- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining. You gotta turn you're going to
- 1:17Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water, the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby now, ah I show. Well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody y'all listening to the voice. Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 1: radio show. Yeo, man boy, God has been good to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I can't really count at all. You can't either, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 1: little thing. It's unbelievable the things He's done for us.
- 2:31Speaker 1: How many times you know, we got through something without
- 2:33Speaker 1: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 1: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:42Speaker 1: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 1: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:46Speaker 1: struggling out here, but guess what, You're still going to
- 2:49Speaker 1: work you. You know, you live in check the check,
- 2:51Speaker 1: but you're making it all. You got all the plates spinning.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know, it's hard. You got a lot of plates spinning,
- 2:56Speaker 1: but you keep him up there somewhere. Every now I
- 2:58Speaker 1: near one break, but he put two more back up
- 3:00Speaker 1: there to look a little bit better. And you got
- 3:02Speaker 1: to get to spending them so it all works. And
- 3:05Speaker 1: then you got a lot of people who just can't
- 3:08Speaker 1: seem to mentally put it together as to you know,
- 3:14Speaker 1: why their life isn't in a position that they wanted
- 3:17Speaker 1: to be. We talked about this oftentimes, but I don't
- 3:20Speaker 1: want to try another angle with you to day. You know,
- 3:23Speaker 1: maybe it's you. Have you ever thought about that? Maybe
- 3:28Speaker 1: it's you. Maybe it's no external force that's at fault,
- 3:33Speaker 1: like you keep making the excuse to be You know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: so many people I hear, well, if this hadn't have
- 3:40Speaker 1: done this, if he hadn't have done that, if she
- 3:42Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I would have been further along.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I wasted all my time, my years with this man,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and he did this, and I could have been here,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and I could have been there, and this woman she
- 3:54Speaker 1: did this to me. If she hadn't have done that
- 3:56Speaker 1: I could have been here, and I could have been there.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Maybe it's you. Maybe it's not really that external force
- 4:04Speaker 1: that you keep making it out to be. See, I've
- 4:08Speaker 1: done this to myself before. Once again, I'm talking to
- 4:13Speaker 1: you about something I know about. I've done this to
- 4:16Speaker 1: myself before. I've had the reason I wasn't where I
- 4:21Speaker 1: wanted to be. I had it figured out as some
- 4:24Speaker 1: external force. I had worked it out in my mind.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Clearly it wasn't me, because if so and so, or
- 4:33Speaker 1: if this hadn't happened, and if they hadn't have done this,
- 4:36Speaker 1: I would have been further along up the road. That's
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I was saying. But WOLDO hold on it. But
- 4:42Speaker 1: I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See, if you don't
- 4:47Speaker 1: ever let it go, it's gonna be hard for you
- 4:52Speaker 1: to go. If you don't ever let it go, it's
- 4:58Speaker 1: gonna be hard for you you to go. I was
- 5:02Speaker 1: listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and I heard
- 5:05Speaker 1: him say, you can't drive your car if you're gonna
- 5:11Speaker 1: keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go outside and
- 5:15Speaker 1: try that. Try to drive your car, but keep your
- 5:18Speaker 1: eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking at is
- 5:22Speaker 1: where you're being. All you looking at in that rear
- 5:25Speaker 1: view mirrors where you're passed or should have passed, something
- 5:28Speaker 1: you should have moved on from. All you're doing is
- 5:31Speaker 1: looking in that rearview mirror at what happened back there.
- 5:36Speaker 1: If you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're
- 5:39Speaker 1: gonna crash your car over and over and over again.
- 5:45Speaker 1: All you got to slow it down so bad in
- 5:49Speaker 1: order for you to keep looking in that rearview mirror.
- 5:53Speaker 1: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:03Speaker 1: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:07Speaker 1: know it's hard. Man. I watched a show and this
- 6:10Speaker 1: lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive them for that,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or guess what. Guess what God may have already forgiven
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person. That person may be extremely remorseful, could have
- 6:23Speaker 1: gone to God and Godden forgiveness for it years ago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But you you sit here and you keep hanging on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to the back. I can't ever forgive that. M Then
- 6:36Speaker 1: I heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one time
- 6:38Speaker 1: and say something that really really struck on. You keep
- 6:42Speaker 1: drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. He
- 6:49Speaker 1: said that. I just shook my head and went, wow,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Revenge is poison to you, you know, if hatred is
- 7:05Speaker 1: poison to you. Unforgivingness, when you won't forgive a person,
- 7:11Speaker 1: that person could be going on with their life, made
- 7:14Speaker 1: the right with God. Don't know how you're feeling. They're
- 7:17Speaker 1: skipping through life. Now. You make adjustments every time you
- 7:20Speaker 1: see them, and it takes energy. Man, it takes so
- 7:23Speaker 1: much energy to hate. It takes so much energy not
- 7:27Speaker 1: to forgive too. That ain't come in the room. You
- 7:30Speaker 1: got to avoid them. Stay over here, Oh here they come.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Now you got to make a situation over here. They
- 7:36Speaker 1: come into the house. It's family reunion. Oh here they come.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And where they're gonna be in the basement. I'm going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be on the third floor. I want to go
- 7:43Speaker 1: ahead and get some barbecue. She out there at the barbecue, staying,
- 7:45Speaker 1: oh lord, I don't want a barbecue. I just eat
- 7:47Speaker 1: to take the salary. People man take themselves all out
- 7:50Speaker 1: of position, trying to make adjustments, when if you it
- 7:54Speaker 1: would simplify your life. If you would let just let
- 7:59Speaker 1: it go. Maybe you ain't where you need to be
- 8:01Speaker 1: because of them external forces altogether. Maybe you're not where
- 8:06Speaker 1: you need to be cause of you. Because you won't
- 8:10Speaker 1: let it go, you won't move forward. Look at this, ladies,
- 8:14Speaker 1: Let's say you've been in a situation with him man
- 8:17Speaker 1: for years. It didn't work out. For whatever the reason,
- 8:20Speaker 1: it just didn't work out. I got, I got what
- 8:24Speaker 1: you say he did. I got what he did. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: got all of that. YadA YadA YadA. When you get through,
- 8:31Speaker 1: did not God get you through it? Did not he
- 8:35Speaker 1: allow you to survive it? I got you, got some
- 8:40Speaker 1: cuts on you, I got you been a little bit bruised.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But did he not get you through it? So, now
- 8:48Speaker 1: that he's freed you from it, now he didn't went on.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He got a whole an other family over that somewhere.
- 8:52Speaker 1: He now he trying to make it right because maybe
- 8:55Speaker 1: he learned the mistake he made and now he trying
- 8:57Speaker 1: to be a better man. He just trying to get
- 8:59Speaker 1: it right now. But you're sitting there holding onto it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So now instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally
- 9:09Speaker 1: being free from a situation that was not healthy for you.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind
- 9:16Speaker 1: by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall
- 9:21Speaker 1: on his face. Maybe you're even doing something to the
- 9:24Speaker 1: other situation to make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ain't where you ought to be in life, not
- 9:34Speaker 1: because of your external forces, but maybe it's you. If
- 9:39Speaker 1: you don't let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 9:42Speaker 1: you to go. You can't keep driving your car looking
- 9:46Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is
- 9:51Speaker 1: not for the other person. Forgiveness is for you. Ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, boys and girls all around the world. Sit
- 10:07Speaker 1: up in your car seats, roll out your beds, pull
- 10:11Speaker 1: over in your cars, call your mama, Neil, it's official.

- 13:40Speaker 1: their relationships. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: All right, Steve, time now for ask the CLO your
- 13:49Speaker 1: favorite segment. The Chief Love Officer is in the building.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Please submit your questions to Steve Harvey FM dot com.
- 13:56Speaker 1: This is one question from Sharon out of Kentucky, Steve.
- 14:00Speaker 1: She says, I'm a single mother and earlier this year,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I moved out of state and took my eleven year
- 14:05Speaker 1: old daughter with me. My daughter has had a hard
- 14:08Speaker 1: time adjusting, and now she tells me that she hates me.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I found out that she's been texting her dad saying
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'm verbally abusive and she needs to come live with him.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I can't get my ex husband to see that she's
- 14:21Speaker 1: being manipulative. He is a great dad, but I know
- 14:25Speaker 1: he's not ready to be a single dad. How can
- 14:28Speaker 1: I get my daughter to stop lying and acting out? Wow? Well,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I don't know who answer that I can give you
- 14:38Speaker 1: that keep me out of court. Yes, radio friendly. Yeah,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm trying to find the radio friendly. So I guess
- 14:46Speaker 1: I could say counseling. That's an answer. See. Oh no,
- 14:55Speaker 1: you're right that I could stop all this lyne at
- 14:58Speaker 1: my house. But you know you're not gonna do that,
- 15:02Speaker 1: So counseling. Next question. All right, here's go. Dante and Raleigh,
- 15:07Speaker 1: North Carolina says, I'm a young, hard working single guy
- 15:11Speaker 1: and I live outside the city. So I shop at
- 15:13Speaker 1: a small, family owned store that's close to my house.
- 15:16Speaker 1: The store is run by three middle age sisters that
- 15:20Speaker 1: look like that look like trolls. Three old women make
- 15:27Speaker 1: shopping a living hell for me. They say the most
- 15:30Speaker 1: inappropriate things to me and treat me like a piece
- 15:32Speaker 1: of meat. I don't want to be rude, so I've
- 15:34Speaker 1: been trying to ignore them. I would feel funny reporting
- 15:37Speaker 1: them to their dad. How can I get them to
- 15:40Speaker 1: leave me alone? Now? Where he say he lives? Shy,
- 15:44Speaker 1: He's in Raleigh, North Carolina's too Drive to a Walmart.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yea outside of Raleigh. I don't care. It's Walmart is
- 15:53Speaker 1: close by. Get your ass to a Walmart. I'm not
- 15:57Speaker 1: going in here take abuse from ugly people. I'm not
- 15:59Speaker 1: going to do it. That's what I'm not gonna do. Yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 1: I draw the line right here. If you cute, you
- 16:04Speaker 1: can talk to me bad sometimes, but if your little
- 16:08Speaker 1: troll looking as you can't say not a damn thing
- 16:11Speaker 1: to me because it comes cross different. You know, it
- 16:13Speaker 1: ain't even funny. You know, when qute people mess with you,
- 16:16Speaker 1: you go, oh, I'll see you go. You're ugly person,
- 16:19Speaker 1: say something to you, damn it. You know, you keep
- 16:24Speaker 1: that look on your face like, yeah, hey man, just
- 16:30Speaker 1: drive to Walmart. You and Raleigh. I know you live
- 16:32Speaker 1: outside Raleigh. You're trying to support local business, but you
- 16:35Speaker 1: ain't got to. Ugly people have ugly attitude. Just leave
- 16:40Speaker 1: them at that, true man, So Steve. This one's from
- 16:46Speaker 1: Kirby in New Jersey. Kirby says, my husband and I
- 16:49Speaker 1: are very active in our church, and our social life
- 16:53Speaker 1: was mostly events at church. I stopped going to church
- 16:56Speaker 1: when I found out my husband had an affair with
- 16:58Speaker 1: the church secretary and everyone knew it but me. My
- 17:03Speaker 1: husband confessed and broke down and cried. I told him
- 17:06Speaker 1: he needs to get in front of a congregation and
- 17:08Speaker 1: apologize to me. Church will reopen next Sunday, and he
- 17:13Speaker 1: said he will not do that. He's willing to throw
- 17:17Speaker 1: away twenty three years of marriage instead. Should I just
- 17:21Speaker 1: let him go? I don't know how the public apology
- 17:29Speaker 1: in front of the church's go make you feel any better,
- 17:32Speaker 1: be any less hurt, or be even more forgiving. I
- 17:37Speaker 1: don't know what it is about that that would make
- 17:40Speaker 1: it do now. I think what you're trying to do
- 17:43Speaker 1: is because you think everybody knew, and they didn't. Some
- 17:49Speaker 1: people knew, But when the story got out, Girl, I
- 17:52Speaker 1: saw him over there and I said, you know, you're
- 17:54Speaker 1: hearing a lot of that, and a lot of the
- 17:57Speaker 1: church members that found out you found out acted like
- 18:00Speaker 1: they was in the No suspicion and know is two
- 18:04Speaker 1: different things. So I think it's it doesn't make any
- 18:07Speaker 1: sense for you to ask him to do that. He's
- 18:10Speaker 1: not trying to throwing it away was the affair. He
- 18:13Speaker 1: broke down and cried. He said, I'm sorry that you
- 18:15Speaker 1: want him to publicly apologize to you, and he said
- 18:18Speaker 1: he's not gonna do that. Who goes to church to
- 18:20Speaker 1: stand up in front of the church to a That's
- 18:23Speaker 1: not what churches fall. Church is a place for forgiveness.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You don't go to church to confess, now unless y'all
- 18:31Speaker 1: Catholic and y'all got to boot up at the front
- 18:34Speaker 1: and they have confession. Didn't do that only too, it's
- 18:39Speaker 1: not right. But the ain't nobody got it where you
- 18:41Speaker 1: got to go stand up in front of everybody. Hey,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you don't know what's going on at that church. Half
- 18:45Speaker 1: your church probably need to stand up and say I'm
- 18:47Speaker 1: sorry to somebody about something. A matter of fact, all
- 18:50Speaker 1: of them and Stee she never even said how she
- 18:52Speaker 1: found out. So you're right, maybe everybody of the church
- 18:56Speaker 1: doesn't know. And if they do, so, how is that
- 19:01Speaker 1: gonna make you better? See? Yeah, I just don't see
- 19:04Speaker 1: how what that does for you. You're not loan that
- 19:07Speaker 1: line to be If that is a Baptist booth, you're
- 19:09Speaker 1: not a loan any Yeah, well short, so do you
- 19:15Speaker 1: know how long I have to stay in there? Yeah?
- 19:19Speaker 1: It was, sir, a Baptist booth. Sir, how long are
- 19:23Speaker 1: you in here with it? Mister hark, mister hark, what
- 19:28Speaker 1: is you in that set? Why are you crying again? Again?
- 19:35Speaker 1: If it was a Baptist booth, a Baptist booth. I
- 19:38Speaker 1: like that, like that instead of how I'll forgive you,
- 19:43Speaker 1: give you pentis for your sins. You'll be here. Man,
- 19:46Speaker 1: what man you lying? God dog man, I can't help
- 19:54Speaker 1: you with that. That party, now, Steve. They do in church,
- 19:58Speaker 1: you know, like if you've done something like say this
- 20:00Speaker 1: man is done and the pastor found out, they will
- 20:03Speaker 1: sit you down. If you have a prominent position in
- 20:05Speaker 1: the church, they will do what's called sitting. He got that.
- 20:08Speaker 1: She was the church circuitar. He ain't got no position, right,
- 20:12Speaker 1: She never said any of that. So, yeah, so she
- 20:15Speaker 1: wanted They real active though, he's something in the church.
- 20:18Speaker 1: They real active. Yeah, and he was mo active, very
- 20:24Speaker 1: very active. All right, well, thank you for your CLLO questions,
- 20:28Speaker 1: Thank you CLLO. Coming up next, it is the nephew
- 20:32Speaker 1: with run that prank back. Right after this. You're listening

- 21:16Speaker 1: She's never she's never mentioned me before. No she okay?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Everything cool? Oh no, no, no, your mom is good.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Let me let me tell you what's happening. So you
- 21:23Speaker 1: you're getting ready to graduate. You're feeling to get your masters, right, yeah,
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm giving my MBA. Okay. First of all, let me
- 21:28Speaker 1: just say congratulations to you. I'm proud of you. Your
- 21:31Speaker 1: mom been telling me about the whole journey, you know,
- 21:34Speaker 1: from from undergrad to to getting your you know, you're
- 21:38Speaker 1: getting your masters in business. So I just want to
- 21:40Speaker 1: come in you and say congratulations. All right, thank you, brother.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I appreciate that. But your mom ain't never, she ain't
- 21:46Speaker 1: never mentioned mister Reggie to you. Huh no, sorry, bro, Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 1: I got a little a situation that we got here. Man.
- 21:53Speaker 1: You know I've been seeing your mom for probably you know,
- 21:55Speaker 1: five six years now, and I just that's yeah, yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: So it kind of puzzles me that she never brought
- 22:02Speaker 1: up mister Reggie to you. No, no, she never brought
- 22:05Speaker 1: up the name mister Reggie. You know, I didn't even
- 22:07Speaker 1: know she had dating. To be honest with you, Okay,
- 22:09Speaker 1: So when you started undergrad, I'm the person that you know,
- 22:13Speaker 1: stepped up and gave your mom some money so she
- 22:15Speaker 1: could put you through school. You know, I knew she
- 22:18Speaker 1: needed some money to get you through school and started out,
- 22:21Speaker 1: you know, like I guess around your freshman year. So
- 22:23Speaker 1: I stepped up and you know, helped your mom out. Man.
- 22:26Speaker 1: This is bugged out, bro, because hold on, you're telling
- 22:30Speaker 1: me you gave my mother the money, because she told
- 22:32Speaker 1: me she got a couple of actual jobs on the
- 22:34Speaker 1: side to get some money to face for school. I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: the person that stepped up and through your undergrad I'm
- 22:41Speaker 1: the one gave your mom the moneys for you can
- 22:44Speaker 1: go to school. And I knew when you graduated from
- 22:47Speaker 1: undergrad and then she came back told me you're getting
- 22:50Speaker 1: ready to do grad school, and I stepped up some mode.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Here's one I'm getting that, man. I'm not even calling
- 22:55Speaker 1: mister Reggie mister Reggie and called you wanted me to
- 22:58Speaker 1: give you some money when I get a job? No, no,
- 23:02Speaker 1: nothing like that. So here's a deal, man, I didn't
- 23:05Speaker 1: give your mom all this money for six years. Now
- 23:08Speaker 1: here it is now you'veen to graduate, and now that
- 23:10Speaker 1: you've fend to graduate, she called herself, wont to break
- 23:14Speaker 1: up with me? So, bro, I mean, I don't know
- 23:16Speaker 1: nothing about that. That's between y'alls. Bro, I mean, what
- 23:19Speaker 1: do you want me to do? What I wanted to? Have?
- 23:21Speaker 1: You heard your name before, so I mean, and I
- 23:24Speaker 1: understand that, but what I'm saying, what I'm getting that
- 23:26Speaker 1: is just right here. I would like for you to
- 23:28Speaker 1: least call your mama and say something to it on
- 23:31Speaker 1: my behalf because you know, come on, man, I didn't
- 23:33Speaker 1: put six years in put you all the way through
- 23:35Speaker 1: school and now your behalf I really don't. I mean,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I don't know you. I mean, what do you want
- 23:42Speaker 1: me to say on your behalf? But you don't understand
- 23:44Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you. David, mister reggid and
- 23:47Speaker 1: stuck his neck out for you for the last six years.
- 23:49Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. Listen, man, I don't even
- 23:52Speaker 1: know you. You're calling me out the blue talking about
- 23:55Speaker 1: you gave my mama some money and then went up
- 23:57Speaker 1: for five years. I don't know you. I never heard
- 23:59Speaker 1: you name, never heard of mister Reggie. You just called
- 24:03Speaker 1: me out the blue. It's some trippy right now. Man, Okay, okay,
- 24:06Speaker 1: I understand, understanding. Look at acor you call your your ex.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Girl's fun like, come on, hold on, hold on, this
- 24:16Speaker 1: ain't no ex girl. We we've been up y'all, up
- 24:23Speaker 1: to up to last week. Up to last week. I
- 24:25Speaker 1: didn't paid for you to go to school six years nine.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Here it is, she want to break up with me.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I don't know about that, man, Like I don't know
- 24:32Speaker 1: why y'all broke up. I don't know nothing about that.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Maybe and then you called me out the blue and
- 24:36Speaker 1: I don't even know you. She never mentioned you. At
- 24:39Speaker 1: least you at least you can do what's called on
- 24:41Speaker 1: my behalf and say, hey, what's going on with you?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna have I don't know who you are. I'm
- 24:47Speaker 1: the person. I'm the person and put your the last
- 24:49Speaker 1: through schools. Hey, the text I went to the school.
- 24:52Speaker 1: We had my mama's name on him, not no damn,
- 24:54Speaker 1: mister Retchi. So hey, bro, I'm sorry it is no,
- 24:59Speaker 1: it ain't no he what it is? I don't put
- 25:00Speaker 1: your little ass through school. Now, your mamma want to
- 25:03Speaker 1: run out on me? I don't want to date me. No, Mo.
- 25:05Speaker 1: That's some boys right there, man, and you need to
- 25:08Speaker 1: have a little respect for somebody that's then took care
- 25:10Speaker 1: of your little last back. I don't even know you.
- 25:12Speaker 1: What are you talking about to care of me? I
- 25:13Speaker 1: don't even know your guy? Who are you, mister Reggie?
- 25:16Speaker 1: What kind of the name is that You usually go
- 25:18Speaker 1: by your last name Reggie? People go by my first name.
- 25:21Speaker 1: My first name is. My first name is Reginald. People
- 25:24Speaker 1: call me mister Reggie, and you're gonna do the same. No,
- 25:27Speaker 1: I just called you red man. Come on, Rech, I'm
- 25:30Speaker 1: good like I don't know what Okay, Let let let
- 25:33Speaker 1: me say this here. All I'm asking for but you
- 25:36Speaker 1: need to call her and take care of this yourself.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Leave me out this sorry, brother, Now look here, you
- 25:42Speaker 1: owe me a little respect, and you owe me at
- 25:44Speaker 1: least you know whatever I'm asking you to do. I
- 25:46Speaker 1: don't know who you are? You calling me talking about
- 25:51Speaker 1: called my mama? You used to date. I don't know
- 25:52Speaker 1: who the you up? You're talking about? How old you
- 25:55Speaker 1: some respect? Are you crazy? Okay, you get my mamma
- 25:58Speaker 1: anyway you wish you're my mamma. I don't. I've been
- 26:01Speaker 1: had your number and I didn't spend I didn't spend
- 26:04Speaker 1: thousands of thousands of dollars on your little lads. I've
- 26:06Speaker 1: been had your money. Come come. You ain't come to
- 26:09Speaker 1: an undergrad graduation? What I need to come to that for?
- 26:11Speaker 1: I did my job. I took care of your little
- 26:13Speaker 1: lass man. You ain't take care man. You need to
- 26:16Speaker 1: get the phone off my phone. Bro. Okay, you know what,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna go by your mama house. I'm gonna go
- 26:20Speaker 1: by there, and you know what, I'm gonna deal with
- 26:22Speaker 1: her ass today. My damn sir, Look, I'm trying to
- 26:25Speaker 1: be her suspectful. Is I care? But if I hear
- 26:27Speaker 1: about you going about my mother's house, I'm gonna whoops
- 26:30Speaker 1: your mother ass. You're gonna get your ass with by
- 26:33Speaker 1: somebody with an NBA must be ass. I'm gonna you
- 26:36Speaker 1: up to fight. Hear you went by my mother's house?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Did you listening to me? Mister Red? And no, I
- 26:40Speaker 1: ain't listening to you. I don't know nothing about you.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Once I get off this phone, I'm gonna call and
- 26:44Speaker 1: ask about the lister Retchie. But there, I'm gonna you up.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I'm going buy your mama house because you ain't gonna
- 26:52Speaker 1: just break up me up the six years I got
- 26:53Speaker 1: and put the little board through school. Well that's what
- 26:56Speaker 1: you get for being a sucker. To sound like you
- 27:00Speaker 1: up a victim of Why know you ain't sitting here
- 27:04Speaker 1: calling me, no sucker. You sound like a sucker. God,
- 27:08Speaker 1: let me hit you win by there. It's gonna be
- 27:10Speaker 1: a problem. There's gonna be some smoke in the city.
- 27:12Speaker 1: What about What about Jarvis? Jarvis? Jarvis? Gotta do with this?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Jarvis a few up to you go by there? He
- 27:19Speaker 1: grew up with my mother. How do you know Jarvis anyway?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Because job has called me. He told me to call you.
- 27:25Speaker 1: This is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your boy Jarvis. What old
- 27:36Speaker 1: to hold on? Hold on, hold on? Jarvis told you
- 27:40Speaker 1: call to say you should do my mother and pay
- 27:44Speaker 1: my way from college. Jars of this. This is Tommy Baby,
- 27:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Mornings show. Your boy Jarvis got me to
- 27:52Speaker 1: prank you. Man. He said, Man, my boyfriend you graduated
- 27:54Speaker 1: getting his NBA. He said, you got to do it,
- 27:56Speaker 1: mister Timmy. I said, all right, all right, tell me
- 27:58Speaker 1: all about it so I can't him up with this
- 28:00Speaker 1: little story. He said, Oh my god. He said, man,
- 28:02Speaker 1: his mom is his heart. Man as his heart. I said,
- 28:05Speaker 1: all right, cool, that's where we're going with. My grandmother
- 28:10Speaker 1: always said, don't be friends with and thank Jarvis. Hey, man,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you gotta give it to me, baby, give it to me.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Rate twenty twenty. Mister MBA, you've been to get your
- 28:23Speaker 1: paper in the next week. And so what is the
- 28:25Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land,
- 28:28Speaker 1: Steve in the Water Show. All right, thank you, nephew,
- 28:35Speaker 1: coming up, mister Reggie coming up at the top of
- 28:38Speaker 1: the hour. We'll have some entertainment and national news for you.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 28:48Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes, nephew Tommy's wellness check in with
- 28:52Speaker 1: one of our low loyal, loyal listeners. But first President
- 28:56Speaker 1: Trump did a one on one interview with David Muir
- 28:59Speaker 1: from eighties see news, and they talked about COVID nineteen
- 29:03Speaker 1: testing and the nation's stockpile. Take a listen. So right now,
- 29:08Speaker 1: for any American worker who's nervous about going back, if
- 29:11Speaker 1: they want to get tested to see if they've been
- 29:13Speaker 1: exposed to the virus, they can have access to Voltana
- 29:16Speaker 1: test problem and they should have no problem. And as
- 29:19Speaker 1: good as this is, we're even getting better. We came up.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Don't forget the cupboard was bare. The other administration, the
- 29:25Speaker 1: last administration left us nothing. We didn't have ventilators, we
- 29:29Speaker 1: didn't have medical equipment, we didn't have testing. The tests
- 29:31Speaker 1: were broken. You saw that we had broken tests. They
- 29:35Speaker 1: left us nothing, and we've taken it and we have
- 29:37Speaker 1: built an incredible stockpile, a stockpile like we've never had before.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Many people have heard you say that along the way
- 29:43Speaker 1: and have wondered, though you know, you're three years into
- 29:46Speaker 1: your first term, you're now applying for the job again,
- 29:49Speaker 1: what did you do when you became president to restock
- 29:52Speaker 1: those cupboards that you say were bare. Well, I'll be honest,
- 29:55Speaker 1: I have a lot of things going on. We had
- 29:58Speaker 1: a lot of people that refused to allow the country
- 30:02Speaker 1: to be successful. They wasted a lot of time on Russia, Russia, Russia.
- 30:06Speaker 1: That turned out to be a total hoax. Then they
- 30:08Speaker 1: did Ukraine, Ukraine, and that was a total hoax. He
- 30:12Speaker 1: also said the coronavirus was a total hoax too. Yeah,
- 30:15Speaker 1: of that too. Yeah. He just not answering the question,
- 30:18Speaker 1: and why is he always blaming Obama? The Obama administration
- 30:26Speaker 1: formed a Pandemic task Force as soon as he became president,
- 30:33Speaker 1: erased a hundred some things that had happened in the
- 30:37Speaker 1: Obama administration just with stroke of a pen because he could.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And that was one of the things. Don't believe for
- 30:44Speaker 1: a minute that the administration before left you with nothing
- 30:49Speaker 1: because we had time to ramp up when we have
- 30:52Speaker 1: listened to me, since we've been on this lockdown since March.
- 30:56Speaker 1: If we and it's just May one, two five, whatever
- 30:59Speaker 1: it is, we let's forty some days in right, we
- 31:02Speaker 1: lose track of the dates. If in January February, had
- 31:09Speaker 1: he reacted, we would have had time, since we have
- 31:14Speaker 1: such a surplus now, had we reacted, instead of calling
- 31:19Speaker 1: it a hoax and letting everything play out in Spain
- 31:23Speaker 1: and Italy and China the way it did before, we
- 31:25Speaker 1: did a damn thing about it, and New York became
- 31:29Speaker 1: the epics, the epicenter, epicenter of the disease. We wouldn't
- 31:35Speaker 1: even be in this position. This guy is shifting blame
- 31:39Speaker 1: like he always does. We got to be smart this election, y'all.
- 31:44Speaker 1: You cannot let this guy blame everybody. He don't take
- 31:47Speaker 1: no responsibility. All that time he was talking about it
- 31:50Speaker 1: was a hoax. It's a fluke. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And
- 31:53Speaker 1: then you blame the Obama administration. And when Obama tried
- 31:58Speaker 1: to get the stockpile up, when he tried to put
- 32:01Speaker 1: more stuff in, Congress did not vote for that. They
- 32:04Speaker 1: followed against him doing that, refilling the stockpile. So now
- 32:08Speaker 1: you get in three years later. Also, for three years,
- 32:11Speaker 1: you didn't do anything. You didn't do anything against Russia
- 32:15Speaker 1: and Carl. Russia and Ukraine had nothing to do with
- 32:19Speaker 1: you restock in this one program exactly. And it wasn't
- 32:23Speaker 1: a hoax. You were impeached because of the Ukraine incident.
- 32:30Speaker 1: It's just the majority Senate saved Joe as right, but
- 32:34Speaker 1: you were still impeached. You were still you was gone. Yeah,
- 32:39Speaker 1: all right, Steve, let's go to miss Anne. Please, all right, ladies,
- 32:43Speaker 1: and gentlemen, get ready, miss Anne Tripp here it comes.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, This is a trip with the news.
- 32:48Speaker 1: President Trump has reversed another decision, this one announced only
- 32:51Speaker 1: a couple of days ago. Trump now says that he
- 32:54Speaker 1: will not order the COVID nineteen virus task for US
- 32:57Speaker 1: to wrap up its work and hand over what's left
- 32:59Speaker 1: to other governmental agencies. In fact, the President now says
- 33:03Speaker 1: that he'll even increase the size of the task force
- 33:05Speaker 1: by next week. He says he didn't know how popular
- 33:07Speaker 1: it was, He says, though he has remained focused on
- 33:10Speaker 1: reopening the nation's economy. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill heard from
- 33:14Speaker 1: public health experts meanwhile yesterday about the nation's response to
- 33:18Speaker 1: the coronavirus pandemic. Doctor Tom Frieden, the former head of
- 33:21Speaker 1: the Centers for Disease Control, delivered a dire prediction before
- 33:25Speaker 1: a House Appropriation subcommittee. Badly looking at the US as
- 33:28Speaker 1: a whole, just calculating forward from the number of people
- 33:32Speaker 1: whose infections have already been documented, there will be tragically
- 33:36Speaker 1: at least one hundred thousand deaths from COVID by the
- 33:39Speaker 1: end of this month. Very very scary. In Chicago, an
- 33:42Speaker 1: African American lawmaker says he was stopped by a cop
- 33:45Speaker 1: when he left a store. Why because he was wearing
- 33:48Speaker 1: a mask to cart against COVID nineteen. Illinois Representative Cam
- 33:52Speaker 1: Buckner says that he was dressed casually, you know, like
- 33:55Speaker 1: other shoppers. He was wearing a protective mask like everyone else.
- 34:00Speaker 1: When an officer has to see his receipt and his ID,
- 34:03Speaker 1: he complied. He was told by the cop that he
- 34:05Speaker 1: looked like he was quote up to something anyway. Illinois
- 34:08Speaker 1: Governor JB. Pritzer very embarrassed by this whole thing. He says,
- 34:12Speaker 1: the situation pretty much does look like what he thinks
- 34:15Speaker 1: it is. It's something that we're looking into. We obviously
- 34:19Speaker 1: believe that there is discriminatory behavior taking place here, so
- 34:24Speaker 1: we're gonna make sure that we try to address it.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Representative Buckner says, the pandemic is revealing what's already broken
- 34:30Speaker 1: in this society. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg participated
- 34:34Speaker 1: in the High Courts work by telephone yesterday. Justice Ginsburg
- 34:38Speaker 1: underwent a non surgical treatment earlier this week for reportedly
- 34:42Speaker 1: benign gall bladder condition. Ginsberg is eighty seven years old.
- 34:46Speaker 1: She has survived cancer four times, and first it was
- 34:49Speaker 1: toilet paper, now it's meat. Through the temporary shutdowns of
- 34:52Speaker 1: meat packing plants across the country due to cases of
- 34:55Speaker 1: coronavirus infection, Kroger, the largest supermarket chain in the US,
- 35:00Speaker 1: is limiting the amount of ground beef and pork that
- 35:02Speaker 1: people can buy there. Costco. You know, people pay like
- 35:05Speaker 1: money to join Costco. Customers buying bulks there will Costco
- 35:08Speaker 1: has placed a three product cap on purchases of fresh beef, poultry,
- 35:13Speaker 1: and pork at Costco. In fact, Monday, about one fifth
- 35:17Speaker 1: of the nation's Wendy's restaurants, over a thousand outlets, We're
- 35:20Speaker 1: completely out of Hamburgers, leaving folks with the obvious question,
- 35:24Speaker 1: why is the beef? Hey, what's the name? You tell him, Clara,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 35:31Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. All right, the nephew has
- 35:35Speaker 1: been doing these wellness check ins. He's been doing them
- 35:38Speaker 1: with some of our most loyal listeners. Tommy, such a
- 35:41Speaker 1: great job you've been doing. Let's take a listen to
- 35:43Speaker 1: this one. Hello, Miss Deborah, Miss Debora, this is nephew
- 35:49Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. Baby, how are
- 35:52Speaker 1: you doing? I am doing good. I am giving you
- 35:54Speaker 1: a wellness check on behalf of the Steve Harvey Mourning Show.
- 35:57Speaker 1: We're calling our fans across the country and we've making
- 36:00Speaker 1: sure you are all are safe doing COVID nineteen. You're
- 36:02Speaker 1: doing all right. I'm doing wonderful And I work at
- 36:05Speaker 1: the hospital. How was that going, Doughing? How are you
- 36:07Speaker 1: on a day to day basis? Well, besides taking my
- 36:10Speaker 1: babies to the daycare. Heading the word working, we do
- 36:14Speaker 1: have to wear a mask. What exactly you do at
- 36:16Speaker 1: the hospital? I'm in the kidsen, I cook, and I
- 36:19Speaker 1: prepare the meals for the elderly death in the nursing home. Well,
- 36:22Speaker 1: let me tell you something. We are we're calling around
- 36:24Speaker 1: making sure people like you are safe, making sure we
- 36:26Speaker 1: recognize people like you because we definitely appreciate what you're doing.
- 36:30Speaker 1: You're putting yourself on on the front line, and uh,
- 36:33Speaker 1: you know, we just want to call it and commend
- 36:34Speaker 1: you on the dollar. Thank you. And I listened to
- 36:36Speaker 1: y'all every morning. Man, y'all be having me holling in
- 36:39Speaker 1: my bedroom getting ready for work. That's a good thing. Hey,
- 36:43Speaker 1: how many kids you got you say you drop your
- 36:45Speaker 1: kids off at daycare? Right, I got three. I got
- 36:47Speaker 1: a fifteen year old. He stays home in the two
- 36:49Speaker 1: year old and the nine years go to daycare. How
- 36:51Speaker 1: do you feel about that, Miss Devor? That is that
- 36:53Speaker 1: kind of difficult when you're dropping them off at daycare?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Do you feel a little unsure when you do something
- 36:57Speaker 1: like that because they do the daycare they do that
- 37:00Speaker 1: baby's the same way they do it before we getting that.
- 37:02Speaker 1: They do our tempt or and if you got a fever,
- 37:04Speaker 1: they would not let you in there. That's so they
- 37:07Speaker 1: take them baby's temper. They get in there, and then
- 37:09Speaker 1: from taking their tempt they don't have attempt. They let
- 37:11Speaker 1: him go on in. But if they got tempt they
- 37:13Speaker 1: do them like they do is they send them back
- 37:15Speaker 1: home when you out of Georgia. Baby, So tell me this.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I want you to say whatever you'd like to say
- 37:21Speaker 1: to all the people that are listening, especially people that
- 37:24Speaker 1: get up in like you, that are going to work
- 37:26Speaker 1: and doing and putting yourself on the front line. What
- 37:28Speaker 1: would you like to tell especially these people that don't
- 37:30Speaker 1: want to stay home. What would you like to say
- 37:31Speaker 1: to these people? I just tell them you know sometimes
- 37:35Speaker 1: obedience is better than sacrifice. Listen to your elders. I
- 37:39Speaker 1: can't say what I want to say about our president.
- 37:42Speaker 1: God God gonna bless him. But anyway, you know, obedience
- 37:46Speaker 1: sacrifice you say, don't do but they are dude. Then
- 37:50Speaker 1: you say, dude, they won't do it. So on the
- 37:53Speaker 1: advice I can give them, just learn to They don't
- 37:56Speaker 1: want pat we tell them, and patience they ain't even
- 37:59Speaker 1: in their Voca lary. You know. They want a man,
- 38:02Speaker 1: but they don't want to go out to cinema man.
- 38:04Speaker 1: They want to go out and fix them up a man.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Then when it's all cooking crazy, then I've had this man.
- 38:10Speaker 1: He did to me. But that's the man you chose.
- 38:12Speaker 1: If you want something, you'll sit and wait on it.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Be patient. That's from Miss Debra right there, Miss Devil.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Tell her all of what's the baddest radio show in
- 38:21Speaker 1: the land is calling and making show? We gotta well
- 38:23Speaker 1: on this check across the country? Who is it the
- 38:26Speaker 1: Steve Harby Warning Show with that crazy Tommy. Let's jesus, yeah, Tommy,
- 38:31Speaker 1: she died that val Dalston. I knew you was gonna
- 38:35Speaker 1: know exactly where she was. We'll be back at thirty
- 38:37Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, right after this, you're listening
- 38:41Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Morning Show. Well, we told you yesterday about
- 38:46Speaker 1: this horrific news story. This young man twenty five years old.
- 38:50Speaker 1: His name is a mod Arbory. He was an unarmed
- 38:53Speaker 1: black man gunned down and killed while he was jogging
- 38:57Speaker 1: in a neighborhood just outside of Brunswick, Georgia, in February.
- 39:01Speaker 1: This was back in February. Now, as family lawyer said,
- 39:05Speaker 1: just like you said yesterday, Steve, check this out. He said,
- 39:09Speaker 1: skip the grand jury, and he's asking the Georgia District
- 39:13Speaker 1: attorney to arrest the shooter. The video killing of Ahmad
- 39:18Speaker 1: Arbury has sparked national outrage. Aarbury's family lawyer, Lee Merritt
- 39:23Speaker 1: said it's time to take the shooter, Travis McMichael and
- 39:26Speaker 1: his father in for custody. Take a listen. They have
- 39:29Speaker 1: passed the puck down to the grand jury. The Georgia's
- 39:32Speaker 1: Supreme Court suspended the grand jury's due to the coronavirus.
- 39:36Speaker 1: They're supposed to reconvene in mid June. We don't have
- 39:39Speaker 1: to wait for a grand jury to be convened. The
- 39:42Speaker 1: district attorney can issue in arrest quarrant right now and
- 39:45Speaker 1: have these men picked up. And that's what we're demanding
- 39:47Speaker 1: that the law enforcement community stop what they're doing right now,
- 39:50Speaker 1: stop the debate, stop at the conversation, stop the press release,
- 39:54Speaker 1: and go arrest these men and then pick the conversation
- 39:56Speaker 1: back up. I saw the video horrific. I saw what happened.
- 40:03Speaker 1: The crazy thing was after he shot the boy once
- 40:07Speaker 1: and the dude was just trying to hold a barrel
- 40:09Speaker 1: of the gun. He d shot his man with a
- 40:11Speaker 1: shotgun in his frontal area. He was just hanging on
- 40:15Speaker 1: to the gun. He shot him again, Doc, you could
- 40:20Speaker 1: have pushed him. He made He might have lived, but
- 40:23Speaker 1: his daddy jumped out the truck and his daddy had
- 40:27Speaker 1: a handgun. So what was his father going to do? Look, man,
- 40:33Speaker 1: this is murdered man. Yeah, and on our man, everybody,
- 40:37Speaker 1: you got a shotgun? Your daddy jumped out with a gun,
- 40:40Speaker 1: y'all just gonna kill this boy? Did oh? Man, y'all,
- 40:45Speaker 1: man get out of here. And like I said, what's
- 40:47Speaker 1: the grand jury for, right? Yeah? It's necessary. Yeah. His
- 40:54Speaker 1: attorney Lee married Steve went on to say that he
- 40:57Speaker 1: smells corruption because shooters father Greg McMichael used to work
- 41:02Speaker 1: for the DA's office, like we told you yesterday. But
- 41:04Speaker 1: the video is all the evidence needed for the DA
- 41:07Speaker 1: to issue and arrest warrants. So what are they waiting on?
- 41:11Speaker 1: You look foreverdence to issue a warrant? You watched this
- 41:15Speaker 1: unarmed black guy get shot and killed. What what what's
- 41:21Speaker 1: the grand jury for? Well, it looked like he was
- 41:24Speaker 1: attacking the man with the gun. I'm telling you what
- 41:27Speaker 1: they do in these rooms, y'all. When those peers get
- 41:32Speaker 1: in a room or by themselves and you got one
- 41:36Speaker 1: of them, people go, well, what was it doing over there?
- 41:38Speaker 1: Running for? And he starts putting that seed in the
- 41:41Speaker 1: rest of them head. And since they all live in
- 41:43Speaker 1: those communities, they don't want to be the one to say, well,
- 41:47Speaker 1: he killed this black guy. You know, he was attacking him.
- 41:52Speaker 1: That's what happened to Rodney King. Yeah, he just kept
- 41:55Speaker 1: attacking him. I was going, what video y'all watching, they
- 42:00Speaker 1: see something completely different than what than what on the tape.
- 42:05Speaker 1: What happened to Michael Brown was absurd. You can't watch
- 42:11Speaker 1: and it's just it's on and on and on and
- 42:13Speaker 1: on it and we we are we are beyond sick
- 42:17Speaker 1: of it. Yeah, but what they do is they drag
- 42:20Speaker 1: it out to the further go down. That's just like
- 42:22Speaker 1: they do people that go on strike in companies, big business.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Just let them stay out there till the crowd died out,
- 42:28Speaker 1: and then there's two people pickted. Yeah. I can't believe
- 42:32Speaker 1: there was footage of it. I can't believe it was.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Thank God for this whoever shot it, it was footage
- 42:37Speaker 1: and it didn't get out. Yeah, how can you watch
- 42:40Speaker 1: it and not see what really happened? That they murdered
- 42:44Speaker 1: this man in cold blood? How can you watch that
- 42:46Speaker 1: tape and not to see that? And you know what
- 42:49Speaker 1: the sad thing is here they co guess. Well, you
- 42:52Speaker 1: know he had a shoplifting conviction, Yeah, shoplifting looking in
- 42:57Speaker 1: that house in that area at the house where we're
- 43:02Speaker 1: I have shoplifting conviction. But I got to die for that,
- 43:06Speaker 1: That's what exactly. Yeah, he didn't do anything. He was running.
- 43:11Speaker 1: He's kids do any of this if you're black in America,
- 43:18Speaker 1: Just that he's black, because, like you say, if this
- 43:21Speaker 1: was a white kid, this would not have turned that way. Yeah,
- 43:25Speaker 1: it got shot twice. Yeah, so we'll be watching and
- 43:29Speaker 1: following this story. Of course, we're gonna switch gears here
- 43:32Speaker 1: and coming up next, Nephew in the building with today's
- 43:35Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to show
- 43:41Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 43:43Speaker 1: four minutes after it's my strawberry letter for today, subject
- 43:47Speaker 1: my husband is obsessed with and X. Okay, my husband
- 43:52Speaker 1: is obsessed with an X. Right now, Nephew in the
- 43:55Speaker 1: building with today's prank phone call. What you got for us,
- 43:57Speaker 1: NEPs idiot? Hello, Hello, I am trying to reach George Police.
- 44:07Speaker 1: My name is Marcus from with WCS. Uh callin see
- 44:11Speaker 1: if we can actually try to lend you our services.
- 44:14Speaker 1: We understand that you're having a few problems and want
- 44:16Speaker 1: to see if maybe WCS can bring a better life
- 44:20Speaker 1: to you and you can have an exciting life better
- 44:23Speaker 1: than the one you have. Now. Who is it? We
- 44:27Speaker 1: are with Wife Correctional Services, Sir. WCS. What it is
- 44:31Speaker 1: is we take your wife for a couple of weeks
- 44:33Speaker 1: and we reprogram them so that it's of course, you
- 44:36Speaker 1: have to sign a waiver contract, but we take your
- 44:38Speaker 1: wife and we reprogram them so that they will act
- 44:41Speaker 1: in a fashion of what you want them to act. Oh, okay, Okay, whatever,
- 44:47Speaker 1: c sir. What it is that we've gotten some We've
- 44:48Speaker 1: gotten some reports that you've been having some problems with
- 44:52Speaker 1: with your particular wife. And we're here in Saint Louis, sir, Okay,
- 44:59Speaker 1: and don't worry. We're totally confidential. This is not anything
- 45:02Speaker 1: that's gonna get out. Um, and and your your names
- 45:06Speaker 1: are never submitted. First of all, here's here's something we
- 45:08Speaker 1: can do. I can ask you questions because we've been
- 45:10Speaker 1: notified that this is probably a service that you would
- 45:13Speaker 1: probably want. Now, Um, has your wife ever snapped on
- 45:17Speaker 1: you in public? And snapped on me? I mean what
- 45:20Speaker 1: I mean? She My wife ain't crazy. She don't just
- 45:23Speaker 1: snap on me. She might, you know, try to check
- 45:26Speaker 1: me or say something. You know what I'm saying. She's
- 45:28Speaker 1: just gonna snap on me in public. So your wife
- 45:30Speaker 1: your so, your wife has tried to check you, It's
- 45:32Speaker 1: what you're saying. May not check me, per se. I
- 45:34Speaker 1: mean she might. She might not like some mom doing
- 45:37Speaker 1: and might say something about it. But so basically your
- 45:40Speaker 1: wife is not in her place where she needs to
- 45:42Speaker 1: be hold on. I mean what you mean play? I
- 45:45Speaker 1: mean she might say something, you know, I mean I
- 45:47Speaker 1: might be doing something more, you know, might be with
- 45:50Speaker 1: my boys and might get out of control a little bit.
- 45:52Speaker 1: She might just say something at the time, but she
- 45:54Speaker 1: don't just try to all out check nobody. You know
- 45:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Okay, okay, okay, I'll tell you what.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Let me ask you this one. Have you ever just
- 46:00Speaker 1: had some plans with your guys, We're gonna go out,
- 46:02Speaker 1: and had to change your plans because um, your wife. Well,
- 46:06Speaker 1: I mean, if if like I'm just come about hanging
- 46:09Speaker 1: out and I ain't let her know or something, she
- 46:11Speaker 1: might you know, be like, well, baby already had plans,
- 46:13Speaker 1: you know, can you stay home with the boys or something.
- 46:16Speaker 1: But I mean, I mean nothing on the regular, you
- 46:18Speaker 1: know how I usually do what I want to do.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Seems like denial. Okay, here's another one, sir, Well, no,
- 46:24Speaker 1: just listen, hear me out. Now. Let me ask you this.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Um has your wife? Let's say, back when Michael Jordan
- 46:30Speaker 1: was playing basketball, did you ever miss a playoff game
- 46:33Speaker 1: on television because your wife wanted to watch something else?
- 46:36Speaker 1: I mean, we got two TVs in my house. Man,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I wish no, I don't even get down. I mean
- 46:40Speaker 1: I might have to watch the little TV. Okay, but
- 46:43Speaker 1: I mean I usually watch it on the big shaly. Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 1: But but you doing You've been pushed to watching the
- 46:50Speaker 1: smaller television. Now, I wouldn't push to do nothing. Man.
- 46:52Speaker 1: What I'm trying to tell you is, I mean we compromise.
- 46:54Speaker 1: We do fifty fifty in my house. I mean, she
- 46:56Speaker 1: might get the big TV to watch her stories or something,
- 46:59Speaker 1: and I just had to go out to little TV.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Let TV do go out of here. Wants to see there.
- 47:03Speaker 1: We got so cool with that though. I'm cool with that.
- 47:06Speaker 1: You're cool with that. So you're that You're actually the
- 47:09Speaker 1: one that's programmed. And you ain't nothing wrong with my wife.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with within my family? You know what
- 47:15Speaker 1: I understand? Well, let me the reason why I'm asking
- 47:17Speaker 1: you these particular questions is because someone has actually let
- 47:21Speaker 1: me know the problems that are at hand in your household.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Let me ask you. I got one question for you.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Here's what I want to ask you. Has your wife
- 47:28Speaker 1: ever cussed you out at a family cookout? Hey? Man,
- 47:31Speaker 1: hold on, man, you know what you're getting a little personal? Man?
- 47:34Speaker 1: Is this even legal? Man? I'm here, I'm here. I
- 47:39Speaker 1: never heard of this company. Man, I've never heard of.
- 47:43Speaker 1: This is something new. It's definitely saying something new. I mean,
- 47:46Speaker 1: don't make me be your guinea pig. Don't don't start
- 47:48Speaker 1: out calling me trying to get you know, referrals, the
- 47:51Speaker 1: clientele or whatever it is you trying to do. Man,
- 47:54Speaker 1: don't call me with this nonsense. Partner and I completely
- 47:57Speaker 1: understand it. Wcs sir, is here to benefit you, No
- 48:02Speaker 1: benefit to me. Man, getting I look at my personal
- 48:04Speaker 1: business one and what's going on in mind? Household? Okay, well,
- 48:07Speaker 1: last thing I want to ask you, and this is
- 48:09Speaker 1: the last question I have for you. Make it. Make
- 48:11Speaker 1: this the last I want straight up? Okay, have you
- 48:15Speaker 1: do you do? Do you buy your own clothes? Or
- 48:17Speaker 1: does she buy the clothes? You know what? Man? This man?
- 48:20Speaker 1: You whatever company this is dog, don't call House no more?
- 48:24Speaker 1: And whatever put you up to this? Whoever give you
- 48:26Speaker 1: my number talking about my wife? Checked me or got
- 48:30Speaker 1: me under control? Got me on lock man? You tell
- 48:32Speaker 1: him too, don't call me no more? What are you are? You?
- 48:36Speaker 1: Are you in denying? Don't call house no more? I'm
- 48:40Speaker 1: gonna tell you what. George Foreman or whatever, it's Marcus,
- 48:44Speaker 1: it's Marcus pocus. Whoever you are George Foreman, Marcus. Hey,
- 48:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna find a one. Yeah,
- 48:51Speaker 1: I'm located. Dog, I'm coming down there, and I'm gonna
- 48:53Speaker 1: push on as you in my personal pre you're ready,
- 48:56Speaker 1: you're ready to retaliate on me, but you don't want
- 48:59Speaker 1: to italiate on the problems you have with your wife. Retaliation. Man,
- 49:03Speaker 1: When I'm saying you're calling my house, I'm minding my own.
- 49:07Speaker 1: And if you're worried about who you're watching on TV
- 49:09Speaker 1: in my house and my wife checking me in public,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I watched the man. Hey, doll, look, I'm telling mister,
- 49:15Speaker 1: don't you want to watch the big television? Big TV? Man,
- 49:18Speaker 1: I'm comfortable with the TV I got. You know what
- 49:20Speaker 1: I'm saying. It's in my room. I can eat across
- 49:22Speaker 1: the bed, watch whatever I want, you whenever I want.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Don't you want to be able to go out with
- 49:27Speaker 1: the bus when you want to go out with my partners? Doll?
- 49:29Speaker 1: Not a fact you need to get partners? You call
- 49:32Speaker 1: asking dumb. Listen what you want to do to me
- 49:35Speaker 1: and your wife has already done to you. I see
- 49:38Speaker 1: you got the damn number block. What's your phone up, man,
- 49:41Speaker 1: give me something, Tell me where to find you. Why
- 49:43Speaker 1: are you in denial? Denial? I'm gonna tell you what's
- 49:47Speaker 1: you need to get your wife checked in the wife

- 51:31Speaker 1: is Strawberry letter. All right, thank your nephew. Subject my
- 51:35Speaker 1: husband is obsessed with an ex Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 51:39Speaker 1: hope my husband is listening today because I have a
- 51:42Speaker 1: problem with him, and he thinks it's no big deal.
- 51:45Speaker 1: My problem is that my husband is obsessed with an
- 51:48Speaker 1: ex girlfriend that he dated thirty five years ago. She
- 51:53Speaker 1: was very beautiful and popular when she was in high school,
- 51:56Speaker 1: and he was the star football player. When he went
- 51:59Speaker 1: off to college. She married a wealthy older guy that
- 52:02Speaker 1: owns several businesses in town. Then she moved to Texas
- 52:06Speaker 1: and my husband lost contact with her. Fast forward to
- 52:09Speaker 1: present day. My husband and I have been married for
- 52:12Speaker 1: eighteen years and social media has become mainstream, so my
- 52:17Speaker 1: husband has sort of recommended or reconnected, I should say,
- 52:22Speaker 1: with his high school sweetheart. By sort of, I mean
- 52:26Speaker 1: that he stalks her social media pages and drools over
- 52:29Speaker 1: all of her pictures daily. I don't think she even
- 52:33Speaker 1: knows he exists. How do I know all of this?
- 52:37Speaker 1: He told me all about her, and I see him
- 52:40Speaker 1: looking at her pictures all day. She is still very beautiful,
- 52:44Speaker 1: and I think she's had surgery on her body, but
- 52:47Speaker 1: she looks great. I told my husband that his behavior
- 52:51Speaker 1: is very inappropriate, and he said she's like a celebrity
- 52:54Speaker 1: and she lives one thousand miles away, so it's harmless
- 52:57Speaker 1: fun for him. He told me it's like me obsessing
- 53:00Speaker 1: over Denzel. The other day, I reached my breaking point.
- 53:05Speaker 1: He shared a story their sexual experiences and how she
- 53:10Speaker 1: turned him out. He said it was the best sex
- 53:14Speaker 1: he's ever had, and that really hurt me. He told me,
- 53:18Speaker 1: I am being too sensitive. I am ready to hurt
- 53:22Speaker 1: this man if he keeps being disrespectful. Maybe, just maybe
- 53:27Speaker 1: am I being too sensitive and jealous? Should I let
- 53:30Speaker 1: this go or bust his head? Yeah? Girl, go on
- 53:35Speaker 1: and bust his head on this one, because he's just
- 53:39Speaker 1: being really disrespectful, not to mention stupid. I mean, he's
- 53:42Speaker 1: just looking at her pictures every day, right in front
- 53:45Speaker 1: of you. I mean, who does that. He hasn't even
- 53:50Speaker 1: thought of how this would make you, his wife of
- 53:53Speaker 1: eighteen years feel. How does that make you feel? I'm
- 53:56Speaker 1: sure not good? And please do not try. I don't
- 54:00Speaker 1: do this one. Don't try to compare this with our
- 54:03Speaker 1: beloved Denzel. Denzel is a bona fide movie star. He
- 54:08Speaker 1: is a sex symbol, and no disrespect to your high
- 54:11Speaker 1: school sweetheart and all of that. But she's just a
- 54:14Speaker 1: regular person. Okay, she's just a regular person. Don't try
- 54:17Speaker 1: to compare this with how we feel about our Denzel. Okay,
- 54:21Speaker 1: I'm not having that. Yes, thank you. It's not working
- 54:26Speaker 1: over here. And I mean, seriously, though, what husband would
- 54:29Speaker 1: ever tell his wife to her face that another woman
- 54:36Speaker 1: had the best sex ever? I'm sorry, but how stupid
- 54:41Speaker 1: is he? I'm sorry to say that about your man,
- 54:44Speaker 1: but that's why I agree with you to go ahead
- 54:47Speaker 1: and bust his head on this one. Whatever that means
- 54:49Speaker 1: to you. And no, you are not too sensitive, you're
- 54:54Speaker 1: not too jealous, none of that. You're a wife who
- 54:56Speaker 1: has a husband that's a little out of line. I
- 54:58Speaker 1: don't care if she's a thousand miles away. I don't
- 55:00Speaker 1: care about any of that. He needs to stop. Okay,
- 55:03Speaker 1: he needs to stop, Thank you very much. Don't ever
- 55:07Speaker 1: compare anybody to our beloved Denzel Steve. Wow, just regular people.
- 55:14Speaker 1: It's really hard for me to believe this letter. I
- 55:17Speaker 1: know the letter is true, but your husband is an idiot.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I mean, dude, I don't even understand what you're doing here.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Your husband is obsessed with an ex girlfriend he dated
- 55:32Speaker 1: thirty five years ago. That's high school. What's eighteen and
- 55:37Speaker 1: thirty five? Fifty three? Yeah, huh so he bought fifty three.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Now he obsessed with the girl. She was beautiful and popular.
- 55:48Speaker 1: She was in high school and he was the star
- 55:51Speaker 1: football player. I knew exactly what do happen here? See,
- 55:55Speaker 1: she was very popular and he was the star football player.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Keep that dead. He went off to college. She married
- 56:03Speaker 1: a wealthy older guy, owned several businesses in town, moved
- 56:07Speaker 1: to Texas. Your husband lost contact with her, but he
- 56:11Speaker 1: never forgot her. He never forgot her. Now, let me
- 56:17Speaker 1: tell you something. She was fine. Then she took that
- 56:21Speaker 1: fineness and married the big wealthy man owned a couple
- 56:25Speaker 1: of business left for Texas. Your husband lost contact with her.
- 56:32Speaker 1: So now here we go fast forward. Y'all been married
- 56:36Speaker 1: eighteen years and social media has become mainstream. So your husband,
- 56:42Speaker 1: you say, it's kind of reconnected with the girl, but
- 56:45Speaker 1: by that you mean he stalks her social media page
- 56:48Speaker 1: and drules over all her pictures daily. Here's a man
- 56:55Speaker 1: who cannot cannot let go of the p and because
- 57:02Speaker 1: he was an ex football star, that's probably the last
- 57:07Speaker 1: time your man was something. Okay, that's probably the last
- 57:12Speaker 1: time he was something to anybody. And he had the
- 57:18Speaker 1: baddest chick at the school, and he was somebody. All
- 57:23Speaker 1: the glory days is gone. Now, Yeah, you ain't what
- 57:27Speaker 1: you was no more so since you ain't what you was,
- 57:31Speaker 1: you're gonna relive what you was instead of existing as
- 57:37Speaker 1: who you ain't. Oh Lord Jesus on time. You're trying
- 57:43Speaker 1: to relive who you was, yeah, instead of existed as
- 57:48Speaker 1: who you ain't. Hang on, we'll have part two of
- 57:52Speaker 1: your response coming up to twenty three minutes after the
- 57:55Speaker 1: hour subject my husband is obsessed with an ex We'll
- 57:59Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening show.
- 58:04Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's My husband
- 58:09Speaker 1: is obsessed with an X. Been married eighteen years to
- 58:12Speaker 1: his woman, and he's obsessed with an X that he
- 58:17Speaker 1: dated thirty five years ago when he was a star
- 58:21Speaker 1: football player. His ass is fifty three fifty three. Man,
- 58:28Speaker 1: take your ass somewhere and be still all moving around
- 58:33Speaker 1: for on social media. Now he went off to college,
- 58:39Speaker 1: probably to play football. Obviously that ain't work or ain't
- 58:42Speaker 1: none else I ever heard of him? I know everybody
- 58:46Speaker 1: ever played professional football since seventy one. I know him all.
- 58:51Speaker 1: And he played in Cleveland, I know all the way
- 58:53Speaker 1: back sixty four. So now he ain't nobody. Now he
- 58:59Speaker 1: didn't find this eld on social media, and he reliving
- 59:02Speaker 1: the pass. The last time he was something was when
- 59:06Speaker 1: he was a football player. He ain't been that hot
- 59:10Speaker 1: a star since she was fine in she married a
- 59:15Speaker 1: wealthy dude, moved to Texas. He didn't found on social media.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Now he's stalking her social media page and drews over
- 59:23Speaker 1: her pictures. Bailey, he can't let go of the pass.
- 59:29Speaker 1: And then you say, I don't even think she even
- 59:32Speaker 1: knows he exists. Oh, he didn't went on faithbook. Oh
- 59:43Speaker 1: or remember me? What do you say? Or remember me?
- 59:48Speaker 1: You don't think he'd said that? She might not know
- 59:51Speaker 1: he exists because he see she still find You say,
- 59:56Speaker 1: still beautiful? You say, but you think she's still very beautiful.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I think she had surgery on her body though a
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: little bit. Yeah, you know see some women. Hold on, now,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: we ain't got worried about how you looking at all that,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: because I'm pretty sure you beautiful. System, So let's just
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: stay with horse. Wrong with your man? You think she'd
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: had some work on her body? Probably ain't. She just fined.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: She just fined, and your husband is obsessed because there's
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: something wrong with her. He drew her over her pictures daily.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: You don't think it is. And how do I know this?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Because this fool set up and told you all about her,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and I see him looking at her pictures all day.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: She's still beautiful. I think she had surgery on her body,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: but she looked great. Why would a man tell her
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: his current wife about an ex that he had that
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: was so beautiful, showing you the pictures and tell you
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: all about it, because where he at right now, he
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: was she where he was back then. This is called
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: self realism. That means you can't look at yourself and
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: deal with what's real about you. So you go back
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: to the last time you in yourself, you felt good
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: about yourself, and you make that your new reality. Which
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: is the new term that I created. I'm gonna call
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: doctor Field and give it to him. It's called self realism.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Not okay, not realization but hell novel, but self realization. Now,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I walk on one day and found out to realize
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: self a thing about myself. It's self realism. Realism. Okay,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: this is different. Yeah. Now, I told my husband that
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: his behavior is very inappropriate, and he said, she like
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: a celebrity. Don'tbody know her dog, don't nobody know her.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: But this is the set up, lady. He set it up.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: He said, she's like a ce celebrity and she lived
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a thousand miles away. You know what that's a set
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: up for, because he told me, it's like you obsessing
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: over Denzel now, because den Zel is a celebrity and
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: probably live a thousand mile away from you. See, he
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: set it up to justify what he doing. But this
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: is how dumb his ass. The other day I reached
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: from my breaking point because he shared a story about
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: their sexual experiences and how she turned him out. So
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: he gonna just openly admit that he wouldn't it. Punk
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: ass got turned out, you know what's said? He still
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: turned out, but he told a sexual experienced story to
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: his wife, and then he said it was the best
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: sex he ever had, and that really hurts me. Well,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: if it's the best sex you ever had, why don't
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: you go see if she recognize your fat pole ass.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: So ride down to Texas and see if she recognized
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: your fat, broke ass, and see if she wants to
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: leave her wealthy business man your fat chunka broke ass.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: And now that's why you'd have told your wife she
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the best sex you ever had. You are to quick
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: giving him whatever sex you giving his ass, and tell
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: him to ride to Texas and get that sex back
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: here since it was all that damn good, go down
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: there and see if she wants your fat, non famous
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: broke ass. How do you really feel about this man?
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: And that really hurt me, He told me, I'm being
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: too sensitive. I'm ready to hurt this man if he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: keep being disrespectful. Maybe I should be too sensitive and jealous?
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Should I just let it go and bust his head.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I normally don't agree with Sherd on these method but
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: bust him in his dad head the next time he
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: pulled that compute up and show you a whole picture.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Take that computer snappy with it, all right? Thank you,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: sir folkst for commings on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook. Please don't forget to
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast coming up at forty
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: six after the hour, Guys, our girl from the Talks
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood. Right after this, you're listening to the Steven
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour. We're
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: gonna bring Cheryl in, but no jokes today, no jokes.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about Ahmad Aubury among other things. And
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Steve from the Talk please introduce our girl, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Sheryl Underwood. Thank you, Steve Harven. And you know what,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: usually I come up and I cut the food. We
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: have a good time. You know, it's getting ready to
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: be Mother Day weekend. We shout out all the mothers
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: out there, but there's one mother that don't have a
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: son right there. This is Armand Aubrey, the young man
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that all you were doing with jogging down the street,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: had no weapon on him. They said he looked in
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: the house, but can anybody proved that? And then they say, well,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: he looked like somebody's suspicious, which we always do. So
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: then you got the two men white man, I'm gonna
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: say it, white man. One is in the back of
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the truck. One tell him to stop. The other one
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: that's filming. It's a third white man allegedly that's filming
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: at all. Now this man, it looked like to me.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: And have y'all seen this footage. Have y'all seen it,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: because what it looked like is the young man is
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: being stalked just because he's black. And see this thing
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: is about somebody saying, well, the guy said he was
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: doing a citizen arrest. Well, you can't do a citizen
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: arrest if you have now witnessed a crime. Okay, that's
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: the first thing. That's first thing, now, y'all, Karen, that's
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: what it is, vigilante. It is a lynchen by gun
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: and truck. And I'm going to say that. And this
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: is not Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is Girl Underwood talking.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: And we are getting tired of this and you know
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: who's gassing these people up, the president is because they
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: think they are a judge, jury, and executioner. And nobody
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: has arrested these people. And then they want them to
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: have a grand jury because most of the people have
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: been in a relationship with this guy that was an
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: investigator and a thirty year cop. This is gobbage and
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: everybody knows it. And then they're gonna hide behind the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: grand jury. So if the grand jury don't bring back charges,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: then we'll never get justice. Well, this time, we ain't
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: letting this go. And everybody that holds a microphone and
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: everybody that holds a camera, and not just black people,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: but other people that understand this could have been your child,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: This could have been your son, this could have been
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: your brother, and this will not stand. Lebron James, thank
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: you for speaking up. Lebron James. What do we need
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: to do to let people know this brother memory will last.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But this did not have to happen. All this brother
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: was doing with Jaggin and he was murdered. And if
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: there wasn't a camera and now now you know how
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: everybody felt with Rodney King. Okay, okay, and so you're
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: gonna let the President gash you up. All these people
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: out here that can carry a gun, they got the gun,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and then when they get ready to lose their jobs.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I wasn't really yelling at the police. I was yelling
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: at somebody else or oh I'm open my salon. But
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: you're disrespectful to the judge. Why because you're white and
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: all the white people that's listened to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: We're not blaming y'all for nothing. We're saying you need
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: to join us because if this passes one day, this
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: will be your child and you'll be crying like this
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: mother is as we get ready to come into Mother's day.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Well said, Cheryl Well said, Well said, thank you, Okay, sorry,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: just man right now, all right, Cheryl, hang on a second. Okay,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: we're gonna bring you back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: all right, Cheryl, you're still here with us. We didn't
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: want to let you go because this subject, this is
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: just so important. I mean, here we go again, Steve,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Here we go again with this. And then we understand
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: there's another shooting in Indianapolis that took place last night
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: with some kind of police chase going on driving and uh,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: this young man was on Facebook live and he was driving,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: according to the police, reckless. They followed him and he
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: parked a car. He got out the car, and while
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: he was on streaming live, he was saying, you know, um,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I'm not going to jail tonight and I'm not all this,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: you know, in front of his followers on Facebook. And
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: then the next thing you know, the police say they
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: chased him and then they gunshots. I heard, and I
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: just heard about nine shots. But a man in Indiapolis,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: his name is Sean Reid. I'm just amazed, man, at
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: how there are so many good police officers out here,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: but there are too many bad ones, and the bad
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: ones overshadow a lot of the good work and a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: lot of great officers due but I will say this,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the bad ones are really really bad, and they act
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: out only on people of color. Because I have yet
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: in my lifetime to see the innocent white boy get
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: shot by the police and nothing happened to the police.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I'm yet to hear that story. As a matter of fact,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: I'm not exaggerated. I really don't remember hearing maybe once, maybe,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: and I'm just trying to give it that but I
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: don't know exactly I don't remember hearing in my years
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: on this planet as a black man of a white
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: boy that gets shot down by the police. I've yet
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to hear that story now. And let me tell you something.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I watched these cops shows. I see them white kids
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: running from cops all the time. I see them get
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: out the copy talking to them police like they've children.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? Wait, do it? That's right,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Just do it? Then, Yes, I've heard them, that's right.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: If your black ass say that, you already know they
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: gonna do it. You don't say anything, You're say nothing
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: that But that's what I'm saying. So I've yet to
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: see the black dude snapping and going off and getting killed.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: But they were trained, you guys, are as black men
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: are trained to carry yourselves or conduct yourselves in a
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: certain a certain fashion. We know, yes, yes, And I've
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: taught it to all three of my sons. I might
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: tell it to my grandsons too. White people don't have
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: to tell their children how to behave towards the police.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: That's because the police ain't gunning their ass down. That's right.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: White kids play their music loud all the time. They
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: don't get killed for that's right. Lebron said the best.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He said, we are hunted every day. I mean every
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: day we wake up, we don't know if it's gonna
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: be us or not. Every single day, every we get up,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: we might be the hunt. And then it's not why
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: black men have so much mental stress, because you're existing
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: as a black man and you don't know if you're
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: gonna come home to your family. Not to mention their wives,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: their mother, she might lose her son today, a wife
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: might lose her husband, her brother. I mean, it's ridiculous,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: but I'm gonna tell you something. The civil rights organizations,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I'm glad they own this right now. Acou NAACP, a
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Southern probably law center. I'm glad that Ben Crumb and
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: what's the other brother's name, Lee, Merrit Lee, that's the
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: other lawyer on that. And we're gonna remember this boy's side.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: All those great organizations, But where are the white organizations outcry? See,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: until we get these white people to get on board
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: and admit that this is an injustice and help us
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: wrecked this problem, it's never going to stop. See. But
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: remember these were vigilandis. These were people that did not
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: have a badge. They had no reason to stop this
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: young man, and they did it, and they were and
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: the man was fighting for his life, This young brother,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Ahmad Rbury, fighting for his life. All the white people
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: doesn't listened to Steve Harvey. If you can laugh and
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: joke with us, then feel our pain right now? All right,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show Well. First, Mike Pennce.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Now President Donald Trump. He toured a Honeywell factory in
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Phoenix on Tuesday. The factory is making millions of N
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: ninety five masks for the government, but neither he nor
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: the others in his party were wearing masks. Okay. Mister Trump, however,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: was wearing safety goggles, so that's something I guess. The
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: President defied a sign at the factory that said everyone
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: there was required to wear a mask as employees working
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: on the production line we're doing. Before boarding Air Force
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: one on Tuesday to fly to Phoenix, Trump said, if
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: it's a mask environment, I would certainly do that. I
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: would wear it. If it's a mask environment, I would
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: have no problem. According to a White House official, Honeywell
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: told them that mister Trump and other visitors didn't have
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: to wear the mask. Maybe because they already got a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: vaccine and they didn't took it already. Maybe that's part.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: But because you're saying, if there was a mask, environment,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: isn't that we're in right now? Well, it's called a pandemic. Yeah, okay,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: come on, that would make it a global atmosphere and condition.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: It's everywhere. There are no places exempt of this. Lead
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: by example, how about that? No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Please don't lead me by accent. I don't want to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: do what you do. Please don't do it by the example. Leave.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: We gotta go. More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: and some trending news coming up at thirty three minutes
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, the nephew has been doing these
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: wellness check ins. He's been doing them with some of
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: our most loyal listeners. Tommy's such a great job you've
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: been doing. Let's take a listen to this one. Hello,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Miss Deborah, Miss Debora, this is nephew Tommy from the
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Baby, how are you doing it?
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: I am doing good. I am giving you a wellness
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: check on behalf of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: calling our fans across the country and we're making sure
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you all are safe doing COVID nineteen. You're doing all right.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: I'm doing wonderful And I work at the hospital. How
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: was that going, daughter? How are you on a day
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: to day basis? Well, besides taking my babies to the
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: daycare heading the words again, we do have to wear
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: the mash. What exactly you do at the hospital? I'm
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: in the kitchen, our cook and I prepare the meals
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: for the elderly that's in the nursing home. Well, let
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: me tell you something. We are We're calling around making
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: sure people like you are saved, making sure we recognize
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: people like you, because we definitely appreciate what you're doing.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: You're putting yourself on on the front line, and uh,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: you know, we just want to call and comminue on
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: the dollar. But thank you. And I listened to y'all
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: every morning. Man, y'all be having me houling in my
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: bed room getting ready for work. That's a good thing. Hey,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: how many kids you got? You say you drop your
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: kids off at daycare? Right? I got three? I got
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: a fifteen year old, he stays home, then the two
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: year old and the nine year going to daycare. How
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: do you feel about that, Miss Deavor? Is that kind
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: of difficult when you're dropping them off at daycare? Do
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: you feel a little unsure when you do something like that,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: because they do the daycare, they do that baby's the
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: same way they do it before we getting and they
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: do our temp or, And if you got a fever,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: they wouldn't let you in there. So they take that
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: baby's temper they get in there, and then from taking
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: their tempt. They don't have a tempt, They let him
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: go on in, but if they got tempt, they do
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: them like you do. Is they said, I'm just back home.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: You want you out of George, So tell me this.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I want you to say whatever you'd like to say
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: to all the people that are listening, especially people that
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: get up in like you, that are going to work
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: and doing and putting yourself on the front line. What
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: would you like to tell, especially these people that don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: want to stay home. What would you like to say
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: to these people? Sometimes obedience is better than sacrifice. Listen
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: to your elders. I can't say what I want to
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: say about our president. God, God gonna bless him. But anyway,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: you know, obedience, that's sacrifice. You say, don't do but
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: they are dude. Then you say, dude, they won't do it.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: So on the advice I can give them a just
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: learn to do we tell them and patience, ay, ain't
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: even in their vocabulary. You know, they want a man,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: but they don't want to go out to send them
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: a man. They want to go out and fix them
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: up a man. Then when it's all cooking crazy? Then
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: what had this man and he did to me? But
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: that's the man you chose. If you want something, you
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: will sit and wait on it. Be patient from Miss
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Debra right there, Miss Devil, tell her all of what's
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land is calling and
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: making show? We gotta wall on this check across the country?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Who is it? The Steve Harvey Morning Show with that
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: crazy Tommy Jesus? All right, coming up our last break
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: of the day. It's last break of day and coming
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: up some poignant closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Right after this you're listening to show? All right,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: here we are, guys, our last break of the day. Wow,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: and what a day it has been. Okay, you know
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: what my closing remarks I had thought about earlier to
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: day said, Man, I'm gonna do this really really inspirational
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: closing mark. And this story about this young rby oh
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Amad Harbory, human army kid just bother me so much, man, yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: so much. Last night it just bugged me. I couldn't
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: get it out of my head. So I have something
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: i'd like to ask America, if you don't mind, And
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: then Indianapolis, who's going on there? Today? I mean, yeah,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: I mean, here's my closing remarks. This is what I
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: want to do. I want to talk to people in
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: a different tone because I've tried the ranting and the raving.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I've tried the yelling, the screaming, the protesting, the marching.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: So I'm just want to talk to America for a second.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I am asking some good people in America to stand
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: with those of us that are in pain. I'm looking
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: to find just a few good white folk, just like
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: the Marines is looking for a few good men. I
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: was just wondering if we could find just a few
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: good white folk. You know, let me ask you a
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: couple of questions. Let me put it this way. First
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: of all, if your white sons were being murdered by
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: all black police officers, how would you feel, what would
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you do? What would you demand if this were happening.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I've thought a lot about this situation. How long would
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you stand by without protest or anger? How long would
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you wait on justice to prevail? How many times would
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you allow the people who kill your white son us
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: slash your children to go unpunished. I'm thinking, I'm sure
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: you wouldn't be okay with this. I'm just just a
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: thought I'm having. I'm thinking that you just wouldn't be
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: okay with this. Let me ask a few good white
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: folks this question. What is it that makes it okay
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: to kill our sons and our children down in the
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: streets like dogs. How many white men and how many
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: young white men and how many young white boys lose
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: their lives just like this in America? I'm I'm just asking,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I just want to know a number, if you could
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: just give me a relative number, because blacks are in
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the minority and whites are in the majority, so I'm
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: soon in this is probably a little bit disportionate, but
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: if you could just show me one white child son
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: that has been gunned down in the street by a
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: police officer. So I could start making just a little
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: bit of sense of this may Are you okay with
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: this simply because it's not happening to y'all? Is that
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: why it's okay? I'm tripping, man. I don't want to
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: believe this about America, but it keeps on happening in
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: America over and over and over again. I mean America.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: It's actually happened in all the history books I've read.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: It's horror stories like this that we have to live
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: through every February of the yell thank you for reminding us,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: but we really don't need reminding. See, it happened to
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: my grandfather, John Harvey. It happened to my father, I
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: see Harvey, it happened to my older brothers, and I
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: got some personal stories of my own. I'm talking about
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: hatred towards the black men that I know, and I
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: can't count the countless numbers who I never met that
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: we keep hearing about over and over over. Man, in
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the past thirty years. I'm just gonna go back thirty
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: years because I have thirty three more years before the
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: thirty was here. That I could tell you about. I'm
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: not gonna list the names of all the blacks that
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: have been gunned down in the street by white police
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: officers because we don't have the time. And if I
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: named them all, I would still be leaving out a few.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Because this was happening before there was social media, before
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: we could catch you on film, before we saw how
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you did. Rodney King, four cameras and phone cameras was
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: not out. It's been happening. I wish you all were
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: tired too, because I am. I wish you all would
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: care too, because we do. I wish you all would
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: help us too. I wish this was the America that
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: y'all sing about, but it ain't. Those are my closing
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: remarks today. And were tired. We sit and tired keep
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: singing you as it would be great if it was true.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: But more and more, man, it's started not to sound
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: like the America that we keep singing about them, and
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: that's a sad thing for black folks over here. Those
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: are my closes remarks. Y'all have a great day, Hey, y'all,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: keep God in your life. God and get us through anything.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: He's got it through four hundred years and it's in
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: the past. We're gonna get through this too, but we
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: want to speed this part of it up. We got
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: to stop watching these kids die in these streets like this,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: and don't nothing happen to the people who kill them.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: That ain't right, y'all. And you wouldn't want it to
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: happen to you. I promise you wouldn't, and I don't
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: want it to happen to you. For all Steve Harvey contests,
