Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you as always and center.
- 0:05Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but we were right.
- 0:07Speaker 2: These protests have now organically the left one you believe,
- 0:12Speaker 2: just started all over the country. We're in what twenty
- 0:15Speaker 2: plus states now, and this looks like the Summer of rage,
- 0:18Speaker 2: the same thing we saw with the big summer Black
- 0:20Speaker 2: Lives Matter.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Everything's peaceful, we just burn down and loud a bunch
- 0:23Speaker 1: of stuff.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Well, America tragically is a flame, and as we predicted,
- 0:28Speaker 3: the la riots have now spread across the country coast
- 0:31Speaker 3: to coast. This is organized, this is paid for. This
- 0:35Speaker 3: is the new Summer of love. This is the left.
- 0:39Speaker 3: They want these riots. Democrats are celebrating these riots, and
- 0:43Speaker 3: this is who they stand for. They are for violence,
- 0:46Speaker 3: they are for illegal immigration, they are for open borders,
- 0:48Speaker 3: they are for looting, and they are cheering it all on.
- 0:52Speaker 3: We're going to take you all across the country walk
- 0:54Speaker 3: through what's happening and where this is going.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it is truly shocking what is happening, and we're
- 1:00Speaker 2: going to break it all down for you as it
- 1:02Speaker 2: is continuing to develop very quickly. Before we get to
- 1:05Speaker 2: that I want to just say, now is the time
- 1:08Speaker 2: for so many Americans to stand up with our friends
- 1:12Speaker 2: in Israel. And what we are seeing right now is
- 1:15Speaker 2: truly disturbing. Anti Semitism, unfortunately, is on the rise, not
- 1:19Speaker 2: just around the world, but right here in America. We
- 1:23Speaker 2: have seen Jewish schools that are being targeted, We've seen
- 1:25Speaker 2: synagogues that have been threatened.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Families are truly living in fear.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I was talking this morning with a friend of mine
- 1:33Speaker 2: who is Jewish, and he said, this is something that
- 1:35Speaker 2: he has not seen in his lifetime in America. Just
- 1:39Speaker 2: how bad the anti Semitism right now. And that's why
- 1:42Speaker 2: this is our moment to take a stand, and I
- 1:45Speaker 2: want you to stand by helping the International.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 1:50Speaker 2: They are on the front lines providing real help where
- 1:52Speaker 2: it's needed most. They're giving food and shelter to Jewish
- 1:56Speaker 2: families under threat, building bomb shelters for children. They're helping
- 2:01Speaker 2: survivors of hate rebuild their lives. And they don't just
- 2:05Speaker 2: respond to the crisis, they work every day to actually
- 2:07Speaker 2: prevent them from happening. Now they're asking for a simple
- 2:11Speaker 2: gift of forty five dollars and that's going to help
- 2:14Speaker 2: support life saving work like providing food and shelter in
- 2:18Speaker 2: so much more so, if you are wanting to stand
- 2:22Speaker 2: with the people in Israel and really make a difference,
- 2:24Speaker 2: this is an incredible way of doing it. Supporting the
- 2:27Speaker 2: IFCJ is a spiritual stand. It's showing up for God's
- 2:30Speaker 2: people when it counts. You can call them and get
- 2:32Speaker 2: involved eight to eight four eight eight IFCJ that's eight
- 2:37Speaker 2: eight eight four eight eight four three two five. Or
- 2:41Speaker 2: go to IFCJ dot org. That's IFCJ dot org. Every
- 2:46Speaker 2: dollar helps the people in Israel be the difference IFCJ
- 2:50Speaker 2: dot org. So, Senator you and I said this on
- 2:53Speaker 2: this show a couple of days ago, that this was
- 2:56Speaker 2: clearly gonna be something that was premeditated and pre planned
- 2:59Speaker 2: and was spread across the country. They acted like I
- 3:03Speaker 2: was an insane person when I said this on CNN
- 3:05Speaker 2: last night and everybody started yelling at me. I'm like,
- 3:07Speaker 2: you watch it's gonna happen. Now, we're in twenty plus states.
- 3:11Speaker 3: We're right well, as of when we're recording, we have
- 3:15Speaker 3: seen riots and protests for illegal immigration breakout, not just
- 3:22Speaker 3: in LA but in San Francisco, sant Ana, Sacramento, in Phoenix, Houston,
- 3:29Speaker 3: San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, in Seattle, and Portland in Salt
- 3:35Speaker 3: Lake City and Detroit, in Hartford, Connecticut, and Boston, in Philadelphia,
- 3:40Speaker 3: in Atlanta, in Baltimore, in New York City and Washington,
- 3:43Speaker 3: d C. And Tampa, in Jacksonville, in Raleigh, and in Louisville.
- 3:48Speaker 3: That is not simply organic. There is money and by
- 3:53Speaker 3: the way, we are seeing supplies arriving at these events.
- 3:58Speaker 3: This is this. This is the same agenda that was
- 4:02Speaker 3: behind the Black Lives Matter and the ANTIFA riots across
- 4:06Speaker 3: the country. They're paid for, whether it is George Soros
- 4:10Speaker 3: or other anti American leftists who hate this country, who
- 4:14Speaker 3: want violence and are funding it. And this is virtually
- 4:18Speaker 3: every one of those cities is controlled by Democrats, and
- 4:23Speaker 3: the democrats in those cities in many instances are complicit
- 4:28Speaker 3: and are cheering them on. And understand this is also
- 4:33Speaker 3: openly embracing criminality. This is openly embracing I want you
- 4:38Speaker 3: to listen to the owner of a family owned jewelry
- 4:43Speaker 3: store in Los Angeles with it with tears in his
- 4:47Speaker 3: eyes after looters had destroyed his family business.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Get a listen and remember, don't forget they'd said that
- 4:53Speaker 2: it was all peaceful.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Earlier.
- 4:55Speaker 5: We were at the Apple store, we were at the
- 4:57Speaker 5: Adidas store.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Both of them looted.
- 5:00Speaker 5: The glass shattered, a lot of things stolen. And they're
- 5:03Speaker 5: big companies, they'll take a hit.
- 5:05Speaker 4: But it is the.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Small, the mom and pop businesses that have also been
- 5:11Speaker 5: looted that are heartbreaking.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Joining me now live niemat his daughter Sheila.
- 5:16Speaker 5: They've been in the jewelry business, Nathan's Jewelers since nineteen
- 5:20Speaker 5: eighty seven here on South Hill, and we're going to
- 5:23Speaker 5: show you the shattered.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Glass in just a moment.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Niematt, I mean you have tears in your eyes of
- 5:30Speaker 5: what they've done to your business.
- 5:33Speaker 6: What they don't might be the neest. I don't know
- 5:35Speaker 6: how to go see what's going on. I don't know
- 5:38Speaker 6: what they don't to be the right.
- 5:39Speaker 5: But you were telling me that why take out whatever
- 5:43Speaker 5: issues people have on you?
- 5:45Speaker 4: A small business owner is a lot of people.
- 5:50Speaker 7: That is to many people.
- 5:52Speaker 4: How does this affect you? Very bad?
- 5:56Speaker 6: That is one vic is the riot and the people
- 6:02Speaker 6: of the clange and other things, and they closed the
- 6:08Speaker 6: business and nobody can't come inside another day. Something else,
- 6:13Speaker 6: and days something else. Why they don't why they being
- 6:17Speaker 6: up to downtown. Why did fople come to downtown. They
- 6:22Speaker 6: go to somewhere out of the city limits and they
- 6:27Speaker 6: could him and what they want to do? Why they
- 6:29Speaker 6: come in.
- 6:29Speaker 5: And why did they affect a small business owner? Sheila,
- 6:32Speaker 5: your dad worked so hard and he was telling me
- 6:35Speaker 5: and he had.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Tears in his eyes earlier that you know the store.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Now you start to see the damage done inside. This
- 6:42Speaker 5: is a jewelry martin We also have video of other
- 6:45Speaker 5: stores that were looted overnight. There were reports, Sheila, of
- 6:48Speaker 5: up to one hundred looters at a time at a
- 6:51Speaker 5: jewelry business.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Crazy, very crazy, very sod, very terrible. And your dad
- 6:56Speaker 4: works really hard. I'm sure you work really hard too.
- 6:59Speaker 5: This is a small family owned business and there's no insurance, no, no,
- 7:04Speaker 5: how is this going to affect your family?
- 7:06Speaker 4: Really really bad. People are stupid. People are stupid. What
- 7:11Speaker 4: can you do? And why target you? You have nothing
- 7:15Speaker 4: to do with any of this. I know, I know,
- 7:18Speaker 4: I don't know why. I'm sorry, Sheila. I'm sorry.
- 7:21Speaker 8: N Matt.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I hope the damage isn't too bad.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Insideo Gino his it far away to come in here,
- 7:29Speaker 6: and we had killed to driving the car coming in
- 7:32Speaker 6: hire my day damage the car, we took the bus
- 7:35Speaker 6: that took it, look and became right now to in here.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I hope the damage isn't too bad.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Your business was one of many businesses that were looted overnight.
- 7:46Speaker 6: But I know jewelry. I felt like a custom jewelry thin.
- 7:50Speaker 6: But you know I'm not the big guy, not a
- 7:53Speaker 6: big fish.
- 7:54Speaker 4: You're not a big fish.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Well that's why it hurts even more because you're not
- 7:58Speaker 5: a big fish. You're not Apple, you're not ad and
- 8:00Speaker 5: they're going to take a loss too. I'm so sorry
- 8:03Speaker 5: for this multiple businesses. There were many arrests made. Were
- 8:07Speaker 5: waiting to get those numbers from the LAPD.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Now let's just be clear.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I can't believe you said there's many arrests because this
- 8:14Speaker 2: is all peaceful center and by the way, where a
- 8:16Speaker 2: lot of this looting was happening. This was not where
- 8:19Speaker 2: there were actual protests. It's just full blown looting in riots.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Look, this is criminality, which is Look and that's what
- 8:25Speaker 3: happened during the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots is
- 8:28Speaker 3: that criminals are unchained and they loot often small businesses.
- 8:34Speaker 3: You know, you listen to the daughter. They're saying, people
- 8:36Speaker 3: are stupid, But what can you do, Well, what you
- 8:38Speaker 3: can do is arrest them. What you can do is
- 8:40Speaker 3: allow law enforcement to do their jobs, put them in handcuffs,
- 8:44Speaker 3: put them in jail. And tragically they're in LA, and
- 8:49Speaker 3: in LA they won't let them do that. Listen to
- 8:52Speaker 3: another Los Angeles business owner on the looters.
- 8:54Speaker 7: This is so ridicultos. This It doesn't look like this
- 8:57Speaker 7: is the protesting for ice or anything. This is that
- 9:00Speaker 7: they're doing just for the looting the stores and everything.
- 9:03Speaker 7: I saw.
- 9:03Speaker 9: They break into the Apple store, they break into the
- 9:05Speaker 9: Editor store.
- 9:06Speaker 7: This is not they're doing for TIS.
- 9:09Speaker 2: What's interesting about what he said is the story came
- 9:12Speaker 2: out later. This is a legal immigrant who is criticizing
- 9:17Speaker 2: the illegal immigrants and those that are eluding. He is saying,
- 9:21Speaker 2: I want law and order and I want there to
- 9:23Speaker 2: be protection in LA.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. And the citizens of LA and
- 9:29Speaker 3: the citizens of California are being abandoned and and and
- 9:33Speaker 3: they're being abandoned deliberately by Gavin Newsom and by elected
- 9:36Speaker 3: Democrats here. I want you to listen to to sheriff
- 9:39Speaker 3: Chad Bianco, who is the sheriff in Riverside County in California.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Listen to what he has to say about about these
- 9:46Speaker 3: rioters and about Gavin Newsom's responsibility for what they're doing.
- 9:51Speaker 10: Really appalled that we are at this point in society
- 9:56Speaker 10: where people come out and think that this is okay,
- 9:58Speaker 10: and then it makes it one hundred times worse when
- 10:02Speaker 10: you have politicians that are encouraging it, that are not
- 10:06Speaker 10: calling it what it is, which is criminal activity, the
- 10:10Speaker 10: lying to all of us, lying to the media, and
- 10:12Speaker 10: purposely using the word peaceful while maybe they should look
- 10:18Speaker 10: at their phones or their TVs because I have law
- 10:20Speaker 10: enforcement officers that are being shot at, that are being injured,
- 10:23Speaker 10: that are being hurt, vehicles being damaged, things being burned,
- 10:27Speaker 10: and they're calling it peaceful. It is a disgusting display
- 10:31Speaker 10: of partisan politics. I wish they would all just put
- 10:34Speaker 10: their phones down, be quiet, and let law enforcement handle
- 10:38Speaker 10: this how it should be handled, which is the complete
- 10:41Speaker 10: enforcement of law and holding criminals accountable. It's rocks, bottles, tools,
- 10:47Speaker 10: weapons being thrown at us. You watched multiple vehicles destroyed
- 10:53Speaker 10: yesterday by bricks. There are people hauling bricks into the
- 10:57Speaker 10: zone and then dropping them off, leaving there weapon leaving
- 11:01Speaker 10: them there for weapons, and then our deputies and our
- 11:04Speaker 10: police officers are they're being used against us, and we're
- 11:07Speaker 10: being hit with bottles. We're being hit with with glass bottles,
- 11:11Speaker 10: with tools, with rocks, with bricks. This is not a
- 11:14Speaker 10: peaceful protest. It isn't even a protest anymore. It is
- 11:17Speaker 10: a violent riot, and if they are going to try
- 11:20Speaker 10: and do harm, then it is the responsibility of law
- 11:23Speaker 10: enforcement to win that confrontation and all of them need
- 11:28Speaker 10: to go to jail. We know that gunfire has been reported,
- 11:33Speaker 10: we have a I know that there is a report
- 11:35Speaker 10: of an officer being shot already. I'm not sure of
- 11:37Speaker 10: the circumstances, so I don't know if it was a
- 11:40Speaker 10: if it was pertaining to what is going on, or
- 11:42Speaker 10: if it was involving something in the peripheral.
- 11:44Speaker 7: I don't know. It's quite quite frankly, it's irrelevant.
- 11:49Speaker 10: We are responsible for keeping people in property safe, and
- 11:52Speaker 10: when people come and attack us, then we need to
- 11:55Speaker 10: make sure that they're held accountable. They are trying to
- 11:58Speaker 10: violently influence something political action. That is what this is,
- 12:02Speaker 10: That is what everything that the Constitution stands against.
- 12:06Speaker 7: That is what law enforcement stands against, and that is.
- 12:08Speaker 10: What will that is what will facilitate the downfall of
- 12:12Speaker 10: our civilized society.
- 12:13Speaker 7: A civilized society has.
- 12:15Speaker 10: An adherence to the rule of law and there is
- 12:17Speaker 10: consequence for breaking that social compact. And when politicians encourage
- 12:22Speaker 10: this behavior, which that's exactly what they are doing, is
- 12:25Speaker 10: encouraging this behavior, encouraging people to come out and participate
- 12:29Speaker 10: in these riots. And they lie to us and say
- 12:33Speaker 10: that they're encouraging a peaceful protest.
- 12:35Speaker 7: No they're not.
- 12:35Speaker 10: They know exactly what they're doing. This is far beyond
- 12:38Speaker 10: peaceful protest. This is now a political action and they
- 12:42Speaker 10: are using violence and the threats of violence in order
- 12:45Speaker 10: to get their way, and we absolutely must stop this
- 12:50Speaker 10: into the ground and stop it from happening. Chief of
- 12:53Speaker 10: police from the largest police agency in the country said
- 12:56Speaker 10: that they are being overwhelmed.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Governor Knews's needs.
- 12:59Speaker 10: To put his down, go sit in his house behind
- 13:02Speaker 10: the comfort of his TV screen and a couch and
- 13:05Speaker 10: be quiet because he is doing nothing but fueling this process.
- 13:09Speaker 10: He needs to stay out of the way of law enforcement.
- 13:11Speaker 10: He knows nothing about this. He knows absolutely nothing about
- 13:15Speaker 10: the enforcement of law. He despises the enforcement of law,
- 13:19Speaker 10: and he has encouraged this. He has enabled this lawless
- 13:26Speaker 10: act that is going on right now. This has been
- 13:29Speaker 10: years in the making that he has encouraged. So quite frankly,
- 13:32Speaker 10: I don't care what he says. He says everything in
- 13:35Speaker 10: a disingenuous manner for his own personal political gain, and
- 13:39Speaker 10: we are suffering the consequences.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more.
- 13:45Speaker 2: But it's also goes back to the narrative that the
- 13:48Speaker 2: left has put out there that there's no help needed,
- 13:50Speaker 2: Everything's fine. This is all somehow Donald Trump's fault because
- 13:54Speaker 2: he's sent in Ice, because he's sent in the National Guard.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And yet we are seeing this gruh not just in
- 14:01Speaker 2: la as we speak, but also all over the country.
- 14:05Speaker 3: You know, Look, that sheriff you just listened to is
- 14:07Speaker 3: running for governor in California as a Republican.
- 14:11Speaker 11: Uh.
- 14:11Speaker 3: And sadly, I think the people of California they have
- 14:14Speaker 3: demonstrated over and over again they doubled down on these
- 14:17Speaker 3: lawless democrats and and tragically they pay the price. I
- 14:21Speaker 3: want you to listen to to Maxine Waters, who who
- 14:24Speaker 3: actually she may formerly be the mayor of crazy Town,
- 14:28Speaker 3: but but just listen. Listen to her talking about claiming,
- 14:31Speaker 3: claiming there's no violence, give a listen.
- 14:33Speaker 8: Test and even those who were out of step with
- 14:37Speaker 8: what we are advocating peaceful protest did not create any violence.
- 14:42Speaker 8: Nobody was shot, nobody was killed.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Get it in your head.
- 14:46Speaker 8: And so when martial law is called, what are you
- 14:49Speaker 8: gonna say, I missed the pont.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Don't miss the pont.
- 14:52Speaker 8: You all don't think that somehow because they called out
- 14:56Speaker 8: the National Guard there was violence.
- 14:58Speaker 4: There was no violence.
- 15:00Speaker 8: I was on the street, I know, and I went
- 15:02Speaker 8: from downtown detention back out into the community talking to people.
- 15:07Speaker 8: What happened in Paramount, what happened in Compton, what happened
- 15:10Speaker 8: in Inglewood. So first of all, get it straight and
- 15:15Speaker 8: don't just rely on what you've been told. Are the
- 15:18Speaker 8: few incidents that you saw.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I mean, don't rely on what you saw. Don't believe
- 15:23Speaker 3: your your lying eyes. The police cars that are on fire,
- 15:28Speaker 3: those are not. These are not the droids you're looking for.
- 15:30Speaker 3: These are not. These are not the fires, the looting,
- 15:32Speaker 3: the stores rob Nope, doesn't matter. Just and and by
- 15:36Speaker 3: the way, Maxine Waters is not alone. I want you
- 15:39Speaker 3: to listen now to Karen bass who's going to claim
- 15:43Speaker 3: are spoiler alert, who do you think is responsible for
- 15:46Speaker 3: the riots? Of course, big Trump bingo boy. It's almost
- 15:51Speaker 3: like you've heard the Democrat talking points.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Listen to it. It's incredible. Here she is, we.
- 15:59Speaker 11: Need to stop the raids. There should should not be
- 16:03Speaker 11: happening in our city. It is not warranted, and it
- 16:06Speaker 11: does any The only thing it does is contribute to chaos.
- 16:10Speaker 11: This was chaos that was started in Washington, d C.
- 16:14Speaker 11: On Thursday.
- 16:15Speaker 4: The city was peaceful on Friday.
- 16:18Speaker 11: It was not because of the intervention of the federal government.
- 16:23Speaker 2: It's it's it's law enforcement's fault that we have anarchy,
- 16:27Speaker 2: said no same person.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Ever, So, comrade bass Is is unhappy that the federal
- 16:34Speaker 3: government is enforcing federal immigration law. And she does not
- 16:39Speaker 3: want illegal immigrants arrested, and and and and she says, well,
- 16:44Speaker 3: you know, if you arrest illegal immigrants, if you remove
- 16:47Speaker 3: them that then then it's your fault the rioting. You know,
- 16:50Speaker 3: you should understand that that we're going to have violent rioting.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Uh if you remove illegal immigrants. And and I want
- 16:58Speaker 3: to give you an example of some of the people
- 17:01Speaker 3: who are being removed. So DHS put out a list
- 17:07Speaker 3: of some of the illegal immigrants, some of the violent
- 17:10Speaker 3: illegal immigrants who are being removed. One of them was
- 17:14Speaker 3: Chong Chan Fan. Chung Chan Fan is a forty nine
- 17:17Speaker 3: year old Vietnamese national. He was previously convicted of second
- 17:21Speaker 3: degree murder. He was sentenced to serve fifteen years to
- 17:24Speaker 3: life in prison after he and his gang member associates
- 17:28Speaker 3: were asked to leave a high school graduation party in
- 17:30Speaker 3: nineteen ninety four following a dispute, and then they returned
- 17:34Speaker 3: with semi automatic weapons which they fired into a crowd
- 17:37Speaker 3: of about thirty partygoers. Dennis Brown eighteen of South Pasadena
- 17:41Speaker 3: and David Hang fifteen of San Marino, California were killed
- 17:45Speaker 3: and seven others were wounded. Then this is what DHS said, quote,
- 17:50Speaker 3: this criminal illegal alien is who Governor Newsom, Mayor Bass
- 17:54Speaker 3: and the rioters in Los Angeles are trying to protect
- 17:58Speaker 3: over US citizens. Who else did ice arrest? I also
- 18:02Speaker 3: criminally arrested Cielo Vivar Ubaldo, who was a previously deported
- 18:08Speaker 3: Mexican national who was convicted for sex with a minor,
- 18:13Speaker 3: narcotics violations, and a hit and run. He faces deportation.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Another person that was arrested was Jose Cristobal Hernandez Buytran,
- 18:23Speaker 3: forty three years old, of Peru. He was previously convicted
- 18:26Speaker 3: of robbery and sentenced to serve ten years in prison.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Another one arrested Julian Riveros Karavid, a Colombian national who
- 18:36Speaker 3: was arrested on administrative immigration violations. He has prior arrests
- 18:41Speaker 3: on charges of domestic battery, child endangerment, assault with a
- 18:45Speaker 3: deadly weapon, grand theft, and narcotics violations. They also arrested
- 18:51Speaker 3: Chrisida Tui. Chrisidatui is a forty eight year old Indonesian
- 18:55Speaker 3: national previously convicted on narcotics d UI an illegal entry charges.
- 19:01Speaker 3: They also arrested Rolando venoraschon Enriquez, a fifty five year
- 19:06Speaker 3: old Filipino illegal immigrant whose criminal history includes theft, assault, burglary,
- 19:14Speaker 3: and sexual penetration with a foreign object with force and
- 19:17Speaker 3: assault with intent to commit rape in Pomona, California, which
- 19:21Speaker 3: carries a thirty seven year prison sentence. Another one Honduran
- 19:26Speaker 3: national Jordan Mauricio Mezza escuap Escubell, thirty two years old.
- 19:32Speaker 3: His criminal history includes convictions on charges of domestic violence
- 19:36Speaker 3: as well as heroin and cocaine distribution. Another one arrested,
- 19:40Speaker 3: Jesus Alan Hernandez Morales, a twenty six year old Mexican
- 19:44Speaker 3: illegal immigrant previously convicted of conspiracy to transport an illegal
- 19:49Speaker 3: alien in Las Cruces, Mexico, and he received a two
- 19:52Speaker 3: hundred and thirty nine day sentence. Another one, Delfino Aguilar Martinez,
- 19:58Speaker 3: fifty one year old illegal immigrant from Mexican co accused
- 20:01Speaker 3: of assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury
- 20:07Speaker 3: in Los Angeles, sentenced to serve one year in prison.
- 20:10Speaker 3: On top of that, Victor Mendoza Aguilar, a thirty two
- 20:13Speaker 3: year old Mexican national, previously convicted of possessing unlawful paraphernalia,
- 20:18Speaker 3: possessing controlled substances, assault with a deadly weapon not firearm,
- 20:22Speaker 3: and obstructing a public officer in Pasadena. And they're more
- 20:26Speaker 3: and more and more. I could keep reading names. These
- 20:29Speaker 3: are violent criminals, and so what Karen Basswood the Democrats
- 20:32Speaker 3: are saying is if the federal government arrest arrests violent
- 20:36Speaker 3: criminals who are a threat to your family, to your community,
- 20:41Speaker 3: then it's the federal government's fault for the rioting and
- 20:45Speaker 3: looting and criminality. This is today's Democratic.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Par Queer Center.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Let's be clear, none of what you said can be true,
- 20:53Speaker 2: because I have a montage of the media is saying
- 20:55Speaker 2: that what you just described is a lie.
- 20:58Speaker 1: It's not right.
- 21:00Speaker 2: It's not looting, it's not burning of police cars.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Here's the media saying you're just wrong.
- 21:06Speaker 9: The La County Police say that they have it under control.
- 21:11Speaker 9: Pairing a flag is not illegal. As you know, what
- 21:15Speaker 9: did happen in nineteen ninety two was so different from
- 21:18Speaker 9: what we're seeing now. I mean that that was a
- 21:22Speaker 9: real riot.
- 21:23Speaker 12: Video after video has shown that these agents are the
- 21:27Speaker 12: ones provoking protesters and also making up aggression by these protesters,
- 21:35Speaker 12: and later video shows people were not aggressive.
- 21:38Speaker 13: We are having an administration that's targeting peaceful protests, people
- 21:42Speaker 13: that are there at protests. The president is sitting in
- 21:45Speaker 13: the National Guard because he doesn't like the scenes. He
- 21:47Speaker 13: doesn't like the scenes of people peacefully protesting.
- 21:50Speaker 7: Unrest is isolated.
- 21:52Speaker 12: LA has palmed millions of people, most of them are
- 21:54Speaker 12: having a normal day here on Sunday.
- 21:56Speaker 13: You know, you've heard reports that there are riots on
- 21:58Speaker 13: the streets of Los Angeles.
- 22:00Speaker 1: That is not what's happening.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Across the city of Los Angeles.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Covenation's right.
- 22:03Speaker 12: There was anything like a riot happening on Friday Saturday, and.
- 22:06Speaker 9: We just witnessed protesters thanking a National guardsman for his service.
- 22:11Speaker 12: Here in California, lapd By most estimates, had this under
- 22:16Speaker 12: control last night.
- 22:17Speaker 4: No, I don't think the National Guard is needed now.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Things in La are calm.
- 22:22Speaker 11: There was a protest that got a little unruly late
- 22:25Speaker 11: at night.
- 22:26Speaker 8: There been no violence where anybody that was protesting hit anybody,
- 22:32Speaker 8: shot anybody, anybody nothing.
- 22:36Speaker 5: What is just a bunch of people having fun watching
- 22:39Speaker 5: cars burn.
- 22:40Speaker 11: Most of those demonstrators were very peaceful.
- 22:43Speaker 8: They were chanting, they were shotting, people were driving by
- 22:45Speaker 8: plonking their horns.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I mean, that's just normal life out there.
- 22:49Speaker 8: You know.
- 22:49Speaker 3: They were just having fun watching cars burn. You know,
- 22:52Speaker 3: you know that's just that's just good old fashion entertainment.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Like get out your popcorn, you know, light some police
- 22:58Speaker 3: cars on fire.
- 22:59Speaker 2: You know, DC next time you and I are just
- 23:02Speaker 2: hanging out, you know, we should just maybe just I
- 23:05Speaker 2: don't know, find a car and just set on fire
- 23:07Speaker 2: and watch it burn.
- 23:08Speaker 1: We're not doing the illegal. Everything's fine.
- 23:11Speaker 3: So to to give you a sense of just how
- 23:15Speaker 3: how much propaganda the media is desperately trying to spend.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I'm gonna read you four headlines. All right, So this
- 23:21Speaker 3: is a headline from the New York Times quote, the
- 23:24Speaker 3: Mexican flag becomes a potent LA protest symbol. Trump officials
- 23:29Speaker 3: of cast demonstrators waving the Mexican flag as insurrectionists. But
- 23:34Speaker 3: for many protesters who are Mexican American, the flag represents
- 23:37Speaker 3: pride in their heritage. Now, mind you, they're waving the
- 23:41Speaker 3: flag saying, Dear God, whatever you do, do not send
- 23:44Speaker 3: me back to Mexico. That is their message. But apparently
- 23:47Speaker 3: it's pride in their heritage. Simultaneously, here's CNN quote, Trump
- 23:52Speaker 3: is acting like an authoritarian. California's crisis now rests on
- 23:57Speaker 3: what he does next. That's CNN nice an objective, all right.
- 24:01Speaker 3: How about the Washington Post quote, He's waging a war
- 24:06Speaker 3: on us as Trump escalates Angelino's defend their city across
- 24:13Speaker 3: this vast metropolis, residents denounce what they consider an attack
- 24:17Speaker 3: on the very fabric of their city, on their neighbors, coworkers,
- 24:21Speaker 3: family members. That's the Washington Post. And finally NPR NPR,
- 24:25Speaker 3: which by the way you and I are paying for
- 24:27Speaker 3: every one of us who listens is paying for it
- 24:29Speaker 3: through our tax dollars. Here's what NPR says. Quote Trump
- 24:33Speaker 3: using National Guard in la is an abusive power, says
- 24:37Speaker 3: national security expert. That's the media, well, and with the
- 24:43Speaker 3: media doing everything they can to deny the truth, to lie,
- 24:46Speaker 3: to obfuscate, to pretend that this is all peaceful, that
- 24:50Speaker 3: there's no violence, never mind the violence that is unfolding
- 24:53Speaker 3: in front of our eyes. You know, Maxine Waters said,
- 24:56Speaker 3: don't believe your lying eyes. I'm telling you there's no violence.
- 24:59Speaker 3: What is Gavin Newso doing? Is he protecting the people
- 25:01Speaker 3: of California. No, Instead, he's suing President Trump to stop
- 25:07Speaker 3: the President from protecting the people of California. Gavin Newsom
- 25:11Speaker 3: tweeted out quote, I have formally requested the Trump administration
- 25:15Speaker 3: rescind their unlawful deployment of troops in Los Angeles County
- 25:19Speaker 3: and return them to my command. We didn't have a
- 25:22Speaker 3: problem until Trump got involved. This is a serious breach
- 25:26Speaker 3: of state sovereignty and flaming tensions while pulling resources from
- 25:29Speaker 3: where they're actually needed. Rescind the order return control to California.
- 25:36Speaker 3: So Gavin Newsom is not upset that illegal immigrants have
- 25:43Speaker 3: flooded into this country for the last four years across
- 25:45Speaker 3: open borders. He's not upset that murderers, murderers and rapists
- 25:49Speaker 3: and child molesters and gangbangers have been released. He's not
- 25:52Speaker 3: upset that that Californians are being murdered, are being violently
- 25:56Speaker 3: assaulted by illegal immigrants. None of that dismays him. He's
- 25:59Speaker 3: not upset set at the looting. He's not standing with
- 26:01Speaker 3: the poor small business owners and shop owners whose stores
- 26:04Speaker 3: were destroyed by the violent crime. None of that upsets him. Instead,
- 26:09Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom's problem is damn at. Number one, Trump is
- 26:12Speaker 3: arresting illegals, and where are the Democrats? Where the party
- 26:15Speaker 3: of illegals? And number two, even worse, Trump is sending
- 26:20Speaker 3: in federal officers, sending in the National Guard to keep
- 26:24Speaker 3: communities safe, to protect families, to protect homes. That is
- 26:29Speaker 3: unacceptable because if there's one thing the Democrats stand for
- 26:32Speaker 3: beyond illegal immigrations and crime, it is preventing the police
- 26:37Speaker 3: from doing their job, preventing them from keeping you safe.
- 26:40Speaker 3: I think that really sums up the lunacy of where
- 26:45Speaker 3: the Left is today.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Final question on this one. I don't think there's any
- 26:51Speaker 2: near end in sight. I think this is going to
- 26:53Speaker 2: continue to grow.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Do you agree?
- 26:56Speaker 3: I do. And let me say we started by saying
- 26:59Speaker 3: this one where we predicted that this spreads nationally, that
- 27:03Speaker 3: we see these protests in these riots and cities across
- 27:06Speaker 3: the country, and I think we need to follow the money.
- 27:09Speaker 3: And that's certainly what I am urging the President, urging
- 27:11Speaker 3: the Department of Justice to do, is follow the money
- 27:13Speaker 3: and anyone who is funding this. This is just like
- 27:16Speaker 3: the anti Semitic protests on college campuses. By the way,
- 27:19Speaker 3: I suspect it's the same people who funded the anti
- 27:22Speaker 3: Semitic protests, who funded the ANTIFA in Black Lives Matter riots.
- 27:28Speaker 3: It is the same radicals who hate America. Many of
- 27:33Speaker 3: them are openly Marxist. Black Lives Matter is openly Marxist.
- 27:37Speaker 3: They're rabidly anti Israel, They're rabidly anti capitalism, they're rabidly
- 27:41Speaker 3: anti police, they're rabidly anti law and order. They're rapidly
- 27:45Speaker 3: pro criminal, they're rapidly pro violence. But we need to
- 27:49Speaker 3: follow the money and prosecute anyone who is funding riots
- 27:53Speaker 3: across this country. And I hope that's exactly what the
- 27:56Speaker 3: Trump administration does.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt about it.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Before we I got to just hit pause, and you
- 28:02Speaker 2: got a really cool letter from a kid. This inspires me,
- 28:08Speaker 2: It makes me happy. It reminds me when I got
- 28:10Speaker 2: into radio when I was twelve years old. And I
- 28:12Speaker 2: want you to just tell us about this letter, and
- 28:15Speaker 2: I want to read it for everybody listens a verdict.
- 28:17Speaker 1: It's awesome.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Well, listen, I had a member of my staff who
- 28:20Speaker 3: was down in Texas this past week and was at
- 28:24Speaker 3: Fort Cavazos, which actually just got renamed back to Fort
- 28:27Speaker 3: Hood and so. And he was there at Fort Cavazos
- 28:32Speaker 3: and there was a major who's stationed stationed there who
- 28:35Speaker 3: gave him a letter and gave him a letter. It
- 28:38Speaker 3: was a letter from from his ten year old son.
- 28:41Speaker 3: And I'm going to read it. I'm not going to
- 28:43Speaker 3: give you his last name, but but I'm gonna I'm
- 28:45Speaker 3: gonna read the letter that that I was handed today.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Dear Senator Cruz. My name is Justin and I am
- 28:53Speaker 3: a student at Hill Country Christian School of Austin. And
- 28:56Speaker 3: I am pro god, pro life, and pro gun Republican
- 29:00Speaker 3: who loves America Jesus and politics. I want to write
- 29:04Speaker 3: to you to say thank you for everything you have
- 29:06Speaker 3: done for Texas in America. There's a paragraph that's really
- 29:11Speaker 3: nice in praising me, which I'm going to skip because
- 29:14Speaker 3: that seems a little self centered to read a paragraph
- 29:17Speaker 3: praising me. But here's the paragraph I want. I wanted
- 29:19Speaker 3: every Verdict listener to hear. I listen to your podcast
- 29:25Speaker 3: Verdict every week. I have learned so much from you
- 29:30Speaker 3: about how government works and all the things you are
- 29:33Speaker 3: doing to stop the radical left agenda and help President
- 29:36Speaker 3: Trump pass the America First agenda. You have helped me
- 29:41Speaker 3: to want to be a politician when I'm older. Thank
- 29:44Speaker 3: you for everything you do. Sincerely, Justin h Ten.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I love it. This is exactly what I love doing
- 29:50Speaker 1: this show.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I hope you let your kids listen, your grandkids, and
- 29:54Speaker 2: what a cool Justin thanks for listening.
- 29:56Speaker 1: What an awesome letter.
- 29:57Speaker 2: It's just fun to see that and to hear that,
- 30:00Speaker 2: and to know that there are people that are listening
- 30:01Speaker 2: and make a difference it.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Don't forget.
- 30:03Speaker 3: And by the way, and by the way, and and
- 30:04Speaker 3: by the way, I'll give you a little bit of color.
- 30:07Speaker 3: When we were initially doing the show. We were going
- 30:09Speaker 3: to play two additional clips of the riots, uh and
- 30:12Speaker 3: and their there live audio, but but they're live audio.
- 30:15Speaker 3: That that that featured people in the riots screaming and
- 30:18Speaker 3: they had several expletives and and and we actually recorded
- 30:21Speaker 3: that segment and then I said, Ben, let's delete those.
- 30:24Speaker 3: We don't really need to be playing expletives for our listeners,
- 30:26Speaker 3: particularly when we have a young young man like justin listening.
- 30:30Speaker 3: We can just skip over that.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Part am into that, don't forget. We do is show Monday,
- 30:34Speaker 2: Wednesday and Friday. So hit that subscribe or auto download
- 30:38Speaker 2: button wherever you get your podcasts uh to make sure
- 30:42Speaker 2: you do that, and the center and I will see
- 30:44Speaker 2: you back here in a couple of days
