up. We
- 27:40Speaker 4: never stopped fighting. We went out there and we punched
- 27:42Speaker 4: back every single day, and we did that as a family.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I never left that stage, And honestly, I've never been
- 27:47Speaker 4: more proud of a human being in my life.
- 27:50Speaker 1: All Right, So, our guests with us is Eric Trump center.
- 27:53Speaker 1: You and I were just talking with him about this,
- 27:56Speaker 1: really his family being under siege. You talked about these
- 27:59Speaker 1: big boys as part of that is to financially hurt you.
- 28:05Speaker 1: What did you, guys, spend just doing the fighting of
- 28:09Speaker 1: all the lawsuits against you during that four year period.
- 28:12Speaker 1: How much did it cost you?
- 28:14Speaker 4: Roughly four hundred million, guys. I laugh when people, oh,
- 28:19Speaker 4: Trump is profiting off of government. I go, wait, wait,
- 28:22Speaker 4: excuse me. If you want to come in, I'll break
- 28:24Speaker 4: down the finances you want to Trump's profit. We spent
- 28:27Speaker 4: four hundred million dollars to defend ourselves against nonsense, the
- 28:32Speaker 4: fact that we did not have secret servers communicating with
- 28:34Speaker 4: the Kremlin, the fact that Don wasn't a Russian agent.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Remember you had Adam Schiff out there every single day.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Donald Trump Junior is a Russian agent.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Guys.
- 28:44Speaker 4: If he wasn't, if he wasn't protected by the speech
- 28:47Speaker 4: and debate laws, you would have, honestly, the guy.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Would have been worth a zero.
- 28:51Speaker 4: He would have been living in a shoe box based
- 28:53Speaker 4: on the fact that you would have sued him for
- 28:54Speaker 4: slander and taken everything that he ever had. It was
- 28:58Speaker 4: all made up. They did everything they possibly could to
- 29:02Speaker 4: take us down. We spent over four hundred million dollars
- 29:04Speaker 4: between that. You know, Letitia, you know Alvin Braggs side Vance,
- 29:08Speaker 4: you know, if Fanny, I mean, I could.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Go on and on the raids the mara alag What
- 29:12Speaker 2: was the worst to deal with between Alvin braggsie Vance,
- 29:15Speaker 2: Leticia James jack Smith? Who was the worst?
- 29:18Speaker 4: Probably did Letitia if you want to know the truth,
- 29:20Speaker 4: I mean, it was so corrupt and I don't know
- 29:24Speaker 4: Alvin Braggbaus. You had Brshawn, I mean, Judge Barhawn's daughter
- 29:27Speaker 4: is like that, the head digital fundraiser for the Democratic Party,
- 29:31Speaker 4: and the guy wouldn't recuse himself, and literally you'd be
- 29:33Speaker 4: sitting in these courtrooms, guys, and I would not leave
- 29:35Speaker 4: my father's side. I sat next to him every single day.
- 29:39Speaker 4: If he was there, I was going to be there
- 29:40Speaker 4: as a son to support him, you know. And most
- 29:43Speaker 4: of the time some of these cases I wasn't gagged
- 29:45Speaker 4: in so normally I was the guy in the courthouse steps,
- 29:47Speaker 4: you know, shouting and yelling at the cameras as to
- 29:49Speaker 4: what the hell was actually going on, because that's the
- 29:50Speaker 4: only way you could communicate a message. But guys, I mean,
- 29:53Speaker 4: you had liberal and I mean liberal reporters who were
- 29:56Speaker 4: in that courtroom shaking their heads saying none of this
- 29:59Speaker 4: makes it. I mean, they shut down all of Manhattan,
- 30:03Speaker 4: Lower Manhattan for a hundred thousand dollars payment that my
- 30:06Speaker 4: father didn't even make, made by a lawyer. They indicted
- 30:10Speaker 4: him thirty four times. I mean, you know, al Capone
- 30:13Speaker 4: had had one felony indictment. They indicted my father thirty
- 30:16Speaker 4: four times for one hundred thousand dollars payment, by the way,
- 30:20Speaker 4: by a district attorney who ran on the premise, you know,
- 30:23Speaker 4: of reducing what you know, just decriminalizing just about anything.
- 30:27Speaker 4: You know, you can shoot somebody in the face in
- 30:28Speaker 4: Times Square and it was decriminalized, and you're gonna let
- 30:31Speaker 4: them out, and you know you're gonna have community policing
- 30:33Speaker 4: and all sorts of nonsense. I mean, he ran on
- 30:35Speaker 4: the premise of literally emptying Rikers Island so you had
- 30:38Speaker 4: no criminals in there. Yet you know, thirty four felonies
- 30:41Speaker 4: in six month period of time is shutting down New
- 30:43Speaker 4: York in the FDR drive every day over one hundred
- 30:45Speaker 4: thousand dollars.
- 30:45Speaker 3: I mean, it wasn't believable.
- 30:47Speaker 2: If if only your father were mugging people in Times Square,
- 30:51Speaker 2: then Alvin Bragg would never have prosecuted him, But instead
- 30:54Speaker 2: he committed the unspeakable sin of not only being president
- 30:58Speaker 2: of the United States, but being an extra ordinarily successful
- 31:01Speaker 2: and bold president of the United States, which which is
- 31:04Speaker 2: an unpardonable sin. All right, we don't have much much
- 31:07Speaker 2: time left, but but I want to take it a
- 31:08Speaker 2: little bit lighter and and ask what was it like?
- 31:13Speaker 4: Like?
- 31:13Speaker 2: Your father is is unique. I've never in my life
- 31:17Speaker 2: have I met anyone remotely like your father. He and
- 31:20Speaker 2: I have spent a lot of time together. He has
- 31:22Speaker 2: extraordinary courage. But before he was president, what was it
- 31:26Speaker 2: like growing up as a kid with Donald Trump as
- 31:29Speaker 2: your father? Like, like, like, how what was he like
- 31:31Speaker 2: as a dad when you were ten?
- 31:34Speaker 3: Honestly, the greatest dad you can ever imagine.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Expected big things from us, right, I mean every day
- 31:39Speaker 4: I go give him kiss before I went to school. Honey,
- 31:41Speaker 4: no drink drinking, no drugs, no smoking. You better get
- 31:43Speaker 4: good grades. And by the way, never trust anybody. Right
- 31:45Speaker 4: he did once in a while I had that he
- 31:46Speaker 4: never never trust anyone. Hey, that's probably that was gonna be.
- 31:50Speaker 4: I said, I've probably benefited us pretty well, so amazing guy.
- 31:54Speaker 4: You know, listen, we're spoiled as hell, and that we
- 31:55Speaker 4: lived in you know, Trump Tower. We had beautiful roof overhead.
- 31:58Speaker 4: We were always well fed. We we had the best education.
- 32:01Speaker 4: But we were never handed money. We're never handy cash.
- 32:04Speaker 4: If we wanted something, If I wanted a fishing road, congratulations,
- 32:07Speaker 4: you're working for it. I got on our construction sites
- 32:09Speaker 4: when I was eleven years old, doing demo, doing electrical HVAC,
- 32:12Speaker 4: you know, running back hose excavators. You know, I grew
- 32:16Speaker 4: up working with my hands on our construction sites with
- 32:18Speaker 4: many of the guys that work for me today. And
- 32:21Speaker 4: you know what, he wanted us to learn a trait.
- 32:22Speaker 4: He wanted us to learn the value of a dollar.
- 32:25Speaker 4: And by the way, he wanted us to be tired
- 32:26Speaker 4: as hell at the end of the day. You know,
- 32:28Speaker 4: because listen, don't give Type A kids or any kid.
- 32:31Speaker 4: But don't give Type A kids money or free time,
- 32:33Speaker 4: because bad things happen. And he was an amazing father.
- 32:37Speaker 4: He is an amazing father. And everything we've ever done
- 32:39Speaker 4: we fought together, whether it's real estate, whether it was
- 32:41Speaker 4: the Apprentice. I was on that for seven seasons, and
- 32:44Speaker 4: then in politics. I mean, when he decided to run,
- 32:47Speaker 4: he said to us, he goes, you know, kids, let's
- 32:49Speaker 4: do this. You know, I was on Meghan Kelly. I
- 32:50Speaker 4: didn't know what the hell immigration was. I mean, Senator,
- 32:53Speaker 4: this was not my world. I built, you know, hotels,
- 32:56Speaker 4: and all of a sudden, I'm in the middle of box.
- 32:58Speaker 5: I got a wall, and now you're on TV.
- 33:00Speaker 4: I've got ninety illegal immigrants around me and I'm battling
- 33:03Speaker 4: all of them. And I don't know the first damn
- 33:04Speaker 4: thing about illegal immigration, right. I mean, like, this is
- 33:07Speaker 4: not the world that we came from. But my father's
- 33:09Speaker 4: a remarkable guy. My mother was an amazing powerhouse and strict,
- 33:14Speaker 4: demanded manners, demanded respect, demanded work ethic and either the
- 33:18Speaker 4: greatest parents you can ever imagine. I spent a lot
- 33:20Speaker 4: of time in underseage talking about, you know, being raised
- 33:22Speaker 4: by them, and you know, it was unique in so
- 33:24Speaker 4: many ways. But they they did everything they could in
- 33:27Speaker 4: this strange world that we lived in to ground us
- 33:30Speaker 4: and make sure we turned out to be hard workers, normal,
- 33:33Speaker 4: you know, and didn't have any of these kind of
- 33:35Speaker 4: Hunter Biden esque problems. I don't have a laptop from hell,
- 33:38Speaker 4: you know, I don't do finger paintings selling it to
- 33:40Speaker 4: you know, foreign nationals all over the world. You know,
- 33:43Speaker 4: never married my you know, my brother's ex wife, like,
- 33:46Speaker 4: never did that kind of stuff. No drugs, no, you know,
- 33:49Speaker 4: no perversion. I was always a good kid who believed
- 33:51Speaker 4: in God and believed in hard work and you know,
- 33:54Speaker 4: lived an honest life.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Eric, I can't tell you how many times, dozens, if
- 33:58Speaker 2: not hundreds of times people have conte that one of
- 34:01Speaker 2: the things they admire most about your dad, uh is
- 34:05Speaker 2: is you and your brothers and sisters. And listen, it
- 34:08Speaker 2: is hard for for any successful person to to raise
- 34:12Speaker 2: good kids. It's challenging. There's a lot of pressure and
- 34:15Speaker 2: and you know, I I know know your entire family,
- 34:19Speaker 2: and I will say literally people early on throughout the process,
- 34:23Speaker 2: they'll comment, well, you know, somehow his kids are like
- 34:26Speaker 2: like not messed up and incredibly successful and put together
- 34:30Speaker 2: and and I mean, it's all right.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Let me ask you.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Let's let let's say we have some young parents that
- 34:35Speaker 2: are listening to this podcast. Are there any lessons a
- 34:39Speaker 2: young parent by the way, uh, you know Ben Ben
- 34:42Speaker 2: has young kids, I have teenage. Are there any lessons
- 34:45Speaker 2: any lessons from your dad that that young parents should
- 34:48Speaker 2: know or lessons that that you've tried to apply.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Yeah, keep them poor and make them start working early. Honestly,
- 34:55Speaker 4: I mean that's what it is. Keep keep them poor,
- 34:57Speaker 4: don't don't give type A kids money and don't give
- 35:00Speaker 4: them endless time. That's just a bad recipe, right, And
- 35:03Speaker 4: you know, I can't tell you, guys how many friends
- 35:05Speaker 4: I had, you know, who were peers who went to
- 35:07Speaker 4: school with me, And you know, three quarters of them
- 35:09Speaker 4: ended up in rehab and and a lot of them
- 35:12Speaker 4: went down bad roads. And guess what they were getting
- 35:13Speaker 4: ferraris you know when they're you know, sixteen years old, Like,
- 35:16Speaker 4: what do you ever want to aspire to to get
- 35:19Speaker 4: if that's if that's how you're being raised. I mean,
- 35:22Speaker 4: does it surprise you that those people don't have work ethic?
- 35:24Speaker 4: Does it surprise you that they would go down bad roads?
- 35:26Speaker 4: And my father would never let that happen to us,
- 35:29Speaker 4: And you know he made us work our butts off.
- 35:31Speaker 4: And believe me, if I wasn't good at what I
- 35:33Speaker 4: did real estate wise, I would not be in this chair.
- 35:36Speaker 4: I mean, forget about bapotism for a second. It you know,
- 35:39Speaker 4: if we weren't incredibly capable, believe me, I wouldn't be
- 35:41Speaker 4: running one of the largest real estate empires anywhere in
- 35:43Speaker 4: the world. And he made us work, and he made
- 35:46Speaker 4: us prove that we were good at what we do,
- 35:47Speaker 4: and we fought every single day. And we're an incredibly
- 35:50Speaker 4: tight family. And he's a remarkable person. He's my best friend.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I love him to death, and I'm so proud of him,
- 35:55Speaker 4: especially in a week where he's accomplished as much as
- 35:58Speaker 4: he had. I am so damn pros out of what
- 36:01Speaker 4: he did and what he's accomplished and the hell of
- 36:03Speaker 4: a journey. Guys, It's all worth it. This is all
- 36:06Speaker 4: worth it. The siege is all worth it based on,
- 36:09Speaker 4: you know, the great things that are happening to our country.
- 36:11Speaker 3: And our world.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Don't forget share this podcast please with your family and
- 36:15Speaker 1: your friends wherever they are, and I will see you
- 36:18Speaker 1: back here tomorrow.
