- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only. Uh, Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah you do. Steve Harvey got a radio show. But
- 2:13Speaker 1: like I said the other day, you got something too, though,
- 2:15Speaker 1: don't you. God didn't done something wonderful for you. You
- 2:18Speaker 1: just gotta thank Him for it, you know, in the
- 2:21Speaker 1: midst of all that's going on in my life and
- 2:24Speaker 1: in your life. You know, I always use myself as
- 2:27Speaker 1: an example because well I mean that way. I guarantee
- 2:31Speaker 1: one hundred percent I know what I'm talking about. Um,
- 2:35Speaker 1: here's the situation, you know, with everything that's going on
- 2:38Speaker 1: in my life and all the things I'm asking God
- 2:41Speaker 1: for in the midst of a taxing and a very
- 2:47Speaker 1: trying situation. That's very challenging for me right now. Man,
- 2:52Speaker 1: God just keeps on, keeps on surprising me. He keeps
- 2:57Speaker 1: doing things. And I want you to look at your life.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Or for a second, let's make two columns here. Let's
- 3:05Speaker 1: make a column of all the things you want from God.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You know, just do that throughout the course of the day.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You know, you know, run down the list of all
- 3:14Speaker 1: the things you're asking God for, all the things you're
- 3:16Speaker 1: praying for, the things you aspire to, what your dreams,
- 3:20Speaker 1: your visions, whatever it is. Just make a column, a
- 3:23Speaker 1: list of all those things. Let's make three lists. And
- 3:27Speaker 1: then the second list, I want you to make a
- 3:30Speaker 1: list of everything that you've been asking God for. So
- 3:36Speaker 1: I guess that could be a little bit of the same.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But this third list, I want you to do a
- 3:41Speaker 1: check off point. I want you to do a make
- 3:43Speaker 1: a list of everything that God has given you that
- 3:47Speaker 1: you've asked him for. Just think about it like that
- 3:50Speaker 1: for a second. I may be explaining a little wrong
- 3:53Speaker 1: right now, but I'm gonna pull it together for you.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Make a list of everything you're asking God for. Just
- 4:00Speaker 1: it's listed. You know, It's okay, It's a dream board.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You can call it that I got one. It's a
- 4:04Speaker 1: vision board. You know. Every everybody's got something you hope for.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Make a list now. I want you to make another
- 4:11Speaker 1: list of everything you've asked God for that he's given
- 4:15Speaker 1: you already. See this is a good list because sometimes
- 4:21Speaker 1: and what I've been guilty of, and maybe you two
- 4:24Speaker 1: in my request list on my dream board. I keep
- 4:28Speaker 1: focusing so hard sometimes on the what I'm yet to receive.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I keep focusing so hard on the what I hope
- 4:38Speaker 1: he gives me. I keep focusing so hard on the
- 4:41Speaker 1: things that I yet not fulfilled in my life that sometimes,
- 4:47Speaker 1: as he starts checking off my wish list the things
- 4:51Speaker 1: I've asked for in the past that have come to
- 4:54Speaker 1: pass that he's given me, I sometimes, in praying for
- 4:58Speaker 1: what I want, get to thank him for what he's
- 5:02Speaker 1: done for me. And I'm currently in the middle of
- 5:05Speaker 1: that situation. And this morning when I woke up, I really, man,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I just got on my knees this morning and I
- 5:10Speaker 1: quit tripping for a second. I said, Man, hey, God,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you know what I really do need all them things
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm asking for, and I'm really am believing that You're
- 5:19Speaker 1: gonna give it to me. But in the meantime, though, Man,
- 5:23Speaker 1: have I overlooked some important details here? I had to
- 5:27Speaker 1: really look at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
- 5:31Speaker 1: take yourself out of it personally and look, well, you
- 5:34Speaker 1: can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Some people can't do that, So just leave yourself in it. Then.
- 5:38Speaker 1: But man, I started looking at the eye part of me,
- 5:42Speaker 1: and I started looking around at the what's happening overall. Like, man,
- 5:46Speaker 1: he has kept my family together in spite of the
- 5:50Speaker 1: attempts to tear it apart. I look at all of that.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I look at how he's blessing my children with the
- 5:55Speaker 1: desires of their heart, which I pray for my kids.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You know, I want my kids to have a better
- 6:00Speaker 1: life than I've had. I really really do. I don't
- 6:02Speaker 1: want them to take as long as it took me
- 6:05Speaker 1: to get it together. I really really don't. I'm trying
- 6:08Speaker 1: to say, hey, man, if you go to college, this
- 6:10Speaker 1: is what you can be. Don't do like your father did.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Don't go three years, drop out, throw yourself into a
- 6:15Speaker 1: spiral and then got to start to scratch all over again.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You know, And for the most part. So far, you know,
- 6:22Speaker 1: they're doing quite well of it. You know, you know
- 6:24Speaker 1: they they're getting kicked around a little bit, but that's life.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I started thinking of the blessings that he's helped me
- 6:30Speaker 1: overcome with some of the previous mistakes I've made in
- 6:34Speaker 1: relationships in my life. And then I started looking about
- 6:39Speaker 1: the things he's blessed me with that I've been asking
- 6:41Speaker 1: him for. But since I've moved on from it, I
- 6:44Speaker 1: forgot to keep thinking him because I gotta always thank
- 6:47Speaker 1: God for a roof over my head because guess what,
- 6:50Speaker 1: when I was asking for the roof and I didn't
- 6:52Speaker 1: really have it, then he gave me one that since
- 6:54Speaker 1: he gave it to me, what, I'm just cool now,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I can't ever go back to him and go, hey, man,
- 6:59Speaker 1: I really do appreciate this roof over my head because
- 7:02Speaker 1: that was a time when I was living in a car.
- 7:04Speaker 1: But see, so every morning I wake up, I gotta
- 7:06Speaker 1: remember the fact that I have a home now, because
- 7:09Speaker 1: I got to look back and go, man, that was time, Steve,
- 7:12Speaker 1: when you didn't have no home. But see, we forget
- 7:15Speaker 1: what God has done for us. Because in our column,
- 7:19Speaker 1: the won't column, the need column, we oftentimes forget for
- 7:24Speaker 1: the columns and the check marks, as He's already fulfilled
- 7:28Speaker 1: in our life. You've got to take inventory every now
- 7:32Speaker 1: and then daily if possible. But I know we're humans.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that. I don't. But you've got
- 7:38Speaker 1: to take inventory of your life to say, hey, what
- 7:43Speaker 1: has God done for me? You know? And remember something
- 7:46Speaker 1: else too. Change is good, but change is challenging. Accept
- 7:52Speaker 1: the challenge that it is. Look a lot of you
- 7:56Speaker 1: come up to me all the time and say, Steve Man,
- 7:59Speaker 1: thank you, man boy, you in the morning. Man, I
- 8:01Speaker 1: really be needing that, Like I under said it one
- 8:04Speaker 1: hundred times, but I'm gonna say it again, y'all. I'd
- 8:06Speaker 1: be needing it too. You know. You understand, sometimes what
- 8:11Speaker 1: God is dealing with me is for me. But now
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm in a sharing position where I can open up
- 8:18Speaker 1: and if I just if I just quit being so
- 8:21Speaker 1: about me and become a little bit more transparent, I
- 8:24Speaker 1: can maybe some of me that's happening to me is
- 8:27Speaker 1: happening to you, and you can see some of this
- 8:29Speaker 1: in me. That's why I use myself as an example,
- 8:32Speaker 1: because man, I'm catching it too, y'all. I ain't perfect either.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So for those of you that come up to me
- 8:38Speaker 1: and say that, I want you to understand these these
- 8:41Speaker 1: talks in the morning. Man, this is important for me
- 8:45Speaker 1: because man, I need these conversations from God. I need
- 8:49Speaker 1: God to continue to strengthen me, to show me the way,
- 8:53Speaker 1: to help me understand what's happening to me. And see,
- 8:57Speaker 1: as we've all those of you who have made the
- 8:59Speaker 1: decision to change, to become a better person, a better woman,
- 9:03Speaker 1: a better boy, a better girl, a better man. For
- 9:05Speaker 1: those of you have made the decision to change, change
- 9:07Speaker 1: is a challenge, and accept the challenge because it's gonna come.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Because right out of that here come to haters. It
- 9:13Speaker 1: ain't come people you don't even know, discussing your life
- 9:17Speaker 1: and your change. If God see you, really really mean
- 9:20Speaker 1: what you say in spite of what they say about you,
- 9:24Speaker 1: God will raise you above the phrase. He'll keep promoting you,
- 9:28Speaker 1: he'll keep blessing you, He'll keep moving you up. He
- 9:32Speaker 1: will use you as a show off point. He'll show
- 9:36Speaker 1: you off man. He'll make you. He'll make you look
- 9:39Speaker 1: good to people man who wish you'd fall all day long.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And so to all your haters, all your haters, will
- 9:45Speaker 1: end up just watching you rise. Man, They will watch
- 9:47Speaker 1: you continue to grow. That's what God will do for you. Man.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
- 9:54Speaker 1: God know your heart, he know your every thought. Man.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your
- 10:04Speaker 1: undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And let me say something. We are in full compliment. Boy,

- 13:43Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Morning show? So ja, yes, baby,
- 13:50Speaker 1: what's uh? You are back to the old Jay. I'm
- 13:54Speaker 1: back to the old Jay. Cancer baby. Don't tell me
- 13:58Speaker 1: o jail but don't Oh yeah, she said, oh Jay,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I didn't say, well you y'all got a lot in
- 14:06Speaker 1: common though, like white women. But I don't kill man.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Thank you, Jake. And the last difference, yeah, what have
- 14:24Speaker 1: you been doing? What I'm really trying to now? I
- 14:27Speaker 1: accept what he said. I have no problem with what
- 14:31Speaker 1: he said. You know, he made his own decision about
- 14:34Speaker 1: what he said. I'm just trying to digest what Tank said.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I don't don't digest it. I'm not okay how I
- 14:46Speaker 1: can accept it because he's saying this is what I
- 14:49Speaker 1: you know, Okay, but help me. Somebody helped me. Help me? Okay,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you can help me, help me. Nobody else this show
- 14:59Speaker 1: can help one person nobody. Okay, it's back to the
- 15:03Speaker 1: ignorance as usual. I see what did he say? What
- 15:09Speaker 1: he said is if a man is with another man,
- 15:13Speaker 1: that don't make a man gay. He also said if
- 15:17Speaker 1: a man goes back to another man again and he
- 15:19Speaker 1: decides he don't like it, he's still I can accept
- 15:25Speaker 1: what he said. It's his opinion. Yeah, you have to
- 15:30Speaker 1: get two trial runs. I don't know what that means.
- 15:36Speaker 1: There's no limit or anything. It's just his opinion. He
- 15:41Speaker 1: asked about all these comments? Is JA Athony Brown? I
- 15:45Speaker 1: wanted to be clear the crisin don't commented publicly on
- 15:50Speaker 1: this in any way. So what else you've been doing? Jack? Yeah?
- 15:55Speaker 1: DITI take statement? Ain't fire? Everybody listening to the Shogle
- 16:09Speaker 1: answer the man? Keep ahead. You know you've been watching
- 16:17Speaker 1: the news. What else have you been doing? Jay? Okay,
- 16:24Speaker 1: hit hit Yes it is comment on. Wait a minute, JA,
- 16:35Speaker 1: so does does now here? You go? You go? So
- 16:42Speaker 1: it's it's tank okay we malik yobs. I don't know Tommy.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I don't know clear that Tommy on the show is
- 16:58Speaker 1: making these Tommy he said what he said? What is it?
- 17:05Speaker 1: How do we know how he feels? Let me ask
- 17:11Speaker 1: you a question, JA on social media. You're filming a
- 17:16Speaker 1: movie with ray J. I just finished a movie with
- 17:19Speaker 1: ray J. The movie is called The App That Stole Christmas.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Ray J's in it. Scrunch your plays in elf. Of course,
- 17:26Speaker 1: what else would he play? But anyway, I played Sanet
- 17:30Speaker 1: tom Finish with Ready to Love. Jo could have got
- 17:39Speaker 1: that one because he that's him. The only person could
- 17:48Speaker 1: have beat him out of the dude on Game of Thrones, Terry,
- 17:54Speaker 1: Come on, Jay and finish. It didn't have any little
- 17:57Speaker 1: people as elf. You know they didn't in this movie.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It isn't. But I played Santa Claus, so you played
- 18:04Speaker 1: Santa Claus. But here's the thing and but here's the
- 18:07Speaker 1: thing on the set. The sept discussing was the septet
- 18:12Speaker 1: of discussion was what was Tank thinking about it? That's
- 18:15Speaker 1: what you bring it back around? Were like, well, what
- 18:25Speaker 1: the hell did he need? Jay? I have an idea.
- 18:30Speaker 1: This is what I'm gonna do today, Tommy and Junior.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I want everybody chill today. I am going to feature
- 18:40Speaker 1: one of my favorite comedians of all time. Today. I'm
- 18:44Speaker 1: gonna let Jay Anthony Brown be as ignorant jan Jane.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Since you cancel free in celebration of being cancel free
- 18:55Speaker 1: and you you off Chemo, what I'm gonna do is
- 18:58Speaker 1: and Jay, I asked you as your friend. We've been
- 19:02Speaker 1: friends since nineteen eighty six. I want you to be
- 19:08Speaker 1: as ignorant as you possibly can today. So when all
- 19:12Speaker 1: the ladies answer all the questions, your thoughts is gonna
- 19:16Speaker 1: lead us in then Jay, I mean, then Tommy and Junior.
- 19:21Speaker 1: If you allow me to comment on him, then y'all
- 19:24Speaker 1: join it. But our job is to let I want
- 19:27Speaker 1: you to let Jay lead in. At Jay, I don't
- 19:29Speaker 1: want you to pull no punches. Be this boy actually
- 19:35Speaker 1: taught me how to do comedy. Jay, you ain't got
- 19:39Speaker 1: all these sponsors, got all these TV shows folding you back? Man?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Do you dog my first ignorant statement? Come on? Might
- 19:51Speaker 1: have to bleep this, come on, might have to bleep more.
- 19:54Speaker 1: The question is is this sugar entertained? That's the question,
- 20:01Speaker 1: Like so ignorant? Are you sure you want to? Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna do what the other show never did. I'm
- 20:15Speaker 1: gonna cut his ass loose, let him go, do you doggy?
- 20:18Speaker 1: We celebrating being cancer free beautiful was made all right?
- 20:26Speaker 1: Well you heard it from the man himself. It's his show.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So he wants Jay to be ignorance like he needed permission. Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Coming up next it is the nephew would run that
- 20:37Speaker 1: prank back right, after this You're listening show coming up
- 20:43Speaker 1: at the top of the hour and entertainment news lamar
- 20:46Speaker 1: odom dated Taraji p Henson. Did you know that? I
- 20:50Speaker 1: don't think so. Plus R Kelly sure she don't want
- 20:55Speaker 1: that out too late? I'm sorry, yeah, yeah, you got one.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Sorry well. Also R Kelly lost another lawyer and we're
- 21:08Speaker 1: gonna talk about all of that at the top of
- 21:10Speaker 1: the hour. But right now he's back, right now, why
- 21:14Speaker 1: would another lawyer walk out? First of all, Steve, I
- 21:18Speaker 1: don't blame lawyers from because his ass ain't never getting out.
- 21:25Speaker 1: They will be playing music on the news. They won't
- 21:28Speaker 1: be CDs will be gone. It'll be something else. We'll
- 21:30Speaker 1: be playing music on by the time R. Kelly get
- 21:33Speaker 1: his ass. It won't be D D D's it won't.
- 21:36Speaker 1: It won't be down low Now. I don't know. Maybe
- 21:39Speaker 1: maybe they'll put music in you, but I don't know
- 21:41Speaker 1: how that will be doing out smuggling music. Thank you man.
- 21:53Speaker 1: All right, the ring there, it is the ring running
- 21:56Speaker 1: that prank back. Let's go cat. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 22:00Speaker 1: to reach a Denise please, Yes, this is she, Hi Denise.

- 22:08Speaker 1: how you doing, I'm good. You brought your ring in
- 22:10Speaker 1: what was it last week? I actually wasn't here, but
- 22:13Speaker 1: you gave it to one of my salespersons, and yes
- 22:16Speaker 1: you wanted to get it resized as well as as
- 22:19Speaker 1: get it a praise. Correct, yes, yes, yes, and you
- 22:21Speaker 1: don't have to tell him up to be a bit
- 22:24Speaker 1: on my own. Okay, wow, okay, listen, I actually do
- 22:28Speaker 1: to resize the ring. And first of all, let me

- 22:37Speaker 1: congratulations to thank you. Listen. I don't know how to
- 22:41Speaker 1: tell you this now. As far as the appraiser less concern,
- 22:43Speaker 1: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 22:48Speaker 1: ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars. Excuse me, I've
- 22:54Speaker 1: I've been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But you know when I'm confused on what you just seeing,
- 22:59Speaker 1: and I understand that. What I'm trying to explain to
- 23:00Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for for
- 23:02Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 23:05Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 23:09Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
- 23:12Speaker 1: a Cubic Sclonian stones and the gold is not real
- 23:17Speaker 1: at all. It's like, wait you wait, you lost me.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You lost me as much money as my pen make
- 23:22Speaker 1: and as much money as my father is putting down
- 23:25Speaker 1: on his wedding or has put down. And you're gonna
- 23:28Speaker 1: understand everything you're saying. But Denise, honestly, what I need
- 23:31Speaker 1: you to do is hold on. Wait wait, no, I
- 23:34Speaker 1: need you to hold on because we need to convict us.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Wait wait man, First of all, I can't wait wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 23:42Speaker 1: hold down, hold on because I'm trying to do you
- 23:48Speaker 1: wait wait wait what are you trying to What you're
- 23:49Speaker 1: trying to do, sir? I need I need you to
- 23:52Speaker 1: repeat what you just said to me. Okay, I need
- 23:56Speaker 1: little of personal stuff. Man. You oh you hit it.
- 23:59Speaker 1: It's personal now. So I need you to hold on. Okay, Oh,
- 24:04Speaker 1: she called her man. Okay, thank thank hello, Victim. I
- 24:10Speaker 1: need to listen to this jeweler that's on the phone.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I want you to hit it. And he just told me,
- 24:14Speaker 1: what's what's the problem? What you mean, what's the problem
- 24:16Speaker 1: he's gonna tell you what the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir,
- 24:18Speaker 1: gonna hit on. Who Hello, Yeah, who's this? My name
- 24:22Speaker 1: is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds. And actually your wife, I
- 24:26Speaker 1: mean where your fiance rather, she brought her ring in
- 24:28Speaker 1: to actually be resized. Yeah, and we we also did
- 24:32Speaker 1: an appraisal on the ring for her. And actually the
- 24:36Speaker 1: ring is estimated to be only, in the words of
- 24:38Speaker 1: around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars fifty that's what the man said,
- 24:44Speaker 1: do sir. Obviously there's some sort of mistakes, sir. Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 1: what you got to say about that fifty dollars? That's
- 24:52Speaker 1: that's got to be some kind of mistakes. And what'd
- 24:54Speaker 1: you say your name was, sir? My name is Gavin.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I work here at Diamonds. I'm the head jeweler here.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I've been here for twenty years. And there's there's no
- 25:02Speaker 1: way that that ring is worth fifty dollars. I know
- 25:04Speaker 1: what I paid for it, So obviously there's some sort
- 25:06Speaker 1: of mistakes. There's not a mistake. I've been dealing with jury,
- 25:10Speaker 1: I've seen it. I couldn't pretty much look at a ring,
- 25:13Speaker 1: but I actually went into detail on this one. As
- 25:15Speaker 1: I do all of them, and so I promise you
- 25:18Speaker 1: this is probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars for
- 25:21Speaker 1: his workers. Know, absolutely not. That's that's impossible. How is
- 25:25Speaker 1: that impossible? He's a jeweler. You heard him say, he's
- 25:27Speaker 1: been doing it for twenty he's the highest. That impossible.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I don't understand. That's all the money that my dad
- 25:33Speaker 1: is putting down on this wedding, and you don't pay
- 25:35Speaker 1: fifty dollars. You bought a cheap ring. So no, no, no,
- 25:39Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
- 25:41Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it.
- 25:44Speaker 1: You got that right, you show got that right. So
- 25:47Speaker 1: what you got to say for yourself fifty dollars? Then
- 25:50Speaker 1: you can't I believe that that's right, that this is
- 25:52Speaker 1: obviously some kind of mistair. Oh, it is a mistake.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I'm mistaken me thinking I'm gonna get married to the
- 25:57Speaker 1: man of my dream. I do have the engage a
- 26:00Speaker 1: ring that was purchased and bought for your wife. No,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I don't think you. I don't think you do. I
- 26:04Speaker 1: don't think you have my ring because if you have
- 26:06Speaker 1: my ring, you wouldn't be telling me this is worth
- 26:07Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I have the ring that your wife, your
- 26:11Speaker 1: fiance brought in his wife. Yet, hold on, hold on.
- 26:14Speaker 1: The man is trying to explain. I'm trying to get
- 26:16Speaker 1: to the body. Thank you. So you have I don't
- 26:19Speaker 1: think he has the right ring. I have the right ring.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And what I'm letting you know, sir, is that this
- 26:24Speaker 1: is something you buy on an infomercial in two ocock. Dude,
- 26:28Speaker 1: you don't like that. I ain't bout a damn ring
- 26:32Speaker 1: on infomercial. I bought the ring from a reputable establishment.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I have the receipt, I have the certificate. So obviously
- 26:39Speaker 1: the mistake is on your and where you're mistake is
- 26:41Speaker 1: now here. So you bought a piece of jump. He's
- 26:44Speaker 1: been doing it all these years. How hill he's gonna
- 26:46Speaker 1: make a mistake. You come off telling me I bought
- 26:49Speaker 1: a piece of jump. I know what I bought. If
- 26:51Speaker 1: there's any mistake that's been made, it's on your end, world,
- 26:54Speaker 1: it's not on my end. Yeah, don't you want things that?
- 27:01Speaker 1: My dad is paying too much money for this wedding,
- 27:03Speaker 1: So you're don's gonna pay fifty dollars dollars. I tell
- 27:06Speaker 1: him this chill. Hold on. First of all, I don't
- 27:09Speaker 1: appreciate I want to tell you this. This is a
- 27:11Speaker 1: typical case of you trying to pawn it off for
- 27:14Speaker 1: us because you bought the price of stuff for fifty bucks.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm the money. Did you do it? I get fifty
- 27:19Speaker 1: dollars worth of a ring? Then he's hold on, let
- 27:21Speaker 1: me talk to this. Where you going and get dollars?
- 27:25Speaker 1: I never heard of it. So your wife knows exactly where.
- 27:29Speaker 1: She's the one that brought the ring. And I'll tell
- 27:30Speaker 1: you what. I'm gonna come down there to see the
- 27:33Speaker 1: ring that you're talking about. If it's not the ring
- 27:35Speaker 1: that I gave my girl, I'm gonna take seventy six
- 27:37Speaker 1: hundred dollars out of your because that's so. Now you
- 27:42Speaker 1: want to jump on me because you bought your wife
- 27:44Speaker 1: a piece, Come on, you want to put it on me?
- 27:47Speaker 1: You you don't tell me what the I don't know
- 27:49Speaker 1: what the I spin on the ring and you I
- 27:51Speaker 1: don't kind of trying to pull. First of all, I
- 27:53Speaker 1: don't appreciate you coming in my household trying to mess
- 27:55Speaker 1: my and you want to come at me with this one.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I know the ring gotta be real no. If I
- 28:00Speaker 1: were you, miss de niece, I would not marry somebody
- 28:03Speaker 1: that's gonna be I'm coming. I'm looking for your puppet.
- 28:06Speaker 1: And you know what, you don't get the ring a right, man,
- 28:09Speaker 1: you don't go in it. Can I say one more
- 28:10Speaker 1: thing to both of you all? But I'll tell you
- 28:12Speaker 1: what if they did, I want to hear me, and
- 28:14Speaker 1: you're gonna have some more problems. This is nephew telling
- 28:16Speaker 1: me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all just got
- 28:20Speaker 1: pranked by the niece's sister that that's why she ain't
- 28:28Speaker 1: got no man to be. Wow. That's how I man. Wow,
- 28:34Speaker 1: that's how clear time? Are you about to start me? Wow?
- 28:38Speaker 1: I think I'm sorry, baby, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I
- 28:41Speaker 1: would make its ring. I gotta ask y'all something. What
- 28:47Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the Wow? But Steve
- 28:51Speaker 1: Harvey The Morning Think Nephew coming up in the top
- 29:02Speaker 1: of the hour Entertainment and national news right after this.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You're listening to show? All right? So did you guys
- 29:12Speaker 1: know that lamar Odom dated Taraji p Henson at one time.
- 29:17Speaker 1: He's actually opening up about their relationship and how it
- 29:21Speaker 1: ended on TV Ones uncensored. Apparently, Lamar and Taraji were
- 29:26Speaker 1: hot and heavy sometime between two thousand and nine. Somewhere
- 29:30Speaker 1: before two thousand and nine, I should say, Lamar said
- 29:33Speaker 1: dating Taraji was the most adult relationship he's ever had.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Take a listen else. That was the most significant relationship
- 29:47Speaker 1: as a grown up that I had with a black woman.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I used to carry a pitch on a roll with me.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I don't nobody know that seven due that play with me.
- 29:58Speaker 1: But she gave inspiration, you know what I'm saying. A
- 30:01Speaker 1: black woman broken like that, that's just as good as
- 30:05Speaker 1: her craft, and I'm at my craft. Wow, who the
- 30:16Speaker 1: hell is deep out? Piano music went nicely with that, Jake.
- 30:27Speaker 1: It was a great pairing by you, Dady. We don't
- 30:30Speaker 1: know about kid. The piano music and all that was
- 30:35Speaker 1: a nice touch. But Taraji somewhere is right now hearing this.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Such a nice compliment, beautiful compliment he paid her. She's
- 30:47Speaker 1: engaged in everything, right, Sorry, dog, you say the time
- 30:51Speaker 1: for that? Well? Unfortunately the rest did badly because Lamar
- 30:59Speaker 1: was an immature or a punk. According to him, I
- 31:02Speaker 1: didn't know how to tell her that I was falling
- 31:04Speaker 1: in love with another woman named Chloe Kardashiane, how the
- 31:09Speaker 1: story see so right here, right here, see now everybody
- 31:16Speaker 1: was trying to feel something for you. Then here you come. You.
- 31:20Speaker 1: This ain't the thing to say, not on our girl
- 31:23Speaker 1: to Raji, Well it's uncensored. It's a show. So he's
- 31:27Speaker 1: talking about his life and that should have been quiet.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Tommy had not been answered. Come on playing the piano, Jail,
- 31:42Speaker 1: You want me to tell you who playing? Yes, yes, Tommy,
- 31:45Speaker 1: who's playing the piano? Man Tank is playing the piano? Tommy,
- 31:57Speaker 1: good boy, good right there. Man ain't gonna another way.
- 32:07Speaker 1: When he finished, he said, all right, we're moving on.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And other entertainees and other entertainment news. R Kelly lost
- 32:19Speaker 1: another lawyer this week because he can't or won't pay
- 32:23Speaker 1: the bill. He's currently locked up waiting trial waiting trial
- 32:28Speaker 1: for child sex abuse and trafficking and multiple jurisdictions, but
- 32:31Speaker 1: he also has an unpaid twelve thousand dollars bill from
- 32:34Speaker 1: his divorce attorney. Lisa Demiko no longer represents for R.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Kelly and wants a judge to force him to pay up.
- 32:41Speaker 1: There you go, when when your lawyer then turned on
- 32:46Speaker 1: you to create another case, do you squeezed your life
- 32:50Speaker 1: is when your lawyer, super boy, it's all take the
- 32:57Speaker 1: d take the day, whatever the all right, we gotta
- 33:11Speaker 1: cut of this tea. Thank you very much, and good
- 33:20Speaker 1: morning everybody. This is ANDERP with the news. Well let's
- 33:23Speaker 1: start out with this one. Very important funeral services are
- 33:25Speaker 1: taking place in a Baltimore, Maryland church this morning for
- 33:28Speaker 1: Representative Elijah Cummings, who passed away last week after undergoing
- 33:32Speaker 1: a medical procedure. He was sixty eight years old. Cummings
- 33:34Speaker 1: body was brought to the nation's capital yesterday, where he
- 33:37Speaker 1: lay in state all day, becoming the first African American
- 33:41Speaker 1: lawmaker to be so honored. However, two other black Americans
- 33:44Speaker 1: were honored, civil rights icon Rosel Parks, DC police officer
- 33:48Speaker 1: James Chesnut, who was killed in a Capitol Who'll shoot out.
- 33:50Speaker 1: They were honored with their bodies laying in state what
- 33:53Speaker 1: they call it laying in honor, the term used for
- 33:55Speaker 1: non elected officials anyway. And yesterday's moroyal service at the
- 33:58Speaker 1: Capitol many of Congressman Cummings fellow legislators like Senate Minority
- 34:02Speaker 1: Leader Charles Schumer, pay tribute. He was strong, very strong
- 34:06Speaker 1: when necessary, but also kind and caring and honorable, universally
- 34:13Speaker 1: respected and admired in a divided time. His voice could
- 34:17Speaker 1: shake mountains, stir the most cynical hearts, inspiring us all
- 34:23Speaker 1: to be better. His authority came not from the office
- 34:26Speaker 1: he held. It came from the moral force of his life.
- 34:31Speaker 1: A sharecropper's son born and raised in Baltimore, Elijah Cummings
- 34:36Speaker 1: never forgot where he came from and never lost sight
- 34:39Speaker 1: of where he wanted his country to go. During today's
- 34:44Speaker 1: homegoing service, both the former presidents Barack Obama and Bill
- 34:47Speaker 1: Clinton are schedule to speak, among others and Lewis Flowers.
- 34:50Speaker 1: The Cummings family asked that people make donations through the
- 34:53Speaker 1: Elijah Cummings Youth Program or to Howard or Morgan State
- 34:57Speaker 1: Universities in Texas. Yesterday, hundreds of mourners gathered for the
- 35:00Speaker 1: funeral of twenty eight year old eight Titiana Jefferson. That's
- 35:03Speaker 1: the black pre med student shot and killed by a
- 35:05Speaker 1: white cop and she played with her eight year old
- 35:07Speaker 1: nephew in her own home. Meanwhile, in Dallas, the white
- 35:10Speaker 1: now former cop who shot and killed an innocent black
- 35:13Speaker 1: man named Botham Jane in his own apartment is trying
- 35:16Speaker 1: to appeal her murder conviction. Lawyers for Amber Geiger, who
- 35:19Speaker 1: may can the community feel, already received a super light
- 35:22Speaker 1: sentence of only ten years for botham Jean's killing. Her
- 35:25Speaker 1: lawyers have filed the notice of appeal this week. Dallas
- 35:28Speaker 1: police have identified two people and connect with the murder
- 35:30Speaker 1: of former NBA player andre Emmett inside his home last month.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Authorities say twenty nine year old Michael Lucky thirty to
- 35:36Speaker 1: year old Keith Johnson responsible for fatally shooting the professional athlete.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Lucky turned himself and Johnson was already in jail on
- 35:43Speaker 1: another charge or something. Andre Emmett played for both the
- 35:46Speaker 1: Brooklyn Nets and the Memphis Grizzlies. Trump administration out with
- 35:49Speaker 1: a plan to collect DNA from migrants crossing the border.
- 35:52Speaker 1: In fact, that Justice Apartment wants to begin taking DNA
- 35:55Speaker 1: samples from hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. And today,
- 35:58Speaker 1: as national Frankenstein Friday, to show you're listening to Steve
- 36:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve J. Anthony Brown, who
- 36:15Speaker 1: you've asked to be ignorant today, is here with phrases
- 36:19Speaker 1: that will break up a friendship. Basically, these are roommate rules.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I mean, you got on your own. You might have
- 36:26Speaker 1: to get a roommate to branch out. But there's some
- 36:28Speaker 1: rules you should live by if you get a roommate.
- 36:32Speaker 1: First rule, if you don't put it in the fridge,
- 36:35Speaker 1: damn it, don't take it out to the fridge. How
- 36:37Speaker 1: about that? Yeah, at work, the same thing, same thing.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You and your significant others should not haug the living room.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Take that nasty stuff to your bedroom. Okay, all right,
- 36:53Speaker 1: people live here, yea, other people live here too, all right,
- 36:58Speaker 1: don't go in your room made room for a damn thing. Okay,
- 37:04Speaker 1: why are you in here? What you're doing in here?
- 37:07Speaker 1: Ain't nothing here for you. If your girlfriend or your
- 37:10Speaker 1: boyfriend like eggs, bacon, cheese, alcohol or whatever cereal, make
- 37:16Speaker 1: sure they bring it with their ass when they come over. Okay.
- 37:23Speaker 1: If if that's what they like, ain't room. Make sure
- 37:27Speaker 1: make sure they got that in the bag when they
- 37:29Speaker 1: come in the door. Okay, that's all I'm saying. If
- 37:32Speaker 1: your boyfriend for the lads, if your boyfriend man man
- 37:35Speaker 1: likes to play video games, you need a big screen
- 37:38Speaker 1: TV for his ass in your room. Okay, But this
- 37:45Speaker 1: is this is a good rule. Right here, we all
- 37:47Speaker 1: should to buy body. Nobody who is a roommate is
- 37:51Speaker 1: allowed to date anybody that's been to prison, nobody. You
- 38:00Speaker 1: gotta make sure you hold in your room, you know
- 38:03Speaker 1: you can. You gotta watch, you gotta check all your
- 38:06Speaker 1: stuff off because he no, we can't. All right, if
- 38:10Speaker 1: you got a Christian roommate and you're not a Christian,
- 38:13Speaker 1: let me tell you christian something. Who whoever sleeps with,
- 38:17Speaker 1: who who ever sleeps within, dan't your damn benness. Okay,
- 38:24Speaker 1: the last one. If the rent is due on the
- 38:29Speaker 1: foast the foe, we agreed that they paid the rent.
- 38:33Speaker 1: We don't want to rent on the second, third, four, fifth, six, seven, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleven, twelve, thirteenth, fourteen, fifteenth, sixteen, seventeen, eighteenth, nineteen, twenty,
- 38:46Speaker 1: twenty one, twenty two, twenty three, six, twenty seven, twenty eight,
- 38:54Speaker 1: twenty nine, thirty we wanted on the foight. Okay, okay,
- 39:00Speaker 1: all right, thank you ja. Those roommate rules coming up
- 39:05Speaker 1: in thirty four after the hour. Unbelievable. This story right here, guys,
- 39:10Speaker 1: the officer who was fired for the choke and whole
- 39:12Speaker 1: death of Eric Garner. Well now he's suing the NYPD
- 39:17Speaker 1: to get his job back. All Right, we'll tell you
- 39:20Speaker 1: about that right after this you're listening to. All Right,
- 39:26Speaker 1: So Daniel Pantaleo, the officer who was fired back in
- 39:30Speaker 1: twenty fourteen in the chokehole death of Eric Garner, Well,
- 39:35Speaker 1: check this out. He's now suing the New York Police
- 39:38Speaker 1: Department and the Police Police Commissioner to be reinstated to
- 39:43Speaker 1: get his old job back. We all saw that horrific
- 39:46Speaker 1: video of the confrontation between mister Garner, a black man,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and the officers trying to arrest him for selling untaxed cigarette.
- 39:55Speaker 1: It drew outrage as well it should have. Mister Garner's
- 39:59Speaker 1: dying words, I can't breathe remember that. Um. Reverend Al
- 40:03Speaker 1: Sharpton of the National Action Network released a statement saying
- 40:07Speaker 1: Pantalio's decision to seek his reinstatement is not only disrespectful
- 40:11Speaker 1: to the Police Commissioner and the NYPD, but also the
- 40:15Speaker 1: Gardner family. Uh Now, according to Pantalio's lawyer, Pantalio never
- 40:20Speaker 1: put any pressure on Gardner's neck and that he likely
- 40:23Speaker 1: died from either a lung or heart condition. No no,
- 40:30Speaker 1: no autopsy told us what he died from. Yeah, Frank, yes, yeah, yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 1: and we all saw it with our very own eyes.
- 40:41Speaker 1: How about that Hinckley, the dude the shot Ronald Reagan.
- 40:49Speaker 1: He can't go to the White House no more. Yeah, oj,
- 40:58Speaker 1: your ass can't be a police officer, no mo right.
- 41:02Speaker 1: The grand jury didn't indict him, but he did. The
- 41:06Speaker 1: ruling was he did lose his job, and the Garner
- 41:09Speaker 1: family won a civil lawsuit, you know, against the city.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And we just saw Miss Eric Garner's mother, she was
- 41:16Speaker 1: with us. There's no way you get to go back
- 41:24Speaker 1: to this profession who would hire him? But and you're right,
- 41:31Speaker 1: this is so disrespectful man, right, This is when you
- 41:37Speaker 1: really don't understand the value of life, or so you
- 41:41Speaker 1: think that you can kill this black man, get fired,
- 41:45Speaker 1: and then sued him for firing. You What all I
- 41:48Speaker 1: did was kill a black dude. Why I can't go
- 41:51Speaker 1: back to work exactly? That's are you serious? Man? By him?
- 41:57Speaker 1: And even they shouldn't even entertain this case. This is nothing.
- 42:04Speaker 1: As soon as they filed a paperwork, they should throw it. Well,
- 42:08Speaker 1: they filed it, they should throw this out. See, you
- 42:11Speaker 1: could come to court for some dumb ass reasons, man,
- 42:14Speaker 1: and this right here is appalling. Yeah, it really is
- 42:18Speaker 1: total disregard for this man's life, for his family. You
- 42:23Speaker 1: think that all you did was kill a black man,
- 42:26Speaker 1: so you should be able to continue your job. Your
- 42:29Speaker 1: ass really supposed to be in prison. You're supposed to
- 42:32Speaker 1: be right over there with Amber Geiger doing some damn tap.
- 42:35Speaker 1: It's what you supposed to be doing, right, sir. Interesting
- 42:38Speaker 1: that you bring up Amber Geiger, Steve and other news
- 42:41Speaker 1: out of Dallas, Texas former police officer Amber Geiger, who
- 42:46Speaker 1: of course, was convicted of killing both them John and
- 42:49Speaker 1: his apartment. While her lawyers have filed for paperwork to
- 42:53Speaker 1: appeal her murder conviction. Geiger, of course, is serving her
- 42:57Speaker 1: ten year sentence in Mountain View Prison and Bill, Texas.
- 43:01Speaker 1: She is eligible for parole in twenty twenty four. So
- 43:04Speaker 1: here we go. You can, you you can, you can
- 43:10Speaker 1: appeal your conviction. You date, nobody's doing that. You go
- 43:15Speaker 1: back to any court system. You're not gonna get that
- 43:18Speaker 1: one overturned. Sorry, well, I hope you're right. Yeah, I mean,
- 43:22Speaker 1: stranger things have happened. This is unbelievable, man. Listen, Really,
- 43:28Speaker 1: Daniel Pantaleo trying to sue the New York Police Department
- 43:31Speaker 1: and the police commissioner. That's crazy too. The audacity job
- 43:37Speaker 1: and good. So you can have a weapon, so you
- 43:41Speaker 1: could kill somebody else. Come on, man, now you've already
- 43:45Speaker 1: proved that you would choke a person. Yeah, yeah, it
- 43:48Speaker 1: would takes very little for you to shoot a person.
- 43:51Speaker 1: And I don't see how any police officer we want
- 43:54Speaker 1: to work side by side with somebody like that, knowing
- 43:57Speaker 1: what he's done, because man, for the good offers that
- 44:00Speaker 1: are out there to serve and protect, who do go
- 44:03Speaker 1: to work trying to do the right thing? Why would
- 44:05Speaker 1: you want to be sitting in a squad call with
- 44:07Speaker 1: this this butthole y man, miss me? All right, coming
- 44:12Speaker 1: up next, Steve, we're gonna switch gears here, Nephew Tommy

- 45:43Speaker 1: them run off and get married? Like? Wait wait wait
- 45:45Speaker 1: wait wait where did you hear this from? I just
- 45:49Speaker 1: got a phone call from one of the kids at
- 45:51Speaker 1: the school saying that they didn't that this. The girl
- 45:53Speaker 1: grew up with it? When to grew up with an auto?
- 45:56Speaker 1: Grade school? She called it? Said Lashonda and Darren then
- 46:00Speaker 1: ran off and got married together, and didn't say that

- 47:49Speaker 1: How do you tell you damn that? Look at mister Dillard. Uh,
- 47:52Speaker 1: you're not gonna put your ass on my son, my
- 47:55Speaker 1: lit Brenan. I hem. And the only reason I didn't
- 47:59Speaker 1: see her doing something like that because I'm taller. I'm
- 48:01Speaker 1: taller years and years and years. You know. Don't make
- 48:04Speaker 1: no baby. You don't make no baby. Not be married.
- 48:07Speaker 1: You don't do it. We don't. God man, that means
- 48:11Speaker 1: you're trying to make it right that wish you did,
- 48:14Speaker 1: mister Dillon. Mister Dillon, mister to me, now, I understand
- 48:18Speaker 1: that's your daughter, she's playing or whatever, but let me

- 48:29Speaker 1: Your son didn't curse my baby girl and be getting
- 48:32Speaker 1: married and he didn't gotta bring it. I know what's
- 48:35Speaker 1: going on. I know what it is. My son ain't
- 48:40Speaker 1: done nothing to your daughter. Let me call down there
- 48:43Speaker 1: and talk to him before you talk about going down
- 48:46Speaker 1: and putting your hands on somebody. I told my mabyt
- 48:51Speaker 1: he ain't number the dog. Who got the whole? Who? Who? Who?
- 48:55Speaker 1: But don't be accoosing my son of being no damn third.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Now we will kind of man grover to get mad
- 49:01Speaker 1: at the hands of twenty. It ain't talking to the
- 49:03Speaker 1: parts and nobody wouldn't make them do something like that. Well,
- 49:07Speaker 1: you're talking about my tody. My son ain't done nothing,
- 49:10Speaker 1: because as you're raising him, how did you raising you've
- 49:13Speaker 1: been doing? You're in raising right? Wait a minute, novels

- 54:01Speaker 1: got it for you here. It is Berry Letter, all right,
- 54:05Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew Saved by the Finger. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:10Speaker 1: I attend a prominent mega church and I'm very active
- 54:14Speaker 1: in my church. The church threw a back to school
- 54:17Speaker 1: bash for the children at the church and we had
- 54:19Speaker 1: a pool party in our indoor pool. I volunteered to
- 54:22Speaker 1: help her on the pool and watch the smaller kids. Shirley,
- 54:26Speaker 1: I have been losing weight for the last year and
- 54:29Speaker 1: I wanted to show off my body in my swimsuit,
- 54:33Speaker 1: but with a nice cover up on over my swimsuit.
- 54:36Speaker 1: My husband told me I was going too far by
- 54:39Speaker 1: wearing it to the church event, but I wasn't showing
- 54:42Speaker 1: any body parts. I went to the party and it
- 54:45Speaker 1: was going good until some of the kids started horse
- 54:48Speaker 1: playing and I went over to stop them. One of
- 54:51Speaker 1: the boys was so wild he pushed me in the
- 54:55Speaker 1: pool by mistake. So there I was wig and all
- 54:59Speaker 1: in the pool and flailing around to get out. One
- 55:03Speaker 1: of the deacons of the church jumped in and tried
- 55:06Speaker 1: to rescue me, so I was holding onto him for
- 55:09Speaker 1: dear life. I ended up slipping out of his grip
- 55:12Speaker 1: and he reached down with one hand and cupped my butt.
- 55:19Speaker 1: When he did. When he did, one of his fingers
- 55:26Speaker 1: slid into my butt. What man, I mean in my butt?
- 55:36Speaker 1: So here I am in the pool, traumatized, and I
- 55:40Speaker 1: don't think the deacon knew what he had just done.
- 55:43Speaker 1: It happened so fast. I started yelling and other men
- 55:47Speaker 1: came over and pulled me out. My cover up was
- 55:50Speaker 1: all tangled up, so everyone saw my bikini, and that
- 55:53Speaker 1: made me even more ashamed. I should have listened to
- 55:56Speaker 1: my hobby and chose another job to volunteer for back
- 56:00Speaker 1: to school bash. I got out of the pool and
- 56:03Speaker 1: wrapped up in a towel, but I couldn't sit down.
- 56:06Speaker 1: The pain was still there. I need to tell my
- 56:10Speaker 1: husband what happened, but I don't know how. I wonder
- 56:13Speaker 1: if the deacon figured out what he did. Maybe I
- 56:16Speaker 1: should just take this secret to my grave. Please advise,
- 56:20Speaker 1: please take this to your grave. All right, in the
- 56:23Speaker 1: words of my late mother, Helen Clark, you cannot tell everything. Okay,
- 56:30Speaker 1: this was an accident. It was an accident. None of
- 56:34Speaker 1: this meant to go down, Okay, was meant to go down.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Once your husband finds out what the deacon did, he's
- 56:40Speaker 1: probably gonna want to put hands on the deacon. So please,
- 56:43Speaker 1: you're gonna start a big old thing if you If
- 56:46Speaker 1: you do this, if the deacon doesn't remember, just act
- 56:48Speaker 1: like it didn't happen. I gotta tell you, congratulations on
- 56:52Speaker 1: your weight loss. I know you were probably feeling yourself,
- 56:55Speaker 1: you know, and and looking good and you know, and
- 56:58Speaker 1: just feeling confident in all that because of the weight loss.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Right now, but because this was a church affair, I
- 57:05Speaker 1: have to say I agree with your husband. I think
- 57:07Speaker 1: you should have listened to him and not warned that
- 57:09Speaker 1: bikini there, and you know, maybe you could have avoided
- 57:12Speaker 1: this little situation you found yourself in. No one would
- 57:16Speaker 1: have known, you know, if you no one knows anyway,
- 57:20Speaker 1: but they didn't know, you know, they wouldn't have seen
- 57:22Speaker 1: you in this bikini, and you wouldn't have been ashamed,
- 57:25Speaker 1: and it wouldn't have ended up like this. But now
- 57:28Speaker 1: here you're feeling guilty for no reason. You don't have
- 57:31Speaker 1: to feel like that. Okay, take this secret to your
- 57:34Speaker 1: grave and go on with your life. Please just stay
- 57:38Speaker 1: away from that deacon. Don't look him in the eye
- 57:41Speaker 1: when you see him. Steve, Oh, well here we go.
- 57:48Speaker 1: You better make me proudly. You better listen close to
- 57:55Speaker 1: this megachurch. That means be a lot of people, and
- 57:59Speaker 1: you very reactive in your church. Well not any more
- 58:06Speaker 1: hard to be active when you sow. So let's just
- 58:11Speaker 1: get to this. The church threw a back to school
- 58:15Speaker 1: bass for the children at the church and they had
- 58:20Speaker 1: a pool party. You volunteered to watch him at the
- 58:24Speaker 1: pool party, but for a very devilish reason. See, you've
- 58:30Speaker 1: been losing wait the last year, and you wanted to
- 58:32Speaker 1: show off your body in the swim suit. You went
- 58:38Speaker 1: down now with the intent to show everybody your ass.
- 58:45Speaker 1: That's what you went down there, fault. Come on, now,
- 58:50Speaker 1: I had nice cover up on my swim suit, but
- 58:54Speaker 1: your husband told you you was going too far when
- 58:58Speaker 1: the bikini to the church event. But I wasn't showing
- 59:04Speaker 1: anybody parts. What you go down there? Fall into bikinni.
- 59:09Speaker 1: A bikinny is two pieces, shoulders is out, some of
- 59:14Speaker 1: your breast is out, all your mid section is out,
- 59:17Speaker 1: and your booty out. Very important information here, booty is out.
- 59:26Speaker 1: This is critical. So I went to the party and
- 59:31Speaker 1: it was going good to some of the kids started
- 59:33Speaker 1: horse playing. You went over to stop him. One of
- 59:35Speaker 1: the bars was so wild he pushed you in the
- 59:38Speaker 1: pool by mistake. That what you think? So there I
- 59:42Speaker 1: was wig it all in the pool, flailing around to
- 59:46Speaker 1: get out. Why is you flailing around to get out
- 59:50Speaker 1: the pool? Why is you watching kids and your ass
- 59:55Speaker 1: can't swim at the pool because the purpose wasn't to
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: watch the kids. It was sold everybody else could watch you.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: You to jump your ass out there. Nah, God don't
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: like showing out. So the punishment is you and you
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: win as wig is not in the water. When I
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: come back, I'm tell you what really happened. Yeah. Part
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the hour, subject Saved by the Finger. We'll be back
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject Saved by the Finger.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Part The uppity woman down at the church, Big church
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: wants to watch the kids at the food party. She'd
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: been losing wait for years, so she wanted to ask,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: she said in her letter, show off her body. So
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: what she do at the church event. She put on
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: the babe to suit, the shows off the most body
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the damn but kinney. Her husband told her not to wear.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: After the church event, she said, but I won't be
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: showing any body parts because I'm wearing a wrap cover up.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Well have fuck you? Went down at the show off
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: one of the boys that the pool got wild and
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: pushed you in the pool by mistake, that's what you
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: think his ass wanted to see you? Whet the boy
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: pushed you in now on purpose? Oh really? Oh hell yeah?
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: And get your fine ass in the water. It's time
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: for a little where t shirt contest contest. You don't
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: think they noticed. They got computer, they know what to do.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: They didn't push your thicker ass in that water, and
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: that it's all looking good. You flayed it around to
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: get out, wig and all, because you know why, because
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you know why you're flailing because you can't swim. Why
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: was your ass volunteering to be the lifeguard and you
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: ass can't swim. You can't save a damn soul if
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: they get it lost in the water. But you didn't
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: took your ass down there to ship walk. Well here,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: let me tell you what happened. One of the deacons
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: at the church jumped in and tried to rescue. So
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I was holding on to him for dear life that
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: he went in there on purpose. He didn't have those
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: swim shots on. Deacon then full suit everything, Yeah, get
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: on in the hill. Yeah, he jumps in, I got you.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I ended up slipping out of his grip and he
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: reached down with one hand and cut my butt. That
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: ain't how you save nobody like they ain't no life
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: saving school. Do you jump in and grab nobody's ass
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: to save them? This black dead in to grab your ass.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Ain't have nothing. All this is happening in three feet
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: of water. Three feet black people ain't got no pool
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: with no dep in on it. Now he down in
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: three feet of water, acting like he being health of
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: with it. Damn suit off. This tie ain't even wet.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Now you ended up slipping out of his grip. He
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: greached down with one hand and cups your butt. Wow,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: the idea is to get your head out the water,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: knock your hand. So now he hadn't grabbed your home.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: But when he did, one of his fingers slid into
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: my button, I mean in it, Dad off up in
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: my booty. So here I am in the pool, traumatized
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: as you should be. Got this bad, and you know,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: and this big deacon breaks, Big deacon break. This is
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: why you're traumatized. One of them kids finger had it
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: got caught up in that wouldn't have been that bad.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: But big ass deacon breaks. This was a whole another experience.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: That's why you're traumatized. I don't think that Dickon Deacon
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: knew what had just happened. What you don't know why
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you don't think he happened. How he don't know his
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: finger has slipped in your button. Let me help you understand.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Something like that is a temperature change from pool water
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to foody water. Pool water and booted water is two different.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Damn temperature one when you're in the pool. Pools is cool.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: They don't have heated pools in public et. This is
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: cool water. When he cuts your butt and pushed his finger,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: felt a temperature change. It happened so fast. I started yelling.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I've never had that happen. But I probably hollow too.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I hollowed at my last prostate example, and I wasn't
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: even in the pool. So now you holly. Some other
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: men came over, pulled me out. My cover up was
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: tangling up. Everybody saw my bikini. Ain't that what you want? Huh?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Ain't that why you wore it? Because you wanted to
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: show off your body. Now God, see, God grants our wishes,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: He just don't tell us how he gonna do it.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: So the Lord said that what you want this high
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: is gonna happen though. Now you got to wrap wrapped
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: up all around your neck. You got deacon finger to
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: slid all up in you. Now you stand up there
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: with the bikini on, and it made you more a shame.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: I shouldn't listened to my husband. You damn right chose
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: another job, volunteered to back school bad. I go out
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the pool wrapped up in a tower, but I couldn't
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: sit down. The pain was still that. That's called the
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: big Deacon Banks. I need to tell my husband what happened,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: but I don't know how. You know why. You don't
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: know how, because you're better not to tell him what
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you're gonna tell him. Not for I wondered the deacon
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: figured out what he did? Hell yeah, he church Mouth's quiet.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: He know what he did. He dove in there. He
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: saved you by grabbing your button to get you out
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: of three feet of water. Maybe I should take my
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: secret to the grave. You ain't gotta take your secret
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to the game. You might just take kept secret down
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: to the hospital. All right, we gotta roll out, Steve.

- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Lamar Odom dated to Raji p Henson at one time.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: He's actually opening up about their relationship and how it
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: ended on TV one's Uncensored. Apparently, Lamar and Taraji were
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: hot and heavy sometime between two thousand and nine. Somewhere
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: before two thousand and nine, I should say, Lamar said
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: dating Taraji was the most adult relationship he's ever had.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Take a listen what else? That was the most significant
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: relationship as a thrown up that I had with a
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: black woman. I used to carry a pitch on the
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: roll with me. Don't nobody know that, dude that play
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: with me? But she gave me inspiration. You know what
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I'm saying. A black woman broken like that, that's just
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: as good as her craft, And I'm at my craft.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Who who the hell is deep thoutain? Piano music? Went
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: nicely with that, Jake. It was a great pairing. Boy,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: you dad, We don't know about beautiful compliment he paid her.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: She's engaged in everything round. Hey dog, this ain't the
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: time for that. Well unfortunately, the res did badly because
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Lamar was an immature punk. According to him, I didn't
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: know how to tell her that I was falling in
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: love with another woman named Chloe Kardashian. See how the
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: story see so right here right here? See now, everybody
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: was trying to feel something for you. Then here you come. You.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: This ain't the thing to say, not on our girl.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: To Raji, well it's uncensored. It's a show. So he's
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: talking about his life and exactly that should have been
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: quiet Tommy has not been answered. Come on playing the piano?
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: Ja you want me to tell you who playing? Yes, yes,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Tommy who's playing the piano? Man Tank is playing the piano?
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: God Boy? Right there? Man, I ain't gonna lie to
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: another way. When he finished, he said, all right, we're
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: moving on. In Other entertainees and other entertainment news, R
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Kelly lost another lawyer this week because he can't or
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: won't pay the bill. He's currently locked up waiting trial
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: waiting trial for child sex abuse and trafficking in multiple jurisdictions,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: but he also has an unpaid twelve thousand dollars bill
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: from his divorce attorney, Lisa Demiko no longer represents R
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Kelly and wants a judge to force him to pay up.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: There you go, all right, coming up our last break
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from the one
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this at forty nine
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: minutes after the hour you're listening to show. All right,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: here we are Steve, last break of the day. It's
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: been a good day, a good Friday. Up. Yeah, yes,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: if the lift bring up the day, which leads us
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: into Steve's losing remarks. Take it away, Steve. Hey, you know, um,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: I want to share something to you all that really
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: happened to me this year, and um, it was a
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: game changer for me, and I think this is something
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: that a lot of people experience. A guy was at
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: my home doing a procedure today and uh he was said,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: mister Harvey, thank you so much. How do you do it?
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: How do you? And I told him, and so I
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: want to share it with you. You know, Um, you
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: know I was almost borderline having high blood pressure right
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: and that doctor's telling me, you gotta watch it. You
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: gotta slow down a little bit, you gotta take your time.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: You know, you need more time off or something, but
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: you gotta just stop. Man, you bought it, you don't
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: have it, but you can be borderline. And we like
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: to start you on five milligrams. I forgot the stuff
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: they gave me, but they gave me five milligrams. That's
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: when I came back to do the check up ninety
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: days letter. My blood pressure was perfect and the doctor
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: was saying to me, he said, man, this is great man.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: That five milligrams really worked. He said, But I'm looking
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: at your records, and you didn't call in to get
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: your refills and one supplies only. We gave you a
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: one month supply. You should have had two refills. You
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: didn't call in for the refills. I said, I stopped
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: taking it. He said, no, no, no, no, your blood
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: pressure is perfect, mister Harvey. Don't stop taking it because
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: it's working just fun. I said no, I stopped taking
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: it after seven days. He said what, he said, your
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: blood pressure is perfect. What did you do? I said, well,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I did two things. I started watching my diet really closely.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: He said that can help. But what else did you do?
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I said, I stopped worrying. He said what I said?
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I stopped worrying because what had happened y'all was And
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: I found out that a lot of people suffer from stress.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: A lot of people have high CORTERSOL levels, which stop
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you from losing weight. A lot of people are high
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: blood and borderline high high blood. A lot of people
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: live their life under pressure and anxiety because of a
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: simple thing called worry. Well, I was reading a scripture
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna paraphrase it. There was a scripture
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: that I had read that says, by worrying, you cannot
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: add one hour to your life. And I stopped, and
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: I thought, by worrying, you cannot add one hour to
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: your life. Now, if worrying can't even add an hour
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: to your life, what you're worrying about the rest of
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: this stuff? For by worrying, you can't increase your time
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: on earth? Why are you worrying about anything else? And
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: what happens is we worry so much that we bring
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: undue pressure on our shoulders that we don't need. Because
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: the Large Prayer is clear, give us this day our
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: daily bread. And the reason it doesn't mention the past
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: in the Lord's Prayer, and it never mentions the future
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: in the Large Prayer, with the exception of the line
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: that will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I mean, that's the closest thing to talking about anything
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: in terms of time. But what it clearly says is
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread. And as I
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: got to study in a little bit further than I
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: was reading this book, what they're talking about is God
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: created us as creatures to live in twenty twenty four
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: hour increments that we are really not designed to handle
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: what happened in the past, and We're most certainly not
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: designed to what's going to happen tomorrow. We are designed
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: for twenty four hour increments. That's why you ask Him
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to give us this day our daily bread. And when
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you do that each day that you face when you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: focus on the right decisions today, worshiping, praising Him today,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: thanking him for today, thanking him for what all he's
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: done for you, and you focus on the decisions, the thoughts,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: your visions. Not to say you're not supposed to have
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: visions and dreams for tomorrow. I'm saying you're not supposed
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: to worry about tomorrow. So when you focus on the
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: right things of today, today is plenty. You have enough
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: decisions to make today. You have enough trials or consequences
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I mean or tribulations to get over in the course
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: of the day. You have enough to do to get
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: through today. And today is so strong on us as
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: human beings that God even broke these days up into
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: two brackets. He gave us day and night so you
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: can even get a rest from the day by going
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: to bed. So he gives you day and night so
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: you can break this very stressful thing up called life
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: and keeping it to twenty four our increments you would
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: be suppos rise, and how much better you would feel,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: how stress free your life becomes, and how happier you
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: could become. If you simply would not worry about tomorrow,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: you can actually lower your blood pressure by eating right
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: and by stop worrying about things you can't control. You
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: can't do nothing about tomorrow. How many times have you
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: laid a plan out for tomorrow and then you wake
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: up and something happens and the whole plan go away.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: So now what you're worrying about tomorrow, how it's gonna
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: go when guess what, you don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: It could all change for the better, or it can
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: all change your creative challenge. But if you would stop wary,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: if you would ask God to give us this day
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: our daily bread and get through today. Focus on making
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: decisions today, Focus on doing the right thing today. Focus
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: on living the best life you can live today. Enjoy today.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Stop tripping about what happened to you in the past
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: because you can't change it, And stop tripping about what's
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: gonna happen to me because you can't do nothing about
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: it till it get here. If you would just stop worried.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: You would feel a whole lot better. Those are my
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: closing remarks today. Guess what, like I've been saying, have
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: yourself until weekend, he said. For all Steve Harvey contests,
