- 1:59Speaker 1: got it? Uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, come on give me now?
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and on is Steve Harvey man old man got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show? Yeah? Do God so big to me? Man,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I just have to tell you about it. I can't
- 2:17Speaker 1: help it. It's rather obvious to me how big, how
- 2:22Speaker 1: good God is. He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He on one, he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm just over here, just on receiving it. You know, Man,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I want to share something with you today. You know. Uh,
- 2:41Speaker 1: if you're out there, start your mission today, Start your
- 2:46Speaker 1: mission today? What are you waiting for? Why do we
- 2:52Speaker 1: as people delay what we want or delay the process
- 3:01Speaker 1: to be garn what we want our hopes, our dreams,
- 3:05Speaker 1: our desires. Why won't you start your mission today? Why
- 3:10Speaker 1: don't we all decide together better yet? Let's just kill
- 3:15Speaker 1: that consume that just individually. Look, you're listening. You got
- 3:20Speaker 1: something that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition
- 3:23Speaker 1: of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You've got goals you
- 3:26Speaker 1: haven't accomplished yet. You got dreams, aspirations. Everybody has them.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Everybody's got them. Everybody's got something that's that's on the
- 3:35Speaker 1: table that they haven't yet attacked yet. What are you
- 3:39Speaker 1: waiting for? Start your mission today? Stop the procrastination now,
- 3:44Speaker 1: the procrastination is only hurting you yourself. And if you
- 3:49Speaker 1: and if you allow practical excuse me, and if you
- 3:52Speaker 1: allow procrastination to set in, then that that that allows
- 3:58Speaker 1: then which is a weakness, you know, but that allows
- 4:01Speaker 1: the devil then to just really do his thing, because
- 4:05Speaker 1: an idle mind is the devil's playground. So if you
- 4:07Speaker 1: ain't working on your goal, dreams, aspirations, or visions, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: you just you just waking up seeing how today gonna go?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Or the devil he got plenty for it for you
- 4:16Speaker 1: to do. See. But if you get your mind right
- 4:19Speaker 1: on your goal and your focus and your purpose, then
- 4:22Speaker 1: you can go on about your business. Then when the
- 4:24Speaker 1: distraction comes, you can catch yourself. Now that don't mean
- 4:27Speaker 1: you ain't gonna fall privy or fall prey to some
- 4:30Speaker 1: of your distractions, because you will, but you will have
- 4:33Speaker 1: a goal in mind and aspiration that makes you go.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Hold on, man, I got to stay focused here. Of course,
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I really want while I'm really trying to go
- 4:41Speaker 1: the thing that I'm really after, This new little uh
- 4:45Speaker 1: thing that's being introduced, this don't fit into the equation. Man.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Let me keep it moving, or you may step off
- 4:52Speaker 1: the line for a little while. You know, like I
- 4:54Speaker 1: said yesterday, you think about God. Is he's so forgiving
- 4:57Speaker 1: that if you get out of line, he'll hold your place.
- 5:00Speaker 1: See that's the real cool thing. A lot of people
- 5:01Speaker 1: to do that for you to. Like I said, if
- 5:03Speaker 1: you're the movie theater, you're an amusement park and you're
- 5:05Speaker 1: in the line and you forget something, If you politely
- 5:08Speaker 1: ask the person behind you, hey, man, I gotta run
- 5:10Speaker 1: to my car left something, would you hold my place?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Most people say, fine, you gotta go ahead, and when
- 5:15Speaker 1: you come back, they don't have a problem. See your
- 5:17Speaker 1: problem is is you want to get out the line,
- 5:19Speaker 1: go do something and come back and just get up
- 5:22Speaker 1: in the line further up than you were, or cut somebody.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Now you got a problem because see everybody looking at
- 5:27Speaker 1: you now like holy wall, partner where you come from?
- 5:30Speaker 1: You know the line start back here. But see the
- 5:33Speaker 1: thing with God is God don't do that. God don't
- 5:35Speaker 1: say the line start back here. God holds your place.
- 5:39Speaker 1: When you make a mistake and you fall off the line,
- 5:42Speaker 1: God holds your place. But if you ain't got no
- 5:45Speaker 1: dreams aspiration, if you ain't got no place, what he
- 5:48Speaker 1: holding for you? See, I mean He got a place
- 5:51Speaker 1: for you, but you gotta come to it. See some
- 5:54Speaker 1: people if well, here's what I'm saying. If you got
- 5:57Speaker 1: a goal of aspiration to dream and you fall off
- 6:01Speaker 1: track momentarily, you can get back to that because God
- 6:06Speaker 1: knows where you left off. Now you may have to
- 6:08Speaker 1: accomplish a few more things since you stopped for a
- 6:11Speaker 1: long period of time, but God know where you left off.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You can get back on track. I look, man, this
- 6:17Speaker 1: dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and it got off track. Now it got off track,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I just kept it as one of the dreams. And
- 6:26Speaker 1: in some real dog moments when it looked like it
- 6:29Speaker 1: wasn't gonna happen, all I was hanging on to was
- 6:32Speaker 1: just the hope that one day it could. But that's
- 6:35Speaker 1: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
- 6:38Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. But faith gives you the
- 6:42Speaker 1: confidence to keep hoping. Man, Sometimes it just keep hope alive.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man,
- 6:52Speaker 1: it's just the hope. I was hanging on the hope.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And I'm talking about when it got real ugly and
- 7:00Speaker 1: funky out there for me, when it looked like I
- 7:02Speaker 1: wasn't gonna ever make it, and all of the facts
- 7:06Speaker 1: was in and everything pointed in the direction you're not
- 7:09Speaker 1: gonna make it. You didn't really messed up this time.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Then I sat there and I just hung on to
- 7:15Speaker 1: the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying. If you
- 7:19Speaker 1: got a dream on aspiration of vision or something, when
- 7:22Speaker 1: you fall off track and you want to go get
- 7:25Speaker 1: back in line, God holds your place. See. He held
- 7:29Speaker 1: on to that for me. He knew I was off
- 7:32Speaker 1: tracking how the line, but he said, Okay, here's where
- 7:35Speaker 1: we stopped. You want to be on TV. Now, when
- 7:37Speaker 1: you get it together and you quit tripping and you
- 7:39Speaker 1: come in your turn to me, I'm gonna hold your place,
- 7:42Speaker 1: put you back in line. Then we're gonna finish your journey.
- 7:44Speaker 1: That took me a lot longer to get here than
- 7:46Speaker 1: I wanted to, but then it was necessary because I
- 7:49Speaker 1: needed all of the mishaps to happen to me along
- 7:51Speaker 1: the way. So when I got on the radio one day,
- 7:54Speaker 1: which I did not see coming, Steve Harvey got a
- 7:56Speaker 1: radio show, y'all. That's why I said every day. See
- 8:00Speaker 1: because of this radio show that I didn't see coming.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Now I have stories to tell, I got experiences to share,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and I can tell you about me better than I
- 8:09Speaker 1: can tell you about anybody. And I have been through
- 8:12Speaker 1: enough whereas relatable where enough people can go. Man, that
- 8:16Speaker 1: happened to me, appreciate you saying that that's what it
- 8:19Speaker 1: was for. See, I get it now. See at the time,
- 8:22Speaker 1: though I didn't, I didn't like what was happening to me.
- 8:25Speaker 1: At the time, I was really in total disagreement with
- 8:27Speaker 1: God on a lot of stuff. He was pulling off
- 8:30Speaker 1: on me, but in essence, I was really pulling it
- 8:32Speaker 1: off on myself. But through his grace and mercy, he
- 8:36Speaker 1: kept me through all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions,
- 8:40Speaker 1: all my miscalculations, all my misfires, all the times I
- 8:45Speaker 1: knowingly stepped out there indeed wrong. He forgave me. He said, cause, man,
- 8:51Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 8:54Speaker 1: for you that is going to be far and above.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you ever dreamed of. That's what
- 9:01Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick on me, good and
- 9:05Speaker 1: sick on me, and I turned it over to God.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And then God started working And here I am today.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Now sy threw it me yet? Nope? Have I arrived yet? Nope?
- 9:17Speaker 1: But guess what the journey is cool? And then you
- 9:22Speaker 1: know what I found out. That's kind of what it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: like in life. If you don't walk off the cliff
- 9:27Speaker 1: in life and you ain't got no God in your life,
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 9:35Speaker 1: cliff and you just free falling. Now see we all
- 9:39Speaker 1: now that fall gets you closer to the grave, right See,
- 9:42Speaker 1: were all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But the cool thing about the relationship with God is
- 9:47Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:50Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 9:54Speaker 1: nice ride, your guide, and you're glad and you're softly
- 9:58Speaker 1: you enjoying your look around, smiling. You're meeting other people
- 10:01Speaker 1: along the way. You you're floating over here to ski
- 10:05Speaker 1: a little while, you over there at the beach for
- 10:07Speaker 1: a little while, you mess around over here. You get
- 10:10Speaker 1: to go out of the country a little bit on
- 10:12Speaker 1: your parachuting all and God just helps your your descent
- 10:16Speaker 1: appear more like a rise and then more like a
- 10:18Speaker 1: usphoric fall instead of not having no God in your
- 10:23Speaker 1: life and you're just walking off that cliff every day,
- 10:26Speaker 1: free falling. Ain't got no cored you, steady pulling you,
- 10:30Speaker 1: hauling the whole way because you have messed around with yourself,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and ain't let God come into your life and provide
- 10:35Speaker 1: a parachute for you. I would rather have a parachute,
- 10:39Speaker 1: since I got to jump every day than to not
- 10:42Speaker 1: have one. God has been like a parachute from me.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Ask me why where that came from. I can't tell you,
- 10:51Speaker 1: But like I always say. Most good things that happened
- 10:53Speaker 1: in my life that I can't explain, it's usually him.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening to ladies and gentlemen, boys, and especially the girls,
- 11:07Speaker 1: who are my favorite people in the world. The female
- 11:10Speaker 1: species is the greatest invention of all times. Nothing greater
- 11:17Speaker 1: I've seen them all. They ain't a man living top
- 11:21Speaker 1: my favorite woman. He don't exist, he ain't been born,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and he ain't coming. Not. The only man that's coming
- 11:30Speaker 1: that I mean, more than me than my girl, is
- 11:33Speaker 1: the Lord himself, and he comes to save us all
- 11:38Speaker 1: and he's coming back. So until he get here, y'all
- 11:41Speaker 1: it enjoy yourself. Number one. What's up, hey, Steve? I
- 11:48Speaker 1: like that. I like that a lot. Yeah, callin for
- 11:51Speaker 1: real good missip Monica's we're on the radio. She's waving
- 12:00Speaker 1: jor Tommy Dog, Tommy dog not to be confused with
- 12:08Speaker 1: atmic dog. Okay, please let's be clear. Oh man is
- 12:14Speaker 1: really funny. We were on the set the other day
- 12:16Speaker 1: and the lady that's my station manager at the station
- 12:20Speaker 1: stage manager at Family Feud is tagging. Tanya is married
- 12:25Speaker 1: to a frap brother, her son is going to college.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Tanya is a zeta. Okay, so Tanya. We were talking
- 12:34Speaker 1: about it and her son had came up to the show.
- 12:36Speaker 1: He's going to college. Hey, man, what's cool you're going
- 12:38Speaker 1: to Yeah, what you're majing in? He told me. I said,
- 12:41Speaker 1: what you're gonna pledge? And she jumped out and said
- 12:43Speaker 1: Sigma right in front of you. I said, what what
- 12:49Speaker 1: did you say? He's gonna be a Sigma. His mother
- 12:53Speaker 1: is a Delta, and that's my brother Fred Sigma. She's
- 12:59Speaker 1: a zeta and her fraternal brothers. It's sickness, he said,
- 13:03Speaker 1: So he has to be a sickning. I said, what
- 13:09Speaker 1: you caudn't do that to that boy? That boy father cute,
- 13:15Speaker 1: your daddy can't be a cute, and you play it sick.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You're gonna kill your daddy. Boy? What about me? That's
- 13:24Speaker 1: what she said. I can't about you? Are you in
- 13:28Speaker 1: a sorority? Says is outstanding? He wants to be represented
- 13:34Speaker 1: to you had the boy. That's your representation. You're the mother,
- 13:40Speaker 1: the giver of life. You out now when it comes
- 13:44Speaker 1: to this frat thing. I said, man, don't you do
- 13:46Speaker 1: that to your father. Don't you go down to that
- 13:49Speaker 1: school and tell your daddy you're gonna be a damn
- 13:51Speaker 1: sickening your daddy, frat brother, You're cute. Don't do that
- 13:54Speaker 1: to your Don't do that to your father. I said,
- 13:57Speaker 1: what what you one you're thinking about? He said, I've
- 13:59Speaker 1: always been thinking about And make a stop five. Keep
- 14:02Speaker 1: that in your heat. Don't let nobody take it after.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Don't you go down now and be no sigma. Mr Harvey,
- 14:09Speaker 1: he don't tell my son that. You got to hear
- 14:16Speaker 1: this moment. How about a fire? You did not talk
- 14:19Speaker 1: to illegal. I'll be working, She said, what about me too?
- 14:28Speaker 1: I said, well, what about him too. I'm gonna start
- 14:31Speaker 1: a new program call him to all right, coming up
- 14:38Speaker 1: something funny. We'll be back at thirty two after the
- 14:41Speaker 1: hour you're listening to stow. All right, it is time
- 14:47Speaker 1: for something funny. Guys. Um Stormy Daniels and her lawyer
- 14:51Speaker 1: Michael Abnetti, who has become very very famous of late. Yes,
- 14:56Speaker 1: he is a superstar, right, he is not shock They
- 15:00Speaker 1: appeared on the view. Stormy says she was tired of
- 15:03Speaker 1: being threatened. She revealed a sketch of the guy who
- 15:07Speaker 1: she says threatened her back in two thousand eleven. Okay,
- 15:13Speaker 1: they rendered a drawing of the gut Her lawyer Avantetti
- 15:17Speaker 1: said that, well wait, they they they said that they're
- 15:24Speaker 1: offering a hundred thousand dollars in reward money for this.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Uh you know, if you can bring if this man
- 15:31Speaker 1: comes to trial and all of that for information leading
- 15:33Speaker 1: to his identification. All right, but this is what's funny, guys. Uh,
- 15:37Speaker 1: the internet is going crazy right now. They're saying the
- 15:40Speaker 1: sketch of the guy looks like Billy Bush, and it
- 15:46Speaker 1: looks like um, it looks like Tom Brady from the Patriots.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Someone else said that, uh, he looks like John bon Jovi.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I heard that one too, so anyway, and but but
- 15:58Speaker 1: here's the catch and all of this. He really looks
- 16:00Speaker 1: like her husband. The sketch looks like her husband. A
- 16:09Speaker 1: picture of her husband that's probably his name is Brendan Miller,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and he really does look like him. But Millers, I
- 16:16Speaker 1: just want to thank the Lord that it ain't a
- 16:18Speaker 1: black dude. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because you know how many
- 16:21Speaker 1: else would be getting turning? I did he cough Man
- 16:36Speaker 1: and President Trump, who's been silent now you know on
- 16:39Speaker 1: this whole Stormy Daniels thing. He hasn't said anything. He tweeted,
- 16:43Speaker 1: Uh he says a sketch years later about a non
- 16:46Speaker 1: existent man, a total con job, playing the fake news
- 16:50Speaker 1: media for fools in parentheses. But they know it well.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You know something, man, it's sort of weird, because what's
- 16:59Speaker 1: weird this whole Stormy Daniels stage. I just want to
- 17:03Speaker 1: know what the end all of it is. What's the
- 17:05Speaker 1: purpose because they've said, this is what they said, No
- 17:10Speaker 1: amount of money can make us go away. Okay, so
- 17:13Speaker 1: what are we in it for then? If you don't
- 17:15Speaker 1: want to settlement? Check? But what you did want to
- 17:18Speaker 1: do was say that the nondisclosure was not legal because
- 17:22Speaker 1: it didn't have signed by Donald Trump, but it was
- 17:25Speaker 1: signed by coin So you want that remove so you
- 17:29Speaker 1: can be free to do what do a book deal
- 17:32Speaker 1: to tell the story for how much? Y'all? Let's look,
- 17:41Speaker 1: let's not be naive. Mm hmm. This is for money.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's no reason this dude ain't doing all this legal work,
- 17:50Speaker 1: appearing on all these shows aney yet prowsing this woman
- 17:54Speaker 1: around without a check. He's a lawyer, you know, sivil
- 18:02Speaker 1: fighting for nobody. Call Benjamin that ain't what he doing.
- 18:08Speaker 1: He on the side of justice and righteousness. This woman
- 18:12Speaker 1: wants her story here's the whole line that she said
- 18:15Speaker 1: that's thrown me off. Make your own judgment about it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'm done with it. It's a so not madam moment
- 18:21Speaker 1: for me. In my life, I could care less. But
- 18:23Speaker 1: when Stormy said I'm doing this to clear my name
- 18:30Speaker 1: used me wined. When did a clear name become important
- 18:37Speaker 1: to you? The first thing I'm gonna do it's when
- 18:40Speaker 1: I want a clear name? Is not be a point.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You can't dirty your name up better than that? Well
- 18:48Speaker 1: she wants to make She doesn't want as a liar.
- 18:53Speaker 1: She's apportant star. She don't want to be seen as
- 18:56Speaker 1: a lie. Doesn't want to be seen as a liar.
- 18:57Speaker 1: She's at help me, But I'm not a liar all
- 19:06Speaker 1: the time. In the video she gives you the naked truth.
- 19:09Speaker 1: He does, He really does the naked truth. If the
- 19:14Speaker 1: o J said it best? What money? A woman will
- 19:21Speaker 1: sell her precious body for small piece of paper? It
- 19:27Speaker 1: carries a lot of weight for that mean oh mean
- 19:33Speaker 1: mean green? Ah my to doll. A woman will sell
- 19:40Speaker 1: her precious body for that mean green. Now, where is
- 19:48Speaker 1: lying so damn in port all of a sudden passing
- 19:54Speaker 1: our tail for cash? She's not she's no longer doing
- 19:58Speaker 1: it what she on tour. She's a married woman. The
- 20:04Speaker 1: name of the tool is make America horny. She fulled.
- 20:17Speaker 1: That's why I have trouble with this whole thing. And
- 20:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something. It's not even really an
- 20:21Speaker 1: important issue for me, because I see exactly what's happening here.
- 20:25Speaker 1: If that's what you're gonna do, go ahead, but tell
- 20:27Speaker 1: us the whole truth. Stop saying it ain't for money. Well,
- 20:32Speaker 1: Trump doesn't tell the truth, and he's the president, so
- 20:37Speaker 1: where we at, no one's telling the truth. She wants
- 20:42Speaker 1: just to be known that she's not telling the truth.
- 20:44Speaker 1: She actually did have an accounter with Donald Trump, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: all I believe that that's the one thing that she
- 20:49Speaker 1: wants you guys to know, for us to know that
- 20:52Speaker 1: we already know that the dude gave a hunting thirty
- 20:55Speaker 1: to be quiet, and she took it. She took it.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Now she want to talk. Yeah, And here's another question.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I need to ask you right now. How many more
- 21:05Speaker 1: women are coming out? Oh I have to change, he said,
- 21:11Speaker 1: it's the lower Oh, okay, it's women. Let me explain
- 21:20Speaker 1: to you the number, the real number astounding. I'm sure,
- 21:27Speaker 1: but it's not gonna matter. The real number is his
- 21:30Speaker 1: base is with him no matter what. Now, Junior, you
- 21:34Speaker 1: can't see that. I see him all right, listen, coming
- 21:38Speaker 1: up now, Yeah he's he was Donald Trump? Yeah yeah, alright.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Coming up next, it's the nephew with run that prank back.
- 21:48Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show. Coming up at the
- 21:52Speaker 1: top of the hour, I'll have some entertainment news for

- 34:54Speaker 1: Trump says that the U. S. And Japan are working
- 34:57Speaker 1: jointly towards creating a nuclear free North Korea. You we
- 35:00Speaker 1: hope to see the day when the whole Korean peninsula
- 35:04Speaker 1: can live together in safety, prosperity, and peace. This is
- 35:08Speaker 1: the destiny of the Korean people, who deserve and have
- 35:12Speaker 1: gone through so much. The President says he's hopeful that
- 35:16Speaker 1: quote maximum pressure, along with his planned stomach with Kim
- 35:20Speaker 1: John is going to convince the North to abandon its
- 35:22Speaker 1: nuclear weapons program. Allow to see about that. Another Republican
- 35:25Speaker 1: congressman is abandoning Washington. Charlie denn in Pennsylvania says he's
- 35:29Speaker 1: gonna be leaving Washington and in the coming weeks, not
- 35:31Speaker 1: at the end of his term. He's not waiting for that.

- 36:02Speaker 1: take down two Confederate monuments. The state legislature in Tennessee
- 36:06Speaker 1: debated the matter for some time. Then city officials came
- 36:08Speaker 1: up with a way to get around a state law
- 36:10Speaker 1: that protected the statue. City fathers simply sold the parts
- 36:13Speaker 1: where the statutes were located four thousand dollars, and then
- 36:16Speaker 1: the new owners removed them well. The statues in question
- 36:19Speaker 1: are the President of the Confederacy Jefferson Davis and Confederate
- 36:23Speaker 1: General Nathan Bedford Forest. Now, by the way, just last month,
- 36:26Speaker 1: uh the committee in the Tennessee House refused to even
- 36:29Speaker 1: consider taking a vote on a measure that would call
- 36:31Speaker 1: neo Nazis, white nationalists, and all right activist groups terrorists organization.
- 36:35Speaker 1: They wouldn't even discuss that measure. The in Cuban government's
- 36:39Speaker 1: changing hands today, Ral Castro steps down he's eighty six
- 36:43Speaker 1: years old. To take his place, Communist Party official Mcguel

- 36:49Speaker 1: but Castro to head the Cuban government in almost six decades. Canals,
- 36:52Speaker 1: around fifty seven years old. Now comes words that the
- 36:55Speaker 1: Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson is not as ill as

- 37:02Speaker 1: this is true. The news and gossip side report that
- 37:05Speaker 1: mother Catherine had suffered a sudden and devastating stroke. However,
- 37:09Speaker 1: a family spokesman, Steve Manning, says that she's not in
- 37:12Speaker 1: diret condition, that she's staying with REEB and fully expects
- 37:15Speaker 1: to celebrate her eighty eighth birthday in three weeks. So
- 37:18Speaker 1: we are certainly praying that that will be the case.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Officials of the Texas based manufacturer bump Stocks they're gonna
- 37:24Speaker 1: stop selling them and shut down their website next month.
- 37:27Speaker 1: The company's decision comes amid mounting legal and even political
- 37:30Speaker 1: challenges to their devices, and finally Today's International Pizza Day,
- 37:37Speaker 1: Look I Love pizza Backamore Entertainment, Today's trending topics. Twenty

- 40:51Speaker 1: you're in here working and all like that. What you
- 40:54Speaker 1: want now, I'm I'll agree with that. We'll be back.
- 40:58Speaker 1: We'll talking about what I do in my how that
- 41:00Speaker 1: could possibly be a lawsuit. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 41:09Speaker 1: So Mariah Carey, her former manager, is talking about suing
- 41:13Speaker 1: her and telling explosive stories about Mariah being naked in
- 41:16Speaker 1: front of her and things like that. And then you
- 41:18Speaker 1: know what I meantimes, I could have took my daddy
- 41:20Speaker 1: at the court man food. My daddy standing naked drinking
- 41:26Speaker 1: ice water in the middle of the night. I'm up
- 41:29Speaker 1: trying to watch TV late at night. He don't walk
- 41:31Speaker 1: this ass in that nicket, open up the refrigerator, drinking
- 41:35Speaker 1: out of ice bottle. Nothing, it's his house. That such
- 41:42Speaker 1: a harassment. My daddy used the bathroom with the dot
- 41:45Speaker 1: over let everybody and then don't open you walk right
- 41:51Speaker 1: past here in that pass rude where you're paying. Because
- 41:55Speaker 1: my daddy always taught me, when you use the bathroom
- 41:57Speaker 1: and you defecate, hanging up on the back of the door,
- 42:00Speaker 1: free your legs. Cut down on constipation because you can
- 42:03Speaker 1: sit my wide. You get the angle, you can get
- 42:06Speaker 1: vibrationrself visually. Y'all messing your payings up. Put them all down, rundle,
- 42:13Speaker 1: Come out your paying. Everybody know you've been in there.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Hang your pants up on the back of that dope,
- 42:19Speaker 1: wide legs. What if you're in a public restaroom? What
- 42:23Speaker 1: they got hooked on the back of them doors. You
- 42:25Speaker 1: take your pants off in the public or you're gonna
- 42:28Speaker 1: wrinkle them up. You don't want them to touch them.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And you really can't have your pants touch that float. Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: you got to hang them up on that hood. That float.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Yeah that flow got that flow got e bowler only
- 42:41Speaker 1: you have bird disease. You come up out of there.
- 42:43Speaker 1: You don't the worst one. You don't know what happen
- 42:48Speaker 1: to you. You're in the public restroom naked with eight layers. Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I damn they got another seat on top of that.
- 42:59Speaker 1: I don't put so much all the tisch on here.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I gotta flush three different types, because if I pushed
- 43:04Speaker 1: all that toilet paper in that thing right here, it's
- 43:06Speaker 1: all gonna come back to. This is early. Sorry, if
- 43:11Speaker 1: you're eating that's good. Ain't no, this ain't not nasty stuff.
- 43:15Speaker 1: You need to know that. Lady needs to go ahead
- 43:17Speaker 1: on to sing the rage. She walked around, neked this house.
- 43:20Speaker 1: That ain't such a harassment. Now let me ask you this.
- 43:23Speaker 1: If it were a man, what being naked in his
- 43:26Speaker 1: house in front of a female manager, would you say
- 43:28Speaker 1: the same thing? It's his house. I probably wouldn't say
- 43:32Speaker 1: the same thing cause we're on the radio. It would
- 43:38Speaker 1: be afo. But we was off. I'll give it, damn
- 43:43Speaker 1: who you? That's all I need to know. This is
- 43:45Speaker 1: my house. Clifton came pick me up at the dope
- 43:48Speaker 1: and I wasn't ready see it across the window. Ain't
- 43:52Speaker 1: that low? It looked like a shirt. But I was
- 43:56Speaker 1: asked nickel out that howay through the door? YEA, be
- 44:00Speaker 1: out there, Cliff, but I'm coming there. Hold on. But
- 44:08Speaker 1: all he saw us to talk and you were talking, Cliff,
- 44:13Speaker 1: your favorite in play. Yeah, I've done amazing stuff naked,
- 44:17Speaker 1: answer that door. I shut the door, locked it. No hand.
- 44:23Speaker 1: What did you say? The door and locked it with
- 44:27Speaker 1: no handed I got great control. You can't, you can't.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I just told you what I did that What you do? Yea?
- 44:48Speaker 1: It was a lot of force, only two when you
- 44:49Speaker 1: cut it, I shut up with my hands. But I
- 44:52Speaker 1: kept in the wound and locked the door. Was the wiser.
- 44:57Speaker 1: He never knew that. Cliff. I can't do that in
- 44:59Speaker 1: front of Cliff, and then Cliff, he from the country.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Hold on both, you like that, Cliff? Sound it? Cliff
- 45:09Speaker 1: has a slave tone when you get surprised. Both, hold
- 45:12Speaker 1: on both. You can't hold that close. I didn't look
- 45:17Speaker 1: at it, boss, I worked from a rod can she
- 45:23Speaker 1: won't walk around? Let it go ahead? What's that you doing?
- 45:32Speaker 1: I don't believe that that she was waiting on all
- 45:34Speaker 1: the people to come to dinner. I think that they're
- 45:36Speaker 1: just making up stuff. Yeah, she could be a bitter
- 45:38Speaker 1: former employee, famous cool me. Don't even call me got
- 45:44Speaker 1: this bookcause he fired? If he still that b can't
- 45:46Speaker 1: write this book. Make a lot of money though, that's
- 45:50Speaker 1: for sure. But if you can have somebody to come
- 45:53Speaker 1: here dinner, that's de sees who would you? I ain't
- 45:56Speaker 1: gonna we'll go to break. We'll come back talk about that.
- 46:00Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right. So before we left off,
- 46:09Speaker 1: Tommy asked you a question, Steve, about having dinner with
- 46:12Speaker 1: someone who had passed away, if I could have three
- 46:15Speaker 1: people over, because we were talking about Mariah. Uh, you
- 46:20Speaker 1: know Mariah Carey who said that her former manager was
- 46:24Speaker 1: saying that she might let out this story about Michael Jackson,
- 46:29Speaker 1: Whitney Houston and Prince Mariah was getting ready to have
- 46:32Speaker 1: dinner with them and they were already gone dead. So uncomfortable.
- 46:38Speaker 1: It's hard. I'm talking about they don't have to be
- 46:42Speaker 1: musical people, right, I'm not feel so weird. I'm not
- 46:45Speaker 1: had dinner. If I could have dinner with mar Luther King,
- 46:51Speaker 1: Malcolm X, and Maurice White. Oh three ms, Okay, I'll
- 46:59Speaker 1: be sitting up that man crying the whole time. Yeah. Yeah,
- 47:03Speaker 1: that's a good one. It was a good man. Can
- 47:06Speaker 1: I read the forward one day that I wrote for
- 47:09Speaker 1: Mourice White for his book before he passed? Remarks one,
- 47:15Speaker 1: you want to do it there? Oh? Have I read
- 47:22Speaker 1: his book? Though? His book was phenomenal, I'm telling you, man,
- 47:25Speaker 1: I wrote the FOURD You know I was up for
- 47:27Speaker 1: Image Award for the forward that's how cold over forward
- 47:33Speaker 1: I felt, I wrote, and I wrote it to him.
- 47:36Speaker 1: M hm. I talked that I had tears in her
- 47:38Speaker 1: winning five eyes. When I tell him how I felt,
- 47:40Speaker 1: he said, let him put that in the book. So
- 47:43Speaker 1: I wrote it, send it back to him just the
- 47:46Speaker 1: way it was, and they printed it. I was up
- 47:47Speaker 1: for Image a Ward because of a forward you write. Great.
- 47:51Speaker 1: You wrote a great forward for me. He wrote a
- 47:53Speaker 1: great one for Charlemagne asked me the truth. I want

- 49:43Speaker 1: ain't no flavor going on? You talk about well I'm free?
- 49:47Speaker 1: Well you you you may be, but you have to
- 49:50Speaker 1: actually show paperwork for that. When they when did they start? Sir?
- 49:55Speaker 1: This is all over the news. You have to have
- 49:57Speaker 1: freedom papers within the next six months. Every African American
- 50:01Speaker 1: person it's gonna have to have freedom papers and have
- 50:04Speaker 1: them on on that you know. Uh. So it's like
- 50:07Speaker 1: people on a driver's license or a checkbook or something.
- 50:10Speaker 1: You're gonna have to have your freedom papers on you.
- 50:13Speaker 1: That's that's that's something. I'm free. I'm not about to
- 50:16Speaker 1: paying no money when I'm already free. Okay, but you're
- 50:19Speaker 1: gonna be sure, You're gonna need paperwork to show your
- 50:22Speaker 1: freedom and you don't. Do you have any freedom papers
- 50:25Speaker 1: at this point right now? No, because I don't need
- 50:27Speaker 1: freedom I'm free, sir. I don't think you quite understand.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Do you understand that you could possibly if you're caught
- 50:34Speaker 1: without your freedom papers, you could be taken into captive
- 50:38Speaker 1: and actually have to work for so many years in
- 50:41Speaker 1: order and and then later on you might get your freedom.
- 50:43Speaker 1: But right now, right here, if you buy freedom papers
- 50:47Speaker 1: from me, I can I can fix it where you
- 50:49Speaker 1: don't go through that you can actually get separated from
- 50:52Speaker 1: your family. Sir. I'm not going by where they gonna
- 50:54Speaker 1: send me to where they gonna deport me to after
- 50:56Speaker 1: I've never been there. No, No, you're not going to Africa.
- 50:59Speaker 1: You could be actually in the United States working on
- 51:01Speaker 1: on a particular farm of with a lot of people
- 51:05Speaker 1: who don't have their papers. If you haven't gotten this news,
- 51:09Speaker 1: I do apologize, but within the next six months. You're
- 51:12Speaker 1: going to need freedom papers to you anyway, sir. Like
- 51:16Speaker 1: I said before, I'm Scott with FBI, no SPI, f THIRDS,
- 51:23Speaker 1: FPI's freedom papers and corporal. I don't give what it is.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I'm not about to pay no no money to be free, sir.
- 51:30Speaker 1: You have to have paperwork on you to show that
- 51:33Speaker 1: you are a free citizen of the United States. Hold,
- 51:36Speaker 1: how do you get my number anyway? Sir? We have
- 51:39Speaker 1: a list of numbers of people that we don't think
- 51:41Speaker 1: have their freedom papers, and your name actually popped up
- 51:45Speaker 1: here in our database. So many pop up phones. Okay, sir,
- 51:49Speaker 1: I'm trying to give my number, Sir. We have a

- 52:03Speaker 1: you know it's two hundred dollars per person to get
- 52:06Speaker 1: these actual paper So you're telling me you got database
- 52:10Speaker 1: and you're just calling black people all around the punchers. Well, no, sir,
- 52:13Speaker 1: what we're doing is we're calling African Americans and let them,
- 52:16Speaker 1: letting them know that they can actually uh, buy freedom
- 52:19Speaker 1: papers from us so they don't have to be if
- 52:21Speaker 1: they're if they're if they ever get captured, then what
- 52:25Speaker 1: can happen is is that they can show their papers
- 52:27Speaker 1: and not have to deal with the problems that we
- 52:31Speaker 1: already free. You're gonna have a whole bunch of runaway
- 52:33Speaker 1: because we ain't paying. I'm not saying well, I'm not
- 52:36Speaker 1: saying sure, you're gonna have to have your freedom papers
- 52:40Speaker 1: on you at all times. That's gonna be the law
- 52:42Speaker 1: within the next six months. So what I'm trying to
- 52:44Speaker 1: end sell you freedom papers so you'll understand that you
- 52:48Speaker 1: you have everything that you need. You have your driver's license,

- 57:20Speaker 1: get arrested, what it's called the kronk dunk? You need?
- 57:26Speaker 1: You need no, Benjamin? Then all right? Did you did
- 57:33Speaker 1: you do it already? Nephew, I didn't. I did. Let's go.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Your uncle is crazy? All right? Subject? Should I tell
- 57:41Speaker 1: my wife about these women? Here's Stephen Shirley and and yeah,
- 57:46Speaker 1: and Tommy, by the way, you're in the letter, Tommy
- 57:49Speaker 1: is what? Yes? Yeah, you heard the subject? That the title?
- 57:54Speaker 1: You know, Dear Stephen Shirley. Before Junior even heard it,
- 57:57Speaker 1: he said, no, Dear Stephen Shirley. For months ago, I
- 58:00Speaker 1: married the love of my life. So far, our marriage
- 58:03Speaker 1: is great. I am a head chef at a high
- 58:06Speaker 1: end restaurant and I love my job, but I worked
- 58:10Speaker 1: long hours. There are a lot of beautiful single female
- 58:13Speaker 1: servers and bartenders that work at the restaurant, and it
- 58:16Speaker 1: seems like since I got married, these women have started
- 58:19Speaker 1: to show me a lot of attention. A couple of
- 58:22Speaker 1: the girls have asked me to hang out after work.
- 58:25Speaker 1: The other day, our girl slid her phone number and
- 58:27Speaker 1: address in my pocket and said I was welcome to
- 58:30Speaker 1: stop by. I love my wife with all my heart.
- 58:35Speaker 1: But as the saying goes, pressure can bust a pipe,
- 58:40Speaker 1: and mine is about to burst. Uh. You should see
- 58:43Speaker 1: these young women at my job. It's gotten so bad
- 58:45Speaker 1: that I've started leaving work early when I can to
- 58:48Speaker 1: avoid these situations. Here. This is for you, Nephew Tommy.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I know Nephew Tommy will not like this, but I
- 58:56Speaker 1: feel like I need to tell my wife what's going
- 58:58Speaker 1: on at my job. Up. She's always told me to
- 59:03Speaker 1: be honest with her no matter what I have not.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I have not pursued these women, and I'm afraid that
- 59:10Speaker 1: if my wife finds out later about them flirting with me,
- 59:13Speaker 1: she will be hurt. This is my third wife, and
- 59:17Speaker 1: I want my marriage to last. I am yea, I
- 59:25Speaker 1: am not a cheater, but this situation is driving me crazy.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, please help me before I do something stupid.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I need to make this urge go away. WHOA, alright,
- 59:40Speaker 1: this is a mess right here. Um. I love the
- 59:43Speaker 1: fact that you said you're not a cheater, though, so
- 59:45Speaker 1: let's work with that. You're not a cheater. I mean,
- 59:47Speaker 1: we're all humans, were not animals. We all have what's
- 59:50Speaker 1: called self control. You have to exercise some self control.
- 59:54Speaker 1: In this situation. What you're experiencing is temptation at its
- 59:59Speaker 1: highest level, coming at you from all directions. Please please
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: try to be strong. I mean, I'm just telling you
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: don't give into these women. You say you've managed to
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: avoid them so far. You say you are very in
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: love with your wife. Um, I say, go ahead. I
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: know the guys are not going to agree with me.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Go ahead and tell your wife, because yes, nothing's happening.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Go ahead and tell her that the women are coming
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: at you. The women are coming at you at work.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I don't want him to cheat. Tell your wife, tell
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: her so, Tell your wife, tell her, I want nothing's happening.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I'm not un drugs. Tell your wife. Why can't he
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: tell her? Tell her? Maybe that'll cut Maybe he won't
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: even think about cheating then even think about it, because
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you know he's thinking about it, all right. I'm just
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: saying and acting on it, acting on what he loves.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: His wife obviously surely hasn't never been a day as
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: a man now with these The Bible says, forgive her
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Lord for she no not, And that's what I'm gonna
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: have to do, no not subject. What should I tell
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: my wife about these women. Yes, question is your ass nuts?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Have you lost kill damn mine? What in you after
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: being divorced twice would make you walk in here with
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: this unnecessary confession. You ain't done enohing? What is you're
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: telling me? Ain't nothing happening that work? Why are you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: opening your damn MO to this woman who ain't got
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: no reason not to trust you. Why would you throw
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: that in the pot and start mixing it up? You're stupid,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: stupid for writing us. Stupid, you stupid, You're stupid boy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: But I'm so glad you wrote me because I'm want
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to stop this stupid for it swell up into the
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: dumbest damn decision of your life. Don't you listen to
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: show he don't know nothing. Shirley is a woman, y'all
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: all say that she always told me to be honest
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: with her no matter what. That's a damn lie. Two
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: responds coming up and after trying to throw me off
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: with you're listening, Steve coming up at the top of
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the hour. It's Carla's reality Update. But come on, Steve,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: this this bad advice to this man. Listen to me,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: he man, listen to me. Know what I'm talking about
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: this food. But brother, listen to me. I really appreciate you,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: right because I'm I'm finished up this stupid But he's
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: smart because he wrote on Steve, somebody that's on the
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: third Mary, Well he on his third man. Now he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: got something calming with Tommy, he got something calm with me.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: He came to me and really really ended because Sharlon
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: don't know the food? Should I tell my wife about
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: the fact that you asking the question? Is enough reasonable
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: doubt where you can't get convicted. You can't get convicted
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: on weis no boat down? You still free? Yeah? Oh,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: but you're gonna walk up there. Man, sit here, listen
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: to this right here, I'm head chef out of hand restaurant.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I love my job, but I work long hours. That's good,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: right there, you working long hour right there, you're working provide.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Then let's go down this line right here that there
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: are a lot of beautiful single female servants and bartenders
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: work in the restaurant. It seemed like since I got married,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: these women have started show me a lot of attention.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: So damn what, so damn what now you're getting attention?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Shut your mout. A couple of the girls have asked
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: me to hang out after work. The other day, girl
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: cleared the phone number that dress in my pocket and
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: said I was welcome to stop by. That's all she said.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Don't go over there now, Tommy gonna feel different about this.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: That's why you wrote us both. Don't go over that dog.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Just feel flattered. Wow, know that you not know that
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: you're a good catch to the one who caught you.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Just going right there. But then he said the other
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: day and that, and I said, I was working. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: love my wife with all my heart. Hold it right there.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That's the fact. That's what You go home and tell
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: your wife, I love you with all my heart. Damn,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: that's all the information. But as the saying goals, pressure
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: can bust her pipe. And they had a couple of
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: drinks and mine is about to bust. So now you've
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: fend to give in. So now you think if you're
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: going in and tell your one that that's gonna fix
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: your problem. No it's not. It's gonna create a whole
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: nothing problem. You're gonna throw some distrust in the relationship
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: that ain't there now. In long hours you working, she's
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: gonna stalk question. Remember that house she used to come
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: into that was so peaceful. Now you're gonna start getting
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: padded down. You're gonna get smelled. Yeah, what's in your time?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: She's gonna start smelling because women can smell another woman.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: You're gonna get your clothes man, all that. See right now,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you ain't doing nothing like that, So just let don't
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: worry about pressure busting a pipe. Don't go in there
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: and bust your damn self in the head with the pipe.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Now you should see these young women at my job.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: It's gotten so bad. I've started leaving work early when
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I can to avoid these situations. You're doing the right thing.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: If he do get some smell, have another woman smell
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: on it. Stop and get fifty cent way for gay
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: and pull it all over and stuff. Yeah, that's true.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: You can don't your gas pumping your caps. Just take
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: a little cap and get something in that cap and
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: throw it on you. It's easier to tell her I've
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: done that before. I don't rest out a lot of
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: stuff with gas. Good idea Thomas sake. Then he says,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I know, nephew Tommy would not like this, but I
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: feel like I need to tell my wife what's going on.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Joe John Tommy and don't like this. No, No, don't
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: done Tommy, Steve killed. He hasn't done anything. Len. Wait,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I have a perfect example, Carla. Yes, what does what
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: does Tash come home and tell you from time to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: time all the women at the job be flirting with him.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: They own me, baby, they're own your boy. Yeah jokes.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: She has always told me to be honest with her,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: no matter what. That's not true. Wait, what's not true? What?
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: She has always told me to be honest with her,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: no matter what. That's not true. It's a trap. It's
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: a trap. Dog guilty, it's a trap. Jack Nicholas said
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it best. You can't handle the truth, and they can't.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Now listen to me. I have not pursued these women,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and I'm afraid that if my wife finds out later
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: about them flirting with me, she will be hurt. Yes,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: let her be hurt, dead, don't you catus in your house? See,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: it's rather rather for her to be hurt to find
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: out that they flirt with you. How they gonna find
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: out if you leave the phone number in your pocket
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: that she's stuffed in that she's gonna find out and
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: he will. So what are you gonna bring the note
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: to the house. It's happened before, Steve, not to a
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: black woman. She gonna call down that your ass ain't
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: gonna be the head chef no more. She's gonna wreck
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: your job. He's gonna do it by accident. He's not
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: gonna do it on purpose. No better, he tell her, No,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: ain't the time for that. This is my third life, wife,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: and I want my marriage to laugh. You know while
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: you're on your third wife, because you've been walking in
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: there with information your ass ain't had no business going
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: in there. He's been cheating. I'm not a cheater. It's
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: his next line. I am not a cheater. But this
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: situation is driving me crazy. But then you just drying
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you crazy. You don't dry that information to the house,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: just let it drive you crazy. A whole lot of
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: stuff driving me crazy all the time. They walked past
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: me all the time, driving me crazy. We'll just say
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: your ass crazy. Yeah, walking in the house telling marger Man,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: this girl walked past. You should have seen how I felt.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: The thing I'm going in Stephen Shirley, please help me
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: before I do something stupid. The stupid thing to take
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: your ass in that house and tell I'm trying to
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: stop you from doing that. That's a stupid thing. We
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: gotta go. We'll be back with Mary's Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Show right after. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: All right. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Carlo's Reality Update. She's going to talk about black Ish
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: and Love and hip Hop Atlanta. But right now, let's
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: get back to this letter. Steve subject, should I tell
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: my wife about these women? And the answer is hell no.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Don't you listen to Shirley. Be honest, he's not doing anything.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: So what does it matter if he tells her or not? Steve,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: do you know why would you open up a candle?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Worms like? He hasn't done anything, So what have you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: got to tell you? So? Right, just tell that the
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: women are flirting with them? What? No? No, well why not?
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: It's not an issue. He's not doing anything with the women. Okay,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: surely here we go. I coming out, baby, I'll talk
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to you four minutes, Yes, baby, how how was how
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: was your day at work today? I need to talk
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: to you about Okay, let's talk. You know. I love,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: one's a lot of I love. We're so honest with me. Down.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: You know I'm hearing chef down you. I know I
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: work late. I remember when you got the job, and
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: it's a lot of single women down. Man. Fine, I'm
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: just bringing your attention a hitting on me, Well, it's
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: flirting with me. Well, honey, you're so handsome and you're
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: such a great chef. I would expect them to hit
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: on you. Yeah, but they putting phone numbers in my
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: pockets and telling me that I can stop buying. Well, honey,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: just tear up the phone numbers and just you know,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: go back to work and love another great day at
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: work or or or give it to me and I'll
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: take care of that for you. You You probably won't have
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: that problem anymore. When you say you take care of
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: it from me. What you're talking about doing, well, I
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: mean it's a phone number, right, so she put it
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: in there for a yes, But I don't want I
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: don't want you to call nobody because I've come across
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that's just some little punk ass dude. Well that's okay.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: You're my little punk and I love you, honey. See,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna be too many? Well see, I see you
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: think I'm a punk because I ain't gonna go over
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: there house, but keep going. I don't think over there
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: you my third wife? Hello, yeah, I get somebody now. Yeah.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: The goal is to stay married, not to continually marry
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: and divorce. But you know how I'm gonna stay married.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Somebody think I'm a little punk. I don't think you're
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: a little punk. I don't think I'm a punk. Down
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: at the job now, I know that she's fine too. Okay, Well,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: you know what, I'll tell you what tomorrow, you get
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: dressed to go to work, I get dressed. I'll go
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: with you. I'll come down there with you. And what
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: you're going down to my job? See what's going on now?
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Just told you what was going on. He don't need
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you to come down there. Well, I know you don't
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: need me to honey. No, I don't want you to
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: come down. Okay, so you don't want me to come down?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Are you doing anything with these women? Not bought this
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: to the house. Now, now we're get into why he
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: don't need to bring it to that because this way
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: it's gonna turn. It's gonna go just like that. Now.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I don't want I'm just bringing it to your attention. Okay, Well,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: thank you for bringing it to my attention. I appreciate it.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: But what you're looking at me like that photo because
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I just want I always like to look in your
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: eyes because I just love coming down Now, Well, if
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I feel the need to come down there, yes, because
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I told but I told you you are taking but
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I told need to know that, but they already know that.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I'm mad. I went to you are a great chef
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and you could get another job if it goes told
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: me not. But see, you made your mistake when you
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: said you didn't want me down there. Don't your mistake.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I don't know. Man, wan't his wife come down this
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: job talking to that co work? That's sexual harassment. They're
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: going down here harass need people. Just to make sure
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you know, I'll just come down there and we'll have
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: lunch together, honey, and you can introduce me to some
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: of these women to okay, do they have men of
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: their own? Because maybe we can they single? Oh they're
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: all single? Okay, all right, well tomorrow I'll be down
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: there lunch. Don't come down the conversation right there. That's why, dog,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: did you hear me? Listen to me? I'm done? Don't
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: you care? And what's for dinner? That kitchen. But send
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: me the number. Let me let me handle this right quick.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Let me close this out because here is a very
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: important line at the end of this letter. Come on,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Stephen Shelly, please help me before I do something stupid.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I need to make this urge go away. Now listen
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: to him. What you actually come into is an old
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: saying that every itch I need to get scratched. The
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: only way to make the itch go away is you
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: got to scratch it. See but now listen, let me
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: teach you something. Let go now, I'm going to teach him. So,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: but that is a form of scratching that you can
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: do that's not scratching. It's it has a form of
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: scratching that you can do in your head itch. You
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: can scratch without scratching it. And it's called the weave pack.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: If you pack that, it's pat So now what you
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: gotta do it is to address this urge, to make
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: it go away. You don't scratch the itch. You got
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: packed to it. Yeah. See when she take that number,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: slide it in your top pocket, you take it out
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: your pocket, sliding back in hot top pocket. So that's patting. Yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: she won't at you. You won't get huh okay, I
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: like you know what I'm saying. What you want to now?
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: He needs to make this urge go away. Yeah, so
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: you got to release some of the pressure in this
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: pipe for the pipe bus, and the way to release
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: the pressure is to let some out there. You go
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: packed the itch, but don't scratch the j You'll be
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: cheating if you listen to this. I stand. I'm saying
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you don't think patting is gonna lead to something. If
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: he don't do nothing, his pipe gone, boss, you must
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: release the pressure. Coming up at this part coming up
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Hit me up if
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: you want to comment on this letter at my girls
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Shureley and don't forget to join me later today. This
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: should be a good one for a Strawberry Letter live
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: after show on Facebook one p m. Eastern time. I
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: want to see you there. Okay, I'm switching gears. Coming
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Carla will be
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: here with her reality updates. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show. Get ready to get ready to get ready.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: It's that time. Carla Ferrell is here with realityep date. Okay,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. I trow and make sure you make
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: that change. It's Carla's reality update. Okay, alright, thank you.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: All right, let's talk about a scripted show, black Ish
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Love Anthony Anderson, Tracy Ellis Ross Well. On the show,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: you know, they have a baby, DeVante. They named him
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: after DeVante and Jodacie. But anyway, Junior's group. Look anyway, DeVante,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: he turned one years old and they had a big
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: birthday party. But it seems like Drey and Bow. That's uh,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Anthony's character and Tracy's character. They are married husband and
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: wife and they are they're in this rough patch in
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: their marriage, yes, and they are arguing about a lot
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: of petty stuff. And one of the things they were
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: arguing about if the baby. The baby turned one and
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: then Drey was upset because the baby isn't walking yet,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: and so he was concerned, and uh, Bow her character,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: she wasn't concerned. She felt like Drey was overreacting. So
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: throughout the episode they were having arguments over petty things
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: like watching dishes, the birthday party. So they went to
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: see a couple of therapist and the therapy told them
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: to go out date night and his co workers warned
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: him and you know, Dion Cole is one of his
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: co workers, Wanda Sykes, So you know they are off
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the change, but they were warning him about when the
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: couples in the marriage and start having trouble and you
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: scheduling sex and just different warning signs to look out
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: that there is issues. So anyway, long story short, they
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: kept arguing throughout the episode and they tried to have
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: sex and that didn't work out. The baby end up
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: walking at the end of the episode. But they are
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: still they are still having problems, they're still fighting. So
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: my question social media. Hit me up on Instagram and few,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: what Tommy, when ain't no sex happening? It's in the house,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you know that? Yeah, yeah, yes, that's when you're both
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: walk around naked right there. You've been speaking to naked up.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Let's try to get it jumped off a little. I
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: passed it in front of you a couple of times.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: It might spark your scheduling it right right, So hit
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: me up on the gram at lips spark Carla. If
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: you and your spouse, if you were bickering or you
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: were bickering and arguing over petty things, what did you
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: do to fix it? Give me up lips SPARKR. You
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: give it, Steven, Yeah, right now, huh right, because you
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: always say you could be right or happy. That's what
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you always say, Steve. That's right. That's the only choice
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: you had. Yeah. I love that choice. I live by it.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Happy wife, happy life, Moving on, love and hip hop.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Atlanta Jessica Dime. I like her. She's pregnant and her
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: fiance is overseas playing ball. So her doctor, doctor Jackie,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: told her that she needs a support group to help
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: her during her pregnancy. And I also told you guys
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: that Stevie j you know, possibility of him going to prison, well,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: he had to get together and he told his friends
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: that he might have to go to jail for four
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: months over his child support drama. But you know, it
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: kind of brings up the question and his kids, most
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: of his kids are grown, but for in your child
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: and tell you back and they live with you, and
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: they live with you. Yeah, yeah, so it's some You
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: have to think about this. If you send a man
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: to jail, he can't produce an income. So if he's behind,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: he's gonna be further behind. I think there has to
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: be something in place to get these guys to pay
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the child support under court orders, but some kind of way.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Because you send a man to jail, he's gonna get
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: a record. It's gonna be hard to get work after that.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: And then you gotta another father miss it. I don't know, man,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I don't I don't know. The child support, you know. Yeah,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and his kids love it, Yeah, they do. What's more important?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Is it the money or the love of the guidance
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: in the time time? Yeah? Right right, Well, you know
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: he has a baby, He has a baby with Jocelyn,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: and then he has a baby with me me Eva,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: she's what maybe about nine. For the money, that's the thing.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: They say. It's some back child support issues. And I'm
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: looking at these kids like, well those kids are growing.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: It is for the older kids, Carla. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: just ongoing about that. So I don't know. But Steve,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you kept in one hundred what you just said. Yeah,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: and me me. She had a meeting with Stevie's artists,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Erica and them, you know, just letting them know that
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: she will be handling the business and all that, and
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: things got heated and Erica she got dragged out of
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: the meeting with you know, the security on those reality shows,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you know, should have. Yeah. Yeah, she's yelling at the
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: security in their face, telling them that she's not scared
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: of them and the only reason they have jobs is
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: because of her. Yeah yeah, they had to get her
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: on out of there. So that was loving hip hop Atlanta.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: And let me say this, tonight is the final episode
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: of Scandal. Yes, Scandal is done tonight. Yeah, over after
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: the night. Yes, this is it. After seven seasons, Junior
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Gladiators workers popcorn, you've been not saying you've been not?
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: You did not? You say no, let him see six
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: seven seasons, you've been not. I've never seen single, we believe,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: I've never seen one. I've never seen I can't name
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: other than Cary Washington. I can't name sold on that.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: It's so yeah, I ain't seen a power Okay, stop,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: you're gonna stop. I haven't seen an episode of any
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: of that. Okay, what time do you come on? I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: thought you want I thought watch yeah, oh yeah and
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: updates ten seconds. We gotta go. Hit me up lips
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: about Carla Gladiators. Tell me what you'll miss about the show,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: miss about Scandal, and we'll be back at twenty after
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Now I saw Gladia. You're listening to the Steven Show.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you know you told us when the
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Kardashians were going to be on your show, Celebrity Family Feud.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: But you were on Ellen and you told Ellen all
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: about the upcoming episode with the Kardashians. Here it is,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: take a listen. I cannot wait to see this. So
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: you did a celebrity edition with the Kardashians. Okay, here's
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: what happened. They were supposed to come. They were supposed
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to play against the Paris Hilton family, the Hiltons, the
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Hiltons against the Kardashian the Hilton's counsel. So Kanye, who
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: was a big fan of Family Feud, said I want
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: to play. I've always wanted to play. So he bought
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: his family some people you don't know, these cousins, and
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: they were just like they were like the best car.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: They were just like hood. You know. It was just
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: it was just such a good thing. So it was him,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: uh Kim and his three family members against Chris and
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: the sisters. But for the first time, Ember we put
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: six people on one side because the grandmother said they
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: told her she couldn't play and said, well, I dressed
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: up to see Steve and so we put her right
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: next to Chris Kanye. When I introduced him, he smiled.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Just tune in and you'll see Kanye smiling. He's happy.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: He was very happy. He does not smile a lot.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Kim didn't know nothing, no, no, no, and they still
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: said good answer, good answer. Yeah. Well their families a
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: little bit different. When you don't give a good hands,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: they go, what did you say? I don't know who
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: that dude was. Yeah, it was fun. I I also
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: saw when you tell when you told Ellen Steve, Kim
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: didn't know anything. He ain't get an answer, right. Beautiful. Yeah,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: they're gorgeous girls, a beautiful family. Really really had a
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: good time. Kanye people they were they had degrees and everything.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: It was smarter. Yeah, Kanye was the best player. Oh great,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: Oh Kanye was in it. Man came, I said, ladies
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: and gentlemen, past money. They turned the corner. Usual, the
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: boy came around the corner. They went crazy. Wow. I
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: can't wait to see it. Celebrity family feud coming in
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: about a month, so look out for that. You can
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: watch Steve today on its talk show, and then tonight
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: you can catch Steve hosting Showtime at the un I
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: love that tonight. Man, there's a dude on that it's
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: saying very white Oh man practice with Oh really, how
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: did he say? What? Nothing like Barry white Man, He'll wow,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: something wrong with me? Oh he was singing, so he
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: didn't get booed. Huh, that's good. They were fanning in
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: they thigh. Hello. Wow. Are you still having fun doing
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: that show? Steve showtime? You're still having fun with it.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: It's my favorite show really because it was my first
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Okay that is that show put me on the map,
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: and to go back there, man, But be more ignorant
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: than I will, if that's even possible. All right, we'll
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: have We'll be back with more ignorance right here on
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve

- 1:29:20Speaker 1: When her family announced on Sunday that she was seriously ill,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: no one thought that she would pass so soon. Her
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: funeral will be attended um by about fifteen. I think
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: she knew because I think he wanted to go home. Yeah,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: she wanted to go home. And being wanted to go home.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: It's like Billy Graha wrote that book, his last book,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: Nearing Home. I mean, man, you just go wild and
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: these are really really great people. You know, well you
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: figure in your nineties, you know. Yeah, I'm shooting one
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: off ful really asking God for one on four. I'm
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: just going to see if he called me earlier. I
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: just hope I'm ready. Can't this week, you got a
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: lot of stuff going on. Trying to right now. I
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: just really don't want to not this to clear a
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: couple of moms. Come, God, cannot be this week, Lord,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: if it's this week, y'all, please, Lord, not this week
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: you were gonna be at No. I mean y'all got
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: to really put in some prairie now. I mean y'all
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: need to get on your knees. If you find out
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: I went to date, you need to get on your
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: knees and go fox whatever he was working on, letting
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: him there. And then when I get to the gate,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: if you don't mind doing him like lasts. But when
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: I get to the gate, though, I do want you
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: all to know that, if necessary, I will be snitching
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: I get up to that everybody. I don't want I'm
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: point out something. What are you gonna tell? Yeah? But
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: Tommy over Tommy, Tommy remember that time, Junior. Yeah, you
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: don't pulling everybody? Yeah? You see how Monica down? After?
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: Why would I have I'll be putting people and you
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: see that girl up there. We'll do our social media
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: see things she poached it the other day? How right?
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: What was that? Yeah for Stormy on? Lord, she's still down?
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: Now come on? Now, I know I took my clothes
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: off with some people, I barely, but not for money,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: and I showed it little aboudy feeling and on the
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: other hand, if they if they've done good things, you'll
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: speak up. I gotta get I gotta get the curve
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: creative because I need the Lord to be grading on
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: the curage. So I'm gonna have to point out the
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: other people that I think it's batting seving it percent man,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: just crazy. I'm just open that the Lord, like, you know,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: treat me like a baseball player. What does that mean?
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: You know, if you're bating three hunt it, you all stop. Yeah,
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: So if you just let me in with treat me
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: like a baseball just give me, give me a bad Narratah.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back to close out the show
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: with our last break of the day and Steve's closing
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: remarks right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: All right, here we are, last break of the day.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: It's been a fun day to day, guys, really fun. Yeah.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I know, I'm loving Steve and I disagree. All right, Steve,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: We've had a great day, like I said, and it's
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: time for your closing remarks and you're gonna do something
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: special today. I'm gonna doing something a little bit different today.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: Not to throw anybody off, specially to school in Mississippi.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: But today I want to pay tribute to somebody. You know.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I was messing around with Taylor Swift the other day
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: and her rendition of September, and I was telling the
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: joke again onto my studio audience, and one girl, who's
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: obviously huge Taylor Swift fan, said, Mr Harvey, I know
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: you said you like Taylor so, but why are you
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: so angry that she did that? And I said, because
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: you don't know what music means to me. I'm actually
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: an expert in music. I really really am. It's not
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: that I sing or play, it said, I'm an expert
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: of the sound of music. I know good music, I
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: know real music I picked. I can't tell you how
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: many hits. I love music, but I love nothing nothing
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: like I love Earth. When the five so more Reice
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: before he passed. His book is called Timeless. At first
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: it was called here to this guy. Then they changed
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: it to be Ever Wonderful. Well, they changed it again
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: to Timeless, but he asked me to write the forward
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: to the book. I wrote the or it my own way.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: I turned it in the writer gave it back to
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: me scrubbed up. I said, this isn't what I wrote.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: He said, Mr Harvtt, we can't print that. I'm telling
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: you how I feel about it Winning five. I can't
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: write it no other way. He said, I'm sorry, we
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: can't do it. I said, well, tell Maurice, I appreciate it, man,
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: but I can't write nothing now. They went back to Maurice.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: Maurice said, you left Steve Harvey right. However, he want
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: to write about us because we mean something to that man.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: I've introduced Earth Winning five. I was with him when
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: they had the ceremony for putting their hands in the
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: side walk out in l A in front of the
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: Good Task Store. I did the Lifetime Achievement Award for them.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: They know how I feel about them, so I wrote
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: the forward. Today, I'm gonna read you what I wrote
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: about Earth Winning five. This is why I feel what
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: I feel about Taylor Swift or anybody else who wants
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: to remake the greatest group of all times. This is
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: what I wrote. I said to write about how I
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: feel about Earth Winning five. A musical group that has
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: meant more to me than any other is a true blessing.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: The band's music is stored in my soul. I first
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: heard the group when I was in high school. I
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: never forgot the power of the album Head to the Sky.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: The song that I absolutely loved was this World Is
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: a Masquerade. It remains my jam. By the time I
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: got to college, I was all over them. As a
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: freshman at Kent State, I vividly remember walking into a
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: store called the Cucumber Castle and buying Earth Winding Fires
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: That's the Way of the World for three dollars and cents.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: At the time, it broke me, but it was well
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: worth it. More than four decades later, Earth Winning Fires
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: music is by far the most played music of my life.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: Loves Holiday, That's the way the world can't hide love
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: and be ever wonderful or in my personal top ten.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: Earth Winding Fires simply one of the greatest living groups period.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: No one put together lyrics to a melody like they did.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: No one put harmony to sound and rhythm like they did.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: No one added horns in the way they did. No one,
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: but no one mess with our minds about love and
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: life like they did. They remained so thoroughly committed to soul,
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: yet had a universal sound and appeal. On top of
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: all that, they knew how to show. I can't express
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: how fully and completely. This band has touched my being.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: They have moved me beyond words over the years. The
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: lyrics interpret and convey my emotions, and in harmony, they
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: seeing my feelings exactly as they are in words that
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: could not have said it better. I've shared the music
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: with my three sons, age ranging from almost adult to
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: the mid twenties. I was excited when they all put
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: several albums in their eyepad. It made me smile. It
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: is an honor to be asked to endorse Maurice White's
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: amazing life story of how he took his band from
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: conception to legendary status. The book is rich in tales
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: of brothers. In song that damn Verdin the Base, White,
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Philip have Mercy, Bailey, and the rest of the heaven
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: sent bad God was right on time when he hooked up.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: They stilled. My interpretation of the elements is this Earth
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: because they grow on you, When, because they move you
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: in one loving direction. And Fire because they set your
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: heart a flame. Hands down, Earth, Wind and Fire is
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: the greatest group of all time. Maurice, I love and
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: appreciate you at the highest level. This book made me
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: smile over and over again. Learning behind the scenes of
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: your music, getting a chance to hear your thoughts behind
