- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you, and we have got a lot to talk
- 0:06Speaker 1: about today, Senator, and I want to give a roadmap
- 0:08Speaker 1: for people because there's so much news happening. First off,
- 0:11Speaker 1: a big victory, and we're gonna get to this. First,
- 0:14Speaker 1: dealing with a nomination someone from the Biden administration that's
- 0:18Speaker 1: actually been pulled. You're going to give that update. Plus
- 0:21Speaker 1: what's going on in Mexico with the four Americans that
- 0:23Speaker 1: we're taking hostage. Two of them have died. We also
- 0:27Speaker 1: have another issue with Fauci emails. And finally January the six, Senator,
- 0:32Speaker 1: let's start with this big information, big news of victory
- 0:36Speaker 1: of the fact that President Biden's nomination of Gigi Son
- 0:40Speaker 1: to serve as a commissioner of the US Federal Communications
- 0:44Speaker 1: Commissioners the FCC has been pulled. How did we get there?
- 0:48Speaker 1: I know that something you talked about on this show
- 0:50Speaker 1: early on, and we're leading the way saying she was
- 0:53Speaker 1: not qualified. Well, this is a huge victory. So Joe
- 0:57Speaker 1: Biden had nominated Gigi Son be a commissioner of the FCC,
- 1:02Speaker 1: the Federal Communications Commission and many believe that Biden intended
- 1:07Speaker 1: to name her the chairman of the Commission if she
- 1:10Speaker 1: had been confirmed. Ggsone has been a left wing activist
- 1:14Speaker 1: her entire life. She is a hardcore activist. She had
- 1:21Speaker 1: repeatedly denounced Fox News as an enemy to democracy, as
- 1:26Speaker 1: a threat to democracy. She had demonstrated a willingness to
- 1:31Speaker 1: use the powers of the SEC to deny licenses and
- 1:35Speaker 1: to otherwise used government power to silence conservative voices. And
- 1:40Speaker 1: she had a remarkable pattern of just being a partisan activist. So,
- 1:46Speaker 1: for example, there was a group called Fighting for a
- 1:49Speaker 1: Future that gigsone had supported for years, and every year
- 1:55Speaker 1: she sent out tweets fundraising for Fighting for a Future.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Now GGE did this even though the group Fighting for
- 2:04Speaker 1: Our Future had a long standing practice of attacking multiple
- 2:09Speaker 1: Senators and multiple Senators on the Commerce Committee. If you're
- 2:11Speaker 1: nominated on the SEC, it's the Commerce Committee that has
- 2:14Speaker 1: to confirm you. So Fighting for a Future had put
- 2:18Speaker 1: out billboards attacking Senator Marsha Blackburn is on the Commerce
- 2:22Speaker 1: Committee with me. They'd put out billboards attacking Senator Dan
- 2:26Speaker 1: Sullivan is on the Commerce Commitment Committee with me. They
- 2:29Speaker 1: had attacked Roger Wicker, who's the former chairman, forming ranking
- 2:33Speaker 1: member of the Commerce Committee. But interestingly enough, Ben, they
- 2:37Speaker 1: hadn't just attacked Republicans, They'd attacked a bunch of Democrats.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So they'd put up billboards saying John Tester, the Democrats
- 2:44Speaker 1: Senator from Montana, is corrupt. They'd put up billboards saying
- 2:48Speaker 1: Gary Peters, the Democrats Senator from Michigan, is corrupt. They'd
- 2:53Speaker 1: put up billboards saying Kirsten Cinema, the Democrats Senator from Arizona,
- 2:58Speaker 1: is corrupt. And I'm Amazingly enough, this group also sent
- 3:03Speaker 1: a letter to Chuck Schumer in December of last year,
- 3:08Speaker 1: urging Schumer to fire Maria kent Well, the Democrat is
- 3:12Speaker 1: the chairman of the committee, because the committee had yet
- 3:16Speaker 1: confirmed gigisone, And after all of these solicitations, every year
- 3:22Speaker 1: gisone would ask for people to contribute and support this,
- 3:29Speaker 1: and so gisone had three different confirmation hearings, the most
- 3:34Speaker 1: recent one a couple of weeks ago. I'm the ranking
- 3:36Speaker 1: member of the Commerce Committee. I led the fight against him.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I walked her through each of these. I said, look,
- 3:41Speaker 1: do you believe John Tester is corrupt? She says no,
- 3:44Speaker 1: Do you believe Gary Peters is corrupt, she says no.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Do you believe Kirsten Cinema's corrupt? She says no. Did
- 3:52Speaker 1: you know this group was putting up these billboards and
- 3:54Speaker 1: attacking these senators? And she said, well, I knew about
- 3:58Speaker 1: the billboard attacking Cinema And I said no. Did you
- 4:02Speaker 1: raise money for her for them after that? And she said, oh, yeah,
- 4:05Speaker 1: completely unapologetically. I laughed. I said, look, I don't know
- 4:09Speaker 1: in ten years in the Senate that I've ever seen
- 4:11Speaker 1: a nominee who supports a group that attacks half the
- 4:15Speaker 1: senators on the committee that are supposed to confirm her.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It was remarkable. Now, I'll tell you a funny epilogue
- 4:23Speaker 1: to this. I said it the hearing. I said, listen,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm kind of offended, like this group is attacked half
- 4:31Speaker 1: the senators here, but they haven't attacked me. Like, what
- 4:34Speaker 1: do I have to do to get this left wing
- 4:36Speaker 1: group mad at me? I would have thought I have
- 4:38Speaker 1: done sufficient to attract their ire, and I'm feeling kind
- 4:44Speaker 1: of neglected here. Now. This group they heard what I said,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and I guess it prompted them to action. So they
- 4:52Speaker 1: launched online a crowdfunding effort to raise money to put
- 4:57Speaker 1: up a billboard attacking me. It's so it's the billboard
- 4:59Speaker 1: as a picture of me, and it has a website,
- 5:03Speaker 1: Ted Cruz Hates free Speech dot com. I'm sorry, I
- 5:09Speaker 1: was not expecting that to be the name of the website,
- 5:12Speaker 1: but go ahead. So set aside that if there's I
- 5:15Speaker 1: don't know that there's anything I love more than free speech. Yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 1: other than God, my family in America. But free speech
- 5:23Speaker 1: is intimately intertwined with that. But here's the part that's beautiful. Bad.
- 5:29Speaker 1: This left wing group, they're really partisan, but they're not
- 5:32Speaker 1: very good. So they didn't actually buy the website. So
- 5:39Speaker 1: the billboard that they were crowdfunding to raise the website
- 5:43Speaker 1: was still available. So I bought it, and so I
- 5:46Speaker 1: now owned the website Ted Cruz Hates Freespeech dot com.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And I promptly turned it into a campaign fundraising website,
- 5:54Speaker 1: and I tweeted out said, hey, I really appreciate you
- 5:56Speaker 1: guys putting this billboard up and urging people to go
- 5:59Speaker 1: to this website to contribute to my senate real life.
- 6:01Speaker 1: That's just an amazing thing. Any the best investment you've
- 6:05Speaker 1: ever made in any website, every you may have missed
- 6:09Speaker 1: the investment window on some of the big stuff, but
- 6:11Speaker 1: at least you got that website. It was really so
- 6:16Speaker 1: her record is extreme. It was she is a partisan advocate,
- 6:22Speaker 1: and Biden was giving in to the radical left by
- 6:26Speaker 1: trying to name her to the FCC because I believe
- 6:29Speaker 1: he wanted to use government power to silence conservative voters,
- 6:34Speaker 1: to attack Fox News, to attack conservative outlets, and to
- 6:39Speaker 1: advance an extreme partisan agenda. In the Commerce Committee, we
- 6:46Speaker 1: managed to hold all the Republicans together and multiple Democrats
- 6:51Speaker 1: expressed skepticism. Well, today mid day, Joe Mansion put out
- 6:56Speaker 1: a statement saying he was a no. He was voting no,
- 7:00Speaker 1: and about an hour later we got a formal announcement
- 7:04Speaker 1: that Gigsone was withdrawing her nomination. The White House was
- 7:09Speaker 1: withdrawing her nomination. Now I'll tell you I was actually
- 7:11Speaker 1: sitting at lunch with my colleagues. All the Republican senators
- 7:15Speaker 1: have lunch together every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. So I
- 7:17Speaker 1: was sitting at lunch at one fifty pm. The lunch
- 7:21Speaker 1: typically runs from twelve thirty to two pm. At like
- 7:24Speaker 1: one fifty pm, my staff director sends me a text
- 7:27Speaker 1: and says, hey, We're hearing lots of rumors in town
- 7:29Speaker 1: that Gigison is going to withdraw. And I'm like, okay, great,
- 7:33Speaker 1: how we're liable? Are these rumors? Are they real? And
- 7:36Speaker 1: he's like, well, it's kind of the lobby crew in town,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but most of their rumors have been pretty accurate on this,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and so I'm like, well, try to nail this down.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I want to know for sure. And then at about
- 7:46Speaker 1: one fifty seven, so about three minutes before the lunch
- 7:49Speaker 1: is over, my guys send me a text of the
- 7:53Speaker 1: media stories that had just broken saying the White House
- 7:56Speaker 1: had withdrawn her nomination. So I stood up at lunch.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It was the very end of lunch and I said, hey,
- 8:01Speaker 1: just wanted everyone to let you know the news just
- 8:03Speaker 1: broke about two minutes ago the White House is withdrawn
- 8:07Speaker 1: gig sons nomination. I'll tell you, the entire Republican conference
- 8:12Speaker 1: broke out an applause, and that's awesome, and I really
- 8:15Speaker 1: I gave a testament to all of the Republicans on
- 8:18Speaker 1: the Commerce Committee, who state united, who state focused? You know,
- 8:21Speaker 1: in my new role as ranking member, we tried very
- 8:24Speaker 1: hard to work with each of their teams to help
- 8:27Speaker 1: each of the members focus on a different aspect of
- 8:29Speaker 1: her record, but it was a comprehensive effort to make
- 8:35Speaker 1: clear she is not forced someone on an independent agency
- 8:39Speaker 1: like the FCC. You want someone fair, you want someone impartial,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you want someone who will respect free speech. This was
- 8:46Speaker 1: a nominee who was not and as of today, this
- 8:50Speaker 1: nomination has been defeated. It's a success story coming out
- 8:54Speaker 1: of Washington that we wanted to make sure people knew
- 8:57Speaker 1: about because this is what happens when people expose these
- 9:01Speaker 1: individuals and let everybody know. And this podcast played a
- 9:05Speaker 1: pivotal role in exposing who this nominee was and why
- 9:09Speaker 1: they were not qualified. And this is a victory we
- 9:11Speaker 1: should all enjoy. On the important thing. Ben also to underscore, look,
- 9:15Speaker 1: we beat her in a Democrats Senate, which means if
- 9:19Speaker 1: it were just a party line vote, if it were
- 9:22Speaker 1: just all the d's vote yes, all the RS vote no,
- 9:24Speaker 1: she would have been confirmed. So to beat her, we
- 9:28Speaker 1: held all the rs together, but we also picked off
- 9:31Speaker 1: several d's and actually, from what I'm hearing, there may
- 9:34Speaker 1: have been as many as four or five six Democrats
- 9:37Speaker 1: who were going to vote no, and so that was
- 9:40Speaker 1: really a big victory because I gotta tell you, Democrats
- 9:44Speaker 1: senators have been willing to vote for some of the
- 9:46Speaker 1: most extreme nominees I've ever seen, so to actually flip
- 9:50Speaker 1: them was a great victory for free speech today. Yeah,
- 9:55Speaker 1: no doubt about it. It It was awesome. I want to
- 9:56Speaker 1: get to this other issue, and there was a shocking
- 9:59Speaker 1: issue of four Americans that were taken hostage in Mexico.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Before we get into that story, though, I want to
- 10:05Speaker 1: tell you about our friends at Chalk and Now you
- 10:07Speaker 1: know how much the left hates real men, men that
- 10:11Speaker 1: are masculine, and if you are getting older and you're
- 10:14Speaker 1: losing a little bit of that edge, then you need
- 10:16Speaker 1: to know about Chalkhoq. What do they do. They're here
- 10:20Speaker 1: here to help real American men maximize their masculine masculinity
- 10:24Speaker 1: by boosting testosterone levels up to twenty percent over ninety days. Now,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm taking the Chalk Mail Vitality Stack. I can tell
- 10:34Speaker 1: you it works. I've been using it now for what
- 10:36Speaker 1: three and a half four weeks, and you tube can
- 10:39Speaker 1: maximize your masculinity, get those testosterone levels back up. That'll
- 10:43Speaker 1: irritate the Left. I can promise you that. All you
- 10:45Speaker 1: gotta do is go to chalkcoq dot com, use the
- 10:49Speaker 1: promo code Ben and you'll get thirty five percent off
- 10:52Speaker 1: any Chalk subscription for lifehoq dot com promo code Ben
- 10:58Speaker 1: for thirty five percent offhoq dot com center. There was
- 11:02Speaker 1: a story that was really a shocking story. It also
- 11:05Speaker 1: came along with video, and that video showed four Americans
- 11:10Speaker 1: who had traveled into Mexico, right across the border with Texas,
- 11:15Speaker 1: going into Mexico. They were then ambushed. Two of them died.
- 11:20Speaker 1: They were taken and thrown into the back of a
- 11:22Speaker 1: white pickup truck. We saw this. The most shocking part
- 11:26Speaker 1: for me was not that the cartels did this, It
- 11:29Speaker 1: was the fact that the President United States of America
- 11:31Speaker 1: had nothing to say about it when these at that
- 11:34Speaker 1: point we didn't know if anyone had actually been killed
- 11:37Speaker 1: yet of these Americans, and the White House was asked
- 11:41Speaker 1: about what is the President doing and saying? And the
- 11:44Speaker 1: White House Press secretary all she had to offer the
- 11:46Speaker 1: American people and these hostages was this thank you. I
- 11:50Speaker 1: went on Mexico. I can tell you the President is
- 12:02Speaker 1: aware and has been informed. That's it. You're an American,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you're held hostage in Mexico. You're asked about it, and
- 12:09Speaker 1: the White House says he has been informed. Senator, he
- 12:12Speaker 1: is aware. That is all he had to say about this.
- 12:16Speaker 1: And now we found out two of the four are dead.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Your reaction, look, Ben, I really wish we had a
- 12:21Speaker 1: commander in chief. That reaction is pitiful. Anyone who kills
- 12:27Speaker 1: an American citizen should face serious consequences, should be held
- 12:31Speaker 1: to account. And the President was a wall. You had
- 12:36Speaker 1: four Americans. The story as we know it right now.
- 12:39Speaker 1: More facts may come out, but as we know it
- 12:41Speaker 1: right now, four Americans from South Carolina who traveled down
- 12:44Speaker 1: to Mexico so that one of them, a woman, could
- 12:47Speaker 1: get a medical procedure at Tummy Tuck. They drove down
- 12:50Speaker 1: there in a rental car. And what's been being reported
- 12:54Speaker 1: right now is the Gulf Cartel believed that they were
- 12:59Speaker 1: Haitian smugglers, either drug smugglers or human smugglers, we don't
- 13:03Speaker 1: know the exact details, and open fire on them and
- 13:07Speaker 1: two of them were killed, the third was injured, shot
- 13:12Speaker 1: in the leg, and the two that lived were taken
- 13:15Speaker 1: hostage for several days, and the President publicly didn't say
- 13:20Speaker 1: a damn word. President ought to stand up right now,
- 13:23Speaker 1: and he should have still stood up when they were
- 13:25Speaker 1: taken before we knew their situation, and said release these Americans.
- 13:28Speaker 1: America will not stand by while you kidnap Americans, while
- 13:32Speaker 1: you shoot Americans, while you murder Americans. And particularly this
- 13:36Speaker 1: happened just south of the US Mexico border, just south
- 13:41Speaker 1: of our southern border. Let me say secondly, this crisis
- 13:46Speaker 1: was caused by Joe Biden. Joe Biden's open border policies
- 13:53Speaker 1: have caused the worst crisis on our southern border in
- 13:56Speaker 1: our nation's history. In two and a half years, we've
- 13:59Speaker 1: seen over five and a half million illegal aliens crossing
- 14:03Speaker 1: the border. We saw last year more than one hundred
- 14:08Speaker 1: thousand drug overdoses in the United States, the highest level
- 14:12Speaker 1: in history. More than half of those are Chinese fentinolf
- 14:16Speaker 1: flooding across the border. But I'll tell you one of
- 14:19Speaker 1: the real consequences. So Biden came in, and Biden and
- 14:23Speaker 1: harrissed together. In the first week, they did three things.
- 14:25Speaker 1: They made three political decisions that caused this crisis. Number One,
- 14:29Speaker 1: they immediately halted construction of the border wall. Number two,
- 14:33Speaker 1: they reinstated the failed policy of catch and release, and
- 14:37Speaker 1: number three, they pulled out of the incredibly successful Remain
- 14:41Speaker 1: in Mexico policy. That combination of policy and political decisions
- 14:47Speaker 1: caused this border crisis. But let me tell you the
- 14:49Speaker 1: real effects. According to the New York Times, in the
- 14:53Speaker 1: year twenty eighteen, the drug cartels in Mexico made roughly
- 14:57Speaker 1: five hundred million dollars. Now, let's and five hundred million
- 15:01Speaker 1: dollars a lot of money. They were doing quite well
- 15:05Speaker 1: last year. You know how much they made? How much?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Thirteen billion dollars and that six hundred percent more. Yes,
- 15:18Speaker 1: it is without exaggeration, the single best thing that has
- 15:24Speaker 1: ever happened to Mexican drug cartels and drug lords is
- 15:29Speaker 1: Joe Biden becoming president. Their profits went up two thousand,
- 15:34Speaker 1: six hundred percent thirteen billion dollars. By the way of
- 15:38Speaker 1: that money, roughly half the money they make is from
- 15:42Speaker 1: human trafficking, from bringing human beings across the border in
- 15:46Speaker 1: horrible conditions of squalor and abuse, and roughly half of
- 15:50Speaker 1: it is from drug trafficking. So why do these cartels
- 15:55Speaker 1: feel that they have the power to kidnap and murder
- 15:58Speaker 1: American citizens? Well, when you're vicious terrorists, when you're violent criminals.
- 16:03Speaker 1: When you're cruel and abusive, and you got thirteen billion dollars. Sadly,
- 16:11Speaker 1: the impact in a country is terrible, and Joe Biden
- 16:14Speaker 1: caused this. It is tragic and it's unacceptable. The Attorney General,
- 16:19Speaker 1: Bill bar former Attorney General Bill bar was asked about this,
- 16:22Speaker 1: and he obviously had to deal a lot with Mexico
- 16:24Speaker 1: when he was in charge under the Trump administration. He
- 16:28Speaker 1: summed it up by putting it this way. The Mexican
- 16:31Speaker 1: government is being held hostage by tens of thousands of
- 16:35Speaker 1: paramilitary members of terrorist organizations that effectively control Mexico. It's
- 16:41Speaker 1: pretty close at this stage to a failed narco state.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They can use violence and oceans of cash to corrupt
- 16:49Speaker 1: the government. The government has no will and it doesn't
- 16:53Speaker 1: have the ability to deal with the cartels, and they
- 16:56Speaker 1: are sitting next door producing mountains of poisonous drugs and
- 17:04Speaker 1: killing over one hundred thousand Americans a year, which was
- 17:08Speaker 1: at the height of World War Two. That was our
- 17:10Speaker 1: killed in action rate. So we are sustaining the same
- 17:13Speaker 1: damage as we would in a major war from these
- 17:17Speaker 1: groups operating right beyond our reach. Senator, when you put
- 17:21Speaker 1: in perspective the way that he did, talking about the
- 17:23Speaker 1: number of people that have died, you know, the killing
- 17:28Speaker 1: of over one hundred thousand Americans a year, which which
- 17:30Speaker 1: was what we were dealing with the height of World
- 17:31Speaker 1: War Two, that was our killed in action rate. And
- 17:35Speaker 1: we're sustaining those losses right now because of an open border,
- 17:40Speaker 1: because of this president, and he doesn't seem to have
- 17:44Speaker 1: any connection to reality or want to stop the death
- 17:49Speaker 1: of all these Americans. And even when Americans are being
- 17:51Speaker 1: taken hostage, did you ever think you would see a
- 17:54Speaker 1: day where a president wouldn't immediately come out to the
- 17:56Speaker 1: White House Press briefing and say, I want to make
- 17:57Speaker 1: it clear of the cartels whoever took these ammerins, you
- 18:00Speaker 1: better return them or we will unleash holy hell on you.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And if the Mexican government is the failure that was
- 18:07Speaker 1: just described here by Bill bar that's basically a narco state.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And you know that because he was just down there.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you said this, Because you hadn't no honest
- 18:19Speaker 1: ability to believe that the Mexican government was going to
- 18:21Speaker 1: be able to find these people before two or three
- 18:24Speaker 1: or four die well. Because Joe Biden is an unbelievably
- 18:30Speaker 1: weak president. Listen Bill Barr, as you know, he's been
- 18:33Speaker 1: a friend for a long time. For twenty years, we've
- 18:36Speaker 1: had Bill Barr as a guest on this podcast when
- 18:39Speaker 1: he was Attorney General under Donald Trump. And Barr has
- 18:43Speaker 1: spent a lifetime fighting for law and order, fighting against
- 18:46Speaker 1: drug dealers, fighting against human traffickers, fighting to keep innocent
- 18:51Speaker 1: people safe. And the condition in Mexico is tragic. These
- 18:55Speaker 1: drug cartels are more powerful than they have ever been
- 19:00Speaker 1: in the history of Mexico or the history of the world.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And Joe Biden is making them powerful. He is making
- 19:06Speaker 1: them incredibly rich by allowing their businesses to flourish and prosper.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And listen, Bill Barr is right that the Mexican government
- 19:15Speaker 1: sadly has at best turned a blind eye to the
- 19:20Speaker 1: horrific predations of these drug cartels, and at worst has
- 19:24Speaker 1: been complicit in them. You know, it was really striking
- 19:27Speaker 1: when Biden went down to Mexico and did a press
- 19:31Speaker 1: conference with Amlo, the extreme leftist president of Mexico. Amlo
- 19:36Speaker 1: praised him effusively in Spanish. We played it on this podcast.
- 19:40Speaker 1: He praised him as being the first president in modern
- 19:43Speaker 1: times Republican or Democrat not to build a single meter
- 19:48Speaker 1: of border wall. Now, Amlo was praising him for essentially
- 19:52Speaker 1: abandoning his obligation to protect America and keep us safe.
- 19:56Speaker 1: But that is also the praise of someone talking about
- 19:59Speaker 1: a president the United States who Amlow believes is weak,
- 20:03Speaker 1: who Amlow believes is not formidable. You know, last night
- 20:07Speaker 1: I went on Jesse Waters and Jesse asked me about
- 20:11Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham had said we ought to send in the military,
- 20:13Speaker 1: we had to kill these drug cartels. And let me
- 20:17Speaker 1: be clear, I Lindsay's a friend, but I don't agree
- 20:19Speaker 1: with his recommendation there. I don't think we ought to
- 20:21Speaker 1: invade Mexico. I don't think we ought to be in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the business of invading foreign nations. But I do think
- 20:28Speaker 1: the President ought to make unequivocally clear to the Mexican government,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you will hunt down, you will send in the Mexican army.
- 20:38Speaker 1: You will arrest these cartel members that murdered these American citizens.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You will extradite them to the United States, and they
- 20:45Speaker 1: will face the full force of the justice system in
- 20:47Speaker 1: the United States of America. And you might say, well, Gosh,
- 20:51Speaker 1: Amlow's too weak to do that. He's unwilling to do that.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. When Trump was president, Amlo was
- 20:56Speaker 1: terrified at Trump. When Trump was president, Amlo read to
- 21:00Speaker 1: the Remain in Mexico agreement. He actually stationed thousands of
- 21:05Speaker 1: Mexican soldiers on Mexico's southern bordering. You know, you look
- 21:08Speaker 1: at the map, Mexico's southern border along Guatemala is much
- 21:11Speaker 1: much smaller than our southern border, which is two thousand
- 21:15Speaker 1: miles between the United States and Mexico. If you want
- 21:18Speaker 1: to stop illegal immigrations, one of the way, one of
- 21:21Speaker 1: the ways you do it is you you seal the
- 21:23Speaker 1: southern border of Mexico. Amlo did it because he was
- 21:26Speaker 1: terrified of Trump. Because Biden is such a weak president.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Everyone walks all over him. And sadly, these American citizens,
- 21:36Speaker 1: they're from South Carolina. Two of them lost their lives
- 21:41Speaker 1: because of the drug cartels empowered by Joe Biden, and
- 21:45Speaker 1: two of them were kidnapped, while Joe Biden remained silent
- 21:49Speaker 1: and did not use the power of the United States
- 21:52Speaker 1: to defend those Americans. Yeah, it is a scary thing,
- 21:57Speaker 1: and I think the part that was the most shocking
- 21:59Speaker 1: for me was the fact that we only offered at
- 22:01Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars to get information about the whereabouts, and
- 22:06Speaker 1: I said, wow, I'm basically worth twelve thousand, five hundred dollars.
- 22:10Speaker 1: But if you come across the border illegally, you'll get
- 22:12Speaker 1: far more than that from the US government. And we're
- 22:14Speaker 1: sending far more than that to people in Ukraine. That
- 22:17Speaker 1: is again shows you just how low the American people
- 22:20Speaker 1: are on the priority list of this White House. I
- 22:23Speaker 1: want to be ben for what it's worth. I'd pony
- 22:25Speaker 1: up at least thirteen thousand for information on you. Thank you,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Thank you, at least thirteen I got your back. It's
- 22:31Speaker 1: not your twelve five man, You're the entire United States
- 22:35Speaker 1: government right now? Do I get to combine funds because
- 22:37Speaker 1: that's like almost twenty five right there. Look, I don't
- 22:41Speaker 1: have a multi trillion dollars GDP, so you should feel
- 22:45Speaker 1: really good. I just committed thirteen grand I'll be in
- 22:48Speaker 1: trouble at home for that. I'm gonna get this in writing,
- 22:51Speaker 1: Beaz if we ever go missing, we know, we know
- 22:53Speaker 1: Senator Cruise has got our back on that one. I
- 22:56Speaker 1: want to get to something else, and that is these
- 22:58Speaker 1: By the way, thirteen. No one. I may be like
- 23:02Speaker 1: new number who I don't know that that former person
- 23:07Speaker 1: that I used to work with you. I can. I
- 23:09Speaker 1: can hear the press conference right now. At least I'd
- 23:11Speaker 1: get a press conference out of it. That would be
- 23:13Speaker 1: the good news. I got your back. Thank you, thank you.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I appreciate that. I want to get in these emails
- 23:20Speaker 1: with doctor Fauci that apparently these new emails are showing
- 23:24Speaker 1: the doctor Anthony Faucci actually commissioned a scientific paper in
- 23:28Speaker 1: February of twenty twenty to disprove the Wuhan lab leak
- 23:33Speaker 1: quote theory. Before I get to that, I want to
- 23:36Speaker 1: tell you about our friends at August of Precious Metals.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You've probably seen what's been going on with the economy.
- 23:41Speaker 1: You know what's happening with interest rates, and you know
- 23:43Speaker 1: what's happening on Wall Street. So if you have saved
- 23:45Speaker 1: a long time for retirement, you know how important it
- 23:48Speaker 1: is to understand that you need to protect your dollars
- 23:52Speaker 1: and you can do that with a gold ira. I'm
- 23:55Speaker 1: excited to tell you about a company that I actually
- 23:58Speaker 1: use and trust, August Precious Metals. They're different. They will
- 24:02Speaker 1: tell you if a gold IRA isn't your answer. They
- 24:06Speaker 1: just give you the facts. Now, a gust of precious
- 24:08Speaker 1: metal is all about protecting your IRA in four one
- 24:11Speaker 1: ks in this crazy economy, and that is so important
- 24:15Speaker 1: close to retirement because there's no time to make up losses.
- 24:19Speaker 1: So if you've saved one hundred thousand dollars or more,
- 24:21Speaker 1: you should take a look at their free guide and
- 24:23Speaker 1: sign up for their free web conference. That's where you
- 24:26Speaker 1: get the real information. I've done that web conference and
- 24:30Speaker 1: it is amazing. You should check them out. Call them
- 24:33Speaker 1: eight seven seven four the number four Gold IRA eight
- 24:37Speaker 1: seven seven the number four Gold IRA, or visit Augusta
- 24:42Speaker 1: Precious Metals dot com say I sent you and they'll
- 24:44Speaker 1: pay your fees for up to ten years. That's Augusta
- 24:47Speaker 1: Precious Metals dot Com or eight seven seven four Gold
- 24:50Speaker 1: Ira Center. The more that comes out about what Fauci
- 24:56Speaker 1: was up to, it is even to me little bit shocking.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Now these new emails uncovered by the House Republicans probing
- 25:05Speaker 1: the COVID nineteen pandemic are now revealing the deceptive nature
- 25:09Speaker 1: of doctor Anthony Fauci. They show that he prompted or
- 25:13Speaker 1: commissioned and had final approval on a scientific paper written
- 25:18Speaker 1: specifically in February of twenty twenty to disprove the theory
- 25:23Speaker 1: that the virus leaked from a Wuhan lab in China.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Eight weeks later, Faucci also stood at the White House
- 25:30Speaker 1: Press conference alongside Donald Trump incited that paper as evidence
- 25:35Speaker 1: that the lab week theory was implausible, while pretending it
- 25:39Speaker 1: had nothing to do with him and he did not
- 25:41Speaker 1: know the authors. He was lying to the American people. Well, sadly,
- 25:47Speaker 1: we've discovered that doctor Fauci is more than willing to
- 25:50Speaker 1: lie to the American people, and he did so throughout
- 25:53Speaker 1: this pandemic. He did so an enormous expense to his
- 25:57Speaker 1: own integrity, to his own credibility, and an enormous expense
- 26:00Speaker 1: to the credibility of the scientific and medical community in
- 26:03Speaker 1: this country, particularly in the government. This particular story was
- 26:08Speaker 1: broken by Miranda Divine in the New York Post, and
- 26:12Speaker 1: I got to say, Miranda Divine has done an extraordinary
- 26:15Speaker 1: job breaking these stories. She's focused aggressively on it. You know,
- 26:21Speaker 1: when Fauci talked about this paper, he described it as
- 26:26Speaker 1: a group of quote, highly qualified evolutionary virologist. They looked
- 26:32Speaker 1: at the sequences in bats as they evolved, the mutations
- 26:35Speaker 1: that it took to get to the point where it
- 26:37Speaker 1: is now totally consistent with a jump of species from
- 26:41Speaker 1: animal to human. So he continues, the paper will be available.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I don't have the authors right now, but we can
- 26:49Speaker 1: make it available to you. So he's laying it out
- 26:52Speaker 1: as this scientific paper. It came out in Nature magazine
- 26:57Speaker 1: on February seventeenth, twenty twenty, but it was written four
- 27:02Speaker 1: days after Fauci had held a call with the four
- 27:06Speaker 1: authors to discuss reports that COVID nineteen may have been
- 27:11Speaker 1: leaked from Wuhun lab and quote may have been intentionally
- 27:15Speaker 1: genetically manipulated, and the article. On February twelfth, Anderson, one
- 27:24Speaker 1: of the authors of the article, submitted the paper to
- 27:26Speaker 1: Nature Medicine with a cover email, there has been a
- 27:30Speaker 1: lot of speculation, fairmongering, conspiracies put forth into space. This
- 27:34Speaker 1: paper was prompted by Jeremy Farah, Tony Fauci, and Francis Collins.
- 27:42Speaker 1: And Francis Collins was the head of the NIH the
- 27:46Speaker 1: National Institute for Health. Ferrar was the head of the
- 27:52Speaker 1: British nonprofit the Welcome Trust, which has deep ties to
- 27:56Speaker 1: the pharmaceutical industry and the Gates Foundation and emails. On
- 28:04Speaker 1: the day the paper was published, Ferrar was pushing through
- 28:08Speaker 1: a crucial, crucial change. He said the following, this is
- 28:11Speaker 1: a quote. Sorrow. Sorry to micromanage, micro edit, but would
- 28:16Speaker 1: you be willing to change one sentence? And his change
- 28:21Speaker 1: was to replace the word unlikely with the word improbable
- 28:26Speaker 1: in a statement about the lab leak origin, so it
- 28:28Speaker 1: would read it is improbable that SARS COVID two emerged
- 28:35Speaker 1: through laboratory manipulation of an existing Stars related coronavirus. If
- 28:42Speaker 1: you look at it. Fauci knew what he was doing.
- 28:48Speaker 1: He prompted the scientist to write the article, and then
- 28:51Speaker 1: he turns around and holds a press conference says, wow,
- 28:54Speaker 1: look at this article. I don't know who wrote it,
- 28:56Speaker 1: who knows, but they seem really credible. And you know what,
- 29:00Speaker 1: it says the virus didn't come from a Chinese government lab. Now,
- 29:04Speaker 1: mind you, that was false, and Fouche had all the
- 29:09Speaker 1: evidence he needed to know it was false. He did
- 29:12Speaker 1: that in February twenty twenty. Remember this podcast in March
- 29:15Speaker 1: of twenty twenty, one month later laid out the facts
- 29:19Speaker 1: then that I think made it indisputably likely that it
- 29:25Speaker 1: had escaped from a Chinese government lab. But doctor Fouch
- 29:29Speaker 1: she didn't like that political story and so was willing
- 29:33Speaker 1: to essentially fabricate evidence to prompt a scientific study that
- 29:40Speaker 1: would enable him to turn around and say, gosh, I'm
- 29:42Speaker 1: just following the science. When I believe he knew he
- 29:46Speaker 1: was misleading the American people. Yeah, the way he put
- 29:49Speaker 1: it at that press conference just showed how how shady
- 29:52Speaker 1: this was. Hey, get me this and then I'll cite
- 29:54Speaker 1: it like I didn't know about it, Like you guys
- 29:56Speaker 1: are independent and they're they're literally colluding on this on
- 29:59Speaker 1: the own. I had a time. And then when he
- 30:02Speaker 1: brings to the American peoples like I had nothing to
- 30:03Speaker 1: do with this, just found this independent study and this
- 30:07Speaker 1: is par for the course. Now, with what we're finding
- 30:09Speaker 1: out through these investigations, the question is, though, will there
- 30:13Speaker 1: be any accountability for this? Fauci got paid, he got famous,
- 30:17Speaker 1: he walked away from our government, being the highest paid
- 30:20Speaker 1: bureaucrat on our payroll in our government. Do you believe that,
- 30:25Speaker 1: even with all of this coming out, will there be
- 30:28Speaker 1: any accountability? Because at this point, I think that's what
- 30:31Speaker 1: so many Americans want. They just want to know that
- 30:34Speaker 1: somebody is going to get in trouble for what they
- 30:36Speaker 1: did to us in this country with COVID lockdowns, etc. So, sadly,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I don't believe there's going to be any federal criminal liability.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And the reason is simple. Under our constitution, there's one person,
- 30:47Speaker 1: and one person only on the face of the planet,
- 30:49Speaker 1: that can bring federal criminal charges. His name is Merrick Garland.
- 30:53Speaker 1: He's the Attorney General of the United States. He is,
- 30:56Speaker 1: as we've talked about on this podcast multiple times, I
- 30:58Speaker 1: think the most political attorney general this country's ever seen.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I've asked Merritt Garland repeatedly if he's willing to investigate
- 31:06Speaker 1: Anthony Fauci, if he's willing to prosecute Anthony Fauci for
- 31:09Speaker 1: lying to the Congress, and Merritt Garland has refused to
- 31:12Speaker 1: give a straight answer to that. As you and I
- 31:15Speaker 1: said on this podcast at SEPAK last week, Merrick Garland
- 31:20Speaker 1: might actually rival and even exceed Anthony Fauci for arrogance
- 31:26Speaker 1: and self satisfied hubris. And that's hard to do. It
- 31:32Speaker 1: is astonishingly hard to do. Both of them, I think
- 31:37Speaker 1: have done enormous damage I think there will be accountability
- 31:41Speaker 1: for Fauci number one in public opinion and public record.
- 31:43Speaker 1: It's one of the values. What we're trying to do
- 31:47Speaker 1: in the Senate, what we're trying to do in this podcast,
- 31:49Speaker 1: what the House majority is doing with its subpoena power
- 31:53Speaker 1: and its investigation sunlight is powerful. More and more people
- 31:57Speaker 1: are learning that Anthony Foul was a liar. But he
- 32:02Speaker 1: wasn't just a liar. He was a deliberate liar. He
- 32:04Speaker 1: knew he was lying. He was willing to put politics
- 32:07Speaker 1: above science and medicine. And on the left, you know,
- 32:12Speaker 1: the left lives so often. And by the left, I
- 32:15Speaker 1: mean democrats, I mean the bureaucratic estate of the regulators
- 32:23Speaker 1: in our government, and I mean the media, the corporate media,
- 32:27Speaker 1: that they live in a fact free environment where they
- 32:30Speaker 1: have a narrative, they tell facts that they tell a
- 32:32Speaker 1: story in the facts don't matter. And we now know
- 32:37Speaker 1: not one but two agencies in the Biden administration admit
- 32:40Speaker 1: what was obvious three years ago, which is that COVID
- 32:44Speaker 1: likely escaped from a Chinese government lab. At this point,
- 32:47Speaker 1: the Biden Department of Energy has concluded that, and the
- 32:49Speaker 1: Biden FBI has concluded that, and that means when Fauci
- 32:54Speaker 1: was teeing up these quote scientific articles, he was deliberately
- 32:59Speaker 1: creating materials that were deceptive and the American people ought
- 33:05Speaker 1: to be really ticked off. Why was Tony Fauci trying
- 33:08Speaker 1: to cover up for communist China and for its culpability
- 33:12Speaker 1: in this pandemic? Yeah, no doubt about it. And more
- 33:15Speaker 1: this is coming out. We'll keep you updated on what
- 33:18Speaker 1: is found. Specifically from the Republicans on the House side,
- 33:22Speaker 1: is they're continuing to look into this. Finally, Senator, I
- 33:25Speaker 1: want to talk about January the sixth, and these tapes
- 33:28Speaker 1: have come out, They are being broadcast, the footage is
- 33:31Speaker 1: being looked at the leadership of the Republican Party and
- 33:35Speaker 1: in the Senate side, Mitch McConnell's saying he doesn't really
- 33:38Speaker 1: like how this is going down, and I want to
- 33:39Speaker 1: get your reaction that. Before I do that, I want
- 33:41Speaker 1: to tell you about our friends at Patriot Mobile. If
- 33:44Speaker 1: you want to vote with your dollars and you want
- 33:47Speaker 1: to have an impact with your dollars, you want to

- 33:54Speaker 1: you can do it every month when you pay your

- 34:10Speaker 1: bill goes to support First and Second Amendment causes. Also,
- 34:15Speaker 1: they give money to support the rights of unborn children
- 34:19Speaker 1: and even help with adoptions. Patriot Mobile is a conservative
- 34:23Speaker 1: Christian company that is standing by what we believe in.

- 34:48Speaker 1: or online at Patriot Mobile dot com. Slash verdict that's
- 34:51Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict. Senator, January the sixth,
- 34:58Speaker 1: There's been a lot of fodder. I've said this, you
- 35:00Speaker 1: and I've talked about this. If you were attacking police,
- 35:03Speaker 1: you deserve to be arresting, go to jail. If you're
- 35:05Speaker 1: breaking down windows, you deserved to be arrested and go
- 35:07Speaker 1: to jail. But there's a lot of tape that's now
- 35:10Speaker 1: coming out and it's nothing like nine to eleven, which
- 35:13Speaker 1: Democrats have said that it was like that day. And
- 35:17Speaker 1: now we're finding out about the lives of the January
- 35:20Speaker 1: sixth committee, where apparently they were altering sound, they were
- 35:24Speaker 1: altering tape. The man who led that committee, Benny Thompson,
- 35:30Speaker 1: was asked about this earlier by a reporter Carry Pickett
- 35:34Speaker 1: at the Washington Times. This is what was said in
- 35:38Speaker 1: the back and forth presentation that came out last night,
- 35:42Speaker 1: calling generous sixth stink Washington Times. I just thought this
- 35:47Speaker 1: calling the generous six selectimitty liars. So you guys selectively
- 35:51Speaker 1: edited the tapes, said that you guys pretty much to
- 35:57Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson, particularly the way you guys it out, selectively
- 36:01Speaker 1: edited clips, put in sound that didn't exist from the
- 36:06Speaker 1: producers from the from NBC. That tell me, I just
- 36:12Speaker 1: told you it's not true. Well, then that's not true, okay.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Senator Hally theah clipped with him running by himself when
- 36:22Speaker 1: the fact that there are a whole bunch of senators
- 36:24Speaker 1: who are actually running out together. When he was mocked.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Is that true or is that not true? Senator Hally
- 36:32Speaker 1: running by himself when he was running with a whole
- 36:34Speaker 1: bunch of other senators. He was running with a whole
- 36:37Speaker 1: bunch of their senators though he was running with a
- 36:39Speaker 1: whole bunch of other senators. What about Jacob Chancelly, he
- 36:46Speaker 1: was he was completely peaceful. Thank you, sir. I don't
- 36:52Speaker 1: know him. Senator, this is the guy ran the January
- 36:55Speaker 1: sixth Committee. He's saying, we didn't change any video except
- 37:00Speaker 1: when you see the raw video. It's very clear that
- 37:03Speaker 1: the January sixth Committee, who hired TV executives to producers
- 37:08Speaker 1: to come run their hearings, they edited the hell out
- 37:11Speaker 1: of these tapes and put things up there that just
- 37:13Speaker 1: didn't happen. The January sixth Committee in the House of
- 37:16Speaker 1: Representatives was a kangaroo court. It was designed to be
- 37:21Speaker 1: a political circus. Nancy Pelosi structured it so it had
- 37:25Speaker 1: only Democrats and two Republicans who would go along with
- 37:29Speaker 1: the Democrats on everything. When Republicans wanted to put real
- 37:35Speaker 1: Republicans who would stand up and actually cross examine witnesses,
- 37:38Speaker 1: actually try to get to the facts of what happened.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Pelosi said nope, nope, we don't want any cross examination,
- 37:44Speaker 1: We don't want any facts. This is a political circus. So,
- 37:49Speaker 1: for example, Kevin McCarthy wanted to put Jim Jordan on.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Jim Jordan would have questioned the hell at every one
- 37:54Speaker 1: of those witnesses. Nancy Pelosi said, oh, no, no, no,
- 37:57Speaker 1: our witnesses can't handle questioning. No, no, no no, we don't
- 38:00Speaker 1: want him there. You know, an ordinary congressional committee, you
- 38:05Speaker 1: have a roughly equal member of a number of members
- 38:08Speaker 1: from both sides, which means every witness that comes before
- 38:12Speaker 1: them gets questioned by both sides. And there's a virtue
- 38:16Speaker 1: to the give and take of a hearing if you
- 38:19Speaker 1: think about it, a criminal trial. A criminal trial would
- 38:22Speaker 1: be very different if the prosecution were the only people
- 38:24Speaker 1: allowed to talk, Like if the defense lawyer didn't get
- 38:27Speaker 1: to speak, you just had the prosecution present evidence. You
- 38:30Speaker 1: know what, just about everyone would get convicted. It would
- 38:33Speaker 1: take a terrible prosecutor who couldn't convict if the defense
- 38:37Speaker 1: lawyer wasn't allowed to talk, wasn't allowed to question witnesses.
- 38:41Speaker 1: That's what Nancy Pelosi did with a January sixth committee.
- 38:45Speaker 1: She basically set up it was and you mentioned they
- 38:49Speaker 1: hired a Hollywood producer, a producer from Good Morning America
- 38:53Speaker 1: to put on a political infomercial, and the infomercial was
- 38:58Speaker 1: designed to tell one worry about January sixth. That was
- 39:01Speaker 1: deliberately one sided. And so I'm very glad Kevin McCarthy
- 39:06Speaker 1: has handed the footage over from January sixth over to
- 39:09Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson his show that he put out this week
- 39:12Speaker 1: where he went through that video and he showed a
- 39:14Speaker 1: lot of portions of video that were totally different from
- 39:18Speaker 1: what that kangaroo court put out. And I think it's
- 39:21Speaker 1: important for the American people to know what happened. As
- 39:26Speaker 1: you said a minute ago, Ben, anyone on January sixth
- 39:30Speaker 1: who committed a crime of violence, anyone who assaulted a
- 39:33Speaker 1: police officer, that person should be prosecuted and go to jail.
- 39:37Speaker 1: You don't get to commit a crime of violence, whether
- 39:39Speaker 1: I agree with your politics or I don't. Violence is
- 39:43Speaker 1: a crime and you should go to jail. But anyone
- 39:47Speaker 1: who engaged in peaceful protests who simply spoke what they believed.
- 39:51Speaker 1: There were thousands upon thousands of peaceful protesters there on
- 39:55Speaker 1: January sixth who didn't violate the law, they exercised their
- 40:00Speaker 1: First Amendment rights, and for two years we've seen democrats
- 40:03Speaker 1: and the corporate media cynically trying to paint those little
- 40:07Speaker 1: old ladies waiving American flags and singing God Bless America
- 40:11Speaker 1: with the action of a much smaller number of individuals
- 40:14Speaker 1: who committed crimes of violence, and so releasing this video
- 40:18Speaker 1: is really powerful to show. As you've played in that
- 40:23Speaker 1: exchange with a Washington Times reporter, the January sixth Committee
- 40:28Speaker 1: released a video and then added a soundtrack. It's like
- 40:31Speaker 1: a sitcom, adding the laugh track. They added noise that's
- 40:35Speaker 1: not in the video. Why because it made really good TV. Wow,
- 40:38Speaker 1: it sounded scary. They put a lot of scary noise there,
- 40:41Speaker 1: so that must have been what it was like. And
- 40:44Speaker 1: my hope is that this video gets reviewed and gets
- 40:50Speaker 1: made available to the public. I hope much more widely
- 40:53Speaker 1: than Tucker Carlson. I'm glad Tucker is making it available,
- 40:56Speaker 1: but I think it ought to be available more widely
- 40:58Speaker 1: so we can get a true and accurate picture of
- 41:02Speaker 1: what happened. Those that committed crimes of violence can be
- 41:04Speaker 1: held accountable, but those who are being persecuted for their
- 41:08Speaker 1: political views, which is what the Biden administration can do.
- 41:12Speaker 1: They can be exonerated, and this video is powerful on
- 41:15Speaker 1: both fronts. You mentioned the other day and you asked
- 41:19Speaker 1: the question of the FBI about Ray Epps specifically, and
- 41:23Speaker 1: I think we should go back to that because one
- 41:26Speaker 1: of the things that Tuger Carlson focused on on his
- 41:29Speaker 1: second show was Ray Epps. Here's thirty five seconds of
- 41:34Speaker 1: what he showed in these videos that many people have
- 41:37Speaker 1: never seen about Ray Epps, who you asked about the FBI.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Listen to this tonight. We can tell you that at
- 41:43Speaker 1: the very least, Ray Epps live. In his sworn testimony
- 41:46Speaker 1: to the January sixth Committee, Epps testified that when he
- 41:50Speaker 1: sent the text messages to his nephew, he had already
- 41:53Speaker 1: left the Capitol grounds to return to his hotel room.
- 41:56Speaker 1: That is not true. The surveillance footage we found shows that,
- 42:00Speaker 1: in fact, Ray Epps remained at the Capitol for at
- 42:03Speaker 1: least another half an hour. You're seeing that on your screen. Now,
- 42:07Speaker 1: what was Epps doing there? We can't say, but we
- 42:10Speaker 1: do know that he lied to investigators. The January sixth
- 42:14Speaker 1: Committee likely knew this too. Democrats had access to the
- 42:17Speaker 1: same teape, yet they defended Ray Epps. No honest investigation
- 42:22Speaker 1: would do that. But the point of the January sixth
- 42:25Speaker 1: committee was never to investigate anything. The point was the
- 42:28Speaker 1: stage of made for TV show trial. I mean, we
- 42:33Speaker 1: see that time stamp. You see that Ray absolutely slied
- 42:36Speaker 1: about this. Have you still and is there any chance
- 42:39Speaker 1: that we're going to get a straight answer on who
- 42:41Speaker 1: the hell Ray Apps is? And is he an informant?
- 42:43Speaker 1: Was he put there by the FBI well sadly from
- 42:48Speaker 1: the Biden Justice Department, from the Biden FBI? I think
- 42:50Speaker 1: the chances are very slim. I would encourage podcast listeners
- 42:54Speaker 1: go back and google a podcast we did a long
- 42:57Speaker 1: time ago that is entitled who is Ray Epps? And
- 43:01Speaker 1: we devoted an entire episode of Verdict to that question.
- 43:05Speaker 1: And it followed a Judiciary Committee hearing in which I
- 43:08Speaker 1: was questioning senior officials from the Department of Justice and
- 43:12Speaker 1: from the FBI, and I asked them about how many
- 43:15Speaker 1: undercover agents they had at the protest on January sixth.
- 43:20Speaker 1: They refused to answer how many of them? Did any
- 43:22Speaker 1: of them engage in acts of violence? They refused to answer,
- 43:25Speaker 1: did any of them encourage or incite others to engage
- 43:28Speaker 1: in acts of violence. They refuse to answer. If you
- 43:30Speaker 1: look at ray Epps his behavior at the time, where
- 43:33Speaker 1: he's urging people, we must go into the capital. Not
- 43:36Speaker 1: just to the capital, we must go into the capitol.
- 43:38Speaker 1: It's really quite remarkable. You watch the video, the crowd
- 43:42Speaker 1: starts chanting at ray Epps, fed fed fed. The crowd
- 43:47Speaker 1: believes he is working for the federal government. And I
- 43:52Speaker 1: get to say, the lack of willingness to answer those
- 43:58Speaker 1: questions from the Biden administration is incredibly troubling. Look, if
- 44:03Speaker 1: someone commits a violent crime, they should be prosecuted. But
- 44:06Speaker 1: there's an exception to that, which is if the federal
- 44:09Speaker 1: government incites that crime, if the federal government entraps someone.
- 44:16Speaker 1: In other words, an undercover cop can't come to your
- 44:20Speaker 1: house and say, hey, Ben, have you looked down the street.
- 44:24Speaker 1: There's a liquor store there. Maybe we had to go
- 44:26Speaker 1: knock off the liquor store. What are you thinking. You're like, oh,
- 44:29Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't really need to come on, man,
- 44:31Speaker 1: we can do it. We can do it. And if
- 44:33Speaker 1: you go knock off the liquor store, you know what,
- 44:35Speaker 1: at your criminal prosecution, you can raise a defensive and
- 44:38Speaker 1: trapman and say, wait a second, it was law enforcement
- 44:42Speaker 1: who came up with the idea. It was law enforcement
- 44:44Speaker 1: encouraged me to do it. I wouldn't have done it.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I was sitting at home recording a podcast until suddenly
- 44:50Speaker 1: someone knocked on my door and said, let's go knock
- 44:53Speaker 1: off a liquor store. The government can't do that. And
- 44:56Speaker 1: so the question on January sixth, one of them most
- 45:00Speaker 1: important questions, is to one extent, did federal law enforcement
- 45:06Speaker 1: insight and entrap people into criminal violations? And the fact
- 45:12Speaker 1: that Tucker has aired what appears to be video contradicting
- 45:17Speaker 1: ray Epps's testimony that raises serious questions. And it's amazing
- 45:23Speaker 1: the Democrats on the January sixth committee when ask about Yapps,
- 45:27Speaker 1: they hate every single person who was at January sixth.
- 45:30Speaker 1: They're all evil, horrific insurrectionists except Ray Apps. And they
- 45:35Speaker 1: defend him like crazy, which I got to admit, when
- 45:38Speaker 1: you have hardcore partisans defending someone, that certainly raises some questions.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Why are they defending him? And to be quit, Ray
- 45:46Speaker 1: Apps has never been charged with any crimes, Absolutely true,
- 45:49Speaker 1: And I don't know, maybe there is an explanation. But
- 45:53Speaker 1: on the face of it, so there's another video where
- 45:57Speaker 1: he's in the crowd. He whispers in a guy's ear,
- 46:00Speaker 1: and seconds later the guy starts tearing down the barricades
- 46:03Speaker 1: to go into the Capitol. That conduct appears to be
- 46:09Speaker 1: encouraging him to violate the law. We don't know what
- 46:11Speaker 1: he whispered, but the fact that the FBI won't answer
- 46:16Speaker 1: that question and listen, I get it as a general matter,
- 46:21Speaker 1: your dad was in law enforcement for a long time.
- 46:24Speaker 1: As a general matter, you send in an undercover cop,
- 46:27Speaker 1: you don't admit who the undercover cop is, you don't
- 46:29Speaker 1: admit what he's done. And by the way, undercover policing
- 46:32Speaker 1: is a legitimate form of law enforcement. January sixth was
- 46:38Speaker 1: not a typical day. I don't think that's hyperbole to
- 46:40Speaker 1: say the Democrats and the Biden administration have suggested it
- 46:46Speaker 1: was a national tragedy on the order of nine to
- 46:49Speaker 1: eleven and Pearl Harbor. If they are going to maintain
- 46:55Speaker 1: that's the case, the American people deserve to know what
- 46:58Speaker 1: actually happened that day, and they need deserve to know
- 47:02Speaker 1: what the precise level of culpability the federal government bears
- 47:06Speaker 1: in the criminal conduct on that day, and yet the
- 47:10Speaker 1: Biden DOJ and the Biden FBI remain dug in and
- 47:14Speaker 1: animately opposed to any accountability. The FBI could answer this question,
- 47:20Speaker 1: they refuse to, and it's because they ultimately don't think
- 47:25Speaker 1: the public has a right to know. I think that's
- 47:29Speaker 1: represents a grotesque disrespect for the American people, no doubt
- 47:35Speaker 1: about it. This may be one of my favorite podcasts
