Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm actually saying what I'm about to say,
- 0:02Speaker 1: but apparently Hillary Clinton is genuinely thinking about running for
- 0:08Speaker 1: president for a third time in the twenty twenty four elections.
- 0:12Speaker 1: How do I know this because Democrats have been tipping
- 0:15Speaker 1: me off to this for the last twenty four hours. Now.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton is doing what they call a masterclass. You
- 0:23Speaker 1: may not understand what a master class is, so I'm
- 0:26Speaker 1: going to explain it to you, all right, so you
- 0:28Speaker 1: understand during the holidays, it's actually a really cool thing.
- 0:32Speaker 1: There is a website called masterclass dot com and their goal,
- 0:36Speaker 1: they say, is to inspire the person who inspires you.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Masterclasses are classes that teach you things from experts instead
- 0:47Speaker 1: of having go to college or given example, there is
- 0:51Speaker 1: classes on there from food like Southern cooking from experts.
- 0:55Speaker 1: There's Aaron Franklin who as Franklin's Barbecue, who teaches Texas
- 0:58Speaker 1: style barbecuing. There's another woman who's famous for making bread
- 1:02Speaker 1: that will teach you how to make bread. Samuel Jackson,
- 1:05Speaker 1: for example, teaches an acting class. They're Nas teaches hip
- 1:10Speaker 1: hop style storytelling. Yo Yo Ma teaches music and connection.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Metallica teaches being a band for people that are wanting
- 1:18Speaker 1: to form a band or needing a band. I mean,
- 1:21Speaker 1: we're talking about some of the most premier names out there.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Simone Bio teaches gymnastics and fundamentals. One of the top
- 1:29Speaker 1: poker players in the world teaches a class on poker.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Wayne Gretzky teaches an athletics athletes mind set class about
- 1:38Speaker 1: the mental side of things. These are some of the
- 1:41Speaker 1: biggest names out there in the world who teach these classes.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Cornell West, for example, teaches philosophy. Bill Nye, the Science Guy,
- 1:51Speaker 1: teaches science and problem solving. Now I keep giving you
- 1:55Speaker 1: these names to let you understand it's not crazy that
- 1:58Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton was asked to do a master class. Like,
- 2:01Speaker 1: it makes sense, right, She's a big name. And how
- 2:04Speaker 1: this works as they sit down with you and you
- 2:07Speaker 1: teach something. Bill Clinton, by the way, is doing a
- 2:11Speaker 1: leadership class on Masterclass. So is President George Bush. Madeline
- 2:16Speaker 1: Albrighton Lisa Rice are doing a class together on diplomacy.
- 2:21Speaker 1: These are some of the big names. So Hillary Clinton
- 2:25Speaker 1: is teaching a class on power and resilience. That's what
- 2:29Speaker 1: she's going to do on Masterclass. And they decide to
- 2:32Speaker 1: use this moment to then kind of soft launch a
- 2:36Speaker 1: potential twenty twenty four presidential campaign against Donald Trump. That's
- 2:43Speaker 1: where you got to scratch your hand. Go wait a second,
- 2:47Speaker 1: what Hillary Clinton trying to reinvent herself again. Yes, and
- 2:50Speaker 1: she had a big warning from her big Today's Sunday interview.
- 2:55Speaker 1: She said that if Donald Trump wins the twenty twenty
- 2:57Speaker 1: four election, this could be the end of democracy in America. Now,
- 3:00Speaker 1: this is coming from the psychotic crazy woman who actually
- 3:04Speaker 1: wants you to believe that she's in favor of democracy
- 3:09Speaker 1: when she is the one in her campaign. Are the
- 3:12Speaker 1: people that put together the Trump dossier and allowed that
- 3:15Speaker 1: dossier which they knew they created out of thin air,
- 3:17Speaker 1: They orchestrated it, they wrote it right, they put it
- 3:20Speaker 1: all together, and they knew it was being used to
- 3:23Speaker 1: impeach a sitting president. It's America. This is a woman
- 3:26Speaker 1: that actively watched and advocated through her work, through her lies,
- 3:31Speaker 1: the overthrow of the will of the American people. Was
- 3:37Speaker 1: there any questions about that, like, Hey, Hillary, look, there's
- 3:40Speaker 1: it's very clear now from the Durham investigation that you
- 3:42Speaker 1: guys are the ones that paid for you, were the
- 3:45Speaker 1: guys that put it all together. You were the guys
- 3:48Speaker 1: that created a story out of thin air and tried
- 3:50Speaker 1: to ruin people's lives and put people in jail, including
- 3:53Speaker 1: the President and his colleagues, over something that you knew
- 3:56Speaker 1: the entire time was a lie that was fabricid, that
- 3:58Speaker 1: you guys created out of thin air. That question, don't
- 4:02Speaker 1: worry was not asked, Yes, that question was not asked
- 4:07Speaker 1: of Hillary Clinton. But what they did do over at
- 4:10Speaker 1: the Today Show, Sunday and NBC News as they soft
- 4:14Speaker 1: launched her presidential campaign. Now, I didn't watch this live.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Want to make it clear, I had no interest in
- 4:20Speaker 1: watching it. I just thought it was going to be okay,
- 4:21Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton talks about masterclass. Boy was I wrong. This
- 4:28Speaker 1: was completely different. This was a very obvious, hey does
- 4:34Speaker 1: America still like Hillary Clinton? Moment. She also said that
- 4:40Speaker 1: those channing lock her up had no idea what they
- 4:42Speaker 1: were talking about, and it was a threat to freedom
- 4:44Speaker 1: and democracy in this country to lock her up, even
- 4:46Speaker 1: though she tried to do exactly that by framing the
- 4:50Speaker 1: President of the United States America and his friends for
- 4:53Speaker 1: crimes that they did not commit colluding with the Russians.
- 4:56Speaker 1: She knew that it wasn't true because she's the one
- 4:58Speaker 1: that orchestrated it, same woman that had a server in
- 5:02Speaker 1: her basement for top secret information. This is a woman
- 5:07Speaker 1: who cannot be trusted. Yet NBC News is like, all right,
- 5:10Speaker 1: Joe Biden's a disaster, Biden Inflation's out of control. We
- 5:14Speaker 1: can't keep the genie in the bottle any longer because
- 5:16Speaker 1: the American people are figuring it out and understanding that
- 5:19Speaker 1: this total crap right now, right, they understand it, they
- 5:22Speaker 1: get it, They totally comprehend and understand it. And so
- 5:28Speaker 1: what they are now saying is, all right, we got
- 5:30Speaker 1: to find another person. Well, Hillary Clinton got really close
- 5:33Speaker 1: last time, got closer than she got the time before
- 5:35Speaker 1: when she ran against Barack Obama. Maybe America will put
- 5:38Speaker 1: her over the top, and maybe we want a rematch
- 5:40Speaker 1: against Donald Trump. This former secretary stayed. Hillary Clinton went
- 5:46Speaker 1: on the Today Sunday morning with Willie Geiss, and I
- 5:50Speaker 1: would argue, and you can listen to how they put
- 5:53Speaker 1: this out there. It was very clearly a soft launch,
- 5:58Speaker 1: a test the waters, a get some holding on. Does
- 6:01Speaker 1: America one? Hillary Clinton take a listen, welieving right up
- 6:04Speaker 1: until the end she would win and make history as
- 6:07Speaker 1: the first woman to be president of the United States
- 6:10Speaker 1: For five years, the victory speech she wrote has been
- 6:14Speaker 1: in a drawer, an artifact of what if history, But now,
- 6:18Speaker 1: as part of a new series on resilience, Clinton reads
- 6:21Speaker 1: that emotional address for the first time. She gave us
- 6:24Speaker 1: an exclusive first look during a wide ranging conversation about
- 6:28Speaker 1: the state of the country since that election. Secretary Clinton
- 6:32Speaker 1: and I got together near her home outside of New
- 6:35Speaker 1: York City for a special two part Sunday sit down.
- 6:44Speaker 1: By the way, I gotta love how they say a
- 6:46Speaker 1: two part sit down. This isn't just one part. This
- 6:48Speaker 1: is a two part This is how you know this
- 6:51Speaker 1: is a soft run, right. They want to build momentum
- 6:54Speaker 1: from number one interview to the very next week. Now,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I don't think there was a bunch of people clamoring
- 6:59Speaker 1: to hear from Hillary Clinton right now. I may be wrong,
- 7:03Speaker 1: but I doubt it. I really do. I doubt it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I doubt that there's a bunch of people that are
- 7:09Speaker 1: out there going. Man, I wish somebody would do a
- 7:11Speaker 1: two part conversation with Hillary Rodham Clinton about her master
- 7:15Speaker 1: class teaching. I just don't see it. Again, I could
- 7:19Speaker 1: be wrong. Hillary Clinton went for a long walk you
- 7:25Speaker 1: talked about after the twenty sixteen elections, sort of going
- 7:27Speaker 1: into the woods for a while and then being ready
- 7:30Speaker 1: to come out at some point. Yeah. I mean literally
- 7:33Speaker 1: the very first day after the election, when I said, okay,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I got to go for a walk. This is this
- 7:37Speaker 1: dude overwhelmingly depressing. And I ran it to this young
- 7:41Speaker 1: woman with her dog and her baby, and she gave
- 7:43Speaker 1: me a big hug and yes, and going into the
- 7:46Speaker 1: woods I find deeply restorative. Everybody will be knocked down.
- 7:51Speaker 1: The question is will you get back up? Now, the
- 7:54Speaker 1: two time presidential candidate is sharing the lessons she took
- 7:58Speaker 1: from those painful set in a new seminar called The
- 8:02Speaker 1: Power of Resilience for the online education platform master Class. Now,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I gotta just tell you something here. The power of
- 8:12Speaker 1: resilience implies that you're not going to stop. The power
- 8:17Speaker 1: of resilience implies that you're going to do it again. Right,
- 8:20Speaker 1: whatever it was that you failed at, you are still
- 8:24Speaker 1: going to be resilient in the face of that failure
- 8:27Speaker 1: and keep trying. Why do you think they named it
- 8:29Speaker 1: this They're trying to float the idea of Hillary Clinton
- 8:32Speaker 1: becoming president. What's even more amazing, about this master class
- 8:37Speaker 1: is it's very clear that every aspect of it has
- 8:40Speaker 1: been done on purpose to make you think of Hillary
- 8:43Speaker 1: as the president. I'll give you a great example. It's
- 8:46Speaker 1: three different bays of windows behind her with flowers that
- 8:49Speaker 1: look like the rose garden. Some of them look like
- 8:51Speaker 1: they're roses. It's a blue wall, white bright window panes,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and a desk that looks like a desk you would
- 8:59Speaker 1: see in the overall office. In fact, the room is
- 9:01Speaker 1: designed to look like it is an oval office, desk
- 9:04Speaker 1: in an oval office with those beautiful flowers outside of
- 9:07Speaker 1: the window. Every aspect of this overcoming, you know, this
- 9:13Speaker 1: adversity and being resilient and running for president for a
- 9:16Speaker 1: third time when you were shocked that you didn't win
- 9:18Speaker 1: the first time. In the second time, and then, of course,
- 9:21Speaker 1: Donald Trump's the worst person in the world, so we
- 9:23Speaker 1: tried to ruin his life. We tried to destroy him
- 9:24Speaker 1: and anyone around him with lies. We won't ask you
- 9:27Speaker 1: about that now because we're NBC News and we're trying
- 9:29Speaker 1: to launch Hillary Clinton for president twenty twenty four. So
- 9:34Speaker 1: we show you this image, your imagery of Hillary Clinton
- 9:37Speaker 1: looking like she is a president. They had to do this,
- 9:41Speaker 1: of course, under the disguise that it wasn't really a
- 9:44Speaker 1: launch for her running for president. It has to be
- 9:47Speaker 1: under a oh wait, just kidding, which is all about
- 9:49Speaker 1: a masterclass she's going to teach online about resiliency, which
- 9:54Speaker 1: resiliency means you get up and you try even when
- 9:57Speaker 1: you fail, which would of course directly to connect to
- 10:00Speaker 1: this idea that Hillary Clinton is running for president United
- 10:05Speaker 1: States of America again and that Donald Trump is of
- 10:08Speaker 1: course the biggest threat to society, which is exactly what
- 10:11Speaker 1: they went with last time and it almost worked, so
- 10:12Speaker 1: let's try it again. But again, this is about a
- 10:16Speaker 1: master class. This is not about Hillary Clinton running for president. No,
- 10:19Speaker 1: this is all a Jedi mind trick in the Today's
- 10:21Speaker 1: show is going to help choreograph it. Take a listen.
- 10:23Speaker 1: When they asked me, I said, well, what do you
- 10:25Speaker 1: want me to talk about it? And they said, basically,
- 10:28Speaker 1: we want you to talk about why you have done
- 10:31Speaker 1: what you've done throughout your life and how you overcame
- 10:36Speaker 1: setbacks and disappointments and really became so resilient. I said, well,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I have a lot of experience of that. Clinton has
- 10:45Speaker 1: been a historic and polarizing figure over her three decades
- 10:50Speaker 1: at the highest reaches of power. By the way, all
- 10:53Speaker 1: that you're hearing right now, does any of this sound
- 10:55Speaker 1: like something It would be a conversation about her teaching
- 10:57Speaker 1: a master class and academic class. No, this sounds like
- 11:01Speaker 1: a launch of a presidential campaign, as first Lady of
- 11:05Speaker 1: the United States, as a New York senator, as Secretary
- 11:09Speaker 1: of State, and while running for president twice. So how
- 11:14Speaker 1: did you read and then deal with the criticism that
- 11:17Speaker 1: you've received, which includes people calling for you to be
- 11:20Speaker 1: locked up during a presidential campaign. Oh, by the way,
- 11:23Speaker 1: listen to this. This is amazing. How did you handle
- 11:25Speaker 1: this adversity? Now? I know, Hillary Clinton, that what you
- 11:28Speaker 1: tried to do is you tried to frame Donald Trump
- 11:30Speaker 1: for conspiring with the Russians so that you could win
- 11:32Speaker 1: an election. And it was obviously tough on him, but
- 11:35Speaker 1: it was tough on you too because people were chanting
- 11:37Speaker 1: lock her up. I mean, I know, granted, the reason
- 11:39Speaker 1: why people were chanting lock her up is because you
- 11:41Speaker 1: actually did something that should have locked you up. I mean,
- 11:44Speaker 1: you had an email server in your basement. You had
- 11:46Speaker 1: top secret information, classified documents on it, which were never
- 11:49Speaker 1: supposed to leave. You know, where you worked, and they
- 11:52Speaker 1: certainly want to be on an unsecure server and you
- 11:54Speaker 1: weren't supposed to be using an unsecure email. And other
- 11:56Speaker 1: people have gone to jail for far less than this,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and you put national security at risk. Oh no, we're
- 12:03Speaker 1: not gonna say any that. Why because we're NBC News
- 12:06Speaker 1: and our job at NBC News is to manipulate the news,
- 12:12Speaker 1: to not remind people of what actually happened, not remind
- 12:14Speaker 1: people of what she actually said or what she actually did,
- 12:18Speaker 1: or why people were chanting lock her up. And this
- 12:20Speaker 1: is the part that is, this is what we were
- 12:22Speaker 1: up against with this media. Willie guys who I know
- 12:26Speaker 1: for you know professionally, Okay, we chat, we follow each
- 12:31Speaker 1: other on Twitter. But he has his marching orders too,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and I'm sure he's a hard core liberal based on
- 12:38Speaker 1: what he says on the Today's Show and non MSNBC
- 12:40Speaker 1: News on Morning Joe, And he knows what he's doing
- 12:43Speaker 1: right now. He knows how to manipulate the public. This
- 12:47Speaker 1: is what you do. This is how you manipulate the public.
- 12:52Speaker 1: What he's doing right now, This is how you do it.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's very simple, and you tell people where they were chanting.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Lock you up, and you don't give any context for
- 13:00Speaker 1: why they were saying it, or any context of what
- 13:03Speaker 1: was being said at the time or what was going
- 13:05Speaker 1: on at the time. You just say, these evil Republican
- 13:08Speaker 1: Trump supporters want to throw you in jail, which is
- 13:10Speaker 1: a threat to democracy because it didn't like you, and
- 13:13Speaker 1: it puts a very scary precedent out there for others,
- 13:18Speaker 1: like were you shocked by this treatment? Now again, overlooking
- 13:21Speaker 1: everything she did against Donald Trump and knowing that they
- 13:25Speaker 1: were trying to overthrow the will of the people with
- 13:27Speaker 1: an impeachment based solely on information and only information, okay,
- 13:34Speaker 1: only only information, that they created a thin air. That's
- 13:42Speaker 1: when this happened, and we know that for a fact.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Ask her any questions about that? No, no, no, you
- 13:48Speaker 1: ask her about lock her up? You say, was it
- 13:51Speaker 1: shocking to you? Which includes people calling for you to
- 13:53Speaker 1: be locked up during a presidential campaign. What I learned
- 13:57Speaker 1: was to take criticism seriously, but not personally. You mentioned
- 14:02Speaker 1: lock her up, and what an absurd, in many ways
- 14:06Speaker 1: dangerous attack because we're supposed to live in a society
- 14:11Speaker 1: governed by the rule of law, and the people chanting
- 14:15Speaker 1: that and yelling it at me. First of all, had
- 14:17Speaker 1: no idea what they were talking about. And secondly, by
- 14:20Speaker 1: the way, she did know exactly what they were talking
- 14:22Speaker 1: about it, and so did Willie Guys and so Today's show,
- 14:24Speaker 1: and so did everybody working on this interview, and they
- 14:26Speaker 1: all knew what they were talking about. They were referring
- 14:28Speaker 1: to the Clinton emails. They were referring to the fact
- 14:31Speaker 1: that she had broken the law on her server, having
- 14:34Speaker 1: it in her basement that was unsecured, and other people
- 14:37Speaker 1: had gone to prison for far less. That's what they
- 14:42Speaker 1: were referring to. She knew it, and to say now
- 14:44Speaker 1: that she didn't know it, and for Willie Guys in
- 14:46Speaker 1: that moment not to correct her and say, well, just
- 14:48Speaker 1: to put it in context, former Secretary of State Clinton,
- 14:52Speaker 1: this is what people referring to at the time. This
- 14:54Speaker 1: is why they started chanting it. This is when they
- 14:56Speaker 1: started chanting it. And the reason it wasn't just because
- 14:58Speaker 1: you're running for office, It was because of this. You
- 15:03Speaker 1: think there's a follow up in their Hell, No, because
- 15:05Speaker 1: it's Hillary Clinton and we're helping her launcher twenty twenty
- 15:08Speaker 1: four presidential campaign. We're being instigated to do that. So
- 15:13Speaker 1: I don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. And
- 15:16Speaker 1: I think that if people don't shrink from criticism but
- 15:22Speaker 1: understand where it's coming from, you can go through life
- 15:26Speaker 1: and withstand a lot of incoming attacks. Because you have
- 15:31Speaker 1: to my fellow Americans, today you sent a message to
- 15:36Speaker 1: the whole world. I think the moment that is going
- 15:38Speaker 1: to stick out to most people in this master class
- 15:41Speaker 1: is an extraordinary one where you read what you call
- 15:44Speaker 1: the would be victory speech that was supposed to be
- 15:46Speaker 1: delivered at the jab At Center November eight, twenty sixteen.
- 15:50Speaker 1: What compelled you to sit down and revisit that speech?
- 15:53Speaker 1: I wanted to be as helpful as I could to
- 15:57Speaker 1: the viewers and to the process of being in a masterclass.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I didn't, as you know, write a concession speech because
- 16:03Speaker 1: even though we had a lot of bumps those last
- 16:06Speaker 1: ten days, I still thought, you know, we could pull
- 16:10Speaker 1: it out. So I love this. I'm such a narcissist
- 16:13Speaker 1: that I just knew I was gonna win. I didn't
- 16:14Speaker 1: run a concession speech. Hillary Clinton doesn't lose an election.
- 16:17Speaker 1: We had all the money in the world. We had
- 16:20Speaker 1: hundreds of millions of dollars coming into the Clinton Foundation.
- 16:22Speaker 1: We had everybody in the world bribing us for access.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I hoard out the State Department to make sure that
- 16:27Speaker 1: my family was set up forever and ever. Amen. And
- 16:31Speaker 1: I couldn't imagine I would lose to a guy by
- 16:33Speaker 1: the name of Donald Trump. You just don't lose when
- 16:35Speaker 1: you're Donald Trump. You don't excuse me, you don't lose
- 16:39Speaker 1: to Donald Trump. I'm Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump can't win, right,
- 16:44Speaker 1: There's no way that Donald Trump could actually win an election.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Come on, I'm Hillary Rodham Clinton,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and I'm going to tell you that democracies in her
- 17:00Speaker 1: attack because of Donald Trump. And if Donald Trump runs again,
- 17:03Speaker 1: that's what she's saying right now. Okay, she's saying Donald
- 17:07Speaker 1: Trump is going to run. She's afraid he's gonna run.
- 17:10Speaker 1: She's terrified he's gonna run. And so who's going to
- 17:12Speaker 1: stop Donald Trump because he's a quote threat to democracy.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Never mind the fact that she's actually the threat to
- 17:18Speaker 1: democracy because she tried to overthrow the will of the people.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Not a single damn question about that, none of it's asked.
- 17:25Speaker 1: We'll just keep putting this propaganda out there that Hillary
- 17:27Speaker 1: Clinton is our best chance because Biden is a disaster.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I worked on a speech that really was about my
- 17:36Speaker 1: journey and had a real emphasis on my mother's life
- 17:41Speaker 1: and journey. Clinton's late mother, Dorothy, was abandoned by her
- 17:46Speaker 1: parents at eight years old. By the way, you got
- 17:49Speaker 1: to ask yourself this question, if you're listening this to
- 17:51Speaker 1: night right now, does any of this sound like a
- 17:54Speaker 1: promotion for her teaching a academic class on Masterclass? No?
- 18:02Speaker 1: You look at all the other classes on there. Right,
- 18:06Speaker 1: James Suckling teaches wine appreciation. Thomas Keller teaches cooking techniques
- 18:10Speaker 1: with seafood. Right. Ron Finley teaches gardening. Gabriella Kamara, famous chef,
- 18:19Speaker 1: teaches Mexican cooking. Gordon Ramsay teaches cooking on master Class.
- 18:24Speaker 1: These are the things that are on there. Does any
- 18:26Speaker 1: of what they're talking about right now sound like that
- 18:28Speaker 1: they're talking about her teaching a master class. No, because
- 18:31Speaker 1: it's all done under the disguise of we're gonna package
- 18:34Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton for the presidency twenty twenty four, and we're
- 18:38Speaker 1: gonna tell you it's because she's teaching a master class.
- 18:41Speaker 1: We're not really trying to manipulate you, even though we're
- 18:43Speaker 1: clearly soft launching a presidential campaign. Clinton's late mother Dorothy
- 18:49Speaker 1: was abandoned by her parents at eight years old and
- 18:53Speaker 1: put on a cross country train to live with her grandparents.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I think about my mother every day. Sometimes I think
- 19:02Speaker 1: about her on that train. I wish I could walk
- 19:06Speaker 1: down the aisle. Get the water works ready, folks, get
- 19:10Speaker 1: those tissues ready. Here it is Hillary Clinton reading her
- 19:14Speaker 1: acceptance speech, talking about her mother. Of course it is
- 19:18Speaker 1: all under just hey, take her class on masterclass. Right.
- 19:20Speaker 1: We're not We're not trying to see if we're gonna
- 19:21Speaker 1: run for president here. No, and we're gonna cry. Hillary
- 19:24Speaker 1: Clinton's crying. You're gonna like her again. I promise we're
- 19:26Speaker 1: repackaging or rebranding her as Hillary Clinton three point zero.
- 19:30Speaker 1: She sucked the first two times, but maybe this time. Hell,
- 19:33Speaker 1: if Joe Biden can become president, maybe Hillary Clinton can too.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So when they asked me to do it, I really
- 19:42Speaker 1: had a hard time getting through it. It partly was
- 19:44Speaker 1: so emotional because it brought back what to me was
- 19:48Speaker 1: a great loss, not just for me but for our
- 19:51Speaker 1: country with somebody like Trump getting elected despite everything. But
- 19:56Speaker 1: it was also intensely personal, particularly at the end where
- 19:59Speaker 1: I talk about the little girl my mother was when
- 20:01Speaker 1: she was put on a train in Chicago. And you know,
- 20:04Speaker 1: my whole emphasis, starting when I was in law school
- 20:08Speaker 1: going forward on working for kids, was in many ways
- 20:12Speaker 1: motivated by the life my mother lived. I dream of
- 20:16Speaker 1: going up to her and sitting down next to her,
- 20:21Speaker 1: taking her in my arms, and saying, look at me,
- 20:25Speaker 1: listen to me. You will survive. You will have a
- 20:30Speaker 1: good family of your own and three children. And as
- 20:35Speaker 1: hard as it might be to imagine your daughter will
- 20:39Speaker 1: grow up and become the president of the United States.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I know people who I mean. This is not about
- 20:47Speaker 1: her teaching a class online. This is clearly not that. Now,
- 20:54Speaker 1: either NBC News thinks that the American people are this dumb,
- 20:57Speaker 1: or maybe they know that their audience is so liberal
- 21:01Speaker 1: that they're dumb enough to buy this package, a two
- 21:04Speaker 1: part series about her teaching an online class. Here's the
- 21:08Speaker 1: other part about this. So I've never seen anybody who
- 21:13Speaker 1: teaches a masterclass to do an interview this way, because
- 21:17Speaker 1: this entire time you're helping them make money. You get
- 21:20Speaker 1: paid for doing these classes, and you get paid for downloads.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I'll give you example. Phil Ivey teaches poker strategy, right
- 21:28Speaker 1: seven Curry teaches shooting ball handling and scoring. They've never
- 21:32Speaker 1: had an interview like this. Serena Williams does a masterclass
- 21:35Speaker 1: on teaching tennis. Tony Hawk teaches skateboarding. Lewis Hamilton teaches
- 21:41Speaker 1: a winning mindset. He's you know the IndyCar driver. You
- 21:44Speaker 1: got Wayne Gritzky and others that do this. Nobody has
- 21:48Speaker 1: gotten this type of a rollout. You got business great
- 21:54Speaker 1: minds that have taught classes as well. Mark Jacobs teaches
- 21:58Speaker 1: fashion design, Bob Iger teaches business strategy and leadership. Bob
- 22:02Speaker 1: Woodward teaches an investigative journalism. Robin Robert teaches effective and
- 22:05Speaker 1: authentic communication. None of them have gotten this type of
- 22:09Speaker 1: a treatment for teaching a class. Hell David axel Rod
- 22:12Speaker 1: and Karl Rove have never done an interview like this,
- 22:15Speaker 1: and they teach campaign strategy and messaging on masterclass. Howard
- 22:20Speaker 1: Schultz teaches business leadership class. Never done an interview like
- 22:23Speaker 1: this because this is not an interview about this. This
- 22:28Speaker 1: is an interview that is being set up to disguise
- 22:32Speaker 1: a soft launch of Hillary Clinton twenty twenty four. The
- 22:35Speaker 1: entire interview is a political interview. It is not about teaching,
- 22:40Speaker 1: showing her crying and what I mean what looks like
- 22:44Speaker 1: a fake oval office and giving the speech that she
- 22:47Speaker 1: would have give does what is basically saying, feel sorry
- 22:51Speaker 1: for her, right, feels sorry for her, Please feel sorry
- 22:58Speaker 1: for her. And if you feel sorry for her, listen
- 23:00Speaker 1: to what she would have done for this country if
- 23:02Speaker 1: you would have voted for her. Listen to how powerful
- 23:05Speaker 1: it is what she's going to say that she would
- 23:07Speaker 1: have done. Isn't it nice to hear this over two people,
- 23:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden and Donald Trump? Why would you do something
- 23:16Speaker 1: so humiliating as to rita speech that you never got
- 23:20Speaker 1: to give about you winning the presidency when clearly you
- 23:23Speaker 1: didn't win the presidency, Unless you're trying to tell people
- 23:27Speaker 1: you could hear this speech yet again, if you vote
- 23:30Speaker 1: for me one more time. I came up short last time.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I came up really short at the time before that.
- 23:36Speaker 1: But we keep getting closer. It's called resiliency. Oh, I'm
- 23:39Speaker 1: teaching a class on it. Vote for me, and this
- 23:43Speaker 1: is the speech that you are going to hear. Vote
- 23:49Speaker 1: for me, and this is what you will get who've
- 23:52Speaker 1: known you for a long time and say they've never
- 23:54Speaker 1: seen that level of public emotion from you. Well that's
- 23:58Speaker 1: probably true. And you know part of it, Willie, is
- 24:01Speaker 1: when you're a woman in public life, you're kind of
- 24:06Speaker 1: damned if you do and damned if you don't. I mean,
- 24:08Speaker 1: if you show emotion that may connect with some people,
- 24:12Speaker 1: but for a lot of people, it's like Suck told you.
- 24:15Speaker 1: You know, a woman shouldn't have these jobs. You know
- 24:18Speaker 1: they're too emotional. It's really hard because you want to
- 24:23Speaker 1: convey the emotion you feel because it does connect you
- 24:27Speaker 1: with many people, but it can be so mercilessly received
- 24:33Speaker 1: by the press and the public. Last night, I congratulated
- 24:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf
- 24:40Speaker 1: of our country. By the way, this is a lie,
- 24:44Speaker 1: and I have to call it out. Last night I
- 24:46Speaker 1: called and said I want to work with him. You
- 24:49Speaker 1: used a Russian collusion story that you've fabricated, paid for,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and orchestrated, and now people have been charged with crimes
- 24:58Speaker 1: to frame the city in president nineteenths America, and then
- 25:01Speaker 1: the entire time he was being impeached, you could have
- 25:04Speaker 1: stopped it. You want to talk about a threat to democracy,
- 25:07Speaker 1: it was you, Hillary Clinton. You are the threat to democracy.
- 25:13Speaker 1: You wanted the American people to overthrow Donald Trump because
- 25:16Speaker 1: you said, if I can't have it, he can't have
- 25:18Speaker 1: it either. You don't respect the American people, You don't
- 25:24Speaker 1: respect democracy. You could have gone down to Congress and
- 25:31Speaker 1: you could have said, or you could have gone to
- 25:33Speaker 1: an anti Pelosi or Adam Schiff, and you just said, guys,
- 25:37Speaker 1: we wrote this damn thing. We paid for this, we
- 25:41Speaker 1: orchestrated it, we made it all up. It's total crap.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Don't overthrow the will of the people because of something
- 25:46Speaker 1: that we did in dirty politics and tricks. Right, Just
- 25:50Speaker 1: don't do it. Okay, don't don't do it. That's what
- 25:55Speaker 1: we're gonna ask you. Please, don't do it. And you
- 26:00Speaker 1: could have stopped all this harassment of the president nine
- 26:03Speaker 1: States of America, but you didn't. And now you want
- 26:06Speaker 1: me to feel sorry for you because you lost hope
- 26:09Speaker 1: that he will be a successful president for all Americans.
- 26:14Speaker 1: That's a lie. You don't hope that he was going
- 26:16Speaker 1: to be a successful president for all Americans, because if
- 26:18Speaker 1: you did, you would have come clean and told the
- 26:20Speaker 1: truth that you framed the president with Russian collusion. If
- 26:25Speaker 1: you wanted to be successful, you would have stopped the
- 26:27Speaker 1: investigation into the president nine States of America. This is
- 26:30Speaker 1: a psychotic, pathological liar. And again, not a single follow
- 26:34Speaker 1: up question from NBC News from Sunday Today with Willie
- 26:37Speaker 1: Geist about any of the corruption around her and what
- 26:39Speaker 1: she did. How do you not ask her about the
- 26:42Speaker 1: Durham investigation? How do you not ask her about the
- 26:44Speaker 1: top lawyer being indicted for the Clinton campaign, her right
- 26:48Speaker 1: hand man? How do you not ask that question when
- 26:50Speaker 1: you're sitting down talking to her about all of this?
- 26:53Speaker 1: How do you not ask those questions? Because you are
- 26:58Speaker 1: nothing more than props of the tyrants that you want
- 27:05Speaker 1: to run the country, and that includes Hillary Clinton. That's
- 27:09Speaker 1: why you don't ask those questions, because you don't support
- 27:12Speaker 1: democracy at NBC News, you support propaganda for the people
- 27:15Speaker 1: that are the chosen ones. So how painful was it
- 27:20Speaker 1: for you? And has it been to watch the country
- 27:23Speaker 1: since that day? I hoped for the best from Donald Trump,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and then I went to the inauguration and I heard
- 27:29Speaker 1: that outrageous speech about carnage in the street. There wasn't
- 27:34Speaker 1: one grace note in that inaugural address. Right now, There
- 27:39Speaker 1: wasn't anything that said, Okay, I know some of you
- 27:42Speaker 1: didn't vote for me, but I'm your president. But it
- 27:44Speaker 1: was what he did and how he abused the office
- 27:49Speaker 1: and how he mistreated people. I'm starting, you know, with
- 27:54Speaker 1: the Muslim band, through the outrageous behavior in trying to
- 27:58Speaker 1: overturn the election and encourage ridging an attack on our capitol,
- 28:02Speaker 1: and sadly, the Republican Party has gone along with him. Honestly,
- 28:07Speaker 1: they have hung their spines up on the wall as
- 28:10Speaker 1: they walk into their offices. They have no conscience, they
- 28:13Speaker 1: have no spine, and we are seeing the results of
- 28:17Speaker 1: a party that has been You notice who've gone like
- 28:20Speaker 1: five minutes without her mentioning anything about her master class?
- 28:23Speaker 1: Have you noticed that? And this is only part one
- 28:25Speaker 1: of the interview. We haven't even gotten an next week's interview,
- 28:29Speaker 1: Part two of I'm running for President to point out
- 28:31Speaker 1: maybe if you guys don't hate me taken over by
- 28:34Speaker 1: a demagogue, it's a time to decide whether we're going
- 28:37Speaker 1: to be a grown up country or not. Are we
- 28:39Speaker 1: going to give in to all these lies and this disinformation,
- 28:43Speaker 1: lies and disinformation? Are we going to give into it?
- 28:46Speaker 1: She just said that she's the one that made up
- 28:49Speaker 1: the lies in the disinformation with the Russian collision. Her
- 28:52Speaker 1: top campaign lawyer has been indicted. Hillary Clinton, by the way,
- 28:57Speaker 1: is not out of the hot seat yet, because all signals,
- 29:02Speaker 1: all fingers point to Hillary Clinton and her campaign and
- 29:05Speaker 1: they use this information they knew they created out of
- 29:07Speaker 1: thin air to try to overthrow the will of the people.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And now she wants talked about lies in disinformation and
- 29:12Speaker 1: NBC News just since there and laps it up like
- 29:15Speaker 1: a puppy. And this organized effort to undermine our rule
- 29:19Speaker 1: of law and our institutions, or we're gonna see the
- 29:21Speaker 1: only organized effort to undermine our laws and institution was
- 29:24Speaker 1: by you and your campaign. You knew that everything they
- 29:30Speaker 1: were using to try to impeach it on the Trump
- 29:31Speaker 1: was a lie. You could have stopped it in one second.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You could have said, we made it all out. None
- 29:38Speaker 1: of it's true. There was no collusion, there was no
- 29:40Speaker 1: Russian connection, there was no connection to Russian banks. I
- 29:43Speaker 1: paid for this and I created it out of thin air.
- 29:46Speaker 1: You could have stopped it, and you chose not to
- 29:49Speaker 1: for a reason because you're a scumbag politician that is
- 29:53Speaker 1: a threat to the United States of America. And I
- 29:55Speaker 1: go back to what I said earlier. None of this,
- 29:57Speaker 1: if you notice, none of the this has to do
- 30:02Speaker 1: with a master class. None of it, folks. This is
- 30:08Speaker 1: a soft launch for her running for president of the
- 30:11Speaker 1: United States of America. And you don't do this, and
- 30:15Speaker 1: you don't give this type of publicity for a master
- 30:18Speaker 1: class where people make money and lets you own it.
- 30:21Speaker 1: And NBC News does not own it. The only reason
- 30:25Speaker 1: why you're doing this is you're trying to soft launch her.
- 30:28Speaker 1: That is what you're trying to do. I will keep
- 30:33Speaker 1: you up to date on part two. But when NBC
- 30:36Speaker 1: News doesn't ask one tough question, you know they're all
- 30:39Speaker 1: in for her. Get ready because Hillary Clinton is trying
- 30:43Speaker 1: to figure out how to run for present in twenty
- 30:45Speaker 1: twenty four. All right, I hope all of you will
